Well, guys, you just saw beatdown just happened. The Cowboys beat the Raiders by the score of 33,
Starting point is 00:05:28 16. George Pickens and C.D. Lam spent Dallas opening series on the bench. Coach's decision reportedly violating team rules. We'll get to that in a minute. But the Cowboys run their record to four, five, and one. So there's seven games left, Ocho. The Raiders fall to two and eight. No surprise there. Dak was sensational tonight, 25 and 33, 268, four touchdown, zero interceptions. He did have the script sack fumble. Yeah. Javonte Williams ran the ball 22 times for 93 yards. They had 31, 31, 31 rush attempts, 114 yards.
Starting point is 00:06:00 George Pickens led to charge nine carries for a buck 44 in a touchdown. CD had five for 66 and a touchdown. And Jake Ferguson had four for 16 and a touchdown. CD's kicking himself. I mean, that could have thrown a better ball. He had, he spayed himself up more than what he needed to. Right. No, he got to make that catch.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Gino 27 to 42, 238, one touchdown, one of a reception. The running game was terrible. The offensive line is terrible. the center is a god awful i don't like to say this but y'all saw it i mean how many safety how many sacks did he give up he's just he was just overmatch and oh chole this is not you know hindsight yeah ashton gentie was it's a good player yes sir but he's not the six pick in the draft because you got too many more you you take that guy right you got everything you need but if you got everything you need guess what ocho you're not picking six in the draft right
Starting point is 00:06:54 He's not Ladanian Tomlinson. He's not Adrian Peterson. Yes, sir. But you rewarded him as if he was one of those transformational running backs. He's not. I mean, when you watch him play in college, obviously, we was able to do at Boise. Boise State, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Yeah, at Boise State, it was phenomenal. He had a phenomenal season. But then you take into account, you know, when you stepped up in competition. Yep, yeah, I hate saying that. I hate saying that, but you have to take that in account and what he was able to do against them. I think he played against Penn State.
Starting point is 00:07:31 And he did fairly well, but it's much different as opposed to coming into the NFL and using that as an assessment and him being able to have success at this level, especially when you go to a team that is bad as the Raiders are, you have to be that much more special as they run it back. You have to be one of those generational talents. You need to be Barry Sanders. There you go. To be able to overshadow how bad they are.
Starting point is 00:07:59 He's not Barry Sanders. He's not LaDanian. He's not a, he's not a, uh, Peterson. He's not that. He's not one of those transformational backs, Ocho. Hey, and, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Go ahead, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:08:13 He's good. Yeah, he's good. He's not, he's not them. And he's not good enough to overcome how bad the raters are. Let's put a look at that. And when you need multiple things, Hey, Hey, Ocho, I got a house.
Starting point is 00:08:28 You know, and the house ain't that's 50. I don't need to spend $35,000 on the couch. Right. I ain't got no refrigerator. I ain't got no microwave. I ain't got no stove. I ain't got no bedroom furniture. I ain't got no living room furniture.
Starting point is 00:08:39 I just got a $35,000 couch. Ain't got no TVs. They needed too much. Right. To spend that pick on that guy. You needed a quarterback to be honest with you. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, whoa, whoa, no, hey, listen, they got a quarterback.
Starting point is 00:08:55 They just ain't got much to work with. You hear me? Who got a quarterback? Who, the Raiders? Man, stop it, don't you? Okay, anyway, listen, for better context, for better context, for those that are watching, I want you to think about Adrian Peterson. Wanted you think about Adrian Peterson when he was with the Minnesota Vikings?
Starting point is 00:09:13 Yes. They didn't have much, uncle. No. But he ain't Peterson, though. I know, I'm just giving people context. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, I see what you're saying. Okay, I see what you're saying. To be able to affect the Raiders and have them going in a positive light,
Starting point is 00:09:27 despite them having so many missing pieces to be able to make a difference. You would have to be like an Adrian Peterson. Yes. But he just not that very, very good player, no disrespect to Young Bull, but he just. Let me ask you a question. Do you think the Raiders are going to go into draft this year and get a quarterback? Shit. Yeah, I mean, what do you think?
Starting point is 00:09:48 I'm not sure. Yeah, absolutely. Okay. And guess what? Well, they probably would have screwed him up. He wouldn't have been what he had Jackson Dart. Hey. Hey there.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Dr. Jesse Mills here. I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health. And I want to tell you about my new podcast called The Mailroom. And I'm Jordan, the show's producer. And like a lot of guys, I haven't been to the doctor in many years. I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't. Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone. Depends which bone.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Well, that's true. Every week, we're breaking down the unique world of men's health, from testosterone and fitness to diets and fertility and things that happen in the bedroom. You mean sleep? Yeah, something like that, Jordan. We'll talk science without the jargon and get you real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about. It's going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between. Men's health is about more than six packs and supplements. It's about energy, confidence, and connection. We don't just want you to live longer. We want you to live better.
Starting point is 00:10:52 So check out the mailroom on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows. The Big Take podcast from Bloomberg News dives deep into one big global business story every weekday. A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market. What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside.
Starting point is 00:11:33 He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE, index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Sacred Lessons, a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing. What do you tell you? How men that are hurting right now, everything's going to be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it. And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath, which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as peoples just breathe. Next to the wound is their gifts. You can't find your gifts unless you go through the wound. That's the hard thing.
Starting point is 00:13:09 You think, well, I'm going to get my guess. I don't want to go through all that. You've got to go through the wounds your life. listening to other people's near-death experiences, and it's all they say. In conclusion, love is the answer. Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Goutura Podcast Network, available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. If one of us wins, we all win.
Starting point is 00:13:33 I'm Ashley Reifeld, and I'm the host of the Women's Skateboarding Podcast. Good luck with that. Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record, part news brief, mostly group therapy. a place to talk about the past, present, and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding. This week, me and my co-host, Nora Vasconcelos and Alex White, we have Fabiana del Fino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida, whose grit was forged in a family of athletes. Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys' club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being
Starting point is 00:14:04 grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry. Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when they maybe started paying attention. It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking clips and receipts, and still having to prove your worth while the industry catches up. You break down the door, sick now, like, hold the door for everyone. We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry that wasn't always built for everyone.
Starting point is 00:14:29 So listen to good luck with that on IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. But they probably would have screwed him up. Yeah. But the Raiders need, they need a lot of, the defense, with the exception of Crosby. Yes, sir. Ocho, you need, you need corners, you need safety, you need linebackers. You need a lot of stuff. 36 was playing scared.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Ocho, you see him up there like, oh, oh, man, this is George Pickens. Damn, what am I going to do? Yeah. Catch this ball. How in the hell am I going to get him on the ground? Oh, goodness, Lord, have mercy. Hey, listen. Why did y'all call this coverage that's going to make me cover George Pickens?
Starting point is 00:15:10 Well, you play for the Raiders. You play for the Raiders, Unk. A blind man knows when you play for the Raiders. What coverage are you playing? Are you playing man coverage? You playing man coverage for sure. You're playing man. You understand and know that going into the game.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Boy, this is the bright lights. This is the bright lights. This is the game you want to get up for. You want to be playing against the Cowboys. You want the world watching. You want everybody watching. When you as a defense back, I get to play against Citi Lamb and George Pick.
Starting point is 00:15:41 you got to be chomping at the bits for a battle like that. Mm-hmm. Not to want that as a competitor, as a player. But the Raiders are so, Ocho, the Raiders are, they're so bad. They need so many things. They need an offensive line. They need a defensive line. They need something to go.
Starting point is 00:16:02 If I'm Max Crosby, I want to get out. Y'all need Max Crosby. You see, you see Miles Garrett, and we're going to talk about this, going to talk about this is having a historic season he has no impact on them winning no and it's unfortunate because he has 15 sacks with seven games to play there's a great chance he's going to break that record that he's going to end up with 23 24 sacks and it's going to be for nothing they're probably finished with four and 13 yeah max crosbie is unbelievable he can play to run now he's a hard guy to block because you never because he he's
Starting point is 00:16:37 like a junior say i rest his soul you never know where it's going to be He's supposed to be outside and then he crosses your face. You expect him to cross your face and now he bulls you back into the back field. So he's a really hard guy to block or to line up and you can line him up on the line. But he's not going to be, he's never, he's not going to win there because there are so many pieces away from field. Ocho, I can't tell you like the receivers. I know Locket. I was like, oh, that's Locket.
Starting point is 00:17:04 That's the one that used to be in Seattle, went to Tennessee, ask for his release because he wasn't getting any to catch it. Oh, Cho, they ran down in the red zone. Hold on, what's the guy? Let me see. Tucker. They run it like a tail for two. Yes, sir. Me and my quarterback would say, look, probably in this area,
Starting point is 00:17:23 if we run this play, I'm not going to get over the top of him, put it on my back shoulder. Yeah. Because he's running to a point. Ocho, I can't get over the top of him. I run out of the end zone. Hell, I'd be in Henderson. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Hey, but hold on, you're talking about in the first half, right? Yes, yes. See, you know what? That comes with chemistry. That comes with rhythm. Could you see where Gino Smith threw it? Can Gino, Gino was thinking about. Yes, back shoulder, yes.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I'm throwing on your back shoulder. And he just kept running. So, I mean, if you threw the ball the right way, it would hit the line back in the back of the head. But see, that's like, okay, that's, man, what, what, Ocho thinking? I don't know, because Ocho didn't tell me what he was thinking. Okay, Gino need to relay that to him.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Yeah. It don't do no good for Gino to throw it on his back shoulder because the guy is running it like they drew it up. He's not better enough to understand if I can't get over the top. He's going to fit this ball on my back shoulder. Yes, sir. So now all I do, I'm a haul buddy like I'm trying to get over the top. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:18:20 I'm going to open my hips and I'm going to catch the ball right here. And it's going to be a touchdown. And all that come down to, especially as a receiver, and we saw something similar to this. The type of throw, I go back to the Jets game. Yeah. Just game with A.D. Mitchell. You know, when they were in that, it was somewhere.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Oh, yeah, the insert, he went outside and, yeah, they crossed, yeah. And everybody's seeing every, and obviously the DB's in trail, so it's not a perfect ball over top. What's the best place to put it with the DB trailing right behind him, put it on his back shoulder away from the DB. That's on the end on his inside hip trying to catch up. It's a perfect throw. Same thing here, you know, if Tucker could have, could have understood
Starting point is 00:19:00 and had more control of his body, it would have been an easy, relax and pitch and catching you got your problem with a d mitchell was on show the way he had his hands have a ball this high off the ground and you try to catch it like this you got to scoop your hands up on it like this yeah now you got to make your hands like their bucket you can't catch the ball because guess what even if you do catch it when you hit the ground poop it's going to pop out and the funny thing those are small nuances on those are small nuances when it when it comes to younger players and veterans that you already know yes no but i mean it's unfortunate the Raiders
Starting point is 00:19:37 They need a lot on They do They're bad It's going to be a long time Because you understand How long it takes to build a team Yes Very long time to build
Starting point is 00:19:47 A competitive team Where you can compete Especially in that goddamn Conference they end Oh you mean the division With my home Bold Necks and Justin Herbert I know what you meant
Starting point is 00:19:57 AFC West Division yeah Shoot Now Now the thing that I look The best thing to happen was picked George Pickens was to get out of Pittsburgh. He had gone comfortable.
Starting point is 00:20:10 He wasn't going to be, uh, he needed some, he needed to be somewhere where they could get him to football and he'd be happy. Dat can get him to football. He's happy. He's playing happy. He's playing hard. He's tried, he reminds me, now he ain't the same bill, but he reminds me the way he plays like T.O.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Every time Tio caught the ball, Tio trying to get to hit his head on the goalpost. Every time. Bye-bye. Every time George Picking, you catch hell getting him on the ground because if you think he's just going to go down oh yeah i got him he's going to go down no he's not he's not going down yeah and he's tough to deal with because he has that mindset that oh you're scared i can tell you're scared look at your back at all you're scared hey give me a smoke rock give me give me something quick let me get my hands on it
Starting point is 00:20:58 and now i take care of the rest i do the rest i take it i'll do the rest uh he he's been he's been everything that the Cowboys could have hoped for and more? And more, yes. And more. Now, look, the record is what the record is, but he's played exceptionally well. Phenomenal. He's played really, really well.
Starting point is 00:21:19 And, you know, Dad threw the ball well. And, you know, Dad can have these games. Yeah. If you don't pressure that, now he's going to pick you apart because he got the weapons to pick you apart. Yes. I mean, it's shooting fish in a barrel. He got pick.
Starting point is 00:21:30 He got a CD. He got Ferguson. Jake Ferguson. I like Jake Ferguson. He's not a guy that got great speed, but that trust him. He's where he's supposed to be. He make good catches. He's a solid tight end.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Is he McBride? No. Is he La Porta, no. Is he Leopolden in Chicago? No. Is he worn at the Colts, no. But he's a very good tight end for what they need because they run everything outside in.
Starting point is 00:22:02 A lot of those teams run things. Inside Out. With that being said, Ocho, what did you like about what you saw from the Cowboys? Man, they look good. And then the first thing I wanted to talk about, I couldn't wait to actually get on the show. And I said, after that conversation with number three, after that conversation with I had with three, and I told you he wouldn't have no more problems. I told you he wouldn't have no more problems. Especially on the field, on the field stuff. Now, off the field stuff, you have to be able to control because I got him to understand. I say, young boy, you got to remember. and I use examples of other players that were stellar.
Starting point is 00:22:37 I use examples of other receivers that have been easy. You know, hell, I even used myself at one point to kind of get it through his head and get it through his head early. You know, when you have a team giving up on you with a special talent like yourself, all right, that door's starting to close. Now, it might not have closed all the way, but it kind of alerts other teams like, listen,
Starting point is 00:22:56 if we can't deal with them, man, y'all can take them as good as you are, you know what that means. You know what that means. Now, you're not going to get too many chances. you're not going to get that much grace because there's always somebody else they're willing to deal with that's not going to bring that kind of problem despite despite how good you are so he's been oh this is what he's always been huh oh for sure this is what he's always been so i'm just glad he can flourish he can shine
Starting point is 00:23:20 he's playing he's smiling he's still he's still in an NFL young boy he's still that you know he didn't lose that that's who he is oh joe and i love it all he didn't It didn't lose what makes him special. I think the worst thing, the worst thing that happened to him is that he went to Pittsburgh, who has a history of receivers behaving in this manner. Go back and look at it.
Starting point is 00:23:45 We don't have to call any names, but you go back and look at the Steelers' history at Y receiver position. There's a reason why most of them don't get second contracts. Yeah. If you really look at it, if you really think about it, Ocho, only one has really gotten a second contract. That's Heinz Ward.
Starting point is 00:24:03 A, B, got a second contract, and then Yeah. But they let plaques go, Santonea Holmes, they let Mike, what's the fast dude? Mike Wallace. Mike Wallace. Emmanuel Sanders.
Starting point is 00:24:17 And Emmanuel was a pitcher, but, you know, they just had too many. They had too many guys. They had to make a decision. Number game. Number game. Some guys, but I was like, damn, what is it in Pittsburgh?
Starting point is 00:24:27 Did you all make? But he's figured it out. I'm glad you had a conversation. with him. I'm glad he realized like, bro, you can sit your grandkids grandkids up for the rest of their life. And that you're good. And you straight. And that's exactly
Starting point is 00:24:40 what it's going to be too now. I can't wait to the off season. Oh, yeah. I can't wait to the off season. Now, I know Cowboys fans, I know Cowboys fans are loving pick. I know they're loving what he's doing there. But when I think about it, I would love for him to go to another team, no disrespect
Starting point is 00:24:58 to Cowboys fan, to go to another team, as much as he possibly can as much as he possibly can to a quarterback to a team that is efficient offensively that can also get in the ball where he can be at the number one and be on his own team
Starting point is 00:25:12 where he can get 10, 11 targets the game they can put him in positions to make he getting that now he got 11 tonight oh yeah yeah yeah yeah but it's all look we got to be fair pick pick is what he is he's a phenomenal talent
Starting point is 00:25:26 but the rate is a trash hey you might go out there You might go out there get five for 40, Ocho. Hey, five for 40. Five for 40. Listen, hey, let me. Stay with me real quick. You throw me five NFL balls right now with the way I'm in shape.
Starting point is 00:25:43 And if they put me, if you put me in positions to be able to manipulate the defense, I might have by 160. Ocho, they're going to put you going to catch one pass and your hamstring's going to give out. Me? Yep. you think so yeah i'm in shape i robbie running huh no you're a real like that when the last when the last time you had a football in your hand and ran full speed yeah exactly i'm glad you said that i'm glad you said that i haven't had a football in my hands but i do
Starting point is 00:26:18 have to run full full speed when i play soccer on the weekends you know you know i play soccer with the jamaica yeah i know you play soccer on the weekend i get you hey hold on hey this ain't field. This was the Jamaicans. Have you ever seen Jamaican play soccer? They don't play. They don't play. It's like being, it's like playing football with no pads and everybody got damn fast. Yeah. And a thing about it, I don't mean to be off topic. I don't know. I'm sure you had Jamaican friends. The Jamaicans I play with, it's an entire league. Everybody's Jamaican. The whole stadium, everybody. I can't understand the word they're saying. It's as if they just got here to the states. They're speaking patois.
Starting point is 00:26:59 What? And within the way they talk, they talk so angry and so loud, it seems as if they're arguing, but it's just a regular conversation. Mm-hmm. They be telling me stuff on the field. I just smile and say, okay.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Yeah. I don't understand nothing you saying. But anyway. Oh, Joe, C.D. Lamb and George Picking spit the open series on the bench, coach's decision, reportedly, for violating team rules. I just don't get these guys.
Starting point is 00:27:24 I don't. I don't. And like I said, It is this new way now. I guess, I guess coaches and things you're just going to have to accept, players are going to be late. Players are going to blow out things. We're going to talk about Abdul Carter sleeping through a walkthrough.
Starting point is 00:27:40 I'm just at a loss, Ocho. I'm just out of loss. I really am, Ocho. I really am. I don't really think it's asking too much at your job to be on time. I mean, your boss, you supposed to clock in at 8 o'clock, 8, 30, 9 o'clock. You're like, nah, I think. I come at 10 today.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Right. Or, oh, you know, we're supposed to have a big meet and I just sleep through. I'm just, like I said, maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just old school and I'm asking a bit too much of the players to be pros not only in your occupation, but how you go about your business. Yes, sir. Maybe it's just, I'm just old school. Maybe I'm wrong.
Starting point is 00:28:19 I'm wrong. Man, you know, I'm not sure. I'm not sure what it is because obviously with the NFLP asked for. the CBA, they don't practice as much. I think they get more rest. I mean, so there really is no excuse. So we would have to actually ask the players, what's the issue? What's the problem?
Starting point is 00:28:37 There have been many, obviously in the last two weeks. There have been many situations. There have been many incidents with players being late. And most of the time, some of this stuff is swept under the rug. It's swept under the rug, and they discipline them behind closed doors and they still allow them to play. But now coaches are standing firm, you know, and their decisions. And stuff that is supposed to be in-house is being.
Starting point is 00:28:57 being leaked out. Well, when you saw your two-star receivers and the first series, they're not on the field and they're healthy. Now, if they're in street clothes, that's one thing. They're standing on the sideline, Ojoo, with shoulder pads on, and neither want to end the game. You know something's up. Yeah, listen, it could have been
Starting point is 00:29:13 part of the game plan. Could have been part of the game plan. Exactly. So, so I was like, okay, and everybody's like, well, it's crazy that your two-star receivers, bro, there's a disciplinary problem. Because if they were not healthy enough, they
Starting point is 00:29:27 wouldn't even be in uniform. Hey, what you think? Which is the idea? Probably late to a meeting. Late to a meeting or something. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Flight, something, yeah. I just, like I said, I don't, that's just me. I just think the thing is that I got one job. It's not like I have a whole bunch of jobs going on and things like that. I, all I got to do, hold on,
Starting point is 00:29:48 y'all going to pay me millions. I mean, we didn't make what they make it now, Ocho, clearly. Right. But still, that was good money. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:54 And I, just to be, I'm just, I've just always been a stickler. Even now, when, you know, we got to shoot the dude for club Shay, Shay, Shay, the guests say they're going to be there. I'm going to be there like 15 minutes earlier and 15 minutes early. And to make sure I haven't gotten made up and everything like that, I just, I just, my grandma's like, boy, don't be the cowtale.
Starting point is 00:30:12 That's just, that's just, that's just, that's just, wait, don't be the what? Don't be the cowtale. Don't be the last one, you know, the cowtale is the last thing to come in. Yeah, I like that. Come into the barn. So I just, uh, that's just the way I am. During the game. Dez tweeted, George Pickens, I want you to understand that whenever it's time to negotiate your new contract,
Starting point is 00:30:31 your legacy will be worth more than being the highest paid receiver. If you stayed in Dallas, there's a lot more to the thought process, but think about it. Hey, Des, I love you, but you know how Jerry is when it comes to paying a player his true value. George Pickens has one time to maximize. He has one time to maximize everything he can get. It's not going to come from Jerry. Cowboys' fans, I love you to death. I know you're excited about George Piggins
Starting point is 00:31:02 and what he can do for you and your team. Not just now what he's doing, but for the foreseeable future. But Piggins is behind the A ball when it comes to getting paid. All his counterparts have gotten paid already. Then I got a new contract. All his counterparts.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Hold on, didn't he come in with Chase? If I'm not mistaken, I don't, don't. I think he came in with Chase. There's got to be his fourth year. Isn't it? 2, 23, 24, 24, 25. It is or no? Is it fourth?
Starting point is 00:31:36 Okay, no, he came in a year after. This is fourth season. Yeah, oh yeah, it's time, huh? It's time. But here's, Ocho. It's time. And, Dan, I'm not going to say I'm going to, I can't see, because two things,
Starting point is 00:31:47 I'm a firm believer, two things can be true. Yes. I just remember when Dad's got his contract, Dan's was the highest pay player. Hmm. He didn't take land. he wasn't worried about his legacy. He didn't.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Dad's with the highest page. Go look at it up, Chad. Y'all know what I'm talking about. It's going to be interesting to see because two things can be true. Dan's like, okay, his legacy, but is Pitt going to be one of these guys that we talk about like we do random moms,
Starting point is 00:32:19 like we do Jerry Rice, like we do Fitzgerald, like we do Calvin Johnson? And listen, the way he's playing right now, he possibly could. He possibly could be. I know one thing. Forget the conversation pieces. Those are cute. The legacy, yeah, that's cute too.
Starting point is 00:32:33 But you can't eat with that. Pay no bills with that. It's great when you're in the barbershop and we talk about we're talking football with the fellas. Yeah. It's fine and dandy. It's a good thing. It's a great conversation piece. Yeah. But that legacy, making sure.
Starting point is 00:32:50 You know what's your legacy is, Ocho? Your last name, what? Johnson you also your last name Johnson you got seven others last name Johnson your legacy is what the hell you do for them and how you leave them situated after you long gone come on NFL legacy my kids can't eat that they can't go to private school on that they can't go to college on what I did what I did the NFL come on come my legacy is what I've done for the name on the back Shannon Sharp yes I played my ass off for the Broncos because they compensated me handsomely I played my ass off for the Ravens. They compensated me handsomely.
Starting point is 00:33:26 But my last name, I got people that's depending on me, and I need to put them in a better situation than what my parents and grandparents could put me in. That is my legacy. Hey, it ain't even Sunday, boy, but you're preaching, you hear me? Well, you, and you spit that hot fire. Hey, hey, give me, give me one more verse, now. Hey, hey, just ask some of that. And the legacy, that's what I want my legacy to.
Starting point is 00:33:53 to be. Yes, sir. I want my legacy to be how does Shannon. What does Shannon Sharp do for his family? How did he leave them situated? Shannon Sharp has been gone 25 years. 40 years. Mm-hmm. Man, in 35 years, there's nobody going to be talking about who man, man, man, you remember a three for the cowboys? No, they're going to remember George Pickens' kid, the grandkids, grandkids, like they do to Rockefellas, like they do to Kennedys. Now, now that's their legacy. That's a legacy. Yeah, I like that. I like that. That's a good one. That's a good one. The fact of the vision and leaving the legacy and it all being situated and
Starting point is 00:34:33 surrounded by the Dallas Cowboys. No. I love the, look, I want the man to do. I want everybody to get. That's why I tell the players, look, be on your best behavior. Don't give him any money back. Get all the money you can because there's a likelihood. Everybody ain't going to be like Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:34:52 can make just as much money in retirement as they did when they were playing. Tom's making 30. Everybody ain't going to be Tony Romo making 19. Everybody ain't going to be Troy Aitman. So the money that you make in that period, that finite period of time, that's what's going to have to sustain you
Starting point is 00:35:07 for the rest of perpetuity, for the rest of your life, the rest of your kid's life, your kids' kids' life. That's my legacy. That's what I want my legacy to be. Fine. If everybody, hey, because a lot of people like,
Starting point is 00:35:18 hey, Shannon Sharp, you're talking about the guy that podcast? He played football? I'm like club shay-shay-shay shout a shock oh I got grandkids and yeah don't have great grandkids my legacy is that I left them in a position better than I was left in yeah so at some point time oh cho we we did what we did so we can stop I didn't want my kids to grow up like I grew up yeah I'm sure my mom didn't want me to grow up like she grew up got some of it not all of it but I got somebody have to pick
Starting point is 00:35:56 cock that's my legacy dance I'm not saying that you're wrong but I just remember when you got your money mm-hmm you got all of it yeah and 14 million you're the highest paid you didn't say you know what Jerry hey Jay break me eight you know what if I'm not mistaken it was five years it was four years five years seven male ooh my 30-something guarantee dad I don't mean to count your pockets but I'm saying you didn't say you know what I want to stay in Dallas really really bad because my legacy means more in Dallas than it would somewhere you say Jerry give me every dime that I've earned not that I
Starting point is 00:36:33 deserve that I've earned yeah yeah see people like no you don't get what you are you don't get what you deserve you get what you earned yeah he are and dad's earned that contract y'all remember this was got dad dad's 16 touchdown dad was housing it then was taking shell across piecing folks out. Out. 50-50 ball was 90-10 dead. Every time. The real deal.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Hey, and listen, don't let him hit the end zone up because you know what he's going to hit you with. Yes. Yeah, real deal. But listen, it's just based on Jerry Jones, based on the way he's handled other players that were elite at their position, especially when it came to time to pay him,
Starting point is 00:37:18 drawing things out, waiting to the very last minute, having issues making it a circus not taking care of the player not putting the player first but having his own agenda and in way of doing things i just don't i meet personally i don't want that for pickings he's done enough he showed his true value now there's a team that's not going to play games that's not going to make a circus that's not going to make them make him make a training camper or make him hold out that's going to give him the true value and what he can do on the field and it should be superior top number one money and I just don't think he can get that at the Dallas Cowboys
Starting point is 00:37:55 even if the numbers are close let's just say the Cowboys say we got 32 million for you and another team got 34 million I will stay with Dallas because guess what I'm going in state tax they ain't no state tax yeah going somewhere else let's just say you have to go now if the other team I go to Las Vegas Raiders now the question is Ocho the question and we see this with Miles Garrett got paid having an unbelievable season but he's losing how
Starting point is 00:38:24 well can you do because you see we see a lot of guys that's losing Ocho making a lot of money they ain't happy yeah boy it sucks going out there in the cold yeah hey like ooh and getting your eyes beating yet the checks are nice when they hit direct deposit but as a competitor you do what you do in order to give yourself a chance to win yeah and it sucks knowing that I go out there you know what man I ain't really got no chance to live mm-hmm Hey, you know, I don't, I know it was a hypothetical. I don't even like the numbers you called out as an example.
Starting point is 00:38:56 No, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just saying, I know, I just do out a number. Yeah, I'll be, look, the way, the way it is now, it's going to be, it's going to be, it's probably going to be north of 35 million. Okay, okay, uh, uh, uh, who was it? Jetta signed that deal two, two years ago. So we're going to be three years coming in. Yeah. No, we can't look.
Starting point is 00:39:17 And I get it. I don't want to hear what this is an outlier contract because they did this for the longest time with defensive players when the Dominican Sue signed his number. Yeah. His big contract. They're talking about this was an outlier. I don't know nothing about no outlier.
Starting point is 00:39:29 I don't know about no outlier. I don't know about no outlier. I know you a damn liar if you think I will take this bulljad contract. That's what I would tell him. So. So, oh, Joe, here's the Cowboys remaining schedule. They got the Eagles. on Sunday.
Starting point is 00:39:49 They got the Chiefs on Thanksgiving. Then they're at the Lions. They got the Vikings at home, charges at home, on the road at the commanders, on the road against the Giants. So the next game, Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings, Chargers. That's the next five. And the best part about it, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:40:12 Yes, sir. For the fiber at home. That's a great thing. the bad thing about it is now the cowboys look good today huh but they weren't they weren't playing a competent team they weren't playing a competent team that's good on offense or a competent team that's good on defense right most of the teams on that schedule on one side of the ball they're really really really good yeah so they're going to have they they they don't listen they're going to have it they're going to have some fits they're going to have some fits now offense this game this game
Starting point is 00:40:48 Sunday's going to tell us a lot. A, going to tell us a lot. Because you know the Eagles, the Eagle, A, not that they got Jalen Phillips, and you got other people on the opposite, that defensive line to worry about, you got, you got Davis and you got Carter and you got,
Starting point is 00:41:04 I think Hunt, I think, 97, what's 97 for the Eagles? What's his name? They got him on the other side, they got people you got to worry about. He's going to be hell. So probably what's going to happen. Mitchell would take pick.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Dijing because what's you call Lines up mainly in the slot CD he'll probably deal with CD That's how they kind of played it last time Right Or Joe mo, that's 97 for the Eagles
Starting point is 00:41:32 They got another dude that was Is it 96 that was Batten down passes last night? Okay But they're going to get some work And the lions, now here's the thing, you get the lions in that building to get them on turf. You get them in a closed environment, a controlled environment, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:41:54 The temperature is 72 degrees. Oh, yeah. The footing is solid. Mm-hmm. And listen, there's a good chance they won't look to where they did against some goddamn Eagles. No. No, absolutely not. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:42:09 I do not expect them to look like they did against the Eagles. Hey there. Dr. Jesse Mills here. I'm the director of the men's clinic at Houston. CLA Health.
Starting point is 00:42:34 Depends which bone. Well, that's true.
Starting point is 00:43:04 We don't just want you to live longer. We want you to live better. So check out the mailroom on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows. The forces shaping the world's economies and financial markets can be hard to spot. Even though they are such a powerful player in finance, you wouldn't really know that you are interacting with them. And even harder to understand. Donald Trump's trade war, 2.0, is only accelerating the process of de-dollarization, which in a way is jargon for people turning away from the dollar.
Starting point is 00:43:38 That is where the big take from Bloomberg podcast comes in to connect the dots. How unusual is a deal like this? Unprecedented. Starting point is 00:46:01 good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record part news brief mostly group therapy and a place to talk about the past present and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding. This week, me and my co-host, Nora Vascenzelos and Alex White, we have Fabiana Delfino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida, whose grit was forged in a family of athletes. Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry. Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when they maybe started paying attention. It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking

Starting point is 00:46:54 Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. So right now, the National Football Conference, here are the seven teams if the playoffs were to end the day, that would be in the playoffs. The Eagles would be the number one overall seed, followed by the Rams, the Bears, the Bucks, the Seahawks, the Packers, the 49ers. Detroit, Carolina, Cowboys, and Minnesota would be on the outside looking in.
Starting point is 00:47:21 But there's seven games left to play. Yeah. And guess what? Now you play your way into the playoffs. This is where you play your way into the playoffs. I'm excited. Oh, Cho, Jamar Chase, we had this conversation last night. Jamar Chase was suspended one game.
Starting point is 00:47:38 The one game suspension will cause him over half a million dollars, $448,333 in a game check, and $58,824 in an active roster bonus. Chase plans to appeal and argue this one game suspension claiming that if it was going to spit on Jalen Ramsey, he would have spit in his face and not on the man's jersey. The ground. Ocho. Ocho, that's not, come on, Ram.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I mean, come on, Chase. He didn't even talk to the media. I know that's what in Rappaport said is that he said if he was going to spit on Jalen Ramsey he would have been in his face and not on the jersey the ground yeah I don't think he said that okay he declined to talk to media he declined to talk to everybody today obviously you know once you get out of watching film on Mondays he declined to talk about what I guess his team put that out but anyway uh i don't know how i don't know but first of all you said you didn't spit so whether you was spitting on the ground or you would have did x y and z you said you didn't spit
Starting point is 00:48:49 that's what you said you said that after the game yeah now the all that oh cho you know they shoot everything may you know they shoot everything in 4k and you could actually see it yeah yeah You can see pimples on an ant booty from the moon. That's how good the cameras are, Ocho. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Chase, appeal it. But I mean, I just think you should, you know, Carl Ram and say, bro, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:49:17 My emotions got the best of me and leave. And because this one incident, this is not you. I don't believe this is you. I'm surprised that we actually have Ocho and I'm having this conversation. And you're the topic of the conversation because you're ensnared in this. I wouldn't have believed it.
Starting point is 00:49:34 If you would have been the very last person, they said a receiver, there are some other names I might have would have went to, but I wouldn't have been. I wouldn't have put that itch. I wouldn't have put that on you. No. So I hope,
Starting point is 00:49:46 I hope that's what Ian Rappaport said he said, his team said, or he said, I don't believe it. I'm going to say, let's just say, but for the sake of, but you did spit on it.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Whether you would have, what you would have done, you spit on the man. and it's going to cause you, but you'll learn from it. I don't believe this is the type of person that you are. We've all done things that we're not our finest moment. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:15 And I don't think this moment should define Jamar Chase. There are going to be a lot of other moments that we can look back and define a Jamar Chase with. This is not going to be your defining moment. but the best the best apology, Ocho is change behavior. Don't let something like this happen again
Starting point is 00:50:35 and we're going to be good, bro. The funny thing about it, when we talk about change behavior of the players, I'm not just speaking on Jamar Chase in general, the change behavior most of the time, you know, he's going to make you forget about it on the field.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Yes. It's going to make you forget about it on the field and we never had problems out of chase off the field anyway. No, you don't. Never have a problem from it. So when you think of a hypothetical, if this scenario or this situation never happened and he just thought of some players
Starting point is 00:51:01 that it would come from, it wouldn't come from him because he's one who causes no problems. The problem he calls, it's on the field. Correct. Fuck as hell. That's it. That's why I struggle. That's why you struggle. Because you know him better than I do
Starting point is 00:51:16 and there was never any indication. He's so laid back. He's so, if you watch it when it does an interview, he's sitting back, he chill. He's sitting back like this here. All the time, yeah. So he, and a little bit that I've been around him. I've been around him a couple of times during an autograph signing.
Starting point is 00:51:32 I saw him at the Super Bowl. He's a chill guy. Yeah. He's not one of these high, strong guys that, you know, that's liable to go off. He's really mild mannered. Yeah. So that's why it's so surprising. But, you know, look, like I said, you know, this season was supposed to be different.
Starting point is 00:51:54 They missed the playoff last year. he had the triple crown. He's the first triple crown said my brother to win that and not make the playoffs. My brother won the triple crowd in 92. They didn't make the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:52:06 Yeah. He won the triple crown in 24. They didn't. So almost 30, almost well, over 30 years. Yeah. So it doesn't happen often
Starting point is 00:52:14 because there's not a whole lot of people that win the triple crown. It's hard. Very hard. So you got to have, you got to have the most catchy yard than touchdowns versus everybody,
Starting point is 00:52:24 not just the NFC, but the AFC as well. Sometimes you can have yard. Sometimes you can have catches. And then somebody nips you with touchdown. He had both. It's kind of like winning the triple crown in baseball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Yeah, you could have a 380 baton average. But you got 40 home runs and somebody got 50. Or somebody drives in 135. That's why it doesn't happen that often. Mickey Cabero was the last one. Then you got to go all the way back to Yass. Call you Skrimski. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Yeah. say who okay yeah so or the same thing in horse racing you know hey you might win that first two but that mile and a half at the Belmont's that's it that's hey oh boy yeah if you notice not a lot of horses just like hey forget it they just say they're like I don't even worry about it right we win the Kentucky Derby we'll skip the pregnus we'll see you at the Belmont right I mean it was such a long time and then I mean because everybody thought it was easy you get secretary in 73 and then you get uh seattle saloo in a firm back to back year 77 78 and then it's like well it's man it's too hard it's too hard it's too
Starting point is 00:53:36 hard and then you get american fayroll do it and then you come back with uh justify bob baffirc two horses yeah it's hard it's hard you probably had more triple crown winners in baseball than you had in horse racing but uh and it's difficult Hell yeah, for sure. And you, you've been, you've been to the Kentucky Derby before? I've been, Ocho. We got, hey, it's all about, Ocho, it's all about the hat. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:04 For a man and a woman, it's all about, I've seen women come with some hat and be barefooted. Be barefooted. Yeah, yeah. I'm talking, because they, I don't know, for some reason, it normally rains. Yeah. But, Ocho, these lady have these hats. I mean, one lady had a hat. I mean, this hat was way out here like this here.
Starting point is 00:54:29 You know, you boy, we had to have a hay. Oh, yeah, you, hey, hey, um, you was at there, Shaw? Huh? You were sharp? If a fly lit on, if a fly would have landed on my, Ochoa, cut his throat. You see, you're messing me up. You're messing up the ensemble.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Yeah, I will clean, Ocho. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I didn't, you know, I didn't have been there a few times. Obviously, when I was in Cincinnati, it's right, it's right down the street. Right, right. As a matter of fact, hell, hell, I flew into Cincinnati and drove over.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Throw down, yeah. Yeah. Right down the street, man. It's a great event. I only did it one time. You know, I'm not in that kind of. That's why I met, I met Bob Baffert. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:09 Him and his son. At the time, I met, rest of soul, I think, D. Wayne Lucas. I met a couple of them. Yeah. It's a great. It's an awesome sport. It's unbelievable, Ocho. Because it was on my bucket list.
Starting point is 00:55:23 I, you know, I've been to a world. World Series. Obviously, I've been to a Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby. I want to do Daytona 500. I went to a, I want to do Wimbled. Huh? Listen, do me, do me, do me, do me, do me, do me, do me, do me to give yourself some justice so you can understand the experience. When you go to the Daytona 500, do not let them put
Starting point is 00:55:43 you in a suite. You need to sit in the stand so you can get the Oh, if you're to feel them go around that track. Yes. Yes. You got to be able to experience it. You got to feel those cars coming around. You know, the energy, the all. the stands you got the oh man it's it's crazy man it's crazy I mean it's it's something about when you feel when you feel 800 horsepower well 42 of those cars and they go in 180 190 miles an hour and they're this close close they're
Starting point is 00:56:11 this close yeah and those cars are damn they're upside down mm-hmm unbelievable hey boy hey hey hey would they be a day they bunk draft that that's a rest of the Terminator, Dale Earnhardt, boom, boom, slingshot down in the back. Oh, man, I got to see that one. I got to see that. I want to see Wilmington because I went to see, I saw the U.S. Open.
Starting point is 00:56:36 I saw Serena. Mm-hmm. She just got married to a couple of years ago to David Lee. She, uh, the dane, the tennis player. She married David Lee, the basketball player. I saw her and Serena play a semifinal at the U.S. Open on a Saturday night. What's her name?
Starting point is 00:56:58 Wosniakie. Yep. She married David Lee. I think they got a couple of kids. Because I saw them in, I just saw them in Vegas. Maybe for the Super Bowl. David Lee,
Starting point is 00:57:09 Michael Phelps and his wife, and it was David Lee and Wosniacki. But man. Oh, you got it. Huh? Yeah, you look at your boy. Hey. Hey, boy, without me.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Hey, boy, you're clean, eh? Hey, boy, you're clean, eh? I see you okay you clean you clean little something I pulled out I was in a hurry was in a hurry all right yeah yeah yeah oh Joe we might have to jump down there club shay shay shay I mean a night camp might have to go on the road
Starting point is 00:57:41 at the derby hey listen I get my hat ready right now don't don't tell me hey because you know when it when it comes to put them put them things on no I put that I put that I put that you know what on there I'm ready yeah we're gonna do little something on you. We're about to go and do something for two something. Hey, speaking of horses in Kentucky Derby, my daughter, my daughter, Chachau,
Starting point is 00:58:01 she plays tennis, unks, she's phenomenal. She's phenomenal, and she loves horses. I said, I love, she said, Un, I'm going to blame my mama. I'm going to blame my mama. We went riding horses this past week and a weekend before last.
Starting point is 00:58:17 She asked me all about types of horses and telling me about saddles, and I'm like, man, we're in the world you learn all this stuff at? I'm talking about she's really into it so I'm like okay okay cool okay be in your pockets too hey listen so as soon as we finish riding you know the first thing Christmas coming up
Starting point is 00:58:34 so the first thing I do I'm talking to the lady we're on the trail we ride and ask the train I say um you know what horses run how must they cost okay a thousand fifteen hundred for something simple okay what please I ain't getting nothing too expensive now you know she she's young now
Starting point is 00:58:50 so I'm like okay what about boarding what about feeding Do they have places? Do they have places out here? Yeah, that's what you spend the money. You know, they have bored? It's like, yeah, that's what's a cow horse. There's bored. So I ask her, I say, well, listen, I'm leaving my information and, you know, send it to me.
Starting point is 00:59:08 And the numbers and what it costs weekly, monthly, and for the year. And I'm thinking about, you know, getting my daughter. I'm thinking about get a Pasifino. I don't want none too big. I want some of a little small where the ride is smooth and a Pasifino. would be perfect for her. Yeah, I'm just curious. I'm kind of excited.
Starting point is 00:59:28 I'm kind of excited for her because she loved him so much. And I think that would be one of the best breast surprises for one of, one of my 85 on Christmas morning. The thing is, Ocho, is that, yeah, you get a horse for a decent price. You probably spend $1,500, maybe $5,000 on a horse. What you got to put into it, completely different. But to board it and to feed it? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:51 But see, and too, also, you had to understand where I live. in Miami out that way, you know, because I'm further up north and west a little bit, ain't nothing out there but horses and stables. That's it. And when you think Miami, you think South Beach, you know, all the nice stuff, but I'm out there in the, I don't even know what you want to call it.
Starting point is 01:00:08 You know, you go to Walmart, you go to Target, and when you're driving, it's people riding horses up and down the street, like we ain't goddamn Texas. Yeah, I'm serious. That's how far out I am from everybody. Oh, Joe, Mary Kay Cabot. When she reports all things, Browns, I listen.
Starting point is 01:00:28 George Sanders is expected to start Sunday in the game against Las Vegas Raiders with Dilling Gabriel and concussion protocol. Barring something unexpected, Sanders will make his starting debut becoming the 42nd different quarterback to start for the Browns since 1999. Kevin Stefanski was asked today if he changed anything, how refs were divided up among quarterbacks.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Let's take a listen to what he had to say. Would you have changed anything about the approach about how you maybe divided up the first team reps from training camp to now? Yeah, I understand the question, Cam. I think it's important that you do what you think is right for a football team. The development of our players is constant. It doesn't happen just in one drill or in one practice or one meeting. So we trust our guys.
Starting point is 01:01:18 We trust our backup players to be ready to go. and Shador is ready to go. Obviously, I know he wants to play better. I want to coach better, all those type of things, but that just comes, that'll come through work. That's where it will come. I like what he just said, I like what he just said. What do you say?
Starting point is 01:01:38 He contradicted himself a little bit. The key word that he just said, up, develop. Develop. The only ways to develop is to get the reps. Yes. Just in case. You need to be, you need to develop. And just in case scenario,
Starting point is 01:01:52 with those you're going to play with on Sundays. That's how you develop. If you have a, if you got an officer period, you got 707, you got 20 plays, five of those plays, have to go for number two, just in case. If you got team period and you got another 20 plays, the 15 plays, five of those plays, maybe that's a little bit much.
Starting point is 01:02:09 If you got 15, at least three of those plays. Yeah, normally, normally 10 to 12. Everywhere I've been, I'm not saying some people might have had that, but we never went more than 12 plays a period. Yeah, some, some, maybe the last. Go lie wasn't that many. you probably had about four or five plays on goal line. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:24 But those situations towards the end of the plays in that period, they need to go to your backup quarterback. You know, that's how you develop. That's how you make sure you ready just in case something happens until your number one quarterback. That's what they didn't do. And a lot of people, you know, making fun of, oh, you said he'll be ready.
Starting point is 01:02:43 Oh, he said he could play. Listen, I don't care who you are. If you don't get reps with the number ones, it's not like a plug and play and all of a sudden you go out there and you're going to change things. They already need help. They already need help
Starting point is 01:02:57 as it is offensively, you know? So to think he's going to come in there and be all world without actually practicing with the ones, come on, man. It's the NFL, man. Come on. Stop that. I think the thing is, look, I've heard a lot of people say, well,
Starting point is 01:03:13 look, I've only been to two places. And And the backup got reps, especially because I was in Baltimore. Trent Diffel was our backup. Trent Diffel was the number four pick in the draft. Right. And guess what? He got reps backing up Tony Banks.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Tony was the starter. Hey, Tony. Hey. I give you another example. My next year, Elvis Gurback was the starter. Randall Cunningham was the backup. Randall got reps. Randall had been a starter with the Eagles, been to the Pro Bowl.
Starting point is 01:03:47 went to the Pro Bowl with the Minnesota. He got reps. So we got two veteran guys that's taking reps. But this, you're not going to give this guy any reps. And then you expect it. And then somebody said, Tom Moore said, Peyton Manning took all the reps. Ain't nobody getting no reps.
Starting point is 01:04:10 When Peyton Manning got hurt and nobody took no reps, asked Tom Moore what happened to the whole staff. From the general manager down got fired. You know why? Because the guys had taken no reps. Right. It wasn't ready. And it wasn't ready.
Starting point is 01:04:26 And everybody got fired. Yeah. And guess what happened? It's the fancy you don't have to fancy going to have to fencing. I'm got to worry about that because the person who wants to do the firing came out publicly and said, this isn't my pick. This is not who I wanted. Yeah. True.
Starting point is 01:04:44 So for me, I just like I said, I'm not saying, look. saying you get a guy he's a backup and you got a rookie quarterback but it's hard for me to see a scenario because i always thought it was funny because they said well he's not he's not even running the scout team uh uh what's the guy uh bailey zappy right he came from somewhere else and was getting me and got and jumped me in over should do her yeah i said so what what what are we supposed to deduce from that mm-hmm it's just hard i just couldn't imagine it would be hard for me to go into a game in which I took no reps
Starting point is 01:05:20 and I'm out there with Ed and Rod and John and TD and it was hard enough being a young player and you get in a couple of reps everything is happening so fast you got to remember okay I got this route now but if this guy comes I'm hot but no is this protection
Starting point is 01:05:43 so instead of taking one it's going to take two because the back's going to stay in and take one. So if the other guy comes, now I'm hot. You got to remember all that. But I got to get in and out of this break too because John ain't got all day. This ain't 7-07 now, and they can't blow no whistle. They're going to blow the whistle when he picking his ass up off the ground.
Starting point is 01:06:02 You know the one thing I hate too on. What's that? Which is very hard for a rookie. Not only you're not getting no reps in practice, forget that part. Practice is slow. Yeah, for sure. Practice is slow. When you get into the game,
Starting point is 01:06:15 and everything speeds up. Everything is sped up. It's crazy. It's crazy. It can almost be shocking to you when you get in there with the number ones. This ain't the goddamn preseason, huh? No. It's the best of the best.
Starting point is 01:06:29 The best that they had to give you. And when you don't have those reps or the officer line, like one of the linemen came out and said, I wasn't used to as cadence. It's different. That's very important to an offensive lineman, though. Very. So, I mean, listen, if I saw the reports, I think Shadour would be starting this week.
Starting point is 01:06:49 So he has a week under his belt to get himself ready, to get himself prepared. And now the offense can be predicated, and the play calling could be predicated to his strengths and what he does well. Knowing him, what the type of player is, I think they're going to throw the ball much more. And lean on brother, brother Jenkins to, you know, to run the ball when they need to and when they want to. Judkins. Yeah, Junkins. Junkin, I'm sorry. What did I say, Jenkins?
Starting point is 01:07:17 Yeah. My bad, Juggins. I'm not excited for him. I think the thing is, Ocho, that he will push the ball down the field. Oh, yeah. That's how you get, you produce points, but you got to push the ball down the field. Yeah. I'm not saying just arbitrarily just throw the ball up and just hope, but I'm saying they're, they normally call something to the flat, something mid and something deep.
Starting point is 01:07:41 Yeah. Um, also should do her house was broken into last night during last night's game according to multiple reports. It's unclear if anything was stolen during the break in and the suspects haven't been identified, but it marked the latest instance of athletes, homes getting burglarized, uh, while they're playing or what, you know, they know when basketball players are not going to be home. They know, hey, man, that's your door house.
Starting point is 01:08:08 Man, he's playing the game. He ain't home. Um. I mean, it'd be tough, Ocho, having that, having the type, you know, you come in the game, you're excited, you don't play as well as you're hoping, then you get home, and it's, it's the ultimate violation. It is. I don't know if you've ever had your house broken into, but I had mine broken into.
Starting point is 01:08:31 Oh, yeah, you, yeah, you told me. They stole some stuff that, that, yeah, watches and stuff. It was a lot of sentimental value, Ocho. because the watches that I had is that they were meticulous. I had to wait a year, had to wait three years, had to wait four years before I was able to save up and get the watch. So it meant a little bit more to me than the watches I was able to get to replace them.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Right. But my 84 chain that my brother gave me. Yes, so. I had a medallion with all my kids, name on it, a dog tag. Damn. So it was one big K and then all the kids named. They got that. Uh, my cuff links.
Starting point is 01:09:17 So it's, it's, it's an ultimate, it's, it's, uh, you, you feel betrayed. You're like, um, that's one of the, that's one of the reasons what I wanted to move also. Right. Because I was like, man, I can't, because it never happened. It never happened. I remember the times I would, you know, I would walk the dogs and I would leave the door a lot. Mm-hmm. And just this one time I was going for about an hour and come back and.
Starting point is 01:09:38 An hour. That's it. I was going for about an hour. God damn. Yep. You see? You know what? You know what I think nobody has ever robbed me?
Starting point is 01:09:49 Can I tell you why? What? What have I always preached about since I've been in the leagues in 2001? Ain't nothing I'm wearing what? Yo. Earings, chains, white, nothing. Ain't none that real. So what you're coming to my house for?
Starting point is 01:10:05 You're mad as hell. You know, there's something. that I've always priests, always priests, you know, over and over and over. And, you know, now, now it's a little different. Now it's a little different because, you know, I was able to set aside enough to now I can treat myself. I can enjoy myself and, you know, and, you know, get a little, get a little bit of out of character when it comes to the fruits of Malabwe and enjoy it a little bit more.
Starting point is 01:10:29 But I never had any issues like that, huh? Yeah. It was, I mean, I've heard of people like, it happened, you know, I'm like, man, And they say, Shanna, you just feel so violated. Yeah. The freedom and the independence that you felt that you thought you had is never going to be the same. And it's not, you know, you become very, very, very skeptical and, you know, just don't want to trust. God, damn, I'm still thinking about that.
Starting point is 01:10:59 Boy, you were going for an hour? I was gone for an hour. Yeah. And it had to be somebody you know, man. Golly, man. Yeah. Well, I think the thing is, maybe they would, look, they were just, I don't know. But that was, that was the hardest part, man.
Starting point is 01:11:15 It's just like the stuff that they stole, man. I had worked so hard. I mean, from 90 from, I think, my brother gave me my first Rolex when I graduated college. So I started getting Rolexes. The one that, oh, boy, gave back to me when I went back in and said, let me get that right there. I had to trade that in on something else. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Oh, okay, okay. Let me get that right there. Wait, you had a Rolex in college? Uh, once I graduated. God damn. What I graduated? Once I graduated college, my brother bought me, got me a Rolex. Uh, I never forget, uh, oyster flex band, two-tone, stainless steel and gold.
Starting point is 01:11:55 Uh, I'm proud of you. Yeah. Rick Brustor. That's a lot. Too bad, you know, I, man. It's, uh, are you ever had one of these? What's that? What is it Cassio, 1983?
Starting point is 01:12:12 No. Oh, yeah, I had, they used to have a, Yeah, the digital. You remember, what, do you, were you old enough to where I watch when they had the digital watch craze? Yeah, oh, man, I'm 50. Well, you squeeze, hey, you squeeze it,
Starting point is 01:12:26 and it light up. Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so funny, it's so funny. I got, I still got my old gold, my gold my gold cassio I got a calculator watch I got this this 1983 Cassio
Starting point is 01:12:43 yeah what else I got one more Cascio watch that's all black I'm talking about classic back in the days you know when you go to school and you have math class
Starting point is 01:12:53 and you test you'd be able to use it to cheat on your time yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I know I know exactly what you're talking about they got that I had a an AP or LeBron
Starting point is 01:13:03 they did a LeBron did an AP with a leather strap, it was gray, 600. I'll never get walked in. I mean, I had to go through, jump through Hula Hoops, I feel like, to get that watch from the AP. Because I didn't have a purchasing history. You know, everybody wants you to have a purchasing history.
Starting point is 01:13:20 Yeah, I hate that. Matter of fact, I hate that with Rich Armelie. Rich Armin. Pat Tank. You got to have. Odomar's Spiget. I'm like, sir. Vacheron, AP, Jorn.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Hey, I'm like, sir. Fijorn, excuse me. Yeah. I'm like, sir, come on, man. Same thing with Irma, Ermes? You ain't been to just walk it off the street and get no bag? I see the thing with Ermeis, I already had a purchase history. So if I get, I'm able to skip it.
Starting point is 01:13:47 Oh, you got to hit. Really? You don't say. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got a person's history with Armas way back from like 11 years ago. You know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about it. Chat, y'all don't find that. Y'all don't find that odd, huh?
Starting point is 01:14:02 This man got a person's history with Pat Tech and L.P. Jorn and Otomar's Pigeet and Richard Mill. No, only Richard Meele. And Hermes, Vacheron, Ulysses, Nardt, and I can't get my bread. Chad, y'all don't find that a little bit. Y'all don't find that a little bit. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. I said I got your money.
Starting point is 01:14:26 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I need you to put it in my pocket so I can have my money. I say, you know what, you keep, you keep pressing me by this money, and the funny thing about it, trying to make it a Christmas gift for you. How are you going to make my money a Christmas gift? That ain't no damn gift you got my money. Give me my gift.
Starting point is 01:14:42 You give me my gift. How did that make, chat? Y'all need to make that make sense. This man going to give me my money and say it's a Christmas gift. Yeah, that, uh, I want to feel like a gift. Because listen, Christmas is all about giving. So it's the perfect time to give you your money back on Christmas.
Starting point is 01:15:00 Chat. Y'all ever had that happen, chat? Somebody gave you something that's, yours as a gift. Hey, let me, you know what? My grandma always said, anytime you lend money out or you bet money, you should, you should, you should,
Starting point is 01:15:16 you should be able to have enough to be able to withstand that. I ain't got it. I did, but there was a, uh, uh, uh, some extraneous circumstances that took place. I ain't got it no more. I ain't got it like I was had it. So I need that $50,000 to come in handy.
Starting point is 01:15:35 It'll do something. It'll do something for me, Ocho. Hey, let me take yourself out. Even though, listen, we've all had our trials and tribulations. We all have ups and we had our downs. We've all had the peaks. We've been to the valleys through the highs and the lows. One thing about God, the God is a good God.
Starting point is 01:15:51 Huh? Absolutely. Hey, listen, and what they take it, he can replenish. Timpo. And the funny thing about it is going to happen when you least expect it. You can be like, man, what the hell? It just, I'm telling you. Let me tell you how the man work.
Starting point is 01:16:05 I know how I believe it yeah okay because I'm I'm a living I'm a living witness hey the only thing is Ocho is that he wake me up every day he gave me life I got breath in my lungs you good my grandfather used to always tell my brother and I he said if I take you somewhere I expect you to go I expect you to be able to get back here I take that same approach. If I made it once, I can make it again. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Oh, Joe. Now they say with interest, that 5900 is 67. 67 what? $6,700. Interested. American dollars? Yeah, America.
Starting point is 01:16:50 U.S.D. Well, what kind of, what you, you're acting like, you acting like Trump with the terrorists. Yeah, yeah. And guess who paid for the tariffs? Who?
Starting point is 01:17:02 We do. I ain't got it. I ain't got it, $6,700. But that's going to pay that going into child support. Man, French Friday ain't able to have no Christmas. Me, I mean, you know, my kids, I mean, grandkids, they won't, you know, won't cars and iPads. And I was like, well, if I pay you $6,700,
Starting point is 01:17:21 how my kids are going to have a Christmas? Hey. Hold on. Forget that. How am I have Thanksgiving? Hey, I mean, you got me. I'm going to have to go down to the shelter. I heard they have a good meal down at the shelter.
Starting point is 01:17:33 Nobody knows. The trouble lies. Hey, see, seven, I got, listen, I got to get my kids, Christmas gifts. I got to get my woman. I got to get her, you know, her gifts and what she won't, you know, like, I got you, though. Hey, I told him, I say this year, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, leap year, December 25th. Yeah. Yeah, we skip it over.
Starting point is 01:17:55 We go into, I'll see you next year. I'll have you, don't you. Hey, hey, you know, it's supposed to happen. It's supposed to be February 29th. In December 25th, we're going to meet right on over. it. I get you next year. Hey, that's funny. Oh, Joe, before we move on, let's take a listen to the classic response to do a half of the Browns fan booing Dylan Gabriel last night. Take a listen. I'm extremely thankful. Um, well, first, let me say this. When Dylan out there planning all that,
Starting point is 01:18:25 I appreciate the fans. I appreciate everybody, but they don't, it don't really, I'm a good person overall. So I don't really like him not feeling comfortable, confident, you know, when he get out there. So, you know, it puts everything in a tough spot, you know, and it's not helping the team, you know. So that could be taken as, okay, I'm being a distraction. And I even know I ain't doing that. You know, I'm not doing that. But I'm thankful for the supporters, thankful for the fans, thank for everybody out there, you know, that believes. And yeah, when I got out there, I definitely. felt him and you know I'm truly thankful for it and yeah I'm just thankful I'm out here you know I'm thankful for the opportunity thankful I've seen all them 12 jerseys out there and it was a great feeling yeah that's that's something you can't control I'm sorry it's your door yeah by the way listen no matter what you say that's something that you can't control those fans in Cleveland have had to deal with quarterback roles but who knows how long on 30 I'm not sure how many years it's been and when things aren't going well they're in the boot it doesn't matter who you are
Starting point is 01:19:37 they don't care that it makes you uncomfortable it they don't they don't care that it that if you're playing bad they do not care they've been going through it for a very long time they've been going through it long than you've been alive you know sure you need to understand that so when a quarterback does come in there they're expecting they were expecting something different than what they've always seen year after year after year after year and that that just how it's going to be They've been dealing with it for a long time. So you got to understand that and why they're booing. You know, they're not booing just for what's going on right now.
Starting point is 01:20:10 They're born for all the years. Shit ain't been right, too. Yep. You're right about that. And look, a lot of it, and I'm sure, you know, obviously you boo players, but a lot of this has to do with his dad. A lot of it has to do with the dislike that they have for his dad.
Starting point is 01:20:29 And they couldn't boo his dad because his dad was so great.
