Yes, Debo. It was a preseason ball. And it was happening. Hey, Joe, Joe, it was happening. I ain't going to say what the score was. I ain't going to say it was 28. I ain't going to say still. Look at us.

getting very, this is what I'm saying. It's preseasoning. You know, we're getting excited. You know what I'm saying? Very excited. Because it's football finally. We finally seen we get to play against another team as referees. They're keeping score.

So we need to win. They are keeping score and they are calling what they're calling. Joseph, listen, a rookie quarterback that we picked up in the third round. Drew, Drew, Drew, Jones. Aller, all her. See, I got that aller, even though I got a New Aller. I got a good aller.

I messed it up. Come on, man. We done kicked it with Drew. He was the good man at the show. Good man. Come on, man. Sitting right there. Good man was right there.

Sit him right there, man. Look here. Preseason debut. The man was 10, 13, 154 yards. Three touchdowns, two thrown one, ran in, and zero interceptions. Joe, what do you think of my man's first performance? Form. Debo.

Like I'm saying, too, we're all excited. I'm, well, look, first and foremost, I'm happy what I saw from Drew. Honestly, he was in the pocket, standing tall, making good decisions. The ball was spinning out of his hands really well. Obviously, when you get the first play and you get the ball out of your hands and your man gets crazy for a 74-yard, skeddle down to, you know what I'm saying, down to like the three-yard line, that kind of gets your mojo going. When you get the slant and your man can take that and get that good yak yards, that just gets the quarterback flowing. Then with the read option showing he has a little athleticism, being able to get into the end zone, you know, little speed.

It looked good. I was very, very happy to see him go out there and do that with just running the offense, not doing nothing crazy. A lot of those touchdown passes that he has were just dumps to the flat, smooth, get the ball out of your hands. It's early in the preseason. So like we said, we're just excited to see football. But from what you see there, I don't want to crown. You're not going to go crowning them. But all you want to do is continue to see him execute, stand tall in the pocket,

be able to do what he's doing, be able to make plays with his legs, be able to get the ball out of his hands. And from what I saw, it looked good. All of our quarterbacks, though, Depot, looked good. The offense. Look here, man. But when you go and you look at Drew, though, what we're talking about with him is the big thing at Penn State.

They were talking about his issue with his footwork. Mike McCarthy. seen pre-court. Hey, I think pristine for what they talked about his decision-making and his timing. I seen good decision-making. I seen perfect timing. Okay.

Look here, man. The man sat in the pocket. Like Mike McCarthy said, what do you say? He said he was, he was poised. You know what I'm saying? He said he was very, he was very poised. That's what he said about his quarterback after the game, man. Listen, you got the quarterback whisperer

sitting over there with him. Listen, that arm was never an issue. He could laser that thing put it wherever it need to get to. He just had a problem of making sure he got exactly where he wanted to put it. And right now, if this right here is any indication, if this is the basement, where we started off, first day, the incline, Joe, where we going from here? It's nowhere with up. But, like, that's the one thing I'm saying, Tudot, Debo, just about our offense in general.

We had some good, we had some bad, but right now we go to me. We're going with the good. Let's go with the good first. With all of our quarterbacks, each one, Mason Rudolph was a pinky toe away from going 11 for 11, going perfect. You know what I'm saying? That touchdown in the back of the end zone, he throwing people off of him.

We at the one, he went 10-4-11. That was his only incomplete pass of the game. You know what I'm saying? Then second quarterback comes in there. Will Howard. He went 7 for 9 for 86 yards. You know what I'm saying? He ran the two-minute drill to perfection.

That dude, Robert Tonio. Oh my goodness. That dude, the third tight end, he was finding him all through that two-minute drill right on the money, that post-ball he threw him. He's a centimeter away from a tutty. You know what I'm saying? So Will Howard, run that two-minute drill,

getting the ball down there, perfect timing, hitting the ball, hitting Robert Tanya. So the offense right there with him coming in, Will Howard, he looked good also. His first series, when he tried to start scrambling, he's a little, you know what I'm saying? He's not a scrambler.

That dream made me laugh when I saw him trying to get out the pocket. I'm like, I will. I will. Don't hurt yourself now. You don't, okay, you're not that fast. Okay, that's all good. You know what I see it? But the second series, he looked good. The two-minute drill, he drove it down there looking smooth. Then, and then Drew came in there, like we said, and he did exactly what he had to do. The 153 looks crazy because when you get a slant that goes 74 yards, after that, man, you know what I'm saying? Everything else, you really threw the rest of his completions worse for about 70 yards. You know what I'm saying? Getting people open, not doing nothing crazy.

crazy. So I like the flow of the offense where all of the quarterbacks I was looking like this. Nobody's looking bad. Nobody's out here just throwing the ball all away. Will Howard on that fourth and one, throwing that, not throwing it to the flat, throwing it to the seven high corner ball. I was like, okay, give him a little touch, Will on fourth and one, just stepping in there, throwing that pass? I'm like, okay, quarterbacks was looking good. We didn't, they didn't, Mason and Will missed on touchdowns, you know what I'm saying, just by a little bit. But when, when Drew got in there, he was able to get those all of those tennies. So offenses looked good for,

offenses looked good just by all the quarterbacks being able to just flow. Nobody was doing nothing crazy. Nobody was throwing nothing out of like throwing passes that didn't need to be thrown. Everybody was taking what they, taking what the defense gave them. And we were methodically moving down the field.

So that's one thing I really liked about all the quarterbacks. It's like, that's the offense. That's what Mike McCarthy is going to bring to them. Look, I'm going to give you this A and B. These are going to be the decision making. So everybody looked, prepared. So that's what I really liked about the O. Dude, Jeremy, Bernard?

Jeremy? Yes. Hey, he was active when he got that. Yes, he did. Listen, he ain't going down easy. That boy is not going down easy. No. He also could have had that touchdown.

You got to dead that leg. A half foot. He hit him a little bit, you know what I'm saying? But like I said, hey. He's in the air. He's trying to push him out of bounds. They get paid to. They do.

They do. They do. They get paid to it. It was good to see Brother Jones back out there, man. That was good to see him back out there. Thousand percent. You know, able to go out there and get back into it. Only my concern was a little bit with the first off the line.

We was going with the good. Now we can go with a little bit of the bad. Penalties. Penalties, number one. And being cooked on that right side, I don't know. Oh, you're dealing. I didn't like that performance. Because when Mason was getting sacked, it was cooked.

He's in two seconds. Like, give him some resistance. And then the second one was backs on backers. He just kind of ran smack through him and took him to the quarterback. So I was like, all right, offensive line, you know what I'm saying? Looked a little, looked a little, look the little sketch. Because the run game wasn't going too crazy, but it's early. The running game wasn't too crazy.

It's early still. I understand that. We ain't got, you know, but at the same time, you want to see, you want to see something better than, what was it, 2.6 yards of total. You want to see something better than that. The penalties, the five, yeah, five. penalties in the first quarter for 55 yards, took away the touchdown run on a hold, you know what I'm saying, special teams.

God, dang, like, we got special teams penalties going crazy. So that's just one thing. It's still early young dudes just making mistakes, lining up over the, lining up over the snapper. Like, come on, just little stuff. Like, don't do that and let them, you know what I'm saying, continue to drive. So basic things, like don't self-inflicted wounds. Still good.

Defense didn't give up a touchdown. You know what I'm saying? So good, good. I'd like to see it's a little stout on some of those runs. You know, we had some guys that got up out of there a little bit. But, you know, other than that, I think the, you know, I think the whole process went well. Like you said, the things that need to improve really need to improve.

But, you know, the quarterback whisper, I think he whispered, man. Mason was out there. Mason was out there and was a pinky toe away from it. from 11411, Debo with a tutty. Yes, sir. Oh, hey, shout out to, shout out to Asante Samuel Jr. also. Tell me about it. He was out there.

Hey, no panic. No panic. No, nothing. Turn his head. So all what was going on got to. We talking about. Didn't panic with the turn and try and dive into the, no. Let me see where it said. Okay, let me get on through here.

No, definitely. Shout out to Asante Samuel Jr., because he had that same neck, that same neck thing that Darry, has, right? So being able to see him come back another year healthy, he was a starter. He, like, he was the first round pick. He had, like, three picks in the first half of a game before in the league. So he's not no jane. So if he's able to come back and really play at this high level, it's going to do nothing to help out that secondary. Because we got Joey Porter, Jr., obviously, we got Sean Dean, get him right, Jalen Ramsey. But if we can get,

if Asante Samuel Jr. can really play like a top corner. And when he was out there, slot, fade, like you said, Debo, he's playing, not panicking. He knows his speed, ball skills. Like, looking back to the ball, boom, let me get that. Like, easy work. So if he can play like that, continue to play at that high level, he's going to do nothing but help with our defense. So I wanted to shout him out for show. Hey, I'm going to give a shout out to Ben Scoronic, too. Ben went out there he got a penalty, though, you know what I'm saying? You got to be a little more careful when you don't knock some dude down and he end up in front. You can't just give him the little push. If he had gave him the little push, he might have got away with just a little bump, you know.

I'm saying. He made some catches out there too. Of course, that's our special team's days. So we can't have you out there setting, you know, setting bad examples. But he did his thing. They're starting quarterback for their preseason game. Saturday against the Bears. According to your boy, Adam Schaeffner, the plan is to start Sador Sanders in the second half, in the second preseason game at next Saturday's game against the bills. Yes, sir. What do you think, man? You think this is, you know, them trying to get Sador the backseat or you think them, they're trying to actually get this man an opportunity because I don't, I don't. don't know. You tell me, you know what I'm saying? That's your, that's your squad. You got more of an understanding of what's going over and over there. You know, how confident are you in the,

the plan will go as they say, I should, I should ask. I'm confident because, look, we have two preseason games, we're going to have to figure out what's going on. He said Deshaun Watson's going to start one game, and he said Shador Sanders is going to start one game. So I'm just going to go for, I'm going to take his word for it. So with this, let's just, Sean, Watson start the first game, it's going to be a way. I think just with the crowd-wise, you said he's, either one of them going to start, let him start the first one. Smooth. Let's see what Deshawn can go out there to do. Give him a great chance. Let him start at practice. You know what I'm saying, warm him up. So let's give him the best chance to succeed. My whole thing is then next week,

when it's Shador Sanders chance to play, they're going to Buffalo. It's going to be joint practices. So leading up to that, how many reps out, get Shador all of these reps to one so he can be in there, get familiar with his squad, too. I'm just wondering how the practice reps are going to look going to go into the preseason game. I thought they was at home against Buffalo. They're at home against Buffalo. I think they might be home against, if they're home against Buffalo, they're still

practicing versus Buffalo. It's still joint practices. So Buffalo might be coming to us. We might be going to them. I just know it's joint practices that week before we play. Yeah, I think the Buffalo game is at home. Right. So, Joe.

Yes. You know, me, Joe. I like to think. So, I think it will go as planned. I ain't go, I ain't going to be trying to y'all. I think it will go as plan. But I think it could possibly change because Monkin did say he wanted to see the quarterbacks play a half and do get a two-minute, you know, get a two-minute drive situation. So if he doesn't get a two minute drive situation,

I think that could possibly change. I think that's the only way that it changes. Like he said, Shador will start the next game and he'll get this opportunity to go out there, play against the ones and show what he can do. And it'll be more against the ones because that would be the second game. So it should be all your starters in there

at least for the first quarter, if not the first half of the game. Yeah. So I'm a, I'm a, I'm a role with the positivity of the situation right now. But I also think it might be a coordinated effort to let my guy should door get the first preseason start at the crib. The fans want to see him. The fans definitely want to see him.

They've been getting that nod at preseason. You can't. They're calling the man out the tunnel, Joe. I'm trying to tell you right now. is going to be jumping. Look, all we got to do, because I want to see both of them be able to get out there and play. I want Deshaun to get his shot.

I want Shador to get his shot. And if both of them go out there, like the same way we're doing with all quarterbacks right now when we're watching them, it's so much easier to evaluate you in a real game. Like, we see how you're coming out of huddle. Are you running the offense right? Are you being able to get people to the line?

Are there just cadency issues? You know what I'm saying? So we get to, It's so much different when you go out there and now, like our coach, we hear what you're saying, Todd Monkin. Let's go see. Then they're saying now that he said that Deshaun Watson is obviously more athletic and Shador has a stronger arm. I'm like, okay, so let's go see what it looks like in the game. What's going to work to make our offense look best?

Who moves the ball the best? Like, let's watch and see that. So I can't wait to see the Browns be able to get a chance to see our team, see our quarterbacks out there play. Yeah, for sure. So I guess Shadour, he apologized to the reporters for his actions at a previous press conference. Shador Sanders apologized to the media after being frustrated and short with the reporter. We got the clip. Let's see what he said.

Let's go. I want to apologize for how things was last time I came up here before y'all. I think dearly I dislike when it's a lot of. separation and when something and when something gets between the team and people get painted a certain way and all this different type of stuff so that's where I get frustrated and I and I shut down you know because this doesn't help us win so it's kind of like an option but not an option so I don't I feel draining when I express myself to people in places and cameras when it's not perceived and taken the right way or is we're trying to divide the team

or anything like that. So that's where I was just trying to preserve my energy from going in depth with a lot of things. So, definitely. So I guess Shador had previously become upset with a question about his quarterback competition with Deshaun Watson declining to answer it by saying next question. I answered that question a thousand times before.

Hey, Joe. You think it was necessary for my guy to apologize? I don't think it was necessary for him to apologize, but I just think he's trying to just be. a real person and kind of let them know. Like, if y'all keep asking me the same questions, like, at the end of the day, I'm really just trying to be in this, I got feelings. And y'all keep asking me the same thing.

I'm trying to be the best that I can be. And this has anything to break up the team. If I say something, y'all are going to make it into something. So I'm trying to just keep it as chill as possible because I got a quarterback competition that I'm trying to go and do. I know the media can spend anything I say to make it look, put me and Deshaun versus each other. I understand. I just need to be the best quarterback that I can be to try to win this job.

So me getting pissed at you guys is kind of like, leave me alone a little bit. This isn't helping out my situation. But at the same time, now when I'm coming back, I'm going to apologize because I'm not honestly mad at you guys. This is what it is. You're asking me the same question, and I can't dive into an answer because I have nothing for you. I'm working to be the best that I can be.

I'm in the obviously quarterback competition versus Sean Watson. What else do y'all want for me? Like I've told you all I'm out here. We're battling. fighting. So it's just the same answer, the same, you keep asking me the same question. And instead of me keep having to give you the same answer, I'm going to tell you how I really feel. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just, I can't tell y'all what's up. I'm proud. You know what it is. It's just annoying. Y'all are getting a little annoying.

Yeah, look here, man. I don't understand why y'all, um, y'all media is so counterproductive dude to, like, trying to actually, like, build something like, like, positive. Like, It's like everything they want to report is like drama-based. If there's no drama, they don't want it. I definitely don't think it was necessary for him to apologize. You get, like you said, you get sick and tired of answering the same question over and over. You know, and this is something that, like, I think he's going to have to come to a realization of, like, understanding, like, he may have to cut down the access. So, like, when I got to the point when I was playing, bro, that I was being asked questions and I had to, you know, like, regularly talk to people.

and now, you know, I'm getting interviews every day. And I started to get frustrated, dude. I'm being asked the same question by different people. And, you know, it's over and over again. But like for all that local media that want to come in there and ask you those questions or they come in and they come in and

they do whatever. You got your Saturday production meetings and all that stuff. But that's something different. You know, you go do that anyway. And you know what? I was like, hey, I'm talking one day. And I believe it ended up, well, it ended up being a Friday at the end of it. Okay.

And I'm like, I'm talking Friday. And after that, then I'm not, you know, I'm not talking about nothing else. So I go to my locker on that Friday. Like, yo, they be coming. I'm like, all right, you ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. Let's, you know, let's go ahead and do it.

And I'm, you know, I'm ready. I mean, if they wanted to, I guess they could have complained about it and said, you know, he wasn't available or whatever, you know, every day for interview. But I could have made myself available and I would just sit there and I wouldn't answer the question. I can talk about whatever I want to talk about. I just got to make myself available. It don't mean I have to answer that question. So I think what he's going to have to do is just go ahead and be like, yo, you can ask me questions on this day. This is the day you can ask me questions.

And the reason I started making mine Friday is that, you know, I was starting to get found. Yeah. No, I feel you. I'm like, you know what? On Friday, they can't ask me nothing about what happened on Sunday. They can't ask nothing about what happened on Monday on Tuesday or Wednesday because it's going to be old news. So Friday, all you can ask me about is my next opponent and what we're going to do and how that approach is going to be to dealing with them. And all that other stuff is now old news. So I think that's a situation where he's going to have to, you know, like sit down and be like, you know what? This is what it's going to be going to be.

he must have said something to Jaden like he was going to do, like he might have wanted to retire from him. I can't think who was. Billy, Brian Kelly. Yes. Brian Kelly. Okay. So it was Brian Kelly that told him and promised him that he could wear number five.

That's what he told him in the recruiting process. Okay. Lang Kiffin ends up getting over there. He tells, he tells Lang, hey, they told me I could wear five. Lane said, okay, cool. They promised he could wear a five. He let him wear the number because it's not retired. Yeah. So, I mean, I don't think you got a leg to stand on there or should really have a big issue.

You know, I'm not saying, you know, that. LSU, you know, disrespected the Daniels family by letting do use his number. They never said that the number was retired. You want your number to not be used. You got to get them to retire that thing. They usually come with a little bit of paper.

You know how they go. You got you got doing a little bit, little bit of paper to the university. And ego. The big thing is ego. You know what? Jerry, Jerry Jones, Dallas. Dallas, 88.

Dallas 88 has been, has been a thing for what they say, 53 years. Since 1973, first person that wore 73 to 83 was Drew Pearson. That was the original 88. Hall of Fame, first team all pro, all that good stuff, right? After that, Michael Irving. And then you had Des Bryant, and now you got CD Lamb.

Like, it's no ego, like with that number. You can't wear my number or however that process goes. They like, you know what, man, look here. This is the number that goes to the guy that plays at this position, and that's our dog, and this is who getting it if we feel like he deserves to wear it. And when it comes down to it, everybody's going to know what your number was if you were that dude in that number on that team. And right now, 88 for the Dallas Cowboys, who you thinking of when they say 88? I'm Michael Irving.

Michael Irving. And that's what it is. Jenny with the CD. And they just, you're going to be a baller to rock that jersey. And Michael Irvin looks at it like a right of passes. Like, hell yeah. Get my number one to rock the jersey. And that's when I was looking at with LSU about like number seven,

with Patrick Peterson, with Leonard Fernette, with Honeybadger. Like, I don't know about the situation about how they retire in the numbers. It's not retired officially. So it's like, I feel like when you get your jersey retired, it's not for you to retire your jersey. It's for like you to come in like the team with a, The school, that's something that they put upon you. No, like, no, I'm in the Hall of Fame.

No, the team, that's just, that's somebody, they put you in that. It just makes me feel a little like, like, not like, what is it just, what is a word I'm looking for? Like, you just feel like entitlement. That's what I'm thinking. Okay. It's kind of like a little bit of entitlement. Like Tim Tebow, rock 15 in Florida. He's not going saying like, nobody can ever rock 15.

People are rocking 15 at Florida. because Tebow would be, I'd be like, yo, if anybody had retired a number in Florida, 15. Nobody, like, Tebow, you did your thing. He's looking at it like, no, Anthony Richardson got the word. The next quarterback, he's probably just looking at this thing. And if the Florida Gators were to come and retire Tebow's number, nobody would say nothing. We'd be like, oh, yeah, Tebow, you deserve that. Like, it should have been retired.

Like, a long time ago, his jersey could have been retired a year after he played, retired. Boom, Tebow, you did everything you needed to do for this university and you should get your number of time. He hasn't said nothing. He's just chilling because I think if it happens, eventually, it's going to happen. But the entitlement of like, no, y'all need to do this for me. I'm like, bro, don't nobody need to do nothing.

Right, bro, you're chilling, waiting. And when it happens, it's going to happen. You're obviously like, let time go. But I just feel like when people start feeling entitled to things, I just, nah, I need to be in there. I'm like, just, it's, obviously you do. You have the right to feel the way you want to do. But now you're like, no, nobody can't wear my stairs.

like this. Like, punk you. If they did not say they're retiring and nobody else would wear it, you have nothing to stand on, it's just your ego. And that's, that's it. That's what's talking. Like, you're, you're worried about what somebody, number, somebody is wearing in college that they never said that they were going to retire for you or however that process is. They're saying that's not retired. So they obviously didn't, didn't, didn't retire the number. No matter what they say, it ain't. It's still there. Like, you're over here in Washington, Playing for the command of it. Why are you?

Like, playing for the command of it. Like, you need to be worrying about what you're going to do to stay healthy over here in Washington so you can stay on the field, bro. You over here worried about you got your lawyer sitting and all this other stuff. But, man, stop it. When I was looking at my man, when I heard Leonard Fernette, he spoke on it like, yo, Jaden Daniels, you're not bigger. You're not bigger than the university.

More people are always going to come in and it's going to be what it is. So let them bless you. You've done amazing and abundant for the school. So they're going to come back and get you. Right. You know what I'm saying? But LSU is going to move on regardless. LSU is going to be LSU. There was a Joe Burrow. There was a Jaden Daniels. There's going to be another five-star first round pick quarterback that hopefully comes here that's going to ball out and maybe break your records. You know what I'm saying? So LSU ain't going to where. So just let it be cool because we know what you did here. We're going to respect it. But come in Adam. I think that may come with the fear of somebody else wearing it and you being forgotten. See, that's what I'm When you're saying that, I can't even understand that because it's like, what?

You did what you did. You had that Heisman. You are Jaden Daniels. That is what it is. Nobody can ever take that away from. What if a dude come behind him, come in, get that five and win two Heisman.

Look, you know, decision was made that was out of my control. obviously every competitor wants to play.

But moving forward, it's just about continuing to work hard and just staying ready for when my number's called. What were your initial thoughts when you found out the decision had been made? Obviously disappointed. You know, I'm a competitor. But at the end of the day, you know, it's in the past. And I'm moving on to the next practice, the next rep, the same mindset I had going into it and focusing on the Giants this week.

Jay, Jay, why do you say it was out there? There's so many things out of our control. Like the heat today. And, you know, it's just, really having the discernment to figure out which of the two. And, you know, that was one of the things outside of my control and me attacking and optimizing every opportunity, which was in my control, and that's all I was focused on. For who they picked as a starting quarterback, it was out of his control, him putting up his best foot forward. No, Joe, it's not out of his control, Joe. Stop it. It was all his control. You could, he had to outplay Kyle Murray to win the job. And basically he did it.

So I feel you, Debo. You can't say it's out of your control. And then you're talking about you got to have a discernment. It still ain't there. Your play dictates if you go in there and you were the starting quarterback. But obviously your play through the course of the last whatever time they've been in preseason hasn't dictated that. And now, you know, he's talking about, what is it?

He wants to, he wants to be there. You know, he said, this is the place I want to be. I love, hold up. I love every single person in the building. I love this state. I love the fan base. I'm getting to continue to do I'm going to continue to do whatever the organization

you know needs to do for this team well damn JJ hey man where was that energy when uh Kyler Murray first got there because um it was I'm over here he over there and we are meeting the middle of motherfucking room right here motherfucking now and me like it wasn't that wasn't the energy

you're doing. Then, bro. Like, it was, hey, he, he over there, I'm over here. This is what it is. I'm good. Do yourself, you know, this is my team, blah, blah, blah. So this quarterback battle, it reminds me of when Deshaun Watson,

and in Shador, they're having a quarterback battle. But the way that they went about it was the right way. When they're not trying to start no drama, we understand what it is here. We're just trying to put the best foot forward. J.J. McCarthy, he made it into a me versus him. I don't need nothing from breath. He's sitting over there. I'm sitting over here.

So at end of the day, you got to put you now, stand on it. When you go out there and your coach says, no, he's going to be the starting quarterback now. That must mean you had your shot. He had his shot. He outperformed you. So now you like this out of my control. It was completely in your control, but he's trying to say the coach is going to look at the tape

and he's going to be able to decide who he likes because you put your best foot forward, Colin Murray put his best foot forward. Did the Vikings get a new coach? Your coach is looking at this and saying, Kyle Murray is going to give us the best chance to win. So. Joe, Joe, did the Vikings get a new coach?

Did they get a new head coach this year? No, they did. So they drafted him. Yeah. They drafted you, okay? and now you're not the starter. Do you think he wants to make himself look bad in the draft process and it's out of your control?

Hell no. I know a lot of coaches that will fight and stumble and kill themselves to keep their ones and tools in a position to make it look like they made the right choice. He ain't doing that. He ain't. It was all in your control and you lost control of it. Thinking that you were,

I think this might be a point where, you know, Everybody thinks they're better than what they are. You're not as bad as they say you are, but you ain't as good as you think you are. Coachman goes to that all the time. You know what I'm saying? And I think this is a situation where he needs to realize he's not as good as he thought he was.

And people want to... But he's also not as bad as the negative people say he is. And right now, his discernment needs to come up. At the end of the day, when you have another... When Colin Murray comes over there, Kyle Murray was the number one overall pick. So maybe the situation, may not have been what he needed in Arizona.

He comes over here to the Vikings with a good offensive coach, a good offensive coordinator that's putting him, giving him knowledge to, oh, no, this is what we need to go with the ball, decision-making, like helping him out, improving his skills as a quarterback. And you got JJ McCarthy in here that thinks that it is what it is. No, when you see Colin Murray now, oh, no, he can really spin the ball. He just needed a little bit better coaching.

He's actually better than you. You know what I'm saying? So just the cockiness of thinking, oh, no, no, you see a real one coming in here. Jada sees it. Jefferson is getting these boys. Oh, my goodness. Like, I don't, okay, JJ, you was here last year? That was, but this dude can really throw the ball.

And now we got a coordinator and a coach is putting him in a position like not making him have to freestyle. Like, just running around like a chicken with his head off because the man can run. He can move and he can throw. He has a strong arm. So, Collin Murray has all the attributes. He may be short for show, but I don't give it. I don't care. He's fast.

He's damn at four three. Right. You don't, coordinate JJ at the beginning, I don't need nothing for me. I don't need no veteran leadership in none of that. You know, I'm here. What? And I'm one of all big. You've been in legal longer than you. He got a little bit more knowledge. I would hope so.
