Starting point is 00:03:48 I'm your host, James Debo Harrison, and I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Please make sure you like, subscribe, and download where you get your show. Yes, sir. Joe, how you doing today? I'm doing great, brother. Debo, I am doing amazing on a little vacation, a little family reunion time with my friends, with my family, with my cousins, with my brothers. It's going good, man.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Out in Virginia Beach, real nostalgic. That's why I used to go with my family back in the day when I was a kid. Every year, we would come to Virginia Beach. So, yeah, deep. That's good. That's good. Because I'm looking, I'm like, it looked like maybe you was, I didn't know if you was locked up or not, you had the back screen.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I don't know what was going on. I didn't, you know, I was just making sure. I'm saying, because it looked a little, you know, it was just plain. Like, I ain't want to give away where I might be, where I could be. Yes, yes. And undisclosed. I'm just making sure, because you gave us, you know, you told me. Somewhere in Virginia Beach, a long, it's a big long beach somewhere out here.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Okay. Okay. I mean, you're good. It ain't like, you know, Mexico again. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's all, yeah. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, Joe. Hey, hey, you kept your ass on, you kept your ass on the turf this time. That's good.
Starting point is 00:05:01 That's good. Hey, bro, and shout out to you. Shout out to your snapback game, your snapback game. Listen, Joe, I don't know what it is, people. I told you, Joe, I've been telling you, Joe, my head game is impeccable. Listen here, Joe, I've been trying to tell you, man, listen, I ain't trying to wear the same hat for a while, Joe. You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:05:22 You know what I'm saying? My hat game is where it is because that's, you know, that's where my money at. I can afford to get, you know, different hats, you know what I'm saying? $20 out of here, $30 here, you know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? $15 here, get it on sale, you know what I'm saying? That's where I'm at with? You know, where do you do my jerseys?
Starting point is 00:05:39 Me and you, we're going to go. We're going to go jersey. But look, at the same thing, I can get cheap jerseys, $20 jerseys. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes I thrift. Sometimes I thrift. Where? Where you go get $20?
Starting point is 00:05:52 Joe, stop. Joe, you can find an old school champion thrift in there. A little Celtics, maybe a little, might be. Hey, chat, do Joe's shop at the thrift? Oh, I thrift sometimes. Thrift sometimes. Hell no, you don't. Joe, you don't even know where a thrift store at.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Is that Laker gear you wearing at the thrift? This was not thrift. This one where it was not thrift. No, I didn't say everything's thrift. I say some things can be thrift. Some can be. So you actually don't own nothing as thrift. I do.
Starting point is 00:06:25 I do. Just not everything. Some things I bought from the regular store. What? Some jerseys. some like buttoned up pieces, a pair of like couple like jeans. What's the name of the store? What's the thrift store?
Starting point is 00:06:37 It's called Drift. It's called Thrift. Where at? Huh? Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Jolie.
Starting point is 00:06:48 But why are you asking so many questions? Do you, are you, I'll bring you to it. I'll bring you there. I bring you to it. Yeah. Yeah, you bring me there, man. Look here, man. Nicks had a little parade.
Starting point is 00:06:58 But the police did not recognize your boy Tyler. Like, we got the video. check this out. Okay. Boom, hold, hold. What are you doing? Did you jump the gate? Coach is coming in.
Starting point is 00:07:17 He's gone. He's fine. He's on the team. He's on the squad. Ah. No. Joe. Did you know who he was?
Starting point is 00:07:24 Because I ain't going to lie to you. See, that's the part. I did not. I did not. And I felt bad because I went and looked. Because I'm not the, I'm not the craziest Knicks. I'm not the craziest fan. The guys that are out there to start a five.
Starting point is 00:07:39 You know what I'm saying? Jordan Clarkson coming off the bench. I know a couple of the players, but you know how it is. He didn't play too much. He didn't play at all in the sense. He played during the regular season. Yeah, with the Spurs. He didn't play it all during Spurs.
Starting point is 00:07:54 He didn't play at all during Spurs. So my thing is, I don't blame the cops too much because you don't recognize him. If you don't recognize, he looks more normally. He's 16. No, Joe. 35. I mean, you want one. Joe.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Joe, this is where he messed up. I'm going to tell you, I'm going to tell you where he makes. Where did he mess up? You got to stay on the float if they don't know, like, it's not bad. You are not a face of that team. You ain't bronzes. You ain't cat. You can't be jumping out there by yourself.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Like, play it back. Play it back. Look at the first, look at the first two cops out here. In blue shorts, they look, they see him. They're like, who was that? I don't know. I ain't about to go grabbing because the fans kind of making like they know and they I know I ain't made daffing him up.
Starting point is 00:08:42 But you see when that white jersey, that white shirt came in, hey, he said, can't no shit go down like this on my watch? Because he at least a lieutenant a better. You know what it was, Debo? I watched the video. I saw. His coach, the one with the white hat that was kind of jogging behind him a little bit and let the feds get in between, you got to stay right behind him.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Like showing him, I'm his escort. You know what I'm saying? Like, he's the player. He's a player. He's a player. Soon as that coach that came and saved him and was tapping him like, no, no, no, he's good, he's good. As soon as you walking around there by yourself,
Starting point is 00:09:13 if nobody, if they're looking like, hold on. They don't look like cats. That don't look like, Brunson, he's jogging around here. Like, it's like a normal, normal dude walking around here. Look like some little kid. He doesn't jump the fence. That on the head is starting to act like he knows something. So, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:09:28 Man, they never, what, 6-1, 6-2, something like that. Man, 6-2. That's like me out there talking about, you know, they're like me out there talking about, hey, man, I'm on the squad. That's what I'm saying. So, you know, they protect them. They don't know. who you are. So I think
Starting point is 00:09:42 if his, the coach that was behind him, the normal beat cop, he's like, oh yeah, let me give him his little time. Soon you give him his little space. He's getting hemmed up by the fed. He's like, I don't want to get messed up. But when they, hey, that white shirt, I'm telling you, man, the white shirts, then boys like lie lie, at least a lieutenant.
Starting point is 00:09:59 No, man, I can't have this looking bad on me, man. I can't do look as bad on me and just can't. But listen, you only got to remember, what is it? Like, 15, 17 faces, bro. Like, come on, bro. I'm going to tell you right now, When we had our parade, Joe, in 2005, we had a Super Bowl parade, right? All right.
Starting point is 00:10:17 And I was, I was, I was only on special teams, right? Okay. So we having our parade. We just won the Super Bowl. You know what I'm saying? It's 2005 Super Bowl. We just won it. We out there.
Starting point is 00:10:29 It's what, cold. It's February. Something like that, bro. I ain't get off the truck. Why I ain't get off the truck? Because ain't nobody know who the hell I was. I wasn't about to be the first one out there running around, jumping. and had somebody going snatched me up
Starting point is 00:10:41 like you ain't on the tee. They ain't know who the hell I was, okay? I stayed on the truck, okay? And you know what I did? After I was on the truck for about half of the raid, then we started getting a little loose with it. We jumped into the crowd, did a little crowd surfing. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:10:56 Hey, dude. By that time, do you move? I'm in the truck. We got, bro, we got TP with us, right? And so we jump into the crowd, you know, they push us back this way. I jump in, you know, they push us back this way, whatever. Troy jump in.
Starting point is 00:11:10 They start passing him. They take him. They take him. They, bro. We got to jump off the truck and go get him, dude. Like, hey, bring you back this way. Oh, yeah. They were all that.
Starting point is 00:11:21 They started passing him all the way out. Like, they're trying to pass him to the back of the streets. Oh, that's it. Yeah. Yeah. But listen, man, Tyler, man, you can't be jumping out there like that. Because everybody don't know. Everybody don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Yeah. Everybody. Everybody don't know. Everybody don't know. And it's... But, hey, the second one, though, the second one? Solo, Dolo, you know, I'm out there. Oh, Debo.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Yeah. Here. Here, you know, I'm all right. I'm sitting the trophy down. You know what I'm saying? I'm brushing out there. You know what I'm saying? You're a big body.
Starting point is 00:11:55 You know what I'm saying. Everybody knows exactly what it is. Debo, Debo. When you start getting the chance, then you can just walk right off of the drink. Everybody looking at the security. The police are trying to dab you up. No question.
Starting point is 00:12:09 question, I was, I didn't go out. I was living my life. I think you was, my brother. Let's go. An Iheart radio experience. You and a pal in Montreal and Oceaga with four nights at Residents in downtown Montreal. Flights from Porter Airlines, two weekend gold tickets, and $1,000

Starting point is 00:12:44 I love the sounds. The buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place soccer, football at home. Why do I watch the World Cup? That's like asking me, why do I breed? I inherited that fandom from my mom. I like watching it with my dad. It's a connecting force.
Starting point is 00:13:07 From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, This is American football, a show about soccer culture in the U.S. and its underdog roots. We go beyond the game to the people and the stories that make it great. A soccer game is a festival. It's not just a game. It's your culture. I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull. It is an American game. The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though. Are they the only ones that don't like that? Nobody likes that.
Starting point is 00:13:38 As we get ready for the Men's World Cup this summer, Listen to American Football as part of the My Coutura Podcast Network, available on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Hoda Kotby, host of the podcast, Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby. Together, we're going to have meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people. Like when actress Olivia Munn shared how she overcame fierce health challenges. I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult.
Starting point is 00:14:12 There's a lot of people who understand postpartner depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, listen up. The Jonas Brothers here. Our podcast is called, Hey Jonas. We've here, since everyone has a podcast, we want it to as well. And we've had some incredible guests so far.
Starting point is 00:14:31 And now our good friend, Niall Horne is joining the show. How's it going, boys? Hey, Niall. It's the same thing with Slow Hands. Slow Hands is not about anything else, really, is it? You know, or taste so good can't be about food. You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Because their new star is Javier Titorito Hernandez. Everyone sees me as a football player, but before anything else, I'm human. Every single day I'm still learning how to live with problems, mistakes, relationships, emotions, ever since I was born. have so many questions. Where do we come from? What happens after death? How do you deal with cancellation? Cristiano or Messi? Do aliens exist? What is love?
Starting point is 00:15:23 Real Madrid or Barza? From everyday and ordinary to the deep and extraordinary. This isn't a normal podcast. Everything here is spontaneous, real and genuine. This podcast is like a deep talk with your closest friends. Where vulnerability comes out. Conspiracy theories end up on the table and goals and lessons are shared. All in this life has an order perfect and everything is just. I'm going to pressuram me I'm going to be able to work. We are here to connect The Chicharito.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I'm Javier El Chicharro-Nandes and together with I-Hard Radio. We're going to make the ordinary, extraordinary. Stay close. It's a crack. Wow. Listen to learning to be human
Starting point is 00:15:58 on I-Hard Radio, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Deservily so. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Let's go on over here to Cleas, Joe.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Come on. According to Jeremy Foller, Shador Sanders has bridged the gap between him and Deshaun Washington. He said Shador has bridged the gap at least somewhat. He said, I still believe Deshaun Watson is in a good position, though. So according to the athletic, Watson lacked consistency during OTAs. Watson's seemed healthy and occasionally threw downfield with confidence, but he lacked
Starting point is 00:16:38 consistency and too often threw in the traffic. I guess. Joe. Joe. With you, you know, hearing this and things, well, I guess you, you had said later on that you believe that Watson would end up starting. Do you still believe that Watson will end up starting or do you think it would be Shador? I still think for some, I still think that Watson may end up starting. I want Shador to start. I think that Shador may end up winning out this job. this only reason why I say Deshaun Watson is because I think the owner wants him to play. Right now, I think it's a legitimate competition. And when you start hearing people saying like, oh, Deshaun Watson had the lead, da-da-da, I'm letting it play out. There's time. There's reps.
Starting point is 00:17:28 You got to be consistently good for a long time through the OTAs. Then we got minicamp. And then we're going to have training camp. Everybody was expecting now Deshaun just to have took the job just because he's making the bread. I'm loving the fact that Shador is coming in. balling, doing what he has to do, not talking. He's just working. And both of them are having a legitimate quarterback competition,
Starting point is 00:17:49 and I think it's going well. I think that some people, when you don't like, some people don't want Shador to succeed. So the ones that don't want Shadour to succeed, when you hear something good about Deshaun Watson, you try to knock down Shadour. When you hear something good about Shador, you try to knock down Deshaun.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I'm just trying to be more level-headed. Good things are going to happen some days. Bad things are going to happen some days. But it's the level of consistency see who's doing it every single day coming in here, being a pro, not wavering, not letting the good day get them too high and not letting the bad days get them too low.
Starting point is 00:18:21 I need you to be here. I just need you to be not too high, not too low. Consistency. And that's going to take time. So I'm like it right now. Shador is I've been thinking like, you have to play the game. You have to get out there and throw with the ones.
Starting point is 00:18:35 You have to get out there and get reps to see who's the better player. So with 11 on 11, things like this, are starting to really ramp up. So you're starting to see, okay, Shador, you're getting better. He's able to show the improvement from rookie season to year two. So that's the only thing. I'm like, time is happening. And coach not being able to just say, oh, yeah, Deshaun Watson is going to be the starting quarterback.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Proves to me that Shador is doing exactly what I need him to do. Staying out of the way, showing improvement, showing that you can be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. It's how Monk is seeing it. Oh, it's a legitimate QB competition. He's not talking about Dylan. he's not talking about green. He's talking about Deshawn Watson and Shador Sanders.
Starting point is 00:19:15 So now I'm good with that, knowing that we got to go in training camp. He has to still prove itself. He still has to play good during training camp. Still has to look good during these preseason games. And I believe that he can do it. Deshawn, you know, you got a lot coming off those injuries. They're saying it's looking healthy. You're throwing sometimes in the coverage.
Starting point is 00:19:31 But we got to see because sometimes they were saying earlier, you were doing so great. And then they saying it wasn't consistent. But how were they, they didn't bring up the bad things back in the day. So it's always, I'd never let it get me too high or too low when they start talking about the quarterbacks because it's people they know. Everybody wants to hear about it. So if you say something good about one dude, everybody's like, oh, no, so what about this guy? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:19:52 So I'm more chilling, loving away coach is saying it's a legitimate competition. Both of these dudes, they have to continue to play well. And we'll see through training camp, who's going to be the starting quarterback. I think Deshaun was going to be the quarterback because of the money. You know what I'm saying? And just they got one more year left with the owner. but in my personal opinion, I would have went with Chidor because what he did last year, now with the new coach, with the new receiving crew, they're saying that my boy Casey Concepcion
Starting point is 00:20:19 and Boston are looking amazing. So that's just weapons for either Deshaun or, you know what I'm saying, a Chador. So whoever is going to be our quarterback, I think our team, our offense, our receivers, are running our line is going to be better. So whoever plays better at this quarterback position, you're going to get your best foot forward. Deshawn, if you start and you go out there with that offense, And y'all aren't looking good. I think it's the weapons that we have.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Now it's time to see what your door can do. If you go out here and ball and play well, it's your job to lose. Whoever's a quarterback that get out there, you have to ball because I think we have the players around them to give you a legitimate chance to be good, to be successful. So show us. I understand what you're saying, but you're saying, you know, it's the owner that may want him to start because of the money. The owner that gave up on him a long time ago and said that was the biggest one. wasting money he ever did. So I don't think he can't ran it back a little bit. I understand
Starting point is 00:21:13 he ran it back, but I think the only reason he ran it back was in the hopes of that he could get something out of maybe trading him away and trying to recoup some of that money. I don't think it had anything to do with the actual belief in him. Now, maybe somewhere along the line
Starting point is 00:21:29 when, you know, they got Monkin in there and he realized, you know, how well, you know, he played in the system that Monkin ran. Then maybe he might have said, okay, yeah, it's a possibility. But I think it was more in the lines of, you know, trying to, trying to save. And when it come down to it, he has not separated himself. The first thing was, oh, he has the upper hand, or he is the person in the lead. And now they're saying Sador is coming back. He is the one that
Starting point is 00:21:56 is showing promise. And now he don't know who the starting's quarterback is going to be because he needs to see what it looks like in live action when the bullets are flying because are, is he going to make the same decisions or are they going to be worse decisions? Like you've seen what Shador does in live action. You've had a chance to see that. You don't know what he's done in the last two years because he hasn't been on the field to show you. You're just seeing what he's doing in pads and, you know, in shorts and hats, you know, basically. So I think that it's, I think that's the whole reason that the GM Barry is looking like, oh, you know what? It's a possibility we want the gambler, the quarterback, you know?
Starting point is 00:22:38 and let him get into the supplemental drive. And you know what? That's crazy as hell, dude. Crazy. Because, like, general feeling is that NFL execs are saying, like, they believe that the NFL is going to approve him into the supplemental drive. Like, that's crazy to me, dude. But anyway, dude, we're talking rounds.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Like, you're talking about two quarterbacks and you're saying money, not money. It's not money. I think it came down to, all right, maybe we could try and get some money. But for him to now being true, all right, he has elevated itself to where he can't even make a decision, where before they're saying that Watson had the lead on it and you have basically not separated yourself, I feel like it's going to be Shador. I feel like they go go ahead and give Shador that chance because if you don't and you put yourself in a position where he comes out there and say he does enough. Shador could do enough
Starting point is 00:23:37 to go ahead and win if everything else if the special teams hold up and the defense holds up so why would you go and put yourself in a position where now you don't know how much advancement Shadora could have did if you had just gave him that versus now having him
Starting point is 00:23:56 and then he's gone. You can't pain. You're not going to pain. So why you put yourself in a position? Get the money from you. You already wasted the money. Yes. Yes. The money is wasted. Debo. This one I'm trying to say.
Starting point is 00:24:07 I'm with you. A thousand percent. I want to start Shador Sanders. I think we should give him the keys. I think that if we started him right now, we're going to at least know. I believe that he should have been a first round pick. I believe he should have been the second overall pick.
Starting point is 00:24:25 After, if you went on Cam Ward, then go Shador Sanders. In my opinion, let him get. There was no competition between him and Dillon Gabriel. It was just because he was a fifth round pick. He's obviously better. He's better, okay? So now once he's starting, he has a real coach that's rocking with him.
Starting point is 00:24:40 He has receivers. I'm saying the same thing you're saying, D'Boe. It's just Deshawn Watson. I don't want to, I want him to keep. Do what you got to do, Deshawn. Keep working. I hope that you succeed because, you know, coming off the injuries. But for me, for the Cleveland Browns, that ship has sailed.
Starting point is 00:24:57 You know what I'm saying? I hope you can get able to get somewhere and he's going to be solid. But Shador Sanders is the quarterback right now for the. Cleveland Browns. We've always been looking for a franchise quarterback. Right now, we have, I believe, a quarterback that can get it done. Let's give him a fair shot in an opportunity where he's been, he's doing everything right right now. He's building. He's listening to the coaches. He's coming in there. He's not saying nothing. And I think from his rookie season, he had things that he needed to improve on. That wasn't one of the best years. But if you know what you got to improve on,
Starting point is 00:25:29 that's your rookie season. Like, the rookie season is the hardest year. And especially if you're at a quarterback, and now you got a coach that's rocking with you. We have capable receivers running back, a competent team. If Chador's not the guy, we'll know after this year, we'll know for sure after this year. We can figure something out because we know that Sean isn't going to be a guy. We're not going to pay him. We already gave him 2.30. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I hope everything works out. We have Shado on the team right now. Let's see what's going on. You've drafted these guys. Let's see if this is the guy. Because if he's not, then you guys can move on. But I believe, give him the man a chance. You've been trying, oh, quarterback.
Starting point is 00:26:04 And then you're talking about a supplemental in trying to get this dude that the gambling problems and all of that. Shador was having some all-field bad interviews. His numbers are way better than this dude. So we already got this dude on our team. And you're trying to give up some future picks for a lot. No, let's see what this guy can do. If it doesn't work, we'll be right where we were before. But at least we'll know we gave out our shot with the quarterback that we have on our roster.
Starting point is 00:26:30 For sure, for sure. Let's jump on down here to the other Ohio team. man and my guy Joe Burrow Joe Burrow said the vibes of this year's Bengals team are similar to what they were on the 2019 LSU team that led
Starting point is 00:26:46 to a college football championship Joe. He said you go back and watch what I said before in 2019 season of LSU. I feel very similar about this team. I'm so excited. Pride is like love. You feel it in your heart.
Starting point is 00:27:02 IR Radio. Canada's number for one streaming app for radio and podcasts, including IHart Pride Canada, your favorite hits, and must have party bangers, plus personalized and curated playlists, like back in the day pride. Come together, celebrate love.

I love the sounds, the buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place soccer, football, it's home.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Why do I watch the World Cup? That's like asking me, why do I breed? I inherited that fandom from my mom. I like watching it with my dad. It's a connecting force. From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, and this is American Football, a show about soccer culture in the U.S. and its underdog roots.
Starting point is 00:28:04 We go beyond the game to the people and the people, and the stories that make it great. A soccer game is a festival. It's not just a game. It's your culture. I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull. It is an American game. The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Are they the only ones that don't like that? Nobody likes that. As we get ready for the Men's World Cup this summer, listen to American Football as part of the My Cultura podcast network, available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Hoda Kotby, host of the podcast, Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby. Together, we're going to have meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people. Like when actress Olivia Munn shared how she overcame fierce health challenges.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartner depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, listen up. The Jonas Brothers here. Our podcast is called Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:29:14 We're here, since everyone has a podcast, we wanted to as well. And we've had some incredible guests so far. And now our good friend, Nile Horn, is joining the show. How's it going, boys? Hey, Niall. It's the same thing with Slow Hands. Slow Hands is not about anything else, really, is it? You know, or taste so good can't be about food.
Starting point is 00:29:28 You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen. into your podcasts. Everyone sees me as a football player, but before anything else, I'm human. Every single day I'm still learning how to live with problems, mistakes, relationships, emotions ever since I was born.
Starting point is 00:30:00 And I still have so many questions. Where do we come from? What happens after death? How do you deal with cancellation? Cristiano or Messi? Do aliens exist? What is love? Real Madrid or Barza?
Starting point is 00:30:10 From everyday and ordinary to the deep and extraordinary. This isn't a normal podcast. Everything here is spontaneous, real and genuine. This podcast is like a deep talk with your closest friends, where vulnerability comes out. Conspiracy theories end up on the table, and goals and lessons are shared. All in this life has an order perfect and everything is just.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Wait me, I'm going to be pressurably, but me will go to be going to be able to be. We are here to connect. The Chicharito. Oh, Javier El Chicharito. And together with Iha Radio, we're going to make the ordinary, extraordinary. Stay close. Listen to learning to be human on IHad Radio, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. To get started and get moving, I wish we were ramping.
Starting point is 00:30:53 I wish we ramp this right into training camp so we can continue to improve. I've tried to be a little more vocal and mean, in a mean way, you said. I think that's a little out of my comfort zone, but that's somewhere. that I'm improving. Maybe it's good and maybe it's bad, but we'll find out. Joe. Yes, sir. Joe.
Starting point is 00:31:18 The vibe? Being compared to 2000 LSU Tigers? Like, I don't. Where do you? I mean, a vibe is vibe. A vibe is a vibe. And a vibe is, it's not real. It's not like, I don't, it's not comparing talent, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:31:38 So I think it's more of a, I mean, me because you look at it, them boys, they went undefeated. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, it was Joe Burrow and it was Chase. That's going to give him a vibe. You and you and you're right, but you're
Starting point is 00:31:53 up and together for a few years now, but you ain't said nothing about that vibe like that. That 19 vibe. You know what I'm saying? You had Justin Jefferson over there. Hell, Patrick Queen, Stingley, Jr., you had Dale, Dale Pitt.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I mean, come on, man. you had a lot of people over there. So, I mean, I understand what he's saying, like, as far as, I don't know, maybe it's because, again, he said that this is the, he said this is the most talented Bengals roster that he's been on. Yes. Understanding because they got some defensive pieces over there with Lawrence. You have Lawrence, you got Cook, Dugger, Boy, and I think it was maybe somebody else.
Starting point is 00:32:39 But understandable, this is probably the best-looking defense they had. And when you come down to it, even in 2016, bro, I mean, sorry, 2022, when they went to the Super Bowl, their defense was only ranked 16. So the best defense he's had, his whole career has been a 16, all the way down to, what was it, last year of 31. So, yes, the defense had to improve. I mean, you're at 31. and it's only one way to go from there. I mean, you could get worse,
Starting point is 00:33:12 but with the pieces, y'all add it, I don't see them getting worse. So when Joe says the vibe, I understand, yeah, you're starting the season. It's a vibe. Everything has a vibe. So I could go with the vibe, you know, it's no live, both flying. The old line, you know, they ain't got to do nothing right now. No, not yet. And I think, with the vibe part, I can see what he's,
Starting point is 00:33:36 Jamar Chase, defense got better. they had a big, the talent on that team was unbelievable. So this is probably the most talent team he's had with Cincinnati. Okay, I'm understanding the vibe part. What I'm looking at and what I'm loving is when I'm being a little more vocal in a mean way. I don't like that as much for us because this means at the same time,
Starting point is 00:33:57 he's like, if people are missing blocks, it's called holding people accountable is what I feel like in a mean way. And not just being like, oh, no, that's okay, you'll get it next time. It's more, there's no more next. there's no more next time. Like how many times we're going to keep telling you this your block?
Starting point is 00:34:10 You know what I'm saying? Or receivers. Get to your spot when you need to be there. I think when I hear about a quarterback being more mean, it's not just like, just not letting stuff slide.
Starting point is 00:34:20 It is not okay to not be a professional. I know exactly what we're supposed to be on jumping off sides. No, that's not okay. Like getting on your alignment, getting on people for not being in the right position.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Not just, I think when he's saying mean, I think that that's what he's talking about. And I think for your team, to be on point, you need that. You need your quarterback to be on point, not, not mean, but be, uh, like, really? It's not, it's not, I don't, I don't, I think what he's saying is, I'm with you. I think what he's saying is like, yeah, it's not mean, but I think it is maybe a little because, like, I think for him, he's so used to being chill.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Yeah, they call him Joe cool, that whole. Holding some, right, right, right. Holding people accountable and making things to me. But like I said, that's not, that's not. Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe Burrow. I hate to have to do this. I really do. What's up?
Starting point is 00:35:23 Joe Burrell, your vibe. You say you like the vibe. Ain't no live bullets flying. That's cool. Five looks like that. You want to jump straight into training camp. Yeah. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:35:37 But I'll tell you what. You tell me what that vibe look like after week two when you go to Houston. Tell me what that vibe looked like then. Tell me what that vibe looked like then after week three when you come and see the Steelers. Tell me what that vibe like after you get that, okay? And I hate to have to go and do this to you, Joe Burrell. But we go have to take away your joy and happiness, okay? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:36:10 So you can lose all hope. And you can see that it's only one thing that you need to do. Okay? We're going to take away all hope so that you can realize that your only possibility of happiness would be over here in black and gold next year. With the future defending seven-time Super Bowl champion, Pittsburgh Steelers, Joe. my mama and daddy used to tell me, man, they said, they said, you can, he said, I could show you. It's how to show you better than I can tell you.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yes. Right? Yes, that's right. They said, you don't believe fat meat greasy. They said, you don't believe she's thing. So I can show you better like to tell you. Now, this is what we go do. And we're going to do this.
Starting point is 00:37:05 We're going to do this for your own good, Joe. for the future of your career. Normally, I would say it's not personal. It's all business. But Joe Burrow, this is going to be personal, but only because we care about you.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Okay. You understand that? Joe, Joe, let me ask you a question. Okay, brother. So why do you discipline your kids? Is it because you love them or because I love them so much? It's because you love this. Joe, you discipline out of love, Joe.
Starting point is 00:37:40 You understand that. And sometimes pain has to be given in that discipline. Yeah, for them to get to understand it. It doesn't lead to a greater or worse consequences later on in life. You understand what I'm saying? Then you understand what it is that we're going to have to do here. And we're going to have to show you what it's like to be over there
Starting point is 00:38:09 and have your joy taking away again. And we're only doing this to create a nice business of a legacy, a legendary legacy to your career. Joe, bro, when you get over here
Starting point is 00:38:27 and get a couple of Lombardis. You understand that? Because I understand the vibe and it's reasonable considering everything. thing. But you go feel a whole lot better when you're sitting over here in that black and gold. But look, Debo, you heard what he said.
Starting point is 00:38:45 He said, maybe it's a good thing. Maybe it's a bad thing. We'll find out. Holding sometimes people accountable when they're not doing a good job, they can be like, man, bump this dude. And they might just get up. So he said, we don't know if it's good or bad. It might let them level up.
Starting point is 00:39:01 But on the other side of leveling up is who the fuck you think you're talking to? Like all of a sudden you was all Joe cool He was chilling it was all good But now you're thinking you're going to be talking to me crazily I don't know I don't know Debo could walk out in our favor Listen, let's go work out in our defense That's the only way
Starting point is 00:39:23 You know what I understand that Let's go listen Those two games After those two games He'll be back into I don't know I don't know The vibe just
Starting point is 00:39:36 The Viz switched up I don't know, I don't know. I don't know. I got to figure it out. I don't know. The vibes are not twisted up. They stop blocking. The vibes, hold up. What did they do to protect you, Joe?
Starting point is 00:39:50 Ain't do nothing to protect you. We're going to see. They pop off early this season, too. Like you say, you're going to know early. Tell me. You got to listen. You got to come over here to the bird. See what we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:40:04 We're not playing this. What we're going to do to you? We're not playing this. We are doing this. They're not playing the shit, Debo. Everybody. Everybody's awful. Everybody's out for.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Everybody's out for. That's to prove. Nobody's talking about us. They're sleeping on the stillers. They're sleeping on us, man. They let them sleep, man. Let them sleep. Let them sleep.
Starting point is 00:40:25 We'll see what they're talking about having with most season. You know what? Man, those, yeah. Mm-hmm. It's that time to put on your jersey and wave your flag, whoever you root for. Why do I watch the World Cup? That's like asking me, why do I breed?
Starting point is 00:40:43 And it's beautiful. The guys are young and cute and fit. It's not just a game. It's your culture. I like watching it with my dad. It's a connecting force. From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, and this is American Football,
