That's another crazy fit that you got on.
I've never seen that before.
Never seen that before.
I've never seen the red and white Steelers hat.
You come in with crazy, crazy different colors,
crazy different fittets.
You've done it again.
Is that the Super Bowl?
Is that a Super Bowl stitch on the side?
Yeah, you know, it's just one of the Super Bowl.
Nice cap.
Nice cap.
I'm just saying, you know what I'm saying.
I see.
I see you.
I see you never capping.
You capping.
You capping.
Hey, hey, I ain't never capping but I'm capping.
But you capping.
Hey, cap game impeccable.
My hat game impeccable, Joseph.
Super strong.
Super strong.
Look here, man.
It was super strong like display that the commanders put on, man.
They just couldn't finish your brother.
Look here, man.
Let's jump up into this game.
Hey, man, it was a whole lot more than what I thought it was going to be, especially when the first, you know, the first couple quarters.
Oh, for sure.
Well, when looking right, San Francisco got the ball, they get up out there, man, first down.
Purdy dropped that thing off from McCaffrey.
He hit it for a quick six.
Yes, sir.
Completion on second down, third down.
Bertie go to evidence for Twanky-Foe.
Twanky-Foe.
You see how he pulled up a little bit over there on that 24?
Man.
Hey, that was that.
Is that early stage?
of what you know what I'm saying is getting a little tight getting a little tight getting a little tight
first down is purdy to McCaffrey for four you got McCaffrey again I think he goes to like eight
right there yes sir first down you know again it's another three purdy goes to McCaffrey for six
making it third and one and then I think uh what was it black yeah that's his name black he gets two for the
first down. And then they finished it all to kiddo. 11 yard touchdown. Walk down TD early.
Walk down. Went down there. Walk now. Sorry. Washington get back out there. And I was surprised they
actually scored. I ain't even lie. But they go out there. Daniels. What's that? McLearn for 27?
Yes, man. My man, Scary Terry. Terry. Terry.
Yo
Yeah,
then San Francisco defense
They decided
They want to stand up a little bit
Second down, I ain't go even lie, bro
I thought Daniel's night
Was about to be ended right there, bro
When he scrambling
He got their little pop on him
Bro, that man was getting hit
A lot more than I was hoping for
I was watching the game
With a big commander's fan from the crib
He's like, bro, please get down
Every time he's in like, is his arm okay?
I'm like, yeah, it's all right
His arms all right.
Yeah, for sure, for show, bro.
Listen, that next play, though,
hey, he fought on digs on that third down, bro.
Like, I don't know if it was illegal.
Like, it ain't illegal to me.
No, it's illegal.
It's illegal.
Man, I don't know.
Some part of that might have caught
the little bottom of the helmet or something.
I don't know.
Anyway, he, blah, me.
They end up having to settle for a field goal.
it's 7 to 3
San Francisco get right back out there
First is late
54 yards
No that was the one where he came up
Yeah that's the one where he came up
Grabbing them toes
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah he grabbed him toes right there
First down I think McAfrey would get like three
And then get dropped for three
The down after that
And then it was the false start
Yeah they got the false start
Then they moved them the third and 15
And then Purdy hit Kittle for what, about 12 right there?
Yes, sir.
I get them to that third, no, the fourth and three.
Fourth and three, your boy, Purdy scrambles.
Now look here.
Yes, sir.
See how he did that little ball fake and then went to dive forward?
Yeah.
Normally, before they had them rules on them quarterbacks,
you diving right there to try and blam me,
and it would have possibly stopped me for first down.
or I think it was a touchdown
because I don't think nobody touched him on that
because when they dive head first
they get all the yards they get into touch them right
yes when you go with your feet
it's where you start your slide
right he went head first though
he went here first so they got to get all that
I think it was it really didn't matter
they ended up scoring the one yard touchdown after that
but when it came down to it
that's one of those situations where they do that little
uh-uh and they don't throw it
and then you dive and they like oh you hit him in the head
all that stuff.
Like, he do ball game.
Now, when somebody fire, somebody go fire off on him.
He'll look like he go dive and then he'll turn it to a late slide and he
go get hit.
No, if he go ahead first, though, you're not, you're not, what do they call it?
You're not defenseless.
You see what's going on.
Yeah, they scored another touchdown, but the kicker missed the extra point.
13 to 3.
Washington get back out there, three yards, Eckler.
he came back, huh?
I thought he was out for a minute.
Five back.
Yeah, second down, I think Daniels, he gets sacked or he gets out of a sack.
Yeah, he get out of a sack on that one.
He scrambled through there.
I think it was five or six.
But it was a holding that dropped him back to second.
What, 17?
Daniels, I think hit Diggs for like eight.
Diggs, man.
Let me just thought that.
He was getting hit all night, bro.
Diggs was getting popped all night, but Diggs cleats looked unbelievable.
Those white and red 14s was cranking.
You was looking at the shoe.
I was watching his feet work.
I ain't going to lie to me.
I was watching his feet go up in the air when they was firing off on it.
Those 14s are crazy.
Look, third down, San Francisco were actually sack Daniels this time.
They ended up having to punt.
What was the punt return to thinking on this one, bro?
Like, why is he?
you even trying to get that one.
You almost...
Either.
Back up.
Like, get out...
Get out the way.
Let that thing bounce into the end zone.
Get up out the way.
Man, San Francisco, get out there.
First down, I think it was incomplete.
Second down, it was purdy to kiddle for seven.
Hey, they were sitting out there, bro.
Both sides.
Everybody.
That man...
Who was...
My man, the linebacker?
You made 54, Vernon
San Francisco?
Warner.
Warner?
Fred.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey, I ain't going to lie to you, man, Fred.
Fred was trying,
Fred was going head to head.
Listen, man, Fred might get something on the mail on Wednesday.
Oh, a thousand percent.
A thousand percent.
Fred's going to get a FedEx.
Hey, yes.
Hey, hey, the FedEx, the Fed.
I ain't going to lie.
Hey, Fred, listen, man, the FedEx.
I ain't go lie to lie to.
It's coming.
But I ain't going to lie to.
a lot to you. I was loving everything he was doing about.
No question. I was, oh my goodness.
Intimidation. He's running around full
speech. Leaving his feet.
Hey, don't say all that, nah.
Third down, pretty hit Evans across the middle
on that deep one. And that boy,
Stiles, he made a great play, man.
On the ball, hands on the ball. He's back there
getting depth looking for some. They got a punt to rock
back over there to Washington.
I think it's Daniels, he goes to Diggs.
Every time this man caught the ball, dude, they was popping pads on him, bro.
Oh, he wasn't coughing it up, though.
Yeah, true statement.
True statement.
He wasn't coughing it up.
Yeah, he wasn't coughing it up.
Second down, Daniels hit a, was O'Coon for 29.
The first down was a little bad pass.
I think he could have made a better pass on that.
But second down, he goes to Bates for four.
And then third down, Daniels was scrambled for.
the four and get the fourth and two, they go for it.
My dude scrambles up out of there and he just throws a ball out of bomb.
For what?
Brough, I don't know.
What?
Put it somewhere.
For what?
You got, you got to put it.
Coach looking crazy, quarterback looking crazy.
It's 42.
If the flag was thrown, no matter what, if it's on you guys, if it's on you guys,
throw the ball and play.
If it's on them, still try to get a touchdown.
Like, regardless, throwing the ball out of bounds does nothing for anybody.
So then with the coach on the side talking about some, yeah, field goal, field goal, I'm like, okay, everybody, you guys, from last week to now this point, clock management, you look nuts.
Oh, no question.
They turn the ball over on downs.
We go jump into that for a show.
San Francisco, get back out there.
First down, I think it was.
Black, he runs that ball.
Hey, he ran over, what's the dude name?
Styles?
The rookie?
Yeah.
Oh.
You're going to get that word.
Welcome, welcome, welcome.

Boom.
I think second down, he went back to Purdy, went back to Black for three yards.
And then third down, I think Purdy hits, what is that, Wackens for 22.
22, Joe.
First down, my guy Cooks, he back over there.
Brandon Cooks, is that my homeboy?
I play with him over there in New England.
He picks up 13 right there.
Okay.
He still.
Yeah.
Yeah, bro.
I was with play.
I used to play when he played for New Orleans.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
McCaffrey, I think he goes for six and five.
That was another first down.
I think it's first in ten at like the 33.
And yeah, boy, McCaffrey, he fumbles the rock.
Dude, made a nice play straight punch from the ball.
Nothing else.
Straight rock.
They end up recovering the rock.
San Francisco.
defense get out there and they say we're going to go on ahead and put this file real quick three and out
the first they got a holding and then i think it was daniels he ends up getting sacked
they spiked the ball back over there to san francisco party to mcalfrey for 13 then
kaffrey take it nine second down black come in he get him four for the first
party the uh what's the tight end's name uh who kittle
No, no, no, no, no.
Junk.
What's the dudes name?
Who's it?
Suzik, something like that for 10 yards.
I think it, 44?
Okay, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, 44.
He goes for 10.
Then Black takes it, I think, 6 and 3, making it a 3rd and 1.
McCathry breaks one.
But Sam Fran is called for the holding.
They bumped that thing back to 3rd and 11,
and they let this man purdy scrammed for a first down.
again McCaffrey getting five on the next play
it's a hold in again bumping back to second and what 15
and purdy goes to Evans for 16 in the first time
is that my man goes out that's when he gets up out of there
yeah he getting up out of there I don't think these dudes realize
how much recovery work y'all got to do
they would get to another fourth down I think it was
and go for quarterback sneak we get him the first down
And the next play, McCaffrey will score the touchdown.
It's 20 to 3.
I'm thinking the game about to get out of hand, Joe.
Yes, yes.
Defense was getting hit up in the first half,
Washington defense and offense wasn't doing nothing.
So I'm looking like they're about to get blowed out.
Yeah, I'm thinking.
I'm honestly, Debo, it's looking like it's about to get ugly.
Looking like it's about to get ugly, man.
Washington, they come out there to start the third quarter.
I think it's Daniels.
He hits Burke for 16, 18.
That was 18 over there.
He hit Burke for 18.
That was a nice catch.
Scooped that thing up off the ground.
White ends up going for six yards on the next play.
Second down, they get a holding.
Then they get a false start.
They had second at 19.
I think they picked up about 11 of it.
No, not pretty.
Dad used to Burke's.
And then he gets sacked on the third down.
And Simon just threw old boy into that sack.
Yeah.
He ain't come over there and trying to help his homeboy.
They might have got that off easily.
He double paid past.
He pushed him into the sack.
Full speed.
If you're not going to help me, get out the way.
Get out.
Just, yeah.
Do something.
So they end up having to go on head and punt that ball back over.
San Francisco gets the rock back.
Again, here come McCaffrey for six.
And then one.
And five.
They got a first down.
Purdy, he is kiddle for 35, bro.
Mm-hmm.
First down, black, he go for nine.
They were stopping for no gain on the second down.
And I think Purdy would sneak for the first down on the third.
Now, San Francisco would they get to a third and three,
and the ball got batted down.
They would go, what was that?
That 11 plays right there.
That's 65 yards.
He was up six minutes.
You can field goal,
23 to 3.
I'm thinking the game is over with.
And Washington makes like they want to come back to life, brother.
Yes, sir.
First down, I think White went for eight and five.
That picked up another first.
Daniels to O'Coon for, what was it, 16?
Washington will work their way to a fourth and five,
have to go for it.
And Daniels finds Diggs for 13.
They go through a little scuff, four, five plays later,
something like that, however it go.
Daniels will hit Diggs for the one-yard touchdown.
Yes, sir.
Game now, Joe.
Come on, finally.
23.
Finally.
At a game.
San Francisco get out there and watch the defense make like they want to stand up now.
Sack Purdy on the first down.
I think they made a, what, picked up eight on the second down,
compared to McCaffirte,
uh,
that,
uh,
third down,
or was it the third down?
No,
it was the next second down.
I think it's,
uh,
dude,
the DB,
he made a nice play on that ball.
It was in kiddell's hands.
He knocked the thing up out of there.
They ended up having to punt the rock back over.
So they done stood up.
Washington now gets their rock back.
Second down.
Did you see the tight end get fired on?
What again?
Man.
Hey, that's the one I'm talking about.
That was hit.
That's the note right there.
Hey, it's getting hit.
Brough.
Listen, hey, I like it.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
I ain't a lie, bro.
I ain't go a lot.
Listen, third and fourth, Daniel's Fass was incomplete, but they got that good illegal contact.
They get a first down.
And then Fred over there trying to catch him another body on Brown on that, what was it,
Six-yard.
Fum!
Hey.
Fred Warner was tattooing ass the whole game.
Whole game, bro.
Hey, man, he might get two.
He might get two.
It's going to be fine.
He got the bird.
He's good.
Intimidation.
Intimidation.
Second down.
Dave goes to O'Coole for six.
I think you're not ended up picking up a first round.
White goes for five.
Then Daniels hits Diggs for nine.
That was a nice catch.
Another first down.
Then they get to a third and eight, and Daniels goes to Williams, and he takes it 23.
Then you add the roughing the passer onto it.
They first and gold at the nine, and White would then run it in for a nine-yard touchdown, 17 to 23.
Okay.
San Francisco, offense get back out here, and Washington's defense stands up again.
Then Purdy got a scramble on the first down for six.
Then he gets sacked on the second down.
And it's incomplete on the third down.
They got to punt the right right back over to Washington.
Yes, sir.
Washington get the ball.
Hey, second down.
Fred was out there all night.
He was trying to get him a body.
He tried to get him another body on that second down.
He didn't get it.
They get to third and four, though.
And Daniels goes to Williams for 10.
Yep.
Second down.
Daniels goes to Burt for 30, bro.
That was a nice catch.
Yes, sir.
That was a nice catch.
The ball.
And then I think it's Mick Nichols.
31 yard.
Touchdown to the house.
Bring that shit back.
That's right.
It was a legitimate face mask, though.
Your hands all in the man face.
Almost ripped his helmet off.
Almost ripped his helmet off.
He didn't need to do that.
He was gone.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They'd end up getting to, what was it, a fourth and eight at about the 30-yard line,
and they would get sacked.
But legal contact.
Contact.
Hey.
First down.
Look here, man.
On that third and three, when that safety came down here, that's how you're supposed to come down and fire off.
You can't.
Joe.
No stop.
No nothing.
No.
and shoot your pissed.
Shoot your shot.
Shot is shot.
Don't hold it in the burrow.
For sure.
Fourth down, DB made a hell of a play on it.
Turnover on downs.
That's the DB fighting hands all the way through.
You got to catch.
You got to, don't stop.
As a DB, don't be looking back.
If you break that ball up through his hands,
he got to maintain.
And he landed on his den and landed on his head.
So just all you got to do, fight.
through them hands, don't never stop.
Don't never stop.
San Francisco get the ball back.
What they need to do, just get a first down, John.
Mm-mm.
I said, we ain't having that.
Give them another opportunity.
They give them another opportunity.
They ain't got no time out, but they give them another opportunity.
First down, Daniels to white for nine.
I think third down.
Daniels goes to Williams, 17.
That intention of ground, that second heard him.
You can't now.
Come on.
We got to do better.
We got to do better with Clock Management
with getting knowing that we got to
And then the last play
It's a helmet
We got to give a shot
Like it's we're going to lose
You know what I'm saying?
So the sack is game
So just give us a chance
Something got to happen
That's it
Sack game
It's over with
Washington would lose
23 to 17
San Francisco
Now are
Undefil
Oh my goodness
They have six and oh, man.
And, man, Purdy 21 or 29, 264, one touchdown.
Purdy now has the highest career passer rating in the NFL among quarterbacks with at least
1,500 pass attempts.
He's 105.4.
Next is Lamar at 102.7.
Aaron Rogers and 101.8.
The man had been playing for 50 years.
He had 101.1.8.
Okay?
Look here, brother.
The commanders.
have issues over there, dude.
What do you think is going on with their management skills, you know,
do you think we need, or they had a position where they may need to start thinking about moving on from Dan Quinn?
What's going on, me?
The clock, the thing is, the defense in the second half, they play really, really well.
It's now when you, if they were to be able to win that game,
game, when you lose, I mean, when you win, it's able to, you mask mistakes a lot easier.
These are, happened last week.
You did a tie when you should have won the game.
So now the very next week, you guys got to be on that, like situational football
is one of the most important things that you go over every single week.
So it's like, now, obviously, we're looking at it.
Obviously, you would think that the quarterback, we talked about this, Jayne
Daniels and the coach and the team, just y'all are professionals. Be situation
situation. Quarterback, Jane Daniels, we're expecting you. You're going to get $65 million
a year. You're trying to reset the market. This is not hard things that we're saying.
These are just mental mistakes that you're making. So getting the ball, throwing the ball away
on fourth down, where there's like that, you're just basically giving it away. And then on the last
couple of plays on fourth you can't take these sacks we got to somehow get the ball out like so for
jaden and for the coach i'm like is it getting taught because now we're looking at it
each week and coming back like what's going on guys and then the coach on the sideline you saying
field gold uh you blatantly line you look nuts you look nuts you talk about some yeah i'm like
did you not know what's fourth down coach you you got to be situationally aware so i they he looks
crazy to me.
Yeah, I'm, I'm going to, I'm going to knock this Washington thing down to, I think it's a
coaching problem.
That's, that's just what I believe.
This week is fourth and two, and your quarterback just throws the ball away.
Okay, cool.
But also, in that same time frame as you're going, they're going to the sideline, he's
talking about field goal team.
Like, and then you can see his lips.
He's like, oh, it's fourth down.
Like, yeah, my, it's four.
What are you talking about?
Like, how do y'all not know that that is fourth down?
And then you go to the other week when they were with the Giants, dude, you snap the rock and actually try and run a play at 12 seconds.
Everybody knows 15 seconds, like in an emergency situation to, like, run the field goal team on there.
You didn't even have to do that.
I think it was like second down or something like that.
Like, play actually started.
I think they had like, damn, there are 40, 50 seconds or something like that.
And they're sitting there just taking their time.
I'm like, they ain't got no time out.
Like, he obviously is going to go up here and spike this ball.
Yes.
That's such an operational things that, like you said, you practice every day, dude.
You practice those exact scenarios in practice, like those moments.
Like, I don't understand.
So this is for me.
Hello?

We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Digi.
Julio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anyone fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business, and I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older.
and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight,
but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.

It's a whole
coaching,
organizational,
thing, y'all looking like chickens running around with your heads cut off, y'all look real like
just discombivalated on the sidelines. Like, I don't know what the hell is going on. Like,
so when it come down to it, I'm with the belief of it's not being taught. And then same thing. Like
you said, you want 65, you want 65 million, bro. Yeah. If not, Zbo, this has to have some,
you know, some, some awareness and responsibility for that. But at the same time, is he being,
taught it.
This is what I'm going to say.
Is it being reinforced?
Both things, like you're saying, Debo, I wouldn't feel like I would need to be taught now
as the quarterback of situational awareness.
Like when we're saying it's $65 million a year, Jayden, he wants to be one of the highest
paid.
So we're not saying against your abilities is all good, but in certain situations, when
it's fourth down, you as a quarterback got to know you cannot throw the ball away.
If it's a flag on you, it's a flag on them.
We have to give our receivers a chance.
You know what I'm saying?
So then with the last on the last game.
But at the same time, think about this, Joe.
You see the coach talking about field goal.
Is he being told that it's third down in his ear?
He got the mic in this year.
Is he like, hey, man's fourth down to the die.
He may be, they can't hear him.
He may be thinking it.
And they're like, oh, no, it's third down.
We're going with this.
If that's the case, oh, my God.
He needs to be fired right now.
to be fired after the game.
Like when people are talking about
back to back weeks, man.
I know.
That's what I'm with you, Debo.
Because I'm telling you this.
Everybody's acting like there's so much going on.
This is what we are poached and played for all the training camps,
all the OTAs, all the bonzai, bonzai, all the quick moments.
You plan and hope to be in these situations at the end of the game.
So now when everyone's like, oh, no, people don't know if you got to have somebody like,
warn of me, it's third down, it's fourth down.
I'm like, what the hell else are you thinking about?
What are we going to do after the game?
We're in the situation right now that we've been planning for since April,
that we've been practicing, how we're going to get through, what we're going to do,
what plays are we going to run?
You know what I'm saying?
Like, now we're in the situation and everybody want to get spooked?
What the hell y'all's nervous for?
Like, that's when I'm going to be looking at it.
I was like, oh, is the situation too big?
The lights actually do get bright on some people,
where next thing you know, they don't know if it's third or fourth down.
I'm like, oh, get this man out.
I can't play with you.
Get him out of here.
Like, calm down.
It's fourth down, everybody.
It's fourth and two.
What we're going to do?
We study for this.
Like, understand, it's a lot of noise going on.
When you're young and you're playing, like, you could, no.
My third or fourth year, you're talking to people.
You don't hear, I don't even know nobody else is out there with us.
We feel like, I'm like, it's the same as the practice field, guys.
All the only thing else is people is in the stands
It's the same size field
So you get to acting different
Get to doing different things
Get to acting nervous
Palms get a little sweaty
Coaches is getting
Huh what are we going to do
What do you mean what we're going to do
We planned to do
Have they planned it? Did they go through it?
Did they practice it? Did they do all that?
Is that something that you repeat on your Fridays?
That's something you do on Fridays
And Saturday walk through
I'm telling you yes
I hope but if they're not
fired
fired immediately.
You don't know the whole staff got to go.
They got to go.
They got to go.
They got to go.
And then the new thing, we got to tell my quarterbacks, on the fourth downs, we got to get
the ball out.
If I, on the last game, when we do, if we do call a pass play, throw it away or throw it to
the ground to the feet of somebody, you can't just brain fart.
No, we don't have no timeouts and just take a sack and just lay there.
You can't even snap that.
You spike it.
If it snapped, though.
If it snapped, then spike it.
You have to still, you can't just.
That's what I thought they were doing.
Look, but then if you do snap it, though, Debo, you're the quarterback.
You're the quarterback.
If you hike the damn ball and you have it in your hands, are you then now, just going to fall with it and then get tapped?
No, you're going to now, oh, I'm in this situation.
The ball is hiked.
I have to throw the fucking ball away so the clock will stop.
Or we lose.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, that's just what you got to do.
Yeah, they lost, I don't know what it was, they lost awareness of all that situation right there.
And then to come back and, you know, having just thaw it away, okay, having throw it away, maybe, maybe by some, I don't know.
You ain't want to throw it into harm's way and had them pick it and have a dude catch it and just take off.
I don't know.
But when they go to the ball anyway.
If you turn to go to the sideline, your coach is talking about field goal team, we got a problem.
Yes.
We got a problem.
Fax.
Y'all get ready.
go on head and maybe pack up your bags
as soon as this year old with.
You don't do nothing with this because you already, what?
One and four now?
One four and one?
They hold a vision, though.
Their whole division is terrible.
So they, no matter what, you got a shot.
Listen, man, I'm trying to tell you, bro.
This right here.
What's up, brother?
Is what you cannot do as a head coach
if you want to keep your job.
Oh.
You can't do that.
No.
No.
Oh, my goodness, man.
Jump on over here to the Steelers, man.
The Steelers are bringing back veteran Y receiver, MVS,
Marquez, Valdez, Scantley.
Ooh, I got that right to the practice squad.
Great job.
Chargers released him over the weekend.
I guess he caught 10 pass for 80 yards.
Last season with us, we are out.
we are without
Pittman Jr., of course.
We have
Roman Wilson, he's out with a finger,
Ben Scaronic, and he has
the calf injury.
You think this
is a good thing? You think this is the best thing
we could have did? Where are you at with this,
Joseph?
I mean,
I know we need a number of the receiver.
I know he has speed, so deep threat.
But for me, I think,
But Bernard,
um,
D.
I understand.
We still got Bernard, but we still, we need, we need some other.
I thought what I'm saying. We need some, we need some depth.
So if he can come out here,
more like Pittman, a deep threat,
I'm all for it.
I'm all for.
Um,
I don't know.
My thing is,
well, for me,
I like it because of what's available.
For, for what's available.
Um,
I think this is actually the best choice for us.
just for the reasons of being familiar with Aaron Rogers and Mike McCarthy's offense
and having a year with Aaron last year, it wasn't exactly what we wanted.
But to get somebody in in the season right now that you won't have to have a big learning curve with,
especially for like terminology and understanding the system and all that, you know,
I think is right.
Yeah.
When you look at what's available out there as far as guys that are in this or has been in Mike's,
Mike McCarthy's system and guys that, you know, just are available.
It's a good choice.
Plus, you're putting him on practice squad.
So literally going to get him to see him out there, practice move around.
And then if the practice ain't looking right or not a thousand percent.
thing going right, then, you know, you can, you know, you can cut and go and get up out of there.
Because we're not looking for a long-term replacement.
So if you want to trade or something like that, that would be foolish to do that because that's not, that's not what we're looking for.
We wouldn't get the value that we would want or need, I would think, because we would lose a draft pick for somebody that we wouldn't even be keeping around all season.
No, no, no, looking at it that way, for sure.
It's a good, good placement.
And for sure, because he's already been in the system,
going to be able to get up to it, get up to a quick.
And then it's not like we asked him to be a number of instant one or two.
It's like it's filling, filler.
You know what you got to do, babe.
Billing where we need you, yep, and keep it moving.
Yes, sir.
Your head coach, Todd Markner, they was asking him why the defense is playing better
without Miles Garrett.
They said that.
He didn't say that.
But here.
No, they didn't say.
They're talking crazy.
Well, I'm not going to say that.
You said that.
I'm not going to say that it's better without Miles.
I don't know that because he's not here.
What I do know is that our guys play with physicality.
They play with elite effort.
They're connected.
And they enjoy playing together.
And that's part of the connection piece.
But they swarm to the football.
And I think if you get that, it allows you to maximize your players measurable skill sets.
And I think you see that collectively each week.
You see that from our guys.
Joe.
Yes.
What do you think about that, Joe?
Yo, coaches, he said, I didn't say that.
You said that.
First and foremost, that's so coach didn't say that.
So I think that it's what it is, Ebo.
Everybody is performing on our defense.
It's 11 players to have to play.
Miles is one of 11, great one of 11.
I'm not sitting here saying that our defense is better.
I'm saying that people are stepping up and performing.
Nobody's getting Miles 23 sacks, but we got Jason Graham.
We got our Malik Cooper.
We got our defense alignment that are actually, they're stepping up.
Everybody's spreading out the wealth.
And then with our secondary, Tyson Campbell is bawling out.
Denzel Ward is having a great year.
Delpit is having a great year.
Swessinger coming off another, he was defensive rookie of the year last year,
and when he's doing it again, playing really well,
ball searching, punching balls out, that's on him.
So no matter where, like Miles went over to the Rams,
and everybody wanted that defense, they have to go out there
and everybody has to perform.
Miles has to perform.
Their McDuffie has to perform.
Each individual player has to go do their part.
If they're not doing it each and every play, they're going to look trash.
So I'm not saying,
our defense is better at all.
I'm just saying that this season,
everybody's doing their part,
making sure that there's no miscommunications.
Miles is not going to be able to protect the right side.
He's not going to be able to cover the tight ends
and be able to do all that stuff.
Everybody has to be balling and doing their job at the same time, too.
So Miles, I don't think our defense is better without Miles.
Hell no, that's 23 sacks.
But accordingly to everybody,
everybody out there playing on the string,
doing their job,
I think it could be,
Similar. So yeah, I'm not going to say it's better, but I just think individuals are playing up to their potential and every miscommunication. It's 11 people. It's 11th and everybody's doing their 11th and some people's 11th are better.
Denzel is going to do his 11th, but if you throw it over there, it's not going to get caught. Just make your plays when you get to make them and not every play is for you. And people aren't just going out of their gaps. Assignments. So it's certain, just spreading the wealth. Everybody doing their job. This one might not be for you, but you holding up this gap and it's going to free it up.
for Swessinger, you know what I'm saying?
So I think they're playing disciplined.
Everybody just do your job.
It's not about you.
When it comes to your gap, make your play.
So it's spreading out the wealth,
but everybody's just doing their assignment.
Yeah, so for me, Todd did the good Dodge, Duck and Wee,
gave credit to the players that he has there.
He didn't discredit the player that he doesn't have there.
I like what he said too.
He was like, well, I don't know.
He's not on his defense.
But y'all do have a way that it's possible to measure if you are better.
And that is just simple.
That's just by numbers.
Numbers.
At the end of the year, you can say that if your numbers are better than last year and you don't have miles this year,
then you can say, yes, you were a better defense this year without miles.
but would you have been better with him?
You don't know because he's not there, just like he said.
Yeah.
So there is a measurable way that y'all can tell that,
but it won't be to the end of the year when y'all finish your year
and find out where it's at, man?
Yeah, because it's, look, Debo, like we said,
players go ahead have to play.
When Miles now is in with the Rams,
Aaron Donald is with the Rams,
Trip Midduffy is with the Rams,
they have to go bring, the names are the names.
They got to go bring Aaron Donald 18 sacks,
Miles Garrett, 20 sacks, Trent McDuffie, three picks
and not let nobody catch the ball for it to be who we think it is.
You know what I'm saying?
So like the name is all good.
But unless you're making those plays on the field,
then it is, it just, it's fluff.
Yes, very, very much fluff.
