it's good to be right.
Good evening, everyone, and thank you for joining us
for another episode of Nightcap.
Wow, we have some very exciting games today.
The latter game kind of got out of hand late,
but it was very exciting.
What, six three, three at the half,
maybe three at the half.
I forget the score, but then all of a sudden,
the defenses took over,
but Drake May was able to make a few more plays than,
than, I forget the quarterback's name.
What's the top of my head?
Justin Herbert, but Drake May played really,
well. Ocho, these defense were getting after today.
Tonight's game,
big sacks, five sacks.
They were hunting pressure the quarterback,
but like I said, Drake May made a few more plays
at the end of the ball game, and they were able to win this game.
They're going to be a tough out.
Whoever has to play, obviously, we know
the winner of the Pittsburgh,
Tennessee game will take on
the Patriots.
And Buffalo goes to Denver.
We just don't know. I don't know if we know
when they play. Denver will probably
be played. Denver will probably be
play Denver will probably play Saturday because the winner of the Monday night game,
they're not going to make them turn around and play Saturday. So there's a greater chance.
I think there's probably a 99% chance that game is the Denver Broncos and the Buffalo
bills will play Saturday. That's what my guess will be. But thank you guys for joining us for
another episode of Nightcap. Y'all know who I am. I'm your favorite unc. And that is my partner

the Premier and the Red Carpet.
We'll be streaming live with some of our friends,
especially a special party,
and they're all heading over to the red carpet with us.
As you can see on the screen,
you see some of the people that we have in there
that's going to be at the show with us.
That'll be, we got BDK,
We got Jai in there.
Joe fat, Joe Crack.
So we got some of the heavy hitters out of the NYC
coming to tag along with us and hang out.
Have a good time to see you, see your boy, Ocho, and Joe.
We're going to have a great time.
Andre Drummond, BDK, Boris Kojo, Brian Burns, Dave Eats, Fab,
Fat Joe, J, Jaroo, Jim Jones, Joey Badass, Kazim,

So, hey, we go.
Hey, what, what you're gonna wear?
We're gonna have to go to the red carpet, so I'm, I'm just gonna wear a, uh, a,
okay, okay, so, okay, we're going to the rare carpet, right?
And, yeah, from once we lead the party.
Oh, so you, you're not gonna bring a change of clothes?
No.
I don't know, boy, I'm, I'm gonna, I'm gonna bring me.
Well, you go right ahead.
I'm gonna bring me a change of clothes, because, you know, what it is?
I got to put that shit on, boy.
Yeah, I, wait.
I'm gonna have it on.
I'm gonna have it on.
it.
I'm going to have it on.
We can't play. We can't play.
We got to make a stake. We got to be like,
like me and you. We got to be like Coleman Domingo.
We got to step.
No, that ain't, that ain't my thing.
Okay.
That's you. That's your thing. You're going to have a, like I said,
I'm wearing, I'm shirt, suit.
Okay, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
You too nonchalant about this.
You said red carpet. You are an extension of me.
Therefore, if we're going some,
as one, we're a unit.
We're a unit.
So you got to come on now.
Yeah, I'm going to be not.
I mean, I've never shown up any where that wasn't dressed appropriate.
Hey, you be clean, now.
You be clean.
Yeah, but I'm saying, but you know, Ocho, like, you know, we, we're going to be out.
We're going to do my thing.
Okay, okay, okay.
But it's in partnership with Netflix, so we really appreciate Netflix.
You allowing us to collab with you and do I think, Ocho and I do our thing along with
Joe.
Thanks for allowing us to do this.
guys night out. It's going to be live on
YouTube. Netflix, the RIP,
also sponsored by
Shay Shay Media. So guys,
look for that. That's Tuesday night.
Hey, we got some big things
coming. We got some other things that we're working on
that you'll see probably later
at the beginning of March, maybe even April,
but we got Ocho and I working on some things
we think you're going to like. The Patriots
beat the Chargers by the score of 16 to
three. Our first wild car game this
weekend that wasn't settled by
more than four points, and
one that after the two-minute drill
because, you know, Buffalo took the lead
at two-minute.
The Bears took the lead.
We saw the game before that.
So the games early, three of the four games,
three of the four games were really, really exciting.
This game was exciting.
I mean, you didn't really know
until the Patriots broke the game open.
It's the Patriots first playoff win since 2018.
Oh, Joe?
I don't know about you, but Patriot's defense.
Hey, boy.
They look.
They look very good. They look very good. And listen,
the charges, the charges
defense went to shabby themselves, man.
They want to shabbed themselves.
Oh, uh, O'Dofi, I think I'm saying his name
right. Uh, Henley.
Oh, he was at the Ravens. Oh, that's him.
They traded him, they let it, they trade him to the rate. I mean, he had
Zito Sachs. He goes there. He has seven and a half to finish
the season. He had two tonight. Oh, yeah.
Obviously, too, Lou.
Mm-hmm.
the song the warrior he was doing his thing but if you look at the page sir
this is why one of the first signings when they could get somebody was big Williams Henry
Williams remember he was on Philly remember he was raised the hell in the Super Bowl he was giving
you work calvon chase on he was putting in work anthony and pharney jenning he was putting in work
barmore they're unbelievable up front and that back in they didn't they didn't lie them a whole lot of
to throw the ball.
And when he did have time to throw,
a lot of those throws were very, very contested.
Absolutely.
Their defense is, I'm not even going to say underrated,
because they've been playing very well all season long.
I can't say underrated.
They are a very well-coached team.
They are very well-coached team.
They are.
They are.
They are.
There's a lot of discipline that goes into what Vrabel brings to that team,
a lot of structure,
and that Patriot Way still lives on in a sense.
And the fact that they had that one centerpiece,
the fact that they had that one centerpiece,
and goddamn Drake made
is the reason why everything seems
so fluid and
and consistent for them.
That's the only word I can think of.
They've been fluid, fluid, and very consistent
all season long. So I'm excited for the Patriots.
I think this is the first time
they've been to
make sure I say it the right way.
They want a playoff game since 2018?
Is it 2018?
Yeah, I thought it was 2016.
When they won the Super Bowl.
Because remember the next year, Tom Brady lost in the Divideon,
the Wildcard round to the Titans.
I have a question.
I mean, your honest thought, based on how they look this season,
how they look tonight, and obviously, you know,
once you get to the playoffs, you know, points are at a premium.
You can't really make mistakes.
You really can't turn the ball over.
There were some turnovers, but the defense's played so goddamn well.
It didn't really affect the game or the outcome.
No, for the Patriots, for that matter.
But how do you see them fairing as the season goes on into the playoffs?
They're going to be a tough out because there's a great chance they won't have to leave Foxborough.
They're going to get the winner of Pittsburgh, the Texans.
Now, we know the Texans break a defense.
And the way that you say they're not underrated, but we don't talk about the Patriots defense like we talk about the Texans.
Like we talk about the Broncos.
We don't talk about them like that because they don't have, I mean, the Broncos with 20 sacks of head of everybody.
And you see all the all pros that they have.
You know, Benito, he didn't make, but he made the pro bowl.
Zach Allen was an all pro.
Fonga was a pro player, you know, so they had a lot,
Zach Allen was an all pro and a pro bowl player.
So they had five, five or six all pro, I mean, pro bowl players and all pros.
And so we talk about them.
We talk about where, where, we're,
Landerson Jr. We talk about some of those guys,
even though Shazir did not make the Pro Bowl,
Danelle Hunter could have easily made the Pro Bowl, Petrie, Stigley Jr.
So, but we don't talk about the only person that you really
mentioned on that defense is Gonzales.
Hey, hey, well, he's nice, boy.
Oh, yeah, he flew it. But you see what he T-Step, though?
You see how he teased him?
You notice, and when Quentin Johnson ran that, um,
yeah, I did notice it.
Well, he got up out of that thing so goddamn fast.
Yeah.
But you look at Milton Williams, you look at Caleb on Chase-on,
you look at Anthony Jennings, you look at Barmore, you look at those guys,
they got guys that hunt.
They got guys that hunt.
And they're, like you said, they're very disciplined.
They're where they're supposed to be.
Now, one time on that Forbes Down, when they got outside,
a Bravewood took the no, bro, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh.
I'm glad it's ford-down, but you got to get, you got contained.
Don't, don't get cute.
don't get cute uh-uh stay where you're supposed to be and if they beat us with where you're supposed to be
that's on us that's coaching we can live with that but don't get beat out of position
that's that coach bellichick in him because the one thing i played against bravo played against him
when he was in pittsburg and played against him when he was in new england he was fundamentally
sound if he was supposed to have contained you were not going to hook him if he hey hey if he got to
set the edge oh joe you go into the sideline you're going to the sideline you're going to the
line, you go to, you, you have to be out of, both of y'all be out of bounds, but you're not getting
that age.
You know who else?
If I'm not mistaken, he was on one side.
Was Willie McGinnis on another side?
Yeah.
Willie, Willie, Willie was more, uh, uh, was Willie.
Yeah, Willie was Willie, it was him, Willie.
Vince Wolfram was there then.
Wolfram was there.
Uh, obviously Bruce Geh.
They had Ted Johnson.
Uh, Thai.
Lawyer Malloy had.
left by the time they had already traded lawyer of a lawyer.
Rodney Harrison was there then when I played them the second time around in Denver.
But they were they were fundamentally sound and they're fundamentally sound now.
You can tell the way that Brable took that I don't know how much of his coaching style
because he seems a lot different to coach Belichick.
Belichick showed no emotion.
Hey, they knock it.
A brable ass on the ground in a bust his lip.
You know, Milton waved up bust his lip.
He hugged him when you got that sack.
to basically end the game.
He's like,
man,
this mofo to bust my lip out here, man.
But they have fun.
He's allowing him to have fun.
You see him,
hey,
him and Stefan Diggs.
From the time he's like,
hey,
we've explained to Stefan
while we brought him here.
That's not part of the reason.
They haven't had any more issue with Stefan Diggs.
Stefan Diggs has been great.
Thousand-yard receiving scenes.
He's leading that young group.
Drake Mabel leaves in him.
Bouté making plays.
Who?
and Hunter Henry, all those guys making plays.
Guys just making play.
Oh, sure, they're going to be a tough out.
They're going to be a tough out.
They're going to be a tough out.
Now, look, obviously, Buffalo and the Broncos,
Buffalo blew the Broncos out last year,
but I think they're a different team.
I think they're a better team,
but Buffalo's not to be played with
because that quarterback is as big as big time
in the moments as they come.
Look at his resume.
Nobody averages more total yards,
yards per attempt.
Hey, he's big time when it comes postseason.
Now, he's a different guy.
Hey, basically every game, for the most part,
he has that C-phone.
And he put it on again today.
Yeah, most different.
You know what I don't like?
We'll get to that game.
We'll get to that game.
I'll get there.
Yeah.
But I'm looking at the staff, Socho,
16 to 3,
let you know, I mean,
and a lot of people don't like, you know,
people like office.
People like Green,
people like Green Bay, Chicago.
People like Carolina Rams.
That's what they like, Gocho.
We like 35, 31.
We like 31, 27.
Man, three points.
That's all you got.
You pay 60 minutes and ain't given three.
Whoever get the ball last.
I like them time.
Yeah, yeah.
You like to be some suspense.
Yes, sir.
Man, you're down with 40 seconds to go and you down 13 points.
There ain't no suspense in that.
None at all.
You tried to, you tried to.
to cover. You tried to cover the spread now.
But yeah, this was a very,
this was, this was a, this was a, this was a,
game kind of how I thought it would be.
Um, I thought both defenses played really, really well,
Lochelle. They played really well. I mean,
turned the ball over defense like, okay, y'all,
y'all got a turnover, but y'all ain't going nowhere
with it. I don't know why y'all took the ball from it.
And, you know, and now Justin Herbert is
over and three in the playoffs, obviously during the regular season,
he plays extremely well. He plays extremely well.
I just don't know at what point he's going to get over the hump.
because the players and the quarterback that he's going to have to face in the playoffs,
they ain't going to where.
They're good.
Them ASC quarterback's not going to where.
And this was a good chance for him to be able to make his statement in the playoffs.
And he just hadn't been able to do so.
Like, good quarterback.
You're talking about Justin Herbert, right?
Yeah, Justin Herbert.
Like, they can get nothing going offensively, man.
Like, nothing to know, Ocho, this is what we know.
And we're going to have to have a conversation.
And that's what we do.
He had a 20.
27-0-0 lead against Jacksonville.
They lost.
Last year, he threw four interceptions against the Texans.
They lost.
Tonight, he scored three points.
Now, Jim Harbaugh,
and this organization is going to take a long, hard look.
Y'all better get some protection for the young man.
Now, it hurt that they lost Slater and they lost all.
They both are real.
So that's two guys, but y'all got to shore that thing up, man.
Y'all can't have it is.
Them two, they lost.
They just ain't know anybody.
them your anchors.
No, no, no, no, no.
That's your foundation for that offensive line.
So losing them, that's, that was, that was a big, a big blow.
Mackay Beckton didn't play well at all this year.
He didn't play well at all this year.
As opposed to how he looked when it was over there with them with the,
he played okay, but they handed him his ass tonight.
Absolutely, absolutely.
He's been up.
They handed him his ass tonight.
He's been very inconsistent.
He has, he has, he has, he has, he has, oh Joe.
But I, but I, but I don't want,
I think the charges, and we watched them play in their good team,
but I think tonight was more about what the Patriots did do
and not allowing the charges to do what they wanted to do.
This game was more about the Patriots.
And I think, and I'm glad people got an opportunity
because you and I have to watch a lot of games,
and we watched them play.
I was like, I'm telling you,
they ain't got no big names, they ain't got no big names,
you know, they ain't got no guys that's going to jump off the page.
They got Drake made.
That's an MVP discussion.
but outside of that
we watched them
we watched Henderson go down there
and do a number on Tampa
Remandre and Stevenson
kind of been Nick this year
but we know what he brings to the table
the tight ends
Hooper and Hunter Henry
they're kind of like under the radar
but they're good
they're good they're going to jump off
they ain't going to jump off at you
they're not they're not like bride
they're not jumping off at you
but they're going to make they're going to make they play
though they're just they'll make their plays
that's all they do okay that's all they do
And that's all really you can ask them to do.
Christopher Gonzalez against the charges.
He had 27 coverage snaps, five targets, no catches, no yards, two plas deflections, zero touchdowns allowed.
All I know is there's a lot of damn zeros.
I mean, you got, you got 27 coverage snaps, you got five targets, and I don't see no catches, I don't see no yards, I see past deflection, I don't see no touchdowns.
He's nice, nah.
He's nice.
I'm like, what they're anything about it is most of the time when you're as good as he is,
you know, most quarterbacks don't throw at him.
They throwing at them and they still not having no success.
Yeah, they must, the receivers, and the way it was looking like the receiver,
hey, don't throw the ball to me.
Damn.
Y'all don't want the ball.
I don't give damn more on me.
Give me a chance.
I want to see if you are what they say you are.
Look, I understand because you know, the pro, because you know,
also the pro,
we normally have the pro bowl voting normally would be
like week 14, week 15.
So when you play your last game, you put your name
up, they got the pro bowl by it.
Well, let me see why you made the pro bowl.
I'm gonna see if you really, really
deserved to be going across that water, or you're a
fan favorite. Or you get on, because a lot
of times, don't you know, there's some reputation stuff in that too.
But when we look at it, tonight, Kristen Gonzalez was sensational.
But the defense was sensational. I thought
the Patriots played, though, look, they got up,
The charges can put pressure on your quarterback too now.
Absolutely.
Tully and Mac and, hey, Henley got a pick with Hunting, Denzel Perryman.
We know Derwin James.
I think the charges might need to go get some corners.
Ain't much out there, huh?
We talk about corners that come in.
Hey, go drag, go.
Some coming out of college.
Damn.
I got to get something, though, Joe.
Because if you look at the defensive line, they can get pressure.
I love those two linebackers.
Look, they're not.
big, but they suck.
They get to where they're going in a hurry.
They're running all red lights, and they're coming with bad intent.
They sideline and sideline.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, man.
Yes.
A new year doesn't mean erasing who you were.
It means honoring what you've survived and choosing how you want to grow.
It means giving ourselves permission to feel what we've been holding
and knowing that it's okay to ask for help.

I'm Ashley Reinfeld, and I'm the host of the women's skateboarding podcast.
Good luck with that.
Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural
record, part news brief, mostly group therapy, and a place to talk about the past, present,
and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding. This week, me and my co-host, Nora Vascenzelos,
and Alex White, we have Fabiana Delphino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida,
whose grit was forged in a family of athletes. Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys' club,
what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry.
Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when
they maybe started paying attention.
It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking clips and receipts,
and still having to prove your worth while the industry catches up.
You break down the door, sick, now, like, hold the door for everyone.
We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry
that wasn't always built for everyone.
So listen to good luck with that on IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I think the only thing, you know, Darwin James, I like Jefferson, Jefferson, you know,
we had them on the show, I think they need some corners,
Ocho, I really do.
I think that's the thing.
I think that's the thing they lack it.
And they're going to go get a,
they're going to go to receiver.
Johnson is too up and down,
Ocho.
He could, but he too up and down.
Quinn Johnson, he too up and down.
He said he had a great season this year, though.
He had a great season this year.
And the funny thing about it is,
as great as Ladd McConkey was last year,
it seemed like they didn't use him the same
what they did last year.
He was making plays week in and week out.
Every time we looked up,
Ladd McConkey was doing something crazy.
And this year, it seemed to be Quentin Johnson's year.
It seemed to be his year because he played extremely well.
He played with much more confidence as opposed to how we've seen him in the past.
And Gadsden came along, Rob Day Gadsden the second.
He became more involved.
They're going to get another receiver.
I guarantee you, within the first two rounds, they get in a corner and a wide receiver.
I bet you're right.
You're probably right.
Oh, so the 49 is eliminated the defending Super Bowl chaps.
The New England Patriots by the score of 23 to 19.
wild car game. Brock Purdy threw a go-ahead touchdown, six-yard touchdown to
Krista McCaffrey late in the fourth quarter. San Francisco used the trick play, a TD toss from
Joanne Jennings, who hit Christian McCaffrey on a score. The Eagles had all in all their
starters while the Niners were missing 16. They lost George Kittle early in the game. He tore
the Achilles. That sucks, man. Yeah, man. Who you're telling? This late in the season,
this late in your career, I mean, Kittles got to be your 10-year-level.
But that being said,
Oh, Joe, Brock Purdy, man.
All I know, hey, hey, he ain't going to be,
he's not going to make a throw like we saw Caleb Williams.
I think everybody got an opportunity to see it because they've been showing it.
Look at this throw by Caleb Williams.
On for a dad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, that was a dad.
Yes.
Yes.
That was a dad.
Now people got an opportunity to see it.
Because a lot of the, you know, because it was hurry up offense
and maybe they didn't get a chance to see it.
it, but they've been replaying a lot today, and they got an opportunity to see it.
Ocho, the 49ers, I'm not surprised by this.
We've been trying to tell Eagles fans about this all.
Man, you can't keep throwing for 20 yards in the second half of the game, but we won, but we
won.
I see, you're accepting things on a win.
You never wouldn't have lost.
Now, you okay.
I got a question.
How many yards at Hurst finished with in the second half this game?
Hold on.
Oh, this is not, and this was not a great game for AJ Brown.
It wasn't.
Ocho, we try to tell him, we try to tell him.
This is why you don't make, this is why you don't make a bus.
When you not get no passes.
We're going to get to him.
We're going to get to him.
Yeah, hold on, Ocho.
Well, I don't know how many had.
He finished with 168.
So he couldn't have had that, but pull up his numbers,
what did he have had?
He was 20 or 35 for 168 yards.
Devante Smith was eight for 70.
Dallas Garland was four for 33.
Sequois was three for 25.
AJ Brown was three for 25.
Cooper was one for nine.
Will Shepley one for six.
And Johann Dawson was a, uh, zero for zero.
Hey, uh, hey, listen,
AJ were frustrated, huh?
But you can't do that.
You can't, you can't lose your,
where he frustrated?
He's dropping the ball.
Before the drops, huh?
Before the drop.
Oh, you, oh, oh, oh, you're talking about this.
I'm talking about this game in general.
Like, you know, listen.
You got to be able to keep your head locked into the game
because the minutes you get frustrated
and you're going at it with Seriani
because he tells you to hurry up and rush off the field
before the ball was snapped so they don't call too many people
on the goddamn field and you exchange the words with him
night and lost your cool.
You didn't got your focus.
Now when the ball does come your way, it beats you up.
It beats you up because you, you mean, you're not there.
And then you had two, you had two more opportunities after that.
I think you had two deep.
balls. I mean, were they catchable?
Oto, you got, Ocho, this is a playoff game.
You got to be, you got to lay out for that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you got to go get that time.
And the other one hit his hands. And then he had another one on 13, right through his hand.
The big route. We, we need, we need, I'm talking about we, but they needed that.
This is, this is the night where you need your captain, we need your captain, that got that
wears that C on the chest to lead the team. When things aren't going right,
Jail is not playing well.
The run game's not doing what they need to.
The next person to step up to lead that team
and will them down that goddamn field
in number 11.
Hurts threw for 75 yards in the second half.
He had 1608 total.
So if he had 168 total, he threw for 75
in the second half. How many did he throw for?
So that mean he had what?
90.
So he had 87 yards.
God.
In the first half, right?
If you throw 168 and 75, yeah.
Hey, that defense over there is too good, man.
That defense over there is.
Ocho, they can get no pressure.
Ocho, think about what they're missing.
They missin Bosa.
They miss it a Warner.
I'm not talking about the 49ers.
I'm talking about this is the season wasted to a defense
that played as well as the Eagles defense played all season long.
because of the offensive inconsistencies.
If you can't run the ball, you can't run the ball, you can't throw the ball.
Eagles fan, what?
I need this.
I, can I get some, I want to see the Eagles.
I want to see the chat.
Oh, you're funny.
I want to see the Eagles team.
Because they had so much to talk about.
You don't know.
Because see, let me tell you what I do know.
There have been a lot of team that's won one in a row.
You want to be impressive.
Go back to back.
That's hard.
Oh, we're going to win it.
Don't worry about us.
Eagles, what?
Is there any way I can get the chat?
Hold on.
I need to get the chat.
I'm sorry.
Hold on just a second.
I got to get the chat.
I got to see this chat because they got so much.
They always run in their mouth and they figured if you didn't know, they were the 49ers, the Cowboys when they won five, the Patriots.
They won like 18 championships in the row.
Let their fans tell it.
Let their fans tell it.
Now, they only won two championships of the last 10 years.
But let them tell it, they're the Patriots.
Oh, we did this, this, this, this.
Now, let's get you.
I got to get to the chat.
I'm sorry, Ocho, but I got to pull up this chat.
I got to, it's a must.
You know, people got to understand how difficult it is to go back to back.
You got to go back to back.
No, but listen, and you can't, you can't win it.
Who begins, Ocho.
On this platform of Uncle Ocho, name a guy that's been on Uncle Ocho that's been back to back.
You would think, you would think if, if I were to go to the dog,
Dr. Mia Eletrage, who's one of the foremost orthopedics in the world.
I would think he'd know something about an ACL.
I would think he would know something about an Achilles injury.
I would think he'd know something about an elbow, a Tommy John.
I would think he would know something about that.
But Eagles fans, you guys don't have nobody on your roster,
know what has liked to go back to back.
I do.
Now, I just want to know one thing.
Do I have your attention?
I should have your undivided attention
because you don't have anything but time now.
You ain't got work no games to go to.
Damn, huh?
You got nothing to do.
But listen to Uncle and Ocho.
Now, Ocho, back to our normally schedule
programming, Ocho about to take it away.
I want to talk about the 49ers, huh?
Now, I know probably coach of the year
is probably going to go to what, maybe Mike Brable.
Who do you think of the coached here?
Brable, maybe McDonald, up in Seattle.
Oh, that's a good one.
We forgot about it.
You know what you know who knew,
who needs to be in that conversation as well
for what he's been able to do.
God damn Shanahan.
You got to understand that was what we saw
all season long
with all that adversity.
The 49 has been through.
No Fred Warner.
No Nick Bosa.
My brother George Kidder was hurt
for some of the season.
He goes out tonight.
It's like five games.
No McCair Williams.
Joanne Jennings was hurt.
They prayed all you without IU.
Remember Brock Party goes down.
Mac Jones had to come in.
Um, uh, big trend.
You miss some games as well.
Hold on.
Wait a minute.
What about the linebackers, uh, they're using fourth, fifth, sixth, 20th string linebackers,
but still they find in a way to win games every time.
So coaching, coaching, that is coaching, uh, because most of the time you expect to have your starters.
And, and what happens when your starters go out and the person that's the backup,
they're a backup for a reason.
They're backup for a reason,
but would you still been able to strive and win games
and be consistent with those said backups?
Oh, Joe.
Hey, Ocho, you remember of the silence of the land, Ocho?
You remember when Dr. Chilton, he went to the sale
and he wanted to bargain with Anthony Hopkins.
And he was making them all these promises
that he told him he was going to tell him to the island
and he can go out there one hour a day
and they could turn around.
and all this stuff, he said, because you ain't got nothing now.
Eagle fans, y'all ain't got nothing to now.
Y'all have anything.
Me, just Ocho, just talking about teams that you're not going to be.
Why are you, why y'all mad at Ocho?
Oh, they're not mad, they're upset because they lost.
They lost, they lost.
Yeah, I'm definitely upset.
Okay, you're right, Ocho.
Animals get mad, humans get upset.
Why y'all upset at Ocho and I?
We ain't played.
We just tried to tell you what was going to happen.
But you know, more than everybody else.
now you man
talk about
hey do you root for anybody else
do you ever root for the Eagles
I'll answer that question next year
I only talk about teams
that currently in the playoffs
and y'all not one of them
hey I got another question
now we go ahead
I got a before you know the 49 is one
I think Shanahan
should be a part of that conversation
49 is going to Seattle
Rams going to Chicago
I think Shanahan should be in that conversation
for coach of the year
oh absolutely
Brock Purdy
hell of a game
That goddamn Chris McCaffrey, man, hell of a game.
Hey, Joanne Jennings, boy, I salute you.
I take my hat off, boy.
You show, though, you know what out the night.
Well, he showed out the night.
Demarcus Robinson.
Come on, man.
Showed out the night.
But my thing is, I'm trying to figure out the party got in trouble.
He's going against, he's throwing to his third, second, third tight end.
He's going to throw into his third, fourth, white end.
he's going throwing to his third, fourth, Y receiver against Mitchell,
all those other DPs on the field.
And you pick him?
Now, if that's Jennings, okay.
If that's Robinson, okay.
But I'm not throwing no backup at their best cover guy.
Why would you do that?
He played well.
A Keon Mitchell, nice, um, he's the real, he's the real deal.
And the fact, and the funny thing about it is, is when Slate was there
and Cooper de Jong was playing so well in the slot,
he's one of the reasons why, you know,
okay, we feel okay,
and we trust these two guys that we have,
even though they're young, man, that defense is young, huh?
Them young, they ain't really got no old hairs on there,
except, I mean, Brandon Graham came back to play,
but they ain't really got no old heads.
They got a bunch of young frat boys, man.
They're balling, and the season is going to waste
because of their inconsistencies offensively.
Who do we blame, Seriani?
Do we blame Jailene? Do we blame AJ?
You could only pay so many people.
You gave Jaylor Hearst a big contract.
You gave Sequin a big contract.
Devonte got a big contract.
A.J. Brown got a big contract.
You paid Braun.
You got to save some money for Mitchell.
You got to save some for DeJon because Milton Williams left,
Huff left.
Think about the, they couldn't generate the pressure this year like they could last year.
You're out.
You're without Big Lane.
Now, at the 49ers, I'm surprised that.
that the Eagles struggled so much to throw the football
because they couldn't generate no pressure.
That's been the 49th issue once they lost Bosa,
a guy that can win sudden, a guy that can win right now.
But we would try to tell y'all,
don't worry about it, we won.
Well, you were accepting things in a win, you never would.
So if throwing for 75 yards in the second half, is that okay?
Is your quarterback?
We said, Ocho, it's amazing that they're winning game
with their quarterback throwing for 150 yards.
Only thing that matters is a win.
Are you okay with your quarterback throwing for 168?
You see, you accept things on a win.
You never would say we'd tolerate the loss.
Now, Ocho and I have your undivide the finish.
The funny thing about it is, is during the season,
when he was throwing for those low numbers,
when he was gone for those low numbers,
they were still winning.
So therefore, everyone was saying,
listen, if AJ Brown's not catching balls,
the Devante's not catching balls,
even if the running game's not doing well,
we still won the game.
but now it comes to bite you in the ass when it matters most.
But see, that's what Mike Shanahan used to tell us.
You don't accept things in a loss that you wouldn't be going to win.
See, you're accepting those.
So if you accept the mocho, what will you not do?
You won't get better because you won the game.
See, a lot of times, see, winning is a mirage sometimes.
Sometimes it's better to lose because it will force you to look with it.
then. If you keep winning, what's wrong? We won because the objective of the game is to win.
So if we win the game, how do I self-evaluate?
Guys, they're going to take a hard look at himself. We won the game. Man, get up. Do we win?
And so I'm glad I played for a coach that held us to a standard. We played to the standard.
Yes, we want to win, but that'll get us beat.
And then come postseason time, there is no next week.
There is no week 10.
There is no week 11.
There is no week 14.
Your season is over.
The teams that lost tonight will get hefty bags.
They're going to clean their lockout.
Hey, man, Ocho, what you got going on, man?
Hey, you know if you, hey, hey, hey, check this out.
I'm going to be in Miami such and such a time.
All, man, hit me up.
Hey, man, we need to go to Vegas.
We need to go to Cancun, man.
We need to do something.
Hey, just let me know, bro.
I'm good.
I'm just take, I'm going to take the first month, first six weeks off.
and then I'm going to get back into it.
But hey, I'm down for everything.
Whatever you want to do, bro, just let me know I'm there.
Is that kind of conversation.
Why?
Now, I try to tell them,
I said, AJ ain't going to be there next year.
You don't know, you just talking.
You big mouth, you know everything.
So this kind of, this, hold on, this tonight, tonight,
the altercation on the sideline,
that really solidifies him not being there, you think?
No.
The behavior.
Oh, in general.
Okay, okay, okay.
Ocho, you know he left without talking to the media.
Yeah, that happened when you're upset.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But when he wasn't getting the ball, what was he doing, Ocho?
Talking to the media.
Why?
So why you can't talk now?
That's why I say you keep your mouth shut.
Because this game has a way of humbling you.
You beg for the ball.
I can't do anything if I don't get the ball.
Hell, I thought he had baseball gloves on me.
First baseball, I thought, I was like, well, damn,
are you going to catch anything tonight?
You see how that look?
Now, not everybody's looking at it.
Even Eagles fans, even his greatest supporters that say he should be getting the ball,
how did he look at him now?
Yeah, I mean, and with him, L.
I like AJ.
I think it's a phenomenal challenge.
And I said, and my thing was, I said, look,
I'm not saying that he's wrong.
I'm saying keep it behind close.
That's the problem.
I say when you make it public,
people are going to look at you and say,
you don't really care about winning.
You care about your stats.
And you don't ever want people to think, yes,
everybody won't be numbers.
I want to win.
I wanted my numbers too.
But I knew if we won the game,
how I'm going to come out and say,
man, I only caught two passes.
You can't, you can't win that.
The Eagles had four drops on third down
versus the Niners.
This was the most third down,
that they've had in the regular season,
as well as the most in a playoff game
since ESPN began tracking stats in 2006.
Dropping passes at the wrong time.
At the most,
it's not the drop in the past.
It was who was dropping the past.
It was the guy that was making the most think about not getting the ball.
That's what makes it so hard.
That's what people are going to look at.
every we just get first crack at it
because we got to show that come on after ball games.
So we get, what do you think everybody else
going to be talking about?
What are we going to be replaying over and over again?
Ain't going to be playing the sound
where he says he needs the ball.
Now, a lot of times when he said he need the ball,
they started to try to force feed him the ball.
And the funny thing about it,
during the season, in the season,
when he complained about not getting the ball,
the next game, they feed him.
And he made the play.
And just the night, I mean, it was right back to the same old,
God damn, I'm out here like I'm at a goddamn marathon.
I feel like I'm in a, I feel like I met a marathon.
No, Ocho, I ain't let you do that.
They tried to get him the ball early.
They tried to get him the ball early.
It was not late in the game and he was dropping it.
It was early in the game.
Chat, back me up on this now.
Don't let Ocho do that.
They didn't wait to no four quarter to try to get in the ball.
They tried to get him the ball early.
I just remember.
remember the two drops in the, uh, towards the end of the game.
Them deep balls, hey, them deep balls, uh, well, I'm laying out like Superman for them
things.
That's, hey, hey, I got, I got the hair of him.
I got, but obviously he's being, he's being contested.
He's being pulled and tugged, you know, trying to, trying to fight through, um, fight through,
what I'm trying to say?
Trying to fight through the hands.
Oh, yeah, trying to fight through contact, but still, I hate that.
They let the DB and be all hands, and they pick and choose when they want to call that stuff.
But anyway, but I, hey, um, I'm diving for that.
Well, what about on that over route?
So what would happen on the over route
when Hertz hitting between the level
when he had the ball right there?
So what would happen on that one?
Yeah, yeah.
Well, you talk about...
Okay, the one down the right rail
when the ball went right through his hand.
What happened on that one?
And the little dig route, too, the little mini dig?
Yeah.
Damn, man.
That sucks, man.
That's suck, boy.
That's suck.
That's why you always got...
Hey, you got to stay calm, ma'am.
You got to stay calm.
I've seen very few players
complain about the ball
and still be able to have that same focus
that same laser focus you need
to be able to make those plays.
All the greats complained about the ball.
Go ask Peyton,
did Marvin Harrison complain about the ball?
Go ask Joe and Steve.
Did Jerry complain about the ball?
Ask Randall,
did Cece complain about the ball?
You just don't do it publicly.
Because when you do it,
publicly like he did,
like he was all on social media,
and now the biggest game of the season,
when they have to have it,
you got that seat,
you're the number one receiver,
you make 30 plus million,
you are no show to me.
You are no show.
There's no way around it.
And I like AJ.
My only problem with AJ,
I said, AJ, just keep that just,
hey, you talk to Seriani,
you talk to Petula,
you talk to Hertz.
but do not say anything about getting the ball publicly
because I'm telling you, they're going to eat you up.
Yeah.
I think, I think, you know, you think him and hers get along?
I'm just curious.
I never see any interaction between him and his quarterback.
Well, I thought they were boys.
I thought.
I thought that was one of the reasons why he wanted to go to feeling.
I don't know.
It just seems off.
It seems odd.
I see no interaction between those two.
in game, you know, most of the time.
Unkey, come off the field, you go talk to your quarterback.
What you see.
Okay, what you see?
Okay, well, we can do this because he's playing me this way.
Well, obviously, on this down, this is what they're doing.
You know, maybe we need to make some adjust.
I don't see any type of communication between the two.
Maybe I'm missing something.
Maybe they do converse, you know, in game,
but there's no dialogue.
And it just seems there's the disconnect offensively in general.
Part of me wants to look at it like this, Ocho.
Hurts came from Alabama
where he had Devante
and he had rugs and he had
you know he had four receivers that go in the first round
so he didn't really have to force the football
so he didn't really there was not a guy like I got to give him the ball
so he's looking okay
if Godd is over and I'm going to give it to Goddard
if Devonte is over I'm going to give it to Devonte
if this guy were with ones
Ocho you know you got
got, hey, you got to get to be targets.
They're going to need somewhere between six and ten targets a game, maybe even 12,
to be happy to feel like you're involving them in the offense.
Because, and the sooner you can make it happen, the more he'll relax and the more he'll feel
like he's involved in the offense.
The longer you let that go, the more frustrated he's going to get, and the more he will
start to press.
and then bad,
you know bad things happen
when you start to press.
I don't know what it is.
It's like the hands
all of a sudden my damn ham
they like got cramps in them.
Man open up, damn it.
Anytime you get frustrated,
I don't know if this happened to you.
But games where I've gotten frustrated
and I'm mad, I will never address it.
I think me and Carson and I had one altercation
that I told you about.
Never got into it with Marvin,
but they can tell by my mannerisms.
And once I would look,
lose focus. And the funny thing about it is when you lose focus and you're angry, that's when
the motherfucking ball come and, man, the ball beat you up. It'd be, I'm too, I'm, it, me, beat me up.
So now I'm angry on the sideline. They throw me the ball the next, the next drive, the next series,
and I don't drop it. Mm-hmm. Oh, Joe, I don't got frustrated. I'm up there trying to catch
it three times thinking that's a catch, that's three catches. Now, number one, I just bobbing, I just
mis-handsled it.
Oh, yeah, that's, no, that's still one.
I hate that, man.
I hate that.
And that's when you start taking shots, you bobbling it,
and you, you know, you focused on the ball,
you don't see the guy to come drill you in the back,
come drill you in your face.
I just think to say, look, me personally,
I think it's best if AJ and the Eagles just go to separate ways.
He needs to go somewhere where he feels like,
he's going to get, he's looking at the Ocho,
I need to be getting them Pooka-Nakua-type targets.
I need to be getting Chase, Jeddah, and Jigba.
But he's not in that type of offense,
nor does he have a coach or office
as a coordinator that has that kind of creativity.
I mean, listen, it would have been great
because the way they won the Super Bowl last year,
you got to evolve.
You have to evolve because you're not going to win it
the same way you did last year.
And it just seemed like everything was stagnant
And the same where they thought or the same way they were able to win it last year,
they had to have, they tried to come back with the same formula this year.
Same, the same formula.
Everything was so predictable.
I don't play for the Eagles, but I can tell you every play based on everybody's alignment.
I shouldn't be able to do that.
So if I'm doing it and I ain't watching no film on you and I'm just watching every Sunday,
what do you think the people you plan against able to do?
Only two people getting gold balls, Ocho.
Devonte Smith or AJ Brown.
The only two that's getting go balls.
They don't know.
And they line up in the same place when it's coming.
Yep.
Same thing.
That's it.
They're only two getting go balls.
I just think the thing is,
Ocho,
here's Sarianna's response
when he was asked about the altercation with AJ.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
Yeah, you know, I was trying to get him off the field.
you know, because we were about to punt, and that was really it.
Yeah.
So I love AJ.
I think he knows how I feel about him.
I have a special relationship with him.
We probably went through every emotion you can possibly have together.
We've laughed together.
We've cried together.
We've yelled at each other.
You know, we're both emotional.
I was trying to get him off the field.
And, you know, you never want, you know, that happens in this game.
That happens in this game.
But I love him.
You know, it's funny too long before I let you go about that is a lot of people in the chat,
you look at stuff like that and you see it happen on the sideline, a coach and a player going
at it.
And I don't think people understand how much this actually happens.
Most of the time, it's not caught on camera.
Sometimes it's in practice.
Very few times has it ever been caught on camera?
I want everybody in the chat that's listening.
I know the altercation that looks bad, especially on AJ Brown's part, remember, and I know
you can remember this.
please tell me y'all remember the custom match between bill o'brien and tom brady
um classic classic a classic moment in a game in which emotions were high logic was low
there was the disagreement whatever it may have been you know but they're going at it that happens
that's a part of the game it always has been it just it doesn't get caught on camera as often
And so everybody is always up in arms about it.
Oh, Joe, I know how I am.
I know how I am.
So if the coaches say something, I just keep going.
Because you're going to snap, huh?
A new year doesn't mean erasing who you were.
It means honoring what you've survived and choosing how you want to grow.
It means giving ourselves permission to feel what we've been holding
and knowing that it's okay to ask for help.
I'm Mike Dolorotcha, host of sacred lessons.
This podcast is a space for men to talk openly about mental health, grief, relationships,
and the patterns we inherit, but don't have to repeat.
Here, we slow down, we listen, we learn how vulnerability becomes strength
and how healing happens in community, not in isolation.
If you're ready to let go of what no longer serves you
and step into the year with clarity,
compassion, and purpose.

shouldn't be the price of entry.
Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago
because that's when they maybe started paying attention.
It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the year,
stacking clips and receipts and still having to prove your worth
while the industry catches up.
You break down the door, sick now like hold the door for everyone.
We created good luck with that
because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry
that wasn't always built for everyone.

And they know, hey, normally, normally, if Mike said something or BP called down,
because my position coach would be up in the booth.
Cool, Mike, Alex gives.
Alex said something, I just keep walking because I already know,
I already know how I am.
So probably about the series go by, Cool, we've got.
But you good, 84, you good?
I'm like, don't worry about it.
We're all right.
you're good because I know how I am mocho
I already see if you know you
you prevent you you prevent it you don't want
you don't want confrontation especially not
not in that controlled environment
not that environment not in that environment
no no I just I just keep on walking
I know I know I've messed up
I was never one of those ones
you know to walk off the field situation like that
but you know you miss a block or something like that
or you drop a crucial pass or third down or something like that
Yeah, I'm already mad at myself.
Here you go.
And then you're going to come to my,
you got to catch that.
You might catch these hands,
what you body catch.
Hold on.
That's what you might be.
Tell a chat.
Tell a chat when Kevin Green snatched up.
Was it Kevin Green that snatched up,
his position coach?
Was it Kevin Green?
Yeah.
I forgot who was.
It's on film.
His coach came and said something to him.
Damn, was it Kevin?
What he was at Carolina?
Yes, when it was that Carolina.
The coach came over there and said something,
man, Kevin Greener snatched the coach up man by the collar.
I'm like, what the hell?
Well, you saw when Buddy Ryan punched Gavin Gilbride.
Huh?
Real?
On the field?
Asked why was he?
Yeah, on the sideline.
Hell no.
Buddy asked him, why are you throwing the ball?
Pop.
No, look, if you really go back and look at the Eagle fans,
and I think Eagle fans will accept to this,
the Eagles never look good this year.
They were winning games in spite of how bad their offense played.
And that's the thing.
And the people are going to like, well, who are you going to put this blame on?
The defense, I mean, at some point in time, Ocho, the defense can only do so much.
I mean, also, we held them 23 points.
And they scored to what they had 16.
And so, no, they're 23 to 19.
And so they scored a touchdown because what was it?
It was 17.
So at one point in time, we had them at 17 until about a minute to go.
Damn, man.
And we got those two, and we got two takeaways from them.
That sucks, man.
man that that sucks
I look
a lot of times
coaches don't like to make changes
during the season
and he didn't want to get rid of Kevin
that's his buddy huh
that's his buddy
hey all my buddies run rabbits
and eat poop out the garbage
so you let you know what my dogs are
but anyway
also I think the thing is
I don't see a scenario where he's back
not in the role
he's not called he's not
They need a new offensive coordinator.
They need somebody with imagination.
A creative mind.
They had that with Kellynne Moore.
They had that with Shane Steichen.
And I think if they get somebody back with that,
they've got a lot of decisions to make.
You know, Jordan Davis played well.
You got Carter.
You know, you got those two DBs going to be coming up real soon.
They're going to want pay days.
That's tough.
I mean, pretty soon.
Jalen Hurts, you're going to have to do something with Jailen because his cap number is about to be so high.
Yeah, it's going to be too high.
So what you're thinking, Ocho?
What do you think?
What do you think the Eagles do?
What do the Eagles go from?
I don't know.
I think A.J. Brown is going to be somewhere else.
Wherever he goes, he is still a top talent.
I think he's going to go somewhere where they'll be able to utilize him a little bit more,
allow him to be a little bit more involved in that offense because he's an impact player.
He's not just a receiver.
He's wide receiver number one.
He just is.
And I don't want to blame Patulo.
I don't want to blame the offense and the lack of creativity,
but he can be used in so many different ways instead of, you know,
I know what happened tonight, you know, being able to make those catches in the right time for your team
in those special moments.
But in general, he was already out of his groove.
He was in no type of rhythm.
But again, you still have to catch the ball.
But as wide receiver number one, and I'm not making excuses.
for him, you know, tonight's, tonight's performance was unacceptable.
It was unacceptable on the simple fact that you were angry that you're not getting the ball.
And when the opportunities did come to you, you didn't make those plays.
But, I mean, he'll be somewhere else and they will bring someone else in.
I think Smitty's probably going to go to wide receiver number one.
And they probably will.
Yeah.
It probably will bring another another receiver.
Who?
I'm not sure.
Shoot, maybe George Pickens.
That was in letting that.
Who?
I, me personally, Ocho, I think they're going to, and we can talk about this late if you like.
I think they put the tag on joy just until they can figure out what they're going to do.
Because, I can't let him hit the market.
Because somebody will give him more money.
If I let him hit the market, Ocho, somebody's going to pay him more than I, and I can't match it.
That's the whole point.
Don't be mean.
Don't be mean.
Don't be rude.
Don't take away the man's true value.
Let him go get his money.
everyone else that was in his receiver class,
they got their money.
Let him get his money.
Don't try to keep him at low-balling.
You already have wide receiver number one in CD Lamb.
Let pick flourish.
Come on.
That's why I need to be the president of the NFLPA.
It's too late.
It's too late.
They got agreement.
This agreement till 30.
So, yeah.
That's the first thing that need to be on the table.
Getting rid of the franchise tag.
They're going to say, we're going to get rid of franchise tag, but we want another game.
Okay, we get another game.
Give us guaranteed contracts.
No, no, we can, we ain't doing that.
Now, that's why you need me in now.
Put me in there.
I play hardball with them, huh?
You get, put a shoot and tie on me.
I get us what we need.
We need, we need somebody as a president of the NFLPA that's going to fight for the players.
I understand that, Ocho.
But banks and financial institutions,
institutions will forego an annual monthly payment by these leads.
They're not letting you go forego that.
People got houses.
People got kids that's in private school.
They got upkeeping maintenance that they got to take care of.
See, why these owners got these buildings, got these things.
And see, I ain't got no money going out because I ain't got to pay you because you ain't coming to work.
But I still got to pay on this, I got to pay this loan on this building.
So I'm going to tell us and they're going to say, you know what?
Mr. Jones, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Lurie, Mr. Hunt, fine.
We'll charge you extra 5%, but get it to us when you can.
Your bank, not going to do that.
So we're looking at a situation.
Most guys don't have the means, and that's why I've said.
When it's coming up, if I was in the row and I don't want the role,
I'll say, look, guys, in order for us to get to what we want,
I'm going to need you guys to not make any big purchases,
meaning no new cars, no new homes, no upgrades,
hey, stay married.
If you are married, stay married.
So that, and I need you to save because in order for us to get what,
baseball and what basketball got,
you got to be willing to miss
checks. You got to.
Baseball players shut it down. They said
they're going to be no World Series. Then that's going to be no playoffs.
And they got what they wanted.
NBA said, we should. Hey, y'all do what y'all want.
But I know we ain't going on.
Hey, uh, and you got, and you got to have all,
15, 1600 players on board. That's going to be hard, boy.
That's cool.
But even if you do what happened, if you go back,
and I'm not going to call it in name.
Let me tell you what happened.
A lot of those guys that are big, big names,
they join the replacements.
They cross the picket line.
And the fans don't care as long as...
I can put Jordan in the cowboy uniform
and they're going to cheer for it.
So they don't care.
It's not like...
See, football, see, in basketball, we got players.
No matter where, show hey, go.
Showing, show, hey, yeah, yeah, yeah.
you leave their team.
I'm Lord to the Cowboys.
I'm Lord to the Patriots.
I'm Lord to the Steelers.
That's how the fans think now.
That's how the fans think.
LeBron fan are going to follow him wherever.
He go to Cleveland?
Okay.
You go to Miami?
Okay.
You go back to Cleveland?
Okay.
You go ahead.
Okay.
Not like that in NFL.
And the owners have convinced the fans.
They self.
Yeah, that we selfish.
And the funny thing about it is I understand how business work.
I understand the business side of things.
I get it, which is why the way for me to ignore it and not have to deal with it is I'm going to go out here and have fun.
I'm going to go.
I didn't have fun.
And I know you think about Dallas Cowboy fans.
Oh, Ojo just won't pick the goal.
No.
Yes, I wanted to go.
I want to be able to go and get his money, his true value.
They only care because he's a cowboy.
They don't care about him getting his money.
That's why they keep arguing and fussing about it all the time.
They just want him there.
So they want him there for selfish reasons.
I want him to go get paid.
Man, and, oh, Jerry going to tag him.
Do y'all not realize what the tag means?
You know Jerry going to play with him because you already got to pay that
and you're already playing, you're paying CD already.
So you already know what Jerry's going to do.
Why even waste time?
Why even play that game?
Why even want to go down that road?
You already know what type of time he on.
Man, get me up out of here, man.
He picked lucky I'm not his agent.
Because your franchise tag me, we ain't signing shit.
Well, we just got the tag on to just Ocho
so we can work out of a whole term deal.
But the problem, but you know the problem you're going to run into Ocho.
He's going to get more to CD.
Man, CD will flip that goddamn star upside down.
Ocho
You mean to tell
Ocho
You mean to tell me
I made the pro bowl
He didn't this year
I'm an all pro
He isn't this year
And he signed that deal
Two years ago
You think I'm gonna take less
Let's be for real
Now you know
It'd be hell on wheels
In that goddamn organization
You come around
And you play like that
You know that come on now
Well I got lemonade flip flops
to the tank top on, well, it's going to be hell.
And I'm the devil. And I ain't doing
a moanful thing until I get my brain.
You, Roy, come on. Now, you know, you know, you know how this game is.
You know how wide receivers think.
I do. Now, you come, you,
what?
We, okay, you know what? Let me calm down because I'm about to get upset.
And it's saying, it's ain't about me.
Citi Lamb is why I receive a number one.
You know how you say quarterbacks?
they don't like other quarterbacks coming in the building
because they don't want to...
Yes.
This is almost like that.
You can't bring another receiver in
and pay them more money when no.
No.
That's going to mess up.
Ocho, you, Ocho, I can't take less.
If I take less, CD signed that contract two years ago.
This is about to be the third year, Ocho,
and you want me to take less money?
You do realize how,
How old pick is like 25.
Yeah, pick young.
I know young.
And, Ocho, I hit, guess what?
I ain't got no more years on my contract.
They did CD contract and CD still had years to go.
I'm at that period on my contract.
So I need all that.
It ain't, it ain't going to happen on.
Well, I got to go.
Listen, yeah, yeah, yeah, he going to go.
He going to go because you.
I need 30, I need 30, I need 30.
I need 30.
Who did, 37, 37, what?
37.
Man, man, pick hit the goddamn market, man.
He'd get by 3940, man.
That's what I'm saying.
Stop playing.
But I, that's what I, oh, you see, but that's what I'm saying.
Dallas won him, but I can't take no 30 million.
When I know, I, I know that seven, eight, nine million less than market value.
Tell, please.
Jerry better stop playing.
Listen, they already have Citi land.
why are they being greedy?
Why are you being greedy?
Citi is your number one.
You can still fill another spot
in some complimentary receivers.
They might not be picked.
They won't be picked.
But he's a special talent,
allow a special talent to go have his own team.
And we got no.
I can't do that, though, Joe, unfortunately.
No.
I'm sorry.
Wait, who side do you on?
You on the owner's side or the player's side?
I'll pick.
Okay, okay, okay.
but it don't sound like it.
I am.
Ocho, I just told you what PIC is going to be looking for to stay in Dallas.
He'll be willing to, I believe he'll be willing to take $3,4 million less because,
listen to me, listen to me, listen to me, because it's a state with no income tax.
So let's just say I go somewhere also, Cho, and I get $40 million there.
I would take 37 because I'm making the same thing right here.
here because no state income tax. Did you hear what you just said?
Yes. Picking worried about no goddamn no state income tax. He's not taking no,
he's not giving them people no goddamn pay cut on his first deal.
And I had to wait. Listen to what I'm, listen to what I'm saying. So if you make 40 million
in California and I make 37 million in Texas, who you think bringing home to most money?
I hear what you saying. It sound good.
It sound good, but you sit here
explaining it in context form.
I get your perspective.
George Pickens ain't taking no
$4 million left just to stay in
goddamn value. He's going to get his true value
and what he's worth.
This is the only time he's going to be able to get it.
Oh, Joe. I'm not saying
I won't pick to get his money,
but what I'm saying
is, and a lot of what we're talking about,
we're talking the same thing.
I'm just putting out scenarios.
I believe PIC is going to want more than CD.
Now, that's going to be a problem.
You know that?
That's why I know it's not going to happen there.
That's all I'm saying.
Jerry knows that.
That's bad business.
Jerry is not letting Pick hit the market.
He's going to put the tag on him,
and they're going to try to work out something long term.
I'm just, the tag is available.
they're going to fall out
they're going to fall out
because David Mulligeder's not going for it
George Pick is not going for it they're going
going fall out and I'm telling you ahead of time
they're going to fall out you tag me
don't tag me for what
because you know you're not going to give me my true value
allow me to go about my business and get
what I've earned
elsewhere where I can have my
own team
I mean that's it I mean
I agree with everything
that you're saying
everything
I won't pick to get paid.
He deserves.
He doesn't deserve anything.
He earned.
He earned the right to get paid.
And I believe he's only going to get better.
Me, Ocho, I prefer he get $39, $40 million there because he's in a system.
And they're going to, they see what he can do.
And they're going to get him the ball.
So which one of y'all want to get?
which one you you you want double CD if you want to I'm gonna cook you okay double pick if you want to
CD going to eat in the slot and Illinois came on oh cho I don't know if you noticed that yeah
got better and better he got better and better their issues ohcho and what I really need is
defense I got to get I got to get me a hail razor I need a hail razor edge
you need more than that
let's start with that
let's start with that
yes you need corners
you need middlebackers
but you need
somebody that can win
right now
all right
you got to think
miles Garrett is off the table
is there any way I can go get
a Miles Crosby
Max Crosby
is he available
but you're not going to
only be the only one that's in the running for it.
The Eagles need an edge too.
Damn.
There are going to be a lot of teams that need an edge
and going to be willing to give up
compensation because, you see that one piece?
Now, I'm getting them out of the, if all things,
I'm trying, I'm not getting, I'm not letting him stay in the division.
I'm trying to get him out of the AFC to be honest with you.
Listen, I already told you last night.
I told you last night
every take I've had when it came to football
I've always been right,
especially when I speak it into existence.
The tongue is powerful.
That's why you got to be careful
what you speak of.
But I'm going to tell you what we're going to hear next year.
Maybe on Fox, maybe on CBS.
In the precincts.
Oh, Max brought me going to Cincinnati.
Not that part.
Fernando Mendoza
rose a touchdown to George Pickens.
I'm going to let you all.
I'm going to let the chat put that together.
I'm telling you.
Yeah.
You're going to put who you up.
So if you had to,
if you had to blame somebody,
you willing to put blame on somebody?
Who's responsible for this loss in the evening?
That's tough.
You know what?
Most of the time,
just like any other team,
when they don't have success in the playoff,
there are a lot of coaches that have gotten fired
because they didn't win.
John Harbaugh got fired because the Ravens lost.
So the onus at the end of the day,
it's on Siriani.
Because we've had these issues all season long.
And the necessary changes that needed to be made,
like maybe replacing the coordinator or maybe Seriani taking over the coaching call,
the officer play calling.
I mean, anything could have been done, but nobody did anything.
Nothing changed.
So they've had those same inconsistencies all season long.
Defense was stout all year.
There's only so much they can do.
Defense played well.
I thought defense played well.
There's only so much they can do.
They gave up a couple of big plays.
I mean, I was like, damn, Eagles,
because the first drive to 49 to get the ball
and march right down the damn deal.
I was like, well, damn.
They were killing with the over-rout.
Marcus Robinson call it.
Juan Genix called it.
I was like, well, damn, are y'all going to cover the over-rout?
Look, that last, that last,
the option route,
kind of like what McCaffrey ran.
There's nothing to COVID-D could do about that.
At all.
Because C-MAC, C-MAC pressed him hard,
and then pivoted.
We call it a whip ride, don't you?
Hey, what you're going to do about that, don't Joe?
He running hard.
You're like, well, damn, I don't want him to beat me to the flag,
and turn it back inside.
I think, matter of fact,
he'll probably beat most DBEs in space like that.
Oh, but yeah, for sure.
He needs most degrees in space like that.
So, I mean, a linebacker,
that's a complete and utterly mismatch.
He's winning that 10 times out of 10.
Because he has a two, you know,
he has a two-way option.
If you leverage me inside, I'm going to break away from you.
If you overplay me, I'm going to break inside.
That would nice.
It seemed like Dean was playing.
Like, I don't know if Dean had a man or it was drop into a zone,
but when CMAQ pressed him hard outside, he's like, oh, hell,
he's about to try to get to the plan.
Came right back underneath.
You could do unless somebody get, unless, the only way it can help you,
Lama get their hands up on Joe and knocking down.
That's it.
That's all you got.
