Ocho, 464-pound D-tackle Desmond Watson could be the largest draft pick in NFL history. His weight comes with a massive 6'6 frame. Watson had his pro day workout.
Starting point is 00:04:22 He benched 225 36 times. That's more than any player mustered at this year's combine. And he ran the 40 in under 6 seconds, a 593, and he had a 25 inch vertical. Aaron Gibson. No, Aaron Gibson only weighed 405
Starting point is 00:04:39 from Wisconsin. Hold on, hold on. Hey, can you do me a favor real quick, huh? Yes. For me, because I can't see, I can't visually see him, so I'm listening to the numbers you're giving me. Is he bigger than Sam Adams?
Starting point is 00:04:53 That's right. Is he bigger than what Sam Adams was or bigger than Gilbert Brown? Yeah. Hell yeah. He outweighed him down to about 100. What? He's 464, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:05:07 What you think Gilbert Brown was? Like 365, 370 at the top. Can he move? He ran 593. I mean, move in the position that he actually plays. Hey, think about it. He'll de-tackle. He ain't going from A gap to B gap.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Oh, he clogging up space. That's it. Okay. Hey, somebody in the NFC East stopped the push-push. Yeah. Put his ass over the center. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Look here. You got the guard. You got the guard in the center. Well, listen. Put your ass back. Listen, Cincinnati. Cincinnati, we need help on defense. And obviously, we can start right there on that defensive line. Bring them on down there.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Clog that thing up. If I'm not mistaken, I think at one point in time, he was almost 500 pounds. Didn't he lose like 40, 50 pounds there? Desmond Watson. I think I heard him talking about that he was like almost 500 like really close to 500 at one point oh they go hey listen depending on where you go
Starting point is 00:06:14 they gonna get that weight up off of him they gonna get some of it up off of him hey at some point hey Ocho I mean you might get him down you ain't getting him under 400cho I mean, you might get him down You ain't getting him under 400 Yeah, I mean, listen Get him a little lower
Starting point is 00:06:31 Yeah, get him a little You put him on that Zip-It That's the only way you're going to get him under Hey, Ozipic Semiglutide, Trizepatide That's what I ate That's how I ate. That's how I ate. And then 464, I ate.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Now, I see that he can't play in the league if he try this diet because I've seen somebody over 400 pounds, and they got tried this diet, and they was under 200. Crap. I had an old boy. Hey, he was about 4'10". That pipe had him drawn up. He was under 200.
Starting point is 00:07:15 About 175. Hey, man, you shut up, man. I'll be out of it with you, Ocho. But I hope I hope I get an opportunity to play. I think somebody I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope

Starting point is 00:07:43 I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I I love the numbers. I hear the numbers. It sounds, you know, staggering. It sounds intimidating. But I need to see what you look like when you turn the film on. Are you disruptive? Yeah. You know? TJ ain't no better than I am at working at technology. Hell.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Hey. What'd you say? Can you hear us? Yeah, I can hear y'all. I don't pretend like you can hear us all along. Nah, I couldn't. I ain't know what the hell. Hey, what's up, boy?
Starting point is 00:08:11 What's happening? Hey, look. Hey, T, look, I'm swole. Hey, I see you got your little ass back in that wig room. You need to get on that shark plan, boy. What's been up? You got to get on that Shannon shark plan. Shit, we little motherfuckers. to get on that Shannon Shark plan. Shit, we little motherfuckers.
Starting point is 00:08:26 I'm on the Shannon Shark plan. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Hey, Sly's your boy. I got you. Hey, listen, listen. You put it under the tongue, boy does wonders. You hear me? Hey, Sly's your boy.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I got you, I got you, I got you. How did I get involved in this? Hey, TJ, let me ask you this. When you first met Hooch, when you first met Hooch, what was your impression of this dude?
Starting point is 00:08:59 Man, so we met in college. He was just real chill. Real just real chill. Real, real chill. Chad don't really talk no shit till it's like the competition start. Other than that, Chad's chilling. And then when the competition start,
Starting point is 00:09:14 that's when all the shit. So, you know, I thought Chad was hella quiet. And then we went to practice. I said, oh shit, who is this? It was just a different guy. Who is this fool? Man, straight up, who is this fool exactly? Oh, them some
Starting point is 00:09:31 good days, man. Them some good days. Oh, them some good days. TJ. I've been knowing Chad since we was teenagers, basically. Yeah. That's crazy. How many years has it been? Listen, my man, I'm not... You're 40. You're 46. If you were a teenager, you'd be 28.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Man. Chad, that's damn near 30 years, bro. Yes. Golly, boy. Hey, you know what's crazy, though, Chad? I was just telling somebody this. No, we still look the same, boy. God doesn't...
Starting point is 00:10:00 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, you know what they say? The black of the juice is sweeter than the berry. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, him that? Chad, he always had a bald head. He ain't never had no hair. He'll grow some hair here and there. It's sporadic. As a matter of fact, TJ, Ocho hair is kind of like my sex life. Sporadic.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Sporadic. Nah, don't do that. You know that ain't true. I ain't got no sparring. Ocho cut me out of my deal. I can't got no spark. I want you to cut me out of my deal. I can't get no spark because he ordered them all. Hey, I got about three boxes full. Logic Boy, you always in L.A.
Starting point is 00:10:57 You come to L.A. Hey, matter of fact, I'm going to be in L.A. on the 30th. But you got to understand, these are prescribed specifically for me based on the questions I had to ask before I ordered them. So they're prescribed to you. Now, I'm not sure if you would be able to use mine because mine is like putting 93 in your car. You hear me?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Yeah, he got the hottest gas. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen. Hey. Huh? I know Chad. I know Chad. I know.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, come on. He know I got you. Y know. Yeah, yeah, hey, come on. Y'all got my head hurting already. You think the Bengals re-signed, they re-signed T. We knew they were going to re-sign Chase. That was a
Starting point is 00:11:39 no-brainer. You're talking about one of the top three receivers in the league and I'm not sure he's two or three. You make the case, it's easy to say he or Jetta, based on the last three years, they're one, 1A, whatever the case, you want to go. Are you surprised that the Bengals were able to get a deal done
Starting point is 00:11:55 with T? No, not at all. Who else earned it? Them two dudes earned it. When you go outside of Trey Hendrickson, nobody else on the team has earned that money. We knew they was going to pay Jamar. They always going to pay
Starting point is 00:12:11 their best receiver and their quarterback. They always going to do that. What shocked me, T, when he fired David Moodle together, he basically told the Bengals, I want to stay in Cincinnati. I fired my agent because I want to stay in Cincinnati. I fired my agent because I want to stay
Starting point is 00:12:28 here. Y'all want to make that happen. He took a pay cut to stay in Cincinnati. He really did. And so, no, it didn't surprise me, but shit, who else earned it? Nobody else on that team earned it outside of Trey Hendricks. And so, you got to pay somebody. The Eagles paying everybody.
Starting point is 00:12:43 This is what you got to think about. When you think about the Eagles and with Lurie and Young Bull is over there doing Yeah, yeah. But the Rosemans, they pay everybody a little bit early.
Starting point is 00:12:55 They catching them early, but they not paying top dollar, actually, for the players that they specific position. But the Bengals, we waiting on the back end.
Starting point is 00:13:03 We waiting on the back end and forcing the players to they specific position. But the Bengals, we waiting on the back end. We waiting on the back end and forcing the players to bet on themselves. So they could have had Jamar at what? 35, 36? Yep. They could have had
Starting point is 00:13:13 two years ago. Two years ago. And they know this is the truth because I told them. They could have had T. Higgins five years, a hundred million. They said that was too much.
Starting point is 00:13:22 And I know this because I told them this. But the Eagles, they paying A.J. Brown got paid at the top. Devontae Niff didn't get paid at the top. Jalen Hurst got paid at the top.
Starting point is 00:13:35 What organization you know signed a dude to a deal, he ball out and they say, you know what, man? You outplayed your deal. We're going to give you another deal after one year. The way they just did Saquon Barkley.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Game 20 mil. Look, I'm praying if I'm a rookie coming out that I get drafted. Absolutely. Right, right, right, right, right. But also, you got to understand how special Saquon Barkley is. This is just not your average running back.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Tell them especially New York and they wouldn't pay you. Yeah. Chad, you know being special when you under that contract, damn sure you know the money. I mean, but also, you got to understand the importance and value that he brought to that team in general. Some of the pressures that he took off Jalen Hurst throughout that season, what he was able to do for them offensively,
Starting point is 00:14:19 actually getting them over the hump and getting to that Super Bowl run. So I understand, especially everything he's been through, the storyline in general, that's one of the greatest stories right now. Giants, we're going to tag you because we don't really value the position anymore. The Giants are dumb. They should have got a Super Bowl ring for how dumb they are. You're letting Saquon go. They should have been given a Super Bowl. The Giants should have got a Super Bowl ring for how dumb they are if you're letting Saquon go to jail. They should have been
Starting point is 00:14:45 given a Super Bowl ring. They don't. Hey, so listen, knowing the Bengals and understanding what we need, the way we look last year, how we finish,
Starting point is 00:14:53 understanding what we need to do offensively, obviously we need to start fast. But on the defensive side of the ball, what do you think we need to do
Starting point is 00:15:01 come draft? What do we need most? We got to be able to stop the run. I believe Jenkins is to be his second year. If anything, like his daddy, he going to be better. So your pops was a hell of a defensive tackle. He's going to be better. Just his bloodlines and a year of experience.
Starting point is 00:15:21 We just going to have to draft well on defense, man. We got to be able to draft well. We draft Miles Murphy out of Clemson in the first round. He got to start playing like that now. This going into his third year, he ain't playing like a first-round draft. He got to play like that. We need Cam Taylor Britt to
Starting point is 00:15:37 play how he played in 2023. Jay Turner was playing well, then he got hurt. They can do it. It's just they cannot miss we can't miss with draft picks on the defense side of the ball when you're gonna pay the offense you gotta draft and develop on the defensive side of the ball that's gonna be the key we gotta make sure we get three starters out of this draft on defense well wait three stars that can come in and start right now? Right now. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Your first round pick, your second round pick, and somebody else that just surprised the gym. What do you see from the Eagles? What do they get? Jordan Davis. Jalen Carter. Brother Mikel. DeJuan. You see what they did?
Starting point is 00:16:21 Blanket shot. Yeah, all those things. You see? All those things. Kobe Dean. Nolan Smith. All those things. All on theseion. You see? All on Deion. Kobe Dean, Nolan Smith, Jewel. All on Deion. All on Deion.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Because we're paying all the money, 55, 50 plus million for Hertz. We got 33, 34, 33 million tied up in AJ. We got 28 million tied up in Devontae. And we paid our entire offensive line, Lane Johnson, Dickerson, Maulata. So we got to get
Starting point is 00:16:50 out the park on the defensive side, Ocho, because we can't pay top dollar. That's why they let those guys leave. Think about the guys that left. Went to New England. One guy went to Arizona because we can't pay them. Now Jalen Carter, whoo!
Starting point is 00:17:05 He about to get $41, $42 million. Go ahead and give it to him now before you have to pay him $50 million. Hey, T, think about how bad our defense was, right? And obviously they paid T, they paid Burrow, we paid
Starting point is 00:17:22 Chase. What do you think about Trey Henderson? Do we pay Trey Henderson market value? Or is he going to give him a home team discount? Nope, he not. We pay a market value, Chad. But what's market value? What's market value? He got 33, what, 36 sacks in the past two seasons?
Starting point is 00:17:42 He got 35. 17 and a half the last two years. 35 sacks in the past two seasons? He got 35. 17 and a half the last two years. 35 sacks. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey,
Starting point is 00:20:41 Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ollie's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
Starting point is 00:21:26 No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is what I'll say. I'm a pain, but I'm not making him one of the highest paid defensive players. I'm not doing it. How are you not going to do that? Number one, number one, this is where we call this hustling backwards. I ain't going out. I'm trying to get money.
Starting point is 00:22:39 I'm not going to hold out and lose money. You do that, we hustling backwards now. He's not going to hold out. So I'm doing my solid. I'm giving. He's supposed to make $17 million, I believe, this year. If the Bengals would be fair, they'd bump him up to 28-30.
Starting point is 00:22:56 The 30-30 would be the max that I would give him if I was the Bengals. We got to understand, he's a hell of a player. He had five sacks against the Raiders. Five sacks against the Raiders. Five sacks against the Raiders. And so he showed up big time the last game against the Therese.
Starting point is 00:23:13 With him being 31, you can't give this man a four-year extension at 35 plus a year. I'd give him 28 to 30 million. I believe the Bengals would be that. How much are you going to give him guaranteed? How much are you going to give him fully guaranteed? Because that's what I'm looking at. Damn
Starting point is 00:23:27 them big-ass numbers if they ain't just paper. See, now, Shannon, you talking... Now they're talking like that agent right there. I say... I say about... I'm going to give me $45 guaranteed.
Starting point is 00:23:45 $45 million guaranteed. I don't know if he's going to give me 45 guaranteed. 45 minutes. I don't know if you're going to take that, TJ. I ain't taking that. No, no, no. This is the thing, though. Because if you look at T. Higgins' contract, if I'm guaranteed 30 in the first year, just say 35 in the first year.
Starting point is 00:24:01 35 in the first year if you trade Hendrickson. And then I give you a $10 million roster bonus in the offseason. 35 in the first year if you're Trey Hendrickson. And then I give you a $10 million roster bonus in the offseason. I'm not releasing you. Your base salary for that second season is pretty much guaranteed. It's just not part of
Starting point is 00:24:13 the fully guaranteed part of your contract. So now your base salary is somewhere along $15 million. That's $60 million in two years you're going to make. And it ain't fully guaranteed, but $15 million of it is as long as you got that $10 million roster bonus. years you're going to make. And it ain't fully guaranteed, but 15 of it is. As long as you got that $10 million roster bonus,
Starting point is 00:24:29 they're not going to give you $10 million in offseason and relief. Hey, they say, did y'all see what they did to Aaron Rodgers? Did y'all see what they did to Russell Wilson? They will release you. Even if you got 30 plus, Russell had $36 million guaranteed. They said, nah, we said nah we good what Russell Wilson did to himself when he was playing yeah I think TJ for me I think he might be content if you fully guarantee the first two years at about 60 million dollars because you said that 30 million
Starting point is 00:24:57 dollar level you're not trying to put him at uh you're not trying to put him at uh 34 million you're not trying to put him at Miles Garrett. You're not trying to put him at Miles Garrett, which is 40 million. So I think two years at 60 million, the last three years are going to be vulnerable, but he's going to want something, a big number to make a big splash. You're going to probably have to give him 60 million fully guaranteed. Hey, this is the year, man. We got to do something. We got to do something we we got to do something we got to plan a preseason because the last few years we've been playing we start off
Starting point is 00:25:30 we start off slow every regular season that Patriots game killed us bro the first game of the season last year was is is Chase gonna play is he gonna oh shit he gonna play he acted and it moves to the Patriots and that now is a game that would have got y'all in the playoffs. But you know what? We're talking about Trey Hendrickson, but we saw Pratt, your outstanding linebacker that led them in tackles. Now you lost Hubbard who retired. Hendrickson is upset because his
Starting point is 00:25:55 contract, Pratt said, y'all ain't got no money for me because y'all just paid Pearl, y'all played T, y'all paid Chase, y'all ain't got no money for me and y'all need to pay Hendrickson, y'all need to let me go you can't keep losing these good defensive players TJ and expect you to think you gonna win
Starting point is 00:26:11 you can't Shannon but I hate doing this man I hate doing this no we was players man we was players but if you played on that defense and you not trade Hendrickson what you want what you want? What you want?
Starting point is 00:26:29 What did you do during the season that says you deserve more? I want more than seven million. Then you should have played like you wanted more than seven million. Damn, damn, T. Hey, but see, you talking about people, Joe. Look at TJ. TJ cutting them up. I'm saying, outside of Trey Hendrickson, who on that defense could literally say I deserve a pay raise?
Starting point is 00:26:51 Trey Hendrickson was the only one that showed up each and every game when he was needed. Now, Jermaine Pratt has some games, but he even has some plays where, ah, we needed that play. Ah, we needed that play. I mean, if you start in any position in the league, we all know this, and you get enough opportunity, you're going to make enough plays. But what about the plays you don't make?
Starting point is 00:27:15 Go ahead. I would get ready to say, obviously, you and I have been playing together since college. And obviously, I view, and I've always said it before, I think Chase is probably, to me, the greatest banger receiver to whoever don those strikes.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Probably, you think? Okay. I don't know. Wait, wait, let me finish. Let me finish. No, no, no, no, no. Because that's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:38 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:38 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:39 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:40 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:40 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:27:41 That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. That's not true. no that that man right there with them locs on is huh like i've never i've never won a triple crown though listen listen because you had me listen though and chad know this shannon he know what
Starting point is 00:27:57 i'm about to say man chad's supposed to be in the hall of fame man they fucking this boy over oh i put on my own jacket though no no no no no you, no, no, no. Chad, you joking. You know I'm serious about this because I tell you this all the time. Chad is the greatest receiver in Bengals history. Now, Jamar Chase is on his way to trying to equal or pass Chad, but where we sit right now,
Starting point is 00:28:18 man, Chad is here. It's Chad. It's Chad. It's A.J. Green. It's Isaac Curtis. That's what it is to me. Now, Jamar Chase is on his way to getting there. But come on, Chad, you can't do it to yourself. You know, I tell you this all the time. Shannon, you're in the Hall of Fame. Let me give you my Hall of Fame criteria because for some odd reason, I think my criteria is the best and nobody listens to it. For a period of five years, were you a top five player at your position?
Starting point is 00:28:52 If you got to think about it, you're not a Hall of Fame. I agree. So now you go to 2002, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. That's seven years. Seven of those years, Chad was top three in the league for five of them. He led the AFC five years in a row. How this man can't even be a finalist?
Starting point is 00:29:16 Like, that makes no sense. He was leading the AFC in a year. He didn't lead it. I did. I did. So, you tell me how he ain't in a... How did. I did. So, you tell me how he ain't in a, how he not even a finalist,
Starting point is 00:29:29 but you got dudes that wasn't even top five at their position, they getting in. I was a villain. The villain, they never letting the villain in. Nah.
Starting point is 00:29:37 They never, they listen. I understood that. Why do you think I donned the jacket in the first place? Because I understood the politics
Starting point is 00:29:43 that came behind it. I don't like the, it. I don't like the business side of football. Remember we talked about that the other day? When I talked about contracts, the reason why I played the game like a little kid having fun and entertaining. Now, the flip side of things, okay, I know how y'all gonna
Starting point is 00:29:57 play me. I chose nothing in form. I'm playing the game the way I felt it should be played. So, regardless of what my numbers would be, T, I understand what you're saying, and I told you this before. You earned it. But you got to play by their rules. If you don't play by their rules,
Starting point is 00:30:14 they're not letting you in there. You know how I feel about it. You know I can give two, you know what. But hey, play by their rules. Now, all the stuff that you was doing, you can do now. Y'all didn't get far for it. They owe you back now. They owe you back. Yeah, but here's the thing, though, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:30:29 You had no off-field issues. Now, what happened was the thing that's going against you, and you still don't have this, is that they wanted to keep T.O. out so bad, they changed it. They said anything that you did on the sidelines or in the locker room could be used against you. Where before, they said even off-field activities couldn't be held against a player.
Starting point is 00:30:52 That's how bad they wanted to keep T.O. from being the first ballot on the paper. Yeah. That was criminal that T.O. And then they had the nerve not to let him in the first year. The second year? No. The first year, and I think the first year and i and i think even though and y'all know how i feel about t.a t.o i said he's the second greatest receiver to me some people push back and say it's randy but we know i think i think you and i think t.j and i
Starting point is 00:31:17 are more aligned i think jerry's the greatest receiver and it ain't close that's my impression now t.j you might have you might say randy You might say T.O. But for me, I think those three are the top three receivers as we sit here and discuss it today. Now, Chase and Jetta and somebody down the line might have something to say about it. But I sure hope I'm alive when I can see the receiver that say, hey, he right there with Jerry. I want to be alive to see that receiver. That ain't going to ever happen.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Jerry Rice was getting 1,000 yards in year 20, bro. 40 years old, got 1,200 yards. Yeah. That's never going to happen. We'll never see somebody do what Jerry Rice has done. But Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, they on their way. But they got to make sure that they don't hit any bumps in the road because Odell Beckham was on his way as well.
Starting point is 00:32:11 And he hit those bumps in the road and he could never recover from that. And so I just feel like Chad is the best bingo receiver in the history of the team. He knows that. I know that. Now Chase is on his way i just i tell
Starting point is 00:32:26 chad this all the time because he never gonna say nothing about it man um it's just a crime that he can't be a hall of fame finalist when his game on the field he heard that shit bro and and that's one thing about chad like when you talk about work hard, this dude is going to run himself to death. Like, Shannon, we was in year nine, and we was taking all the scout team reps like we was still. Every time. Every practice. Thursday, Friday, we did all the offensive reps, all the scout team reps. I left the Bengals and went to other
Starting point is 00:33:06 teams. Them dudes is like, bro, I'm a scout team. I haven't. I just always have done it. And so, people don't realize, like, Chad, where I call, we similar paths. We both went JUCO. We both had, like,
Starting point is 00:33:22 ain't no way they making it to the league. Oh, shit, they made it. And to be successful. I mean, that right there within itself, pat yourself on the back. But, yeah, Chad should be in the Hall of Fame, man. Any chance I get, I'm going to say that because I know. I know who the best receivers were.
Starting point is 00:33:40 And I'm not going to put nobody down, but some of these dudes, they're not better than him. And them dudes even know they're not better than him. Last season, you stepped up to help out rookie Jermaine Burton. We saw the struggles. A lot of it played out publicly. Ocho said he's going to try to intervene this year. We got two great Bengal receivers that's trying to help the younger generation.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Like, bro, there's a professional aspect of it, which is what you do. You're in the NFL. That means you're a professional aspect of it which is what you do you're an nfl that means you're professional and then there's a pro pro which is the way you go about handling your business we need to get you to become a role you know with jermaine like i was talking to him a lot during the prior to the season starting because you know he was having problems prior to the season. And Bengals knew that I was close with him, so they was reaching out to me before anything ever became public.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Certain games, he wasn't even going to be active then. They were letting me know the night before. And so I'm giving Maine a call like, bro, what's going on? How you doing? I'm going to just see if he's going to tell me what's going on before I got to ask him what's going on. And he got all the talent in the world. But at some point, I can't want you to be what you don't want to be.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Okay, what I tell my kids, I can't want it more than you want it for yourself. He's going to have to figure that out. I just talked to him today. to be okay what i tell my kids i can't want it more than you want it for yourself he gonna have to figure that out and i just i just talked to him today i just talked to him today and to me it ain't about anything physical on the field he gotta make sure mentally and off the field he ready to go because the league gonna move on he got one more strike. They gonna move on without him. It don't matter who you are, man. It's NFL. This thing gonna keep rolling. With you or without you, you gonna hop on the train and roll with us
Starting point is 00:35:32 or you gonna get your ass rolled over and get left behind. I hope he figure it out, man, because he's so talented. He comes from a background where he can really change his family's fortune. And I'm gonna do all i can chad know me i'm gonna talk so i'm gonna help i'm gonna help him as much as i can but ultimately i
Starting point is 00:35:51 can't want it more than you want to yeah man listen i i don't i don't i don't know brother burden like like that obviously when i when i go to the stadium when i do have my my times and chances where i'm at the field. I don't want to be that father figure. I don't want to be that guy because when I was playing and people come in, I wasn't trying to hear that stuff from them. So I just talk strictly football. When you're out here,
Starting point is 00:36:18 you're going to pull up to the training. That's what you're going to do. I'm going to bring my cleats too. I don't know if you... Tell him to let it go, TJ. Hey. What? I'm going to bring my cleats too I don't know if you I can't tell TJ tell him to let it go TJ hey what
Starting point is 00:36:28 hey hey man it's just different Chad hey hey right now like I I lightweight hurt myself thinking I could
Starting point is 00:36:36 hey man hey your mind say I got this as soon as you get on that field boy your body be like boy you better sit your ass right on down. There's a reason why we hung them
Starting point is 00:36:47 cleats up, TJ. Hey, we looked the part, but I don't know if we are the part. It's that lateral, and I keep trying to tell Ocho, yes, Ocho, could you run straight ahead? Yes. But that da-da? That da-da? It ain't no it is that da-da-da-da-da.
Starting point is 00:37:06 See, Chad might be the only, that, that, that. See, Chad might be the only, I'll give you that. Chad lateral movement was, that was out of this world. That, that's one thing. Chad was so quick.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Even if he lose quickness, he about what everybody else is now. See, I got told you. But here at the Fangs, DJ, even though he might be what, because his quickness is because he's so light. See? I told you. But here's the thing, TJ. Even though he might be what because his quickness is
Starting point is 00:37:28 because he's so light. See, you and I like to play through contact. We wanted somebody to tell me, I mean, TJ, so we can snatch a pull or rip through that. Him at 185, his lateral quickness right there,
Starting point is 00:37:44 man, they're going go shove his ass up under the bitch hold on hold on hey Shannon you're probably giving Chad about 5 pounds Chad probably about 185
Starting point is 00:37:50 I'm 205 Chad you are dead blood yes hey Chad Chad got a you got a big bicep you got a big chest
Starting point is 00:37:59 you got big calves yeah he got no legs that's it but all your weight the weight is from waist down that's what that's what no legs. The weight is from waist down. That's what a weight
Starting point is 00:38:08 is, Ocho. You know what Prima say. Prima say the horses ain't got no big legs, neither. Exactly. Fairbred. Fairbred. Look how skinny their ankles are. Now, Climesdale got them big-ass legs, and they ain't moving nothing.
Starting point is 00:38:25 They pulling stuff. Plow horse and a racer. Hey, TJ, who you got? Because we know we got this fight coming up this year. Ocho
Starting point is 00:38:35 versus James Harrison. Yeah. Listen, man. Chad, my dog, bro. Hey,
Starting point is 00:38:43 T, don't say nothing wrong. Don't say nothing wrong. Don't say nothing wrong. Hey, what kind of fight is it, man? Is it just boxing? Nah. Chad, don't do the MMA, bro. I love you, dog.
Starting point is 00:38:53 What side you on? You got on my side? Chad, listen to what I'm saying. Hold on. Are you on my side or not? I need to see your eyes, bro. Take the looks off. Chad.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Boxing, I got you. MMA, bro. Take the looks off. Chad. Boxing, I got you. MMA? Man, that motherfucker. James Harrison gonna grab you and me at the same time. Boy, you know how strong James Harrison is? I didn't say nothing about strength, boy. You know how strong
Starting point is 00:39:20 Hold on. If he can wrestle, you do. If he can grab you, you do. If he can grab, you do. He's not going to be able to grab me, T. He's not going to be able to grab me, T. I'm going to play with him, T. Listen to me. I'm going to toy with him.
Starting point is 00:39:32 I'm going to toy with him in the octagon. Listen, I'm going to hit him at will when I want to, T. I'm going to be jabbing and jabbing. Jab, T. Hey, I'm going to bounce around. I'm going to move around, T. Hey, watch out. Hey, Jab.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Watch out. And listen, I'm going to tell you. I'm going to move around. Hey, watch out. Watch out. Hey, listen. I'm going to tell you. Let me listen to you. I got you. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. You need to have faith in the mustard seed.
Starting point is 00:39:54 I'm going to tell you how I'm going to do it. I'm going to choke him out with a guillotine, and I'm going to run straight to you and jump in your arms. Starting point is 00:44:51 He going to be tired. What you think? He going to be in the octagon, T? Because he going to shoot and take you down. He can't shoot. You can't shoot. I'm going to keep my distance. You got to get close enough to throw a punch.
Starting point is 00:45:04 How you going to throw a punch? How you going to throw a punch, JoJo? Easy. What you mean? I'm a gazelle punching. Hey. Hey, man. I just hope James Harrison, man.
Starting point is 00:45:18 James, if you watching, have mercy on my boy. Hey, James, if you watching, you got a punchable face. See, TJ, what you just started. Tell you. Hey, what month is the fight? Whatever month you want it to be. I was hoping somewhere around August or September. I thought we were doing a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Oh, so you wanted to be a Super Bowl in San Francisco. Yeah, so all the former current players could be there to see him get his ass whooped. Well, what about our show? We could do it tonight. He said you ain't going to be able to show up. That's what he said. That'd be perfect, too. We could have a fight before the show.
Starting point is 00:45:57 Not the same day. I'm saying like a few days before. Oh, Lord have mercy. You got to remember, Super Bowl is a seven-day event. Seven-day week. I I know So we can schedule it I bet you ain't heard from him Cause I told him to send the contract So we'll have a fight

Starting point is 00:46:36 I gotta listen I gotta show the I gotta show the world we gotta learn to stand up the bullies we gotta learn to stand up the people
Starting point is 00:46:42 that's bigger than us and stop stop looking at people that have size than us and stop looking at people that have size and strength and allowing that to intimidate us. Oh, you know I ain't... So remember, remember the story
Starting point is 00:46:52 of David and Goliath, right? Same thing. That's what it's going to be. It's going to play out in real life. That's all I got to say. You know I'm with you. I'm advising you to make sure it's just hands only. Hey, T, I got the quickest feet in the world.
Starting point is 00:47:13 You know they used to call me Liu Kang back in high school. Mortal Kombat, Liu Kang. That man get his hands on you, Ocho? Hey, that's the same thing as they say on Sundays. If they get their hands on you, Ocho? Hey, that's the same thing as you say on Sundays. If they get their hands on me, and only one person was able to do it. Revis. You just got, you know, you was, see, when Revis did that, you was one foot in, one foot out.
Starting point is 00:47:40 You wasn't all the way in. You wasn't all the way in. Well, I sure hope he all the way in when he fight James. Oh, I definitely am. Or he'll be both feet out. Hey, I've been working on my wrestling techniques too. Oh, Lord. See what you said, TJ.
Starting point is 00:47:55 This man talking about he gonna wrestle. No, I'm talking about in the third round. He gonna be tired. You ain't gonna get to the third round. You better go get with one of them Gracies and get on some jujitsu so that when he when he grabbed him wait a minute hold on i'm a black belt tj what you talking about nah that's for me that ain't no that ain't no jujitsu hey you better go get with one of them gracies somebody teach you some jujitsu when he grab you you got him that's your best bet.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Pay John Jones to teach you. You go to Albuquerque, New Mexico. That's where John, that's where he trained out of. Go to Mexico for like a month. Yeah, I'm ready, man. The fact that y'all don't believe me, that kind of hurt, man.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Chad, that meant, hey, wrestling? That's all the big dudes do hey that's all they're gonna do hey wrestling fighting i don't know it don't matter what anything combat sports he's going to be tired in 20 seconds because the first thing you're gonna do is ah done gassed okay it don't take much energy to grab somebody that can't get away. I do realize that man played in the NFL, so he did. He rushed the quarterback. You know, when they was going on no huddle, he was still rushing the quarterback, okay?

Starting point is 00:49:27 Let me get that shirt, man. I see they both got the baseball on the back. Appreciate that. All right, TJ. Take care, man. Thanks for joining us tonight. Yo, Sean. TJ, who's Mazzotta, former Bengal great, Ocho's teammate in college and in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:49:44 According to the, according to four rules college and in the NFL. According to four rules report sent to the NFL team this week, this is now a 15-yard penalty. It's being considered a violent gesture. So every time you know how to CD and all the guys like to...
Starting point is 00:50:04 You know what? I'm not even going to upset myself. all the guys like this. Oh, wait. You know what? I'm not even going to upset myself. I'm not even going to upset myself because whatever the competition committee or whoever is responsible for this and making the rules, still,
Starting point is 00:50:17 they all about control. Taking away our NFL. NFL stands for No Fun League. And they continue to strike and continue to find ways to take fun away from the game and allow players not to be them individual selves. But, you know, attendance was down, right? If I'm not mistaken.
Starting point is 00:50:34 But y'all go ahead and do it your way. Hey, Ocho. They give me $60 million. I go out there in a tuxedo. Ocho, I mean, youedo. I mean, Ocho, I mean, you think about that money. Ocho, you make good money. Ocho, them jokers making six,
Starting point is 00:50:51 seven times what you made. Oh, yeah. You think about what you made and not... Six exit. Yeah. Okay. Hey, Ocho, I'm going to have everything.
Starting point is 00:51:03 I'm going to have everything all nice and be able to tuck my shirt in, pull them socks up nice. Hey, coach, I'm going to have everything. I'm going to have everything all nice and deal. I took my shirt in. Pulled them socks up nice and high. I don't want no problems. I don't want no problems in the field. I'll tell you one thing. If I was playing in today's era, all the stuff I was doing back then, I'd still be doing it in Africa.
