A man in the U.S. has been arrested and charged with six counts of attempted homicide
Starting point is 00:05:07 after allegedly traveling more than 1,000 miles and setting fire to the home of a man who had been communicating with his ex-girlfriend. Hold on. He's supposed to check the girl. He ain't supposed to check nothing. Ex. Ex. Ex.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Yeah, you ain't supposed to check nothing. Man you ain't supposed to check nothing I'm going about my business man I'm going about your business man I don't understand I don't understand I don't understand how people be crashing out by people Whether they be long Even if you with somebody And a guy has the ability
Starting point is 00:05:44 To gain access to the person that you're with, what does that tell you? Why am I crashing out about her allowing you to have access? That lets me know where I stand. It's easy. Move on. It's not hard. I don't understand why it's so hard to wrap that around our head. Because every time we start dealing with people, we add a title to it.
Starting point is 00:06:11 We add relationship. We add marriage. Situationship. No matter what it is. And for some reason, we as men, we view that as my property or ownership. That individual is not. A thousand miles, Ocho. Do you know how far a thousand miles
Starting point is 00:06:26 is? Man, you ain't got to tell me that. I don't own you. You're not my property. If we're together, I appreciate that, and I'm moving based off how you move. It's pretty easy.
Starting point is 00:06:41 When things look funny to you, make it a comedy show. It's simple. That's how you keep from getting yourself hurt. So in other words, when they start acting funny, I might as well, hey, get me a big nose and some red shoes.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Make it a comedy show because they will make a fool of you and then play victim. Hey, you remember the song Michelle and Dagocello in Love and Battle? You make a fool of me. Tell me why
Starting point is 00:07:16 you say that we made love just last night. She sing that song? Yeah. Wait a minute. Oh, hang on. Wait, she sing that song? Yeah. Wait a minute. Oh, hell.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Wait, tell me that. Hold on, huh? What's the name of the song real quick? I want to kiss you. I'm going to put that in my library. I want you with the pain that I do. I smell you in my dreams. But now when we're face to face,
Starting point is 00:07:42 you won't look me in the eye. No more friendship. No more friendship. No more love. You see, I can't touch you. I can't touch you. No more. Yeah. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:07:55 What's the title? What's the title of the song? You Make a Fool of Me. Huh? Love and Basketball. You Make a Fool of Me? Yes. Michelle and Diego Cello.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Hold on. Hold on. There it is. Fool of Me right there i'm for the i'm for the ad yes i'm gonna add it to my library right now he said does she want you with the pain that i do let that sink in ocho does this person that you want to be with does she want you with the pain that I do? Because I can smell you in my dream. Hey, if you take it slow when you listen to what you said, you got to feel that. You got to feel that.
Starting point is 00:08:41 That's, Ocho, every song that this woman sings It resonates with me Because I know I'm a very passionate person With Woo I know how you feel Take your time now
Starting point is 00:08:55 Take your time I told you when When old girl played that song for me, trust. That's how you get to me. You play a song and I'm never going to forget it. Right. I just, and when I, the first time I heard that woman's voice and every time that she's close to me, I go see her. I went to see her at the Tabernacle.
Starting point is 00:09:30 I went to see her like twice at the Tabernacle. I've seen her in L.A. I've seen her in Colorado. I've seen her three or four times in Atlanta. And a lot of times, I'm probably the only straight male there. There's a lot of women that love that set. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It's like that, huh? Oh. Oh, man. And she on the soundtrack, Love Drums. She on that, too? Yes. If you feel the way I feel for you, Rush over the name of the song, Her and Marcus.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Right. She got a song with John Cougar. Oh, man, look at it. Chat, y'all will know. So I'm telling y'all now. If y'all say, man, who's Shelly Sharp? Ain't no question. Don't even ask.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Michelle and Daniel Cello. That's live. If you feel the way I feel, I'll rush over. There's no reason to be alone. My thoughts for you. Patiently, I wait for an invitation. I often imagine. Come on now.
Starting point is 00:10:36 I picture that you're no more a voice than on my telephone that I find myself rushing home to. I'm up in that. Hey, look at that merch. I'm back. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.. you know music you know music make you think about certain people yeah so who you think about uh beautiful uh bitter uh uh uh dead end boulevard faithful mary magdalene uh come on man take i gotta take your time man take your time. Take your time. Man, I'm telling you, a lot of times, and people are like, man, what you do? I'm listening to Michelle Lendeggio cello. I'm listening to Maxwell silently.
Starting point is 00:11:40 It's probably my favorite song from Maxwell. This Woman's Work. I'm trying to think of the song. Hold on, what's the name of the song? Symptoms Unknown by Maxwell. Symptoms Unknown? Symptoms Unknown. Symptoms Unknown. Symptoms Unknown. Whatptoms Unknown. Symptoms Unknown.
Starting point is 00:12:07 What movie? What movie is that? Is that from a soundtrack? No. Actually, I said that many, many years ago. I tried to win her back. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I tried to win her back.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I tried to win her back. Hold on, hold on. Tried to win a bat. I tried to win a bat. Hold on, hold on, hold on. You ain't tell us this story. I tried to win a bat. I tried to win a bat. You lost somebody? Was it something that you did and you tried to win a bat? No, it wasn't something that I did.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Right, right. I was just bull-jobbing around. Oh, you playing a game. You playing a game. Yeah. And what happened was, I was just dribbling. Right. Dude stole the ball and shot it.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Okay. And it went in. Got me. So, this song, I said, look, I went and bought her a CD. I saw her someplace. I bought her a CD, and I handed it to her. I said, there are two songs I want you to listen to. I want you to listen to Silently, and I want you to listen
Starting point is 00:13:05 to Symptoms. Okay. She said, Shannon, I'm getting married. Oh! Oh! Hey! Hey, uh, that Hey. Hey, that hurt me. And that wasn't even me.
Starting point is 00:13:34 So. Oh, bad, too. I know that hurt. I heard how that made you feel. I know that hurt. Well, I can't. I can't get mad at results I didn't get for the work I didn't put in. Don't do that.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Don't you do that. Don't you... Hold on. I'm afraid y'all know how I am. I cue it to you straight. Hold on. I'm honest. I'm 1,000.
Starting point is 00:13:57 I'm honest with you. Dude, give it to me. Hey, Chad. Chad, do me a favor. Somebody listen to what he says real quick and then type and write it to me on Twitter. Bring that to me one more time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I can't get mad at the results I didn't get for the work I didn't put in. Had I done what he had done, maybe the situation, who knows? But I didn't do what I was supposed to do. Ocho, y'all know me, Chad. Y'all follow me, chat. Y'all done been, if y'all follow me anything, if y'all know anything about Shannon Sharp, I'm going to accept responsibility. That's all I know how to do.
Starting point is 00:14:32 If I'm wrong, I got to be mad enough to say that. That's one thing Mary Porter believed in that. My grandfather believed in that. I believe they did a great job of raising their nine and raising my mom's three. I can never be mad. I'm never going to be mad at results. I didn't get for the work.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I didn't put in. See what I was doing. That's why I do this. What I do now. Oh, Joe, and I tell, I tell people when I go talk and I say hard work doesn't guarantee you
Starting point is 00:14:59 anything, but without it, you don't have a chance. You see, if I don't put it, see if I don't, if I put the hard work in and I don't get the result that I'm hoping for, okay, that wasn't for me. But I never want to have regrets.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Man, if I had just worked harder, if I had just done this, you'll never meet anybody. You won't meet one person that will tell you Shannon Sharp didn't work hard. God, I love that quote, boy. That's all. That was good. That's all I know how to do. But I do. I spend a lot of time going chill.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Sometimes I'll just start cleaning up. And I'll put Michelle Odegaard chill on, and I'll just go. I'll listen to Maxwell. I'll listen to Sade. I'll just listen to Atlantic Star. I mean, I just like, and it just like, okay. Hey, I got a question. Do you have a playlist already
Starting point is 00:15:56 with some of your favorite songs when you're cleaning up? I do. You gotta send me that playlist, man. I gotta check this out. I gotta check this out. Boy, that's good. That send me that playlist, man. I got to check this out. I got to check this out. Boy, that's good. That's some good music, man. That's some good music. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:12 That's, I just, like I said, I'm just a guy, look. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. And I missed opportunities. I mean, I see people now that, you know, gotten married. And some women, be honest with me, say, look, you good to have fun with you're not the man so you hey they viewed you as the fun guys because they know they say shannon work is way more important than any relationship is going to
Starting point is 00:16:37 be okay yeah but then you know what that should that that should that shouldn't your greatest enjoyment comes from war. Nothing brings you pleasure like war. But that doesn't even put you in the category of the fun guy, too. That's not the category. I'm a fun. Ocho, they look at me. I'm aesthetically, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm built like a centaur. You know what I'm saying? How bad. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? I'm built like that. All they be, they go, they know what they get.? Half bad. You know what I'm saying? Don't joke. I don't feel like it. All bad men, they go,
Starting point is 00:17:06 they know what they get, what they get on. Yeah. I mean, two of the possible anything. Long as you know, you got the big joke, a little joke.
Starting point is 00:17:14 You could, I'm going to get that. But, oh, that's a good one. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal,
Starting point is 00:21:25 Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. Oh, Joe! Alexander Ovechkin.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Ove. Ove, he passed Wayne Gretzky. He passed, he broke Rayne Gretzky's record. Gretzky had the mark of 894 goals that had stood since he retired from hockey in 1999. Yeah. Ovechkin scored his record-setting 895th goal in the second period against the New York Islanders in the same game. 894 came in 1,487 games for Gretzky. 1,487 games.
Starting point is 00:22:27 895 came from Ovi. The matchup was immediately paused, and the ceremony with Gretzky on site took place, and he commemorate the moment. Mm-hmm. Me, personally, I didn't think anybody could break this record. Right. Didn't. person i didn't think anybody could break this record right didn't um and it seems like he's gonna i mean he's gonna be well in the 900s because i don't think he's gonna retire right i

Starting point is 00:23:29 Hey, them boys good. Oh, yeah. McDavid and McKinnon. McKinnon and McDavid is like Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson. Mm-hmm. I mean, that's the only comparison I can think of in football terms. But Ovi now has the record. And I think he's only been one franchise.
Starting point is 00:23:51 He's only been with the Capitals, right? Yeah. Yeah. Because Gretzky was in Edmonton, and then he went to the Kings. But he brought hockey to southern california hey speaking speaking of hockey y'all you ever been you ever no i went i went to the i've been i went to one boomer sasson boomer told me to tell you what's up uh yeah i saw him i saw him saturday okay yeah i went to a couple of rangers games okay okay okay i

Now, it doesn't get the love it deserves because there's so many other sports that we have to choose from and watch, but man, a hockey game up close, we're talking about first dates? Now, I said taking a woman to go watch NASCAR
Starting point is 00:24:40 because it's different. It's something she's probably haven't done before, but watching NASCAR outside is a good date. But hockey? And you get some tickets on the glass? Man, listen. And wear a jacket, too,
Starting point is 00:24:51 because I'd be cold as hell. Oh, yeah, it'd be cold. Hey, no, that's the whole point, huh? You take it to a hockey game, and guess what? Oh, you want to cuddle? Oh, you want to cuddle? Oh, you want...

Starting point is 00:26:33 It'll be Beyonce, Adele, whoever. Can you imagine? And I don't care nothing about that. Yes. Hey, could you imagine the Blue Ivy stream playing video games and stuff
Starting point is 00:26:41 and Beyonce having to walk in the back or Jay having to walk in the back and come in the stream man that's hey that'd be that'd be dope that'd be dope but you have to realize Ocho kids don't view their parents like the outside
