People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Little Richard. And we pull apart the story behind the image, discovering forgotten interviews that change exactly
Starting point is 00:02:26 how we see these giants of our culture. We're here for the messy, the brilliant, the human version. of our heroes. I'm Emmanuel Jochi. I'm Kai Wright. And this is Big Lives. Listen to Big Lives on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Miami Dolphins, man, they plan to embrace an underdog mentality in 2026.
Starting point is 00:02:50 The Miami Dolphins are underdogs in all 17 other games this season. The Dolphins projected to win a total for 2026 season is 4.5 games. and early mock drafts already have them earning the number one pick in the 2027th draft. Linebacker Jordan Brooks said, I don't think there's an outlet on social media, anybody that got us picked to win anything. Not that it matters, but that's just what it is. I don't think any of our opponents respect us. So 100% underdog mindset.
Starting point is 00:03:30 and I think it's always the best position to be in. I don't know about that one. I don't think that's the best position. So you're talking about not being, nobody's expecting you. Nobody's expecting you. You know what I'm saying? Like, you can catch him off guard. I understand.
Starting point is 00:03:46 He said he said it's the best position to be in. I don't like that when you say that's the best position. Because I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. I like the position. Being to be the hundred. You like to be the hundred. Yeah, yeah. Like ain't no surprise.
Starting point is 00:03:59 You know what we support. to do what we're supposed to get, you know what I'm saying? And now we just go go out here and still go and do exactly what it is we're supposed to do when y'all not able to stop us. Like that's when I, that's what I'm, but I understand what he's saying because I've been in the, you got to live in reality too. You got to live where you're, you got to live with your feet are. You got to put your feet where you want.
Starting point is 00:04:25 You got to be exactly where your feet are. You got to be where your feet is. So I think at the end of the day, like you said, Debo, you played for an underdog team before, and I was with the Browns and when we were not expected to win some games. So, and- Y'all did. Y'all, y'all stuck true to it most of the time. Shut your mouth.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Debo. Why you got to be disrespectful. By bad, Joe. Hey, man, listen, man, how many games you think they're going to win, brother? The Dolphins? I mean, yeah, right around, right around, right around, right around that four. Mark? Okay, so tell me who they do.
Starting point is 00:05:06 I didn't look at this. I just throw out four. Because you could, look, zero to four, four wins is that's just, you could, Joe, you know how young the boys is over there, man. And they're missing almost $200 million a salary cap, that's what I would tell you, too. They're paying other teams players.
Starting point is 00:05:26 They paying Jalen, they playing Waddle, they playing Tariq, they playing Tua, the bag. So that's why I was talking about my good coach, my man Jeff Hathley, he was already letting you, you know what I'm saying? Like, look, I know what I got right here, but I'm planning on these dudes. We got an eye on the sky, don't lie.
Starting point is 00:05:45 It's the tape. If dudes is playing good, I got to, you know what I'm saying? Let them know. Dude's playing bad, for sure, we're going to acknowledge it. But I need to get, we need effort here. We need, don't, don't just be out here quitting on me now. I'm going to go. Hey man, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I'm going to go two or three. Two, I'm going to go two. I'm a two games. You know what? I'm a good. That's a good. That's my bad phone. But,
Starting point is 00:06:17 but, but, but if they go get these two games, they got to get New York at least once. And then it's, um, it's a hell Mary. They got to get them twice.
Starting point is 00:06:35 I just, yeah, Joe, two games, max. Bro, they play New York twice, New England twice.
Starting point is 00:06:45 No, sorry. Yeah, New England twice. Buffalo twice. Denver, Chicago, Green Bay, Los Angeles. Oh, man. Hey, if they do not get New York. It's not a tough schedule. Either time.
Starting point is 00:06:58 It's an offer. And you know how that is, too, though, Debo. Look, that's the thing about football. It's an offer. Any given Sunday. We can't have somebody going in there trying to sleep on them thinking it's sweet. So that's why you watch, that's why you've got to watch. You just can't sleep on teams.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And that's why I think that he says that because, they're going to get slept on. People ain't going to be coming in there, giving them their best shot. They're not going to be thinking they're playing the Rams. They know they're coming to play the dolphins. So then that's how you can mess around and get over. That's how eastern Michigan or western Michigan mess around and get in.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Western. Why you keep trying to give it to Eastern? Oh, no. Western Michigan. Okay, the West Coast Michigan. Hey, man, let me tell your thing about Western Michigan, dude. So they were in the Mac when we were there or something. or something like that.
Starting point is 00:07:46 We played them. However it go, we played them, right? And we playing these dudes, man. And this is the only time I got like so pissed, man. I was, I just left, bro, I left. I left, bro, I left the game. We were getting pop, bro. I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I think these dudes can put like, bro, yes, they don't put like 28 on us in the first quarter. Get off the sticks. I'm like, bro, I'm like, I'm, you know me. You move? I said, man, because you're scared these motherfuckers and I said, man, these motherfuck score one more time. I'm believing.
Starting point is 00:08:20 I ain't being part of the shit. He ain't put my name with. Bro, I'm so late. Dang, D. Man, they score again, bro. It's like 28, whatever it is. I'm like, yo, I'm gone. Man, I leave, go to the locker room, change my clothes, man.
Starting point is 00:08:32 I'm getting up. Debo, you was playing in the game? Bro, I left. Bro, I'm like, I'm gone, bro. I'm like, I'm gone, bro. I'm not about to be a party. This day ain't put my name on. my daddy blood.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Debo, oh, no, you didn't. You left because y'all was getting hit. That's crazy. I'm like, dude, I had never been so mad at my life. Were you in, though, you had your equipment on and you went to the locker room. Bro, I was, I was, they scored. I got to the sideline, brother,
Starting point is 00:09:04 and I said, I'm not staying out here. But you're sorry. Dibbo, I shut your mouth. I'm not being a part of this. No, no, no. I was, I was misunderstood. understanding you. What year were you? What year were you? That was, what year was that? My, it's my, I only played three years. So it might have been my second year. You walked out
Starting point is 00:09:30 on the team. Bro. Bro, we, bro, when I say we was getting pop, bro, we was getting pop. We got cats acting scared. Okay. We got cats pulling hamstrings and coming back and next play. Oh, you got people faking stuff. Oh my God. Okay, okay, okay. They was leaving you out to dry. So you're like, y'all really don't want it. I'm not about to be out here by myself.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Boom. Okay. That makes sense. I was like, I ain't put my name on that one. Wow, that's crazy. I don't even know how to do that one. That's crazy, Debo. Mike McDonnell.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Oh, sorry, Mike McDonnell. Ontario Arnold. He's in the building. learning. So to Seattle, Seahawks, new cornerback, Terry on Arnold, remains on the commissioner's exempt list due to eight felony charges arises from an alleged armory and kidnapping. Arnold can't practice or play with the team, but Mike McDonnell says he's in the building and learning. He's in the building. He said he's in the building and being part of our program in learning the heck out of the defense,
Starting point is 00:10:44 keep training and stay ready for when there's an opportunity. So his next court date is October 5th. My trial has not been scheduled. Barring the plea deal, it is unlikely. Arnold's case will end before the conclusion of the 2026 season. Joe.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Yeah. And what... At what point do you think they should be like, all right, we're done with this? If they, it's, for me, if I was a team and like you said, with the Seahawks or who's on the, what team is he on? He's on the Seahawks. So if you're a team like the Seahawks, it's about the roster spot. It's about how much you need. It's about how much you value his position.
Starting point is 00:11:37 He on the commission. Oh, so I mean, he's on your team. Take up a roster spot. Oh, so you're good to go. Yeah. So if I was the Seahawks. It's just, if you're not worried about, like, the drama of people asking questions about it, if you have a good team where it's really, look, he's on the squad, have a coach that's confident in his own skin
Starting point is 00:11:53 that can be able to handle these questions professionally and make it a non-factor until he's able to get back onto the field. Because if he's not on the field and you have a dude on your squad, if you're able to, the coach is like, it's the non-factor. The questions that are answered, we ask about it and then it's not talked about until he's finally able to get back onto the field. when the court stuff finally goes through. So I think with the Seahawks, if it's not a roster spot, and you think his talent,
Starting point is 00:12:19 it's a first round talent, and you think he might be able, you may know more than us. So you'd be able to, might be able to get out of this stuff, might be able to get back onto the field. That's on the team and being able to manage and control
Starting point is 00:12:30 what they got going on. For me, for the Browns, we couldn't handle this on our team. We don't have, we have too much going on. It's just media stuff. If you have a team like the Seahawks or a team like the Patriots,
Starting point is 00:12:42 I feel like you can be able to bring more of a distraction to your team. It can end up be handled as, boom, it is keeping the main thing, the main thing. I think some teams are able to handle these things a whole lot better than others. So I think for Seattle, if this becomes a distraction, this easily, all right, boom, this has been too much for us. But I think for like teams, like, I know. I'm not, I'm not even worried about this distraction. I just, I don't know. I think, I personally think, I don't know how long they go.
Starting point is 00:13:10 I don't even know why they're doing it. be honest with you because you're talking about October 5th and it may not even be cleared up till then and say it ends up getting cleared up and he's ready to go December. Are you going to actually activate him and put him in? So I think this is really a move that they're hoping he gets cleared and they have him
Starting point is 00:13:27 from next year. That's what I think. Yeah, I think like you say that's just me. It depends. It's the talent. It's the player. He's with a first round pick out of Alabama and coaches and players and organizations. This is his second chance.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It's depend on he could have not got a second chance. Do you know what I'm saying? So I'm like the Seattle Seahawks are basically right now giving him his second chance, having him on the side. They have him working out. He's in the building. They're saying he's learning the playbook. So when he is available, they're like,
Starting point is 00:13:56 this is a first round pick that we got for the low. Hopefully we don't think that he's going to be able, we think he's going to be able to get through his off-the-field issues that he can be able to get on to the field. So with Seattle, this is just them giving him his shot, trying to keep it, keeping him on the team, keeping it on the roster. Because if he wasn't good, he's out the league.
Starting point is 00:14:13 You know how that goes. Like, this is his second chance to now. Okay, they found out you back in there. Now it's, boy, you're in the joint low. You were first round. You were trying to go get to bad because you were playing well. But now you were about to be gone. Nobody was going to think about town anymore.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Like, you know how that goes, do you? Yeah. Oh, yeah. For sure. No, we're going to go get somebody else that's chilling off of like these young college dudes that's coming in working for the low. So I think for him, they see the talent, they see what's going on. They know how their organization can be able to handle it,
Starting point is 00:14:42 expecting him to be able to get back out. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of

I sit down with culture-shifting women who share their pivots like Paraly-Truitt. I was like, I'm a month out from a shark attack. There's no way in 11 months I'm making the Paralympics. Advocate Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference, so I'm going to keep going. Celebrity chef, Carla Hall. Was that scary to walk away from
Starting point is 00:16:34 such a stable career after just two years? No. I was more afraid. of being unhappy that I was broke and in a dead end job that I didn't enjoy. And feminist legend Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. We need a meeting place of our own. And if I can contribute to that, I'd like to maintain that and leave this house for that purpose. Listen to She Pivotts on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Michael Imperioly.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I want to tell you about my new podcast, Underground Zeevits. It's about what happened in the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. We're looking at the opportunity of a lifetime for us and the other families. While the world was mourning, five powerful New York families saw an opportunity. The debris is supposed to go to the city-owned salvage yard, and some of it will. They would go on to make millions of dollars. What's in the tunnels? Gold bars of ingots.
Starting point is 00:17:36 It could be worth half a billion. And they would have made more if it hadn't. been for one courageous cop. No, Dad, don't. You're going to need all of us. I'll call you when I can. Frank, be careful. Underground Zero, starring Steve Sheripa, Ray Abruzzo, and me, Michael Imperioly.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Would you be willing to see your family go to pieces? Some ways it already has. Listen to Underground Zero on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. By age 11 or so, at least 70% have a phone. Middle School is a different world than the one we grew up. up in. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is therapy for black girls. We spent real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally
Starting point is 00:18:26 physiological and neurological and neurological and psychological chaos happening all this same job. We got into group chats and gaming, friendships and bullying, and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. And belonging, you can think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then there's fitting in. Spitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers. Sitting down with therapist Keer Gaines on Black fatherhood and what it means to raise a daughter
Starting point is 00:18:59 through this stage. You don't have more shorts so you can't do flips. You have on the dress. You have to cross your legs. That's the range of this run. From screen time to identity to the fathers doing the work at home. We have to get off our device. But the reality is there's a lot of lives out there that we don't want you as your adults in their lives to miss out on.
Starting point is 00:19:17 This has been our surviving middle school run. Brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to Therapy for Black Girls on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. But I think it's just the team. You have to have a organization that doesn't really need you right now. is able to, well media trained, and is able to just handle, handle the situation. So the first NFL game to ever go down in Australia will be Thursday.
Starting point is 00:19:51 And the Rams haven't made a decision on rather Aaron Donald will play in the season opener versus the 49ers. But 49ers, head coach Kyle Shanahan is preparing regardless. We got some video. Sure, there's an emotion of relief. out like that retired? Coming back. The opposite. I remember when I retired.
Starting point is 00:20:16 I didn't see the alerts and stuff. I heard people yelling down the hallway and cheering. I was like, what the hell's going on? And then I got it on my phone. It was probably the most we've celebrated in the off-season ever. And then it was the exact opposite this year. So, I mean, I know people have been...
Starting point is 00:20:32 I wasn't like crushed on the Sunday that he decided because I decided a month ago it was happening so I prepared for that the right. way and it's what it is. He's a hell of a player and a lot of a work cut out for him. For sure, for sure. Joe, you think that AD will play week one? I do. I do. I think that all of the stuff for him coming back in the training during the offseason, he wouldn't be doing that. Like, that's the, with Joey Porter Jr. He's going to be getting prepped up. He hasn't been out on the practice field practicing, but he knows what time it is. He's
Starting point is 00:21:07 prepping up and he's going to still be able to play in that first game. I think AD, during that whole time with training up, getting ready, I think it was prepping for, you know, training camp and to be for the season opener. I don't think he would come back if he wouldn't be ready for game one to play. So I think with him, his mind's ready, and I think that he would have been preparing to come back just as strictly for game one, for show. Okay, how many reps you go give him this? You're going to let me take the whole game?
Starting point is 00:21:34 No, I'm probably like, what do I say, like 30? probably 30 probably 30. Probably 30 reps. Yeah. Yeah, I'm with you on this, man. Here's my thing. If he fly over there,
Starting point is 00:21:49 you know, nobody flying that far just to sit there and watch them game, man. I ain't flying all the way off straight. You might as well leave me here. All the way off-struck. And you're telling me, I ain't go play. I can go during the all season and go see the coyotes.
Starting point is 00:22:04 No, what is that? 16, 17. I don't know how long. Stop playing. Man, we ain't doing that. Leave me at the crib. But I'm going to go have to watch him, though. I'm going to have to make sure, you know, I measure the snaps.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I'm with you on that. I'm thinking somewhere in that 20 to 30 range depending on how he looking, you know what I'm saying? Because you ain't getting that. You ain't got that real football fight somebody up off. You're conditioning for too long, you know what I'm saying? You need a good two weeks of acclamation, you know what I'm saying? And they don't even practice like they used to.
Starting point is 00:22:38 So, you know, who knows how many, you know, snaps you actually get in there nowadays. So, but if he go over there all straight, the man getting at least 20 to 30 snap, Joe. I see that all day. Rams got another issue, though. The Rams do not expect wide receiver, Puka, Nukua, and left tackle Jackson to be successful. spend it for the season opener against the 49ers despite ongoing legal issues. Ooh, according, again, Adam Schaffner reported, neither player would be placed on the commissioner's exempt list in 2025 in 2025. In 2005, NFL regular season, Puka, okay, Pooker got him 129 receptions.
Starting point is 00:23:33 He got whatever it was. Anyway, here's my thing. Do you think if he's not suspended week one that they'll later suspend him in the season? You ever seen that go down? I think I remember, I think for my suspension, I was able to play one game and then it came after the second game. So I think that, yeah, I've seen it before. But normally, I think it happens before the season. But I have seen it happen before during the season.
Starting point is 00:24:12 a suspect you. Yeah. I don't think they should get too confident and comfortable with that right there. Especially with it not being resolved.
Starting point is 00:24:27 That's what I'm saying. You want to come down to you. You know what I'm saying? It's whatever in the interest of protecting the sheet. You know? You got the power. Judge.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Jury. Execution. Execution. man. Like everything that they do and make sure they keep power and position.
Starting point is 00:24:50 You know why? Because our NFLPA rep, they, they worried about keeping their power and position. Everybody worried
Starting point is 00:24:56 about their power and position and not what it is. That, well, Roger is doing what he's supposed to do. Hey, man,
Starting point is 00:25:01 man, look, that's what I, that's what I do for the moment. That's when I look back. He's making the moment. He's doing,
Starting point is 00:25:09 that's, he is doing his job. Well, I can't, can't be mad no more, you know what I understand. I'm doing, I'm saying. He represents. When we talk about it, he represents the 32 owners.
Starting point is 00:25:21 He don't represent us. So when you're looking at it from that person. He never did. I know, I know. But when we said, but just saying to the average Fandiebo, me and you know this, because we played in there. We've seen the commissioners. We know exactly how it worked.
Starting point is 00:25:35 But when you're from the outside looking in, the NFL, Roger Goodell, they think, oh, he is over top of the NFL. He runs the NFL. Like, he's y' y'all's boss, too. I'm like, I mean, kind of. Yes, he is. He is. He is, he is.
Starting point is 00:25:47 100% our boss. He's more of our boss than anybody else. He's the whole boss. He's the boss. He's the big boss. He's the boss's boss. 100. Boss or boss?
Starting point is 00:25:57 Yes. Your boss can say, hey, man, I ain't going to do nothing to. You say, yeah, he ain't going to do nothing. I'm suspending you. Roger is going to sit you down. Period. Br, sit you down so fast. Like, especially if it's golden B,
Starting point is 00:26:12 any integrity issues or or it's going to shine poorly on the NFL? They're going to go after you. Hell, they do stuff to the owners when they do stuff. And that's who hired them. They find craft and they, they suspend, you know, they do all that good stuff. Hey, your boy over there that was trying to get some of that toxic,
Starting point is 00:26:38 you know? I don't know what do he'll do to him. Did he get any, did he do anything too yet? I don't think so. But hey, but I'm going to tell you this, though, Debo. My boy, Puka, it's early. He still haven't got his contract yet. A lot of this off-season stuff, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:26:56 Off-the-field issues coming up. Just needs to keep right now early in his career, the main thing, the main thing. And just trying to just try to stay out the way. Well, I ain't, I ain't heard enough. I actually forgot about it. You know that? See, like Jackson Smith and Jigba stays out the way. Bag.
Starting point is 00:27:17 He trying to find a reason not to pay you. Like, I just, yeah, I don't know how. I forgot about that. I don't know. He had a couple things, though. That was a crazy thing. A couple of them, brother. So, you know how that is just early, young.
Starting point is 00:27:36 You're just trying to know now boy. It's not too long. You know, I can go quick. No, you know, get that. that, you get that, you get that liquid, uh, courage in you. You get that, yeah, or, or, or, or, that, uh, that liquid, uh, toxicity in you, however you want to do it, you know what I'm saying, or whatever it does to you, like, I don't, I don't, I don't like drinking too much. I like wine, I know, Joe, I ain't go lie to, I'm, I'm a big wine. I feel he. I ain't go lie. I'm a lot.
Starting point is 00:28:05 I don't, I, and then whenever I could, you know, I'm saying, whenever I could, you know, you a big red wine, slide up on the bottle, you know what I'm saying, you know, still one somewhere, because, you know, what I like, I can't afford, you know what I'm saying? So I got a grip and slip, you know, however I got to- Money Man, Debo, you just be out there in line. You spend your money on what you want to spend your money on, because you got it. Joe, I ain't got it, Joe. I'm out here, I'm out here, I'm out here, I'm out here, I'm out here, I'm out here looking like this.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Hey, I can only do a podcast. I got one room. I told you I got a one-room studio. Shut your mouth. Hey, tough hat again. Tough had a game. Hey. Tough had a game.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Tough had a game. I really like that one. I think I might want that because that dream looks shiny. Is it shining? Joe. Yes. Joe. Joe.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Joe. Joe. Joe, I'm about to kill, murder, maim. Mame. Mame your eyes with these hats. I'm about to be going on. The third, no, the fourth. When the 14 hit, Joe.
Starting point is 00:29:16 When the 14. Hey, Joe, is it going to be Monday after the game? I still ain't wore the same hat. That's what I'm saying. It's 160 hats now. Joe, I'm going to be writing. Joe, what the June said? I was writing.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Joe, my hats going to be so fresh, man. What are they talking about? Red shirt and me? Ain't no red shirt. me. Weird shirt. Debo, question, what's going to be the score of the game? Which one?
Starting point is 00:29:50 The one that's going to be on Wednesday. Brud. We got a game on Wednesday already. Hey, hey, football back, brother. On Wednesday. Listen, Joe, we got a football game. Just start the season on it. On a Wednesday, it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:08 That's diabolical. I told you, they're about to go to 18. Listen, that's what they're trying to get right now. That's why they want to do their contract. But listen, a Wednesday popped off by Thursday? You got, we got Patriots, Seahawks, Wednesday. That's good ball. That's just great football.
Starting point is 00:30:31 They're in Seattle, though, right? Man, I think they, I don't know where they at. I think they in Seattle. I want to say they in Seattle. Okay, I think so. I'm going to go, I don't know, you know, I don't know what they got going on over there in New England. I ain't really heard too much of anything, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:30:51 Like, I don't know if, you know, but I'm going to go. I don't know if Christian go, he's going to play. He got a choice. He got no choice. He got no choice. So I'm going to go and I'm going to say, let's go B Seattle. I'm going to give it to him, say 30 to 17. Wow.
Starting point is 00:31:20 They go jump. Yeah, they go jump on. 37. You say C-Hawks. They'll go jump on them. Fresh out of the gate. Listen, you just won the Super Bowl. It's your first home game.
Starting point is 00:31:37 It's the season opener at your crib. The very first game of the season, point blank period, anybody, ain't nobody got nothing else to watch. You better go out there and defend home. And if I'm Seattle, I'm talking crazy, goofy. You know, people over there might have had some stuff going on. That's all. I'm using whatever advantage I can use.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Hey, brother. 2417, Patriots. Hmm? Yep. Oh, you think they're going to have a slump? No, it's not, yeah. I mean, no, no, it's not even a slump. It's just I think that the Patriots got a little better,
Starting point is 00:32:20 and then they lost their running back, they lost Kenneth Walker. That's not going to help them. That's going to hurt them. So we're going to see. And then I think the Patriots got, AJ. I forgot.
Starting point is 00:32:34 I take that back. I forgot he went to KC., right? Uh-huh, yeah. And the Patriots when they got AJ Brown, they got a little receiver, and they still, oh, they're running back. I don't know if Henderson's going to be playing, but I like that.
Starting point is 00:32:48 I think I still like the Patriots. The new Red Bull Dragonberry and Tropic Berry Energizers, now at McDonald's, made with freeze-dried fruit, and an electric burst of flavor. The all-new Red Bull Energizers, Now at McDonald's. This product may not be right for you.
Starting point is 00:33:05 High in caffeine, details of McDonald's.ca. At participating Canadian restaurants excluding Quebec. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinheiro, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the... word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people
Starting point is 00:33:40 and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. That call was really pivotal for me. Hey, it's Emily Tish Sussman, and this season On She Pivots, the podcast where women share bold career moves and personal turning points that changed everything.
Starting point is 00:34:21 I sit down with culture-shifting women who share their pivots like Paraly-Truitt. I was like, I'm a month out from a shark attack. There's no way in 11 months I'm making the Paralympics. Advocate Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference, so I'm going to keep going. Celebrity chef Carla Hall. Was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after just two years? No.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I was more afraid of being unhappy than I was broke in a dead end job that I didn't enjoy. And feminist legend, Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. We need a meeting place of our own. And if I can contribute to that, I'd love. like to maintain that and leave this house for that purpose. Listen to She Pivotts on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Michael and Perioli. I want to tell you about my new podcast, Underground Zero. It's about what happened in the aftermath of the 9-11
Starting point is 00:35:20 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. We're looking at the opportunity of a lifetime for us and the other families. While the world was mourning, five powerful New York families saw an opportunity. The debris supposed to go to the city-owned salvage yard, and some of it will. They would go on to make millions of dollars. What's in the tunnels? Gold bars of Engitz. It could be worth half a billion. And they would have made more if it hadn't been for one courageous cop. No, Dad, don't. You're going to need all of us. I'll call you when I can. Frank, be careful. Underground Zero, starring Steve Sharipa, Ray Abruzzo, and me, Michael Imperioly. Would you be willing to see your family go to pieces?
Starting point is 00:36:00 some ways it already has. Listen to Underground Zero on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Self Care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be in everything shower. It can be putting your phone on, do not disturb.
Starting point is 00:36:20 But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries, finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Gemma Spag, the host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast, and each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis, which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself. Get to know yourself as well.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Yeah, brother, they lost a start and tell. He's with Kansas City. 20 or 17, I'm still going to go with Seattle. They got to determine. Okay, I like it. I'm going 2417 Patriots, my brother. They still got that corner over there, man.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Yeah, they do? Oh, for sure. The spoon? Okay, what are you talking about it? I think that's going to be the nullifier for AJ. I think that's going to keep him under control. I mean, it's going to definitely, yes. It's going to definitely help.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And then we got Gonzalez. It's going to be out there with J.S.N. Mm-hmm. Because Gonzalez is for sure a number one. But he's a little upset. He's going to have. He might, he might, he could have a back, get you Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:38:09 No, no. If you don't get his contract, he already know what time it is. He's going to be a little upset because he would have been like, man, I definitely bawled out enough to get my deal. But listen, you got two years left.
Starting point is 00:38:21 There's, you don't really have leg to stand on. You got to go out there still ball and show. Go get you another first team all pro. Go get you some more picks out there. Go lock these boys up. And after this season, when you're going into your fifth year, they already picked it up because you know you are
Starting point is 00:38:37 dog and now it was like this. All right, guys. Come on, man. What are we really doing here? And they go... You ain't about to stop J.S.N. No, no. You maintain.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Maintain. You barely will maintain. And listen, we understand that too. We're not saying he's going to do it by itself. We're not putting you over there on the island. No. Safety? Look over here.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Help. Help. We're not just putting you over there by yourself. No, that would be crazy because he gets paid too. Jackson Smith and Jigba. He's making $40 million a year. So that's 40. You make it 40.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Oh, long. My man, spoon, 33. Good bread. But he gets paid too. And the quarterback, Sam Donald, throwing it to you, making, that's why he don't get paid as much. The quarterback throwing it to you making the smooth 35, and they call him underpaid, and you the wide receiver making 40.
Starting point is 00:39:25 That's $75 million coming at me. Oh, y'all going to have to give me, y'all ain't getting me something else. That's all I'm saying. And I'm only 35. I'm going to need at least 55. When Coach T hit me with the, when I was practicing and I was going verse A. and Ben, and I was right there, ball, right over top of my head, Bing, and then I'm like, damn, Coach T was like,
Starting point is 00:39:44 don't worry about Joe, they get paid too. I'm like, that's the realest thing. Somebody's never, nobody, nobody had never said that to me. But everybody said they get paid too. No, no, when I was playing for the Browns, when I was playing for the Browns, that shit don't matter that thing. Oh, because y'all couldn't say that. You get paid the big bucks.
Starting point is 00:39:59 You could pay the big bucks. And, but I understand. Yeah, but y'all was just getting popped. Y'all wasn't even winning. I got to keep your confidence up, because we go win. I just can't let you fall all the way down. And, like, we got, hey, man, they make plays too, man.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Because I know you in your head. Like, he just got that off my head. Like, hey, they make plays too. They get paid. Oh, yeah, you're right. No, I don't feel good. I don't feel good. I don't feel good.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I feel better. I do feel better. Yeah, you're motivated you real good to feel better. Change your feelings, Joe. All right. What I tell you. Look here, man. Let's jump into this.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Super duper. We only got a couple of them. We only got two soups. That's good, man. That's good. It's better than none. You ain't lying. What is that?
Starting point is 00:40:52 Danny Ball of Stillers in 2027 book market. Who is that? $2. We got hellsack it. I'm going to look him up. I'm thinking it's a player that we might. It's a player that we might get. If he high, if he go be a person,
Starting point is 00:41:09 high in the draft. We ain't go out of a shot. I'm hoping. I ain't go a lot. I'm a little nervous now. That preseason offense line. I'm shook. It's pretty, yeah, I ain't going to lie. That didn't look. It didn't look the best. But it's still preseason. El Saki, who is that? Who is, who is ball? I don't know who that is. It's coach. I don't know who that is here. I'm a Google, bro. Anyway, we're going to go to the next one right now.
Starting point is 00:41:55 We got at Nation 4-1-2 $10. Said, I need the fellas, DeBoer and Joe, to check out my Stiller song, Big Rig, Big Tile. I mean, Big Rig, Big Red, sorry. Florida. Big Reds, Terrible T-O. T-13. You're talking about. That little preview for the people, please.
Starting point is 00:42:23 It's on all platforms. We ain't going to play nothing, but we just told them about it. Debo, I know exactly what he's talking about. That's the running back for the Gators, number 13. You don't even know he is, Joe? That's crazy. You're supposed to, oh, my goodness. This is what I'm talking about, y'all with Joe.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I'm not false flagging. I'm not false flagging. I'm not false flagging. It'd be a lot. going on. False flag. There's a lot going on, man. You watch the game, but you ain't see him go out there and do what he did?
Starting point is 00:43:00 I would ask my man, it's two. It's number one, Vernon, Brown, the second, the third, and my running back. Number 13 and number one. Our best two players on offense. I'm over, like, it's so many, Debo, it's so many teams. You can't look at the name on the back of a jersey and see that, Joe. But you know it's number. No, his number.
Starting point is 00:43:20 13. Toad. Keeps his backflap out. The name is right there. He's Totin. He's Toten. He's Toten to Rock. 14.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Y'all don't beat up on the children and the poor and you ain't paid no attention to. Debo. He's going. You know, why? Because you expected them to win like that because y'all was playing. We beat they 66 to 21, Debo. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:42 And y'all let them score 21 points. I'm so ashamed. We started letting everybody get in, walk-ons. You know what I'm saying? People that was in the stand. we let everybody get a snap. People let everybody get a snap. People in the stands, sir.
Starting point is 00:43:55 If you want a raffle, we let them come out there and play backer in the last minute of the game. So that's obviously why they went down and scored on me. You talk about me line. So look, we won 66 to 21. My man 14 carries 160 yards and three toes. I think we got beat bad. I think we got beat worse than that, Joe.
Starting point is 00:44:14 You got beat more than that. Yep. I think we did. What was our score at Kent State? Let me go. Let me know who Kent's stable and played. I can set them up next season for the home opener to bring them out the good old games bill,
Starting point is 00:44:27 give y'all a good meal five to get this good belt. Oh, let me go. I'm going to go ahead and get that set up. I'm going to have to go down there after I set that up because I'm going to be an ambassador or, you know, I got to get to Florida. Yeah, no, for sure. I'll be there.
Starting point is 00:44:43 If we bring Ken out there, you know what I'm saying? I ain't go lie. We kind of will fight. Wait for Flood. Oh, my God. Yeah. That's our singing the fight song on, y'all. Bro, we got the break.
Starting point is 00:44:58 We got the brakes beat off our ass, man. 57 and nothing by it. South Carolina game, God. Oh, Lord, Jim is Christmas. Hold on. Are you sure, are you sure that y'all, are you sure that you're looking at it right now? 57 and nothing. We ain't get no points.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Did we get some, y'all? Oh, no. Is, y'all still giving out, yeah. Are y'all giving out scholarships? Or did y'all let just anybody, did anybody just play? I think that's all we give is scholarships. That's the problem. You only only giving scholarships.
Starting point is 00:45:28 You're only giving no bread. That's why now, huh? Bro, it's Kent State. Did you see the way room? Huh? Well, they just changed it. It's better now. But, like, bro, I ain't going to even lie to you.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Oh. I ain't lying to you. You know why I was, though? Because, yeah, that's exactly. brought you all over to the SEC, brought you over there in South Carolina, gave y'all that mill five, walk up in South Carolina. That's why. It's the SEC bump.
Starting point is 00:46:02 It's all good, D. Oh, yeah, because, you know, this is my Gator National Championship ring, you know what I'm saying? You know how we do. And then the BCS joint, you know what I'm saying? Just the Gator rings. You know how we do over in Florida. Hey, Joe, you know how many people got one of those?
Starting point is 00:46:20 Oh, man. National championships? I mean, no. I mean, not, not. I mean, how many you got on the team? I mean, that? Over a hundred something? 100 something on team this year.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Don't ain't. They wasn't starting. I don't care who else was on there. I was out there. Hey, hey, Joe, Joe. I wouldn't got these. Yeah. Joe, I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:46:43 None of that. We got another super chat, Joseph. Dimitri is holding 8872. $5. Say what up, Debo and Joe. Are y'all attending the Steelers game in Paris? Love the show. Go Steelers.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Joe, are we attending the Steelers game in Paris? I ain't going to lie to you. I do not believe I am attending the game in Paris. I know I know I'm not attending. Let me stop. I lie to you not. I do not think I will be out there, Debo. It's not a think.
Starting point is 00:47:15 It's not a think. It's not a think to it, Joe. I know I will not be out there unless something transpired. that makes me have to go that I just can't. Otherwise, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to go ahead catch that from the crib. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to catch stuff from the crib.
Starting point is 00:47:37 You know what I'm saying? Comfort in my own home. Hey, the best seat in the house ain't even in the house. It's out. You pay them in front of the way. The views, the food, the access, you can go to the bathroom and get right back.
Starting point is 00:47:53 get right back. I can even pause it. And guess what? And fast forward through the commercials. Fast forward to you. Oh my goodness. I love it.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Sometimes I'll wait for a good 10 minutes for the game even start just so I can get me a little fast forward. Just so when the commercials come, I ain't got to sit. I'm like, dang. Like, let me just get a little
Starting point is 00:48:14 10 minute head start so I can fast forward through these commercials. But then you've got to stay off your phone because people are going to be giving you too much noise, news, I'll be late. I'm like, oh, man, who's good?
Starting point is 00:48:26 Now, I know a touchdown's coming. I know a pick's coming. Got to catch back up. Got to catch back up. Yeah, uh-uh, uh-uh. If I'm, if I give it some delay, I got to keep my phone away. I keep your, if you, if you delay,
Starting point is 00:48:41 Joe say you got to keep your phone away. That's a bar right there. For real. That's a bar. Yep. If you delay, keep your phone away. Yeah. Look here, man.
Starting point is 00:48:51 We got Wednesday, Ball, Patriots, Seattle, Thursday ball from Australia, Thursday night. We have, oh, y'all better watch that. I'm thinking I know, yes, hey, you. It's on Netflix. You know the halftime show will be five. Netflix, it's Netflix. You got a Netflix to see. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Oh, that's, and look. Ad time show about to be fire. I don't even know. Y'all better say, look, season coming up, guys, make sure you be. get your apps right. They're making sure you got to spend at least $5,500. TV, though. YouTube TV is legit. When you can get the four different screens for the TVs,
Starting point is 00:49:39 is the YouTube TV legit. That's why I'm rocking with. Okay. Okay. I'm rocking with something else. I can't tell you what is. I'm 100%. You got that.
