Welcome to the opening bell of the NFL Stock Exchange podcast.
Welcome to Hell on the Cell, brother.
That's how I should have started that podcast.
I'm Trevor Sykima.
With me, as always, is my good friend,
of my co-host, Connor Rogers, here for a little trade deadline matchmaker.
Look, we said that we were going to do,
fix your franchise for the Miami Dolphins,
we are in fact still going to do that.
But as Connor and I were prepping for the show,
last minute, as we often do,
we were like, wait a second.
Why would we fix the dolphins in like eight of their players
are on the trade block right now?
It makes a lot more sense to wait.
So we're going to give you guys to fix your franchise for the Miami Dolphins,
but that's going to be coming on Wednesday.
So Connor said, hey, let's be topical.
Let's hit it.
Let's have some fun conversations.
And what a fun show this is going to be playing trade deadline matchmaker.
We're going to be talking about all the big names
that are on the trade market.
right now 24 hours out from the trade deadline uh we'll talk about some under the radar guys as well
and we will not only bring up those names we will tell you the teams that we would like to see them
on next we also want to hear from the chat of course Connor how you doing my friend
i'm good man it's menung guy monday for all those yeah maybe it is god i just absolutely love it
the chat's furious at us were late again what else is new it is funny after you were like uh
What if all the dolphins trade their players during the show?
I think Jalen Phillips got moved two hours after you sent that text.
Yes.
So for once, we are prepared.
We have a fun segment today.
We're going to get the cookmaster involved.
Yes, we are.
And behind the scenes pull back the curtain of the Wizard of Oz.
I'm really excited, man.
This chat just kills me.
It sends me into absolute laughter before every show.
Which, by the way, can I get, can I get a round of applause for the addicts out there?
We love you guys.
you remember like a week a week and a half ago whatever we were telling you guys that
Tyler our producer uh had a short film that was in a film contest and we're like hey if you guys
want to support Tyler uh then please go vote for his uh short film and his short film won and a
big reason why is because you addicts rallied behind him and supported him and we as the host
of this show sincerely thank you guys for doing that that was a really cool thing to do we appreciate
you guys we really felt the love from the fam so shout at the Tyler uh shout out of
to, uh, what, Detective Tuna, Detective Tuna, the short film. And, of course, uh, shout
to everybody out there who voted. So, uh, we love it. We got, we got nonstop Ws in the chat right
now. We love to see it. You know what else we have in the chat, Connor? We, before we even
started the show, we have, uh, $18.99 in super chats, strictly to celebrate your boy,
Kyle Munungai. The first one's from Hunter 1399. It simply just says,
Kyle Manung guy for the game that he had 26 carries over 170 yards was a monster this past
weekend starting for the injured D'Andre Swift in Chicago.
Miles Leon, Leon, if it is, Leon, I hope it is.
I hope it's Leon.
I need to hear Conner's comment.
The ladies say Leon to Miles.
That's true.
That's true.
So, of course, we have to follow suit.
I need to hear Conner's comment on the Kyle Munungai legacy game.
Connor, take the floor, my friend.
common guy was your guy he was your guy he was the pride of new uh new jersey never fumbled in college
excellent player for ruckers guaranteed thousand yards greg shiano tried to challenge me i warned him
if you give him the ball it's a guaranteed thousand yards even though he he said nothing's guaranteed
in football i've never been more scared uh so man you know what there's two things here one
kyle monongai was better than the seventh round player and i'm pumped for him that he's taking that
opportunity and running with it. The second thing is Ben Johnson is freaking awesome, dude.
This run game looks really, really good. You go from DeAndre Swift having a good year to
Kyle Van Unguad jumping right in and the bears offensively, not defensively, are rolling a little
bit here. Caleb obviously with the big day, but I'm pumped, dude. It's, you know, when you see guys
that are underappreciated in a draft class that do all the things the right way and are really good
football players and just don't go because maybe they're not the biggest guy or the fast
guy but you know damn well the tape is the tape i think monongai represents that in every way and it's
like i know we we've been joking and having fun but it's really cool to see everybody in the chat
kind of rallying behind that player i think it's what makes this community extra special i mean
when he was absolutely going off i had people tweeting at me you know tweeting at the two of us
tweeting at the show just young guy i mean kyle monongai yeah hundred yards at the half and to be
honest with you it i know you said like we joke around a lot about it but like the reason
why you loved him as a prospect and honestly my my number one most favorite trait of a running
back prospect to run as pissed off as possible that's it man the time you touch the football that's
Kyle Monong guy and he even showed more juice in this past game I thought so too then I saw him
run with it but we love that we love to see that I really do yeah 30 pounds of muscle and a 10
pound sack is Kyle Monong guy is unreal angle a shout out bangle friend or
enemy of the show, depending on, depending on, you know, which episode we got going on here.
But always a friend, sometimes an enemy of the show here.
He said, how many yards do we think Conner's picking up against the Cincinnati Bengals?
Shout out to the Bears offensive line as well.
Yeah.
They were nasty.
Gollums out there, just absolute monsters.
I don't know.
What's the challenge that everybody says?
Do you think he could pick up five yards in an NFL game?
How many carries?
10?
Yeah.
It depends what offensive line I have.
If I'm playing the Bengals with the Bears interior, I think I could do it.
I think you could do it.
I think I think I played lacrosse.
You could do it.
I just plunge forward with all my might.
The only thing you have to worry about is like on carry three, do I tear both my labrums?
There's a chance.
You might, but you'd get the five yards first.
I would just, if I needed five, I would just fall.
forward every time i would never try to actually take a hit bengel says you're getting at least 60
i mean bengal which he watches his favorite team a lot the cincinnati bengals he knows that
he and he loves that he knows how historically awful they are bengal is a diehard giants fan
for all of those at home he's also a yankees fan in texas probably loves his lebrons lakers
try just love come on man now he's getting out of the stream now he's getting out of the stream
We started off nice.
No, I love Bengal.
Yeah, Bengals are a lot of fun.
Everybody, I'm sure.
Bengals got like,
Bengals got like,
like over half a million subscribers.
I think he has over half a mill.
If you guys are Mr. Beast, Bengal.
Honestly, I like,
I like Bengal more.
I think you should have more subscribers than Mr. Beast.
Yeah.
The Bengal games coming up,
you know,
the sponsored event.
There you go.
Put a random YouTuber against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Can they get five?
yards and 10 carries. That's the Bengal games. You're telling me you're not watching.
I'm watching every second of it. I think I am too. Unfortunately, I'm a sucker for that stuff.
We've already got one in the chat right off the bat. Tevondre, it says Swift means Tevondre
sweat to the Kansas City Chiefs make sense for a third rounder. I don't think the Titans are
going to move on from sweat that quick. They've been a little weird about it, I think.
You think? But do you think they trade them at this deadline? I don't think they're going to trade them
before this season's over.
the problem, there's a non-zero chance, not a high chance, but the Bengals are, the Titans are
just, like, why trade Jarvis Brownlee, unless they just didn't like the great question, like
the fit, they are not afraid to trade to trade players under team control right now that are
viable NFL defenders. So I think they just, I think Borganzi just wants his own guys and wants
to fill out the roster his way. That'd be great for the chiefs. They could use, they could use
a fat guy in the middle that two gaps
they really could
dude we were on the PFFO show
and uh
somebody this morning multiple people in fact
go oh no go
can you imagine Jeremiah love and the chiefs
what are we doing
what do the chiefs need more help
how much help does Patrick
Mom's need we got to give the chiefs
Jeremiah love
would you be shocked
no obviously
because it would be the smart thing to do
and it would make them unstoppable.
That was my first reaction to all that.
Actual $2 super chat, we appreciate you.
Said Brock Purdy on the market maybe, doubt it.
Nah, don't think so.
Guaranteed money in quarterback contracts like that is very funky.
Ain't happening.
So Lansing, the $5 super chat says the Bengals make me want to go only one side minimum.
You never go one side minimum.
Everybody knows that around here.
Trevor's going to faint on site.
Tony, $50 super chat.
Tony.
Tony, man.
Tony's too good to us.
Tony is way too good to us.
Glad to see you guys of Tony football.
Focus.
He said, glad to see you guys.
It's been a soul-crushing weekend for me after the World Series.
This is the first time I've been online since Saturday night.
Couldn't miss the live stream.
We appreciate you, Tony.
We're glad that we're ushering you back into the sports world.
We won't spend too much time on it.
But Lord have mercy, what an incredible game seven.
I'm not even that big baseball guy.
I'm glued.
It's a great sporting event.
It was incredible.
I wanted, no slight to the Dodgers, although I was rooting for the Blue Jays.
I wanted that Vlad Guerrero pop out in the ninth to go out so bad.
Of course.
What a storybook ending that would have been if that goes out.
Would have been incredible.
Yeah, great world series.
Even more eyes on baseball.
Everybody was locked in.
It was sick, man.
By the way, you see that Jerry Jones, I think, went on the radio.
and
yes
said that they made a trade
but he won't
which he could
legitimately be doing
medicals
which is why
he might not
disclose it
but nobody's better
at this
or he could just be lying
he could just be lying
he didn't make a trade
at all
because then he can come out
tomorrow and he can be like
yeah
just
yeah he didn't pass
the medicals
yeah
we thought it was at
the finish line
but it was at the one yard line
sales guys love that yeah we were trying to is that the is that the two yard line so somebody
somebody was somebody was talking to me about you know what we're going to get to this play in a second
so i'm not going to ruin it you want to kick these off we we got a bunch of guys that we're
going to get to guys throughout the show we would love to hear from you not just super chats we'll go back
in the the regular chat of course doesn't have to just be a super chat but we would love to
hear you guys's thoughts opinions on all these players that we bring up so we're uh we're we're we're mimicking
emulating the goats of Michael Wilbon and Tony Cornheiser
who have been doing PTI for good Lord.
What is it like 22, 23 years now?
I don't remember life without it.
I do not.
I do not either.
So they do a segment where it's sort of like a this or that segment
where the voice of the producer behind the glass will come on
and he'll sort of give them a scenario and they will either have like a one word answer
or they will sort of explain it in a certain answer and then they will go on from there.
What we're going to do is we have eight players that we are going to talk about
specifically ourselves here, where we've got some graphics for it, spend a little bit of extra
time on it. And what we'll do is Tyler is going to come, his voice is going to come onto the show,
and he is going to bring up the player, and we're going to go three, two, one, and then Connor and I
are either going to hold up the note card, or if I have a, because I'm at the PFF studios, we have
helmets for all 32 NFL teams. If I have the helmet around me, I'm going to hold up the helmet
of the team that we want to trade for this player
or where we would like to see this player go
and then we'll have a good conversation about it.
So throughout this entire exercise,
we'd love to hear from you guys,
whether it's going to be like Breece Hall or Trey Hendrickson
or like whoever it is that we're going to bring up here on this show,
fire off your answers in the chat.
You'd love to hear from you.
Where do you want these players to go?
We'll go back and forth to you guys for the next hour and a half
doing all this good stuff.
But Tyler, if you are ready,
let's do Emmanuel said Trev's camera is going to freeze right at every player
Emmanuel get out of here get out of here
just kidding stick around we love you
okay Tyler if you're ready
voice reveal all right
voice reveal there he is
you actually hold on he actually sounds like
the PTI producer
like he's got a little bit of the echo to it
I actually yeah there's a little like reverb or something there
this is perfect Tyler I don't know if you purposely did that or not
but this is actually it was all calculated
All right. Well, first up, we got New York Jets running back, Breece Hall.
Okay. All right. All right. Conner, you ready for this one? It's your boy.
I am ready for us. All right. Okay. Three, two, one.
I got the Patriots. For those listening, I have the Chiefs.
Okay, so I held up the Patriots helmet and Colts or and Connor held up the Chiefs helmet.
Connor, I let you go first.
It would have been really funny if I grabbed the Jets helmet behind me.
It's like a W.W.E.
Like the, oh my God, he's staying in New York.
I'm not leaving.
Listen, Brise Hall, which I really do think the Jets would not move him for anything less than a day two pick.
It makes sense for when the Jets have a rookie quarterback next year to keep Brice Hall and have some support around that rookie.
But then the chiefs should be all in because you have Patrick Mahomes.
You have Andy Reed.
You're a Super Bowl contender every single year.
And I just think that they need to be more explosive in the backfield.
They haven't been willing to give over the reins to Bershard Smith.
And the thing that I think a lot of people that miss about Brees that don't watch them every week.
And if you don't watch the Jets every week, good for you.
So I think that I think Brees is an unbelievable receiver that has been so significantly underutilized in his career as a receiver.
amazing hands. He can win jump balls. He can transition from past catcher to runner after the
catch so smoothly. He's very dangerous in space. He's starting to get his legs back under him
where he's got some breakaway speed again since the injury. It's been a while, but he's starting
to show it. And I just look at Kansas City and think they're a team that would love to have him
on the field for passing downs all of the time. Totally different player than what Kareem Hunt is right
now. So for the Chiefs to me, the price is worth it to go get Brees Hall. And I think he would
explode in Kansas City's offense.
Yeah, it kind of depends on what the price is here for Brees Hall.
If it's going to be like a second or a third round pick, I don't know if the Patriots
would do it.
If it's a third round pick, that's an interesting price because the Patriots do have two
fourth round picks, I believe one fifth round pick, and then I think they have four sixth
round picks.
So if you are giving up a third and you have two fourths, I think you feel pretty good about
that.
I mean, if you can get a fourth round pick for Breece Hall, I think that you do that all day if you're the Patriot.
Bangle in the chat said, can't let Trayvion Henderson touch the ball. I like it.
That's their goal this year.
It is, it is sort of funny slash not.
I would rather than just use Trayvion Henderson. But clearly, he's kind of in theory.
Travion Henderson. Yeah, if he really exists. If he really exists. I know he was in the dog,
house earlier this year because of bad pass pro. Ramandre Stevenson has struggled with some fumbles.
Trayvion Henderson has had a fumbler to himself. I want to be clear. I would just give the ball
to Trayvon Henderson, but it does not feel like the Patriots have that sort of faith. And if he can get
into an offense with Drake May, the one worry that I have with this Patriots team right now is that
it feels a little too Drake May heavy right now. And on the games where Drake May isn't, you know,
Drake May, as the chat would say,
Drake May being the Drake May of Drake May.
Drake May is all the time.
Right.
We've said that so many times here on this show,
and it's obviously proven to be true here with his early NFL career.
On the games where he's not Superman,
I don't feel like they have a reliable run game to really lean back on.
And when you have Breece Hall,
you absolutely have that, like you said,
as a rusher and a receiver.
So I would love him.
Certainly he would be great with the Chiefs as well,
but I think that he would be great with the,
with the New England Patriots, too.
Yeah, I think it would be a different price.
I don't think the Jets would want to give anyone a value to New England.
It's true.
There is no love lost between the organizations,
starting at the top of both organizations with ownership.
So that would be, that would shock me unless they got ripped off.
But I think schematically, and like you said,
the little interest in playing Treveon, yeah, they could use them as well.
Matthew in the chat saying
Breece Hall to the Chargers. I don't think they would
do that. I mean, the Chargers need running back help
right now, no question about it. But
they've got
Omar and Hampton coming back.
Right. It would have to be very cheap to get
Brees and it's not right now. Right. Brian
saying Breece to the Saints.
For what?
Well, a pick.
No, like for why would the
Saints trade for a player right now? Right.
Right. Right.
Unless you just subscribe to the Mickey Loomis
of we'll never rebuild.
We're always in it.
Don't like the.
We're always contending.
Mickey Loomis is screaming, hold the line at one and eight.
How much help does Tyler Shuck need?
Yeah, that's, yeah, that is ridiculous.
I mean, that's, that's just like, that's, that's as bad as Patrick Malm's getting
Jeremy I love.
This is Tyler Shuck and Breece Hall.
Who else we got?
Anybody else here?
Ooh, Brock says Breeze Hall is Matt Forte with no help around him.
It's high praise.
Yeah, I mean,
Brice doesn't,
he hasn't had the help.
I mean,
I totally agree.
Totally agree.
I think the Jets,
if they keep them,
are really hoping he could build off
of what he did to the Bengals,
where he just went nuclear.
Yeah,
obviously the Bengals,
but that's how they want to play.
Okay.
Next one.
Let's give you rolling.
All right.
All right.
I had to upgrade the mic real quick.
All right.
Oh,
sorry.
Oh, Chris.
Show off.
Next up we got Cincinnati Bengals,
edge rusher, Trey Hendricksson. Okay, all right. Trey Henderson, chat. So tell us where you think
either Trey Hendrickson is going or, you know, don't see, I, look, the conversation right now
is that the Bengals aren't going to move on from him for a first round pick. Let's just say he does
get moved. Where do you want to see him get moved to? So, Connor, if you're ready. Yeah,
let's do it. I'm ready. All right. Three, two, one. Okay, I held up the helmet.
of the Indianapolis Colts
and Connor
held up the card
of the Buffalo Bills
Connor go ahead
why the bills
well number one
the Michael Hoyt
Achilles tear
this dude is just
brutal and awful
and Hoyt plays
all up and down
the line of scrimmage
the rare 300 pounder
that can play stand-up edge
and the bills
I've been saying
I think need more
and more pass rush
for a variety of reasons
now Hoyt is hurt
Landon Jackson
and their third round pick has not been playing football for them this year.
They don't really often make him active,
so they clearly don't trust him.
Joey Bosa has been really good,
and they have a plan for Joey Bosa.
Man, he was great against the chief.
Joey Bosa doesn't stay healthy through the course of an entire NFL season anymore.
Hopefully he does for Buffalo,
but even if Bosa does, adding Hendrickson only helps their pass rush on the edge.
And you saw how good that pass rush was having Mahon,
leading to Mahomes having a career low completion percentage of 44.1 on Sunday afternoon.
So for the bills, upgrading any area of that front is key.
Hendrickson would be really awesome for them.
And I think there's a need there now as well.
Yeah, for the Colts, look, I think that Laotu is coming on strong.
He's had a couple of games this year where he has graded really well.
He is showing the true potential of that edge one type of guy that he was in that
draft class a couple of years ago.
And so this is not in any way lay out too lot to hate.
It is more about just the fact that the Colts are in a rare spot right now,
even with their loss this past weekend to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Connor, they had six turnovers against the Steelers,
and they only lost by seven.
Like that just, they still scored 20 points in that game.
It was 27 to 20.
They had six turnovers in that game.
That almost, I'm not taking anything away from the Steelers here,
but like, that's an impressive showing from Indianapolis.
Like, that still shows how good of a team and how tough of an out you are.
If you added a player like Trey Hendrickson, even if it was like a rental for this year,
which I'm not so sure it would have to be, well, I don't know their cap off the top of my head.
Maybe it would have to be.
But like, even if it was a rental, you're seven and two.
You're you're the number one seed in the AFC going into this week.
And you have by far what feels like the highest floor of any team.
the NFL. Their EPA per play is number one in the NFL, or at least it was going into this
week. I don't know if it is now, but if not, then it's going to be top three. And in a game
where you're not turning the ball over like crazy, I think the Colts have an opportunity to make
a massive splash. And if they were to have Laotu-Latu on one side, Trey Hendrickson on the other,
Quitty Pei coming in as a rotational guy, you've got Grover Stewart, you've got DeForest
Bukter, you've got Attau, Attau, also in that rotation. Like, you have a really nice
defensive line at that point, which you need to be as good as possible, given the ups and downs
that they have had in the secondary. So the fact that their record is what it is would make me think
about the Colts being an all-in team here for Trey Anderson. Yeah, it makes sense. I mean,
the Colts definitely are a team. I think that needs to make a trade. I'll have more on that.
But I think they were definitely in my final three, too, as well when doing this specific one.
Jacob agrees with you with the bills. I think a lot of people agree with you with the bills.
Max is saying the Bears. The Bears are interesting.
because I do think the bears need to be better with pass rush,
but they just got Austin Booker back from injury,
and he had a pretty good game this past week against Cincinnati.
They do have the rookie Quay Robinson,
who it might be just a pass rusher,
but he is still a pass rusher for them.
So I think the Bears might believe their cavalry was coming
in the form of the development of Quay Robinson
and Austin Booker getting a little bit more healthy.
insert name saying the Pats, Trevor, an imposter, is saying Dallas.
I think Dallas is also, if the Dallas Cowboys traded Micah Parsons just to trade a first round pick for Trey Hendrickson,
I will become the Joker.
That would be hilarious, and there's a non-zero chance.
At the end of the day, it was just personal between Micah and Jerry.
I think so.
I think so, yes, I think there's a very good chance Dallas trades for an edge rusher.
Wait a second, Richard Clare say Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh!
How many edge rushers?
Pittsburgh.
How much help does Mike Tomlin need on the edge?
It's going to be the theme of today's show.
That's the theme of today's show.
How much does much?
How much fast rush help does Mike Tomlin need?
You want James Harrison to come out of retirement?
Trade of the Ravens?
No way.
There's no way they trade them to the Ravens.
I know I just did the thing with the Patriots and the Jets with, with Brice,
but there's no way the Bengals trade.
Trey Henderson, the Ravens.
No love loss there.
A lot of love for the Bears, a lot of action for the Bears.
The Rams?
I don't think, see, take over L.A., I can understand wanting to,
you add a player of Trey Henry's caliber, but like I just looked this up.
Byron Young and Jared Verse are top 12 in the NFL and passers grade as edge rushers.
So, like, those dudes are cooking.
Byron Young has been quiet, like insanely underrated.
They had a, never wrong, just early, baby, never wrong.
You were, you were absolutely a Byron young guy.
He had a roughing the passer call yesterday that was egregious, shameful, shameful.
So how much, how much help for the.
refs neat.
Well, a lot more is the answer.
A lot more.
75 more cameras and review every play.
And then we'll start to be actually a finally tuned establishment.
All right.
Next player.
All right.
Next up, we got New Orleans Saints, wide receiver, Chris Olave.
Saints wide receiver, Chris Olave.
Let's hear it, chat.
If Olave were to be on the move, where do you want?
him to go, or where would you see it making the most sense for Chris Olave to go?
Man, Olave, if he, it's complicated with concussion history, right?
Like, if he didn't have the concussion history, one, I don't even know if he's being considered to be traded at this place.
But, all right. So, yeah, let's do, uh, let's do Chris Olave.
All right, let's count it down. Three, two, one.
All right, Trevor's got the bills and Conner's got the Broncos.
All right. I got the Buffalo Bills, and you got the Denver Broncos.
I think this is kind of what the two, these are the two teams that I thought about the most here for Chris Oliva.
So talk to me about your thoughts of Chris Olivae on this Broncos team.
Yeah, I really like your pick for the Bills, by the way, because I do think they could use that number one guy.
But with the Broncos, very weird year for their offense, Bo Nix, you watch them through three quarters and so often nothing seems right with this offense.
and then in the fourth quarter, they've just made magic happen over and over again.
And there's been some big Troy Franklin weeks.
Cortland Sutton is typically a reliable guy for them.
I hope Troy Franklin continues to develop as he has this year because I liked him a lot in that draft.
Pat Bryan is going to get there as a possession guy.
Marvin Mims is hurt.
I just think Alabe would step in and be a true number one because of his separation skills.
And the timing in Sean Payton's offense, the timing with Bo Nix.
I think Bo right now just needs that number one to lean on.
And some teams have been able to take Sutton out of games.
They really have.
And that at times has sunk the passing game.
Now, they're trying to get R.J. Harvey going as well.
But I think the Broncos make it work with a lot of number two to three-ish wide receivers.
I think Alave comes into that offense and he is the undisputed number one,
which is something in my opinion they just don't have as much
I really like Cortland Sutton.
Alave is a move for many years of Bo Nix's prime rather than just a rental move.
You keep him in-house if you're the Broncos and make this move.
Yeah, I wondered if Olave and Sean Payton overlapped in New Orleans.
They did not.
Sean Payton left the year, I think a couple of months right before they drafted Chris Olave.
So I wondered if there was a little bit of an overlap there.
I wondered if that was the last draft class that John Payton had in New Orleans.
It's not, but I do still think the fit is there.
I think he becomes a more reliable wide receiver.
It feels as though it is just sort of Cortland Sutton.
And then they're kind of hoping, week in and week out, somebody else steps up, you know,
whether it is Marvin Mims, whether it is Evan Ingram, whether it is Troy Franklin, like one of those guys.
And if you have Olave, I feel like Olave then becomes that solidified wide receiver, too.
and you feel really good about your passing attack and the talent that's there.
The reason why I said the Buffalo Bills is because I do think that they are missing that
vertical threat in the offense. I really do. I think they've wanted Keon Coleman or at times
they have tried to use Keon Coleman as a wide receiver one type of a player. But I said this
on the PFF NFL show earlier. We heard a lot of hype for Keon Coleman this summer.
There were a lot of great like training camp clips of him and there was a lot of hype of like,
wow, he is just absolutely dominating training camp.
And we get into the season, and especially with Maxwell Harrison hurt, you go, oh, was he just beating up on bad corners that the bills had?
And that sort of feels like it's not maybe not 100% true, but has some validity to it because when they have tried to make Keon Coleman the focal point of the offense, the efficiency has taken a dip.
It's when they have been one of the most least efficient versions of themselves in the passing.
attack. They are a lot more efficient when they are using their tight ends, when they have
Dalton Kincaid, when they're using two tight ends with Dawson Knox, Jackson Hawes getting
involved in there as well. Obviously who they are with James Cook on the ground is important.
Kalos Shakir is a constant for them. But when they have tried to use Keon Coleman is that wide
receiver one type of a player, it hasn't worked for them. And I think it's because of that lack of
separation that he has as a player that makes it more difficult for him to be that focal point the
way they want to. Olave is a much better separator. And he is a much better deep
threat in my opinion. So he is somebody who I think could could really help out this team and be a
consistent explosive option for them in the passing game. If the Colts were looking to move on
from a guy like Alec Pierce, like I think Alec Pierce also maybe makes sense here for the Buffalo
bills for similar reasons. If you want a little bit of a discount there, we'll talk about
Rashid Shaheed in a little bit. But like sort of that's a little bit of the same conversation too.
But that to me is I just feel as though the bills need to unlock their passing game a little bit more
by getting players who are a little bit more open.
Joe in the chat, son in the chat.
They're both saying the Steelers.
Drew is saying the Steelers.
Colin is quoting Wolf of Wall Street saying,
I'm not effing leaving, you know, so we've got that here.
Ooh, Jacks.
Scrubber Ducky 500 going with the Jacks.
Does that mean they're moving on from Brian Thomas Jr?
Yeah, because Travis Hunter went healthy
is going to play a lot of receiver.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Got a lot of bills here.
Got a lot of Steelers here.
I'll talk about the Steelers and a receiver a little bit later in the show.
Pat's Emmanuel saying the Pats.
I think that's another one, right?
We talk about the Broncos and the bills, but the Patriots potentially.
That makes a lot of sense.
With Drake, Drake, May, May.
I think that that could make sense as him being in that offense there with another receiving option.
But it's kind of hard for me.
Let's see, I don't want to be a hypocrite here.
Did I have the Patriots with any of these wide receivers?
No, I didn't.
okay, I can say this take with my full chest.
It's hard for me to see
the Patriots adding another wide receiver
because they're pretty good
with the diversity of wide receivers that they have.
And they haven't even really gotten
Kyle Williams involved yet. Not at all.
Well, Kisham Booty's hurt, so they're going to
try to get him going. Right, right. But like,
what I'm saying is like he's there.
And then in theory,
long term,
Jalen Polk, no, no, it's
Wait.
Polk's on the Saints. Yeah, Polks on the Saints.
now. God, I keep forgetting that.
The Polks on the same thing. It's weird because he's just being stashed away there while
hurt. Yeah, because he's hurt. And I always
in my head, I was like, you can't trade players who are hurt.
He got hurt early, but then, yeah, you can't.
So he's not there either. All right, the Kyle Williams point stands.
I'm going to stand on that one. Maybe it didn't say it with my full chest, but half the
chess. All right, yeah, anything else on Chris Olbe?
We're going to the next one.
No, let's do the next one, and then maybe we'll do some super chats.
And then we'll fire off some super chats. Yeah, that's good way to do it.
All right, next up, we got Carolina Panthers running back, Chuba Hubbard.
Oh, okay.
All right, Chuba Hubbard, the running back for the Carolina Panthers who signed a decent contract.
What did he sign it for?
I mean, 12 mil.
He signed it four year 33.2 million dollar contract extension with the Carolina Panthers last November.
So trading him would be very, very early on that extension there.
But he has been back from injury the last two games.
Rico Dowdo's outplayed him.
So, do we think that Chuba Hubbard's on the move here for the Carolina Panthers?
And if so, folks, where would you want to see him?
Let's hear it.
Connor, if you're ready, let's do it.
Yeah, I mean, let's, I'm ready.
And then we'll have the combo.
I know a lot of people are like, oh, he's not going to be traded or he isn't,
but there's going to be a lot of players in this list.
So we're going to go through anyone with a non-zero chance.
Yep.
All right.
Cool.
Three, two, one.
All right.
Connor's got the Patriots and Trevor's got the Chiefs.
Okay. So we just flipped. Yeah, we flipped because I had, I had Breece Hall to the Patriots and you had Breece Hall to the Chiefs. And here I have Chuba Hubbard to the Chiefs and you have Chuba Hubbard to the Patriots. So talk to me about that. Yeah, I mean, you nailed it where they don't trust Trayvion Henderson yet. Remandre Stevenson is hurt. Henderson's ceiling is significantly limited in this run game. And Chuba, when healthy, has proved.
to be a really good three-down threat.
I agree with you.
It's just that the reality is Dave Canales is in the business right now
of winning as many games as he can because he has to.
And credit to the Panthers who have been better than most expected this year,
they are leaning into Rico Dowdell because they are highly effective
with Rico Dowdell running the football.
And we saw that turn this week against Green Bay where Rico Dowdell got a lot of the work.
So if they opt to move on from Chuba Hubbard,
and I know everybody in the chat seems to be saying he's not going anywhere.
Maybe there's a lot of different players that you can make that argument for.
The Patriots do need that three-down threat right now if they're not going to trust Trayvion Henderson.
If they, I liked the plan New England went into this year with.
Ramandre as the veteran, Trayvion has an explosive back that's going to slowly, you know,
ramp up his reps over time.
It feels like his reps have only gone up recently by necessity.
They don't have anyone else now that Ramonre's hurt.
But Chuba, I think, would raise the floor of your backfield for a team that as great as Drake May has wanted to be, the Patriots care a lot about running the football.
And you don't have to take Chuba off the field if you need somebody to give you a little help on third downs as well.
Jelly Boy 33 in the chat is saying the Texans make a lot of sense for Chuba if he's available.
I also think that that makes sense because the Joe Mixed injury, I don't really understand what happened.
Like, it was very much.
There's no reason to think he's playing this year.
No, there's no reason to think he's playing this year.
And then, like, if we're moving on to the next year, like, I don't know,
he just missed the whole year with a weird foot injury.
How much faith do you have in him moving forward?
So I wonder if they would consider this, if they'd pick up the phone and they'd feel like
this is more just an investment for the future because it feels like the Texans,
especially, I don't know what C.J. Stroud status is going to be after taking that
really hard hit and being in concussion protocol.
But I think Texans are a good one to think about here.
Ultimately, like, I do agree with most of the chat.
I see you guys, Carolina Panthers fans, we're not trying to take.
trying to take away your good players.
Connor said this to the top,
and I do agree with him.
I don't think the Panthers are really in the business of moving their players.
I think it is much more likely that Chuba Hubbard stays because they're sitting here at
five and four.
They've got a stretch where they play the Steelers and the Falcons next.
And then it's the Niners and the Rams.
They have a buy week.
And then it's Saints,
Bucks, Seahawks, Bucks.
And so like,
the Panthers at five and four,
have to feel like they're in a better spot than maybe even they thought that they would be going
into the season.
I just, and here's the, and here's the other part with the Chuba Hubbard trade or potential
trade.
He was going to be in a two-back system anyways, right?
Like, they just thought that it was going to be him and Jonathan Brooks.
And then Jonathan Brooks got hurt again.
Right.
And so it's Rico Dowdo who steps up.
So all that to say, I'm with Connor.
I don't think he gets dealt, but these are two spots where.
And I like the Texas call it as well.
I really do.
Those are the teams that should at least be calling Carolina to say,
Hey,
Ray Goddala's been pretty good for you.
We'll take that Chuba Hubbard contract off your hands if you want to get out.
And I think the contract part of it is why this is worth the conversation.
But I do ultimately think that he probably does not get moved.
Super Chats.
Super Chat.
Let's hit it. Let's hit it. You first. Go ahead.
All right, this one from Yanni. Thank you, Yanni, for the $5 super chat.
Drake May. Speaking of Drake May, Connor, when are you and Simms going to have the combo about him having May as QB6?
So Sims has already been pretty transparent that I'm pretty sure he's been transparent that he was low on May and he's been super impressed with the mechanical adjustments he made.
Sims is as high as anybody on Josh McDaniels as a coach.
Sims has been around Josh McDaniels a lot in his football life.
So, you know, I'm not going to speak for Chris,
but I'm sure it's a combo we're going to have more of.
And I've worked with Chris a long time.
He's one of my favorite people I've ever met in this industry.
If there's anything about Chris, he is one of the most,
like he came up with self-scout thyself.
So he will, yeah, so like he will,
he will always talk about his misses as much as anyone in the industry,
and I respect the hell out of that.
Josh, a $20 super chat.
I heard Tyler's cooking up a short film about an all special teams episode.
If he's not,
should be i love it you realize that you're saying that means that we then have to watch special
teams guys kickers long snappers here's my top 25 long snappers for the 2026 NFL draft
man the velocity and air time on this guy the r pms that this dude gets just firing it between
the legs is just incredible peter back to reclaim his title of pro peter focus
says Kyle Drake, Kyle Menungai,
May Menungai.
That's how you use your super chat dollars, folks.
William, $5.
Says, is Carolina make a move by tomorrow's deadline
after beating the Packers?
I don't think they make a move.
Because there's sort of so much hanging in the balance for them
of what this off season is going to be.
The coverage unit's playing really well.
The front is playing good.
and run defense. They still need those pass rushers to really step up for them.
The wide receivers are playing good. I think they're getting what they need out of Xavier
Leggett. We've seen what they can be when they go into 12 personnel. The offensive lines playing
well despite having multiple injuries and the running backs are playing well. I just,
I don't think the Carolina is going to make a move. I think you're going to be one of those
teams that just kind of stays where they are, stays the course, sees where they're at at the end
of the year. The next one from Moof, Audrake Estimee walked so Kyle Menungai could run.
I absolutely love that.
Yeah, I agree.
Yeah.
Whisk $5 Super Chat, I think Green Bay should sell Dobbs and Inigbore at the deadline.
Am I crazy?
Dobbs should go for a two to three and Inigbari for a five.
I actually, I'm not going to pretend that I follow everything that's going on in Green Bay.
Dobbs would be the receiver I would trade the least.
I agree.
He's the most consistent guy.
Yeah, and Jordan Love has by far his best production and his best passing grade when
throwing two Romeo Dobbs.
He is the player who I actually would trade the least on that team, especially, especially
with Tucker Kraft now out.
Like if Tucker Kraft is out and if you take Romeo Dobbs off of this team, the volatility is
way too big for what they're passing attack is.
I'm with you all the way, Trevor.
I also think, and this is no shot at you, Wiscoe, I do this too.
We naturally overestimate what players bring back.
Nobody's trading a two for Romeo Dobbs.
And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
No.
But that's just the NFL trade market is so, like, watered down in terms of what you get back.
It's crazy.
So the next one from Carsonel, thank you for this $2 super chat.
When do guests mock drafts?
Usually in March.
We'll start those.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You have to deal with just Trevor and I doing mock drafts every other week for a couple of months.
Maybe we'll start a little earlier.
Yeah, depending on what kind of guess we got.
Bengel's still in the show, Bengal.
Welcome back.
Could very well, once again, be part of the mock draft, the guest mock draft series.
um our sports two at our super chat said thoughts on roger mccreier to the rams i like it you know mccrearer was up and down for the titan so obviously it's not like this big splash move but the rams the rams needed cornerback depth anyways and to be honest with you i like the fact that he's going to the rams because look at what the rams are doing with emmanuel forbes Forbes is like a cast off at this point Forbes is like oh this guy can't play he can't produce and now he's playing well for the rams so i like the move
McCreary. I think whatever McCreary's best is, it feels like we're going to see it in LA.
The McPain train. Thank you for the $5 super chat. As a Brewer's fan, it was inevitable. It happens
every time unless you are the Mets. I'm sure this was during our World Series talk.
Yeah. So I don't fully know what this is in reference to. Maybe to the Dodgers winning.
I don't know. I'm sorry, though, what Pete Alonzo did to the Brewers two years ago.
Yeah, great Peter Alonzo.
$5 super chat.
He says Jonah Coleman over Jeremiah Love.
I don't agree with that stance, sir,
but I'll fight to the death.
You're right to say it.
I don't think anyone loves Jonah Coleman more than me,
and I don't agree with that take.
But, yeah.
Jonah Coleman, though, RB2.
He is a damn good football player.
Brooks Marchant, thank you for the super chat,
will be having my middle school students
watch Joe Alt-Film and Remembrance,
three-page essay on Alt's impact on the play action game,
due Friday. You, sir, is what American needs our teachers to be. Yeah. So thank you for your service.
You know, $5.00 Super Chat. We'll do this one. And then we'll get back to the trade deadline matchmaker.
The bills should go get Rashid Shaheed. They have Shakir and Kincaid for the middle of the field.
Josh needs a vertical threat. So obviously the same exact conversation that we said there with Chris Olavay and why I wanted him on the bills.
It makes sense that Chehid would also be that player, which is a really,
Good segue into the next guy that we're talking about.
We are going to talk about Rashid Shaheed as the next wide receiver here, right, Tyler?
That's right.
Next up we got New Orleans Saints, wide receiver, Rashid Jeh.
I have a Galaxy Brain one for this.
So I'm very, very excited to talk Rashid Jihad.
Also on the bills front, I feel like that was their intention when they signed Josh Palmer to decent money.
But I know he's been banged up.
That's just my two cents.
Okay.
All right.
Let's talk about Rashid Shaheed, chat.
where is Rashid Shaheed going here at the NFL trade deadline?
Three, two, one.
All right, big brain.
We got the Rams from Connor and a big W.
We got the Washington commanders from Trevor.
Correct.
So I'll just say this one really quickly.
The commanders don't have a lot of draft picks, right?
They don't have a second round pick.
They don't have a fourth round pick.
So it would sort of take some creativity to get Shaheed.
But I think the problem is that Terry McLaurin is the only vertical threat that this team has right now,
and the rest of the roster is old and not athletic enough.
This would be very much that you are trading for this player so that he is part of your long-term future.
It has to be.
Their season's done.
That would be my idea here is that I want to go into next year with the receiving option.
being Terry McLaurin fully healthy,
Rashid Shaheed fully healthy,
Jaden Daniels fully healthy,
Bill Kroski Merritt in year two,
the offensive lines a lot more healthy,
and then you've got a diverse group of weapons
sort of behind them that you feel good about.
But this would be a future move.
It would have to be the right deal
because they don't have a lot of draft picks anyways,
but I just don't feel like they have the weapons on offense right now.
Yeah, and for me with the Rams,
I think they're 11.
personnel could be the most dangerous in football. Matthew Stafford, to me right now is the MVP of the
league. I know the odds, understandably, have it Josh Allen, who I have no problem with him being
the favorite. Mahomes and Drake May are ahead of Stafford. Stafford is plus 550. But if the Rams
roll out, Devante Adams, Pooka, Nakua, and the speed of Rashid Shaheed, and their balance of the
run game and what they do at the tight ends, I don't think there's any way to stop them offensively.
And the Rams, very savvy move, have an extra first round pick from the Falcons trade of the
draft. So if the Rams trade a day two pick for Rashid Shahid, who cares? You have two first
rounders. Right. So you're not going to feel losing a day two pick for another player. I hope the
Rams go all in at this deadline. They are one of my favorite teams to watch in the NFL right now.
Kay goes to saying, does he realize that she hit is 28?
I realize that.
This isn't necessarily like a get younger type of a move, but it would be, it's one of these things where I can't totally criticize what the commanders have done over the last calendar year because they were hitting the gas pedal with Jaden Daniels still on his rookie contract.
I'm not ready to just blow all of that up yet.
I'm still, I think that they got hit hard by the injury bug.
clearly they have to be so much better
in the secondary, but I don't really know
if you want to be in a position to just
absolutely blow it up and totally waste
the last two or three years
of Jaden Daniels' rookie contract
with him playing as well as he has the ability to play.
So not necessarily this gets the roster younger type of a thing,
but it is more of, I want to have Rashid Shahid
while he still has that speed to him
for the next two to three years
while Jaden Daniels is on his rookie contract,
because then once you're signing Jaden Daniels to that franchise caliber contract
where he's getting paid a lot of money,
you're totally revisiting how your team is structured anyways.
So that was my thought process there.
But we've got a lot of people who were saying, hey, the bills, the Steelers.
I think that those are absolutely teams that are in play here.
But I have a couple of other names for the Steelers.
The bills get everyone from the chat.
Every player has gotten the bills.
Well, yeah, obviously.
How much help does Brandon Bean need to acquire?
He's way too young for the commander's model.
Maybe that's true.
Maybe that is true.
All right.
Okay.
Who's next?
All right.
Next up, we got Cleveland Brown's tight end, David and Joku.
Okay.
Cleveland Brown's tight end, David and Joku.
All right.
Connor.
Where is David Joku?
potentially going if he gets moved.
Chat, let's hear from you.
Tyler, go ahead.
All right, three, two, one.
All right, Trevor's got the Jags, and Conner's got the Packers.
All right, Packers.
Do I really need to say it?
The Tucker Kraft replacement.
Well, yeah, and Joku plays on the line of scrimmage.
And what you love about Tucker Craft is of why I think he was the best tight end in the NFL this year,
is that he is incredible on and off the line of scrimmage.
And I don't think, credit to Luke Musgrave,
I think he's gotten better as a blocker than I ever thought he would be
because I just did not really like him very much.
I just thought he was kind of just a big receiver that needed so much work in there.
But it allows the Packers to remain who they are by getting David and Joku,
that you can put him on the line of scrimmage.
And I know his grades are really low this season.
He's been hurt a lot.
The Brown's offense is a.
brutal, brutal watch. Harold Fanon has gotten a lot of the receiving work as well.
I think Injoku would be really, really solid in this Packers offense.
And I think he's not Tucker Kraft, not many are.
He's probably not even 70% of Tucker Kraft at Tucker Craft's best.
But it allows you to put him in that role.
I don't hate it in theory, right?
I mean, like him, if you're transporting him from the Browns to the Packers,
I think it makes a ton of sense.
it's it's because he has an expiring contract right he's a pre-agent i believe so so
what do you do next year are you just sort of like renting him for the year because you just want
to try to make a deep playoff run and a super bowl run with him and you're just got you're trying to
sort of like one-for-one replace some of the targets for green bay yeah yeah yeah yeah oh yeah
green bay has to be thinking and i know it's tough to say after yesterday but if you're
internally green bay you're got to be playing for a super bowl this year you just
traded for Micah Parsons.
Yeah.
Like, well, like, if not now, when, when?
I think way too many people are like, oh, it's not time for the Super Bowl contention
yet.
People are so afraid to just say it.
Well, you traded for Michael Parsons.
So yeah, it's time.
Right.
So rentals are okay, especially when you lose.
You can't replace Tuckercraft, but you also can't just throw out what you got on the
roster right now.
You're going to have to do something.
And I think David and Joku is a very good player in this league.
It's just a matter of how healthy he is.
Some people in the chat are talking about the Buccaneers.
I think that he would be fundamentally a good ad for the Tampa Buccaneers.
I just think the bucks are quiet at the trade deadline.
They just don't do a lot of that.
You're right.
Jason, Jason Light just does not like to trade his draft picks.
And why would he when you look at how well he is drafted over the last four to five years?
So I think that the chat is right on in recognizing teams that could use an upgrade at tight end.
but I think they like Kate Otten, and I just don't believe they're going to move a draft pick for a tight end.
Me saying the Jags, I like when this offense is getting the tight ends a little bit more involved.
And they've got Brent Strange, they've got Hunter Long.
If you're adding Dave and Joku into that mix, and he can be that tight end one, tight end two for you,
he could play in the slot, he could play on the line of scrimmage.
He is truly that versatile tight end that Liam Cohen loves to get.
get in there with heavier personnel.
And they've already tried to emphasize multiple tight ends,
even with Hunter Long being the second tight end that they're trying to go after.
So especially with Travis Hunter now down for the next couple of weeks,
Brian Thomas Jr., not playing super well this season.
I think Dave and Joku is a perfect fit for the way that Liam Cohen wants to stay balanced.
Now, they have the Jags traded their first rounder for Travis Hunter.
so they have their second rounder
they have two third rounders
I think
has to be a day three pick
but in expiring David and Joku
but they have two fourth rounders
and then
two fifth rounders I think
so I think they have the day three capital
to move this if they would want to
but I think fundamentally that would make
a ton of sense for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Man, you notice since Brenton Strange went down, you miss them.
Like, watching them, I'm like, damn, Brent and Strange is really good.
So depending on where that injury is at, obviously, for the long term.
And even if you got in Joku, you're still playing with Strange.
I like where your head is at with this one.
I think that this would definitely make sense.
Before we get on to the next player, we're an hour into this, which we just like 40 minutes
late to Tyler telling me to remind people that if you,
you do not subscribe to the podcast, we would love for you to.
We would love for you to be a part of the addicts.
We get to do shows like this and a lot of other things that pertain to NFL draft
prospects, player rankings, the mock drafts, all of that really great stuff.
And we would love to have you along for the ride.
Obviously, you guys see how much we love to chat and doing these live shows.
So if you have enjoyed any of the content that we have done, whether it's this video or videos in the past,
and you aren't subscribed, we would love for you to be a part of the addict.
So appreciate you guys.
Okay.
Who do we got next, Tyler?
All right.
Next up, we got Indianapolis Colts, wide receiver, A.D. Mitchell.
Okay.
A.D. Mitchell, who...
Very interesting.
Sort of on the outside of that lineup that has Josh Downs and Tyler Warren and Michael
Pittman Jr. and now Alec Pierce when he has come back.
So he's sort of just on the outside looking in.
Where do we think could be a good fit for A.D. Mitchell, chat.
Let us know.
I got my helmet right here, so we're good to go.
all right let's counter down three two one all right connor's got the they both got the giants
there it is baby no brainer bagel says literally anywhere else well how about new york you said it's a
no brainer talk to me about it right i am not the biggest ad mitchell guy i think he just he just
drives you nuts with his inconsistencies going back to him as
a prospect. But if they're going to move on from him, this has to be a buy low for a team
because of just said, it hasn't worked there consistently yet. And I think this is a team that's
going to pay Alec Pierce. So I don't know what the role is for Mitchell. For the giant side of it,
it shouldn't cost a lot. It should be a day three pick. And this is an evaluation year for the
giants that have the reps to play him, which is the key right now for Adonai Mitchell. They're
Darius Slayton has not been good.
Obviously, Malik Neighbors is out for the year.
There's so many snaps open in this wide receiver room for Jackson Dart that has been
able to extend plays, but who can he throw the ball down the field to?
So, if this is truly an evaluation year right now, and Jalen Hyatt's done nothing, I see the
chat going off on that, I think that the Giants are a good place to evaluate him.
You're not going to trade for Adonai Mitchell if you're a contender because you can't trust him.
and you're not looking to evaluate a young player
that's been wildly inconsistent
when you're trying to make the playoffs.
The Giants are not.
The Giants are not making the playoffs.
The Giants are trying to help Jackson Dart
as much as possible and figure out
what's in the best interest for the Giants next year.
So, and I'm sure Trevor,
considering we have the same exact team,
I'm sure you're a line of thinking is pretty similar.
Yeah, I think that it is very similar
where it will, I do not think it'll cost you a lot
to go get 80 Mitchell.
I think it's sixth rounder?
Yeah, something like that.
I think that a change.
scenery could be good for the kid. I think that the Giants are in a situation where the rest of
this year is kind of gone, right? You saw that this past week, they just don't have the juice.
No Cam Scataboo, no Malik neighbors. Jackson Dart is out there doing everything that he can.
I have so much respect for Jackson Dart and how he's able to come in and play right away and
he's playing to a pretty good level as a runner and as a passer. He is doing everything that he can
for this team. And he is playing better right out of the gate than I thought he was going to,
hence where I had him ranked outside of my top 100.
So he is playing very well,
and I'll be the first to say that and recognize that from him.
But he just doesn't have enough.
You're right.
Jalen Hyatt has not done anything for them.
Wondale Robinson is an underneath receiver,
and he's a free agent this upcoming offseason.
D. Slateon has not been worth the contract extension that they gave to him.
Go take a flyer on A.D. Mitchell.
Because if you hit it with A.D. Mitchell,
then all of a sudden, you've got Malik neighbors.
You've got A.D. Mitchell.
you've got Theo Johnson at tight end.
You feel decent about that.
And you got Cam Scataboo coming back as well.
Like you feel a lot better about where this is if you somehow hit on A.D.
Mitchell, who is a talented player, just like you said, a frustrating and an inconsistent one.
So I like that move of him going to the Giants.
Some other people out there said the Falcons.
I think the Falcons absolutely need another wide receiver too as well.
Darnell Mooney has not been the player that they have needed him to be.
No.
And I think that we saw that.
We saw that this past week.
with the Patriots where Drake London went nuclear in that game and they still did not have
enough diverse passing weapons. Dude, Drake London went insane in this game. The Falcons were
one for 10 on third down. Ten percent on third down in this game. And they lost to the Patriots
by one. By a missed extra point. And that is how. And that is because Drake London went insane in this
game i could see the falcons wanting to take a flyer on ad michael to see if they maybe have
something there but those are the two teams that i would think of the giants and the falcons yeah i like
the falcons call out a lot not to talk about that game too much but what a weird game the falcons should
lean on play action more than any team in the league and they just don't panics was five of eight for
85 yards off play action like they're this threat of bijan bijan is so good and they just don't
lean into it i don't i don't understand but yeah i would take a flyer on him there
a lot of a lot of a lot of saints thoughts from people in is that a mickey loomis joke or is
i don't know maybe they're maybe they're saying the saints a lot but maybe the thought
process is your trailer's just flashing every single of them all felix just said the saints
the chef has a very good uh sense of he does he does we appreciate him um and of course a great
culinary expertise um yes that's right of content it's you said subscribe how much is the help
does the podcast need that's good that's fair we earned that one damn a lot a lot of help
that was awesome um yeah okay all right who's next who's who's next all right next up we got
Las Vegas Raiders
officer lineman guard
Jackson Powers Johnson
Okay so look Jackson Powers Johnson
is starting for the Raiders
and he is starting at guard
it was a little bit
it was a little bit dicey
the beginning of the year
with them moving him off of the center position
that he plays really well just to play a guard position
that he doesn't play super well
but he has played better at guard
lately ultimately
I do not think that the Raiders are
in the arena of moving on from an offensive lineman that is talented.
But I have seen his name out there enough from people
that I wanted to throw his name into this show,
sort of just for fun to see what the chat thought as well.
If you were thinking of different spots that Jackson Powers Johnson,
who maybe isn't in the best favor of this coaching staff, I don't know.
Where would you want him to go?
So, Connor, if you were ready.
I'm ready.
All right, let's counter down.
Three, two, one.
Conner's got the 49ers and Trevor's got the Lions.
All right.
Connor, 49ers for Jacks Powers, Johnson.
Yeah, so this is a weird one because it's coming off a day
where a day after the 49ers really pushed around the Giants for the run game.
But overall this year, the Niners run blocking and interior play has not been what we're accustomed to.
It just feels like they need more talent.
I know they're starting center and Jake Brindell has been hurt as well.
But even if Jackson Powers Johnson didn't go there to start right away,
this is someone that I would take the upside on as a part of your future for your 49ers team that wants more talent.
And I know they started Spencer Burford at left guard.
I believe they'd been starting Connor Colby there as well, who was a, you know, not a big time prospect last year.
He's been okay this year.
I went back and I went back and I was credit.
He was, he's been okay.
year. But yeah, I mean, all things considered, right, based on expectations. But why would you not
take the flyer on a guy with the talent that J.P.J. has for a Niners team that they know how to
coach up these guys and develop these guys in the run game on the offensive line as good as
anybody. So yeah, this is one to me where you're kind of getting a buy low. That doesn't make a
lot of sense to me if he was moved. And even if he's not starting right away, I would develop him
to start next year. Sam said, SMH, I had no idea. This was an anti-C.J. Stroud
podcast because neither of us picked the Texans to go to. I mean, that is fair. He could
absolutely go to the Houston. Honestly, I have no defense here. Right, right. He could absolutely
go to the Houston Texans. Look, I think the Lions make a ton of sense because not only is
Christian Mahogany now out for a long time, it looks like it could be a season ending injury there
for him. Graham Glasgow is at center. And I think that they really feel the fact that Frank
Ragnow is not in the middle of that offensive line anymore. And Jackson Powers Johnson, in my opinion,
would then get to start at center, which is what I feel as though has been his best position all
along. I know some people in the chat are saying the Ravens, but Ravens has Tyler Linderbombs.
So Jackson Powers Johnson would be traded from his spot where he's a guard to another team where he's a
guard. Maybe they would do that. But I think it's much more likely that if he's going to fetch the value
that the Raiders would even consider trading him, which I don't know what it would be, but it would
probably be to a team that wants to get him in at center. And then if you're the lions,
then you have Tate Ratlidge, then you have at guard, Jackson Power, Johnson, at center.
And then Graham Glasgow, you could put at guard in Christian Mahogany spot. So if they have
the opportunity to do that, I think that that would be nice. But, um, you see, yeah,
Austin's saying in Seattle as well. I think that that's, that's a decent thought process too.
But they, well, they have Zabel, but Zabel's playing guard for them.
maybe yeah you might be honest i think uh i think that could potentially be a spot there for him but
yeah i just wanted to shout his name out even though i don't think he's moving because he is now
starting for them at guard i don't think he's moving but uh if he were to move i think he would make
a hell of a detroit line okay we got two more but we're going to read some super chats before we get

That was a good read.
Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. All right.
Good. Jay Smith. Shout out to my Panthers. We need Max Crosby or Bradley Chope for more pass rush.
Derek Brown needs to be in the DPOI conversation. He's unstoppable. Thank you for the super check, UJ.
I mean, Derek Brown is sick. Derek Brown is awesome. J.C. Horn is awesome. I don't. Every time we get excited for a Max Crosby trade, it feels like the Raiders are like, no, no, no.
No, he'll never move.
He'll never move.
He can't have them.
He'll never move him.
I'm sure Bradley Chubb is available.
You'll never move him because he doesn't want to leave.
Like to,
he's like Raider Nation for life.
Yeah, he's like, I will retire here.
I'll retire.
I actually love that from him.
Not a lot of, understandably,
not a lot of athletes are like that anymore.
I think it's pretty cool.
Alvin Cameras liked that with the Saints, too.
But yes, to QJ's credit,
I think that Derek Brown will not get the love that he deserves in the defensive
player of the year conversation.
I don't think he will win it, but he is, he is truly the anchor and the engine that makes that defense for the Panthers go.
He's awesome.
Chob, the $2 super chat, as he often does getting in the show, Goatmeyer and Caleb, quote unquote, goat Williams, crazy weekend.
Crazy weekend indeed.
Crazy weekend.
Continue to cook, Chav.
Forrest Man 47, thank you.
Anyone else think it's a coincidence?
It's not a coincidence.
Jerry Jones claims the Cowboys made a move and Mike Hall tweets and then immediately deletes trade from X.
Interesting.
Interesting.
Could be.
Could not be.
I can't get inside the mind of a Jerry Jones.
No, it's a dangerous place.
Don't want to do that.
Andrew, an OG addict.
Can't stick around, but curious,
what are the bucks going to do with Kate Otton?
Do they make a move for Andrews or Njoku?
Do they extend him or do they draft one?
I think they're a lot closer to extending Kate Otton than they are drafting his replacement
or going out the trade for his replacement.
I think they like him.
I really do.
Mike Greenberg stayed.
there this offseason right correct they have a plan of how to keep everyone like the best at
it yep so anthony from harlem shout out to you man uh the patriots can have michael clemens for
two first round picks i agree i agree kylan five dollar super chat says for the love of god what
do the charges do to deserve this what is is it just joe alt that's just the joe alt okay
i thought we said something well it's a lifetime it's a lifetime of injuries
Is it just Joe Alt?
You know, listen, Joe Alt's going to be healthy next year.
Ray Sean Slater's going to be healthy next year.
O'Mari and Hampton's going to be healthy next year.
We're going to cook.
We're going to get there.
We're going to get there, Kyle.
Gray Firewolf, 12, thank you.
How much for the paths to trade Gonzales to the Rams?
Two first round picks.
I mean, two first round picks at a minimum.
At a minimum.
Yeah, at a minimum.
They won't do that.
Francesco
Chargers lost you all for the season
O lines a must
Could Evan Neal save his career
by getting traded to L.A.?
Was Mike
Mackay Bechton not good enough for you?
He's hurt
or sick.
We're coming back to the buffet line
after getting a full play to Mackay Beckton
and then you ask for the Evan Neal special.
That's what we're getting in the super chat?
We're coming back for seconds.
Of Evan Neal?
You don't want Evan Neal.
I understand coming back for seconds for prime rib.
But Evan Neal.
But Kevin Neal.
For Evan Neal.
That's a lot.
I don't have a horse radish sauce on the side.
Carsonel.
Thank you for the super chat.
Just dropped a log while eating an uncrustable.
W?
Yes, I washed my hands after Trevor.
Nicely done.
You can't read that on the show?
I'm Ron Burgundy.
I say it every week.
it's up to the chef to decide
what gets starred and what doesn't.
If he stars it, I read it.
If he doesn't, I don't.
Oh, retro $5.00, Super Chat.
What do you think about Chuba Hubbard trade with Rico,
taking the ones now and absolutely bawling out?
Yeah, obviously we've broke it down.
A little bit about Chuba.
I don't think he gets dealt, but Patriots and the,
well, hold on, the Patriots, the Chiefs,
and the chat shout out of the Texans as one of those.
So, Chad Brennan, thank you.
Late to the party, what's the biggest need for the Jags?
And why is it defensive back?
We talked about tight end a little bit for them.
Obviously, getting a corner wouldn't or a DB in general wouldn't hurt.
But maybe like a cheaper corner.
Yeah, they kind of just have to play better, though.
Like they have, they have Monteric Brown.
They have Jerry and Jones.
They have, they traded for Greg Newsom.
Yeah, at some point, like you kind of just have to play better.
That's right.
Breathing Black and Gold says
Who's your favorite Steelers trade fit?
No spoilers.
Oh, me too.
Yep.
So sorry, you got to wait, but I like it.
We're going to get verified on this one.
Maybe.
Ross, $5 Super Chat says,
any offensive tackle help for the charges with all doubt for the year
with the season ending ankle surgery.
I mean,
good offensive tackle being available.
They're never around.
I hate to be that guy, Ross.
Good offensive tackles, they're not available.
Unless, again, you wanted to take a chance on Evan Neal.
Yeah, who we don't even know is busy to tackle anymore.
I don't know, don't know.
We've had multiple Chargers fans super chats asking about Evan Neal as a potential get for the Chargers.
Just shows how in pain they are.
And I feel for you.
Yeah, I'm sorry, guys.
They do.
See, thank you for the Super Chat.
Should the Giants make any moves before tomorrow to help Dart,
or should they continue to suffer?
Well, I said Adonai Mitchell and so to Trev.
So that was the one move that like actually lines up with where they are and the deadline.
And again, like if they wanted to get more aggressive than that,
like if you wanted to consider Olave and then you know that you're going to trade him,
or you're going to extend him, then next year in theory,
you have Malik neighbors, Chris Olave, Cam Scadaboo for Jackson Dart to be able to play with.
So stop there.
All right.
Let's, uh, let's rapid fire through these.
And then we'll do the last two trade candidates.
and we'll see where we are.
Rapid fire through the Super Chats or through the trade?
Yeah, we'll keep going.
We have a good pace.
Okay.
Axel $5.
Is there a player that the Seahawks could trade boy Maffa for?
I don't think they're paying him and they are deep enough to trade him.
Oh, on the edge rush.
Well, teams need pass rush help.
So, yeah, I mean, I think the Cowboys, I think the Cowboys could trade for him.
Colts, Cowboys.
Commanders would have, but I don't.
Yeah, that ship's gone.
Again, unless maybe you're thinking sort of the logic that I had with Shaheed,
but even that is like, ah, maybe, I wouldn't do that for Mafay.
Maybe the Cowboys.
Maybe the Cowboys is my answer to that.
Requetch, Scott, you can make an all pro team of former Jets, maybe for another day.
My heart doesn't have it in me right now, but sadly.
For a $5 super chat, missed a notification for the live.
Can Atlanta trade for a coach that has a win rate above 50%?
you can trade for coaches you can't trade for coaches yeah i think the answer to that question
it has to be yes yeah crimson thank you for the super chat i agree with the trade options for the
bills but how would they pay players like hendricks and elavis she with their current it's a great
question their cap situation is a sardine can right now how tight it is like cap's fake
cap is fake there's always ways to maneuver it push money i don't yeah i don't know
ask mickey lumas yeah it's true it's true um let's see
$10 from Anthony from Harlem reposting Trevor the Pats can have Michael Clemens for
two firsts I love this he's manifesting trade priests to the Phillies get out of here
get out of here full New York accent wait hold on hold on but would you trade
Michael Clemens to the Patriots for two first round picks.
But would you trade Brees Hall to the Patriots for a fourth round pick
if it also meant that Michael Clemens also went to the New England Patriots?
Very good structure of a deal that has me considering it, but no.
Okay.
All right.
Just making sure.
But I thought about it.
Just making sure.
Daniel, thank you for the super chat.
Watching from bed sick, remember folks, it's anti-sikimus season.
your hands feel better buddy that's the worst god everyone's sick around here i'm just like hiding i haven't
i haven't i haven't experienced it yet like with anybody around me you know like and you travel
i do i know avoid avoid the airports just ask if you can go around and get on the plane on the
runway i was gonna say how am i going to avoid the airport you can't go in the airport just ask
i'm there twice a week nope you got to find a different way five dollars
Thank you, later.
Prime dollars from James Lou.
Is there anyone on the commanders that they could sell off with their season being,
uh,
well,
truly cooked now.
Uh,
here's to the live stream while it worked.
Oh yeah,
James love that.
Don't get too,
good,
don't get to too much trouble or do.
Just shows your dedication as an addict.
Uh,
no,
your boss is watching the show too.
They're not going to,
they're not going to come up about the year.
HR is watching the show.
Yeah,
100%.
Uh,
Everybody,
HR loves us.
Is there anybody that the commanders could sell off?
no i don't love it because austin eclers hurt that would be like the one guy where i'm
oh they're not going to trade earths i don't think oh yeah jane daniels and cliff love him like
yeah i think earths is just going to keep playing there until the wheels fall off the bus i don't
think they're trading anybody i can't really think of anybody that they would trade that has like
substantial value i mean like latimore tors acal last night right he did unfortunately yeah maybe
Maybe Frankie Louvue, because there's a lot of teams that need linebacker.
But if they don't have Frankie Louvoo, what do they have?
Bobby Wagner, who's like 37.
Yeah.
So I don't think they're going to make a move.
Chad, thank you for the super chat.
Okay, Jags' biggest need might be an interior defensive line and a new Jugs machine,
so the wide receivers will stop dropping the ball.
I like that.
Nice.
I like that.
I got to upgrade the Jugs machine.
Jeff, $2, $2 super chat, Kalaas Campbell,
to the bucks.
What do you think of that, Treve?
Yeah, he's sick.
Clay's awesome.
Yeah, he's going to play football forever.
Dusk Wolf, thank you for the super check.
Can the Packers trade Matt LaFlor at the deadline for his play calling failures in all seriousness to the Packers?
He need corner more a tight end.
I had them getting David and Joku.
Yeah, you did.
So, yeah.
Two more here before we get back to some of these players.
Sports debated arena, do you think the Dolphins might be desperate enough for corners, O-line, backup QB to give Waddle?
For Russ, Neal, and Deante Banks.
It's a joke.
He's a Giants fan.
Oh, okay.
He's taking out his trash for Jalen.
Oh, man.
This is, by the way, I love this.
Not worse as we went on with the names.
New York Sports Media, New York Sports Radio, this is what the phone call sound like.
Hey, Mike, first time, long time here.
What do you think of this trade idea for the Dolphins?
The Giants get Jalen Waddle and we trade Russell Wilson, Evan Neal, and Deontte Bank.
Thanks. I'll hang up and listen. Thanks, Mike. That's what every sports radio call sounds like.
You don't even have to hang up and listen. We're already cutting you off when you say Deontay and can't even get through banks.
It's amazing. It's amazing. It's entertaining. You've heard a lot of New York radio. I can tell.
Oh my goodness, dude. It's wild.
Yeah, Sam Zimmer. Sam. Thank you for the super chat.
Last super chat here, $2 super chat.
Rieck Wulin,
Jermaine Johnson to the Bears.
Hmm.
That's actually a good segue.
Yep.
Speaking of Rieke Wollin,
next up here, we got the Seattle Seahawks
cornerback, Rik Willen.
Okay.
All right.
Sam's not going to be happy with my answer.
I'm just letting him know right up.
No, Sam's not going to be happy with my answer.
there. All right. Go ahead. Let's hear. All right. Chat, chat.
What, Rick Woolen's been on the trade block for like a month. So I know you got takes on where
their cornerback to Rick Woolen would go. So where's Rick Woolen going? Let's hear. Three, two, one.
All right. Connor's got the Colts and Trevor's got the Vikings.
Don't know. I wasn't going to like my answer. Okay. Colts? Colts trading for a corner. What do we
think, Connor? Yeah, Colts secondary needs help.
obviously they've dealt with injury and struggles and all kinds of things and this would give
them not only depth but a guy that could potentially even start for you at some point um i mean
the colds defense you could argue could use a little more pass rush it could use a little bit more
cover help and rick woolen i mean you see the tough cover grades this year he's definitely a
little bit more name value than actual playing value i think fans love rick wullen because he's big he's
athletic he kind of was a big surprise this rookie year and it's tailed off a little bit under
Mike McDonald's in this system while a lot of other guys have taken off to Mike McDonald's
credit but for the Colts I think they should be kind of monitoring the defensive backs that
become available in this market with with how that secondary has struggled this year despite
the rest of the team playing really well yeah I um he actually played well last night
um he was pretty dominant in the Seahawks uh win over the commanders so
So if that was the last game that he played in a Seahawks uniform, I mean, you went out on a good note.
But yeah, he's just, to me, I agree with you completely.
I think his value in his name and I think his highlights his best moments rather than his consistency.
It's hard to be consistent at corner anyways, but I do think he isn't up and down corner.
Now, I like him for the Vikings because the Vikings have been really up and down in the secondary anyways.
That is an area of their team where they have been trying to get better for a little bit,
for a little while now, obviously incredibly tragic with the death and the passing of
Kyrie Jackson when they drafted him, but like, Rick Wollin is kind of the player that they
wanted in Kyrie Jackson, like this bigger, longer athletic corner.
And so like, if they're still searching for that build of a player, Tariq Wollin does make
sense there.
So they're still struggling at the position.
that was the mold of a player in which Kyrie Jackson was.
And so if they're still sort of searching for that type of a corner and a player,
I think that the Vikings could be interested.
And it's been a rumor that they've been interested for a corner.
It's a really good call.
And I totally had forgotten about that for a while.
It's, yeah, really sad to revisit.
I think this is a player that could very well be moved, by the way.
The amount of teams that need defensive back help and the fact that he's kind of fallen out of
favor there. Although you said last ironically, you might have played his best game this year.
At the end. Yeah, last game in the season and, you know, contract year as well, rental kind of
player. Hunter said Connor nailed it. And I was like, all right, what did Connor,
what did Colin say? And Colin said, Tarek Woolen is the Christian Watson's of Richard Sherman's.
You know what? I mean, it's not insane. It's not, it's not crazy. It's not. It's not crazy.
not crazy. It actually made me kind of
think. Lork said, please stop helping the
Colts. Sorry,
that's it from me. I'm done helping the Colts.
For now. Yeah, for now.
For now.
Um,
yeah, right, who's the last one? Let's go. One more.
One more. Last up. We got
Las Vegas Raiders, wide receiver,
Jacobi Myers. Oh,
okay. That's a good one. All right, Jacoby Myers.
Jacobi Myers, chat. He's been on a block for two
weeks. Looking for a new
had it his way. He would have been traded over the summer.
It would have been traded over the summer. Yeah. So Jacobi Myers, though, I do think is a really
nice wide receiver two, wide receiver three, reliable, kind of an underneath guy.
Yeah. He can go over the middle, can give you those quick catches, get you some yards
after catch. I think he's somebody who keeps the offense on schedule. Where do we think
Jacobi Myers would fit best chat? Let us know. Tyler, count us now.
Three, two, one. Flip them. All right, we got the feelers and the
Steelers. There it is. I forgot that they only have the logo on one side of the helmet. So that's
on me. And the chat largely agrees. Yes. A lot of Steelers here. Listen, this is an offense that
with Aaron Rogers, the ball is out quickly. And yesterday's went over the Colts. It was 2.33
seconds. The yards per attempt was under six yards, despite them winning. Chicoie Myers is an
excellent possession threat. He's reliable. He's smart. Rogers demands a lot of his
receivers. Jacoby Myers would be able to handle all those mental ask of him. And you know where
D.K can play. And it's easy to kind of envision and plug in Jacobi Myers into this offense.
And Jacobi Myers isn't going to cost you what a Chris Alave is going to cost you as well.
So this to me, Trevor, as we both see eye to eye here, very easy fit. This is the exact type of
wide receiver that they need. And I was sort of hoping that that would be Roman Wilson, but it is
clearly not Roman Wilson for them.
So Roman Wilson can I think be a little bit more of the one, two punch is a vertical
wide receiver with Calvin Austin if they're able to get Jacoby Myers.
And to me, he is that underneath guy that they need.
So D.K. Metcalf gets to be the wide receiver one.
Pat Fryer Mute gets to be, gets to have his same role in this offense.
Jacoby gets to be the guy who they need to go to on second and short to grab a first down,
third and short on a first down, or maybe second and long, when they need somebody.
to get them within a third and manageable situation.
And right now they just don't have that other wide receiver on the roster.
And so I agree with everybody in the chat.
A lot of people are saying the Steelers,
a lot of people, Jelly Boy is saying the Patriots, ironically.
But I think that a lot of people are saying that the Steelers make a lot of sense.
So a lot of them agree with this year.
Jeremy is Jacobi Myers Myers.
And I think that that's a good shout out.
Colin is saying let Jack Bess play.
I'm with you.
I agree.
I'm with you.
Jack Bess has got to get involved in this offense, man.
Come on.
I'm so surprised it hasn't happened.
He did not play a snap yesterday.
Andrew said in all caps,
Alan Lazard to Pittsburgh.
Did that actually happen?
It should.
I'll drive.
I'll drive him.
Did that actually happen?
No, it didn't.
Are you sure? Have you refreshed the timeline? Has it happened within the next five seconds?
Twitter is not confirming that. Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry. I didn't. The second that Alan
Lizard got traded, you've got notifications on for anything Alan Lazard. So I should have trusted
you there for that way. Admittedly, I don't have notifications on for any Twitter account.
Oh, neither do I. No. Okay. I guess because you're a sane human.
No. Yeah, yeah. Um, shout out to Coffey for this, who I've followed Coffey on Twitter and
Instagram and YouTube or on TikTok because he's hilarious, but YouTube as well.
But he had a TikTok the other day.
The only notifications that I have on are like ESPN, sleeper, and like the fantasy ones.
And it's like, hey, your player's in the red zone.
And this skit that he had was like, all right, are they going to score?
And they're like, no, they're not going to score.
It's like, all right, thanks.
Thanks for letting me know.
That's a tough way to live.
John O'Cope you for that.
Okay, we've got, we got a couple minutes left here on the show.
If there's somebody that we didn't talk about or like a team, a specific topic, fired off in the chat.
Super chat or regular chat, doesn't matter.
We got two more super chats that we're reading here.
Roe, $2 said, give Jaden Daniels my weenis, meaning the elbow.
The elbow, people, the elbow.
Calm down.
Then he said four and 13.
Tyson or Bain.
Yeah, good plan.
I like it.
Yeah, they could use Rubin Bain so badly.
Their edge pass rushes, it doesn't exist.
Dante, thank you for the $20 super chat.
Love you, Dante.
Why does it make more sense for a losing team to acquire a giraffe pick
instead of players from trades or free agents?
If teams like the Jets want to build for a future quarterback,
why not get some players from other teams?
I think this is a really fair question.
And I think to answer it truthfully, one, totally fair point, if possible.
Two, a lot of the players that are given away for these,
these swap of picks, not all, but a lot, are just on expiring contracts.
So the teams look at it and go, well, if I have to spend money this offseason,
I can't factor them into my compensatory pick formula.
So I'm going to trade them now to get something before I don't get anything.
And obviously, if you're a team like the Jets or you're building, like the Giants,
the Giants are a great example.
We had Adonai Mitchell going there.
You're just, you're looking for guys under cost control, which actually,
it's interesting you bring that up.
The Jets haven't done that on offense,
but they've done that on defense three times this year.
They traded for Joanne Briggs from the Browns.
He's under team control for next year.
Jarvis Brownlee under team control for next year.
And Harrison Phillips,
who's under contract for next year.
So Jets knew they weren't going to be great this year,
but they got three players for their defense for day three draft picks
that they're all going to be a part of the team next year
where they hope to win more games.
So it is a really good idea,
but the supply doesn't often exist.
Yeah, I am.
I am kind of surprised that there aren't more player for just like player trades at this point in time.
Like even like low level, like even like the AD Mitchell level of sort of what we were talking about there.
And like some of the trades that have happened over the last month, where it's it's not like blockbuster deals,
but you're just going to get other players.
I'm kind of surprised that doesn't happen a little bit more.
I wonder if it's just because like teams aren't necessarily working the phones and reaching out.
But there's a lot of scouting that gets done for these players during draft.
class is that you don't draft these guys, but you probably like a significantly more amount of
guys than you have the ability to draft. So if they ever become available, I mean, that's why you
scout the entire class, because if these guys ever hit the market in any way, you maybe want to
put your name in the hat. I am surprised it doesn't happen a little bit more. But when you're
no longer on a rookie contract, that's when it gets tricky because you're agreeing to a monetary
value that you did not agree upon for the player.
And it's sort of like take it or leave it.
And so I think that scares a lot of teams away.
But these players on rookie contracts, yeah, I think the teams are always a little bit
interested in, depending on what the price is.
$2 super chat from Joseph says, who wants Christian Fulton?
Anyone?
I don't know.
Vikings, maybe.
Colts?
Wait, where is Christian Fulton right now?
Is he not still with the Browns?
He is an American professional football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football.
Oh, not the Browns?
What am I saying?
He was drafted by the Titans.
Goes to show you where I've kept up with Christian Fulton since he's been a way.
He was with the Chargers last year.
You missed that.
Yeah, he's, which is wild because he was a second round pick.
I thought Christian Follon was going to be good.
Hand up.
I don't remember where I had him, but I remember we talked like he was a,
But he was talked about a lot in that track.
I liked him.
And it feels like he's just floated around, not doing much of anything.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, that's crazy.
Actual $2.
Where can the Seahawks upgrade?
Again, like, I think the Jackson Power of Sean's trade would be awesome, but they're not going to,
I just don't think the Raiders are going to do it.
It helps that Tori Horton's contributing.
Yeah.
Because you don't even have Cooper Cup yet.
Right.
Like, it's the fact that a Royo is contributing.
JSN is amazing.
That's a weird one.
The Seahawks are really good.
I don't look at the roster and go like, God, you need this.
Yeah.
You're right, Trev.
It would feel like some kind of O-line depth swing.
Yeah, but if you made a move.
Right.
Good for Seattle, man.
Cody's saying, does Tampa do anything before the deadline?
Who would you want them to trade for?
I don't know.
Linebacker is their biggest weakness, but it's not like they're,
there's really a good linebacker that's out there.
Again, like Louvoo, maybe.
We talked about that when we were talking about the commanders,
but even Lou Bo.
Quincy Williams.
But you said the bucks don't really make a lot of trades.
They don't make a lot of trades.
I think Quincy's probably the best.
Can he cover?
Yeah, he's so fast.
He's so fast.
Okay.
Then I think about that.
Because right now I think that Dennis and David are really struggling to cover.
But they still like Dennis.
So they're not going to upgrade a linebacker.
so yeah a pass rusher maybe like a one-on-one passers winner but they're not going to pay
the price for a guy who's going to be worth it i don't think right our guy tony lee again thank you
tony not a trade question but i've been watching a lot of college wide receivers for the jets
just curious how you guys would build out a wide receiver room is there a certain trait that is a
must for you oh is a wide receiver um i have one
strong take go ahead i would never build a wide receiver room of just small wide receiver
sure yeah yeah like no but teams do that the dolphins did it i well the dolphins did it with guys
who run four three flat yeah but there's plenty of teams that don't have any size at wide receiver
and then you pay a premium to go get that i think that i do have a way i'd build a wide receiver room
I need a true perimeter threat that can play above the rim and pressure and block and you have to have at least one wide receiver that is in on the line of scrimmage can block for you X type of a wide beat press yes yeah right yeah and then you build everything else around that sports debate arena just just was like look at the bills kind of all slots they tried getting that guy in keon coleman but he can't get away from anyone right so it's so tricky because there's a pretty
on bigger wide receivers for a reason, but there's also a misrate on them because a lot of
them can't separate. Right. So that's why when you go fine, like this is why T. Higgins got all
that money. Nico Collins, right? It's Mike, I mean, Mike Evans is an outlier. Like I never
want to say, like, go find Mike Evans. There's no Mike Evans. Yeah. But that's why Mike Evans is so
freaking valuable. I would say that separation is the trait that I lean on the most when it comes
of wide receivers.
But even then, like, I love Drake London.
He doesn't really separate.
George Pickens didn't separate a ton when he was at Georgia.
These guys are just monsters at the catch point.
You had just have to be a monster at the catch point.
So I think my answer to that question is the trade is separation.
But when I'm making an exception for you, you have to truly be elite at it.
So, yeah.
Brenda, $5 super chat.
What would, we'll read these two more and then we'll get out of here.
What would be some good players for the Raven?
to target and then tell me what garbage special teams player we actually trade for um man what were
the raiders go for i thought of ravens or ravens ravens i thought about them like maybe
for one of the big wide receivers i was thinking it too and then i was like they're not going to do that
they're not going to do it no they'll just play their guys no i mean can't honestly
maybe a rotational run stopper up front i know they're getting health
But Calais Campbell back, that'd be awesome.
If they're selling him, yeah, I'd think about it.
I don't really know who else.
It's funny how Calais Campbell just fits with every team.
Yeah, of course, because he's an absolute pro.
He's the, because he's the man.
Last one, Sam Zimmer, $2 super chat said, will Chris Greer be a get?
We'll be on the guest mock draft vid.
Not sure we're going to get Chris Greer on the,
I'll try to reach out, but he might say who is this.
Lock draft video.
But we are going to talk plenty about Chris Greer on the Wednesday episode,
which is fix your franchise Miami Dolphins.
We are filling out the content calendar over the next month and a half,
and we've got a bunch of fix your franchises on the books,
but with Chris Greer no longer being the general manager of the Miami Dolphins
and what feels like the first domino to fall in what will be a pretty big organizational rebuild,
we are going to fix that franchise.
So that means that we're going to dive through the roster.
We're going to look at free agent targets.
We're going to look at guys that are going to be on the team next year versus not.
Take a look at the salary cap situation.
of course, do a Miami Dolphins mock draft at the end as well.
We take a deep dive into that team as we do for every single fixture franchise.
And it's going to be a good time.
We appreciate everybody getting on the show live.
It's a lot of fun to have the chat popping for a trade deadline piece.
If you still have trade deadline ideas after the show, hit us up with the comment section.
Over the next 24 hours of the trade deadline is here, we'll go back and forth to you guys as much as we possibly can.
So fire away there.
You can follow the show on all the socials at NFLS.
show you can follow us at tan bay tray at connor j rogers connor anything else before we get out of here one more
thank you zoltz for the ten dollar super chat was extremely shocked last week when demetrius night
junior wasn't on the negative return on investment list after yesterday the whole bengals defensive
rookie draft class might be the worst r o i ever that was before yesterday where bodies were flying around
for the bengals but i think demetri snite has actually been okay and i know yesterday's bad the last two weeks
specifically but linebacker so hard man especially when it's two rookies it's two rookies in the
middle it's two rookies in the middle with him and barrett carter the jets and bears run games
punked the bengals yeah they did they did so i feel you on that um i hope he gets back to how
he looked the first couple games he played so didn't want to miss that one uh football analysis
with just you know ending the show the way that we need to drake drake thank i appreciate
everybody watching and listening for Tyler
Cook Behind the Glass for Connor Rogers. I'm Trevor
Sickena saying thank you guys so much for watching
