All right, let's get to NFL news.
NFL chief medical examiner, Dr. Alan Seale.
defended the Eagles medical staff, stating team doctors nor medical professional in London
mishandled the situation. And all the parties made careful decision to protect Jalen's hurt or
hurts health. Let's take a listen to what he had to say. Our first obligation as team physicians
is always and ever more will be to the patient. It's to do the right thing. Why? Because that's what
we're licensed to do. That's our standard of care. That's the standard we're held to. That's the
standard we're licensed to. That's the oath that we've pledged. And that's what happens.
And so any idea or any suggestion that a team physician is ever being influenced by a coach,
a general manager, a team owner, it just doesn't happen. I can't speak to what happened in the dark
ages when Jeff started working for the league. But I can tell you in my 30 years in sports
medicine, and today there is no doctor who is taking orders from a football person, a non-medical
person, period. The notion that their external factors or that any of our physicians would put a
player in harm's way, that's nonsense. And I think also anybody who is not sitting in that room,
if you're not sitting in that room with that patient and you don't have all the data,
if you are speculating as a physician on what should have been done, you are unprofessional
and unethical in doing that. Take this out. Mike Silver, I know Mike very well used to write for Sports
Illustrated. He said, bro, you know, you.
you presumably let him delay taking blood thinners to play in an NFL game,
then fly seven hours across an ocean and now he,
though, uh, blood clots in his lung.
I'm not really feeling this victim,
the victory lap.
This is an embarrassment for the NFL and team.
Dr.
Allen Seals, have you ever heard of the concussions?
You had the data that says concussion that head trauma and CTE.
You delayed that you didn't give that information to the players.
You also, when black players,
and you say black players were already,
they weren't smart enough to begin with,
so them not have,
them not remembering,
it's not a knock.
Don't do that.
I love the NFL.
Chat, listen, bear with me.
I love the NFL.
It gave me and my brother
an opportunity to help lift my family out of poverty.
But I hate this when they do this.
Don't do this.
Don't become old to think you would.
I know it.
I've experienced it.
So this notion that,
you want to get on your box, they wouldn't do that.
You did it.
You did it with concussions.
And when black players, retired players,
try to go there and get money,
you said they weren't smart to begin with.
Chad, if you don't believe it, just go look it up.
The man complained about he got kicked in the calf
on a Wednesday before you left to go play in the game.
And if I'm not mistaken, the way I read it
is that you wait till you get to London.
to do the MRI.
And then you don't, you're like, oh, okay,
tell me the professional, say if I got,
that you should be flying even with a superficial blood clot.
Wouldn't you think you would let him clear that up?
Yeah.
Don't you think you would let that happen before it,
because knowing that it could travel to your lungs,
it could travel to your heart.
You would think that.
But for you, the mere fact, they know they under the gun.
Mm-hmm.
When have you ever heard them?
They had the league meeting, Joe, Joe.
When have you ever heard the doctor come out of break protocol?
Never.
They never do that.
They never do that.
But they know they're under the gun.
Like you said, Uncle Joe.
And the fact that he can come out, Mr. Seals can come out and say some of the things that he said, being that even if we aren't doctors, all the information is right there for us to read.
Thank you.
All the information is right there for us to read.
So based on what we've read, we've all gathered the information.
And in fact, wait.
If he flew, if he got hurt Wednesday, then you knew something was wrong already.
If you waited until he got all the way to London and knew there was another issue once he talked to a doctor, why did he let him play in the game?
Why did you play in the game?
What do you talk about?
That's it, Jocho?
It makes no sense.
And I don't want to bring up, I don't want to bring up any names.
But always, always, the doctors is a part of any NFL team.
Always, always will side with the team first.
Absolutely.
They're paid by the team.
Yes.
What are you talking about the independent?
Your loyalty lies where you're being paid.
Yeah.
It's common sense.
They will always do what's in the best interest of the team.
And if that's misdiagnosing that time,
they're letting the player play that they know they need.
Yeah.
That can affect wins and losses.
Yeah.
They're going to make sure they play.
They're going to make sure they play.
I mean, I mean,
I'll just,
every medical profession,
Howard Roseman, Jeffrey Lewis,
If your mom or your dad had a superficial blood clot,
would you allow them to fly seven to 11 hours?
If your kid had exactly what Jalen Hertz had,
would you allow them to play a game?
They got a superficial blood clot.
Would you allow them to play a game?
Would you allow them to go?
Would you allow your child to stay awake for 36 hours?
And then go play, say he was able to get a nap.
Would you allow your child, your son or your daughter, under the same circumstances that the Philadelphia Eagles placed Jalen Hertz under?
I asked Howard Roseman.
I asked Jeffrey Lurie.
I asked the team medical doctors.
Would you do that for your child?
Would you allow your child to do that?
Because it's easy to allow somebody else child because you don't have the connection.
But would you let your child do that?
Absolutely not.
Absolutely not because they understand how dangerous it is.
They know what can happen if things go wrong.
The last thing you want to do, what you try to, you try to a stressful environment.
Do you think it, do you think playing professional sports?
Do you think playing a collision sport like professional football?
Do you think that's an stressful environment chat?
Ocho, Joe, you think that's a stressful situation?
Yes.
Hold on.
So this is what I want you to do.
I want you to fly across the pond.
Let's just say somewhere between seven, 10, maybe 11 hours.
And then I want you to stay up for 36 hours.
And then I'm going to put you in the most stressful environment
of possibly can.
And I want you to perform at your absolute best.
Potential that you got a superficial blood clot.
Well, we're going to do it, you know, we're going to look and see how close it
is to maybe, maybe not, but because you're an athlete, you're probably a physical,
but the question is, would you allow your own child to do that?
Hmm.
You wouldn't.
They wouldn't.
wouldn't.
They would never, they would never put their kids or their lone ones like they asked
players to do.
If you gave Jalen Hertz, let him know all the factors.
Jalen, this thing could be X, Y, and Z.
It could do this.
You can develop this, X, Y, and Z.
If Jalen, give, Jalen all the information.
If Jalen determines that he wants to play, I got no problem with that, Ocho.
Right.
You give them the information.
I just
I just don't believe it
I don't
I don't I don't
I don't believe it
I believe that
I believe all of a sudden
all of a sudden now
you want to speak on
you weren't in the room either
so now
so now what are you saying
so he just arbitrate
so this just happened
and so we're supposed to be cool with it
a man could have lost his life
he could possibly lose his career
but the Eagles medical staff
and the medical
staff that's overseas that's paid by the NFL.
What did I expect you guys to say?
This is what the NFL PA said.
The NFLPA in a statement demanded a full investigation into jailing being cleared to play.
The NFLPA is not aware of any NFL investigation until the medical care provided
the jail and hurts.
In fact, the league previously informed the union that it did not plan to review the care
he received.
Before conclusions are drawn about this situation was handled, there must be a full
investigation into what occurred, determining the facts are essential to ensuring
players receive the highest level of care and protection going forward.
Y'all investigate everything else.
Anything that happens outside of the scope, y'all will take action before the criminal
justice system will take action.
Yeah.
Y'all do, y'all do due diligence, you would do your investigation.
But this, y'all, we good.
we take the Eagles and their medical staff at their word that due diligence was done
and protocol and procedures were followed.
That ain't good enough for me.
That ain't good enough of me.
I'm not saying, I'm not, look, and it might be a situation where they had this.
They had the conversation with Jalen Hertz and he was like, he was well, he understood what, what was going on.
Right.
But no, no, this is this is some bulljide.
Hey, that's a, that's a powerful, that's a powerful entity.
Hey, they're trying to, they're trying to.
They're insulting people's intelligence, what they're trying to do.
Well, they, they're trying to clear the way for the medical team.
That too, and they're trying to clear way for the Eagles as well.
Yeah, but now, hey, they say Jaila Hurts, they have no more, after this year,
he had no more guaranteed money.
Jailer has got like $250 million.
guarantee you know.
Hey, you think he's going to take him to the bank like that?
What y'all want to do?
I can go set it down.
It might be a situation where the dog is telling him he can't play.
We don't know.
First of all, they say somewhere between three months, three to four months.
Right.
And then I'm going, I'm going to the Mayo Clinic.
I'm going to John Hopkins.
I'm going, I'm going to the fourth.
foremost authority right on blood clots because I need to know yeah yeah I need to know I
need to know I need to know everything hold on the first six guys oh that's that's crazy
yeah because hey they get somebody back there playing quarterback Joe Milton or something and
he started going off and they started winning I know how easy they'll forget about you now
well listen you know how the game go yeah the game the game it never changed it's never
change. But on countless occasions, a situation like this where a team doctor is going to do
what's in the best interest of the team, especially when it's a star player or a player that's
an impact and you actually need them. Yeah. This has happened countless times. Countless times. I've
heard the stories. Even before this thing came about, I mean, obviously I wouldn't put anybody
minutes out there as far as, you know, players, you know, are concerned. But it happens all the time.
That's why, I mean, listen to what he's saying.
It's like, come on, man.
Sound like a politician up there.
Sound like a politician.
And you know what they do when they stand in front of their podium.
What they're doing, Ojo?
Just lying.
Hey, but it sound good.
You know, using all the big words and, you know,
this is unethical, we would never do this.
Come on.
Yes, you would.
Yes, you would.
Don't do that.
Yes, you would.
You would.
You try to this man out there for a football game.
You put his career, you put his life at risk for a game.
Guess the same reason you're going overseas.
You're going to France.
They got civil address going on in France.
Civil unrest.
I got to get this money, Ocho.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I got to get this money.
I understand what's going on in France.
Right, right.
And are you putting somebody in harm's way?
just one time I walked the pretty
I want
you can say whatever
but actions
my grandfather you tell my brother
and I say boy I see better than I hear
he said I
y'all told me y'all gonna cut the grass
yeah I see that lawnmow still under the shed
y'all told me y'all gonna take this trash out
I see the trash still in the corner right
see what you told me and what I see
that's two different things I hear what they're saying
but I see what they're doing
yeah I just man
I just feel so bad for
I mean, anybody, but Jalen Hurst is such a nice guy.
He don't bother nobody.
He don't say nothing about nobody and being beaten down.
It ain't never good enough.
And even I was like, man, I wish he would, you know,
he was better at this or better at that.
And maybe this is the best he'll be, Ocho.
Yeah.
But you can't take away that he's a Super Bowl champ.
And he's a Super Bowl MVP.
Yeah.
And he's an upstanding gentleman.
and I think he deserved, I personally think he deserved better care and attention than what he received.
That is just my personal opinion.
And I could be wrong.
And if I'm wrong, Lord, I ask you to forgive me.
But I do believe he should have been, he earned.
Forget what he's done for Philly.
Forget all of what he's giving back to the community of Philly and what he's done.
It's just a human being.
Yeah.
then we take into account what he's done for the organization he deserved better than what he got
very young man that's okay i'll just sit back hey i just sit back in the weed hey hey howie
i'll let your boy right quick Nicole want to talk to you who's Nicole my age of Nicole
Lynn she got some papers she needs you to sign
Mm-hmm. I'm gonna get all this.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, hey, I would be one of the highest-paid NFL quarterbacks ever.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, hey, let's hope he get through this, though.
Let's hope he get through this and he's able to get back out there.
But if he can't get back out there, Uncle Ocho.
Right.
Oh, I want 300 million.
I want my number one retired.
I want all that.
Hey, I want all that.
It's going to be tough.
Are they going to be tough?
Well, you know what,
your sister is going to be tough
to retire by number?
400 million.
Not that.
I'm saying it's going to be tough.
Oh, okay.
What Joe said,
if you can't come back, man.
Yeah, man, I look.
This man want to be playing football.
I can't play football.
So ain't nobody at fault.
Everybody did what they're supposed to do.
Ain't nobody at fault.
Somebody got to take Blaine on the man.
Yeah.
So what about?
So, so when did he do?
So you thought that flying back from a game,
when he had a super,
did he develop a blood clot,
was a blood clot there?
And he flew back.
Did he have a superficial blood clot?
So he had that and you let him fly.
I mean,
I've been reading Google saying it's not,
they don't advise you to fly with blood clots.
But in the NFL, you know,
I guess, you know, you being a superior athlete,
but at the end of the day,
you know, superior athletes,
you know, unfortunately things happen.
Yeah.
And the more you put them in a situation
where things can happen, there's a greater chance that things will happen.
I just, man, I just, you just hate when bad things happen to good people.
And I don't personally know Jail and Hurts.
I just, from what I can see and what I can observe, I think he's a great individual.
Yeah, I agree.
Damn football.
For a second.
But I think, because a lot of times, guys, it's hard for people to see us as anything other
as football or baseball or basketball players.
There's a human element to this.
He's a human being.
Before he was all of that, before he was a Pro Bowl quarterback
and an NFL champion,
he's a human, he's a person.
He got family.
You got a mom and dad that loves it.
I believe they put the man in harm's way.
I don't know that to be factual,
but I just think the thing,
I think they could have handled this a lot differently.
I think the thing is that they wanted to win this game.
They wanted to showcase jail,
so they risk.
Right.
for a game.
They'll never come out and say that, though.
No.
I mean, they don't got to say a, oh, Joe, the actions.
They speak louder than words.
Hey, louder than words.
You ain't got to say nothing.
I got you.
I got you.
That's embarrassing, man.
Jaylor, everybody here at Nightcap, we're praying for you both.
Yes, sir.
Have a speedy recovery.
Wish you the absolute best man.
And me personally, I hope you're able to come back and continue your career because I know
that's what you want.
That's what we, as athletes, that's what we want.
We want to go out on our terms.
We don't want no injury.
We don't want something, some medical condition to all of a sudden shorten a promising career.
Right.
So our thoughts and prayers go out to Jalen hurts.
Guys, say I pray for him tonight.
I'm sure that would mean a lot to him and his family to know that people are.
praying for it, speedy recovery.
Ocho to Tennessee tight.

Lisa?
We should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Youanu.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa DiGulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anyone fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business.
And I've always got something to say.
If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world.
We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.
Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I don't really care.
These have released defensive linemen Jordan Elliott following an undisclosed incident
at the team facility on October 15th.
Jordan, who has 65 career starts, appeared in five games with 11 tacklers this season for the Titans.
News reports have surfaced in the past few hours,
According to Titans reporter, East and Freeze,
Jordan Elliott reportedly left the locker room,
upset after practice, went to his vehicle,
retrieved the firearm according to multiple sources.
The situation was de-escalated before any altercation involving the firearm.
Damn, they had to be by some money, ain't it, man?
No, that got probably arguing or fighting in practice.
Money or honey?
It's got to be about money.
Guys, we got to get that stick on,
money on honey. Yeah, yeah.
I'm gonna go with the money. I'm gonna say the money.
I'm gonna say my, cause look,
you know, Joe, Ocho, a guy
beating you on a block, a guy beating you on
one-on-one pass, right. You ain't getting that
upset and go get the stick.
Think about it. Think about the Ocho.
Think about how upset you got to be.
At a man to go get, go to your
car and get that tool. First of all,
you're not even supposed to have that stick
with you on NFL premises.
Training camp, mini camp,
facility, or,
on the bus going to the stadium at the stadium,
that is a no-no.
Yeah.
You went and got it and brought it in the facility.
First of all, that's a crime.
That's men and you can't brandish a firearm.
Yeah.
And it ain't no stand-no ground.
If you go get it, you got to stand your ground.
Well, stand your ground.
Some people can stand the ground.
Everybody can't stand the ground.
We're talking about that on another day and another time.
For you to leave Ocho and to get back,
because see the situation,
or de-escalated. See, once you de-escalate a situation,
you can't come back and use self-defense. You can't use because, guess what?
You walk away. Yeah.
You walk away and come back? Yeah.
That shouldn't even be the case, though. That shouldn't even be the case.
Whoever you arguing, whoever you got beef with, for one is one of your teammates.
Thank you. You know it.
You know, when the war went through training camp,
we're going into week six, y'all in battle.
Listen, every time, unc, you.
You and you and your brother fight all the time.
Joe, I'm sure you got friends.
Y'all argue y'all fight all the time.
It should never, ever.
Money and that H word should never come in between friendship.
Ever.
Ever.
So I'm trying.
The only thing I can think about is it got to do with them being that angry
when you're going at it in practice.
Because I know good and goddamn well, it ain't about no, you know what.
No.
Oh, Cho, what did you say about logic when emotions are high words logic at?
It's low, it's low.
It's low.
You do think, and guess what?
When you calm down, you're like, damn.
I was true.
I probably eft up there in a joke.
Yeah.
Too late, though.
Yeah, you did.
Yeah.
Hey, you remember at Minnesota, when he was asked you, he had a, uh, it's a, so where were you at 12,
eight, so it was 1255 you came in.
It was 1155, right?
That was you saying.
Yeah.
Uh, you know you don't fuck up, right.
Chuck.
Look, I don't seen fights.
Plenty of fights.
Yeah.
Plenty fights.
High school, college pro.
I ain't never seen teammates get the stick.
Now, I don't see any teammates.
I mean, you have to go to the hospital.
Well, we, I heard, I heard one incident.
A Joe NBA.
Oh, we're gill.
Yeah.
Gill or Gill, Gill, a different,
to give a different cat.
Get Gil a little different.
You know, Gil a little different.
I'm saying, Ocho, for doing it.
And it costs Gil, how many games and how much money?
At the time, he didn't give it down because he was making so much money.
He didn't came out there doing a little celebration.
He was celebrating when they called him out the lineup.
Ocho, they, hey, but if a man ain't go get that five,
also it's either over some money.
I hate to see it, but it's probably over a female too, bro.
Man, ain't no way in here.
It's over a few.
Man, you know how, Ocho, do you know how many wars?
Do you know how many wars? Do you know how many people that lost their life over?
Better do.
I do the, pull the thing on me.
Yeah.
Over there.
Lucky, you know, in today's time, Ocho, if that had happened to me in today's time, I ain't walking out of there.
Ooh.
I ain't working.
Especially with Jewelry on, he taking all that.
And you went back and got it?
Oh, yeah.
Went back and got it, Joe.
Boy, you, hey, I had to have it.
Joe, I had to have it.
If I was, dude, I'd be like, boy, you got some damn nerves
to come back in.
Hey, hey, hey, I will pull an Ocho line, fight me for it.
Hey, put that stick down and let's go, let's go head up for it.
Hey, if you beat me, you could have it.
Yeah, I don't, I don't know.
Listen, we go, we're going to find out what it was about.
We're going to find out what it was about it.
about it at some point you know it's going to get out we're going to have all the details on
on what it was um but godly man now they let him go and obviously you know depending on how good
he might not he might not play again on he might what ohcho do you know how like kind of
reckless you got to be to go get that thing yeah and at a team facility bro you're not in the
street you not at the barbershop
Hey, oh, you're not at the, you're not in the hood.
Yeah.
You at an NFL team facility.
You get so upset at an individual that you go to your car.
When you're not supposed to have a firearm, I know it's the same way for basketball, Joe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're not supposed to have a firearm at NBA facilities.
They could, at the stadium, at the practice facility on the bus, going to a stadium.
anything, even if you're going into a, uh, a, a, a, a, a, a, a Cincinnati bingo or a hunk or a Bronco event,
you can't have it.
Hey.
We in practice.
Dude a little bigger than me.
He didn't threaten me.
Uncle Ocho, I feel for my life.
Yeah.
I went to my car.
I'm saying, I'm, if this dude, I'm saying this dude, he went to his car to get his five.
He said, he's probably thinking like, he'll D.
Laman, how much bigger?
Who was it?
Shaq.
He must, hey, he might.
He was scared.
Oh, what if he was scared?
He was nervous.
What if he was scared?
He didn't know.
Maybe dude threatened him or something.
I can't, I'm just trying to justify how you're going to get defy like that and
then try to bring him back in there.
Cause once you pull it, hell, you gotta use it.
Hey, ain't no room for that.
Nah, not under that NFL shield.
That ain't.
Hell no.
Hey, they ain't had, they, Joe, they ain't had no choice but to let him go.
Let him go.
Hey, and the NFL, and the NFL ain't no telling what the, what kind of point.
What kind of punitive they're going to come down with?
A fire on two?
Yeah, he got, yeah, if they let him go,
then he probably will come out and make a statement
and probably try to justify his claim.
You know what I mean?
Nah, he had to come out and say, I was wrong.
And if you're going to do what y'all going to do,
I was wrong.
I let my emotions get the best of me.
And it's a very unfortunate situation.
Boy, ain't no justifying that.
Yeah.
If he was scared, man, he might be scared, huh?
Joe Joe, Joe, Joe.
Hey, if you're scared, oh, Joe, guess what?
You went to your car, crank your car and take your ass home.
I got to come to work.
I got to come to work here every day.
The man threatening me and everything.
Hell, I ain't know what to do.
So I brought my fire with me.
Hey, Coach Sala.
I'm having an issue.
Oh, man, what's going to do?
What are you going to do?
The man's steady threatening me every time he's see me.
Hey, bye.
We ain't got a fight.
Yeah, knuckle up.
I'm scared to fight.
That's why I only got that fire.
That's not what happens.
When the dude put that file, you hear he's trying to tussle.
Everybody, hey, everybody got squabble skills now.
Man, what?
Hey, some dudes, hey, some dudes ain't squabble material.
They're like, oh, no, this joke, here way too big.
Boy, ain't feeling to play.
I'm a little playing.
I'm going to get some of these hot ones.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, Joe, me and you, we're all right.
We shoot a brother's side.
Ah, yeah, yeah.
Ain't anybody looking to lock up.
Hey, I just keep my, I keep it moving on your.
Hey, yeah, yeah.
Oh, no.
Thank.
Mm-mm.
I haven't got too old a tusser.
Culture boy in his 20th.
As a teenager late teen, 20th, yeah, yeah.
I'll tussing with the best of.
Now, especially when I was coming up,
because people and guys didn't shoot back then.
Guys really ain't 30 things.
Yeah, yeah.
Now, ain't nobody throwing them.
no things no more.
Mm-mm.
Mm-mm.
No, sir.
So, damn, man.
See, this is why I told y'all,
I could see, oh, Joe, I keep telling you why I couldn't play in this time.
Yeah, hey, but listen, you couldn't play, but you can coach.
No, I can't coach.
Imagine if you was coaching the Titans.
This young fellow, his mind wouldn't even have thought to go to no car to go get no gun
because he became straight to you.
No, no.
Okay.
He came straight.
Hey, Coach Shannon.
Coach Shannon, man, I'm having a problem.
Man, you one of the only people I can actually talk to
about what's going on right now, man.
Me and so-and-so, we keep getting into it.
He said, so-and-so out there on the field,
and I got mad.
I got mad.
And I need to come hard to at you and get this off my chest
before I do something.
I ain't got no business.
Are you scared, son?
You can't say that to him.
I'm going to cut you.
Because if you're scared.
You're scared of a teammate.
I know what you're going to do.
the mother guys, they're going to run slap over you.
Oh, shit.
Hey, I'm just, a, a,
a, Joe, God keep giving Uncle
signs. He don't want to listen.
Hey, uh, so when, if you're the head coach
and they come in there and tell you,
man, old Jordan Elliott, man,
he came in here with a fire on, man.
We need you to go talk to it. What you're going to tell him?
Man, call the police.
Hey, hey, hey,
Hey, Joe, the answer to coach your manual.
They'll tell me how to disarm somebody with a firearm.
Man, y'all better call the police.
Hey, hey, hey, what dollar bill tell blue?
Hey, hey, you're doing good, you did good.
Now get on back out there, can't come back.
Man, lock my nose, man.
Woo.
You did good, you did good.
Yeah, yeah.
And you're a players coach, man.
You're a head coach for a reason because you can resonate with the players.
He can't call the police.
Boy, listen.
Hey, that's funny.
No, man.
Man, man, man, that kid,
why?
He got that,
he wouldn't got the stick for real Joe and Ocho?
Hey.
I'm telling y'all, man,
it had to be by some money,
or that man got threatened,
brough.
That man had to get threatened.
He going to make a statement about this.
Hey, and, oh,
you got to think about it, too,
huh?
For, he's D tackle, right?
Yeah, D. Limer.
For a D.
Lyman,
they have to go get
his pipe out the car.
Not only does he feel threatened,
it has to be somebody that is
either the same position
or bigger and stronger.
That's what I'm saying.
That's the only thing I can think of.
Damn, that's messed up, man.
Man, that man, six foot four, three, 15.
Hey, uh,
he could, he could have been scared too.
Man.
Yeah, yeah, just see, that probably,
that's probably explained why they ain't winning no game.
They just, hey, they just won that.
Yeah, that what I'm saying?
Big old joker like that's gay.
Man, no, but all seriously, man,
but you can't do this, man, come on.
Chad, you know, you know, in a situation like this,
you can't go get those, you can't go get this.
You can't go get the tool on the man.
No.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm glad they de-escalated it.
Because if what did they think of, hey, there have been a lot of people
that life got.
ruined for one simple mistake.
Yeah.
Hey.
Sometimes you don't get a second chance.
One error in judgment.
And life is over.
Over.
Yeah.
Sometimes you don't get a second chance, boy.
Nope.
Nope.
It won't worth it.
Yeah.
Damn.
Bad news for the commanders.
Why receiver Terry McLaurin suffered a torn
Patella tendon against the 49ers.
And we'll be out for the season.
Ocho, they signed Stefan Diggs, the Maryland native.
Do you believe he can pick up the slack and become the commander's number one receiver?
I mean, he can pick up the slack, you know, with short and intermediate routes, being a safety valve for Jane Daniels.
He can do that, you know, but they still need someone that can stress the field.
You need someone that can stress the field and allow Diggs to dominate, you know, the underneath stuff.
So they have to go get somebody.
They have to.
There's no way their offense can function.
And now, hold on, we don't have to worry about the deep threat.
We don't have to worry about nobody taking the top off our defense.
Oh, that's easy for us.
That's easy.
Yeah, we can play man and man.
Matter of fact, not only can we play man to man,
we can put an extra man in the box so you can't run the ball.
Ain't nobody after the old Joe?
It's going to cripple your offense.
Who ain't going to go get?
There ain't nobody out there.
Hey, Joe, let me see.
Let me see.
It got to be.
Oh, what they're going to do.
Oh, yeah.
Man, it's all the way.
Ocho thing, they like got some ones and two just sitting on the couch.
Hey, hey, it got to be somebody out that could run now.
Who?
Hold on.
What are you talking about you're going to get you a track guy or something?
You need somebody.
Hey, Joe, you got to have somebody that can threaten the defense.
You have to have something that puts a little fear and keeps a defensive coordinator
and is secondary in that back in honest.
If you're not keeping it, if you're not keeping my honest, Joe, I mean, you're dead at the water.
There's nothing to be scared of
They're going to go get the boy
Your uncle talking about Brian Thomas
They're going to go get him
Oh, that's right
I said that last night's show
But you know when you're desperate
What do you do, Ocho
Joe, you overpay for stuff
Yeah
Yeah
Do you get you desperate
Ain't no way in hell
In normal situation
You're going to pay $12 for a hot dog
But you had a sporting event
Guess what?
You're going to pay $12
all of a damn hot dog.
You ain't lying, boy.
Well, you know you're going to get you a pack of 10, 12 hot dog for $12.
Man.
Hey, what about, um,
Jawan Jennings?
What's Juan Jennings right now?
Minnesota.
Okay, that's right.
He did go to Minnesota.
Question is, is Jerry, you know, people keep throwing out Jerry Judy.
Is he available?
That's that Jerry Judy, Brian Thomas, Jr.
Um,
trying to think of other Bible, Bible.
Deep threats.
They need a threat.
Damn deep.
They need a threat.
They need somebody
can catch the ball.
I mean,
well,
you got this.
You try to get too specific,
Coachella.
Yeah.
I'm just telling you
what they need,
right?
Because you already have people
that can catch the ball.
You got that.
You need,
I need somebody that can get vertical,
man.
I'm,
oh, they.
Somebody talking about Amar and Cooper.
Man,
Amari Cooper retired.
Amar said,
that's it.
I'm done.
They got, hey, they holl in Iyuk.
They can go get Iyuk.
Hey, I forgot about Brandon.
Huh?
No.
They ain't going to mess with him.
They had an opportunity to get it.
Let this, this offseason, didn't he?
Yeah.
He didn't do himself no favor though, Joe.
It kept coming on social media and talking crazy.
Yeah, I don't think you understand, but NFL do not play.
They will move on by you.
Yes.
It will move on by you.
quick
hey look somebody gonna be looking
for Tyreek service soon
yeah
you can't run them
you can't run them into the damn ground though
you know man I feel
bad I mean tear I mean
I mean
man guys
I'm trying to think
guys ain't tear stuff like what they're tearing
now man
I don't know what's going on
I mean
them dudes don't they
man y'all know them dudes they
I ain't saying they ain't training like that
but
They ain't playing
enough ball, bro.
I'm like, damn.
I mean, the Terrapa Tell a tender
and what, I mean, I'm looking at
I'm trying to see like,
like it, what do you step on somebody's foot?
Or he, he, he, he, he, he planted too hard.
Well, you know, he, you know he got, he had hamstring problems.
Y'all know that the hamstring connect to that knee.
Okay, oh Joe.
Yeah, for sure.
So, absolutely, absolutely.
So that hamstring gave out, it'll make that knee give out too now.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
And probably the tendons and stuff,
everything,
everything is a counterbalance.
Yep, yeah, yeah.
Wee quad, weak halvestrings.
Yeah.
We quads, weak glutes.
We heels.
Yeah, yeah.
Calves tight.
Because the body, the body's going to,
the thing is about the body,
the body will compensate.
Yeah.
When something is hurt, yeah.
But he made me.
The body will compensate and then you end up messing up.
So it's just like,
if you drive around on a flat,
Oh, the car still go, but you might mess up your rear end.
You might mess up your front end.
Yeah.
Yeah, he running an out route.
It's gonna be off.
Go ahead, Joe.
I say he was running the out route.
And when he stepped, it looked like he stepped, he stepped on the DB.
Or they, they collided in some kind of way.
And he just went straight to the ground.
Hey, damn.
He the one held out a training cap early last year, right, to get his money.
Yeah, yeah.
What do he end up getting?
He got the money?
What do you get about $29, $30 million?
You got a nice little, you know.
He's still going to get that, though?
It all depends on how much he got guaranteed.
Oh, okay.
Because you know, NFL salaries all of it ain't guaranteed.
Yeah.
Damn.
Damn.
But they got digs.
He's called a touchdown.
Played really, really well.
I'm sure he enjoyed being home.
I mean, he didn't want to,
I'm sure he wanted to increase.
role in the offense.
Don't think he quite wanted it like this.
Right.

Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.
I'm Lexi Youanu.
We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa DiGulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions.
And at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anywhere fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes,
good taste is my business
and I've always got something to say
if men were just honest about this
there would be so much more peace in the world
we're gonna talk about dating
relationships beauty getting older
and a little wiser
we're best friends but we don't always agree
because you told us how accommodating you are

to fight the fight but there's only so much fight I can fight
don't lie to me don't lie to me
don't lie to me don't lie to me don't lie to me
Don't lie to me.
Liar.
Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
I don't really care.
You're going to get it now.
Ocho, Cam Scatterbo has one less running back to worry about.
The Giants are releasing Najee Harris.
He had four carries for two yards.
Here's what Najee said after receiving limited carries on Sunday.
It's hard to get into a rhythm with one or two runs.
The first couple of runs, you're like, okay, how are they playing me?
And then the next one, be like, this is how you attack it.
But if you're going to play here and there and take it out for a series,
there's nothing you can do.
That's why I'm saying.
I don't know I've ever been through this before.
Yeah.
Ocho.
Yeah.
When you get brought in at the last minute, you can't say nothing.
At all.
At all.
And I can't what we say, production and tolerance.
Yeah.
Now, if that's something.
uh, uh, Jemir Gibbs and he said, you know what?
Dave using me correctly.
I need to be used.
I need to be used more correctly.
Ain't nothing being saying.
When you just got signed off somebody's couch,
I'm going to collect my check.
Keep my mouth shut.
Yeah.
Hey, what them,
four do,
they don't them folk do not play at all.
He telling people this.
Man, speak your mind.
Okay.
You're going to be out of a job speaking of your mind.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's how.
That's how.
How good in theory, Joe?
Man, you ought to, you ought to, me speak in my mind.
I'm going to get the same.
I'm going to get the same.
I'm going to make the same money.
Whether I speak my mind or not.
I'm going to go out here.
They throw me 12 balls.
I'm going to catch as many of those I can.
I'm going to catch at least 10 of them.
They throw me two balls.
I'm going to try to catch at least both of them.
It's not my job.
I don't get no extra money for telling you how to use me.
You're supposed to know.
You're the coach.
You're the coordinator.
Hello.
Yeah.
talking to himself out of job.
Oh, I can see this way.
What did John Harbaugh said?
I would love to have a back like Derek Henry.
If we had a back like there, Henry, he would get Derek Henry carries.
But we don't have that.
Yeah.
So I don't know what you.
I don't know what you would.
Pittsburgh moved on.
Charges moved on.
You interject the Giants.
You get an opportunity.
Oh, I'm just going to go ball as much as I can.
If they give me four rep, four carers, I got four carries.
They give me 14 carries.
I got 14 carries.
I'm not in a position.
I'm not K9.
I'm not Bijan.
Bejohn can say, hey, man,
look, bro, I need more touches.
Yeah.
Javier Gil said, I can need more touches.
Jonathan Taylor said, I need more touches.
Derek Henry.
Bro, you're not that.
And they say, you know what?
Ocho, Joe, it's easier for us to just move on.
Got to, got to be, got to be more careful.
Do they understand that sports is really, really cruel?
Very.
If you're a new person on the job and your production like it,
you can't talk like somebody that's been produced,
that's been there for years and been producing.
Right.
Bro, you attempt.
The first one to get, the first ones to get let go, attempt workers.
I feel bad for old bro, but you're like, God, this, I mean,
I don't know, Ocho.
I'm just going to take, I was going to take whatever they give me.
I just got off the couch.
I'm getting the check, Ocho.
Hey, but some, he might feel I want to come in here and contribute.
I was a starter in Pittsburgh, you know.
I think I can still play.
Just give me an opportunity.
Put me in a position to make the plays.
Let me show you I can still do it.
Hey, that's a conversation that's supposed to be had behind closed doors.
The giant said, acknowledge you, you, I got a contract between,
weeks, me and you to say you do what I tell you to do.
Say who you think you here.
Javier Gibbs?
Pijan Robinson.
All you do is catch a few passes out the backfield.
That's all you do.
Don't say nothing.
Hey, Najee.
Don't make me raise up.
It's going to be trouble.
Trouble.
Yeah.
Damn.
I don't get it.
Look, none of us has ever been in this position.
Ocho, you've been a start,
I was a start of my whole, uh,
the last 11 years of my career.
So I've never been in the situation.
But even when I wasn't catching,
yes,
I was frustrated because I felt I could do so much more.
Right.
I just keep busting my ass and practice
and eventually they saw it.
Joe, that's all you had to do.
Hey, like, man, hey, I know you wanted more minutes, Joe.
Man, they gave me to you do the 15, 16 minutes.
Man, hey, give me 25, give me 30 minutes.
Let me show you what I can do.
Yeah, yeah.
I just got to play my way into that.
But what they do give me, got to make the most of it.
Got to.
Can't complain.
You can't, man.
You ask you for more.
Hey, my grandma said, boy, you ask for more.
Eat what's on your plate.
Yeah.
Well, you put some, you put some on my plate that I really wanted.
I would eat it.
I don't want no squash.
I don't want no okra.
I don't want no tomatoes.
I don't want none of that.
Hey.
When Boston gave it a 10-day Ugger-Ojo and I played the first game.
Yeah.
I said, hell, I know I'm going to play.
I'm going to play the next few games.
They got nine guys out with COVID.
Yeah.
Well, I didn't sniff the court again.
They playing dudes I had never even heard of before.
I'm sitting on the bitch like, damn.
We played on Christmas Day, bro.
They can't get me off the couch on the 19-Ughur.
We played on Christmas Day, bro.
I'm on that like, yeah, I'm going to get some burn on Christmas 40 years old.
Man, they ain't touched the damn flow.
Hey, Joe, they put you to game you all still.
Man, I'm like, look, I, look, I'm like, man,
let me get a little, but I just want to hoop, bro.
You know what I'm saying?
Then let me get to run.
Look, it was game.
We were blowing teams out.
They still wouldn't put me in for whatever reason.
I know what you're talking about, Uncle Ocho.
I'm like, damn, man, they put me in.
I can go old.
They do it.
What?
What?
Nothing, bro.
Joe, you got all warmed up.
You got you a nice little latherguard and pregame.
Like, yeah, yeah, you know, they're gonna come with your boy here.
I figured it out, though.
Orjo, they put me in and I played well.
It was gonna be hard for them to tell people why they had to let me go.
You know what I mean?
Right.
Because then I was, they had already told me and my agent that it was gonna be done after the 10 day.
But like, if you tell somebody that and you give them a clock and they out there
balling, it's hard to explain that.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Joe say, Joe, why you, why you even take the 10 day?
You already, they told you, say, you know,
Hey, Joe, all we got it's a 10 day for you.
Why you take it?
Because they told me I can hoop, huh?
I love hooping, bro.
Like, I am a hoop junkie.
I'm so in love with the game.
It ain't even funny.
So the fact that I was already in good shape,
and for you to hit me, I'm out taking my,
it was my daughter birthday, bro.
I'm out even with my daughter.
They were like, man, can you catch a flight in three hours?
Like, hey, yeah, I took her straight to her,
mama, quit.
I'm gone.
Daddy going to hoop.
Don't worry about I got you, baby.
I got it.
Yeah, I ain't lying, chat.
Hey, I was out of it.
Hey, she probably said, well, damn, Joe,
I thought you was taking it off.
I thought you were going to spend some time.
Like, no, I got to call.
I got to go.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, they understand.
They understand.
Yeah.
I swear, I ain't lying.
Hey.
All right, it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q and A.
Hello, Big Three.
Let me first say thank you for the nightcap.
My dad has had health issues for a while,
but Nightcap has brought my dad relief and comfort through it all.
Pops is in ICU and only has days left.
My dad name is Larry.
Can you please shout him out?
Love you, Dad.
Absolutely.
Eldon.
What's up, Eldon?
Appreciate this.
Larry, man.
Hey, his name, Joseph Townsend.
So thank you, man.
Thank you for sending us this, man.
And your father, obviously, it means a lot.
It would mean a lot to you for us, but our thoughts and prayers go out to him.
I know it's tough.
And for you to send us this, we greatly, greatly appreciate it.
And we're so sorry that your father is going through this.
We're so sorry that your family is having to deal with this.
But just know that our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family
and air all the loved ones that's being impacted by this.
So Larry, thank you, man, for watching Nightcap.
We greatly, greatly appreciate that.
And we wish you a speedy recovery.
Don't give up the fight, though, Joseph.
Keep praying.
Yes, sir.
A 14 playoff, last four NBA champions seated by record.
Number one, 25 OKC versus number four, 2023 Denver.
Two, 2024 Boston versus number 20, number three, 2026.
Nix.
Healthy roster, best of seven, who wins?
Out of the 20.
OKC would take on the Denver Nuggets and the Boston Celtics
would take on the New York Knicks.
They said, who will win?
what a series on right now healthy roster best of seven uh i just think i think it's gonna be hard
to be okay see if they healthy i don't care i don't care who it is i think it's gonna be hard
to beat them boston nix i'm going nix i don't think boston got enough no more i'm be honest
with you i don't think they got enough i think it's going to be so much riding on tatum this season
bro.
I don't know if he's going to be able to carry that low,
you know, I don't know if Paul George
going to consistently give you no damn 38 points of night.
Yeah.
Marvin Gay, Ray J, B2K, Beyonce,
six and five.
PG, why they take him out in the game?
He was cooking.
He was.
This is the old PJ.
And he, hey.
He's silky smooth, and he getting that three ball going?
Yeah.
Yeah, his, you know what?
He plays great.
I think he can play great off other guys because he,
his catching shoe game, so elite, Uncle Ocho.
Yep.
He is money.
I'm talking about he had that thing.
Hey, he got it going.
His first look was so easy.
It's like guys like him when they get into rhythms,
you can't cool them off.
You know what I mean?
You can't cool them out.
So he had it going.
We chose violence tonight.
Go Thunder.
You have Thunder put BTA to the Spurs.
physical physicality they know how to play the spurs hey we ain't feeling let women just roam around here and just do what he want
oh now we're gonna put the elbows in his back we'll beat him up a little bit recently y'all was talking like talking sGA versus yokeets you asked what sGA does better than yokets i thought at least oh iso would sustain the obvious defense
afterwards you said sGA don't play defense like that he's one of two guards the average a block per game also top of seven dpo in uh 24
24 saying he don't play D is egregious up.
When I look at SG, I don't look at an own ball defender.
Normally, the best opposing offensive player, if he's a guard or a small guy, do they put SGA on him?
No, they put new door on it.
They put J. Dub on it.
Yeah.
Cason Wallace comes in.
Joe would come in and take him.
Yeah.
At any point in time, late in the ball game, even when Kobe wasn't, didn't start on the guy.
late in the ball game, Kobe would defend the guy.
LeBron, even though he wouldn't start on the guy,
late in the ball game, he would defend the guy.
When I look at the defendant,
obviously, you look at a Ron Ortiz,
you look at a Michael Cooper,
you look at some of the better defensive players,
okay, I'm not saying he has to be that.
But when I look at a defender,
I'm looking at that guy's, okay,
are they putting you on the best guy?
Right.
Rodman took Larry Bird.
Rodman took Michael Jordan.
Rodman took Magic Johnson.
Yeah, yeah.
Go ahead, Joe.
You want to say.
He's, he's, he may not be labeled as a defender,
but he's not a guy who you can go at.
You know what I mean?
Like, he can hold his own, Uncle Ocho.
He can guard.
He can guard.
I think they whole damn team can guard, bro,
and they play great team defense.
He's not, he's not a guy who you're going to seek out
and be like, look, we're going to him.
And the reason he don't guard the opposing team's top players,
because he's so great offensively
and they depend on him so much offensively.
They can't afford to do that
and put him on the best player
and him get a couple of files.
Now what the hell we're going to do?
In trouble.
You know what I mean?
But I think you almost have to go at it.
If I'm the Lakers, I want Luca to go at him.
If he's gone to look at him.
I want Luka to go at him.
Because I got to make him work, Joe.
Yeah.
That's the thing.
You cannot let an elite score.
You can't let him rest on the other end.
You can't.
You can't let him conserve his energy
just to bust your ass, Paul,
on one end of the court.
I got to make you expend some of that energy.
Absolutely.
And that's what they figured out about Luca.
That's why they pick him up full court.
They pick him up full court and what do they do?
They put his ass in the picket roll.
Put him in the picket road.
The same thing to do with Austin Reeve.
Hey, okay, y'all want to give us 30 on one end
when we're going to get y'all 32 on the other end.
Yeah, you think you're going to run over here and just guard,
just none shoot over here in the corner?
Come here.
Come set this pick and roll.
Yeah, we're going to keep you in action all game.
You know what I mean?
So you're going to have to pick a side,
whether it's offensive defense when you want to rest.
You know what I'm saying?
The top guys, bro, you got to make them work.
If you let him play one end, kind of like AI,
when he was playing.
You let him play one end, Uncle Ocho.
He's going to burn you every time, bro.
Absolutely.
Do y'all fake the NFL Paris game
will still happen with all the hoot and the hollering
that's been happening over there?
Absolutely.
the NFL pairs game.
Yeah, it's going to happen.
Absolutely.
Boy, that money involved.
They got money on the wood.
Money on the wood is good.
What's up, Big Three?
What are y'all thoughts if the Giants are able to trade
for Jonathan Taylor also loving the new graphic for basketball?
Why would the Giants do that?
Yeah, why would, why would Indy trading?
Yeah.
That ain't happening.
I think we talked about that a few nights ago,
about Jonathan Taylor going somewhere,
where else it wasn't the giants though I forgot where it was but why would why would
they trade him to Ocho yeah they wouldn't they wouldn't hey listen they clean the house
with the GM they might they might they might want to start elsewhere too trying to get
some of that money off the books and how to John the Taylor shit I don't even think he 30
yet no I don't think so either they ain't going nowhere man they might they might get up
off it's too it's too soon to throw the towel in yet I don't know if I
I do that.
I definitely,
because I think he's my best player.
Yeah.
And he,
you just signed him,
you just signed him,
gave him a new contract two years
for 44 million,
Joe.
Yeah,
he did,
though.
They ain't nothing.
That man,
27, Joe.
Damn.
He young.
Oh, yeah.
He ain't going nowhere.
Even though we lost,
seeing the Knicks raise a banner
and get rings,
got me emotional.
Never thought I see it.
When y'all played.
was there one guy you knew would give you or your team hell every time yeah
hell yeah Derek Thomas DT yeah DT was in DT was at the same division every year
twice a year one time we played them three times in a year I was in the same
division with priest Holmes I was the same division with LeDadian Thomason
who
boy y'all cooking in that division what yeah
I mean, think about it.
We had Clinton Porter's, Kansas City had Priests home.
San Diego.
Yeah, San Diego had L.T.
Damn.
Hey, that you played against.
Those are the running back Ocho in our division.
You didn't play against Napoleon Kaufman?
I did play against Nicolium Kaufman in the 90s.
He hit us up one year for 200.
And he was with the Raiders?
Yep.
Damn.
Yep.
Oh.
It's AI for me, man.
AI, it don't matter what team I was on.
He gave us hell.
Man, I was in the Bronco with Bo when Bo was healthy.
Bo would come back out to baseball.
He used to be cutting like that up.
Yeah, he ran over one of that guy that went like 50 yards.
Like, damn.
Rad to slap over.
Hey, hey, when guys be getting flatline like that,
when they get ran over, do y'all say something about that
when y'all get into the locker room?
Oh, yeah.
Hey, Joe, they're going to fly, Joe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, what?
Hey, the first thing I said, hey,
but I hope we win this game.
Come boy, we don't win this game.
You only going to get kicked a little bit if we win.
Yeah.
Boy, you get tow up and we lose.
Ah, man, you're the reason why we lost the game.
Hey.
Damn.
76's game felt like the Super Bowl,
never seen so many new commercials for a regular season game.
It felt like playoffs for real, real talk.
It felt like a real playoff game.
I ain't going to lie to you.
I was thinking that watching, I'm like, damn.
It's, it's thick enough, boy, the intensity, right.
We're trying to get some more commercials too.
What's up, Nightcap fan, fellas.
How many wins do y'all think the Sixers will win this year?
And Ocho, do you think the Heat going to compete with the Sixers?
Child, please.
I got the Sixers at about 50,
55.
That's what I say.
I think I got them at 55 too, Joe.
Yeah, I got him about 54, 55.
Yeah, I got him.
I get him about,
I get him 49, Joe.
49 win?
Yeah, 49.
First year together.
And, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
hey, whoever that was,
you talk about Mike.
Watch, you're going to see the best team
that's in the East play tomorrow night.
Uh-oh.
Oh, oh.
Yeah, I'm, I'm making it.
Hey, guys, love the show.
Keep up the great work, been in since day one.
Ocho, I've got an FC portal soccer jersey that I love to send your way.
Where can I ship it?
Much love from a long-time fan.
Yeah, yeah, send it to me, send it to, send me a,
send me a DM on Instagram.
And matter of fact, speaking of FC Portal, one of my favorite players
played for FC Portal, Felipe,
B. Anderson.
I know,
Felipe Anderson.
Wait. Yeah.
Yeah. Felipe Anderson.
Is it? Yeah.
You got to do some Chicago. The city.
Love you, man. You from here,
possibly the best athlete from here.
Yeah, I was born there.
Me and my brother, we were born in Chicago,
but Georgia home, man, I ain't going to have been to hold you.
I only, I know y'all. I was in the shadow.
They were there long. My sister was there.
My sister was there the longest. My sister was there from 60 to
70. I was only there for two years.
Spangie was there for five years.
Oh, you could have been, you could have been a nice.
Hey, you're from Shirek.
Okay.
Okay.
Nah.
Shout out to the most handsome big three in the podcast history.
Joe met you in 96 at the barbershop on Chico Road where Duane was cutting your hair.
You were quiet as a church mouth.
Surprised to see you so talking.
Love you guys.
Yeah, yeah.
Then were the days, bro.
Yeah, when I'm talking
Me talking about,
man,
they,
Hey,
I'm waiting on you
and I want you to come get,
come get you to do what?
I'm going to,
what?
You don't talk.
What's up big three?
If you had in Mount Rushmore,
which four games that you played in
are you putting up there?
Wait,
Mount Rushmore,
what?
The game,
so you get to pick,
you get to pick four games
that you actually played in.
that you want to put on your Mount Rushmore.
I can't even remember the day.
I can't remember the year.
Joe, what's the most points you scored in the game?
50?
Not like 44, 45?
Y'all win?
Yeah.
I got a couple times.
A couple times I scored 40,
but like I ain't get to play in the fourth quarter or something.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all blowing them out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm trying to think, man.
That's a good one.
Ooh.
Four games.
I got a couple closing games, game winners.
I probably could come up with a couple.
I got Kansas City in 2002, the record-breaking game.
I got the Chargers in 96.
Yeah.
Probably.
Probably Buffalo opening 95.
That's a good question.
I don't know.
I mean, I had some good games against the Chargers, too.
Yeah, that's tough.
I had some good games in New York.
boy in that guard.
Boy,
he should be nothing like that.
Amosphy should be crazy.
See,
a loud 35,
37,
38.
Yeah.
He could look better
than 50 points.
Okay,
Ocho.
Yeah.
You know,
if I go 13 for 17 from the field
with only two or three free throws
versus a cat
who has shot 25 damn free throws,
you know what I mean?
It's a big difference.
It's a difference.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Doctors don't care.
They did it to Tyrone.
Think about the scene in any given Sunday with Lawrence Taylor.
He convinced the team doctor to give him an extra shot knowing he shouldn't play in the next game.
He's saying there's some truth in that.
They're saying that's how y'all get down.
Hey.
So many examples.
Any chance the FBI or DOJ could launch an investigation into the Eagles and the NFL.
Absolutely not.
No.
I don't think you understand.
how powerful them folks is,
now, don't...
Yeah.
And where they spend
most of their money.
But anyway,
that's not the here or no there.
