Starting point is 00:04:28 and make the most out of your tax refund. This episode of Nightcap is brought to you by Coligard, a non-invasive colon cancer screening test. Currently, colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., and it's on the rise in people under the age of 50. But when caught at early stages, colon cancer is survivable in 90% of the people.
Starting point is 00:04:48 So screening and early detections are key to reducing overall colon cancer deaths. And a great one-of-a-kind way to feel more in control of your colon cancer screening is through the Cologuard test, a prescription-based test with none of the prep that's required for colonoscopy. The Cologuard test is the only FDA-approved, non-invasive option
Starting point is 00:05:06 that looks for both altered DNA and blood in your stool, which can indicate the presence of abnormal cells. This test offers convenience and ease of use, and the kit is delivered right to your door. Once you complete the kit, it is returned to the lab, and results are available within two weeks. Plus, it's affordable. Most insured patients pay $0.
Starting point is 00:05:27 And if you do need a colonoscopy as a follow-up, most insurance plans cover that as well. So if you're 45 or older and at average risk, ask your health care provider about screening for colon cancer with the Cologuard test. You can request a Cologuard prescription today at Cologuard.com slash podcast. The Cologuard test is intended to screen adults 45 and older at average risk for colorectal cancer. Do not use the Cologuard test if you've had adenomas, have inflammatory bowel disease, or certain hereditary syndromes or personal or family history of colorectal cancer. The Cologuard test is not a replacement for colonoscopy in high-risk patients. Cologuard test performs an adult age 45 to 49, it's estimated, and based on a large clinical
Starting point is 00:06:12 study of patients 50 and older. False positives and false negatives can occur. Cologuard is available by prescription only. Ocho, the Lakers stopped the bleeding today. After a four-game skid in which they saw them go from the two seed all the way to the five seed, they got 33 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists from Luka. They got 28 points from 11 rebounds, 8 assists from Luka. They got 28 points from Alistair Reeves. Jackson Hayes matched a season high with 19. And they win 107-96.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Kevin Durant had 21 points. Devin Booker had 19 for the 11th place Suns. The Lakers failed three spots during the West. They lost all four games. They were on the road, Ocho, and currently a stretch of a brutal with seven games in 10 days, including five at home in seven days. A lot of this had to do with,
Starting point is 00:07:15 you remember when they had to fire the wildfires in L.A.? They had to make up those games. They got to make up a game in which San Antonio was supposed to play. That game got postponed, so now it got sandwiched in here, and so now they got to play. LeBron missed his fourth straight game, but Coach Reddick said LeBron is ramping up towards a return.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Probably they won't be back until the end of the week, but couldn't come at a better time. They needed to stop the hemorrhaging today. They were able to do that. But they're not out of the woods because if I'm not mistaken, they still got the Nuggets up on the – yeah, they got the Nuggets.
Starting point is 00:07:55 They got San Antonio on the – I think they got San Antonio on the 17th. That's tomorrow. Wait. Oh, okay. Wimmy playing? Wimmy not playing, is he? No, no, W when we're done yeah but i thought i thought the lakers played really good they needed this type of game from luca luca and austin reed basically they led the charge uh jackson hay did a great job of rolling to the
Starting point is 00:08:16 rim that's what luca wants luca wants a guy uh a big that's that's that's agile that's athletic right he doesn't need to be the best shooter. Can you catch lobs? How many lobs did Luka throw him? How many lobs did AR throw him? And that's what you need. Hey, just run to the rim, son. Hey, when they come to Dublin, which they're going to do, they did a lot of that late in the ballgame
Starting point is 00:08:37 to try to get the ball out of Luka's hands. And rightfully so. And Luka, great awareness, throw it up. Jackson Hayes brings it down. Dunks it home. So, I would have loved, man, I just want LeBron to come back and not have any setbacks and see how this thing plays out for the final, you know, 17, 18 games of the regular season.
Starting point is 00:08:57 But I like the way they played today. Got some great production. Gabe Vinson came in and gave them some quality minutes. But they did a great job. KD did not shoot the ball well from the floor. Book did not shoot the ball well from the floor. Bradley Beal did not shoot the ball well from the floor. Hell, I'm not so sure Bradley Beal even scored a point.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Did Bradley Beal even – I'm serious, Ocho. Right. Did Bradley Beal even score a hash? If he did, he had minimal points. He had four points, Ocho. See? Yeah, I think they really—they got themselves— he's on one of two players that have a no trade.
Starting point is 00:09:42 He and LeBron. They really want to get up. They want to move on from Bradley Beal, but he don't want to go nowhere. It's a conversation. It's a conversation that needs to be had. Him asking, them asking him, is there somewhere you want to go where you would like to play?
Starting point is 00:09:56 I kind of like it here. The weather's nice. Sunshine. No, there's no place I want to go. I don't think that's true, Ron, because he would put forth a little bit more effort, especially when it comes to playing and contributing to them offensively. All I'm saying, they offered him an opportunity.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Where do you want to go? I mean, the team's got to want you. Right. You don't think a team would want him? Yeah, but not the team that he potentially wants to go, I mean, the team's gotta want you. Right. You don't think a team would want him? Yeah, but not the team that he potentially wants to go to. Oh, I see. I see what you mean. I see what you mean. Yes. Go to...
Starting point is 00:10:33 Oh, Cho, this is where you do it. You need to be with the girl that likes you, not the girl that you like. You see? Go to the team that wants you, not to the team that wants you not to the team where you want to go because the girl that likes you is going to treat you
Starting point is 00:10:49 accordingly the girl that you like listen I ain't going to go there we not going to do that today we not going to get in there you ain't got to do it today you ain't got to do it that's what you need to do that's the problem
Starting point is 00:11:04 he wants to go to a team. That he won't. Okay. Not the team that wants him. Hey, using that analogy where people can better understand it. I like that. I like that. I'm just saying, Ocho, that's like...
Starting point is 00:11:27 Ocho, you need to write that down. That's one I don't have to write down. I've always lived by that. Because, you know, you give me your new... How do you say it? If you give me your you-know-what to kiss, I'll write back. Don If you give me your, you know what, the kiss,
Starting point is 00:11:46 all right, bet. Don't worry about it. One thing about it, the line is very long. Yeah. You hear me? The line is very long.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Oh, Joe, sometimes you got it. Oh, Joe. With those who actually will appreciate and love. Well, you know what? Don't close now. Oh, so let me ask you this.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Yeah. When someone gives you their butt to kiss, what did you do to make them pull their pants down and turn around and say, kiss my butt? Did you do anything to facilitate that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, how you gonna be mad? Yeah, but Sugar ain't't mad i ain't mad at
Starting point is 00:12:27 all no but i'm saying how you gonna be upset somebody give you a butt to kiss when it was you had they ever given you their butt to kiss before in general um yes i'm just speaking hypothetically i'm saying in general oh yeah hypothetically speaking yeah always we we always as as individuals we always do things to get people to that point where it's like oh you know what man good but you know how to know yeah it's life huh it's life okay yeah but you know i mean it happens there you know it happens yeah yeah but like like you said you always always choose who choose you
Starting point is 00:13:07 always yeah yeah I mean hey get your hey Uncle little reclamation project don't nobody want to fix Uncle I'm a reclamation project I ain't a finished project I'm a reclamation project I ain't a finished project
Starting point is 00:13:25 I'm a reclamation project I need a new roof Hey Listen we all are a work in progress You just have to find someone that's willing to work with you Everybody want a finished product Ain't no such thing Nope
Starting point is 00:13:40 There's no such thing as a finished product Regardless of how it look It look good it look good on the outside but it's a whole lot of work to get done on the on the interior and ain't nothing wrong with that
Starting point is 00:13:53 you just gotta have the right person that is willing to help you you know get through that process yeah sometimes yeah it's the outside
Starting point is 00:14:03 sometimes you go inside you look at it man that house you go inside you look at it man that house you go inside like damn yeah man this is you did an unbelievable job yeah sometimes there's women like that sometimes the prettiest women on the outside or the ugliest on the inside and sometimes it's vice versa right right yeah i can't i can't i can't i can't quite speak on that everyone has been listen everyone that has been a part of my life in any facet, way, shape or form has been phenomenal
Starting point is 00:14:31 they've been phenomenal you know I can really say they've been great in my growth as a man as a father. So I like that.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I haven't experienced what you just said in that sense, but that's a good one. I haven't had the experience. So I've been lucky. Mm-hmm. I still got some work to do, though. Yeah. The Mavs are at risk of forfeiting games if they fall below the minimum.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Eight players active required for teams to play. ESPN Bobby Marks. Dallas provided an update on Anthony Davis' left abductor strain. Derek Lively II, right ankle stress fracture. Daniel Gaffer, right knee sprain. Stating all three are improving. However, there's no timetable on any of their returns. Jaden Hardy, right ankle sprain, stating all three are improving. However, there's no timetable on any of their returns. Jaden Hardy, right ankle sprain.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Kai Jones, quad, haven't played since March 3rd. P.J. Washington, right ankle sprain, has been out since March 1st. But now it leaves Brandon Williams, Dwight Powell, Clay Thompson, Najee Marshall, Caleb Martin, Max Christie, Spencer Dinwiddie, Kessler Edwards as the lone healthy players a total. Nobody else can get injured, don't you?
Starting point is 00:15:54 Nah, they can't. Listen, hey, why would they penalize the team because people are hurt? I don't understand. Do they think they're faking or something? Just to make sure you don't. The same way you talk about, why team don't want to win games to try
Starting point is 00:16:10 to tank and try to get the number one pick to get more ping pong balls? I thought you played the game to win. Well, listen, we know they're not doing that. The same way teams used to put players on IR to hide them because the guys, because if you released them, somebody might get them. So we put players on IR to hide them because the guys,
Starting point is 00:16:25 because if you released them, somebody might get them. So we put them on IR. Right. Okay. Man, you know, anytime there's, anytime, look, people are going to find a way to skirt the system. No matter what system is in place, you know what? I got bad credit.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I'm going to put the phone in my kid name you see I remember them days because I sure had a wash and dry in my name and I was on it too classic uh huh uh there had Ocho
Starting point is 00:16:59 that has reportedly been quite the vibe shift for wide receiver Garrett Wilson after the New York Jets moved on from Aaron Rodgers and added Justin Fields this offseason. Wilson has told friends he's thrilled with the addition of Fields. ESPN's Rich Cimini wrote Sunday, it's no secret that he and Rodgers didn't see eye to eye last season, but now he has a quarterback he knows and respects.
Starting point is 00:17:24 They've maintained a good relationship, another reason Wilson said to be excited about 2025. In December, the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported all is not well with Rodgers and Wilson and added that probably there have been questions regarding whether Rodgers and Wilson can find common ground since they had a blow-up during training camp, which I tried to tell Ocho. And Ocho said, don't worry about that. Yeah, I didn't think it would be anything bad because I've had those same kind of talks with John Kitten.
Starting point is 00:17:53 I've had those same talks with Carson Palmer. But not every day. Oh, not every day. I thought it was just that one clip. No, you thought I'm talking every day. Yeah. Most of the time, I think they weren't able to get on the same page. Aaron Rodgers wanted things done a certain way,
Starting point is 00:18:07 and Garrett Wilson was kind of complaining. Whatever it may have been, it didn't work out. I like the fact that he had Justin Fields, and I know one thing, goddamn Fields going to give that ball to Brother Wilson. He going to feed it to him, and they going to find ways to get him back where he was his rookie season. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Where he's very productive. Because after this season, hey, they got to come see five with that bag, man. Yeah. They got to come see five with that bag. He's the top 10 receiver in the NFL right now. He didn't look like it from a productive standpoint last year because the offense was in disarray. But he's going gonna get back to that this is justin fields year two justin fields can make himself some good money you know if he have
Starting point is 00:18:50 a good season huh they'll redo it yeah if he if he have himself a good season and they'd be like you know what this is the quarterback of the future for us and he plays a play i think he should play now that you have nothing to worry about behind you, you ain't got to worry about nobody taking your spot. All you have to do is just play football freely and just focus. This is your team. This could be your team. They can hand you the keys.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Oh, Joe, I just found it odd that Garrett Wilson was Offensive Rookie of the Year and looked better with Zach Wilson and those guys than he did with Aaron Rodgers. Yeah. I just found it odd. Wait, who? What quarterback?
Starting point is 00:19:35 Zach Wilson. I think he had Joe Flacco. Mike White. I think he had a couple of different quarterbacks. And the guy was Offensive Rookie of the Year. Oh, Joe? Zach Wilson. That was the guy. offensive rookie of the year, Ocho? Zach Wilson. That was the guy.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Yeah. Okay. So, look. And sometimes, like you said, Rodgers was used to doing things a certain way. And that way, you know, at the end of the day, we got to get a week. Look, if we're trying to do the same thing, there has to be a give and take. Right. Okay, I understand that you are, but I can't do everything that you want.
Starting point is 00:20:04 I need you to meet me. Can we meet in the middle? Somewhere halfway. Can we meet in the middle? You got to be on the same page. Yeah. You got to be. I'm not saying,
Starting point is 00:20:13 look, I'm not saying I can't, I'm not saying that we can't go to brunch, but can we not, do we have to go to brunch every Sunday? Of every month, of every week? Can we like just stay home and can I watch the games? Yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 00:20:30 there has to be a happy medium somewhere. Oh, Joe, I understand who you are, but understand that. Look, am I as accomplished as you? No,
Starting point is 00:20:38 no. I'm not fair to cheat. I'm not fair to cheat around this. Come on now. Yeah, you're right. You're right. You got to be on the same page. Made for This Mountain is a podcast that exists to empower listeners to rise above their struggles,

I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel
Starting point is 00:22:18 seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No.
Starting point is 00:23:17 It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see. Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our life. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. Bill Belichick girlfriend released some photos of the two doing
Starting point is 00:25:29 aerial yoga at the beach. Ocho, check these photos out. Oh, that's live. Go ahead, Ocho Belichick. That's what I'm looking for. Hey, I want to know who are they that will be doing like that
Starting point is 00:25:43 right now? I want to do it right now. Just like that right now. That looks like some circus so late. Yeah, I don't want to know. Who out there would be doing like that right now? I don't want to do it right now. Just like that. That look like some circus so late. Yeah, I like that. That's dope. That's dope. I don't know if I'm going to be able to let y'all push my hips, man. I got to be careful now. You know what I'm saying? You can't do that. Your hips bad.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Hold on. There ain't nothing wrong with your hips. What is this called? Aerial what? Aerial yoga. Oh, aerial yoga. Okay. I wonder if they got classes like that. I think I should start doing yoga and Pilates. I used to love it.
Starting point is 00:26:12 When I played, I did it. I did it up until like probably like three years after I stopped playing. So probably like 2007 was the last time I did it. I got to try that. I have a hard time sitting still unless it's video games or watching a movie. I can't sit there for hours not doing nothing. Well, see, that's how I was, Ocho. When I played, I understood because I got to get flexibility.
Starting point is 00:26:41 I got to get my core, blah, blah, blah. But once I was done, I'd be thinking like 15 minutes into class, I'd be like, man, what you doing? But I used to take yoga, you know, like I said, I could do split front to back. Now, I can't take the chance of
Starting point is 00:27:03 my hip popping out. That's the last thing I'm going to have happen. I ain't trying to get no more surgery. I'm done. I ain't trying to do the rehab. The surgery wasn't that bad. Right. Because once I got that arthritic bone out of that, that ball and socket out of the Ocho.
Starting point is 00:27:17 It was good. The only thing I felt was the incision. The incision was stored for a couple of, you know, they have those, the stitches that dissolve. And they kept, it was glue.
Starting point is 00:27:29 They glued it. But anyway, it wasn't that bad, but I ain't trying to go through that process again. Because I'm happy for Coach Belichick. Hey, Coach, congrats, man. You done found him somebody. Hey, because y'all quick, what y'all got in common?
Starting point is 00:27:45 Why you? Why you care? Yeah. Yeah. You got it. You got to fight. You got to find your person. Yeah. You got to find your person.
Starting point is 00:27:55 So a cold bell. It's cold. Bella. She only to me. And he got him a 20 something. Yeah. But they get mad at me. I say I like 35, 33.
Starting point is 00:28:04 They get all upset. They get hostile. Yeah. But they get mad at me if I say I like 35, 33. They get all upset. They get hostile. Yeah, but, Bob, you got to understand, your set of rules and Bill's set of rules are completely different. You know, I don't think a 30, a 35, a 20, 20-something, older 20s or 30s or 35
Starting point is 00:28:20 would be good for you or suitable for you because the rules that you have in place. I ain't got no Ocho. Ocho, so you mean to tell me for a chance where you gonna drive around a Cullinan, you gonna drive around a G-Wagon, you gonna carry Birkins,
Starting point is 00:28:36 and you say all I ask, don't burp in front of me, don't pass gas in front of me. And that's gonna be a deterrent? You right, Ocho. You absolutely right. Hold on, hold on, hold on. There are a lot of other things that you...
Starting point is 00:28:48 Okay, okay, okay. You know what I'm with you when you're right. I really can't argue with that. I can't argue... I'm not asking you to... Wait, wait. Let's get back to the... Let's keep the main thing the main thing.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Okay. You buying G-wagons? You buying... I... I'm just asking. No, no. I'm asking. If you're using it as an example, let me know because I got some
Starting point is 00:29:11 people for you. If you're buying G wagons and Birkins and stuff like that, I got a few potentials for you. Everybody always talking about date your age. Well, I want, date your age.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Well, I want to date my wage. I'm finna shut all this is down tonight. I want to date my wage. Stay right there. Where y'all at? Hey, Chad, where they at? Hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Because, you know, I keep it on me now.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Yeah. I keep it on me. You want to date your what? I want to date my wage. Not my age. I want to date my wage. So where do I date? Because y'all always talking about date your age, date your age.
Starting point is 00:29:57 I want to date my wage. So come on with it. As a matter of fact, I'm taking applicants as we speak. Well, you're talking spicy tonight, boy. Boy, you're talking spicy. Date my wage. I'm finna... Now, all of a sudden, y'all crying, women.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Y'all ain't got nothing to say. I'm finna date my wage. Ooh, that's a good one, boy. That's what I'm talking about. Let's go. Date my wage. I'm a troll. I've talking about. Let's go. I'm going to date my way. I'm going to try. I'm just trying. I've never understood.
Starting point is 00:30:28 How does Ocho, and sometimes, and it gets like this a lot of times with jealousy. Yeah. It's almost like, how does my light being bright Right.
Starting point is 00:30:41 cast the darkness on you? Mm. It's, see, what I got, so you feel because of my success, it delayed your success? I'm not going to say my success, you feel a failure. Does my success delay your success?
Starting point is 00:31:03 Right. It does. No. So now, let's go the other way. If I date, so you feel that, okay, let's just say for the sake of argument, there's some young lady out there that's 50. So you feel if I date a 35-year-old or a 40-year-old, you missed that opportunity?
Starting point is 00:31:23 Uh-oh. I'm just curious. Come on, man. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. You might as well preach. Come on. I'm just asking.
Starting point is 00:31:33 So let's just say for the sake of argument, when you're 50, when are you going to be, when are you and I going to be in the same vicinity that you and I could potentially meet? Hmm. I don't bother nobody. When are you and I going to be in the same vicinity that you and I could potentially meet? I don't bother nobody. I don't get upset. Somebody like Coach Belichick. It ain't Joe Sochel, but I could care less, Coach Belichick, because they don't take nothing out of my pockets. Right.
Starting point is 00:31:59 You wonder if that was your daughter. What y'all fail to realize, my daughter is grown. Hell, remember I told you when she was was 17 I told her not to get a tattoo and she went and got it how the hell you think I'm going to tell somebody what to do she is in her damn 30s now hey she asked me I'll advise
Starting point is 00:32:18 but at the end of the day I want my daughter happy so if some guy 50 years old makes my daughter happy there it is if somebody 25 makes my daughter happy. So if some guy 50 years old makes my daughter happy, there it is. If somebody 25 makes my daughter happy, at the end of the day, I want my kids happy. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Damn what their daddy think. Damn what their mom think. If you happy, I'm happy. Because at the end of the day, all I want is my kids' happiness. So now back, when y'all talk about my age,
Starting point is 00:32:50 when y'all come into the table with that same wage scale, y'all don't want to talk about that now. Oh, okay. Hey, are you feeling good tonight, huh? No, no, I don't feel no way. You don't know me. I'm just trying to figure out who was harmed in the make, in the Shannon going out to dinner or Shannon going to do this.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Who was harmed? Right. Nobody was harmed. Nobody was harmed. I think people have a difference in opinion you know you like what you like and I think people on the outside looking in they had their perception on who
Starting point is 00:33:34 you should be dating and that's just how they see but what they feel you should be dating might not make you happy where was all that good advice Ocho when I was struggling? Okay. Ain't nobody offered no advice when I was in that thousand square percent to block home. Okay. When I was at Savannah State.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Come on now. Ain't nobody had no advice. How does Shannon get out of this environment? How does Shannon improve his family's life? Quality, standard of living. Nobody offered a damn thing. Now all of a sudden, y'all won't have input after I've made it here. You notice when people can become successful, now you got all this advice you can offer.
Starting point is 00:34:12 But you didn't offer a damn thing when I didn't have a damn thing. Now they got all the answers, huh? Now they know what exactly to do now. Well, if you know what to do, why are you not doing it for yourself? If you could tell me how I became successful in what I did and who I need to date and what I need to do, why can't you do it for yourself?
Starting point is 00:34:35 Boy, you talking tonight. And where the offering plate? Put your cash up up there. I'm like, well, damn. Everybody got to offer me advice. I made it this far. Am I perfect?
Starting point is 00:34:50 No. I never professed to be perfect. I try to live the best I possibly can. I try to stay out of people's way. I just try to circle my family. Hey, look, this is what we got. Boom. But I'm like, bro, every time I turn around,
Starting point is 00:35:08 and women do tell me, you know you need somebody your age. No, I don't. What we going to do? Go play bingo together? Oh, bingo. Oh, bingo. Nice now. That's a nice little date, man.
Starting point is 00:35:24 I'm looking to go to Topgolf. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? You can't swing the club with your hips. I can't swing the club. Nah, you're going to pop. I can swing another club, too. Let me stop, Ocho. Let me stop, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:35:42 I'm sorry. Chad, I'm sorry. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. I'm sorry. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. You know what I'm saying? It's Sunday.
Starting point is 00:35:50 That driver still work. Okay. Okay. I'm with you. I don't use no iron. I'm with you. I'm with you when you're right. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Oh, yeah. It's the lowest day for about 15 more minutes. I'm just it, man. I'll just be minding my own business, man. I won't be bothering nobody. McCoy, Belichick, live your life. Hey, I just want to know, who's going to let me do some aerial yoga?
Starting point is 00:36:21 I need to do that, too. Oh. Oh. I need to do that too Oh Oh Y'all don't know about this age Okay Ocho The most expensive meat in the world Age Wagyu $3,200 a pound

I didn't ask you to buy that. I'm going to use your money and get you some of that wagon. I didn't ask you to buy that. I don't want that.

Through raw conversations, real stories, and actionable guidance, you can learn to face the mountain that is in front of you. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to conquer the things that once felt impossible and step boldly into the best version of yourself to awaken the unstoppable strength
Starting point is 01:05:19 that's inside of us all. So tune into the podcast, focus on your emotional well-being, and climb your personal mountain. Because it's impossible for you to be the most authentic you. It's impossible for you to love you fully if all you're doing is living to please people. Your mountain is that. Listen to Made for This Mountain on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company,
Starting point is 01:05:46 the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
Starting point is 01:06:31 And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
Starting point is 01:07:13 I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafak, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part
Starting point is 01:08:06 Audible original. Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world,
Starting point is 01:08:53 you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. Dr. Frankie, I'm Bellamy. Hey, fam, who's the best college basketball coach ever? Coach K, John Wooden, or someone else? Well, it's a very short list. You got Coach K. You got Coach short list. You got Coach K.
Starting point is 01:09:26 You got Coach Wooden. You got Coach Knight. You got Coach Rupp. Coach Smith. Who you got? How do you argue with someone that won 10 national championships, that won seven in a row dang and he won a lot of those when freshmen couldn't play
Starting point is 01:09:50 I would say Coach Wood and Coach K that would be my one two who you got I was going to say Mr. Wooden. Mr. Wooden, you can't argue with that. Resume speaks for itself. It absolutely does.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Scooty Puff, congratulations to T and Jamar getting their bag. We let some excellent players walk in the past. I'm glad we decided to do right by T. Who they? Yep, you have. But I think the thing is that what Mike Brown is seeing, that
Starting point is 01:10:33 these opportunities don't come too long. You've got to seize the moment. You've got a quarterback that's in his prime. You've got a great opportunity. You know the barren waste which was Cincinnati and no playoffs Ocho
Starting point is 01:10:49 losing first round draft number one overall pick after number one overall pick come on bro enough of that enough of that now it's time you have an opportunity to win to give the people something to like to hold on to.
Starting point is 01:11:06 These people have been cheering for you for a long, long time, and they haven't had a whole lot to show. Yeah, you went to the what, 80, what were you there? 88? 88? They went 88, and I think they went like 82?
Starting point is 01:11:21 Because they played in Detroit with Ken Anderson. They ended up losing to San Fran. But you got an opportunity here. You got to seize this moment, Ocho. Yeah. Kudipu Baguio said, Uncle Ocho, two weeks ago, at Christ the Redeemer, I pray for both of you t and jamar
Starting point is 01:11:46 for health wealth and success look at everyone winning blessed and thriving who they scooty puff thank you so much bro i appreciate that salute junior said older women always shame men for dating younger women when they dated older men when they were growing, when they were young. True. Uh-oh. True. Uh-oh. True. Uh-oh. Moving forward, I'm dating for a wage. Is it wage? Not age.
Starting point is 01:12:15 I like that. Yep. Alan Fletcher up on X Game Mode tonight. Curvy Asian dog. You're talking about a steak of women with aged meat. There you go. Ocho say he like gives a little age with a little seasoning.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. More than definitely. Adab Smith said, I understand your preference in age. I'm young. I'm a young buck, and I want that old gravy. Older the berry, the sweeter the juice. Don't you say, the sweeter the juice, the older the berry.
Starting point is 01:13:03 For me, whatever you like i told you i'm not look so many people died so we could have the right to to kind of go where we want to go and do what we want to do but now all of a sudden they want to be able to tell you well you should do this you should do that why that's what you want to do right why do i why don't i get a preface on what i want to do? Yeah, I like that. I like that. So do I get to tell you where you should work? Do I get to tell you what type of car you should drive, where you should live? Oh! But y'all feel like y'all should be able to tell me what I should date, who I should date.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Nah, I'm good. A.K. Tan said, good show, Nightcap. Speaking of dating, how do you handle being number two and how did you go about it number what who what whoa whoa whoa man you got the easy job yeah bring that bring that back in he says how did how did you handle being number two and how did you go about it man listen number two is, never mind. Let me stop. I'm going to let you answer that. What you mean, don't you answer that? You think I'd be number two? Huh?
Starting point is 01:14:15 I'm section number one, number one, number one. Yeah, listen. I can't be number two, number two, number two. I mean, look, everything. If she tells you from the beginning, you have to make a decision. Maybe that's what you're into. Okay, I got somebody. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:34 We do what we do. Boom. Now, she doesn't tell you she has somebody. You find out she has somebody. She doesn't want to leave said individual. You find out she has somebody. She doesn't want to leave said individual. Now you've got a decision to make. Do you want to continue this, or do you say, nah, hey, this is going to be a problem for somebody, and I don't want to be a problem for me? That's it, don't y'all mean what?
Starting point is 01:15:03 I mean, I don't really know what he want us to tell him. I don't know. Do you not want to be number two? Are you wanting to be number one? I mean, that would give me an indication of how I can better explain what's going on. Are you do you? Are you not OK with being number two? You want to be number one? Did you find out that you were number two?
Starting point is 01:15:20 Time out. If he number two, he definitely don't need to graduate to number one. Because if you graduate to number one, then there'll be a number two that can replace you. Keep the position you in. Enjoy yourself. Number one got to deal with the headache. Number one got to pay the bills. Number one
Starting point is 01:15:38 got to do all the motherfucking bull. You know what? And you just get to sit back and relax. And you get the better version of her anyway but what if it's a situation where you know her family dynamic won't allow you to be number one
Starting point is 01:15:54 hey I am it's hard for me to I just man listen them days long gone for me man them days long gone so it, man. Them days long gone. So it's hard for me to even answer. See, here's the thing, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:16:14 You see, you can not be number one, but be a favorite. Ugh. And most of the time, most of the time, her favorite is the person that's not good for her. The favorite is always the fun guy. The number one is normally the safe person. The safe person is the one
Starting point is 01:16:33 you take home to your mama. Your favorite is the one your mama say, boy, baby, don't you bring him home here. He ain't no good for you. She thinks something about me, Ocho. Come on now. Because she put me on a team.
Starting point is 01:16:44 I'm on a team, Ocho. No matter what round I got drafted in, I don't care if I'm number one or I'm number 46. Man, listen. I'm on a team, Ocho. Sometimes that's all that matters, huh? Which means I'm going to get in the game. All you got to do is
Starting point is 01:17:00 wait on the call. She's going to sub you in at some point. All you got to do is wait. Dwight, will you say it? Do you guys think Chris Brown will ever get an opportunity to do the Super Bowl halftime show? Ocho?
Starting point is 01:17:16 Oh, man. Listen, from a... Man, that thing will be crazy. Crazy. From a performing standpoint? Boom! Hey, he'd be phenomenal. He'd be phenomenal. Crazy from a performing standpoint. Boom. Boom. Hey, he'd be phenomenal. He'd be phenomenal.
Starting point is 01:17:29 He's one of the best in the world. There's only maybe three or four of them with the stage presence that can command the tension. Notice what we said, though, Joe. We said performing. Performing, yeah. Beyonce. That's not to say that he Oh he can do it all
Starting point is 01:17:45 He can sing, he can dance Beyonce, Bruno Mars Chris Brown Usher Usher Performers I don't care what you're doing You know what I don't care I gotta watch
Starting point is 01:18:04 I gotta watch I don't care what you're doing. Oh, so-and-so got the halftime show? You know what? I don't care. I got to watch. I got to watch. I got to put it down. I don't care what I'm doing. I got to watch. Because there ain't no telling what they finna do. He'd be really dope. He'd be really dope.
Starting point is 01:18:21 I can imagine. J213, hey, Uncle Ocho. Hope y'all had a blessed weekend. My question for you all, would you rather get kicked by a horse, punched by a silverback, scratched by a bear, or kicked by a kangaroo? Kicked by a kangaroo? Because that's going to hurt the least out of everything you just said. I mean, all of them could potentially kill you. I'll take the kangaroo.
Starting point is 01:18:48 Horse going to break something. Gorilla, you dead. That's too much power. And what was the scratch? Yeah, because they have the strength of eight to ten men. Exactly. I don't want no part of that. A bear, it ought to.
Starting point is 01:19:02 Because the bear do this. Bear, you done. He going to open you up like a right meller. Wide open. I'm good. Kick by a kangaroo. I'll take that. Oh, Joe, you know they stand on that tail.
