Hey, well, you don't feel, you don't feel bad for him, though, at least?
Starting point is 00:06:48 Let's get into it. Returning out the five-year layoff, Connor McGregor squared off against Max Hollow in the welterweight rematch of their featherweight about in August of 2013. And the results were disappointing. Ocho, I think the thing is, look, covered the sport alone, not MMA, but I've been around sports. And as far as selling a fight, promoting a fight, I would say Ali won, Conner McGregor might be two. Yeah. Now, as far as fight draws, you got Tyson is the king.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Then you got money made. and I'm not so sure this kid, young man right here, or Connor McGregor, ain't number three as far as draw in the paper view era. He can promote a fight, he can sell a fight. But this was anticlimatic. I don't know, I don't know because this is not him. He don't normally come out throwing flying kicks.
Starting point is 00:07:41 So I don't know if he heard it in the staging area, the warm up area. I don't know, did he hurt it in training? I don't know what it was. But when he threw that first, when you see that right knee killed. And I thought the ring was wet, and that's why he kept slipping. But after going back and looking at the replays, I can see that knee kept buckling.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Go ahead, Ocho. I think, obviously, I forgot what fight it was. I'm sure people in the chat that watch combat sports, especially the UFC on a consistent basis. I remember seeing him come out one fight. I can't remember who was fighting. But as soon as ref said, get it on, he flew out and threw a punch. through a flying kick or a flying knee, something like that. So I haven't seen him do it since then.
Starting point is 00:08:23 But I think the fact that he had such a long layoff, Uncle Joe, you know, five years and the drilling and rush and there was no calmness to him. And I just don't think that knee was able to hold up and withstand with him exerting that much energy right off jump. That's the only thing I could think of. Unkey blew his knee out. Yeah. If you watch the replay in slow motion, you know, he blew his knee. What's the pain back?
Starting point is 00:08:49 And in a buckle? Here's my question, Ocho. Well, damn, ain't you been training for the past, what? Two months or so? You know, ain't you been kicking? Ain't you been boxing? Huh? He's been training longer than that.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I'm saying for him to, listen, though, but for him to start to fight the way that he did, hell, I was like, damn, what the hell? Kind of out here doing. He got some new tricks up his sleeve. No. I see, you know, I think the fight, you're talking about uh uh uh uh ohcho is the fight he had with hose aldo is the
Starting point is 00:09:23 aldo charged him he backed up caught him with a left and then finished him with hammer fist i think that's the fight that it was quick yeah but when i look at when i look at this joe you're absolutely right and he said it before it's like his life changed first of all he got life altering money when he fought for in mayweather in 2017 then he starts a whiskey brand he sells 50 60 percent of that for 300 million so now i got 300 million dollars oh joe one One day I'm getting food. I'm fighting the UFC and I'm making good money. Don't get me wrong, but 300 million is life altering.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Even if you're making $10, 15 million dollars a fight per fight, you're only fighting that most twice a year. So now I just think in a matter of six months, I've got $300 million at my disposal now. It's hard for you to get up and train when you got silk pajamas and milk slippers and you live in an ivory tower. Because all of a sudden, getting punched and kicked and choked, it don't seem as appealing as it once did.
Starting point is 00:10:23 It takes, it takes something in. That's why you gotta take you, when guys start, think about it, Mayweather was making all this money, 20, 30, 40 million, and he still trained like he was broke. Yeah. It's not like the old days, Ocho, and I said, guys used to fight three, four times a year. If a guy didn't get knocked out, Ocho, that joke was,
Starting point is 00:10:43 even if he got knocked out, He was still fighting two, three times of the year. If you won and didn't get no bruise, you're fighting four five times of the year because the money wasn't like it is. So now all of a sudden, you get life-altering money in a span of six weeks, six months.
Starting point is 00:10:57 It changes your perception. Are you still as hungry? Can you still fight like you broke, like you destitute? Now look, he's not the most skill. Look, he's a striker. And if you go look at anybody when they get him on the mat,
Starting point is 00:11:12 they keep him there for the remainder it around and they gas him out. Look at Khabib did it. Everybody, that's how they beat him. Now, if you stand up there and try to trade blows with it, you're probably probably going to knock you out. So he's not versatile. And the one thing that you got,
Starting point is 00:11:27 you don't got to be great at any one thing in UFC. You got to be good at a lot of disciplines. You got to be able to wrestle. You got to be able to strike. You got to be able to snuff a takedown. You got to be able to get up. You got to be good, good. Not great.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Now, you get a guy like John Jones, and he's damn near great at everything. Oh, you get a guy like a St. Pierre, but this is, man, this is so anticlimatic. It's almost, you know, to be like, Joe, oh Joe, if the Super Bowl and the quarterback, the first player of the game, gets the, gets, gets, gets an engine, he's out for the game.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Yeah. Yeah. I'm glad you just said that, Uncle Joe. 2005, Joe. First playoff game, Cincinnati, Carson Palmer, drop back, those at 50-yard bomb, first play at the game to Chris Henry. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:28 I look back, first play he out, torn ACL. So just think about how you felt in a playoff game. And now imagine that's the Super Bowl. I would say, ooh, that's, you'd have been crazy. It's like, you know, the first player of the game and the best player on the basketball game. Yeah. And he's out for the remainder of the game. So basically he's going to be out for the remainder of the series.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Yeah. In your situation, Joe, it's the remainder of the series. If it's happening games one or if it's game seven, man. Hey, hey, I agree with you, though. I think it is hard when, you know, when you kind of fat fool and their edge is gone a little bit. You know what I mean? so so so your training regimen may not be as strict as normal uh maybe he took buddy for granted but i think hey holloway took it easy on him because hell he could have really he really could
Starting point is 00:13:23 put his lights out quick quick yeah yeah i mean sports machines yeah i think he kind of knew something wasn't right they got they got history because i i thought i tweeted i was like man why did man keep slipping. Hey, boy. I'm thinking the floor, I'm thinking, because I look, I don't know, I don't been to, I don't been to a UFC fight. They go in the ring and they dried up. I mean, look, obviously there's blood on the, and sweat especially.
Starting point is 00:13:47 But I'm like, I ain't never seen them. And you see they, they dry their feet off with before they get into the ring. And so I was like, why this man slipping like that? Because you can't see it in real time. I mean, they had to go back and show it down and slow motion for you to see what actually happened. But I was just like, but damn, he slipped again. I was like, why this man slipping so much?
Starting point is 00:14:09 Listen, man. Hey, oh, Cho, that's why it's so important, bro, to stay composed, be calm and big situations mean any type of sporting event because once you get in there, bro, like, how do you at least start out with a flying kick? I'm like, damn. You know what I mean? That's normally not him.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Huh? That's normally not him. That's what I'm saying. So, like, he didn't come in there, like, you know, just, you know, probably a little bit. more relaxed like you come flying out your corner with a kick bro come on uh you know what unc that's my bad you know who did that started right off with that with a flying knee that was oh my god did that to ben asking that was my bad oh you're talking about been asking when he
Starting point is 00:14:52 called him and knocked him out with a flying knee that's my bad my bad sorry about that show no and when you had that type of injury that he had you can't play through that bro you you No, no, no, no, no. You can't even play that all. You got no stability. And you can't fight with them. I mean, no, it's over. It's over.
Starting point is 00:15:10 It's over after that. Yeah. I just, oh, my God. Look, and I feel bad. I feel bad because there were some great matches tonight. Gable Stevenson, he won his UFC. He won. Did a great job on his guy.
Starting point is 00:15:24 But so many people, this is what they paid to see. Yeah. Conner McGregor. Yeah. Conno McGregor is the biggest draw in UFC history, and it's not close. Yeah. Easily. It's not close.
Starting point is 00:15:35 I'm not saying he the best fighter. I said he's the biggest draw. Nobody moves the needle in the history of the UFC like Connor McGregor. Go ahead. I got one. Hey, Joe, and on, think about this. Think if you take Connor McGregor's personality, right? Who is his personality, his cachet, his presence, his aura, his wordplay,
Starting point is 00:15:57 play, his mannerisms, his charisma, and you put into a John Jones. What the hell you think would happen? Nah, God ain't going to get your head. Can you imagine John John? Not only does he fight the way he fights, but he had all those intangibles that caught. Yeah. John is a guy.
Starting point is 00:16:15 John got a switch. Yeah. I know. He's a serial killer for real. Yeah, I know. For real. He had that other dynamic. I mean, it's going along with it.
Starting point is 00:16:28 I mean, that's like saying, well, I'm going to give, I'll leave Mike Tyson's tenacity. That's not fair. So you, I mean, but if you look at Connor and what he's done, nobody's a bigger draw. And, you know, maybe, yeah, they could have had him on the, on the White House card. But for what? It's kind of like, look, I understand that the Cowboys are grandfathered in because of Thanksgiving. Anybody that plays on Thanksgiving is going to do a huge number because guess what? Everybody's off from work for the most part.
Starting point is 00:17:00 We're off from work and they're sitting around watching television. Yep. So you can put anybody there and they're going to do a big number. They's like, you know what? We're going to save him and let him do his own thing in Vegas. And you see the buzz that it created. Everybody's talking about it. Connor's back.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Connor's back. Everybody wanted to see, but it's hard. And we talked about this all the time, Mocho. You got to continue to sharpen that knife. You take, think about this. You take, tell me the profession that you can take five years off and be as sharp as you were when you left. Look at Jordan.
Starting point is 00:17:39 If great as Jordan was, Jordan wasn't a Jordan that left when he came back the first time. Thanks. He was not. It took him. He had a game or two, but that was a year and a half.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Now imagine taking five years off. Yeah. You're five years older. Your skills, because it's not like he, look here, it wasn't like he was training. He was enjoying himself.
Starting point is 00:18:02 He's driving, He's on lammots. He's a jet setting going from place to place to place. But I, and it's hard to say, and I know y'all are like, it's hard to feel sorry, but I do because, you know, you come back. If you get beat, I get beat. I can live with that. But damn, a minute into the fight and it's over because I suffer a knee injury.
Starting point is 00:18:27 That is so, that is so anticlimactic. And Dana, I know Dana is just like, damn, what kind of luck I had tonight. I'm kind of luck I had tonight with this. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that sucks. But as an athlete, as an athlete, I think you can, you can kind of understand there's certain things that out of your control, you know, it's put all the work in and then it's
Starting point is 00:18:47 time to play. Or in this instance, tonight it's time to actually fight. And all that work you're putting in is down the drain because of an injury that's really out of your control. I mean, it sucks for the people, especially for those that, that were excited, like myself excited to watch him fight except for those that actually paid to go to to Vegas you know to watch the fight but outside of that listen I I remember the memories I remember all the good memories oh the trash are unbelievable yeah
Starting point is 00:19:16 that man he was at the day off and the desk and they had all the fighters he was like at the bottom row and they had people behind him and he was talking to somebody started talking he turned around who the fucking you man he just had a way him and floyd i do think some of the things that he and floyd was saying kind of crossed the line so you have to be careful with that yeah yeah but hey to joe frazier he probably thought ali crossed the line with some of the things that he said to him absolutely with that being said there's one fight to be made that'll be the biggest fight in ufc history what's that who john jones and the cameroonian assassin francis and ganoo
Starting point is 00:20:02 That's the only fight that matters now. Chad, let me know what y'all think. Hey, hey, hold on, hold up. Do y'all think realistically that's going to happen? Hey, if they want it to happen, because you see, hey, Floyd May or the fault, Connor McGregor. Why? Because they wanted it to happen.
Starting point is 00:20:23 There's too much money involved for it not. And they've been going back and forth. Francis and John been going back and forth. Yeah. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, for instance, in Gondon tweeted something. Somebody, he's the baddest man. John Jones tweeted back the baddest man from across the street.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Uh, for instance, tweeted back saying, well, cross the street. Uh, you know what I'm saying? Hey. Oh, okay. I say I'm the baddest man that I'm on one side. You say you're the baddest man on the other side. Cross the street to Will Soutley. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Dana, that's the only fight that you can be, that's, that's the only fight that can happen. This is the funny thing. This is the only fight that can happen. And obviously this is the fight that all the people want to see. Heavyweights, John Jones, Francis, but the money for John Jones. It has to make sense. It has to be right.
Starting point is 00:21:09 That's been the issue with Dana White. If I'm not mistaken, you can correct me if I'm wrong with him and the disconnect between him and John Jones is him to come back and fight in the UFC. The money has to make sense for what he's done, not only for the sport, but also being undefeated. Yeah. Look, I get it. Everybody talking about Tom Aspinall, but Tom Aspinall did not look good against Serial.
Starting point is 00:21:29 gone and just because they didn't and I get this I understand styles made fight and just because someone didn't look good against gone that doesn't mean but just think about what serial god Cyril gone just did and just think about what John Jones did to him after being away from the game yeah John Jones is a different type of animal now we all know uh and Gano is heavy handed very heavy handed that is a ginormous ass man yeah I mean I saw it down an interview with him, Ocho and Joe? Yeah. He, a, he's 265 and he is chill, he lucked a,
Starting point is 00:22:07 I tell you what he built like Miles Garrett. Damn. That's what he, that's what he, that's what he looks like up close, Miles Garrett. Yeah. Hmm. He's not, he not technically, he's not technical. He's a striker. Yeah, no, no.
Starting point is 00:22:23 But you got to be great to, to beat John, you got to be, hey, you got to be on your game. Because look, he ain't really a strike. When he's, if he's striking, he's looking to set something up. Yeah. He looks going to take you down. He used to hit you. He's going to get you with a kick.
Starting point is 00:22:38 He's going to get you with a spinning elbow. He'll elbow you in your face. That's what he's, that's what all he's doing. He's just doing that to loosen you up. He ain't trying to do no damage. I got a question for you, though, huh? You think about this, though, right? When's the last time John Jones has been in the ring?
Starting point is 00:22:55 Last time he fought, he fought, he fought Cyril gone. probably two years ago. Okay, two years ago, you think the inactivity for two years and he comes back and if just so happened, he gets the opportunity to fight Francis. Who are you going for? Who am I going for?
Starting point is 00:23:12 Until I see somebody beat that man with my own two eyes, I can't pick against Johnny Jones. Even with a two-year-old. Every day, I've been off for 40 months. I'm not picking against that man, Ocho. Okay. I'm, listen.
Starting point is 00:23:29 What about you, Rojo? Who you got? I mean, obviously, I'm going to go to the person that's undefeated. I'm going to go to the, I'm just curious to hear what Unx's answer would be, because most of the time, you know, Uncle would favor, wouldn't be in two favor of someone that's been laid off or had. But I watched it be laid off and do what he did to Cyril gone. Yeah. He ran through Cyril gone. I watched him and people say what Steve Pay was old.
Starting point is 00:23:53 I don't know how old he was. John Jones beat his. I don't know how only was, but he was old up to get in the ring and fight. And John's whipped him. Yeah. And I saw, and everybody saw what Cyril, what, what, what, what, has how Cyril gone look, this last fight and everybody saw what John Jones did to him after a layoff. I ain't been against John Jones.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I'm not. I'm not. Joe, how much, how much we, how much we can pay you to get in that with John Jones, Joe? Yeah, I know my limitations. Okay, Ocho. Man, that man got an 84-inch reach. 84 inches. He's 6-4.
Starting point is 00:24:38 84 inches. Joe got him. I know Joe put him to sleep on Joe. I put your ass asleep, for sure. I know I do that. Hey, stop trying to throw me off on John, Joan, I'll laugh. Hey, you want that. Hey, I can sit that up.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I get Dana. I get Dan. We go to the apex. They got an art and the guard and everything over there. Got a boxer ring, too. Hey, uh, Unk, set it up for me, uh, when you say, put me to sleep, I mean, and you, you talk about, like, see, see, for the chat, I ain't going to lump you up and for Unk, I ain't going to lump you up, because I know he's going to need, but I'm going to choke your little ass out.
Starting point is 00:25:13 That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to grab it. I'm going to grab it, I'm going to choke him. God, damn. Oh, Joe. Oh, uh, you see the one dude got choked out. He looked up. He's like, damn, his old way.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Yeah, man, that man choke you out here. What the hell you think what's going on now? That's, hey, that's what happens when you. go unconscious. Hey, sometimes Joe, they start fighting the referee. Hey, huh? Oh, whoa, whoa, no. Not, it's over. Hey, it's over.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Hey, bro. UFC is a different sport, man. They will literally put you to sleep, partner. You out there playing. That's- I'm glad, I'm glad you know. I'm glad you know what we would do with you. What?
Starting point is 00:25:47 Hey, man, I thought he broke dude neck, dude. Hey, they tapped dude. He looked up like there. It's over with. Yeah, it's over. Man, that man. And they got so many different, man, man, look here.
Starting point is 00:25:58 They got so many different. I remember the first, I went to the very first UFC, it was held in Denver. The first two were held in Denver. That's what Horace Gracie, because this jujitsu, it came from that Gracie family. Little, look, because back then, Joe, there wasn't no weight classes.
Starting point is 00:26:14 You fought and you keep fighting until the end of the night. So you might have to fight three times in the night in order to get to the champion, yes. And there was no weight. So a guy 1.30 might be fighting the guy 265. Damn. And I was like, hey, man. Man, and he had on his geek.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Yeah. I like, man. And if I'm not mistaken, I think he fought Kim Shamrock. I think that's what he fought. Chad, look it up, 1993 in Denver, Colorado is in McNichols Arena. That's what the Nuggets used to play. Used to play it called McNichols. Then they changed the name to the Pepsi and said,
Starting point is 00:26:50 I don't know what it's called now. But Chad, look it up, 1993. Man, then little old dude Joe, I was like, man, why he laying down like that? Hey, next day you know, I, well, I got it. He got him. Little old dude, little, little, little. The Gracie family, I mean, all of them has got a hens old.
Starting point is 00:27:14 I think you got a brother name. I'm trying to think. But, hey, they started it. Yeah. All that jujitsu, that's them. Yeah. Man, please. They see us with it.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Oh, yes. Yes. Oh, it's called ball arena now? Okay. But, man, I just, hey, if I'm not mistaken, I think Drake bet a million dollars that Connor was going to win.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Get out of here. He lost it. That little him gone. But he's good, he good, he good, though. He's good for it. But see, that's the thing. You see how quick, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Now, look, if the thing go three, four, five rounds, get beat okay I can live with that oh cho 30 seconds or some bulljohn like that man I'm telling y'all I'm thinking like damn Conn must got a different game playing he must want to wrestle the night or something
Starting point is 00:28:12 no no no no it's hard to change up that's why guys if you see a lot of these guys go into Dagestan they go in to fight with Kabib group over there because they're just a different animal what you call them thinking about I was like to ask Daniel
Starting point is 00:28:28 if he's thinking about sending his son But his son's a football player and he's a wrestler. Hold on. Ain't Kabeem over there wrestling the Grizzlies and all that? Yeah, yeah. That's where they go. That's all they do. That's all you do.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Rassel. Damn, we should do that, man. We should go. Hey, yes. What's your thing? We go wrestle. We go over there and wrestle a grizzles and with Khabib now. No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:28:50 We ain't got to go over there. Y'all got a zoo right now. Damn, man. Man, I'm talking about that. You better. Yeah, I get, okay, I get me one of them little four-month-month-old cubs. I ain't mess with it. I ain't mess with one of the thousand pounds,
Starting point is 00:29:02 eight foot stowed on his hand leg, grisley. We're close. Like machete and hell down. Hey. Yeah, Joe, we don't need to fly away to all. It's back and stay.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Where they train at? Yeah, we ain't got a, Hey, Joe, we got zoo. We got, we got bears right at the Atlanta Zoo. No, bro. The bears, they don't get it. They don't understand it. They don't understand it.

Starting point is 00:31:13 Why is it important for the darker part of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution? Why is it important that Americans know about it? Well, if we don't understand the full context in which our nation was founded, we won't understand the full context in which our nation now finds itself. I'm Rebecca Nagel. Talking about as a kid, do you remember that we met even way before that? Let me think. Did you walk up to the gate?
Starting point is 00:33:31 That was me, Dee. That was me. The day we found out that you and the whole crew was at Hit Factory, The mission was to get me to go to the gate, start freestyling, and see if I could get in the studio. I'm rapping, and then suddenly I hear a voice, hey, open the gate, let him in. The gate slowly went, come, come, come, come, come. They all, they're watching this, and they watch me walk into there, and that is a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life. Listen, and laugh but not least with MC Jen on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:34:01 For the rest, you make them understand. Just get up under them. Patty the batty. Earned a statement victory. Oh, we get back into the wind, column beating St. Denis in the first round submission in less than a minute. St. Denis shot for a takedown in the opening seconds of the fight,
Starting point is 00:34:17 giving Pembley an opening to lock a guillotine choke. A moments later, during the scramble on the map, Pembley transitioned to a D.R. Choke and ended the fight with 52 seconds. The second fast is the arts choke submission in UFC history. He needed this because he was supposed to fight, Peoria. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:39 No, he was supposed to fight. What's the guy's name? Justin Gagee. He was supposed to, Ilya, he was supposed to fight Tuporia. Because ended up, because Gaichi beat Patty. And then because the winner of that, I guess the winner of that was supposed to fight on the two of the, on the, the 250 car, the, the, the White House.
Starting point is 00:34:58 White House. But Gachie won. And so he ended up fighting. So Patty needs. I needed this. Patty was on the road though. I like him. He can sell a fight too. Maybe it's something, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:35:10 I think he's Irish as well, but it's just something about those guys. He come to fight, he gave you everything he got, and this was quick. That's what I'd be doing. I'll be trying to get up out of there. I ain't trying to go. I ain't trying to go five minutes,
Starting point is 00:35:22 15, minute, 20 minutes, and I'm trying to get it up out of there. Hey, pinny roll, buddy, boy, he put him in, I don't know what type of move he had him in. But he put him to sleep. Yeah. But see, that's the thing, that you gotta be careful.
Starting point is 00:35:34 of Joe, you shoot and all of a sudden they get you in a, they get you in a, uh, uh, a front choke or a rear necket choke or a triangle choke. Man, they got all kind of choke. Hey, God say, hold on. But hell, ain't you trained to get about all that? Not when they get that back locked in, you ain't. Hey, when they don't get them, when they get them, when they get the beat locked in and clutch on your joke?
Starting point is 00:35:56 Yeah. You know how you be locked, you know what I'm saying? You know how you be locked in? Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Nah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:05 I don't know. I don't be locked in like that. He don't know. Nah. You don't know. Hey, don't tell me that. Patty's English. Don't tell him what, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:36:17 I would tell him, don't tell Joe, nothing about the ground game. Because he's still doing all that talking. I understanding, you know, I was a 6-8, you know,
Starting point is 00:36:26 wrestling champ, my junior year and has to. Yeah. Yeah. So you think you got a good technique? Hey, Joe. I got great ground game. I was like Khabib before Kibh, Joe.
Starting point is 00:36:39 All I'm saying is you might be good, but you can't mess with me. That's all I'm saying. You know what the funny thing is? Is like my game is well-rounded because I'm like good at everything, but I'm probably the best striker you are ever saying. So like you're a good boxer,
Starting point is 00:36:53 but you can wrestle. You got a great chance in the UFC because that's what you got to be. You got to be good at a lot of different disciplines. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So Joe, you might want to take back everything. You're gonna say it to me before I see you in public.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Man, listen, I want you to take this as a threat. I'm gonna choke your little land sound and you'll keep my name out your mouth. I promise you that. Matter of fact, hey, Joe, I'm in New York. When you get to New York? I know what room you in and everything. Don't worry when you hear me knock at the door,
Starting point is 00:37:18 room service, yeah. I got knuckle sandwich for your little lands. Yeah. Hey, you were hit with the movie line. Room service. Yeah, room service, yeah. I got a knuck a sandwich for his little lads. Hey, soon as you over the door,
Starting point is 00:37:33 bha, bha! I don't know why people fall for that. You know damn where you ain't order no room service, but you open the door to talk about, or you go put, you know, back in the gul go peep, through the peephole in there, p-oop. Yeah, yeah, I got some poor. But now, this one, look, Patty, Patty look good.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I don't know what Gates he's gonna do. He had that outstanding win over Ilya Tampora. So I don't know what he's gonna do. Um, Ely is going to take some time. He's going to take some time to cover. Fraction, orbital, all that stuff. He, he's out.
Starting point is 00:38:12 He might be out until, I don't know. Hey, Joe, he might not be ready to go until 27. Who is this? The guy that you, uh, Justin Gathe on Freedom 250. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The one that got beat,
Starting point is 00:38:24 the judge beat the break. He ended up on the stool. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He went to the hospital. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:38:31 No, I'm saying. He ended on the stool like the, the club. I'm gonna say, no, we're not, no, no, we good, we good. Yeah. So he, he ain't fighting, cause Joe, you broke your, yours was worse than mine. I ended up getting a, I got a plate in mind,
Starting point is 00:38:44 and I ended up getting a new plate. I did it in 95, then got a new, got it redone in 2008. What you mean you got it redone? What's wrong with it? I ended up getting an infection. Listen to my sister, I was using the netty pot. Yeah. For sinuses, and I ended up pushing the infection,
Starting point is 00:39:03 and they got trapped inside that plate. Oh, man. So, then I got to be careful blowing my nose, because if I blow my nose too hard, my nose will start bleeding. Then I got that problem. You know what I said? So I have to be real careful. That's why, you know, a lot of times,
Starting point is 00:39:19 when people say, well, man, what you do? You must be taking a bump of cocaine. When I go out camera, I say, no, I'm just wiping my nose. I can't blow it because the last thing I need to do is just, now I got a nose bleed, the whole thing, and I got to put, what you call them up my nose. Yeah, when I broke mine, it was kind of, it had my skin bulging out like that. But yeah, I got 18 screw three plates.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Yeah, titanium. Yeah. Yeah. And I know, I know exactly what side of the face the aim for that. It's the stronger side. Did, yeah, it is. Hey, I'm, listen, I'm from, I'm going to, I'm going to crush that. You're going to crush what?
Starting point is 00:39:54 First off, you ain't even going to touch me, partner. The side would it, with a titanium mat. So that's, so, uh, yo, so you, so you don't really have no problem, Joe, like blowing your nose or anything? Nah, but when it, you know, when it get cold outside, the winter months, like, oh, when I'm getting a hurt cutting, he started trimming over on his left side, like my face started tingle a little bit. Joe, that's my, that's my side mind on the left side. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that left side got me, boy. Okay. Man, I, I mean, I blew my nose one time, man.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Bad? What I blew my nose Joe that just like just started gushing. Hey him. Nah, I ain't been, I ain't had so I ain't gonna tell y'all what I had to use to stop it. Your shirt? Nope. I had to, had to use what the women used. Yep.
Starting point is 00:40:46 All right. Yeah. Put in your nose. Yes. How else could I stop it? Wait, hey, Joe, and they think I'm number one? I got their southern nose. He got that, he got, he got that little one with the wide nostrils.
Starting point is 00:41:02 He can, you know what I mean? Like, you got that little beak, you got that little beak nose over there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, black folk, man, we got, we got them big four nose. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Yeah. Man said he had to put a, uh, damn. Yeah. A tent, but tap on, okay. Damn. We could pick up in there, man. Hey, we should have had a picture. No, I wish, man, you think I'm gonna let somebody take a picture of that.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Shut your damn mind. Hey, what a graphic team at. I know they can see this, man. Y'all gotta make that. I'll tell you what. If they like their job at night camp, they won't be making the graphic like that. I make it then.
Starting point is 00:41:48 I make it. If they like their job. England defeated Norway 2 to 1 an extra time. Bellingham. Jude Bellingham scored twice for the second time in the tournament to lead England to the semifinals. Man, that got done on Norway goalie. Man, that Joe got hands like DeAndre Aten.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Twice. He twice, he had the ball right his hand, Joe. Oh, oh. The problem is, you got to understand how fast that ball from the day. But hold on, Joe. He's trying to catch the ball versus just hitting it out of play. Yeah, when you're trying to catch and you're catching it back.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Oh man, we're in trouble. He was in trouble. Again, Bellingham, Jude Bellingham, that is. He scored twice for the second time. Ocho, the question is, did England's first goal hit the Skycam wire? You know what? I heard somebody say it hit the Skycam wire, but I don't think even if it didn't,
Starting point is 00:42:54 I don't think it would have affected anything, you know, know in general, hitting the Skycam wire and that goal have nothing to do with each other. That's part of the game, man. I mean, not really part of the game, but most of the time they can say, oh, because they can say, oh, it was an advantage on why you scored the goal. But the damn damn skywire ain't had nothing to do with that. But I know I got one question. I don't know what they have, Jewel and Bellingham.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I know he's good. Yeah. I know he's good. Obviously, plays in the mid, you know, for Real Madrid. but I don't know what he ate before this goddamn World Cup but he's been playing all world like the top player that we already know he is
Starting point is 00:43:34 I mean dude I mean he's balling he sees he saved them last game he saved him again today he'd be looking for that that ricochet the Ocho damn he always he always somewhere that ball
Starting point is 00:43:50 care him that ball always the right place right spot at the right time or he finds the ball whatever the case sells he finds a damn ball i'm like damn and i know Norway's gonna be saying hold on uh because uh Norway had a goal but they said holland shoved the guy that went back to to the bar i guess bar video you know uh assistant replay or something like that is that what it is
Starting point is 00:44:15 yeah yeah and so but he got wasn't no hurry to get his ass up ocho because holland did shove it and he just laid down i'm like get your ass up they're still playing he's like now because I want him to go back and look at this. He didn't make no until to get his ass up off that ground. Hey, it is, I mean, Jew first goal, that first goal was so, it was so dope, man, Joe. Man, he had a perfect touch. I mean, the touch, and no one, they even scored a goal.
Starting point is 00:44:44 He had the touch the right way. He got that ball off his left foot, man. Right through the wickets. Yeah. Man, he's been balling. He was playing really well. Yeah, great, great World Cup run for Holland, bro. way you wait so a that mean don't that mean in um England England got a face what
Starting point is 00:45:04 Argentina now no uh France plays yes England and Argentina man and this might be this might be England here so you've been saying this coming home since 1966 I like messy guess what Ocho huh in B A. A. You like who? I like messy, but guess what? I'm NBA now. Anybody but Argentina. Why?
Starting point is 00:45:40 What's wrong with Argentina? But I'm asking why? Why to change the heart? Because you was arguing me down by Messi being a goal. That's what changed anything, but I don't want them to celebrate no more. I want heartbreak for them.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Damn. Damn. Okay. Why to change the heart, though? I'm just curious. Hey, I had a John Q moment. I think Friends going to get them up. I hope so.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Hold on. Friends play Argentina or Argentina play England? Well, I thought the two games, I thought outside for the two games tonight. ABA, anybody but Argentina. Chad. What? Who played? No chat, man.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Holland picked up 20 million, 20 million subs too. Damn. He did? A million. What you call him is almost a 29 million now. Boy, international superstar now ain't he man. Who that? Well, he was already a superstar.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Boy, he's been cutting the fool over there. He's international now. But he got, I mean, think about it, Ocho. He got 20, he picked up 20 million since the start of the World Cup. Yeah. It may depend. What was he at already? He had like 43 million.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Now he has 63. Oh boy was at 46,000 now he's almost at 29 billion. Oh, he's having a good time too. Oh, Messi, Messi got one million. He picked up a million, but he got $511 million. He got there. You know who has the most? Yeah, Ronaldo, 670.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah, there's go. Yeah, there he go. Oh, man, ain't no game tomorrow. No, it's a, oh, Joe, that's what the last, This was the last for the semifinals here. I'm mad. Okay, so a Tuesday. Oh, Tuesday, we got France to Spain at three o'clock.
Starting point is 00:47:47 They got a tournament. They got one game in Atlanta. On Wednesday, I think. What game? Either Argentina. Well, it got to be Argentina and England. No, France. Somebody played in Atlanta, if I'm not mistaken, on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:48:10 I just told you, I'm Argentina. England. Oh, in Atlanta, right? Yeah, say, yeah, on July 16th. No. Argentina's in Atlanta, yes. Yeah, July 15th. 3 o'clock, Mercedes-Benz stadium. Yeah, I want Fri. I want Mbapé. I want Mbapest to get the outstanding player. I want him to get the golden boot. I want him get everything.
Starting point is 00:48:32 And he's probably going to get it, too. He got a great chance. So they're going to probably play, they're going to probably end up playing who, Who y'all think, Argentina in the finals? I think England going to beat Argentina. I just, I think. If long as Argentina won't win it, I'm fine. Mexicans go five goals.
Starting point is 00:48:55 If long as the teams go six and beat them, I'm good. Good. That's why they're going to win, because I'm going to guess. That's why they're going to win. I probably bet my money on Argentina now. Don't do that, Joe. Just before the half, Norway had a prime opportunity
Starting point is 00:49:20 to break with striker, Alexander. failed to deliver a clear pass to what opened Holland. Later, the team was down to 1. Holland had to play the final 15 minutes of the match after Holland was subbed out. Coach confirmed after the match, he knew Holland was finished, indicating the replacement was mainly down to him emptying the tank
Starting point is 00:49:37 and having dead legs. Holland did not score against England, with it being the first World Cup knockout match in which he failed to find the net. Because I'm trying to think, You know, because I look at everything through the sports lens. I'm like, okay. A top player
Starting point is 00:49:58 that's not injured. Ocho, you coming out the game, the last 15 minutes of the game. Joe, you coming out of the game the last 15 minutes of the game. Yeah. But you say he ain't have, he ain't have nothing. He's on, he's on, he's on fumes. Yeah, by the time they get to the 70th,
Starting point is 00:50:16 the 70th minute, the 5th minute or 76th, is normally when those subs start happening, especially for somebody like Holland, who's running and battling as much as he is against those centerbacks. Yeah. Yeah, that was about right.
Starting point is 00:50:33 That's about time because he's just out there on fumes and he really not giving you enough. So you got to get somebody in there with fresh legs. Because he went, he went 90 minutes plus an extra seven, eight. Then he goes another 15. Yeah, you got to be in some real shape boy to play soccer. Yeah. I'm tired.
Starting point is 00:50:50 I was tired just watching their head. I don't know how to say dude's name, Unk, but he was very selfish when they were up, they were up one zero and they could have made it to zero. And instead he had to take a shot himself and try to take it to the finger on. Yeah, yeah. And howl it is why he wide open Joe to his left.
Starting point is 00:51:09 And a lot of people saying, oh, well, there were John Stones, who was the center back at the time, was in a good position. No, nobody's ever in a good position, you know, Obviously, when you're attacking, you got to use your mind. Yeah. You got to use the IQ, if anything, go wide and force them to open up a little bit. If you open up a little bit, it creates more space for Holland to be able to do something else. I mean, he understands the movement based on what you do as an attacker.
Starting point is 00:51:35 But, man, dude really, he wanted to take it on himself. He could have made the game too. Hey, he'll be hated for a little while, Ocho, behind that, boy. He hog the ball. I mean, what is you doing? Holland is right at your world cup. I'm trying to give you a goal, too. I want to tell my kids
Starting point is 00:51:50 I'll score. You don't want to win so we can continue to keep playing? Hey, I get this goal. We're going to win. Hey. He did. He did.
Starting point is 00:52:05 He did, Joe. He did. He damn show did. Hey, we talk about the basketball guys, the soccer guys. They don't like that man. And they're going to get,
Starting point is 00:52:11 damn, why he get it up? And he's your best player. Anytime, normally. If that's your best player, if that's, if Holland is their best player. Yeah. If that's messy, if that's Renato,
Starting point is 00:52:24 if that's somebody's best, man, kick that ball head and let him get that shot on. Come on, bro. That ain't you. Come on, bro. Funny thing about it, too, is you got a dude driven.
Starting point is 00:52:34 I don't know how to say his last name. You have John Stones. He's in a really good position. He's in between the person dribbling the ball and Holland. All you got to do is take him away from, take them away from Holland, dribble to the near post,
Starting point is 00:52:52 and it opens up the space for Holland to give you a chance to get, you know, I was trying to open up the space for me. You got to, you got to think as an attacker. We try to do, we try to do some for our country.
Starting point is 00:53:03 This is how we have to talk to you. We try to do something for the country, man. Come on, make the right play, man, so we keep playing. Bingo. There you go, Joe. Make the right. Make the right play.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Yeah. That was it. Me doing what I did. That was the right play for me. It got blocked. They got you sent home, boss. They got you sitting home. See, now if I had made the shot, y'all to say bad, that was a hell of a play by shape.

He's good, too.
Starting point is 00:55:15 And it's club season. I think he had 13, maybe 20-some goals. But still, in that situation, in that moment, you understand the game. Take the space. Take the space and create more space for you to be able to pass, facilitate the Holland and let them score the goals so we go up to zero.

Hi, it's Alec Baldwin this season on my podcast, here's the thing I'm speaking with more artists, policymakers, and performers like composer Mark Shaman.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Once you've established that you have the talent, it's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people that you're with. You know, Rob and I was always a great hang. We would sit in kibbets for hours and then eventually get around to the music. That's what I mostly think of when I think of him, the time together laughing.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Lawyer Robbie Kaplan. The great gift of being a lawyer is the ability to actually change things in our society in a way that very few people can. You can really make a difference to causes in the United States if you bring the right case at the right time. Marriage equality. Yeah, Windsor's the perfect example. Director Morgan Neville. Film school teaches you all the wrong things about making documentary. What do you want to say?
Starting point is 01:00:41 Documentary is all about your ear. What do you hear? I feel like my job is listening really, really hard. Listen to Here's the Thing on the IHeart Reheart. Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Jude Bellingham has not entered the Golden Boot Race as a midfielder. Kila Mope. He has eight goal, three assists.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Lionel Messi, eight goals, one assist. Holland, who's done now, he has seven goals. Bellingham, Jude Bellingham. Six goals, one assist. Harry Kane, six goals, one assist. Hey, he's nice, bro. I'm talking about great energy, super dynamic. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:01:20 I'm talking about potent offensively. Hey, that boy's serious. Yeah. He's gonna be looking. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, a guy. He got into the locker room, the guy that did pass that ball to hollering. He got to the locker room, everybody like,
Starting point is 01:01:36 Oh, man, come on. Yeah. You know they're gonna be getting that side out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cause we'd have been there. I remember we lost the game. We lost the game. We lost that unbeaten street.
Starting point is 01:01:48 We were 13 and 0 End up losing to the Jazz I still miss the man A dude he called Byr and said man Burr and Bernd tell you let that go Never I'm never going to let it go You caught this undefeated season
Starting point is 01:02:02 Damn who calls out Who calls out of season? I don't call the name he know he's a defensive back from Ohio State that's all I'm gonna say Oh okay What's worse at that time Is playing for NFL team And having a fan base and let them
Starting point is 01:02:18 down is one thing. Oh, let the country, yeah. Oh, sure. But represent your country, Joe. And having one of the best players in the World Cup, wide open, you choose to take a shot and try to take on a player, knowing you have no space, no angle, because you hogging the goddamn ball is way worse.
Starting point is 01:02:38 And you lost the game. Hey, hey, if we speak in hypotheticals, think about it. You know, when Curry got hot for USA and he had Duran and Braun to his left and they were wide open. Yeah, it's just like that. If he don't make that shot, they're gonna be talking crap like that. They're talking crap, hell, and he made it. Hey, hey, see, what you call?
Starting point is 01:02:59 And you hear Steph explaining it. He'd say, well, I gave the cabal to KD. I thought he was going to swing it to Brian. But KD gave it back to me. He's like, well, he gave it back to me. I guess he won't, he gets me, I'm supposed to do what I'm supposed to do. Hey, what else am I supposed to do? I gave it to him.
Starting point is 01:03:20 He gave it back to me. That's what A-I said. Man, I gave it to him. He gave it back to me. Clearly, he didn't want to do nothing with it. I know what to do with it. They seen the rhythm. He was in.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Okay. Y'all did, KD, you ain't want it. I got it from here. Yeah. I'm gonna let it go from 29 feet in front of a, Batoon and Fort North. Yeah, but they knew the rhythm he was in, too. They was looking for them.
Starting point is 01:03:45 They was feeding him. He had it going. He had it going. I'd have been honestly I'd have been disappointed if anybody else would have shot the ball
Starting point is 01:03:52 hold on he had Brun and Katie wide open to his left I'm talking about I'd have been you just said that man hadn't missed he hadn't missed
Starting point is 01:04:03 Joe he hadn't missed okay he missed one okay now y'all do that do what y'all do bro man that joke
Starting point is 01:04:11 man that joke that doesn't have got he shot that thing to the moon huh yes oh Joe he's he shot that thing so high, bro.
Starting point is 01:04:20 I'm like, ain't no way that's going in. Cash. Man, look here, that joke was so hot, I saw the devil on the sideline with flip-flops and a tank top. That's how hot he would. No, sir, don't you pass that ball, Steff Curry?
Starting point is 01:04:33 He was cooking. Don't you ever. No, no, no. I don't care who the greatest shooters are. If Steph Curry get hot like that, unless the whole team on him, shoot it. You remember Joey got that double knicker?
Starting point is 01:04:49 I don't know how old you were, Joe, a nickel at the guard. Yeah. And he had been shooting everything. And then they put four guys on him. He dunged, passed them all down to be a weather than it. It wetter to ducked it.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Unless there's a situation like that, shoot it, still. Damn. Shoot it. You're the greatest shoot of all time for a reason. I believe in you. I believe in you. That's why Brian, you know, they've been linked up. That's all I'm going to say.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Yeah, for sure. And you see, and you see how that thing was. how that thing was, how he was passing it behind his back, and step was that, wow, wow. And he comes down that thing, he's spinning, and he kicked the step in the corner, because you know LeBron kicked with that spin. And he'll hit that speed,
Starting point is 01:05:33 now he comes down the lane, he'll hit you with that spin, he either go lay it up, kick that thing to the corner, on shelf, Steph, they fly at him, he stepped to the side. Take that with you. Yeah, you know, at this late, in his career, he don't wanna have to deal with no damn double and triple teams no more. Man, let me go out here and play free and have fun.
Starting point is 01:05:52 But let me, what do you think that can happen that joke? Gold Estate. I've been hearing in a couple of days. France play Spain.
Starting point is 01:06:01 England plays Argentina. France, oh. France play Spain? France plays Spain? Yeah. England plays Argentina. Who?
Starting point is 01:06:12 Oh, so who you got? France and Spain? France, what? I ain't betting against them. Man, Spain, barely getting by. Marino keeps saving them every game.
Starting point is 01:06:22 The last two games, Marino's saving them late. Yep. The France-Spain game is in Jerry's World. The England-Argentina game is in Mercedes-Benz. Ooh, Jerry World going to be lit. And they'll be off the chain. Yeah. Hey, when y'all get here?
Starting point is 01:06:40 Thursday. Oh, so, I mean, I can leave New York and go to, and go to Atlanta. Probably go to. Or maybe Atlanta. Argentina, England. No, that's, I don't know. That thing, I'd rather see, I'd rather see him bopsies.
Starting point is 01:06:57 with him. You got that kind of beef. You got that kind of backed up beef with Messi. No, no, no. No, you know, I love Messi. I know I know I play around about him and Frasiano. But France is exciting to watch. France is like watching the Harlem Globe Charter Joe.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Oh, yeah. Nah, they tell. You know what I mean? They plan, they're playing serious because it's the World Cup. But some of the players play like it, the goddamn, the goddamn Harlem Globe It's just exciting to watch. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Yeah. So France, Spain, Jerry's World, England, Argentina, ATL, the winner. They advanced to, what is it, MetLife now? I think it's called MetLife. Where is that in Jersey? Jersey, yeah. When to take all, Joe. Winnie take all.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Coming down to the wild. Argentina defeated Switzerland, 3-1, an extra time to clinch a semifinal match against England. Switzerland was forced to play with 10 men beginning the 72nd minute as Brio Ebola, already on a yellow card was given another after a review stimulation, diving, flopping. Damn, oh, Cho, see, they got it, Joe. Hey, they got to stop doing that, you got to stop doing that. The Argentina player, right, and got a yellow card.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Because dude simulated in real time looked like the dude he tripped him. but he fell, he flopped, trying to get him on the yellow card. It worked. Man, they went to VAR and saw that dude didn't touch him and knowing he's already on a yellow card. You can't do that. If you already got a yellow card,
Starting point is 01:08:41 if you ain't got no card, try your look, press you look. Hey, it's been Oscar. The yellow goes back to him, and he's already on a yellow, so now you've got to go out. You're right in here bulljabber. Just play the game.
Starting point is 01:08:52 It's been Oscar worthy, flopping in this World Cup. I have nothing. You can't even talk about basketball, man. Oh, man, Shay this, she did, say that. Man, what I witnessed is soccer in this world. Come on, okay, Ojo. Come on.
Starting point is 01:09:06 I mean, every time they got, their leg broke. I'm like, man, they got air. Well, here come to the ambulance, and them just going to the other end, and they still, they still on the ground, Joe. The play still going on. That joke is rolling. Oh, hey. I'm like, man, get up.
Starting point is 01:09:21 Oh, ooh, ooh. And as soon as they get the ball come back the other way, he pop up and get in on the action. Ain't them joke with time. Boy, they try to get, they think they slick. I don't cut on to their game now, though. I told you, Joe,
Starting point is 01:09:34 it ain't nothing but a tactical time out. Oh, yeah, they're trying to get a little rest. That's it. Hey, sometimes them boys get kicked and stepped on, though, but that jump, you heard, boy. Julian Alvarez scored an absolute stunter to take the two-one lead. Martinez scored with seconds left to ceiling at 3-1. Argentina is the first nation to reach the tournament semifinals
Starting point is 01:09:55 without facing a single team rank in the FIFA top 15. Oh, they do with everything they can to make sure messy get back to that thing. Andy, Jocho. Hey, I don't listen. I'm not one to say that I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but again, group stage, it was easy for them. Everyone they faced, round of 32, round of 16. The quarter.
Starting point is 01:10:16 But I don't want to say it's easy, but I mean, I mean, they haven't had a challenge just yet. Now, they've been, now easy. against, who was that? Morocco. Morocco. No, Egypt. Egypt. Egypt was really close. If anything, that game should have been 3-3, going into extra time, maybe P-Ks.
Starting point is 01:10:38 But, yeah, I'm not going to say nothing. I'm not hating on messy. Are you scared of him? Because you know he's going to prove you wrong. I mean, he's been proving the world wrong, Joe. I mean, since, man, shoot, who knows how long. I don't doubt him at all. I don't doubt him at all.
Starting point is 01:11:00 You should doubt it. Why? Because he's going home. Damn, what message did is you? Because you was all for message the past two weeks. I won't message to score, but I don't want them to win. Hey, hey. Okay, Ocho, they've been playing the World Cup almost.
Starting point is 01:11:20 So this is the 96th year. They played the World Cup. Yes. Argentina is the first team in 96 years to get to the semis without playing one team ranked in the top 15. Man. 96 years. So almost a century. Hmm.
Starting point is 01:11:41 There's no conspiracy theory. Hello. But it's facts. I'm just saying it all I'm saying, in 96 years, they're the first team to get as far as they've gotten. without playing a team ranked in the FIFA top 15. Yeah, that's crazy. Oh, yeah. I know, man.
Starting point is 01:12:02 And I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I see like, what you call it? Everybody started rooting against Arjituta. Say, man, they try to do everything they can to get Arjitita to the jet life. Hey, because you know how it is once you, when you start winning too damn much, okay, Ocho. You know how, you know how it is. They want you to lose. Bad, but I, eh. Uh, Columbia and Menfield.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Midfielder, Hamenton Campes, did not return home following the nation's World Cup exit. He refused to fly home after getting death threats over the World Cup's miss. And concerns for Campas safety comes 32 years after Columbia defender, Andreas Escobar, was murdered days after scoring an own goal in the 1994 World Cup that helped seals Columbia's elimination. Oh, they take that stuff serious. Oh, yeah. Oh, they take that serious.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Wow. There are certain countries that don't play. They don't play. This Columbia is one of them. Yes. They joke they take their soccer, very serious. That's why I said, the kind of pressure that's on you, forget represent the team, forget, you know,
Starting point is 01:13:19 represent just the fans. When you have a whole country that's backing you and relying on you to pull through, especially when money's on the line, because you know they, you know, they betting heavy. Oh, yeah, for sure. No, you know that. Because why would you be upset?
Starting point is 01:13:35 Why would you be that upset? We have to send death threats. Yeah. People that's responsible, that problem was responsible for this, they probably bet some big bucks. I'm talking about big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big. Damn, but that's going to cost me my life?
Starting point is 01:13:49 Hell yeah. What? No, it happened. It happened in, what year was that? 94. They kill Escobar for our own goal. Wow. Joe, they had, they, I mean.
Starting point is 01:14:01 Damn. Damn. They don't play, boy. So I'm going to go with Boppe. Let's go, France. You can't be flip-flopper. You were just going for Argentina. And that's why they're going to win, Ojo.
Starting point is 01:14:22 Viva, France. That's why they're going to win, because he don't flip-flop don't. Man. What's up, fam? It's sports journalists. Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up, y'all?
