So, I mean, the mere fact that he's playing, because normally when guys, they're not expecting guys to make a ticket. Oh, Joe, they don't let, normally they don't let them guys play. right there in your own backyard that drafted you if what the owner said last week is not motivation to go out there and cut a plumb fool in an organized way. In an organized way, in a structure environment, it's still the game of football,

We're not pulling that this year. Y'all put that every year. No, no, no. I'm saying they've been relaxing in the preseason, right? Yeah. And then going to week one, trying to go from zero to a hundred. Oh, too. No, Joe, Jamar, T, I need y'all boys.

Get one or two series. Get one or two series. Just get the juices flowing. Get acclimated to the speed of the game. I know y'all, your veterans, now. Come on now. We can't start. We can't start the season, 0 and 2, 0 and 3 out the gate again.

We can't afford that. I get y'all a quarter. I give them a quarter, Ocho. They ain't going to play. No, not a court. No. They ain't playing no quarter. They ain't playing the first prez either game.

Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe, I love the practice so much. I love the practice so much. I love the preseason so much because I wanted to get my body as acclimated to game speed as fast as possible. Joe, we can practice for 100 days straight, full pads against yourself, and you get in the game. It's nothing like that. Nothing like that. It's fast as no matter what you do.

There's no way to duplicate and replicate the speed of an actual NFL game. I don't care about to practice. That's why I love them. I agree. I had coached. Hey, I told this before, Joe, I would not come out the game in preseason. I made Coach Lewis call a timeout. You wanted to get your reps in.

What? It's about one series. Man, we came out and the tools went in. I told the receiver to stay back, and I went back in the game again. Hey, Ocho. I understand what you're saying. Rhythm and timing is everything, brother, especially in basketball. So I can understand in football, you know, just, you know,

route running, being sharp on your plays. to understand that part, just like basketball. If you don't play, bro, you lose that rhythm and time and it throw you all. Right. Yeah. Yeah. It definitely takes time. And look, I needed to get reps, too. That's how I was on show. I wanted to look. I understand, okay, we're going to go a series,

the first game, maybe two series or the quarter of the third, the second game, and then we go into the half. We go at bare minimum, we go into the half, and normally we take the first series because, and sometimes we're like, okay, we're going to use the first series. in the third quarter, we're going to go two minutes. So we're going to go hurry up just to get that in one time. But, yeah, I needed a preseason.

Like, I don't know how they do it. I take my hat off to these guys that come out there. And I guess right now what they do it, Ocho, these are scripted practices against each other. I guess that's their preseason game. That ain't, that ain't foot. That ain't pre. No, no, it ain't the same. Not even close.

But I'm anxious to see. I'm anxious to see how I should do it. Look, I don't care what anybody said. You're going to be nervous. I don't care how long you've been playing football. Yeah. He got tremendous instincts now. Now, right now, I think he's playing the receiver position with a lot of athleticism. Right. He electric. The really good ones, yeah, the really good ones, you got to get technically sound.

You get sloppy with rows. You start rounding these rows and you start. getting lazy man they pick the a they rob you a hey you like a you like a tourist in a foreign country they'll pick your pockets you know the funny thing about it is when he was at colorado he can get away with it you know oh yeah you're going to have to be more technically savvy at the NFL level because everyone in just as fast some people will be faster to you everyone in just as quick some people may be quicker to you understanding what you got across from you what you can get away with what you can and that's going to take time so

i think right now when he does win whether it's offensively and defensively it'll be based on athleticism alone and those probably across some of them oh shoot is trabb maybe being scared sometimes i mean i'm not scared you know what i'm trying to say because i think i think coen says he's trying to get him under like 80% of the snaps on offense okay well you know he was playing damn there 100% of the snaps on offense and and 98% of the snaps of the snaps on defense. Defense, yeah. That was in college.

She didn't. And I know he. But like I'm saying, that's a lot of reps. Because, you know, let's just say, 130 plays in the NFL. Yeah. That's a lot. That's a lot.

That's a lot of plays. I mean, I think the most plays I've ever played in an actual game, I think I played like 92 snaps on offense. That's the most I played in an NFL game. That's a lot of plays. Remember how you. felt the day the day after morning after that game yeah imagine what trap going to feel like the morning after that game both sides of the ball now he 20 20 21 so he might not be now i'll check

back with him when he 25 i'll check back with him when he 26 27 right right right because you know when you're young old show me hey you play on sunday i can play again on tuesday but as a Man, and you started getting older, man, I ain't started feeling good until Friday. Man, that's talking about it, man, please. And like these guys having these Thursday games, Ocho, man, I'm glad they had. I played one, I think I played Thanksgiving, my rookie year. Right.

I was 22. I'm glad, man, now can you imagine, Ocho, you being 33, 34 years of age? And you play Sunday, and you play Sunday. and you got to turn right around again and play Thursday? Hey, hold on, no. Okay, Ojo, y'all play on a Sunday. Y'all probably practice probably, what, Monday, I mean, Tuesday?

Nah, you're going to run. You're going to run and lift in. On Monday? Yeah, Monday, yeah. You go into watch film, get your lift in. Tuesday, you got Tuesday off. Then Wednesday is back at it. Yeah.

Okay. Now, in college, you're right, Joe. You play on Saturday, you out there to pass on Monday. They're going to work you in college, boy. I don't care what nobody's saying. Oh, what? But you 18, 19. That's the harder that worked in life.

I don't, I don't, I'll be honest with Jocho. I don't remember, it's a long time ago, damn than 40 years. But I don't remember being soaring college. You remember being sore in college? I remember after the NFL games. I was never really sore, even though I played reckless. I wasn't, obviously, you know, I wasn't physical. But the only thing sore on me at the NFL games was my ankles.

You know, we're used to just getting the finished product, but we don't know much about what goes into production and studio time and all that other good stuff. How long does normally take an album? Man, everybody has their own different

way of doing things. Like for me, for me, my time, you know, it's when I got some free time. So with me, man, I can knock out three or four songs in the night. So, because I'm, I'm, and I'm doing everything by myself. I really don't have nobody in the studio. And then I got full access to studio time all the time,

so I'm not paying for it. So for me, man, it's however long I want it to be. But I can get an album done right. Like I would say, if I'm focused, like, a month's time, something like that. Hey, let me, in order to be a rapper, do you have to be a night out? Do anybody work normal business hours?

Or do everybody else? Yeah, I'm all day with it. I don't have, like, I really don't have a time. Whenever I feel it, I'm going. But a lot of them cats don't go in the studio like, Wayne, man, Wayne being, going in at 3 o'clock in the morning. I'm like, how you do that? But, you know, I guess it's them going to the clubs,

leaving out of the clubs, going straight to the studio, having that just keep that vibe that you had. Because a lot of us get our ideas while we're out and about. Hey, look, when you're in the studio, what kind of vibe you got to know? You like to be dolo? or you kind of, you know, you have some people in there just, just vibe. This is right here.

Well, I used to hang with digit design when they first started Pro Tools in Nashville and stuff like that. So I've been touching the stuff since the beginning.

So, yeah, I'm so low. You know how to work everything in there? I know how to work everything, put the studio together, wiring. I understand all of it, bro. You got to remember, I make lamps. I'm an electronic guy, so I make all kinds of, I can build all kinds of stuff. So, wires, you know, wires and stuff like that. That's my thing.
