The Wizards and Anthony Davis, Agent Rich Paul, have decided to wait and talk for the potential extension until after the season starts. AD becomes eligible today to sign an extension worth up before years $275 million. One source of Sean. This gives both sides the first 20 games to marinate on whether to pay AD or not.

So when you're judging LeBron, you're looking at a guy of the greatest players of all time

I don't know why he gets the scrutiny that he gets.

I've been on four different teams, and I've been an all-NBA selection on all of them. Probably no. Every team that I've played for, going to an NBA finals. Three of those are four teams that I've been on. I've won an NBA finals. I've won a finals MVP. Yeah,

We used to work out in the same gym when I was in L.A. And I see it. And we always mess up. We end up for an hour and mess up our workout because we're talking basketball.

We expect loyalty from the players, but we don't demand loyalty from the organization. The organization says, we're doing what's in the best interest of the organization. A player does what's in the best interest. Oh, he's running from time. He's running. He's chasing rings.

What are teams chasing? Why did Miami trade for Yonis? You don't think they're tracing rings? Yeah, yeah. Why did the 76th trade for Jalen Brown? You don't think they're chasing rings? What are we doing here? If you're in a sport, aren't you trying to win said championship of your sport?

I would like to think so. Now maybe everybody's not under that same. Everybody ain't trying to win. Everybody's just because you're going to make X amount of dollars whether you win or lose. Okay, I get all that. But I just don't get this. So now the man can be, it would be great if guys could stay. like the old Celtics.

You know, for the most part, those guys stayed there. And Elgin Baylor stayed there. And Jerry West stayed there. But it's not like that anymore. Guys, y'all know that B. Scott, you know in today's game, football ain't the same. Guys move. Baseball ain't the same. Baseball always were traded their guys.

Can that's your question, guys? Let's just say for the sake of argument, when Kobe asked for a trade, he goes to, Chicago and win a championship. And then all of a sudden, after several years, he goes to another team and wins another championship. As he looked, how's he viewed?

He's still going to be great. Yeah. I've never seen anything like this. Man, if the man got into a scam, they won't LeBronty be into a scandal so bad. That's what it is. They want, because he, you can't be this perfect. Ain't no way, you ain't got no speeding ticket.

that will say you're better than LeBron James. The only two players that will say you are better than LeBron James are yourself and Dennis Rodman. As the other 50, all 50 NBA players, if they think you better than LeBron. At what? Defense. You're not a better score. You're not a better rebounder.

You're not a better facilitator. You don't shoot the ball better than he did. You couldn't drive the ball better than he could. So I'm trying to figure out other than play defense, what could you do better? I've got to stop this, man. Come on now. The man ain't perfect. The man is not perfect.

And I'm not feeling to sit here and tell nobody. LeBron James is perfect. He's not. He's made some missteps. But this is getting outrageous here. This man said, would ask who's great, I have six rings. Do you want individual accolades or championships? I want them both.

Because one thing, one thing you do know about Mr. Brown, if there's a coach in the contract, he's going to play that entirety of that contract out. He's not fighting. This is a chance and opportunity to go to a team where the supporting cast is extremely stellar. We don't have to do that much. I think this is a team where he doesn't have to carry the load. He has Maxie. He had Jalen Brown. He has Eskim. He has an MB.

So that is like, to me, excuse my reference in analogy and use. and in football sense with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They needed one piece to get over the hump. Coming off one season with Joe, when they had James Winston, it was this 30-30 year,

30 touchdowns with a phenomenon but he had 30 interceptions. I think that missing piece to the Philadelphia 6 is trusting the process piece that can get them to their end goal is adding LeBron to that team and this might be the year

So the only thing left to do is, for those, they got to find something wrong with it. They got to. And every time they throw something at him, he'd come back with something else. And he's still going at this age, still playing quality basketball at his age, still one of the best in the game at his age. Of course, people aren't going to like that. And the funny thing about it is most of the hate and some of the hate is coming from those that played on the same type of hardwood he did.

and trying to make it a part of history. Going to Philly is definitely a risk.
