Yeah, we've got clipped.
He muted.
What a clip of hoodie.
What a clip of hoodie?
He got the hat on.
He got the head on.
He muted.
Hey, mute.
You are my,
clip.
Okay, right, man?
Yeah, you good.
Oh, there you go.
Oh, we got you.
All right, big dog.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hold up.
Now all of a sudden you wearing a green hoodie.
Any other time you got on Los Angeles Clippers,
you got on Clippers.
Now all of a sudden you got a green hoodie on.
Uh-uh, hell me, you're going to change that, go quiet.
Hey, I'm always represented.
I'm always representing my cars downstairs, baby, you know.
It's always red, white, and blue every day, baby.
Boy, y'all in trouble.
That don't, that don't go have 25 people in there and they're going to all be family members.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.
Man, look, come on, man.
What's that?
What's that?
But I missed you that big three, though, Joe, man.
And you was rocking that baby.
Hey, hey, Clipper Derry.
Hell, I got to take some time off.
How can somebody else win any damn awards?
If I'm playing, let you take some time off so them boy can win some awards.
Man, I'll be back.
I'll be back.
And, oh, Joe, you cannot touch Joe, baby.
I put, I put every dollar I got on Joe.
Hey, well, I tell you what, if you're going to put every dollar you got on Joe,
when we play one-on-one, you definitely ain't going to have no money left.
I can tell you that.
Hey.
You just say something that money helps Steve Ball and play that fine.
You are there talking about you have to play that fine.
Yeah, Steve just got hit for 50.
He got 50 for the investigation plus another 30.
So he got 80 million in the hole right now.
He's going to be all right, though.
There ain't nothing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, let me ask you a question.
When you, do you think the punishment is too severe?
It's just right.
If what they're alleging against your clippers that transpired,
Kauai, they did?
this to circumvent the salary cap. Is this punishment too harsh or is it just right?
Hey, I want to stay in a super fan's place. I'm not, I'm not silver. And what he did, he felt
that, you know, that it was warranted. You know what I'm saying? Everybody was saying that
it wasn't warranted. Pablo came out with the story. But I just feel within myself of saying that
I'm a super fan of the Los Angeles Clippers, man. I'm a supporter no matter what.
We ain't got nothing but support now. But y'all.
You thought it was bad.
Y'all about to go back to the late 80th, early 90 Clippers.
You know how bad it was back then.
Yeah, it's starting all over from scratch, man.
It's like going in the kitchen, man,
and cooking from scratch, man.
You know.
You're going to take a long time for that meal to get prepared.
Hey, hey, and you know what else is, you know,
that Western Conference, it's so, it's so thick over there
in their Western Conference.
Clipper there, like, you're going to
some of those young guys that T. Loo Nem got over there.
Obviously, the developmental process, hopefully them guys can play a little above and above
their heads.
But, man, it's going to be tough for a while, you know, for the clip was in the Western Conference,
bro.
Like, they ain't going to really be able to make no huge additions to where it can really
change the franchise, you know what I mean?
But T. Liu's a great coach, man.
He's smart, man.
And he's a great communicator.
And one thing about him, he's talked to each player individually, man.
So T-Loo is definitely going to be all right, man.
I just feel like these guys got to come together
and listen to one another, man,
and get that camaraderie right, man.
They need to be in the gym right now, man,
getting their passes right,
because you know what you used to like it.
And you know, you just hit the threes.
Bro, you used to give it up.
They used to hit you right, your spot, Joe.
Joe, go, ah!
Clipper Darrell, you know, down where y'all get the hell to hell be that,
you're trying to do that rock, rock, rock,
Rob Superfan, oh, we got to come together.
We got to build some camaraderie.
Y'all is back to build nothing.
Y'all about to get down.
Don't doubt us, man.
Don't ever doubt this red, white, and blue, Shannon.
Shannon, this is what I do.
Y'all have us with Kauai.
Kauai gone.
Think about it.
Clipper Darry, you came out of the root work.
You used to be root like this here.
Yay.
Yay.
Yeah.
What about the clippers?
We own L.A.
We own L.A.
That's gone now.
All right.
Our way, baby.
LAI with my hands.
And shed it.
How many wins you think we're going to get this year?
40 will be a good number for y'all.
Okay.
If you get the 40, that's real good.
I'm thinking somewhere around 30 to 35.
Joe, what you thinking?
In the West?
Yeah, I think they can play 500 ball.
I think they can play 500 ball.
You think they go 41 and 41?
Yeah.
You want to make that bet?
You want to make that bet?
I most certainly do.
I was hoping you do that, walking right into the trail,
old.
You see, I didn't.
I knew he could have himself.
He can't have himself.
Hey, hey, Shannon, if they 500, if they 500 above,
you got to put a clipperedderelle suit on and come to the game and sit right next to me.
It won't nobody be in the other than me and you.
Ain't nobody going to see him.
The Clipper family members.
Take that bet.
Take that bit.
I like that.
Yeah, I think,
Clipper Nation, I think, man,
we're going to come together, man.
And we're going to be all right, though, man.
We'll come together.
Y'all come together and do what?
We're going to come together and support our team, man.
You know what?
You know, as greatest coach is T. Louis.
first of all,
Brandon Ingram and Darius Garland,
they're going to have to stay healthy, Clipper Darrell.
You know that's been the M.O.
on them, basically, their careers.
It's the inability to stay healthy.
Now, if they can stay healthy,
I think they can win 30, 35 games,
maybe 38, maybe,
because I think T. Lou is that good of a coach.
But it's not like y'all got a smorgasbord of talent over there.
Bradley Bill?
Six man of the year.
What?
Bradley Bill six men.
The last time Bradley Bill was healthy.
Hey, he's going to be healthy this year, man.
He, you know, don't worry about Bradley Bill.
He just had a new baby, new baby, too.
He's ready to come out, man.
Them Bill boys ain't no joke.
Okay.
Okay.
Man, Joe, don't listen to, don't listen to Clipper Dahl.
I mean, listen, listen, I see what he, I see what he's banking on.
Now, if Brad, if Bradley can come back and, you know, be somewhat of what he used to be,
Clipper Dary, then I mean, y'all might have somewhat of a chance to be what I think is 500 basketball.
Yeah, I'm saying 50 wins.
I'm going for 50 wins.
I'm saying 50.
Man, you don't damn.
Y'all didn't get 50 wins with Kauai.
What the hell you're talking about getting 50 wins without him.
We went younger though.
We went we went younger now.
So we're going to be all right, man.
I'm telling you.
Don't doubt us.
Don't doubt us, Shannon.
Even when Kauai came back after he missed those first 15, 20 games,
how many he missed.
When he came back, y'all were a different team.
he gives you an opportunity every night.
If you got a superstar,
you have an opportunity every night.
Y'all don't got that now, Cliff.
This is where Darry's Garland has to step up
and show that he's a true point guard
and get his boys right, man.
I'm telling you, man,
if them guys get in the gym
and don't worry about the outside noise,
because Joe can say this,
oh, Joe, you, y'all play the NFL and NBA.
When that outside noise get to you,
your friends are just talking.
to you and they tell you how better you are,
you have to sacrifice your game,
a little bit of your game for the better good
to win a championship, right?
Yeah.
You can't do it all by yourself.
So that's what they have to do.
They have to take out that outside noise.
Don't listen to their girls,
their friends, nobody,
and just listen to their coach, man,
and we can win.
I'm telling you.
Clipper Darrell, as long as you live,
don't you let me hear a championship
come out your mouth again.
I don't know what they have.
Hell, you thought this was.
This, oh, Joe, you heard this man.
This man said championship.
Hey, hey, he a fan.
Oh, you got, he a fan.
But I'll tell you something you said, Clipper Dura,
that's got some truth in it.
There's Garland.
He's going to have to turn into the prototypical point guard of today.
Like, he's going to need the average at least about 22, 23 points a night.
You know what I'm saying?
At about six, seven assists.
Yep.
Like, he don't have to be that guy, bro.
You know what I mean?
And then you hope like guys like Brandon Ingram come along and he's playing that second fiddle or the guy who is really putting up those numbers offensively.
But y'all going to need that, bro.
The West tough, man.
You're talking about they're going to be fighting for a player and spot.
No, no, no.
No. 16, baby.
50, 16.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
We got O'KC, San Antonio, Denver.
You got D.
Denver, Houston, Minnesota, that's just fine.
The Lakers, y'all not beating the Lakers?
Damn, Lakers six.
Come on, man.
You follow, you, you're muted.
Oh, and I'm muted?
Yeah, you're good now.
Go ahead, go ahead.
Now, I'm going to tell you,
I know we're going to have a better record than the Lakers,
so they're going to be at the bottom because y'all got the great white,
y'all got the great white hope over there.
You know, you know, we know,
We got brothers.
You need some brothers.
You need a couple of brothers over there.
Hey, get on the clip of there, because that's his team, too.
Exactly.
He's a Laker fan.
First of all, y'all ain't got not one player over there better than Luca.
I'm not sure y'all got to pay over there better than AR.
Why are you bumping them?
But you can't, you can't hold the ball for 20 seconds, man.
That game is over.
Luca has to share the ball.
If he don't share it, y'all will not win.
I'm telling you.
So what's going to be the reason y'all not winning?
Y'all going to share the ball and still not win.
No, we're going to win.
We're going to win.
These guys going to come together, man.
I think tragedy brings fans.
I think, you know, bad things bring fans,
the organization all together, man, and become one, man.
And that's what winning is all about.
Because if I would have told you that New York would have won the championship last year,
you would have laughed at me.
You would have said it ain't no way.
Right.
Yeah.
You know, but they won a championship.
Who y'all Jaylon Brunson?
And they, no, and they took that outside noise out.
They took the outside noise out.
It was no outside noise for them.
Who is Jaylor Brunson?
Jaylen Brunson didn't let that.
I watched Jaylen Brunson grow up because, you know,
his dad was a clipper.
You know that, right?
I know Rick Brunson.
He said that was the worst thing he ever did.
He believed that red, white, blue.
What did you said?
The worst thing he ever did was become a clipper.
But he talked to his son, man.
His son was prepared for this.
And you notice that he don't never get the big head.
He never feels like he's better than anybody, man.
He shares you with all his team.
And that's what I love about Kauai.
The Kauai is the same way.
It's about team.
And it ain't about I, I, I, I.
It's about team.
Nobody can win a championship by himself unless you playing tennis and golf.
Y'all can win a championship playing together.
We will.
Not of your lifetime.
I like the optimism, though.
I like the optimism.
Oh, Joe, Joe, I know we're going to get some feet on the wood
for about $100.
What?
We get course at the clip of game for $100.
I tell you what, wear some Jordan and some bronze and Steph Curry,
they might put our ass in the game.
Oh, shoot, Shannon.
You're taking us back to the sports arena now.
You remember those days how bad y'all was?
How bad you work?
They used to bring the fans from the, from the threes down in the sports arena, you know,
to a little good on campus.
You feel the bowl up.
I remember them days.
Yeah.
I remember that.
Hey, hey.
I know exactly what you mean.
I've been a part of some of that, Clipper Dere.
I know what that's like.
Exactly.
Clipperdale, man, thanks for being a good sport and joining tonight, man.
We wish you the best, man.
Stay healthy.
We're going to catch a game.
I'm going to catch a game with you.
Okay, let's do that, man.
Hey, but you know what?
When Shannon calls, man, you like E.
You like E.
But man, I got to pick up.
I appreciate that, man.
Have a good day.
Hey, Joe.
And Joe, you know we got that bet now.
Don't let them back out by a bet.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don't let them back out.
I got you.
And make sure you beat Ocho.
Invite me out because I'm going to be your biggest cheerleader, Joe.
I got you.
I got you.
There's somebody going to win 50 games.
Let's go, clear for us.
Let's go.
Yeah.
Yeah, let's go, Clippers, and take the Padres with you.
Bye.
I love the optimism.
Yeah.
That's how you got to be as a fan.
General manager, Harvey Roseman.
See you, Daryl.
Have a good one, man.
All right, baby.
Oh, hey, I don't know.
Okay, I thought you all picked me out.
Okay, I got to kick myself.
Yeah, we did.
You got to log off.
Hell nod.
Yeah, man.
I appreciate you guys, man.
Hey, Shannon.
Yeah.
You're going to look good.
in that red, white, blue suit, man.
Get your ass up on your chair.
Hey, log him out.
General manager,
Howard Roseman said he does not agree with the idea
that this is a make-a-break season for Jalen Hurst
to remain the team starting quarterback.
I think the bottom line for us is winning football games
and all the guys does is win football game.
That includes our head coach as well.
For me, the barometer is winning football games.
In terms of what Jalen does,
He's another guy with a tremendous track record.
All he does is go out there and play good football.
Really excited to have him as our quarterback,
excited about this season and what we have going forward.
I know there are a lot of fan bases out there that would love the results
we have with him as our starting quarterback.
Hertz is 57 and 25 as the starting quarterback in the NFL, all with the Eagles.
The passing offense has been a point of scrutiny in the recent years.
Last season, the Eagles finished 23rd in passing yards,
less than 200 a game.
He was 19th in QBR with a tick under 53.
The high salary offense and the NFL underperformed the whole season,
ranking first and three and outs and 19th in points per game at 22.3.
Ocho?
I mean, look at it.
Yeah.
Hey, A, uh, listen, look at those stats and where they were early in their career
when they won the football the first time,
they threw the ball a little bit more.
They threw the ball a little bit more.
Obviously, being able to run it well as well.
and to say a quarterback job is on the line,
two years removed from winning the Super Bowl,
is ridiculous.
It's utterly ridiculous.
I know there are a lot of gripes,
a lot of people that fuss about Jalen Hurst's style of play.
The way he plays, it doesn't throw the ball.
He doesn't anticipate throws.
I get all that.
But one thing you can't take away from Jalen is that he wins,
and he wins consistently.
He has a very, very good record.
And what they ask him,
what they ask of him to do in that offense,
it's not aesthetically pleasing,
like watching the Chargers,
or like watching Josh Allen or Joe Burrow
who throw the ball at a high rate every single game.
That's not what they ask him to do.
They just don't.
They run more of a balanced offense.
I think they run to open up the pass,
and that's the way it's always been.
And they've won with that formula
with Jaylon Hurts it to him.
Well, I mean, you can't do any more
than what's asked of you.
They don't ask him to throw the ball 35, 40 times the game.
They don't let them chuck the ball around the field like that.
That's not what they let him do or ask him to do.
So like you said, at the end of the day, the results about winning.
Yeah, you like to have Godi stats and win, but given the choice, I'll take the wins over the
goddy stats.
Yeah.
But we, and go ahead, Jocho.
I had you said that.
I'm going to let you finish.
But we don't have the Godi stats where you get ridiculous comments that has how it
Rosen having to speak out about it because the stats, the stats aren't guiding.
Well, he ain't going to have no gotty.
When you're running, how are you going to get guided stats?
Are you doing the tush push?
You run a quarterback draw.
What kind of guided stance I don't go have, Ocho?
Hey, you got to improvise a little bit.
You got to improvise a little bit.
I don't know if they allow that in that offense.
Well, listen, they have, is it, minion, manion?
Yeah, John Manning.
I'm assuming maybe, but you always want to protect your quarterback.
You always want to play to his strengths.
And when you play through strengths, obviously that's what you do best.
And that's what you do well.
Now maybe some weaknesses that he might have.
Maybe they've worked on those in the off season.
And we'll see a different version of Jalen Hurst.
But it's not something.
They're not going to change the whole offense and start running shotgun and throwing the ball 40, 50 times a game.
That's not going to happen.
He's just it works.
And what they've always won't do.
Hey, look, I think the hard part is because the Eagles have won it.
They've been at the mountain top.
But yet we're putting so much on Jalen Hertz.
Sequin Barkley was, I mean, look how great he was a year.
You know what I mean?
So I think the fact that Sequin didn't have a greater year as he had the year before,
it put a lot of pressure on Jailen Hertz.
And now this is why we're talking about this.
You know what I'm saying?
But, you know, I think if Jailen Hertz comes out and perform,
Obviously, if Sequin is playing at a high level running their,
you know what I mean?
I think the story is a little different.
I don't know if it's really much about Jalen Hertz.
I think it's more about Sequin if y'all asked me, bro.
The offensive line.
The offensive line was banged up.
Their best offensive line, Malay.
John was injured.
Landon Dickinson was injured.
The center was Nick.
They didn't have McCoy back to the right guard.
Wasn't as dominant as he was the previous year.
There are a lot of things that went wrong.
And the offense was so reliant,
the previous year.
And then when they won the Super Bowl,
on Sequin having that type of year,
the offensive line was outstanding.
I mean, he was going five,
he was getting five yards before anybody even laid a hand on it.
Right.
Yeah.
And you know what else that year they won a Super Bowl?
Seacquan was playing so well
and them having to put all,
having to put that extra man in the box,
Uncle Joe.
Yeah.
And it was time to pass it.
Yeah.
And AJ and Devante running wide open.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You run a wide open because you got no choice.
You know,
you at the mercy, your defense is at the mercy.
You know, because you got to stack the box
because of Sequin having so much success,
they're stacking the box and he's still.
You still getting it.
Yeah.
Still getting it going crazy.
That old line, they had the best old line in the NFL.
You look at the right tackle.
So what happened last year?
Right tackle, a right tackle,
a lot of it left, Lane Johnson at right,
Dickinson is what a top three guard?
Yeah, they were banged up, Joe.
They were.
But hold on, hold on.
Sayquan I almost had the 2,000 rushing yards.
What you mean?
ain't he supposed to be able to make something out of nothing.
We're talking about the top, the upper echelon of running back.
Yeah.
What he finished with, uh, uncle?
He had, he had, he had a decent season.
He had like 1,200 yards.
Shoot, that, that's good.
That's an 800 yard dip, though, Ocho.
Yeah.
Yeah, but we know why.
And them young guns, I don't think he made the Provo last year,
because that was a Bijon, uh, uh,
Jamir Gibbs and, uh, and Christian McCaffrey.
Hey, hey, them first two names you just called,
or what them are special.
I think, you know what,
Sequin is going to be able to take all the pressure off Jaila Hertz,
because I got a feeling,
then boy, going to get off to a hot start.
They need to.
Don't get off to a hot start.
Because who they open up with?
I don't know who they open up with, Joe.
I think they're going to have to get off to a hard start
because the NFC ain't no slouch.
You look at the Rams, you look at Seattle, you look at the 49ers,
you look at Green Bay, you look at Chicago, you look at Detroit,
you look at the Cowboys, they're going to have to get off to a hot start.
Hey, the first, the first, okay, they got commanders first.
Who opens up with a division game?
The Broncos, Monday night against the Chiefs.
The Cowboys do too.
And then they got the tightest necks, they got the Bears.
That's going to be a good one.
That'll be a good game.
That'll be a good game.
Yeah, wait, which one?
The Bears and the Eagles.
Yeah.
The Bears and the Eagles, man.
Woo!
Yeah, they opened up with Washington.
Then they got the Titans, then they got Chicago.
Then they got the Rams at home, Jacksonville at home.
Carolina at home.
You know, one of these games, this Jacksonville game must be overseas.
something because there ain't no way they got all these damn home game back to back to back to back
the back to back the back the back the back the NFL network game yeah that's an overseas game
they play in jackson bill overseas that's an 830 a.m game um and then they got carolina
dallas washington new york Pittsburgh Dallas Arizona ending Seattle Houston the back end of
their schedule is who Pittsburgh Dallas Arizona ended Seattle Houston San Fran the Giants
Hey, Joe, what your cowboy going to do with them eagle, Joe?
We're sending their ass up north.
Ain't that where the bird's flying on the bird fly up north?
Yeah, send them up north so far.
They're out of the winter, Joe.
All they fly?
We're going to send them south for the winter, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, Joe said, hey, Joe, you got a really got a lot of confidence in the cowboys.
Now, I hate it if they disappoint you.
I really do.
He do.
Hey, this is what I like about Joe.
Joe is consistent with it, huh?
Yeah, yeah.
He's consistent.
He like, he like Clipper Dyer with the Clippers.
No matter what.
Damn.
For my team, I like that, Joe.
What you mean?
I think we're going to be one of the best teams in the NFL this year.
Yo, I said that too.
How, I mean, what you're saying?
Oh, okay.
I'll act like I'm speaking Chinese or something.
Yeah.
Every time I bring the cow was up, he got something to say.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, y'all, y'all, y'all be all right.
Y'all, you know, I don't think they're going to be as good
this three what week three week three oh yeah three homie one we yeah when we see
you know yeah he'll get 300 run for a hundred now come on more than came
more than came with that come with now with that defense the line we got now with that
front we got we's not playing with y'all this year so I'm just let you know hey what
Derek here we go do huh who who chat you know what I might I might need to go to the
game what we're playing that we what we play y'all there is in Brazil
Oh, yeah, no, he ain't going on.
He'll be right here on watching that O-T.
Yeah, that gave in Brazil.
Damn.
But, I mean, look, I mean, they don't make you no bad brother.
Your team don't make, no, don't do what you think they're going to do, Joe.
Hey, Ojo, me, me, pick it.
Me, pick it in CD land.
This is where we're going to go.
I'm being in y'all with this all season.
We hit that thing, Joe?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
What my sight's there on?
I'm gonna have my shite there on y'all, yeah.
Yeah, okay.
Don't worry about it.
Hey, what would they play?
They play Baltimore?
Oh, we, we gotta put the seat on, huh?
Hey, we strapping that up.
Oh, that's old for y'all, Joe.
Who in the Rams?
And then, ooh, did you?
Ooh, ooh.
That's Philly schedule.
I can't wait for y'all get the Rams.
Miles Garry.
My, Mike, Miles Garry.
might have like six sacks.
Damn.
Against who?
Y'all?
Man, please.
Come on.
Come on.
Be for real.
AD might have three.
Kobe Turner have two.
Fisk have one.
Braddon,
oh yeah,
they might have 10.
There how many sex they're going to have?
How many sex they're going to have?
Yeah.
Man, come on.
God.
Lee.
Come on.
Come on.
I'm talking video game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, Cho.
That man ain't being realistic right now.
I can see it right now.
I'm calling it.
Man, you tripping.
You tripping.
You tripping.
Y'all don't try to come with a quick game,
but them boy, Jalen Watson and McDuffie.
They're going to be laying helmet.
They're going to be laying that helmet.
Well, they ain't got a couple of them.
And with y'all got,
if y'all right tackle,
I can see AD playing in that game with that right tackle.
Steel or Jones.
I hope they're watching this too.
Because if I still Jones, y'all hear that,
I need y'all to talk.
Tighten up, baby.
And tighten up.
They can do about that, Ocho.
Ain't nothing they can do about it.
Man.
Come on, man.
These receivers, man, they're getting out of hand.
Coastwide receiver, LeWan Treadwell.
Where is number 13 has told Keenan Allen.
He will not be wearing number 13 and ended.
Despite Allen wearing number 13 for his entire NFL career.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
Have you guys had any further conversations about that?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Me and Kenon spoke probably three times already.
And he was just like he's just like.
not really worried about it. And I know, like I told him, I said, I respect the game. I know what you did in the
number. Me and my family did a lot of praying about it as well. And so he was cool with me keeping the
number and we kind of smoked briefly about it. Like I said, a couple times. And we went forward from there.
So you did you guys are sticking where you are? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. How did you end up with 13? Was it? I
I mean, you've got a couple of numbers that you don't even heard here.
Is that have any significance to you or did you choose it?
So initially I came here.
I was in seven.
Chaviris came.
Then DJ came.
I was in 17.
And so then Ken it comes.
So I've been switching numbers a lot.
And so last year I really grew to like 13.
I was playing well in it.
Just everything about my family, we've just been, you know,
just falling in love with the number and just seeing me out there making plays.
And so having a great camp in it,
so I just don't want to stop that momentum.
Ocho?
I like that.
He's a former first round pick spent the majority of his five years on the practice squad.
You go to that team.
You're Keenan All-Ly.
Your 48 catchers for being the number third, all-time leading receiver
in NFL history.
I'm going straight.
I'm going straight to Ms. Ursey.
What you doing?
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hey, man, I've been here.
You're going to pick the number off his back?
I'm going straight to miss, you see what Odell did.
Wasn't the other than Odell wearing, Joe.
13.
But listen, hold up, hold up.
The man said he'd have been there a few years, three, four years.
He'd been there in three years.
He was just in Washington.
It wasn't looked at, hold on.
He wasn't looked at trade well in Washington.
You do realize, Joe, he went to Tennessee.
That was one of the reason that they traded AJ Brown,
because he was supposed to be AJ Brown.
Did we forget that?
I didn't.
Listen.
Listen, the man's a, he's from Ole Miss, too, Joe.
Is it?
Ash, look that up, if I'm not mistaken.
He was in Minnesota too, huh?
And didn't he play, didn't he play in Washington it last year?
Because I think he caught a touchdown on the Bronco.
He was at Baltimore?
Oh, I was thinking somebody else.
Who was I thinking about?
The one, the receiver, Burke.
Oh, yeah, yeah, Traylon Burks.
That's the one.
He from Arkansas.
Is it?
Yeah.
Hey, um, you were, yeah.
You heard what you know.
Yeah, look, Trappiebler drafted by Minnesota.
Yeah.
You know what I heard him said?
Huh?
I've been playing well in the number 13.
Well, yeah.
I've changed number twice already.
Yeah.
But I'm having a good camp and I think maybe
superstition, since I'm playing well wearing number 13,
I want to keep wearing it because I think that might be the reason why I'm playing as well as I am right now.
Hey, hey, and, hell, every time we get a new player, y'all think y'all
and shake me up and I got to get a new number
everything now. All right. I'm staying with 13.
Damn all that. I don't
care. Who come? Come over here. Here.
Jay Rice can come out of retirement. I'm keeping it.
Hey. Yeah. Odell can come over here.
I'm keeping my 13, bro. I'm tired of me and my family
them prayed on it. Okay, Ocho.
And yeah, I'm tired of changing numbers, man.
Every time we get a new player.
Now, I got to change my number.
The man says ain't a change number cover time.
He's tired of it. You got one more coming.
You got one more coming. Because I'm sure going on the stairs and talking to
Mr. Ers say about that.
I get it.
I get it.
People don't understand, Joe.
Them numbers, guys, I mean, man, people take that number serious.
Yeah.
Because a lot of times you've had that number, you've had that number.
I mean, a lot of guys have certain numbers, basically a whole, you know,
especially, you know, Dan Marino had 13 his whole career.
Yeah.
So some guys, John had number seven.
So some guys, the number means something to them.
It means numbers mean something different to every player.
And people like, oh, no, guys, that superstition,
I mean, it means guys do certain things.
Every single Sunday, every single game, basketball playing,
every single game.
And what's that thing get in you?
You're not changing.
I mean, I say that tongue in cheek.
I still, if I'm Keenan Allen, and I'm going upstairs,
the tail on it.
But if I've been his shoes, I'm keeping that number.
Hey, I ain't lying.
Hey, he said.
He said his family prayed on it now.
Yeah.
And God said, obviously, you got the message from God was to keep that number
because you're playing well in 13.
Yeah.
You notice in this interview, he said, I've been wearing 13 and I've had a good camp,
and I've already had to change my number two times.
I understand what Keenan Allen has done in the past in this number.
But boy, God said, I ain't coming up with it.
What God say?
Well, I'm saying, hey, when I'm going to get off a follow my deal and say, God,
will you ask Ms. Ms. Ursa to get me that number?
We both praying.
I hope, I hope Mr. Trillwell comes out and have a good seat.
I hope so.
Because if he doesn't, no, him not changing numbers is going to be the but of the joke.
He's played, this is a third year player for Andy.
He's caught, guess how many past he's caught in 12 games he's played in a joke?
Amen.
37, 38.
Zero.
Oh, man.
I'm trying to be funny, man.
What's his number for real?
In 12 games played in three years,
he's called zero passes.
Hey,
I think on your fantasy draft,
you should draft him by like seven,
eight round,
because he probably going to have a break out of year this year.
Yeah.
Mm-mm.
If you want to break out of last place,
don't select him.
Hey,
but what year is this?
Probably like five or six.
But if I'm not mistaken,
he,
did he break his leg?
He would,
He broke.
Okay.
He was drafted in 2016.
Wait, is year a 10?
Damn.
He went to Ole Miss, right?
Year 11?
Damn.
Man, you better get up off that jersey.
Get up up that jersey, man.
Get up up that jersey.
This man going in the year 11.
He spent the last five years on the practice squad,
Ocho, the majority of the five years on the practice squad.
See, that's what I'm saying, Jocho.
You remember,
When you and I was in the league practice squad,
you get like one, two years of the practice squad,
that was it.
You keep, be,
oh, Ocho, I thought the practice squad was for development guys.
If you were in your level, you ain't developing.
Maybe he's still developing, huh?
He just said he was, hey, boy,
I can't even fight for that one ever,
exactly.
Exactly.
You, oh, you know, hey, chat, y'all know if Ocho can't fight for you.
Hey.
It don't make you no bad brother, though,
because Ocho can't fight for you.
Ocho,
oh,
you start and start,
man,
I can't even fight for that.
Yeah,
hey,
come on now,
I'm,
I'm thinking this,
maybe, you know,
year four,
year,
you know,
year five,
something,
you know,
and trying to,
he's feeling good,
like,
come on,
young bull,
you know,
you know,
I love you,
but come on now,
come on,
baby.
You're 11th.
Yeah,
yeah,
yeah,
I'm going,
hey,
I ain't lying,
I'm going upstairs.
I'm snitching.
He already said it.
I don't care what he's saying.
I'm tired.
What the owner said?
Hey, man, you just got out here, partner.
They've been pushing me to the side every damn year for somebody else.
I'm sorry.
Don't push you out to leave you.
That's what you say?
They've been pushing me to the side for all these guys coming in, and I'm tired of it.
I'm tired of it.
Yeah, I'm sick of.
No, I ain't giving up my dad.
I went back to Denver.
Somebody had 84.
Did it?
All I know is when I got there,
he had Sharp on the back of it.
And his last name wasn't sharp.
Man, hey, I'm still 11 years.
11.
I'm still, come on, man.
Come on, man.
The practice squad used to fuck development.
Ocho, come on now, man.
You're not still developing in New Year later.
You know what?
This is a testament to the kind of person of you is.
I'm just telling you.
I mean, I met him before, cool dude, but I'm saying him still being on a team in the testament to the kind of person.
Oh, you got to have perseverance.
Yeah.
Got to be.
That ain't number of God, boy.
Damn.
You got to be a good dude.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
No, that wouldn't, that wasn't him.
I said, man.
I didn't know.
I thought he was like five or six years.
I'm like you, Ocho.
I did not know.
I thought it had to be, okay, maybe it's year five.
I mean, no one would, I mean, you got to be young to be worried about a number like that.
But 11?
He must be good on special teams or something.
Maybe.
Because you know, they ain't keeping no receiver with zero catches in three years,
played 12 games.
Yeah.
Unless he's playing special teams.
Yeah, he's probably really good.
But I'm still, I'm, Joe, I'm snitching.
I'm going up to the owner.
Hey, I'm a little.
Make sure don't nobody see me.
Think, ding, think.
Go right on upstairs.
Hey, Kahneman, how are you doing?
But you know what?
I mean, hey, what, because of, of Kinnan Allen
and the records he's going to bring,
I think he needs 40 more catches, you know,
to go in, you know, third all time at the receiving position.
I would, the call would be coming from upstairs.
It shouldn't even be coming from, from Keenan.
This is because of what he's accomplished in 13.
What 13 represents.
with the last name Allen on the back,
I wouldn't even want to,
I'm handing that over.
Hey, listen,
I know you where 13,
you know,
based on what you've done in the NFL,
it's slagher boy 20,000,
man.
I ain't going to get it to you for free,
slagiport 20,000.
And go ahead so you can continue.
I'll slide a little quick.
Yeah, I mean, but just know,
and, you know, I prayed about it with my family.
For what?
Not disrespectful.
I'm just saying.
I mean, but, hey, he has his reasons.
He says he's been playing well in camp.
I wish young boy none but the best to see him.
Being an impact on that field and whatever role they put him in.
Yes.
Lamar Jackson's five-year $260 million contract expires at the end of 27.
But Eric DeCosta expressed optimism a deal will get done.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
I would say I'm optimistic.
Yeah.
Nothing else to expand.
I mean, I feel I'm optimistic.
I feel good about it.
I know you don't like to get into details,
but what kind of fuels the optimism for you compared to the same thing 23.
I mean, I really don't want to get into details, right?
Yeah, I'm not going to talk about it specifically.
I think Lamar and I have a pact, as you all know,
I've said probably 50 times.
We're not going to talk about business publicly.
And, you know, it's a different type of negotiation
because it's a different type of negotiation with Lamar.
I understand it wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly.
And knowing Lamar, knowing him personally, you know, for all these years,
even before we got to the NFL, he ain't even think about that deal, though.
Yeah.
He didn't even think about that.
Hey, once football's a star, for that.
Yep, he locked in.
Moms, I take care of all that dirty work.
Yeah.
I call that the dirty work.
That's going to take care of itself.
And when they take care of itself, the number is going to be exactly what they're supposed to be.
based on his value and how much of an asset he is to this team.
Right.
So that's going to take care of itself.
I definitely agree.
And I think the thing is,
the last time he was a one-time MVP,
now he's a two-time MVP.
He'll be 30 years old.
He's about to be, he'll be 29.
29.
Yeah.
Even to get an old, another bad.
So the question is,
my home boy, my home boy is that 64 million?
Is his car, is it going to top that?
Now, I don't think it'll top that in total value,
but an annual value.
Yeah.
Because he,
the home boy is half a billion.
Hold on.
Mahal's making 64 years.
Boy,
he gonna be up there.
Okay,
Ocho.
The question is,
I don't think he passed it
in total value.
My home boy is north of half a billion.
I don't think he gets there.
But the annual value,
I think he's more concerned with annual value
and guaranteed money
as opposed to,
oh, I got a contract
worth 600 million, but I only got 100 million guaranteed.
What good is that?
No, guarantee me by 200 mil.
Guarantee me 230, 2.40.
Now we can talk.
Whatever it is, hey, whatever it is, it's going to be respectful.
I can tell you that.
This is what you're going to do.
Whatever Josh Allen got guaranteed, give me a dollar more than that.
No, no, no, make it $2.
Take it $2.00.
Whatever.
I don't know what he got.
guaranteed. But whatever he got
guaranteed that.
Oh, Lamar. Yeah, oh yeah.
Look. I just, I think, but he
has to have some level of frustration
because he's the only quarterback that has to go through this twice.
Remember, he played one year on the franchise tag, Ocho.
No other quarterback. Dax had to do it.
Dach did it one year. Then they came back and they took care of Dack.
And they've been taking care of Dack ever since. He's like, I got to go through
this again. I got to go
through this again.
Yeah.
He ain't tripping, though.
Like man
To make
To make the most out of the situation
You can't you can't really be tripping
Okay, OJ you just got to keep your head down
And keep working bro
And then you know
That'll take care of itself
You go out there and do what you're supposed to do
That take care itself
It gets hard though
Because I've been doing what I've been doing Ocho
He can still do it huh
He can do it again
Y'all know I'm supposed to have three MVPs
I mean y'all might have made the call
Y'all madame made the call
and told the NFL to get to get the
to Josh
I'm just saying let me stop
four people say Shatter Sharpe said
Baltimore Ray was called him
let me stop I said that tongue in cheek
no I thought it
I really did because he was the first team all pro
quarterback that doesn't happen very often
the first team pro quarterback
when he's in the running for the MVP
he normally wins that award
or less a running back
but a quarterback
that didn't make first team so how did that look
so hold on you're the MVP of the league
but you're not
the best quarterback.
Yeah.
I was confused by that.
I'm not,
and I think it happened.
I think it's happened before,
but I was,
hell,
I was confused by it then.
I'm confused by it now.
Yeah.
So what you think,
what you think?
What you think the annual value
going to be?
You think it's going to be north to 64,
60, 62, 63, 64, 65?
Probably 65.
Oh, he's going to clip.
You think he's going to clip from home?
Don't you think you know.
Ocho said so, yeah.
Oh, no, he's going to eclipse, he clips Josh Allen.
Oh, you're talking about Josh Allen as far as guaranteed money.
Guaranteed, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Yeah, absolutely, yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, that's, that's the thing.
That's what I'm looking at.
Hey, I'll take 270.
If you're going to guarantee the whole thing, I would.
Right.
Yeah.
Oh, Joe, I don't care.
Hey, all the, man, they start, because all they do is that they put all that big
money you know down where you ain't been to getting no 600 million.
I put it all they put it all that's gonna be borderable years.
Yeah.
Nah.
Garan's you the whole thing.
Yeah.
We don't,
hey, y'all think they'll do that though.
No.
Yeah.
No.
In the perfect world, yes.
No.
In real life, no.
Because if you think, if you think about it with the exception, nobody's ever had a contract.
two people really basically
play guaranteed contracts.
That's Deshaun and First Cousins.
First Cousin,
because think about it, he went from
franchise to franchise to three years
for $91 million, and he come back
and got another three years for $100 plus million,
and he got another $100-something million
from the Falcon.
So he's never played on anything
but guaranteed contracts.
I have to betting on themselves twice, though.
Yeah, he'd on himself twice.
So it's going to be interesting to see, but I think, hey, look, he's played well enough, whatever, whatever he gets, he will have earned it.
He's a heart and soul of that team.
They're not going anywhere without him playing at an extremely high level.
And if he's healthy, we know the level that he could reach.
Yeah.
He said the reason why he didn't run a lot last year, that was hurt.
Well, I hope he's healthy this year.
by any means necessary.
If you got to throw for $300,
throw it. If you got to run for $1.50,
do that too.
If you need both of them in the same game,
especially against the Cowboys.
Boy, please let that man have, like,
let that man have, like, 3,
how that man have, like,
325, three touchdown,
another 50s.
You think it.
You're thinking.
You're thinking.
For a buck 22 and another tub.
Derek Henry.
God, me.
Run for about 142.
Damn.
Hey, you think about the old cowboy defense that we had.
We ain't got that.
I'm like the guy.
Now, you think about that old defense.
That old defense is gone.
Hey, it's a new defense now, huh, Joe?
Well, we got, hey, we got some new stepers in the building partner, and we're not playing.
You hear me?
We're not playing.
Hey, Joe, hey, Joe, you're talking with the basing your voice too, Joe.
You better be lucky.
We don't play them damn bangles.
Oh, Joe, that would you better be lucky with.
Now, see, now see, Joe, I was with you.
I was with you all the way till you brought up my bangles.
Don't, don't do that.
I was, I'll get you all the way.
I ain't saying nothing about you.
I ain't said nothing about the cowboy.
I just got a little.
I got me amped up so you had to,
I had to take off on you too.
That's just how I go.
I got your up to what I do.
Yeah, you're talking about my cowboy.
You're saying about that old defense
who's giving up all them points by our secondary
with ass trans.
We back now.
Y'all.
Hey, you see that.
You see they got.
Now y'all ain't ass trash.
Y'all is, you know.
Brad juice.
Hey, Joe.
Hey, you see they brought Brother Milton back on?
He didn't clear what you clear away.
What I tell you they're going to do, Ocho?
Yeah.
Joe, what I tell you?
What I tell you?
You were right.
Hey, listen, I, I just made up a scenario
to everybody jumped on my head.
Oh, you really, you really thought he was going to, no.
I didn't think that because if that was the case.
I mean, I was just creating a scenario in my head and said,
maybe would it really happen?
Probably not.
You know, and they're jumping on me.
Ah, Ocho, what you think now?
He clearly where it was.
Well, duh.
I would just make something up to, you know, to have conversation and something to say.
Hey, can I ask you all a question, though?
Take your time.
Dallas, Dallas let him go.
Does it say something about Joe Milton that none of these other teams was willing to pick him up?
Because they might have wanted to pick him, because here's the thing, Joe.
They might have wanted to pick him up and put him on their practice squad, but they couldn't.
Because if you've claimed somebody out of waivers, you've got to slap him.
him to the active roster.
Yeah.
And him coming in
and signed him to the active roster.
He hadn't run the-
It takes a roster spot away.
Hey, hey.
So in other words,
Jerry out here playing chess
while everybody else playing checker.
Yeah, okay.
I felt that's why he did it.
I think he felt that there's a better chance
if he put Will Howard out there on waivers,
somebody would claim him and sign him to the active roster.
Yep.
He rolled a dice.
He hit his point,
and they got back.
guy stays in the system again
for another year.
Hey, try to do this thing all over again.
Yeah, I think with
Hal, I think the Cowboys
was willing to go with experience
versus
prodigy. You know what I mean?
Like, we know Joe Mill got the
better upside, but the fact that Sam Howe
has started 18 games
in the NFL, okay, oh Joe.
That means something. You know, essentially, yeah,
It does. It really does mean something.
Because we talk about Milton,
and obviously he had a hell of a preseason,
but he has no experience,
especially no starting experience.
And I think with Dallas,
if hopefully don't,
but if that does go down,
they want somebody who they can trust
in that offense, bro.
That's what they want.
And Jerry rolled a dice,
and they played it right.
They played it correctly.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, this is.
Aaron Roger was asked about the interception
he had at practice.
You'll never.
believe his response.
Listen to the.
It's through that and obviously I talked to him about it with advice and stuff.
So you just bring to that.
Yeah, Roman made a repeat mistake.
You know, that's a good learning because I don't think he's going to do that again.
But he did the same thing in early in training camp and we said, hey, on that under route,
you got to keep coming.
So I think it's the best that happened in practice.
Roman is a great kid.
He's at a fantastic camp.
I have utmost confidence in him.
Yeah, he's going to have to play.
big role for us. But mistakes can happen. That's a great one to happen in practice. But
he's gotten a lot better and I'm really proud of him. I like that. I like that. I like it.
If you're going to make mistakes, get it out of the system now. Because listen, you're making
them here and you make them in the game. I ain't throwing you the ball. The key word he said,
he's gotten better and I got trust in him. That's the two things you need from your quarterback,
especially a Super Bowl winning quarterback who's on his last.
year who's going to need everybody to be on point and do everything the right way.
Because if you don't trust you and get in the ball.
Me personally, I would have preferred him to pull him aside and say,
you just is the second time you've made that mistake.
That's what, that's what he probably, that's what I would have preferred.
Second of all, oh,
Chow.
Damn it.
How many times on the under route and the slant route you can't stop?
I'm throwing it on anticipation.
If you throw the ball, I'm going to hit the DB in the effing chest.
It's not that complicated, man.
Damn.
That's rock running, one-on-one.
You can't stop on the route,
especially if it's a ride when you got to cross the guy's face
because he's throwing it in anticipation you're going to cross his face.
If you pull up and try to reverse back out,
I've let the ball go.
I'm going to hit the DB in the chest.
It's going to be a pick six.
Every time.
Damn it, son.
How many?
Practice.
Hey,
hey, get his ass out of this.
Yeah, I mean, you got,
I got to send you a message, bro.
He said he did this one time before earlier in camp.
Now here we are now,
and you make the same mistake.
You cannot give up on the under route.
There is, you can't reverse on the under.
You can't reverse on a slant.
I'm throwing it.
My back foot hit.
I'm letting the ball go.
Yeah.
The season starts.
It's not like I got the ball on the string.
I can throw it.
Oh, he pulled it back here and then throw it again.
Come on, bro.
Hey.
Y'all are talking about beach.
Oh, you should be a coach.
I wish I might.
Man, my blood pressure, man, please.
Hey, I'm just thinking about that under route, man.
Man, man, man a zone.
Zon.
Sit your ass in that home.
Oh, man, boy, keep your ass going.
Keep going.
Hey, boy.
Oh, man.
You know what I'm saying, Joe?
Yeah.
And here we are making the same mistake.
You know, you got general rule of thumb.
If it's a route where you have to cross the guy's face, you've got to cross his face.
As a defender, you never let a person or the offensive player cross your face.
That's a no-no.
As an offensive player, you always cross the guy's face.
It's a match of wheels.
I'm not supposed to let you.
I'm supposed to get across.
It's really that simple.
The guy's going to pick it.
If you start the under or you start to slaying,
if that guy can catch, he's going to pick that ball
and he's going to the house.
And everybody's going to be looking at Aaron Rogers.
Like, why did you throw it?
No, I threw it because he was supposed to cross the guy
that's why I threw it.
And we practice this every single day.
And that's the general rule of thumb. You cross
the guy's face. Those are
two routes you absolutely have to
cross the guy's face.
And you know what's going to happen in the game?
What's that? That exact same scenario.
It's going to happen in the game.
Because they're doing it in the practice,
you're going to get that look at the game too.
Hey, he's going to be ready, though. He's going to be ready in the game.
I hope so. Because
the season starts in the week
and you're still making a mistake a week out before the
to start. Man, when your quarterback come out
and put you on front street like that, that's
embedded in your head, okay, Ocho.
Yeah, yeah. I wish
Aaron would have pulled him to the side,
not sharing that to the media.
Hold on. He probably did that in practice.
Yeah, do it again.
Hey, hey, that's where you put your arm
around his shoulders, say, look here, son, come on now.
I believe in you. Yeah.
I believe in you. We're going to be
counting on you to make plays.
I'm listening to those key words that Aaron Rogers said too.
He's gotten much better.
I'm proud of him.
And I trust him.
But when the quarterback don't have trust to throw you that ball
because he's not sure if you're going to be in the right place or not.
Yeah.
Especially somebody like Aaron Rogers,
who's probably the best of the ball in general.
Man, you got to be on point.
Are you?
I'm like, bro.
to make some quarterback more upset is that something that we've already discussed a mistake
that we're supposed to have to clear it up and you go make that mistake again now something
if something is not is not connecting either the way we teach it or the way you perceive it something
what what is getting lost in translation I think that was the name of a movie lost in
translation yeah that was a good movie because that's
the relationship aspect.
You're in a relationship, Ocho?
Y'all got to speak the same language.
She can't speak Spanish
and you speak in Mandarin Chinese.
Either you learn Spanish
or she learned Mandarin
so you guys can communicate.
Well, bro, I thought we had this.
So we just went over this.
And guess what?
You effed it up then.
Yes, sir.
And I asked you, I said,
what didn't you understand
about the under or the slant
that you got to keep running,
that you got to cross the guy's face?
What is it that you're missing?
What is this, there's something, is the translation,
is what I'm saying and not computing?
What is it, son?
Aaron probably over there like, oh, Lord, have a boy.
I could do, I can't do it, no, Joe.
I can't do it, I can't.
No.
Listen, they might, it might, it might be different coming from you.
They're going to be different.
The way you coach it, your delivery,
they probably won't make any mistakes
because they get it right the first time.
The way you coach.
No, they're going to get it right.
You got it.
He got a point.
He got a point,
is who is coming from.
If they ain't getting right with Aaron Rogers,
they damn sure he'll get it right for me.
Yeah, the messes may be a little different from you.
It is, because the first time you effed up.
The next thing you'll catch
is a plane up out of here.
Hey, you know, if anything,
you need to go Coast Savannah State.
Oh, man.
I'm just saying, I mean,
Listen, I'm, I'm not,
why would they do the fame of you?
Who?
So I kill out of state.
But hold on, you really think we're going to lose that game?
Y'all going to lose the game.
I ain't saying y'all going to lose like that,
but y'all are going to lose.
Yeah.
Nah, never that.
Nah, these kids don't like old school coaching.
They don't, they don't like that.
Too much.
Too much.
And I'm, and I'm already,
I'm already a yeller by nature.
I can't keep going over.
what we do, Ocho, how many times we practice these plays?
We practice on Monday, we practice on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Thursday, Friday.
Okay.
And walk through Saturday.
We walk through Saturday.
So we get to the, and then with that night, we go over, Joe, the first 15.
The first 15 plays that we're going to run in the game, we don't practice them.
Yeah.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, walk through them on Saturday.
Get down Saturday night.
Okay, these are the plays that we run.
These are the first 15 plays that we're going to run.
Yeah.
damn.
And you think I'm going to be okay with that.
And we don't go on over it four times.
We walk through the first 15 Saturday morning.
We discussed the first 15.
Now, mind you, Joe, we installed here at the first 15 plays that we're going to have Saturday
night.
Guess what?
We're going to walk through them.
Then we discuss them again Saturday night.
Yeah.
I'm out last year.
Because I feel you're trying to get me fired, but I'm outlasted.
I would tell you, like coach told one of my players, he said, son,
he was supposed to be on, no, he's supposed to be on PAT, uh, a block.
First of all, he told him to go in there and watch the boot.
They've been practicing all week.
What do you do, knife down?
Quarterback boot outside, 15 yards, run out of bounds.
Next play, they scored touchdown.
He could, he called him out the game.
He's supposed to be in there on PAT.
End up having a call timeout.
he got on Monday he said
he said I don't know what's going to happen
but I did recommend we cut you
you
that's the kind of coach that I'm used to
that's how we grew up
yeah
and those coaches they keep telling
oh cho them coaches they keep telling you stuff over
and over and over and over
you got one time maybe two
depending on how good you were
hey hey and guess what
They knew you couldn't go no damn
where neither. You had to stay put. I don't care
where you was at. Yeah, they knew that.
Different day, fellas.
It is. It absolutely is.
I was like,
I just don't get it.
Like I said, I get Aaron's frustration.
I just wish he to keep that inside,
pulled a young man to the side.
He says, hey, that's twice.
But that's been him, man.
He's done this before.
That's been.
That's been one of my gripes
is that when players make mistakes on show,
we don't put them out on front.
Yeah.
Now, I'm going to, don't think I ain't going to,
hey, I ain't going to tell the media,
hey, but we get behind closed doors,
I'm going to let you have it.
Because we went over that, son.
We went over on Wednesday.
You said you had, we went over on Thursday.
Oh, and you did it.
You did it.
But a lot of times what happens
is that as long as the DB don't try to make a play on the ball,
he's going to keep coming.
Soon as the DB try to make a play on the ball,
you all of a sudden you think you're going to reverse pivot.
Even if we get a collision and the ball hit the dirt,
you've done your job.
You just can't not cross his face
and let the ball get picked, son.
That's it.
Sometimes it's not about you catching the ball.
You need to explain that to him.
Sometimes it's not about you catching it.
It's making sure that motho don't catch it.
I'll catch you.
Yeah.
All right, now it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q.
It's a.
Hey.
Hey, Joe.
What's that there?
Kris cream?
Krispy cream.
Yeah, this is my dinner tonight, but.
Damn.
Man, I did not know.
Ocho. Joe, you know Krispy Kreme don't know,
damn their $17, $20 a dozen?
Nah, I didn't.
I ain't ate Krispy Kreme.
I don't know how long.
And if they keep going up in price like that,
I won't be eating them.
They got the hot sign on, Ocho, when you went over there?
Yeah, the hot side was on.
Yep.
I just got half a dozen, though.
Just like half a dozen.
Just a little.
Regular glaze?
Yeah, regular glaze.
That's all I want from ribby cream.
You heard me, Joe?
What's that?
It's just my little cheat meal for the day.
You know, it's my cheat day.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
You got six of them thing.
You're going to put six down, huh?
All six are, Joe.
Right now.
You ain't, you know, I want them up a little bit?
$9, $10?
Hold on.
On the receipt is say uh yeah they don't need to tell you how much it is on the receipt, huh?
You door dashed or you bought it when they bought it.
Goadash because the hot the hot light was on. Yeah, they ain't got the price on that Joe.
I'm saying you feeling you're gonna get right to it ain't. They probably
yeah they probably would you chase on with that's probably about 20 some $20,000
little Joe.
Coke. Yeah. Oh Joe boy if I eat that boy that's already that about five.
six pounds on me.
Joe, I'm, I'm trying to gain.
You'll see how big I don't got when I see you in Houston Friday.
I don't put,
I don't put on 15, Joe.
15 what?
Pounds?
Hey, Joe, I've been in the gym.
Here, I'm talking about going, Joe,
just in case, I'm preparing for you.
You, they ain't going to be enough partner.
I'm sorry to you.
Like, I don't know what you think this is.
Nah, Joe, just to be able to withstand the forest
because you, you know, you're a bigger person.
So I'm talking about when we play basketball.
Hey, hey.
You know, when you try to crash down, you try to give me that, I got to be able to,
I got to be able to withstand that thing.
Hey, hey, uh, I pay attention to my opponents and if my opponent eating crispy cream, drinking
Coke, boy, you, you're going to be in for a long damn day mess with me.
You throw that up, Joe.
Hold on time out, Joe.
What?
No, no, Joe, this has been my diet all my life when they come to competing.
This ain't going to change nothing.
So if you're looking at what I'm eating, it think you're going to have a chance with me,
that's what you're wrong.
And the problem is, here's what you understand.
You ain't never played against nobody like me, Ocho.
That one I'm trying to tell you.
Joe, what you talk about?
I played in Summer League, not here in Miami.
Joe, we're playing just like you.
Yeah, you ain't do nothing in them damn summer leagues there.
I scored by eight points.
The whole time, Kauai was quiet because he was backdoor in Kauai Lab,
bro had everyone food.
I mean, I'm sure a lot of people knew.
Yeah.
A lot of people knew.
Yeah.
Yeah, people knew they, hey, hey, hey.
You want to say nothing, nah?
Yeah, they're just chilling.
They're laying low, acting like they don't know what going on.
That's how they're supposed to do.
Yeah.
Ain't none of my business.
Yeah, hello.
Because when people, it was brought to everybody's attention,
and everybody said it was sour grapes.
They're just mad because Kauai signed with the clippers
and not Toronto or not the Lakers.
But then no one asked the question,
why didn't he sign with Toronto and the Lakers?
Toronto had a fifth year
Toronto could have offered him more money
Yep
I know the Lakers was his team
Ain't nobody grew up rooting for the Clippers
Even if you lived in L.A., you rooted for the Lakers
Nobody but Clipper Darrell
That's because they fan base
The Lakers fan base don't need any more fans
Don't need any more fans
RIP to middle school, high school
and college football players who have recently passed away.
Yeah, it's sad.
I read about this NFL player that tragically took his life today.
They cussed me out on Twitter
because I just put the dubs
because of the reason on why he must have killed himself.
I ain't know none of that.
I just put the dubs, you know, as in rest of peace, you know.
I didn't do my homework on white patch away.
Yeah.
They're going at me.
for saying, you know, we're putting a little door.
I mean, I ain't, I don't know.
What we're supposed to say?
Ain't nothing you can do about, I mean,
he was dealing with some things.
He said the demons and he couldn't,
he couldn't get over it, you know.
Damn.
Ooh.
Then let me have it, boy.
$30 million fine for Steve Barmer is like 30 cents
for regular folks.
Yeah.
You're worth $170-something billion?
Come on, man.
That's his day.
Come on, man.
That's a big.
0.00.0.01% of your network.
Uncle Dennis and Dejan Love at the same morning meetings.
Oh, man.
Hey, hey.
Who said that?
Road, run, ride.
Hey, that's a good one.
Hey, they still bringing up different voice notes from that dude, man.
That Dejaunleon.
I mean, it's over now, man.
Nah, they're going to air him out.
They airing him out.
Oh, they airing him out.
The LBI going to air him out.
That up scooped him now.
Well, that boy, hey, that was a mean scheme.
That boy ain't going on.
He had a nice little cheek cone going on.
Hey, he was a trip, boy.
Also, the clippers couldn't win anything but ticket sales while cheating.
That's the thing.
That's what I'm telling Joe, somebody, they got to go for it.
Joe, they lost 10 first round pick and Shay.
If you got, if you got one NBA title out of that, you say, you know what?
it was worth it.
Because considering they haven't had,
they haven't had a championship team ever.
So if you get one,
you know what,
it was all worth it.
I'm sure Clipper Nation,
whatever they called themselves,
I'm sure they'd have been happy with that.
But to not get anything out of it
and the guy that you did all this for
that cost you all this,
he's not even there anymore.
Yeah.
Hey, it hurts,
but,
It was a point on, Ocho, Kauai had it going on.
If he don't get hurt in that Phoenix series,
I think that's the year the Phoenix went to the finals.
And remember they played the clip was in the,
I don't know if there was the second round or the semis,
but Kauai hurt his knee and he didn't play no more after he,
I think they were up like 2-1 or something like that.
He bumped his knee, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So I think they've had situations or opportunities
to where they could have been, you know,
at least been in the finals,
competing for a championship,
but the injury is just derailed them, bro.
27, 28, 29 picks already traded for PG.
If I remember correctly, you're right.
They don't have any first round picks.
They do now because they will have Toronto's.
Toronto's.
Yeah.
If I'm, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if, if,
So Kauai made extra millions and only got five,
seven hundred thousand no suspension, not a bad profit.
You absolutely, that's what I'm saying.
He just Nick, he didn't even Nick Kauai.
He nicked, what you call him?
You don't think that's 700,000 going to hurt?
That man, come on.
That man probably, if the reports are true,
50, 80, maybe an extra 80, 80 to 100 million,
if somebody said, oh, you think it was that much?
If somebody say, Elcho, I will give you,
I will give you 100 million.
I'm going to give you 50 million.
You just got a right-in-a-check for 700,000.
You take it or leaving it.
I'm taking it.
As reported, Joe, one of those things was like a $28, $30 million,
and all he had to do is just show up.
It didn't even show up.
Boy, that sounds like a...
Oh, he didn't?
Boy, that sounds like a sweet deal to me.
I know, hey, I would have signed up for that one, too.
I ain't going to lie to you, Chad.
They didn't have me, boy.
I'm going to show up.
But the thing is when you look at it, look at Kauai's personality.
That ain't Kauai's personality go be in no meet and greet
and sit down and chew the fat with people.
That ain't, that ain't high.
He ain't wired like that.
That ain't him.
Right.
Right.
Right.
If Isle sneeze, he going to rip out that shirt.
Oh, Joe, what, I mean, Issa, what kind of shirt?
What side that is?
Man, this is a, uh, small?
It's a large.
It's a large, man.
Hold on.
Joe.
Hey, trying to make itself look big.
This man, six foot eight,
250 pounds wearing a large?
Yeah, my muscles ain't like, I ain't bulky.
I'm just like, you know, I got a nice muscle.
Man, get your 19-year-old shirt back.
Is he, he, he's telling you,
you sorry.
You got to cheer, you got a cheer.
Joe, you just big bone, go.
Nah, no, no, I ain't no damn big bone.
I don't know what you got going on.
Nah, I ain't big bone.
I'm just saying, you're not fat.
You're chubby.
No.
Hey, Joe, I wear a large, Joe.
Man, get out of here.
Well, I wear no damn large hair.
Joe, don't make me come up by this hoodie, man.
I don't want to, come on now.
Yeah, don't do it.
Don't do it.
You just ate six donuts and a Coke?
Nah, don't do it.
Hey, and I still got 10 abs showing.
All right, so, Ocho, y'all with the P.W. I's,
but that don't make y'all no bad brothers.
I'm going to give him a little brief of nonsense of what it's like, you know,
the HBC.
You know, on the wide over there, I was like, look, okay, this
what's going to happen, just how the step show gonna go.
Just how to start, you know,
just the AKA, just the alpha.
Oh, oh, hold on, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
you must think they didn't do that at the University of Arkansas.
You didn't think we had step shows and I get it, I get it, okay.
See, that's, you see I'm saying?
Now that's, that's, that's like going,
going to Samantha's and getting smothered ox tails
and pork chops and stuff like that.
Oh, it's not the same.
Uh-uh.
You know I grew up in doing.
It's just something about that.
That flour,
get that gravy extra thick.
I already know.
I already know they're going to cut up.
I already know.
Yeah,
I got you,
oxtails of mac and cheese.
I got you some Creole rice.
I got you lamb chops.
Damn.
You got me candy yams?
Yeah, we got candy yams.
Yeah, hey, ad, ashtex me.
no, you know, you know, picks up.
Like, hey, man, pick anything.
I'm going to eat it.
You don't matter.
Hey, we already know.
Good, look garbage, man.
Watch his stomach.
Hey, Joe, watch how we went through the show and stuff to start bubbling.
He got to go.
Oh, Joe.
Damn, man, they're anything look garbage man.
Yeah.
I'm not, I'm not picky.
Especially in an environment like that and somebody is feeding us.
Man, I'm not being picky.
Man, whatever you put in front of me, boy, I'm, I'm going.
going to work, right?
He already told he'll, she ain't got a shower,
she ain't got a shave, he ain't got to do none of that.
I don't see how y'all like the, oh man.
That's good.
He told one, you know I eat lollipops off the carpet,
so you ain't did nothing to me.
Hold on, y'all ain't played three second rule though?
Not off the carpet, yo lollipop hit the carpet.
You picking that up, bro?
Yeah, you, man.
Man, you got to step up.
Oh, wait, hold on.
You wasting a blow pop because they hit the carpet?
I told you.
Hey, Joe, Joe, a strawberry watermelon blowpop,
it hit the carpet, you're going to throw it away.
Man, please, what?
Watermelon grape strawberry, in that order.
Hey, hey, it's getting picked up off that carpet.
You're going to go rich that joint off or something.
You got you got it, come on now.
Miss it off, so to get the carpet off stuff off.
Oh, okay.
Right back in the mind.
Huh?
No, no.
No, no, no, no.
No, nah, nah, nah.
No, little water don't hurt.
Oh, okay.
After she'll do a hit class, you come up out of there and do what you do.
You're going to tell by all of a sudden.
Oh, man.
With the twang?
Yes.
It's the twang and anything.
He don't kept by the twain?
That's Ocho.
What?
Wait, hold on.
What you're talking about?
I missed it.
I said the old girl hit class.
High intensity.
Training.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That won't stop you.
Oh, yeah.
No, I don't want to, I don't want to taste that summer's Eve.
Hell, no.
No, I don't want to think that dove, that ain't, that ain't natural.
Are you, you want, you want some of that song, huh?
Yeah, yeah, you got to have a little thing to it, a little twang, just a little, you know,
a little, you know, let's see how y'all do that, man.
Easy, easy, I'm sure how you do easy.
Ain't trying to, I ain't trying to, man, hell, nah.
Uh, do y'all believe the NBA will approve a trade, or do y'all think
Brandon Inger or Grady D intentionally failed the field?
No, it's going to, the trade going to go through.
It's going to go through.
It's going to go through.
During the intro, you keep forgetting dementia,
the ISO was an all-NBA player,
but that don't make you no bad brother.
Joe, how many, all-N-B-A selection you got?
I ain't got, I ain't got but one.
I ain't got but one.
I got one all-N-A selection.
Hey, I'll tell you what.
What?
That's one more than me.
I got one.
Has Pablo Torrey opens Pandora's box?
He said last year that after he was done with the clivers,
he was going to look into the Knicks.
Does that sport need this?
Or better to leave it alone now.
Hey, he's an investigative journalist.
That's what they do.
They go investigate.
Where they be getting all that information from, man?
Just like they found out they put nicotine in cigarettes
and nicotine was highly addictive?
Yeah.
Just like they found iraic,
stuff like that, Watergate.
that's how well people only blow the whistle to get something back in return so how much mr torrey
paying for this information i get mad at you you know how your girl get mad at you when she
get mad at you she say all kind of thing you ain't dude yeah you ain't put it down like you ain't
even do it like you're supposed to ah just saying any old thing okay okay okay drunk kids and
angry people would generally try to tell you the truth yeah they old folks oh oh
My girlfriend, definitely.
Yeah.
Hey, uh, Ocho Isso.
My name is Tommy.
I turn 28 tomorrow.
Can I get a birthday shout out?
What you wish you knew at 28.
Happy birthday, Tommy.
Pretty, Tommy.
He ain't got no job.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday.
Tommy, you ain't got no job.
Why did I wish I do at 28?
And what I wish I knew.
That's a good question, right?
Boy, I can't even remember 28.
I ain't going to say you ain't hold you.
I wish I didn't think I had so much time.
Ooh, that's a good one.
What movie is that?
Denzel said,
when the guy,
a man apart says,
I wish you had more time.
And you do.
When you're young,
man,
you think you're going to live forever.
I do that.
Man,
I do that.
Man,
I woke up one day,
I was 40.
I woke up the next day,
I was 50.
That's what it seemed like for real.
That's what it seems like.
That's how fast it go.
That's how fans to go.
Hey, time flies.
Before you were back down,
hold on, Joe, think about this, Joe, your NBA career,
NFL career.
You look up, you and you're seven.
He's like, well, God, dog, I just got drafted.
Seemed like the other day.
And life, life continues to pass us by.
That's what I tell y'all.
You're all alive, but you're not living.
So that's why I want you all to, you know,
come outside your box a little bit and live a little bit before we get on the other side of the mountain
i'm living man i'm talking about boy listen i'm having a funky good time all right joe all right
just keeping the real i'm just keeping the real we're having a good time oh chole i got i'm with you
i'm with you i mean you're all having a good time but you're not fulfilling the time that you here
that you have on earth i need you to fulfill everything so you're you're you to fulfill everything so you're
You leave nothing, leave no stone on turn.
Yes, sir.
I'll keep that in mind.
Yeah.
But happy birthday, Tommy.
I worked in a restaurant where everyone called me
Ocho simply because I'm black
and also my name, Chan.
That'll do it.
Yeah, I mean, anybody dogskin with a ball head.
I mean, listen, we all look alike man to somebody.
Kauai and PG put that Dijon LeBray-Ye love on Steve Barma and the Clippers.
Dang.
Think of them about it.
No.
Fire everybody.
No.
It's just unfortunate, man.
They swan for the fences trying to bring a championship to the Clippers franchise, and then they miss.
It happens.
Yeah, it happens.
Victory, love the show, which is worse?
Cleveland with Watts, Cleveland, with Watts contract.
That's contract.
Pittsburgh with Watts contract
Clippers with Kauai,
Trey, maybe both should change their names.
Does he mean Pittsburgh?
Cleveland with Watts contract.
He's saying Cleveland with Watson's contract.
Oh yeah, okay, Watson, you're right, you're right.
Watson.
You think that's the worst one?
Probably of all time.
Yeah, they give a three first round picks.
Look where those picks turned out to be.
C.J. Strau, Will Anderson,
uh,
Nico Collins.
And,
and,
and all that guaranteed money.
That's the thing.
It's close,
though,
because they gave up,
they gave up Shea,
and Shea won a championship.
Two-time MVP.
Now,
if the Texas won,
if the Texas won a championship,
but I still,
I think the thing is that,
at least Kauai had them in contentioned.
If Kauai could have stayed healthy, I agree with you, Joe.
We've been to see what they could have been.
Had he stayed healthy for the entire season?
But since Watson been today, they've been close.
Oh, could you wish my six-year-old Kylie?
Happy birthday.
Back though, I saw you at Spence's getting them toys.
That don't make you no bad brother.
Joe, you were there Spencers?
Okay.
Joe, why you ain't telling you that Spencers, boy?
Man, somebody.
No, no, no, anybody lied on you.
Ah, Joe.
Nah, Joe.
You like seven feet.
If that man, if that man seen him as Spencer's heater,
took a damn picture, okay?
He didn't want to blow your spot up.
Yeah, but if I, if I was, I wouldn't, I wouldn't deny it if I was.
I'd go in there to find something for my lady, now.
Hey, but go, don't listen to me.
Huh?
It's don't make you no bad brother, boy.
Huh?
That's my dog.
Glad you listening to me, my boy.
Kind of. Happy 6th birthday.
Hope you got a big old life-size Barbie.
Yeah.
I don't even know what you get 6-year-olds anymore.
Six-year-old used to be, I guess,
Barney used to be the big thing.
Six-year-old.
Yeah, my little one was going to be 5, bro.
I don't know neither, huh?
Yeah. Cowboys versus Rams, NFC Championship game.
Remember, I told you first,
keep going to have to watch while braiding hair in the pen.
Ocho called me deuce in a quarter cause if that's got four walls of the place.
Shit, I'm going in.
That don't make me no bad brother.
Man,
must be Ocho homeboy for real.
So, big three.
What made you go?
What made you go?
President, we need the National Guard.
We need as many minutes you can spare because we are killing the Patriots in 96.
Also, could you shout up my best friend, Royal.
Royal.
Your homie won't give you a shout out.
What made me do it?
The Patriots fans would be in Illinois,
like a lot of times they are.
Yeah.
Talking about Ben Coles was better than me.
We beat the brakes off of him too, Joe.
I think we were beating them like 31 to 7.
Yeah.
Yeah, they had them pulled aside.
You know, I caught me a couple of paths.
I ain't really do too much.
I was disappointed.
I wanted to do a little bit more,
but they couldn't stop TD from running the damn football.
So we beat the brakes off of them.
They got the last laugh, though.
They got the last little laugh
because they end up going to the Super Bowl.
They was glad Jacksonville beat us
because they know they weren't going to beat us.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Ocho, you baby and Cam Ward.
Baby and?
Yeah, keep it a bean.
Man, what y'all be talking about?
If you had a chance in your career
to play with your brother in Green Bay,
would you have done it?
Well, they tried to trade for me in 99,
but I ended up breaking my collarbone
and the trade didn't go through.
No, I ain't want to play with him.
That would have been dope, what?
Nah, not when they throwing him 140 balls.
He's getting 140 targets,
and I'm getting 65-70.
But you did, that would have changed.
No, it wasn't.
You see how Jerry cut all those balls,
no matter who was on the opposite side of him
until he got late in his career.
Shout out to the go, Dr. Frankie,
and all the women on here,
All these
Psiops and bad media
Trying to pit us against each other
Do all y'all men keep your head up, baby
Send the love from Australia
Yeah, we're cool
We ain't going against each other
It's crazy
The time the Clippers can use their first round pick
A kid in middle school currently
Yep
I'm about to start trash talking
Treadwell worth the filetia
I didn't know though
I didn't know, I didn't, I didn't realize he had been in the league
11 years, this is his 11 season, Ocho.
I did not know that.
Hey, I didn't either.
Honestly, you know, year five, I understand that year four, you know,
really early.
But at this point, like, I mean, come on, man.
What are we doing?
What are we doing, Ocho?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Because I thought, like I said, I thought the practice squad
with the developer player,
the player level years in,
to each his own.
Yeah.
Ojo, I'll give you $5 if you spell perseverance.
Per,
perseverance.
P-E-R-S-E-R-S-E-N-C-E.
Seem my money.
No, O-Jo, you were doing so good.
Per se, P-R-S-E-V-E-R-A-N-C-E-R-A-N-S-E.
That's exactly what I just said.
If it was up to you, would you increase the salary cap and add coaches to the staff?
Do it.
How would you change the game?
Well, I would add two by weeks.
Even in the current schedule, the 17 games.
Extending the NFL season a week, I don't think anybody's going to be ticked off.
I would add, I would add let you have, instead of 46, I would let them take it to
49, 45,
active on game day.
I like, I like that idea.
They were listening to first time baller.
It was a hurricane in Houston.
Y'all boys stay safe.
We need nightcap.
Now that thing is supposed to be a blown out
by the time we get down there.
Hello.
You know, we bring number sunshine.
They got a little heavy, heavy win, huh?
Did y'all see Tyreek say
Dijon Love was his home boy?
and he was, and he never spoke about him
because he was mad Dejan ran a 4-2.
No, I ain't hear that.
I ain't know that.
He just played Tyreek trolling, people.
Oh, man, the man playing around.
As I happen to say, I know that man ain't ran on damn four-two.
Not running like that, there?
Hell not.
I don't think he ran a 5-2.
Who was more dominant?
Michael Jordan or Tom Brady?
MJ.
See, it's different in basketball because one man can change,
can control the whole damn game.
I ain't saying Tom can't, but the way MJ played both ends of the court,
he played offense and defense,
and he was tops on both ends.
I think that's the biggest difference.
I agree.
All right, so what else don't know about PWI has brought the HBCUs to the step show?
No, he didn't.
Y'all can't do it like we do.
But you can't do it like us.
Nope.
Okay, show me.
Show me.
I want to see it.
I want to see it.
Show me.
You got to show me.
Oh, we're going to do that thing.
We're going to do it up.
Okay.
Oh, my name is Jay.
I want to say RIP to my homeboy, Arthur Marshall, from hometown Augusta.
He passed away today from stomach cancer.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm made with Artie Marsh.
He's a teammate of mine for like two, three years.
Yeah.
Damn.
Man, I show hate to hear that.
I ain't even know he was, I ain't know he was sick.
I am.
That's the part to get you guys that you, I mean, young guy.
He's younger than I am.
I am.
Damn.
Well, on that note, that's going to conclude nightcap for tonight.
