Just a little bit bigger hips.
This is a podcast.
We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.

Joe Ocho, USA Today,
USA Today listed their top 25 greatest basketball players of all time.
And here's the order.
Michael Jordan is the number one spot.
LeBron was two.
Kobe was three.
Steff was four.
Excuse me.
Kareem is five.
Magic is six.
Larry Bird is seven.
Bill Russell is eight.
Wilk Chamberlain is nine.
Shaquille O'Neill is 10.
And then we go Tim Duncan,
Kevin Durant, Alan Iverson,
Oscar Robinson,
Elgin Baylor, Jerry West.
Julius Irving, Moses Malone, Kevin Garnett, Charles Barkley, Carl Malone, David Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, John Havlicek, George Makin.
The top 10, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Russell, Chamberlain, O'Neill.
What you like, what you like, what you dislike?
I don't know if I can really dispute any of that.
I mean, because if you, if you take something,
who you, if you're putting somebody else in,
who the hell you're taking out?
Kareem ain't the fifth greatest player
ever played in the NBA.
He's just not.
Not with six NBA championships.
Not with six MVP's.
Not, he's the second all-time lead score.
Not with the second most points,
the third-most rebounds.
Ain't no way in hell.
Oh, you say he need to be up higher.
Hell yeah.
Who are you taking out?
I put him in front of Kobe and staff.
Yeah.
You know,
they don't show the big man a lot of love for real.
All he got,
all he had, Joe,
was the most unstoppable shot ever created in basketball.
That's all I know.
Six MVP's.
Do you believe,
do you believe there'll be another player
to win six MVP's?
Six MVP.
How many of the Bronwyn?
Three, four?
Four.
four in a five year span
Jordan got five
Russell has five
LeBron and Chamberlain both have four
Larry Bird has three
Magic Johnson has three
That's gonna be hell
I get six boy
Well that's what he has
Six
Six
Six MVPs
Six championships
Two finals MVP's
The third most rebounds
And the second most points
Why do you think he don't get the respect
Why do you think he don't get that
respect.
Because Kareem
was,
Kareem was honorary.
He was a surly.
And
say his name
for me.
Kareem Abdul-Jabar.
Okay.
That was not his
God-given name.
He spoke out against
things on a time
when that was very,
very unpopular.
Right.
Kareem may play.
Yeah.
Kareem,
where I leave.
When they...
At the Sunday
in Cleveland,
and I think that was
67,
there you
go. Here you go, Jordan. Here, take this.
He didn't call it through the screen. Yeah, man. He don't call whatever
Ocho got. No, you ain't doing nothing.
Hold on. This list and bulljad.
Without Akeem Elijah won, I'm throwing the whole list away.
I don't even want to discuss it no more.
You mean to tell me they ain't got Akeem Elijah on on this list?
Oh, yeah, they're tripping.
Akeem Elijah won. Ain't on the list.
man
y'all kicked rocks
who came up with the list
on
USA today
let me make sure
maybe I miss something
ain't no way
I'm taking David Robinson
over Keem Elijah won
ain't nobody
taking David Roberts
and over Keem Elijah Juan
I'm not so sure fans
in San Antonio
taking David Robinson
over Keem Elijah one
the dream
come on now
y'all
y'all doing too much
yeah I don't know
how
you get in the reaction
that you wanted
you wanted to rage
y'all wanted to get some
clickbakes and you did it
I get it.
That is some bulljive.
Ain't no way David Robinson better than the king.
No.
Ain't no way.
He was a hell of a talent.
Yes.
We're not debating that.
Hell no.
Damn.
Hell, just to be on the list is achieving in itself.
You know what I'm talking about?
Yes, so.
I would tell you a guy that don't get no damn credit.
Who?
Tim Duncan.
Big fundamental.
Tim Duggan don't get no credit, guys
That's because they say his game was born
He was a picture
I don't know
I don't either
He was a baller
Like he got it done
Bro
Ever since he's joined the Spurs' hell
They probably
They probably never even missed the playoffs
Maybe once
Because he was hurt
But
I don't know if they missed it then
Yeah he turned their franchise around
Yeah
I'm talking about from a rookie
Yes
Yeah
He's a three-time finals MVP, a two-time league MVP.
How many time all-N-BA?
How many time all-defensive?
Yeah.
He didn't know where it helps.
Different times.
15-time all-N-BA, 15-time all-defensive team.
Hey, he did, what he did, he did three years in college, came out of junior year?
No, he came out, he stayed the whole time.
They see it, oh, yeah, that's rough.
That ain't going to happen.
He and Kenya Martin are.
the last guys to be seniors
and go number one overall. Kenyon was
the last one and I think Kenyon did it in 2000.
Wow.
You didn't get that no more.
Ain't no damn way.
They ain't got Elijah one on the list.
They got Tim Duncan that
let me go. They get me mad.
I love Carmelon.
I love all the guys.
They ain't better than Elijah one.
Hey, that's what the list is there for.
It's to piss you on.
It is.
Because I saw a list.
Hold on.
They got the greatest songwriters.
I think the New York Times.
Did you see the list about the New York Times?
They ain't got no Stevie Wonder.
You know what?
I ain't for to get upset.
Y'all ain't been to get upset.
But y'all don't even make me send my soul to hell.
A Kentucky man says jazz kicker,
Young Way,
cool.
The cool is the either part.
is that H.O.
Have saved his life after coup,
botched the field goal against the Patriots.
Therbreadt trainer.
Mark Tohaker
says he laughed so hard
at the midst that he triggered a violent seizure
which sent him to the hospital.
A CT scan then revealed a tennis ball-sized tumor
on his brain.
Doctors removed the tumor.
Toot Haker reportedly has no long-term damage.
He says,
Coup, Miss, was a miracle because the seizure could have happened
while he was driving or somewhere much more dangerous.
That's crazy.
That's a crazy story,
especially for the fact that they found your seizure
based on someone's mistake,
someone's miss, and you laughing at somebody.
Oh, hey, that's crazy work.
Damn.
Young hole, Coo.
We were butching his name, bro.
Young way.
Ain't know, you see?
Young weight.
Our hiding is Young Way.
Oh, young weight?
Okay.
Hold on.
So the man was laughing so hard that he,
that he, what, passed out or something?
Yeah, it triggered a violent seizure.
So he ended up having a seizure.
They take him to the hospital.
A CT scan revealed he's got a tennis ball-sized tumor on his brain.
Oh.
Damn.
That's a good thing.
That ain't nothing but
that ain't nothing but a blessing that way.
He saved a man a lie,
oh, Joe, Joe.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah.
He probably called some Falcons fans
so they damn like, though,
miss all the damn field goals he missed.
That's why they got rid of him.
Damn.
That's what they got rid of him in Atlanta.
That's what they got rid of him in Atlanta.
But to go back, Joe,
ain't no way.
Ain't no way, Kareem
Kareem can't get past three.
Kareem
can't get past three.
He can't.
You got a good valid point.
You're right.
Oh, Joe, he can't.
I mean, no.
Look, everybody knows that I think
LeBron is the goal.
And I think, I've been very clear on this.
I think the three greatest players ever
was Kareem, Jordan, and LeBron.
people go back and forth
ain't no way
Kareem is the fifth
greatest player all time
not with all those awards
not with it
so what are you saying
he got you went to 10 finals
he won six
he got six MVP's
he got finals
MVP's led to league
and scoring
he's led to league in rebounding
he's a 19 time NBA
All-Star he's probably
how many times did Karim make all NBA
see I think the thing you have Joe
if we didn't see said player
15 time all NBA
how many time all defensive
11 times
if we don't see a player
it's crazy
it's kind of like rappers
if you didn't hear
KRS 1
if you didn't hear
Rock Hill if you didn't hear
those guys
you didn't hear Big Daddy Kane
it's hard for you to put
them in place
of guys that you currently hear
absolutely
he's a two time scoring champ
two time block champ
how many time retime
four-time block champ, how many time rebound the camp?
Damn.
You got to realize, Kareem, I mean, Kareem had season 31 and 17, 32, and 13.
The whole season?
Yes.
Yeah.
He's a bad boy now.
You can make the case, if you combine his high school, college, and NBA, he's the greatest
player in history of basketball, and it's not close.
Nobody is close.
When you compare high school,
college and NBA.
It's not close.
Talking about from a winning standpoint.
He lost two games in college.
Yeah.
Yeah, from a winning standpoint, you're right.
It ain't close.
It ain't close.
He's a three-time champ.
Freshman could not play when he came in.
He's a three-time NCAA champ.
He's a three-time player to year.
He's a three-time most outstanding player.
He's a six-time NBA champ.
He's a six-time MVP.
He's a two-time final of MVP.
A 15-time player.
all NBA, 11 time all defensive.
Damn.
With an unstoppable move.
The most unstoppable move ever created in basketball.
Tell me somebody got a move.
I like Jordan Fadeaway.
I like Dirk one-legged.
I like Kevin Durant.
I like LeBron.
I like Arkin dream shake.
But ain't nothing.
There's no basketball shot ever created
that can touch the skyhook.
And you know how I know?
how many when dirt did the one leg step back everybody do the one leg step back you just do it
derad does it to turn around the dream shake everybody does it elvin hayes was the first one to do
to turn around dream shake perfecting it lebron does everybody tell me how many players you see
throw the sky hook with regularity and he wasn't throwing it from three to five feet he was throwing
it from 15 to 18 yeah imagine who his teammate were throwing it and they called it the baby sky hook
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, you think women can get to that sky hook?
Man, he's going to throw that ball over the damn top of the back,
you know.
It's so damn tall.
Yeah, he might be the only person who can get to that sky hook on real time.
But I think the thing is, though, Joe, with any move, you've got to practice it.
And it doesn't look at it.
I mean, you people like, oh, the granny shot and all that other stuff.
Rick Bair shot the percentage.
Look at what Rick Baird shot from the free throw line
shooting the granny shot.
Damn.
We like stuff that look good, Joe.
If it looked good, we'll do it.
If it don't look good, I can't mess with it.
That's why the players continue to get more skilled
each and every error.
You get more skill, more skill.
It's okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I'm okay with that, Joe.
It's hard for errors to understand.
The players are getting better.
They know more.
Yeah.
They know more.
They take, they're able to take, it's kind of like medicine.
So you think the doctors in the 50s are more skilled than what they are today?
No, because the doctors no more.
Yeah.
They got better equipment.
They got better medicine.
Yeah.
But only players in the era don't feel like the players can supersede what they did.
Everybody else understand.
Medicine is better.
Every technology is better.
You think the technology that they had in the 30s, 40s, 40s, and 50s, and 60s
is comparable to what they had in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and currently now?
No, son.
No, you wouldn't think that.
No.
But I don't know why players refuse to give that up.
They call evolution.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You said, y'all did what y'all wanted to do.
Yep.
To get us.
When they come out with the 50 greatest rappers or the 50 greatest R&B singers or the 50
greatest band or the 50 greatest whatever.
Now, but I got to throw
you a currant ball, Ocho, because if we
get it close to right, you're not going to talk about it.
Yeah, you can't. I did you to talk about it.
It's got to start a debate.
You got to throw a little
controversy. Throw a little monkey wrench in there.
Yeah. They got
they got Keem Elijah on this thing.
They ain't even got, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're
on the list, Joe. And they got Bill
Russell on that? Yeah, they got Bill
Russell in the uh uh uh Bill Russell is eight it's eight
Hey, hey on another note shout out shout out to the nightcare fam for that black street
cover that uh that uh hey hey no digity hey way listen hey you work hey well look my mom used to bump
that okay Ojo you hear me yeah what I would throwback super throwback
yeah we uh we but they definitely had it right
Because that's as far as I can be able to get down.
I wouldn't go in no lower than that.
If I was like I did, I wouldn't be able to get up.
Hey, well, I don't know.
Whoever that is over there, they know a little something, something.
They know a little something.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, they put it down now.
Oh, yeah.
I ain't been holding the whole of them.
Hey, the graphics team, y'all been hitting it out of the park.
I'm telling you.
Doing a one-two, boy.
send y'all some coupons
and
ask that she's going to find
that your favorite restaurant to eat
because we know
every time I call this girl
she's somewhere eating
hey look
I'm on a meeting
oh let me got a place disorder
Hey hey I'm going to be out there early
man why I need to go eat there? What's the spot out there, eh?
Hey, Joe, hit your boy.
We'll talk about it.
All right, Ben.
Hey, Ojo, how you doing, man?
I told you where to go, Joe.
Where?
Grits Cafe for breakfast,
soul food cafe for lunch.
You coming?
You coming with your people, or you coming by yourself?
Uh, my lady may come with me.
But I'm coming down.
You know, they got the big three draft on the May 7.
Okay.
But I'm probably get down there.
I'm probably get down there on like the fifth, though.
May 7?
Yeah, I got a few traps.
I got a check when I get down there.
Oh, you got a few?
Hey, we'll be here because we don't lead till.
When we lead, Jordan, like the 10th?
Or May.
I think we'll be here, Joe.
We go, you know, you like steak.
I got a good steak restaurant.
Oh, yeah.
If you like Italian, I ain't really no big Italian,
but if you want to go, you know.
Yeah, no, well, I can do steak.
I can do steak.
I hit you and see what you got going.
I know a good food truck.
Yeah.
What kind of food they got?
Three-on-three is one of the best food trucks in them.
You heard of it?
Look at the ass, you ever heard?
Yeah.
This guy, how she's done.
If I mentioned a place, oh, yeah, oh, yeah.
I went that other night.
I showed these arrests.
If you get your ass in the bed and stop going to try food at 1 o'clock in the morning,
you can get some rest.
But, no, this is a bulljide.
And we didn't get to the top, the 50 greatest top songwriters,
or we'll do that tomorrow, or rappers.
But they got some bogey out there too.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
Yeah, it's all meant to start a little controversy.
Well, they did it.
They started it.
Yeah.
Draymond Green believes he could have made up more of an offensive mark on his individual level
if Steve Kerr didn't prevent him from.
doing so. As much as he done for me basketball, a part of me thinks he's hindered me in my
career and what I could have become. But what he's also helped me become, like, you've got to
take the good with the bad, man. You know, when I think of who I am offensively as a player
and who I became, I think part of that is due to him. I don't hold that against him. I'm forever
grateful, and that still put me in position to be successful, and that's what I could
become Draymond Green, despite of my offensive role on the team.
Hold on. Hey, John, Uncle Joe, is he saying he could have been more of an offensive weapon? Yes.
More of an offensive weapon?
He believes he could still be the same defensive player, but more of an offensive player if Steve Kerr would have encouraged it or put him in a situation where he can't succeed.
Now, we do remember Joe, that game seven in the NBA finals, he was a rep, he was a assist short of a triple double.
He had 32, 15, and nine, if I'm not mistaken.
He did. He did. I think when Draymond came to Golden State, Uncle Ocho,
you know he was coming off the bench early. He wasn't starting.
Mark Jackson had it. If I'm not mistaken, Mark Jackson had coming off the bench.
Yeah, he had them coming off the bench. I think Bogie was starting on.
Yeah, Bobi. He had somebody else at the court. Yeah.
And remember they had also had Fester Sazili.
Yeah, yeah. And I think Bogie got hurt. When Bogie got hurt, I think that's when Draymond started,
But I think he knew what that team needed.
Draymond did.
You know, his energy, his effort.
You got Clay and Steph who's shooting the blood out of the ball.
Man, if I can play the point, the point forward to where I can push this rock.
And, you know, yeah, if they ain't guarding me, I can hand off the Steph, get Steph shots, get Clay shots.
Hell, I'm going to, we're going to be a pretty good damn team if I play great defense.
Yeah.
Oh, you know who it was?
you remember David Lee
the guy that got from the next
that's what happened
David Lee
and he was
he was tremendous
David Lee was awesome
yes
people of people
yeah how good David Lee was
as a matter of fact
I just saw him in Vegas
he married Caroline Wolvesniacki
the Great Dane the tennis player
as a matter of fact
I saw them and Michael Phelps
and his wife
go ahead Joe
yeah he
He went to Florida by 6-9, lefty.
Lefty.
Yeah, I played in an all-star game with him, so he could play.
But they got two totally different games, David Lee and Dreyne Green.
David Lee got an offensive game.
Draymond Green got a defensive game.
There you go.
Draymond Green got a defensive game, Uncle Ocho, but he has great IQ.
He has great intellect on where the ball should go and how to play.
You know, I think that's very underrated when people speak on Dre.
Raymond, I think he is very intelligent, he's a very intelligent player.
Yes, he understands the game.
Despite not, yeah, despite not being a hell of a score, a hell of a shooter.
Yeah, he can make a shot and occasionally he'll have some breakout games.
But I thought his role was needed for the Warriors.
Hell, they weren't four championships.
I'm trying to figure out.
So, so what did he expect to be?
But you know what?
You know what?
Scotty Pippen said that, you know, with Jordan, I could have been this.
and Scottie, when Jordan retired,
Scotty was the All-Star Game MVP.
He averaged like 22.
Yeah.
But I believe Scott people was more of an offensive threat than Draymond is.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, no question.
No question.
And so I just, and as I was reading what Draymond was saying,
I kind of understand, but I'm like, well, damn.
It's like, bro.
What could it be?
What could it be, though, Uncle Joe?
Let's say if Steph and Clay wasn't you?
what type of office of presence would Draymond provide for lawyers?
Not going to the Hall of Fame.
Draymond is not on the international is not on the United States men's team.
That's not happening.
Right.
If he didn't have Stephanie Clay.
Yeah.
I mean, the two arguably, well, not arguably, Steph the greatest shooter ever,
but Clay here standing right next to him.
Yeah.
I mean.
They're the greatest two shooters that's ever been assembled on one team.
And it's not close.
And when you.
Yeah.
And those runs.
that the Warriors were making when they were winning titles, bro,
you got to look at Draymond Green's role on that team,
the way he played defensively, the way he pushed the rock
when he got the rebound, the way he playmate and played defense.
Bro, every team needs somebody like that.
You just don't get a guy like that because we call that dirty work.
Everybody don't want to do the dirty work.
You know what I mean?
Like, you got to really want it to – you got to really want to be successful
and really put your stamp on the game.
You got to be a little different.
bro to play like that.
So I commend him on his four titles.
I don't know if he, you know, wanted to be a 20.
Come on, man.
All the defensive team.
Yeah.
I just don't know.
I just don't, me personally, I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't think if he's not on that team,
I'm not so sure he makes an all-star team.
Listen, listen.
If he ain't on the team, hell, the warriors have trouble winning them damn
titles they were winning.
Right.
Yeah.
His role was needed.
But for him, here's the thing.
But to look outside and says, you know what?
To do this.
But they didn't need you to score.
So now you got Clay, Steph, and KD.
So now if you think that you're a score,
you bring Katie, how did that work?
It worked because everybody understood their role.
Their role, yeah.
KD doesn't have to playmate.
Draymond, you're going to be able to playmate
and occasionally Steph.
Steph, you're going to do what you.
Hey, you'll get a lot of picks.
Just keep running.
We're going to run you off these picks.
And when we absolutely need a basket,
we got a seven-foot guy that we can turn us back to the basket.
We dump it down there to him,
and you better not bring a double team.
Because Steph is in one corner and Clay's in the other.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I like how he mastered his role,
meaning, damn, they ain't going to even guard me if I'm standing at this three.
No.
But guess what?
As soon as I catch the ball, I'm going right to a dribble handoff.
And you come off with me, you're going to be wide open
because my man way in a day of paint.
You feel me?
He's mastered that, Anka, Ojo,
which I think took them to another level,
meaning as they kept continued making it to the finals
and winning titles, like he mastered his role
to the T, bro.
I don't know what else he was expecting and looking for,
but he had a hell of a career.
Hell he going to be a homestrade.
I tell you what.
When Steph Curry wasn't in the lineup,
and Clay was gone, how did Draymond look, y'all?
Pedestrian, yeah.
see we lose side of that
when step kirk is not in the lineup
how does draymond look and draymonds for fabulous
like you said joe he's going to the hall of fame
and deservedly so yeah yeah he's a two-time
a limby champion he's a defensive player
of the year he's an all-nba defensive
player he's an all-nbba player
there's no denying what he's been able to do
but take a look when stepf curry isn't in the lineup
what a draymine that's his opportunity
let me show you what i can do
ohcho yeah
when when
Hold on. How's he's supposed to sum up something he'd never been given an opportunity to do?
That's your opportunity because you ain't got somebody that's go get 30.
So that's your opportunity to show.
You're a wide receiver.
You're a backup.
You're the number two, number three.
If number one goes down, this is Ocho's opportunity to show y'all need to give me some refs.
Even when one comes back, I will need my touches.
Look at 10 Shannon tonight for Minnesota, Ocho.
Hey, but listen.
See, you got to say Shannon wasn't getting an opportunity.
But hold on.
But his role was always defensively.
His role was always facilitating for Clay and goddamn step.
When they were out, Coach.
So what had to take place for Shannon to get his opportunity?
Ant Man had to go out.
DeSomo had to be out.
So here is Braden's opportunity when Steph is hurt.
Because Steph has missed a lot of time.
Yeah.
That's his opportunity.
Okay, now it's my time to shine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, he should have just took over.
That ain't this game.
He can't do something.
That ain't his game, bro.
That's like you said.
You know what?
I've been to go play tight in.
That ain't what you do.
Get his ass steam row trying to play tight in.
Little lad can't block.
No, no.
No, you're going to get steam road, boy.
Hey, little ass can't block nothing here.
You're going to get steam road.
But that, look.
We all look.
We all look back on Cho.
You probably thinking, man,
if I didn't have TJ, they gave me more balls.
Let me get 50.
Let me get another.
Like those targets that they gave a hoosh.
Let me get 50 of those.
Now I'm averaging 110, 115 catches of season.
We all, we can all play this.
Joe, like, man, if I had went to somewhere like Atlanta
and I could have started my first four years,
man, look at my numbers.
I already scored 20,000.
Now I'm a starter not coming off the bench.
I might have 25, 26,000.
We all do that.
It's just human nature.
Hey, when Dre was at Michigan State, was he a score?
No.
Nah.
I think he probably what?
He probably added about 12 points a game.
Okay.
The only guy, really the only guy that you saw that I didn't see this becoming was Anthony Davis.
Yeah.
Anthony Davis was a defensive player.
Yeah.
What?
Yes.
Anthony Davis averaged like 12, 14 points.
But he probably avered about six blocks.
He did.
And another night and another,
probably like 10 rebounds.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
And then he gets to the league and you're like,
what the hell?
How do you average 27, 27, 28, and 12?
Hey, every night.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, because you get to polish that game you got
when you get to the pros.
Because hell, guess what?
All your job is to do is come to this gym,
get them damn shot.
up work on your game.
If anything else is more important
than that, then we got problems.
Period. Point blank.
That's why they draft
cats on potential. Yes.
You know, okay, boom. Okay, potentially,
damn, if he could develop a 15 footer,
if he could develop the three, I mean,
he's going to be a hell of a player, but right now he
can't hit Nate Faheyer.
Yeah, so it's part of development,
bro. When you get to the pros,
they're going to get it out you.
Okay, Ocho, y'all know it.
Draymond senior season at Michigan State.
He averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds.
He was an All-American.
For his career, though, he averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists.
He did four years?
Yes.
Yeah.
I mean, hell, them are some hell of a stats you're seeing in a year 16 and 10.
Yeah.
But did he get drafted the second round?
That's why his opportunity came a little later.
But hell, hey, it's a surprise.
example, bro. You give a man an opportunity.
Hey, you never know what can happen from there, bro.
But what he was looking to be wasn't what Golden State needed.
Golden State needed janitors and cashiers.
They didn't need bank presidents.
They didn't need bank managers.
They didn't need CFOs and CFOs.
Sometimes we try to create a role that they're not hiring.
And then what?
That's what people need to understand.
What are they hiring?
Man, I'm qualified, but that's not what they're hiring.
So when you don't get the job or it doesn't work out, you get mad.
They told you what they were looking for.
Right.
But that's not the job that you wanted to interview for.
Don't they tell you to say, man, look here, we need a lion cook.
We need a lion cook.
They told you what they need, the line cook.
Can I work the register?
No, we don't need the cashier.
We don't need nobody on the register.
I told you we need a line cook.
Or we need servers.
Or we need greeters.
Hey.
Look, my rookie year, I played for the, I got drafted by the boss of Celtics,
playing with Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker.
Paul second, he was second and scoring in the NBA, third in scoring their year.
Antoine Walker was at like two.
22, 24 night.
Yeah.
Okay, Ojo, I knew damn well.
My offensive opportunity was going to come far few in between.
Yes, sir.
But guess what?
Guess what?
When he threw me out there on that damn court, I was hustling, I was in the passing lane.
This before all this ISO stuff, people talking about.
Yeah.
Like, hey, I would balls to the wall.
You hear me?
I'm talking about playing the best defense I possibly can.
Because the one thing is when I was playing,
I never wanted coach to have an excuse to take me off the court, bro.
You know what I mean?
Damn, we need some defense.
Who was?
I got them, Coach.
Don't worry about it.
Who you want me to get?
I got him.
I was guarding point guards, two guards,
small forwards, powerful.
I'm telling you, bro.
You have to find your niche
and you have to find a way to stick
when you get to the pros.
Because guess what?
When you get to the pros,
we all probably was great scores.
But, hell, when you get that, man,
it's going to be a pecking order.
It's already going to be a guy to,
hell, who are already pretty damn good
if scored a ball.
they ain't going to really need that from you.
Right.
Now, what else can you bring
to make us complete as a team?
You have to figure that out
because the answers
ain't going to be right there, you know,
off dump.
You know what I'm saying?
You got to figure it out as a game go.
And I was looking, I was like, damn,
my problem, it's some nights,
okay, Ocho, I was getting four shots
a night.
Like, damn, I'm playing 30 minutes.
Then it'd be other nights
I may get 12 shots.
Right.
And I ain't never trip off that.
Hey, look, I was living.
living the American dream, something I dreamed about as a kid,
and I got an opportunity,
I'm going to be out here playing some hell of a defense.
I'll tell you that.
Yeah, straight up.
When you show what you can do, J.S.N., he came in.
What did it do, Ocho?
Locket, gone.
Trade, D.K.
Yep.
And in my opportunities, boy.
All you got to do is show.
And so that's what you got to do.
Guys get injured.
Hey, them guys got injured.
Man, let me show what I can do.
I know I can.
Hey, I, I.
I ain't saying I'm the best tied in the league
in my second and third year,
but I tell you what, I'm better than what we got.
I know that for certain. Let me show you.
Now, guess what?
Now they started moving on for some of them
veteran receivers. Now I'm really going to
get an opportunity because
seven old me. He's been working with me
for three years. All the rest of you guys,
you coming in, already got a step above.
I'm already in his good graces.
He knows one or two things.
It's going to be a catcher. It's going to be an incompletion.
Or I'm going to knock hell out of somebody because he ain't going to
intercept it.
So, hey, I'm with your neck.
That's what a lot of these young cats got to understand, bro.
We don't know when your opportunity going to come.
It may come mid-seasoning, hell, it may come for me.
It came like the fourth game of the season because somebody, Eric Williams, got hurt.
So I got thrust into the starting lineup.
Okay, Ocho, I never came out that damn starting lineup once I got in there.
You hear me?
I developed some value for myself.
That's why they traded my ass.
You hear me?
Yeah, I'm just keeping real.
Like, you know, when you're a yelster, you don't really know why.
You know, especially when you're a rookie year.
I'm like, damn, why they trade me?
I'm playing great.
We're the number two team in the East.
The Celtics hadn't made the playoffs since shit.
Four, five, six years.
Yeah.
They got a little value.
You know, they don't believe in rookies like that, so let's go get some venture help.
They went to got Tony Depp, Rodney Rogers.
You know what I mean?
Sent me to Phoenix.
So when that opportunity presented itself, you got to,
take advantage of it, bro.
Prime example, look at Dennis Rodman.
Man, Dennis Robben probably had like five points a game,
but that mofo average 15 rebounds a game.
He carved out a nick for himself on that side of the ball.
Look, I know it's glamorous to put the ball in the basket.
I know it's just like our offense, Ocho.
Everybody want to throw the ball, catch the ball,
and score the touchdown.
Touchdowns, yeah.
But there's a role for you on the other side of the ball.
Man, listen.
And if you do it at a high level,
like you say, Dennis Robman.
You may have five points still had his own shoes.
Yes.
He probably was as popular as anybody in the league.
Man, he was on the boys.
Hell, he probably as damn as popular as Michael Joyce.
Sports Illustrated, doing WD, doing W.E.
Roar, Rumble, all that.
Wrestling, all that with you.
Dating the bad.
Madonna Carman.
Dating the baddest women.
Ain't some games the man have 25, 26 rebounds, no points.
not even a shot attempt
hey but guess what
he's doing it at a high level
that's all you got to do
and that's what you got to do
think we're a little bad boy Pistons
they had
IZell was scoring do Mars
but hey everybody else
Salie Sal
Lambert
Mahorn Rodman
That's it
Whatever you're stacked
Whatever you're right
I'm going to the best job I can in the role
that I currently in
That's all I can do
Eventually, I'm going to do enough.
I promise you if Dremont would have shown them that he could be a 17-point-a-game score
and still play that level of defense, I don't believe they would have done that.
Because that only helps them.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think for Drey Mine, if he was just a little better shooter, his numbers would be a lot better.
But for the most part, bro, I hope he won't beat him.
up behind all this because, man, you got some cats who ain't even never even seen the
finals.
He'd have made a quarter of a billion.
I hope he don't beat you beat yourself up, four rings, four, or two ellipid ring.
Man, you don't, you.
D. P.O.Y.
He'll have his number.
I mean, then.
He's going to have his number retired in Golden State.
Come on, man.
How many time did they go to the finals?
I know they won four.
Come on, man.
What are we talking about?
And Joe, he going, and you.
you, Stefan Clay, y'all locked.
What?
Forever.
Yeah, hell, they're probably going to put a statue all three, y'all hands out there.
It's just like the Yankees with Pasada, Andy Pettit, Derek Jeter, and Mo Rivera.
The big four.
They together.
Yeah.
I mean, Moe Rivera probably same way, man, man, I could have been a starter.
You're just the greatest clothes at all time.
Right.
Right.
But, uh, Dreemann, you had a.
Hell of career, bro.
Like Joe said, don't beat yourself up about it.
Don't even worry about it.
Just, hey, you got a great family.
You got, hey, when you're in Silicon Valley, you get an opportunity to meet.
Because think about what you've been able to put yourself in.
Because you've won, you've got to get in on some great upstarts.
Yeah.
Made a ton of money.
You might have made, you might have made more money.
You look at Steve Young and all them guys out there in San Francisco to get on these tech companies
and get in on Uber and get in on Google, get in from the ground floor.
And next thing you know, oh, you're in on 20x 50s.
50X their money.
Money, yeah.
Big time.
Guys, the Spurs beat the Blazers,
114 to 95 to close out this series in a gentleman's
first playoff wins and nine season.
They take on the winner of the Nugget Timberwolves.
They got out to this big lead.
Portland would not go away.
I think they cut it down to like nine,
maybe 10 points,
but that was as close as they could get
as the Spurs pulled away
in fashion and win by 19 points.
Joe, what did you like about what did you like about what you saw from the Spurs?
Because they came on the game with a singular focus.
They jumped on them right away and really didn't look back until late in the ballgame.
They made that run.
But the Spurs and their head coach have to be very, very pleased with what he saw from his team tonight.
Yeah, I think they did what they were supposed to, Ocho.
You know, considering the fact that, you know, they want to go and get the series over with, man.
They played great on the road, was able to come, was able to get two victories on the road.
being down double figures on the road and being able to pull those games out.
So you come back home with 3-1.
Man, you want to get these guys out the way to alleviate injuries
and get you a little rest and prepare for the next series.
So I thought it was great.
I think they attack you in ways, bro.
Even to start the game, Basil started the game,
him and Chad Penny started the game so hot.
It's like then if those guys get going, like, Ocho,
you're going to have hell because I don't know how you're going to turn out
Wimby and Fox and Castle and the Harper.
You know what I mean?
They just got so many guys who can attack.
They play the right way.
They're very unselfish and they're all playmakers, bro.
You got, on the perimeter, you got three guys who can break the defense down at any point in time.
Fox, Castle, Harper.
You can't stay in front of them.
They can go get theirs and they can create for the big fella and everybody else around them.
I think they just have a complete team who is dangerous, not only offensively, but defensively.
they bring it every night, bro.
They bring it every night.
Joe, you said something very interesting,
that they do come at you in waves
and a five-point lead.
The next thing you know
before the opposing team can call a time-out,
you're down 14.
Man.
It was just five and now is 14.
And if you're not careful,
that 14 goes to 21,
and you got to call another time-out.
Man, you watch the air and Fox
when he calls for that pick and roll
and he get that big on him.
Yeah.
Bro, you might as well go ahead and drop coverage.
Just go stand up under the rim.
Because you're not fitting to stay in front of him.
Because he's trying to hit you with that hazard, that head fake ha ha.
Right to the river he goes.
And do, he's clear like, I don't know what y'all want me to do.
Y'all is fake him and where you're like, y'all really thought I was going to stay in front of here?
Yeah.
Y'all locked that off.
With zero chance.
But like you said, you look, they had six guys in double figure.
Harper comes off the bitch, go six of nine.
He has 17 points.
Six guys in double figures.
They shoot, they shoot 55% from the floor.
You let a team shoot.
55% from the floor, you're probably going to lose.
Every time.
Every time.
Probably going to lose.
And look, the thing that kept Portland in the game is that they turned the ball over.
Yeah.
They got a little reckless, look charles with the basketball.
But this is a very good team.
And, uh, yokech, you remember, Yokit and, uh, women, they kind of been battling.
Yeah.
You know, the two countrymen, Gobert and Wemby.
Yeah.
And Wimby say, look, it's a passing of a torch.
You know, hey, we change it.
We change in this thing.
We change it.
Ocho, what did you like about what you saw from San Antonio?
Man, I really enjoyed it.
The thing about them in this series, even though it was a gentleman sweep,
every time they played each night they did play the Blazers,
it was always somebody different.
If it wasn't Castle, it was Basso.
If it wasn't Vassal, it was Fox.
If it wasn't Fox, it was Wimby.
So what it reminds me of,
and I'm going to use football terminology for those that don't know,
because I don't know the basketball game the way you guys do,
it reminds me the goddamn greatest show on turf,
where you had to play the goddamn Rams.
Every time they had a game,
boy, it was by committee.
It was always somebody different.
It was Oz Akeem or was Isaac Bruce or was Marshall Falk.
Hell, it was Tori Holt.
But either way, they got the job done every single time in a different way.
I mean, throughout the season, obviously, you know, where they played.
In the same way, it reminds me of that.
I don't have a comparison in basketball term because I don't have a knowledge of the game the way you guys do.
But, I mean, I enjoyed it.
I think the spurs are a legit contender to get to the finals.
the only team I see with the type of depth,
not only offensively,
but having the bench to deal with them
would probably be,
what's young boy of, young boredom at a...
OKC. That's about it.
Because it's so, hey, Joe, what do you do
when you don't know who to stop?
You don't know who to stop, Joe.
And if you do stop one person,
here you got four other killers on your head.
Hey, it is tough, Ocho.
I think the great thing about the Spurs
is when you look at it, man, Fox don't have to be amazing every night.
But when it comes to down the stretch, Arcoo,
hey man, that boy step up every time.
You know what I mean?
It's kind of like he slows through the game.
Yeah, some nights he's going to have 2730,
but for the most part in the fourth quarter,
that's when he's going to do his damage.
Because these dudes come out so hot
and everybody get the free-floor.
He just kind of controlling the game.
Okay, Ocho.
He's just making sure he keeps everybody involved.
And he knows his time.
going to come. You know, he's a veteran guy, veteran presence. You need that, bro. Especially
a guy at the helm running the point guard, making sure, you know, everybody's in their right
spots. And then in them clutch moments in the fourth quarter, under six minutes, under five
minutes, he's going to deliver, bro. He's been doing it this whole series, being clutching
the fourth quarter, making big shots, making big plays when needed. He ain't just scoring. He
out there fighting defensively, too. I think that's the separator of the Spurs. Everybody
he defends, bro.
It ain't, I know Wemby
a hell of a, he a hell of a
backdrop back there, but for the most part,
them guys on the perimeter, they defend it.
But if you get by them, I don't know how you plan
on scoring the ball.
If you go back and look
at it when Portland made that run,
when they came out of the time out,
who did they put the ball in his hands?
Fox. Yeah. Fox, yeah.
He pick and roll, pick and roll, pick and roll.
He's doing his thing. Now, Vassel
to,
The first time, Vassel came out and he came out to pick
and he ended up getting
like a mid-free throw line jumper.
And after that, Fox had the ball,
called for the pick and roll, got the big,
got the match up that he wanted and boom.
Right by him he went.
But I like the fact, look,
there's like, Castle, you got to learn about it.
You got to learn on the job.
I can't take the ball out of your hands every time.
I got to get you used to handling situations like this.
Because what happens if they take Fox away?
What if they put their best defender on Fox?
and we need you when you have an advantage to take advantage of it.
So I like the fact, but I also like the fact that counsel guard.
Yeah, he's going to pick up foul, but he plays his ass off.
Yeah.
He defends everybody.
I mean, he defends everybody.
I don't give him to you the point guard, the two, the three, the four.
Eh, he got down there trying to bang with clinging.
He doesn't care.
I love that about him.
But like I said, when you look at these guys six or nine,
Wimby only shot the ball seven times, eight of 14, four of four of,
11, 6 of 11.
Man.
Hey, think about it.
Castle, not only does he defend
on your Ocho, but he got a little nastiness in him, too.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
You can tell, remember you got them back to back
files?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I thought Coke were going to take him out
the game.
Mm-mm, mm-mm.
You need that, bro.
You need guys, you know, he ain't shined away from
no challenge, no contact, no nothing.
And then to speak to Fox and Wimby in the pick-and-roll,
Yeah.
Man, that picking roll is so hard to stop with them, too, for a number of reasons.
First off, you don't want to switch because you know Wimby,
Automatic are going to have a mismatch.
So that's why they, I mean, yeah, that's why they switching,
and you end up getting them five men guarding the points guard.
Hell, he ain't got a chance.
He ain't got a chance, bro, because they're breaking them down.
It's going to be a blow by, either a layup or spray out of the three or a lob.
They just, they got too many guys, and they hit you in so many ways, bro.
and then Wimby, he's just so special.
I'm talking about defensively the way he flies,
swadding shots about it.
It'll make anybody second guess about going up in that pain.
Yeah, you're going to throw my thing up to get me off.
I get on sports center car.
You threw my shot up in the third row.
Normally it's a dunk or, you know, I made somebody touch Earth.
Now you put me on sports center cup.
He flies swatted my shot.
And I think the thing is that if you look at it,
you don't have no choice.
If you're big, if you, if you don't show,
all you're going to do is give him a wide open three.
There are times that Castle was shooting shoot around threes.
Wasn't nobody in the vicinity.
Because the big didn't want to come out and have Wimby do the law when he comes down hill.
So you know, you go ahead and take that.
Yeah.
Castle, Vassel, all those guys, they're going to have shots because of Wembe.
Yeah.
Because Wimby can shoot.
But the last thing I want him to do is get that switch.
And then he beats the guy and he comes down here and he looks.
lobs it and then he'll go Wimby dunking it on somebody's head getting the crowd into it.
Yeah.
And you know what else they done showed you too?
Also, Uncle Joe.
What's that?
When Wimby's not playing, they still able to function offensively, even on, and on defense.
You know, okay, we don't have that presence.
We don't have that presence in the paint offensively.
They still doing the same thing.
It's by committee.
You just don't know whose night is going to be.
Woody's not in it.
They showed us to do that.
The shit of hell, they showed that during the regular season, too.
Corny has been giving him some good minutes too, Joe.
I mean, he don't play much.
I mean, he had 13 minutes.
He gave him five points.
It's perfect from the floor.
Perfect from the free throw line, three rebounds, three assists.
That's all you need.
You don't need him to try to match Wimby numbers.
Hey, just play solid defense just in case he gets in file trouble.
Be able to knock down, be able to, hey, roll to the basket, get a lot, get a layup.
A, defend just a little bit.
We don't expect you to be Wimby.
Yeah.
But you are ourselves, seven foot tall, so block some shots.
Make them.
Yeah.
Because Wimby, hey, they're missing the whole damn goal.
They see Wimby up there.
Hey, listen.
Nah, I don't even, ah, nah.
All they need from Cornett is energy and effort.
That's it.
That's it.
You bring that.
But to speak on Portland, man, they won a couple games in this series.
I mean, they won one game.
Yeah.
And I think those first two games in San Antonio,
I think what they can take from,
what Portland can take from that is,
they got to find a way for Scoot to be consistent.
because, you know, these past couple games,
he ain't really gave them.
They ain't had a chance.
They didn't have a chance to have him.
I think the game they won.
Wasn't it if the game they won he had 27?
Yeah, I think the first game he had like 25.
The second game he had like 30.
I think the first two game, you know, he was bawling out.
I was thinking like, man, if he's going to play like this,
because he's the one guy who has that youth on his side,
youth and athleticism on his side and who can attack,
who can attack, you know, in the open court and make plays.
Right.
He just kind of, I don't know, when they got back to Portland, he just wasn't the same.
But here's the thing, though, Joe.
The problem is he only played 17 minutes.
Everybody else, I mean, you play the same number of minutes as backup guys.
He's not going to be able to, you got to let him have, you got to let him have some run.
Kamar had 33 minutes and then he had 32 minutes.
Klingan had 27.
Holiday had 40.
You give a start.
All those guys played at least 27 minutes.
started lineup. He got 17.
So he's probably looking around
like, damn. Now, what's
going to happen next year when Dame comes back?
That's what I want to know. They got some
decisions to make. You can't care. I mean, what's
you're going to do? I mean, you like to keep
holiday because he's a veteran presence.
He can defend play both ends of the court.
Hey,
Uncle Joe,
let's say when Dame does
come back next year. Joe, you say that
they have some decisions to make.
Yeah. Based on what you saw this series, the
decision shouldn't be that hard.
Well, it shouldn't be that hard because you see
when it's nut cutting time, who you can depend on.
Who can score?
Yeah, but you don't want to start the growth of some of these
young cats like School Henderson.
You know what I mean? Like, if you send him to the bench,
if you send him to the bench, Uncle Ocho, damn, I mean,
I ain't saying he just go ahead and move it.
That's all I'm saying. Like, but, you know, at the same time,
he the youngest out of Dame and Holiday.
So I don't know if his holiday.
on the contract, is he a free agent?
I think they might have, they made a
holiday extension. Look and see if they gave
holiday extension. Plus the fact,
Sheldon Sharp, what are they going to do with him?
He gave six minutes, Joe. He can't do anything with that.
And I remember in the middle of season,
he was playing well.
Man, they was featuring him in their offense,
man, it don't even make sense to me. I'm like,
how does this man go from not even playing?
He can't even get no clock. He don't even
look like the same player when he is out there.
Oh, Shaden Sharp.
King Sean.
I don't know, man.
I don't know.
I thought that Portland liked him.
But they do.
He's been a non-affactor.
You didn't really notice him in this series.
Nope.
He's playing basically Mop.
I mean, he played six minutes tonight.
And think about it, Joe, he had five points in six minutes.
Now, I don't know if he's not playing defense.
I don't know what's going on.
But it's going to be a similar situation where you're going to have to treat it like Philly did with Jerry McCain.
Remember Jerry McCain?
was playing really well. He broke his ankle. He didn't play the rest of the year. They
draft BJ Etzcom. And guess what? They said, nah, we ain't got no more room for you,
bro. Instead of just have him sit on the bench and come off the bitch, trade him,
they traded him to OKC, a reliable and valuable
backup because you know now with Etcham and Maxi, you just
gave Maxi and Max deal. Yeah. He ain't going to get no real minutes.
Nope. So if that's the case, you might as well do something very similar to
with school.
Yeah, you're going to have to.
The only thing is you've got two veteran guards
that's in like their mid-30s, meaning Dame and Holiday.
I don't know if you want to get rid of them, no.
They're youth and athleticism that he has.
They got to hope that he can find some way to be consistent
throughout the season and maybe still be the future.
I don't know if you get rid of them
because you're going to be relying on two mid-30-olds
and you know how that can go.
Dame is coming
Dame is coming off an injury
coming off of a Nikita Lee's
Now the difference is he didn't rush back
He had plenty of time to recover
He should be good
Let's hope he's good
Let's hope he can get back
Because if he can get back to
I mean I'm watching Jason Tatum
And hell if you didn't know
You wouldn't know Jason Tatum had that injury
No
You wouldn't know Kevin Durant had that injury
No
So if Dame can come back and be Dame
They're going to be a dangerous team
When Dame was at that example
Apex, I mean, coming out of the West,
considering what O.K.C. is now currently.
Considering what you see what
the San Antonio Spurs are currently.
If Denver could stay healthy,
what they are currently.
The T-Wolves are always dangerous because
Ant-Man, it's just going to be hard.
But I just don't know.
Denny is amazing.
He's been an all-star holiday.
They got to make some decisions.
Look, the team is being sold.
Yeah.
This is what we know
with the team
is being sold,
but they got some decisions to make.
And it seems like the owner's already
doing cost cutting moves.
They got to check out by 12
because they don't want to get charged
for an extra day.
They get playoff t-shirts.
So they've already making it.
So it looks like to me, Joe,
they've already started
the cost-cutting.
The cost-saving.
Yeah, but I don't understand that,
though.
I don't know why they owner would do such a thing,
bro.
Why he would act like that?
Like, you don't get no play-off shirts,
bro.
This is like,
this is the best part of them.
the season. Okay, Ocho. Yes.
You going there, you got that thing black.
You're checking out at the hotel, Joe. You got to check out
by 12 because we don't get charged for X today.
The first bus
ain't until 3 o'clock. You mean we got what?
Go on over to the stadium.
Get your locker and get your headphones on. Get right.
Hey, Joe. It's the reason they're
big in there. Hold on, hold on. Hold on.
What these guys coming from who
buying the team or who own the team right now?
They own the hurricanes. Tom. Tom Dunning?
The Carolina Hurricanes.
Yeah.
Yeah, hockey team.
Man, see, it's, you know, different sports do different business, bro.
Yeah, hey, they're straight business mind, Joe, straight business.
Man, come on.
Not about owner.
Listen, owning the sports team is a hobby for them.
I get all that, Ocho.
But you can't be making guys check out, bro.
The first bus ain't to three o'clock.
What we both do, sit in the lobby?
Yeah, sit in the lobby.
Hold you back.
Come on, man.
Come on.
Come on.
What are they doing at that at?
for a late checkout.
You got to.
Hey, that's funny.
Man, this day help you change.
It's tough.
You know, that's a part of Paul Allen,
former Paul rested,
so he owned the,
he owned the Trailblazers,
and he owned the Seattle Seahawks.
Yeah.
The Seahawks are being sold.
They believe they're going to fetch somewhere
north of $7, 8, maybe even $9 billion.
That was in his, that was in his, you know,
his estate, his planning.
Like, look, I want him sold,
X, Y, and Z.
and I think he says
he's going to donate the money to charity.
What do you mean?
It ain't going to go to his kids.
Ain't not going to go to his kids?
I don't think he had kids.
He gave, because his sister,
he put his sister in charge.
And that was,
and that was,
that was,
uh,
his request.
I don't think Paul Allen had kids.
Hmm.
It doesn't go to her.
No,
it goes to charity.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That man.
That man, by this paper, huh?
Yeah, man.
No, no, he's going to charity.
Wow.
All of it.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
I mean, he was, he's very, very philanthropic.
Mm.
Mm.
So, uh, but yeah, but the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they got, they got, look.
Denny, you can build around Denny.
School.
Yeah.
I like Scoot.
I like clinging.
He's a big.
He ain't, wendy.
He and Yokich, but he's a, but he's a, but, but, hey, but, but, but, he's a, but, but, but,
Hell, who are?
Who is?
Nobody.
But I like Shaden Sharp.
I like him.
Because I've seen flashes from him that lets me know if he get consistent minutes, he can be good.
Maybe it's a confidence thing.
I don't know.
Maybe, uh, uh, uh, because before this thing hopped on, um, because early in the season,
he was playing a lot of minutes.
He was getting 25, 30 minutes, Joe.
I think, I think when a dinnik cat started.
picking up his play, Uncle Ocho, you know, he was an all-star this year,
because they basically pretty much play the same position.
I think this is who they're going with.
And they, I think, I think, the Sharp kid, I think that was Choncy.
I think that was his, I think that was one of his guys.
Yeah, I think that was one of his guys that, you know, he enjoyed, he tried to feature.
I don't necessarily think Splinter was, you know, really messing with him like that.
I mean, hell, it was obvious, hell, he wasn't giving him no clock.
Yeah.
Matthew Stibos still in the league?
Yeah, that's what I said.
He came and got him some minutes.
Too many.
Play 15.
One or six.
He got two many minutes.
That's the problem.
He got 15 minutes.
One or six.
0.
05 from three.
Bro.
Hey.
You know what I want to know?
What's that?
Is who the Spurs going to have next and what's going to be a great matchup for him
between Denver.
Denver and Minnesota.
T-Wills.
Denver and T-Wil.
Hey, you think about it, Uncle Joe,
in regards to who they get,
whether it's the wolves or what is the Nuggets.
Neither one got enough firepower to deal with them boys.
You don't think so?
No, Joe.
I think I want to see Denver.
I ain't going to lie to.
But Denver, but Denver is a two-headed monster.
It's the two-headed monster.
That's the only thing.
You don't want to see Minnesota without that, man.
Ant-Man gone for a couple of weeks.
By the time the man, get back, hell, it'll be down three-nothing.
That's why I say I want to see Denver,
because Denver pretty much full of strength
besides maybe, you know, the Pat Watson kid.
But outside of that, you know, they full of strength.
And I think Wembe, you know,
he'll probably play some decent defense against Yokic.
Oh, yeah, he played great defense against Yolich.
Because you see Yolkis struggling against Rudy,
and he has better lateral movement than Rudy.
Yeah.
And he's taller than Rudy.
He gave Wimby 40, though, by the last couple games of the season.
He gave their boy 40 for the playoffs started, though.
So I don't know.
We don't know how they can go.
Let's go back and look at the three games because I think Wimby got the best of them.
The last game now where they really had to have it, yeah, Yolk's game.
But Wimby would give him that work.
Yeah.
Wimby put it on him a couple times, Joe.
No, no, no, no.
Listen, Yokish ain't going to be able to do nothing with him defensively now.
Right, no.
He ain't going to be to do nothing with him.
He can't contest his shot.
God hell, he can't out rebounding.
He ain't gonna be to do nothing defensively.
He just got to attack him offensively and make him work.
I think if any team and you playing against the Spurs, bro,
you have to be extra physical with Wimby.
I'm saying to beat him because you let him roam around that paint freely
and not get chug, not get hit.
Boy, he's going to be a bad weapon.
Hey, Joe, you neutralized Wimby.
What?
You still got to deal with Fox.
Yeah.
You do you do last fox and Wimby.
Now you got to deal with Vassal.
Hey, Joe.
What's up?
Let me give you a little squeeze.
What happened?
What, that is?
I don't know what that man, that got.
Oh, Joe?
Yeah, that he got, who.
What happened?
I don't know what it is.
What you mean?
I just know I don't want it.
You all right, bro?
Oh, I just got a little cold.
Oh, let me get another squeeze.
Hey, you ain't made any of you.
Nah, I ain't, I ain't had to.
I ain't had to.
a chance to get no rest the past four days.
I think, I'm, hey, hey, let me tell you something.
Yeah.
If you don't get no rest, your body going to make your rest, partner.
Yeah, it made me rest yesterday.
Yeah, you're going to have to get them rest.
Hey, your immune system.
That what y'all call it?
Okay.
What do you think he?
Oh, you think he?
What?
Hey, y'all, you, all you're trying to be fine.
Nah, da, da, da, don't know.
Hey, Joe, remember talking about, man, I ain't heard about no bull head.
He ain't never heard of it
He ain't never heard of it
Hey, so we're gonna take the comic
We're gonna take the comic hole
And turn into something else, huh?
Boy, you live in Miami
Hey, Joe, how that man got a cold in Miami
It's 80 degrees every day
You got everybody know I'll sleep with my AC on 60 degrees
I don't know what you do
All I know is one moment you're walking straight
You're walking great, I mean everything great
You're talking to do
Hey, Joe
Here we are today, now look at it
Hey Joe
What's up?
Hey, he's jealous of my voice, Joe.
That's all it is.
Nah, nah, nah.
Hey, this, that,
this, that Quiet Storm radio host voice right now.
All I, I, I ain't jealous of whatever you got.
I don't want it.
Hey, it's just a, just a little sort though.
I got my, what's it, what's it called?
Yeah, I got my NyQuil, severe colon.
You took something already?
Yeah, just one little drop.
Nightquil are going to put you out.
You're going to make it?
Oh, yeah, I'm going to make it.
Oh, yeah, but when it's time to work, Joe, Joe, I don't know.
Hey, hey, either the nightquil or what he got to.
put him out. Water the other.
Water than the two.
Hey, hey, Joe.
Honestly.
Hey.
Oh, Lord, man. Come on,
Ojo!
My bad.
My bad.
What a spray, man.
What a thing?
Damn.
My bad.
Hey, you know what?
I appreciate y'all bearing with me
and doing any difficult times.
Barron?
Come on, man.
Hey.
He didn't talk about the calm.
nothing common about what you got.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
