The chiefs run rough shot over my bronco.
those 31 to 10.
This was embarrassing.
They couldn't tackle.
They couldn't do anything right.
Man, they look, you know what?
I'm trying to debate.
Who looked worse?
Cleveland of the Broncos.
It's a toss-up right now.
I really can't tell.
I ain't been to hold,
I ain't in a whole nobody and pretend
like I didn't see what I saw.
I ain't talk about what has happened.
I don't know what's going to happen next week.
It's one game.
And this one game, they look bad.
Joe, you're looking at the Broncos.
You watch this game.
don't seem like my homes had that injury nine months to the day in which you suffered that injury.
Hey, that's what I was thinking about.
I'm like, you come nine months.
Hey, he's going to be hurt tomorrow, though.
Okay, Ocho, you can believe that.
He's going to be hurt tomorrow, but I thought they, I thought they controlled a ground game.
Y'all talk about the running back and got no value nowadays.
That man was Super Bowl MVP last year.
How Seattle let him get up out of that?
I have no clue.
They didn't want to pay that kind of money because, you know, I got to pay JSCN.
I want to reward also Big Cat Williams.
And I'm going to have to have some room left because if Sam Darnal plays like we think he's going to play, guess what?
We had to do spoon.
Remember, they made spoon the highest paid corner.
So, you know, you only have so much money to go around.
And so you try to spread it and try to spend it where you think it's most needed.
And like you said, the running back is valuable, but they felt they can get that kind of production from someone else with less value.
We'll see if it works out for them, but it's paying off for Kansas City early.
And, Ocho, I think with the run game that Kansas City has,
it's going to make Mahomes job a lot easier.
Ooh, we.
Hey, they look good.
They controlled the game.
I thought their defense was great,
considering the fact that I thought the Broncos would put up a much better fight
than what they put up tonight.
You thought that, Joe?
Come on, Ocho.
I ain't thinking my home's going to be out here running around like that,
making plays with his legs like that.
Joe, I told you, Joe.
Listen, there he go now.
Stay with me now.
My homes, they injured my homes, you know,
a wound of my homes is still better than
95% of the NFL quarterbacks
outside of the top elite ones.
You feel me?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You understand?
Then you got Kenneth Walker Jr., right?
Taking some of the pressure off my home,
but my home doesn't have to do everything.
He doesn't have to play Superman
because the running game is going well.
Yeah.
But we want to pick and choose when we do want to, you know, throw the ball.
We're working it.
But hey, hey, hey, the night, Joe, remember how ungotten me now?
Tonight, we're smoking on that, we've spoken on that Broncos pack.
You know, we've been legal in Colorado.
You know what?
When I watch this game, I mean, I was most disappointed in the defense.
The offense is what it is.
Both look terrible.
Nobody, Waddle.
Waddle didn't look well.
Carlis-Sutton, I give Lenore,
the one of the guy that picked that pass off, Ocho.
I'm trying to figure out why did he jump underneath like that
in single-house coverage.
I can see if it was two-man.
He jumped underneath.
And it wasn't two-man.
Hey, reading it, a guy going inside,
especially with a spit that tight,
it's only one way he's going, huh?
You're right.
I'm a hugged.
And listen, to be a rookie, to do that,
that's something that I call that a veteran move, huh?
Yes, yes.
Better move.
And not only jump inside, Ocho,
because the ball got up on him quick, he picked it.
A lot of guys, that ball had the same opportunity
and the ball hit the dirt.
Yeah.
You got to make guys punny for making a mistake.
I don't understand.
Ocho,
when are guys going to stop the ball below your waist
and you're trying to keep you turning your hands down?
Why they keep doing that?
You got to turn your hands under.
Yeah.
Listen, we just saw.
Hey, O waddle?
Yeah, we just saw that were,
was it, Romeo Dubs.
Dubs, yeah.
Dubs, you know, same, same thing.
Anything below your waist, you got to flip your hands the opposite way.
Yes.
Oppos of your waist and above your waist.
I line, boom, you like this.
Anything below that, man, bring that thing.
Yeah, you got to turn them under.
You, bro, you're a professional.
You're a Robert's even in the NFL,
and somebody got to tell you that?
That's his fault.
Yeah.
I'm like, bro, I'm like,
and then, Ocho, he had an option route.
Why would, you, the man played you,
you got all that room inside.
Why would you go outside?
He's gonna use the sideline to shield you.
Yeah.
Come on, guys.
This is, this was some Bush League action tonight.
The Broncos played terrible.
The defense couldn't tackle.
Look, Kenneth Walker is a phenomenal running back.
Yeah.
But tonight he looked like a combination
between Barry Sanders and Derek Henry.
Oh my God.
God, I'm talking about every time me touched the ball,
it was explosive play after explosive play.
I mean, listen, I expect, you know,
Denver had a top defense last year.
I didn't expect to see this tonight, bro.
I ain't expect to see this.
I'm going to be out, especially that run defense,
you letting that man, that man had 173 rushing yards.
Oh, he could have had more.
They took him out, their gentleman to say,
no, we need you to save some of this.
This was embarrassed on every,
all a bunch, I think I speak for all of Bronco country.
This was embarrassing.
Bo Knicks look,
Bo Nick,
I didn't even know who this was.
This might have been Bo Nick's worst game.
He couldn't hold on to the ball.
He couldn't find receipt.
I mean, he's getting pressure.
I don't know.
He'd foaming the ball on the sideline.
You'd think he'd have better ball security in the pocket.
Nah, you know, let me hold it like a loaf of bread.
I fumbled it one time.
I got it back because the guys touched the ball out of bounds,
so they got to bring it back to where he touched the ball at.
But I ain't learned my lesson.
Let me do it again.
This was awful.
Hey, if your team didn't win tonight,
I don't want to hear you say foot or ball.
I didn't say it.
Foot or ball.
Hey, you took them Bronco, man.
I told you what was going to happen to you.
Boy, it looked like a fish fry.
Hey, hey, hold on, hold up.
Travis Kelsey turned back the clock for a little minute, didn't he?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Probably about two years ago, Joe,
oh, Joe, he took that way to the high.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He ain't got that pick him and put him down no more.
He can still get over.
Yeah, yeah.
I know, hey, I know they had to feel good
because, you know, I think that,
what they moved into, like second to all time?
Number two.
Number two, yeah.
He players, Jason Whitten.
I don't think he's going to be able to stick around long enough to Coach Gonzo.
Ooh.
Man, Gonzo was so consistent.
Even later in his career,
he was still putting up seven, 800 yards receiving the season,
even though they didn't throw the ball more,
but they didn't throw it as much as they throw it now.
You talk about his later years,
like when he played in Atlanta.
Yeah, when he was in Atlanta.
when you were in Atlanta.
Yeah, yeah, he was still putting up,
he was still putting up big numbers.
Yeah, that boy was getting down.
He was getting to it, but yeah, I seen grunk,
I mean, not grunk, Kelsey, I said,
damn, Kelsey out there moving the day and man.
Huh?
Boy, it felt so good to get that ball in the end zone
because it's nothing better than having a long touchdown run
later in your career.
You're in year 13, year 14, year 15,
and you're a title, any receiver,
anyway, I mean, you're playing that long,
and you have a long, you have a 50 yard
or 60 yard touchdown,
like, oh, the old boy still got it.
He still has to do a little something,
he still a little, do something, little, something.
You know what?
It's such a huge boost of confidence, Uncle Joe.
You know, to be able to have a long touchdown like that,
you know, later on in your career
where your volume of catches is nowhere near like it was
once you was young.
Correct.
One of the thing that hurt, Uncle Joe,
is for you to have a long play like that,
you know, and expect them to use you the same way they used to,
and the ball just doesn't come to you like it used to.
Man, it don't find you.
You don't find you how you used to find you do an Ocho.
Not at all.
I was thinking about, I was thinking about O'Dill too,
and Joe.
Yeah.
I think about O'Dale and how excited and how happy it was
to not only make the team, but watching them warm up.
See, seeing that joy in his face, you know?
And then think about how the offense, you know,
it went on without him and they didn't use him
the way we thought they were.
You know, if neighbors weren't going, I was for sure,
Okay, when neighbor's not going, then Odell would be, you know, the main target.
Okay, Malik does play where at least Odell would be the number two or the three.
And I'm looking at some of the situations, you know, I mean.
He wasn't even on the field.
They used you exactly how I thought I was.
I told you, Ocho, and you get older, you don't get those opportunities.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm not saying that was wrong with the tall receiver.
I'm assuming he must be young.
The last name was Fields.
Yeah.
I'm like, I don't understand.
I don't understand.
but, you know, hey, this business is crazy.
I had work, Uncle Joe.
It's crazy.
You know, once you start bouncing around,
they look at you as a journey and receiver,
and they treat you as such.
You don't get the targets that you once did.
And it's not like maybe he can't do it.
He's just not going to get the opportunity to show if he can or if he can't.
Right.
So because he's not getting the opportunity to show that he can't or he can't,
people automatically assume that he can't.
I don't know what he can do.
I just know he's not going to get the opportunity to show it.
And that's got to be challenging, okay, Ocho,
because considering the fact that, you know,
the last, the last time Odell was with the Giants, bro,
he was a dominant receiver.
You know what I mean?
He knew he was, he knew he had a few targets
coming his way every night.
And I think to be in this situation now,
to where even though all those feelings come back up
and you don't get an opportunity to really even,
you know, to really even be a number one
or even to even have an opportunity
to even make big plays, you feel what I'm saying?
Yeah.
know, that's a hard pill to swallow, bro.
I ain't going to lie to you.
So I'm sure he would have loved to play Sunday night against the Cowboys.
But if he'd be patient, bro, his opportunities will come.
He'll get an opportunity.
He'll get a chance.
Yeah.
And you look at the guys of the defense, they've blessed a lot of secondary,
legurious need.
Yeah.
Sometimes it just looked a guy that just plays better,
our team knows how to use him.
He's in the right way.
He's a blitzing corner.
He's really good in the slot.
He's a great tackler.
And I don't know what happened.
I know he was injured a lot in Tennessee, Ocho,
and I don't know what caused those injuries.
But he never, I'm sure the people in Tennessee
or even the Tennessee front office, like, hold on.
Who is that guy?
Yeah.
That was the guy that we signed in free agency
that we thought we had something that we traded for.
I don't know who the guy.
That's the guy we thought we was getting.
Right.
You have to also understand, too, Uncle Joe.
he got seeler snee was up there playing playing bump and run all that all them times you know
when he was playing under um what's the defense the coordinator name uh and kansas oh you're talking about
uh for kansas city yeah yeah yeah yeah uh oh man my godlie it's sense my mind too i can't think of
we're gonna go ahead make you point o't okay anyway it's most of the time snee was allowed to be
aggressive uncle joe you know when he was with his kansas city cheese the first time he's allowed to be
aggressive at the line because he always had help behind him.
Remember, they ran that two shell, huh?
Yeah, almost like a man-in-man, a 55 look, you know?
Spagnola.
Oh, spags, yeah, spout trick.
I forget that.
Spags.
And so, Lagerie Sneed looked a certain way,
especially when it came to playing top receivers
and being able to stop him because he was allowed to be aggressive initially,
you know, at the line of scrimmage,
because you got that safety behind you.
Now you go to Tennessee.
Okay, look, we got a single high.
Hey, we're playing single high,
and you got them in man to man.
And now you're getting exposed because now you're running the defense.
You use them a little different way than what you expected.
What's the general consensus?
What made you fall in love with it?
It's like the same thing.
You can't get mad at the lady.
You fall in love with a lady and she wear that skimpy stuff.
She wearing lace.
She wearing them, she wearing, hey, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
She ran rim shorts.
What you mean, sharp rim shorts?
It rimmed her ass out.
Yeah.
Okay, you fall in love with that.
Yeah.
Then all of a sudden, you get her.
She don't want to do that.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No, no.
I know what I like.
Do that.
They got legurious need,
and what they got, what they liked about him,
they didn't play that same type of defense.
Oh.
The same thing with Larry Brown.
Larry Brown, they ran quarters coverage in Dallas.
And they had a vaunt.
That defense.
was vaunted.
He goes to the Raiders.
If you go play for the Raiders
and you can't play man coverage,
you might as well just go ahead
and just pack your bag up
and head on up out of town.
They are a man coverage team.
So when you fall in love with somebody,
if you get somebody in free agency,
what did you like about it?
Well, you better run the same type of offense
or give him the same opportunities
on the offensive side
that he got where he was
that made you fall in love with him.
Defensively, you can't get a,
a coverage corner and then ask him to play man to man.
No, bro.
You get in a zone corner.
You got a zone corner.
You got to play him in zone.
If you want a man coverage,
you got to go get somebody that can play coverage.
Oh, man, he plays a lot of single-hop safety, Ocho.
He plays a lot of press.
You go get his own corner and then try to make him play press
and then wonder why he getting his eyes beat out.
And then, you know, you know, too,
Anga Joe, he's really good.
He's really good at it.
in that scheme when he was playing with Spags,
and I think he can do it.
I think he's capable of doing it,
but just doing it at a high rate and a high volume
of just being out there singled up by yourself,
then having to deal with some of the injuries
that were nagging him when he was in Tennessee,
that also might affect him.
Yes.
Him being back home, he's comfortable.
You know, Spagg knows how to use him.
He's familiar with the system, you know, schematically.
So I think they're going to be good.
They're going to be good.
Despite the pieces that have left,
I think that defense is going to be back to maybe top five in NFL.
I think the thing that's going to help them this year defensively
is their ability to run the football.
Now, I'm not saying they're going to rush for 220 yards of game,
but to have the ability to convert some of those 30 shorts by running the...

Football and not always having to come up with gadgets, Ocho.
We got to come up with a shovel pass.
We got to misdirection you one way and just try to hit you in the flat the other way.
Now we can turn around and hand the ball off to K-9,
and he can pick up a first down on a third and short or a fourth in short,
whereas before we had to get creative to try to create plays.
Patrick Mahomes has never had a one-third.
thousand-yard rusher.
He was on the team when
Hunt was the running back, but he wasn't the starter.
So since he's been the starter, he's never had
a thousand-yard rusher. He's going to have one now.
And I agree with you guys. Now, their ability
to run the football and to play action off of that.
It's hard to play action on show when you can't run the football.
Like, why are we stepping up? You can't run the ball.
Yeah. Yeah.
But Kansas City was impressed.
I was very disappointed in my Broncos.
Everything that you guys are saying in the chat is deserved
because they were awful.
They were they were Bronco country.
I'm disappointed.
Hey, Joe, you let you let Nung's not, you let Nungs slide.
Your day coming too, Ocho.
I don't know what you talking laughing about.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, who day coming?
Hey.
Yo day.
No, it ain't coming no time soon.
I can tell you that.
Now listen, when it comes to me, Anger Joe,
you know, disrespect.
You can't make fun of the Dolphins
because we understand the Dolphins is a rebuilding
stage. The team get a losing, like Joe's Cowboys and Uncle Joe's those are supposed to be two
teams that are supposed to be buying for a spot not only in the playoffs, but making a Super Bowl
run based off of... I thought you said it was one game, Bocho. It did that one week, man, you made
you act like we out of it after one week. Damn. Hey, Joe, calm down, Turbo.
No, no, no. I didn't say, I know it's only one week, but the way you was talking,
like y'all were going to Super Bowl 200. Look, hey, hey, you, you, you, you, you, you, you,
Hey, you better watch what you say too now
because them Bengals mess around and go on the street
and you come on here crying.
He knows that cable of doing that.
Yeah.
Wait, excuse me.
And then you come on here crying.
One thing about the Bengals, right?
Most of the time, Unk, what's our problem at the beginning of the season?
We start off what?
In the hole.
Y'all started up last year when your first game last year.
And then what happened?
I tell you, I tell you one thing.
And I'm standing on business.
You hear me, Uncle Joe?
I'm going.
I leave.
up right now right right so i work today i work tomorrow and i'm going straight from here i'm going
straight to houston i'm going to get them boys prepared i'm going to get the city of hugheson prepared
for that cincinnati invasion and what's going to happen to him we we we're joe we fin that way
so this this upcoming weekend when y'all play houston y'all are going to win that
yeah are we going to win it joe we matter of fact not only are we going to win it we're going to win it
we're going to win it decisively joe you hear me i don't know houston
You know how you study for a test and you can't wait to go back to school because you know you study for the test?
Yeah.
Take it.
Yeah.
That's how confident I am and the bang on being in the Texas.
And that's no disrespect to the Texas fans.
And disrespect.
Anytime somebody say no disrespect, disrespectful is coming out of their mouth.
Now, I didn't say anything disrespectful.
You have me.
You did.
You hear me?
Stay with me.
You told me your team going to beat them.
That's disrespectful.
No, it ain't.
It just me giving my honest opinion on what's going to happen.
That's a fact.
Hey, I don't know about that one with your Houston coming out.
off their L, bro.
They need one.
Yeah, they need one.
I don't know.
Have you not seen the Cincinnati
Bangal defense?
Oh, man.
Did you not see them last week?
Y'all look good at home, Ocho.
This is a road test for y'all.
This is a good test for y'all on the road.
Hey, do you do realize there's no such things in the way game for us?
Wherever we go, we make it off.
Oh, man.
Come on, Ocho.
Come on.
What are you talking about?
He want to be a team.
He want to be a team that the day should get behind so bad.
He didn't know he'll region of team.
Hey, I'm just telling you, you know, I'm, I don't want to make it seem like they know today.
Or the Alabama, Ohio State of Texas team to travel.
You know what? I don't want to be braggadocious.
That's a big, that's a new word for me, Joe.
Yeah, yeah, you be a bad braggadocious.
Right, braggadocious.
But I'm going to sit back.
I'm going to let things play out because I'm not on the field.
No, you not.
I can't control the outcome, but I know what's going to happen.
Now you can't control that.
You really, no.
Don't start to talk about, I don't mean, I, I know, I know.
And I mean that is no disrespect.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But you know what I'm saying?
I can't control the outcome.
I can tell the way you just talking a minute ago.
Hello.
Now he's on back pedal.
Now he's backped on.
Now he's on his bicycle.
Now he needs some help.
No.
Hey, listen, we've been on here long enough.
We've been on here long enough together as one to understand.
98% of the time when I say something's going to happen,
you do realize I've been right.
98% of the time, right?
Man, you got a chill, bro.
You don't made a, you've made it.
You made a few one right.
Damn.
I'm just telling you, Joe.
But y'all don't want to listen, huh?
Y'all want to keep on to fish your little nephew.
I'm no, I'm like your little nephew and you don't really respect my opinion.
Huh?
I'll tell you.
Man, what did you talk about with a home boy coming off there, Andrew?
How did he look?
For nine months to the day, ACL, LCL, that's major, major surgery.
A lot of times guys take a full year and they still don't look like what he looked like tonight.
What did you think about how Mahomes played and how did he look?
Honestly, Uncle Joe, I think my homes look good.
He might not have been 100%,
but even my homes, not at 100%,
it's better than most in the NFL
that's playing the quarterback position.
Just to be honest with you,
there's some throws I know he would like back.
He looks a little different,
especially in his wide stance in his base
when he's throwing the ball.
I see maybe two balls get battered down
as opposed to him not being anticipating
and throwing to the lane
knowing the hands are going to be coming up.
outside they look good.
Think about, look at him running the ball.
Yeah.
I was nervous when he took off with the ball.
I was too.
He did it multiple times.
I think the thing,
and I think that caught the Broncos off guard
because I don't think they anticipated him running
as much as he did as early as he did.
And if you notice him later in his career,
as he's gotten older, he's run more.
Yeah.
He's running more now than he ever did early in his career.
He'll take up running.
They'll have design runs for it.
So give him, give him.
give him credit for taking his rehab extremely serious,
getting himself prepared to go,
because I think the opening day was always his goal date.
It wasn't a question of whether or not he's going to come back.
He didn't want to miss any time.
He wanted to be there for the start of the season
and watch this thing go all the way through.
And here he is.
And he looked good tonight, especially running the football.
His legs are not quite where they need to be.
as far as him throwing the football, he little,
but the thing is, he throws the ball off of different platforms.
He throws the ball off balance.
So he's going to have some balls that dive on him.
He's going to have some ball.
That one he overshot, I don't know what he saw.
I don't know if Thornton was supposed to pull up,
the one he, the one he overshot and threw the pick on.
Yeah, yeah.
Remember, you threw what, you talked about the worthy.
That was worthy, worthy.
Yeah, the word.
I meant to say worthy, worthy, number one.
Yeah, worthy, worthy went to the post,
and he thought he was fin to run that dig.
Right.
And the safety was, hey, the safety was dead to right,
because if he did throw the post, oh, that's six.
Yeah.
They're sitting there flat foot with Worthy going for a speeder.
Screaming, screaming by him.
Yeah.
And he's flat foot and chilling.
Yeah.
But if you think about it, if you think about it, guys,
this is something we haven't seen for the chiefs in a while.
They ain't take no shots over the top.
What have you ever known, Andy Reed and team?
When you got Worthy, I got it ran 421,
and you got Thornton that ran 426,
you got two guys that could burn out.
And they don't take,
they didn't take not one shot.
Hey, think about it though.
Maybe they ain't take,
they ain't take no shots.
Hell, they ain't have to.
The run game was so explosive.
Think about it.
You know, I ain't going to lie.
To start the game,
I thought they were going to boot Mahomes out early,
but, man, it was a heavy dose
of the run game early.
And then once they opened up,
you know, Mahomes got into a nice little rhythm.
He ain't, he ain't the quickest
all the fans, but he is real deceptive.
And to where he's trying to get,
he got them little swift moves in the pocket.
Hey, man, he looked good at that.
The only thing I worry about, you know,
adrenaline can get you going through this first game.
Because, you know, this is anticipation.
He's been anticipating on this.
But as the, excuse me, as the season goes,
and we talk about we get to about week five or six,
I wonder how is that body going to be holding up
and how he's going to be feeling.
Yeah.
Stats, Mahomes tonight with 15 to 27,
184 yards, two touchdowns.
One, two touchdowns.
Passing.
He rushed for a touchdown.
So he accounted for three of the touchdowns.
Travis Kelsey now has the second most receiving yards by tight end.
Passing Jason Whitten.
He has 13,073.
Witten, he passed Witton, who had 13,046,
but Gonzo sits atop the mountain with 15,1.27.
So he needs about 2,000 yards to catch.
to catch a gonzo.
14,000.
I don't know.
I mean,
if he plays a couple more years,
probably need at least three to catch him.
I don't know if he has that kind of time.
You probably look here to start a family here in the very near future.
I give him a year.
I say within a year,
they'll start a family.
You know what?
And the funny thing about it too,
on,
Knowing Andy Reed, knowing what Travis Kelsey has meant, not just to the Chiefs,
but what he's meant to the NFL in general, the NFL in general will give him the opportunity
to reach and break that record.
They will allow them to do that.
Now, for certain people, they reserve the right for that to happen.
And they'll make sure it happens.
I don't know if he wants to stick around that length of time, though, Ocho.
Take, take, what you say?
I don't know if he wants to stick around for that length of time.
Yeah, you're right.
Because now, you know, now he's got a wife.
You're single, you stick around for stuff like that there.
Or you got a wife that you, he got a new wife.
Yeah.
Yes.
And, you know, he's like, well, damn.
They're going to put about 10, 15 pounds on a man and man.
Keep it real, keep it real.
You know, he's going to gain about 10, 15 once he get married.
You know how I go.
No, he took some weight off him.
He took some weight off because he know that, you know,
traveling around and being going all over the place.
Look, he says, I need to be stationed.
I need to focus a little bit more.
Hey, hey, I got to get back.
I got to get back to be a trap.
Yeah.
And he looked pretty good last, look.
He's not going to be what he was five years ago.
Nobody expect him to.
You should know, even the Chiefs fans.
And I know you love it.
But you can't expect him to be what he was five years ago.
Hey, hey, but, but you know, the older you get,
Uncle Ocho, the more discipline you got to have on what it is you eat, how you eat,
when you eat, you know, to stay at that elite level,
travis, you know, if he want to, if you want to really break God's own record, yeah, for the next
two to three years, boy, he's going to have to be on a strict, strict die. You know how to go?
And you know what to Uncle Joe, now think about it. You talk about him getting married,
talk about him being a new wife, also want to start a family. You have the thing about Taylor Swift
in the type of structure and structured environment she's been around. Yes, yeah.
And it takes for her to be at the top of her game and probably having a better understanding
on what is really in reach for Travis Kelsey
and maybe also supporting him
and wanting him, listen, baby,
you want to play another two.
We can wait another two years
to start that family, huh?
Because I know how much this means to you,
and I don't want to come in on the back end of your career
and tell you what you don't need to do
and what you need to be doing.
No.
You need to finish this off
because we got the rest of our lives together.
Hey, hey, hey, hold on.
The NFL is only so short.
You ain't gonna get that again.
Now he got to go on and put one in her, Ocho, gone, gone.
Damn, Joe.
Yeah, yeah, shit.
Hey, he got to go get him a little way and way out of that.
You hear me?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because at some point in time, she probably taking,
she's probably gonna take this year off from touring.
Yeah.
Probably take this year off, she's probably writing songs down,
probably not gonna record anything.
Yeah.
Hey, it's good a time as any.
I don't know how the length of deal that he signed,
but we'll see how that turns.
We'll see how that goes.
According to Adam Shepter,
the Broncos attempted to call 47-year-old Drew Brees out of retirement
after Bowdo Nick's injury following their overtime.

Playoff win, birth of the bill,
January 17th of 2016.
Breeze had interest,
worked out but backed out due to risk discomfort.
Whatever.
The question is for me,
would I have preferred Drew Breeze
over Jared Stiddlem
in the AMC championship game?
Absolutely.
Yep.
Absolutely.
I don't prefer Drew Carey
over Jerry Stiddleman in the AMC championship game.
Hey, you got to think about it too, Uncle Joe.
You have a defense like that, right?
You have a defense like what you guys had.
and you're bringing a Drew Breeze that hadn't played
and you had a Philip Rivers comeback.
They kicked the ties on him
and he looked good his first two games.
What you think Drew Reeves going to look like
coming in there with the Broncos?
For one game, well, it'd been for two games.
But see, that's the Ocho.
What did he say?
He had risked discomfort.
You see what happens when all of a sudden
you start throwing the ball
for an extended period of time,
day after day?
Hey, y'all might go out there sling that thing
looked good for one day.
Boy, that next day I wake up, boy, my shoulder on fire.
Hey, everything.
My elbow on fire.
Everything.
Especially if you hadn't been throwing or if you hadn't been really working out.
You just been on the couch.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's certain opportunities.
Some guys probably, he probably wasn't necessarily really thinking he was going to ever get a chance again to play.
But for him to take that workout on it, it lets me know that he was really thinking about it.
And like you said, man, you age.
Boy, if you ain't been doing something.
ain't no way you can go out there
and think you're going to play no football now.
And because the thing is,
is that repetition is that you throw in the ball.
I mean, we see, we see quarterbacks that's young
and they get, you know, get throwing shoulder.
Where they throw them so much,
their shoulder is sore, their elbow is sore.
Now just think about you dropping back and pushing off,
dropping back, pushing off, all that torque emotion.
Man, what they should have said,
he should have said, yeah, I'll do it.
Right.
And then came out there and played out there
and played that one game.
Because he could have got through that game
before he realized like, damn, I'm sore.
But the game, damn, they're over.
But to go ahead and have to go through there for a week.
Yeah.
He'd have been a while before the game got there.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Exactly.
You see what he said?
He worked out.
It was interested, but backed out because of discomfort.
See?
He just went ahead and played the game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, he knew his body better than anybody else.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, okay, you definitely want to get out there and do no stinker at that time.
Boy, they were going to talk about you to, you know what I mean?
And then all I did was set my, set my Hall of Fame thing, because I'm already going.
I know I'm going on the first ballot.
All that's going to do is push it back five years.
Right. Right.
No, and I don't know if that's the, that's the, of having the value.
of having a solid backup to having a Drew lock
or to having a Carson Wentz where I only need to win
one or two games.
Just imagine if they'd have a guy like a Carson Wentz
for one game.
Yeah, we've been nice.
Hey, we think of if they had Carson wins tonight.
Shh.
Shh.
That's your quarterback, that's your quarterback, man.
That's him, that's my quarterback.
Yeah, that's my quarterback.
And you got to support him, man, through the good and the bad, man.
Well, it was damn show bad tonight.
Yeah, yeah.
That thing was bad.
A, Bronco country, I know, man, look here, I can just imagine what they're talking about in
Bronco country.
But it's the tackling.
I'm like, bro, come on, I get it.
I get it.
You don't really, they don't really tackle like they used to, Ocho.
nobody plays in the preseason.
And maybe that's why we saw the highest,
I think it's going to get worse.
Guess what?
Next year this time,
we're going to be talking about the same thing.
Team scoring 59, 30, 40 plus points.
Oh, yeah.
Because why?
Because ain't nobody practicing tackling.
Ain't nobody practicing.
Ain't nobody playing the preseason
and they don't tackle because the guys that's tackling
their backups.
That's who you play.
You play in your backups.
You don't play your starters.
Yeah.
And then you get out there and ask,
to say, okay, look here, I know, hey,
I know you've been out of living in the garage,
but now I need you to get out there and go 100 miles
and I want 16.
Hey.
You know what's next, bro.
So you're going to blow something.
You're going to blow a head gasket.
You're going to blow a tire.
Some got to give.
Yeah.
Something got to give.
But, hey, the good thing is the Broncos.
Another good thing, they got Sean Payton.
A Sean Payton coach team is not going to look like this consistently.
Right.
Not back to back weeks.
No.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Who y'all play next on?
Don't start me the line, don't you?
If they play like this, they get beat.
Yeah, yeah, depending on who you're playing,
boy, it can get worse.
Oh.
Oh.
Are they in Jacksonville or they in Denver?
They came to Denver last year and beat their breaks off of us.
Isn't it really?
Yeah, yeah.
Now, so you're telling them, I need to put Trevor Lawrence in.
I need to start him this week.
Hey, Joe.
No, don't start it, Joe.
No, don't start it.
Hey, Joe.
What's up?
Hey, you gotta play, uh, you playing, uh, this week?
Oh, I got you this week.
I don't know.
Oh, that's, Ocho, I got you week three, I know.
You got me week three?
Yeah.
Yeah, you definitely gonna lose that.
What's all I know is I'm starting,
Deng Henry week three for show.
Damn.
That's what I know, Ocho.
Hell, if Scat Pack got 81, I know Dary hearing
get 50, 60 yard more than that.
Come on, you got a chance.
Don't, don't, don't be.
disrespect for the night. He might get 200, boy.
Nah. And Lamar? Boy, Lord, have worse. I show.
Huh? Oh, it's me and you? Oh, this week right here.
Yes. Hey. Oh, yeah. I'm gonna tell you right. I got you, Ocho.
Hey, hold on. I'm gonna give you a little secret, right? Yeah. Hey, they're gonna give Uno about
13 targets. They get 14. Stingling last and go lock that down.
Oh. I'm talking about time. I respect.
I respect Lassiter.
I always get them boy, the highest of praises, huh?
Like I'm Kirk Franklin.
But one thing about it,
a uno that had two cats for 12 yards is going to feast.
I don't care if we're Jesus and the 12 disciples out there.
Somebody's going to get that word.
Huh?
Hey, they pissed off.
They let Josh Allen,
they let Josh Allen go down the field and get a game winning job for a game
winning drive from about 100 yards out.
They, ooh, they pissed to the highest level of pistivity.
Yeah.
Hey.
I can't wait.
Ocho,
they're going to force feed that boy.
This weekend a man.
Oh, absolutely.
Hey,
Joe,
you should have seen his body language,
Joe.
Yeah.
I would see it through the TV.
Well,
I look like this.
But you know,
you got that,
you got that C on your chest,
Joe?
Yeah.
Hey.
You got to keep your mouth closed,
boy.
Hey,
hey,
they'll mean nothing.
Yeah,
you could tell about body language
in any sport.
You know what I'm saying?
When somebody playing,
they didn't get the ball.
They can.
Hey,
hold on.
Think about it.
What happened?
What happened?
When Memphis,
When John Moran came back in Memphis
was playing, he was just running to the corner.
He was just sitting over to, he wasn't even trying.
Man, the Broncos got a tough-ass schedule.
Who y'all got?
Got Jacksonville.
Then we got the Rams at home.
Oh.
At Sam Fran.
At the Chargers.
At Seattle.
I mean, Seattle at home.
Y'all started out of six.
We got Carolina.
Oh, we got the guppies.
We ain't going on six.
We got the guffies.
Hey, don't be surprised.
Now, you know, the Dolphin gonna have a few games
that everybody gonna mark them to lose.
Yeah.
That's a lot of people that win.
And y'all will.
That's the way football works for some reason.
Oh, they got Seattle on Thursday night.
Who?
After they play the Chargers.
Oh, yeah, boy.
Why they give you all these prime time games?
Y'all just be losing.
Whatever.
Oh, got the Rams on, got the Rams on Sunday night.
Hey, oh Joe.
Boy, you're feeling real good.
Boy, I ain't going to lie.
Ever since yesterday, I ain't going to lie.
You've been real upbeat.
I ain't going to lie now.
Hey, hey, Joe, you got to think about it.
When am I ever downbeat?
I ain't never been on the downbeat, huh?
My head always high.
Regardless of circumstance, I don't care how I come out.
I'm going, you know, my head high, huh.
Because if my head down, I can't see where I'm going, Joe.
Oh, okay, okay.
Chin up, chest out, huh?
Hey, got the beat.
Is they coming, though, Joe.
Just coming real soon.
Watch how you start crying on.
here. It won't be this week. We're going to be all right.
We're going to be all right. Chair, don't worry about me. Don't worry about old Joe.
Hey, Joe, I was on here. Hey, Joe, I was on here boo on one one. I really, I see you, boy. I seen. Hey, I would hurt, boy. Hey, you know, Joe, you'd be invested in some joke. Yeah, yeah. I wouldn't hurt though, Joe.
Oh, yeah, I know you, you like to see, you like to see his misery. Yeah, I would hurt, boy.
Can't think of a better person to hurt.
He doesn't jump on here and talk to all that trash about me.
We're going to beat your Broncos.
We're going to beat your Broncos.
Wait when we get your Broncos.
I said, Ocho.
Y'all don't got Joe.
We don't need Joe.
We got Uno.
Okay.
It's all good.
It's all good.
It's a new year, though.
Why y'all be bringing up old stuff, man?
Like Joe's safe.
Hey, I bring it up.
The Brown's head coach, Todd Monk.
has confirmed Deshawn Watson will start week two.
Here's what Monkin would ask if the players are behind Deshaun
as the starting quarterback.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
We'd have to ask you every one of those guys,
you said 100%.
And really, to be honest, I mean,
they don't have a choice.
I mean, this isn't a debate.
And I don't ask the players what every series would play I'm going to call.
What play we're going to call in defense?
Like, their jobs to play,
our jobs to put the best player on the field.
We think gives us a chance.
to win. And I love our guys. But the moment we get into that in terms of who this guy should be
playing, what we're doing this, what we ought to be calling, we've lost side of the target,
which is to own it and fix it and try like hell to get better. And that's irrespective of it goes
out there. But there's decisions that are made at every position. Quarterback just happens
to be one of those. But ultimately, I don't blame people for having opinions, but ultimately it's
for all of us to support who we put on the field that gives us the best chance to win.
Deep down, do you, Joe, I'm going to go to you first.
Deep down, do you believe Monkin believes that DeShan gives them the best chance to win?
No, I do not.
Okay, Ocho, I do not believe that.
I think he has been the puppet.
I wouldn't, you know, when I thought about Todd Monkin taking the job,
I'm like, man, why would he take this job considering the fact that this quarterback's spew that's been going on for the past couple of years?
It just didn't make sense to me.
So no, I think, you know, he's been instructed by, you know, the higher ups, who to play, when to play.
And I kind of think, you know, this may be his last game, this game on the road because, man, them fans, and for the Browns, Ocho, they've been in the uproar, bro.
I don't know if y'all been paying attention, but they ticked off.
Yeah.
And it's Sunday, Sunday, Mark, Deshaun Watson's 20th start since joining the Browns and March
2022.
50 quarterbacks have started at least 15 games since then.
Watson is ranked 49th in QBR, 41st in completion percentage,
49th of yards per dropback, and 46th in off target rate.
Hey man,
I'm gonna be honest with y'all.
The young man dealing with a lie, bro.
And when I watch it and when I watch him play,
Arcan Ocho, I just don't see the pizzazz that he used to play with.
You know what I mean?
Like he, you know, when you see a cat,
you're like, man, he got it.
He got, I don't know what the hell it is, but he got it.
And Deshaun had it at once a point of time.
And it seems like now it's like he's struggling to kind of, you know, get back going.
It's like he's thinking too much almost more than just going out there reading,
reacting.
You know what I mean?
Everything is kind of methodical.
That's what it seems like to me when I watch him play.
Because when I watched him play in the past, how he was so dominant and elusive back there,
making plays with his legs, his arms.
I don't see that no more, fellas.
Nope.
I don't.
I really don't.
Listen, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've fought for the Sean, obviously on the show with a lot of people, especially in the chat, you know, during our time before the season started, while the season started, really not disagreeing.
I mean, really disagreeing with me, you know, telling me, oh, you don't know what you're talking about.
Oh, oh, you Hayden, blah, blah, blah.
I understand the business.
I understand the business side of things.
And it's, it's not that I like Shador or I don't like Shadour or I don't like DeShan or I like Deshaun or I just understand the way the business.
works, you know? And now I told you I understood the way it would play out. And I guarantee
you, Joe, just like Joe said, piggybacking off what I've already been saying all along,
Deshaun has three games. He has three games to get this team going in the right direction.
Those first two, if you come out to get you start over two, that third game, that first game
at home, you won't be the starter. They're going to make a change. Now, the one thing that can save you
and your coach Todd Munkin will give you some grace. If you go out there and you win this game,
against Tampa Bay, that's going to save your lifeline.
That's your lifeline.
If you start over to, I'm telling you now, I said it first,
a change we made at the quarterback position for their first home game
so they don't have to deal with booze the entirety of the game.
If that's the case, you might as well go in and start him not in.
Hey.
But I thought he said he can't worry about who somebody like and this and all that other stuff.
The fact of the matter is, don't you, I think it's going to go longer.
I think they're going to give him at least four games.
I think it depends on this game
I think it depends on this game number two
if they can win this game
then yeah he'll probably get extended
meaning like he'll get an extension
as far as like more games
but they get they dole blew out
in this game here against the buccaneers
boy please
hey and you know it
Todd Monkin
he's the puppet uncle Joe
man come on
they ask him questions
and he's not the one in control
or whether he plays a lot.
Right.
But he's the face, Ocho, he got to answer the questions now.
Dingo.
Yeah.
J, you got to understand the game.
You got to understand the game.
All they did was, hey, they just winding him up,
wind him up in the back, you know,
let me go and do the talking.
That's it.
What you know is that there's only 32 of these jobs.
Normally what I try to do, Ojo,
is getting a situation, Joe,
is that they got at least a quarterback.
They at least got the foundation.
I can build all the other pieces.
Give me the engine and then I can build a car around it.
Come on that.
Okay.
To take this job knowing, look at all the guys that they've had,
from Stafansky to Hugh Jack to Freddie Kay,
all the guys that they've had and Greg was that's gotten fired.
Yes.
No quarterback.
knowing that Jimmy and Dee Haslam is, they're not very good football people.
And you take this job.
You take this job because you know there's only 32 of them.
I'm one of 32.
Yeah.
I got no chance of winning.
No.
I got no chance because I got to play because I don't have control over the roster.
I don't have control of free agency.
I don't have control over the draft.
I'm just a coach.
Yeah.
They don't tell me what plays to call.
but you don't really give me a whole lot of choice,
what to call considering what I have on that side of the football
and who's pulling the trigger.
Yeah.
And the funny thing about it too, Uncle Joe,
and those in the chat,
when you get offered jobs like this,
to be a head coach in the NFL, you take it.
Because the opportunity is not going to come along.
Matter of fact,
the opportunity to coach a very good team
is not going to come along
because they're not getting rid of those coaches.
So there's no reason to.
So when jobs like this come along,
you come in, you try to do the best you can,
putting together a team,
that can compete sometimes you know you you win sometimes you don't now coming to a
Browns or a Jets organization it's really really bad it's really bad in the ownership
isn't going to give you a two to three year lease to be able to help you build a team around
that foundational piece which you got to find first which is the quarterback position
it's tough I mean you bad look like playing Russian roulette man here's their schedule they play
on the road at Tampa.
Then they come home to Carolina and Pittsburgh.
Then they're on the road at the Jets.
They're at home at Baltimore.
Then they're on the road for three straight games.
Tennessee, Pittsburgh, New Orleans.
Then they're home for three straight games.
Houston, Vegas, Cincinnati, Atlanta.
Four games, my bad.
Then they're on the road.
New York, Baltimore.
At home.
Indy on the road at home, at on the road at
on the road at Cincinnati.
Look at that schedule.
They got a tough schedule, boy.
Yeah.
What they schedule right?
Ain't no easy wings in there for them.
No.
They might be, they might be going for the number one pick, Ocho.
No, no, that's going to be, that's going to be the dolphins.
And I'm telling, it's going to be.
But they don't play each other.
While you boojabbing, it don't look like Tennessee going to be hitting,
ain't, ain't going to be too hot either, Ocho.
Man.
Like, hold on now.
Now, this is what we can't do, now.
Now, I know Tennessee look bad.
I know the Broncos look bad.
I know the Cowboys look bad.
But what I don't want y'all to do, chat, this goes for y'all too.
Uncle Joe, y'all too, now.
Let's not overreact.
Let's not overreact.
Let's let it play out a little bit.
Joe, y'all got a chance to bounce back coming up this week now.
You hear me?
Who we got this week?
I happen to get some commanders.
Oh, commanding.
You got to commandos at home.
Oh, yeah.
Hey,
Hey, Joe,
you want to go to Jerry's whirl and watch the game?
No, no, no.
Well, what kind of fan of you?
Well, you don't want to go support your team.
No, but I don't want to make sure, you know,
because they, uh, their quarterback looked like Dejan Ludd other night.
Come on, you got a chill.
You got a cheer.
You got a cheer for real.
No, you got, you got a cheer.
I got a cheer.
You got a cheer.
Mine didn't look much better.
But I was his homeboy shooting a kid.
We had to beat the cab quarter.
Both these looked like the guy that had the camcorder.
What about the one who would draw the plays on the football, though?
On the football.
Oh, hey.
Man, he needed to be shamed with himself.
No, but my thing is, Ocho.
Yeah.
He says, okay, he couldn't decide yesterday until he watched the film.
He watched the film today and said, you know what is what he thought.
Deshawn's going to start.
He said you can't put the blame on the quarterback.
If that's the case, why would you ever change the quarterback then
if you ain't going to put the blame on it?
Because what you tell your team
is that we believe that the quarterback,
if we change the quarterback position,
we can change the results.
Yeah.
And you know what?
It's a funny thing, what I don't like about coaches.
And I talked about this,
I think it was last year when I said
I would love for coaches, owners, and GMs,
just come out and be,
honest sometimes instead of being good luck with that yeah it's not going to happen you know so what i do
that's why i'm here no uncle joe chat that's why i'm here i'm here to tell you what they really want to say
but they can say it based on the position that they're in the head coach has to be pc he has to answer
a certain way like a politician would so that's why i'm here to break things down and i know what's going to
happen i know how it's going to play out and i'm just hoping but
for the sake. You know, I like DeShan Watson, you know, Uncle Joe, chat. I like, I like
Deshaun. Who am I not to like him? I know he, you know, he had his problems in the past.
Hell, so have I, you know, who am I to be throwing rocks, huh, and hide my hand.
When I'm not. Oh, Joe, what we do here, we don't judge anybody.
Come on, yeah, we don't do that. We're talking about his feet on the field.
Football. On the football field. He hasn't been good. Yes.
So that's what he's already, you know, whatever happened off the field has happened.
We purely talking about Deshaun Watson on the football field.
Chat, y'all know.
Y'all watch the same games we've watched.
Y'all seen Deshawn go out there every time that we've watched him.
He hasn't been good.
Yeah.
There ain't no other way around it.
We can't sugar-coded.
He hasn't been good.
That's what this is about.
We're not judging this man for anything that has happened.
outside of the football world.
He's going to have to give it a gap between him and his God.
But when it comes to the football, we three of the disciples.
Hey, I'll tell you one thing.
I'm glad you said that it's between him and his God.
And you know one thing about God, huh?
What's that?
He turned water into wine, huh?
Hello.
You know, he's the weight maker, you hear me?
Hello.
He's the everlasting, huh?
Hello.
And he can make a weight.
Hello.
And one thing about that man upstairs that can make a way,
he show can take the Sean Watson and change him around
and make him look like something we've never seen before.
Huh?
Well, I tell you what, a lot of people will believe in God
if he get Deshaun Watson playing like he did when he was in Houston.
There is a God.
And he can do that.
Because, man, y'all watch him.
We've watched him, Moteau.
We've been on this.
This is going on our fourth season.
Yeah.
Well, we're in our fourth season.
season. As when do we start? September what? I forget what I, I know, but September to what?
We started that Sunday. He tore the Achilles that Monday night.
Damn. September the 10th was our fourth, was our anniversary when we started the show.
So we've been watching the shot ever since. It hadn't been good. You know, the injuries, man,
and caught up with him, Mark and Ocho, because I see the hesitation in him when he does play.
you know like because he used to have that get up
and get on up out of that.
You hear me?
You hear what I'm talking about?
Oh Joe?
He used to have that get on up out of that.
And now it's like he's taking guesses himself
and that's what kind of gets him in a lot of trouble.
Hey, them boy, hey, hey, Joe, you know?
Man, them boys around him, man,
they got, they got to play to the highest of their, man.
Because he's not in a position no more
where he can raise their level of play.
So they got to raise their level of play
that makes sure he on point.
To raise him.
Yeah, man.
That's tough, boy.
Hey, I need Fanny, Fanning got to come up.
Judy, you got to show up and act like you at Alabama.
Boy, anything touch your hands, man, you got the hat.
Like, eh, eh, eh, huh?
I'm trying to get about it, man.
Hey, Concepcion.
What, what's the other one, eh?
Balson.
Balson, yeah.
Come on, man.
Y'all got, y'all boy, got to play out your.
all mine for this boy, man.
He fight for his life.
Yeah, bro.
For his career, for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, that's his life.
I know it's an opportunity,
but man, you know, come on that.
If you're on the back end,
you want that back in the end well, man.
Yeah.
It's just hard for me to see,
Arcan Ocho, that if things don't go right for him this season,
I ain't saying he ain't going to get another opportunity,
but to go right into a different situation
to where he can start right away.
No, no, that's...
I don't see that happening, bro.
No.
I think his starting days, unless it's going to be really hard for him to get a backup job.
You think so?
Given the current situation, yes.
Because they don't want to have to deal with the riffraff, all that.
Yeah.
Nope.
I get it.
I get it.
Damn, man.
A lot of teams, Ocho, you know this.
A lot of teams listen to their fan base.
Yes, sir.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Big time.
Big time.
And then fan basis, if you can play,
fan base aside, fans be down.
Have you seen something,
you seen the reason for a team to bring him in?
Be it all things being equal.
No, not as, not as, as we're having this discussion,
now hey, he go out there and light a tamper up for 400 yards,
finishes out this season,
on a promising note he throws for 3,000 yards, 3500 yards.
Okay.
But outside of that, I just don't, it's just hard.
It's just hard.
Based on because, like I said, he got there in 22.
He didn't even play in 21.
Last time he played was 20.
That's crazy.
When you think about it, we're in 2020.
We're in 26, don't you?
We're 26.
Hold on.
Don't go back here.
50 quarterbacks have started at least 15 games.
I think Deshaun got like 19 games on this.
in six seasons.
Damn.
Think it, that's two games over.
That's two games over
an NFL season.
All we can do is hope.
Yeah.
Hey, no, I mean, listen, that's not your team.
Joe, that's not your team.
It's not my team.
All we can do is hope.
I don't want to see him play bad.
I would love to see him bounce back.
You know, quiet all the critics,
quiet all the naysayers, you know.
Have a good chance.
Have a, have a second chance.
it rebuilding this career.
I mean, I would like it.
I don't want to see him to go out like this.
We're going to see what happens.
We're going to see what happens.
