with Braun going to Philly because everything revolves around Joel and B. Because think about it, if he's not playing, hell, that's going to hurt you. But if he ain't healthy and he's laboring up and down the court, I mean, what good is it going to be? Can you really depend on him in an 82 game season? And then, hell, we know how everything revs up in the postseason.

Like, can you really count on him to be healthy and be there for this six of team. Tell me what, give me your thoughts, bro. Do y'all think it be really going, is he going to be that factor that they need him to be to be able to compete for a title? You got it, smooth. I mean, if he's healthy,

but I don't like, I think that they building this team to kind of like have pieces missing during the regular season. So I think this is a playoff built team. I don't think that they're going to do a lot of wear and tear with Joelle and be whatever they know about his knees. They know it. So I think they're going to take more precaution. I think when he rests and plays, he's a better player.

And so I'm trying to figure out like, do you really play him a lot in the regular season? You mean making play. make him play limited minutes. Like limited minutes, sometimes miss games. You know what I'm saying? Maybe play half the season. Dang. What you thinking, T?

Because I'm just thinking about the rhythm, though. Like, yeah, I'm with you on that too, though. I'm with you on that too. And like Joe said, it takes, like you said, you got to throw the ball to them. Like, you got to post them. You have to post them. You got to have them at the top of it.

the key with the ball. So I think those other guys can move the ball well, but LeBron wants the ball in his hands too. So how does that work? Like he wants to be able to dictate the offense and facilitate too well. So how does that work as far as like, and I'm not saying like you said,

You know, he just want to be able to magic that thing, get him 10, 12 assists, 8. 18 points. Yeah, what did you think of the team? Maybe one to the world and beat, you know, to get up and down a little more too with this team. Yeah, I keep thinking, like, we keep forgetting about,

like, now we're not forgetting about him, but Jalen Brown, he coming from almost averaging, what, 28, 29 points a game? Like, one of the best players in the league last year. Yeah, we got to factor in. He still got to be Jalen Brown. Like, he can't be taking a backseat to nobody. Tyree's Maxie.

He had his best when he's scoring. So I'm trying to figure out, We know Joel and B going to miss time. Who's the backup center? They lost drumming. They got bona, bono, that hard playing high-energy cat. Yeah, but like, y'all, y'all living with y'all rolling? I mean, look, when you got J.B., him and Maxi probably top five in the NBA and fast break points.

For sure. Here's my thing. That's my only problem. It's like, I don't want to see Philly get bogged down trying to throw it to NB every other damn play and you get them guys out of sync to where they're not even you know engaged in the game you know they ain't really get no easy looks i think them these young guys edge come uh maxi and even even jb they're going to thrive off defense steals and transition if they ain't able to do that bro it's going to be hard for them to win you know we're walking the ball of the court every day and time

we got to rely on that for sure what's that deals and transition i think july jesus i think july J.B. going to get some plays in the half court. Like, because you got, VJ was playing super well until Paul George got back, and then he had to take a back seat to Paul George a little bit. So, so I'm just like, he is a, he is a piece, a valuable piece. But like, like T said, one of them, one of them guys are going to,

And J.B ain't going to average no damn 28 Maxie ain't going to average no 28 I know what you said about edge come If you averaging 16 17 you want to build on that Especially as a young player Maybe you stay there but take your efficiency up Yeah I just don't think Brown going to be a problem

My only concern I'm telling you all my only was MB bro I just want to know where is my mindset is what type of shape he's going to come in come into and with jb and brine really taking care of themselves so much like on as far as a health wise and playing in games i hope joel and b follow suit or i hope he rubs off on him to where he gets back to being that dominant center he ain't got an average no damn 25 30 but he wanted you want him to be efficient and you want him to be assertive you want him to be the mismatch i'm telling you see i don't know if y'all seen him reports were brunt where he said him and brun had a real uh they met up one and had a one-on-one

because think about it if you brun brun brough you got to know how this man what his man thought process is he even trying to get up out of here does he want to even be here i know he's making a lot of money i think his money kicking in this year so it's going to be hard to trade him so i think they're going to be able to figure this thing out i think all those guys going to really have to uh uh take somewhat of a backseat if they want to be a great team and i could just tell you all this bro. I remember playing in Phoenix, and the year before we got Nash and Quentin Richardson, we won no damn playoff team. We were trapped, but I was out there getting money, Teague and smooth. I was out there getting money. You hear me? So when they said that they were bringing

in Nash and Quentin Richardson, I didn't really know what to expect. You know what I mean? I probably average, I think I averaged 18 points in the regular season and 20 in the postseason. Now, I'm your fourth or fifth option. Hell, you ain't got that in the NBA no more. Ain't no fourth or fifth option in the NBA averaging no 18 or 20 points a game. I'm playing with the MVP. I'm playing with three bona fide all-stars and Steve Nash and Marry, Stard Marry, Sean Marion. You have to find a way to be effective, meaning be more efficient.

I probably shot 50-something from the field. I was second. Well, I was number one in the NBA and three-point percentages that year. And Quinn Richardson led the NBA and three-point makes. So it's like, like, you got to really lock in. I'm like, damn, we got a pass first point guard and Steve Nash who probably could have averaged it. If you just want to be 100, he could have averaged 22, 24 game.

That man settled for 16 a night and 13 assists. You see what I'm saying? Like, if you get you a situation like that to where you get a guy who really comes in and make everybody around them better, and I think that's what LeBron does, man, the sky's the limit for that team, bro, because they're not lacking nothing. But yeah, but y'all ain't had Joellen B, though. We had Amari, though.

We had them like, hey, Amari was a dog team. No disrespect to Amari, but he's a picking role player. He went, and it's the thing. So if you got two guys like Amari and Steve Nash running a pick and roll, and then you got the top three-point shooter make in Quentin, and the top three-point percentage in me, who you have to give up something it's like okay boom we're gonna stay home hey omari got 50 points with 10 dunks you see what I'm saying yeah but they don't

He can kick it out. Guys are going to have open shots, but that's not J.B. games. J.B. ain't a catching shoe player. He can make threes. He's not a catch-up shoe player. Maxie can make threes,

I just assumed that I was. You know what I mean? Man, he put me in that first game. and I went down there and got me a little bucket. Mind you, we probably ain't got, but like eight players dressing out, smooth and teak. So I'm thinking, okay, damn, I got 10 days.

Yeah, we played on Christmas and some most of it. So it's like, oh, yeah, I'm going to get some old run. Man, I ain't touched the flow no damn more, man. I ain't getting no more burn. I'm talking about we playing teams. Hold on, listen, we playing team blowing them out. I'm like, oh, yeah, I know you can throw me in now. No burn. I ain't get no more burn out of the game one. I'm talking about we ain't have but a players

We had but but but I enjoyed it though. I enjoyed it. I got a chance to You know really spend some time with J.B and JT That was cool if they they made it to the finals a year and played the boys and lost had they won you got a ring man I went back to the Hawks for the second time How was it? It was man. They got a whole country club they You remember we used to practice in that little dungeon in the back of the arena.

I was like, nah, I'm good. They offered me a one-year-a-old. I said, I'm straight. It was a lot different when you came back on. I would enroll in with that team. I was like, nah. Who was coaching? Who was coaching, T? Lloyd Pierce, man.

y'all somehow still make the playoffs oh yeah and i look at those coaches as like okay those are elite coaches oh yeah not not only that but when you get in the postseason can you make those coaching adjustments that you that you need you know to be able to prevail in a series i think that's that's understated you know especially in the NBA bro because when you really think about it One player can really control a whole game in basketball. It ain't the same with football, but one player in basketball can control a game. Now, you do need multiple guys who can help along the way.

But, man, if you got good coaching and good players, that's a great recipe for a championship run. I said, no their roles too, man. No their roles, no their limitations. I know, that's the biggest key. And that's what Philly going to have to deal with. That's what Miami, the Miami Heat going to have to deal. with they're going to have to deal with learning chemistry and continuity early so they can try to

get out to somewhat of a good start you know it it's hard to it's hard playing against a team like the nicks who already had that that chemistry and continuity that they play with it's going to be hard to be teams like that because they already know the pecking order smooth they know everything run through brunson and cat and the rest does bridges heart OG we're going to get what we can get but we're going be hell effective with it.
