Starting point is 00:04:18 And now I get back to my boring old day job. Head over to your nearest Boost Mobile store and make the most out of your tax refund. Aaron Rodgers didn't mince words when he discussed the end of two of an interesting two years in New York, describing a tenuous meeting with Jets head coach Aaron Glenn,
Starting point is 00:04:50 proud of free agency. I figured that I flew across country on my own dime. There was going to be a conversation. Rogers alleged that 20 seconds into the sit down with Glenn and new general manager, Darren Moogie. Glenn questioned whether Rogers still desired to play. Then he informed the Jets were going in a different direction. Glenn also implied he worried about Rodgers potentially undermining the leadership of the team and meetings. And Rodgers says, I didn't want any part of that.
Starting point is 00:05:18 It was already a debacle. Hold on. He said on Pat McAfee's show, because I wanted to make sure I get this right, because y'all say I got to. He said Aaron Glenn asked if he wanted to play football. He said, I'm interested. He didn't say, yes, I'm raring to go. I'm fired up.
Starting point is 00:05:41 He said, interested in playing. That's all A.G. and the manager wanted to hear. He also said there's still a possibility of retirement. Nobody is putting up with Aaron Rodgers' bull job, especially the Jets. Ocho, if somebody asks you, if Chad, you're going for the job, it's like, hey, would you like to get this job? I'm interested in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:09 A person that wants a job, oh, I would love to have this job. I'm so excited. Thank you for considering me for the position. I'm so happy. I'm delighted. If somebody asks you, are you going to play football, are you interested? Oh, they're gone yeah hey listen i think aaron rodgers you know at at this point i think he can see and you you would think at this
Starting point is 00:06:33 point he would see that the leverage that he's used to having for so many years based on what he's done and all his past accomplishments it's not it's not working it's not there it's not it's not where it used to be and it's not where it's going to be, especially with Aaron Glenn, who's a former player, who understands what it takes as a head coach now on what he needs in that locker room and having the person who's going to be the leader of men offensively. You can't be coming in with that kind of attitude.
Starting point is 00:07:02 And so if you answer like that, and it lets him know clearly, right away, you know what, he's still, he's still, he's still, he's still, he's still not ready.
Starting point is 00:07:11 He's not ready. And he's not putting up with that foolishness. What? What player? Hey, I have a question. Before you even go.
Starting point is 00:07:18 You think if, if they ask Justin Fields that exact same question, are you answering their plan? How do you think Justin Fields is going same question are you answering the plan how you think Justin Fields gonna respond
Starting point is 00:07:27 yes you know fuck it oh my bad my bad hell yeah I'm gonna write down
Starting point is 00:07:35 everything I'm willing to do to make sure I do what I can to make sure that you understand that I'm ready to play and I'm excited
Starting point is 00:07:42 to be here you see the problem is he said something very interesting. Y'all called me out. I told you, Ocho. I said, oh, Aaron Rodgers believe his resume is good enough that he doesn't have to audition anymore, that he should just get a job based on his resume. And people.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Well, my grandpa used to always say, boy, if you're not careful, you'll become the very thing you despise the most in a person. Now, look at Brent Favre's situation and how it played out in Green Bay. Yes, boom. Look at Aaron Rodgers. Tell me it ain't carbon copy. One guy won three MVPs. Right. One guy won four MVPs. Brent went to a Super Bowl, won that, went back the next year.
Starting point is 00:08:25 We beat him. Aaron Rodgers was one and done. He's never been back. I don't get what he doesn't get. Now, let me tell you what would have happened. And everybody say, you call me, I'll wait over here. Had they told him, you see, Aaron, that's the problem. You see, what you fail to realize.
Starting point is 00:08:45 They did that before. What did it give them? They flew their ass cross-country to come see you. Now, this is what would have happened had they called him and tell Aaron Rodgers they're going in a different direction. The first thing he's going to say, they didn't have a common courtesy
Starting point is 00:09:02 to come tell me, to my face. You see? The one thing if y'all guys have noticed, Aaron Rodgers is always the victim in his story. You see how quick he flipped that and put it on the Jets? You see how quick he flipped that and put it on Aaron Rodgers? No accountability in this. The way he conducted himself, the way he played is all the jets the jets were at fault i did nothing wrong
Starting point is 00:09:30 i'm always a little leery of someone that's always a victim in their story ain't nobody else the victim ain't nobody ain't nobody else has ever been done wrong in your story only you but can i can i say some one thing about it in chat i mean y'all might not believe me but one thing about a person that's as decorated as him that has accomplished what he's accomplished and having that past resume he's still gonna get an opportunity because of it. Yes! He's still going to get an opportunity. The Steelers still holding our hope. Yeah. Yeah, because you understand what you get in hopes.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Even if it doesn't look like the Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay, we hope we get flashes of what we know you can do. And we know with flashes of Aaron Rodgers, it's better than absolutely nothing. Because we know... You know what? I don't want to talk about nobody bad. Let me finish it. Let me tell you what he said. Aaron also spoke about the hesitation to make a decision on his NFL future.
Starting point is 00:10:34 I'm in a different phase of my life. I'm 41 years of age. I'm in a serious relationship. To make a commitment to a team is a big thing, whether you're a first-year player or a 20-year vet. How is it a big thing, whether you're a first-year player or a 20-year vet. How is it a big thing? You and Chad, do y'all hear this, man? He says it's a big thing to make a commitment to be on an NFL roster.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Either you do or you don't. Look at it. I'll tell you what. Look at Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald said, I don't want to train like that no more. He said, I've done this. I've done this. The better part, I did all 10 of my NFL career, all 10 years of my NFL career,
Starting point is 00:11:08 and I did it for three, four years of college. I have no desire to train my body, to train my mind. I'm walking away. To make a commitment to a team is a big thing, whether you're a first-year player or a 20-year vet. I had a lot of great conversations with a lot of teams. Not one of those was the Jets because that wasn't a great conversation. Because you know
Starting point is 00:11:28 why? Everybody else that you feel around with them. Jets say, we moved on. And they told you to your face. See, you know, breaking up over the phone or through an email or text message is one thing. But when somebody have the courage to look you
Starting point is 00:11:44 in your face and tell you, say, nah, I'm moving on? Yeah. Whew. You could, no. Hold on. You know, Joe? Yeah, you know who made that call, huh?
Starting point is 00:11:53 You know that call was, that ain't from upstairs. That's Aaron Glenn call. F-A-G, yeah. But I'm open to anything and attached to nothing. Oh, Joe, check this out. He says, I'm open to anything and attached to nothing. So this out. He says, I'm open to anything and attached to nothing.
Starting point is 00:12:06 So, yeah, retirement could still be a possibility. But right now, my focus is on my personal life. I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. Now, see, when I told y'all all of this, y'all called me everything. You said I had a personal axe to grind. I've been telling you, go back and look it up. Go back to CBS 20 years ago. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:30 I don't know. Hey, do you understand the leverage you have to have to even use the words in the sentence that he does on if he wants to come back and play, you understand the goals. You understand the balls you got to have to be able to say some of the things you're saying. When teams are waiting on you, you got you holding teams. Well, not teams.
Starting point is 00:12:56 A team. No, he ain't holding them hostage. They're allowing. You see, Ocho? They're allowing him. Now, you know what? Seven, eight years ago, I would have allowed him to hold me hostage. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Not now. Not at 41. Man. You know what? Even at 41, look what else is out there. Again, owners and GMs are basing everything on what he did in the past. Especially at that position.
Starting point is 00:13:31 He about to just let it... What's there to pick from? What's there to pick from? Think about that. Let's start there. Let's say, okay, you know what? Forget it. We're going to move on
Starting point is 00:13:42 from him. Who's the Steelers starting quarterback this year? Rudolph, right? And Mason Rudolph back? No, Kenny Pickett. Kenny Pickett's back, right? Is it Mason Rudolph or Kenny Pickett?
Starting point is 00:13:55 I think it's Mason Rudolph. But again, now you see, and this is no disrespect to Mason Rudolph. He's been there already. They've seen what he can do. But is Mason Rudolph the answer? They feel, well, we know what Aaron Rod going to do. But is Mason Rudolph the answer? They feel, well, we know what Aaron Rodgers could do. We know what he looks like.
Starting point is 00:14:08 He might not be the same Aaron Rodgers of old, but I know he's better than what we have. Of course, they don't allow us to do that. They said that about Zach Wilson. And Zach Wilson won more games than Aaron Rodgers.
Starting point is 00:14:20 But that ain't none of my business. I don't even know why I brought that up. Oh, oh. But when I said Zach wasn't the issue okay but I'm gonna let that go I don't fault Aaron you shouldn't fault anybody
Starting point is 00:14:38 if you stay if you allow someone to treat you like that and say they treat me so bad but you have a left yeah If you allow someone to treat you like that and say, they treat me so bad, but you have a left. Yeah. Everybody, I told y'all. See, the thing is that people say, y'all listen to what he say.
Starting point is 00:14:57 I listen to what he don't say. See, that's how psychologists, that's how they analyze a lot of people. I don't worry about what you say. I worry about what you should have said and what you didn't say. That tells me a lot more about you. Told you. I told y'all. This man,
Starting point is 00:15:17 they ask him did he want to play football? He said he was interested. Hold on. We ain't talking about no flag football. he said he was interested hold on this is not we ain't talking about no flag football we ain't talking about AAU we talking about NFL teams that are investing millions of dollars in you
Starting point is 00:15:36 you know what do you want to play uh I don't know I'm gonna think about it but I'm interested though you know I'm interested. I don't know. I'm going to think about it. But I'm interested, though. You know, no other player, no other position outside of a quarterback, a decorated quarterback, would be able to pull this off. No.
Starting point is 00:15:56 No. Goodbye. Nah, he didn't have a great conversation. So what? He's like, oh, you mean to tell me we can't talk you into it for him to have discounted this late bro we in april and you still haven't decided your personal life okay bro go live your life you've you've earned that right to live your personal life you're in a serious relationship. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I'm happy for you that you found someone that you want to be with. They understand you. You understand them. And it's a beautiful thing. I am happy for you. But you wasted these people. You wasted these people time. And then you mad.
Starting point is 00:16:40 He mad. You see how he put the onus on the Jets. I had a great conversation. Bro, what's the conversation? Ocho. I come in, talking to my guy. Hey, you want this relationship? I'm interested.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Okay, thank you. You already told me. Yeah. You already told me what it is. What it's going to be. What are we talking about? I got to talk you into staying in a relationship with me? Nah.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Nah. Maybe the love for the game is not there like it used to be. Let it go. If it was me, the position if I'm, listen, I'm not Aaron Rodgers, and obviously my views and the way I think about the game of football are completely different. But if it was me, wait a minute, I get to go to the Steelers? A historic franchise that won multiple championships? Damn, offensively, I get to work with DK Metcalf and my young boy George Pickens.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Well, hell, we in April, but I could have them right now with me wherever I want to be at getting that chemistry going. Learning their timing. Learning the rhythm. That's just me. I'm throwing with them boys right now in April
Starting point is 00:18:07 just to get acclimated with them. Does that strike you as something that he would do? My personal life. What do you mean my personal life? What is everybody that's in the NFL right now, what are they doing? Everybody doing what? They want to play football.
Starting point is 00:18:23 They're training. Come on, man. Everybody training. Everybody. Especially if you're serious about winning or being better. This entire time, I haven't felt like I've owed
Starting point is 00:18:42 anybody any decision at any point. I'm not holding anybody hostage. When the commitment is made, it has to be an all-in type of commitment. I don't think it's fair to the Steelers or anyone else I'm dealing with. A lot of off the field, it's a lot
Starting point is 00:18:58 off the field to make that commitment. The people that need to know, know. That's what I said. he ain't holding nobody hostage teams are allowing him to do this I'm moving accordingly you do you we're going to do us hey
Starting point is 00:19:19 listen you know what he's moving accordingly and the team need to do so as well because I've applied that to Because I've applied that to life I've applied that to life You pay attention You use your eyes Because I can see better than I can hear
Starting point is 00:19:36 I can see what Aaron Rodgers is doing So I'm not even worried about what you're telling me You're telling me you're really not interested in playing. No. So I'm going to move accordingly. Yes. And you should. Despite the options at the quarterback position not being anything like you.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Despite your last two years really not being much. But still, we're hanging on a whim and a prayer based on what you did in the past. Starting point is 00:21:31 connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to
Starting point is 00:23:05 delve deeply into Oli's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a
Starting point is 00:23:21 child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafak, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. According to WEEI in Boston, if Abdul Carter falls to the Patriots at number four, the Eagles could trade A.J. Brown to New England to move up to take the star pass rusher.
Starting point is 00:24:58 What star pass rusher? Abdul Carter? Yes. Absolutely not. If I'm the Patriots, why would I trade? I mean, look, I want to give Drake May as many weapons as I possibly
Starting point is 00:25:11 can. But you've got to be able to attack somebody. What you going to do with Josh Allen? Tua. Isn't Tua still in that division? Oh, yeah. Tua isn't Tua still in that division oh yeah I guess they could ah
Starting point is 00:25:38 nah I don't like that one I don't like that one I don't like that one I don't like that one at all and you know what every time every time every time every time

Starting point is 00:28:06 Yeah. In fact, they got 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, and you know how hard it is to get a high percentage rating from a movie on Rotten Tomatoes? Yep. That lets you know he put his foot in this movie. Michael B. Jordan was phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Yes. Haley Steinfeld, like I said, I'm like, okay, where are they going with this? You know, smoking stack come back. What's the guy's name? He goes to church and he got the broken gift. But anyway, I'm all over the place. Okay, I'm like here and I'm like here. You got to pay attention too now.

You know, and I've always been a fan of his.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Michael B. Jordan, I like Michael B. Jordan. Fruitvale Station. Oscar Grant. He played that man. Michael B. Jordan played that. Oh, he played. He played it. He played that role.
Starting point is 00:29:40 You know, obviously you see him in Creed and you remember him in Black Panther. But Michael B. Jordan. You know, obviously you see him in Creed and you remember him in Black Panther. But Michael B. Jordan. You know what? It kind of reminds you of a young Spike Lee Denzel. You know, a lot of Spike Lee. Everything they did together.
Starting point is 00:29:56 The chemistry. Yeah. It's perfect. Yes. Because you know what you're getting. Who would have known what he was getting out of Michael B. Jordan? And he always puts him
Starting point is 00:30:03 in the best positions to highlight his strengths yes and he cuts a fool every time ain't nobody told y'all I have the movie take y'all ass
Starting point is 00:30:14 to see the movie cheap asses ain't nobody told y'all I have the movie y'all don't know nothing y'all don't know no character all y'all know

Oh, so I was a big, big a big big movie fan when i say i was a guy go to the movies now i bet y'all ain't nobody i've got i've seen six movies in one day that's the record that's the most movies i've done now i was routine a c2 but i saw six i went to the movie at about 10 50 and i didn't get home until after midnight. Wait, when was this? 1996. So, can I tell you, can I ask you,
Starting point is 00:31:10 can I tell you, I'm going to ask you if you did this, did you pay for one movie? I paid for one movie. And then wait, and then go on the next one? Yep. Okay. I'm just making sure I don't feel bad because I did that as well.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I never forget. I'm not sure we have any people in the chat. Remember, you remember the Omni, the Omni hotel, the movie. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:32 By the Miami Herald center. Hey, I, I am one who also did that pay, pay for one ticket and waited to go into another theater to see another. Yeah. Cut it. When nobody would have believed that.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Come on, bro. Y'all think I snuck in here? Yeah, I did. Hey, do they still have dollar movies? I remember you. Hey, y'all remember the dollar movies? It's 2025, man.
Starting point is 00:31:55 You know it ain't no dollar movies. Okay, what about like the old movies? So maybe like $3 then. How much is a matinee? About $12, maybe. Chad, how much is a matinee? About $12, maybe. Chad, how much is a matinee? Yeah, while you're bulljabbing. But I want to go to the movie though,
Starting point is 00:32:13 because I hadn't been to the movie since. Right. Maybe the pandemic. I think I've been one time since the pandemic. Pandemic messed up everything. It did. Not just a movie,
Starting point is 00:32:22 you got to go to Cinebistro. Oh, I go to Cinebistro. Okay, okay, okay. We to Cinebistro. Oh, I go to Cinebistro. Okay, okay, okay. We got Cinebistro. I go to I-Pick, too. I-Pick. I-Pick, yeah. Got the reclining chairs.
Starting point is 00:32:31 They used to give you hot popcorn to charge your ass for that. And a blanket and a pillow. Mm-hmm. Yeah. But, hey, just because they give you a blanket and a pillow, people, don't bring your ass in there with pajamas, really. Don't do it too much come on now hey man that uh that that center bistro in in miami i think is it dolphin mall yeah by dolphin
Starting point is 00:32:54 mall uh oh my god the food i have not been there one time man they bring you the popcorn like you just said i think it might have been calamari no it was popcorn maybe it's popcorn and calamari yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah they say uh matinee is like between five and seven dollars and what and what what we're at matinee how much a man they cost y'all nah five and seven dollars 2025 they tripping. And I tell you what, I got to cut off time. I can't see no late movie. 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock, no midnight movie because you know I didn't have
Starting point is 00:33:31 the midnight show. Like a lot of times, the Marvel movies, they'll start at midnight on Thursday. Man, I ain't going up in no movie at no damn midnight. Man, I'm going to sleep. Yep, you sleep.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Yep. Nah, hey, give me a good, hey. Ocho, is the correct way to go about it? Do you go to the movie and go to dinner or do you go to dinner and then go to the movie? No, you go, you go to the movie first. You go, you go to the movie. The movie is your main course. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:01 The main course in a sense. And then dinner is, okay, let's talk about the movie. So it gives you something to talk about at dinner on top of whatever topics you also want to discuss. Yeah. A lot of people, a lot of, you know, used to be the thing. You take a lady to dinner. I mean, take her to the movies. But, you know, now women don't like to go to the movie because it's like, it's all dark.
Starting point is 00:34:22 You can't talk. I'm like, okay, you're right. You're you're right you're right you know what's funny anything i'm trying to think how you say it coffee dates they don't like movie dates they don't like anything where conversation is to be had, they don't like. No. Yeah. Listen, I can't do dinner in a movie. Because if I get dinner and you go to the movie, you're going to be watching it by yourself.
Starting point is 00:34:56 The only thing I'm watching is the back of my eyelids. Lee? Yeah, sir. Yeah, I tried it one time. You know, I'm like, oh, let's go to the movie. Let's go to dinner and go to the movie. Okay. Hey, hold on.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Wait, hold on. What if it's a good movie, though? Hey, my body don't know if it's good or not. All I know is my body know it's tired. I don't got that. Man, it's some stuff that is just exciting.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Do you remember that feeling? I don't know if you saw it. When Troy came out, when 300 came out. Oh, yeah. Braveheart. Yeah. When Gladiator came out. Man.
Starting point is 00:35:39 Yeah. Rough. Them movies was. Oh, dog. And 300. Yeah. You remember the movie 300? Yeah, yeah, Them movies was... Sparta. And 300. Yeah. You remember the movie 300? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:48 This is Sparta. Hey, that's... I use that. All right, I'm not going to bring that. I've been clean all show. I'm not going to say that. Hey, man. Oh, Joe, man.
Starting point is 00:35:56 I don't get out of it. Hey. Man, hey. Them lights go down. Yeah. Them chairs laid back. Yeah. They try to tell me something. Okay, okay, okay. I see where you're going with it. I see where you're going with it. Yeah. No chair laid back. Yeah. They try to tell me something.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Okay, okay, okay. I see where you're going with it. I see where you're going with it. Okay. You sleep? No, I'm watching. And another thing, Coach, look here. Maybe it's just me. Yeah. Ocho, long as they're like
Starting point is 00:36:24 when the lights are up. Yes, sir. Talk. Oh, Johnny, I love what you've done. Yeah, me and Helen, we went to SAG. Oh, my God. It's beautiful up there. Talk as much as you want.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Okay. Lights come down. Now you know how people are going to talk through the movie now. Hey, I'm going to see any Tyler Perry movie. I'm going to see that or matinee. Yeah. Tell her, child. Hey, child. I'm going to see that at a matinee. Yeah. Tell it, child. Hey, child.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I wish I would. All through the movie. Yes. All through the movie. That's classic. That's us, though. That's us. It's going to be in the... Man, y'all, you can't...
Starting point is 00:37:19 Listen. Stop talking during the movie. Please. I don't know somebody got I mean now look each of us I ain't got no problem
Starting point is 00:37:35 because I was me and I went to me and I was in New York only time I went to the movie me and the camera guy we were really cool Freddy Shimizu
Starting point is 00:37:42 so we you know we back there we eat the popcorn yeah do a turnaround uh how much longer you gonna be that i looked him up i said what the f would you chew it loud or something first of all so what am I supposed to do I chew like I chew man ain't nobody chewing no popcorn
Starting point is 00:38:23 hey that's funny I chew like I chew. Man, ain't nobody chewing no popcorn. Hey, that's funny. I mean, what? I'm just trying to figure out how am I supposed... Popcorn is not something that's silent. Right, right. It's like a chip. How do you eat chip? So what am I supposed to do?
Starting point is 00:38:41 Just put the chip in my mouth and let it melt? Well, hold on. He shouldn't have been able to hear you eating popcorn if the movie's planned anyway. I don't know what he was talking about. He was talking about how much longer you're going to do. I'm looking at my bucket of popcorn until it's gone. When it's gone, I'll stop. Better please, baby.
Starting point is 00:39:00 But I ain't been to the movie. I want to go to the movie. I'm going to get out. I'm going to get to the movie. What I need to see to the, I'm going to get out. I'm going to get to a movie. What I need to see. What's up? I don't saw,
Starting point is 00:39:08 I don't saw a, a, a, a sinner. So I can't go see that. Is there anything else I worth seeing guys? I sinners is good enough to see twice. They'd be talking about y'all talking about what you call them. I told you,
Starting point is 00:39:23 you know what? You know what? Right. Hey, Ryan came on and he said, when we come to the Superbowl next year, They be talking about, y'all talking about what you call them. I told you. You know what? You know what? Matt Dainey, but $13. Hey, Ryan came on, and he said, when we come to the Super Bowl next year, because we are taking nightcap on the road going to the Super Bowl, he going to join us. You know what, Ocho? I'm going to go get him.
Starting point is 00:39:37 I think the movie's like $27. I think it's like $27, $28. Yeah. I said, man, I remember back in the day, $1.50, $3, you and your girl went to the movies. Mm-hmm. And you could take your girl to the movies. She'd get a big old bag of, y'all would share a bucket of popcorn. You can get candy and sodas for like $10, $12.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Yeah. And you know what? Sinners is the perfect movie. I doubt it, Chad. Y'all could probably help me and let me know. It's a movie that you can see more than once. But the perfect place to see Centers, if they do it, is at a drive-in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:14 The perfect movie for a drive-in theater. It is. Yeah. I like it. It's definitely worth seeing. It's definitely worth seeing. I think Michael B. Jordan did an unbelievable job. So if y'all get an opportunity, man, go out there and check out Sanders, man.
Starting point is 00:40:30 He did an unbelievable job. No, y'all laughing, but I think our pick is like $27, $28. It was, I mean, that was like five years ago. I pick a little pricey now. As a matter of fact, on Saturday night, Ash, it was like $32. On a Saturday night, because that was like New Movies Prime. Yeah. I still got a lot of passes.
Starting point is 00:40:51 But the passes they had, oh, you can't use them for new releases. But then what the hell y'all keep giving me? Tell me, Paul. Hey, is Magic Johnson Theater still there right off of Crenshaw and Stocker, or it's gone? Don't start me to lie. Only time I'm out of that nigga's world is when I'm hitting the sofa.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Right. Hey, Chad, is anybody in LA in the chat? Is Magic Johnson Theater still right there off of Crenshaw and Stocker? I think it's $26. How much is it on the weekend?
Starting point is 00:41:33 Really? Well, they've been getting old because they charge me more than that on the weekend. I think you got to pay senior citizen discount. I mean, no? they ain't got that. Uh, they changed the real deal. But I do got, uh,
Starting point is 00:41:55 you get AR, AR, ARP card at what? 50? 55? I ain't got one. I ain't got one. I ain't got one. I take that got one. I ain't got one.
Starting point is 00:42:07 I take that discount. Hey, Sizzlers, IHOP. Let me go eat. Hey. Yeah, let me get to my pancakes. IHOP, real deal. Two, two, and two. That's my go-to at IHOP. Brown's GM, Andrew Barry, spoke about Alabama draft draft prospect jaylen milrow let's take a listen
Starting point is 00:42:28 what he had to say you know jaylen he's got rare physical talent um you know he may may be the only when he gets in the nfl he may be the only quarterback who's faster than than lamar um don't tell lamar i said that please uh that, please. He's got rare physical gifts. You know, he's strong, he's fast, he's got a really strong arm. And any system that you build around him, you want to take advantage of the fact that he has things that no other players
Starting point is 00:42:58 at the position have. Wow. Oh, Joe. Is he, should he, will he, should he, will he, can he be a day one quarterback? And do you think he's faster than Lamar Jackson? No, don't compare anybody to Lamar Jackson. He's disrespectful. He's disrespectful just because he has the attributes and he runs straight. He runs straight in a fast line.
Starting point is 00:43:31 You know, that's, I mean, honestly, no, don't do that. Lamar Jackson is fast laterally. He's fast going backwards. It's different. Lamar Jackson is different. And even putting him in a conversation, Jalen Monroe is great as he is. He's great as he is. I watched him at Alabama.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Phenomenal dude. I love what he's doing. He's going to have the opportunity to change someone's franchise. Hopefully he gets the opportunity to do so because obviously the Browns have done not so much of a good job at picking quarterbacks for a very, very long time. But it's mad disrespectful, even in a joking manner, to compare Jalen Monroe to Lamar Jackson.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Outside of that. He just compared the speed, nothing else. Yeah, I mean, don't even do that part either. Don't even do that part. Because the game is more. What did he run the 40? What did Merrill run the 40 in? Because Lamar really didn't run the 40.
Starting point is 00:44:30 I don't think Lamar ran the 40, even at his pro day. No. Look, a lot of people believe that Lamar, I believe in a 40. Michael Vick, the fastest quarterback I ever seen. I know Michael Vick went to the combine and ran 4-3-3. Yeah. So until somebody run a quarterback run a 4-3-3 at the combine, Michael Vick the fastest.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Yeah. Vick was different, boy. When that boy took off. Lamar ran a 4-3-4. Now, that pro day time and combine time is different. Yeah, two different worlds. That's why. So if Michael Vick ran 4-3-3 at the combine,
Starting point is 00:45:04 he running 4-2 at pro day. It's so funny. Lamar ran low 4-3s. 4-3-4. Yeah, Jalen ran high 4-3s. 4-3-7. And then he says, faster than Lamar Jackson. Like, what are we doing?
Starting point is 00:45:22 Do you need to do your homework? You should not do your homework. Come on, man. Yeah. Lamar, Lamar, Lamar's speed is a very, is a very, he got rare speed.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Yeah. I mean, you know, you look at him, you look at Vic, they got, they got rare speed. Kyler, now Kyler,
Starting point is 00:45:44 Kyler needs a little longer leg that he might run forward to because he's going to take, in 20 yards, he's going to take 400 steps. Hey, he be moving though, boy. Oh yeah, oh yeah. He be moving. And because he don't have that long stride, so it don't take long for him to get going.
Starting point is 00:46:00 Uh-huh. Coach Prime made a very interesting admission on his We Got Time Today podcast. Time was asked about habits and it took a turn for the response. I've never in my life pleasured myself. God is my witness. In Jesus' name, I'm telling you the God's honest truth. My next statement is going to sound arrogant.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Never had to. I went time on that one. You never had to? Nope. Well, listen, I... I hear that song when I say I touch myself when nobody's around me.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Yeah. I know anybody else when I think about you. Nah, that ain't me. When I think about you, I... No, that ain't me. Can I tell you something? Yeah. Chat, and we family fellas, I don't know if y'all have done this before,
Starting point is 00:46:54 but, and listen, I'm not ashamed, but sometimes in my younger days, when I would know I would be going to see somebody or I would know someone would be going to see somebody or I would know someone would be coming to me, I would have to do that and hurry me get one out the way to ensure that I last longer. Nah. I'm just telling you, it was a tactic. It was a strategy that I use and it worked to make sure to ensure that, you know, I wasn't, you know, two minutes or three minutes of where it might have been if I went in there fresh. So I got one out the way.
Starting point is 00:47:33 So when she came in, I was able to show out. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Oh, no. Oh, no. The old sparks will make you show out. I'm talking about way back in 94 or 95. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:47 No, Ocho, you going to get this? Hey, you going to get this hot dog in the microwave? Two minutes, it's exploding. I'm sorry. You done hit it with the Bernie Mac? If you don't get mine when don't get mad when i get here if you don't get yours when i get mad you fresh out of you know what with me hey 100 meter dash usain bolt tyson gay uh johan blake justin gatlin you ain't got nothing to prove huh

Starting point is 00:52:10 And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask Attorney General... I'm Leon Nafak, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. Brandon Jacobs, the former Giant running back, had the internet and confession. Y'all want to know something about that brother that bothers me? I'm 42 years old, and I regret losing my virginity to the person I lost it to.
Starting point is 00:53:24 It means nothing, but I wish it was for another person other than her. That's cute. That's cute. It's enjoyable to sit back and think about the person you lost your virginity to. I can't even, honestly, can you remember who you lost your virginity to after all this time? 1,000%. 1,000. I wish, I can't remember.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Honestly, I wish I could. I wish, I mean, matter of fact, if someone happens to see this and you remember or recall that time when you took my virginity.
Starting point is 00:54:00 You weren't her first. No, I wasn't. Absolutely not. No, she was about, I mean, the lady took my virginity you weren't her first no i wasn't absolutely not no she was about i mean the lady took my virginity was about let me see i was i was 27 i think she was 65 yeah yeah so i i had one you know real c she was seasoned what i did some things i never saw before you know she me in a swing. She had me in a swing, right? She had me in a swing, and it hung off the door. And she tied me up in a swing and climbed up on the ladder and got on. I'm like, man, what in the world?
Starting point is 00:54:38 And I thought this is what it would be like all the time. And it wasn't like that all the time and it wasn't like that all the time and she just she she you know my for to be my first experience i was almost traumatized until i learned to navigate my way around and and add what she did to me to my repertoire to where when people wanted to sleep with me during my tenure of fun it was known as an experience, not just sex. Mm. Yeah. Oh, that's what they thought, huh? Yeah, it was an experience. In my day?
Starting point is 00:55:11 In my day? Call it whatever y'all want to. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A. What? Hey, Sid? Uh, uh, AD gave it his all, just like I do when I go to work, but it wasn't enough. My question is, which basketball player in the 90s had 20 plus points, but in losing effort and no Ocho isn't cheating what player in the 90s had 20 plus points average 20
Starting point is 00:55:51 average 20 plus points in a losing effort there are a lot of guys average 20 I mean considering Jordan won 6 Jordan won 6 the Rockets won two. They, it wasn't but another one to be booked in.
Starting point is 00:56:09 So you got the Pistons and the Pistons won 90. And, and what you call them? San Antonio, won 99. So, they won 14.
Starting point is 00:56:21 They won the title in the 90s. Detroit started it off. San Antonio closed it. And then you had Jordan, 91, 92, 93. You had the Rockets, 94, 95. Jordan, 96, 97, 98. Spurs, 99.
Starting point is 00:56:42 And you got Shaq. Hmm. and you got Shaq hmm so oh well Mike Brown hey do you think Lakers regret not taking Mark Williams how well he finished the season what's up Ocho 30 well he finished the season? What's up, Ocho305Legend? Scott Project, baby.
Starting point is 00:57:08 Oh, what's up? What? I discussed, man. That's live. Let's hope they don't regret taking Mark Williams because he did. He played well. He played unbelievable. And Luka loves lob threats.
Starting point is 00:57:22 That's why it worked so well with him and Gafford. It worked so well with him and Gafford. It worked so well with him and Lively the second. He loves a lob threat because he's going to get into the lane and when the big guy come to help, he can follow it to him. Boom. Mike, I hope not. I hope not. And he's a very good defender.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Sheldon Pope, happy Easter and 420. Huck, if Joker pull out this second championship, will he join the John as the great Denver sports icon? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:55 Yes. What's the hockey player name? Which one? Oveskin? No, no, no. With the abs. They won the title. What's his name? Ray Bork.
Starting point is 00:58:10 I think Bork won the title for the Avs. Didn't they win the title? I think they won in 98. 96. Wasn't it 1996? Wasn't it Ray Bork? Patty Waugh Patrick Waugh was the goalie in that
Starting point is 00:58:50 I knew no and he had the all time wins record who was the defenseman for the Avalanche why was Ray Bork on the team? just google Ray Bork ok well he wasn't there then well uh Sackett they had a redhead

Starting point is 00:59:37 ah, man, pause. This is what Adam wrote, not me. They're long and big on the perimeter. Damn, man. You put a lot up into that one, huh? Al's bench is way better than the Lakers. Key is going to be Naz Reed. I like the Lakers.
Starting point is 00:59:56 I like the Lakers. I think the three heads of A.R., Luca, and LeBron, I think that's going to be more. Look, Ant going to get what he gonna get yep but keep Drew Randall under control and don't let Naz Rees beat you

Starting point is 01:01:36 there's nothing wrong with PNG. Obviously, I'm a Barca fan. I'm not much of a Real Madrid fan. I'm a Napoli guy at heart. But I got Arsenal winning it all, honestly. Honestly. P&G is playing well as well, but Arsenal's playing lights out right now.
