Starting point is 00:00:00 Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Thank you. Thank you. Welcome to the opening bell The NFL Stock Exchange podcast. Trevor Sycambe. Connor is here with you guys for another very exciting episode. We had the mock draft on Monday, Connor, which was very exciting because it was the first time that we went live.
Starting point is 00:04:21 We're live here again. The chat's already popping. Can't wait to interact with you guys here once again. But this time for the updated Big Board episode. Obviously, they got a little sneak peek of sort of like mine slash the predictive big board. as we were going through the mock chouts. But now they get to see my official big board, your official big board, side by side,
Starting point is 00:04:41 about five or six weeks into the college football season. Buddy, I'm excited. Honestly, I'm excited just to see your big board. Honestly, like we would have been excited to just see this exercise if we weren't recording a show. So I'm pumped about this one. How are you doing, my friend? I'm still out over the shadow cat.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Oh, brother. I'll never get over it. It's really been bothering me for 48 hours. actually was kind of sad over the last 24 hours that there wasn't that there weren't two kittens run around the house yeah i know i know especially when you got the approval that marvel was okay with it that was the big that was the big thing once you got that oh man you see you see him in that picture he's just big chilling yeah that right next to him that's my dream i'm an animal couldn't even believe this so sorry uh pretty yeah i would have fell for it i just want to back you up here
Starting point is 00:05:31 Thank you. I want to back you up here. This isn't like you're an idiot. Anybody would have fell for that. Well done by Alyssa, but very first here. Somebody in the chat saying, I am AI. Trev is an AI hologram. We said one day the show will just be AI versions of us that will still interact with you guys.
Starting point is 00:05:50 You guys won't know, like the cats. You'll have no idea. I wonder what would give it away, actually. Like what if the humor is slightly? Can you adjust humor? Like interstellar with Tars? Yeah, yeah. He's like, Tars, turn the humor up.
Starting point is 00:06:04 And then he just tells a bad joke. He's like, all right, turn it down. Bump that down to 70%. Sorry. Yeah. We haven't done a live show yet. So people don't actually know if we're AI or not. They just see us on the other side of the screen.
Starting point is 00:06:17 You know, they see you on TV because you're all over the place on TV, which by the way, we did get a comment to, you know, telling people that the big board show was today. Somebody was like, does Connor sleep? Has he seen his wife? Like, because you're all over the place, man. You cover the NFL, you cover college football now, you cover the Mets, you cover the Jets specifically for S&Y. Well, the Jets and Mets seasons don't go to the playoffs, so that helps.
Starting point is 00:06:41 That's your little shortener there. I have started working on Saturdays at a studio, not just from home. So yeah, it's crazy. You can see, I do look a little bit more tired than normal, but I'm okay. I'm fine. This isn't forever. The skincare routine is fantastic. Gotta have the skincare routine.
Starting point is 00:06:59 And it's not like you're not busy. you're a traveling man every single week. So, well, I thought it was coming home to two cats. And you got nothing. And I got nothing. You got nothing. You looked at Marvel and you just shook your head. You're like, just you.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And you're like, just kidding. I'm just kidding. I showed him a picture of the AI cats and then he got sad. All right. So we're here to talk about the big board. So the way that we're going to do it is we're going to run through every single player that we have in our updated top 50s in a manner in which you guys are very familiar with going back to summer scouting.
Starting point is 00:07:26 We'll do it in increments of 10. Connor will go through his and then I'll reveal mine, all that good stuff. And then sort of at the end of the episode, we'll obviously talk about some of the biggest risers and fallers naturally as we have in our top 50 because a lot of the biggest risers are going to be in our top 50. But there's going to be some guys specifically that like I had in my top 50 going into the season that they're not going to be in there. There's a couple of quarterbacks. There's a couple of other notable players that I do want to discuss as, you know, biggest fallers and some guys that are just outside of the top 50 who have been playing well. We want to give that some time as well as we sort of get into y'all's shoutouts to at the end of the show. show but uh conner if you're ready to kick it off i'm ready we could just go straight into it
Starting point is 00:08:06 with your 50 through 41 again quick math right off the dome but we're we're on it today we got to be sharp your starting 10 players that we have for your updated big board let's hear it my friend let's do it 50 kC conception conception let's go baby yeah playmaker these ain't in receivers yeah i got it Right at 50, right at 50. These A&M wide receivers have been really, really good this year. He is draft eligible. Not all of them are. 49.
Starting point is 00:08:37 This is like a funny, I call this like the Trevor stretch. 49 R. Mason Thomas. What her eyes. The best part is, you ready for this? 48, Jennings Dunker. Yeah, baby. Let's go. There is.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Is this Trevor Rowe. 47 is the one I have no idea what to do with right now with Xavier. Scott, because over the summer, I thought he was a first-round caliber defensive back. And it seems like he has a season-ending injury. I saw him on the scooter. And he has a very significant injury. So, like, what are we going to do with that? We've had this happen before, right?
Starting point is 00:09:15 You know, we've had this happen with plenty of players before. And sometimes they fall to the second round because of it, depending how everything goes for them medically at the combine. 46, another riser for me. I love Jonah Coleman, the running back at Washington. and what he's done in the past game this year has elevated him into my top 50. He's always been an absolute bowling ball as a runner. He's like a legit rocked up 230 pounds.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Yeah. Low center gravity. He's a one hell of a football player. By the way, before you keep going, somebody in the chat said, please say position and school as well. So you can see it on screen, but I know there's a lot of people who aren't necessarily like looking at the screen.
Starting point is 00:09:51 There's some audio people. No, that's a really good call out. Very good call out. Hold on. A bunch of people in the chat are saying, no, no, no, this is just Trevor's big board. You're showing the wrong graphic. Wrong big board. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Hold on. That's producer Tyler Cookslander. Yeah. And I'm not going to stand for it. He would never. No, he would never fly the wrong graphic. He was almost flawless with the mock draft simulator the other day. First go around.
Starting point is 00:10:18 When you said almost, do you mean almost because he. When you started yelling at him about clicking the thing? Yeah, it was exactly what the almost was, the 99th percentile. oh my god all right 45 colton hood corner out of tennessee he has been awesome for this defense while they're waiting for jermad mccoy to come back and if they have mccoy back with hood good luck throwing on this team 44 kaden mcdonald defensive lineman for ohio state ohio state replaced seven defensive starters this year and a lot of these new guys show up in the top 50 today that's just how damn good they are it's wild 43 a familiar name in corn
Starting point is 00:10:56 quarterback Lenora Sellers out of South Carolina. I still think he's a bit of a project. That's why I haven't met 43. But his physical gifts and tools are obviously, you know, at a premium that keep him in the top 50. I'd like to just see him take less sacks, get the ball out on time a little bit more. Yeah. You know, so this isn't, by the way, I had him, I believe, in the 30s during summer.
Starting point is 00:11:21 So this isn't, he didn't really move very much at all, the late 30s. 42, a player we talked about during summer scouting, Zion Young, the edge rusher out of Missouri. He's a heavy-handed, stout kind of power, big end. He's not your typical. Like, he's, him and R. Mason Thomas are total opposites of the kind of players they are. And then 41, a guy that's fallen for me is Alabama offensive tackle, Caden Proctor, because I don't think tackle is a great long-term home for him at the NFL with what I've watched. And coming into this year, it was, hey, can you play your way and do the first round as a tackle?
Starting point is 00:11:57 I worry about the foot speed a little bit. I think he ultimately might be a guard long term, but they don't make a lot of dudes this size with this kind of power that get touches in the screen game and off fell, fall back belly dives. It's ridiculous to watch him. Somebody in the chat said, you have his position wrong. It's actually running back for Caden Brock. Or receiver. Yeah. Or screen merchant or Cliff Kingsborough.
Starting point is 00:12:21 screen merchant is what he is. Player comp, Malachi Corley. Oh, no. But 300, but 360 pounds. Hold on. We got a dream bigger than that. I was,
Starting point is 00:12:30 I was thinking it, when Debo Samuel maybe starts to go downhill because he's getting a little bit older, Cliff Kingsbury can just draft him and play him as the underneath guy, you know, in the vertical, you know, screen. Yeah, little shallow crossers and stuff.
Starting point is 00:12:43 100%. 100%. You can't, you can't stop that. There's no chance. $5 super chat. Dan said, hey, thank you for saying your position is cool.
Starting point is 00:12:50 We really appreciate it. You need to give us a super chat, but we do very much appreciate it. Thank you, thank you. And then we got another super chat, $5 super chat. Is this the most perfect hair podcast in podcast history? Look, you said it. I'm not saying it. You didn't, you said it.
Starting point is 00:13:07 If you want to spread the rumors, spread the rumors. Of course, of course. Tell TMZ. TMZ, that's going to be the first. That's going to be the way that we get on TMZ. Look at the hair on this podcast. You'll never believe. the hair on both of these podcasters. It sounds like a, it sounds like an article from the
Starting point is 00:13:25 onion or something like, you listen to these guys from an audio format, but they actually have great hair. People are like, I don't care. Listen to them from an audio meeting. Yeah, don't care what they look like. Um, so from the guys that you just had on there, we'll obviously have some repeat names. I, Zion Young, uh, is actually a player who, um, I guess we could just get into it now. He was one of the guys that I had as one of my biggest risers, because I really didn't see him as a as a big time factor, to be honest with you. Like when we were watching him over summer, you mentioned he's like a bigger, heavy-handed sort of base end.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I thought he might be like a three-four defensive end. And if that's really where his home position was, I was like, I mean, I don't know how valuable that is. I had him at like 194, I think, on summer scouting just because I didn't see a ton of value in what he did. But I've watched him back this year, and though I don't have him as high as you do now, I appreciate that he's winning with a little bit more technique, with a little bit more savvyness. I think that he can play as a 4-3 defensive end and not just a 3-4 sort of like gap eater type of a defensive lineman. So he is now in my top 100.
Starting point is 00:14:37 I think he's like 96 now. I now have him as a top 100 player, not quite as high as you have him, obviously, but I am definitely encouraged about how he has played this. season. Yeah, man. He, he, he has an NFL body. He can take on, you know, all kinds of blocks and not get moved off the ball. It's going to depend how he kind of leans into his pass rush ability. But when you have that kind of baseline, it puts you in a really, really good place as a prospect, because coaches just know exactly what they could trust you to do and they want to work on the rest. So Zion Young, he's in a very good place right now for the draft. Yeah, definitely
Starting point is 00:15:15 agree. And then the only other player that I would sort of talk about, because there's going to be a couple that we've got crossovers for that I know we'll have some conversations about is Jonah Coleman. I like Jonah Coleman a lot. He didn't make my top 50, the only running back in my top 50, spoiler alert. It's Jeremiah Love who will get to at the end of the episode. That guy's decent. talented. Jonah Coleman, he does basically everything that you would want him to do, though. The contact balance is great. You did a great job. winning out a couple of weeks ago, what he could do as a receiver as well. He's got some feciness and pass protection. He's good when it comes to making guys miss in short areas. I just wonder how athletic he is. And that's really the only big drawback I have right now to him not being in my top 50 is I know that this guy is going to be a really solid NFL back.
Starting point is 00:16:08 And when I say that he's not in my top 50, where do I have him? He is not that far behind. Where is Jonah Coleman? I can't find him. Where in the world is he? Where in the world is Jonah Coleman? Where's Jonah Coleman? Oh, he's 58.
Starting point is 00:16:29 There we go. So he's pretty close. Yeah, he's close to the top 50. So he was somebody that I wanted to make sure that I shouted out there. But he does. He does a lot of those things really well. I just don't know how athletic he is. And I guess we'll get to kind of see that as the season goes on.
Starting point is 00:16:44 all right uh you want to do my top 10 now i would i would love to yes okay uh elijah said did trevor just say that coleman's undraftable can we take it easy can we take it yes that's exactly what you said number 50 i've got matteo uiungalale the edge rusher from oregon who i think man he just he plays his ass off man the motor runs hot at all times he's a good run defender he's getting better as a pass rush i don't know if he's going to be this super savvy proficient past rush, but man, this is somebody who really solid just day two player, I think. And he's playing really well this year. So I have him sneaking in at number 50 there.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Max Claire, our boy, tight end one. Fall from Grace here for me. You've given up on him. Is he? Okay, from that response, he is still in your top 50. Yes. He's had a really tough start to the season. Now this past week, I believe he's against the Washington.
Starting point is 00:17:38 No, no, the Minnesota game is the one that they played this past week. he did play a lot better and he popped and I'm trying to tell myself like, hey, he's in an offense with Carnell Tate and with Jeremiah Smith and the target's going to be tough to come by. He is still a good player. But I am disappointed at just the lack of impact that he has had, even albeit through lesser opportunities than what he had at Purdue. I still think he's a top 50 player, but he wasn't quite the guy that the top 20 player, at least in my eyes, that we saw during summer scouting. So I got him at 49. You mentioned Caden McDonald. You have him at 44. I've got him at 48. Didn't watch him over the summer. True Jr. And that's the
Starting point is 00:18:14 reason why. There was really not a ton of tape on him, although last year towards the end of the season, man, he showed you what he could be as a run defender. I think he's got better. I think he's got decent pass rush grades this year. But to be honest with you, Connor, he's got shorter arms. He just don't know if he's ever really going to be the pass rush here you want him to be. Right. But my goodness, there are some takeover plays. with him in the middle of that defensive line. Yep. I mean, there are some goal line stands that this dude is the anchor for.
Starting point is 00:18:49 So if your team needs somebody like that, who has the ability to play with some surprise juice for a nose tackle that has the scouting profile that reads the way that his does, you feel pretty good about it. Chris Johnson, the cornerback from Arizona State comes in at number 47 for me. Is he in your top 50? He is not. Okay. but so he was somebody who is this is his teammate in your top 50 oh or sorry this is uh i'm i'm dumb
Starting point is 00:19:19 i wrote arizona state it's not arizona state it's it's san diego state i was going to say i haven't seen him it's on me that's hand up hand up is san diego state christian hand up san diego state that's not like i'm like i have an arizona state corner in my top 50 it's not him no who's that no i have abney in my in my top 100 and we'll talk about Abney because he is one of the biggest risers that I wanted to highlight. But Chris Johnson's the cornerback from San Diego State, excuse me, who one of the highest graded corners that we have in college football over at PFF. He is playing really well. He's so smooth in coverage. He's, he's got good size to him, but he plays best in that off coverage alignment. He doesn't play a ton
Starting point is 00:19:57 in press, although he certainly can, especially from the slot, which I like, but he times things very well. He's very smooth. The route anticipation is good. And although maybe the vertical speed is a little bit limited for him when he's in trail technique and he's in phase. It's that short area quickness and being able to click and close when he is in off coverage that makes him such a force and has had a successful year. So Chris Johnson, the cornerback from San Diego State, somebody I like a lot. I'm excited to watch him. I have not gotten eyes on him yet.
Starting point is 00:20:24 He's really good. You definitely need to watch him. Elijah Surrath, the wide receiver from Indiana. He's just my dude. Man, he wins at the position in so many ways that are translatable to the NFL game. He's got diverse release package off the line of scrimmage. His feet are so quick. He's good at contested catches, but he doesn't make a living off of it.
Starting point is 00:20:48 I mean, he's just, he wins in those little ways where I'm a big Elijah Sarat fan. Caleb Lomo, the offensive tackle from Utah, is at 45. I still think he's a top 50 talent. I wondered if he would really come out this year and showcase more. I haven't quite seen that yet from him. It's been kind of a down year for the offensive tackle class in general. I got him at number 45. Ian Strong, the wide receiver from Rutgers.
Starting point is 00:21:13 I don't know if he's in your top 50 or not. He's not, but I've watched, you know, I've watched a lot of this offense. I know when we were talking about Callie McMahonis, his quarterback, this is the dude who is on a lot of those the other side of those impressive throws. It's tough to be a contested catch guy at the NFL level and just make your money like that.
Starting point is 00:21:35 But holy shit, man. I mean, this dude converts contested catches and such an incredibly high level. He gives me Duane Bow vibes where it's like, all right, this is what you do, but you do it very, very well. So I'm always cautious to really fall in love with these contested catch guys because I used to, and I got my heart broken too many times, but Ian Strong, he's just so damn good at it. 43 is my boy here, AJ Halsey, the safety for Ellis. Yeah, you've liked him for a while.
Starting point is 00:22:05 He, man, the football IQ that he has, this, in my opinion, outside of Caleb Downs, who Caleb Downs is a little bit different. Like Caleb Downs does a little bit of everything. He's a linebacker. He's a strong safety. He's a free safety. You want to talk about guys that can patrol the back end and especially in those robber rolls over the middle of the field. This dude's got the best tape that I've seen so far this season. I think A.J. Halls, he's legit. I don't think He's as athletic as some of those top safeties that'll, you know, get drafted. Top 20 or first round for sure. But this dude's an absolute stud.
Starting point is 00:22:40 He can play a lot of different roles for you. And when you let him roam over the middle of the field, that route recognition shows up so well. And when he hits you, he hits like a Mack truck. I mean, you feel it. You watch these receivers on tape and you know that they feel it too. Huge AJ Hawley guy. I love what I've seen so far from him this year. David Bailey, the edge rusher at Texas Tech.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I got him at 42, a little bit of a bump up from having him in the 50s. I believe it's where he started. for me. And he's just having a fantastic year. And then Casey Concepcion, baby. I got him at 41. Look, I went back and I watched his NC State stuff from last year because I was like, God, I remember Max and Dalton on the college show.
Starting point is 00:23:19 They really loved Casey Concepcion. We talked about him a lot at Summer Scouting. And I, but I was disappointed. I can't remember where you had him. I'll tell you right now. I was disappointed in him simply because I, I thought he played small. I thought he looked kind of small.
Starting point is 00:23:35 I thought he played kind of small. Wide receiver 11. He was that, okay, all right, all right. So they used him in really weird way. He was almost like a running back half the time there.
Starting point is 00:23:42 They gave him carries out of the back field and then he was a slot wide receiver only. I felt like he didn't have good getaway speed. He'd go down after first contact. This year's totally different. This dude looks bigger. He looks stronger. He looks more explosive somehow against SEC competition now. And I think he's got that big time.
Starting point is 00:24:01 playmaker mentality. Big Casey Concepcion fan. Love him. I think he's, I think he's an absolute stud. So there you go. That is my, that is my first initial 10. Any thoughts there? Number one, I mean, obviously we see Caden McDonald's very, very closely with Mateo, I think he, because we kind of were harsh on him this summer. Like, we were, we were like, where's the high, like, there's a lot of hype. I don't know. Right. He's inched closer to my top 50 as well. He's been excellent for that Oregon defense, without a doubt. I'm excited to watch Chris Johnson. I'll get to some of these other guys in a second.
Starting point is 00:24:38 I love the Ian Strong shout out. He didn't make my top 50, but given that Rutgers pass game, a little bit of love, you know how I feel about it. And I'm still very high on David Bailey as well. And with Max Claire, we'll get to him too, but like I think it was a tough start, but I think he's settling in.
Starting point is 00:24:55 And I also think it's an offense that when they just roll certain games to Carnel Tate and Jeremiah Smith, he can get a little lost in the shuffle. But I think I think the Washington game, I noticed him settle in a little bit more of what I expected. I am going to, the way that I'm watching the NFL right now, where I'm watching so many teams want to win through
Starting point is 00:25:14 tight end passing game and even through 12 personnel, if these tight ends, like, show up on a consistent basis, I'm going to put them up on the big board because it just feels like that's where the NFL is going. So if Max Claire really starts to have a great second half of the season, that's, that's, I'm going to have. have no reservations to bump them up, once again. Before we get to the super chats, you guys who are watching out there, whether you're watching
Starting point is 00:25:37 live or maybe afterwards, if you love this show, if you loved any content that we've done, whether it's this show or whatever it is, and you haven't subscribed yet, I would ask you, please, it's a free and easy way to support the show. We would love for you to become part of the addicts. We'd love to have you in on the chat every single live show that we do on Mondays and Wednesday. This is so much fun for us. And a big reason why is because you all are here for it. So if you've ever enjoyed any sort of content that we're doing, including this episode and you don't subscribe yet, it would mean a lot to us if you do so.
Starting point is 00:26:06 So just wanted to shout that out for anybody who might not be subscribed to the channel yet. Going to some super chats now. Jobs got two super chats in here. One on them's for $2, one on us for $5. Says we need some Luke Goatmeyer talk today. And then once again, Luke Goatmeier, number one on the big board. Connor, you're the resident Big Ten guy here on this job. Are we getting, have we just not said Luke Altmyer's name yet, the quarterback from?
Starting point is 00:26:29 Illinois because we're waiting to say him at number one we're all we talked about him a lot over summer scouting because that's a quarterback show where we go through you know 20 plus players each um he's not in my top 50 i think luke's done a lot of good things this year you know obviously unfortunately the national audience probably'll think of the indiana game too much i think that doesn't paint the picture of his season but he's not in my top 50 right now um and it was really hard for quarterbacks to crack my top 50 like i won't have drew aller in my top 50. You know, Lenora Sellers just made it.
Starting point is 00:27:02 So, yeah, I think also Illinois, like the rest of their season is really interesting. If they can kind of, you know, win the games they're supposed to and only end up having a loss against Indiana and Ohio State, maybe they come with a dark horse playoff team. I know that's tough right now, but Altmeyer's got big games left on the schedule to show what he's got. So we've got another $10 super chat here. And the question is how are we feeling about the depth of this offensive tackle class past the top 50?
Starting point is 00:27:28 any diamonds in the rough or just a rough year in general love the show guys we appreciate the super chat thank you for getting in on the show asking about offensive tackles Connor I've been underwhelmed by this offensive tackle class at the top and sort of as we continue to go on like even guys like Caleb Tiernan Austin Barber I don't know if you still have those guys in your top 50 but glad you brought that up Tiernan was I believe in he was in my top 50 well last time we did it like in the 40s, and he's falling out. Yeah. He's not had the year I hope for.
Starting point is 00:28:01 He's already got short arms, which is always kind of an uphill battle for a long-term tackle. He hasn't been bad, but there's been definitely some hiccups and pass pro. The tackle class as a whole, I guess I can kind of answer that as I go today. It's a lot of guys with traits and tools that are very unrefined right now. Yeah, I would agree. I would definitely agree with that. two guys who might be like Diamonds in the Rough, who as I went through, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:28 the whole top 250 that I have over at PFF.com, Monroe Freeling, the offensive tackle for Georgia, he's a former four star. And I think that he's got, he's got the body type. He's got some good athleticism. And he's got the mentality. Like he is, as they say, and remember the Titans, like a mean cuss. Like he, like he is somebody who wants to bury you when he gets those hands locked on. And so I liked what I've seen from him. He still doesn't maintain the blocks as well as you want him to yet. But I think there's something there with Monroe Friedling, the offensive attacker from Georgia. And then the other one, Brian Parker the second, the offensive tackle from Duke, having him really good year. One of the top highest graded offensive tackles that we have
Starting point is 00:29:12 in the country. Now, I will say this about Parker. He is physically limited. And I don't really think he's a guard and I don't think he's a tackle. I'm not just saying this because Graham Barton did it. I really do wonder if Brian Parker is a center at the NFL level. And if he is, I actually think he could be a pretty dang good one because he's showing really good offensive line tape. I just don't think he has the length to stay at tackle. And I don't know if he's got the frame to have more weight on him to play guard the way that you would want him to. So he is somebody that I wanted to shout out because I did like his tape. I just think that he's probably best at center at the NFL level.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Yeah, it's just not a, I'm with you, just not a big body from what I, you know, I love that he called me the resident Big Ten. Where I got to watch him is when they played Duke this year. So, corn fed, baby. Yeah, when Illinois, when Illinois played Duke. So, and, you know, obviously that's a game that has, there's good players in the front seven of Illinois, including Gabe Accus and a couple other guys.
Starting point is 00:30:13 So, yeah, I'm with you. The body type, I feels like he's maybe 300. Yeah, and if you want to play guard at the NFL level, I guess you could play a zone blocking scheme and being a little bit lighter, but again, you'd want the length for that if you're really trying to move the line of scrimmage and everything. The NFL will find a place for him.
Starting point is 00:30:35 He's got it. I think so, too. We got another super chat here. Handsom R7, $5 said budgeting right now. So here's five bucks. Thanks for the... Thank you for anything, guys. Oh, man, we appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Yeah, you guys don't have to do that. We don't expect these. We really appreciate it. Ben is saying, I expect Jake Gyllenhaal to be top 25 if Trevor Stapb still hasn't seen the film on him, would have expected him to have made more of an effort now, but with how Connor was embarrassed with him over summer scouting. It's true. I was about to say, maybe I could watch a Jake Gyllenhaal movie a week.
Starting point is 00:31:09 No, I can't. I cannot do that. You right now cannot do that. I will not make that promise. What have you been watching on your travels? Have you Or have you been a match Brother tape
Starting point is 00:31:19 I was just to say it has to be the tape Has to be the tape Shit You have like 9 million players In this freaking mock draft simulator The hell's wrong with you Touch grass I'm watching
Starting point is 00:31:30 My wife and I are watching The Newsroom Okay On HBO Because I've heard it's a classic I have not seen it I had never seen it as well She ran through it
Starting point is 00:31:38 She loved it And so now Very old Watching it through Yeah it came out in like 2013 I'm six episodes in And it rules So big fan
Starting point is 00:31:45 whenever I get any downtime at all. We're watching that. Elijah, $20 super chat, and then we'll get to your next 10, Connor. He said, not necessarily sure if this is the right time or place, but have you guys watched Jaron, Jaren Kinnak, the tight end from Oklahoma? I believe he leads all tight ends in yards.
Starting point is 00:32:03 He's a former linebacker that got beat out of his starting spot, so we moved the tight end. So funny enough, I have not watched him, but I had a, uh, someone in the industry. There you go. I had somebody in the industry. I was waiting for it. Text me about Jaron Kinnak, the tight end from Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:32:21 So I will watch him soon and I'll get the thoughts out there. $2 super chat. This is the last one. Jetsby and 0 and 5 made me sign up for better health. Well, you know, I feel you, brother. Mental health is important. Therapy is important. However, you get there.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Dante, it says I'm super broke, but I'm going to send a super chat, absolutely $10. Dante, again, thank you. Thank you. We appreciate it. We don't expect these guys. Thank you very much. that, but we do. We really appreciate it. Thank you. Connor, let's get to your next 10 here. Okay, let's do it. I'll get back to the yield. Big board here. This is 40 to 31.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Mari Washington, who made his debut on the latest mock draft, the defensive lineman from Oregon. 39. I still really like Kamari Ramsey, the safety at the USC. This is right where I had him over summer. I just didn't move him. So 38, Chris Bell, wide receiver out of Louisville, size and speed 37 big citrus dominique orange the big nose tackle for iowa state he did drop like 15 or 16 spots for me because i just he's a little limited he's really just and this matters a lot especially in today's NFL but right now he's he's a space clogger a two gapper like his presence matters so much he has not found the part of his game that he's a disruptor right now so but you know as as sacrilegious as it is saying on this podcast he is not in my top 50
Starting point is 00:33:49 anymore just because he is he is pretty limited but i'm glad that you got our producer tyler behind the scenes is losing his mind that i don't have big citrus in my top 50 i'm sorry i feel like the i let the addicts down that's a problem but at least at least Connor is uh we i've got another, I've got another citrus that's in the top 10. There's another citrus. Yeah, there is. Caleb Lamu at 36, the tackle from Utah. You said it, he's really like toolsy right now and potential, but the potential is so high
Starting point is 00:34:19 that I wasn't going to drop him out of the top 50. So, you know, and that matchup against Texas Tech, which more on that in a little bit, it was a tough battle for those tackles. Those guys got a big test early. 35 Garrett and Usmeyer, the quarterback at LSU. This is one where if he's out of my top 50 in a month or two, I won't be floored. I want to know what's going on here. Like, is he hurt?
Starting point is 00:34:46 Is something wrong? He does not look like the guy that put out all that good tape last year. That was a rare floor quarterback prospect, not a great ceiling, but a good floor. Something just doesn't look right physically with Nussmeyer right now. But maybe we will find some stuff out in the future or he just turns his play around. 34 Connor Lou, he's had some hiccups, the center from Auburn. A couple hiccups in pass pro this year against power, but he's still such a dynamic athlete in that position, run blocking.
Starting point is 00:35:18 He's a high level center prospect. 33 Isaiah World, who I think is playing well in this big jump up since transferring to Oregon at tackle for them. I don't think he is playing to his potential, which is a first round tackle right now, but that's kind of expected with the speed bumps that you know going from a higher level of competition and i thought the organ got the organ line played fine against penn state which was their big challenge in that white out game where it's loud you're going against a lot of speed in the front seven of course dante more made some ridiculous plays 32 a j harris the corner at penn state and 31
Starting point is 00:35:53 both of these guys really didn't move denzel boston the wide receiver at washington big body contested catch physical kind of wide receiver for the red zone yeah um Where am I going to start with this one? Amar Washington, I'll talk about him in a second. Chris Bell, I can understand the allure with him. Yeah. Super physically gifted. Going back to Ian Strong a little bit, like right now,
Starting point is 00:36:18 I feel as though Chris Bell wins on contest to catch him because he's super strong or sort of that like yards after catch, like slant routes, things like that where he gets in a ton of space. I don't really see him win cleanly off the line of scrimmage with releases. I don't really see him win as a route runner. And that's really what I want to see from him because I feel like there's a lot of athletic freak wide receivers that come into the NFL that just don't do super well.
Starting point is 00:36:42 But I get why you and a lot of other people are high on him and want to bet on him because he's a crazy athlete. I mean, what is he like 6-2, 6-3, like 225? Yeah, he's so dense. Running away from people. And like the one-handed catching, like catch through contact, like it's there for him.
Starting point is 00:36:59 I'm just a little bit more of a sucker for the separation parts of it. So I'm a little bit lower. He's outside of my top 50. Camari Ramsey is outside of my top 50, but just barely. You notice this? They're playing him in the slot a lot this year. Yeah. Which is not how I would play him.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Not how I would play him. And so I'm a little, I don't really know quite what to think there. He's still in my top 60, but he was just outside of my top 50 because of that. But it is a player who I still, I do still like. That's our game Saturday night now. So I'm very excited to get another look at him. And we have Michigan, USC, and I imagine he's going to be tested in that game. Who else we got here?
Starting point is 00:37:41 Oh, Connor, I'll touch in Garum, and that's my in a second. But Connor Liu, I agree with you. I watch some of the negatively graded plays he's had, and they're there, but the good plays are also still there. Yes. And I love the wide, low base that he plays with. He anchors so easily. I think he's got great grip strength.
Starting point is 00:38:01 he moves to mirror very well he could still move people in the run game and just as a reminder to everybody he's just a true junior so like him having his faults right now totally normal and instead i see the building blocks of somebody who could still be a really damn good starting center at the NFL level so i agree with you he's still a really good prospect now smyer i don't know what to do with somebody in the chat one of the comments said hey i can't confirm like nuss is hurt you see it in his throwing motion and it's like i kind of agree with you, but what am I supposed to do with that? Right.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Because he's, he's, he's a tough watch right now. Not just, and it's not just the arm, like it's the decisions, too. He's putting the ball in the arm's way. What was it? That, that game against Ole Miss, Ole Miss had, I looked this up because I noticed it as I was watching the full game tape for Nussmeyer. old miss had 41 coverage snaps in that game
Starting point is 00:39:02 27 of them came with eight defenders in coverage old miss only rushed three more than half well over half and they basically just said nope we're going to put eight in coverage we don't think you can pick us apart we don't think you're going to check it down enough we don't think you're going to be able to find the hot spots in the zone and he couldn't and he put the ball in harm's way a lot and he really struggled that game now if you turn the if you go back to the clemson game you know what clemson did
Starting point is 00:39:32 clemson blitzed him a good amount yeah and he knew what to do with it he was like okay well if they're blitzing me this guy's hot and that's exactly where the ball went ls you won that game and he looked a little bit better in that one but against old miss man when they had more guys dropping a coverage nussmire got impatient and he just tried to force the football where it wasn't supposed to go and that that really that really worried me with him and so he he is not in my top 50 just because I just don't know what to do with him right now. So I wanted to bring that part up as well. And he's not that big to begin with.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Right. So when you talk about this is one of my like pet peeves of the draft. And I'm victim of this previously. I don't like when people, I get a little bother when people are like, well, yeah, that's only happening because he's hurt. But then you go, well, why is he hurt? Is he hurt by bad luck or is he hurt? And I'm not saying this about Nussmeyer to,
Starting point is 00:40:26 but it's fair to bring up if you're not a a big player to begin with is this now going to be a problem because guess who is faster and stronger and more violent NFL players yeah so yeah I'm I struggled to place Nussmeyer during this exercise when you have these smaller quarterbacks they really have to do a lot very well very consistently there's just such a small margin for error and right now Nussmeyer is just like flirting with disaster I feel like in that regard I should Still very smart, still a gunslinger, still understands defenses, but he's got to play better. I just, I don't think there's any doubt about that. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Let's go to my next 10 that we have here, 40 through 31 for me. Chris Brasel, the widest here from Tennessee, I am reluctant to have this much faith. Fall for it again. In a Josh Heipel, Tennessee. Bill for it again award. Now, now hold on, hold on. Put the pain right on your chest. I did not fall for it with Jalen Hyatt.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Oh, then you're, you're in the clear. So I did not fall for it with Jalen Hyatt. And I was like, look, they put Jailen Hyatt in the stacked alignments, the wide stacked alignments. They put him as the back receiver in the two stack set. He never has to face press. He always gets momentum and he just runs go routes and posts. And I was like, this player is not the receiver that you guys think that he is.
Starting point is 00:41:52 and I think he struggled throughout his NFL career because a lot of that has come true. Brasles is a little bit different. When they run a stack alignment, when they run a bunch alignment, he's the top of the triangle. He's the first player in the stack alignment. He knows how to get off press.
Starting point is 00:42:06 He can get off press with good releases. He's got good sharp cuts in his routes. He can make contested catches over the middle of the field. So a lot of those things I think are there for him. I mentioned in the mock draft, he reminds me of what we saw from Prime Martavis Bryant, when Martavis Bryant was with the Pittsburgh Steelers. And so I, I'm kind of a sucker right now for him as a second round pick type of
Starting point is 00:42:32 wide receiver and we'll see, we'll see how much better he can get. I have Sam Levitt at 39. So I don't have Garrett Nussmeyer in my top 50, but I do have Sam Levitt. And where Sam Levitt is still an absolute wild man, you know, Charlie Sheen style from major league type of wild man, he at least. gives me the physical tools that I would want from the quarterback position, despite him being shorter and smaller, I think he's got a live arm. And he is a great athlete. He is a fantastic athlete. I think he has the highest Russian grade of any quarterback in the FBS, if I'm
Starting point is 00:43:09 remembering correctly, or at least it's up there for him. So I'm still building, I'm still betting on the tools with Sam Levitt. He's still figuring out the decision making part of it. But man, I think this dude can sling it and he's a fantastic athlete. I think he is, he is becoming a lot of sort of like what Bo Nix is this year specifically is kind of the way he's playing right now. And you can see Bo Nix in the NFL sort of figuring it out, trying to ramp it up with being so, you know, risk averse the previous season. So he's got a little bit of that to him.
Starting point is 00:43:38 So I've got him at 39, a player who similar to you when you talk about guys who were hurt and you just didn't know what to do with, Charles Jagu saw from Notre Dame, somebody who I liked a lot coming into summer scouting who he hadn't played it all this year. He was in an ATV accident this summer. He hasn't played. So I don't really know what to do. I feel like I can't really bring him down the board too much, if at all for that. And so I still got him at 38. Lenora Sellers. I have him at 37, which is pretty much in line with where I had him summer scouting. I had him at 39. So he's basically in the same spot. Quincy Rhodes, the edge rusher from Arkansas, extremely physically gifted player. And somebody who, man, when the light
Starting point is 00:44:19 comes on for him. It looks real good. Joshua Joseph kind of the same way at Tennessee, those long arms, that explosive first step. He's a little bit inconsistent still, but man, his good reps look absolutely fantastic. Linebacker, Sonny Styles. I talked about him in the mock draft on Monday. He has really impressed me, man. I already knew that he was going to be a great athlete coming from that safety spot, but he plays with added and plus physicality for playing at the linebacker level. And that's not always a guarantee with those safeties who are converting down to the second level, but he absolutely is one of those guys. And his running mate and his teammate, we'll get up, talk about him in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Ramello Haight, the edge rusher from Texas Tech, wins in so many ways from a finesse perspective. I mean, he is cross chop, club rip, club swim move, inside move, ghost move, a little bit of like a dip and rip to, I mean, just the way that this guy wins with speed is so. so good this season. I don't know how much of a complete edge rusher he's going to be. He is limited to an outside linebacker, three, four type of a front in my opinion. But man, it is tough to deny how good of a pass rusher
Starting point is 00:45:33 and effective of a pass rusher he has been this year. So I got him at 33. Amari Washington, number four on Feldman's freak list going into the season, somebody who has an incredible first step, great speed to power conversion. He's just still kind of figuring it out. So I felt like 32 was a little high, to be honest with you, but it's kind of a freak in what he can do as an athlete. So I had him here.
Starting point is 00:45:56 And then Colton Hood, that cornerback from Tennessee was having an unbelievable year. I got him at number 31 for the ball hawking abilities, the clicking close abilities, who he is as an athlete. He's one of the best cover corners in this class. I think certainly through five weeks of this season. I like it, man. Quincy Rhodes is somebody that I'm even a little higher on. he's been that good. We'll talk about him in just a moment.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Ramello Haight, same thing with him. I think we both see the potential of Amari Washington. There's just too many zero plays right now that I didn't have them higher than 40. But man, the thief, you know, we say it all the time on this podcast, like the five plays. He's got the five plays where you're like, whoa, you're that big and you move like that. It can just take over the backfield like that. I loved your context on Brasel because I totally agree. He is not being used like the typical, I don't want to say stat petting because that's not fair,
Starting point is 00:46:58 but like the Tennessee wide receiver. There are real NFL ask of him right now where he is hovering around my top 50 as well. We got a couple of super chats here. Collins is getting married on Friday, Jersey swap with Connor soon with the. Hell yeah, Colin. Congratulations. The button down jersey swap. Congratulations, Conor, Colin, we love that for you, man.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Slam and Sammy said, I'd be happy if the Jets can draft sellers in the second round. I mean, I think a lot of teams would be happy if they draft Lenore Sellers in second round. I don't know if he's getting there, though. We got $10 super chat here. How much does a team's performance impact a player's draft stock? Three years of good performance and the team goes to pot so everyone's performance stats are impacted. how much can how much can that affect a player's draft spot i mean team performance doesn't yeah i mean like it's correlated because how you play affects how your team plays but you know there's a reason
Starting point is 00:47:58 why we say things like you know wins aren't a qb stat you know wins aren't a wide receiver staff things like that you've got to be able to take away individual talent from how a team is playing but it's it's not like i'm not going to sit here and be like oh no it doesn't matter at all There's no context at all whatsoever there. I mean, it's all, I think, I think every situation is a little bit different. And so it's tough to probably answer that question exactly the way that you would want us to. There's not like a scientific method. I'm not like, oh, the formula is if you only lost four games, this is sort of how I take it into your draft stock.
Starting point is 00:48:29 You really are just trying to watch the tape of that player and how they individually affect the football game. Max Crosby is a perfect example, right? Max Crosby is one of the best defensive players in the NFL. And if you just watch him, you can notice. that despite the Raiders being pretty inconsistent and bad at times over basically his entire tenure while he's there. So that's kind of the perspective that you just have to have with a lot of those players. And Ada goes on the other side of the coin as well, right? There's a lot of times where this one team might be, you know, nine and two or 10 and one or whatever it is. And people are
Starting point is 00:49:03 like, how come you're not talking about this guy is an NFL guy? And it's like, well, the success that you have in college doesn't always correlate to the NFL level. You really have. have to watch the tape for that. So it factors in a little bit on both sides of things, but you're really just watching individually what the player is able to do on his assignment, who he's going up against, what's asked of him from what we can tell and athletic potential, things like that. The NFL is going to find you.
Starting point is 00:49:30 I mean, and this isn't even new. It's gotten better over the years. But I think back to Jamie Collins, Jamie Collins final year at Southern Miss, they were 0.12. Oh, and 12. Oh, and 12. Yeah, I didn't realize they were 0 and 12. Do you know how hard it is to not win a game in college football?
Starting point is 00:49:45 And I think he went 50 second overall, made an all pro, won a Super Bowl, was a great pro. Like nobody was sleeping on Jamie Collins. So it's a really good question. And yes, the right team and system, like to be fair here, I think Sam Levitt a lot is lifted up by Jordan Tyson. That's my take. but there are a lot of people like you that think he is a viable day two quarterback
Starting point is 00:50:16 prospect sam levitt's not just viewed by a lot of people like that because he's on a good team with an elite wide receiver so it goes every single different direction i think um i like both guys and uh and we'll see that uh see that in a little bit um cole breezy is asking hey can you explain why sorry roberton is overlooked Sure Robinson's having a better year than I thought that he was going to. So, like, he is a little bit of a riser for me, but some of the issues that I sort of had with him when I was watching over summer scouting and a little bit of what I've seen this year is he's better under pressure this year, which is good, but he still has his faults
Starting point is 00:50:54 under pressure and when things kind of go off script. And also zone defense, especially off coverage zone defenses. He's really good at identifying when his wide receivers have advantageous one-on-ones, especially against press coverage. He knows how to give his guys a chance, but it's against zone coverages that I felt like certainly last year. And again, a little bit this year, but I've got to really fully dive into his tape to see this that I thought that he struggled with last year. And I'm seeing a little bit in that some of his turnover worthy plays.
Starting point is 00:51:18 So I just wanted to address that one there. Massive super chat for Peter. Oh, my goodness. Thank you very much, Peter. Peter with the 999 super chat. Holy cow. Says, I feel the same way as everyone when I say that I love this show. My favorite draft content and football show, this show makes the drive to and from work enjoyable.
Starting point is 00:51:38 some of the finer things in life is this podcast. I love this show since the 2022 draft, Go Bears, and a thumbs down for Big Tucks. Peter, you are part of the movement. Peter, an ally, an addict. Thank you so much, Peter. Your funds will be used to our war against Big Tux, our underground militia against Big Tux.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Don't give the addict's ideas about an underground militia now. It's already begun. We don't know what they're capable of. appreciate you, Peter. Thank you. Thank you, Peter. All right. Next 10, Connor, let's go. What have we got? All right. Let's fire away. Let me find my next 10 here. That'd be good podcasting. 30. Who you just had? Quincy Rhodes. I mean, the size, the power. Gert. He's got it all on the edge. He really, really does. I did not get eyes on him this summer. and boy, has he just exploded this year for the Arkansas defense.
Starting point is 00:52:39 29, Keith Abney, who I did really like this summer. He's the corner from Arizona State, former roller skater, like legitimate speed skater, as we've talked about over summer. He's had a great year for Arizona State. He's just got very, very sticky coverage skills. He can stay in the hip pocket. He's got enough size and speed. 28, Max Claire, who I think is really going to turn it on for the Ohio State offense.
Starting point is 00:53:04 he started to the last two games. 27, that is Fernando Mendoza. We got a lot, it's all right, not Cernando. It's not like an evil twin. I'm still saying that you messed that one up. When you sent the list over to Tyler, he's still batting a thousand. I'm still saying he's batting a thousand. Yeah, I'll save it that as well.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Sure. Fernando Mendoza, the Indiana quarterback, who's been a riser for me. There was things I liked on the Cal tape, and I think in the Indiana system, He's executing it at a high level. Now, I think there are times where he's not asked to do as much as the other quarterbacks on this list yet, but they are going to be playing enough big games here down the stretch that he will be. So I wish he was a little better of an athlete, but he's a big time pocket passer.
Starting point is 00:53:54 And to be fair to him, too, he's had some big plays taken off the box score. I mean, I think of that throw he made earlier in the season. That was a beautiful deep ball that was dropped by the wide receiver right in his hand. So there's some numbers hidden from him as well. 26, another rising quarterback, Ty Simpson man for Alabama, is just playing phenomenal football. He is very calculated with his aggression right now and can really, really drive throws in the middle of the field.
Starting point is 00:54:22 24, Mansour Delane, the corner from LSU that was a transfer from Virginia Tech, has made a great decision. He's playing his best football there. He had a bit of a bumpy road of a season last year, gave up a lot of touchdowns, just felt like he was either playing too far off and giving too much cushion or he didn't trust himself when he had to press at LSU. He's really got his confidence back and it's been amazing to watch. 24 LT. Overton, the jumbo size edge at Alabama.
Starting point is 00:54:49 This is kind of right where I had him over summer. 23, a guy you just had on your sunny style is the linebacker at Ohio State. The converted safety plays exactly how you'd expect. He just flies around. It's wild watching the middle of that, the middle of that defense. for Ohio State. 22 Romello height. You nailed it.
Starting point is 00:55:06 The edge rusher from Texas, just so many different ways he can win. He is a handful, man. Like if you're on an island with Romelo height, you're in trouble. It's as simple as that. You're in big trouble. 21, C.J. Allen, a player I really liked over the summer.
Starting point is 00:55:20 The linebacker from Georgia is just a menace against the run. He's got the size. He's got the instincts. He'll fly downhill. This linebacker class is very good. It is very, very good. It's a really nice linebacker class. Yeah, this isn't even, I still have more, you know, still left to go here.
Starting point is 00:55:37 But yeah, C.J. Allen's playing really good football for Georgia. Yeah, somebody in the chat was saying, hey, is C.J. Allen like a Roquant Smith level prospect. I don't know as high as Ron Quinn Smith, but to be honest with you, like, that's the archetype. Like, as a run defender, C.J. Allen is really, really good. Now, I still think he's got, he's an elite run defender. I am lower on him just because I don't know what he's giving you in coverage. but like if you need somebody in a three-four scheme and you need one of your Mike linebackers to just be able to be focused on defending the run like you're going to have a ton of value for
Starting point is 00:56:11 this guy and he's absolutely an NFL player through and through it's just a matter of where he's going to get where he's going to end up getting drafted I do want to address this one really quick before I go to my 10 Andrew saying can Trevor tell us why messador ikeem messador the edge rusher from Miami no longer in the pff board I didn't mean to delete him and so but somebody else had pointed that out to me um i basically took him out after my mb florida because i was like no yeah no i'm not helping you raise your stock anymore no we're not doing this no you're a dangerously powerful man i uh i i i'm not sure how he got deleted but it was kind of a good thing that he did because he was way down the board going into the year
Starting point is 00:56:52 and he's having a really good year so he is i will i'm watching him over the weekend and i will get him back in the board at the proper spot of how he's playing this weekend. So that's that's coming there. Just wanted to let everybody know that. Okay. It's just the comments about Peter's super chat are unbelievable, by the way. Brandon, Brandon said Peter is richer than the highest paid Dan Moore. And Peter wrote back, I am Dan Moore.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Oh, man. And then Will Ford said, is Peter also funding the Texas Tech NIL? Dude, I would, I would believe it at this point. because Texas check they got oil money out here maybe this what's going on here Peter is there something you want to tell us this amazing hey look thank you Peter yeah we dude did you see he gave us a $50 he's out of control another one out of control that I can't I don't even know how to thank him I just keep giving him shoutouts at this point he might be big tucks AI bots from big yeah it's an inside job we actually are big tux there's just
Starting point is 00:57:54 kidding no audric gess may or jel and catalan mentioned unless they're in the top 10 of course they're in the top 10 that's why we haven't mentioned you know alfred collins is the same way we got to get to those guys the end of the show you got to stick around from a little bit you know what i noticed yeah go ahead your lights were flickering at the start of the show and since both of peter's super shats came in they are no longer flickering yeah i'm healed by peter's donations that's how that works it saves my electricity he's actively paying my bill super chatting actually means that I can have the lights on for five extra minutes. No, that was not, that was not for me to get you guys to super chat.
Starting point is 00:58:35 It's just a joke, just a joke, but we appreciate it all the same. Ryan gave us a $5 super chat said, from a playstyle standpoint, watching Jeremiah love and Judarian Price feels exactly like watching Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb when they were at Georgia. They're amazing. They're amazing. That's right. We, um, yeah, price is deserve. serves all the love in the world and should not be overshadowed just because he has an amazing
Starting point is 00:58:58 teammate in love it's yeah they are it they're dominant they're absolutely dominant both of them last super chat before we get to my next 10 um five dollar super chat here conner if mityer comes back performs against oh you brutal schedule can he end satan's curse for joe namus soul and save our franchise i can only hope so man i would if if i had to bet on one of these quarterbacks to save the Jets. It's Meteer. It might be Jonathan P. Meteer. Like the.
Starting point is 00:59:33 No idea what his middle name. I was going to say that. I feel like that was a guess. It's Peter now because Peter bought the rights to John Meteer's middle name. That's right. He could change it at his own. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:43 I mean, I'm with you. He's got the little bit of like the Baker energy of, you need someone, whoever is going to dig the Jets out of hell at quarterback. if anyone does it before I die because I'm still waiting. And shout out to Abat 03 for shouting out the name of the curse.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I haven't heard it that it came from Satan, but actually, yes, I have. A lot of people say it was a deal with the devil, blah, blah, blah, yeah. Yeah, hopefully somebody in this group could do it. I'm going to talk about Mateer actually in my next group, so perfect. Yeah, I bet you are. Okay, so me, 30 through 21.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Speaking of John P. Mateer, I got Conor Lou at number 30 to kick us off here. I already talked about Conor Lou. I think that he's a future stud of a center at the NFL level. Francis Maui Noah, the offensive tackle from Miami. Now, this is about 10, 15 spots lower than where he was initially. And I still like him. He's playing really well. He's grading really well.
Starting point is 01:00:49 He's great and really solid. I'm still waiting for those impact run blocking plays from him if they're there. I got to go back and I got to comb through it. But I feel like he's just a very smooth pass protector. He's got the body that's big enough for the NFL level. Are there those difference making NFL offensive tackle plays? That's what I'm looking to see from him moving forward. John Mateer, I have him at 28. Would love for him to come back for the Red River rivalry. God, I almost did it. But it doesn't actually, it kind of sounds like he's going to play this weekend, which would be wild. He's a bad man. He's 18 days after surgery.
Starting point is 01:01:21 And I don't want him to force it when he doesn't have. have to, but this is a huge rivalry. I know he wants to play in it. But I think the kid's great. I think he's a really good quarterback. He's playing really well. And he's playing with a ton of confidence. And there's something about being dangerous when you've got a quarterback that plays with confidence, man. It's such an important part that there's no way to tell whether the quarterbacks are going to maintain their confidence going from college to the NFL level. But look at Mack Jones, man. Look at Mack Jones with San Francisco. He's playing in an offense that he's comfortable with, that he's confident in. And they just beat the
Starting point is 01:01:52 freaking Rams on Thursday night football. That's how much it matters. And Mateer's oozing with confidence in himself and his teammates. And I think that stuff matters. My boy, R. Mason Thomas, his Oklahoma teammate. I got him at number 27, speed demon off the edge. I messed up. I messed up, Connor.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Yeah, go for it. No, I can't. You want me to do it? Yeah, Big Vega. Big Vega. We got Big Vega at 26. I don't know. I can't write.
Starting point is 01:02:19 I didn't write down the pronunciations. Oliva Venga. Yawane. There it is. He's 26. The offensive guard for Penn State talked about this in the mock draft. I think he's a stud. He can be a plug and play guard at the NFL level if there is such a thing that's kind of insulting to trench play at the NFL level. But I really think that he's built for. He's got the lower half for. He's got the power. He's got the leg drive. He can displace guys in the run game. And then pass protection as well. So good with his hands, resetting his hands after initial moves. It's really impressive. Ty Simpson, just balling. What he is doing for Alabama, he looks like a future pro. What I love the most about Ty Simpson is I feel like he is attacking that middle of the field so well, that intermediate middle that you have to be able to attack at the NFL level to have success. He's doing a great job and he's leading that Alabama offense right now. Denzel, Boston, the wide receiver from Washington, I got him at 24, big body dude who has got a little bit more finesse to his game than you would think for a guy who's 6, 3, 6, 6, 4, 210 pounds. Christian Miller, the defensive tackle from Georgia.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I don't know if he, is he in your top, is he in your top 50? Oh, hell, hell, yeah. Okay, all right, all right. I was wondering if I'd be a little bit higher. But this dude, man, he's a great run defender, Connor. And then he just gives you that, you know, fernetic bat out of hell play style when you give him the green light. Yes.
Starting point is 01:03:35 He is, dude, I mean, he is, he is fantastic. And what we have seen this season, I wondered if he would kind of just be that big bodied run defender this year. But he is really taking his game to another level. I got Caden Proctor at 22, full transparency, guard. I got him at 22 as a guard. And Jennings Dunker, we'll talk about him. Obviously, everybody knows that I'm a little bit higher on him.
Starting point is 01:03:58 I have these dudes as guard, but I think that Caden Proctor can be a difference-making guard, a really good player in the trenches at the NFL level. I just think that he might be a little bit limited to play at that tackle spot in the NFL with the foot speed and just the flexibility, just not being able to protect those inside and outside shoulders with the quickness and the twitch that you need when you're going up against the best at the NFL level. Cassius Hald, the edge rusher from Texas A&M.
Starting point is 01:04:25 He's got 30-inch arms. We've never seen it before. Never seen the likes of this before. But damn, he's a good edge rusher. He's such a fantastic player. And I cannot deny three straight years of production from him. And now this being the third and how well he is continuing to play. He's got the moves.
Starting point is 01:04:45 He's got that speed of power. He's not going to win with length. And that kind of is what it is. And he's going to lose some reps because he can't get off the block. because he doesn't have that link that's okay i think he'll give you plenty else uh and be able to stay pretty clean and if those hands continue to move fast like they are right now he can stay clean at the uh the NFL level two the chat just it's hard to i'm listening to everything you're saying wait what
Starting point is 01:05:08 pete yeah they're calling him peter corleone what oh you wouldn't know because you don't watch the godfather i forgot that reference doesn't hit great all right calm down i know the godfather's nickname that's his real name corleone on nickname wait wait wait all right let's let's get to the super chat wait wait wait time out time out you're telling me a shrimp fried this rice yes oh man once peter's latest super chat peter a hundred dollars again he said want to see me do it again, SpongeBob voice. I'm sorry to think Peter, like is, there's an alias here.
Starting point is 01:05:57 Peter, you, you have sent, you have sent two $100 super chats. He says, I do want to have, but they're always sold out. I'm not big enough to host the pod, but I've got grit and heart. I'm going to help the Jets at quarterback as Dan Moore Jr. here. Peter, I will get your information. I'm sending you, I'm sending you two damn hats. I got, I've got, we'll get you the hats. I've got some hats in reserve.
Starting point is 01:06:20 I know that the pitchforks will be out. for that, but they're in reserve for this exact reason. I'm going to get in contact with you. I'll have Tyler get in contact with you. You're getting two hats, my friend. We appreciate you. Holy cow. Peter, you have a logo?
Starting point is 01:06:31 We'll put it on the top right of our show. Brother, I'll do it. He's buying ad space. Peter. Yeah, welcome to the NFL Song Exchange podcast presented by Peter. I'll just get Peter tattooed across my neck. Oh, man. Tino in the check.
Starting point is 01:06:51 That said, Peter is an eight-year-old on his dad's phone. Dude, actually, I'm nervous now. You must be 18 years or older to watch the show. I don't know if that's true or not, but I don't think so. I don't think it is. You cursed more than me today, though, which is plus 800 before the show. If anyone got that wager in. Satan cursed the Jets, so everybody's right, with Joe Namath.
Starting point is 01:07:16 All over the place. You're holding on his dad's phone. Yeah, I, you know. they've often said that this is the fortnight skins of podcasts of NFL boy people have said that NFL saga exchange powered by Peter asked what Peter could do for you somebody said Peter football focus ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I'm gonna read an ad that goes straight into that yeah hold on good idea folks. You can learn more at meetpeter.com. All right. 20 to 11. Top 20. 20, John Mateer, the quarterback at Oklahoma,
Starting point is 01:09:41 who's about to make a courageous return. Hopefully he's truly healthy when he comes back, because I want to see him play at a high level and continue to improve his draft stock. 19, I'm with you, Treb. I love Christian Miller, the defensive lineman of Georgia. He's, you know, it's kind of the opposite of the combo. We have a big citrus where Miller can do,
Starting point is 01:10:00 he's a three-down defensive tackle. He really is. He can disrupt. He can stop the run. I love David Bailey, the edge rusher at Texas Tech. I just think he is so dangerous as a stand-up rusher. Once again, on an island, like his teammate Romello height. 17, T.J. Parker, the edge rusher, Clemson, who we talked a lot about him on the mock draft.
Starting point is 01:10:24 16, Mackay Lemon, the wide receiver at USC, who plays so much bigger than his size, and it's such a good separator. 15, Cassius Howell, just an explosive game wrecker on the edge for Texas A&M. The arm length is an outlier, but I'm okay to roll with it. 14, Francis Malingoa, the offensive lineman at Miami, who I think might, he might be a guard. we'll see. He is playing very well for this unit right now at Miami. But I'm with you. I'd love to see some more like high level run blocking plays. But he's been very steady for this great team this year. 13, Keldrick Falk, another guy like when I think is steady, the big, powerful edge rusher at Auburn. He's got all the size, length, tools. And he's been productive.
Starting point is 01:11:08 He's excellent against the run. He gives you a power element and effort as a pass rusher. 12 carnell tates a riser for me the wide receiver at Ohio State I think I had him at 30 on my preseason top 50 his body control is so special to me he's just getting the opportunity now and Ohio State is leaning on him
Starting point is 01:11:28 once again you just can't teach his body control and his ability to go see the ball win the ball just find the ball over the coverage but he can run away from people as well 11 Kenyan Sadiq the tight end from Oregon that is a very unique weapon and he's bringing the hard hat when they ask him to block you could tell it's it's very personal to him that he wants to put out impressive blocking tape to the NFL yeah there's a
Starting point is 01:11:52 handful of guys that are obviously crossovers yeah having uh cascious how over t j parker man i still have t j parker in my top five so we'll that's spoiler alert but i still like t j parker a good him out. But Cassius out, that's your boy. You've been, you've been high on him and you were, you were so right when we were going into the season, uh, having it. Were you, do you have him top 20? Do you have him around this range? Yeah, I did. I don't think I'm, if I moved him, it was like a spot or two. Yeah. Yeah. So it's a lot closer to where I have him and where I've brought him up to. But yeah, it was a phenomenal call by you getting him up there at that spot. Thanks, a lot of the guys, uh, that we have are sort of repeats here. So I'll just go into my 20 through 11
Starting point is 01:12:36 and 20. I have Spencefano. I still think this can be a really good offensive tackle prospect, but I was worried about how he handled David Bailey and Romelo Hyde. And it just felt as though his weight was sort of a talking point for us when we were going through the offensive tackle episode this summer, because he's right around like 300, 305, I believe. And I think that showed up a good amount against the Texas Tech guys. when they were giving him speed to power, it took him a little bit longer to anchor,
Starting point is 01:13:09 which is not great. And Texas Tech really took away the ability for him to showcase himself as just that mauler and that bulldozer of a run blocker because Utah just didn't have the ability to do that much in that game. And instead, Fano was asked to really pass block against some really good pass rushers. And he struggled. I think him and Caleb Loma really struggled in that game. And until they play some better competition and get some better tape out there against maybe
Starting point is 01:13:31 some guys who are going to be more legit NFL players. it's hard for me to look at that tape or Fano and go, oh, man, yeah, I feel confident about you at the NFL level. So obviously he's still a top 20 player for me. I'm not saying he's a bum. No, that's exactly what I'm saying. He's on draft. Right. You guys are going to take that and run with it. So that's a that's a rat. Yeah, just go with it. Ruin my life. He's still a really great player. But I dropped him down to number 20. Mansour Delane, the corner from LSU, such a good cover corner player. And it seems like I'm just higher on a couple of the corners than you are just in general. Delane is one of them and I understand like he he still has he's he's like he's
Starting point is 01:14:06 he's got a light frame it still takes you know whole body to tackle a guy and slow a guy down but man when you talk about having the ability to flip the hips really run turn with guys be sticky in coverage get those long arms up there for forcing completions he's been doing it at extremely high level this season it's been great to see him live his potential uh I think he's a great cover corner now at 19 Arvel Reese the linebacker from Ohio state. I have him at number 18. Just a predator is the word that I feel like is what I keep coming back to for him because, you know, is he the smoothest in coverage? No, they don't ask him to do it a lot at Ohio State, but he can rush from a stand-up position in the A and the B gap.
Starting point is 01:14:47 He can rush from a hand in the dirt position, you know, against the offensive tackles. He could be, shoot that coffee house splits that he had against Texas was so well-timed and excellent, really good speed to power conversion from him, really good run and chase player when it comes to those drag routes, mesh concepts, passes to the flat, all of that. As a QB spy,
Starting point is 01:15:07 like we saw him in that role against Washington, just an excellent athlete at the second level, which feels like where the NFL is going. So I got him at 18. Dante Moore, the quarterback from Oregon, really big riser, obviously into my top 20,
Starting point is 01:15:21 right next to Cornando Mendoza that we have here at number 16, the quarterback for Indiana. Mendoz has been fantastic this year as well. In my opinion, these are just the best two quarterbacks that we've seen in college football. And to be honest with you, I'm not trying to be hyperbolic about my quarterback rankings, but we went into this season saying that, hey, this quarterback class, it's not set in stone. It's not solidified. It's not like we have these guys who are guaranteed to be top 20, top 10 overall picks.
Starting point is 01:15:50 And so these guys have risen to the occasion. and I'm pretty sure we get Indiana, Oregon this weekend, do we not? I think, yes, yes. That's this Saturday. QB1 versus QB2 on my board, guys who are ranked 16 and 17, Mendoza's got one hell of an arm. He's got the arm for the NFL level. He's a better athlete than a Jared Gough type of a quarterback. But, you know, he plays a similar style of game.
Starting point is 01:16:17 You know, he's a pocket passer, and he's got that rocket of an arm. And now he's really up in his anticipation and accuracy and decision. you're making this season. Dante more pinpoint accurate guy. He's got some extra mobility to him. If he continues to play and throw the ball as accurately and on time as he has this season, he will certainly have a case to be QB1 in this class. I still like AJ Harris a lot, the cornerback from Penn State, who I have at number 15. He really just hasn't been tested much this season. They really haven't thrown the ball his way. And I think the coverage grades are fine, but there's not really a lot of plays for him to bump his coverage grade up because
Starting point is 01:16:51 they're not throwing on the ball. But he's showing he's showing. He's a good run defender, a willing run defender, just like he showed last year as well. I think he's got the frame to be a starting outside cornerback in the NFL, big fan. Cardinal Tate for me is number 14. Caleb Banks from Florida. Again, I didn't really, I don't know what to do with him. He's hurt. He was somebody who was a top 20 player for me.
Starting point is 01:17:10 So I obviously kept him in the top 15 here for what he could do as a run defender and some extra juice that he shows as a pass rusher as well. Aviontorell, the cornerback from that, he's from Clemson, so it shows Ohio State. Ohio State is, you know, good enough of a team where you'd probably think that that would be the case anyways. But Avion Terrell, he's still, he's one of Clemson's defensive players that I think a lot of people watched Clemson this year. And they're like, oh, all the NFL guys are down from Clemson. Not really.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Avion Terrell, in my opinion, still fantastic. He is still a fantastic hell of a football player. I think T.J. Parker is still a hell of a football player. Peter Woods is the same way. he's the offensive side of the ball that's really let them down and just having some letdowns overall as a team. But those guys, turns to their NFL potential, they're still great. Terrell is smaller for a corner, but man, the IQ is there.
Starting point is 01:18:03 The anticipation is there. He's fantastic. And then Keldrick Fulf, the edge rusher from Auburn, still working it out as a pass rusher for him, but who explosive, strong for his body type. He can play as a 3-4-4-defensive end. He can play as a 3-4-3, hand-of-the-dirt-five technique defensive end. And he can win at all three spots. And if he continues to get some pass rush moves down,
Starting point is 01:18:24 you'll feel even better about it. So I've got him at number 11 there. I like it. Yeah, folks, I love Fox effort level with his power while he's trying to refine his hand usage and moves like that. You always get that from him no matter what. And with his size,
Starting point is 01:18:40 that's always going to play. All right. So let's take this thing home. Yep. My 10 to 1. I still have Spencer Fano at 10. fair guys are going to have a not perfect college game and i just i liked him too much this summer listen romillo height and david bailey are NFL pass rushers who i just had both of them
Starting point is 01:19:04 in my top 30 or top 40 so i'm still out of all the tackles in this class i have the most faith and belief in spano as a true right uh fano as a true right tackle nine kaleb banks the defensive lineman from florida i'm with you like he's just been hurt but the tape was phenomenal from watching him summer scouting. And if he comes back healthy and is exactly who he's been, he's very worthy of a top 15 to 20 pick in this draft, even counting all the quarterbacks that'll go ahead of him.
Starting point is 01:19:34 Eight, Jermad McCoy, the corner from Tennessee. We can't wait till he's back. Seven, Dante Moore, the quarterback from Morgan. He is my top quarterback. Yep, nice. I think the quick twitch in the pocket, the accuracy. I think he's a guy that desires to play from the pocket and on script, but when all hell breaks loose, like the whiteout environment,
Starting point is 01:19:52 he can get out of the pocket and make a throw and keeps his eyes down the field to look to make that throw. He throws with touch. He's got velocity. He's 6.3, 206 pounds. I think he's going to play at 220 at the NFL level. He's going to fill out. He's 20 years old right now, 20.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Yeah. It's easy to believe in the upside of Dante Moore. Yeah, I love him. Jeremiah love at 6. I mean, just such a supremely. talented running back at all aspects of the game he can make you miss he could run through you he's catching the ball this year he he he he's such a run finisher like when they get down into the red area he's so hard to tackle forget one on one guys are rallying to the ball and he just keeps his
Starting point is 01:20:36 legs churning but that short area quickness on top of that frame he's and the vision the feel he's got it all he really does five arville rice the linebacker at all the linebacker at all he's Ohio State is, I think my biggest riser on the entire season. I love that you called him a predator. This dude, the box score doesn't justify this dude's impact on the game. He plays every linebacker position for Ohio State, pretty much evenly, all the way from left outside linebacker, all the spots in the middle, right outside. They move them around.
Starting point is 01:21:09 He can rush. He can defend the run. He's got size to take on blocks with violence. He's got instincts. This unit is so impressive, and he's right at the front of it. For Peter Woods, the defensive lineman from Clemson. I know they're having a bad year. I have not seen any drop off from Peter Woods.
Starting point is 01:21:26 Like it's not his fault. No, I really haven't either. I agree with you. Three, Jordan Tyson, my favorite wide receiver from the summer, the wide receiver out of Arizona State. Not only is he still my favorite wide receiver. He's probably my favorite player in the draft, honestly. All the guys that are like our buddy John Ledyard had a really good tweet today
Starting point is 01:21:44 talking about the type of wide receivers that are winning at today's game. you know, whether it's JSN and a Mecca, Abuka, and guys like that, Tyson fits this bill. He's a separator. He's calculated in his routes. He's got body control, uh, concentration. He's got better after the catch this year, which really the last thing you kind of want to see from him. I think he's a superstar. You, you know, how I know that's not true is because John never has good tweets.
Starting point is 01:22:11 Damn. So. Damn. It's like that, huh? Just kidding. Well, he got one. There it is. Everybody's got one.
Starting point is 01:22:19 You run into one eventually. John, I'm just kidding. No, he's serious, John. Don't speak to them ever again. No, I'm serious, but I have to say on camera that I'm kidding, you know, for, yeah, everybody to think that I'm a nice guy and everything. Two, Caleb Downs. Caleb Downs had a moment, the safety out of Ohio State, although you all know him by now. He had a moment in the Minnesota game where he was isolated one-on-one with a tight end in man coverage all the way down the field.
Starting point is 01:22:46 and not only did he match every movement, when the ball was thrown, he was just like he was in better position than the tight end on the play. Happens a lot. And this is someone that he's a lead at sniffing out underneath throws and screens. He's got instincts against the run,
Starting point is 01:23:05 but he's a matchup player. I can go ask him to cover what guys one-on-one in the league. I could ask him to play single high. You could do all these different things of them. And then number one, Ruben Bain Jr., the edge rusher. Miami is a force.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Like when you think like absolute game wrecker, rush the passer, run through you, throw you on the ground, set the edge against the run. Guys that
Starting point is 01:23:29 offensive coordinator just need to make their plan around. Do I have to park a tight end ass right next to the right tackle because Ruben Bain is across from us today? Yeah. Like that kind of guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:39 Love him. Love this player. He's he's the best player in the country. Easily. Easily he has been the best player in all of college football. I know the guys at the college football channel, the PF of college football channel, they've been like, talk about him for the Heisman. Like, worthy of it. He's probably not going to win,
Starting point is 01:23:56 but is Miami awesome? Yes. Is Ruben Bain the best player? Yes. Yes. So he should be on the board. He should be at the ceremony. I'll go pick him up here in New York. Go ahead. I'll do it. Yeah. You got a little service. I'll stand there with an iPad saying Ruben Bain Jr. you hear from me and I'm like yeah I am but I'm actually not the guy hired you want to get in no I'm just a big fan man that'd be weird all right uh my top 10 to start off my top 10 got the one and only little citrus baby I love it Mikey Lemon wide receiver from USC shout at to the chat who gave me the idea of Dominic Orange being big citrus and Mackay Lemon being Little Citrus that we have here in the lemonade stand.
Starting point is 01:24:51 No, you were totally right and I totally agree with what John said when he was like, hey, you got to look at the types of receivers that are winning. And the receivers on that list were Pooka Nakua, Justin Jefferson, Emeka, Buka, Jackson Smith and Jigbo. Like, we're not talking about guys who are built like Julio Jones and Megatron. We're talking about guys who just understand. how to win at the position and going back to summer scouting the whole reason why i had mckeye lemon wide receiver won is because you just he gets it and you say it was so very evident from his tape
Starting point is 01:25:22 that he just gets it he knows how to win at the position with so much more than athleticism but also having athleticism is he the fastest 40 yard dash long speed guy in the draft no and that's why i have tyson above him but just because i have jordan tyson wide receiver one now doesn't mean, I think, any less of Mackay Lemon. He is exactly where he was when we went into the season. Jordan Tyson has just had moments in plays that elevate him into like, all right, I think this dude is also incredibly special in ways that maybe as an athlete, Mackay Lemon isn't quite, doesn't change how impactful McKay Lemon could be at the NFL level.
Starting point is 01:25:57 He's been unbelievable this year. He has a separation stud, and he continues to be that. Jermont McCoy, you mentioned, hope we get to see him soon this season coming back from that torn ACL because I purposefully watched a bunch of corners. I watched A.J. Harris. I watched J. Harris. I watched J.A.N.T.R.L. I watched Mansour Delane. I watched Keith Abney. I watched Chris Johnson. I watched a lot of corners.
Starting point is 01:26:21 And then I went and watched Jermon McCoy. And I went, yep. Still the best one. Still the best. He's still the size, explosiveness, combination that Jermon McCoy gives you. I hope he comes back fully healthy. Jennings Dunker. The offensive guard properly labeled here by Tyler Cook, our producer here, because Dunker plays offensive tackle right now for Iowa.
Starting point is 01:26:45 And if you look at the plays where he loses, they're all because he doesn't really have the feel game or length to play offensive tackle. He's a guard. I genuinely think if you play him at guard at the NFL level, we're talking about a guy who has all-pro potential, potential. I'm not saying he's an all-pro. The second he steps in the NFL, who is? But the potential that this guy has as an absolute ass kicker in the run game,
Starting point is 01:27:10 it feels like Chris Lindschum, like what we've seen from Chris Lynchroom over the last three or four years and how dominant he has been as a run blocker for the Atlanta Falcons. That's the type of impact that I feel like Jennings Dunker could potentially have. Kenyon, Sadiq, the tight end from Oregon, I've got him at number seven. You mentioned it. It's not just the athletic ability and the receiving ability. he's got the blocking ability as well.
Starting point is 01:27:34 He is a three-down, do-it-all type of tight end. And he's going to be one of the younger prospects in the class, I think, as well as a true junior. So he's a stud. So is Jeremiah Love. Just not even close to the best running back in this class with what he is able to do with explosiveness. And I was elusiveness as well, agility, contact balance, who he is as a receiver, like it is just all there for him in where the NFL is. going Jordan Tyson you mentioned as well you got him at three I got him at five he has taken his game to another level this year he is still a fantastic route runner but he is also shown some plays
Starting point is 01:28:13 where Sam Levitt to do exactly what you're talking about he just throws it up and Jordan Tyson somehow comes down I think he has moved from being that fringe wide receiver two wide receiver one type of player for me to this dude's going to be a wide receiver one at the NFL level love Jordan Tyson. T.J. Parker, still a huge T.J. Parker fan. I think he wins with size. I think he wins with length. I think he wins of power. I think he wins of speed. I think he wins a technique. He is still winning in a variety of different ways. Still high run defense and pass rush scores, maybe not as high as we thought could be this season. But I think that's just Clemson season overall in a lot of ways. Him and Peter Woods at three and four on this
Starting point is 01:28:50 ranking with Parker is the edge rusher and Peter Woods, the defensive tackle. They're still absolutely fantastic. You mentioned it. Caleb Downs. He has done absolutely nothing at all to take him off of that top spot. And the reason why he is off of that top spot is simply because Ruben Bain Jr. has been out of this world good as a run defender and as a pass rusher this season. He has been the best player in all of college football. And I agree with you, he is my number one overall player in this top 50 big board update. Of course, we have, uh, Arjigestime, who is prospect zero, Alfred Collins, who is
Starting point is 01:29:25 prospect is double zero for both of us here and and Luke Goatmeyer who is obviously triple zero here at the very top thanks to the super chat let's read a couple of super chats here before we get out of here Brian gave us a $10 super chat he said best podcast on the planet my cousin Julian I look forward to every single episode it's like hanging out with two buddies never stop being you well Brian that is that is the whole vibe of what we want the show to be all about so I appreciate you saying that and I'm glad that you feel that way. Chilmode gave us a $2 super chat. How realistic could four volunteers, Tennessee volunteers in the first round be? Okay.
Starting point is 01:30:37 So, Jermont McCoy, Colton Hood. Brasel. Chris Brasel. Is that it? Who are we not thinking of? Oh, the edge rusher. Oh, Joshua Joseph. Josh Joseph.
Starting point is 01:30:52 I don't think so. No, I don't think all four of them are getting. But it's a testament to that we're having the conversation. Get a couple in. Probably get a couple in. Matthew, $10 super chat this last one. Just got into my first NFLSC live stream. Welcome, Matthew.
