A familiar face as at linebacker spot agreeing to one year deal with Elon and Roberts. We call him E. Rob. Played for the stairs in 2000, 23 and 24 seasons as a pure run stopper.

linebackers communicate and be maybe in better control of the defense now you know his system and I know that these guys are really excited to work with you I think just because uh from a linebacker's standpoint, he was a D-line at heart. You know, so the D-line, you know, he's big into that gritty, you know, obviously he wanted them guys to make plays, but he's like, hey, I own my backers to be touched and whatnot like that. So it's a lot of that to where now it frees up the linebackers and open up our eyes sometimes, too, you know, when you're coming down here, it's really easy because it's like,

I know you got to be talking. Like, let's do this, you know? And because if you're not putting two hands on these, four hands on these guys, it's a problem, you know, so, you know, it's time to. to get busy. But other than that, man, them guys going to give you time, you know, and whatnot like that, the Dasek plays. It's just

huge. And I think that's what the freedom from a linebacker come in as it's not second-distance. With them big old jokers, you're going to know when it's play action. You're going to know when it's boot. People are going to be getting pushed back fast. And also, too, with them just being so big and massive

and him being a D-Line coach, it's easy to identify running past. Because, you know, like I said, man, hands going to be put on those big ones up front. How much of the same at Landon Roberts have we seen this year? Say what? How much of the same in Landon Roberts are you bringing back? From a physicality standpoint?

From the old Landon Roberts that we saw two years ago. Yeah, I try not to change. I don't think I changed much. You know, I think, man, probably the only thing is changed, man. I got a little smarter from a football standpoint. The more years I mean it, I'm able to get around, you know, a lot of good coaches, good defenses

to be able to learn different systems and seeing different things. So that's the only thing. But from a physicality standpoint, I'm going to always be me. Bobby Wagner keeps bringing it back every year. Is that you? Oh, you're talking about...

That kind of, as you get older, and he keeps getting better at soon. I mean, hey, I'm not going to lie. Right now, I'm just being my feet at, but me exiting is not in my thoughts no time soon. So I'll let him leave it there. How did you get number 50 off the way?

Me and Jamie, we're teammates in the Raiders last year, and 57 was available, and me and Jamie had a conversation, and we were able to make it happen. Yeah. Greatful. Good luck to you, man. No. They brought him down there. to drop O' linemen to their knee on the way to run through the running back's face mask. That's what they brought him back for. This ain't got nothing against Queen and P. Doug. Everybody has a skill set, okay?

And when you're good at your skill set, that's what you become known for, okay? And this is his skill set. Okay. And if you're looking for somebody that's going to put, they face in the fan, Joe, and run through. Yes. Hi. Hey.

I, E. I knew a man. When I played there, he reminded me, and this is all he wanted to do. His name was Vince Williams. And Vince Williams was in there. He knew he was like, Joe, I'm not trying to cover anybody. I'm like, I just, all right, bet. You go ahead and go.

I'm just trying to go and hit. And back so if I can get to run somebody through their face, that's what I'm trying to do. single snap. And Vinnie knew if they were running it over there, Vince is going to come in there and try to put anybody to sleep every time. Physicality was never the question. He's like this.

Dude, I played with Ian when I went to New England in 2017, dude, and he was smart as hell back then, extremely high, you know, football IQ back then. And now, hey, man, he's been master that. What are you talking about?

And he likes the physical part of playing in mind. Did you see? That's what, Debo, he likes the... You know, you know, because when you started laughing and smiling, he's talking about the physicality, I'm like, that's... I'm like, look at that. Like, I don't want, I don't have that. I used to be like, because he's not scared of nothing. He really feels like he will owe any person that runs into him.

He's going to knock them back no matter what. It don't care how big you are. It don't care if you got the ball, no matter what. He's like this. Oh, no, we're talking about football. Physicality. I will knock anybody that's coming this way. I think I will impose my will.

One of the first things he asked me, Joe, when I went over to New England, He was like, hey, how do you put so many people to sleep? I said, hey, to put somebody to sleep, you got to be willing to go to sleep. A thousand percent. And let me tell you to, let me tell you to, you know, I said, I'm willing to go to sleep. I said, that's some of the best rest I didn't ever have when I went to sleep. I woke up feeling good. Joe, I woke up feeling good.

I welcome it. You welcome that in Onculepsy. And the fact that I welcome it is probably why more people went. to sleep, there more than went to sleep than I did. A thousand percent. Because I won't. You don't always get it. You didn't believe you was going to go to sleep.

he's still he's never stopped so like it's not like he's coming off the couch retired no Vaugham's played for the commanders last year had nine sacks and six junk and six attackers for loss. So maybe not a, like, 16 games starter. But, man, you're telling me his third and long, Vaughn got skills.

He can go get him some sacks. He can make something happen. So definitely, I don't think it's like, oh, and this is going to bring us over the top. But Vaughn on your team isn't hurting. I'll agree with you. I'm not going to say it's going to get him a playoff win. But if you didn't think the Cowboys going to get a playoff win before Vaughn, then it's like, all right.

maybe not, but, you know, they, I still, you know what I'm saying? They, I just, I ain't seen enough improvements on the defense that I feel like it's going to be enough production to accommodate a win. That's my, that's my only go-to. But on the offensive side, Cid Lamb believes that in 2026, he and George Pickens can be the best ever, Joe. Joe, they're talking about better than what we got here. Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Larry Fitzgerald, Antoine Bowie, Isaac Bruce, Toro, Jerry Rice, and T.O. Ooh.

Jamar Chase and T. Higgins. Joe, do you think like they can top them guys? What is that? One, two, three, four, five, six. Six, seven, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Is that eight Hall of Famers? Ooh. I mean, that's the only reason why.

This is doing it together for a long time. If you're looking like, can they out beat one of their seasons? Can both of them go for 1,500 and 10 touchdowns? a piece, then if that's what we're talking about, maybe so.

Because I think CD and George Pickens are both ones. You know what I'm saying? And do you have Dak Prescott that's going to put up? His numbers are never not extremely high. So I think with the offense, the way that they put up crazy numbers, I think when you go about Randy Moss, Chris Carter, we talk about like longevity, how good. If you talk about for one season, the numbers they could do it.

Both of them could put up 1,10 tuds. And then I want to see how many touchdowns and yards that these duos had together. But like over a career, Isaac Bruce and Tori Halt, when they had Azekeem, that's greatest show on turf, that was just, you knew Kurt Warner and they were doing it for years, like four years in a row. So that's what when you were Chris Carter and Randy Moss, they were random cutting ham and cold pepper. So like, if you're going to do it, you're going to, these dudes, they was doing it for a long time.

It's one season. Maybe we had better stats than them. I could see it happening for sure because there's two number ones on the team. They still haven't been able to pay Pickings because he's about to try to get 40 some a year. You're already given CD 35. So you got two dudes

that are legit ones. And Dak coming up. That coming up and that getting 60 a year. So he's ready to go and do what he got to do. I need 70. Hey, man. Let's what y'all want me to do. Y'all want me to stay here? I need 70. I need 70. I'm Dak Prescott.

Your first contract, what you're doing in college?

So that's how you get to your rookie deal. You sign that because that's only what you're done in college. They don't have nothing to go off of. Your second contract is what you did those first three years. It's like that's, you can pay for that for what I just did that time. So now if you continue to ball, that's when you go get the new one. Because it's like, oh, you got it. You've already, it's always, it's always what have you already done.

So now when you, when you, soon as you start slipping, they're like, oh, that's on the next deal. You're tripping. You're not playing at that high level. Because once you start making $40 million a year, oh, that's your norm, but you better not go down because that's your next contract we're talking about. Yeah. Brother. It's a tricky situation. I'm just looking at it from the outside end with no real detail.

But, you know, just from what I'm seeing, the way things are moving, what's left there, what's not there, what is happening, what hasn't happened, this is really looking positive for a situation where everything ends up working out in the end. and, you know, I don't know, worst case scenario, you know, what do they do? He says, okay, well, I won't play. They keep him and then they end up have to get rid of him next year or they lose him next year, whatever that may be, or they go on, you know, keep him and end up having to trade him just to get a value for him. I mean, it's a tricky situation. We go see how it roll out, but we're going to see how something else roll out too.

I guess Aaron Nano then worked out with the Rams. Rams again, you know, like, what's going on, man? This is the second time this summer. Aaron Donald was listed on the NFL's transaction wire and having to work out with the Rams. The Rams head coach Shaimmy Bay told reporters yesterday. We've had great dialogue. It's going to be on his timeline. It's going to be on Aaron's timeline, you know.

If Aaron does decide he wants to do it, I've been very old. that we want to try to explore that opportunity. Days later, they walked into a scorched earth war they never saw coming. Turn around and place your hands behind your back. The cops gave it to my house and threw me in jail. And to Cindy's surprise, her fiancé, Kenny, was charged with abusing one of her children. I never once doubted Kenny, and I always doubted the accusation.
