Y'all don't know who I am,
but you'll see my handiwork in just a few moments.
As you watch the Indiana Hoosers trounce,
the Oregon Ducks by the score of 56 to 22.
It really wasn't a ballgame.
Fernando Mendoza was sensational.
He had more touchdowns than incompletion.
17 of 20.
177, 5 touchdowns.
That is Chad Johnson.
He about to be on alive.

there's a Super Bowl show that's happening
Ocho and a partner
I don't know who that's
partner is going to be at this time, but we'll get that information to you at a later
date and time. Tickets for the Super Bowl show in San Francisco went on sale this morning.
Cityboxoffice.com slash nightcap. The cityboxoffice.com slash nightcap. The show will be
Thursday night, February the 5th at the Herbs Theater in San Francisco. So, Bay, yay,
show up, show out. Before we get to talk about this ball game, because there wasn't a whole lot
to talk about, I want to show you something,
Chad. This is why I'm wearing this
get up.
And this man
has some nerve this morning.
He wants to send a special shout out
to a good friend of mine, Shannon Sharp.
And the nightcap show. Family,
no way. I'd be able to treat myself
if I paid $5900 that I owe unc.
Yeah.
So now
Shiky Shay got to show up.
I don't chat, I just want you to know I did not want to revert back to the way I was.
I had tried to get out of these mean streets of Glenville.
Right.
But every time I tried to get out, somebody pulled me back in.
And it just so happened to be, he pulled me back in.
So I don't have no choice. So y'all forgive me.
Father, forgive me for I'm about the sin.
Just know it didn't have to come to this.
This could have been prevented months ago, weeks ago, years ago.
This man refused to pay unc his money.
So unc sent me to deal with it.
Okay.
Okay.
So this is like the orth ego.
Like this is the author ego.
I don't know no, um.
A shyst-ish, a shi-shae.
I like that.
Yeah, I like, I like that.
Hey, that's, hey, that's dope right there.
But listen, you don't understand.
understand and what I was saying. Obviously, it's still my birthday today, you know, I thank God
for allowing me to see 58. And outside of thanking God for not only allowing me to see 58,
I had to thank you, the opportunity in which you gave me, the platform to be able to be able to
treat myself, the nightcap family. Obviously, we have a lot of fans, a lot of supporters,
but I'm going to talk about Ash and everyone else behind the scenes who I don't get to thank
enough for allowing me to be able to to get this purchase that's what I was trying to say so it was
more of a thank you to you in the nightcap family because if it wasn't for you these blessings
would not be bestowed upon me hey think about think about what think just think what would
God do in this situation uh Chad will be making appearance a special appearance on the first
48 next week make sure y'all tune into that episode
The clock doesn't start starting
until the first 48.
I can't believe this chap
that Unk had to go get
shy-ishy-shaped, pull him out.
Because this man, he bought this life.
He bought this life, man.
You don't understand, bro.
Hey,
you don't understand my paper means something.
And y'all know I'm short of paper as it is.
So I got to do it.
Now you got good.
Sometimes you just got to stand on on principal.
Right.
The principal, right.
Hey, the principal, what you mean?
Principal like in high school?
Yeah, it's the principal.
It's not the fact that 5,900 is a lot of money.
It's the fact that this man doing a Broadway play in my face.
This man got a controller.
I sent, I had my homeboy sent him a picture of a controller.
And he texts my homeboy back.
He said, what's this?
He said, you plan with Uncle money.
So.
I wasn't playing.
I was just, you know, God is blessed me to be able to do some things I've never been able to do before.
And I would just, you know, being thankful, not just to you and the nightcare family, but God will.
We're in the ball.
We can spend a slide.
That's all.
It is what it is.
The money don't even matter.
Now, you good.
We good.
We good.
We good.
Hey, one thing about it, my grandma always say, boy, as long as somebody owe you, baby, you're, you're
never be broke. Well, I'm gonna let you tell the man that.
Which man? The man that you go go meet. Make sure you got his ties with you.
Oh, 10%? Okay, okay. Okay. I got you. I hate that it had to come to this, but you know, I got you. If you need, if you need me, I got you.
I hate it. It had to come to this too, man. I mean. Yeah. And you know, you know, you know I supported La Portier yesterday, too. I would drink and I, I bought that bottle from ABC. ABC looking down here in Miami now.
didn't slide earlier.
He let you celebrate his birthday.
He ain't happened to do that.
He could have pulled it up on you
because I know some of the spots
that you'd be at.
You feel me?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I didn't want to roll up on you.
You in Cambodia,
I thought that was gangster.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
You know she keeps that thing on that.
Yeah.
So what I've said is,
stop playing with me.
You feel me?
I got you.
Stop playing with me.
So when my name comes up,
Put some speck on it.
Right.
Put some speck on my name.
Okay.
Wait, spec or respect?
Put some speck on my name.
Okay.
We finish and we done it.
I like the way you left.
I got you.
My bad.
My bad.
My bad.
I got you, though.
Like, real shit.
Real shit.
Real shit.
I'm gonna tighten you up.
But, oh, hey, when you come down to mind me,
I can show you give you a drive, though.
I'm just saying, I know you like sports cars.
Man, I'm going to have to roll.
up on the boy bro you know what I said because I know spots that he'd be hanging out
at yeah I started to pull up on you I thought I'll say that's gangster don't do him like
daddy with his old he with Cambodia on his birthday yeah I'm saying she got she got she got a
license to carry so you got to be careful when you do that huh yeah I'm I'm with you
right though you're what a deal with a deal check I'm gonna get you right I'm gonna square you
up you up you all feel me I'm gonna square you up though real
Real talk.
Because I didn't, I didn't did everything I wanted to do.
The pool, the pool done.
I did the inside, you know.
I got, I got my dream, not really a dream car, you know,
but I got something that I felt I worked extremely hard for
to where I can enjoy myself.
And, you know, ain't nothing else I got to buy.
So I'm gonna slide that to you quick in a hurry
because I don't want no problem.
It's 2026, the year just started.
It's too late for that, man.
I don't turn that slip in.
I'm gonna turn that slip in.
You know John Wick,
once they put that,
what they catch that,
hey, once they turn that chip in,
ain't no turning back.
Right.
No.
Ain't nothing we can do.
Shea coming.
Oh, sheik's coming.
I hated to have to come to this
because they wasn't supposed to get to this.
You're right.
He tried to handle this thing amical.
Behind closed door, hey,
just go ahead and break it off.
You can do it to a couple installments,
but you refuse to do it.
that. So he had to put that, yeah, but,
but hold on, I, I, I, I, I'm
many times, and I'm sure that people that watch the show,
they have seen me many times ask you for PayPal,
Apple Pay, Zell,
I mean, all these different, all these different apps,
which would allow me to transfer that money to you expeditiously.
Hey. And you chose not to. Hey, bro,
when 57 Savage come, it is what it is.
57, who?
Savage.
Hey, pick yourself Savage roll up on you.
It is what it is.
Feel of me?
Hey, 507.
Hey, I like that one, boy.
That's a good one right there, boy.
That's a good one right there.
Finish seven Savage?
Okay.
I like that.
Oh, shi-shy-shaid, boy.
Yeah, that's a good one, boy.
Indiana Hoosier blowout the Oregon Ducks by the score of 56 to 22.
The Hoosier will face now there's only two.
Indiana Hoosier will face the Miami Hurricanes for the national championship on January the 19th.
Indiana has beaten its two playoff opponents by the combined score of 94 to 25.
The blowout started early in the game.
DeAngelo Pons, who came on the show earlier this year,
picked off DeVante Moore on the first offensive series of the game,
returned it 25 yards.
Oregon tied the game up.
Moore showed me something because he threw a pick
and then he came back and answered.
And then IU went on a 35 unanswered run,
point run, and that was really the ballgame.
Just too many turnovers.
Indiana was just far too good.
They're very well coached team.
Offensive line, defensive line took the ball game over.
And those receivers, they don't have big names,
but they catch everything.
They hide point everything.
This was a really coached.
a really, a really, really well coached football team.
They're really disciplined.
And I know everybody's talking about the youth back,
but do you got their hands full, Locho?
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Not only do they have a handful.
University of Mind, what we saw from them when they played last night is they had
tournaments, they had turnover.
And this is the exact same thing.
I felt when it came to this game,
it would come down to not only the quarterback playing Dante Moore and Brother
Mendoza, but it would also come down to the turnovers.
And long behold, the first play of the game,
the goddamn outright, quick out route,
mind you, he already ended, he in the gun.
So the goddamn DB is not moving.
Oh, Joe, you came over the dog,
and he throws the late and throws it behind.
Oh, Joe.
You see him rotate, safety shoes back,
they rock, go down to the other side.
That's man free.
Uh-huh.
He's off.
He's clueling.
He don't even get out of his back panel.
He didn't even budge.
Didn't they put him in motion?
What now?
Or whether he is not because if you think about because he he tried to run a speed.
Yeah, he tried to run a speed out.
Speed out.
Yeah.
D.B. Pons was just, he took one step and drove.
You ran out and up your head.
But you ran the out.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
It's unfortunate.
Carson Baker is going to have to play not, not saying play perfect.
He's going to have to play damn near.
to damn near perfect you can't you can't turn the ball they put so much pressure on you on both
sides of the ball ohcho they got them front they dominate both lines of scrimmage and that's what
that's what the you tries to do so it's going to be immovable object irresistible force something's got
to give yeah absolutely hey i i remember watching mendoza down here in miami god damn it i'm i remember
are down here in Miami,
at Columbus High School.
I didn't know Mendoza would be what he is today.
I had no idea he would be this good.
If you look at some of the throws he was able to make,
some of the throws that attribute to some of the quarterbacks
that let you know, they're going to be good.
He's throwing a goddamn comeback route off the left half
to the wide side of the field on the money.
His ball placement all game long was phenomenal.
On those same plays with Dante Moore through intercept.
in the beginning of the game, every outrouty through,
whether it was on the short side of the wide side of the field,
the ball placement was perfect, throwing receivers open.
Even if they were covered, the ball placement.
Back shoulders, high, but the receiver's,
oh, Joe, you see how they high point the ball?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But it's only where his guy can catch it.
Mm-hmm, it's gonna be a completion
or it's gonna be incomplete, he's not gonna be picked,
and no balls even came close to getting picked.
He was sensational.
All night long.
Man, I'm looking at Coach Signette on the sideline.
If he,
if he's like this and they're winning the ball game,
I hate to see him when he gets upset.
Yeah.
Hey, he don't show no kind of emotion.
He got his hands on his heel.
What about that?
I'm like, are you happy?
Hey, the camera pan to him after a touchdown,
he showed nothing.
The sideline going crazy behind him.
Stone cold killer face.
That's it.
But Mendoza was very good.
Hey, the job is not.
Go ahead.
What you saying?
No, I was just saying the job is not finished.
That's the mentality and the mindset and his body language.
That's what it showed.
The job's not finished.
There's no reason for me to be celebrating.
Oh, yeah.
You can celebrate that.
I mean, you can't get to the job if you didn't finish this job.
I mean, you got to all that means you have another task.
It's kind of like when you're growing up, if you grew up on the farm,
there's always something for you to do.
You can move the animal from one pen to another.
You can grind feed.
There's always something for you to do.
But you have must finish said task first before you move on to another task.
So win the Big Ten.
Okay, get to the Big Ten championship.
He won that.
He won the first, you know, get a buy it.
And then they win the next game.
So now you advance to the Chick-fil-A peach bowl.
Now the ultimate.
You get to play for the National.
championship something you've never won.
You've never been that situation.
And yeah, they're a good team.
He's an unbelievable. This might be, I mean,
they might need to do a story because we've never seen a turnaround
happen this quick.
Not what a team that's been this historically bad.
I mean, they've been historically bad.
I'm talking about historically historically.
I'm talking about like bad news bears bad.
Hold on.
The funny thing about it, Indiana is a basketball school.
Yes, it is.
This is the basketball school.
When is the last time we've seen the basketball school,
dominate like this the entirety of a season.
No, we have it.
The entirety of a season and beat everyone.
I'm not, I'm not sure if a lot of people,
if they were gamblers, if they were betters and they bet on college football,
how many people had Indiana to be in this position throughout the season?
How many?
To be able to make it, to be undefeated,
to be playing in a national championship in Miami.
Before Peyton Manning got to Indy,
they were known for basketball in the Indy 500.
Right.
Then Peyton Manning come and then all of a sudden they got excited about football.
And he gave him a reason to be excited.
Yes.
But this story, IU football and to be in this position,
one went away from winning a national championship and had to go through the gauntlet
because it's a little bit more difficult now because now you have 12 teams.
You have to win multiple games in order to get to a national championship.
Once you win, you know, you win your division.
You go to the championship,
the said division, you win that.
And normally, up until a few years ago,
you play for the national championship.
You rank one or two, you play for the national championship.
It's not like that anymore.
You get a buy.
So you have to win three games to win a national championship.
After you go through your regular season,
after you get to your conference championship,
now you got to win three games in order to be.
So we'll know the real, it ain't no more.
Man, such and such should have been in there.
And if they'd have been in there,
they'd have done this.
Now you win three games.
you to chat.
Oh yeah, you got ample opportunity.
You got ample time.
You get, man, I'm sick of this camera.
You got ample opportunity to be able to prove yourself and your worth if you make it
to the playoffs and you make it to the national championship.
Hey, the fact that Mendoza gets to come back home and play in front of his home crowd in front
of the place where he's from, you know, I mean, it's going to be dope.
But listen, Mendoza is going to have his handful and the hurricane going to have his
handful.
I know the pressure is on Carson Ben.
Oh, yeah.
I know the pressure, the pressure is on him and all those interceptions.
And for one, the turnover.
You can't turn the ball over.
And they have to capitalize.
If those opportunities for themselves defensively, you got to catch some
intercepts in this game.
Now, you can't, you won't have to.
We saw what happened, Ocho.
Mendoza put the ball on the ground twice.
And they didn't get neither one of them.
Neither one.
And they end up going to getting points out of both of them.
I didn't understand, Oregon, okay, you're already backed up.
You take a delay of game penalty to get backed up even further.
and now you let the guy come in there only rush two guys
and you let one of the guy blocked the pun.
I'm trying to figure out of time.
I'm saying, hold on, you already backed up.
Why would you take a delay a game?
This game basically once it was 7-7.
That was the last time this game was interesting.
I thought I'm going to be,
I thought it was going to go back and forth,
especially after the interception and Oregon.
I mean, Oregon got the ball,
and they went right down the field, right down the field at will.
I'm like, oh, okay, you know what?
This is going to be a long night, and it's going to be a scoring fest.
Excuse me, back and forth.
Yeah, I was fooled.
I was laid it.
I was laid astray.
Oregon could get any pressure on Mendoza.
Couldn't.
He was pinpointed actor.
Surrogh, Becker, those guys, Cooper Jr.
I mean, he was just spreading around.
You get a, hey, you get a catch.
You get a catch.
catch.
Mm-hmm.
Hell, they bought Pons in and let him catch a pass.
It's, uh, hey, boy.
These are, these are the, um, both quarterbacks in this game, Mendoza is projected to
be number one.
Moore is projected to be number two.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, I, I, I can see why.
Yeah.
I, I can see why.
And obviously, I, I wasn't that high on Mendoza, obviously because you, you watch, you watch
Indiana play, but I didn't know it was this good.
that the spotlight is on him.
It's a pressure situation,
and you have to show up when it matters most.
And he played phenomenal.
He played phenomenal.
So obviously,
if he's going to the Raiders,
based on some of the throws I saw him make the night,
well, you put some pieces around the quarterback.
I saw tonight at the next level,
he's going to be all right.
You better put some offensive linemen around it.
Yeah, that, that's part of the pieces too.
The most important, the most important at that,
and you got to get him a receiver.
Just one, just one to go with Brock Bowers.
He's going to be all right.
I agree.
I agree with you.
Yeah,
we were hoping for what we got last night,
a very interesting ball game.
Excuse me.
I got the hiccough.
It was interesting for about seven minutes.
That's about it.
Seven minutes.
And that was it, Ocho.
And it was a blowout from there.
I mean, once it got to the half,
it was 35, 7th a half.
Go ahead.
Yeah, hey, hey, chat, and it was 35, seven to half.
At that point, I tweeted, you know, is it okay for me to take a nap?
Or will Oregon have an opportunity to come back?
And obviously, it's college football.
Anything can happen, you know, momentum shifts, the pendulum shifts at some point,
and another team catches fire.
And, you know, at no point did Oregon threat or even have a chance to actually come back in this game?
And, you know, it sucks.
I thought it would have been similar to the situation.
of the game last night who was very exciting.
But, hell, you didn't even want to blink.
You didn't want to leave your seat to even go to the bathroom
because you might miss something.
That's what I thought this game would be.
After the way it started out,
even with the interception at the beginning of the game
and seeing Oregon respond and go right down the field and score,
it just didn't happen.
It just didn't happen.
Indiana looked very good.
Most of these games, especially games of this magnitude
when it comes to when teens are of equal value
and quality and skill, you know,
the games are women.
in the trenches. The games are one up front and that's exactly where Indiana dominated on both
sides of the ball up front. And so it's going to be a good one. It's going to be a good challenge
for the hurricane. It's going to be a good challenge for Indiana. Because I think the winner of this
game is going to be whoever wins the battle of the trenches and also whichever quarterback
makes the least amount of mistakes. And that's who wins the game. I would love for the
University of Miami to win. But I'm also changed.
cheering for, you know, Fernando Mendoza in Indiana because, you know, he is here.
He's a hometown Florida kid.
So I'm excited.
I'm excited for the game.
Yeah, I mean, watching Mendoza probably, I've watched him a lot more down to stretch.
Excuse me, as Indiana, you got closer and closer.
And it looked like they were going to be on a collision course with Ohio State and the Big Ten championship.
You knew they were going to get into the playoffs, whether they won the Big Ten championship or not,
because they had been ranked number two for such a long period.
period of time.
Excuse me, I'm sorry, Chad, I got the hiccups.
But with that being said, watching him, I'm like, okay, yeah, I,
but watching him against Ohio State when he really needed to make throws,
watching him how just blitzed Alabama, how they just blitzed Oregon.
Yeah.
The Cains better be on their best behavior, Joe.
Yeah.
This kid, this kid is on a Joe Burrow type run.
You remember what Joe Burrow did?
I like the comparison.
I like the comparison.
Obviously that 2019 Joe Burrow was elite.
Based on the numbers he put up that season, going to the Natty, winning the natty, but the numbers he put up was unbelievable.
So you understood when it's certain times you can look at a quarterback in college,
and you can tell if what he does in college are going to be able to translate to the NFL.
And you knew watching Joe Burrow, no matter where he went,
as bad as the Bengals might have been,
he's going to have success wherever he goes.
Well, you look at what he got,
and they got one of his receivers that he had in college.
They got Chase to join him.
Yes.
You look at Chase had like 20 touchdown.
Jefferson had like 17 touchdown.
They had Marshall.
They had Thaddeus Moss.
They had Clyde.
It was hilarious.
They had the best offensive line in football.
They had a defense with Queen and Stingley Jr.
And all those got, from a talent standpoint,
IU doesn't have that.
Now, do I think IU is maybe have the coaching advantage?
Yeah, yeah.
I like Ed Orgian.
I like him.
But Signet is upper level.
You can make a case that he and Kirby Smart and he are the best two coaches in college football.
Ryan Day is in that.
But to do that, what he's done with that team, I mean, look,
going to Ohio State and take it over that.
Come on.
You're going to get blue chub guys.
Going over to Georgia and taking over that,
you're going to get guys.
Go take over Alabama or something.
You go, bro, that's India.
That's IU.
Yeah.
Is it safe to say coaching yet he's done more with less?
Yeah, for sure.
In a sense?
Okay.
I think they go on now.
That's dope.

I'm Ashley Reifeld, and I'm the host of the women's skateboarding podcast.
Good luck with that.
Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record, part news brief, mostly group therapy,
and a place to talk about the past, present, and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding.
This week, me and my co-host, Nora Vasconcellos and Alex White,
we have Fabiana Delfino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida,
whose grit was forged in a family of athletes.
tune in to hear how she broke into the boys club,
what it takes to be pro,
and why just being grateful you're here
shouldn't be the price of entry.
Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago
because that's when they maybe started paying attention.
It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years,
stacking clips and receipts and still having to prove your worth
while the industry catches up.
You break down the door, sick now like hold the door for everyone.
We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience

Ocho, John Harbaugh contract demands for the next team.
This is a-
Wait, whoa, wait, wait, wait, that's news to me.
A coach can have demands.
I mean, a lot of times they do have demands, a lot of times they don't become public, but they have demands.
Oh, shit.
According to ESPN's Cleveland, Tony Grosse, the full list of demands are 20 mil per year,
a 10 million staff budget, total authority over the roster, and would like to select his own GM.
That's not a bad thing, especially for somebody like Harbaugh that knows what he's going to need.
If I'm going to Cleveland, I know what I need in this room to be able to succeed.
I know what I need in this room to be able to compete in the AFC North, let alone compete week in and week out in the NFL.
I'm a Super Bowl winning coach.
And these are the things I need to have a competent team
and also get me a quarterback to be able to compete.
Some you guys have not been able to do for umpteen years.
I think if I'm not mistaking, only Andy Reed makes $20 million a year.
Right.
What, six Super Bowl of pairs, there's three wins,
six seven straight AFC championship games.
We understand why he's making that kind of money.
We'll see.
Teams that are desperate,
he has a proven commodity.
He's done a great job.
But like I said, you see,
you see what he wants.
He wants control over the,
this is why Jerry's never going to get a coach.
I mean, I think Shottie is doing a great job.
Now, if they can build that defense,
because Shottie can call play,
Dak, loves him, offense loving,
is very friendly.
But you're not getting a coach like this
to coach in Dallas,
because you got no safe.
All you do is have that title.
I'm the head coach.
coach you the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry's going to put who he wants on that team.
Jerry's going to draft who he wants.
You're not going to have any say so.
He says, I won't total.
He said, he doesn't say some like to have some input.
He says total apart.
He says total aparty over the final 53.
Yeah.
They're going to give it to him because it's almost in a situation
where the Cleveland Browns are not only desperate for a head coach
that wants to turn the culture around in general,
but it takes you back to the situation,
with Deshaun Watson where they were desperate to have a quarterback who had done what he had done previously
with the Houston Texans oh you mean to tell me we get to get this in our building well you know what
we're going to do we're going to throw everything in the kitchen sink at them and hoping we get just that
now we know things didn't pan out things and work out the way you know we thought they would have
I'm sure the Browns would have liked it to I'm sure DeShon Watson would have liked it to work out too that
same way. Now you have an opportunity
with John Harbaugh
to get a winning coach.
One that needs full control because he understands
what he needs as a team
to be able to compete.
So it's going to be
I think
the Giants is the best situation because
they have the most stable quarterback
situation. They have a defense.
You know, you got a Brian Burns, you got a Dexter
Lawrence, you just took Abdul Carter with the third
pick in the draft. You
probably need, you know,
some corners.
You definitely, you know,
build that offensive lineup.
But I don't think they're going to stand padded receiver either,
I thought you.
I thought Rondell Robinson had a great year.
Hey, he did.
He showed him to play.
But I think they're going to probably go get,
try to beef up that position.
Look, I agree with you.
I think somebody's going to give him back.
I think it's going to be the Giants.
Yeah.
Because you want, first of all,
It ain't that much.
I mean, because what you call it?
The Ravens is on the hook for like 13, 14 of it.
So you just got to add six to the pot.
That's it.
You're good.
You're good to go.
You just got to add six to the pot.
Because how was it with this contract extension that he signed this March?
Because he had just signed an extension on show.
I think a three-year extension.
Right.
So, but I've said it once.
I've said it again.
And hopefully it's the last time I have to say it.
on the hook for 34 million oh choo so that may say you're making 17 you ain't got to pitch in
but three yeah that's not that's a nice little chug of change right so he gonna want a five-year deal
263 million because the three because y'all y'all doing it's three the first two years
and then i'm gonna need that 20 the next three uh 10 million dollar staff budget
because you're gonna have to pay office and defense coordinator real you know a
million, million five.
Yeah.
Depending on who you get as a coordinator,
you might have to go all the way up to two.
But as I was saying,
I think John Harbaugh is a very good coach.
I just think that
the players need to hear another voice in that locker room.
I think his message need to be conveyed
to another group of ears in a locker room.
Right.
It happens sometimes.
It happened.
Yeah.
Bro, think about the Patriots moved on
from coach Belichick.
Yeah.
After 20.
Yeah.
Nobody in the history of the game
haven't had a stretch of success like the Patriots had from 2001 until 2019.
Nobody.
Yeah.
Nobody.
If Mr.
Krabb don't win another game, he should be able to say, you know what,
hey, I don't care nothing about winning no more.
I'm good because he bought the team that went to the Sue Bowl in 2019.
they lost to the Packers, but they went like to a couple of years after he purchased the team.
Mm-hmm.
How many divisions consecutive times they won the division, like 13, 14, 15 times they won the division.
Multiple.
Nine times they go to the end of, they're going to the Super Bowl.
Man, sometimes it just, you just need a, you just need a different voice.
I need a new voice, oh Joe.
Yeah.
Now all of a sudden,
what Mike Preston, everybody, well, we don't believe we don't like Mike Preston.
He don't have no credibility.
Now all of a sudden, that thing looked very prophetic.
Yeah, absolutely.
But, um, people have to understand.
They don't understand.
They have to put their fandom aside.
They have to put their fan in the side and say, you know what?
We don't like this individual that write for this specific news outlet because X, Y, and Z was
said in the past or X, but anytime something that is.
written by reporters that are not inside that building is coming from inside the building.
People need to understand that always, it always happens like this. So anytime you see things
written like this and the first thing you say, oh, who is he? He's not credible. Yes, he is.
That stuff is purposely leaked and it's always to start a small fire. And that's that small fire
at some point, it turned into somebody. If I don't like you, Ocho, you could forgive me the winning,
numbers to the lottery and I wouldn't do it.
If I love you,
you tell me if you go outside,
you're going to get hit by back truck.
I'm going outside.
We see that today with the man at the very top
in this democracy.
I don't know how much long it's going to be a democracy,
but it is currently.
You see, it doesn't matter what he says.
It doesn't matter what he does.
They love him.
Right.
It doesn't matter.
You, I,
so because they didn't like Mike Preston,
they automatically disregarded it.
I bid damn.
Yeah.
Todd Muggan said he and Lamar didn't have the best relationship.
If I'm not mistaken, didn't, uh, uh, uh, Mike speak to that.
Yeah.
What normally happens is that the offensive coordinator is the buffer between the player and the head coach.
It's not normally the other way with the head coach is the buffer between player and offensive coordinator.
Right.
It was a situation.
I lived it in Denver.
Mike Shanahan was the offensive coordinator.
Coach Reeves was the head coach.
John Elway was the quarterback.
Well, he said he don't like that.
He said, well, this is what we want to do.
Well, he said he don't want to run that.
You got to have a goal between.
Yeah. Yeah.
That ain't going to work on.
Not for long.
That ain't.
Because you're going to have to remove one of them.
And it definitely ain't going to be a player.
Not a player that magnitude.
No.
They was, uh, they,
They thought about trading.
They thought about trading, John.
They were going to trade into Washington.
Yeah.
That's when, that's when, uh,
Mr. B's like, I'm, I'm done with this.
Right.
I put a stop of that.
But I think Harms would be great in Washington.
I mean, excuse me, in New York.
Now, New York.
That's not to stop other teams,
but he knows in order to win,
you've got to have a quarterback.
You're not going to win a Super Bowl like you did before.
When you get Flacco, he gets hot down the stretch,
and he plays great for four or five games,
and then you have an outstanding defense to back him up, that's over.
You're not winning like that.
You need that guy.

The Ray would announce today that they have completed an interview with Kevin Stefanski for their head coach position.
Ocho, could you see Stefansky and Lamar being a good fit?
Hmm.
I mean, obviously what happened was Zafansky in Cleveland, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
But I'm able to compartmentalize in a sense and seeing him over there, you know, in Baltimore.
with Lamar and knowing that's the fancy is he's an offensive mind right if I'm not mistaken
now he's he's an offensive mind so I'm not sure um how that that that process would work I know
some of the games they was able to play with with Chador and in that environment he won't be
able to play those same games with Lamar over over in Baltimore I think he could have some
success again um doing doing what he does in Baltimore I still just don't see I think more so
I think Lamar in that offense will be okay and will be fine.
Once Lamar is back healthy, I think there still will be issues,
even if Safansky is a head coach, when the issues on the defense haven't been addressed.
Yeah, the issues on the defense aren't addressed.
It still will be the same thing.
Everything.
First of all, for me, if I'm Brian Flores, that's a lateral move.
Why would I go be the defensive coordinator somewhere and go to Dallas, go to Baltimore?
I'm still a defensive coordinator.
I want to be a head coach.
I'm not interested in doing anything.
I'm trying to go up. I ain't trying to go like this, Ocho.
So they're probably going to interview Brian Flores, but you got to get, look, you got
Lamar Jackson. You've got it. You can hire a defensive-minded coach as long as you have a great
play caller. You see Seattle, McDonald, and then he has Clint Kubiak. Yes. You can be that.
Everybody, look, first of all, everybody ain't going to be Sean McVeigh.
Everybody can't be Andy Reed.
That's a lot to be the head coach.
I oversee everything and I call plays.
Call the plays, yeah.
You know, Shottie, Brian Shottonheimer, he does that.
But most of the time, you know, hey, I delegate it.
Hey, you see Nick Sariani.
You see Dan Quinn.
You see a lot of these coaches.
Hey, I'm a delegate.
Hey, you do that and make sure everything's okay.
but to delegate and to be able to call play,
that's a huge, huge responsibility.
A responsibility.
Look, they're going to look at,
if I'm then, I'm looking at Cliff Kingsbury,
but Cliff doesn't run to run to football enough.
I think that's what him and Dan Quinn's butted,
but it heads about.
Right.
You can't, hey, you can't keep exposing your quarterback like that.
Like that, yeah.
You got Derek Henry.
He calls him, he calls him, he calls him,
get hurt.
Yeah.
And also, you know,
now everybody will have this kind of,
this luxury,
but John Harbaugh had been there so long,
he didn't have no intermediary.
He only talked directly to Steve Bishaddy.
Right.
So everybody don't have that.
Andy probably got it like that.
Sean probably got it like that.
Yeah.
Those coaches that are proof.
Yeah.
Those coaches are to prove them have it like that.
But the thing is with,
It doesn't matter who you get to call defensive play.
They got to get better players on the Ravens defense.
That defensive line got to get better.
They got to get better, Ocho.
Linebacker, the corner, we went through the stats.
They didn't generate pressure.
The back end can no longer hold up like they once could.
And it's shooting fish in a barrel.
I get it.
Because a lot of times, and we've seen this before,
is that when you have a guy like Lamar,
you forget you got Derek Henry behind him.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Lamar's okay.
Lamar just wants to win.
Yeah.
And in a given game,
Derek Henry presents the best opportunity
for us to win.
Y'all think Lamar's going to be upset about his stats?
Absolutely not.
Go back and look at the first one that we won.
Look at John's stats.
Maybe 150 yards at a pick.
Mm-hmm.
You win that one game
changed the way people perceive you.
Whether you play good, bad, or indifferent.
Go back and look at Tom Brady's first game
in the Super Bowl.
But that was all defense, huh?
That was all defense.
I think the thing, look,
they've got to get somebody
that knows how to coach
an offense
that Lamar can succeed in
that he got Derek Henry behind him.
Right.
I thought Todd Monkin did a great job.
Of course.
coordinating this thing.
I mean, think about it.
Derek Henry gets there his first year.
He goes over 1,900 yards, almost, what, 17, 18 touchdowns.
Follows up with another almost 1,600 yards, another 14, 16 touchdowns.
Lamar goes MVP, 41 and 4 gets Nick this year.
I think that had a lot to do with it.
And when he came back, he wasn't himself.
But their problem was they couldn't finish.
They get leads.
They just couldn't close the deal, Ocho.
Yeah.
And so, you know, Steve's like, you know what?
And I know, you know, look, it's reported that the front office like, no, Steve, but Steve, like, no.
And once you make up your mind, that's the direction that you want to go in.
You want to move into another direction.
Yeah.
You don't become as wealthy as these men are with being indecisive.
Yeah.
You make a decision and you live with said decision.
It's of the utmost that they get better players for the defense.
They've got to get a right guard.
They've got to get a right guard.
He just, I mean, ooh, man.
Listen, he had a decent game in the last game of the season.
No, he did, no, Joe.
Did you not see this man?
He thought he was a cross guard.
He directed, he directed kids at an elementary school.
Oh, we didn't, we're standing.
And then no man's land.
He got a man, but I like this here and both of them go past.
I like this.
And it's, I mean, but think about it, Ocho, if, if, if, uh, and the, the problem
that they had is when Lamar went down, they put Cooper Rush in.
Cooper Rush in.
Cooper Rush is an athletic.
So he can't get out of harm's way like Huntley.
He can't get out of harm's way like Lamar.
And you see what happened?
But they got, they got to fix this thing.
Um, Steve is.
And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, he should have known.
own.
Bro, defense, bro, that's the foundation of the Ravens.
Always has been.
That's the foundation.
Yeah, you can score all the points you were.
As great as Tom Brady was, that defense, look at his defenses that he had.
Those were top 10 defenses.
Mm-hmm.
Keep him in the ball game.
Okay, Tom, winning at the end.
He never let, for the most, Tom never let those defenses, never let the game get out of hand.
get out of hand.
Think about it.
When they was down 28 to 3,
how many points did Atlanta score in the second half?
None.
They had 28 at the half,
and guess what they had at the end of the game?
28.
That same 28.
So you look at the greatest show on turf.
They scored 17 points.
The Rams that year,
they were going up and down the field.
On everybody.
Three points.
It's going to be very,
important to get somebody that can coach Lamar,
and put him in the best situation so they succeed.
That's what the utmost.
But everybody's going to come and say, oh, yeah, I got this great scheme.
Oh, Lamar's going to be yada yada.
Everybody, oh, you know, I'm trying to sell myself.
I'm on a job interview.
Oh, I'm more than qualified.
I got five degrees.
Yep, putting your best foot forward.
No.
I don't think, I don't, I don't think Stafers gives the right fit for Baltimore.
I could be wrong.
I don't think he's the right fit.
Obviously, he knows that division, having coached in that division, what, six, seven years.
He knows the division, knows the personnel in Cleveland, but I don't think that's a good,
I don't think that's a good fit, me personally.
Right.
But, Ocho, they got to get defense, they got to get defensive help.
That's what they need, Ocho.
They need that bad.
Big time.
they're going to be some changes.
They're going to be some players that's been
lifelong ravens and I'm not so sure
that they're going to be,
they're going to be,
they're going to be there
or be there in a lesser role.
But they need pass rushes,
Ocho.
They need past rushes and be an absolute worst way.
Oh, he got me sick.
I believe so.
Well, you got,
you got a cold?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Yeah, I think George
and somebody got me sick.
Oh, man.
But we'll see our plans out.
I mean, I think they're going to, look, they got time.
I mean, who's in a rush to hire somebody?
I mean, you just probably let the best coach
that's on the market, you let him go.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like I said, I think they'll,
they'll bring Brian Flores in.
I'm trying to think who else got let go?
maybe they bring Cliff Kingsbury in.
Cliff normally works really good with young quarterbacks.
You see what he had, Collar.
Kyle was rookie of the year.
He had Jane Daniel.
Jane Daniels,
he was rookie of the year.
I don't know how he does with a veteran quarterback,
but hey,
but he just doesn't run the ball enough.
I think that's what rubbed Dan Quinn the wrong way.
He put so much pressure on the quarterback,
and you have a tendency to do that
when you have such an elite level at that.
But look at John Sheldon.
Turn it right ahead to James Cook.
Look what Sequan did for the Eagles last year.
Yeah.
And even Christian McCaffrey, they'll hand it to him, they'll throw it to him.
A lot of those past, it's not like McAfrey's catching ball 30 yards down the field.
He's catching Texas routes.
He's catching flat routes.
Catching screens.
Give it to him.
Let him light and lighten the load on the quarterback.
Ocho, with the Seahawks locking up the number one seed,
let's compare Sam Donald's stats year over year.
In 2024, he was 14 and 3.
In 2025, he's 14 and 3.
With the Vikings, he had 4,319 pass yards.
With the Seahawks, he had 4,048 pass yards.
He had 35 passing touchdowns with the Vikes, 25 with the Seahawks,
12 interceptions with the Vikes,
14 with the Seahawks,
he had a pass a rating of 102.5 with the Vikes,
99.1 with the Seahawks.
Clearly, how much do you think the Vikes are regretting,
letting him get out the building for the little bit of money?
And we say a little bit of money.
It's not that $40, 50, $55, $60 million that the top tier,
they probably could have had him for 30 plus incentives.
But they got to be pissed, huh?
They got to be pissed.
And obviously, I think, you know, because they picked JJ McCarthy,
he was hurt his rookie year.
We have no choice but to test our hand on who we drafted.
Let's see if he's the answer.
Let's see what he has, you know?
And obviously, seeing J.J. McCarthy, when he was at, when he was at Michigan,
they ran the ball most of the time.
They were a running team.
They were a running team.
And so now you're getting the product of what you're,
you drafted and hoping it would be better than what you already had and you let get outside the door.
Sam Donne had already proved yourself what he could do with the weapons you had around him.
And then not only that, he leaves, he goes to Seattle and picks right up where he left off it.
And that's it.
That alone tells you everything you need to know.
I would have, I would have read out of let it run.
I, because you got great, you got great reference.
Green Bay.
Yeah.
When they had Brad Farr, Aaron Rogers saw for.
couple of years.
Green Bay,
Aaron Rogers,
Jordan Love sought for a couple of years.
Yes, sir.
I'd ran it back at least one more.
Shoot, one, shoot, I'd have ran it back.
But I'm saying, yeah, you can do the cut,
but I'm just saying,
I'll run it back, I run it back,
at least at the bare middle motor,
you got to bring him back
after the season that he had.
You let the guy that won 14 games
through 35 test down, 4,300 yards,
and you let him walk out the door,
and you don't get nothing for it?
Mm-mm.
You know, in comparison to Sam Donner's numbers that year with the Vikings,
what were J.J. McArthur's numbers this year with the Vikings?
He was hurt most of the time.
I know, not even close.
No.
Yeah.
Hell, he might not even throw him for 10 touchdowns this year.
Damn.
And hurt.
Remembering this whole hurt first year.
And then he's had a hamstring issue.
Then he hurt his hand.
So.
Yeah, it's unlucky.
And there's a good chance.
I don't know how certain they are that he's the guy.
Are you,
are they certain that say that,
that, uh, uh,
JJ McCarthy is the guy?
Listen, he has three,
most of the time they give you three years.
Yeah.
You know, that third year.
Because you got to make a decision.
Yeah.
Normally that's when they come,
that's when they come back to you and,
and when you're the guy.
You look at Josh Allen, you look at my homeboy.
And that's when they come into it.
Is it okay?
Well, look, he got one more year.
Yeah.
He got one more,
he got one more under his belt to prove itself.
Are you the future?
If not,
you know how,
you know the NFL not for long,
especially for that quarterback position,
because every team understands,
unless I have one,
I have no chance.
And then Daniel Jones.
Remember they had Daniel Jones there.
Oh, that's right.
That's right.
I forgot he had a little stint there.
Hey, not.
And that comes down, the situations matter.
The situations matter.
You was in New York and you, you had flashes.
You had flashes, but not the consistency we saw it.
When you went to God damn indie.
Nope.
Right.
Turn that damn franchise.
Organizations matter.
Coaching matters.
Yeah.
Yes.
And, you know, you hear all the great players.
You hear Montana and you hear Aitman and you hear guys that played that level,
played that position at an elite level.
They talk about how.
coaching matters.
It talks about how organization matters.
Troy is still upset that Jerry got rid of Jimmy.
Oh, yeah.
He says, I don't know.
He said, we might have not won any.
We might have won two or three.
We might have not won none.
He said, but I just know we'd won a bunch of games.
Because Jimmy knows how to coach and Jimmy knows how to put a team together.
That's what Jimmy knows how to do.
He can do that.
Right.
But Sam Darno, his look, look, 14 and 3,
there ain't been a whole lot of guys.
There's never been a guy that won 14 games with one team
and the next year leaves gold and does 14 wins with another team.
That's never happened.
Because normally when a guy wins 14 games, he ain't leaving.
Oh, yeah, absolutely not.
But, hey, it is what it is.
The Seahawks reportedly set out a warning to season ticket holders
that selling playoff tickets may impact their ability
to renew season tickets for next season.
Playout tickets resale notice.
records indicate that your seat for the upcoming divisional round of the playoffs are currently
posted for resale as communicated prior to the 2025 season, 2026 renewal eligibility may be
impacted if it is determined that your season tickets, including any playoff games, were
used primarily for resale purposes. To avoid any impact to your renewal eligibility,
we ask that you remove your resale listing and ensure your tickets are used by another
12th, meaning 12th man, another Seahawk fan.
We encourage you to distribute your tickets directly to friends,
family members, neighbors, or community groups that will help us
pack lumines field with blue and green.
Don't try to make no extra buck off of us now.
If you're going to support, support all the way.
Don't try to make no money.
Because a lot of times you don't need to do, Joe.
I said, look, the Cowboys coming.
What I sell these Cowboys tickets for,
I'll be able to buy the whole season.
Oh.
Just the playoffs.
What I'll be able to say the whole season.
Hey, listen, they think it just like onus thing.
They think it just like onus thing.
That bottom line.
How can I maximize my earning potential with these tickets?
Well, hell, I ain't got to go to the game,
but I can set myself up for future games next year.
Thank you.
Come on now.
That's how they're thinking.
But, you know, the fire print says we get to determine we can at any point in time
revoke that.
We see you put these tickets up.
That's why you're responsible for anybody that's in your seat.
He, the guy, he or she misbehaved, they throw beer, they, her or racial slurs or whatever the case may be.
Right.
Yeah.
You're responsible for whomever than that seat.
Right.
You think the Seahawks would do that, though, to those who are seating ticket holders?
Seating ticket holders?
I think the thing, you know, they're trying to scare them.
They don't want to do that.
Oh, yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
I don't really see him enforcing that.
I think scare them, yes.
Actually enforcing it if you resell your tickets as someone else.
That's tough.
Yeah.
I don't want to do it, Ocho.
Because I don't know what their wait list is.
Their weight list is not like Green Bay, Washington, the Bronco,
team like that.
that got 30, 40-year waiting list to get on this, you know.
Right.
And a lot of them, when you're in those cities,
they pass those things down to the family, through the family.
So.
Right.
But you know what?
Right now, the funny thing about it is when you're winning,
those waiting lists are long.
Yes.
So right now with the way they're playing in Seattle,
with Sam Darno,
JSN having the year he did,
with that defense that they have,
oh, it's people in line waiting.
people talk about how they know, you do realize they know who sits in what seats.
So when they go check and they're like, okay, these seats, oh, these seats belong to such and such.
You're selling them.
Yeah.
They know.
Everything is well documented.
It is well documented, especially if you're a season ticket holder, all the information that you fill out.
Oh, Joe.
Oh, they know who you know where the seats are.
Who, what season ticket holder sitting in what seats?
So all they got to do, okay, uh, section, 104.
seats three and four section seat right for sale section 104 seat three and four section
seat oh you got the tickets for sale yeah oh that's that's tom and susan seats oh they're trying
oh they're trying to resell thank you okay oh okay i see what i see what's happened time y'all that's why
the NFL that's why the tickets are so high for the Super Bowl the NFL saw how much people was
willing to pay for resale
Super Bowl tickets. They say if you're willing to pay
that, we'll just go ahead and slap that
fee on your right now.
Since you're paying, since you will pay it.
We'll go ahead and hit you over the head for 5K.
We'll go ahead and hit you over the head for
10K, 15K.
Since you're willing to pay it on the black market.
I would pay it up front. There you go.
There you go.
It's just like anything, Ocho.
You get an apartment, you can't sub-lease it.
Well, I put, no, bro.
Yeah.
A lot of times,
You can't have other people over there without clearing it through the leasing agency.
Yes, sir.
Because they don't want no, they don't want no issues.
So, Seahawks, fans, be careful.
Careful.
