Wait, hold on, wait!
Do you see the Packers?
That's amazing.
That's amazing.
I swear if it lands on Green Bay with this small of a chance, I'm going to lose it.
All right, Tyler, let's do it.
Let's spin it.
I swear if it's the Packers.
Oh.
Oh my God.
God, I felt my life passed me by.
The Chicago Bears, baby.
Welcome to the opening bell of the NFL Stock Exchange podcast.
Trevor Sake and McConnor Rogers here with you guys for another thrilling episode of
Will We Land on the Green Bay Packers for another episode of the Wheel of Mockchap.
Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday week.
However you guys celebrated, hopefully.
uh it was a fantastic week even if you didn't celebrate christmas at all we hope that it was just a
great week for you hopefully you enjoyed the cold open compilation that the chef uh tyler cook
put together for you guys on wednesday uh i watched it myself and uh not to sound too narcissistic
connor but i was cracking up me too reliving some of those memories over the last year so
shout it to everybody who who watched that show that compilation that was a lot of fun for us to do
but uh how you doing my friend i'm good man
And I'm excited to see what the wheel gives us today.
Also terrified that cold open brought like a little PTSD back on where I was in that
moment you could see I was genuinely fearful, genuinely fearful.
I almost texted you guys today.
I was like, make a sliver on the wheel that says fix the jets again.
And then I was like, yeah, people might not enjoy it.
We're going to, no, hey, we're going to do a couple more of these episodes.
We're obviously going to try to get to all of the teams that we didn't do, fix your franchises for.
and Tyler, I know you're listening behind the glass,
feel free to have fun with this, right?
I mean, feel free to have fun with the wheel.
Connor and I, obviously, we did not know
that the Packers' little space piece of the pie
was going to be that small,
which is very hilarious when we saw that live.
So Tyler might throw some curveballs at us
now that we have opened this up
and given him the freedom to do that
because we've had a lot of people be like,
hey, you've got to fix the Jets again.
Hey, can you fix the bucks again?
Like, hey, can you fix this team or whatever?
So it would kind of be funny if we had one or two of those in there.
I think it would be good.
Tony Lee said $100 if you land on the Packers today, by the way.
All right, Tyler, you heard the man.
Change the wheel to where the Packers are the only teams.
I don't need, I don't need, I'll split it even.
I'll split it evenly with the guys.
I don't think it's worth the $33 and change for me.
I don't need it that bad to avoid the Packers, Missouri.
That's protecting your mental health, a very,
important lesson heading into 2026 to be honest with you after some of the football that you
and I have watched in the NFL this year. If this is your first time tuning into the program,
what's up? I appreciate you guys. Join in. We all appreciate you guys joining. Welcome to show,
baby. Welcome to the addicts. We would love for you guys to subscribe to the program. We have a lot
of fun here on this show talking about the NFL, talking about college football, but mainly
talking about the NFL draft. And that's what the topic is here today is we are doing another
episode of The Wheel of Mock Drafts. And so if you were new to this, if you missed last week's episode,
what we're doing in this series is we are taking all the teams that we did not give fix your franchise episodes for we're putting them in a wheel we are spinning the almighty wheel and wherever it lands we are going to do a three round mock draft for that specific team so we'll spend a little bit of extra time on these teams talking about where they are with their head coaches where they are with their roster the options that they could have how many selections that they have in the 2026 NFL draft so we're going to have a good time here
One other housekeeping things that we have before we get going.
Oh, like we said last week, the super chats.
We will read all the super chats that you guys send,
but we will do that in the after the episode part of the program.
So if you're watching live, you can stick on after the episode is done
and you can hear us read off all the super chats.
If you are missing this, if you're not catching it live,
we will post all of the after the episode clips from the week
on a Friday episode that Tyler is making there.
so don't worry you guys will be able to see all that i saw some people say hey we like the super
chats within the show and so just like we're trying to take the feedback to some people who don't
love the super chats in the show we will also take the feedback of the people who maybe miss it during
the show and hey if you guys overwhelmingly are like hey i i'd rather have it in the show then
you guys know this is the show that is uh for the people by the people so we'll listen to you guys
will listen to your feedback we'll keep the super chats at the end of the show for now and the
after the episode. But if you all want us to change back, we can, we can absolutely change back
to it. Yeah, we're open to that. I think also we'll try to find the balance of like, hey,
if there's a really good one that's, you know, topical about what we're talking about,
like I did at the beginning with Tony Lee. Yes. Saying like, hey, land on the Packers,
100 bucks. We'll try to do more of that because you guys come up with some honestly bits and
jokes and topics of this show. You're part of the show, as we always say. Absolutely.
So, oh, last thing, shout out to everybody on the Discord. We love you guys. We've almost got
3,000 people in the NFLSD Discord. If you guys are not in there, we would love for you to be.
It's been a lot of fun, not just in the general conversation, but we've got the, the prospect shoutouts
channel in there. We have a channel for every single team. And so everybody talking about team
building strategies. And, you know, some of you guys have obviously turned the page towards the
2026 NFL draft in the off season, but others of you, you're focused on the playoffs. And so it's
fun, you know, dropping into all those team channels and seeing where all these fans are at. So
Connor if you're ready
I'm ready to spend the wheel
I'm actually like starting
get the shakes
let's do it baby
let's do it
spin the wheel
let's see what the first team
that we were going to draft
for today is let's do it Tyler
that's where it's a lava bit
yeah what do we got are the packers still
okay the packers are still a sliver
they're still small I was wondering if Tyler
was going to troll us and make it like half of the
oh the very needy Philadelphia
oh yeah man you know
that's how you know this isn't rigged
they need so much help
They really do.
The Philadelphia Eagles.
So we're going to get into the mind of a Howie Roseman here.
We're pulling up the PFF mock draft simulator,
which of course you guys can see and you could run for yourself.
If you have a PFF plus subscription, Holiday 30,
gets you 30% off of that PFF plus subscription.
If I do say so, myself here.
Eagles currently picking number 23 in the draft.
So we're simming all the way to the back half of the first round here.
This is where it usually starts to turn the draft is you see Ramello High and
Caden McDonald both go off the board in the picks in front of the Eagles.
So many of the chats had draft them three kickers.
We're going to have to draft them a lot more than that.
Howie Roseman wheel and deal, baby.
They got five picks.
They have five picks in the top 100.
Yeah, they always do.
They're the cop pick masters.
I know.
And think about that they traded a third rounder for Jalen Phillips and they still have this kind of
ammo.
I know.
So how do they do it?
where my mind immediately goes here for 23
Dallas Goddard's a free agent upcoming this offseason
if you don't resign him which it feels like
they might not even though he plays well for them
it's not that he's not playing well
it's just do they want to spend the money elsewhere
do they feel like they could draft the tight end with one of these
five picks in the top 100
it feels as though Goddard's going to be gone
the O line is not what it used to be
no I think injuries are a big reason why for that
but even if you know you're getting lane johnson back next year i think the interior of the
offensive line could use some work here that's where my mind goes initially we got kenyon
sidique from oregon still on the board sitting here at number 23 i don't think that's super
unrealistic connor no no i think he'd be very much in play here now yeah i i agree with you because
you know i was i can't remember who i was talking to about this but sidique
Sadiq's starting to feel a little O.J. Howardish to me.
Oh, how so?
Simply because this is someone who has all the athletic talent in the world.
Good blocker when he's in line, especially for the type of athlete that he is.
Right.
And yet we look at him and we go, why aren't, I mean, they have Dante more a quarterback.
Sure.
And you go, why aren't you producing more?
why aren't you more of a focal point in this offense?
And the reason why I say the O.G. Howard point is because up until this point in his career,
I would say that the production for Sadiq has been underwhelming.
Not that he hasn't had good moments, not that he hasn't shown flash of NFL ability.
I'm not trying to say D.
But the production, the usage, the threat percentage, all of that is lower than I would have
thought for a player who is as talented as he is.
that was the same thing at Alabama up until remember that
what was it, either both the college football playoff games
or maybe just it was that national championship game
where he went absolutely nuclear.
And we were like, see?
Why wasn't Nick Saban utilizing O.J. Howard?
It's crazy. Why wouldn't you do that?
And he drops all the way to 19th overall.
The bucks draft him in 19.
I remember as a Bucks fan thinking that we got the steal of the century.
We got one of the most underutilized guy in all of college football.
You're going to use them on all three downs.
he's going to be a phenomenal blocker.
He's going to be a great receiver for you, all of that.
He's got so much potential.
He's never lived up to it.
It wasn't really particularly great at anything.
No, and after O.J. Howard, I kind of went,
damn, I guess there was a reason why they didn't really give him the ball a lot in college.
I'm not saying it's an exact one-and-one.
But I've started to have that thought with Sadiq since we have now gone a full season
where I thought he would be more involved than he hasn't been.
So would your opinion change if he runs a sub-4-4-5?
Well, what did Howard run?
Oh, boy, not that.
No, no, no.
Howard wasn't even half the athlete that Sadiq is, right?
I don't think at least.
Brother, he was-4-5-1.
He was, yeah, but he was 6-foot-6, 251 pounds.
It's 86 percentile, 44-3.
percentile.
That 451 is 96th percentile for the tight-end position.
His broad jump was 81st percentile.
His three cone was 92nd percentile.
His 20-yard shuttle was 90th.
His 60-yard shuttle was 94th.
And his 22 bench rep, bench press reps was 66th.
30-inch vertical, though, was definitely a letdown.
That's a surprise.
That's a bad number.
But, like, no, I'm not taken away from Howard.
I think
Sadiq
I want to see if I do have his officials
So his officials from spring was apparently
6 3245
Okay
We'll see
We'll see what he opts to do in Indy
If he comes in light and runs
If he comes in heavy and doesn't
So Anthony
I think he's gonna run a
I think he's gonna run like a 4-4-3
So and again like I'm not saying
I don't think that OJ Howard's like my comp for him
No no no you're bringing up a
a situation of being cautious about
tight end prospects. Just really
because of usage, to be honest with you.
And in an offense where you have an elite quarterback
and I just feel like he would have produced a lot better
to be honest with you.
But Anthony in the chat saying that he's sort of like
a Harold Fanon type of a player.
Obviously Fanning goes third round
and Fanon has been awesome.
So if you're just leaning on the athleticism,
that's obviously kind of what you're hoping for.
Wait, wait, wait, what was that?
Can you sneak?
the what, the Trey McBride of something.
Of Dalton Kincaids.
That's actually like, it took me a second, but...
Don't do this, don't do this.
Don't try to rationalize it.
It's not that bad.
Every single one of these, every single one, I go,
yeah, I mean, I can see it.
Honestly, he's Mike Evans, so I don't really have anything else.
That's very true. He is Mike Evans. That's very true.
All right, so are we going to take Kenyon Sadiek or no?
By the way, it is interesting.
This brings up, this is a show about scouting at its core that's really about nonsense.
You know what's fascinating to me is, and there's examples that are bad examples.
But over the last couple of years, two tight ends that I've scouted that have been the most productive in college,
like they were their college offense and they had insane numbers.
Trey McBride and Harold Fanon.
Right, exactly.
Where it's like, it makes you think a little bit.
And I loved McBride.
I didn't love Fanon.
I didn't dislike Fanon, but I'm not going to sit here and tell you I thought fan would already be this good.
So I, to your point, Trevor, going full circle back to the point you were making,
tight end production in college matters. It feels like a lot.
It doesn't mean you can't be good. That's not the point. It's not the point.
But it does enhance your prospect profile quite, quite more than other positions.
Uh, somebody's asking about Bowers. I can't remember what Bowers yards per route run was.
Powers was insane, especially when he was healthy.
Remember he wasn't healthy as last year?
Yeah, let me see.
I feel like Brock Bowers' sophomore year was just like, this is an alien.
Let me, because I think that this is a, you're going to pull up the advanced stats.
Yeah.
His sophomore year, he had 63 catches for 942 yards.
I am curious to hear the yards per outrun, because that'd be a big indicator.
That's what I want to see.
It's also wild.
They gave him the ball nine.
They gave him nine carries.
It's like, what?
It's insanity.
Okay, I'm going to pull up Kenyan Sadiq's, and then where is?
Brock Bowers, here he is.
Okay.
You know, targets are earned, and I think that speaks volumes of the college-tied-end position.
So for Sadiq, I know we're spending a lot of time on this,
but I think that it's a worthwhile conversation, to be honest with you,
because he could very well be the pick here for the Eagles,
and we'll probably have a lot of conversations about Kenyon Sadiq at this spot for a lot of other teams as well.
So Bowers, all three years of his college career, had a yards per route run above 2.3.
And he always had a threat percentage above 20, which is for everybody out there,
threat percentage is basically like wide receiver usage, how often you're being targeted per route that you were running.
It's like the anti-cardio stat.
Right.
Like your routes matter.
Over over the last two years.
So the years in which he has really like gotten on the field, his yards,
per route run has been below two in each of the last two seasons it's a 1.78 this year was a 1.97 last year
and his threat percentage has been below 20% in each of the last two years it was a 17.9 in
24 and an 18.9 this past season. I just thought he'd be more involved. What's the percentile on
him this year? Is that listed with it or no? I can look at it. Hold on. Yeah, I'd be curious what
the percentile is. I like Kenyon Sadiq a lot, by the way. I do think 79th.
That's pretty good. That is pretty good for tight end.
I mean, maybe I'm just having that percentile and then you're probably going to run
sub four, five and have insanely explosive jumps. Yeah. I mean, overall, there's
a more larger combo here of like should the Eagles go with an interior offensive lineman?
You could argue that. By the way, do you think they trade AJ Brown this offseason? Because I feel like
they might um well they had they had quite literally no ability to be able to do that at the trade
deadline because of the way that they do their contracts there if anybody watched our uh fixing the browns
episode they the eagles do contracts very similarly to the way that i don't want to say very
similarly but in somewhat of a similar way to the way that Andrew berry and the and the
Cleveland Browns do contracts.
And that is they will give them like league minimum salaries, but a lot of the rest of
their money is tied up in different bonuses that they can move around when they give
them void years.
And so for the Eagles, if they were to trade him because so much of what his money is
in bonuses, the amount that they would have to pay him and have on their dead cap would be
insane.
So I don't know what it is after this year, actually.
I would imagine it's that time.
like it's movable now i'd be shocked if it was and he's been there a while um okay so if he is traded
if he has traded pre june first uh he is still 20 million of dead cap that they would take on
and if he has traded post june one they would get seven million dollars of cap relief
because of that'll be how it's done pay him the bonuses yeah that's how it'll be done
He'll be a Patriot, Bill, whatever it may be, some AFC team, back in the AFC.
All right, anyways, all that to say.
So with all that to be said, Yawane, guard from Penn State.
I think Awane is also a really good pick for them.
Just such a good pass protector.
They would be a team that has no problem taking Proctor and playing him at guard.
yeah because what are their picks it's 23 and then it's 55 6789 I just feel as though they can get a tight end later and receiver right like this is the O line pick now I would do yeah I would be because of the scarcity of the O line in this draft I would go Vega Oane okay I'm that's made sense to me all right let's take him let's take him all right somebody
I've seen a lot of people. I've seen C.J. Allen's name a bunch in the chat.
And I think people are saying that, I don't know if they're just saying that because of the LOLs of the Georgia.
Well, Nukobi Dean's a free agent. He is, but they just drafted John Campbell.
They're not going to, they're not drafting it. We already, we already did this for four years of the Eagles media linebacker.
And then they finally did it.
Never drafting one.
So I don't think linebackers even in the conversation with them,
given the fact that they have John Campbell.
They're going to lose to Kobe Dean,
but they're very okay with that, I think.
By the way, topical,
you see Connor and Lou is in the draft?
I did.
Yeah.
That, like, nothing ever shocks you in this business
with guys declaring or not declaring,
because it's personal decisions that you don't know enough about.
I've seen everything.
Yeah, I've seen everything.
Yeah, that's exactly it.
But I was like, oh, that's fun for this journey.
he's really good
I think he is awesome
I loved his tape last year
as a center I think going into the year
he's our top center
obviously the ACL tear sucks
but I'm very surprised
he declared me too
I thought he'd go back
be an All-American
and then be a top 40 pick
All right
what are we doing here at 55
wide receiver
tight end
comes top of mine
what do we got a tight end
Danger zone, I agree.
Smash that like button, folks, if you watch the show.
Man, Max Claire, just sitting right there.
I do like that option.
Yeah.
I need to watch Trigg.
I've seen him play on broadcast, but I haven't watched his tape.
I didn't like him a lot coming into the year,
but this year he went nuclear.
Like this year, he's so much crazy plays.
He's so much better as a receiver than I think that he's ever been.
he's really all putting it all together he was at USC and then he was at old miss and obviously
now he's at baylor so he's quite a journeyman but he was a five-star recruit i remember yeah so
i i think they could consider him here here at 67 claire is the their their type for sure
like i don't see them just taking stowers or big christmas and just being like you're a big
receiver now claire's another one that was i very disappointed
with him this year. I thought he was going to be a star, like a borderline star.
Endries as well. Not that I'm necessarily disappointed in how injuries
played from what I've seen. I haven't done the full leave out. We're going to get the
tight ends here soon. But I just felt like the tight end class in general, we went into this year
super excited about it. And production wise, it just felt very
underwhelming outside of Michael Trigg who's been awesome.
what's corner we got in corner they got two of the best in the NFL and yeah and then that
third one is kind of like uh who's out there today I mean Quignan and Dijina are as good as it gets
I know I know and then the number three gets picked on a lot yes because of how good those guys
are and because of how weak they could be there man I I don't know I mean are you lean in
anyway I feel like I might take corner here I don't have a problem with it
if I liked one.
It feels like the third round, though,
is better value for what's left.
So you're saying,
are you leaning taking Claire here,
Max Claire from Ohio State?
Claire.
Hitting the tight end spot.
Are we all the way scrolled up?
I think we are.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, it would probably be Claire for me.
They would,
they would be able to develop him all the way.
He's got all the tools.
Archie in the chat saying,
get Thinaman for the trio of exciting whites.
I mean, that would do it.
The white team secondary.
That would, yeah, that would be the tri-
They just need to trade for Riley Moss.
So off-sides the same, is this a Chandler Rivers team?
I don't know if it is because he's much smaller of a player.
And they just don't normally gravitate towards that.
And not that this is stopping them from taking him,
but didn't they just trade for the same guy and Michael Carter
who's been hurt this year?
I think he's hurt.
But when they traded for Michael Carter,
it was like, that's our small backup slot.
Yeah, he is hurt.
And I feel like Sidney Brown could play a little bit of a slot for you.
I think I'd go, oh, they got Mac McWilliams, too, I forgot.
I don't mind going tight end here.
Yeah, I'd probably go Claire.
Okay, let's do Max Claire.
I think the people might, the people might say, you know,
Michael Trigg, if you're super into how he played this year.
Claire was both of our tight-in ones coming into the season.
I felt like he was pretty obvious for both of us
that he was tied in one.
He's been a little disappointing at Ohio State,
but Ohio State's got Colonel Tate,
they got Jeremiah Smith.
They got some big mouths to feed there.
CJ Daniels from Miami,
we did not have on the early wide receiver rankings.
Oh, CJ Daniels's awesome, though.
No, I'm saying, though, like he's somebody we didn't talk about.
He's a 60-year guy, isn't he?
He is, yes.
He's been around a while, but he's got incredible hands.
what was hold on let me uh let me pull up his scouting report really quick because his numbers are
very impressive big play guy and just like as a contested catch guy if i remember correctly let me see
where are we c j daniels um yeah 100th percentile contested catch percentage over the last
two years not just this year's crazy 82.4 percent that's nuts yeah that is pretty insane he just
wasn't used a lot he's got pretty good separation scores i'm a big cj daniels guy i really do like
him previously played at both ls u and liberty was that liberty specifically for four years
before one year at ls u i mean if you trade a j brown you hope that you can get like a deep
threat contested catch guy and either jacobie lane or daniels
my only thing with daniels is he feels cj daniels is the pat brian of kennedy holidays
no i can't block as well see i'll i'll push back on yeah there you go no actually he's not
he's he's he's skinnier but he's feisty he is feisty i can get him that i like scyther bell
if we're going receiver you like him the most there yeah um well let me pull up the rankings
that we just did it's amazing how quickly they leave your brain i might not hate eli stashore
i had jacobie lane over uh skyler bill sure right i did not no you did not you despised
jacobie lane omar cooper's there i had omar cooper above both of them this is where i get
it's so screwed up on the simulator. I'm like, this is not. I didn't really. See, Omar Cooper Jr.
I do like for this team. Yes. Omar Cooper Jr. would be my top receiver available in this
spot by like a decent margin. I think that he's a, I think he'd be a fringe second,
third round pick. So even though he's ranked where he is on the big board, I think I need to
move him up on the consensus board, to be honest with you. But like 67 is still the spot for him
that I think makes sense. I'd be cool with Omar Cooper. Let's go, Omar Cooper Jr.
okay all right and then let's try to hit corner next uh julian neal would be their type 100% yep
oh man or dude kiante scott yeah scott as the like back up to the gene but also can play
in certain packages because of how physical he is or the eagles just do what the eagles do they get
the total injury discount on xavier scott in two years it's like oh xavier scott should
have been a second round pick they got him at the end of the third that's true
they might do that but i do agree with your take on neal because of the he is their type because of the
physical ability size speed athleticism he's another i think fifth year guy but he played really
well this past season that would be that would be the kind of player they look to always draft
all right let's go julian neal let's go julian neal do we have any picks left one more right we got one more
what do we got here uh i don't mind another o line pick okay
or your boy barnum i like all i like a lot of the guys that were right there like
brian parker um kaden green i think both of those guys can play interior for you
which they love that or barram is is is is is
their type of player, I think. He's
Yes. I think he'd be in that rotation with Jalick's
Hunt as like one of those bigger
edge rushers that they have there. Don't forget. There's a world
where, hold on, let me make sure I'm not just talking out of my butt. Jalen Phillips
is a free agent. Now, the Eagles are,
they're very savvy with the cap and extensions. I'm not saying
they don't get anything done, but they love to have two waves of pass rushers
and somebody always developing behind the guy. So they let Josh
sweatwalk and you know so oh somebody saying that they the eagles don't have um
oh so one of these is the jail and pick is the jalen pick yeah yeah okay so one of these
picks was the dolphins is there stipulations on it is that why we haven't moved it normally
that's why we haven't moved a pick is that there's some sort of stipulations on it
it doesn't say there was oh so we
we just missed it i think they haven't said which one it is huh okay well yeah just as a
two thousand twenty six third round pick uh all right well just use uh just use the simulator
tyler and uh just trade this pick to the dolphins for nothing just because you know we
wanted to succeed in life this is a merry christmas gift to the to the dolphins on the mock draft
simulator and that's that that is the eagles
draft, which is 88 is the Dolphins pick, they said. But I still think that who'd we give
him Julian Neal at 87? We could have got him at 99. Yeah, you could probably get him at 99.
The strategy, I think, remains the same here for the Philadelphia Eagles. Really good
offensive linemen, because I think the offensive linemen are going to go in the first round.
You got a tight end of a receiver options there at 55 and 67, and then 87, which they're saying is
the Dolphins pick. Get 99 instead, you're picking a corner. Julian Neal, Xavier Scott.
Kiante Scott, one of those guys.
Yeah.
The old B-minus from Big Mike, not bad.
I'm surprised, you know, Mike McCarthy all those years facing the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was never going to give us an A.
You knew that that was.
No, no, no.
We're on a curve, a negative curve here.
Right, right, right, right.
Yeah, all right.
Spinning again. Let's do it.
Here it is.
Team number two.
Somebody asked if we have Jacksonville on there,
I don't think we do.
So we'll work on remedying that.
Unless I missed the Jags.
Unless they were just wrong in the chat.
I don't see them.
Oh no.
Yeah, we got to add the Jags.
We'll get the Jags added on there.
Thank you, chat.
All right.
Looks like it's the Seattle Seahawks.
The potential number one seed of the NFC.
Potential.
You poor starving kids.
Rufant praise the wheel.
They have given us the team.
It's a Seattle Seahawks here.
So we're doing a three-round mock draft for Seattle.
this is fun actually doing this for teams that are good.
I know.
The chat gets angry about it,
but honestly,
for us,
it's like a little reward.
Of walking through the muck for a long time,
and then you get to a rest stop and,
like,
they have hot dogs or something.
Nice.
Yeah, good pull.
Good pull.
Oh, hold on.
Sorry.
Sorry.
I got nervous when I saw that.
No, we're good.
We're good.
We're good.
We're good.
We're good.
Line, line.
Okay.
See, I'm actually picking 32 now.
a hell yeah they are
how many picks do they have oh we got all three
we got all three
oh somebody said we might have already done the jags
did we draft for the jags last time oh yeah we drafted for the jaggs last
chat yeah chat you guys you guys got to
you're getting greedy you're getting really you guys got to understand
when the cameras are on we can't think straight
when they're on when the cameras are off we think worse
that's what makes this podcast
what it is the best version of us believe it or not
people are accusing you of recording a movie illegally
no so you know what yeah i'm recording a jillan hall movie that i'm never
it's about time yeah i'm never going to watch it though
i'm just doing that to get you guys off my back
no unfortunately the peel behind the curtain is the fact that uh i have a dsler
the camera that i'm using here and uh
unless i am recording at all
times and I have the recording on, the camera will shut off. It'll just go to sleep.
Yeah. Which is phenomenal design. Let me tell you. Especially for a podcast.
You job. Try I picked the good one. 32, Seattle Seahawks.
Jennings Dunker is sitting right there. We loved Gray Zabel. Let's go get him again.
Let's see. Some free agents for Seattle.
Rashidjeejee, technically a free agent, I think. I think so too.
uh boy mafay kenneth walker josh jove uh coby bryant tarique woolen jake bobo no restrict the free agent okay okay he's not going
they need they need a corner another one i think they will need a corner yeah um because i don't i don't
think they're going to bring back reek woolen i think he'll get you say kenneth walker yes okay i thought you did
Yeah, Kenneth Walker's free agent.
They have Cam Acres, sneaky.
Which is such a weird.
It's very sneaky.
It's weird that Cam Acres is still in the league.
You just forget.
I know.
And then Zach Charbonnet, who takes all Kenneth Walker's touchdowns.
Good for him.
Good business if he can get it.
This does.
This does happen.
Tight ends.
I mean, they've got Elijah Arroyo.
They have AJ Barner.
They love their tight ends.
Right.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm just running through it.
Cooper Cups.
Old.
Yes.
It's, it's, we're getting to the end here.
I would assume that they're going to resign Rashid.
Oh, they haven't used him a ton.
It's been disappointing.
And then I would imagine if Kubiak gets a head coaching job,
he'll sign him wherever he goes.
Because he had him in New Orleans.
Right.
Dylan's saying I'm starting to think Trevor thinks that Jenny's Dunker's the only player
in this draft or Seattle, yeah.
You want to win football games or not?
all trolls aside i think that that's a really good option for them i think brandon cissay as well
for the quarterback he was the name that jumped out right away where i was like if cay goes in the
first round and seattle makes it this far like that's kind of i thought cc's like a top like an early
round two kind of guy right now yeah but yeah right pick 32 you're good no no it's no problem
at all no i mean you wouldn't pick it before pick 33 not not a not a single selection before
Sorry, guys. You've got to trade out and then take him at 34.
So the Seahawks obviously have Nicky Manwori, but he's sort of that safety nickel defender type of player.
He's been very good.
Devin Witherspoon can play everywhere for you.
You can play on the outside.
He can play on the inside.
But then, yeah, you've got Josh Job and Rick Woolen.
If you lose both of those guys, you obviously need another starting outside corner.
If you bring back one, I feel like they'd bring back Job.
But C-Says would make a ton of sense in this team.
It would keep the second area.
really strong with them losing Kobe Bryant potentially in free agency maybe tie
okay to is that he's aasing okay to I think I thought you had it yeah um he's been getting
some playing time so like maybe they're comfortable with him stepping in but perhaps you can
move Nikki Men Worry more to that like safety spot where he can not only play as a nickel
defender but also as a safety for you and your draft and CSA and you feel good about that
I think that's where I'm leaning.
Yeah.
Although there's good corners in this draft,
and there's not great offensive linemen, you know?
Yeah, there's some depth at the corner spot.
And then if you want to fortify that offensive line,
especially the interior,
I think Serafeld's a really good player, man.
Like, if you took Serafeld and played him at guard,
I think you'd be really happy with the results.
Jake Slaughter, I think it would be really good for his own blocking scheme as well,
the center from Florida.
So I'm cool with maybe rolling the dice
and not going interior offensive line here at 32.
Yeah, I know where you're going.
And they're trying to target him at 64.
That makes sense.
I feel like Seahawks fans just hate Anthony Bradford at right guard
and chat, correct me if I'm wrong.
I feel like they will do anything to replace him.
So if you want your boy here, now it would be the time.
I think Dunker is just, I mean,
And it obviously depends, right?
Because if
if Clint Kubiak is not there
and it's someone else's scheme,
the thought process behind this pick changes.
Maybe they're not running as much outside zone.
Maybe they're not running as much mid zone.
Maybe they're trying to be more between the tackles
because you've got to think about it.
Like not only are they replacing potentially,
not only are they potentially replacing Clint Kubiak,
they would also be potentially replacing Kenneth Walker as well.
So maybe Charbonnet steps in and he's the RB1
and it's sort of like that's the end of that story.
But maybe not.
You might be in a spot where the offensive coordinator
and whoever's going to come up with a philosophy of the run game is changing
and then also like whatever the characteristics of the next back
that you are getting in might change too.
So if all things stay the same,
I like Jennings Dunker a lot for them.
I think he plays guard.
and for as much as he has struggled as a gap scheme blocker,
especially as a tackle,
what he's been phenomenal at over the last two years
is those zone blocking plays.
I mean, you see it's an 84, 83.4 zone blocking grade for him this year.
It was even better last year.
He had an elite run blocking grade as a zone blocker last season.
But, yeah, I think this is a perfect fit for them.
I really do.
Yeah, you click on Emmanuel Pregnon there,
the guard from Oregon, Tyler.
Because I think a lot of people like him, too.
Obviously, his own grades have been phenomenal.
I think his grades have been lower.
He's a late bloomer because this year he's just been much, much, much better.
He plays guard.
So if you like the idea of that,
then you could just go with him and maybe feel a little bit better about it.
But I don't know if you have a lean one way or the other between these two guys.
Like you said, a lot of it comes down to what they want to do
and what they want to maintain.
It's tricky.
I mean, I think,
I wonder how it's going to shake out when I evaluate the guards.
Right now, I can tell you I really like Serafeld as a player.
I haven't fully stacked up Dunker and Pregnone,
like to have a tie break here.
I guess the argument is here looking at the board.
Do we try to capitalize on one spot now?
and go interior O-line in the second round.
But also, you don't really want to get cute with this
because protecting Sam Darnold from the interior
has to be a priority for this team.
I agree.
I think I would go guard.
Who are the corners?
Can we see corners, Tyler?
I think it was Abney and C-Saysay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's a lot of the same corners
that we talked about before.
I think we should go O-line.
Let's go pregnant-on because we don't draft them a lot.
And to be honest,
There's a lot of people who are huge fans of him.
I liked him a little bit of what I saw at USC, like two years ago when I was evaluating for the first time.
But I've only seen a little bit of him this year.
We're getting to offensive line, obviously, for our early rankings soon.
So we'll have a more solid take on that.
But I know a lot of people really like this dude.
There's a lot of people who have them in their top 50s.
So let's take him here, especially with the great zone blocking grade and the good pass protection grades.
And it sure sounds like he would fit with this Seattle offense.
So let's take him at 32 and let's see what our options are now at 64.
Ooh, Kamari Ramsey.
For that true roaming safety.
That's interesting.
If you don't have Bryant, then all of a sudden,
I think Ramsey's an excellent pick for them.
I think he's super smart.
I love them last year.
Yep.
When he was draft eligible.
It kind of frees up what you could do with everybody else around him.
Yeah.
man which is fun i want to see oh could pull his profile up on more time i want to see the snap
kind of highlight the snap count there he's played a lot more in the slot this year right but
he has i don't like actually he has like 600 snaps at true free safety the two previous years yes so
i know he could do it that's what i liked about him when i watched him before this year i like him
that's their kind that's their kind of db chat's saying low moving cost this this low moving cost
yeah relatively yeah you're staying on the same coast and we just did it
with i mean southern california to seattle's you know it's not uh it's not super easy
but it's a beautiful drive right that's off the up the pacific right majestic drive yeah i mean
the u-hall is going to be humming i don't mind this okay this is all right this is a take
and anybody else no ramsie definitely makes the most sense for them
in this spot and i think in our scenario we're kind of operating like he'll be back
otherwise we'd probably emphasize wide receiver because after jason i don't think cooper cup
looks like you had any juice left in the tank that's true i like their tight ends they're going to
need another running back there was part of me i was going to pitch to jadarian price to you here
and then i was like let's solve other needs and go running back later yeah yeah
Cari Ramsey makes a ton of sense here for this defense.
Medium moving costs.
No, people are saying low moving costs for Emmanuel Pregnott, which is true.
I mean, that's like a...
Oregon is Seattle, very, very low moving costs.
Oh, D. Sauter brings up, they do have Tori Horton.
I forgot about Horton since he got hurt.
Yeah, yeah.
But Horton looked really good for the start of this year.
AJ's saying in the chat, he said,
we'd really love for you guys at some point to talk about the safety class.
It feels like it's really solid.
I know the position isn't the sexiest, but, man, Downs, Halsey, Theanman, Ramsey, Immanuel, McNeil Warren, et cetera.
I think this is a really good safety class.
Man, and we need one.
We always say, like, when we walk outside and say, we needed this rain.
We needed this safety class.
Real bad.
Real bad.
Let's go Ramsey here.
I do think that the safety class is pretty good.
Yeah.
And then we got pick 96.
Okay.
Can I see the running backs here?
I'm kind of curious with how the board breaks.
Oh, interesting.
And then not good.
They all like all the...
Can you do me a favor and take running back off the board completely?
Thank you.
I like Fat Man a lot, but you have Zach Charbonnet.
I mean, you could just run it back, you know?
And just go Fat Man and Charbonnet.
Or you just bring back Kenneth Walker and just not have to use an asset on...
Yeah.
Also, Justice Haynes still hasn't declared.
I don't think.
No, I haven't seen it yet at least.
because I'm waiting to watch him for our show.
On Wednesday, yeah.
On, on Friday.
Friday, sorry, yes.
Normally Wednesday.
Because of New Year's.
We're adjusting it because of New Year's, guys.
We're actually doing the show on Friday, so.
So he's somebody that I still need to do my write-up for on tape.
But I think we'll have the answer by then.
Maybe, maybe not.
Yeah, him and Ian Strong, the wide receiver from Rutgers are the two that I'm like,
all right.
Come on.
Let's make a decision here.
I declare, although we had Strong in our wide.
receiver show anyway. I like Joe Alivo with a $100 super chat and no text. Wow, Joe!
Holy cow. I mean, there's got to be a text coming. Yeah. If you follow up with a non-super chat
text, Joe, I promise I will look out for it. Thank you for. We won't promise we will read anything on
the screen, but for $100, there's a lot we will read. It's not much we won't read.
Joe, you're king. Thank you, Joe. We appreciate it.
All right, can I see the main board again, Tyler?
All right, so we took Pregnon, and we took Camari Ramsey.
Oh, so, okay, love you guys.
Well, Connor, Trev is fine, I guess.
If Jets get Mendoza, I'll drop you guys one day.
Wow.
I'll rig the draft.
I got to remember this.
I'll get a federal crime.
I got to remember this joke.
You could call Trevor fine as much.
much as you want for a thousand dollars again you can call me worse for a hundred
dollars yeah called me worse for a thousand dollars this guy stinks man joe the go
thank you joe we appreciate that was really nice so with that being said
where do we land this is kind of tough here yeah didn't love how the backfield broke
i really don't no i mean what's cool about my
like McDonald is. He's just... The blanket? Do we go Will Lee? The blanket. Did we take
Barham in our last pick of the last draft? No, we ran out of picks. No, we didn't. No,
you know what? He's halfway to AARP. But a key messador
boys. Has hit has been sick this year. Brother, he's got to be 30 years old, no? He is
the Nathan Shepard. No, he's not. He's like 23.
I'm just making jokes.
No, he's older than that.
I know he's a seven-year player.
Yes.
Oh, man.
You know, all right, guess how old he's going to be on draft night?
26.
25.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the Nathan Shepard.
However, the journey is wild.
Kylo, can you click his name, a key Mestor from Miami, bottom on the screen?
Look at the snap counts that he has played.
So he was a defensive tackle.
and then he moved to sort of like heavy-handed edge and now he's an outside linebacker the dude
had the true multi-year trust the process bulk and cut and now he's unbelievable on the edge
it's pretty amazing i would i i think we should draft him here yeah we're at 96 this is
where it would start for him this is where it would start for him i would value barram more because
he's more explosive to me and mike macdonald just loves explosive chaos in his front seven
and barnum's bigger kind of depends what they want let me see what we got here uh they got to marcus
laurence they have chicken in the chat said eight years ago he was a safety
i don't even know if you're lying i honestly he probably played safety in high school i don't i don't
know. Boye-Mafe, but I've mentioned that he's a free agent.
I take Messador. I'll let you have this one.
I would take Messador. I'm pulling the Joe Shane right now.
Oh, Brian Damon wants Jackson Dart. We're going to let him get his guy. Let's roll the dice.
Trevor wants Messador. I think Messador has been so good.
especially at the back half of this year the quickness he is also explosive off of the edge what
does he weigh now what do they have him listed at no he ain't 280 hold on Trevor will not have
it well him being listed at 280 tells you exactly where we're so he's 6 3265 now so he's still
got he still got a a good frame to him the chat is just killing this guy why
because of the age jokes.
Oh,
sure.
And him and Ed Reed
were an unbelievable
safety tandem.
Dude,
they were.
They were.
He's actually,
he's actually
Ed Reed's uncle
is the thing.
A lot of people
don't realize that.
A lot of people don't realize that.
That a key mess door
is actually Ed Reed's uncle.
All right.
I would pick him here.
Take him.
Tyler said to Mike Evans
to Ventures,
I hate you guys.
It's never going to stop.
We finally got rid of the
Alfred Collins replies.
That was our seventh
around charity mock draft, the origins of that.
By the way,
logic estimate 94 rushing yards.
Don't think that we didn't, that we didn't notice.
Yeah, we're aware.
We absolutely did.
We're aware.
We're just taking the humble road here.
Which, hold on.
Wait a second.
Hold on.
I'm getting the picture.
Oh, yes.
Yes, yes, yes.
This is, uh,
the anticipation of this, folks.
You don't want to leave your seats.
right now.
Connor, you would know
because you talk to this person, right?
Now I feel awful.
I need to find
their name and give them a shout out
because they messaged me.
Hold on.
Look at this. You can look it up.
Brady Lamb.
Guys.
Shout out to the goat, Brady Lamb.
Brady Lamb sent us this.
An autograph
framed
Audrick Estime
photo
unbelievable
you guys
are incredible
holy W is right Charlie
I was floored when I opened this up
and I saw this
this is incredible
I love it
you guys are
you guys are too good to us
we hope the entertainment
honestly it is unbelievable
like how nice our audience is
I don't
mean to sound surprised by that but you get like a total misconception of the internet and the
replies to content because everybody thinks it's just people being like you suck or like terrible
takes our audience not only is extremely polite in the chat but sends us lovely gifts that
i don't know how to even explain to the people i live with i don't i don't know either they're
like damn people really like you in the outside world and i don't know they're lovely they're
absolutely lovely big peter
not only sponsoring the show but sponsoring our life as well i mean like it's just you guys are phenomenal
i forward my electric bill to peter he used it to write off on his taxes because he needs the tax break
it's our best plan yet on this podcast it really is it really is but uh thank who was it would you say
his name was brady brady lamb brady lamb thank you so much for the picture that's like i said
my jaw hit the floor when i when i opened it up and saw that it was uh that it was an autographed
Aldrich Esmey photo. We, we appreciate you so much. Not just for the photo, but for watching
the show, for listening to the show, for being an addict. We appreciate it. We appreciate all you guys
out there. Do we even finish a draft? Do we got one more pick? No, we finished it. I don't know.
Whatever. I made the pick. Yeah, I let you roll the dice. We went with Ed Reed's uncle.
Akeem Messador. Man, Mike McCarthy didn't like this one. No. He liked Ramsey, but
Thompson on shock hit the floor.
they're calling peter the uncrustable trust fund baby the untrustable the uncrustable i said i said
the untrustable oh man god and we're we're being called small a lot which i take back everything i ever
said wait how how am i small squirt oh yeah yeah yeah yeah they they think they're funny in there okay
before we uh before we spin the wheel another time because we got two more that we're getting
a keem leather helmet messador that's from pfg that's a good that's up there with the what was it
the legion of whom yes what do you mean what was it oh man leather helmet that's i'm sorry
but i'll never not think of that within the rest of my life
yes that is i'm allowed to laugh because he's a good player and i drafted him you took him
yeah imagine cadell goes up to the podium no what we need to do is we need to have an addict
to be the guest picker at the draft and hopefully that team picks an older player and they
announce him as leather helmet yes that would be sabotaging the draft that we would we would
infiltrate big draft then that's how you know we have we've gotten inside the walls
GM said Akeem front of the end zone uprights every time I see that I just can't believe
what I'm witnessing what the field post being in front of the end zone it's just a total
it's just a death trap it's just entertaining as hell
but completely insane.
Yeah, that's wild.
All right.
Well, Emmanuel Pregnod,
Kamari Ramsey,
and Leather Helmand himself,
rounds out the three-round mock draft
for the potential number one
overall seat, the Seattle Seahawks.
Okay, before we spin the wheel again,
give Connor second to slam the uncrustable here.
Our game plan of the week, folks,
presented by Western and Southern Financial Group,
a game plan for your financial future.
Our game plan of the week
is what we're seeing from the New Orleans
Saints right now and now offensive rookie of the year favorite Tyler Shuck. Holy cow
quarterbacks in their rookie season who have had back to back 300 yard games with no
interceptions. Dak Prescott Joe Burrow and Tyler Shuck himself. The game plan that we like
though is Kellan Moore specifically targeting those outside the numbers throws exactly what
Tyler Shuck was fantastic at when he was at Louisville. He's taking Shuck strengths, putting them into the
game plan, 76.5 overall passing grade over the last two weeks when he has been targeting
players of 20 or more yards deep down the field and outside the numbers. He's been fantastic
in that regard. Excellent game plan. We love to see it from a rookie quarterback who's really
playing really well. Just like every team win starts with a great game plan, your future should
as well. With life insurance built like a championship roster, Western and Southern helps protect
you and your family so you can focus on winning today knowing that tomorrow is covered. Whether
you're just starting out building your dynasty or looking to lock in long term
protection their coverage options are designed to match your game plan visit western
southern.com backslash pff to get your free life quote and start building your financial
game plan today western and southern built to win backed by over 130 years of helping people
protect what matters most all right time to spin the wheel oh glorious spin oh glorious spin
the almighty wheel
what do we got
oh no
oh no
somebody was out there and just
blew on that arrow a little bit
because that felt like he was dying at Green Bay
potential
NFC champions
the Carolina Panthers
we didn't fix the Panthers right
I felt like we were teetering on
maybe fixing the Panthers
we do every year and we decided to wait.
And we decided to wait.
How funny, Trevor, is it if, and this won't happen.
Yes.
But if Atlanta wins out, dude, I pray for it.
I genuinely pray for it.
I'd be like some people know it, but if you don't know, chat,
if Atlanta wins out and the Bucks beat the Panthers,
the Panthers make the playoffs.
Yep.
Atlanta actually could be the ultimate spoiler.
Atlanta has to win tonight
against Los Angeles Rams
but then dude
it's even better than that
the setup's even better
if the if the Falcons win
on Monday night football against the Rams
the Bucks play
Saturday at 430
against the Carolina Panthers
isolated game
the Bucks could win that game
and then have to wait
until 1 p.m. the next day
when the Falcons play the Saints
in order to know if they even
won the division right so it's not even it's not even quite the do or die that people think that
it is if carolina wins i think they're in regardless i think yeah but if yeah they're in
tampa wins then if carolina wins it's over which is hilarious which it's ridiculous the panthers
fans at the tag do you see the panthers fans at the chat they're they're talking pound town
pounders sub sub sub pounders it's it's it's the good stuff
Which was the very first comment in the Carolina Panthers channel in the NFLSC Discord,
which if you guys aren't in the Discord, you absolutely should be.
The link is in the description here on the channel of this episode.
I'm just going to hang out in random Discord rooms at times.
I'm going to.
Yeah, I'm going to take up residence in Pound Town at some point.
We'll see how long I stay.
Somebody said, it's pound and time.
It's the greatest team slogan ever made.
I'm so jealous of it.
Me too.
It's sick.
All right.
They're picking 19th overall right now
because,
well,
they're winning the division
and that's the lowest
that you can pick
while winning a division.
What a strange year for Carolina, man.
When it looks good,
it just looks,
I mean, they are a team
that's absolutely on fire.
And when it's bad,
holy cow,
do you feel like
there's so many different.
different things that you could change with this team. Right.
So...
Very volatile year.
Yeah.
Let's see. Pick in 19th.
Their offensive lines actually played all right.
I think linebacker is the biggest need for them.
Sunny Stiles would be excellent for them, but I think
Sunny Stiles is a top 12 pick.
So...
Oh, he's gone. Yeah. Oh, yeah. He's not.
He's gone on the...
Oh, look at that. The Los Angeles Rams took Sunny Stiles at 11.
You were mocked when you did that much ago.
Oh! Whoa! What?
look at that everybody laughed at him everybody laughed at him not a madman just ahead of the curve
that's exactly what that was that is i i am the living embodiment and now sunny styles
will go 24th no no no no no no he's going early don't you do that he's going early so i actually
don't know i'll see carolina's free agents uh the good thing for them is it feels like
Like, Nick Scorton has had a really nice year for them.
Yeah, which, I mean, hey, good player is good, kind of crazy.
I mean, he's shocked.
We're all shocked about it.
I thought he was the first rounder, but nevertheless.
So that helps their pass rush a lot.
So Cade Maynes.
They need more.
Yash Nyman, Austin Corbett, Brady Christensen,
all of them are free agents.
They're going to bring back somebody.
Yeah, I think so.
But they could definitely make an interior offensive line addition.
But the offensive line is playing well.
Jutavian Sanders hasn't been what they've wanted him to be.
I think that you could entertain Kenyon Sadiq here.
But the worry is that you're, because that was the thought with Jatavian Sanders, right?
Former five-star tight end.
Yeah.
incredible athlete you're betting on the athlete he's going to pan out for you and where i will have
kenyon sadique ranked and graded higher than i had sanders it's sort of the same conversation with
him coming into the NFL are they going to want to do something like that again there i mean this
pick is two players to me in this spot because of where what you got oh
Caden McPounder
That's from Tom
That's really good
And that is why he's one of the two picks
For me
MacPounder
Imagine walking around
In a McPounder jersey
Dude
If he gets drafted by Carolina
Because I live in Charlotte
I might custom order one
And get it signed
Yep
We might have to get it signed
keep mc pounding i i die for the day this show and i would never rule this out has its own studio
not for the fact that i get to sit next to you every day and have all the laughs that's a big part
of it but for what the studio would actually be decorated with dude yes because like a random
football fan that doesn't watch us would turn it on and be like a signed picture of audrick
estimate and a mcpounder 69 jersey who are these guys why are they on
my television not why are they on my television i love this show it's it's not why are they on my
television it's why are they the number one thing that comes up when i put when i pull up
netflix why are they the flagship show they're just playing yep that's what our studio
would look like that's what we're i truly can't wait for that yeah that that would be phenomenal
one day malingoa or the mcpounder would just best player available in the trenches
Uh, I think I'd go with McPounder, to be honest with you.
Yeah, he's, he's quite good.
Him and Derek Brown.
They have Cam Jackson, though.
I don't know if Cam Jackson keeps you from picking Caden, McDonald.
But I do like Cam Jackson a lot.
Yeah, me too, honestly.
And then you have a different type in Tershon Wharton.
So now you have like a couple different style of players.
Wait, Isaiah Simmons is on this team?
There's a, when you go through the Panthers roster,
there's a couple moments like that.
Like Prince Lee,
Ammon Me Ellen being on this team.
Whoa, come on, hold on.
No, but it's like, oh yeah, I forgot he went there.
No, I didn't.
Gator Great.
Sort of.
I think I might just go value and take Cade McDonald.
And to be honest with you, I mean, the joke is too good to,
pass up yeah it's time to take the mcpounder so i think i think that we would draft him i don't think
there's anybody because they've got 51 and 83 so we have two regular picks as well
let's take hayd macdonald let's let's put a legitimate force next to
derrick brown and really see if we could free him up because i think that is going to be
important oh man halsey
well they draft they just drafted merrig or they just signed mary excuse me what is the uh conor lou
this is connor lew territory oh they're not going to re-sign all of their free agent offensive lineman
no i think that austin corbett and kade maize can play center for you so if you bring back one
of those guys do you feel better about one of them playing at center because if you feel okay about
either of them playing guards like corbett plays guard now
then i could absolutely see that be in the case
hmm i'd they still need linebacker though
yeah the chat is saying they hate their linebackers
what's what's the what's the linebackers look like we just can't get burned and
not take one so it'd be lawson
I like Deontay Lawson
Yeah
I
I love Tori and York
He's just he's just so small
He's just so small
I think I'm going to update
The only saving grace
If you take York
And I'm with you
Is that he gets the run behind
McDonald's and Derek Brown now
That's very true
Like at least you set up an infrastructure
For him to have a chance
Yeah
But it would be I would take Lawson
yeah i would too honestly i might take gold day as well over whit weeks in tory in york yep did wit
declare wait did he declare or is he uh playing for his stepdad or whatever it is father-in-law
he's not stepdad father-in-law uh seven hours ago lane kiffin hints at potential elegy football
return with whit weeks
All right.
He's going back, dude.
He can't say no to Lane.
You know how awkward the holidays would be?
No, you've got to.
I mean, you've got to, you've got to get out of there just as a power.
I actually, I think I'm with you.
You go to the league.
You don't get, you don't get bossed around.
No, you don't.
By your potential father-in-law.
No, no, no, no.
Somebody's mentioned in Trey Moore, too.
I think we're overthinking this a little bit.
Well, I think we're going to take a linebacker.
It's just a matter of if you take one at 51 or do you take one at 83?
I mean, I don't really see some crazy need that we...
Because I think you get Jacob Rodriguez at 83.
Yeah.
Man, it goes back to our combo.
I'm fascinated to see what he runs.
Me too.
Because I like the player a lot.
I don't think we'll get Lawson.
And if Golda is on the board, I just don't think he makes to 83.
He's 83 right there, but I think I'm going to move him up on the consensus board.
It just feels like he's going higher.
So if we're going to do this, I think we need to operate under the geese of either we're taking Lawson or Galdi here at 51 or we're getting Jacob Rodriguez at 83.
Yeah, I would.
So who else is on the board then, Tyler?
Can we see that?
Maybe we do. I mean, maybe we are drafting Conor Lou.
It all goes back to our original thought.
I mean, I have no problem taking Connor Lou at 51.
I think he could be so good.
If the medicals check out, everything's fine.
Yeah, but if you draft a linebacker here,
somebody just mentioned jutavian sanders um what did he break his ankle uh
ankle injury yeah he's on i r uh went to the x-ray room ruled out with an ankle injury
doesn't look great so my only other thing is do we want to go linebacker here
and then hit tight end at 83.
Which plan do you like better?
Connor Lou here and then linebacker
or linebacker here and then a tight end?
Connor Lou and linebacker.
Okay, all right, let's take Connor Lou.
I really like Lawson in this spot,
but Connor Lou is, that's a good BPA pick,
and now we get the C.
All right, Jake Rodriguez.
Yeah, Jacob Rodriguez.
Yeah, Tray Moore.
I think that's kind of the conversation that we're having here.
Yeah, but I mean, if Jacob Rodriguez,
if you're thinking about it, depending on what he runs.
If he ends up being incredibly slow,
obviously you're probably not going to think about him here at 83,
but unbelievable season from him,
super smart linebacker, smaller dude.
But if he tests okay athletically,
I think you're going to be alright with this.
Yep.
So let's take Jacob Rodriguez.
Okay.
There we go.
One more Makarooski.
One more Makarusky.
What will give us?
There we go.
Caden McPounder.
Number 69 on the field.
number of 69 in your hearts.
Conner's Lou and
Jacob Rodriguez there for the
for the Carolina Panthers. I like that.
That's actually, I think that's a really
impactful draft. The pounding has been done.
Yeah.
And it will keep going.
Consider yourself pounded.
The poundings will continue until
morale improves.
All right.
Let's make
guesses. I'm going to guess Bengals.
I'm going to guess the Houston Texans.
Oh, baby.
Oh, you got a chance here.
No, it's going to die.
Wow.
It's the Rams.
It's still going.
Rams, it is.
Man, we got to, what do we do?
The Seahawks, the Eagles, the Panthers.
All the scrappy underdogs.
And so the beauty of the Rams, though, is that they have the Falcons pick.
The Rams.
matter a lot in this draft yeah yeah uh all right 11 sunny styles is there just
letting you guys know i mean i am no problem with that could be mansor delane i think
the lane's probably an option for them what's their cornerback situation look like
comes to free agency they have some dbs that are up i know cam curl and quentin lake are free agents
cam curl quentin lake indeed deco uh de coby durant akilla witherspoon roger mccreary it's like
the whole secondary yeah they have four picks though they have such a good culture they'll be
able to retain people and i think so too and and to be honest um spencer spencer uh fauno
Fano.
Yeah, Fano.
Not like a ceiling fan.
No, not Fano.
Fano.
We love this pick because you just start him at where you plug them into right tackle and you feel so good about it.
The way they run the ball.
It's so easy.
Yeah, but that's, that's a really good thing.
No, I'm not complaining about it.
I'm just, I'm agreeing with you.
Now, go ahead, go ahead.
There is part of me that like is being a child and just wants to take Jordan Tyson, but I won't.
DeMonte Adams is getting up there, man.
he's always got little soft tissue injuries.
That's a pick for the future.
It's kind of hilarious.
But Fano is the adult pick.
So I see J4-7 in the chat say,
how is Tyson still available?
And while I agree, he should be gone,
Tyson's medical,
I'm not saying it's going to push him out of like the top 15
or first round or anything.
I mean, I might.
I don't think it'll push him out of the first round,
No, but teams are going to have combos about him where like Carnell Tate might go ahead of him.
Mike Levin might go ahead of him.
We love Jordan Tyson, but also you're going to have some doctors that might be like,
you know, this guy's missed time every year and he's an amazing player, but that's going to be up to you.
Like, it's, I just want to make it known.
It's not out of the realm of possibility that the Rams are on the clock at 11 for the Falcons and Tyson's on the board.
This is actually like an elite scenario for them because they have, this is,
This is, it just goes to show the dream that the Rams have with this extra pick with the Falcons
because Mansour Delane, excellent pick for them.
Sonny Stiles, I know they don't prioritize linebacker like that,
but like, styles is a beast.
If you got Stiles, just in the middle of that defense, he's unbelievable.
Jordan Tyson, such a luxury picket wide receiver, but holy cow,
the explosiveness that this offense could continue to have over the next couple of years.
And then Spencer Fano, immediate plug and play right.
tackle for you if you're not bringing back Kavanastein. So this, it could not have landed better
for the Rams at number 11. And it's, it's kind of hard for me to think that you're not going to
have at least half of these options when they come on the board if they're going to sit here
at number 11. Can we get cute, take styles here, and hope to develop a right tackle down
the road? I wouldn't. No, I get it. I mean,
I love, I love Sonny
Stiles. I really do.
But when you are about
to have an immediate need at right tackle,
like you said.
Old quarterback.
I think that the fun picks are Sunny Stiles
and Jordan Tyson. The responsible adult picks
are Spencer Fano or Mansourg Lane,
depending on how many corners you think.
Let's take Spencer Fano.
And then see how we can make out with the value here
later on. All right. Let's see.
they got a 27 now
after we take Fano
oh man
still some good players left
Colton Hood and Brandon
Cise I think are excellent picks
Hood would be probably who I take here
yeah I think hood's really good
hood's had a really good year
helps then a corner which could be a real dire need
I thought he showed really good flashes
when he was in Colorado as well
end of the year strong, which is good to see.
Chad just wants McPounder again.
No.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, way, wait.
We can't.
Yeah, that's stolen Val.
That's stolen Carolina Valor.
Right.
We can't.
I mean, if we were to draft Caden MacDonald here to the Rams, let's, let's be very clear.
We'd be drafting Caden McDonnell.
We wouldn't be drafting Caden McPounder.
That's right.
So you've got to think about that.
It's only for the Panthers.
I like the Colton Hood selection.
I don't really see anybody else here who would tempt me.
And to get Fano and Hood, I think you feel, you feel really good about,
you feel really good about that one, two coming out of the first round.
All right.
Let's go Colton Hood.
All right.
Stolen McVowler.
Oh, this actually worked out pretty well for us.
Did he?
Why?
Anthony Hill, Jr.
Ooh.
You still get a linebacker.
a good linebacker.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not even second-guessing that one.
All right.
I don't think there's a wide receiver that is still here that I would consider.
I think all of them are gone.
Well, we can get all these guys in our pick-90-well,
not all these guys, but one of these guys have picked 91.
Definitely.
Hey, if you're big on Anthony Hill Jr., I think that that works.
I think we can do that.
You just Joe Shane to me.
Yeah, look, you know.
You want to roll the dice?
Hey, you know, look, you're the boss.
You know, you're the head coach.
Let's get him have his guy.
Let's get his guy.
I don't agree, but, you know, let him have his guy.
Let's roll the dice.
All right.
We'll take Anthony.
Anthony Hill, Jr.
Real thumper in the middle there.
Ram's fans are going to yell at us and you're like,
they're not going to take a linebacker, but if they have the ability to be able to do.
Well, you said that for the years for the Eagles,
and we were wrong all the time until they finally did it.
yeah so it could happen and they're very and look at that what are we looking at oh mar
cooper junior this is one of those like everybody posts their mock drafts and thinks they're a
genius when it's like how the heck did that happen but man that is a good that's a damn good
draft that's a really good draft i love this draft i also don't hate the idea just going back to
the DB well again and being like Kianti Scott get out there dude I I don't hate that because
Omar Cooper's like the like we get a key to the city if we do this draft but count they
Scott's the more like you know we're a tougher football team damn we could have both these
guys if we didn't draft that stupid linebacker.
What does the chat think here?
Nick's saying draft Deonti, or Dionne Burks to play the 2-2 Atwell role.
And then P.F. is saying C.J. Daniels here.
Okay.
I should have Omar Cooper Jr.
Did we took Omar Cooper Jr. in our first mock today?
Or no?
We did.
We took him somewhere.
Yeah, we did.
So let's go to C.J. Daniels to change it up.
If we go that route.
I have no problem taking Keontay Scott here, man.
I kind of like Keonti Scott, given how much they could potentially lose in the secondary.
And they're really good at DeVs, getting the best out of DVs.
You look at the years that Lake had before he got hurt and Camperl and Manuel Forbes, man.
They got him off the scrap heap and turn him into a player.
Yeah.
I'm looking at their, yeah, Quentin Lake.
Ant said more tight ends for the future 14 personnel.
That's true.
Hey, dude, just litter the field with tight ends.
It is wild to watch them play.
16 personnel even.
Let's just develop a team of tight ends.
19 personnel, not even mathematically possible.
Why are tight ends playing offensive line?
I'd go Keonti Scott for anybody that hasn't watched Miami football this year.
Probably the best nickel defender in the country.
Just an absolute menace when playing, as you see the run defense grade there.
but yeah it's everything he i he might be the most improved player in the country in the draft he might
be like i when i did it had him on a stock up a couple i don't maybe months now at this point i was
like who the hell is this like right this guy's a terror out there no when you when you shouted him out
as a as a stock up player i'd never even heard of him and when i watched his film was like okay
this dude's an NFL player six year guy fifth or six year guy yeah him and uh him and uh kean mesador
messador might be seven he's actually
Ed Reed's older cousin.
Yes.
Yeah.
So Messador is Ed Reed's uncle, and Kianti Scott's actually, Ed Reed's older cousin.
All right, let's take Kianti Scott here.
Here we go, Los Angeles Rams.
Nice trap.
Mike McCarthy.
Come, B-plus.
Come on, McCarthy.
He didn't like the Fano pick.
He wanted Jordan Tyson.
He did not want to do the adult thing.
Wow, he wanted Jordan Tyson.
I mean, I get it, Mike.
Hey, we're here to have fun.
By the way, which pick did he give an A?
The Anthony Hill Jr.
Ah, that's weird.
I don't know.
I just, look, you can have, look, I get,
it's my guy.
I gave you the pick.
I gave you the pick.
And then when I get fired.
Right.
This is a guy.
Yeah.
All right, that's it.
Very solid.
Very solid.

See, see, see, I knew we shouldn't. Somebody said 2 a.m. See what you've done. You've given the
people too much power. That's all. No, 2 p.m. Democracy this show.
Democracy. Actually, there's a, that's a good.
series name right there for a mock draft by the people. Democracy. We've got to write that down.
2 p.m. Eastern time on Friday. We are going to do the running back episodes. So the early
running back rankings for the 2026 NFL draft. And we're going to be trying to fire through
as many of these position groups as we possibly can before the shrine and senior bowl at the end
of January. So we know there was a little bit of time off for the holidays and everything, but we're
really trying to get to it. We're trying to watch as many of these guys as possible. I would
love to get to every single position before the Senior Bowl and the Shrine Bowl,
which is, like I said, at the end of January. So that's our goal. It's what we're trying to do here.
If you guys are not in the NFL-S-E Discord, we would love for you to be. The link to the
Discord is in the description here of this show. We'll post it on all of our socials, too,
because we would love to see you guys in there in the Pounders chat if you're a Carolina
Panthers fan. But if you're a fan of any team, we've got specific team channels where
you guys talk about team building and, you know, potential trades, moves, free agents, signings,
draft picks, all that great stuff.

know obviously Connor anything else before we get out here no i love the wheel i actually
I'm, like, disappointed that it's not running out of teams, but losing teams.
We got a handful more episodes.
I want to just do different wheel content when we're done with this.
Like a wheel full of prospects, and we have to break them down and pick a team for them.
See, I like this.
I like this.
The wheel might be here to stay, folks.
Yeah.
Hopefully you guys.
Hopefully you guys.
