Starting point is 00:04:38 Ruby Rose said you need to make $5 billion a year to date her. Ah. said you need to make $5 billion a year to date her. For content purposes, because that's what this is, for content purposes. I mean, that's... Everyone can have their dreams and aspirations. Everyone can have their... What's the word I'm looking for?
Starting point is 00:05:11 Their prerequisites on what's required to date them. So I'm not knocking her prerequisites. Now, it's a little steep. Based on the individuals that have five million, that make five million or more a year. That pool of one percentage you have to choose from, you know, I mean, that's cool. That's cool as long as you understand what comes with that. Well, at least she already told you what she's about.
Starting point is 00:05:38 So she's under no pretenses. Look, it's just as easy to say the rich man is the poor one. And if you're given a choice, hey, she said, I'm going to take the rich one. But you know what you got? You know what? She already told you what she's about. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:57 All right, Mio. I like it. So let me ask you a question, Ocho. Ruby Rose. She cute. She cute, huh? She's fine, huh? Not $5 million fine.
Starting point is 00:06:09 You don't think? I've seen women. I've seen women finer. I've seen women look better. That's just me personally. Right, right, right. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Until I was just, hey, in Houston, I saw 10 of them. Oh, my God. I know three for sure. Do me a favor. Don't mention Houston. You know what? You're right. You're right. My bad. I saw 10 of them. Oh my God. I know three for sure. Do me a favor. Don't mention Houston. You know what? You're right. You're right. My bad. I've been focused. I've been focused. I've been disciplined. Don't do that. Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Don't do that. But yeah, I think at some point she was dating Druski. Druski, yeah. Druski, yeah. I mean, obviously she's gorgeous. So I would do that. That's what I would do. In order for her's gorgeous. So I'm going to do that. That's what I'm going to do. In order for her to date you, I'm going to need you to make at least $10 million a year.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Damn. How many women on earth are making $10 million a year? That ain't got nothing to do with me. I'm telling you what my standard is, okay? What the fuck does that got to do with me? Hey, if she could say she wants somebody that'll make 5 billion, why can't we? Right. Listen, and that's the beauty of life, too, huh?
Starting point is 00:07:16 That's the beauty of life. As men, as women, we can have free requisites and have certain standards and abide by them and boundaries whatever it may be i want my man to have abc and i want my woman to have abnc and if they don't meet those standards i'm gonna keep it moving now the chances of finding some of the things that people require it's slim to none but if you're gonna shoot for the if you're gonna shoot for the moon or if you're gonna shoot for the stars and then fall short and land on the moon so be it but here's the you know i like here's the thing though oh joe you see how women can have standards women can say i want somebody six foot
Starting point is 00:07:49 tall i want somebody to make x amount of dollars i want somebody that has a degree i want somebody that's well read and likes to travel yeah shannon says shannon says oh he don't want a woman to pass gas right that's why you're single you You see? Now, women just listed on five, ten things what they want. That ain't why you're single. But, hey, I say, I don't want a woman to pass gas around me. I want a woman, she go to the bathroom, I don't need to know. Close the door. Oh, I can see why I'm single.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Women tell you all the things they want. The first thing a man says, they'll say, you know what? I want a woman that's about 5'10". I want her to have her natural hair. I want her to have everything natural. He's so shallow. A man tell you what he want, he's shallow. Women go out there and tell you everything.
Starting point is 00:08:40 I want this, this, this, and this. Hey, I don't blame you, baby. Don't settle. Don't settle. Yeah. But a man's supposed to settle. But women never supposed to settle. They love that.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Man, y'all better miss me. Yeah. Hey, it's an ongoing battle, Arnold. It's an ongoing battle of the sexes. And what we want, what we require, there's a lot of delusion in it as well. It's... i like it i like it whatever you believe in whatever your standards may be go for it go for it again like i say shoot shoot for the highest the highest you can the chance of
Starting point is 00:09:18 you you getting you know what you're actually shooting for is slim to none, but hope and believe that one day you may achieve it. But I mean, I'm saying, I don't I don't care. I don't care what race you date. I don't care whatever the case may be. But it seems to be jaded for one side that a woman gets to have all these prerequisite that they require from a man. But the moment a man says this, oh, he's shallow. Oh, he's this, he's that.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Why can't I say I want this out of a woman? Like women say they want this from a man. That's all I'm asking. I don't care what you date. I don't care who you date. But I'm just asking, why can't men have standards like women we're supposed to take what anything we're supposed to take anything that wink at us and i lay down hey you better be glad
Starting point is 00:10:13 you're out of your 57 i'll give it down from 87 yeah you ain't fit to put no stipulations on me double standards double standard depending on your ass that's a great topic that's a great conversation if she if a hundred thousand whatever the case may be most of the time
Starting point is 00:10:39 men don't say oh she needs to make this okay you treat me good okay blah blah blah but also you gotta think don't say oh she needs to make this okay you treat me good okay blah blah blah then you know i think and but but also you got to think about this too uncle men that make that kind of money men that make that kind of meaning five million and more they like dealing with women that don't have as much or really don't need them because they don't want to deal with women that need that that don't need them they want to deal with women that don't need them. They want to deal with women that need them
Starting point is 00:11:05 that puts them in positions of power where they're able to control what you can and can't do. So they enjoy that. And most women, I don't think they understand. When you deal with these men that have that kind of money
Starting point is 00:11:17 that are taking care of you and doing everything for you, there's really no freedom. Because you make one mistake the chance of getting that again don't you it's slim to none you got to be careful reason why men because a woman that makes that kind of money she don't have that kind of time to devote to a man that's making that kind of money man anyway so women that don't make that money the man is expecting them to be there at their beck and call If a woman make that, she's working just as hard as a man that's making that.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Yeah. So that's why you don't see a lot of times, sometimes not all, but I'm talking about like movie stars. The thing is, you know why movie stars? Because the other know what it's like to live in that world. But when you start seeing men, okay, you make a million, you make two men, you make five, you make 10, you make 20.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Do you understand what is required of a woman to make that kind of a salary? Yeah, it's different. If it'd be coming home and cooking for you, if it'd be, no, bro, come on now.
Starting point is 00:12:19 It's different. So you have to understand, okay, I want somebody that's going to, you know, be the mother of my kids. I want somebody that's going to stay home and take care of the house. Woman that's making $10 million, I don't believe she's giving that up, Ocho. She don't work too hard to be put in that position. I'm just saying, I could be wrong, but it's hard. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:12:41 You're not wrong. You're not wrong because y'all understand, a woman that's making $10 million a year, that's a plan that's been thought out, strategized years in advance. Her whole life. And she's not messing that up. No, that's, that's, that's, that wasn't a mistake.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Yeah. That was not a mistake. So it's, it's, man, these women, they got real bold with it, but it is what it is. Yeah. Yeah. That was not a mistake. So it's, man, these women, they got real bold with it, but it is what it is. Yeah. Yeah, but listen, it eliminates gray area. It eliminates gray area and it eliminates games. Now, what it does do, it makes a percentage of the type of men that they can date.
Starting point is 00:13:19 It shrinks the pool very, very, very, very, very small. I want a man that makes $5 million. Well, I know one thing. All the men that makes $5 million. Well, I know one thing. All the men that make $5 million or more, I mean, well, the chance, I mean, you got to wait to turn to come off the bench. That's about it.
Starting point is 00:13:35 You ain't going to be the only one, but he does make $5 million. I mean, you know, they get the pick from the pawn on who they want to deal with. Hey, listen, that Pacific Day. You understand what that comes with now? I mean, listen, some sometimes women don't care as long as they got it.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Hey, but it is what it is. Ocho, I got something for you here. You have one hour to eat this for a hundred thousand. Ocho, are you doing it? Oh, that's easy. I can't do it. That ain't no sense of me lying. I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Man, what the hell you think I am? A lion or a dog or something? I ain't got no bottomless stomach. What the hell? That's only four burgers. There's a reason that they put four burgers in there. And chicken nuggets. And them drinks.
Starting point is 00:14:22 And them fries. I'm not doing that, Ocho. I can't eat that. And them drinks. And them fries. I'm not doing that, Ocho. I can't eat that. I know me. Yeah, two Big Macs and 20-piece McNuggets. And large fries. That's gone. Bro, do you realize how long ago that's been?
Starting point is 00:14:39 Hell no. Man, I can't eat that. In an hour? Kobe, what's the name of the hot dog? Yeah. If you can eat all them hot dogs, you can finish them burgers.
Starting point is 00:14:57 And listen, you have the four sodas there to wash everything down right away. To make it go down easy. Trust me, you can... You know what? The world can't... Joey Chestnut eat that in five minutes. Joe Chestnut.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Probably could. I can't... Ain't no... Ain't no... Look. I don't have the desire. I can't eat like I once could. Once upon a time,
Starting point is 00:15:21 yeah, I can eat. I can eat two Big Macs, 20-piece nugget, large fry large large drinks super size i can't eat that hold on let's keep everything let's think keep everything in the context unc the word can't should not be i cannot we learning a hundred thousand yes i'm not making myself sick with that. So you can't, you can't eat that for a hundred thousand.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Then that means you don't need that. I need that. For 52, I can eat it for 5,200. I can't do it for a thousand. I can do it for 5,200 though. Man, hold on.
Starting point is 00:16:00 That's one, two, one, two, that's 12 nuggets. That's a, hold on, that's a double quarter. That look like two double quarter pounders, four double quarter pounders,
Starting point is 00:16:14 a medium fry, large fry, and four, oh, hell no. Hell to the no. It's a 20 piece and four quarter pounders, but it look like they got double meat. four quarter pounders but it look like they got double meat double quarter pounders yeah oh
Starting point is 00:16:30 hell no now you got four cheeseburgers I don't want no cheese though cause after that first burger it's over that first burger with cheese if ain't no lactate around it's over. That first burger with cheese,
Starting point is 00:16:46 if it ain't no lactate around, it's a wrap. Yeah, and done, huh? Yeah, okay, that's understandable. Now you're giving me other factors and reasons why you wouldn't be able to eat it. Okay, I got it. See, I know me.
Starting point is 00:17:01 I know what's going to impact me. Hey, I go up there and it's like, hey, if I see a fruit, if it's just apples, I bypass. I don't want none of that. Apple peels, gone. Chocolate milk, they're gone. I don't eat food with it. I don't taste no dairy unless I got lactate. I always got me a little kit. Shelly made me a little kit. I got Benadryl. I got lactate I always got me a little kit
Starting point is 00:17:25 Shelly made me a little kit I got Benadryl I got Zyrtec I got Claritin I got lactate I got Advil I got Tylenol yeah I got a little kit
Starting point is 00:17:35 if I ain't got that kit I'm good I don't touch no ice cream I don't do none of that and then have to get on the plane cause I'm not going on no bathroom on no plane that ain't never gonna happen I don't touch no ice cream. I don't do none of that. And then have to get on the plane? Because I'm not going on no bathroom on no plane. That ain't never going to happen.
Starting point is 00:17:52 You ain't going to use the bathroom? So you ain't never, man, you never do number two on the plane? Lord, please don't let that happen to me by myself. Hey, you can't, you can't, you can't live like that, man. You can't. It's just, you have too many rules it's just you have too many rules man you have too many rules hold on
Starting point is 00:18:09 chat y'all see them bathrooms on the airplane man people done peed all over the bathroom come on Ocho I I take my knee or something I ain't touching nothing
Starting point is 00:18:20 with my hand never have me with jungle rock you dress the toilet seat up with toilet tissue touch another with my hand. Never have me with Jungle Rock. You dress the toilet seat up with toilet tissue two times. You put two layers on it and you sit down. You just boonk over here. Oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:18:38 You tripping. You tripping. Man, go to the bathroom. You go to the bathroom, baby. You go to a restaurant. You go to the bathroom. You in the gym. You go to the bathroom. You go to the bathroom, baby. You go to a restaurant, you go to the bathroom. You in the gym, you go to the bathroom. You on a plane.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Hell no. Yes. You layer the seat with toilet tissue twice. And second of all, I'm too big. What do you mean you're too big? Hey, I need the door open. I need the door open. You ain't got to sit.
Starting point is 00:19:11 You don't have to sit all the way down. You can squat. With my hips and my knees? Oh, yeah. Well, you ain't got to. Well, damn, how long you got to use? Hey. You get out your system and stand back up.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Hey, man, when I normally go out, the hot down the pocket. Hey, man, I'm going to let y'all have that one. I go, hey, I like to be spread out. I like no clothes I'm butt naked all my clothes
Starting point is 00:19:47 nice and neat I'm just you know I'm like this here I ain't bothering nobody right I got you but listen circumstances change
Starting point is 00:19:56 based on the environment where you at I can't on the airplane you can't get naked you pull your pants down to your ankle and you squat layer it up if you want put your pants down to your ankle and you squat. Layer it up
Starting point is 00:20:05 if you want to, if you want to sit down and be comfortable. Okay, I got you. I understand. Nah, I'm good. You eat anything too. Who? You. Part of the reason why I'm never sick is because I eat anything.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Part of the reason why I never probably never sick is because I eat anything. Part of the reason why I never probably got hurt because I eat anything. Starting point is 00:21:40 I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,

Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson,
Starting point is 00:23:32 Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible.
Starting point is 00:23:56 In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
Starting point is 00:24:16 I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane,
Starting point is 00:24:39 I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Oh, Joe. Yo. Look who's joining us. Hey, he's 6'6", 464 pounds. He could become the largest draft pick drafted in NFL history.
Starting point is 00:25:15 And boy, he had a pro day last week. He bench pressed 225 36 times. Me too. More than any player did at the combine earlier this year. Yeah. He also ran the 40. And 5'3", 9", he broke six seconds at over 460 pounds. Had a 25-inch vertical jump.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Y'all, let's put some hands together for Florida's outstanding defensive tackle, Mr. Desmond Watson. Dad, what's up? Dad, you can hear me? What's up, little fella? Boy, hear me? What's up, little fella? Boy, you good? What's up, young dad? I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Hey, where you at? Where you at right now? What state you in? I'm in Florida. Wait, what? What, you from the crib? Yeah, I'm from Tampa. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:25:58 You in Tampa right now? Okay, man, I'm coming to see you tomorrow. We're going to cheer. Let me ask you this, Dad. the pro you know uh florida's having their pro day what what were you hoping to accomplish and do you feel you accomplished that in your pro day um i think i'll just go in there trying to surprise everybody you know i feel like everybody looking away and stuff like that and don't expect me to be able to move around because you know usually people my size can't.
Starting point is 00:26:25 So I think I was going there trying to surprise some people and I think I did. You definitely did. You definitely surprised some people because you picking them up and putting them down. I'm like, well, damn.
Starting point is 00:26:34 He can move now. He can move. Before you go, hey, Dad, listen, if the scouts and the people that watch film and watch college football this year, man, and they watch you play,
Starting point is 00:26:43 you're sure their quickness is like no other, though. Your footwork is like no other, though. So they should know you can already move a little bit based on what you put on film already. So it really shouldn't have been no surprise to nobody when you went out there and did what you did. Listen, I got one thing. At 464 pounds, you think that's right? You think they got your weight right? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:27:06 but, you know, I still got to process, you know what I mean? I definitely going to lose weight. I feel like my outlook or the outlook of like,
Starting point is 00:27:14 you know, my supporters, my fans, stuff like that isn't the same as Scouts. So, you know, they got a number set for me that I got to get to.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And I think, you know, in order for me to be successful in the league, I get to the league at that. I got to get it. Now, I always thought know, in order for me to be successful in the league, to get to the league at that, I got to get it. Now, I always thought about this. They always tell you what you, what, how much you need to wear, what you need to do with your body.
Starting point is 00:27:32 How do you feel best? How do you feel you can play at your best? Is it, is it being a little lighter? Is it being a little heavy? Well, what do you think? Um, I don't know. I think, I think losing weight, you know know it definitely put me in a right spot for sure but i think you know i can play but at the same time i want to i want to do something if i get
Starting point is 00:27:50 there so i think being being lighter to help me you know i mean okay i heard i don't know if it's true uh were you at one point in time almost close to 500 and you've lost like 30, 40 pounds, haven't you? Yeah, close to it. Close to it. I ain't never touched it. So because I think the thing is right now, they're looking at you as a two-down player, first and second down. You stop the run, make sure, hey, your linebackers stay clean.
Starting point is 00:28:16 They flow to the ball. Hey, but hey, y'all talking about taking up all these blocks. I'm trying to eat too. I'm trying to make me some tacklers. Y'all talking about holding center in this guard and keeping them getting up on the linebacker. Bro, I need to eat. I need to to eat too. I'm trying to make me some tacklers. Y'all talking about holding center in this guard and keeping them getting up on the linebacker. Bro, I need to eat. I need to eat.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Yeah. But I saw you at Florida also. They gave you the ball. You carried the rung, Des. Yeah. That's really not, that's not my thing. You know, I usually don't
Starting point is 00:28:38 like being spoken about and stuff like that. But I know like since I got there, fans and stuff like that and then, you know, Napier gave me the opportunity. I couldn't pass it up so what if they put you
Starting point is 00:28:48 what if the NFL team say Dave you're going to be on the one yard line and they want you to dot that I they're going to put you at the I-4 position I'm doing it he pushed her so realistically because for me honestly
Starting point is 00:29:04 I don't think realistically i don't really know if getting under 400 but i think you can get down to say 420 420 and i think that would give you sustainability now you can play 25 30 30 plays a game is that something realistic is that would uh so what is what is the goal that you have in mind as far as weight and far as play total that you think that you know what i can be at my absolute in mind as far as weight and as far as play total that you think that, you know what, I can be at my absolute best if I get this weight and play this many plays? I'm not really sure specifically, but I know, you know, like along the process I'll be able to feel it.
Starting point is 00:29:36 You know what I'm saying? As far as play total, same thing. You know, I got to feel it. I played against Tennessee, which is the fastest offense in the nation, all four years. So, I mean, like, to feel it. I played against Tennessee, which is the fastest offense in the nation, all four years. So, I mean, like, that's not really a worry of mine, but at the same time,
Starting point is 00:29:49 I know, I guess, the lighter I get, the more I can dominate because that's the goal, you know. So, I don't know. I say I got to feel it. Okay. What do the staff tell you?
Starting point is 00:29:57 Go ahead, Ocho. Go ahead. My bad. You're taking all my questions, man. Go ahead. Go ahead. Hey, Dad, I got a two-part question.
Starting point is 00:30:04 For one, I want to know how you like Cincinnati. Have you ever been Cincinnati? How would you like to be part of the Bengals? Now I'm not trying to tamper nothing. I'm just throwing a little birdie out there for you real quick. Just in case, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:15 I talk, I talk to people. I talk to management, you know, we need a little help on the defensive line. So I just want to know if you've been in Cincinnati, do you like it? If you don't like it,
Starting point is 00:30:23 I can give you a suggestion on where to go. Once you get drafted. Oh, I've've been to Cincinnati, do you like it? If you don't like it, I can give you a suggestion on where to go once you get drafted. I've never been to Cincinnati. You know, I'm from down south. I ain't really been too far. Unless I put in NCC, we ain't never traveled a little bit. But I don't care who it is. You know, if anybody's trying to put me in a jersey, I'm ready for it.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Well, I'm telling you, you look good in stripes. But my second part of my question was, when it comes to defensive tackles, especially those that are coming out in the draft this year, what do you think it is about you and your game that separates you apart from everybody else and why a team shouldn't want you instead of any other defensive tackles? Why should you be on the board first? I feel like I'm the best run stopper there is.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Even without, I think I got great technique. I pride myself on being the smartest on the D-line or at least knowing the offense and defense that we're going against. I think that's really
Starting point is 00:31:15 the biggest thing. I pride myself on being able to take a double team and stuff like that and just doing my job. I think me being prideful and doing my job is something that would
Starting point is 00:31:23 set me apart from most people. I like it. You heard that Mike Brown, Duke Tobin tobin ha yeah des tell me tell me what what you've heard as far as day one day two maybe you know first three rounds rounds four through seven what are you hearing and who who's shown the most interest in desmond watson? I did a couple interviews with different teams. Like I say, everybody's outlook isn't the same, apart from my supporters and stuff like that, compared to the NFL scouts.
Starting point is 00:31:54 I think they all can agree that I got athletic ability and I'm smart enough to do it. I got the ability, but like I say, that weight is a lot of concern for a lot of teams. So depending on how much weight I lose, depending on where I could go, you know what I mean? So...
Starting point is 00:32:08 Des, were you always a big... How much did you wear as a child? Were you always a big kid? Yeah, I was always a big kid but the crazy thing is I'm the only big one in my family. I come from a family of receivers, running backs.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Damn! I don't know. I think it was just destined for me to play in Syria. Everybody else had all the highlight plays and stuff like that. Like my older brother,
Starting point is 00:32:28 5'9", 165. Serious? I'm dead serious. That's dope. That's live. That's live. So, you said,
Starting point is 00:32:38 as long as somebody's going to give you a jersey, going to give you the opportunity to live out your childhood dream, which is playing the National Football League. Have you thought about what that moment will mean when you get that call and it's somebody that picks up the phone and says,
Starting point is 00:32:51 may I speak to Desmond? Like, yeah, let's see. We're going to select you with the next pick and whatever round that is. Have you thought about what that moment is going to feel like and how are you going to handle that moment? How are you going to respond in that moment? Oh, yeah. I mean, it'll mean a lot.
Starting point is 00:33:08 But I think in my situation, it still would be more time before I could celebrate it. You know what I mean? Because I think getting an invite to a camp or something like that or getting a call from a team definitely wouldn't be the end for me.
Starting point is 00:33:19 You know what I mean? It's going to be more. I got to make a team. I got to, you know, get it at 53 and then make a play. I think my first tackle or something like that in the NFL would be a lot more to me than the call.
Starting point is 00:33:29 Wow. I like that. Let me ask you this, Des. So have you hired a nutritionist? So what are the steps that you're looking to undertake to make sure you get to that weight? Maybe it's not a number that a team has set. Maybe it's a number that Desmond has set for himself.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Have you hired a nutritionist? And what are the steps that you're going to take to make sure you get to that number? Yeah, I was trained out in Miami, had nutrition and stuff like that. But after pro day, me and my agent were talking. I get back to work tomorrow, actually, in Tampa. All that type of stuff, you know. Nutritionist, working out, different types of workouts, therapy, all types of things. You know, nutritionist, working out, different types of workouts, therapy,
Starting point is 00:34:06 all types of things. You know what I mean? My goal is to play in the NFL and stuff like that and I know what it takes to do that. So, me and my family, my agent, we're all hands-on trying to get that.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Well, listen, whatever that goal may be, now, we don't have to talk about this online. Now, my resume, it speaks for itself as far as being a nutritionist and being able to provide
Starting point is 00:34:24 all the necessary nutrients that you need to either gain or lose weight. So if you want to get in contact with me, it's a way to reach me and I can be down in Tampa tomorrow. Yeah, I heard about your meal plan. That's how I got a different person. And go somewhere else. Yeah, Dan, don't you follow with that foolishness. Can't do it. You be heading
Starting point is 00:34:47 the other way, Dez. You be heading the other way. Dez, let me ask you a question. When you was running, what did you think,
Starting point is 00:34:53 did you think you could break six seconds? So in training, did you break six seconds in the 40? Yeah, I think maybe like a week
Starting point is 00:35:02 or two before that, I got five, high five, seven or something like that. I knew I was going to break it. I feel like we didn't have a lot of time to warm up. Stuff started locking up on me a little bit. You know what I mean? I definitely could have got a little bit better.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Hey, Dad, I don't know if you saw the game, but did you see the game when I think Baltimore played Pittsburgh? Oh, yeah. And Pierce got that interception. And he was about to take it to the house, and he took a knee. Dad, you ain't going to do that. You could have picked. You're going to the house, ain't it?
Starting point is 00:35:28 In that situation, you got to take a knee. My coach called the situation an expert. I can't do it. I don't know how to hold the ball. I know how to touch people. I don't know how to hold the ball. They just keep coming. Put your hand up in there.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Put your hands up. It sounds easy. It sounds easy. When people go in for your knees, you ain't think about holding them down He had a clear path You're supposed to hit that prime time Put your head behind your head
Starting point is 00:35:50 And start stepping on them I got a question And this will be a good one As a defensive tackle yourself I want you to rank your all-time Five greatest defensive tackles That you like or you enjoy watching or maybe that you model your game after
Starting point is 00:36:09 or you watch film on. Who do you think are your top five all-time defensive tackles? All-time. Oh, that's a good one. These are not people I model my game after. You know, that's like, I'm a little different. Aaron, of course.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Chris Jones up there. All time. It doesn't have to be all time. Just your five favorites. You can take 10 watches. Dex Lawrence. Dex Lawrence in there. Dex? For sure.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Okay. He go up there before it's over there. Dex? For sure. Okay. Yeah, he go up there before it's over with. And the person I like to watch a lot and model my game after is Vita Vell. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, you know what? Now you like Vita Vell. Now you know Vita eating McDonald's, man.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I'm just throwing that out there. I'm just telling you. I can't do it. Vita Vell get like 70 M's right now. I can't do it. Hey, tell me, hey, hey,
Starting point is 00:37:06 dads, when you get that second contract, you can treat yourself to some McDonald's, but that first contract is chicken, bread, fish, lean cuts of turkey and stuff like that. I got you.
Starting point is 00:37:17 I like that. Hey, you know what? Some team might get you dead just to stop that tush push. You stop, you stop the tush push. You stop the tush push. I got to. I don't come with this equipment. I don't think anybody got to sneak on me since I've been in college.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Let me ask you this, Dad. You had offers from Alabama, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennessee. What made you choose Florida? At the time, when I was coming out of high school, there was an SEC championship. Things were looking right. Of course, I'm from Florida too, but things were looking right. I think it came down to the wire with Florida, Texas A&M, and Alabama.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Texas A&M, I'm not sure why. I didn't think they valued me as much as Florida. And then with that being close to home, I feel like it wasn't a better choice okay so you want to stay close to home you're a Florida kid so you're from Tampa so Tampa to Gainesville what's that an hour drive 90 minutes
Starting point is 00:38:17 hour 30 that's real close you're going to the draft next year we're going to the draft next year. Excuse me. You're going to the draft this year. Now, you know I do the Madden ratings for Madden. So at the Combine, you did the bench press 225. You did it 38 times.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I did mine 37 when I was at the Combine. What would you want your strength to be? So I can go ahead and jot it down now on Madden. Top. Top. Top three? I ain't gonna say 99, but top three. So I'm gonna make you 97.
Starting point is 00:38:53 I got you. I got you. So your strength is gonna be a 97. What about your overall rating? I don't know. I need to be a run stopper or whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I need to have some run stopping ability. I got you. I'm gonna put that in. I'm gonna do that myself in the system. If I a run stopper or whatever it is. I need to have some run stopping ability. I got you. I'm going to put that in. I'm going to do that myself in the system. If I get fired, it is what it is. Dad, we're going to get you out of here on this one. Your Gators made it to the Final Four. They taking it all?
Starting point is 00:39:16 For sure. That last game was the worst game y'all going to see. That was it. And they caught it off. So, you know, they got to get it off. Dan, you who? You who, too, Dan? I did when I was younger.
Starting point is 00:39:30 But I think eighth grade, when I stopped, I can, though. Oh, you got skills like that? Yeah. I told you, I come from family of receivers and running backs. This footwork is in me. It is. Ben, congratulations. All the best, Dan.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Thank you for joining us for a couple of minutes, giving us a couple of minutes of your time. We wish you the best of luck. And when you get drafted, come back and holler at your favorite unkid, your favorite number 85. Yeah. Don't forget me, Des, by the nutritionist job.

Starting point is 00:43:33 Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. Starting point is 00:44:38 DDG said he spent $15,000 on a designer bag for a girl, but won't cover her rent. He said, I'd rather buy a girl a $15,000 designer bag, but wouldn't give her $2,000 to pay her rent. He said, a girl asked me to pay her rent. I'll probably never talk to her again after that. Well, listen, I mean, the girl is smart, right? If you buy a $15,000 bag, you know what you can do with that bag, right? No, tell me she don't buy me no,000 bag, you know what you can do with that bag, right? No, tell me don't buy me no bag. Tell me you give me the money.
Starting point is 00:45:09 It don't make no sense. He already said he ain't paying the rent. So if he buy you that bag, ain't no point in walking around with a $15,000 bag and you got no money in it. Selling it.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Yeah. Bingo. That was my whole point. That's what I was getting ready to say. But see, Ocho, that's why I like to ask people what they want. Oh, I really like the bag,
Starting point is 00:45:32 but okay, can you... Boom! Yeah. Okay. Ain't no biggie. You're not getting both. You ain't getting both. You got to pick and choose, huh?
Starting point is 00:45:43 Pick one. I don't care. One or the't care one or the other one or the other right whatever it is that's why i like to ask people what they want because i want to give you what i want you to have what you want exactly what you want yes and i don't at the end of the day i've never like we like i've been in Ochoa, look, I've never like, we, like I've been in relationships and I give somebody something,
Starting point is 00:46:09 I've never asked for it back. Didn't ask for it back. Man, what you think, I don't care. She wouldn't say, what I'm going to do with the bag? Get into my sister?
Starting point is 00:46:21 Right, right, right, right, right, right, right. No. Uh, right, right, right, right, right. No.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Now, I have, was potentially going to give somebody a bag. Right. But it didn't, you know, I ended up keeping it. Still got it. Hey, you really, hold on. That's a, no, that is a great topic. If you do buy something for somebody, specifically for that individual, and you know it's something that they like,
Starting point is 00:46:52 if they mess up before receiving it, you're not going to give it to them? Hell no. It'd be a damn fool to. Damn. If you buy something for a young lady, and she behaves in a manner that's undeserving of... Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Hold on. I don't reward bad behavior. We can stop right there. You're not going to give her the bag, right? Okay, yeah. I was just curious how your angle, you know. I was curious what you do because you're a giving person.
Starting point is 00:47:23 And you seem like you're a good dude. You seem like the type of dude that will give a woman grace if she messes up. Yeah, but she's not getting a bag. Okay, understandable. Also, she said, DDG later said, I'm an emotional trick to the point like, say I wake up in the morning now and like, you fuck around and we wake up on some eggs. They ain't even got to be good. Or say I leave the room and go downstairs and come back in the bed made.
Starting point is 00:47:53 I might go ahead and go to Chanel for you. It's a little thing because, you know, I don't get gifts. I don't get tricked on. Who is this talking like this? DDG. You know, he had the baby with Haley Bailey, right? It's Haley. Oh, these little kids, man. Is it
Starting point is 00:48:13 Haley or Hallie? Which one is it, Chad? Y'all know. You heard me? Huh? These little kids, man. Okay, Hallie Bailey. Yeah, they little kids, man. Hallie? Okay, Hallie Bailey. Yeah, they little kids, man. They just, they doing what they do at that age.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Hey. Hell no. Make me know you ain't getting no designer bag after that you gotta do more than that to get a designer bag up out of me okay
Starting point is 00:48:49 okay what's what's what's hey ladies you want a designer bag ask Uncle
Starting point is 00:48:55 what do you got what you need to do you can't ask you just gotta do it cause if you're doing what I ask you to do no mm-mm
Starting point is 00:49:03 figure it out hold on how they gonna how they gonna know what to do if they don't ask you what it is you need them to do? Figure it out. You got to ask for what you want. See, now you're being difficult. You're being difficult. Figure it out.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Don't be difficult, huh? Look, the one thing, once you get to a certain age, let's just say a young lady, let's just say between the ages of 30 and 50, she know what a man like. She know what she need to do to make him happy. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, we know all minute. That's funny. I mean, making the bed,
Starting point is 00:49:42 I mean, I got a cleaning service. I got a lady to clean my house three times a week. Now, it's going to take more than that, don't you? Hey, man. Let me tell you what it is. It's a feeling I get
Starting point is 00:49:54 when I'm with said individual. Ooh. Hey, I know that feeling. It's a feeling that I get when I'm with that individual. Hey, I know that feeling. What I do, how much I do. I know that feeling, Hey, I know that feeling. What I do, how much I do. I know that feeling, huh?
Starting point is 00:50:08 I know that feeling. I know that feeling. Hey, can I tell you something? Yeah. It's a good feeling. Being with said individual, especially when they appreciate you. Nope. You don't know what I'm talking about, huh?
Starting point is 00:50:25 That's a good feeling, man It is Man Yeah So you, uh So what they gotta do for Ocho to buy a Chanel Or a Birkin Or a YSL
Starting point is 00:50:40 Or an LV Or maybe Maybe you gonna go get them a Patek Or you gonna get him an Old Mars Baguette man listen Vacheron Constantine I just man
Starting point is 00:50:50 I ain't LP Jordan and we family right yeah I just went to Chanel and bought three and bought three classics back to back
Starting point is 00:50:59 huh three classics back to back one walk damn and this was one two three what day was this it was about three weeks ago
Starting point is 00:51:16 must be nice hey it feels good to be appreciated that's it it ain't hard it ain't simple Hey, it feels good to be appreciated. That's it. It ain't hard. It ain't simple. I mean, for us, it's all about choosing who chooses you. That's what you got to do.
Starting point is 00:51:37 And people are like, well, you don't like this. No, I like who like me. They like me. It's easy for me to like them. Because a lot of times when I like somebody, they ain't really feeling me like that. So I'm going to see early on, you like me? It's so easy.
Starting point is 00:51:52 I'm not sure when we, when I hear women always say, I need you to apply pressure. There should be no pressure. There should be no pressure. No pressure that need to be applied. Everything should be reciprocated. Yes.
Starting point is 00:52:09 It's such a dumb game. I got to prove to you, in order for me to prove to you that I like you, I got to spend money to get you to like me back. Bitch. Oh, my bad. What are we talking about? I get it, Ocho. You preaching to the choir.
Starting point is 00:52:28 You know how I feel. Listen, that same choir... No, no, time out. That thing just... You know how you dance when somebody hit the DJ table when you were growing up? What happened? Did your kid say you bought
Starting point is 00:52:43 three Chanel last week? I think that was about... Hey, you owe me 52. Join the guest train. Man, I just thought about that. I was like, hold on, wait a minute. Chad, y'all heard this man? This man told me, yeah,

When I offered to pay you and I said, can you please find a method of payment and download the app on your phone? I said PayPal.
