How you doing today, Joe? I am doing great, brother, Debo. Free agency, live in effect. A lot of people, a lot of action. Things are happening as we speak right now, this very moment. So I'm loving this part of the offseason where you see what your team is talking about, what they're trying to do, who's trying to make moves, are they good moves or bad moves? So I'm excited.

Oh yeah, definitely, definitely do it. So what we go do is we go, we miss our, we missed the, we miss the, what do you call it, the chat? Yeah, we missed the super chats yesterday. So we go, we go do them at the top. We're going to do yesterdays at the top at the end. We'll go do those at the top. Then we'll get to whatever else is in the lineup. But right now, we're going to get into the Steelers, man. Why is they still talking about we must get a quarterback to, you know, like, it's not, it's not happening in this draft, Joe. What do you think, what do you think, what do you think the possibilities of anything happening in this job? I got a whole, I got a whole set of what I think is going on. This is what I'm saying when people start the panicking. They're like, oh,

just because people are making moves with Max Crosby, we got to go and make a pick, we quarterback who Steelers are, I'm like, look, calm down, calm down. Everybody relax. Since people are making moves, you don't want to make a bad move. If you do think at the end of the day, I feel a lot of the Steelers that they think Malik Willis is the guy. They don't believe in the Will Howard.

I can respect that. I can respect that thought. Do you know what I'm saying? But at the same time, there's no rush. We don't have to rush into these things. we still got, like we said, I believe in still thinking that we can give Willoward a chance, Malik Willis is probably a more valuable option. He's showing what he can do in the league.

He has valuable reps. He's won games with Green Bay, so I can see where they're coming from. But is that who Mike McCarthy likes? Does Mike McCarthy like Will? Does he not want to put that money there and be able to go do some other moves? How does he plan it? So I don't want us to panic when you start seeing things happen around the league. And like, oh, my gosh, what are we doing?

Are we just standing? No, no, no, no. Sometimes it's not the smartest move for them to make the quickest one. You know what I'm saying? So I'm not in a panic state. I still like Will. I understand Malik, if people don't like him. I'm not against it at all.

He hasn't proven anything. He was a drafted pick. They put Mason in front of him like last year when why didn't they put him in? I can hear what everybody's saying. But for me, I'm rocking with Mike McCarthy. I'm rocking with Omar Khan. I'm letting them take their time and not just. rush and make rash moves that they don't believe.

Right. You know what I'm saying? So I can see what teams making moves, whatever, it's early in free agency. You want to make a pop. You want your team to be going across the ticker. Like, oh yeah, we did this. Okay, you could do that and it could be bad. And the next you know, time will tell.

So it's still early, still early in FierC, we still got time. We can still make moves. I just don't. I can see when some people want Malik. And they will start panicking like, oh, yeah, let's go here and do this. But I'm in the mind frame where don't rush. We still do got will, even though other people don't believe in it. I know we have money that we have other places that we need to do.

We just released John News, so we're opening up bread, so we got things that we can do. So I'm still chilling. I would like our team to go across the ticket, too. I want to see the still is getting a linebacker. You know what I see? We just signed Asante Samuel Jr. on the opposite side. Small, one year, four million. I like the way he played.

He gets another year in the defense to be able to get comfortable. You know what I'm saying? Coming in midseason, you know, feet still, he still couldn't get comfortable. Now he got a complete off season. He's on a prove-it deal. You know how those work? Oh, yeah. Getting comfortable now he knows he's trying to go get that bag.

So I'm like it. That little things like that is smooth under the radar, but we're just trying to get what we need. Don't rush and go do something. And like, oh, yeah, look who we got. We got this big name. It doesn't matter. There's a lot of names out there that dudes aren't just like,

oh, yeah, this dude that have the prove-it deals that might not be the dude that you know, but there's ballers out there that, you know what I'm saying? you could pick that one like little stuff like that so that's why i'm out yeah they need to they need to stop panicking man because we are not we are not drafting a quarterback we are not picking up a quarterback a free agency yes it's definitely something that we need to address depending on how things look like you said willis it's not going to happen there's too many people after him the money he go command it's going to be out of control and another reason is he's not signed yet

And I think it's a lot of people right now that's sitting back and they're like, well, I ain't trying to give him the bag bag for this small sample of work. You know what I'm saying? So ain't nobody really jumping the gun to go and be like, yo, here, here it go. And we already talked about the draft. There's nothing there. So that's out. It's just not even happening there. And right now, the big thing for me is, like you said, like what can Will Howard do?

he is a national champion. We haven't given him a chance to either prove or disprove he can or can't do it. And as you said with Mike McCarthy, he likes Will Howard, dude. He said himself, he was like, I'm really excited about Will.

He said, I'm really excited about Will Howard. He said, I'm anxious to get to work with him. And he said he loves the way he plays the game. And when he said that, he was talking, he was pointing to how Will played his best ball in the college playoff. So with him saying that about Will, he's definitely going to give him a chance. Yeah.

And this year, it's going to be the end of speculations of can he do it or can he do it? And the good part was last year, he was on the bench. He was able to sit behind here. He was hurt too. You don't have to. That's why he didn't get a chance. You don't have to rush nobody into it, him being able to get the flow, be able to not have to play his rookie season. He's still the same dude, like with a year under his belt, now getting more comfortable.

So I would love to see him with a chance because he's a big body and he's done it before. Yeah, yeah. And that's something else. He's fully healthy now. He fractured, I think he fractured his hand last year. And I believe that was really, you know, kept him out of the flow of being able to, you know, fight for a spot. And another thing is we're waiting on Roger's dude. Like, we're waiting on his decision.

He hasn't gave 100% answer one way or the other dude. And when you do that, it's like, okay, we ain't making no moves because we're, okay with where we're at. So that makes me believe that the Steelers they're at a point where it's like, okay, we're content where we're at right now. We're going to give Will Howard a chance and we believe that

the option rolls around and say it's not working out or it's not looking like it's going to work out that Rogers will still be there. Because from his talking, a lot of people believe it's Pittsburgh or nowhere. Yeah, I don't know what I'm saying? Is it's a bunch of other teams out there that's looking to, you know, grab him right

now anyway. Yeah, yeah. So we still have that option. Our next thing is, like everybody's saying right down here in chat, it's like, a receiver. Yes. Like, we're looking at the receiver position. And when you look at it, you know, they were talking about the possibility of the best guys around available.

And it was two guys that I liked that was in that talk. And I think it was Alec Pierce. That was one. Yes. And the other one was Wondell Robinson. And the reason I like Pierce is I think we can get him for a good price. Like he has a little issue with like separation, you know, just at the line getting off, you know, bump coverage. His routes aren't really as sharp as they would like to be, but do.

He running four-four-one. Yeah. You might as well say that's a four-three game speed. Boy, six-three, almost two-fifteen. He got 47 catches last year and still had over a thousand yards, Joe. Yes. That's 21 and some chains. That's real life deep threat.

40 inch vertical, 40 plus inch vertical, dude. Ball skills is nice. He's a high point catcher. He's going up to get the ball. He tracks the ball well. He's coming down with the 50-50. Almost 70-80% of the time. And Joe, he can block it.

The boy like to get physical. See, I like Alex Pierce. I like him. When they were talking about the trade for Michael Pittman Jr., I was like, I like Alec Pierce, just a little more, and he's going to be a free agent. So that one, a thousand percent you're saying, I like Wondell Robinson, too, as a possession receiver can get open. Right. And just, you know what I'm saying?

That's a guarantee we need that. But I'm also a fan of Romeo Dobbs. Romeo Dobbs is a get it done dude. He does all of the dirty work. He blocks. He catches. He doesn't make a lot of noise, but he goes out there and gets it done. So I think he's one that we could be able to get for the low two at.

Prove-it deals still going out there grinding. He's a great receiver that. He's a little older too, though, though, though. He's a little older, but he's still getting it done. Rout running, and it's not going to be as expensive as some of these other dudes. So I like Romeo Dobbs. I like Wondell Robinson, for sure, Slot, and Alec Pierce, 100. Or any of those three will be a nice add to the roster.

Yeah, definitely. Wondell Robinson, that's a, that's a yak machine. I think he only like 5, 7, 5, 8, something like. that but hey he almost heavy as you well i don't know how much you wait no more joe he's 185 you know what i'm saying that's man yeah we're saying we're effective you know he saying we're saying we saying wait like i said he affected man he like you said the short route he got that he got that quick in and out he go hit you on them whips and them options that quick slam game you know what he danglish once he get it in his hands yes like we had uh what's my man like we had the receiver

that came to us last year from minnesota um thieling okay yeah yeah yeah Yes, young feeling. Get it done. Third down, possession receiver. Yeah, and listen, something else I want these people to get out of their head. What? We ain't trained T.J.

Y. He ain't going to where, me. He ain't going to no way. No. Like, y'all. It's not the way they do business. That ain't the way they do business. It's not going to happen. But, you know, me, Joe.

I like to, I like to, I like to, you know, ask questions and give speculations, you know, with that being said. Again, T.J.W.A.W. ain't going nowhere. That's just media, endless speculation. It ain't happening. Man just signed what, three-year deal, $123,000, 108 guaranteed just last July. Yes. Okay. We got $50 million in cash pay, so we ain't got no money issues. I know his numbers down, all that other stuff. That don't count because you're not looking at the stats that don't have numbers to them that he adds to, which allows other people to be able to do what

they do. And the first, like I said, Joe. And he's out because he got punctured lung from the in-house. He didn't do that. So he's just keeping it cool, like, you know what I'm saying? So now let him heal from that. When he's on the field, numbers, everything, he just was out because he had a punctured lung. It's not his bad.

third contract, when they're looking They don't care about the numbers say it was seven and a half sacks last year. They don't care about why, why he was missing games because he was injured. You know what I'm saying? What's care about the punctual lung? Seven to half sacks doesn't look like double digits and what he's done for the last five years in a row. When you're making $35, $40 million a year, it is literally what have you done for me lately? Like what have you done for me last season?

You know what I'm saying? Like there's no low time. Like you're getting paid 40. You should be showing me $40 million worth of work. every season, every game, every snap. So that's how names even get put into there. But when you're looking at it, like, TJ's, his production, he has 115 sacks so far in his career.

Okay, that's, okay, that, like, the numbers are speaking for themselves. Seven and a half last season because he was hurt, but names like T.J. Watts, the best players that do it at this level, two first round picks, all right. Okay, he's 31. I mean, okay. You do kind of, it sounds, it's intriguing. but like I yeah I would I don't think TJ's going anywhere to stills I don't think they do business like that but like you said if they're talking two first round picks you got to ask and you you're gonna you might answer the cause you're talking about yeah speaking speaking to speaking the two first round picks the damn Ravens went and got Max Crosby that's they from the Raiders dude two first rounds picking 26 picking 26 man the dude doesn't have what is this 69 and a half sack since 2019

that's double what the actual Baltimore's top sacker did in that same time span he only had 30 I think it was the detack he's also a detackle though so you got to look at that that's that's still that's still impressive you know it comes down to it so when you look at it like over the last what is it one two five years Baltimore has blown NFL worse, 16 leads in the final minutes of the game, five, five or more than any other team. And last season, they blew two of them in the fourth quarter, one by 15 with four minutes left and one by 11 in the fourth quarter, bro. With them getting Max Crosby, brother, do you think this makes them real contender?

and he'll be able to put a fire out to the inability for them to finish games in the fourth court. I think it's a big time help. I don't think it's the main thing. I think they still got to do a little bit more on that defense, you know, but adding Max Crosby just shows into the day, the Ravens know. They have their franchise quarterback. They have Lamar Jackson. They haven't been able to even make it to the Super Bowl.

So these big moves for these type teams, Like they don't have time to go try to get that first round pick that might pan out. No, let's go get a Max Crosby that we know he's going to come here. He's going to add to the defense. He brings the energy. He wants to win. This is the type of player that we can bring here. He's going to be a leader of the defense.

He's going to add to the safety that we got, our linebacker, to the core. You know what I'm saying? So with me, I'm rocking with the Ravens because they're like their windows closing. We got Lamar Jackson. He's not getting any younger. We need to turn this up. Like, we can go get this baller, them first round picks in the future. I don't know.

We don't expect to be picking high in the first round anyway. Let's go get a guaranteed certified baller that can go make something happen for our team. So for the Ravens, I understand why they would do it because they're going all in. We got to perform. We know he's going to be here for a couple of years. We got a legitimate D-N. We haven't been able, we haven't rushed to pass it really well. We need to be able to get after the quarterback.

He can close the games for us. So for me, I think that there. They made a good move. They know they have a couple of more moves to make, but this is a move that teams that feel like they need a couple of pieces make when they feel like this is what we got to do to start winning. So, Joe, yes. What I like about this is this move puts Baltimore at about $10 million in cap space.

So there's going to need to be some restructure. You go for the top, I think it's 10 guys, Lamar Jackson Yes hitting the cap for 74-5 Yep Followed by Smith

Rokhan Smith 327 Yep The DN 31 Crosby now 30.6 Humphrey 26.3

The tackle round standing 24.1 And then Kyle Hamilton They don't know where that's at. It's between

10 and 26 depending on how his bonus accounting is. Mm-hmm. Darren Henry 163 Travis John's 163 and Mark Andrews

147 well they got 65% of a day cap taken by five players Lamar Jackson is 25% alone and they seem to be beefing okay and along with that it's about four or five starters that are real life free agents

so I don't know how much you've helped yourself here because you got a lot going on. But they're no problems, and I'm glad y'all got them. I don't believe it. I don't think they're too big a problems, though, man. They're going to just have to do some restructuring. The man already said something goofy about Lamar not being there in camp when as soon as the OC, soon as he got there. Where are you talking about? You forgot about that? I don't forget about that. He don't forget about that. What are you talking about?

They didn't even talk to the man yet, Joe. Yeah, that's not good. That's not good. Joe. They're going, they're going, they're going to figure it out because Lamar, he has to go there. He has to end up performing. Lamar's going to ball. That's the thing. He's going to come there and he's going to perform regardless.

So if you don't like them, whatever, whatever, they're showing they came to go get Max Crosby. They're trying to get the defense right. You know, if he didn't show up to the OTAs, that's not a good look. That's problems that we definitely hope that they're having. But when money buys, like, he didn't, he ain't been showing up to it. We're talking about that's what he's. do you know what I'm saying he got to be out training

doing what he do now you got the new dude coming here and he's talking about you ain't doing enough you just go come in here and just start throwing accusations around how do you go through that you're talking about the coach the OC that got in there man what are you talking about

it's not accusations he said that he wanted him to be in there he didn't say he wanted him to be in there he said if somebody wants to win they need to do this and do that and it's all the stuff. Lamar, I guess, was accustomed to not going to. So why don't you just say his name?

He don't want to go that far. No, no, no, no. No, no. Yeah, yeah. Okay, man. You know, Max had this. Max, Max, then got on over there before he left, though. He had to say goodbye to Raider Nation.

We got, we got the sound. Listen to this, man. Ever since I've been here, man, I've had one goal and one mission. That's become the best version of myself. and help bring a championship back to the Raider organization. And I feel like I left, you know, everything I had on the table for this team. I've given my heart and soul. And I feel like I let y'all down, man.

Ever since day one, I've wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders. Oh, yes. I think the man is sad to go. I think he then got out of there. I think he said to go. I think he said to go. I think honestly, I mean, no, he said to go because the city, the same way. He wanted to go there and legitimately think he could make a winner in Vegas.

Fans got behind him. He genuinely thought he could do it. When you're that good of a player, you think wherever you go, you can bring a team. But it's more than just you. You can only do your 11th. You got tackles, guards, you got coaches, you got GMs. There's a bigger thing than just you being able to bring a team. championship to a team. And that's what the part where when he's like, you know, when I come in here,

he genuinely probably thought, I'm going to, we're going to grow the team here, the core that we got, all these guys, we're going to make something to happen. No. You know what I'm saying? So it's genuine sadness like, man, I really thought I could bring a championship here. Like I tried my hardest. And then last season, when they're blatantly, you're saying I can play and they're holding you out of games when you're like, they don't want to win. Like, I'm sorry to the Raiders Nation. I wanted to bring a championship here, but it wasn't in the same cahoots of the Raiders Nation of the managers and the people

of the above, the higher ups. They had a different plan. You saying Tom Brady ain't want to win? I mean, right. I think that maybe, yes, looking at it like the same way basketball. If we ain't going to get, we're going to make the playoffs, who might as well tank had a best case scenario to get the highest draft pick.

Like, something I think they might be doing that. If your best player says he can play and it's good to play, he's like, no, no, no. Just go ahead. Rest it out. We're going to call it the season. then that's showing that you don't want to win because your best player on defense would probably help you in the game. He wants to go win. He doesn't want to go lose.
