our appreciation, appreciation guys we've
created uh an additional 20 off use code unc that's an additional 20 off if you use the code
unc the nightcap merch is pinned at the top of the chat ocho the wolves beat the mav ant-man
almost had a triple double he had 29 points 10 29 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists.
The youngest player in NBA history to have one of those numbers in an elimination game.
Cat was the difference in the ballgame.
Shot 9 of 13, 4 of 5 from the three-point line,
3 of 3 from the free-throw line.
Although he was in foul trouble the majority of the night
and he ended up fouling out of the game,
he gave them 25 big points
and I think he had like
20 or 22 in the second
half. But they stayed off elimination
fourth of game five and
now they're going back to Minnesota
trying to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Well, obviously they don't have to try anything
because I told you what was going to happen.
They purposely allowed themselves
to fall into a hole and they're going to shock the world. I told you. Now going to happen. They purposely allowed themselves to fall into a hole
and they're going to shock the world.
I told you.
Now, the difference in tonight's game
was the difference in the first two games,
first three.
This was game four or game three?
This was game four.
Okay.
The difference in the first two games
was their big two, Kyrie and Luka.
The difference in tonight's game
was goddamn Ant-Man and Cat.
Cat, game three, he was horrendous from three.
Cat tonight from three was phenomenal.
Ant-Man is going to show you why he's the face of the league.
I had a lot of people laughing at me, making jokes.
What makes you think he's the face of the league?
They are 0-3 right now.
He's going to show you.
He's going to show you. He's going to show you.
My words never go wrong.
And if I say the Wolves are going to win in seven, they're going to win in seven.
Now watch.
It's never been done before.
You're witnessing history.
I'm telling you right now, Chad, you're witnessing history.
I'm never wrong on stuff like this.
I think the difference in tonight's game, was aggressive early he didn't shoot a three
ball until late yeah and then he got the ball he got the uh started posting up he started driving
the basketball and then he saw the ball start to go in and when the ball started to go in he got
gained more and more confidence and he shot those he wasn't forced hey great swing passes if you
notice tonight they ran the offense through ant-Man. Ant-Man had nine assists.
He did a great job.
Yeah, he had six turnovers, but you put him in a position.
That's normally Mike Conley's job.
They switched the defensive assignments.
They put Jaden McDaniels on Kyrie.
They put Ant-Man on Luka.
That seemed to work.
Now, what's going to be the counter?
What is going to be Jason Kidd's counter to what he saw tonight?
But yeah, the Minnesota one,
they played better.
They got great production from their big two.
And that's what you have to have.
At some point in time,
your big two is going to have to play
the opposition's big two.
And tonight they did.
And they went on the road
and they won a ball game.
I got one small issue.
One small issue.
Ant-Man, I know you're going to see this at some point because y'all watched the show.
When he puts the ball on the floor and he's able to drive from perimeter inside when he's mid-range, he keeps hesitating.
He keeps hesitating after he's missed a shot or two.
Man, don't hesitate.
Man, keep on shooting, man.
Pull the trigger every single time.
Every single time.
There are a few times
where he beat his man off the perimeter.
He gets inside,
mid-range shot,
and instead of just taking it,
just shooting it,
he passes it back out
and trying to facilitate.
Man, shoot your shot.
And it kind of looks like,
even though I'm new to the game of basketball,
it kind of looks like he's hesitant
and is not trusting his shot in certain instances.
He got to let that thing go, man.
He did overpass the ball a couple of times.
He's 15 to 10 feet away.
Go ahead and take that shot.
Yeah.
Hey, they trust you more than anybody else.
So shoot the shot.
If you make or miss, they'll live with that
because you played well thus far.
But I like the adjustment that they made.
They put the ball in Ant-Man's hand.
They let him, like, bro, we need you to be aggressive.
We need you to also open things up
because they're going to have to come to double team.
And so now, if you're going to double team him,
now you're going to get Cat with some easy baskets.
Now you get Jaden McDaniels making some easy baskets.
And so that's what you do.
You make the offense a lot easier for everyone else when Ant-Man is aggressive
because they have to scramble to try to send two people at him
and somebody's going to be wide open.
I thought Mike Conley was aggressive early also.
He did a great job in the first half of getting going.
He got going early.
Ant-Man was extremely aggressive.
He had 14 points
in the first quarter.
And then he got
it going in the fourth quarter. Give those guys
credit, Ocho. They found a way
to win the game when no one really gave
them a chance outside of that locker room.
I'm sure some of their fans were like, hey, we're going to win
this thing. But
Dallas didn't
play well. They didn't play. They seemed like they
was lagging the whole night like
Minnesota's just going to lay down.
Nobody wants to get swept. You see how
hard Indiana played last night?
Nobody wants to get swept.
Listen, Luka scared me again, Unc, man.
Like, yes, baby.
I love you too, baby. Listen, Luka
scared me again tonight, man.
He scared me again tonight.
Obviously, the pump fake, drawing Cat in, forcing Cat to foul out.
Yep.
Then tying it.
Like, come on, man.
What we doing?
And then I just talked about Rudy saying, why was Rudy Gobert in the game?
And game three in that situation allowed Luka to hit that shot.
And I said, well, it should have been Cat.
Now it was Cat.
And the same thing happened again.
First of all
you don't want to give him a clean look at the
basket. And so Luca
knows that. So once he picks up
his dribble and he hadn't
shot the ball, he knows Rudy
is going to try to jump. So once he
pump fakes it, Rudy is up in there.
Excuse me, Cat was up in there.
And so once he pump face him, he knows I got you dead right now.
You at my mercy.
Because physics won't allow you to jump and then turn your body
so you miss it.
But I think we need to give Minnesota a lot of credit.
They did a great job on the glass.
They out-rebounded, although it's only by two.
But I thought Cat was the difference in the ballgame.
Yes, Ant-Man was extremely aggressive.
29, what did he have, 28 points?
No, he had 29 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists.
Yeah.
But Cat only played 30 minutes, and he was plus 15 and plus minus.
25 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist.
I thought he did a great job of helping
Ant tonight because they
needed him. They needed Cat. He could
not have given them a performance like he's given
them in the first three games, Ocho.
No, they would have lost.
They would have been home.
No matter how good
Ant played, and Ant
played exceptional tonight,
if Cat doesn't give you that,
you're going home.
Right.
You are pretty late tonight, lady.
Say hi.
Why you quiet? Say hi.
Say what's up, Unc? Say what's up, Unc?
Say what's up, Unc?
He said, no, I ain't got nothing to say.
Say what's up.
I ain't got nothing to say.
Also, Lively.
I thought this would be a close game.
I did think Dallas would eke it out.
But Lively's a different animal.
He's more active around the basket than Gafford.
And Gafford played well tonight.
But to be able to rotate those
big bodies, they tried to
go with Dwight Powell. Luka looked at
the bench twice, like, get him out of here.
He fumbled the ball one time.
He didn't hit the correct screen.
And so Luka looked at the
bench for the second time. They took his ass
out of the game, and he didn't see any more action.
Another thing, Ocho, Kleber
just got back he had an ac
joint sprain if he's not going to shoot the ball he's no good to him his ability he's a stretch
so if he can't make shots why is he on the court because they're not going to guard it
and he said that you know it's still it's still cumbersome it hurts to shoot the ball
well if you're not going to shoot the ball they're playing five on four
because you're not good enough in any other area you're not a good if you're not going to shoot the ball, they're playing five on four. Because you're not good enough
in any other area. You're not a good
defender. You're not a great rebounder.
You're not a great facilitator.
So you don't add anything else to the
equation other than your ability to
stretch the floor. And if you're
not going to stretch the floor by shooting the basketball,
what good are your services?
Yeah, you're just a liability
at that point. minnesota stayed off
elimination they send it back to minnesota with a 105 100 victory over the dallas mavericks uh
ant-man 29 points 10 rebounds 9 assists uh mike collie had 14 points on three or four free throws
one or four from the free throw three-point line. Cat, 25 big points, three or three from the free throw line,
four or five from the three.
They got 13 points and 10 rebounds from Rudy Gobert.
They got 10 points from Jaden McDaniels.
Nakia Alexander had six points.
Naz Reed had six.
And Kyle Anderson had two.
And never forget, never forget, like I said,
Chad, stay with me now.
Wolves in seven.
We are witnessing history, and it will be made.
I don't know about that, Alpojo.
All right.
I don't know it's time for our first segment of the night,
and it's called a News Cap.
News Cap.
Go, baby. Go, baby.
The Celtics sweep the Pacers en route
to the final. The Celtics are where they're supposed
to be. They were 14 games above
and 6.7 better than
any other team in the Eastern Conference.
And, you know, when you got
JT, first team All-NBA,
Jalen Brown, who was the lag bird recipient
which means he was the eastern conference finals mvp now they're heading to the finals having lost
two games through the first three rounds the any the fewest of any finalists in the last seven
years uh as we mentioned jaylen brown averaged 29 points a game on 52 shooting five rebounds
three assists he made the biggest shot of the series when he had a game tying three in game one.
Who knows how the series would have changed, how it would have turned out.
Phil, they definitely would have been playing a game five at the bare minimum.
But he's the finals, the Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
The last couple of games, JT really picked up his scoring, but it was Derek White again
making a big three in the corner
that puts him up by three.
And the thing is, Ocho,
if you watched this game last night,
the Pacers are in position,
but the inning experience
shows his head again.
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.
Turnovers.
You got it.
And on top of those turnovers, the Celtics got points offovers, turnovers. Turnovers. You got it.
And on top of those turnovers,
the Celtics got points off of those turnovers as well.
I think the funny thing,
but the Pacers fought.
Yeah.
The Pacers fought very, very, very, very,
very well
and trying to do all they can
to make sure it wasn't a sweep.
But obviously without Halliburton,
it was already a tall task if he was playing.
But without him playing, it was almost impossible.
But they did play well.
I don't want to get his name the wrong way.
Nimhard.
Nimhard.
Oh, hey, boy.
Young Bull.
Yeah, he stepped up.
Young Bull left it all on the court last night. Bull left it all on the court last night.
He left it all on the court last night.
He played well.
He played really well.
They got a player.
They got a player.
Now, we've seen him take big shots, that big shot that he hit against the Knicks.
What was that, game three?
Hit a big shot a couple years ago.
I think he hit a big shot against the Lakers that beat them,
and the game was tied.
They were up one. The Lakers were up one, and he ends up hitting that beat them at the game was tied and uh they were up one lakers were
up one and he ends up hitting a three and winning the game so he's not afraid to take and make big
shots but i was very i was very excited to see how well he played he's a young player yeah he
had some unfortunate turnovers and some crucial situations but he'll learn from that and he'll be a better player for it. But I like
the way
he played in this team.
They got to make it
something special. They can be good.
Everybody's
free agency is about to hit in the next
month or so. And the next thing,
we can lure
somebody in free agency. I'm sure the Sixers are we can make, we can lure somebody in free agency.
I'm sure the Sixers are saying, hey, we
can lure somebody in free agency.
Miami's definitely, Pat Riley's always
looking to lure someone to Miami
to pair with Jimmy Butler and Bam.
And so it's going to be very, very
interesting to see
how this thing shakes out.
But congratulations to the Indiana Pacers.
They did, they put up a valiant effort,
but the Celtics were just too good down the stretch
in the clutch situations.
And that's what I wanted to see
because far too many times in the regular season,
we've seen them lose games like they won games one, three, and four.
So give those guys credit.
They're moving on to the 23rd NBA Finals,
tried to break the tie.
They have both the Lakers and the Celtics have 17 championships apiece.
Now it's the quest for 18.
And this is the year for Jason Tatum, huh?
He got to do it this year, huh?
So is the championship a bust?
It's always.
No.
It's always.
That's the Celtics.
I mean, certain teams, you know, that's LeBron, that's Steph, that's KD.
Championship or bust.
I mean, what are you playing for?
I mean, you got all the accolades.
You've won MVPs.
You've won finals.
You've won scoring titles.
You've been All-NBA.
You've been the All-Star game.
So what are you playing for now?
Right.
That's it.
Jason Tatum.
You a three-time first-team All-NBA selection. You've been an
All-Star. You're going to the
Olympics.
What are you playing for now if it's not championships?
So yes, absolutely. It's championship
or bust.
Yeah. Go. Go.
Mommy wants you.
Gordon Hayward's wife had a lot to
say on IG today. Robin
Hayward said,
why trade for someone and not play them?
Missed it by not integrating him.
Since I have time today,
before the trade, Gordon told Sam
he didn't think the trade made sense.
So how can he miss when a player told you?
Again, hi Brody.
Not sure if you know this,
but you need a ball in order to shoot.
Hey.
I like that.
I like that.
The wife coming
to the defense of the player. And obviously,
you do need the ball to shoot.
I know Gordon Hayward
a little bit. Not personally, obviously.
The few games that I have watched before
I started doing nightcap
and i've seen him play if i'm not mistaken he's a he's a good perimeter shooter he's good from three
if i'm not mistaken i've seen him when he's with the hornets right yeah the hornets at one point
if i'm not yeah yeah you know decent player so i'm not sure how it's come to this point where
he's not efficient or effective and if he was traded on the team they traded for him for a
reason so why wasn't he using the right way? The man said, I made a mistake.

In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood,

In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
No.
It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask Attorney General.
I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn.
In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra,
you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago,
but which few of us still remember today.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane,
I can't begin to tell you.
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
You ever made a mistake? You ever bought something and say to say man i shouldn't have bought that yeah but that's not nice to say especially at the gm position listen listen to me a position of power
and there are certain things that you're supposed to keep you said you want you don't see when when
when i say that about player you get upset with me.
When coaches say certain things about players, you get upset.
Why you getting upset if they telling the truth?
You say telling the truth sets you free.
Yeah, I mean, telling the truth will set you free.
But is it right for a person in his position to say something like that about a player?
Because, you know, other players see stuff like that and be like, you know what?
Hell no, I don't want to go play for him.
That's how they feel about you. He about you say he was a bad player he said based on what i he said listen what happened he said we were a different team than when we got him because guys
started to play better if guys starting to play better what am i gonna do so i'm gonna take him
out or i'm gonna take jaylen williams out or i'm gonna to take him out or I'm going to take Jalen Williams out or I'm going to take Chad out or I'm going to take Lou Dort out.
Let's be real.
Gordon Haywood hadn't been the same since he broke that leg in Boston.
Let's be all the way real.
Yeah.
He had great,
he had great seasons in Utah.
Yes.
But bro,
man,
it's been a long time since Utah.
We got to stop this.
No.
Sam Preston said,
look,
we made a mistake.
I missed on that one.
He can't be perfect.
I mean, he traded for Shea.
He drafted Jalen Williams.
He drafted Chet.
I mean, every other thing that he's done.
He got what he could out of the Russ trade.
He brought Chris Paul in, traded him, got some more compensation.
I think he's done a great job.
All he's saying, he's not saying Gordon
Hayward is a bad player.
He said, I missed because
coming here, we got
better and there was no room for him
to play. I don't
like that. There's always room. There's
always a room for a player of his caliber
He's not that player anymore, Ocho.
How do we
know he's not that player if he hasn't been afforded the opportunity to show you?
Why Charlotte trade him then if he's that player?
Why Charlotte trade him if he's that player?
Why Boston trade him if he's that player?
Well, Charlotte was dumping.
Charlotte was dumping at that time and rebuilding, if I'm not mistaken, right?
Rebuilding what?
The house is already down.
My point exactly.
Think about it. Remember, think about it.
Remember he was, wasn't he?
Hold on.
Wasn't he there with Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum and Big Al?
Yeah.
How'd that work out for him?
So why is he not in Boston?
You are sure.
You know, listen, the game of basketball is different.
And it's all about what have you done for me lately?
Unless you're a super, super duper star,
then you really ain't going nowhere
unless you force your hand and you want out.
It's like D. Rose.
D. Rose wasn't the same player after he tore his knee.
Gordon Hayward was not the same player
after he broke his leg.
He just wasn't.
He wasn't.
Nobody in the chat,
even the staunchest Gordon Hayward fan will tell you
he's not the same player not even close he's a shell of himself and could he have been the
seventh guy but that's not what he's making it seem like he should have been the sixth man or
in the starting rotation bro that. That's not you anymore.
That's tough.
How is it tough?
That's tough because I'm sitting here thinking about the players.
I'm not saying he's Adrian Peterson, but
Adrian Peterson tore his ACL and came back
and was still that boy.
I'm thinking about all the other players
that have been injured before. Kevin Durant,
Kevin Durant tore Kevin Durant,
Torres Achilles came back and was still at board.
PG came back.
Tell me,
tell me,
tell me,
Mr.
Gordon broke his leg and came back and all of a sudden he's not the same.
Wasn't even close.
Let me ask you a question.
When Derrick Rose tore his knee,
was he ever that same player?
I'm not listening.
Derrick Rose was special. I'm just asking you, was he ever that same player? I'm not. Listen, Derrick Rose was special.
I'm just asking, was he the same player?
We know he was special.
He's the youngest MVP in NBA history.
So we know he's special.
Was he the same?
It took away some of his skill and ability.
And the explosion that he did had, yes.
Yes.
So what about Gordon Hayward?
So what did Gordon Hayward average in Utah?
He was like a 20-point scorer. He made the
all-star team.
Me personally, I thought he was overvalued
from the jump. That's just me personally
watching the game,
watching him play. I thought he was overvalued.
Okay, the Celtics thought it would be a
great acquisition. Okay, fine. I ain't got no
problem with that. But
his last couple
years in Utah.
What did you average?
He was like a 20 and 26 guy.
22.
Yeah, 22, 5,
22, 5, and 3. Okay, in Boston.
What was his best year in Boston?
Yeah, he made all-star team his last year in Boston? Yeah, he made the All-Star team
his last year in Utah. That's how he got
that max contract.
He probably should have stayed there. But okay, he wanted
to win. He didn't think he could win in Utah. I got no
problem with that. I commend the guy
for giving up that fifth year and
going to Boston because he thought they had a better chance
of winning. He broke his leg like the first
game of the season.
Ah.
Next season, average 17.
He averaged 11, then 17.
Went to Charlotte.
Average 20.
See?
See?
See?
See? 15. average 20 see see okay what do you see you see see 15 okay after that 20 season in charlotte 15 nine
ah hello are we understanding why those numbers are decreasing because the playing time is
decreasing as well i don't think i'm personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with Gordon Hayward.
I just think he's not getting the playing time
that's needed to score the 20, to score the 19.
That's all.
And I know I'm right.
I know I'm right.
Because you just don't fall off a goddamn cliff
simply because you broke your goddamn leg.
Yeah, sometimes you're not the same player.
I mean, it's
not like he had great athleticism
to begin with.
Yeah, I'm
assuming he's a perimeter shooter. Mid-range
is good. I'm assuming he's nice from three.
Let's just say
you're only a step better, and
you lose that step. Then what happens, Ocho?
Then if you have
that weakness, which your team can
do, they can run plays for you
to free you up.
That's what they do in the NBA.
That's what they do in the NFL. When a certain player
has weaknesses and he can't win on his
own, you scheme him open.
And then when the season's over, what do they do
with that player? They move on.
You know how, when a player gets old
and he's not giving you that same production
they ask you to take a pay cut first right
hey bro hey
yeah you know we know you used to give us
$1300 $1400
can you give us $1250
for a third of the salary
nah man
I can't put,
okay, well, then we're going to have to release you.
Yeah.
Me personally, look, like I said,
I watch Gordon Hayward.
I know his game.
He was an outstanding player.
I didn't have him as a top 20 player,
but he was a solid player.
22, five, and three.
Yeah.
Says that he's a solid player.
Getting those numbers in the NBA, good. But he goes a solid player. 22, 5, and 3. Says that he's a solid player. Getting those numbers in the NBA, good.
But he goes to Boston.
I'm not so sure that was the best fit when you got JT and JB.
To play three.
I mean, that's a nice three-hitter.
For someone that's scoring 22 a game.
But they all play basically the same guy.
All of them are small forwards.
So, if he was a big,
and now you got JB and JT,
you can slide either one.
You can make those,
they don't change,
but you can play them at the three,
the four,
you can slide one to the two.
But they're really the same.
Well, God damn it.
Tell, tell,
tell God damn it,
say, hey, well, come on down,
come on down to Miami.
We'll take him.
We'll take him.
We're supposed to know what to do with you.
Come on down here, Gordon Hayward.
I know you're going to see this.
Come on down to Miami.
We know what to do with you, boy.
You hear me?
Shit.
We know how to use our players.
Well, you know, Pat could have traded for him.
When?
At the trade deadline.
When he left Boston?
Like OKC traded for it.
I mean, it depends on what we had at the time. He might not have been on our radar
at the time, but now that this is coming out and the wife
has to defend him because of
an individual
that comes out publicly and says he's
made a mistake, you know?
You don't do that. Yeah, I'm surprised.
I'm surprised Sam Presti
said that, Ocho. I'm not going to disagree
with you because that doesn't sound like
him but
I'm sure
probably in the exit interview
probably what you heard is that
Gordon Hayward probably said some of the same things
that he wasn't excited
about his time he felt he should have
got more minutes
and you know i'm you know what happened if he got more minutes he would have scored more
goddamn points especially when you had the green light to shoot sometime you go to certain places
it's you don't feel comfortable you're walking on eggshells and that's why not only the decrease in minutes but the decrease in points from from utah to boston that is a reason why they went down okc shit
charlotte i just don't i just don't see anyone that was scoring 22 6 and 5 just falling completely
off the cliff but he's not that player that would warrant 35, 40 minutes.
Okay.
You see what I'm saying?
In order to score,
in order to score
the amount of points that he's playing,
he's probably playing 38 minutes
where he's no longer that guy.
So he can't give you that kind of production.
So if you're not playing those kind of minutes,
how can I give you to say, O minutes, how can I give you the same? Ocho, how can I
give you the same production if you
don't give me the same number of targets?
If you cut my targets in half,
you're going to cut my production in half.
Yeah.
Running back gets 300 carries, he rushes for
1,500 yards. You give him 150,
you still think he's going to get 1,500?
It's not going to happen.
Oh, you catch him for 1,400 yards,
but I'm giving you 150 targets a season.
Well, Ocho, I'm only going to give you 100 targets.
You ain't going for that number.
Because now 100 targets, that means you got to catch every ball
and average 14, 15 yards a catch just to get to 14, 15 hundred yards
which you would know. Right.
You're going to be top three
if you average 15 yards a catch on
that many catches.
Right. So that's why I just
like I said, I'm surprised. I am surprised
that Sam Preston like
I made a mistake.
Yeah, it's stuff like that you keep in house.
A lot of time.
Other GMs have made mistakes as well, whether it be MLB, whether it be NBA, whether it be NFL.
They don't come out and publicly say, you know what, I made a mistake.
How do you think it makes that individual feel that you made that mistake on?
How do you think other players feel about coming to an organization where you feel, well, damn, if you can do that to Gordon Hayward, what the hell do you think about me?
They got a young team.
They didn't want to mess up their chemistry.
They had a great rotation going.
If you look at those guys, that's still the youngest roster in the NBA.
They made it to the second round.
Their core players, Shea, Jalen Williams, Chet, Lou Dort, Isaiah Joe.
They got some nice pieces.
Josh Giddey.
They got some nice pieces.
They need another big.
They need another big and maybe another front-line player.
Man, hey, Paul George, you interested in coming back?
Put Paul George with Shea.
Or go get a big, go get a Andre Drummond
that can take some minutes
off chat, that can battle with a
Jokic, that can battle with
some of the bigs down low.
Yeah, for sure.
I like it.
But
Mrs. Hayward was not happy
with what Sam Presti said, and she
voiced her opinion.
Rightfully so. She should
cuss his ass out. Send a letter.
Matter of fact, write
goddamn, not David Stern,
what's the young boy's name that's the commissioner?
Oh, you talking about Adam Silver?
Yeah, write Adam Silver shit.
Just
voicing your displeasure
with the comments by a general
manager somebody at a position
of power that's
at a seat that high shouldn't be making that
kind of comment shit
god damn it
yeah
is he a free agent
he's gonna be he's a free agent?
he's a free agent yeah come on down to Miami
Mr. Hayward
come on down to Miami we know what to do with you
we're going to see how many takers he gets
he's a free agent
oh he's going to get some
listen it might not have worked
at OKC.
Sometimes,
process of elimination.
Relationship after relationship
after relationship
after relationship
until you find the one that fit.
And that's all it is.
That's all it is.
Until you find the one that fit.
And right here in Miami,
Gordon Haywood
is a great place for you.
Okay? Now, if you need help findingwood is a great place for you. Okay?
Now, if you need help finding a place,
I can help you.
I got my real estate license.
How much you think Gordon Haywood
has made in his career?
Let me see.
If you said he was a Mac player,
I'm not sure when he signed that Mac contract,
but just off the top of my head,
how many years has he been in the league?
I mean, 10.
No, he's been in the league longer than that, like 12.
12?
14 years.
Oh, yeah, he's been in the league 14 years.
But, you know, he played the first game,
and then he missed the entire season.
Okay, I can tell you right now, he's probably earned,
you tell me if I'm wrong or right,
he's probably earned $227 million at this point.
Tell me if I'm wrong or right.
You need to go higher.
Oh, shit.
Wait.
283?
A little lower.
270.
Okay, around 270.
Okay, okay, okay.
270.
God.
Dang.
Hey, man, I got to...
I need to...
It's too late, Ocho.
You should have thought about it.
You should have thought about it.
All the things, like the baseball players,
you see the money they making?
500 million, 700 million.
It's too late, Ocho.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
It ain't never too late.
It ain't never too late.
While I'm still, listen,
while I'm still willing and able
and my upper and lower body extremities
are still working, there's always a chance.
There's always a chance. I can dream.
I can be like the little engine that could.
I just got to keep on pushing.
Oh, Joe. We should have thought
about that, but you know, playing baseball,
bat costs money. Glove costs money.
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Yeah. Traveling.
Yeah.
Traveling baseball team. Oh, yeah. yeah. Traveling. What's that? Traveling baseball team?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah, you.
Oh, yeah, that costs money.
Mm-mm.
Ain't how that.
Nah.
And plus, that gratification, man.
Ain't nobody.
Them honeys ain't coming out there
sitting in no hot sun.
They gonna be at the football game
or the basketball game.
Get the dubs on them.
Oh, it's your Isaiah Thomas,
little Isaiah Thomas, has an AK pulled on him. Oh, it's your Isaiah Thomas, little Isaiah Thomas,
has an AK pulled on him in his
own city. Really tripping how these young
kids are moving around.
I really had a
life-changing moment yesterday where
a kid pulled an AK-47 out on
me and the homies. And if it wasn't
for who I was and him recognizing
me in my own city, he probably
would have ended all our lives. Be safe.
They differ that there.
Hey, listen.
We talking about it?
We talking about it or the old Isaac Thomas?
I ain't talking about Z. I'm talking about
Boston Celtics.
Isaac, yeah.
You got to be careful, man.
You got to be careful even if it's your
hometown. You got to understand where you are. You got to be careful, even if it's your hometown.
You got to understand where you are.
The younger generation, there is no respect.
There is no respect, regardless of who you are, what you've done, especially in the past.
They don't see that.
They don't see that, man. Now, the older cats would probably know who you are and have a little bit more respect for you and what you've done in your community,
in the NBA,
knowing that that's where you're from,
you know, they show you a little bit more grace.
You know, them younger cats,
you know, and you think about,
oh, somebody pulled an AKA,
you already know that ain't nobody,
somebody young that has no idea.
AK-47, not an AKA.
And AKA, oh, my bad.
Did you say chop? AK-47.
Yeah, chop, chop, yeah, chop. I don't really move like that, so I don't really know the abbreviations. my bad. AK-47. Yeah, chop, chop.
I don't really move like that,
so I don't really know the abbreviations.
My bad.
In his hometown of Tacoma, Washington.
Yeah, sad.
Them young boys, they different.
They move different.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Listen, today, everything is wild today.
Everything is wild today.
You know, during our day,
our day, there was structure.
There was structure.
There are certain things you couldn't do
unless you got an okay or a green light.
That's if you run in the streets like that.
I'm not saying I'm part of the streets,
but I had a great understanding of how it worked
because it's where I grew up.
Today?
There ain't no goddamn order.
There ain't no order.
Everybody just,
they run around like the wild, wild west.
Oh, quick.
It don't matter who you are.
They make you get up.
So,
yeah, man, it's different.
It's a different time now.
So,
stay.
And wait, hold on.
You said he was in his hometown, right?
Yeah, Tacoma, Washington.
And that's crazy, man.
That's crazy. And the O the OTA the NFL Players Association is
working to finalize a proposal to overhaul
the offseason starting as soon as
2025 eliminating
voluntary on field workout in
the spring and in favor of longer training
camp ramp up with players reporting in mid
June early July basically
the idea would be rolling extended OTA style ramp up strength and reporting in mid-June, early July. Basically, the ideal would be rolling extended OTA
style ramp up.
Strength and conditioning, non-padded
work, etc. Straight into training
camp without six weeks of break and
de-escalation between. A major
change. Do you like this, Ocho?
Absolutely not.
Don't change it up.
Don't change it up. Because
you got to understand what you're doing is also
you're taking money out of people's pocket.
Sometimes the players in their contracts,
they have incentives
to come to these voluntary workouts,
you know,
and why would you want to extend training camp?
Because what they're saying,
I thought we were,
I thought we were about protecting the players.
We've long decided that it was about the money.
So we've been deciding what it was about the money. So we've been
deciding what it was about. But you can see
where this thing is headed. So what
we're going to do is that we're going to have this long
rollout, one preseason
game, and we're going to hit the game running.
We're going to hit the field. We're going to hit the
ground, the field running.
So that's what you're building up
to. And maybe you still put that in your contract,
Ocho.
Maybe you still put that in your contract, Ocho. Maybe you still put that in your
contract. Okay, take the money
from the program and add it to the
end season? I mean, I never put that
in my contract
because I wasn't going to come. So unless
you give me a half a million dollars, I
wasn't willing to, for
$50,000, I wasn't willing to stay in
Denver. I want to do my own workout
because I knew I was going to push myself
harder than what I was going to work out there.
And I was the only one that Mike,
that wasn't required to be in OTA,
in off-season conditioning.
I was the only one in Mike Shanahan's career.
I don't like it though.
I don't like it though.
I don't like taking away the preseason games
for those that sign as free agents, for those that come out of college, they get an opportunity to make the team.
I don't like it for those that are third, fourth, fifth and sixth round draft picks because they need that film. film of those three or four preseason games that they do play in to get a chance, not only to make that
squad, but to put themselves
on tape as a resume
for other teams that might need a body
at that position. I
don't like it. I don't like it
because it takes away from them and their
opportunity to get a chance to play in the NFL.
Man, you know how I feel.
I mean, I made it because we had five games.
That's the only... If we'd have had three, I wouldn't have made it. If we'd have had four, the conventional, feel i mean i made it because we had five games that's the only if we
had three i wouldn't have made it we'd have had four the conventional i wouldn't have made it it
was the very last game in which i made it so you already know how i feel i was talking to
commissioner he's like what do you think about the new rules i'm like commissioner i'll be honest
with you i ain't crazy about it i understand why you guys are implementing because the kickoff the concussion rate goes up
exponentially you're talking about probably extra 20 30 40 because the collisions are so great you
get 20 miles an hour running this way 20 miles an hour running that way and when they collide
something bad gonna happen eventually every time especially if you you know you do that x amount
of time you score on a field goal you're scoring you know a punt return or something like that eventually. Every time. Especially if you do that X amount of times.
You score on a field goal,
you score on a punt return or something like that.
There are a lot of kicks.
Even punts.
But I get it.
I say for me, probably wouldn't have made it.
Probably would have had to wait another year,
probably spent some time on the practice squad
for somebody to give me an opportunity.
Hopefully I showed enough for the Broncos,
but I just made it because of special teams.
Made it because of kickoff.
Yeah.
I was a wide receiver
and I would go down there
and light somebody's ass up
but I didn't care.
I threw cards into the way.
I'm making this team.
But think about that.
You had five games to do it
and you were able to make it
because of special teams.
Now imagine them eliminating
the offseason program
and then having training camp
and then how do these individuals make the team now?
With nothing to put on film.
One preseason game, that's not enough.
That's not nearly enough opportunities for an individual to say, like, oh, my goodness, look who this is standing out on film.
Where you can make yourself where you become more than just a number.
You need those games, man.
You need the time to put your resume together.
And those two, three games during the preseason,
it does wonders for players.
And Ochoa was still in school.
So a lot of guys, a lot of guys were out of school.
And so they were in the off-season program.
Man, I'm trying to get my degree, man.
I wasn't dropping out of school, hell no.
I'm too close now.
So I didn't end up getting there until June, no. I'm too close now. Right, right.
So I didn't end up getting there until June.
And so the OTAs were ending like the second week of June.
So I really only got two weeks of OTAs before I had to leave and go do my own thing and then come back.
But back then, and they still do it now sometimes, Ocho.
We came in, the rookies and the first-year players, had to come in like three days before the vets got there.
And so we padded up, we hitting even before the actual training camp in which the vets arrived.
Oh, yeah.

In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche
into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there are so many stories out there,
and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front-row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide,

Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal
that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
No.
It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
I'm going to ask...
I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn.
In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra,
you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal
that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago,
but which few of us still remember today.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane,
I can't begin to tell you.
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra

I don't know how they do it now, but I do
see sometimes rookies report
on this day and the events report
on a later day, but we're putting pads on.
We're doing 9-on-7. We're doing everything that
we're going to do in training. Oh, yes.
Oh, yes. Oh, yeah.
Pads. Pads.
Pads. Nine on
seven. One on one.
Listen, the most we put on
was shells. Remember the little shells? The little shells
we had? Man, ain't nobody had them
things back then. See,
back then. They had the shells?
You have spider pads. You know the spider pads that you put on up under your shoulder pads? See, back then... They had a shell? You have spider pads. You know
the spider pads that you put on up under
your shoulder pads? Oh, yeah.
The shock.
But we didn't have shells
like you. Ocho,
we had pads on Wednesday,
Thursday, and we had pads on
Friday with shorts. There wasn't no
shell. What the hell are you talking about?
Oh, no.
Come on, now.
I'm telling you.
Hey, listen.
They ran y'all on the ground, man.
When I tell people, people don't understand.
Bro, 9-0-7 was really putting people down.
7-0-7.
7-0-7 was a third up.
You ain't just catching no balls.
Oh, let him catch it.
Right, right, right, right.
Oh, man, please.
It was a different time back then.
Now, probably like the 49ers were the only team that the West Coast system,
and you see how they do a lot of teams doing now,
they were the only one doing that.
And then as that tree started splintering, you got Mike Holmgren leaving.
You got Steve Murray.
You got other guys leaving. They brought and implemented that system. You got Mike Holmgren leaving. You got Steve Murray. You got other guys leaving.
They brought and implemented that system.
You got Andy.
Yeah.
Okay.
Mike Holmgren took a lot of those guys with him to Green Bay.
He took Andy Reed.
He took John Gruden, who took Steve Mariucci.
And so as those guys started getting head coaching jobs,
they started implementing that West Coast system where you're
only hitting about 10 times
a week, and that's normally on Thursday.
Everything else is in shells
because you're practicing
speed, not so much hitting.
But oh, no, back in 90 to 92?
You kidding me?
Boy, they got
butter from a duck back then.
Yes, sir. Yes, indeed. Oh, boy they bringing hey they got butter from a duck back then yes sir yes indeed
oh y'all y'all better than me because i i had a few times like i had a few times and i obviously
i can say it now some of the times when we would when we would have to have on pads on a wednesday
practice i'd be out there in my shells. Because nobody was going to
hit me anyway.
Listen,
I wore a size small shoulder pads anyway.
I wore very small shoulder pads
just so I could be light. But I put my
shells on.
In New England?
Belichick,
you had to have thigh pads, knee pads.
You know how in the locker room, the equipment room is and they have the
diagram
the dress
that's how you got to go to practice
everybody
everybody
everybody
knee pads
shoulder pads everything
the way we practice Mike said the way you play Everybody. Thigh pads, knee pads, shoulder pads, everything.
He didn't play. Mike, the way we practice, Mike said, the way you play the game,
that's how I want you to come to practice.
Well, me, Ed, a lot of us, the DBs, they have no thigh pads,
no knee pads, no hip pads.
So Mike said, that's the way you go in the game?
Now, Dan Reeves like, okay, you ain't got to wear
no thigh pads, but if you get a thigh bruise,
it's going to cost you about $5,000.
Ooh!
Oh, Joe. Hey, let me get that.
You can put them in quick.
But see, you got,
your teammates got to be on your side, though.
Your teammates got to be on your side and protecting you
and saying, listen, we got pads on,
but if we're going to do anything, let's start it up.
Let's start it up.
Make sure you're in position to make the tackle as if it was a game
simulated, but don't hit me for real.
Don't hit me for real.
But you, man, you know them thigh bruise.
They freak, Ocho.
Sometimes you just, you know, and y'all run together,
and his knee or cleat hits you.
It hits you.
Hold on.
Have you ever, have you got a thigh bruise and it hard enough and stiffen up?
And then they got to use that.
Remember that?
Is it called a grass?
How do you call it?
I know you're talking about that.
Oh my God.
And it got a scrape.
Get it loose.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I know what it's like.
Hey, but that pain.
That shit hurt.
Man. Hey, that was, it's like. Hey, boy, that pain? That shit hurt. Man, hey.
It was different.
I'm glad they changed it because bad.
But just think, Ocho, that's how like in the 60s and the 70s,
everybody was practicing like that.
All the practices was Wednesday, Thursday, putting you on the ground.
Friday, you had on shoulder pads and helmets
there was no shells
we had on shoulder pads
for the entire practice
well somebody should have
said something back then
whoever the leader
whoever the leader
of the Broncos was back then
matter of fact
his name is John Elway
Elway should have said something
man listen
we want we want to be fresh on sunday quarterbacks normally wore their pads because they need to get
used to throwing their pads for the most part oh yeah john always wore his pants even but uh even
at least at least for like a part of practice and then he would take the pads off
oh they tell me take show the off. You had to tell me.
You had to tell me, but what?
I'm gone.
Those were the
days, Ocho. It was a different
mentality play back then. That's what I'm saying.
That's why you see these guys running across
the middle and one-handed things
and taking selfies.
You didn't do that back then. Bam, Mike Singletary. Oh, those guys. Oh, go across the middle. one handed and taking selfies. You didn't do that back then.
Bam Mike Singletary.
Oh, those guys. Oh, go across.
You ain't go across there but once.
Bet you wouldn't come back.
And you don't think about it twice if you do
got to go. What?
Boy.
Next thing you know, you'll be looking through that.
You're looking through your ear hole.
Somebody that killed it
buffalo bills ate more than 31 million dollars to trade star wide receiver stefan digs this
offseason a record for a non-quarterback so why didn't the team wait until june 1st to deal days
which have spread the financial impact between the seasons general manager brandon bean explained
that buffalo prepared to get that albatross of dig's contract off the books rather sooner than later we decided to just go ahead and eat it out
now we think that we can compete and do what we need to do by eating it now because if we didn't
we would have tried to come up with ways to split it up too many different ways it's just like that
albatross hanging around our necks what's 25 look like what's 26 look like hey listen that's one thing about business they always looking ahead they're always looking ahead
so obviously they want to get get themselves out of that contract but that's fine that's fine with
the with now gabe davis going stefan dig going we have a a media darling in Keon Coleman that's there. But now, can Josh Allen do what
Patrick Mahone did once they got rid of Tyreek and Tyreek came down to the Dolphins? We're going
to see how great and how good Josh Allen is. But the fact that he does have Keon Coleman,
I'm not sure the second receiver will be there. I know Keon Coleman is probably going to be the
number one. We're going to see how good you are.
Because now you have to make up for the production that's not there on the outside because we don't know what Keon Coleman's going to be.
He's probably going to be good.
But now you have to make all the right decisions.
You have to make all the right throws because you're not going to have that 14,
1,500-yard receiver that you can rely on 24-7 come hell or high water when it matters most.
Now, I know he's had some drops, you know,
in the playoffs or whatnot, but again,
still, he is a very, very, very
good, to me, top five
receiver in this NFL. I think the thing
was going to, a lot of people
saying, well, Josh Allen didn't take
that step until he got Stephon Diggs.
Oh,
did you see the numbers
the numbers don't lie
once digs got there oh boy
hey listen they would
got them like mark anthony and j-lo
they was like tina marie and rick james
very short lived that's what you're going with
hey but listen while they was living it was good
while they was living it was good yes it While they were living, it was good.
Yes, it was.
Yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see how this thing pans out.
We've seen what Patrick Mahomes did without Tyreek,
who we believe is the most dangerous one of the top two.
He's not going past two.
No matter who your receivers are, Tyreek Hill's not going out of the top two for me.
With that speed
with his big play ability his ability
to run any route is he the
best route runner no but he has
the most speed of anybody that's running route
so give me him yeah because he's the
only guy that you throw him a
five-yard route and he can hit his head on the
goalpost every
time you can take a five-yard right turn into an
eight-yard spectacular.
The only person in the NFL when you have to take an angle,
you run toward the end zone
to cut the angle off.
Yeah. If we both at the 50,
I'm trying to intercept him at the 10.
I'm trying.
He running like this here. I'm running
like that.
If he stop and cut back, he got me.
But if he can't.
Oh, yeah, he got you.
Hey, that's.
Yeah, it's.
I like it, though.
Listen, I love I love Josh, man.
The few times I've had the opportunity to meet him.
I just I just like I like what he had with Diggs.
I like what he had with Gabe Davis.
The fact that they weren't able to get over the hump, it's unfortunate, but obviously you're paying Josh
Allen the type of money he is making. Sometimes some of the pieces around you are going to change
and it's up to you to be top three quarterback that we think you are or you're paid such as
you got to show up whether you got
rookies around you or not you have to make all the right decisions make all the right throws
and do do what patrick mahomes has done consistently you know the thing is is that
like buffalo they go all in they don't win it and they got to break it down.
You see they lose Poirier. They lose White,
the corner. They lose other
pieces. And you see
my homeboy is like, you know what?
Hey, I'm going to take a little
less. Not too much.
I mean, he's
probably taking
probably $10 to $15 million
per year less. But he's like, you know, he's probably making $10 to $15 million per year less.
But he's probably making $20 million off the field.
How much did he just get a check for?
Did he just get a check the other day for like $30 million?
Because I think they took a roster bonus.
I meant to send that to you, Ash.
I think he just got a check.
Because his 2025 salary is already guaranteed because he's on the roster.
So they guarantee...
What?
His 25...
So how much did he get that check
they just sent him for like a month ago?
But him being on the roster
in 2024
guarantees his 2025 salary.
Right.
So, and so,
to keep that,
so it ain't like,
hey, Brad,
check this out,
then what we gonna do?
We gonna come give you that
in the signing bonus.
Okay.
I'll take my 40 billion.
Y'all go ahead
and give me 39 of it right now.
Make it a little easier.
No problem.
But
it's on Josh now.
It's on Josh. It's very unfortunate
because they finally had,
they're like, we want Patrick Mahomes
in our building in the playoffs.
The last two times, we had to
go there, and it didn't end up well for us.
Even Baltimore, we want them in our building.
They stay.
He a different cat now.
He a different cat.
He a different cat come playoff time.
What you did to him in the regular season ain't going to have no bearing
on where this is going to happen in postseason.
Yeah.
And so it's – if you find it, let me know, Ash.
Confidence isn't an issue for Steelers cornerback
Joey Porter Jr.
He entered the starting line of week seven
and never lost his spot.
Porter says, I'm always going to pick me over anybody else.
When asked who's the best cornerback in the league,
there are a lot of good DBs in this league.
Nobody was doing what I was doing against wide receiver ones
this entire year, locking them down.
I don't care if I mention in there or not
because they're going
to hear my name eventually.
In 17 games,
11 start,
the 2023 second round pick
had 43 tackles,
one point loss,
one interception,
10 passes defense.
He finished fifth
in defensive rookie of the year.
Salt's Gardner,
Pat Sertain,
Jael Alexander,
Denzel Ward.
I like it.
If you're going to talk,
listen, if you're going to talk
you got to walk it.
Ask your pops,
Joey Porter,
ask your pops how we used to go at it.
Oh yeah, for sure.
One of the greatest
trash talkers of all time
and Joey Porter,
much respect to him.
But I like this.
Yeah, for sure.
You both have confidence in yourself.
Put the league,
listen,
put the league on notice.
This is what you got to do.
Come out,
create you some
bulletin board material. Now what you got to do, even though you're a stealer, I love league on notice. This is what you got to do. Come out, create you some bulletin board material.
Now what you got to do, even though you're a stealer, I love you to death,
you got to follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest that have come through there.
Now, if you're going to talk like that, now you got to come and show up.
Like somebody that I know that also, hey, Joy, I mean, Joy Porter Jr.
We're at 24, don't we?
I think so.
Yeah.
Oh, there's a great
24 that gave me hell
for a decade straight
and Ike Taylor.
A great one.
So again,
if you're going to talk,
baby, all you got to do
is walk it.
All you got to do
is walk it.
I like it.
And you got to have
that confidence.
You have to.
Most of the time,
most of the people
don't say it. Most of the people don't let it be known publicly because once you let it be known publicly, now you have a target on your back.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Now they're going to come at you. Now they're going to throw at you.
Well, they're going to do that anyway.
I love what you're doing.
Yeah, they're going to do that anyway. But even more so now that you're coming out saying you feeling like you wanted the best
at what you do,
you just got to go do it, man.
You wearing that number 24 anyway.
If you're anything,
if you're going to be anything
like Ike Taylor,
boy, you on the right path.
And that's what all due respect.
Oh, so what they did, Ocho,
is that the 2024, March 24th,
they restructured. They gave him
$27 million in salary. It was converted
into a signing bonus, and his base
salary is only $8.6 million.
So they could have... Yeah, that was
a free up some cap space.
That's a little game they always play.
You see the game how they play?
When they want to create space, they know what to do.
There's never an issue with money and paying players but there's always a way to manipulate
the numbers and create space for who you want to because his latest contract so i'm trying to
understand i'm trying to understand what they're waiting on with that i'm trying to understand what
they're waiting on with tour i'm trying to understand your love're waiting on with Tua. I'm trying to understand what are we... And again, I'm trying to...
What are we waiting on with Love?
What are we waiting on as far as Chase
and T. Higgins is concerned? Now,
they have to see how the books are going to look. We can't pay them
Bovo, Joe.
Yeah, you can't pay them Bovo. Now, if one of... If Higgins
is willing to take like $22, $24 million,
because Chase is going to want $30.
He hasn't signed...
He hasn't signed that franchise
tag yet either. Now,
at what point do we
say, or T,
for that matter, does T say, you know what,
I'm going to bet on myself this year,
and God forbid, he's
able to play a season
injury-free, and he hit
the market?
You know they can put the tag on him again right
now that
I don't know what you say I don't know what you
talking about
listen I don't do nothing like that
now if I'm willing to bet on myself
and I'm willing to stay and play
on the tag at 21
now you need to let me go
listen the Chiefs organization
I salute them for what they did
with LeJarius Sneed understanding
his value and allowing
him to go get what he deserves
real say if I give you
10 year good years you should be able to
let me walk with all my money
ah yeah
oh yeah
oh you real say if I
give you 10 great years you should let me work with all my money.
Hey, did you hear me? Did you hear what you just said?
Real gave me 10 great years and she should be able to walk with all her money.
But if you walk with all your money, them 10 years of lifestyle that you provided to me and allowed me to be able to live.
Oh, I'm I'm I'm leaving with something. So that's what they said.
Hey, I'm leaving here with something. Do it again.
And then, if they could be nasty,
they could put two years of the franchise
and then a year of the transition tag on.
But listen,
knowing Mr. Brown, knowing Katie,
knowing Troy... They cheat.
They cheat.
They're not cheating.
Don't do that
Now you know we spinning
Now you better look at
What we paid them
Our office
Look what we paid Burrow
Don't do that
We not cheat
That narrative needs to be
Gone and erased
Because we
We spinning that bag
Are y'all still practicing
Under the interstate
No we have
Do y'all practice
Outside under the interstate
Yes or no
We have a bubble now So y'all don't practice Outside interstate? Yes or no? We have a bubble now.
So y'all don't practice outside anymore?
We have an indoor facility.
No.
Well, when the sun is out, but when it's snowing and it was raining, we have an indoor facility.
When the sun is out, where do you guys practice?
Can I park my car on the overpass and watch the Bengals practice?
Yes or no?
No.
Yes, I can.
Yes, I can.
That's a ticket. That's a ticket. No, you can I can that's a ticket
can I park my car on the overpass
and watch I just want to know yes or no
I've never seen that happen before
I did cause I did it
yeah
who you was spying on
nobody I just happened to be
watching you know
it got me a nice view well it's funny who you're spying on? Nobody. I just happen to be I just happen to be watching, you know.
It got me a nice view.
Well, it's funny.
Y'all just started getting pizzas on Friday.
Pizza?
We don't eat pizza there.

we don't know what it is.
We just slide into Ash.
Ash is our official Mikey.
She going to try it?
Ash don't like Funnel Cake. I know it's bad.
What?
Ash is our official Mikey. Hold on. Wait, she don't like Funnel Cake I know it's bad. What? Ash is our official Mikey.
Hold on.
Wait, she don't like funnel cake for real?
No, and Ash likes everything.
Or she at least tried.
That's one thing about Ash.
She's like, don't knock it until you try it.
I was like, no, I'm going to knock it.
I'm going to knock it over if you put it in front of me.
So that's the thing.
I'm assuming she's had a bad experience.
So she went somewhere where the funnel cakes weren't good.
Now, if you're ever in Cincinnati for whatever reason...
Oh, the fair funnel cakes.
Oh, that's trash.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Listen, they don't make no funnel cakes like Young Bull
out there in Cincinnati make these funnel cakes.
I'm telling you, man.
All type of toppings, all type of just crazy strawberry Oreo,
like all type of crazy stuff.
Listen to me.
Funnel Cake Island in Cincinnati.
I can't remember what street it's on, but it's in the same plaza as a restaurant called Hook's.
That's all I knew.
I don't know the cross streets, but if you're from Cincinnati and you're in the chat, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
But hey, tell Ash, Ash, Ash, you got to try this funnel cake.
And if I'm wrong, if I'm lying, I'm lying.
We need to go to the Texas State Fair.
That's where I ate it.
I know.
Texas.
I've had it at a fair.
Yeah, I've eaten it at a fair, but not the Texas State Fair, where they fry Oreos, Snickers, butter.
They fry everything. Yeah. What you know where they fry Oreos, Snickers, butter. They fry everything.
Yeah.
What you know about elephant ears?
You know about elephant ears?
The flower?
Or the plant?
Oh.
No, no, no.
Not a real elephant ear.
No, they're the flowers
or the plant called elephant ears.
No, no.
I'm talking about like
it's like similar
to a funnel cake a little bit
but it's made a little different.
At the Dade County Youth Fair
all I care about
is going to get that corn in the cob.
I care about the shish kebab.
I care about elephant ears.
I don't like shish kebabs.
No!
Oh, come on!
What you doing? What you talking about?
I don't like the peppers, and I don't like that.
I don't like it.
No?
Oh, you missing out on the finer things. If you don't like shish ke? Oh, you missing out on the
final thing.
If you don't like shish kebab, come on, man.
We gonna go to Texas State Fair.
Texas State Fair? When is that?
It's during the
October. It's like Oklahoma-Texas,
right? That's the Oklahoma-Texas game.
We need to go
and eat. Man, I'm gonna take
me some Maylocks
because I know my stomach is going to beat.
Yeah, I'm
ready. I got some cowboy boots too.
I ain't had a chance to wear two.
Yeah.
Nah.
You ain't got no cowboy. How the hell
you got cowboy boots in Florida?
Hello?
I'm a bull rider. You forgot?
I still practice. I ride
horses on the weekend out here.
Tell her.
No.
Come on now. You know I ride horses. I know you've seen
the many clips of me riding horses going
fast as hell, doing tricks and all that crazy stuff.
I didn't see that.
Ash, can you please
pull up videos for me riding and me riding horses i am a
professional bull rider you're not no professional this guy you do someone doesn't make you a
professional that's all it takes because i was on the professional circuit when i did it
if you paint a picture does that make you an artist? Yeah. Who, me?
Yeah, because I get to set the value on how much is worth.
First of all.
Now, if I can get anybody to buy it, that makes me a professional.
Shit.
That's what everybody else do.
Okay.
