Boost Mobile is now a legit nationwide 5G network. So I have to take a break from all the jokes here for just a second and put my serious voice on because I would never ever joke about a 5G network that has invested billions in building 5G towers across the country. Not even once. Not even if Mr. Boost Mobile himself asked me to. There's nothing funny about it. Boost Mobile is now a legit nationwide 5G network and also provides coverage across 99% of America. Seriously, visit BoostMobile.com or your nearest Boost Mobile store location
Starting point is 00:03:56 to learn more. Boost Mobile network together with our roaming partners covers 99% of the U.S. population. 5G speed, not available in all areas. Ocho. When? Did you get Rell this Airman's bag for Valentine's Day? Rell posted a pic earlier. What? She did? She got, oh, boy, she must be out there spending that money, boy.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Yeah, you know, listen, listen. If you ain't with me, if you ain't my lady, if you ain't my old lady and we ain't together, I ain't spending no money on you, boy. So you know what me, huh? I don't play that. I don't even play that. I don't even play. It was him, Chad. Huh?
Starting point is 00:04:35 It was him, Chad. I don't play that. What I look like spending on somebody that don't claim me publicly. Shoot, man. Oh, there you go right there. It was him. What'd it say? Oh, there. It was him. Ooh, somebody bought her something nice. That might be a little boo,
Starting point is 00:04:50 huh? She might got her little boo or something, huh? Man, you bought that. You ain't fooling me. I'm just telling you. I'm going to tell you like it is. I was asleep all day. I'm trying to recover from my week in New Orleans. Your credit card wasn't asleep? in New Orleans. So I ain't even had... Your credit card,
Starting point is 00:05:05 your credit card wasn't asleep. It must have been because I ain't had no charge. Hey, I tell you what, you'll get a charge at the end of the month. Boy, one thing about it, it's one thing about me.
Starting point is 00:05:18 You know me. I don't leave with no money. And if you... Bruh, y'all been together five years. Cut that bull jive talking about lead with money it's been it's been six though
Starting point is 00:05:28 but that's okay it's been six but hey listen I don't know who bought that boy but I whoever bought that
Starting point is 00:05:35 I show Ocho Ocho bought it nah I'm telling you I wouldn't lie to you I lied for you before I lied to you
Starting point is 00:05:43 but whoever bought that boy keep them gifts coming boy keep them cause the more you do the less I got to you, I wouldn't lie to you. I lied for you before I lied to you. But whoever bought that, boy, keep the gifts coming, boy. Because the more you do, the less I got to. You hear me? No, you got to match it. Match who? I ain't matching nothing. I'm from here in the dough.
Starting point is 00:05:57 You got to match it. Yeah, Chad. I don't know where that came from. Y'all know your boy don't spin like that, boy. Especially not on somebody that ain't mine. You hear me? Stay with me, boy. It's still yours.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Nah, I don't know, boy. Somebody done bought real something, boy. You know what? She might have bought it herself and then acted like somebody bought it. Because I done seen that happen before, too. Me, too. Did you buy a Titus?
Starting point is 00:06:26 Titus said, nah, I ain't got no money. Said, my daddy sees my credit cards. Steelers superfan pays for a billboard begging Art Rooney to trade Tomlin or sell the team. The standard is mediocrity. Trade Tomlin or sell the team, Rooney. We've had enough. The standard is mediocrity. Trade Tomlin or sell the team, Rooney. We've had enough. The standard is mediocrity. Trade Tomlin or sell the team.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Paid for by Kevin Adams. Hey, mediocrity? 17 win season? Above 500? 18, 17 win season? That's mediocrity. How many Super Bowl appearances? They haven't won a playoff game since 2016.
Starting point is 00:07:00 It's 2025. Mediocrity. See, hold on. Let me ask you a question. Yes. So they let Tomlin go, right? Yeah. His name is Kevin Adams, huh?
Starting point is 00:07:11 Kevin Adams? Yep. You let Tomlin go, who you bring in? See? What happens there? That's the same thing men and women do.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I can't get out of a relationship because who I'm going to get to replace is what I got. And I'll stay in a bad relationship. You see what you did? You see? Hey, you know what happened? 98% of the time, they leave that person thinking the grass is green on the other side and be right there watering nothing but goddamn soil.
Starting point is 00:07:37 But here's the thing, though, Ocho. If Mike Thomas say the standard is the standard, six Super Bowls. Where is being above 500 the standard? You said that. Hold on. All right. Well, listen, we got to be realistic as well now. We have to be realistic as well. You have to build yourself up to having a Super Bowl team.
Starting point is 00:07:59 You know what that takes? It takes personnel. You know what else that takes? It takes a quarterback. A quarterback that is consistent. We don't have any question coming into the season who's going to be a starter. There's so many different factors that come into play, even being able to
Starting point is 00:08:15 get to the standard. So Mike Tomlin has no say in personnel. He has no say in free agency. He has no say in the Final 53. He has no say in personnel he has no say in free agency he has no say in the final 53 he has no say in anything draft yeah he does okay he does so he bears some culpability
Starting point is 00:08:33 yep when Ben was getting old not the last year but when Ben was getting old did they go out and get another quarterback when Favre was getting old what did the Packers do they went and got Rodgers when Rodgers was getting old did they go out and get another quarterback? When Favre was getting old what did the Packers do? They went and got Rodgers.
Starting point is 00:08:47 When Rodgers was getting old what did they do Ocho? They went out and got Jordan Love. When Ben Roethlisberger was getting old what did they do? They let him wither on the vine.
Starting point is 00:08:56 That's Tarleton. They let him what? Let him wither on the vine. Oh, that's a good one. I ain't never heard that before. Wither on the vine. I'm just saying I mean when you watch the Steelers when you look at the Steelers
Starting point is 00:09:12 at any point in time do you say you know what that team go to the Super Bowl when was the last time you said it Ocho during my tenure during my tenure every year fact during my tenure every year we played them they were a team whose identity was their offense no their identity was their
Starting point is 00:09:31 defense they had opportunity to go to Super Bowl now I haven't seen that still the game in general the landscape of the game has changed in general as far as the Steelers the Browns they've been shifted they shifted once they got Ben, A.B. and Le'Veon they were an offensive-based team.
Starting point is 00:09:46 They were an offensive, yeah. They were an offensive. They used to be a defensive-based team. Early in Ben's career, they were a defensive-based football team. They had Troy. They had R.C. They had Ryan Clark.
Starting point is 00:10:00 They had Peezy. You know, they had those guys like Foot, Timmons, James Farrier, right, right. All of them. Yeah, they haven't given us that feel in a very long time.
Starting point is 00:10:16 No. In a very long time. But in order to do that, in order to find that consistency again, it takes time. But here's the thing, Ocho. It takes time. It takes drafting. It takes drafting.
Starting point is 00:10:26 It takes all season acquisitions. It takes finding a quarterback, finding a franchise quarterback. That's where it all starts, huh? That's where it all starts. And you don't have a franchise quarterback, then you have to have a dominating defense. You got to have a dominating defense
Starting point is 00:10:40 and a quarterback that gets you by week to week and doesn't put your team in harm's way. Let me ask you a question. Remember the year the Bears went to the Super Bowl? Yeah. Who was the quarterback? Rex Grossman. Those days are over, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:10:54 You ain't got a defense good enough to overcome that. Those days are over. Those days are over. So I don't even know why you would attempt to build your team like that because that's not happening. They won't allow you to play that type of brand of football anymore. Right. But here's the problem that he has.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Talk to me. Lamar Jackson is 27. Joe Burrow is also in that division. Yeah. So while you go 9-8 every year, or you go 10-7, what is that going to get you? Patrick Mahomes is about to turn 30. Josh Allen is 28.
Starting point is 00:11:35 So I'm just trying to figure out, what is 10-7 going to get you? What is 9-8 going to get you? Oh, Steve, Mike Thomas has never had a losing season. Right. He didn't win a playoff game in nine years. Make sure you put that in the bio, too. Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season. He also hasn't won a playoff game
Starting point is 00:11:53 since 2016. Chiefs fans go after C.J. Gardner-Johnson's mother's restaurant in Florida after his comments on Travis Kelsey's ex. Wait, what? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I guess his mom owns Travis Kelsey's ex. Wait, what? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I guess his mom owns a restaurant in Florida.
Starting point is 00:12:10 He said something. I guess he comments on Travis Kelsey's ex. Okay, oh yeah, I saw that. Man, look here, I don't know. You got to be careful, Ocho, when somebody you know has a business. Right. Now they flooded with negative reviews on Yelp and things of that nature.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Right. All of a sudden, they, you know, stuff like that. So just, you know, I guess he's saying that he should have stayed with that thick. Oh, speaking of Travis Kelsey. That was a long time ago. She's moved on. Well, clearly she's not because she was on the field last night
Starting point is 00:12:53 with Eagles with confetti. Yeah, yeah. I mean, but Travis has been gone a long time. I don't know. I've never been petty like that, Ocho. So, whatever happens, I move on, you move on, we move on.
Starting point is 00:13:10 I ain't got nothing bad to say about you. He hasn't said nothing at all. Nothing at all. What is there to say, though? There's nothing to say. Do you understand that there's nothing wrong with Nicole, you know, beautiful young lady. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:27 I'm sure she's making somebody very happy. I'm sure somebody will be happy. Oh, hopefully she is. But you have to understand the situation that Travis Kelsey is in now. This is a whole different ballgame, huh? Right. It's about Taylor Swift. But this is different, you know. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:43 It's going forward for the foreseeable future. You know, this is... Man, look, he gave up this for that, bro. Okay, maybe you wouldn't have. Who? Who wouldn't have? But I'm saying, Ocho, you know how it is. We base everything off
Starting point is 00:14:01 of looks and aesthetic. We do. We do. She got... you talking about? We do. She got, what, we talking about a Billy? Man, stop playing with me. Hey, you preaching to the choir now.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Turn it around and give that to the congregation. Hell, I'll be the choir. I'm behind you singing. The congregation better stop playing. Yeah. I'm thinking long-term. Long-term. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Assets versus liabilities. I'm not saying the individuals are a liability. I'm just saying I understand. I mean, I know what this is bringing to the table. I know what that's bringing to the table. Like I said, for me, I just, like I said, I just prefer to just like move on in a different direction. I don't really talk about
Starting point is 00:14:48 my exits with, you know, somebody's like, really, I don't really care to talk about that. That ran its course. I'm over here now.
Starting point is 00:14:56 I don't really, because, you know, there's nothing good that can come out of talking. Hopefully my ex, like I said, I don't,
Starting point is 00:15:02 I don't, I don't beat my exes up. I don't say this we moved on we had a great time it was a great two year one year five months eight years ten whatever the case may be right it ran its course that's and you know you just move on yeah yeah but y'all ain't finished y'all ain't finished what you call them tell me what i should do yeah because you don't know i'm happy it's It's not like because if we were both happy, we would both still be in this situation. That's the way I look at it.
Starting point is 00:15:32 But hey, to each his own. I think Usher got his U-piece from him. Hey, Benny the Jeweler, if you see this, I need a pinky ring. I need a pinky ring for April, baby. Holla at your boy.

Starting point is 00:21:47 Okay, I see you. I see you. Y'all see that right there? Look at that. You can't have money, boy. You see that right there? That's that Tiffany, that new thing that just came out for Tiffany. Wait, I can't.
Starting point is 00:22:01 It looks just plain, though. What is it? It ain't plain. It got joints on it. I see them. I see them. Baguettes. Oh, it's different on each side. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Okay, okay, okay, okay. You know something I picked up for myself with Krimble? I like a little Krimble gear. A little Krimble gear every now and then. It ain't even Christmas, boy. We in February. It wasn't when I got it for Krimble. Okay, okay, okay. I got it for criminal. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:22:26 I got it for criminal. That's it. That's it. I'm out of gas now. Hey, speaking of holidays, listen, Valentine's Day coming up. Boy, you got your Valentine's Day? Oh, I know you guys are Ocho. Oh, I saw a real little humble man.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Ocho said, man, Ocho one time picked me up in a helicopter. Oh, yeah. In a helicopter. Oh, yeah. I don't play. I don't play when it come to holidays. Like, if we all play. I play. I don't play. I don't play when it comes to holidays. I play. I don't play.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Helicopters, you know, shopping sprees, you know, we do Chanel store. Now, see, this is the problem, huh? We ain't together right now. So you still got to do it, huh? You got, huh? What happened? Hey, Ocho, you still got to do that, man, though. You got to do that. you gotta do that you think yeah yeah for sure
Starting point is 00:23:09 hold on whoa whoa time out chat y'all chat y'all with me yeah because you said she still help you with your stuff oh yeah now now listen listen that is I have a question now chat y'all listen to me I have I have businesses you know stuff that's going on away from nightcap, away from football. She keeps everything in order for me because I got going on. I got 50, 11 jobs. So she keeps all my ducks in a row. So I'm able to travel and things are in order. Well, you got to break up.
Starting point is 00:23:39 You got to break off. OK, now, how much of the breaking off do I do as far as going out and doing things at least at bare minimum at bare minimum $10 to $15 $1500 $10 to $15 you know
Starting point is 00:23:58 $5 on Valentine's even though she left me now I understand her taking care of my business and making sure everything's straight despite us not being together, but you think... Yeah. Chat,
Starting point is 00:24:13 what y'all think? I would listen. I remember one time not too long ago, I went out to when it was rough. I'm talking about when it just happened. I tweeted out I needed an assistant because I thought, well, damn, I got all this stuff going on. If she's out the picture, I ain't going to be able to do all that. And obviously, she's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:24:32 Still doing all that. I'll be not on good terms. I'm still going to make sure everything is okay. And she's done that to date. Yeah. I mean, look, if I tell you I'm going to do something, I was seeing this chick one time, Mocho, and her girlfriend was going to get married, but it was going to be a
Starting point is 00:24:49 destination wedding. And so she's like, man, I'm not going to. I said, look, I'll pay for you to go to your girlfriend's wedding. Right. We ended up breaking up. And
Starting point is 00:25:04 I told her, I hit her up. I said, hey, I promised you I was going to take care of your girl for you to fly to your girlfriend to a wedding. Okay. Here, come back, get the money. Hey, she didn't even come in the house. I met outside. She pulled up in the driveway.
Starting point is 00:25:21 I gave her the money, gave her cash. She said, thank you. You're a man of your word. Boom. You ain't go? No, hell no. I wasn't going anyway. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I was paying for her to go. Okay, okay. Because it was a destination wedding, and it was, you know, it was expensive. I mean, she had a job, but, I mean, it was, you know, by the time she got an airline, by the time she got a flight, I mean, a flight and a hotel, I'm assuming at three-day minimum. So I gave her, I said, here, go, enjoy, have a great time. So she's comfortable.
Starting point is 00:25:58 So you're comfortable. Yep. That's how I am. Right. But, hey, I know everybody. If I promise you something, hey, I'm going to do it. Right. If I say I'm going to pay, look, I got you. I'm paying your rent.
Starting point is 00:26:19 If we break up, I'm going to go ahead, hey, I'm going to go ahead and give you money for the rest of the year. Right. We go our separate ways. Now you got me, now you jogging my memory and I'm thinking that I have an individual that we are no longer together, that is making sure all my business affairs are
Starting point is 00:26:37 in order. Despite the chaos and the turmoil going on between us. Now how much do I extend my services on a day like Valentine's Day as a thank you for what you're doing for me? What she's providing, what does that work to you?
Starting point is 00:26:56 That's a good one. Now, I think people in the chat might not understand that because they don't see it because they're not in that position or understanding of all I have going on outside of the jokes and the laughs. The serious part of life. So how much is that worth?
Starting point is 00:27:12 How do you value that? It's only what is it worth to you? Because I can tell you what, but she's not doing that for me. If you had to pay somebody to do that. It wouldn't be as much as what you told me to fork off, I don't think. I'm not sure. First of all, do you trust somebody to handle your business like that? To know your ins and outs?
Starting point is 00:27:35 So it's worth that. It's worth that. For me to try to replace Shelly. For I trust somebody implicitly. Couldn't put a price on it. Right. Okay implicitly. Couldn't put a price on it. Right. Okay. Okay. Couldn't put a price on it. Okay. So I got to be careful. So now
Starting point is 00:27:51 this is the next thing. Chat. Any ideas? I got three days. I got three days. What do you think? Talk to me. I didn't did it all. I didn't did yachts and helicopters. Well, I mean, Maldi. I mean, I've run out? Talk to me. I didn't do it at all. I didn't do yachts, I didn't do helicopters. I mean, Maldi.
Starting point is 00:28:05 I mean, I've run out of ideas to do. So, I mean, you good at this, Chad? Y'all have any ideas? The problem is that you've gone, I mean, bro, you out here. Once you go to the stars and the planets,
Starting point is 00:28:22 I mean, going to the moon ain't no fun no more. You done been to the stars, you done, I mean, what the hell? I mean, going to the moon ain't no fun no more. Hell, you done been to the stars. You done been to Pluto. You done been to Neptune. Yeah. Chat, you need ideas? Maybe I can do something simple.
Starting point is 00:28:34 You know, something simple. Hire some violinists. You know, maybe a live band. Maybe have a personal chef come in and cook a five-course meal. Hold on. How about the chef in a live band? Roses, flowers, she wake up, music, chef already down there cooking. But we in two separate houses now.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Hey, send him over there. We'll have him come to your place. We'll have him go to a place. I mean, that little place, he can't cook nothing there. He can't cook nothing but a pot of chili at your house. That little ass apartment you get. Man, real don't want no damn beanie weenie.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Send him over there to her place and do a breakfast or brunch, whatever the case may be. I like that. I like that. I like the live band. I like the live band playing while breakfast is being made. Yeah. I like that. That's while breakfast is being made. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:25 I like that. That's different. That's different. That's different. That's different. Ocho, a man finds surprise while cleaning out his girlfriend's car. Ocho, check a look at the photo. Hell no.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Oh, no. Hey. Don't throw up. Aren't you good? Oh, man. Sup? That look like the, hey. That look like the corner of a magnum it do but hold on with the corner of the magnum that's too small to be ripped off you can't you can't open it like that now he took a
Starting point is 00:29:58 oh man hey hey boy that got to boy, that got to hurt. Yeah, that got to hurt. Can you imagine you clean out your car and you find a car in a wrapple? No, he cleaned out her car. Oh, oh, oh, oh. That got to hurt. That got to hurt. Hey, something happened to the best of us, huh?
Starting point is 00:30:26 You hear me? Everybody hurts sometimes. Lord, have mercy. Hey, sometimes the rabbit got the gun. Sometimes you got the gun. Through life experiences, you understand, it can be you. Woo! Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:52 Good, good. Hey, hey, hey. You got that on you? I do. I do. I was hoping you'd say so. It's one thing, man. It's tough, man. It's tough, man. It's tough. Things like that happen. I think for men, we have to understand, despite our love for the female species, even when we are together, at times, human nature is undefeated.
Starting point is 00:31:25 It has showed us time and time again that at times, despite the love that they may have for you, there's always one. There's always one that can... We've seen it time and time again.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Hey, bro. Ochocho look on the bright side hey homeboy hey he ain't get wrong I mean hey I've been saying Ocho Ocho in a situation like that you gotta look on the positive side
Starting point is 00:32:00 you can't look at the negative you're looking at optimistic yeah okay okay okay you gotta look on the positive side. You can't look at me, you're looking at the negative. That's what you're optimistic. You're being optimistic. You got to look at the positive side, Ocho. That's the only way you're going to keep your sanity. Time out. So if that was your girl...
Starting point is 00:32:15 Whoa! Are you talking about me? Huh? If you cleaned out her car, you vacuumed her car, you found a car in the rabbit like that, that's what you're going to say? At, at least he ain't going in wrong. That's what you're going to say? Are you going to give her another chance? Are you going to give her another chance?
Starting point is 00:32:35 Are you going to give her another chance? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Joe. I'm just asking. He ain't got to look at the property. I ain't got nothing. I'm just asking. No, no, no. Oh, hold on.
Starting point is 00:32:48 All right, so you're out of there? If that's you, I mean, put yourself in his shoes. Do you see that? What you going to say? You going to call him? I mean, baby, well, listen, I know you made a mistake. Can we talk about it? I mean, are you going to give him another chance?
Starting point is 00:32:59 You know, he going to hit you with that. You know, listen, we all make mistakes. I was drunk. Whoa, that ain't no mistake. A mistake is leaving your iPad in the back of the seat on the plane. Okay, okay. Or leaving your briefcase in the rental car. That's a mistake.
Starting point is 00:33:19 How you mistaken let somebody mistake put meat in you? Oh, that's a good one. So are you saying in this situation, in this case, does that mean you out? There's nothing you can do depending on how much you love her. This is a great conversation. I'm just curious. I'm trying to see where your mind at. Now, listen. Now, one thing I want you to remember now.
Starting point is 00:33:41 I want you to remember back in your heyday. You hear me? Oh, yeah. You're going to hell. Back in heyday. You hear me? Oh, yeah, you boy with hell. Back in the day. Oh, back in the day. See? Now you got to think. Back in the day, I had a simple philosophy.
Starting point is 00:33:54 I heard them old men say, he said, boy, you're awful poor rat if you ain't got but one hole to climb up in. You know what I'm saying? I didn't understand what they meant until I got older. But I was probably like eight or nine, and the older men was talking. I was like, but it made sense.
Starting point is 00:34:10 I said, okay, cat coming, you got two holes. It wasn't until I got much older and realized they were talking about women. Yeah. Talking about you're all for Port Red if you ain't got but one hole to climb up in. I was like, ah, damn. Y'all been talking nasty. Y'all was talking. But see, the old man couldn't be talking like we talk around the boys.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Yes, sir. But obviously, when we around little kids, we keep it PG. Saying some of the same thing, but keeping it PG. Right. What would I do? Yeah, Ocho, I think I'm going to have to dip. You gone? Yeah. Right. What would I do? Yeah, Ocho, I think I'm going to have to dip. You going? Yeah. Damn.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Yeah. Yeah, that's tough. I mean, obviously, the more time you got in, the harder it is to leave. Harder to let go, yeah. I mean, y'all dating a week, but I don't know, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:35:06 It's tough. I just – sometimes you just got to chalk it up. Yeah. Sometimes you just got to chalk it up. Hey, because think about it. You and I have both been professional athletes. Hey, boy. You win some, you lose some.
Starting point is 00:35:24 It's a dirty game. You hear me? The game is the game, which is why when we talk sometimes and we have certain discussions, and I tell you one thing that I'm very good at is I'm able to compartmentalize and understand about managing my expectations. Yeah. Hey, put that back up there.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Put that back up there. Yeah, like I was... Yeah, that little at the corner. Don't that look like the corner? That little at the corner of a rapidote. Hey, Ojo, what if he found that corner in a roll pack?
Starting point is 00:36:01 Oh, no, not the roll pack. Don't put. He done beat the steering wheel off it. Oh, man. That's funny. Come on. That's funny. How could you?
Starting point is 00:36:21 Hey, that's funny. That's funny. That's that pain. And he go out there and frost it, Ocho, and all he see is a butt print in the window. Oh. Hey, you making it worse. Oh, my goodness. Hey, just a thought.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Just a thought sometimes can make you throw up and make you sick. Yeah, hey. Just a thought. Just a thought sometimes can make you throw up and make you sick. Yeah. Also, the Magnums, man. He don't put that... He put that toothpick in him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Hey, listen. It happens to the best of them. Depending on the lifestyle you live, you understand it can be you. Yeah. At some point in time, everybody ain't ever happen to be. No, you don't know that it's happened to you,
Starting point is 00:37:13 but it's done happen. And it's done happen more than once. Yeah. You better learn. You better learn. I say it all the time. Listen, you have to find a way to compartmentalize,
Starting point is 00:37:24 manage your expectations, understand it's not your property. I don't care about no goddamn title. I don't care about how much you say she love you. I don't care about none of that. I done seen it. A lifetime of experience. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:41 A wise man once said. What happened? No, I said a lifetime of experience as the wise man once said. Oh, yeah, for sure. But never lead you astray. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
Starting point is 00:39:21 What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like
Starting point is 00:39:46 Angeli are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra,
Starting point is 00:40:36 you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend,
Starting point is 00:41:46 award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Slick Rick Ocho don't know anything on Valentine's, don't do anything on Valentine's Day. Wait till the day after or do something for her the whole rest of the week so she knows she's special to you. Not just on Valentine's Day. Okay, okay, okay. Listen, I like the way you're thinking there, boss. I like the way you're thinking. I was
Starting point is 00:42:43 looking for some ideas. So that's a good one. That's a very good one. But you have to understand, you talk about waiting till the week. I really can't wait till the week because on that specific day, that specific individual is expecting something. And obviously, based on what she's doing for me, despite us being eh, it's warranted, just to be honest. And I ain and I ain't gonna lie to you. You know, I know I play around a lot. You know, this individual keeps my ducks in a row. She dotting my eyes and she crossing my teeth from a business standpoint. I ain't talk about nothing else. I ain't about no laying down horizontally or vertically.
Starting point is 00:43:19 I ain't talk about that. That's about from a business perspective. So I have to I have to do right. You know, you absolutely do. Yeah. So I have to do right. You absolutely do. I ain't going to go too crazy now. Must love cash. Shanna was finding it in Frogger and Nola. Will you be my Valentine? Roll packs on me.
Starting point is 00:43:39 I ain't used my coupon yet. Okay. Where you see me at? Hey, hold of hey speaking of speaking of valentine's right i had a message i had a message from somebody oh are you yeah a very good friend of mine very very very good friend of mine a friend of mine uh mom said you need to date an older woman now she's beautiful beautiful woman uh. Stay with me now. She is 49. Right up your alley.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Master's degree. Doctorate degree. Well educated. She can cook. You're a doctor? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. Don't get me this.
Starting point is 00:44:21 I'm just relaying the message. I'm relaying the message. And I told her, I already gave you her number, so she's going to text me. Bam. You already put me out there, Bam. They told me, hey, Bam, got a lot of rules. I don't know if you... I said, well, damn. Listen, and she said she don't have no problem damn. Listen, she said she don't have no problem
Starting point is 00:44:45 with the rules. She watched the show. She's watching right now. She probably watching right now. She watched the show and understand the rules and don't have no problem with it. That definitely helps. Can you share a personal story about you and Sterling when y'all were young?
Starting point is 00:45:00 Can you give me a birthday shout out to my wife, Kristen, of 15 years. Kristen, happy birthday. Hopefully you're not, if you're a Chiefs fan, it wasn't your best birthday gift. But if you're an Eagles fan, you got a lot to celebrate. Oh, let me tell you a story. He's going to probably get mad.
Starting point is 00:45:24 He's going to get mad because it happened uh we went fishing we went fishing uh with my grandmother well back then when we were young she's like all right boys let's go fishing it wasn't like you say now i don't really want to go you had to go ocho so you know my grandma had to put my grandma's fishing and my brother had broke his line so he was back there in the tackle box, you know, trying to get a hook and try to redo his line. So my grandma took the pole back and threw it, and he started hollering. And I didn't know why he was hollering.
Starting point is 00:45:58 She hooked him in the eyelid. Oh! Oh! I was like I mean how I was like why you hollering ah granny ah granny
Starting point is 00:46:15 how that happen my brother had some bad luck I was drinking a can since he got me going I'm going to tell some more stories Boy, that was luck. Boy, that, hey, my brother had some bad luck. I was drinking a can. Since he got me going, I'm going to tell some more stories. I was drinking a grape soda, and he had done something to me. So I saw this bee, this honey, this bee flying around. So I set the soda down, and I just watched that B like, hmm, sugar. I watched the B go down in the can.
Starting point is 00:46:50 I said, hey, I said, Spike, you want some? I handed it to him. Hey, you know that thing that hang down the back of your throat? That B stung him on it. Yeah. Boy, I was dirty. I was dirty, Ocho. That messed up, yo, boy.
Starting point is 00:47:15 That's messed up. I'm sure he'll tell one of those stories at the hall. Watch. But y'all heard it first. Tom Brady. He wore a Jacob and Company. You saw that? 800,000. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:33 We ought to go on and get us one, Ocho. Come again? We ought to get us one. We, Ocho and Unc and Ocho. I don't think so. I don't think we should. I think what we can do is we can keep it simple and plain. I think it had a little, you know, a few.
Starting point is 00:47:50 I just, I like my watch simple and plain. I don't like the diamonds and the ice on my watch. How you tell me, this man, did y'all see this man at Nightcap Live? He don't like ice now. Hold on. He out there looking like Flavor Flav with that big-ass 85, but he don't like ice now. He out there looking like Flavor Flav with that big-ass 85, but he don't like ice. I specifically said I don't like ice on my watch.
Starting point is 00:48:10 I want to be able to tell time. I want to be able to look at it and see exactly what time it is, not have, you know, the glaciers staring back at me. That's all. I'm like a plain Jane. But you wouldn't look right with with a watch like that. I would look just right. I'm just saying you you you are simple. You're very simple. I am. But I'm almost I can't give me about give me about eight months a year. I will
Starting point is 00:48:39 see if I did. I'll let you tell me when you see it on my, like, damn, that thing look good. Don't do it, man. Don't do it. Man, 800,000? Man, please. No. You have to think. He probably didn't have to pay for that. They sent it to him for the exact reason that people are going to want to know,
Starting point is 00:49:01 okay, what is that Tom Brady's ring? People are going to see it. It's a Super Bowl. Everybody's going to be watching. That's called marketing promo. I'm not even going to want to know, okay, what is that Tom Brady's ring? People are going to see it. It's a Super Bowl. Everybody's going to be watching. That's called marketing and promo. I'm not even going to charge you for this. I, uh, no, I can't. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:49:12 I just, $800,000. Now, I spent some money. Now, Lord knows I ain't. I can't take any of it with me. But $800,000 might be a little bit too much for me to get off of. Yeah. Especially for a watch. Hell, for anything.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Unless it's a house. I need to be able to sleep in that. Yeah, especially for a watch. Hell for anything, unless it's a house. I need to be able to sleep in that mofo. I mean, yeah. 800,000 on you? Hey, listen, take 800,000 and buy you some units.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Buy you some units. Hey, I'm looking back now. I could have taken 800,000 and bought me some Bitcoin. Man, if I'd have bought $800,000 worth of Bitcoin in 2015, Ocho, I'd have been, hey, I ain't gonna lie to you, Ocho. I wouldn't be working. It wouldn't be no
Starting point is 00:49:51 working, Ocho. It wouldn't? Ocho, I could have bought a coin for $2,500. They trade now between $85,000 and $100,000 per coin. I bought $800,000 worth. So how much would that be worth?
Starting point is 00:50:10 And would you be able to get that money out? You can buy whatever you want because you can buy anything. Whatever you want. You want to buy people. You can buy houses. You can buy cars. You can buy watches. There ain't nothing that you can't buy because damn near everything,
Starting point is 00:50:24 they're trading in it now. Okay, I understand. I understand. you can buy watches. There ain't nothing that you can't buy because everybody damn near everything. They're trading it now. Okay. I understand. I understand. I've never, I've never got into that. I never got into that. I say the Bitcoin was 10 cents in 2015. Well, he's about to get, he tried to get a profit on me cause he was charging me 2,500 though. 10 cents. 10 cents in a coin in 2015. You know what? I don't know enough about it. For me, first of all,
Starting point is 00:50:48 you got to have a wallet and to be able to remember the code. I had maybe three, four million dollars in there. I couldn't get in there because I forgot the code. I'd even be able to write that code down. I'd even have to put it in down. I need to have that paper. As far as currency is concerned,
Starting point is 00:51:08 I mean, Bitcoin would never take over the dollar, right? But see, they did that because like Silk Road on the black market. So if you wanted, people like to trade Bitcoin because I want to get somebody's information. So if I want to get credit card information, I want
Starting point is 00:51:24 to get personal information that I can do, you know, that's what you did it with. Ah. And then, so, hey, people adopted it like, hey, you want to buy a car? You want to buy a house? You want to buy whatever you want to buy? You can buy with Bitcoin now, don't you? But I don't know enough.
Starting point is 00:51:40 I didn't know enough about it then. I don't know enough about it now. Hey, to Uche, to whomever making their money, because you remember there was a lot of guys started taking their money. Trevor Lawrence took a lot of his signing bonus in Bitcoin. Odell took some of his money in Bitcoin.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Russell O'Koon. What's the guy from The Blind Side? The movie was based on Michael Orr. He took some of his money in Bitcoin. But nah, Uche, that ain't for me. The Volume.
