Starting point is 00:03:22 terms, and responsible gaming resources. Ocho, so now let's get back. The Lions offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson, has agreed to a deal to become the Chicago Bears next head coach. Johnson has been the Lions offensive coordinator for the past three seasons. And if I'm not mistaken, I think they finish in the top five in offense each of those seasons. He will fill the job vacated by Matt Eberflus when they fired him on November 29th. Johnson will become the 19th head coach in the 105-year franchise existence.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Ocho, do you like the hire? You got damn right I like the hire. You got damn right. Now, listen, we talk about Ben Johnson now. We talk about Ben Johnson that worked wonders with Jared Goff, worked wonders offensively with that offense. The creativity that has amazed all of us all season long. Now, we know Dan Campbell loves to go four on four down. Why do you think
Starting point is 00:04:26 he's so confident in doing some of the things he does as a head coach? Because of Ben Johnson and what he's able to do. So I look at it from this standpoint.
Starting point is 00:04:35 You got Jameson Williams. You got Amon Ross St. Brown. You got Laporta. Now, you go to another supporting cast in Chicago that different skill sets, but they get the job done very well.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Right. You have a great quarterback, dual threat quarterback, who's a little bit more mobile, a little bit more agile, can play off script a little better than golf. And Caleb Williams. He's a good thrower of the ball as well. This is going to be a perfect relationship, not only for Ben Johnson, but for Caleb Williams and his career. I guarantee you. And I'm going to put it out there right now. And it's going to be a I told you so moment when the season starts. And we're about we're in about maybe week seven or week eight.
Starting point is 00:05:15 And I'll be like, I told you so. Caleb Williams being one of the top quarterbacks in the league statistically because of Ben Johnson and his creativity and his offensive prowess. I like the hire. I like the hire also. But what I don't like, Chicago and New England doing that fake stuff, bring black coaches in there when they know damn well they're not going to hire. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They brought Eddie George in there. And, you know, look, you got to take it.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Yeah, yeah. You know damn well they won't. Excuse me., you know, look, you got to take it. Yeah. Yeah. You know damn well they want. Excuse me. But you know good and de-well. You know good and de-well. You wanted Ben Johnson. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:59 But, Ocho, hey, the Rooney rule. I got to get that quota. Same thing in New England. New England, y'all brought two Blacks. Y'all brought Pep Hamilton in. Y'all brought this other Black. You know good and well. Yeah. Byron in New England. New England, y'all brought two Blacks. Y'all brought Pep Hamilton in. Y'all brought this other Black. You know good and well Byron Lethbridge. Y'all know good. First of all, Byron Lethbridge been out of the
Starting point is 00:06:11 league for what, two years? And y'all gonna bring him in. Now he ain't got no office according to him, but y'all brought him in. And see y'all, what y'all did, the Patriots did that thing so good, they brought two of them in. Ooh, ooh. Ooh, they brought two of them. Yeah. I two of them yeah i mean listen they have they have to check the boxes um they they gotta they gotta check the boxes like you said they gotta you gotta
Starting point is 00:06:32 meet the quota you have to satisfy the rule that's in place that's really not working ain't got no to it um but and but look i like the hire i like ben Johnson. I like what he did. You mentioned it. He has a quarterback that's more mobile. He has very good look. You got Roman Dunes that he took in the first round for the Bears. You got DJ Moore that you signed to a contract extension. You got Keenan Allen. I think Keenan Allen's a free agent, so you probably bring him back
Starting point is 00:06:57 because he came on strong at the end of the year. He's that guy that he's not as fast. He's not as quick as Amon Raw in the slot, but he gets it done. He got tremendous moves. He got great hands. I like him. He's a big body.
Starting point is 00:07:11 He can body you up. So I like that. I like that. I don't really know their running back situation. You're going to have to improve the offensive line because that's one thing. DeAndre Swift, offensive line, you're going to probably get better because you look at what they got. And,
Starting point is 00:07:26 uh, and, and Detroit, you know, you got Penn, they saw who the pro bowler, all pro you got Zyler, you got deck,
Starting point is 00:07:32 uh, you got glass. Now you got Decker, you got Ragnar, you got, you know, Detroit has a very good offensive line. And so you're going to have to get that up to par in Chicago because your
Starting point is 00:07:42 quarterback took 60 plus sacks. That's too many. Oh, Joe, that's way too plus sacks. That's too many, Ocho. That's way too many sacks. Now, all of it is not on the offensive line. Caleb Williams is going to have to do a better job of getting rid of the football. It's okay to throw it away. Because sometimes I think, guys, they get caught up, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:07:58 well, I'm going to mess up my completion percentage. Bro, throw that damn ball away. You don't want to be taking all those hits. Right, right. But I like the hire. i'm sure they got they got money and and and cap space that they can improve this team i love the hire by ben johnson uh i got no qualms about that hire uh he's put his time in as an offensive uh as an offensive coordinator as an offensive coach i think it was right it was the right time to for him to get this job. So I really like the hire. I'm a little surprised that he went in the
Starting point is 00:08:28 same division as his former boss. Normally they get away, Ocho, but hey, that was the best situation. I always thought the Bears, for me, that was the best situation that was available to me. I mean, other people, people like the Raiders, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:43 Tom Brady played quarterback. Ain't none of them over there, you know, because Tom Brady didn't play a quarterback. Ain't none of the work over there, huh? No. Ain't got no quarterback. No. Yeah, so you understood that that was the best fit,
Starting point is 00:08:53 especially for him and what he brings to the table. Yeah, I thought that was the best. I thought that the Jets, you got the Jets situation. You got a lot of stuff going on with the Jets. What other job is available, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:09:04 The Jets was available. The Saints. The Saints. Hopefully, A.G. get the Saints or the Jets. I know, I think he know. Obviously, A.G. played with the Jets. Haley played with the Saints also. He was on the defensive staff.
Starting point is 00:09:19 He was on Sean Payton's staff when he was at the Saints. But hopefully, he gets one of these jobs. But it's going to be tough without a quarterback. You got to find a quarterback, Coach O. Without that, you don't really have a chance to have longevity. Your lease is going to be short. Lease is very short if you ain't got no quarterback. Well, our lease is short anyway.
Starting point is 00:09:39 But anyway, that's not what's there. We'll talk about that another day. But I like the hire. I like Ben Johnson hire. Chicago should be good. That's a very tough division, Ocho. We'll see what Minnesota does with Sam Darnall. Do they move on or do they elevate J.J. McCarthy?
Starting point is 00:10:03 Going to be very interesting because you got Jordan Love, you got golf, you got Caleb Williams. So, I like it. I like it. Ocho,
Starting point is 00:10:11 now that the season has ended, Cooper Cupp doesn't know whether he'll be back with the Rams. Cupp said today he has no doubt he'll play in 24, but there is doubt
Starting point is 00:10:20 whether it's going to be with the Rams and tend to keep him. Cupp, who knows what's going to happen. That's out of my control and I'll see what it's going to be with the Rams intend to keep him. Cup, who knows what's going to happen. That's out of my control. And I'll see what it's going to be. I don't have any clarity
Starting point is 00:10:29 on what's that going to look like or anything like that. So yeah, obviously, would love to be in LA, but I don't know what that's going to look like. Matthew Stafford also said he wanted to take some time to mull his future after playoff loss. Man, I think, what you call him,
Starting point is 00:10:45 got a big cap. What, Cooper, Cooper Cup. I think, what is it, like $21, $22 million?
Starting point is 00:10:51 Who that? Cooper Cup. Oh, yeah. He has to take a big cut anyway if he does want to stay in LA. Listen, they've already worked, they've already,
Starting point is 00:10:57 remember how we got talked about chat, you know, earlier with some of the top players in the league. They always find a way to work you out the system and the opportunities.
Starting point is 00:11:05 You don't get the opportunity that you used to. We talk about a triple crown winner that all of a sudden last year, Poole Nakua comes out of nowhere and he's playing all over the world. Because they move you around and they work you out the system and put somebody else in the position and the players that you used to make. That's all it is. That's all it is. It's plug and play. It's plug and play. It's plug and play.
Starting point is 00:11:26 It's the game that they play toward the end of your career when they think you don't have it no more or when your number is too high and they want you to take a big cut. So now, there's no argument
Starting point is 00:11:36 that Cup can have and go to management and be like, well, hell, I'm a triple crown runner. The first thing they'll say, but look at your numbers this year. Your numbers don't want... You were a triple crown winner. The first thing they'll say, but look at your numbers this year. Your numbers don't want to count.
Starting point is 00:11:46 You were a Triple Crown winner. That's not what you are now. This ain't a lifetime achievement. We're going to pay you back. See, and that's the thing where people get the mistake. I'm paying you on what I believe you'll do moving forward. I already paid you for that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:59 I paid you for that, Ocho. Yeah. So now I got to, like Jamar Chase. Jamar Chase, the Triple Crown. crown hey y'all got that no y'all need to pay me on what y'all believe i can do moving forward now i'm only 25 26 years of age i think over the next four or five years i can put up similar numbers i'm not saying i'm gonna win the triple crown because we haven't had since the merger we haven't had a two-time triple crown winner now i'm proud of that you know don h Don Hudson won a bunch of them. But that's neither
Starting point is 00:12:26 here nor there. But I'm saying, I'm paying Jamar Chase on what I believe he'll do. Now, based on that, Jamar Chase needs to be north of $35 million right at $40. Maybe he says, I want $40. I want $40 million. I want $200 million and I need $100 of it guaranteed
Starting point is 00:12:41 because I think the most guaranteed money might have been Jetta. I think Jetta got like 80 something million fully guaranteed. Right. I want a hundred because y'all made me play when I could have gotten injured.
Starting point is 00:12:54 I had to take out an insurance policy so I had to spend money out of my pocket. So I need y'all to give me, hey, what old dude told him on Snaggertooth, dude on Harlem Night, I want everything you took in tonight and everything you took in last week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Oh, man. Man, look, Matthew Stafford's not going anywhere. See, that's what you, when you want another big play date, that's what you like, yeah, I'm going to take some time. Come on, man. Don't go nowhere. We got 50 million for you for three years. Come on, Ochoa, man.
Starting point is 00:13:26 You know how to play the game. Yeah, but listen, they know better. And Matthew Stafford knows that. There is no answer. There is no backup. There is no resolve if he does want to walk. So what's the first thing they have to do? Every team is in dire need of a quarterback.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Now we're talking about a Super Bowl champion? Let him go? Oh, absolutely not. Well, they did draft Stetson Bennett, Ocho. They took Stetson Bennett, I think, in the fourth round out of Georgia. Two times. Ocho, I'm just saying now. Ocho, they took him in the fourth
Starting point is 00:13:57 round for a reason. They didn't take him as an ornament. They didn't take him as decoration. So you want people to get fired then, huh? I don't, I'm just telling you. Do you think
Starting point is 00:14:10 do they draft do they draft players for decorations? No. They don't? Why did the Patriots draft Jimmy Garoppolo? And what happened?
Starting point is 00:14:21 I'm just saying what happened. Why did they draft him? Yeah, we know why they drafted him, but you see what happened? I'm just saying what happened. Why did they draft him? Yeah, we know why they drafted him, but you see what happened, right? Sometimes you can make the decision based on you drafted him right in the fourth round, but then you see the product on the field in certain situations in the preseason
Starting point is 00:14:37 and in practice and already know, you know what? It don't matter what you're making right now, staff. We bringing you back because we know we can't count on what's here but even if you don't Ocho you just told me what they need what they need in Las Vegas
Starting point is 00:14:52 a quarterback now Derek Carr says he's not taking a pay cut or anything like that he's got like 52 million Garrett he got 52 million cap here I like Matthew Stafford He got like 52 million, Garrett. He got 52 million cap here. Ooh. I like Matthew Stafford.
Starting point is 00:15:10 There's no no, no, not A. But Matthew Stafford is better than Derek Carr. I'm just telling you the truth. Right. And the situation of it. And the J the situation and the Jets. Could the Jets use a quarterback? Ooh.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Now, now, now we're talking. Now you make it a little sense. You see it. You see it. Pittsburgh. Are you so,
Starting point is 00:15:41 you don't, you don't seem to be sold on Russ. I mean, some people like, like, Fields, uh, uh, uh, Fields, Justin Fields. I like Fields too, but Cleveland, how would Matthew Stafford look at Cleveland? For a couple of years and you draft a quarterback and you let one of these quarterbacks risk a couple of years behind him and do hey take this thing over
Starting point is 00:16:05 so Matthew Stafford's gonna have options see that's the thing that you have the more options that you have is oh Joe it's just like a relationship yeah the more options a woman have the harder the guy gotta come to impress her if you ain't got
Starting point is 00:16:21 no options the guy if you got options, you make it $10 million, $15 million, $30 million a year. You got options. The dude that ain't got no options, bro, you got to take whatever like you, you got to like her.
Starting point is 00:16:41 You get my age, you got a few options. They like they used to be, you know, they don't joke. They ain't the options I used to have when I was 35 or when I was 37. You boy about to be 50. So,
Starting point is 00:16:54 you know, everyone, and you know, your, your, got to get a straggler if necessary. You don't say it on show. I can go keep it one final with y'all. Yeah. Fellas. Hey, I got to get a straggler if necessary. You know what I'm saying, don't you? I can go keep it one-sided with y'all, fellas.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Hey, I'm going to be honest with y'all, chat. I ain't got it like that. So I just got to be honest. Once upon a time, O'Shea had options. You know, I'm all muscular, dieseled up, abbed up everywhere. You know what I'm saying, don't you? Making good money. But I was in about 20s.
Starting point is 00:17:25 I was talking about 30s. It ain't the same no more? Mm-mm. No. No. You know what I'm saying? Hey. So, hey, Ocho, sometimes, you know, what you like.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Right. The ones that got the booty, you know, on the shelf, they're sitting up there. Right, right. You know what I'm saying? Right. You know, nice, tight, you know? Yeah, talk to me now. Hey, I'll be on Instagram. I'll see them ones like that that come up on my explore play. I'll just go ahead and
Starting point is 00:17:57 scroll on up. I know y'all ain't even looking at them 57-year-olds, so let me go and look at a watch. Let me look at a watch. Let me look at a car. Something that I got to, at least I got
Starting point is 00:18:10 a chance to get it. Right, right, right. You know what's said it best, Ocho? Every man got to know his limitations. Yeah, yeah. I listen.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Listen, it's one thing about knowing your limitations, but it's also understanding that they don't know no better.
Starting point is 00:18:25 They don't know no better. They don't know no better. Okay? You have to understand, those that they're going to give an opportunity to, they're competing with everybody else at a chance to be the main. And most of the time,
Starting point is 00:18:38 you never will be the main because the guys you chasing are guys that have a roster and a hair of milk with me. And they got choices oh poor hustler like oh they call me you know they call me the poor hustler back in the day right yeah yeah i ain't got no monsters like that right you know what i'm saying oh y'all want them old cars yes sir roll down the window right you know what i'm saying you know i ain't got all
Starting point is 00:18:59 them surround sound bowls a hardened carman you know 14 speakers in the car and all that stuff i ain't got no defrost to see. I ain't got no thing to, you know, massage my back. I ain't got all the options on me. Yeah. Listen, age plays a factor now. I don't think people understand. But listen, especially when it comes to women, too, and fellas, if you're going to get it and get it done, you got to get it done early.
Starting point is 00:19:26 When you start hitting your 30s, you hit 35, and you hit 40, and thinking you still got the options you had when you were younger. Oh, no. Oh, no, honey. You ain't no sitting line.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Hey, brother, I been 40. I been 40. Yeah. I don't care how fine you is. I don't care how good you think you look. You still ain't got the box like you once had
Starting point is 00:19:43 when you was in your 20s. Uh-uh. Uh-uh. It ain't what you think it is. Hey, Ocho, I've been in my 30s. Hey, guess what? In my 50s, I got a little bit more money than I had in my 20s and 30s. Yeah. And it's still a little hard now.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Yeah. I thought I would be a little bit even more attractive. When I got old Ben, when I got Ben and Thomas Jefferson looking on my shoulder like this here. Don't he look a little better right now? No. He's still old. So, it is what it is. Yeah. That's why, hey,
Starting point is 00:20:16 that's why I'm not, I done hung the jersey up in the rafters, man. I done hung the jersey up in the rafters. Yeah. So, look, it is what it is like i said but matthew stafford's gonna have options uh it's always nice to have options because when you got options that means you don't have to settle because a lot of times don't show you ain't got no option you got to settle and you know what i've noticed when people don't when people realize
Starting point is 00:20:42 that you don't have options they give you their butt to kiss oh yeah oh yeah when they feel when they feel like oh what you gonna do you dependent on me with this financial or whatever whatever kind of support that you can offer that they don't feel you can get anywhere else man boy look here yeah that's That's why you always got to stay two steps ahead, huh? You always got to stay two steps ahead. I can't stay two. I got to stay even with him because he won't let me move two steps too fast, old Joe. I got to stay.
Starting point is 00:21:17 I can't even get a head up, old Joe. I just stay. So I see them start to get a little head up. I'm like, okay. That means you about to pull a move on up I'm like okay that mean you about to you about to pull a pull a move on me and get on up out of here
Starting point is 00:21:29 okay I tried it for a while it lasted hell nah I mean you do what you gotta do Ocho I ain't
Starting point is 00:21:37 I ain't no I ain't what I used to be I ain't what I used to be Ocho oh hey them was some good days just think about Oh, hey, there was some good days. Just think about it, though, bro. There was. And some good days.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Was, ooh. I, it's not getting old, Ocho. It's not getting old, but I showed him. You got me jogging. You got my memory.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I'm jogging through my memory and just thinking about, you know, down memory lane and, you know, I still got a little kick to me, you know. But. Gee, isn't it funny how time just slips all the way.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Yeah. And you can't get it back now. No, no, no. You can't get it back. You can't get it back. Dang. Well, I had my run. I had a little night. You know what I'm saying? Hey, I had I had my run
Starting point is 00:22:25 I had a little night you know what I'm saying hey I had a good oh I had a good run night oh till once upon a time I was Usain Bolt Usain Bolt
Starting point is 00:22:32 for a period of time with a phantom man for 12 years stretch he's the phantom man of the world yes sir that time I'm alone with somebody else hey I did what I did
Starting point is 00:22:40 I did what I could it ain't like that old fool nah Shay you know my brother called me Shan. Old Shan, old Chateau. You know, they called me, my teammates used to call me Chateau. Yeah. Old Chateau can't do it no more.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Nah. Listen, I ain't out there to the passage yet. I ain't that far gone. More money. I'm out there grazing. I'm out there grazing in the grass. That's about it. But I tell you what I can do.
Starting point is 00:23:08 You know, I keep them roast farts. Look, I keep them roast farts over there. Hey, they can't tell. Hey. Hey. They're like, you took that pill? No, I ain't. What pill?
Starting point is 00:23:22 Uh-uh. That was all? I take a multivitamin. Yeah, that was all me, honey. What pill? Uh-uh. That was all? I take a multivitamin. Yeah, that was all me, honey. Yeah, yeah. Starting point is 00:29:50 You remember how they used to have them signs? Like back in Jim Crow, they said for like whites only, white water fountains only, whites dine only. Them roast barks, the ones I got, for my ding-a-ling only. So I don't know what to tell you.

Starting point is 00:30:45 Who would like to win this? I had this bet. I had this bet for about 10, 11 years. As a matter of fact, I went somewhere. They're like, you're not supposed to take that. I said, oh, I'll just leave it with me. Man, y'all have me in here cutting up, man. Hey, hold on.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Let y'all see that thing one more time. Ocho. I'm telling you. The Rose Parks. They the truth. I got my order in. I'm ready. I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:31:25 I'm going to save him from February 14th many scouts believe the Browns will take Travis Hunter number two overall and focus on a quarterback later in the draft a multitude
Starting point is 00:31:37 of NFL scouts are reportedly of the belief that there's no way Shador Sanders will play for the Browns even if the Browns were interested in picking him. There's reportedly thought among scouting circles that if Hunter were to go to Cleveland, he would have a Jim Brown type impact on the franchise.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Browns hold 33rd and 67th overall pick, which would possibly give them a potential to select Jackson Dart, Quinn Ewers, Jalen Monroe or Kyle McCord. This is going to be a franchise-changing draft for the Browns. What you thinking, Ocho? I like it. I like it. You know, their identity anyway is their defense, honestly, until you get a quarterback at the helm that can change the franchise right around
Starting point is 00:32:25 like Jaden Daniels has done, like a C.J. Stroud has done. But can you imagine Denzel Ward and goddamn Travis Hunter? I don't care if you got Denzel Ward. I don't care if you got primetime. I don't care if you got Mel Blunt. I don't care if you got Rebus.
Starting point is 00:32:40 If you cannot score, you cannot win in this league, Ochoa. Yeah, I understand. Listen, you got to start somewhere. win in this league, Ocho. Yeah, I understand. Listen, you gotta start somewhere. You gotta get it. You got to build a foundation somewhere. You gotta start somewhere. And it's been how long since they've had a quarterback? Uh,
Starting point is 00:32:54 Otto Graham. Nah. I mean, they had some good years with Bernie. You know, they had the cardiac brows with, uh, what was the guy named? Brian Sight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:09 If I'm not mistaken, I think in 1980, Sight was an MVP. But, and, you know, they had some situations. I think it was Bernie that they went to the AFC Championship games that they ended up losing to the Broncos. They lost twice to Broncos in the AFC Championship game. But's been a while that's been oh sure that's been 30 plus years ago hell that was before i got there they lost as a matter of fact they lost to the browns the year before i got there so that was 89 i got to the broncos in 90 so hell that was what 35 36 37 years ago and when i when i when i think about you talking about putting about putting
Starting point is 00:33:42 putting asses excuse me talking about putting butts in seats. They had Baker. I mean, the Baker, look, they had Baker, and Baker had a couple of good years, but they didn't have the talent around him. He got hurt. And like I said, Baker needed to move on. They didn't like, and you have to accept Baker for who he is.
Starting point is 00:34:04 He's cocky. He believes in his ability. I got no problem with that. You know, they like where we want an adult in the building. But Baker is where he should be, in Tampa, playing unbelievable football for a team that believes in him, players that believe in him. And I'm glad that he was able to. But Cleveland, you're going to have to find somebody.
Starting point is 00:34:29 You got Jerry Judy. You got Njoku. You probably need another receiver. Probably need to start looking at a running back. Offensive line is okay, but you're probably going to need to revamp your offensive line. Yeah, I agree with them. I don't know if you do it.
Starting point is 00:34:50 That's not a place you do it. We want to go. I'm not so sure our time would want him to go there. But at the end of the day, Browns, because you look within that division, you got Lamar. Lamar is going to be in Baltimore for another decade.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Joe Burrell is going to be in Baltimore for another decade. Joe Burrow is going to be in Cincinnati for another decade. Now, Pittsburgh, obviously, they're kind of like in limbo. We got to keep Russ for another year or two, or do we go ahead and transition and move to Justin Fields? But you cannot compete with just your defense trying to shut down Burrow and Lamar. You've got to have a quarterback, and you've got to have somebody that can go toe-to-toe with him.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Right. So draft is Ocho. Speaking of Jalen Milrow, he posted an image on IG saying he's in Cleveland and deleted it shortly after. Can you see the Browns drafting Milrow with the number two overall quarterback, number two overall pick? No, sir.
Starting point is 00:35:51 I can't either. No, sir. No. No, sir, and that's no disrespect to him. No. No. What about at 33 or 76? Okay, now... 33, that's the first pick in the second round 76 is probably about the second or third that'll be like the eighth or ninth that'll be like the eighth or
Starting point is 00:36:14 ninth pick 12th pick in the third round i can see early second i can see that now now that I can see, but passing up on Travis Hunter or obviously Ward or Cam, yeah, no. I agree. Ocho, a study by Oxford University researchers found that women typically have five close friends, but lose two of them when entering a new relationship due to reduced time or shifting priorities. However, those losses are often balanced by gaining a new friend, usually through their partner. Professor Robin Dunbar attributes the trend to the focused attention on a romantic relationship
Starting point is 00:36:59 demands leading to natural fading of some friendships. I mean, listen, I'm thinking I can only speak from experience. I can only speak from experience for me is regardless of any relationships I've gotten in throughout the years. My friend circle has always been the same. It's always remained the same. Didn't say women. Oh.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Okay. I see you women. Oh, okay. I see. I see you going. I see you going with this, but I think that would be hating. That would be talking about out here. Ain't nothing on you. He cheat to see y'all tribe because y'all be wanting,
Starting point is 00:37:38 y'all be trying to keep a, keep a close. Let us spend time with me. Let us spend time with old choke. And most of the time, you know what? Her friend girls, they'd be single. They'd old choke. And most of the time, you know what? Her friend girls, they be single. They be single and I, you know...
Starting point is 00:37:50 And Madcock, she won't go to the club no more with y'all. Right. Your single friends will keep those that have boyfriends or husbands single. Or try to. They want you miserable with them. They do. They give you the worst advice.
Starting point is 00:38:06 They give you the worst advice so you can be miserable with them. Mm-hmm, they do. They give you the worst advice. They give you the worst advice so you can be miserable with them. Wow. I can see that, Ocho. I do. Because, you know, all of a sudden, you know, they used to go to the club.
Starting point is 00:38:19 They go on the trip to Cancun and they go into Tulum and all that. And now, she want to spend time with her man. She want to be booed up with me. You ain't got no time. So, oh, you too good to hang out? Yep. Because I'm
Starting point is 00:38:32 in a serious relationship. I'm trying to settle down. I'm going to get married. Maybe have a kid. Hey, ain't no kid going. Ain't no kid jumping off. Maybe one. I might can squeeze out one. I don't know. You know, have to get this pipe cleaned out, a little rusty up in there. You know what I'm saying? No joke. But get that. You know, I might can squeeze out one. I don't know how to get this, you know, how to get this, this pipe cleaned out, a little rusty up in there. You don't say no joke,
Starting point is 00:38:46 but get that, you know, I might can squeeze out one. Yeah. There you go. Well, you know, you got to think especially depending on who you're dating after a while.
Starting point is 00:38:53 If you're dating after a while, you know, guys will allow their women to friend girls, go on girl trips, you know, friend girls. We go on dinner, go to,
Starting point is 00:39:02 go to outings. You know, I think that's healthy for relationships when women can still oh yeah I ain't got no problem with that
Starting point is 00:39:08 no you go hey I ain't with your girl you don't do your thing hey but just know they don't mean no good I ain't lying they
Starting point is 00:39:17 they happen you got hey you got a nice life you got a G-Wagon you got this got this big old house you go
Starting point is 00:39:24 you ain't got to work you got somebody cleaning the house three times a week you got somebody nice life you got a G-Wagon you got this got this big old house you go you ain't got to work you got somebody cleaning the house three times a week you got somebody preparing the meals hey your family taking care of
Starting point is 00:39:31 blah blah blah hey don't mess that up don't mess that up now for you to be out there like them texting three different people to make ends meet
Starting point is 00:39:41 mm-hmm alright he get the purses another one get the shoes another one get the work to make ends meet. Mm-hmm. All right. He get the purses. Another one get the shoes. Another one get the... All right. Yeah. You get flowers once a week.
Starting point is 00:39:53 You get flowers once a week. Uh-huh. Matter of fact, I done bought you a garden. So you go pick your own flowers. Mm-hmm. Man, five... Five... Girlfriend... See, women got more friends, mm-hmm man five five
Starting point is 00:40:07 girlfriend see women got more friends women normally have more friends than guys don't you yeah
Starting point is 00:40:13 yeah when I'm talking about like close friends like I'm saying like like you'll actually like talk to you know I'm saying like share things with
Starting point is 00:40:21 nah cause see for me if I tell somebody something and I hear it again I already know where it came from because I ain't talking to two people. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. See, girl, like, and see, when somebody tell me something, I'll tell you, man, can I tell you something? Okay. Before you tell me, who else have you told?
Starting point is 00:40:40 Right. Right. Because I don't want you to come and bring your ass over here and tell me, tell hell no who did you tell i ain't want to tell nobody that bull job that you told me so before you tell me who did you tell man i don't say see okay now don't tell me hey you know what hey it's another question. Since we're on the topic, how come women friendships never really last? Especially when it's a group. If they go on a trip together,
Starting point is 00:41:13 they come back, ain't nobody friend no more. They go to dinner parties, you know, everybody split the bill, then they're not friends no more. Yeah. There's always a story or situation,
Starting point is 00:41:23 especially on Twitter or X, whatever you want to call it, where this always happens and it happens continuously and regardless of age. The teenagers, the older group, even the,
Starting point is 00:41:33 you know, the of age, everybody be going through it. Always. I'm like, why does it always happen with women? They can never remain friends
Starting point is 00:41:41 for a very, very long time. They always end up falling out about something that's so simple. They give their girlfriend one chance, but they give JoJo, he get 30 chances to mess up.
Starting point is 00:41:54 But the girl give one chance. She don't come to my birthday dinner. No, I ain't talking to that bitch, no. Yeah, women, because JoJo, like, like, I guess I think I'm unique like I ain't a guy like
Starting point is 00:42:12 first of all I ain't got to worry about this because Bucket and Burns married but if my homeboys like okay you interested in something but I'm good because I always felt that if you try to holler at me, you're trying to get back at them. You're trying to tick them off.
Starting point is 00:42:28 I ain't trying to tick my homeboys off. Now, there are some men, your boys. Yeah. Hey, you turn your back, they like. Yeah. Yeah. yeah cause you know back back with your old old shay
Starting point is 00:42:49 you know I had a stepper I kept a stepper you know what I'm saying yes sir and and I if they
Starting point is 00:42:57 nobody want what I what I need I need a looker yeah you're supposed to be a looker mhm turn I need you to turn heads now. You're supposed to be a looker. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:43:06 I need you to turn heads now. And I'm always getting there first, because I want you to walk in, because I want to see the reaction. Mm-hmm. I don't care if the guys look. I want to see the women that look, because if they look, I know I got something.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I know I got a winner. Right. That's what you need to look. Look here. Guys, they'll hit the crack of dawn. And they ain't saying nothing for them. Right. But when them women look, ooh, okay, I like what she got on, you know.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Yeah. You know, she got on some Tom Ford heels or some YSLs, maybe some Balenciaga boots. You know the Balenciaga got them knee-high boots right now? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They in season now.
Starting point is 00:43:54 It's winter. It's cold now. For sure. For sure. With a nice bag. You know. YSL, Dior, LV. You know what? Them old nice ones.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. Man. Yeah. Ain't nothing like ain't nothing like a beautiful woman nah ain't nothing like it Ocho listen
Starting point is 00:44:11 God knew what he was doing when he made women in general that is one of the greatest creations ever known to man ever
Starting point is 00:44:21 ain't nothing like him, Ocho. A woman that work out just a little. I ain't say that's got to be her life. Right. But just a little, Ocho. Yeah. Lord, forgive me for my ways. Tough.

Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know.
Starting point is 00:48:55 As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. Alright, Ocho, time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A. Let me use the bathroom real quick. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Jay Dove from Akron. Appreciate the love for my alma mater. Go Bucs. I'm going to celebrate by buying a couple of bottles of La Portilla and Ocho cigars. Keep up the good work. Ocho, still waiting on that jersey. Stay strong, Jenkins family. Buckeye Nation.
Starting point is 00:49:42 All right, Jay Dove, I appreciate that. Man, congratulations, man. I know that's been a long time because y'all guys have been knocking on the door. You went to a couple of – you were in the finals, lost to Clemson one year, and the next year y'all go and y'all get blown out by Alabama. Y'all just kept knocking, kept knocking, and finally you guys got over the hump. So congratulations. We appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Yeah, and I guess this incident, Ohio, I don't know if you're still in uh i guess this incident ohio i don't know if you're still in ohio but uh this incident did happen in ohio so yeah we send our thoughts and prayers to the jenkins family uh that had to go through what they went through but the buckeyes did it um seemed like to me i thought texas was their toughest opponent um Look, Notre Dame made the game interesting late in the ballgame, but at 31-0, I don't know how many people stayed around. That was there that when the Irish started making their comeback, was still tuned in and watching at that point in time. But give the Buckeyes credit.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Hell of a season. Lost Oregon. Rede of a season. Lost Oregon. Redeemed that loss. Lost the final game of the season to Michigan. But I think this National Championship, I think it makes up for that loss to Michigan by winning the National Championship. They're the National Champs.
Starting point is 00:50:58 So, J-Dub, I appreciate that, man. I appreciate the support. I appreciate you watching Nightcap, supporting Ocho and I. And I definitely appreciate you supporting LePortier. So thank you, man. Appreciate that. Yeah, Ocho, get that man his jersey.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Isaiah Lancaster, Ocho, does Allen defeat Mahomes this weekend? And what's your thoughts on Chandler Parsons saying KD is better than Kobe all time? His opinion, but Kobe was way better two-way player to me. Man. Kobe all time. His opinion, but Kobe was way better two-way player to me. Man, that's going to be a great game.
Starting point is 00:51:31 What's the weather going to be like in Kansas City? I don't think it didn't pass either because both of them used to play in the cold. Both games were cold yesterday. J-Dub say he's still waiting on his jersey.
Starting point is 00:51:44 J-Dub, send me my hand. I jersey J-Dub send me my hand I need his information huh Ash done sent you the information twice when she sent it to me uh Mia Mia Rare Ryan
Starting point is 00:51:59 oh she sent it to Ryan well tell Ryan send it to me I got I got what the hell you mean tell Ryan to send it to me. I got the job. What the hell is that your sister? What the hell do you mean tell Ryan to send it to you? Oh, my bad. Yeah, I got jerseys.
Starting point is 00:52:11 I got jerseys. I got three jerseys right now. What do you call it? I'm talking about game jerseys too. Game one. Yeah. He's going to buy some cigars. He's going to celebrate because he's a Buckeye alum.
Starting point is 00:52:22 So he's going to buy some cigars and some Laporte. Yeah, yeah. Celebrate. Isaiah Lancaster asked, Ocho, does Josh Allen defeat Mahomes this weekend? And what are your thoughts on Chandler Parsons saying KD is better than Kobe? His opinion, but Kobe was a better two-way player. For one, the basketball question is better suited for you, Arn. Oh my goodness,
Starting point is 00:52:50 that's going to be a good one. Mahomes is going to have to play mistake-free, I mean, not Mahomes, Josh Allen is going to have to play mistake-free football, Arn. Yeah, one tournament could be the difference in this ball game. I think they're going to have to steal a possession or two. They got to steal a possession or two and play mistake-free football, and there's a good chance the Bills win this game.
Starting point is 00:53:09 There's a good chance the Bills win this game. But that guy there, Mahomes, man, that Patty Mahomes. Yeah, it's hard to bet against him. They are firing on all cylinders. On all cylinders. That's going to be a good game, man. That's going to be a good game. That's going to be a great game.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Yeah, man. Hey, what do you think about that question about, you know, KD being better than Kobe? I think he's better at certain things than Kobe. Yeah. Maybe a three-point shooter uh maybe a mid-range but it's a better nah i ain't going all around though no no no no no that's not close all around kobe was a uh seven it was a eight or nine time all defensive team player
Starting point is 00:53:59 first team uh along with all those all-NBA first team, a five-time champion, a two-time Finals MVP, which KD is a two-time Finals MVP. I can't go there. In what context is he speaking in KD being better? I guess he said he's a better all-time player, and I don't know what he's basing it on. Is KD a better three-point shooter?
Starting point is 00:54:25 Yeah. Better at the mid-range? Yes. But Kobe, I can't go there. Yeah. He's more efficient than Kobe. See, KD game is not predicated on a whole bunch of shots KD game is predicated
Starting point is 00:54:46 on efficiency right KD is the type of guy that can go get 40 points on 18 shots dang which is rare because
Starting point is 00:54:56 and I'm not for big now you talking about a guy that's just like a shot getting 40 cause you know he gonna dunk the ball but KD getting
Starting point is 00:55:03 KD shooting jumpers mid-range so nah okay i'm gonna disagree with challenge that's his opinion but i disagree tony bnr says argue with my family is golf a top 10 quarterback uh in this year yes yeah yeah Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. I mean, you got my homes, Lamar,
Starting point is 00:55:28 Josh Allen. Uh, hell this year. Hell, what's he called? The top 10 quarterback, uh, Jane Daniels. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Mm. Hmm. Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, the way golf has played the last couple of years you have to put him in the top 10 timmy said come on uh-oh come on bro i don't even think purdy is good but but to say lance is better is just asinine do you think shatterhead lynch are dumb purdy shouldn't get
Starting point is 00:55:56 50 million but he's definitely better than lance that that that just that just pains me at times. I'm for real, Unc. That pains me at times, but it happens. Aaron Owen says, what's up, Unc? Had Jamal Lewis not torn his ACL in 01, do you think you guys go back to back? Nah, the team had changed too much um we had all of a sudden we thought you know we threw the ball more than what we should have
Starting point is 00:56:32 yeah um i thought ta came in and um did a great job of terry allen uh we got him my homeboy uh he was at minnesota had some good year great years in at Minnesota had some good years great years at Minnesota had some good years at Washington but we're a different team the defense was not as vaunted was not as scary as it was the previous year teams that kind of figured aside a little bit and so
Starting point is 00:56:57 even when we didn't turn the ball over teams had a little bit more success their offense had a little bit more success Ocho on our defense than what they had in the ball over teams had a little bit more success. Their offense had a little bit more success, Ocho, on our defense than what they had in the past. J-Dub said, Ash just sent your info to Rell. She's going to make it
Starting point is 00:57:16 happen. Okay, okay, okay. Yeah. She got it. Yeah, so I'm going to make her ship it off, too. I bet you to make her ship it off too. I bet you have. What's today? What's today?
Starting point is 00:57:27 Today, Monday on? Yeah, no, today, Tuesday. Because we already. Oh, okay, Tuesday. I bet you had that jersey before Thursday or Friday. Yeah, you got to sign it though. No, they already signed. I'm going to just get one of them.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Okay. Sheldon Pope said, if Magic Johnson wins the Super Bowl, what can we say about him? He wins at all levels. NBA championship, Dodgers, and in Washington, I think he won one with the Galaxy. Mm-hmm. And he won one with the Sparks.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Look. Golly. Magic just knows how to do it. He's a very savvy businessman. He knows where to put his money money he's surrounded himself with great people that's what I'm saying Ocho when you win, that's your brand people want to associate with winners
Starting point is 00:58:14 that's how Magic was able to make all these contacts being with the Lakers, being in LA and boom, he get put in place the Starbucks deal and the Magic Johnson theaters and the Magic Johnson skating rinks and all that other stuff that came along with being Magic Johnson and being in
Starting point is 00:58:31 LA and winning, people wanted to associate with him. Relationships are so important. It's all about relationships once you get to this level. Relationships are so important and not burning bridges along the way because you never know when you might need somebody. Nehemiah Jean
Starting point is 00:58:48 for for leap. Oh, was there any fallout made called the Julio Joe the live TV when he wanted
Starting point is 00:58:57 to be traded? What was the aftermath? I wish I wouldn't have called Julio. I kind of put him in a bad spot and then kind of put him in a bad spot and then kind of put him in a bad spot.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Julio felt that when they started talking about, you know, everybody was safe. Matt Ryan was the only one safer than everybody else. He felt he should have
Starting point is 00:59:18 been included in Matt Ryan. He felt he should have been untouchable. Right. And he knew it came from someone in the front office. Always. And it ticked came from someone in the front office. Always. And it ticked him off.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Because Julio gave everything to the Falcons. He probably played some games that he probably shouldn't have played. He probably should have taken some time off. But he had a great situation in Atlanta. They treated him well. And I think, you know, Ocho, sometimes, you know, when emotion is high logic is low and you hear i say that here uh i think you know and the gentleman we just had mikey on he's
Starting point is 00:59:50 like look don't be don't don't make an emotional decision and he was hurt that they thought that oh we just move on with julio we We just keep Matt. When he really should have just stayed. Because Julio had it really good there. Yes, sir. With his practice schedule. He didn't realize everybody don't do that, Ocho. Everybody don't let their veterans just come out there and do a little bit on Wednesday, a little bit on Thursday, hit it on Friday, and then go play on Sunday.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Right. Everybody ain't got it like that, Ocho. But I talked to Julio. I just hate that I put him in that spot. I really do. Because Julio is a great guy. Trey, what's up? Nightcap, Navy Vet.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Can you shout out my wife, PFC Diamond Hawkins, on deployment in Kuwait. If JD5 go to the Super Bowl, do we look at other quarterbacks differently? Even more body of work, i.e. Lamar. Diamond, PFC is private first class. Diamond Hawkins on deployment in Kuwait. Oh, that's his wife. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Trey. Diamond, how you doing? I don't know if you're watching this, but thank you for your service. Your hub, I want to wish to give you a shout out. She's in deployment in Kuwait. Thank you for your service.
Starting point is 01:01:22 To all the men and women in the military, thank you so much for all you do to all the men and women in the military. Thank you so much for all you do to keep us safe and sound. If Daniels goes to the Super Bowl, of course, that's the thing. We look at all quarterbacks differently when somebody goes to the Super Bowl. Ultimately, that's what you do. That's why you make the big bucks. There's a reason why no player is within $20 million, $15 million, $30 million, $25 million of the big bucks. There's a reason why no player isn't within $20 million,
Starting point is 01:01:45 $15 million, $30 million, $25 million of the top quarterback. The highest paid wide receiver makes $25 million. The highest paid quarterback
Starting point is 01:01:53 makes $60 million. There's a reason why. No other players within $25 million are the highest paid quarterback. That's the expectations. They get all the, they get all the expectations. They get all the,
Starting point is 01:02:05 they get all the credit. They get all the blame. Uh, terrible. Bullard said, my daughter, Camara Bullard made the Dean list at Savannah state. She's also a sophomore.

Starting point is 01:04:21 Who's a better driver, Ocho? Men. There are some women that can drive, but the majority of men are good. The majority of women are bad. They can't even parallel park. Oh, yeah. I don't know what
