So I have to take a break from all the jokes here for just a second and put my serious voice on because I would never ever joke about a 5G network that has invested billions in building 5G towers across the country. Not even once. Not even if Mr. Boost Mobile himself asked me to. There's nothing funny about it. Boost Mobile is now a legit nationwide 5G network and also provides coverage across 99% of America. Starting point is 00:03:55 5G speed not available in all areas. The Chiefs may be forced to release Travis Kelsey this offseason due to an almost $20 million cap in. This would be the highest cap airport tied in in the entire league, given that Kelsey at times struggled this year to get open and to create separation. Ocho, is this the end of Travis Kelsey, who I believe is the GOAT and his relationship with the Chiefs? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. Obviously, you know, Patrick Mahomes,
Starting point is 00:04:34 you know, Kelsey, and all other players that are part of that team that are going to be there next year, not those that are on a one-year deal. Travis Kelsey is a team player. He's a team player, and he's making so much money off the field, he's not going to have a problem much money off the field he's not going to have a problem taking a pay cut he's not going to have a problem doing that because he's going to make up
Starting point is 00:04:50 for whatever he doesn't get off the field because he has so much going on listen this is the same situation with Tom Brady who was Tom Brady dating when he was taking pay cuts in the winning to make sure they kept the team around him yeah but he ain't married Dayton when he was taking pay cuts in the winning to make sure they kept the team around him.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Yeah, but he ain't married to Taylor yet. He might as well go and propose then if he wants that time. Trust me, he good. Trust me, he good. He's dating a billionaire. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I think he has no worries.
Starting point is 00:05:24 He has so many endeavors going on off the field. I have no problem. I'm a team player. I'm a team player. To come back, to keep the band together, to be able to get some other key off-season acquisitions, I have no problem doing that. And coming back and giving this thing another go.
Starting point is 00:05:42 He can do that. So he's not one that's hurting. So he'll be fine. I can see him going to Hollywood. He has that look. He has that swag. I can see him parlaying what he's been able to do in football, on the field, and parlaying that off the field.
Starting point is 00:06:01 He has that. The question is, Ocho, as you get older, Travis is flying all over the place. He wants to be with the lady, a love of his life. He's going to have to make a decision how important is football to him. You can't go out like this. This can't be the last taste. This can't be the last taste in your mouth.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Not a game like this. Not like that. Oh, Joe. The thing is about sports. It's funny how sports work. Because everybody's like, you can't go out like that. And then you come back and it's worse this last time. You're like, well, I can't go out and it just keeps getting worse. There's no guarantee. It's not a situation where you get
Starting point is 00:06:39 like a John Elway. I win a championship. Super Bowl MVP. I'm done. Or Michael Strahan. They take down the Giants. I'm excusing. The Giants take down the Patriots. And I do doubt. The bus. The Super Bowl is in Detroit.
Starting point is 00:06:56 He's from Detroit. The bus stops here. So, it's not always like that. We don't always get that Hollywood ending. Although we always get that Hollywood ending, although we might want that Hollywood ending. The question is, is that I think he's going to have to sit down and ask himself,
Starting point is 00:07:13 how much more do I want to give? What do I have? Because let me ask you a question. He comes back. What can he do? That's going to change the perception of what you think of Travis Kelsey. I'll be personally. I think he's to go. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not sure what he, what's going to change the perception of what you think of Travis Kelsey? I mean, personally, I think he's the go-to.
Starting point is 00:07:26 I'm not sure what's going to change. I just know and understand the chemistry and continuity that him and Patrick Mahomes have. Patrick Mahomes having that security blanket, obviously, when they bolster and get that offensive line together, I think things will be a little bit more easy for
Starting point is 00:07:41 him. The chemistry and the continuity always between the crew, Noah Gray, Xavier Worthy is going to be back. I'm not sure about Hollywood. I'm not sure about Hollywood Brown and DeAndre Hopkins, but whatever other pieces they bring into that table. And I,
Starting point is 00:07:56 I know that game left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, including Travis Kelsey. And I definitely believe he's not going to want to go out like that. And not, I believe it's one thing to want to go out like that. And not I believe it's one thing to lose but but bail to
Starting point is 00:08:09 to A-double-S that's not what they want. I'm not going to curse him. I believe they're going to have to for him to come back to Ocho. He's going to have to take a pay cut.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Oh yeah. I don't think he'll have a problem with that. He ain't going to have no problem doing that. He ain't going to have no problem doing that. You say that.
Starting point is 00:08:23 We say that because it's not our money. Listen, and just understanding how much he has going on, understanding the individuality. Listen, if this comes out, Taylor Swift looks like the type of woman. Anyway, oh, baby, they want you to take a pay cut? So from $20 million to $10, you know what?
Starting point is 00:08:41 Here you go with the $10 they're going to take from you. She look like that type. Just cut your $10 million check right there on the spot. That's just me. You know, God loves the cheerful giver. Eagles pinned their
Starting point is 00:08:58 ears back. They got out the Patrick Mahomes, forced a couple turnovers, forced three turnovers, a pick six, an interception right before the half, and that was the difference in the ball game. What did you like about what you saw from the Eagles in this dominating victory? Don't let the score fool you.
Starting point is 00:09:14 40-22, no, no, no, no. Especially in the Super Bowl, most of the time, it's one up front. It's one up front. It's one in the trenches. That's where everything starts at. The Eagles defense. Vangel didn't have to do any blitzing.
Starting point is 00:09:30 He didn't have to do anything exotic except line up and rush the pass because the front four got the job done all night. I'm not sure what the center was doing. I'm not sure what the right tackle and the left tackle were doing all night for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:09:44 They played... you know what, I'm not going to talk about them. I'm going to credit the Eagles' defense. The defense played phenomenal football. They tried to roll out. If you notice, Unc, not too many times, the Packers were home just drop back.
Starting point is 00:09:56 You notice how they rolled them to the left a little bit, rolled them to the right a little bit, to kind of reset their pocket a little bit, to give the offensive line a little help. With Jalen Carter, you know, trying to nullify him a little bit, get him to offensive line a little help, where Jalen Carter, you know, trying to nullify him a little bit, get him to reset his feet and have to start all the way back over,
Starting point is 00:10:09 as opposed to just coming up field and bull rushing, they couldn't get nothing done. They couldn't, they weren't able to run the ball. Obviously, they made him one dimensional, which is why the game turned out the way it did. Now, on the flip side of the ball, the Chiefs did a great job. The Chiefs did a great job. The Chiefs did a great job
Starting point is 00:10:25 in nullifying the run and not allowing Saquon Barkley to hit his head off the goal post and being efficient in the run game, but they weren't able to stop the pass. Jalen Hurts, very good in the pass. I think, if I'm not mistaken, this might be one of the few games we threw for over 200 yards where they didn't have more
Starting point is 00:10:41 rushing yards and they actually won the goddamn game. The defense gave them a very good field position, Ocho. And when you look at it, the problem was that, yeah, they did a great job as a team, but they couldn't get off the field on third down. Your job is not complete until you get off the field on third down. Now you have them on third down. Trent McGuffey, what did he do, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:11:04 He got a unnecessary penalty. Now you have them on third down. Trent McGuffey, what did he do, Ocho? He got an unnecessary penalty. Now they go and get a touchdown. You gotta be smart. You can't put yourself in situations like that. Give the Eagles and see the thing with the Kansas City. They ran into the same thing, and I tweeted it earlier. This game has the exact feel of the Chiefs Tampa.
Starting point is 00:11:20 The Chiefs couldn't run the football. Okay? The book says we know y'all not gonna run the football. Guess what The Bucs says, we know y'all not going to run the football. Guess what? They play shell coverage. Cover two. Well, you're not going to run the football. You've got to, if a team is playing, you've got to run them out of it.
Starting point is 00:11:36 They got small guys, they got to play 4-2-5. You've got to run them up out of it. And when their inability to try to even attempt to run, now big fan Joe says, okay. Most definitely. I thought the game would have been a lot better. I thought it would have been a lot better, obviously, with the creativity
Starting point is 00:11:52 and how special Mahomes is, but Mahomes was never able to be poised. He was never able to gain composure and be comfortable in the pocket. The entire night, they had him running for his life, even with the tricks that they tried to do and getting him out the parlor, rolling him out a little bit.
Starting point is 00:12:08 But what it did, it made him one-dimensional, especially with one side of the field. That's how the first interception happened. Because he lost vision of, how you say the last name? I don't want to butcher it. He lost vision of where he was at. Because he was rolling that way.
Starting point is 00:12:23 And obviously, when you're rolling that way, you're not staring at that side. You're staring at what's coming towards you to where you're going to throw the ball. Didn't even see him coming. And the second he goes the other way. The other way. The game was a very good game
Starting point is 00:12:36 from all three phases for the Chiefs. Offensive, defensive, obviously the special teams as well, not giving up any big plays. There was some garbage time work from Mahomes and Worthy that really didn't affect the game in any way.
Starting point is 00:12:53 But congratulations to the Eagles. And I think, I'm going to tell you why the Eagles won. The good luck kiss I gave Sirianni before the game started, at the media day that's what it was that's what it was
Starting point is 00:13:07 Ocho normally what happens if you go back and study study playoffs when you get into the game
Starting point is 00:13:19 and you lose whatever your weakness was it gets exacerbated what was the easiest for the most part of the year pass protection pass protection Whatever your weakness was, it gets exacerbated. What was the easiest problem for the most part of the year? Pass protection.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Now, we got an opportunity to see it. The same thing they lost. Now, the last time they lost to Super Bowl, they lost to the Buccaneers. They went out and signed Joe Tooney. Now, if I'm the Chiefs, I'm going to go get Trent Williams. I will overpay for it because I've got to get a left tackle. I've got to put Joe Tooney back at left guard. I've got to do that.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Because it does not matter how great you are. If you look at this game, look at what the Eagles did and who they did it to. This is one of the most dominating performances that you're going to see. Yes, there have been other games. You go back and look at the 85 Bears. That was Tony Eason. You look at what we did.
Starting point is 00:14:14 That was Kerry Collins. But when you look at what they did to a historically and generational and a transcendent quarterback, this is one of the most dominating performances that you're going to see. Kind of what the Seahawks did to Peyton
Starting point is 00:14:27 Madden. Kind of like what the Bucks did to Patrick Mahomes. They dominated it. I mean, it wasn't close yet. You're going to look at like 40-22. But at one point in time, the game was 40-6. The game was 40-6. And for all intents and purposes, the game was over
Starting point is 00:14:44 at 24-0 at the half. Because the people were like, well, you're so crazy. That wasn't that goddamn... The difference was out there. That happened. No. Bro, one team had like 11 plays. The other team had 12 first downs.
Starting point is 00:14:59 So I didn't see any semblance that there was something that they could do. You see them come out and try to run the football, they ran the play, and then guess what? They go right back and throw it. I think Tom Brady called it out. They hadn't gotten the first down. I think if I might be wrong, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but they didn't get a first down until damn near, oh, they didn't pass the 50-yard
Starting point is 00:15:18 line, huh? The 50-yard line. Was it the whole first half? I'm like, what the is going on? Yeah. Yeah, it was, I mean, you got to give the Eagles credit. Mahomes didn't play well.
Starting point is 00:15:33 It wasn't that he didn't play well on his own. The Eagles have a lot to do with that. That front four was relentless. That front four was relentless. Give credit to Sweat. Give credit to Smith. Give credit to Jalen Carter. give credit to Sweat give credit to Smith give credit to Jalen Carter give credit to Williams
Starting point is 00:15:49 give credit to those guys Jordan Davis they did an unbelievable job of doing what they were supposed to do our job and guess what even when he was able to escape they chased him down
Starting point is 00:16:01 they didn't give up they were relentless in their pressure and they earned this victory now I don't know if y'all noticed but hey
Starting point is 00:16:09 they built the last hold on look at what they got they built the last they got they got they got Hurts on an easy contract
Starting point is 00:16:18 they got their two wide receivers they got them sold up now you're gonna have to do something with Braun you're gonna have to make a decision you're gonna cost a little bit of money. He was special.
Starting point is 00:16:27 He was special all season long for them. You have to bring him back. All pro. And he was a defensive player of the year candidate. So, Ochoa, you got Saquon tied up. Your offense is tied up. You got Lane Johnson locked up. You got Maia Lata locked up. You got Lane Johnson locked up. You got Maia Lott locked up.
Starting point is 00:16:46 You got Dickerson locked up. Your center, if it was going to be in the second year, he's a rookie contract. But look at the age, though. Look at the age. If you look at the landscape of the team on both sides of the ball, almost everybody's young. You obviously have a few veterans that are up in it,
Starting point is 00:17:00 but the majority of the team is young. This team is going to be together for a while. And then you have to think, you still got the draft. And then you still have off-season acquisitions that Jeffrey Lurie, the high rolesmen are going to make to even better the squad. The question is, there's a guy out there that says he wants to be traded. Oh, they're not going to be able to fit it. You can't go and pay nobody else.
Starting point is 00:17:28 Just say it. Hold on. Stay with me real quick now. Look what they were able to do. If I'm a GM, if I'm a high-end host, if I'm Jeffrey Lurie, look what they were able to do with the front four they have right now,
Starting point is 00:17:40 the young bulls. You know? Do you really want to, do you really need, based on what you saw tonight against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas young bulls, you know? Okay. Do you really want to, do you really need? Yes. Based on what you saw tonight against Paschal Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, do you really need to bring in the miles, Garrett? I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold,
Starting point is 00:19:16 connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the sports collide, and hear how leaders like Angeli are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
Starting point is 00:20:17 No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago,
Starting point is 00:20:41 but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly
Starting point is 00:21:14 and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life
Starting point is 00:21:52 through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of all I've found. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. I uh you gotta keep you but hey you can't stand pat now they're gonna look I'm looking to improve now you're probably gonna probably it's gonna probably be too much to give it up but to give
Starting point is 00:22:36 up to get in and like you said and right now for the next week I'm not even thinking about that I'm gonna enjoy this if I'm Jeffrey Lurie and High Rose, if I'm Jeffrey, I'm saying, Howard, don't bring me any ideas. I don't want to hear ish. I want to enjoy this. If I'm Nick Seriani, Howard, don't tell I. You're going to lose your offensive coordinator. It looks like Kellen Moore has the job,
Starting point is 00:22:58 unless something unforeseen happened in the last 24, 48 hours. He has the job in New Orleans. So you're going to have to find a new play caller. But the fact of the matter is that what they have, they're very good, well-coached team. Sarayani, when you showed up with that sweatsuit,
Starting point is 00:23:20 told me that you didn't think you were going to get the job, but you got the job, you proved me your worth. I was wrong about you. You got to the Super Bowl. You lose your coordinators, and everybody's down and out on you. But you know what? You go back and you get Vic Fangio, and that defense was outstanding. Kellen Moore did a great job of calling the game,
Starting point is 00:23:42 running the football all year long with Saquon Barkley. Jalen Hurts doing what he needed to do in order to, hey, okay, I'm throwing for 121. I'm throwing for 148. Now in this ballgame, y'all give me a lot of single high coverage. I'm going to make these throws. And then when the coverage got tight, yeah, he started picking them up and putting them down.
Starting point is 00:24:04 So now that's the problem that you're up against when you got these mobile quarterbacks oh joe you run past them they jump out the window in the hotel and all you do is look in the taillight uh this was a dominating performance the eagles fans rejoice uh jayla uh did jayla hurts win the mvp who won mvp whether the defensive player was a sweat i? It should have been Hurst. It was going to be somebody on the defensive side of the ball. The whole goddamn defense should have got it. The whole front line.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Yeah, I was going to say, yeah. Oh, Hurst just won it, Ocho. He just won it. Yeah. But it was an outstanding performance of what we saw today. They dominated this ball game. When I looked at this ball game, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:24:51 and we talked about it Thursday night, the Eagles have the better team. If you look at it, player for player, it's not even close. It's not even close. Maybe the only position, the only position is quarterback where you can say they got a better play.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Other than that, you look at wide receivers. Look at the running back. You look at the offensive line. Okay, Chris Jones and Jalen Carter, that's a push. Look at the linebacker, Zach Brown. Boom. Okay, maybe McDuffie and Mitchell. Maybe McDuffie's slightly better.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Maybe that's a push. But if you look at the other position, so if you look at a starting 22, with the exception of maybe one or two positions, in this case, most of the time, if the offensive line didn't play so bad, if they didn't play so bad, Patrick Mahomes' decision-making wouldn't have been as bad as it was. They made him very, very, very... He started taking risks.
Starting point is 00:25:49 From the beginning of the game. So when you talk about which team is better, Patrick Mahomes has been so good since he's been in the league. Regards to how good the personnel is on both sides of the ball for the goddamn Eagles, Patrick Mahomes, most of the time,
Starting point is 00:26:06 has always been good enough to overcome that. He's been good enough to overcome the weaknesses that they have offensively. But tonight, uh-uh. Kendrick Lamar, Drake Lawsuit, references Drake Lawsuit during the halftime show. Kendrick, boy, he petty. That joker brought out, he brought out Serena. You saw Serena out there, Chris? Serena, should we get out? Yeah, okay, okay, boy, he petty. That joker brought out Serena. You saw Serena at that crib walk?
Starting point is 00:26:25 Serena, should we do that? In Compton. Yeah, okay, okay, okay, okay. No. Serena and Drake used to date. Yeah, I understand that part. Remember, Serena grew up in Compton now a little bit. She was that.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Yeah. I remember she crib walked after she won a match. I forgot what year that was. Wimbledon. Wimbledon. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, Joe, rate the halftime show on a scale of one to ten. Oh, it was a match. I forgot what year that was. Wimbledon. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ocho, rate the halftime show on a scale of one to ten.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Oh, it was a ten. It was a ten. I ain't going that high, Ocho. Huh? I ain't going that high. No? I mean, listen, if you understand
Starting point is 00:26:59 if you understand how everything came about and how a song that is not even really a song, it's not even a song. It's a diss track. Yes. And you're performing it at the Super Bowl. Man, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:14 He got everything out of that orange. How do you not? He got everything out of that orange. Yeah. Yeah. All the juice. Agent Inside used the zest, the peel for zest. Yeah. Yeah. All the juice. Everything. Agent Inside used the zest,
Starting point is 00:27:27 the pill for zest. Right. Yeah, he squeezed, he got everything out of that one. Yeah. He got everything out of that one.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Hey, I have a question. I have a question for you. Yeah. No, anyway, I mean, I know we talk about Super Bowl performance, obviously what it was rated, but I think at some point
Starting point is 00:27:42 the feud that these two were having, Drake is still a big enough artist to be able to withstand this and come back. Yeah, for sure he can. Yeah, most definitely.
Starting point is 00:27:54 That's a no-brainer. Even with that being said Drake is still the big artist. Drake still does more money. Drake just did a billion streams. The fastest to do a billion streams or something. Drake is Drake. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:07 He got involved into a contest that he probably is not good at. Probably should have just left well enough alone. Oh, this is the thing. You talk about a battle and a contest that there have been many that he would probably beat. There would be many contests that he would probably win. But this was the boogeyman. This was the boogeyman in that instance
Starting point is 00:28:28 when it comes to going back and forth. Ocho. Yeah. If he wins, what does he get out of winning? Drake, he's the biggest rapper. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:38 But he can get a lot out of losing. Just let it go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you go back and look at it, Nas beat Jay-Z. Jay. Just let it go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you go back and look at it, Nas beat Jay-Z. Jay-Z let it go. Look at what Jay-Z did.
Starting point is 00:28:50 That's right, that's right, that's right, that's right. That's right. At some point in time, what Master P, who was that? Hold on, tell me. Master P and Gilly.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I sat down with Gilly. And I said, bro, as a matter of fact, you're the second person in 48 hours to sell me. He said, boy, sometimes they'll trick you
Starting point is 00:29:09 out of your position. Drake tried long but let the man trick him out of his position. That way, let it go. For what? Okay,
Starting point is 00:29:19 you got me. Yeah. I'll let you know. Let me go on and put pen to pad. Come on with some old hits. Boom. It's when you go back and forth. Now, you allow
Starting point is 00:29:31 your listeners' ears to hear that and go back and forth. Ooh, ooh, ooh. Yeah, ooh, Dre. Damn. You probably should have left that one alone, cuz. Hey, Ocho, it's kind of like boxing. Somebody gonna get you.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I ain't saying you might not lose, but somebody gonna get some licks on you. Yeah. What's funny about it is this is the first time you've ever seen someone actually get these kind of licks on someone this big. Someone that big either two.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Right. So, I don't know. I don't know. I don't really... But see, and what made it, now you suing and all that, that's what people look at like, bro, it's a diss track. It ain't that serious. Yeah, I think there's some stuff. Well, the machine and they
Starting point is 00:30:21 you know, I mean, you allowed him to say these derogatory and brought my character, blah, blah, blah. Well, y'all was going back and forth. Yeah. They must be. So I'm not into it. I'm not invested into it that much. I'm just on the house.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Hell no. Ocho, the Jets have informed Aaron Rodgers. They'll be moving on from him. When I was in the Jay Glazer. Wow. Rodgers flew back to New Jersey last week to meet with the Jets about the future with the team, only to be told the team would be moving on. Now, if that means he'll be a June 1 casualty or allow him to side with any team in the
Starting point is 00:30:55 league March 12th, if he decides to continue, given that Aaron Rodgers made an effort to fly back to discuss his future, all signs point to him to continue to play. It just won't be with the Jets. Ocho, Raiders need a quarterback. The Steelers could potentially need a quarterback. The Saints could potentially need a quarterback. Cleveland could potentially need a quarterback. The question is, does any of those places sound appealing,
Starting point is 00:31:23 or does Aaron Rodgers walk off into the sunset? I don't think he walks off into the sunset. The fact that he even flew back to New Jersey to take that meeting to see about his future as far as playing with the Jets concerned, it doesn't happen. Steelers, you can take that out of the equation, because what's not going to happen is you're not going to come here with the attitude that you have.
Starting point is 00:31:43 And at that organization, with Mike Tomlin, that ain't happening. And saying you're not coming to mini camp, you're not coming to training, whatever it might be, taking retreats and doing all that, saying some of the stuff you say through the media, it's not happening. What other teams did you say? You said the Saints? Saints. Steelers.
Starting point is 00:32:03 State. Steelers, no. Browns. Raiders. Raiders? Okay, Raiders. Raiders Steelers. State. Steelers. No. Browns. Raiders. Raiders. Okay. Raiders. Raiders is a good one.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Raiders is a good one. You know, he'll be back. He'll be back on his end where he's from. Not too far from where he's from. You know, Vegas is skipping a hop right away from California. Saints. I'm trying to think. Chris Olave,
Starting point is 00:32:26 Javi Kamaru. Shahid? Rashid, Shahid. I like the Saints. I like Aaron Rodgers and the Saints. Brown? Is he better than what Derek Carr? Is he better than what they have right now at Derek Carr?
Starting point is 00:32:41 I mean, you never know. You have him a year removed from his kidney injury. He got him two now. Two years removed from his kidney injury. Let me see. You said the Browns?
Starting point is 00:32:56 Yeah. I think Jerry Junior would like that. David Njoku would like that. Nick Chum would like that. I'm not sure how the fans would feel about it. Chad, what y'all think? What y'all think?
Starting point is 00:33:15 I mean, that's the only places I can think. I'm trying to rack my brain. The Broncos have their quarterback. The Chargers have their quarterback. Obviously, Mahomes in Kansas City is entrenched. You go to the North, the Ravens have their quarterback. The Bengals have their quarterback.
Starting point is 00:33:35 So maybe the Steelers, the Browns, you go to the AFC South. Right. Richardson is there. Tennessee Levis, but they have the number one pick. Are they going to take a quarterback? Richardson is there Tennessee Levis but they have the number one pick are they going to take a quarterback
Starting point is 00:33:49 so for me Ocho hold on I just think he's going to have to make a decision bro are you going to be serious about this because I don't know not showing up and mandatory means mandatory means different things.
Starting point is 00:34:07 No, mandatory doesn't mean different things to different people. Mandatory means exactly what is required. What about this? Chat, chat. Tell me what y'all think about this. He goes from New Jersey, New York, to the Big Apple, New York.
Starting point is 00:34:22 The Giants need a quarterback as well. What do you think? That's a possibility. But I'm sure they're going to be looking because here's the thing. It's only temporary. It's just like that little time. You put that little donut on, now that's not meant for you to drive
Starting point is 00:34:40 around for months and months. Yeah, it's going to get you where you need to go, though. It's going to Get your ass to the shop. Uh-oh. These two asking to join in my room. Man, give me the lights off.
Starting point is 00:34:58 You see, they done asked over here, I don't even know why a lot of come in my room. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Hmm. in here, asked you over here, I don't even know why a lot of come in my room. Oh, man. Ocho. Yeah. Lord have mercy. Wow. Jerry Jones says he's shocked the Cowboys aren't
Starting point is 00:35:17 playing in the Super Bowl. This is a shocker to not to be here, Ocho. Not to have the Cowboys here. Jerry says they was also shocked because they made Dak the highest paid player in NFL history. Had he not known that, he definitely wouldn't
Starting point is 00:35:33 have paid Dak. Blah, blah, blah. I'm just saying what the man said. Not what he said. I didn't say it. He said it. I just read what he said. Why did Jerry you know I know sometimes people say
Starting point is 00:35:51 I'm annoying you know at times and I know I can be but Jerry got me be you know I'm really not delusional with some of the things that I feel and say
Starting point is 00:36:03 I say things in a joking manner. I think Jerry truly believes this. I think he truly does. I don't think it's an act. I'm shocked that we're not... What are we talking about? Listen, I love the Cowboys.
Starting point is 00:36:23 I'll say it again. I love the Cowboys. I love the fans. I love the I love, I love the Cowboys. I'll say it again. I love the Cowboys. I love, I love the fans. I love the players that are part of the Cowboys and they just have one issue. There's one common denominator that has always been in the way on why they haven't been able to, you know,
Starting point is 00:36:35 succeed or have success in a very, very long time. Um, it, I don't, I don't know what else I can say that hasn't already been said he's shocked
Starting point is 00:36:51 yeah you're not shocked so let me ask you a question so is this the most shocked you've been since you last played in a Super Bowl or was it when you had those 10-11 Pro Bowl players were you just as shocked when you end up getting upset at home by the Giants
Starting point is 00:37:08 were you as in shock when you had Dak and y'all was 13-3 and you lost in the first round or what about last year when Green Blade blew the doors off you so I'm just trying to understand Ocho the level of shockness in which you shock is this the highest
Starting point is 00:37:24 of shocktivity I like this the highest of shocktivity? Oh, that's a good one. I like that. The highest of shocktivity. I like that. I'm just trying to figure out because who are the Cowboys? Y'all can't stop the run, Jerry. You cannot stop the run.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Y'all gave up 40 plus points to a team that only won like four games the Saints everybody just ran the ball down your throat and then your hands falls home you win a couple of games you say we ain't out of it yet
Starting point is 00:37:54 y'all was out of it you been out of it y'all delusional and unfortunately guess what the problem is now the fans see, like, I ain't finna be delusional anymore. Right. We suck.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Let those players be delusional, and they should. The players should be delusional. They should believe that they have an opportunity to win. We got to start off with the great news. Um, the 2025 pro football hall of class hall of fame class announced former Minnesota Vikings, cheese bears and Panthers defensive end, Jared Allen.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Oh, former saints, Eagles, Chiefs, Bears, and Panthers defensive end, Jared Allen. Oh. Former Saints, Eagles, Raiders cornerback, Eric Allen. Former Chargers tight end, my boy, Antonio Gates. And last but not least,
Starting point is 00:47:04 my hero, my role model, Sterling Shark. Oh, Joe. Yeah. This is a really, really small class. This is the first time,
Starting point is 00:47:14 I can't remember a time when they put so few in. Yes, sir. There are a lot of, I mean, I thought, I think people thought Eli would be a first ballot. Right.
Starting point is 00:47:23 Luke Keekly would be a first ballot. There are some guys that a lot of people thought Eli would be a first ballot. Luke Keekly would be a first ballot. There are some guys that a lot of people thought. It seems like to me the committee went back and said, hold on. We're putting guys in, a lot of guys in the first ballot. That's supposed to be for rare, rare, rarefied air. Most definitely. I mean, guys like a Lawrence Taylor. And I was talking to some voters last night, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:47:47 why are y'all waiting to put Tom Brady in? What's the discussion? Right. Some guys are worthy of not even being discussed. Right. But a class of four, that's a rarity, Ocho. I mean, it's rare, but what you the committee has to understand is
Starting point is 00:48:04 the Hall of Fame is for an elite class of players. Yes. And then you think about some of the people that aren't getting in. They didn't play long enough. Their resume isn't what it should be. And if you look at the landscape of what's been going in, sometimes they don't really meet the requirements. Yeah. You know, it more so looks like who you know.
Starting point is 00:48:24 And based on relationships, some people getting in ain't supposed to be there. It seems like the committee definitely taking a step back and making sure, let's make sure we evaluate this thing properly and make sure we're putting the right people in. Cleveland Browns star defensive midfielder, Miles Garrett, have expressed his openness to exploring opportunities with another team,
Starting point is 00:48:41 including the Philadelphia Eagles. Garrett, who's been a cornerstone of the Browns' defense since being drafted first overall in 2017, has reportedly requested a trade, citing a desire to compete for championships as the primary motivation. When asked about the possibility of joining the Eagles, Garrett responded enthusiastically, stating,
Starting point is 00:48:59 Philadelphia? Who in the hell wouldn't want to be in that destination? This is fuel speculation about the potential to bolster the Eagles' pass rush, especially considering they need to rejuvenate their defensive front. Ocho, do you see the Eagles giving up the draft capital and potential assets to get Miles Garrett? Listen, the way Harry Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie have been doing things
Starting point is 00:49:22 and doing everything the right way, very strategically and methodically, and building the team that they have, drafting well, and making the right key offseason acquisitions. I could see them doing it. I could see them doing it. Also, it damn wouldn't be fair with what they have. Yeah, it would. You got Miles Garrett. Yeah. You got Jalen Carter.
Starting point is 00:49:40 Yes. You got Jordan Davis. Mm-hmm. Then you got Saquon coming back. Yes. You got A.J. Brown, Devontae Smith, and that ain't fair. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, this
Starting point is 00:49:50 is what it's going to require you to get, Miles Garrett. What? I'm going to need Mitchell, your number one corner. I'm going to need Devontae Smith, your number one wide receiver. I'm going to need two first-rounders and a third. Jesus Christ. Hey, think about,
Starting point is 00:50:06 hold on, hold on. Y'all said no. Think about what the Philadelphia, what Seattle got for Russell Wilson. Two first, a second, a third,
Starting point is 00:50:16 no offense, your starting quarterback and the starting defensive lineman. What y'all, what y'all think? And Russell, do y'all believe Russell is a better player than Miles Garrett? No. So y'all making, y'all think and Russell do y'all believe Russell is a better player than Miles Garrett no so y'all making
Starting point is 00:50:28 y'all making the trade you're getting rid of see they said no they said no I've got I've got to get look
Starting point is 00:50:36 I've got to get I've got to get something I want a number one corner to pair with Dizale that was robbery what you just said though that's robbery do you believe you
Starting point is 00:50:45 get you're getting the premium our premier edge rusher that's under the age of 30 but look what you just asked for Keon Mitchell you think I'm Devante
Starting point is 00:50:54 Smith who you think of the Dallas Mavericks right to give you Luca Satan you can get something but not what you just asked for okay well I'm
Starting point is 00:51:04 gonna go somewhere else hey uh detroit what y'all got what about james and williams no what about jack campbell no no no no no no no nobody nobody else is tearing their team apart especially teams that were in contention you still got laporta you still got almond raw You still got those two-headed monsters in the backfield. Then you loom Jamison Williams. You ain't got nobody to take the top off the coverage. Well, you need somebody to stop the coverage. Or for the other opposing team.
Starting point is 00:51:34 Did you see what Jayden Daniels did when he went in there? Okay, you're right. You're right. I think it's going to, look, it's not going to just be draft capital. I'm going to need starting assets. I'm going to need something that I can plug and play. And that can make a difference, right? Yes, yes. Because you're getting a
Starting point is 00:51:48 difference maker. The guy was defensive player of the year last year. He was on the ballot again this year. So you're getting a premier guy the last four seasons. He's had at least 14 sacks. He's had double-digit sacks six of the last seven years. I've got to get something for it. Those guys don't grow on trees. I don't see the
Starting point is 00:52:03 defensive end position similar to the quarterback position. The quarterback position always has the ball in their hand. Right. Now, I know a defensive end, a very good one like Myles Garrett, can change the dynamic of a game at any point. But I don't see them commanding and taking the game over the way a quarterback can. Myles Garrett, Jalen Carter, Zach Braun, Jordan Davis. Yeah, but what you just asked for, for Myles Garrett, is robbery, Jordan Davis. Yeah, but what you just
Starting point is 00:52:26 asked for for Miles Garrett is robbery with no mask. Nolan Smith Jr. No. Nicole Dean. No. No. I keep my squad together because my squad I got right now, we're in the Super Bowl. Okay. Well, don't worry about it. I'll take him somewhere else. I'll shop him somewhere
Starting point is 00:52:41 else. Since you didn't want him, I offered you didn't want him. Hold on. You didn't want him. Hold on. Josh Allen won the MVP? How? What did he say? What was that? They say Josh Allen won MVP. What?
Starting point is 00:52:54 Hold on. Huh? Hold on. Hold on a time. Chad, help me out. How can he be the MVP and not the all-pro quarterback? You remember I told you? Y'all remember what happened to LeBron?
Starting point is 00:53:11 LeBron didn't win defensive player of the year. And Gasol, Mark Gasol, was second team all-defense, and he won defensive player of the year. Huh? Wait, are y'all sure? J- I'm shocked. I'm shocked.
Starting point is 00:53:34 They- Look at your phone, look at your phone. I ain't got my phone, you got your phone. You said you got it right there nah that's bullshit hell nah Ocho I'm telling
Starting point is 00:53:51 nah that's bullshit I'm shocked that's crazy we talked about this I said Ocho I don't know how I'm trying to I'm trying to wrap my mind around it.
Starting point is 00:54:05 Because here's the thing, guys. These are the same 50 million women that voted for the All-Pro team. So how do you not vote Josh Allen, the first team All-Pro quarterback, but you vote him MVP? It makes no sense. It makes no sense at all.
Starting point is 00:54:18 And it's not a testament, but the game that they play. They pick and choose who they want. Who they want. Regards to the accolades, regardless of your resume, and the numbers. The numbers speak for themselves, based on what Lamar's done. Had Josh Allen was first-team All-Pro
Starting point is 00:54:36 Ocho, I don't think we have a disagreement. Because we said Ocho, he was first-team All-Pro. The only thing I was certain of, and I said, Ocho, unless something funny goes on the first team all pro quarterback is normally the mvp or the first team all pro i mean think about it is it is this the first time this happened with someone that wasn't all pro but got one the mvp yes because some although sometimes no not for the quarterback not for
Starting point is 00:55:01 the quarterback okay that'll be the equivalent der Derrick Henry is second team all-pro running back, but he wins offensive player of the year. People are like, how? I'm saying how? They wanted to give Josh something. They wanted to give him something. Hey, this ain't no handout. We don't do no handouts here.
Starting point is 00:55:18 They don't do no handouts in the NFL, but they just handed him MVP. I'm shocked. I'm shocked. Ocho, I'm I didn't That don't make no sense. Somebody said DEI. Tell the whole thing. That's a good one.
