Number four, Trinidad Shameless, who might not even be in this draft because he's going to war in the courtroom.
Yeah.
You look so scared.
That's a wild way to set that up.
It might not even be in this because he's going to war.
It was not a smart way to intro or rank.
Did he get drafted?
Or do we have a draft?
We have a draft?
Am I going to war?
What are we in?
Wait, wait, wait, this isn't a draft I signed up for.
He signed the wrong papers.
to the opening
bell of the NFL
Stock Exchange podcast
and Trevor Sykima
no Connor Rogers
with me for this one guys
we weren't sure
if Connor is going to be able to make it
he's navigating
the winter storm
trying to get down
to Mobile for the Senior Bowl
where I currently am reporting from
and we're just hoping
that he has good luck doing so
because I obviously want to hang out
with him here
and make some great content
for the Senior Bowl for you guys
shout out there
who might be dealing with travel
plans anywhere in the country.
To be honest with you, outside of travel plans,
anybody that has been dealing with this winter storm at all whatsoever.
We hope that you guys have been safe.
We hope that you got power.
We hope that you are just all of that stuff.
It was crazy.
I was out in Dallas for the Shrine Bowl,
and we're going to talk about the Shrine Bowl a little bit here on the show
as well as do some new team at mock drafts.
But, man, I was planning on, obviously,
staying in the Shrine Bowl the entire time.
And I had to pivot my plans to try to get out of Dallas a little bit earlier.
It was, it was.
a mess probably the longest travel 48 hours of my life but you're here in mobile we made it we
are safe that is what is most important so i hope everybody out there has been safe during this winter
storm as well no matter where you are in the country except if you're from florida if you're from
florida i hate you don't talk to me you guys you guys got none of it even though i saw it is getting
a little bit cold this week but again i just hope everybody is safe and all that we're going to have
fun on the show even though it's just me we got tyler the chef with us as well so i'm going to be
bouncing some ideas and some thoughts off of him.
But it's going to be a big chat show.
I'm going to be checking the chat a lot during this show.
As we go through the Shrine Bowl,
I'm going to try to answer as many of y'all's questions as I possibly can
about what I saw at the Shrine Bowl.
I got a full day of practice in on Friday.
And then we had the game film or the practice film,
excuse me, which I was able to take a look at it from Saturday and Sunday
since I wasn't able to be there.
I was sitting in the airport for it.
But I saw a good amount of that as well.
So we're going to run through some standouts
that we saw in the Shrine Bowl.
You can talk a little bit about the playoffs
and what we just saw yesterday
with the Patriots and the Seahawks now playing
for the Super Bowl.
And then like I said,
we're going to go through some new team moks
in the wheel of Mockraft,
which has a very interesting addition
this time around
that I was not aware of
until I logged on for the pre-show
before we went live.
So that would be very interesting.
I still don't even know what it is.
I saw the wheel.
I saw a new edition for it.
You guys are probably going to,
to learn about it as much as I am.
So let's talk about, oh, let's talk about the tribal.
Let's just get into that.
Let's Julian Edelman Return of the King, K and Weegean.
That's a really good.
Peter, that's a really good segue into what we have here.
Because I want to go through the Shrine Bowl roster,
and I just want to shout out some guys that I think really stood out.
Shout out to Eric Galko, by the way, the director of the Shrine Bowl,
who Eric works his ass off to put on an incredible event every single year.
The facility that they have it at at the Star in Frisco and Dallas is just, it is state of
the art.
It is such a great way to watch practice to let these guys play at their best.
And even though I was only there for one day this time around, it is just such a fantastic event.
So shout out to Galko, shout out to everybody out there who puts on the Shrine Bowl.
this is a really tough year for them,
given the winter storm and everything that was going on.
And they were still able to have practice
and monitor the weather as best as possible,
make sure that everybody stayed safe
and they were able to still put on that event.
Obviously, we still have the game that's coming up.
But I just wanted to give him a big shout-up
because I know that it was a really tough week
to pull off everything that they did.
And even the one practice that I was there,
I mean, it just, it ran so smoothly.
It's just, it's one of my favorite weeks of the year.
And Galko and his team are a big reason why because of all the work that they put in.
So shout out to those guys.
I really appreciate him.
Let's get into this.
What I wanted to do, I figured the best way to do this is to kind of go through the Shrine Bowl roster.
And I'll just be pointing out some players that I think really stood out.
Oh, Grant saying, I'm going to the game tomorrow for the Shrine Bowl.
Hell yeah.
Love that.
Love to hear that.
Peter said shout out to you, Trevor.
No, shout out to you, Peter.
Shout to everybody watching as well.
Let's go through this.
Let's go through this.
I think it's the East roster, I think.
So we're going to see.
Yeah, East roster.
Position by position.
Okay, let's start with cornerbacks because we've got two guys that I think really stood out as well.
Devin Marshall from NC State, I think was an early standout.
And from what I read from like Devin Jackson, Corey Kna, and Alex Katzen, Arifasan,
like a lot of those guys who were still there over the couple of days that I was at the airport,
I'm reading those guys practice reports because they got a really great eye for the game as well.
kept shouting this guy out. So not only was he good early on,
Devin Marshall, the cornerback from NC State, he seemed to just really be head and shoulders
above a lot of the rest of the corners. Now, not all of them. There's just a couple of other
ones that I want to shout out, but Avery Smith as well from Toledo. He was somebody that
I constantly saw a ton of people talking about. There were some clips that really
stood out to me of him playing sticky in coverage. And, you know, this is a good reminder
for everybody as we're going to get into senior bowl clips this year. A lot of
of those one-on-ones are the one-on-one passers drills are for the past rest of just obviously
shine. So if the offensive linemen shine in the one-on-one drills, that's, I mean, the odds are
kind of stacked against them in that drill. So if they're able to really stand out, like,
that's a big deal. I think the same thing, maybe even more so with defensive back,
playing defense, it's all about the chemistry that you have with the guys around you, even if you're
in single-in-man coverage. Like, you have to know where the other guys are going to be,
especially because there's a lot of man-match principles that happen with,
well, if this guy goes to the outside, then I'm taking them and I'm picking them up in man.
So there's a lot of chemistry that happens when you're in single coverage.
But when you go through these one-on-one drills, cornerback versus wide receiver,
or even tight-in versus linebacker, you guys get the drill.
It is so difficult to cover these players one-on-one,
knowing that they have the whole field to run with.
And I just felt like Avery Smith and a couple of other corners had some really good reps
using leverage, using technique, being able to be quick to anticipate routes,
like all of that stuff.
You could tell the guys that just look like they would belong in the NFL.
Maybe not, you know, standout starters, pro bowlers types.
Like guys that you know have a chance in the league.
And Damon Marshall and Avery Smith, I think were two of those guys.
Okay, who was somebody else?
Oh, Mason Rieger.
I actually, I didn't get to see a ton of him.
He's the edge rush from Wisconsin.
I didn't get to see a ton of him in the first practice on Friday.
But again, that group of guys that were covering it, boots on the ground.
I was reading a lot of their reports
and then I went back to watch some of the practice film as well from him.
And I thought he, I thought he looked really good.
A little bit lighter of an edge rusher.
He's more of a speed guy.
But man, he was given offensive tackles fits this week.
And so he is somebody that I think really stood out,
and especially in the speed and finesse game as a pass rusher.
Darrell Jackson Jr., who, do I have that.
I actually do.
Hold on one second.
I'm going to get the handy-dandy height weight.
that we got here. So you know what? I'm going to go to a check. I'm sure you guys are roasting me.
Yeah, you guys are roasting me. Yeah, we got a Bryce. He's so short. Yeah, yeah. Come on. There it is. There it is. Kegan,
call me short again. There it is. There it is. Charlie says Trevor has legs confirmed. Small legs.
You know, shout out to the sycamma DNA or the small legs, but they are there.
Peter's saying don't stand up. Dionne's saying great podcasting. Correct. Correct.
Okay. So Darryl Jackson Jr. Where are we here? East Rock.
roster, six foot five, defensive tackle, by the way, guys.
Six foot five, three 30, 11 inch hands, 35 inch arms.
This dude's an alien.
They don't make defensive tackles that are built like this guy.
This dude is, I was so, he looked like a monster.
Amongst guys that are going to be playing in the NFL, he absolved it out.
And he stands out in the power game, of course.
he's not too much of a pass-ratcher,
but there were times during the team drills,
the run defense drills,
where he was just a one-man wrecking crew.
I mean, whether it was going up against a guard or the center,
he was in the backfield or he was dictating
where the running back was going to be able to go
because he had so much control.
When you have those long arms and you are that big
and you have that much strength,
you just have the potential to have so much control
over the man in front of you,
even if he's a big dude.
So Darrell Jackson Jr.,
I think that he is somebody who of size a long,
I feel like he's going to get drafted in the mid-round.
Probably not the third round,
but hey, maybe if somebody really wants a guy who has some coveted size right there.
Let's see.
Ooh, A is asking about Caden Weegean.
We'll get there.
Trust me, we will get there.
Robert saying Trevor Pond, Sycamore.
Look, if me and DeAngelo Ponds, if we're on the same level, I'm good with that.
I'm good with that.
I watch the National Championship.
I watch the tape.
I'm cool with that.
All right.
Oh, Tori, New York.
So Tori and York, small.
And he looks small on tape.
He was listed as small when he was at Texas A&M.
But the official measurements for Tori in York, 5'10, 232 pounds, just 8 and 3-4s hands,
and just over 30-inch arms, 30-and-1-8-inch arms.
That's almost outlier small.
That's basically outlier small as an off-ball linebacker.
But even on day one, he had a couple of reps when it was linebackers going up against running
backs and pass protection drills.
and he was wreck and shop.
I mean, he was full aggression,
great leverage, good technique,
just going straight at these guys
and knocking him back in pass pro.
And there wasn't really a running back
that could handle him.
So he's also a super smart linebacker.
I mean, he wins so much of his IQ.
The question just is, is he too small, right?
I mean, are the stride lengths too short to where,
okay, sure, he recognizes the route,
but can he get from point A to point B the way that he needs to?
In run defense,
is his arm's going to be too small to wrap up NFL running backs on a consistent basis.
I think that's the question for him.
But, man, he is just, he is so smart.
He is such a bulldog.
I love the way that he approaches the game.
He's such a film junkie.
And you could tell he was a leader of that defense.
I'm not willing to give up on him.
Harold Perkins, he's right above him.
I thought Perk looked athlete enough for the NFL level.
The questions still remain, though, right?
I mean, he had some good reps in pass rushing, where he was able to dip the shoulder,
get around the offensive tackles.
It wasn't the best offensive tackle group overall at the Shrine Bowl.
But there were some reps where he was pretty good as a pass rusher.
But we know that he just doesn't have the frame to be a pass rusher at the NFL level.
Let's see what his official measurements were.
Now, he was listed as an offball linebacker, but he was six feet tall, just over six feet tall,
22 pounds, 31 and a half inch arms.
I mean, that's not an edge rusher.
So you could sit here and you could say, well, his best works as an edge rusher,
just let him play on the edge.
You get washed out at that size.
You're losing with length.
You're losing with weight.
I mean, it's basically, that would be outlier weight.
He would have to pack on at least 10 pounds to play on the edge.
And LSU already kind of tried to do that.
So I think he's an offball linebacker.
And when he sees it, he's got the athleticism to make a difference.
He was obviously better when triggering downhill as a run defender in the team drills.
But I don't think my opinion really changed of him.
I think he is a good enough athlete to play at the NFL level.
But it's just, will he ever have those coverage and second level instincts?
to be reliable the way that he needs to be.
So we will see.
I don't think he necessarily,
he didn't do anything hurt his stock this weekend.
I don't know if it would be a stock is soaring type of a thing.
If we go a little bit further down,
Michael Morris from Georgia,
I thought he played with a lot of power this week.
Nolan Rucci from Penn State really impressed me.
Now, this is somebody who I didn't,
I had on the radar because he's on the PFF consensus board and everything.
But, man, I thought he looked great.
He, shoot, he was listed.
What was he like?
What was his height?
He's six foot eight.
He was officially six foot eight,
three hundred and ten pounds.
Now,
the arm length wasn't as long as a six foot eight frame.
It was 33 and three eights.
But still,
I mean,
like that's decent length for your arms.
And obviously it's a lot of length
when it comes to your height.
And so this is just a big offensive tackle prospect,
who I thought moved really well.
I know he's working with Duke Maniweather in Texas.
And he is just absolutely one of the best
when it comes to the pre-draft process
as well as when these guys get to the NFL.
So love who he's working with.
And I thought he looked like one of, maybe even the best offensive tackle that we had in Trimble.
So somebody that's probably a day three type of a pick, but a really nice offensive tackle option if you're looking for that.
Because there's not a ton that you feel great about Traffton on day three.
But I think Nolan Rucci could be.
Amil Wagner as well.
People know him because Connor really, kind of really loved Emil Wagner when we were going into the season.
Now, I think there was some up and down for him.
But he's another dude who's built the way you want offensive tackles.
to be built. Six foot five, 300 pounds, 10 and one fourth inch hands, and 34 and 5 eighths arms.
So really long arms, which is what you want because, and I think people talk about long arms for
an offensive tackle, but I don't think they do the best job of explaining it.
And look, I didn't play offensive tackle very clearly by when I went back to go get the paper
for the measurements. You guys could see that I'm not a former offensive lineman myself.
but when you look at length with an offensive tackle,
it matters because the further away that you can make contact with an edge rusher,
the sooner that you can get them off of their game or get them off of their rhythm
or disrupt their pass rush plan, whatever it is,
that is more advantageous to you because then you can dictate the rep.
And it also matters because when you are in,
a run blocking drill.
If you are able to get your arms inside and out, right?
If you were able to get your arms inside and fully extend,
well, then a lot of times if you have the longer arms, guess what?
Then the guy that you're going up against,
think about it physically.
If you're being pushed back in your chest from somebody who's got longer arms than you,
you're trying to kind of grasp it anything to try to grab them to try to get power.
But you're on your heels then at that point.
That person has the advantage on you when that is the case.
So longer arms, it's not a kiss of death when you don't have long arms.
But that's why in the NFL you hear these arm length thresholds because they want their
offensive tackles.
They don't want them to have these efficiencies because they want them to be able to handle
all sorts of edge rushers than the NFL with the longer arms that you have,
the better chance that you have of matching up with them, neutralizing them,
and even winning more reps when you get to that point.
So I figured that I would explain that because you're going to hear that a lot over this week
as people throw a lot of measurements at you.
Let's see.
Quarterbacks, I don't feel like any of them really stood out.
Like, I think this was a week where Kay Klubnik really could have stood out.
And I thought he was fine.
But I felt as though, and I mean, we talked about it in the quarterback episode.
I mean, I had him Q before and I wasn't even super pumped about it.
I mean, I think I had in QB4 and I had a fourth, fifth round grade on him.
And it felt like just that was the quarterback group this year.
So I don't really think a quarterback stood out.
Eli Hendrick, how do you say?
say his name? I think it's Henderreich. Hendrich? Anyways, he is a great utility player. And I think he
looked pretty good out of the backfield specifically. He looked good in the slot when they put him in a
slot as a receiver. So I do like him. I thought that he had a decent week. Oh,
Cole Wisniewski, the safety from Texas Tech. I thought he was excellent. I got to see him in
person on that first day really, really fly around. Hidenreich is how you say his name,
but from the people in the chat. Don't blame me. Blowing the people in the chat.
I thought Cole Wushniewski was awesome.
He was great in one-on-one coverage from the slot.
They used him as a box safety.
They used him as like a linebacker.
I thought his reading, reacting stinks were really good.
I think he was, he's not the best athlete,
but he was able to get to point A, from point A to point B really well.
So I think that he really stood out.
It felt like all week, multiple practices,
because I saw that in person in the first practice.
And then people continue to mention him on Saturday and Sunday.
when I was not there, and I was able to see some of the plays as well from him where he was really able to stand out.
So, oh, there's a question from a huge Iowa fan here.
Can Mark Grinowski, the quarterback, switch over to another position in the pros because he's not an NFL QB?
Funny enough, Grinowski actually might have been the best QB there.
I think he actually got to play, at least from the first couple of days, I actually thought that he had the best, he had the best tape.
of any of the guys who were there.
I don't know if he's going to switch to another position.
I feel like he's probably just going to stick his quarterback
and may probably be a backup in the NFL.
So, wait, wait, why is that, wait, why is that a burn for me?
What did I say?
What did I say?
What did I say?
I said he was good.
I said it was good.
So is Klubnik undraftable?
I don't think he's going to get, I don't think he's going to go on draftable.
I just think that I think a lot of these guys are day three quarterbacks.
I think it'll be interesting to see Nuss Meyer this upcoming week.
I think that like we talked about in the quarterback episode last week,
Fernando Mendoza is going number one overall.
There's not a question about it.
I haven't checked in on the Trinidad Chambliss,
whether he's signing his draft papers or he's going back to college football.
If he goes back, I kind of feel like it's Ty Simpson's also going to go in the top 100.
and then
Garrett Nussmeyer might.
It might, might, might.
But at that point,
I think there's four quarterbacks
max that go in the top 100.
And that depends on whether Trinidad Chambers in the class.
Because if he's not in the class,
I think there's three maximum
that go in the top 100.
So, okay, hold on.
Back to this list.
Let's keep scrolling down a little bit.
Eli Raredin, an interesting part about him,
is I thought he looked fine.
um
Notre Dame had to enlisted at 260 pounds
and maybe it was like 258, 259, something like that.
He showed up 244.
And he played it like 244.
Then I think that he's strong like pound for pound.
But I just thought he was going to show up a little bit bigger.
And I thought he moved decently well.
I thought he was fine.
I thought Eli Radin was one of the better players at Shrine Bowl.
But, um, I just thought it was very interesting.
I did not expect to see 244 on the, on the, on the, on the,
the weight measurements from him.
Dealin Bentley from Utah is somebody who I was not a huge fan of.
I mean, I didn't even mention him when we went through our tight end ranking episodes,
but he was a standout on the first three days of practice.
And he was one of the most consistent tight ends at this event.
I kind of had questions about his overall explosiveness and athleticism when I was watching him at Utah.
And he was just still able to look smooth, look fast enough.
So I thought that he, I thought,
he had a really good week, especially addressing what I felt like was a weakness of his,
which was not looking like he's an NFL caliber athlete.
I'm not talking about him as a top 100 player, but before I was wondering if you draft
a player like that because I didn't think that his athleticism was to that level.
But he was able to stand out pretty consistently at this event.
So I think he's somebody now that we're talking about, not just with a draftable grade,
but we'll talk about how high he could go in the day three of the draft.
So I'll have to go back and watch some more tape now that I've watched him in person.
And maybe my thoughts will change a little bit on him.
Let's see.
Anybody else in this group?
I think that's it.
Let's go to the other group here.
Any new Leportas out there?
Not for the Triangle.
Who's the next day flowers?
Who's the next day flowers?
Dionne Burks.
I have no idea.
That's true.
I just thought of a smaller dude.
Parkour said,
Bentley is an arrow rocketing, is an arrow rocketing up player.
I think after this week, yes.
I think that would be, ooh,
Crimson said Zachariah Branch, maybe the next day flowers.
I think Zay was better as a receiver, though.
Oh, Kaysen Keseepsion is the actual answer.
That's the actual answer for like who would be the, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Casey Kiseption is.
Who's this year's Gray Zabel?
Who is this year's Gray's able?
Let's pull up the big board.
Let's see.
I don't know if there is a Graze Abel, to be honest with you.
Ooh, maybe this year's Grace Able is Brian Parker,
who actually we're going to talk about here in a second
with the West roster.
All right, we'll talk about Brian Parker in a second.
Jaden Kennedy from Oregon.
Maybe my favorite player on Tri-Bull.
I did not know this player at all going into this event.
We hadn't got to corners yet.
I didn't get to that part of the roster.
he was awesome.
And I went back and I watched his tape and did his full scouting eval.
He is on the smaller side.
So his measurables were 5'10, 175 pounds and just 30 inch arms.
So he's on the smaller size for a cornerback.
And he's tricky because I think he moves really well.
He's got fantastic ball skills, 96th percentile,
forced incompletion rate.
I think he had 20 incompletions,
forced incompletions over the last two years.
And he was just so aggressive and confident
covering guys in one-on-one situations from the slot at the Shrine Bowl.
I was just so impressed with what he was able to do.
He also played free safety for Oregon this past season as well.
So he's got, I think, free safety and slot versatility.
Where I get nervous with him is where he is a willing and competitive player.
he's not a super reliable run defense guy because he is 175.
So if you guys who have listened to this podcast for a couple of years,
going back to the reason why I liked Cooper DeGine as much as I did coming out of Iowa,
is because I wasn't really worried about him playing inside and out.
And some people were like, well, is he just a slot?
And I was like, okay, we're not using the words appropriately when you say that.
Just a slot sounds negative.
when you are as good as a run defense player as Cooper DeGine is,
that's not like just a slot type of a player.
You are now a plus,
since everybody loves when I referenced being plus in the numbers
or plus in math plus in the equation,
you are now a plus in run defense as a defensive back.
So that allows you to have nickel personnel on the field,
but you don't feel like you're giving anything up in run defense
because you have a player like that.
Because when you play in the slot,
not only are you playing like maybe smaller shiftier players, maybe some tight ends, whatever,
you're also closer to the line of scrimmage.
So you have to be able to defend the run.
The closer you are to the line of scrimmage, you have to be able to defend the run.
So what worries me about Kennedy is I think he is best when he is covering from the slot.
But when you're in the slot, it also exposed you a little bit more to run defense.
So it worries me a little bit, but I thought he had a really good week.
I really enjoyed watching him play.
Sierra Wright from Nebraska as well.
You want to talk about guys who are athletes.
This dude is a phenomenal athlete.
He was a state champion in track in, I believe, the 100 meter, the 200 meter, and the relays.
No, and the long jump, I think is what he was a state champion in when he was in high school.
I played it USC, I think for the beginning part of his career, if I'm remembered correctly,
and then he played it Nebraska for the last couple of seasons.
You go back and you watch his Nebraska tape and you watch what he was able to do at the Shrine Bowl.
There was not a more fluid athlete on the field for either team.
He was the most explosive and fluid athlete of any player on the field.
He got an interception in the first day of practice.
Now, it was bad throw by Haynes King.
Like, it wasn't even Sierra right actually doing something great.
It was a bad throw by Haynes King.
But he was there.
I'll give him credit for it, right place, right time.
Good trail technique.
I'll say that about him.
But when I watched his tape in Nebraska,
I wished he was more aggressive.
I wish he would trust his athleticism a little bit more
because there were too many plays where,
now I understand like this could be the defensive call and everything,
but there were too many plays where I felt like he was playing it too safe.
There was too much space in between him and where the wide receiver was.
And yes, he was able to come downhill and close in on these guys really quickly once they caught the ball
and not allow a lot of yards after catch.
But I'm sitting here thinking to myself, man, you're so good of putting your foot in the ground
and exploding when the quarterback throws the ball.
I want you a little bit closer.
You're not going to get beat deep.
These guys aren't going to go over top of you.
You're that athletic.
You could turn around with him.
He had some oily hips, as scouts will say, where he's able to turn.
his hips and get into full speed and get into a gallop really quickly.
So I think that this is a player who has all the athleticism that you would want from the
cornerback position.
He just needs to be a little bit more aggressive with it.
And if he can be, guys, I think he could actually be a starter at the NFL level.
So Sierra Wright from Nebraska was a standout for me.
Really enjoyed watching him.
Who else we got?
Kishon James Newby, I thought was a standout as a pass rusher.
Malkai Lawrence, even though he didn't have the 35 inch arms that some people have been saying that he
would throughout the draft process. I think he was still a good pass rusher. He still showed a
variety of different pass-merced moves. I think he's a good finesse rusher. He's a little bit light on
the scale. I think he was about 247 for an edge rusher, but that's fine, especially for the
way that he plays edge. He doesn't look slender. He doesn't look like he's super skinny. So he's
somebody who I think had a decent week. He stood out, I think, the way that you would at least want
him to stand out. Dante Corleone, we didn't get a full week from Dante Corleone, the
defensive tackle from Cincinnati, the godfather, of course, as you guys know him as.
but in the practice that I did see from him,
he did stand out and run defense.
Now, as a pass rusher, pass rush isn't really his game,
but my goodness, he was an anchor.
He was a bowling ball.
He was a fire hydrant all the buzzwords that you want to use
for a sawed-off nose tackle type of a dude.
He was big, he was thick,
he was doing exactly what you want him to do
as that nose-tackle type.
So nothing changed, in my opinion, of him there.
I still think that he had a good week.
Caleb Proctor from Southeast Louisiana was, I mean, the flashes is a pass rusher that he had this year,
or this week at Shrine Bowl were really impressive.
What were his measurements?
Let me find these for you guys.
Caleb Proctor, he is 6'1.5.
275.
So as a defense tackle, he is shorter and he is lighter.
32 and 3 4 inch arms.
His hand usage this week was something that really impressed me.
And I went back and I just looked up his PFF numbers because I didn't.
have time to build a full scouting report for him yet, but I looked up some of the PFF numbers.
And last year and all of the years prior, well, actually, let me let me go, three years ago,
his passers win percentage was like 4.8%. Last year it was like 7.2. This year was around 11.5.
So he's been ascending as a pass rusher, but he's also been a pretty good run defender as well.
So he has been somebody who has actually been a much better run defender than a pass rusher
throughout his entire career. But that's great.
given what we saw at the Triumph Bowl, because you don't expect him to stand out a ton as a
pass rusher. And he absolutely did. So it was those quick hands, those violent hands to just like
knock the offensive linemen's hands away, or maybe it was just like a very quick like club arm over,
you know, swim move type of the thing. I was really impressed with him. I thought he really
stood out. James Thompson from Illinois as well. This is somebody who better run defender than he was
a pass rusher. So naturally he's going to win a lot with power. But that first day that I was
watching him in person, man, even though it wasn't a diverse bag of pass rush moves, he won
with power as a pass rusher. His bull rush move was really nice. I thought his hands were really
fast and active. He had a pretty devastating push pull move, which of course, okay, think about it.
If the ball is snap, you are getting your hands up and into the chest of the offensive
lineman. You are knocking them back on their heels so they don't have that power of their lower half.
and once you get them on their heels, you then shed them and pull them, right?
Push, pull to the side, and you immediately get by them and into the backfield.
What you do is you throw them aside, then you get the hands up, you go get the quarterback.
He had a pretty devastating push-pull move, which is a lot of fun to see.
So if you're more into the power rushing type of defensive tackles,
James Thompson, Jr. from Illinois, somebody that you should get familiar with, I would say.
Keep scrolling out. Brian Parker, Brian Parker from Duke.
So Brian Parker has some fans.
I think he's a really, I think he's a really nice offensive tackle.
Well, he was an offensive tackle for Duke over the last two years.
He started a left tackle.
And I wondered if he would make the same transition over to center.
And I was like, okay, am I just saying that because of like the, I can't get the,
I can't get the Graham Barton comes out of my head with him being a duke.
But they played him mostly at center this past week.
And even though he struggled a little bit at times because he wasn't super used to just playing center,
I thought he recovered very well.
There weren't a lot of reps in which I would see him lose the same way twice, right?
I felt like he was learning very well on the fly.
And I do think that where he's not going to get drafted as high as Graham Barton did.
And we're even seeing Barton still struggle a little bit now still in the NFL.
I think he's been fine.
But at times he's been, he has been one of the weaker links for that Buccaneers.
offensive line because it just it takes a little bit of time.
I think Parker's probably more of that fringe, third, fourth round type of an
offensive lineman that's got some versatility to him.
He played a tackle, best probably inside.
But you feel good about him being at least a swing option if he's going to be a backup
for you.
So I think that I think he was able to stand out the way that he needed to.
Somebody in the chat saying, wait, what did they say about Ted Hurst?
The wider seer from the senior bowl?
Also, is he related to Caden Proctor?
I don't think he is.
I don't think he is.
We got to talk about Trace Mack.
Yeah, Gator Great.
What more is there to say?
Nothing.
He's the go.
It's a long line of Florida kickers.
Tagalog Pearson, Eddie Pinero,
Trace Mack, Caleb Sturgis.
That's all we got, okay?
Let us have it.
Please.
I need something. Armage Reed Adams from Texas A&M. He is a supersized offensive guard.
His measurables were, now this is for a guard, by the way, guys. Six foot five, 317 pounds, 34 and one-fourth inch arm length.
That's tackle stuff. Those are tackle measurables. And yet he's able to play pretty well as an interior offensive line. And I thought he had a good week. I really did. I thought he was.
One of the better interior offensive linemen.
Let's see.
Who else was a standout for me?
I think we do have to.
Yeah, not a lot of.
I mentioned Gradosky was probably the quarterback
that stood out the most from this group, for sure,
maybe of the week as well.
T.J. Hardin played so nice.
She had to listen twice.
All right.
I think I just want to talk about.
where's the wide receiver?
Where's Caden Weegean?
Oh, I will talk about Scott.
Skyler Bell from Yukon.
He just looked like he was the best wide receiver at the event.
He really did.
Jay Michael Sturred Yvant as well from Florida, I think looked like an NFL player.
Now, probably still like a midday three type of an NFL player,
but size, explosiveness, route running, contested catchability.
Like that was at this event, you can go, okay, he'll play in the league.
Like, he'll get drafted.
He'll be a depth wide receiver in the NFL.
So he was somebody who absolutely looked apart there.
and then Skyler Bell from Yukon.
First of all, what was his hand size?
This was hilarious when I saw this.
So he measured in at 5 foot 11, just over 5 foot 11,
187 pounds, 10 inch hands.
Kids got oven mitts.
And he was so reliable as a pass catcher.
He's so slippery.
He's so shifty.
I mean, the short area explosiveness from him is,
it was fantastic, I think, all week.
He just very clearly looked like.
the easiest guy that you go, yep, NFL player.
So he is somebody who I think is going to probably get in that late day two range.
I would say he's probably like a third round pick.
I know some people talk about him maybe as a second round pick could be the case,
but I just thought he had a great week overall.
And then the other player who I just think helped themselves the most is Caden Weegean,
the wide receiver from Iowa.
Caden Weigin was basically just a punt return for them.
And look, we all know Iowa football.
You're running.
They're running.
running the football. That's what they do. They're just not, they're just not a big, like,
passing team. They just, they don't do that. They are, they are a smash mouth, ground,
and pound type of team. Because of that, I don't think Caden Weigent got a lot of action. However,
when I went back and looked it up from this past year, they were throwing the ball to him
at a 27.5% threat rate when he was on the field. So,
I think there's more in the tank for him.
And when I went back and I watched this film,
it's like, man, this dude is a super athlete.
He is, he was, he's a great partner.
He was one of the best partners in the entire country this past season.
And from what we saw at Shrine Bowl practice,
he had some juice.
I mean, he was the player a lot like Malik Washington last year at the Shrine Bowl,
where you just go, this guy's uncoverable.
There's not a, there's not a,
there's not a corner at this event that can go one-on-one with him 10 times and get the better of him 50% of the time.
He was just, he was too good with his hands when he reached defensive backs at the breakpoint.
He was too good with those short bursts, flipping the hips, exploding, very smooth of an athlete.
I thought he was awesome.
I think that Caden Weegeam, I don't know if he would have got drafted.
I don't know what the NFL really thinks of like part-returners and kick-returners at this point.
You know?
I just, I don't know how much they're going to value it just because of how much has changed,
but Wegin can be a great special teams player for you.
He could be a great slot receiver as well.
I think that he is, I think he's worth a draft spot now from what I saw from him at the Shrine Bowl.
So height and weight to Wegent.
Let's see.
He's small.
I mean, there's no question about it.
He was small.
5'8 and 3 fourths.
So just under 5'5 foot 9.
195 pounds though so it's not like he was super small
eight and a half inch hands
29 and 3 eighth
29 and 3 eighths inch arm length
so he's on smaller side he's just a slot receiver
and apartment turn for you but it was good
I thought he had a really good week I thought he was
shoot amongst all the guys he might have been like the biggest standout
he might have made the most money for himself
him and dailan benley I think probably the tight end from Utah
where the guys where I was like okay
I see you I see you guys
guys. I didn't know if they were NFL players before this week, and now I think that both of them
are draftable guys. So there we go. That's, uh, oh, what I think of Dylan Bell?
Big dude, I would say like, I test NFL NFL wide receiver. I think that a lot of the Georgia
guys were, to be honest with you. But I think Dylan Bell's probably like a late day three pick
at this point. It plays with a lot of strength. He, it doesn't separate super well. But a lot of
those guys that are coming from Georgia, like you just don't worry about them physically.
Like some of these players from these like smaller schools, you go like, oh, okay, well,
you dominated your competition level there. Do you have the strength level to be able to play
at the NFL? I don't really worry about that with Georgia guys and Kirby Smart's program.
So I thought he looked the part of what you thought. I've never been the biggest Dylan Bell fan.
I didn't think that he was a great separator. And I thought he was just going to be a contested
catch guy. And outside of great athleticism, it's hard for me to bet on a lot of those guys.
There are few of them that I like to bet on in draft classes. But I thought he looked apart.
I looked at the part of an NFL player probably is like a day late mid to late day three type of guy um yeah nick nick is saying Dylan bell strong dude um great with the ball in his hands you just can't separate consistently right and so that's why it's like i think size and strength combination he's an NFL type of a player but uh kaden weijin's the cliford of scrappy dues
What a comment.
It's actually unbelievable.
We love to see it.
Our game plan of the week, folks, before we get to the wheel of mock drafts,
game plan of the week, brought to you by Western Southern Finance Group,
a game plan for your financial future.
My game plan of the week was they're doing the Patriots,
leaning into Drake May's legs.
Have Drake May had the best postseason?
No, he hasn't.
It hasn't been great for the Patriots' offense overall.
But when they needed him to come up with some big plays,
he's got the freedom, he's got the athleticism,
picked up a couple of really big plays,
the touchdown, the run that sealed it at the end.
The game plan to allow Drake May to be able to be a weapon with his legs.
I love that, especially in a game where the margin for error was very low
given the weather that was down in this direction,
that game, especially in the fourth quarter.
So shout out to Drake May and the Patriots.
Make it to the playoffs there.

Big Mama says, which thoughts on Christian Jones to left tack for MSDSU?
I haven't watched him yet.
But now I got him on the list.
Now I got him on the list.
Peter saying Mickey Mouse ass season and playoff run.
Come on, Peter.
It was easy.
It was easier.
I don't know if it's ever easy in the NFL.
But we got to respect Drake May.
We got to respect Drake May just on this podcast form at the very least.
I mean, all the Drake, Drake May comments might can't be seen the slander here, not around these parts.
Sorry up the wheel of mottrauss.
I have no idea what the evil wheel is.
Have no idea.
Tyler came up with this.
Apparently, you all came up with this.
Apparently, he said he was in the NFL-C Discord,
which, by the way, if you guys have not gotten into the NFL-S-E Discord,
you should.
There's a link to join the Discord in the description of this show on YouTube.
So make sure you find it.
We've got over 3,000 strong in there.
Talk about all sorts of stuff.
Football.
Non-football.
and everything in between.
What's the, what's the, dang, what's the Stephen A. Smith thing?
Crab Rangoon, things of that nature.
I do love that meme.
And crab Rangoon.
All right, Tyler.
Are you, Tyler, are you going to explain to me what the Ebo Wheel is?
Or no.
Do I need to explain it?
I don't know.
I don't know what this is.
Do you need to?
Or are we just going to let fate decide?
And if we live on that, it is.
I'm debating whether we show the addicts what's on the evil wheel.
before it does or does not hit the evil wheel.
I think we leave it mysterious.
Okay.
That's what I think.
If it hits it, then we'll go.
If it hits it, let's go.
Let's go.
All right.
Are we getting a team?
We're getting the evil wheel.
What are we getting here on the wheel of mock draft?
That's the thing you never know.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, my gosh.
No!
Do you rig this?
No, I did you rig this?
Did you rig this?
Did you?
I did not.
I will put it on everything.
I did not.
That's great, though, because now we can't.
It's not actually rigged.
That's crazy.
I don't believe you.
You can just not believe me.
I guess we have to now go to the evil wheel.
What is, no, what is this?
We have to go to the evil wheel.
They think it's scripted.
Actually, I hate that it happened the first try because it actually is not scripted.
Incredible.
The Packers have a 25% chance to get it.
Oh my gosh.
12th Michael said,
Welcome to hell.
I agree.
God, you do not want to see the evil or wheel.
You do not want to see that.
Evil or wheel?
Yes.
There's another layer of hell.
What do we?
Dante's Inferno.
Shout out English class in a nice world.
Okay, so what do we,
so we have on the evil wheel.
Give away 10 hats.
Yep.
Okay.
So Tyler, Tyler doesn't want us to make money.
Nope.
Special teams episode.
So if we hit the special teams episode,
that means that at some point in time,
we have to give the people a special teams episode.
We have to give the people a special team's episode.
Okay.
And then the eviler wheel, I don't know.
It is incredible that first spin,
I'm praying for the Packers.
I'm praying for the Packers.
I really hope it doesn't land on Evil or Wheel.
They're going to think it's actually rigged at that point.
Yeah, yeah, I already do.
I already do.
Well, the problem is, Tyler, is that you gave it a 25% chance.
Oh, it's not going to go.
Oh, no, no, no.
No, wait.
Yeah.
You know what?
That's actually, you know what?
That's actually the best case scenario here.
I love it.
I love it.
The people in the chat are losing their minds as they should be.
Okay.
Okay, everybody.
So I told you guys a couple of weeks ago.
that the new hats did get in.
Now, my plan was I am going to update the store sometime on Friday so that you guys can purchase them on Friday.
I think that we're going to kind of pair it along with when the mock draft episode comes out as well.
We have a lot more hats this time.
They are very similar to the hat that I am wearing right now, except for the fact that this rope here on the new ones is green to match.
the color that's up here and it just lets it stand out a little bit more.
So I am very happy that we get to give away these hats because we got a lot more of them.
And to be honest, for as much as you guys have put up with us waiting to get these hats back as we are a, well, I was kind of one-made shipping operation,
but I have a little bit more help this time around.
Tyler, how do we give away the hats?
We could do it in the Discord or someone says.
said we could let the wheel decide the wheel decide we could we can make a wheel of like all like a bunch
of addicts and then just spit it because you can put as many things that you want on here um
i don't hate doing that but why don't we why don't we set it up through the discord yeah that works
so let's work so guys we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna set it up through the discord so if you're
watching this so if you're watching this you're not in the discord make sure you go sign up
and you get in the discord again the link um we'll try to put it on all of our social media so you can
see it there on Instagram, Twitter, all that good stuff.
And then it'll also be in the description of this episode.
And I think it's in the description of every episode for you guys to join.
It's free.
We will orchestrate a way for you guys to put your names into, oh, ironically enough, a hat.
And we will, you know, be able to, I don't mind the wheel idea.
I think that that's a fun one.
Maybe we'll do it at the end of one of the episodes that we have over the next couple of
weeks or something like that.
But 10 hats.
Charlie's saying selling it.
Hell in a cell for the hats.
Yeah, actually, I like that idea better.
That's not bad.
I do like that idea better.
Okay, so now we go back to, yeah, okay, we go back to the regular wheel.
I mean, we could keep the uncrustable evil wheel on here again.
Oh, my God.
I didn't even realize it was an uncrustable.
You're the greatest producer of all the time.
That's unbelievable.
I did not even realize that that was an uncrustable.
I had to do it.
Why don't we do this?
Can you remove it and then add it back or no?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, so let's take it off.
Let's do it.
Let's make sure that we run through a couple of teams because we only got like a half hour left.
So I want to run through a couple of teams.
And then for the last spin, let's do two spins without it.
And then let's do a third spin, put it back in there.
Yep, sounds good.
So let's see.
Justin, please save my, my Niners.
You just got to move away from whatever that electricity field facility is.
Oh, people are going to be so mad.
Oh, they're going to be so mad.
Oh, my goodness.
They're going to be so mad.
Oh, there we go.
Wow, freshly eliminated.
Bro's acting like it's going to land on the wheel again.
Jeremy, it landed on the wheel on the first try.
And after the travel that I had this past 48 hours,
I might be the unluckiest man in the world.
I said to my wife at one point, like, am I Jonah?
Am I Jonah in the fish?
is this modern-day Jonah story?
I felt like every plane that I was getting on was getting canceled.
Anyways, a biblical reference there for you guys.
There you go.
Okay, so we've got the Denver Broncos here,
which came up just short against Drake, Drake, May,
and the New England Patriots here this past weekend.
Ultimately, guys, I think that this is a team that's talented enough
to certainly get to the Super Bowl.
If Knicks even plays in that game,
full condition is the same.
I think there's a good chance
that Broncos are actually in the Super Bowl here.
but we're going to run three-round mock draft here for them
and see what they could do to get better.
All right, it's fired up.
Where are they picking?
29th?
Like, 29th?
31st.
Should be 30th, actually.
Should be 30th.
But anyways, close enough.
Not really a running back that I would think about here.
I still have faith in R.J. Harvey and J.K. Dobbins
to sort of be the guys next year.
although his Dobbins are free agent, I think he probably would be.
Tight end, you know, if Kenyon Sadiq's here,
I think that that's an easy pick for them as that Joker player, if you will.
Linebacker could make sense for them.
I think I might be leaning linebacker here.
Atlas $5 Super Chat was saying it would be the Book of Job if you landed on the Green Bay Packers
10 times in a row.
It would be very true.
It would be very true.
Brandon saying the discord's going crazy.
Man, who would I, you know what?
Let me pull up Broncos free agents because I have not done a ton of research on the Broncos yet
just because I knew that they were a Super Bowl caliber team.
So they have John Franklin Myers.
J.K. Dobbins is a pending free agent.
But that's about it.
Man, they don't have a lot of guys that they're missing.
or that they're losing.
Adam Trowman's a free agent.
She's Lewis, a free agent,
Justice Trinad, Alex Singleton.
So I think a linebacker could definitely make sense for them.
Is Serat the option here is what somebody says?
They're talking about Elijah Serat,
the wide receiver from Indiana.
I like Serat, but I don't,
I think they already kind of have that in Coral and Sudden,
and I don't know if they want to have another player
that's exactly like that.
Maybe they do,
but I don't think they want to do that
with their first round pick.
I think I'm leaning C.J. Allen here, guys.
I think C.J. Allen feels like a best player available type of approach for them, right?
It's not just like a linebacker.
They're not just forcing a need here.
It does feel like a best player available approach as well with him being on the board.
So I think he makes the most sense.
Christian Miller maybe if you lose John Franklin,
Michael Meyer, but let's see.
Make sure I'm not forgetting anybody that they might have depth on the defensive line.
They have Malcolm Roach who they just resigned.
They have Zach Allen.
Got DJ Jones, Franklin Meyer.
Oh, they drafted saving Jones last year.
I forgot.
Quay Robinson got himself a sack his past season.
Jaday Barron, I think, is still allowing them to get ahead of, you know, Riley Moss being a free agent the following season as well.
Have Chris Abram drain.
Yeah, Justice Trinonaut and Alex Singleton,
being free agents let's go let's go let's go see j allen here i think he's the best linebacker on the board i
think he makes the most sense for them somebody mentioned josiah trotter i i wouldn't mind josiah trotter but
i just kind of think that he's a downhill run defending type and i do like c j allen more than i like
josea trotter so with cj allen on the board i think that i think that he makes the most sense there
okay so now they're on the board here at 63 we hit the linebacker need for them man what tight ends do
have here. So it's basically everybody that's still on the board here at 63, which I think could be
possible outside of Kenyon Sadiq. I actually think that, man, it kind of depends. Like, I think
Sean Payton would have loved Purdue version of Max Clare. But he was a little bit lighter. And we
talked about this in the tight end episode. He just, he put on more weight this past year in a good
way because Ohio State wanted him to be a little bit more of a blocker. And I thought he was actually
pretty good at it.
But would
Sean Payton
want to wait
and go for more of like
a Michael Trigg,
Justin Jolie type,
who is really
much more of like a receiving
tight end.
Like Joe Royer,
I think might be in that conversation as well
once you start getting into like
the late third round
Joe Royer from Cincinnati.
Can I see best player available, Tyler?
What's the chat saying?
Stowers.
Oh, yeah, Stowers is off the border already.
Oh, man, Stowers actually would have been perfect.
I forgot him.
That's Sean Payton's guy.
That's the Joker, if you will.
If Sean Payton has the opportunity to get Eli Stowers,
I think he's going to do it.
A lot of people in the chat are talking about Michael Trigg.
He's inconsistent, but I don't think Sean Payton would shy away from a player like that.
Man, I'd love Chris Brazzell on this team here as well.
I think Chris Brasel would make
I think you would
I think you would make sense
because he could potentially
be the best of the bunch
like they already have Pat Bariont
they have Coral and Sutton
so those are sort of your
your big contest to catch guys
they have more of a Mims and Troy Franklin
but I think that Chris Brasel
has a chance to be better than both of them
can see the board again Tyler
Omar Cooper Jr. as well
I could think about him
I think
I would go
wide receiver
man this is tricky
this is tricky for this team
because there's not an offensive
there's not like an interior offensive lineman
because they had one of the best offensive lines
in the NFL
I don't think they're really losing anybody
no no I'm not going to pick
offensive line
I think he I think Peyton would like
trig I just I feel like 63's
early for him
I'm gonna go I'm gonna go
Chris Brasel I'm gonna go Chris Brasel here
just to continue
to be like, hey, let's make sure that we've got the best passing weapons possible.
And this dude is a, this, he was awesome as a deep threat type of receiver.
Zachariah Branch for this team could have worked as well.
But now I'm going to go tight end.
Now I'm going to look at tight end here for them.
So who's left at tight end?
Oh, man.
Did we blow a chat?
Are we cooked?
Are we cooked, chat?
We might be cooked, chat.
Hmm.
All right, what about interior offensive linemen?
Somebody who's saying that Ben Powers might be a cap casualty for them.
Powers playing that left guard spot.
Oh, Keelan Rutledge, I don't mind.
The Jacks took chest hours, Anjoli.
That's funny.
Tide-in passing game, baby.
14 personnel.
Oh, I don't mind Armage Reed Adams.
Just talked about him for the Shrine Bowl.
I like Keelan Rutledge as well.
Man, he's an ass kicker in the Power Run game.
I kind of like him.
him. I'm leaning him for offensive
line because I don't really want to
well, is Joe Royer still there?
Was Royer still there or
at tight end? Sorry, Tyler.
Yeah, let's see Joe Royer.
Joe Royer is at least the
receiving tight end. I know some people are shouting
out Sam Rausch. Connor likes Sam Rauch a little bit
more than I do, but I think he's a good
athlete. He's just unrefined as a receiver
whereas Joe Royer, that is what he
did. So if we
want a receiving option there from
the tight end spot, I think that Joe Royer is
somebody who gives them the ability to do that.
So let's take Royer here.
I don't know exactly what's going to happen with their offensive line.
So I'm not I'm not super convinced that they'd take an offensive line selection.
C.J. Allen, Chris Brasel, Joe Royer, would have loved to have gone linebacker in round
one, would have loved to go Eli Stowers in round two.
And then probably we're talking about, you know, Zachariah Branch was on the board still
in round three.
I don't know if he's still going to be there in round three because it feels like his stock is
going up and up.
But maybe at that point, you're talking about offensive linemen as well.
So I would have liked this a lot more if we prioritized Eli Stowers with that second round pick, but he didn't make it to us.
This is what we pivoted to.
All right, there we go.
That's the Broncos draft there.
Okay.
Let's –
I said Brian went to the Jags.
Another tight end.
All right.
Let's fire up another wheel here.
Another spin of the wheel.
Let's get into it.
Who's tied in two now?
Eli or Claire.
I think it just depends on what team.
I think there are going to be a lot of teams that like Eli Stowers is tied in two.
you've got to be kidding me.
They're going to say I rigged it, dude.
What do you mean they're going to, what do you mean?
Tyler, what do you mean they're going to say?
You rigged it.
I'm going to say you rigged it.
I don't even know how to prove it.
You picked the one episode where I'm on my own?
I don't have, I don't, I don't have Connor here with me to go through this.
Connor not only gets the day off, doesn't have to do anything.
He also doesn't get the Packers?
Hey, blame the wheel, not me.
All right.
I'm just the guy who clicks the button, all right?
You know, I'm kidding.
Okay.
We had a 25% chance to get the Green Bay Packers when it was the evil wheel.
What was the percentage?
Do you type in the percentage?
I just know it was one third of what everything else was.
So it's probably like less than 5% or something.
Yeah.
We got hooked.
Somebody said Connor doesn't get to suffer.
All right.
Let's pull it up, baby.
Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay Packers do not have a first round pick of this three-round mock draft that we are doing for them
because they have Michael Parsons.
This is a team that obviously if health was much more on their side,
they probably feel a lot better about their Super Bowl chances this year.
I would have felt that way as well.
I felt like when this team was a lot close to fully healthy,
certainly when they had Tucker Kraft, when they had Michael Parsons.
And the tackles, I know we're hurt for this team.
The offensive line in general was going through.
some injuries for this team as well. Josh Jacobs was banged up.
Jordan Love was banged up, obviously.
There's just so many things happen with this team. Ultimately, they just need to stay
healthy, but how can we kind of like take them over the top?
Defensive line, cornerback, somebody shouting out kicker as well for this team.
O line, maybe, but they invested some picks and some salary cap with Jordan Morgan
and then also with Aaron Banks, the previous year.
I'm not so sure they're going to jump in on offensive line again right off the bat,
but let's fire it up.
So they don't have a first round pick.
I'm looking at corner and defensive line mainly for this team.
Wide receiver potentially.
Some people are shouting out wide receiver as well.
So they don't pick until 52 here in the second round.
Ooh, it's funny because Jake Golda, head linebacker is their type as a big, long linebacker
prospect and they're probably losing Quay Walker to free agency.
Now, I will say though, they do have Tyron Hopper who was really good in the preseason.
So I wonder, like, do they feel good enough about him that they're okay with it?
Tony Lee just gave us a $100 super chat.
He said, when you started the wheel of mock drafts, I said I'd donate $100 if you hit the Packers.
sorry, Tram. Tony, we appreciate you. Thank you. Thank you so much. You are, you are the best.
We appreciate you being an addict and we appreciate you being a man of your word as well.
I will try to make sure that this Packers mock draft is worth the donation that you gave here.
Oh, Leigh Hunter. Leigh honor, I like it.
Because what's their, what's their ideal situation? Because when DeVante Wyatt got hurt, it was different for this team.
Now they have Warren Brinson as well.
They've got Carl Brooks.
Does that keep you from drafting Lee Hunter, though?
I don't know if it does.
Lucas Van Ness, kind of an inside out, dude.
Roshan Gary's just been disappointing.
Not that he's terrible.
He's just, I thought the duo of him and Michael Parsons is going to be a lot better.
Lord knows they're not going to draft the Angelo Ponds.
Too small.
Is Lee Hunter?
No, no, Lee Hunter's got the girth.
Oh, wait, what did Peter do?
What did Peter do?
Oh no, he asked a question that I don't know the answer to.
Oh, it's a salute.
07's a salute.
Peter, we're both learning something new here on the show.
I think Lee Hunter's going to be my pick,
because there's not another, can we see, can we see,
Tyler, do you see corners?
The only guy that they think about here is Dailen Everett,
but I think that we have an opportunity with our next pick,
because our next pick is 84.
There's a chance Dale and Everett's there.
there's a chance Julian Neal is there who is definitely their type.
Will Lee, I think, is also their type with his size and length.
I think we're kind of targeting one of those three guys for outside corner for them.
But I think it makes the most sense for the interior defensive line at this spot.
Can we just see defensive tackles?
Because I think Lee Hunter is winning this debate here.
Yeah, I mean, it's Lee Hunter or Big Citrus for me.
That's what I'm focusing in on.
and Hunter, I think's got a little,
Conner's got more quicks than Orange does,
more potential as a pass rusher.
Yeah, let's go Lee Hunter.
I think Lee Hunter is going to be the pick here for them.
Derell Jackson, it obviously fits what the Packers do
because he's got the size and like combination
that we were talking about a little bit earlier.
But he's not nearly as good of a overall player
as Lee Hunter was this past season.
So let's go back to corner.
Now we're hitting it.
It's in an 84.
So we only got Willey left.
Can you click on Willey, Tyler?
And can you go to first look?
Yeah, so he's over six feet tall.
He's around 6'1.
So I do think that he's going to have the long arms and the height that the Packers want.
Man coverage ability there as well, 76.6%.
I think this is probably their guy.
Although, can I just see the overall board here?
is there a best player available that we might be missing
Doreau Jackson Jr. still there?
That's funny.
I don't like linebacker.
We can talk about linebacker again,
but I don't think Jacob Roderia is going to be their type
because I don't think he's going to test as well athletically
as they want him to.
And I don't think he's as big.
If they were going to go linebacker,
I think they would have taken Jake Golda
where we were picking before at number 52.
I think all signs are pointing to Will Lee here.
Getting a corner at 84.
Will Lee had some first round hype going into the season.
season, top 50 and first round hype.
I never really saw that high of a projection with him,
but I do still think that he is a good and talented corner,
especially in man coverage situations.
Bryce is saying that Jonah Coleman and Josh Jacobs would be a mean one-two punch.
I do agree with that just because I like Jonah Coleman,
but I don't think that they would take,
I don't think they would take Coleman over taking a chance at corner.
Um,
Peter said,
Carson Beck has to be the pick here,
draft love successor.
It's true.
This is around the time that they do it.
You know,
so you got to,
you do have to think about those things.
No,
let's go with Willie.
I think Willie is to pick for the Packers here.
Ooh,
somebody said,
um,
Malik Muhammad as well.
And Malik Muhammad could be,
could be an option for them.
Muhammad's not as big,
though.
What's,
what's he listed at?
I thought he was a little bit smaller of a defensive pack.
It listed six foot 188.
Yeah, I mean, he's probably around six foot.
I think it leaves a little bit, I think the Lee's a little bit bigger.
I think Lee's going to be a little bit more of their type.
And with them being around the same, I'm going to go with the guy who probably checks the threshold box a little bit better.
So a B. Plus of a draft there.
My hell is over.
We're getting the Packer.
Oh, no, we're not getting the Packers off because if we put the evil wheel back on and we get the evil wheel,
then we're going to spin it.
And now it's going to be a 33% chance that we're doing another mock draft for the Green Bay Packers.
So let's fire it up.
Let's see what fate has for us here.
That was Packers' mock draft.
Lee Hunter, getting a little bit better on the interior defensive line.
Will Lee getting them a little bit better at outside corner.
Hezekiah Mass is snubbed.
Just the biblical names all over the place, biblical references all over the place here on this show.
Had the story of Joe, guy named Hezekiah.
It's all over the place.
Oh, Bryce, good question here.
Who's going to be the new mock draft review?
since Mike McCarthy left PFF.
That's actually a good question.
I think we're going to have to circle back to that.
We're going to have to meet internally,
see which coaches don't get.
It might be Mike Tomlin.
Could be just a one in one out situation.
Maybe we can Mike Tomlin to come down to PFF.
Be able to do that for us.
All right.
Okay, you put the evil, Uncrestable back on.
Let's do it.
Let's do one more spin here for this episode.
For the wheel moch.
See what we got.
He refers.
creating the mothrass.
All right, no evil wheel.
No evil wheel.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, too much.
America's team.
My family's going to love this.
Ooh, shout to the chef's
There you go.
Your family's big cowboy fans?
Yep.
I didn't know that.
Interesting.
What, are you a Cowboys fan?
No, I'm a Bears fan.
My mom's a Bears fan.
The rest of my family's Cowboys fans.
Mother does no best.
She does.
And you're smart.
You're smart.
There you go.
Yeah.
Okay, let's do it.
But Dallas Cowboys.
Aaron said edge linebacker and running back.
I agree.
I also would think that their safety spots and potentially even corner.
I don't know if there's a defensive position that the Cowboys have that I feel great about.
Obviously, they do have Savon Reble on the outside, who was getting back to form after playing football for the first time since Terran's ACL last year.
They have Doran Blan, but they no longer have Trayvon Diggs.
They have TriQuest Bridges.
They have Kalin-Karsin.
but do you feel like you need to draft another corner at some point for this team?
Donovan Wilson, Malik Hooker, do you feel like you could upgrade its safety?
Because I do not feel like the safety's played well for them this past season.
Actually, is Malikooker a free agent?
I think he might be.
Donovan Wilson is a free agent.
Okay, so just Donovan Wilson is a free agent.
So Malikooker is not.
But Giovante Williams is a free agent for them.
Judeavian Clowny is.
Kenneth Murray is at the linebacker level.
George Pickens is too, but I figure that he is going to be.
be brought back because of the year that he had.
All right, three-hour mock draft Dallas Cowboys.
Let's do it.
Let's make sure that we nail this one for Tyler's family.
So picking 12, ideally I would love one of Ruben Bain, David Bailey, Sunny Stiles.
They're not available.
They're not available.
I see a lot of people mocking Keldrick Falk to the Cowboys.
I don't really love that for them.
I think they need a pass rusher.
I think that you can get guys who are run defenders,
but I think they need more of a pass rusher type.
So I'm not really considering Keldrick Falk here for this team.
If anything, Cassius Howell is the player that I would consider for them at edge rusher.
Just plays a million miles an hour at all times.
he's got shorter arms he's got really short arms but um if the cowboys can overlook that he was he was a
he had an elite pastor's grade in each of the last three seasons really high passers win rate for his
entire career i mean production wise this is the player that the cowboys would want if caleb downs
was here i think that you think about downs as well you're not really thinking about the offensive line
uh jeremiah love is off the board as well this is a tough draw for
Dallas.
Man, even Mansour Delane goes right in front of you.
I mean, like,
Jamon McCoy,
yeah, it could be an option for this team,
but you just drafted a player who's coming off an ACL tear.
Are you going to draft another one?
I don't, I just don't think that they would do that.
You don't really need Caden McPounder
because of Quentin Williams and Kenny Clark in the middle there.
They don't need offensive line.
I mean, I draft Cassius Howell above T.J. Parker, although I like T.J. Parker.
I think in this situation, if I'm Dallas, I'm probably trading down.
I'm not going to do a trade down in this scenario.
But, well, I guess it all just depends on who.
Because I really do think that, look, everybody knows that I'm super high on him from having him edge two in the edge rush your episode.
But like, Akeem Messador is perfect for this team.
He steps on the field right away and produces immediately.
Now is he going to go as high as 12 overall with his age?
probably not, but I think this is a perfect fit for Dallas.
Hmm.
You know what?
They only have picked 20.
Tyler, can you scroll down on the order?
Anybody trading up?
They have 12 and 20.
That's all they've got here.
So you could, I mean, they could draft the team at 20.
Maybe you do, maybe they do draft Jermon McCoy here at 12 and then a key mess door at 20.
I wish they had a chance at down.
Somebody in the chat earlier was saying, like, Jerry's got to be on the phone because Bain, Bailey, Downs, and then who's the other one?
styles.
Those four players.
I mean, Arville Rees as well, but I don't think they're trading up in the top three.
Like one of those four players falling anywhere close to you, I think that you're, I think that you're thinking about it.
I think that you're thinking about making a move, even with as few draft picks as they have.
Tyler, I'm going to do it, though.
I'm going to take, I'm going to take Jermon McCoy here.
because I think he's the best man coverage corner in the draft.
And then I'm going to take a key Mestore 20.
Because I genuinely think that this is exactly what the Dallas Cowboys need.
I wish I could have picked Mansour Delane at 12 because I think he,
I think Mansoor Delane has a little bit more slot and outside versatility,
which I think could help the cornerback room with Dron Bland and Mansour Delane.
And then Simone Rebel hopefully getting a lot better and more.
confident the further he gets away from that ACL tear. But,
Jermon McCoy is sort of like your lockdown, shut down, outside corner. I think that you
could move to Ron Blaine to the inside as well. I think you can get a safety that you feel
pretty good about in free agency. And Akeem Messador is just, for as much as people talk about
his age, he is a plug-in-play player. And there just aren't as many of those as we like to admit
that there are every single draft class. But Akeem Messador, in my opinion, is truly a plug-and-play
guy. He is so detailed in what he does.
He is just such a great combination of handwork and detail getting out of his stance, winning with speed, winning with power, 6'2, 265 pounds.
He can hold the line of scrimmage as well.
If you want to rotate in a little bit more of odd front stuff, then I think that they have the ability to do that as well because they have Kenny Clark, they have Queen Williams, they have Osay Diggizua.
Like those guys can be your three down front players.
And then you could have Donna Manezorakou and Akeem Messador on the edges.
So I really do think that this is exactly what the Dallas Cowboys need.
Do me a Key Mestor?
I love this.
I love this.
I have no idea how Cowboys fans feel about it.
I can understand some of the feelings of not love and Jermon McCoy, but to this place.
And I really do feel like these two players are potential starters and impact players for Dallas.
because I wouldn't have really looked anywhere else.
These are the positions that they want,
and these I think are the right players at the positions that they would be adding.
There we go, Dallas Cowboys.
Somebody said I did a good job.
Oh, somebody also named Trevor said that it did a good job.
So there's a little bit of insider trading there.
There's a little bit of bias going on there.
But Trevor, I really appreciate it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Appreciate it.
There we go.
