Starting point is 00:04:00 But I got to do this solid again for my homeboy, Cat Williams. Legendary philosopher, truth-sayer, and comedian, Cat Williams returns to Netflix for a live comedy event. Cat Williams, woke folks, streaming live from Los Angeles as part of the Netflix is a joke fest, May 4th, 2024 at 10 p.m. Eastern, that's 7 p.m. Pacific. It's live and it's Cat. So you know anything can happen. It's going down. Cat Williams will debut his new comedy special, Woke Folk, which will stream live on Netflix from YouTube Theater in Englewood, California. As part of the Netflix is a joke fest on May 4th, 2024 at 7 p.m. Pacific time. That's 10 p.m. Eastern. This will be Cat Williams' third comedy special with Netflix.
Starting point is 00:04:46 His previous specials include world war three and great America. This show is part of the Netflix is a joke comedy fest taking place in Los Angeles, May 2nd through the 12th with comedy marathons, all with over 300 shows across 35 different venues. Tune in cat Williams woke folk live on May 4th at 7 p.m pacific live only on netflix oh joe the knicks hang on and beat the sixers uh what was the score 118 115 they got another outstanding performance from one jalen brunson oh yeah well he was 13 to 27 from the floor, 12 to 16 from the free throw line. He had
Starting point is 00:05:25 12 assists, 41 points and a big three to seal it. Josh Hart does what Josh Hart does. 16 points, 14 rebounds, a jack of all trades. He does a little bit of everything. He can defend. He can rebound. He can score when necessary. He also had
Starting point is 00:05:41 seven assists. They move on. It's very disappointing for the Sixers because they lose again on their home court. And Tobias Harris was god-awful. He got 29 minutes of cardio. He should be in great shape for the offseason. And one thing you can't blame the
Starting point is 00:05:57 Knicks fans this time. Tobias Harris, 29 minutes, Ocho, zero points. Kyle Lowry played 13 minutes. ocho zero points uh kyle lyrie played 13 minutes he has zero points so your two starters gave you nothing yeah got cardio in um also was disappointing nick nurse you see buddy hill gets you back in the game because at one point you start the game down you're about 16 he gets you back in the game 22 22 why would you why would you not play him in the third quarter you don't you don't bring him in until the fourth quarter
Starting point is 00:06:30 right i'm confused by that by that move give the knicks credit the knicks the knicks were down by 10 in the third they battle back and they come all the way back they tied up going to the fourth quarter and they may play jaylen jaylen brunson was sensational some of the shots that he was making down the stretch where they absolutely had to have it to keep that separation between them and the Sixers. He made every play. But that's disappointing. First of all, Tobias Harris and people like and I remember have been critical of him. You know, as much as I was a Ben Simmons, I said, bro, what is happening is because Tobias Harris plays with Joel Embiid, he played with Ben Simmons, he played with Joel
Starting point is 00:07:07 Embiid, he played with James Harden. He's escaped criticism. The guy's on the max contract. I don't give a damn if he's the third best. Yes. He's a maxer? He's on a max contract. I don't give a damn if he's the third best player. He's got to play up
Starting point is 00:07:23 to that contract, and he never has and it's disappointing because you're gonna they're gonna blame joel and beat and joel and bleed joel and bead gave you everything that he could 12 or 25 13 or 13 he had 39 points tyree's max at 17 uber jr has 17 buddy he'll play 20 minutes gave you 20 Nick Batum came off the bench played 28 minutes he gave you 16 but I'm just confused how all these years Tobias Harris has been able to escape blame not blame
Starting point is 00:07:54 criticism obviously it's easy for him to escape criticism based on the teammates he has around him when the supporting cast is that much better than you you're able to escape the criticism despite the contract that he does have. I didn't even know he was on the MAAC contract.
Starting point is 00:08:11 See? But you can't escape criticism when you're on the MAAC's contract. Okay, let's just say you're the third best player. How about you give me 10 points? You can't escape criticism if you gave me no points, Ocho. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:08:24 You gave me none with the amount of money that you're making Kyle Lowry we understand Kyle Lowry is last leg but still you gotta give me some points he's 30 he's the 5th if I'm not mistaken I think Kyle Lowry is the 5th oldest player in the NBA I think he's 38 years old obviously LeBron
Starting point is 00:08:40 is the oldest at 39 but this was disappointing by the Sixers because you lost your two home. You can't lose these games. You got to get back to the garden for game seven. Right. I mean, honestly, it was a good game. It was a good game. They were down by, if I'm not mistaken, the Knicks were up, what, by damn near 16?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Like 16, yeah. Something like that. The second quarter, to me, the 76ers dominated the second and the third quarter. And that momentum shifted. Obviously, the game of basketball being the game of runs, at some point in that third quarter, the Knicks brought their way back into the game. And from that point on, it was back and forth. It was back and forth. It was back and forth. It was close.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Jalen Brunson doing what Jalen Brunson does. Max. Absolutely. Embiid playing really well with his back to the basket. Really well. And I'm not sure why they didn't double them a few times. They should have doubled. They should have doubled Embiid and allow them to get easy points on who's
Starting point is 00:09:42 the big man for, for, for the next. Hardenstein and Mitchell Robinson. Yeah. Knicks. Hartenstein and Mitchell Robinson. Yeah, it was either Hartenstein and Mitchell Robinson. Oh, they couldn't do nothing with him. No, no, no, no. They couldn't do nothing with him down in the post.
Starting point is 00:09:55 But goddamn Josh Hart, man, hitting that three with 24 seconds on the clock was so clutch. Mm-hmm. Was so clutch. You got to live with that that they got the first of all they got the ball out of jaylen brunson's hand but i don't understand kelly uber you got a left-handed dribbler you got help coming to your inside you cannot let him turn the corner you've got to send him back to your help now you got him peeing okay he lets him get around the edge nicholas
Starting point is 00:10:22 betune that's his guy right So now he's got to come. He's out of position. Hard turns. Swings the ball. Oubre tries to get there late, but it's too late. Yeah, it's too late. You've got him peeing. He's a left-handed dribbler.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Yeah. You can't let him turn the corner. Ocho's like, if my job is to set the edge, I've got to set the edge, which means I've got to keep my outside arm free. Yeah. Yeah. As long as I set the edge, which means I got to keep my outside arm free. Yeah. Yeah. As long as I set the edge and I turn it back inside, if he goes for 100 yards, so be it. I've done my job.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Yeah. That's natural. One thing Oubre Jr. couldn't do if he couldn't allow him to turn the edge. He's got to send him back to his help because here come Batum. Once Batum comes, now he's out of position on Hart. Once Brunsonson he turns the corner he swings the ball Josh Hart I'm I'm willing to live with that right because that's not Jalen Brunson I can't let Brunson beat me anybody else because you see they fake uh Tyrese Maxx was about
Starting point is 00:11:19 to come yeah and Hart was going to throw it to Devin Chinzo. He said, nah, I'm going to take A. Nah, I'm not letting Devo do it. You take it. And to his credit, he took the shot. The moment is not too big for him, and he made it. But that's the difference in winning and losing, ladies and gentlemen, in big games. If you got a responsibility, where is my help? My help is inside.
Starting point is 00:11:43 So I can't get beat around the edge right hey David Chinzo was well he was he was balling he was 5 for 9 from 3 yep 9 for 18 from the field he gave him 23 well hell everybody
Starting point is 00:11:59 showed up to the party for the Knicks that's what you gotta have everybody contributing showed up to the party for the Knicks. That's what you got to have. Everybody contributed and showed up to the party. And hell, the goddamn Sixers was just, it was a two-man show.
Starting point is 00:12:11 It was a three-man show because Obrey, I mean, Buddy Hill, Buddy Hill and Obrey, Obrey Jr., you know, showed up as well.
Starting point is 00:12:18 But Obrey, how you say it? Obrey? Obrey. Obrey. Why he got an O there? Shit. It's solid my bad
Starting point is 00:12:26 that was that coaching decision and not allowing Buddy Hill to play in that third quarter when I think he could have probably gotten better in the game I made it a little closer than what it was because he was in rhythm
Starting point is 00:12:44 he had the hot hand at the time I'm not sure what Brother Nurse was doing I made it a little closer than what it was because he was in rhythm. He had the hot hand at the time. I'm not sure what Brother Nurse was doing. But see, that's what happens when you let money dictate who plays. Ain't no way Tobias Harris giving you that should have been in there playing those kind of minutes. At some point in time, you got... I don't think you can sit someone
Starting point is 00:13:00 that makes that kind of money and have him on the bench in a crucial time like that. What good is he doing you? I think it's fr someone that makes that kind of money and have them on the bench and why not in a crucial time like that what good is he doing you i think this i think it's frowned upon in that game because if you're paying somebody if you're paying somebody that kind of money you expect him to hit shots in crucial times he just didn't he just didn't hit him uh it don't matter what i expect that's why i'm so disappointed you see what you just said? You expect what caused the greatest disappointment expectations, expectations. You're never disappointed with someone when you don't have expectations. It doesn't matter if it's a significant other, it's your child. If your friends, what causes disappointment is expectations. You have an expectation of a guy that's on a max
Starting point is 00:13:42 contract. He's going to give you something. Right. I'm not asking him to be Joel Embiid. I'm not asking him to be Jason Tatum. I'm not asking him to be LeBron James. I'm not asking him to be any top 10 player. But just give me something. Give me something? Yeah, give me something.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Guess what? That man played 29 minutes. I sat on my couch in this t-shirt and some crock, and I scored just as many points as he did. Making $30 million less. Let that sink in for a second, ladies and gentlemen at home. I was on my couch, you and I that's listening to me and watching me. I was on my couch, and Tobias Harris scored the same amount of points as I did.
Starting point is 00:14:26 And you think he was scared to shoot though? You think the lights might have been too bright? He took two shots. That was two more than he should have shot. To me, that would be more, that would be scared to shoot, obviously. Or maybe
Starting point is 00:14:41 he felt more comfortable just facilitating and passing the ball as opposed to putting the shots up. Facilitating, he had three assists. The only two he should have had is took his ass to the bench. That's the two he should have been, to the bench. That's embarrassing. You're a starting player in the NBA. You're on a max contract, and you score no points.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Now, I want to know how he, because far too many times, you blame Ben Simmons. You blame James Harden. You blame Joel Embiid. You've never, Philly fans and national, you've never put, he's gone. He's escaped criticism. Right. Because, like you said, there are the big names there.
Starting point is 00:15:23 So, he gets to hide. Bro, he the first one in line to go get the paycheck. Damn. This is embarrassing. This is embarrassing. That's unfair. They should have. Not unfair, but I mean, he had to be nervous.
Starting point is 00:15:38 That's the only thing I can think of. What they got to do. For a game like this, knowing how crucial this game was, and the fact that you didn't shoot at all, two shots, you got four quarters, to me that just says, you know what, I'm nervous. I don't want to be at fault if we do happen to lose, so I'm not going to take that many shots. The biggest mistake that the Sixers made is that they made a decision
Starting point is 00:16:05 that they would rather have Tobias Harris than Jimmy Butler. You think that's bad? You think Tobias Harris is better than Jimmy Butler? Probably not. I mean, obviously. Okay, so why would you take him over, Jimmy? Yeah. No, I didn't say I was.
Starting point is 00:16:22 I'm asking you, do you think it was bad at the time? There's a reason why they let that let that happen what do you think that is uh no under no circumstances has tobias harris ever been a better player than jimmy butler not when jimmy was in chicago not when he was in minnesota not when he was at marquette he's never been better hold on now you got to help me understand something now yes by his harris is nowhere near jimmy butler's level then how the hell did he end up with a max contract in the first place like you say they got to pay somebody that's what you told me you tell me that all the time and because here's the thing oh joe you have and you have to spend x amount of dollars right and maybe they thought with Jimmy's personality, they thought Tobias Harris would fit better with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
Starting point is 00:17:10 OK, I got you. Because guess what? They ended up giving Ben Simmons a contract. They gave Tobias Harris a contract. Joel Embiid later got a contract. But Joel's contract, based on his injury history, he didn't get one of those Nikola Jokic's contract. We understand that. But. Excuse me. his injury history, he didn't get one of those Nicola Jokic's contract. We understand that. But
Starting point is 00:17:25 excuse me, Tobias Harris got $180 million for that. Yeah. He wasn't what the elephant left on the showground. Now we know what the elephant left on the showground. After eating all them peanuts and all that. Hey, what did he leave on the showground, Ocho? That's what Tobias Harris was
Starting point is 00:17:41 tonight. Shit. That was it. He wasn't even that. He was shit that was it he wasn't even that he was doo doo he wasn't even ish he was doo doo I can't even call him that that's embarrassing you know it was probably
Starting point is 00:17:54 a lack of confidence man that's it that's the only thing I can think of man especially a game like this the importance of it nervous to shoot the bright lights I'm not sure
Starting point is 00:18:04 how experienced he is as far as playoff. How long has Jib Tobias been in the league, Ash? Think about all the playoff games he's done been in. At some point in time, you can't use oh, I was nervous and the bright lights. I don't have no explanation for it.
Starting point is 00:18:23 There are none. See, some things, everything is not meant to have an explanation. See, the problem that we run into is that we always try to explain everything. Some things should be offered without explanation. Right. This man been in the league 13 years, Ocho. Boy, he was good and terrible tonight. And Joel Embiid hadn't been much better in the fourth quarter in the fourth quarter in these playoffs Joel Embiid is shooting 23 percent from the floor he's shooting 11 percent from the three
Starting point is 00:18:53 point line damn here's Jalen Brunson numbers over the last four games he gave you 41 points 12 assists three rebounds he gave you 40 points 10 assists four rebounds he gave you 41 points, 12 assists, 3 rebounds. He gave you 40 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds. He gave you 47 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds. He gave you 39 and 13 assists and 2 rebounds. Shit. And Jalen Brunson's third 40-point playoff game. His third straight 40-point playoff game. Jalen, he like that.
Starting point is 00:19:26 This is embarrassing. This is embarrassing. This is embarrassing. And, you know, see, I'm not an excuse-making business. Whether you do it or you don't. Right. And right now, I mean, I just want to know, I sure wish I could listen
Starting point is 00:19:40 into the conversation. The question that the media is asking Tobias, I wonder what's going through Maxie's mind. I wonder what's going through Joel and B's mind. I was, what's going through Nick's nurse mind. We got a guy that's making 180 million. You'll have on a max contract and he played 29 minutes and he gave us zero
Starting point is 00:19:59 points. The people in the stands scored the same numbers points as Tobias. I, but, but give the, give the stands scored the same number of points as Tobias but give the Knicks credit OG gave you 19, Hardenstein gave you 14 and 9, Jalen Brunson he gave you what he gave you, 42, 12 and 3 Josh Hart
Starting point is 00:20:18 gave you 16 and 14 8 defensive rebounds, 6 offensive rebounds, Devin Chinzo Devo gave you 23 they got five points off the bench five I mean Tobias if you want to get a head start on vacation just tell everybody yeah I mean he went on vacation ain't tell a soul passport already stamped he had a strong hand
Starting point is 00:20:44 linen pants and some flip flops on and didn't tell a soul he was there in spirit I couldn't tell damn man that's bad that's bad that's bad I mean hey
Starting point is 00:20:59 what's next what's next what's next for the Sixers in general? What do the Sixers need to do? I mean, obviously, they made the playoffs. What do they need to do to get past that next obstacle? Well, first of all, you're going to sign Max into a Max contract. And you need Embiid healthy.
Starting point is 00:21:25 That's two. Embiid's healthy. Okay. Look, I'm eyeing what's going on with Paul George. Are the Clippers going to give him a Max contract? Because he's a wing guy. Now, he's not the defender that he once was. We understand that.
Starting point is 00:21:42 But he's better at what he does. He's better than tobias harris at everything shooting scoring every there's nothing that tobias harris other than scoring zero points now paul george is not the most consistent most reliable player come playoff time but i'll still take him 15 times over to tobias harris And so if you can get, keep joining, that's, that's a big,
Starting point is 00:22:06 if, Oh, that's one of, that's the biggest, that's the, that is the smallest, biggest word in the English language. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Wait, if what now, if what part, if in B stays, that's the smallest, biggest word. He ain't going to wear, where are you going to go?
Starting point is 00:22:23 If you can keep him healthy. Oh, well, I thought, I thought just about to go? If you can keep him healthy. Oh, well, I thought, I thought just about him leaving. Oh, you keep it healthy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I know you keep it healthy, lose a little weight.
Starting point is 00:22:35 If he is, if he's able to lose a little weight, take some of that pressure off his knees, take some of that pressure off at lower extremities. I think it'd be a little better, but it's cool. You know, Hey,
Starting point is 00:22:44 he on there eating. He eating McDonald's. No, no, let him keep eating be a little better. But it's cool, you know. Hey, he on there eating McDonald's. No, no, let him keep eating that. He been eating what he's eating, so why change it? Why are you throwing McDonald's in here? McDonald's ain't got nothing to do with that. That's what he's eating. Says who? That's what he's eating. I've never heard, I've never seen him eat
Starting point is 00:22:59 McDonald's. He's making a joke that he's sitting on the training table, they're massaging his ankles and his knees, and he's eating Big Mac. He's eating quarter joke that he's sitting on the training table they're massaging his ankles and his knees and he's eating Big Mac. He's eating quarter pounders. Now you got to show me. You got to show me that. I've never seen that. Hey, send him the clip.
Starting point is 00:23:11 I've never saw that. Send him the clip. They're going to send you the clips. They're going to send you the clip. I don't like McDonald's catching strains because everybody else that eats McDonald's
Starting point is 00:23:22 hasn't had any injuries. I don't want him to lose. No, no, no, no. Let him eat what he's been eating. You say if it's working, don't. Hey, he's eating that. He won the MVP. He was leading the league and scored. Don't change up now.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Don't change up on him now. I'm definitely not going to change up, but it had nothing to do with what he's putting in his body. So how the hell you lose weight then, Ocho? Huh? How do you lose weight? By working out. You cannot exercise a bad diet?
Starting point is 00:23:54 Well, shit, I've been doing it for 56 years, so I know that's a lot. The devil's the line. Ocho, if people look at you, your frame, you're not going to be a big man. You're never going to be a big man, no matter what you eat. I have a question. Time out. Time out. Why why you keep disrespecting me when it comes to my frame knowing i'm six three two ten you can be whatever you want to but your frame is not conducive for you what carrying a lot of weight it's look at your clavicles all you got to lose look how narrow
Starting point is 00:24:18 your clavicles are it'll tell you everything you need to know that's that's from boxing that ain't from nothing you could be a boxer. You could be an electrician. Your body type was already determined on how much weight you can gain. This is what you don't understand.
Starting point is 00:24:33 My clavicle, my shoulders are narrow because I'm aerodynamic. That's how I'm able to cut. That's how I'm able to stop on a dime and cut the way I do. I know.
Starting point is 00:24:42 And that's the very reason a cheetah will never weigh as much as a lion or a tiger because of his body type. I like where you're going right now. I do. I know. And that's the very reason a cheetah will never weigh as much as a lion or a tiger because of his body type. I like where you're going right now. I like that. Exactly. I like how you referenced me
Starting point is 00:24:52 to being a cheetah. I like that. I like that. What I'm referencing in is that your body type determines how much weight you can put on it. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:59 We're going to see. Now, when August... Wait. Yeah, when August get here and I'm walking around about 2.30, I want you to remember that same statement. Well, I tell you what. If you're walking around at 2.30,
Starting point is 00:25:12 you ain't nothing but button good. I'm just telling you. You ain't nothing but button good. Your body ain't going to hold 2.30. I'm talking about all muscle. You'll see. You'll see. I ain't going to say nothing else.

Starting point is 00:50:18 on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Pacers routed the Bucs, 120-98, eliminating Milwaukee. And Milwaukee has been eliminated. Ah. What? They haven't got past the first round since they won the NBA Finals, right? Listen, since winning the championship, the Bucs have had a second round exit, a first round
Starting point is 00:50:46 exit, and another first round exit. Okay. It's not fair, though. It's not fair. Before you start, Doc Rivers caught this team in the middle of the season, right? Basically, right? They were 30-13 when Doc took over.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Oh, shoot. It's nothing I can say. It's nothing I can say. It's nothing I can say. Because at that point, you were a winning team. You were a winning organization. I think there might have been some quarrels and disagreements between, I'm assuming, Giannis and whoever the previous coach was. I'm assuming they didn't like him.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Adrian Griffin. Yeah. That's tough. That's tough. That's tough. Giannis was hurt. Dame wasn't himself. And Chris Middleton. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:44 Yeah. They got a good squad, man. I'm trying to figure out how they shouldn't even be home like that. Well, Giannis got hurt. It's going to take some time to assimilate. I think next year they'll be better. You look at Bobby Portis gave you 20. I mean, they did a great job considering.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Right. No Giannis. You got 20 from Portis. You got 14 from Middleton. You got 20 fromnis. You got 20 from Portis. You got 14 from Middleton. You got 20 from Lopez. You got 28 from Dame. Mm-hmm. But your bench didn't give you anything.
Starting point is 00:52:13 But when you get Siakam going for 19, Nate Neesmith going for 15, Nim Hard going for 14, Halliburton gives you 17 and 10. Obi Toppin gives you 21. T.J. McConnell gives you 20. That's just too much to overcome. Hey, and you see, you notice how many names you just read off?
Starting point is 00:52:32 Everybody is contributing. Everybody putting up points. Everybody in double figures. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Matter of fact, who's the Pacers' best player? Probably Halliburton. Him or Pascal Siakam.
Starting point is 00:52:50 So Halliburton would be the Anthony Edwards of the Pacers, or am I going a little too far? Yeah, too far. He's a point guard. He led the league in assists, made his first, I think his first all-star team. Right. Siakam was on that team in Toronto.
Starting point is 00:53:05 He's been to a couple of all-star games. They got a very balanced team. They're going to call, they're going to call who they play next. They play the Knicks, right? They play the Knicks next. That's going to be a tough series because they can get up and down. Or they can push it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:18 They can push it. They're going to push it. They're looking to get the ball off the rim or take it out the net. But one way or another, they're getting up the court. Well, hell, let me see. The Lakers, the Bucs, the 76ers are out. Yep. The Heat is out.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Yep. So of all the teams that are now out of playoff contention, to you, who's the most disappointing so far, that you expected to go much further than where they are now? Oh, obviously, probably Phoenix. That's not. Oh, that's right. The Suns are out to Phoenix. The Phoenix. I mean, but the thing is, is that when you have you have the caliber player, think about it. Steph Curry, did he make the playoffs? LeBron, KD out in the first round, Joel Embiid out in the first round.
Starting point is 00:54:07 That's, look, Anthony Davis out in the first round, Joel Embiid's supposed to be on the Olympic team. Steph Curry's supposed to be on the Olympic team. LeBron AD on the Olympic team. That's four guys right there that's supposed to be on the Olympic team. Actually, Kawhi's supposed to be on the Olympic team. I don't
Starting point is 00:54:28 know if Kawhi is going to play. That spot should go to Kyrie. A guy that can catch and shoot. He can handle the ball. He can break down the defense. I like Kyrie with that selection. Underdog Rivers, the book right at the bottom half of the league at offensive rating, defensive rating, net rating, record.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Knocked down in round one. Emotions got the better of Pat Bell. With the Bucks down 10, with about two and a half minutes left to go in the game, the game broadcast showed Patrick Beverly
Starting point is 00:54:54 chucked the ball at a pace of fans in the stand. Well, the first one was just a little toss. The second one was a chuck. I'm curious. So what did he do?
Starting point is 00:55:06 He threw the ball like a fan, like, here, take it? Yeah, he threw it to him the first time. It looked like, how about you go out there and shoot it? Like one of those moments. Like, you think you can do better? Okay, well, he'll go to the ball. And the dude tossed it back and Pat threw it back to him even harder. Why would he do that?
Starting point is 00:55:24 I don't know. I'm not sure what they're... I'm sure they have sound, right? They got sound on the sideline, don't they? Yeah, but I don't... I don't... Okay, you better just toss it. But why would you throw a fan a ball at that distance?
Starting point is 00:55:40 I guarantee you the fan said something about their play and Pat Bale throwing the ball. How about you go out there and do better? You know, something like that. If you think you can do better, here you go. Here's the ball. Come on, bro. You can't throw the ball like that, though, Ojo. Yeah, the second time, you can't throw it like that.
Starting point is 00:55:59 He tossed it soft the first time. And that second one, he hurled that bitch. Oh, my bad. But he wouldn't get in trouble for that, would he? Oh, what? Oh, he gets suspended. Wow. Damn.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Oh, no. See, the first time he threw it they weren't looking and the ball hit him upside the head it hit two women side the head it hit her in the head and then her head crammed into her friends or the lady that was sitting next to him that's what happened and then the dude tossed it back and then he
Starting point is 00:56:37 that's what he did okay okay oh yeah it's just a bad look somebody must have been talking slick and it got under his skin. Mm-hmm. Damn. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Now it's time for our first segment of the night, and it's called a News Cap. Patrick Mahomes feel good about the Chiefs' chances at becoming the first team in history to win three straight Super Bowls. Patrick Mahomes went on the Impulsive with Logan Paul podcast. Next year in New Orleans, we're going to do it again. I'm putting it on the table. We're going to do it again. I'm telling you. Do we got sound?
Starting point is 00:57:19 Okay. That's what he says. A lot of teams don't like to talk about it, Ocho. Let's downplay it. But you's a lot of teams don't like to talk about it. Oh, Joe. Right. You know, let's downplay it. But you're the two time reigning champ. You won't get everybody's best shot. Regardless whether you talk about it, whether you sing about it, whether you, you know, sign language about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:36 They know what you represent. You're every you're everybody's measuring stick. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. Listen, I love Patrick Mahomes' confidence. I love everything about the Chiefs. I love the organization.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Obviously, Travis Kelsey. I love the pick and Xavier Worthy and how he can change the dynamic of that offense and take some of the pressure off everybody else and open things up. Travis Kelsey, what he's done, obviously, his resume speaks for itself. I can't wait until Rasheed Rice serves his suspension, whatever that is,
Starting point is 00:58:08 whenever that comes down. They do have a great chance to do it. Defensively, Spagnolia, one of the greatest, if not the best defensive coordinator. Huh? Spagnola. Oh, my bad. I just added a little French to it.
Starting point is 00:58:22 Yeah, you had Spagnolia. Spagnolia. I'm going to say Spags. Yeah. Spags. Arguably, maybe the best defensive coordinator in the NFL. He will have them ready. So the words that are coming out of Patrick Mahomes' mouth, they can possibly do.
Starting point is 00:58:37 But there's just one problem. There's just one issue. Also in the AFC North, in the AFC for that matter is the Bengals. And we have a healthy Joe Burrow coming back. No, he's starting to season healthy. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:58:52 We have a healthy Joe Burrow coming back. So the words... It ain't how you start it's how you finish. Again, we have a healthy Joe Burrow coming back.
Starting point is 00:59:00 So the words... Was he healthy last year? The words that Patrick Mahomes uttered I'm going to tell you what the better story is. Where's the Super Bowl this year? New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:59:09 In New Orleans, right? Yes. We have two players on the Bengals that went to LSU. Where's LSU located? In Baton Rouge. In Baton Rouge, not too far from New Orleans. So how do you think this NFL story and this Super Bowl story is going to go? Well, they got to write that story.
Starting point is 00:59:30 Sure. It's already being written. And you heard it here first. I rest my case. That's it. You heard it here first. Yeah. Andrews, I mean, the closest anybody's ever come to three-peating is the 49ers.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Right. They won 88, 89, and they lost the championship game on their home field in 1990. Roger Craig fumbled. It was a 10-10 ball game. And then they ended up- They kicked the field goal. Kicked the field goal, and they won it. So that's the closest anybody's come to the three-peat.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I know they had to hurt but oh yeah that really did yeah john harb reveals how the baltimore ravens want to use derrick henry the ravens made one of the slasher moves this nfl offseason when they signed running back derrick henry to a two-year deal worth 16 million dollars harb i said i think i think what it's going to look like is a lot what it looked like in Tennessee, him running for a lot of yards. Maybe even some ways we'll create opportunity
Starting point is 01:00:30 because we're going to be going to possibility of spread the defense out just a little more. There won't be as many eyes on him, maybe not as many helmets directed towards him when he gets the ball
Starting point is 01:00:41 and we'll be able to create just a little more space for him. Henry has led the NFL in carries for the last five seasons. He has over 2,000 carries and 9,500 rushing yards under his belt in his career. Yeah. You and I both like this move. I think it's going to serve Lamar.
Starting point is 01:00:59 He won't have to run as much to get that third and one, that fourth and one. When you got a guy 250, 255 back there that can sledgehammer the ball up in there and get create uh yards yeah less helmets off and plus now when when he rolls over and lamar put that hand in there in his belly and pull it out and throw the ball to save flowers and all those guys yeah andrews come back healthy the raven's gonna be to deal with listen raven's gonna be to deal with yeah that's one of the scariest rpo actions having a quarterback like that with a running back like that we got two that could bounce
Starting point is 01:01:36 the head off the goal post from anywhere on the field that's gonna be dope it's gonna be dope yeah oh yeah for sure for sure but they gotta put it together oh so you know you only get so many opportunities at this thing right yeah you only get so many opportunities and the thing is you don't want to like man we had lamar at his absolute prime a guy that won three mvps right and doesn't have a super Bowl to finish it off. He's too good. He's played too well. He's shown himself because now, if I'm him,
Starting point is 01:02:11 that's the only thing that matters. Yeah, the MVPs are nice. I'm going to be recognized as the best player, yada, yada, yada. But I think at this juncture, now the only prize that matters to him, he's been voted by his peers, the top 100 he's been number one he's been a two-time mvp he's been an all pro he's been to numerous pro bowls the only thing that he doesn't have on his resume that completes the resume is that lombardi is that lombardi oh yeah now you look at him totally different. You get those, people look at you different.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Mm-hmm. They don't say, they don't, hey, they say, Super Bowl winning quarterback. Quarterback.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Two-time MVP. Yeah. Yeah. See, that's first. When they introduce Patrick Mahomes, they don't mention that. Three-time Super Bowl
Starting point is 01:03:02 winning quarterback. Mm-hmm. Tom Brady, seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback. Tom Brady, seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback. Right. That's when... But man, Lamar's had an... I mean, what is Lamar? 26? 27?
Starting point is 01:03:17 Yeah, yeah. He might be 26. Wait, he might be 25. No? I think he's like 26, 27. Okay. But he's absolutely in a sweet spot. love what the ravens have done they gave him a power back now play action lanes are gonna like like a harvard said lanes are gonna be there yeah everything's gonna open the ball in and also lanes are gonna be there for derrick henry to run right so i really love this move i love this move zeke is this move. Zeke is just
Starting point is 01:03:45 the latest notable player to return to a franchise that is synonymous with his NFL career. CBS Sport ranked the second best stint in NFL with one team. Okay, John Riggins, when he returned to the Washington football team, 81-85.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Fran Tarkin came back, played for the Vikings, 72-78. Jeremiah Trotter, he came back and played for the Eagles, 81-85. Fran Tarkin came back, played for the Vikings, 72-78. Jeremiah Trotter, he came back and played for the Eagles, 04-06. Ricky Williams, the Dolphins, 05. A little break, 79. And then yours truly, Broncos, 02-03. 02-03. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Yeah, yeah. John, Rigo went to I think he went to like a World League or something. They had this upstart league. Right. I think Fran went to the Vikings. Didn't Fran go to the Giants? I think he went to the Giants. Where Trotter went?
Starting point is 01:04:39 Trotter's son just got drafted this year too, huh? Yeah. I don't know where Trot went. Oh, man. 2002, 2003. What y'all did that year you came back to Denver?
Starting point is 01:04:55 I went back in 0203. I know. What y'all did that year? We went to the playoffs my second year. I broke my collarbone. Oh, yeah. You told me about it. You was having a good season, too. Oh, I was killing. You was on fire, yeah. Cook it.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Cook them. Damn. Cook it. That's when I broke the record my first year back in Denver. Went for 214 against the Chiefs, 12 for 214.
Starting point is 01:05:19 Woo! We down. Who was our quarterback? I think Greasy ended up getting hurt, and then Berline got hurt, and then Danny Cannell came in. Danny Cannell, Florida State. The Volume.
