CD Lamb responds to Troy
Eggman criticism. After Eggman
called the Cowboys receiver lazy and terrible,
CD responded to a sit-down
interview with former coach Jason
Garrett. As a leader, I take
it in. We got to work. I
use it as a building block. If you say
our routes are lazy, I'm going to
go out there every week and show you
my routes. Personally, I take
that as constructive criticism, as
well as you should. If we can control
it, let's go work at it and get
better at it. I'm a hard worker.
So anything you say that I'm not doing,
I'm going to show you that I'm doing it.
I like that. I like that. That's a very
mature answer. I love it.
Very, very, very mature answer.
Now, is that what he's really
thinking? Probably not.
But what he said publicly is
the perfect answer to the criticism
that a legend from your organization who has won multiple Super Bowls.
Great response.
Great response.
And the thing is, is that you have to understand Troy, the quarterback.
Right.
Troy used to get on my case.
Michael Irvin.
What he's saying is that, like, bro, if I don't consistently know where you are that's why
people looking at us like we crazy you and i've had the conversation as long as cd and
playing together they shouldn't have these misfires like they have no no they have they
have misfires like guys that ain't never played together right that you know what i think that's due to now also yeah every year training camp yeah
missing training every year those repetitions that you need in training camp mini camp
otas all that helps all that helps in building that chemistry because it resets itself after
every year yeah it ain't oh i'm to go to training. I'm not at
training camp. I'm not at OTAs.
Or I'm not at mini camp. But then come
in season, you think everything is just going to
be like that.
But that's your opportunity to work on stuff though, Ocho.
It's just like, you don't like,
man, you know what? I had my best year.
And I don't work anymore. You work
hard to have a better year. So you get
back to try to build even a better report.
Each year, you want to expand.
Hey, we good at this.
Let's see if we can get a little better at that.
Okay, we got good at this and that.
Let's see if we can get good at something else.
That's how you build.
That's how you get better.
And so now everything, back shoulder fade, end out you know uh uh speed out all that stuff
but uh you know it's it's like i said i i don't watch him i used to watch him when i first started
at uh at uh at fox yeah i used to watch tape because i wanted to see i'd like but i just i
had to stop because in my head I'm too critical Ocho
I'm like bro what the hell is this
that lazy ass route
bro you can't bro you rounded
the route off that's why the DP came
for it knock it down
and then you put the blink on
he knew you was breaking out that's why you
jetted it
so I'm glad I'm glad CD I hope CD takes And then you put the blank on. He knew you was breaking out. That's why you jetted it.
Mm-hmm.
So I'm glad CD, I hope CD takes it like, okay, you played the quarterback.
You know what's expected of us in Dallas.
Criticism comes along with the job.
Yeah.
And especially a guy that played like you said, Troy's looking at it from a quarterback.
He's looking at it from Dak.
Everybody's saying Dak bad, but damn, these guys running these lazy ass rounds.
He don't know where they're going to be.
Right.
Because the round, hey, when my back foot hit.
That ball already gone. That quarterback back foot hit, Ocho, with his three or five.
Yeah.
And I can't be, I can't be back there jacking the ball off.
Worrying about you.
There's people coming.
People coming.
Yes.
Knock his head off.
So the Cowboys are ready to try something new at weekend
to help juice up the NFL's worst rushing offense.
The team plans to elevate four-time Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook
off the practice squad, setting the stage for his debut.
They're 77 yards rushing per game, ranked dead last in the NFL.
As that stands, that would be Dallas' worst per game average
through first six games since 1989.
I think that's a good look.
It's a good look for the Cowboys for bringing Dalvin Cook up.
Isn't that when they traded Herschel?
Did they trade Herschel?
I think they traded Herschel.
That was 89.
They traded Herschel to Minnesota.
Man.
Listen, Dalvin Cook's still fast,
shifty.
He's really good off tackle.
You know, running through the holes.
He can make you miss.
But Ocho.
I think what you think.
You think it's going to help?
I think it might help.
Hell, listen, they're coming out of a bye week.
I think this is a good week for the Cowboys to rejuvenate everything they have going on.
They're playing the 49ers.
The 49ers are hurt, huh?
Everybody hurt.
I'm not sure if people are going to play.
You know, Iuke is out.
Brandon, I don't know.
I'm not sure if Brandon Jennings is back.
Juwan Jennings.
I mean, Juwan Jennings.
I'm talking about Brandon Jennings.
Juwan Jennings.
I'm like, man.
Brandon Jennings played basketball.
I know.
He definitely out.
He was talking trash about he beat me,
so it was still stuck in my head.
It was still stuck in my head.
But, yeah.
If the Cowboys win the game,
this is one that they can't win
just because of the injuries.
Are you going to run the football?
Because Jerry Jones said
in his offense,
you know,
Derrick Henry wouldn't look like that.
Because you know why?
Because you won't give him the ball. Yeah. And guess what? Dallas Cook ain Henry wouldn't look like that. Because you know why? Because you won't give him the ball.
And guess what?
Dallas Cook ain't going to look like that either.
Because you're going to want Dak to throw the ball 40 times.
You know what? You can throw the ball
40 times, but you're going to have to establish the goddamn
run at some point. Because if
you don't, all they're going to do is sit in goddamn
2-shell all goddamn day.
Yes. And why would I come out of it
if you can't run the ball?
And that makes it that much more difficult on day. Yes. And why would I come out of it? You can't run the ball.
And that makes it that much more difficult on deck.
Yes.
So we're about to find out if they can run the ball when they
play. Is that a Sunday game or a Monday game?
Tomorrow? Is the
afternoon game or a night game?
Sunday night?
Yeah.
That's Sunday night football, Ocho.
That's going to be a good one.
That's the thing.
I mean, but at the end of the day, Ocho,
you got to let the guy run the ball.
Jerry thinks you're supposed to get like
have five carries, 100 yards.
And what?
And Madden?
Thank you.
You can't even do that in Madden
to about five carries
a hundred yards
just man
I mean Jerry
Jerry's been around the game
long enough to know
you don't have the same
you ain't Larry Alley
not there
no
no
you ain't got the guy
that was blocking for Emmitt
no
but you definitely
ain't getting no Emmitt
no five ten carries
Emmitt's toting that thing
22 25 30 times
yeah
yeah oh y'all went back and listened to what Jerry said no 5-10 carries. Emory's told that thing 22, 25, 30 times. Yeah.
I went back and listened to what Jerry said.
Jerry said that none of the players
or the staff has complained about the tour.
Right. Jerry,
you threatened the fire guy
that you don't even own the radio station.
Yeah.
You done pulled that power move
and you think somebody gonna say, hey, Jerry,
I think that's a bad idea.
You already showed them what you do.
Yeah. I wonder
why they ain't told you that, Jerry.
You done told them, man.
You gonna get somebody in there to ask you more favorable
questions. Right. And you think
somebody that's directly tied to you
gonna tell you you wrong?
Uh-uh.
Not a chance. I didn't tell my...
Man, Jerry know better.
And Jerry funny, man.
The greatest businessman of all time, boy.
Eric Dickinson set the NFL rushing record
2105 in 1984.
That's after he came off his rookie season.
He ran for 1808.
Over the last past 40 seasons,
no one has been able to top that mark,
but something could change.
Heading into week eight,
Derrick Henry's on pace to break the record.
And although plenty of players
have gotten off to hot starts,
the first half of the season before fading,
Lamar thinks Henry might be able to break the record
he says Henry has a good chance
to top ED's number
it's there I feel like he has a great chance
of achieving it I think he can do it
I believe he can do it through seven
weeks Henry rushed for
873 yards he's on
pace to run for 2120
which would be 15 yards more
than ED's record so Henry doesn't have a huge margin for error He's on pace to run for 21-20, which would be 15 yards more than E.D.'s record.
So Henry doesn't have a huge margin for error going forward.
Yeah.
Joe, what you think?
The possibility of him doing it is really, really good.
It's really, really good.
Very good.
Oh, there's nothing.
The Ravens almost seem like a cheat code when you watch them play against everybody they play.
Lamar is running the ball.
He's throwing the ball.
De'Aaron Currie is running the ball.
He's catching balls out the goddamn backfield.
That's not even part of his repertoire.
That's a big word for him, but I can't spell it.
I mean, they look really, really good, obviously.
Like, it's damn near scary.
So if I were to say the two best teams in the NFL offensively,
I'm going Detroit and I'm going goddamn Ravens.
And the Ravens are getting it done on the ground before they even put the ball in the air.
And this is a past happy league now.
Well, my question is, at what expense does Jerry
Henry break that record?
We could have got TD's record.
Because there are games in which
TD, when he ran for 2008, Ocho,
TD was done at the half.
He'd be in a rush for 150 and Mike wouldn't let him
play anymore. Or he'd be in a rush
for 169 and in the third
quarter, he was done for the fourth quarter.
So he sat out probably equivalent, if you look at what you go back and look at third quarter he was done for the fourth quarter. So he sat out probably
equivalent if you look at what
you go back and look at when he didn't play anymore
he probably sat out the equivalent of
probably three games
because Mike saw the bigger picture.
Yeah, I get you that record.
We don't win the Super Bowl.
What the hell?
Because at the end of the day
we wanted to be special
you needed to repeat in order for you
to be one of these teams that people talk about
recurrently you got to do it back to back
right
so do I think he can do it yeah
I do I do because there's going to be a
situation where they're going to need him to run the air out of the ball
yeah and he's more than capable of doing
that and I think they have a team
that takes pride
and kind of like
when TD, TD need like 170
something yards to get that record, don't you?
Man, you ought to saw them linemen.
They were blocking, they were blocking it.
Man, I'm like, man, hey. I'm like,
throw it, throw it.
Man, please.
Hey, them linemen wanted it. They like, they're like oh we're gonna get this we're gonna get that record we're gonna get 2000 yeah i think for them it's surprising and knowing
that oh absolutely it is but it's the fact absolutely we're the reason why he was able
to get that record so it means just as much to them as it does to him winning that record. And he gets an extra game.
17 instead of 16.
Right.
What was so amazing, OJ went for 2003 and 14.
Damn.
In Buffalo.
Them boys were toting that rock, boy.
Oh, the electric company.
That's what they call the offensive line, the electric company.
Right.
Raleigh McKenzie, Joe DeLamalere.
They were moving people.
Moving them out, huh?
They were moving them up out of there.
Actually, Joe Ferguson, if I'm not mistaken,
Joe Ferguson was the quarterback.
Joe Ferguson was the quarterback.
We played, my rookie year, we played Indy.
Joe Ferguson was the quarterback in Indy in 1990.
And I think O.J. broke that record in, what, 73?
Right.
And he was the quarterback
for OJ and he was the quarterback at
Indy right
that's dope yeah we know
what happened but hey
that uh he was
a hell of a running back everybody wanted to be
32 Jews
everybody
the NFL find Jets linebacker
Quincy Williams
$45,020
for unnecessary roughness use of helmet
on the hit to Steelers Jalen Warren
last week
Quincy tweeted
how am I supposed to make this tackle
my shoulder ain't that far from his head
he lowered his helmet to make contact with me
I will not get ran over.
Flag football. Two-hand touch.
I agree.
Because my
instinct, Ocho, when I catch the football
and I know I'm coming, I'm going to race.
Yeah, I mean, that's
football in general. I'm not sure.
What the hell?
I don't know what they expect players to do,
especially as fast as they're moving on that field.
They're trying to change
the game and the way players
play on instinct and you react
in real time.
What's going to happen is if you try to change
up some of the things you do to protect yourself while
making a tackle, somebody's going to get hurt.
Yeah, exactly. Because you can't
hesitate. I can't hesitate as a tackler.
I can't hesitate as a receiver. Because my instinct, I know that hit coming, I'm going to brace every time. So I'm going to bring my head into the strike zone. Because he's aiming like, okay, I'm going to white the people. I'm not sure who the people are in charge. I'm not sure if the competition committee has anything to do with this.
If you watch film, if you know the game of football,
if you're a football guy and have been around it for a very long time,
you understand the difficulty.
And you're finding a player when there's only one,
only one way to make that tackle.
Yes.
There's nothing else.
There is no alternative.
There is no alternative.
Outside of you just stay high and he run right
through you. Exactly.
Exactly.
But, you know, a lot of times
guys get hit for hitting receivers.
Somebody, he's defenseless. No, that
got on him and showed a pass. He ain't defenseless.
Yeah. What he had to do
out here.
And when you go to catch a pass
and you know contact's coming, brace for it so you drop your
head down into the strike zone he might be trying to hit you in your waist but you're gonna brace
for that lick you ain't gonna like okay he gonna hit me in my waist no it ain't gonna get sawed in
half you want to try to absorb that blow as much as you possibly can it's just physics it's just
it is what it is. And I get it.
It's the quarterback phone.
You threw that F-ed up pass.
Hell, I be wanting to throw it back to him sometime.
No, you take it.
Let's switch positions.
I'm going to go out there.
I'm going to throw you one of these.
You catch it.
You tell me how you should have called it.
I agree with you, Quincy, bro.
I don't know how you're supposed to make the
tackles hey that's that 45 000 fan but that's a lot bro hey this is the guy running oh this
running back yeah so now they're hold on now they protect because the running back can't lower his
head right i'm like who runs through the damn hole chest high? Chest high.
Well, unless you...
Like you, E.D.
Like E.D. ran through the hole.
Or Roger Craig.
Or Roger Craig.
But I'm saying,
but for the most part, Ocho,
when you see contact coming,
you brace for it.
You got to get down.
You have to.
If you don't,
you're going to get hurt.
Yeah.
I mean,
I think a lot of people
need to be passing these...
Passing these rules that... yeah, I mean, I think a lot of people need to pass these, uh,
um,
passing these rules that,
uh,
ain't play no football.
Cause when you play football,
there,
you know, there are certain things just going to happen.
Yeah.

In the fall of 1986,
Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
No.
It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
I'm going to ask...
I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn.
In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra,
you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal
that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago,
but which few of us still remember today.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you.
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Russell had one glaring omission on his list of great coaches he's played for.
When talking to Yahoo Sports about getting his mojo back this season,
Russ spoke highly of his time
in Pittsburgh and his career in Seattle,
but he left off talking positively
about Broncos and playing under
Peyton Manning. I'm in a good place here.
Excuse me, Sean.
Oh, that's it, Manning?
Broncos and playing under
Peyton. Sean Peyton.
I thought he was Peyton.
Sean Peyton. I'm in a. It's called the Sean Payton.
I'm in a good place here in Pittsburgh.
I'm excited and I'm happy where my feet are.
Just focus where you are right now.
I look at it as a tremendous honor
and I don't look at it as a bad thing.
I get to play for Pete Carroll.
I get to play for Mike Tomlin.
Two all-time greats.
What are you supposed to say?
The man benched him.
The man put all the blame everything that transpired
his first year in Denver
he placed it at the feet of Russ
what was Russ supposed to say
Cardinal rule number one
you never chastise a player in front of your team
especially your quarterback
I agree
you don't do it on the sideline
in the middle of a game
hoping to get a reaction out of him
you know he wasn't going to put Sean Payton on the sideline in the middle of a game hoping to get a reaction out of him.
You know he wasn't going to push Sean Payton on the leg.
Absolutely not.
Absolutely not. I mean, at some point in time, I understand
Russell's a God-fearing man, but he's human
also. See, sometimes
people take the human element out of it.
Oh, just be the bigger person.
Well, damn. If I gotta
always keep being the bigger person, Ocho,
I'm hanging around too many small people.
God damn. I can't
always be the bigger man.
I like that one.
So, y'all,
oh, let everybody just say
whatever they want. Oh, you know, Shad, it's just words.
So, just let everybody just say whatever. want. Oh, you know, Shannon, it's just words. So just let everybody just say whatever.
Treat you however.
Yeah.
Nah, man.
I ain't got no problem.
I ain't got no problem with Russ.
I don't have a problem with Russ didn't say.
Right.
He didn't say anything.
I don't have a problem with what he didn't say.
Right.
I mean, I've been fortunate, Ocho.
I mean, for the most part, I've had,
got along with all my head coaches.
I ain't never had a problem with any head coach,
but I wasn't a quarterback.
So I have a different level of expectation.
I ain't really have no problem with no position coach. Mm-hmm.
I'm big on respect, don't you?
I'm big on that.
Especially when there's an interaction
and there has to be an interaction
between us, especially on
an ongoing basis.
You don't say yes to me
and I won't say yes to you. That's kind of
hard when you're the position coach or you're the offensive coordinator
or you're in a position where we're going to have to coexist.
Yeah.
That's kind of hard.
You know what I'm saying?
You know, you build a relationship.
They get somebody to one part of you mad.
Don't say if to me.
Whoa.
So how do you expect that to work?
Yeah.
You're in the kitchen. I'm in the kitchen. Yeah. You're in the bathroom. I'm in to me. Whoa. So how do you expect that to work? Yeah. You in the kitchen, I'm in the kitchen.
Yeah.
You in the bathroom, I'm in the bathroom.
Right.
Right.
You in the bedroom, I'm in the bedroom.
So how?
We're in the basement.
So how is that going to work?
Don't say nothing to me.
Don't look at me.
Yeah.
I ain't that listening shit.
Hey.
Nah, I'm just going to look at you now.
On purpose. On purpose. What you looking at? You? I ain't that listening shit nah I'm just gonna look at you now on purpose
on purpose
what you looking at
you
I ain't got no problem with Russ
didn't say hey man treat him
like stir fry so hell nah
ain't got nothing good to say
see I ain't say nothing good to say. I ain't got nothing. See,
I ain't say nothing bad.
But you can deduce by me
not saying anything. You can deduce
what I really think. Right.
And my mama said, if I ain't got nothing to say
good to say about somebody, don't say nothing at all.
I ain't had nothing good to say.
Okay.
Now we're back.
Goat James had his first triple-double of the season.
He had a 131-127 comeback win over the Kings.
LeBron posted the first triple-double of the season,
including 16 points in the fourth quarter.
The Lakers improved to 3-0 for the first time since 2010-2011.
LeBron finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists.
Look, I saw him the first night.
I watched the game last night, Ocho.
They were down by 22 points.
And I'm not trying to throw no shade on nobody.
But I'm not so sure they win that game
that they were down 22 points last year.
That's a game they end up losing.
And LeBron James and AD end up playing like 20-something minutes
because they done got blown out.
Or they gonna get...
LeBron, and all the
time LeBron got mad, and LeBron was
cooking, and then Rui Hachimura come
down there and
take a shot. LeBron was
like, bro, I done hit 10 on the road.
I done got 10 points in a row. Swing
that mofo. Swing it. He gotta read the room. I done got 10 points in a row. Swing that mofo. Swing it.
Hey, he's a mirror.
He got to read the room.
You got to read the room in that situation.
Yeah.
Ocho, normally they allow guys to take a heat check.
I mean, guys get cooking like that.
You see a guy come half court.
One step past half court.
Let it fly.
He had the timeline.
He had the logo.
He let it go.
Ruiz said, no.
Let me interrupt your normally
scheduled program and LeBron cook it
and try to get me one.
You always need the ball to the man with the
man with the hot hand. Get the ball to the man with the hot
hand.
LeBron probably want to get that ball to hit
Ruiz upside the head.
But he was cooking tonight.
Oh, and Anthony Davis.
Oh, man. Ant was cooking too. Oh, and Anthony Davis. Oh man.
And was cooking.
And was cooking too.
Oh,
and was,
and had 31,
nine,
three steals,
two blocks.
Um,
yeah,
yo,
uh,
he,
he,
but everybody played well.
80 had 31.
Roy had,
uh,
18.
Braun had a triple double,
uh,
32.
D low had his best game of the season.
He has 16.
Austin Reeves coming off of, what, 26-28 point performance last night
had 16.
And Westside Connect, Dalton Connect, had 10.
The most impressive, though, was the other night.
What was that?
Last Friday?
Last night.
Kobe on the Ozarks.
That's what I call Austin Reeves. Kobe or the Ozarks. That's what I call Austin Reed. Kobe or the
Ozarks. He was
cooking last night. AD been cooking the whole
season. AD going,
this is the AD that I needed
to see.
What if he stay healthy, huh?
It's going to be nasty.
If he can stay healthy,
play 70, 75 games,
it's going to be nasty, boy.
All we need is about 70.
We'll give him 12 games off.
Right, right, right.
Give him 70.
Yeah.
Give him 70.
But they played well.
They did a great job on the glass.
They cleaned over on the glass.
They needed to play well because Sabonis.
Sabonis always has big games against AD.
And he had another one tonight.
He had 29 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists.
Look, LeBron, the problem that he was having is that AD was getting outscored by Sabonis.
We know he's going to have more assists than AD because he runs a lot of the offense.
He'll get in the pick and roll.
He'll do the dribble handoff.
He's a great passing big man like his daddy.
Our beat is some bones.
But tonight, AD came to play.
He was 10 of 15, 10 of 18.
You missed three free throws.
They teed him three points.
Bro, get them points.
Get them points.
We've been 24-24, AD, had you made your free throws.
But I take it.
You'll give me 31-9.
You'll give us 31-9 with three steals, two blocks, and two assists. I take it. You'll give me 31-9. You'll give us 31-9 with three steals, two
blocks, and two assists. I take it.
But LeBron was sensational tonight. The Lakers
look good. The Lakers look good. Like I said,
I'm not trying to throw no at anybody.
But I think everybody can attest
this might be the best we've seen the
Lakers look this early. Probably
since 2020, and we know
they ended up winning the championship
down in the bubble. but they look good.
They definitely look better than that at any
point in time in the last three to four years. That's for
damn sure. Now,
Ocho, it's time for Q
and A.
Q and A. Let me stretch a little bit.
Go ahead.
Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy said,
somebody call the fire department because the
new merch is fire.
Yes, it is.
Yes, it is.
Appreciate that, Doc.
I appreciate that.
Hopefully everybody that's received their merch.
I've been seeing people post a little bit.
So hopefully you you really like it.
It's great quality.
There's a lot of thought and time that went into it to try to make sure we, we come up
with things that, you know, you like a lot, a lot of it's sayings.
Um, we probably going to have another, another drop here in the next two to three weeks.
Um, but we really, really appreciate your support.
Thank you, doc.
Cause you've been here from day one.
That's one thing I can say about doc.
And she showed up at a Vegas.
She showed up at Atlanta.
That's one thing. And she's on here every night.
So, Doc, we really appreciate that support.
We appreciate the support from all of you guys
that showed up for us in Atlanta,
Houston, Dallas.
We're going to be in New Orleans.
Hey, that's
going to be live, huh?
In the spring.
We're going to hit about seven cities in the
spring in the spring whoa whoa whoa we go we going on tour yeah hey hold on hold on hold on hold on
when is the spring like what month so let me know so i can give i get my schedule together i got
about i gotta buy my outfits huh i want to get my outfits early we're going on tour you ain't
going to school you ain't got got to buy no new outfits.
I know, I know, I know.
But, Unc, I got, listen.
Unc, I got to be sharp, man.
For what?
The tour.
Like, listen, I don't just want to dress like you normally do right now.
Okay, that's perfect.
No, that's not how I want to do it.
Listen, this is what I want to do.
You see how athletes like, like they, Un they, you got to do this too with me.
You know how, when they, when they walk through the tunnel, they got the camera and it's a
fashion show.
Yeah.
Well, that's what we need to have.
We need to have cameras that catches coming out the car.
You hear me?
And you got to have, you got to put that shit on and they can't just come out the car, you
know, and they got the video in slow motion and it gets the outfit.
So we got to do that. come out the car, you know, and they got the video in slow motion and they catch the outfit.
So we got to do that.
Right.
You know, we got to add that to, um, we got to add that to like a fashion segment for us on tour.
What'd you think?
No, no, but I'll let you go off.
I'm going to be comfortable up there.
Yeah.
No, we going to change clothes.
Listen, you do realize like on a tour, right? Yeah. No, we're going to change clothes. Listen.
You do realize like on a tour.
Right.
We're not at home.
Like I'm at my home.
So I can easily go upstairs.
I can easily.
Stay with me real quick, baby.
Listen to me.
When the dolphins go somewhere to play, right?
Yeah.
They get on the plane and they're comfortable.
They're comfortable.
When they at the hotel, the day of the game they put that shit on you know for for the for the fashion walk
into the stadium so when we fly to the city we're going let's say we're doing let's say we're doing
let's say cincinnati for example so when we fly to cinc, we wear our sweats. We wear our nightcap stuff.
But when it's time for the show,
wherever we go do the show at,
then we put that shit on
so the camera can catch us.
Where y'all wear sweats at?
Who?
Y'all.
In Cincinnati, y'all can wear sweats?
Yeah, you know, you wear team issue.
Sweat suit.
Not at Denver, you didn't.
Okay.
Okay.
Let's stay on topic now. Let's stay on topic now.
Let's stay on topic.
But we don't do that.
Yeah. Yeah. Ocho.
I got you. Listen, I'll style you. I'll style you.
I got you. I'm good, Ocho.
I'm going to be dressed just like I was
like in Atlanta, like I was
for Houston and Dallas.
No, you don't understand. We're going to change.
You can wear what you wear on stage. I'm just saying we got to put that
shit on to make our entrance to let people
know we coming in. We mean business.
We mean business. I'm going to say
we mean business when we come to a city
near you. There we go. I like that.
I like that.
Edwin Yancore. What's up?
Ogunnocho Merch is crazy. Congrats.
Again, appreciate you, bro. Thank you so
much. I really, really appreciate
that. Todd said,
how impactful is Rob Livingston
for CU Buffs?
He got the defense playing. Sometimes I think
he plays too much man coverage because
you notice at some
point in time, Ocho, until you cover that
back on the swing, they're going to keep running it.
Keep running, yeah. You remember they got hit up
for 75, 80 yards against UCL. They swung the back out of the backfield.'re going to keep running it. Keep running, yeah. You remember they got hit up for a 75-80 yard against UCL.
They swung the back out of the backfield.
They got the pick. Boom.
They swung him out of the backfield today. Got a touchdown.
They ran the rub on the goal line.
Got a touchdown. At some point
in time, hey, it's
okay to play zone.
To make a thank you to the man
and drop. But I think
he's doing unbelievable. I think Pat
Shermer is doing an unbelievable job.
He's coached in the
NFL. He runs a pro-style
offense. And I
think I don't have a problem with this.
And I think
time wanted somebody for
his sons last year that was in a
pro-style that get his son ready
to play in the pros.
Had him already prepared.
And I ain't got no problem with it.
So.
But Rob Livingston, the D coordinator, he's been great.
William Wright, Sharp, give us your honest opinion about Oshalo.
I mean, he's a thumper.
Oh, yeah.
He misses a lot of tackles because he's constantly going for the big hit.
And you're going to get that.
When guys go for big hits, especially if you don't have it.
Because, see, the thing is, it's easy to go for a big hit
when a guy can't go anywhere, Ocho.
It's hard to go for a big hit if he in open field or he sees you.
And, you know, look,
he got a 15-yard penalty.
You know, you just got to be
smart in situations like that.
You know you're right there on the
sideline. You grab the guy's leg.
He gonna
pretend like he got shot by a sniper.
So,
you just got to be smart with situations like that.
But,
what y'all want him to be, Ed Reed?
Y'all want to be Troy Palomaro?
I mean, I'm just trying to be.
He's good, though.
He's good.
I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company. The podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next.
In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi,
for a conversation that's anything but ordinary.
We dive into the competitive world of streaming,
how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold,
connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there's so
many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the
right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front
row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide, and hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space
and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets.
Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal
that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
It'll be interesting to see.
It's funny, when I look at time, I'm like, bro, you ain't get none of your kids your speed.
You selfish.
You held all the speed.
You kept all the speed for yourself, unless DeAndre or Bucky got it.
Somebody got it.
I don't know who, but somebody got it.
We know Shadur and Shiloh ain't got it.
I don't know who got it out of DeAndre, Bucky, and the youngest daughter.
But we know them two boys, they ain't got it.
They ain't got it they ain't got it Sonny Stanley say

They gave you two of them
for a reason.
And I don't understand
every time we win an award,
why is everything going to you
and not one coming to me?
They got my answer.
You know what, Ocho?
I asked that question.

wars that you don't have, and then

going to get. And let's see if they match up.
And let's see if they match up.
Hey, I'm going to
give you 30 days. If I don't get my awards in 30 days,
I don't mean to give you an ultimatum.
You know, you my people, man.
But I had to beat you up, man.
What's going to happen to James Harrison,
it can happen to you first.
You know what I said, don't you?
I'm going to tell you what I told one of my girlfriends.
She gave me an ultimatum.
I said, if you give me an ultimatum,
you say do this or that,
I'm always going to or that. Right.
I'm always going to take that.
Mmm.
You say this or else, I'm always going to choose else. Just cause.
Yeah. You ain't give me no choice.
Right, right, right, right.
You're trying to pull a red on me.
In five heartbeats, think you're going to
dangle me out the window, Ocho?
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

I'm going to have to do you like Sanford and Son then
do what for this Sunday. Do what?
I guess they assumed that when you took that one,
they were good.
No, because they don't even know I took it.
Kip Norwood Jr. said,
my question is, what's the feeling for Cam
Ward at the next level? Does he have NFL
or Ward in his future?
I guess he said like an MVP, Officer Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year.
What do you think, Coach O?
Situation.
Situation matters, depending on where he goes.
If he goes to the right situation, sky's the limit.
If he goes to a situation, to a team where, ugh, there's really nothing to work with,
it makes it that much more difficult for him.
And you know how impatient teams
are. You know how impatient
owners are. You know how impatient
the fans are. So where Cam Ward
goes is very, very important.
That's the most important thing.
And then, who's his
offensive coordinator? You see
Jayden Daniels? Yeah. You look at Kyler Murray, he had Cliff coordinator? You see Jane Daniels. Yeah.
You look at Kyler Murray.
He had Cliff Kingsbury.
Jane Daniels has Cliff Kingsbury.
Yeah.
The offensive mind,
because it has to be,
you have to,
you guys have to link.
You have to be in sync
in order for it to work.
Work, yeah. But yeah, I think he can be good.
I think he can be good. But like Ocho said,
it's contingent on where he goes
and who coaches him.
Rashad Williams said, Chad Ocho
Cinco is the GOAT.
TC the Trucker said,
Hey Uncle Ocho, today is my daughter
Charlie Rose's birthday. Could you please give her a shout out? Also Ocho, today is my daughter Charlie Rose's birthday.
Could you please give her a shout out?
Also, Ocho, could you sing happy birthday, please?
Charlie Rose!
Your dad wants to say happy birthday.
Happy birthday.
And hopefully you're having a good birthday.
Well, he didn't say how old she is.
But Charlie Rose, I'm thinking she's fairly young, Ocho.
I'm saying she's probably under the age of five.
Right, right, right.
But, uh,
TC the Trucker, thank you for your support, man.
Thanks for listening. Thanks for tuning in.
And, uh, happy birthday, Charlie Rose. Hopefully you got lots of cake

He turned 60
back on the 24th. He's a big fan.

milestone.
