win a playoff game this year, and they did it with a rookie quarterback. Jayden Daniels was great when he needed to be, and we've seen this over and they did it with a rookie quarterback jane daniel was great when he needed to be and we've seen this over and over again they beat the eagles they beat the cowboys they won so many games in the waning minutes because the boys that this young man displays he's never flustered he's never he's never sped up uh yeah he's gonna make some a few mistakes because he's a young quarterback but when he absolutely has to be at his best Ocho he absolutely is and they go on the road and get it done thanks to a Zane Gonzalez field goal that boink doinks off the upright and if you notice

that's why they put him on the left hash because they know he's a push kicker if he's in the middle of the field that's going wide Ocho they put it on the left hatch he pushes it it clips the upright and it goes in and they win 23-20 uh Baker Mayfield was 15 to 18 uh 185 yards two touchdowns they ran the ball 25 times for 101 yards so they average 100 uh four yards of carry but that's not a lot of plays, Ocho. They only had 44 total plays to 69 for the commanders. Time of possession was about

34 to 25. But the Washington commanders go on the road, get it done. I know they're excited about that. Washington is better when Washington, excuse me, the NFL is better. With some of these old guards, Ocho, they hadn't been in the playoffs in a long time. And when they were there, they didn't do a whole lot.

But Washington go on the road, get it done. Thanks to Jayden Daniels and the outstanding rookie quarterback for the Commanders. Ochoa, watching this game, tell me what were your thoughts? Man, listen, it was a good game. It was a good game. It was kind of slow. It was the deepest of the game, most of slow. It was the deepest of the game, most of it.

It was the deepest of the game. A lot of penalties, a lot of penalties, a lot of third and longs. Kept them from being a high-scoring game, putting themselves in somewhat of a deficit, you know, and not having manageable third downs. I enjoyed the matchup between Lattimore and Mike Evans. It wasn't the same, obviously. Mike was cooking him.

Mike got him. Mike got him. Mike had the best of him. It got so bad that Lattimore was trying to hip drop tackle him. You see him on every play? On every tackle, the man tried to hip drop the cover on, man. Yeah. On every tackle the man tried to hit, got the cover on, man.

Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, it was a good game. Obviously, it cost him. Like, I thought Dan Quinn was going to cost him the game. What, going for it on fourth down? Listen, he kept leaving points on the field. I said, listen, I'm hoping, I'm hoping they'll come back and bite him in the ass now.

Dan Campbell, Dan Quinn. I mean, you know, sometimes we got confused tonight. Hey, everybody with Dan, they got cojones. The gambles paid off because the third time he went forward on four down, they scored to McLaurin. He hit McLaurin in the back of the end zone

on a dig route. So, obviously it paid off for Dan Quinn. He gambled. Listen, I'm happy for Jaden Daniels. I'm happy for Jaden Daniels. I'm happy for Jaden Daniels. I'm happy for the Commanders fan. It's been a very, very long time. I think maybe since 05, if I'm not mistaken, since they've made the playoffs. Nah, they made the playoffs

in the pandemic, right? Didn't they lose to somebody? What's the guy, the rookie quarterback? They won. I mean, won. Won the playoff game. But they made the playoff game. Won. You made, okay, yeah, won the playoff game 0-5, but they made the playoff with, what's the,

Heinrich, Heineke, Heineke. They won, they won the playoff with Heineke. They didn't win. As a matter of fact,

they lost to Tampa. That was Tom Brady. That was the year they won the Super Bowl. Uh-huh. Yeah. But I'm happy for them. But who,

who they got, who they got to face? Who they got to face now? Who they got to face? Who they got to face now? Who they got to face? They were the five seed. So they will place, they will, it all depends on Lions.

They go to the Lions. Oh. They face the Lions. That ain't, no, the Lions score on 30-35 a game. Oh, you got to be on your best behavior. You definitely got to be on your best behavior. You definitely got to be on your best behavior. But Ocho, there's a play like that,

the fourth down that they went for that they didn't get it. Daniel has the slide. The tight end is wide open. 87 is wide open. The slide is your first read. What I didn't understand, Ocho, why would he look back inside?

You can always come back inside, but if you don't take the slide right now, it's never going to be open. No. Because it's got to be your first read. The slide got to be your first read anyways. It is. The slide is always the first read.

Because you take slide, if slide, he's covered, I could always come back inside. Because normally I got a slide, I got a seven, and I got the McLaurin, I got somebody coming on the dagger route route running the back of the inline. I can always get back to that.

But if I don't take this right now, I'm not getting that because they're going to be on it, and he's going to end up running out of bounds. And if they don't run out of bounds, he get close, they're going to push his ass out of bounds. Push him out of bounds, yeah. And so I was surprised because he's a rookie, and most rookies always take the first read, because especially if it's there.

It's a safe throw. I don't have no complication. Slide open. Man, let me go ahead and give that thing away. And it's one yard, Ojo. That's a tub. That's a tub. He second-guessed himself.

I mean, maybe because the end flashed him, and he didn't think he had him, but he had him by more than what he thought he was because Labonte David is coming from the inside and he's the one that got it. And so that's why, as a matter of fact, you see, they run the exact same play. Tampa ran the exact same play and hit Bucky Irvin on the exact same play and get a touchdown, but they got a rub on the inside.

Yeah. They brought the motion down. They brought the motion down. They brought the motion down. They had the double team on the other side so they knew what was coming. They picked him. The backers couldn't get over. The backers couldn't get outside. Even though they didn't pick him, it was a great

play, but I just love the poise with this young... He joins Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez, and Russell Wilson as the only rookie quarterbacks to win a debut in a road playoff win. That's huge.

That is huge. Not just for him, but that city, for that organization, for all they've been through. You know, they done been through some stuff now. Yes, yes. New ownership, new ownership. Best thing that can happen. Yeah.

New ownership come in, Ocho. They get somebody that understands. They get this. Look, everybody knew they were going to take Caleb Williams. It's a very similar situation to what we had a year before. Right? Young and CJ falls in your lap. Jane Daniels fell in your lap.

You ain't take no credit. Hey, all I'm going to do, I'm going to take who you don't want. Hey, Ocho, you know, we pick your size. Whoever you, hey, whoever you don't want, I'll take them. I really don't have no choice. But I'm taking the guy that you don't want. And it worked out well for both situations. You see CJ has won two playoff games.

They've won in the division both years. And he's won two playoff games, one each year. Got a chance to go on the road this time to take on the Chiefs. But I love Jaden Daniels. Defense playing well. B-Wags is playing really, really well. I like the Dan Campbell addition. But what I love most is what they did for Jaden Daniels.

They went and got him an offensive guru. Say what you want to say about Cliff Kingsbury as a head coach, but there's no denying. his ability to call plays, his ability to work with quarterbacks. Several guys have won Heisman Trophy under his tutelage. Kyler Murray was Offensive Rookie of the Year under his tutelage. Jayden Daniels will be Offensive Rookie of the Year under his tutelage. He was the quarterback coach.

Maybe he was the offensive coordinator at texas a&m but johnny manziel yeah so there is no denying especially quarterbacks that have that kind of dual set ability ocho you know i'm saying they're unconventional i mean now we're starting to see more of it guys that can run and throw the football. But Cliff Kingsbury, like I said, you can say what you want to say about him as a head coach, but there's no denying his offensive mindset and his ability to work with the quarterback. Would I be surprised if he's in Chicago next year?

I would not be surprised, though, Joe. Wait a minute. In Chicago as a quarterback coach or maybe offensive coordinator? As a quarterback coach or maybe an offensive coordinator? I mean, Ben Johnson Ben Johnson could get that job, but Ben Johnson's going to probably be the most... The only job that Ben Johnson

wasn't going to get was the Patriots. And that's why A.G. If you notice, A.G. didn't go up. Man, look here. Y'all ain't ready to try me out there letting no horse and pony show. I already know where y'all want to go. I'm not going to be away from my family i'm not going to be away from doing game plan nah bro that ain't happening hey y'all already got your situation ironed out congratulations i really appreciate that but i'm gonna go where there's a

realistic chance for me to interview and get said job but uh yeah, Ben Johnson to be off. Ben Johnson, look, Tom Brady, I'm sure Tom Brady loves Ben Johnson with the Raiders. No, no, no. You don't got nothing to work with, huh? You don't have nothing to work with. I understand. I like the Bears.

I love the Bears, too. I think the Bears is the best job available given what they got offensively. A quarterback, receivers, running back. Hey, get an offensive line. Plug the offensive line in here or there. Yes, I agree with you. I'm not disagreeing. But somebody that has a quarterback, a young quarterback,

or somebody that's going to draft a quarterback, they're probably going to want a Cliff Kingsbury working with him. Yeah. Yeah, most definitely. Most definitely. Most definitely. I like it. I like it. I like it.

Former LSU receivers Malik Nabors, Brian Thomas Jr. were in attendance supporting their former quarterback, Jaden Daniels. I like that. You don't see that. I mean, you see it a lot more in basketball, Ocho, where guys show up and support the guys, you know, stuff like that. But I love to see this. It just goes to show you

that this is a very close team. You remember Ocho, earlier in the year, Malik Neighbors and Jayden Daniels had a bet. NFL kind of made them say, you know, we got a little bet going on. We're going to be rookie of the year, blah, blah, blah. They should have just kept it hush.

Jayden Daniels was going to win, but Malik Neighbors had a phenomenal season. Even when you have a phenomenal season, when you get the quarterback and his team makes the playoffs, it's going to be really, really hard for you to upstage him. What did Nabors have? 106, 108 catches, over 1,100 yards, six, seven touchdowns. Had a phenomenal season.

With no consistency at the quarterback position that day. But Jane Daniels, as a true rookie playing the most important position in pro sports, take this team, and we think about it. They had the number two pick in the draft. So that lets you know they weren't very good. Gosh. But they get that one guy.

That's all you need. And he flipped it, Ocho. He flipped it. Ocho, the Eagles defeated the Packers, 22-10. Saquon Barkley rushed for 119 yards. The Eagles defense picked up Jordan Love three times. I don't get why Saquon's slinging. I mean, I mean, Saquon. He's trying.

He's being a team guy. He's being a team guy. Man, listen, man. Ocho, there was no chance. Ocho, even if you score a touchdown, if you scored a touchdown, so now you're about to make it 29-10. How are they going to come back and score 20 points in a minute? I get it, Ocho, if it's a one, if it's a, let's just say you up by one.

I get it. Ocho, you already up by 12. You score, you hit your head on the goal post. That's a 200-yard rush day. There haven't been very many 200-yard rush days in NFL postseason history. Somebody in his ear. Somebody on the side.

Shut the hell up. You ain't got to tell me because I said the same thing. I said, why are you sliding in a moment like that? What did Brady say? I'm sure Brady had something. Did Brady say that was good or what? Anybody know what Brady said? Yeah, I couldn't hear the commentary.

I didn't hear the commentary. Well, I never heard the commentary. So that's why I'd have been interested. I get, look here, Ocho, in certain circumstances, I get it. Our one score, let's just say you up by one point you scored there's a chance they get a two-point conversion and tie them i get that then not in this situation not in this one that's why i said somebody somebody was in his ear somebody on the sideline

probably told him before if you get we get the opportunity if you get a chance if you break one open let's go down oh let's not say brady said he didn't understand. Brady said there was no reason to slide. Okay. Brady said he wouldn't. Oh, okay. Brady said he wouldn't have been so generous. Hell no. Ocho, I'm up by 12 points with a minute to go,

and I'm about to hit. Let's just say, Ochocho I got 125 yards that right there gonna give me 75 yards that's gonna give me a touchdown 200 yards boy I'm going to the house I ain't gonna hold y'all I'm going to the house I don't I don't know what he was doing in a sense it it makes me think not only his decision well yes his decision because he could have said he wanted to play or not. The decision not to go after that record last week, which would have cemented his

legacy in the history books. And then you come this week, you have a clear touchdown. A clear touchdown. You're already up by two scores. Why not just go score? I mean, somebody in his ear got him. Listen, they got my dog brainwashed. They got him over-thinkin'. He thinkin' too much. Listen, they got my dog brainwashed.

They got him overthinking. He's thinking too much. Yeah, they got my dog brainwashed. They got him overthinking. I'm analyzing every little thing. Just play football. Just have fun. Enjoy the game.

Because you're not going to get these opportunities very often. And it goes really fast. It goes really fast. So, I mean, it is what it is. I hope everything continues to work out for Saquon and that Eagles team. They look good today. They look good today. They look good today, but they're not, to me, they're not scoring enough points, man.

They're not scoring enough points. They're not efficient throwing the ball as well. They're not using A.J. Brown. Yeah, yeah. I thought it was just me, Ojo. That's going to catch up. That's going to catch up to them. Whether it's the Green Bay Packers having the injuries that they had

or Jordan Love not being able to get that motor running and finding some type of chemistry with his team offensively, they lucky. Is it me or did Jalen Hurts? Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just too critical. But Jalen Hurts did not look good at least the first three and a half quarters, Ocho. Maybe it's just me, though. Did you notice anything? I'm just too critical. But Jalen Hurts did not look good at least the first three and a half quarters on Joe.

Maybe it's just me, though. Did you notice anything? He looked timid. They were running. I'm like, bro, Jalen, what are you doing? Run. Go do something. Listen, I didn't really notice anything. I think when I think about Jalen Hurts, I think he does everything within the realm of what he does good.

He doesn't try to do anything extra. So I just saw Jalen do what he normally does. If it's there, he throws. If it's not there, he's checking it down. If he doesn't see it, he pulls it. He goes through his read. He goes through his progression. If it's not there, he takes off and runs.

If it's a run play, he rarely checks out of those. So I just saw him do exactly what he normally does. I just don't like the play call into a sense. You're going to run as a team. They're going to stop the run. You got to be good with the pass. You got to be throwing the ball. It has to be a short game, a quick game, whatever you need to do.

You got to get A.J. Brown involved, man. I think we were well into, what, maybe halftime. He had one target. What the hell are you doing? He had three targets. He had one catch. They ran a little they'll fake

whatever they call that push play and they faked it and they tried to hit AJ and he overshot him but I thought he was hurt I said well maybe

he's hurt maybe they don't want to rush it back or anything like that but I was very surprised at how poorly he was playing early on in this

ball game got off to a great start because they kicked the ball off. The special teams do a great job of taking the ball, and they go in and get a touchdown. Like, okay, you can't get a better start than what you got right here because you took the ball away from them, and they didn't even get an offense, didn't get a chance to possess it. And now knowing you coming out of the half, you're going to get the ball.
