So I see week one in front of me. And after that, we'll start on the next week, those type of things. So I don't think it's fair to really go past this week on anything related to our football season.

Joe, what we got going on? Man, I don't know. This is a provie year for tour, Uncle Ocho. You know, Miami moved on from Atlanta gave an opportunity. now he got to go out there and see what he could do, bro. With the weapons that he got, all he got to do is get that ball out quick and do not turn it over, bro. You have way too many weapons, you know, for them not to be explosive offensively.

All he got to do is minimize the turnovers. Well, good luck with that because I see a situation where we got an O'Leo song, back, back and forth. Nah, come on, man. Yeah, watch, watch. Did you talk about tour is a make a year? I believe it's a make a year for Pinnix also.

Some people say Jemir Gibbs, some people say maybe say Kwan or maybe Derek Henry. But the fact that he has Bijon Robinson behind him that can take most of the pressure off of him, not having to throw the ball as much as he might have to, I think he's going to be okay. I think he's going to be okay.

They're going to be able to scheme, scheme plays for him, knowing that Tua is very well when throwing the ball on rhythm and on timing, on timing plays. Not too much, not too much play action. He doesn't have the strongest of arms, but he's really good. He's really good when it comes to rhythmic playing in the passing game. So I think his security blanket is going to be his, is tied in.

I mean, what's your boy name? Number eight? Yeah, Kyle Pitts is going to be his security banker for the season. Dritland is going to get his catches, you know, as normal. But I think he's going to be okay because the safety valve. But when it's going to be Cal Pitts and the running game is going to be so good. With Bejan Robinson back there, they're going to take some of the pressure off of what they're going to ask to her to do

because the running game is so good. Look, I think you had weapons. I mean, hell, you had Tyreek for three years. you've had Jalen Water for several years. And it's not like he's running back that he had in Miami with a slouch. He had Devon A-Chance. Oh, yeah.

That's why I say, that's why I said, he'll be okay. Well, he wasn't okay in Miami. But yeah, toward the end, towards the back end. Remember, Tyreek and Wado went crazy for two, three years in a row. If I'm not mistaken, it might have been two or three. That often, when they needed two,

and when they needed two or to make them plays, that he made it early in the season? Yeah, they couldn't make it in the cold. they couldn't make it in the cold. He should be fine in the dome then. He got two domes. You play in Atlanta, I mean, you play in Atlanta and you play in New Orleans, which are domes,

He has to learn how to fall. He has to learn how to brace, when he's getting hit and put himself from getting hurt. That's all to come down to. Michael Penning Jr. is not healthy right now. I think knowing, based on where he's at right now, I think he missed what? Maybe the next four games.

But the mere fact that he says all I'm thinking about is week one lets you know that two or should be looking over his shoulder. That's not how quarterback normally approach it. The quarterback, excuse me, the coach, the head coach normally says,

he's our guy and we're going to ride with him. But he's talking about week one. I got blind his own. You ain't got no, yeah, you might be got blind his own, but you're not blind. Yeah, yeah. In other words, you're not looking side to side. You can see straight ahead.

good thing you can't see what's behind you that train about to run you over Coole. What you think, Ocho? I mean, Izzo. I think this is a good week one matchup with Tua considering the fact that the stillers aren't, you know, they finish at the bottom half for the

of the league. Ocho statistically last season. I'm talking about from past defense, so opportunity's going to be there for Tua. He just got to be willing to get that ball out quick, man. That is his problem. He's not the biggest of guys, and he came into the league injured. He's not a fast seat. No, no. He's not a loser. Yeah. He came into the league with a dislocated hip.

he's had major injuries when he was at he had the tightrope surgery on his ankle he's had numerous surgeries supposedly there are surgeries that we don't even know about for what people have been reporting i don't know if that's true or not but people have reported it he had several surgeries at alabama that went unreported now we do know this he's been treated for several concussions yeah we've seen him we saw him get a concussion and they talk they look at his foot. I was, damn, what he got a blister? How the man get hit in his head?

He got hitting his head. Oh, you know what I'm talking about? He said, no, he had an ankle injury. There didn't nobody touched that man's ankle. But that was just because he, the severity of the concussions and the thing is once you get one and you get them so close together, they become more and more severe. Yeah. He can help more to have that.

I don't, I don't know how much. And you look, I'm sure. sure he went to some doctors probably told him that it'd probably be best if he didn't continue to play. But when you're that young and you got that much money tied up in it, it's hard to walk away. But at some point in time, what's the risk, reward of playing, making money, and then you're not able to enjoy it or remember having it? That's a fine line that we have to walk. It is. And some of us have to make that decision a lot sooner than others. You saw Luke Keekly walk away. He walked away.

San Francisco had a linebacker, had a hundred and plus tackle his rookie year, it walked away. It's going to be very, very interesting to see how he holds. To a led the NFL and passing yards with over 4,600 and 23. He led the league in completion percentage with 73% and 24. But the injuries, that's what kind of derailed him. Like I said, he's not the biggest guy.

He's not the most elusive guy. and he's dealt with a problem of when he goes down, he doesn't know how to fall. Somehow, when no matter how you hit him, his head seems to bang off the turf, Ocho and Joe, and that's not good.

You got to tighten up. You got to tighten up. You got to tighten up the body. That's all, that's all core strength, huh? When you fall in backwards, if you,

if you getting hit, I want to, I want to raise up and stay as close to the person tackling me as possible so that whiplash doesn't happen. I don't, I wanted to happen. Hey, and the Falcons, they don't need two of it to be a superstar,

You would think by now, Ocho, as long as he's played the game, Joe, that he would know how to fall. He would know how to fall by now.

But clearly he hadn't learned how to fall yet. Well, you got, I think you got to, I think you got to look at it from a standpoint. He's surrounded, you know, around a lot better talent now. So, so I think, I think his decision-making should be a lot more decisive versus him not really, you know, knowing what to do with the ball or what to go with the bar. I think he has so many options that his job shouldn't be complicated this year to me, fellas, if y'all, you know what I mean?

When I look at it. So you think, you think the weapons that he have now better than what he had in Miami? Well, you're talking about two, three years ago, but last year, yeah. But you realize he had those guys last year until, what you call it, got hurt. Tyreek got hurt like week six. So he had Tyreek, he had Waddle, he had A Chan, he had those guys. And he had the tight end that retired, I forget his name up the top of my head, had the tight end that retired and came out of retirement and played.

So he had, Tua is, maybe with the exception of his rookie year, Tua has never not had, and I hate using never and not. But he's always had weapons. Go back and look at Alabama what he was throwing to you. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Go back and look at it. And once they traded for Tyreek, they got Waddled. They drafted A-chan.

So it's not like he's gone one year where he didn't have A1 talent, only one year in his NFL career that you can say, you know what, man, he ain't really got a whole lot of weapons. Other than that, he's been littered with pro bowlers. Yeah. Oh, Darren Waller. Yeah, that's what was. Darren Waller.

Yes. Yeah. But listen, it's really not comparable. the receivers that he has right now a little different. Hey, who's the number two? I know Drake London's the one. Who's the two?

I don't know because they got rid of, I think Mooney left, didn't he? Yeah, Mooney with the Giants. Yeah, Mooney's with a Giants. And you see the Giants release, what you call it? We're going to talk about that little later Slatting. Oh, yeah, man. Godly, man.

But when they go in the three wives said, with Kyle Pierce at the tight end, and then when they got it, they come in, with Zachariah Branch, Chris Blair, and Bo Collins. Bo Collins is on IR currently.

So, look, they got some weapons. Can the offensive line, can they hold up? They got some nice Chris Lindstrom. Jake Matthews is probably their best offensive line with the left tackle.

But we're going to find, look, Miami is paying the bulk of this salary. Yeah. Miami's on the hook for $30 million, $35 million, whatever's on the hook for. Atlanta's probably playing minimum.

One, two million dollars, not a whole lot, not a whole lot. But basically, that Miami money runs out after this year. Atlanta gave you a one-year deal. Yeah. Basically, until you prove it,

he's going to have to be on moving deals. Hey, so look, check this out. So let's say the first month of the season, right? Yes. Who plays well? Do you keep riding with him, even if Pinnix is fully healthy. Hell yeah.

Yeah, if he's playing well, absolutely, Joe. If he got the hot hand, you don't, you don't take him out. Absolutely. That makes no sense, especially, especially even really, he's in rhythm and time with the offense and the offense is responding well. Oh, yeah, you play that out. And I really feel, I really feel in job is hitting jobs, the quarterback job and never easy.

Chad, listen to me, but I really think he's going to play well because of what they ask me to do. It can be really simple. He's a great rhythm and time and quarterback. He throws receivers open, so as long as they're getting open and where they're supposed to be, which Drake London is good at,

Zachariah Branch, I just want to make sure I'm not butchered his name. That young bull, hey, he's going to get it and get gone. You're talking about Zakeas, only man, Zakeas. That's the other one. I'm saying it wrong. No, there's two of them.

They got to find a way to use him a little bit more, man. They should be able to use him in the most of the two the way the offensive. But that's neither here or no there, but I think he's going to be okay. He's going to be okay. He's going to be okay. I don't think he got much choice in this matter right here. He's going to have to play really well. No, guys are going to have to play well.

I mean, I don't look at T, I don't look at T, I don't look at T, I don't look at Tua as a guy that elevates. I look at guys that elevating him. Yeah. I don't see him. I don't look at him at Josh Allen. Like these top four, five, six quarterbacks, I don't look at Tua like that. Yeah. I look at guys got to play really, really well.

And when they play well, he looks well. Yeah. But as far as going out there and they're having bad days and him, you know, that completely making big time plays, I don't look at him as that. Because he's not a guy that's elusive. I don't look at him making plays like, oh, shaking people off, getting away from people like Lamar,

throwing the ball down the field, 35, 40 yards, and making big plays like that. I don't look at him like that. Could he periodically have a play here or there? Yeah. But he's a guy that he plays his best when he's on script. Yeah.

I got to get him off. I want him to go play Sandlot football. Josh Allen can play Sandlot football. Lamar Jackson can play Sanlock football. A lot of these top formats can play Sandlot football. You can get them off script and they can still remain on script. Hey, make something out of nothing. That's not what he is.

If I don't give him the best ingredients, boy, that meal gonna be something awful. I'll just let you know, just so you know ahead of time. If I don't give him something good, That meal going to be something good and terrible. Yeah. Yeah. And you know what I think we should do in the second half of the show, Uncle, Joe?

The only, the one that probably surprises me is probably Deshaun in Cleveland. Yeah. But giving the money, but like, Ocho, you talk, the money, you're right. When you look, when you look at, it should have been, it should have been a telltale sign. The moment they didn't release him June 1st, well, you stuck with him now. Yeah. I mean, I, Uncle Joe, I tried to say, y'all, you know, when the conversation first came up and the conversation first arrived, who was going to be the starting, you know, starting quarterback?

And obviously the media, the analyst, the punons, we tried to make it in a sense of a quarterback competition when actually it really never was. Obviously. Us's fans on the outside look at the end, we know what we won't want it. You know, we all wanted that number two. We want number two starred because we've already seen

small semicides of what Deshaunas looked like before injuries clearly during his tenure. It hadn't been done to cheer about. So why not move on?
