The Saints defeated the Giants by the score of 34 to 27.
This was a while one.
The Saints were up 3410 with seven minutes left in the ball game.
John Harbaugh had enough of the Jamest Winston experience.
He bids Jamies after throwing two picks.
J.J. McCarthy came in the game and immediately,
in the words of Tom Brady, threw a meatball sub with extra meatballs.
But he ended the game 11 for 21.
269, a touchdown and a pick.
Guys, did Jojo show,
the JJ show you enough
that he potentially could be the guy in New York?
Absolutely not.
Hell no.
What?
Ocho, did you see what that man did
in that, what was that?
Four quarter.
Man, Joe, don't do that, Joe.
Don't do that.
Oh, Joe.
Well, we're not going to do,
hey, that's fools' goal.
That small sample size,
are you going in there?
when there's no pressure on you, whether you win or lose,
and you're going to use that as a measuring stick
to him being the starter now with James?
If he'd have went in there, Ocho, it looked like some stir fry,
then we'd have been talking crazy about the young man.
The boy went in there and bawled out, man.
Come on, no do, don't do JJ like that.
Hold on, hold on.
So he went in there and bawled out,
so now you want to be the starter for the New York Giants?
I think he's going to be the starter.
Ocho.
Ocho, James, James is a great veteran guy.
a great locker room guy.
Hell, I want my star and quarterback.
That's who I want his back up to be.
You know, he's going to motivate you.
He's great for the locker room.
Go give you some great speeches, okay?
But, man, come on, man.
Stop playing.
He good for about two games.
Alone.
After that.
It's the same JJ McCarthy we seen with Minnesota
that was stinking it up all last year.
This is the same one we talked about?
He learned from that.
He learned from that.
Okay, all right.
You know what?
There you get.
Hey, hey, hey.
You're right.
You're right, Joe.
You know what?
Let him start.
Let me start.
Listen, listen, listen, listen.
Listen, I got in trouble with my last ex.
I learned from that relationship.
So when I get to this new relationship,
I'm going to be a totally different player, man.
I ain't coming in after midnight, Ocho.
I'm coming in at LEM 59.
I ain't coming in after midnight.
Okay.
Yeah.
Hey, now, I hear y'all, I hear both of y'all bouching for it, right?
Both of y'all vouching for it?
Oh, Cho.
Hold on, hold on.
I get y'all vouching for, y'all, y'all bouching for Cam Scatterbo getting bins too,
huh?
Hey, now I ain't voucher.
What happened?
What did he do?
What young players?
What happens when you fumble the ball and you turn?
What happens, Ocho?
You're right, you're right.
You're right.
Are you surprised?
Scattermore said, I knew, hey, I made a mistake.
I'm paying for my stakes, but my mistakes, when coach called my number,
I just got to make sure I'm ready.
All things being equal.
We know what we got with James Winston.
James Winston is not a consistent starting in the lead.
Remember he was in Cleveland?
When he was in Cleveland,
did he have an opportunity to start in Cleveland?
Yeah.
What happened, Ocho?
Hey, we know what happened, huh?
I'm just talking about,
I'm just saying the body bossing behind him made no goddamn better.
Because what happened when he was with Minnesota?
Huh?
What we talk about?
Ocho, I think the thing.
Do you forget the offense he just came from?
Yes.
Do you see the offense?
Do you see the offense over here in New York?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay, we got likely.
We got Malik neighbors.
Yes, Malik neighbors played out of his mind, $12.
Hey, but the young bull crazy coming off that ACL injury.
Oh, yes.
I don't know.
He's from LSU, so I expect that.
I ain't, I ain't even talk about that.
That's expected from anybody that's wore that yellow and purple.
Hey, I.
But how are you speaking down on JJ McCarty?
What you mean?
How have you seen him play?
I've seen him play today.
He bawled out.
What are you talking about?
Joe. He bawled out. He got an opportunity. He got an opportunity. He got an opportunity. He got an opportunity today, Ojo. And that's the only thing he can work with, bro. These are the cars that he dealt. So look, boom, they don't put me in to this time. I got to go in and ball out.
You couldn't be no scout. Because off of one game, they have fool you every time. I didn't see what you look like. I didn't see what you look like for a whole season. So I already know what I'm getting. I know what I'm getting. So you come in, you come to a new team. You play one game.
with no pressure on you and you play where all of a sudden you to answer.
Growth and maturity, Ocho.
Growth and maturity.
It takes that for these young players to kind of go through a little something,
learn from those mistakes and bring it into this new situation, bro,
and try and be a whole better player.
He had the potential to be a first,
he was potentially a first round piece.
Come on, man.
Let's see what the man got.
Our opportunity has presenting itself.
Let the man go out there and shine, bro.
So, hold on, Ocho, Joe.
So Ocho, you stick with Jamis.
Yeah, absolutely.
Absolutely.
Man, gonna lose the damn job.
He's gonna lose it.
You know what?
Don't worry about it.
Matter of fact, hold on, I got one for y'all.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Let me see what he got there.
Who do these giants play next?
I don't know.
I don't know what you all been watching.
I don't know.
The Jamest experience is what, Joe.
He going to keep both teams in the game.
Yours and the other.
And what's the JJ McCarthy experience?
Oh, Joe.
We're trying to see.
Ocho.
You're talking about a guy that's three years in the league
versus a guy that's been in the league 10 or 11 years.
Well, the three he's been in that he ain't look good at all.
Who?
He was in Tampa.
What happened?
He goes to New Orleans.
Wait, wait.
We still talk about a guy that puts up numbers against the guy that ain't put up.
But we're not winning.
So you're going to put up a guy who's done nothing
based on one with experience that at least can give me a chance.
chance to win.
What are we talking about?
He gives the other team equally a chance to win.
That's why he took it by because he had two picks.
Hold on.
Hold on.
But then you bring in a guy who looks good for 30 minutes and you think he's the answer
when he gave you three years of nothing.
No, Ocho, we're not saying he's the answer.
But we know what James is.
James isn't the answer either.
He's not,
Ocho.
Listen, can we go to the better of the two?
Can we go the better the two then?
The better than two, AJJ.
Which you ever get hit by, 18 wheeler or a dump truck?
Shit, they both hurt.
They both hurt.
Huh?
That's what I'm saying.
The chat got to understand what I'm talking about.
If you've been watching football, like, I'm getting a little passionate about this.
And I ain't been like this in a real long time, Joe.
But like, come on, man.
What we doing?
What do you mean?
I, listen, I, I, I, I, I'm, I'm getting a little passionate about this.
He's like Jason McCarthy as a person, but as a player, he's not the answer.
Because if you were the answer, that elite offense you just left in Minnesota,
you would still be there.
That would be your team.
Stop.
So let me.
But here's the thing to Ocho.
So what are we going to do with Jamers?
We're going to let him continue to turn the ball over.
You got to realize you were down 3410.
They were to throw in the ends on away from tying this game up.
Come on, man.
Do you believe Jamis would have put them in the same situation?
No.
Come on, uh.
You know what?
You know what?
I'm gonna let, hey, hey, I'm tired of.
I'm gonna let this go,
because I don't wanna get upset
my blood pressure high right now.
And there's no need for me to get upset
because the Giants are not my team,
but I can feel myself going on now.
So I'm gonna say, I'm gonna put a poll up.
Ash, put a poll up.
Who we got?
Who should start the next game?
JJ McCarthy or Jamis Winston?
Let me get in the chat right.
Hey, I'm gonna put my little.
Hey.
And I'm gonna put my love.
I'm assuming the chat, these are, these are not casuals.
These are real football fans that are in the chat that enjoy the show.
So I know, I know good and well.
I know.
Ocho, why you think the Giants traded for him and brought him over there?
There was no other, what you mean?
Why?
Don't do that.
Yeah, if they believe James was the guy, they wouldn't have did that, Ocho.
There we go.
Hey, I tell you what.
That's all I'm trying to say.
They got a buy week or they're on the buy week this week?
Who else?
The Giants.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, they're on the back.
But I'll tell you what, go ahead, you know what?
Go ahead and start JJ.
Guess who they got coming out of that back?
Who do they got coming?
The Texans.
Yeah, don't worry about it.
Since y'all think he'd answer,
we're going to see what he'd do against them boys out there.
Let's see what he do against Lasseter, the Neil Hunter,
huh?
Will Anderson, Jr.
Stingley.
Yeah.
Yeah, they've been getting called.
Oh, okay.
So to ask you a question.
So what you think, what you think,
what you think a James is going to do?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Hey, I'll tell you, I mean, I'd rather take a happy James than JJ.
Okay.
Hey, I'm just saying.
What?
Yes, Joe, yes, Joe.
Man, you bug, you must have seen, you ain't seen little JJ today, did you?
You couldn't have seen it, bro.
What you mean?
I couldn't have to see it.
I'm saying, I'm saying, I mean, Joe, you couldn't win out there for 30 minutes and
play well, Joe.
It's about doing a game, at the game, at the game, consistency.
He couldn't do it for three years.
And all of a sudden you see one game, not he'd won.
What are we talking about?
about. Ocho, he's a young player who's had growing pains. I think we all can attest to that.
But he's been put in a new situation. He's been giving an opportunity, another opportunity,
Ocho. Like, him get a man a chance, bro. Hey, hey, hey, Joe, I gave him a chance, Joe.
Huh? The Viking gave him three years, Joe.
Man, you're steady talking about that old. That man was, hey, he learned from that.
What you mean, learn? Once you get the year three, if nothing has changed after year three,
you ain't going all of a sudden become this great player.
It's not happening, Joe.
Ocho, Ocho, sometimes it takes some guys a little longer than others, bro.
No, it don't, Joe.
It took me, it took me half a year.
Hell, it may take another guy four years.
That's what I'm saying.
Everybody ain't going to get it right away.
Well, Joe, it's the quarterback position.
We ain't got time to wait for that.
And year three is a year you supposed to make it a break a year.
At that point, if you ain't got to figure it out, you're not the one.
Well, listen, this opportunity presented itself for this young man, bro,
and I think he's warranted for a chance to start.
I really do, yes.
Okay.
Okay.
Now I'm pissed off.
Go ahead.
Go ahead, no, Joe.
You still go on.
No, no, no.
I'm good.
I'm good.
He's the starter.
He's the starter for the New York Apple Giants.
He's the starter.
He's the starter.
Let's see what happened.
It's a good thing.
Not only is he the starter.
He got a week under his belt, right?
he got a week on his belt to get familiar with the system,
the receivers, you know,
and then he got to deal with the Texans
come Saturday on the 25th,
and we'll see what happened.
Wait, hold on.
Oh, no, ain't no by week.
The 25th next Sunday.
Yeah, who they got?
The Texans.
I thought it was a bye week, my bad.
No.
I'm reading.
The day's 18th, seven days from day to the 25th.
Yeah, yeah, shoot.
Y'all got my blood.
blood pressure high.
I've got the day.
But Ocho, you know the man.
Ocho, he threw some horrible picks today, Ocho.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It happens.
It happens.
But that's all we're saying.
When we say James Winston keep two teams in the game,
his and the others,
that's what he did, Ocho.
Yeah.
Me personally, I don't believe they would have got back in this game
had they stuck with James.
I'm not saying,
I'm not saying that he's,
I'm not saying J.J. McCarthy is the answer.
But I believe John,
on Harbaugh is going to give him an opportunity.
It's going to come based on, based on his history.
What has history showed us about James?
He is turnover prone.
That has been his M.O.
He's still the last guy to have 30 interceptions in a season.
Hey, what is, what is, what is, uh, J.
Day's history showing us the exact injury.
The injury prone and turnover prone.
Same thing.
Injuries.
But, okay, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
cool. It's cool. I'm rocking with y'all. I'm rocking with y'all.

I mean, why you act like you don't know what James is going to get you,
though?
Like he played great last week.
And then look, this week he threw two picks.
This is who he is.
It really is, though, Cho.
Okay.
Okay, I got you, Joe. I got you.
Here's John Harbaugh explaining why Cam Scatabo did not have any...
Did you make the decision to bench Cam Scataboo as far as the running game goes?
We didn't bench Cam Scataboo.
As far as not giving him carries.
No, that was, it was not by design.
I mean, we had all those guys were taking equal reps, you know, in the first half.
We were trying to see who could, you know, who could make something happen, you know, who could kind of, kind of, you know,
get a hot hand and earn it. Nobody's nobody's really taking the bowl by the horns.
Motor really hadn't had a chance to take the bull by the horn, so we thought we'd get him in the mix too.
So we put four guys up and see if we can get something going with the running game.
That was the idea. They were all pretty equal, I think, in the first half.
Second half, we come out, and now we're down by a bunch. And we get into, you know, after the first series,
we're going to kind of a no-huddle-type deal, and that's where you start using your third down guys.
And that's just the way it went. So it wasn't by design for him not to carry the ball.
So when he was in there, we didn't call any runs.
So you're not thinking about which back is in the game and how many runs they're getting.
We're going to give them all an equal shot, give him a chance.
See you've got a hot hand maybe.
So you could get going with it.
And we weren't planning on being down by 24.
That's for sure, whatever we were down by.
But clearly his playing time was decreased.
He ended up having six snaps.
Yeah, that's why I said.
Because you're balancing between four guys.
Do the math.
How many plays were there?
And that was our plan.
Now you can argue that.
You can say, well, I don't like that.
I don't like you divvying up the snaps between four backs.
And I can tell you, I don't like it either.
One of those guys needs to step up.
Somebody needs to step up and be the back.
And none of those guys have done that yet.
And when one of those guys steps up to be the back, then they'll be the back.
I can't believe.
Hey, that was a whole lot of nothing.
Scadaboo claims he was being punished for fumbling the ball last week.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
It is, you know, I got punished for what I did.
and I understand.
So I got to be ready when coach called my name,
and that wasn't today.
So was the punishment for the game ending fumble last week?
Yeah, of course.
What was the message from John Harbaugh to you this week after that?
And did you expect not to have a carry at all that?
I didn't expect to have zero.
But, I mean, I was expecting to not play as much just like I did.
And the message was, you know, keep your head down and keep going.
You know, they understand the type of player I am.
I just got to continue to do my job and do it to the best my ability.
It's going to be a master of the obvious, but how difficult is that going to utilize the game in the second half is going to get in the way to kind of stand there and take this over?
Yeah, it's hard, but I've made mistakes and I've got to own up to them.
And if that is what they want to do, is keep me on the sidelines because of that, I totally understand.
I can't make mistakes at this level of this game.
And when you make mistakes like that, consequences are to be made.
Mm.
That's so, come.
Do you like Scatibou's explanation of what transpired,
or you believe in John Harbaugh's explanation of what transpired?
I think John Harborough full of, I think he full of, full of cuckoo, Ocho.
You mean tell me, that's just how it's going.
We didn't give him.
Come on, man.
What are we talking about here?
But I love Scatterboos response.
You know, as a professional, there will be moments that.
that will come, that will be, that will test you.
Yes.
And you'll be tested and it's how you respond, you know,
what will depend on, you know, how you get penalized behind it.
So I thought Scatterboo, you know, had a great answer.
But Harborough, come on, Harborough.
Come on, man.
You know, if you punish you the young man, cool, punish him.
He responded well behind it, but don't act like he just, oh, man, we, it wasn't, you know,
like they didn't do it deliberately.
Like, come on, man.
They kept their man out the game playing for a real.
We heard this before because what, Ocho, Joe,
remember they didn't get OBJ?
That's not how it was planned out.
It just kind of worked his way out like this.
Right.
It's funny.
The guy, hold on you mean to tell me,
you got somebody actually calling the plays
and he can't get Scatible or handoff?
He can't throw him a pass.
Hey, hold on,
not only do you have somebody calling the plays,
but you go through the plays
that you're running in the game
during the week.
Yes.
So if you didn't get any carries in the game,
then that means you didn't get any carries during the week.
So, I mean,
so I'm assuming he got carries
and it was surprising to him
that he didn't get any in the game.
And then, I mean, obviously,
when you ask a head coach,
a head coach is never going to get the right answer.
They're like politicians.
You ask them a question.
They're going to answer everything indirectly
except the question that's asked.
They do it all the time.
And I love the way he can.
I love the way Scott will answer the question, you know, very professional,
understanding that he can't make those mistakes.
You got to minimize your errors the best way you can, possibly can.
You want to be perfect.
But that's really not possible, you know.
You're going to make mistakes.
But also I hate when you, when you do a player like this, uncle,
and it forces them to not play freely, to just not be yourself, not worry about,
you know what I'm trying to say.
Okay, I don't want to, I don't want to fumble this ball.
So I'm like, I'm a, I'm a hold it with two hands.
I'm not going to run fast.
I'm not going to do some of the things I would naturally do when I'm just playing free.
But it is what it is.
Ocho?
Yes, sir.
You got your ass tore up when you did wrong when you were the kid, did you?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Guess what it did.
It made you not want to do wrong again, didn't it?
Hello.
Hello.
Hey, let me tell you, my brother.
My brother, I'm going to tear your ass up because of the jar your memory.
See, if I tell you, damn, I should have took the trash out.
Well, I'm supposed to have to cut the grass.
Yeah.
I supposed to have to swap the house.
You see what to tear your ass up do?
Hey, but hold on the beach the whole game.
You don't get no care.
Boy, I got to make sure I hold on to this football.
I don't want to do this no more.
Hey, it sounds good.
That's a great example.
It's a great analogy, right, though, um, but I got my ass toe up more than once.
You know why?
Mm-hmm.
Hey, it ain't like I got one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one,
you know, so I, I, I, I learned my lesson.
Hey, hey, you might get big, but it won't be for that.
Hey, I got, I got a, I got a few, Joe.
It went for the same thing.
I'll promise you that.
Yeah.
Right, right.
Look, I just think the thing else is that.
You know, when you fall behind, Ocho, you throw caution to the wind.
Yes, sir.
Hey, son, get in there.
They're putting something everybody to know damn well.
Special team got no head playing no receiver snap all week long.
Get in there, son.
Mm-hmm.
They're trying anything.
You were down 24 points in the four quarter, Ocho.
Hey, you ain't got, you got nothing to lose.
I ain't got nothing to damn lose.
Let's go.
Nobody expect, and you're right.
When you, when you can play free like that,
because guess what?
If I throw another interception, who cares?
We're already down 24.
Yeah.
We ain't got nothing to lose.
Now, when we come back in an obstruction environment
and the game is zero zero,
and we start from scratch,
that is a whole different type of environment.
Yes, sir.
I just, I just,
I just don't know if James can play well enough
to start every single game from here, I, Ocho.
Even if he does, even if JJ doesn't come in the next game,
which is Sunday, can he play, do you believe,
based on your level of play, playing 11 years,
studying the game, following the game,
do you believe Jemis can play the next,
the next 11 weeks and start every single game?
I believe so.
But, on, chat, chat, chat, stay.
Listen, chat, stay with me real quick, right?
We've seen James over the years,
even though he's turnover prone,
but we know he can put up numbers offensively.
We know what he can do.
He can give us some magic.
He can give us, you know, weeks of,
oh, my goodness, that was crazy.
And then he can give us weeks of,
oh, man, come on, James, what are you doing?
To me, as a New York,
as a football fan that enjoys watching the game of football
and understanding what I've seen from J.J. McCarthy.
And, hey, um,
what's it like playing in that New York media?
What's it like?
It's tough.
It's tough.
Oh, it's tough.
So listen, you think about the Office of Weapons, right?
I think about a team like the Minnesota Vikings.
Any quarterback in the world, all you have to do is be decent.
You got one of the best, if not the best, depending on who you ask, receivers in the league.
You know, and Justin Jefferson, huh?
You got Addison.
You got Hockinson.
You got Aaron Jones in the back field.
Like, there's really nowhere in hell it shouldn't work out as a quarterback on a team like that.
You saw what Sam Donald was able to do with him.
You saw what he was able to do.
So you were there for three years,
and there's really no pressure on you because you're in Minnesota.
You know, it's not a crazy market.
You know, the media is not going to really say anything.
But all of a sudden, now you're the answer.
You go to the biggest market of them all in New York under that pressure,
under those big lights,
and you couldn't get it done in Minnesota with that quarterback-friendly offense.
But all of a sudden, you're the answer.
answer in New York, even though you have Malik neighbors and likely.
Man, come on, man.
What we talking about?
Oh, Joe.
Oh, man.
You hold something against, you hold something against this young man.
I'm not holding.
And the man was young.
Oh, Joe.
He has to grow.
He has to grow from that situation in Minnesota, bro.
You think he's just going to be that same player throughout his whole duration,
his career duration.
Man, get a man a chance, bro.
I'll tell you what, we're going to give him a chance.
I'm going to give him a chance against the Houston, Texas.
Huh?
This.
It's Sunday and you'll understand.
You'll understand.
Like you been watching football for a bear a long time.
You know.
You know.
Oh, because he played well the day when he came in.
And.
Case Keenan, when Case Keeneham came in for the Chicago Bears,
how did he look, the first game?
How did he look?
He looked good.
How did he look the following game?
He came into the backup role.
I think, but also.
Also, Ocho, you got to look at Sam Darnel, how many years had he been in the league before he took this step, this leap?
Hello.
Sam Donald started with the New York Jets.
We can't use that as an example.
Come on now.
Yes.
It's not like if you think about it, Ocho.
It's not like the judge started on the best offense.
One of the best offenses there is with elite talent around him.
And you couldn't get it done.
I think the thing is, is that sometimes young players, they struggle, as Joe said, sometimes.
Sometimes it takes, some guys get it in the year.
Sometimes it takes two to three years.
But for me, if I'm looking at Jamis,
and James has been in the league 11, 12 years,
and he hasn't been able to nail down a job,
a starting job since he left Tampa,
the likelihood of him being a starting quarterback
at this juncture for the entirety of the season
is not very good, not saying that it can't happen.
I'm saying the likelihood of it happening.
You know, he's still,
There hadn't been a whole lot of guys that throw 30 interceptions in an NFL season.
He's the last one to do it.
Yes, we know he, he, hey, he, he, he, he, he, he, he's going to give his guys an opportunity.
But he's apt to put the ball in harm's way more times than not.
And it got him in trouble today.
And I don't believe John Harbaugh had any chance.
He didn't have anything to lose at this point in time.
He put the guy in there and the kid through for 243 yards in the fourth quarter.
I'm not saying he's going to throw for 400 yards.
300 yards. I'm just saying
I just don't believe that
James Winston over the next
11 game will be the starter
all of those games. That's just me.
All right. Oh Joe.
Hey, I'll tell you what.
How can you? Everybody, everybody
in the chat that think they know it all, right?
They know it all. They play this game before, you know,
and they think JJ's the answer and I'm
dumb and I'm an idiot. I don't know what I'm
talking about. Oh, he's a rookie. Oh, he's only
23. All these excuses.
all these excuses, which ownership doesn't care about,
ownership knew that he was a rookie,
ownership knew he was 23.
What did they do?
They let him go.
They got rid of him.
Why?
Because he's not good at his position.
He's not.
That's the only reason he let you go.
So I'm trying to figure, why does everybody make excuses for him?
So what's James excuse being on four teams?
How many?
Four.
He's not elite quarterback.
Elite quarterback don't move around like that.
That's all we say.
Hey, but he's still better, he's still better than what, what are we talking about?
But, but again, you know what?
Hey, uh, Joe, chat, I love y'all.
I'm not going to go back.
So you want to start.
So you want to bad to start so you go out there and so you could tell Joe it out, see, I told you.
No, no, no, no.
No, no.
Yeah, listen.
Hey, Joe, listen to me.
I'm just going to be honest, I'm watching the game of football for, for like 30-something years, right?
And once you see how a person is or once you see a quarterback, and that's who they are,
that's not going to change because you go to another.
change because you go to another team. So I didn't know what that's going to look like.
I'm not going to say, oh, I told you so. I'm just sitting here arguing the fact that based on
what we've seen year one, year two, year three, even going to another team and having to change
the scenery doesn't change the quarterback that you are. It just doesn't. So the systems,
so systems don't matter. You just left the better system with the better players with the better
elite talent surrounding you and went to another system in New York, which is more
pressure with one elite player as opposed to having three that you was with before.
Damn, so, hey, so when you mess up in one relationship, you take it to the next relationship,
you don't give them no fair, you don't give them no start over.
It's like you, you, you weren't nothing in that relationship.
How are you going to be saying to do one?
Who me?
I, me?
Yeah.
Me?
No.
You may get, hey, that man got to pay for mistake.
Unheal trauma, Joe.
Hold on.
Hold on. We talk about football.
Football and relationships, I'm able to compartmentalize the two.
Those are two completely different dynamics altogether.
Huh?
Two completely different dynamics.
What we're not going to do, we're going to stop comparing it too,
because they're really not that too much relatable.
They really are, Joe.
Yeah, yes.
Okay.
Okay.
How you going to make a man pay?
How are you going to make a man pay for something he did in his previous relationship?
Now he and his new relationship, you steady talking about something happening.
Man, come on, man.
We had the conversation.
Terrell Pryor.
The NFL punished him before he did something in college.
Ocho, you said that wasn't right.
You said that man should not have to pay a debt that he did not occur in the NFL.
Did you not say that?
Hey, let me tell you something.
I can finish this real quick.
Hey, chat.
I love y'all.
All y'all, I see y'all calling me names and calling me all the things.
I don't care.
What they call you?
I don't see them calling you no name.
Hey, I don't care what y'all call me because I'm here to do one thing.
I know my purpose on earth.
My purpose is here is to love y'all no matter what and give my honest opinion.
And one thing about me on this show, I'm always right 98 points in 98.
98% of the time.
I can't even get it out right, Joe.
I'm so pissed off right now.
I really want to snap, but I'm not.
I really want to snap, but I'm not.
not going to snap. So I'm going to be peaceful. And good luck to JJ McCarthy against them,
Texas. You can't snap. Oh, Joe, I'm just saying the man deserves an opportunity.
You know what I deserve? Joe, I still deserve to be playing football in the NFL right now, Joe.
That's what I deserve.
Man, you all right. Set your old ass down.
That man, he deserved to be played.
This man tried to be a down wide receiver.
You're 26.
And, hey, y'all, hey, y'all just crush my little dream, man.
Yeah, if you said, and you know what?
If you just said, hey, I deserve to be playing the NFL in 2012, 2013,
I'd agree with you.
No, no.
Hey, honestly, honestly, on based on, based on, listen, it's 32 teams,
but I'm, I'm better right now at 50 years old than every,
every three, four, and five on every team.
Right now.
You got it.
Hey, I am, Joe.
I am Joe.
I'm just being honest.
I, I, you know.
Buffalo Bills defeated the Oakland, Oakland.
The Las Vegas Raiders, 33 to 30.
The bills are now 4 and 0 with allowing 30 plus points allowed this season.
They're the first team in NFL history to win four games with at least allowing 30 plus points through their first six.
C.J. Gardner Johnson was ejected after spitting on.
on Raiders tight in Brock Bowers.
Here's CJ after the game.
Tell us from your side, what happened?
I got a bit better player.
I got to be a better vet.
I let my emotions get above me,
and I hurt my team.
They brought me here to play in big games like this.
So I got to do better.
They control my emotions.
Did you spit on him?
I got to just go with my emotions.
It was nothing to it's competitive.
It was just, like I said, here the moment.
Everybody saw what was going on.
It wasn't nothing that greas against nobody.
Like I said, we just competing in the game.
A call was made, a flag was made.
We went to chirping.
And I guess, you know, just being a competitor.
Like I said, nothing towards Brock and nothing towards the team.
Like I said, we're just chirping and going back and forth.
I got to be better.
I mean, keep pushing.
I don't even want to, I, y'all know how I feel about that.
Yeah.
You said before I'm a guy.
I believe that is one of the worst things you can do to another.
man anybody anybody to spit to to to spit if you understand the origins of that yeah
and I don't care the emotions of the game because we've all played at a very very high level
I it's gonna be hard it's gonna be harder for me to control myself you spit on me yeah
mm-hmm it's gonna be hard now Kyle eustache tweeted that CJ did this to him last year I don't
know if it's true but he tweeted it
Yeah.
CJ, you got to be better than this, man.
You got to be better than this.
Ain't no emotions and you know chirping.
I don't care nothing about no chirping.
Yeah.
He neither.
That ain't got that chirp.
Oh, no, bro.
No, no, no.
Keep your saliva to yourself.
You spit on the ground.
You're telling me I'm the ground.
That is one of the most disrespectful.
One of the most disrespectful and egregious acts.
You can perpetrate against somebody else.
I agree.
If you spit on somebody,
whatever that person does to you,
whatever I'm in agree.
There's nothing he can do that I say he was wrong.
He went too far.
I agree.
I'm with you.
You got to be able to control your emotions,
I don't know, hey, hey, at this level
and at this stage and age of your life and career,
come on, man, to be spitting on people, bro.
Yeah, I'm going to this.
That's almost ultimate, that is the ultimate disrespect.
It is, it is.
And you can't, and you, he can't, and I hate to even sit here and listen to him.
He keep blaming on his emotions.
Come on, man.
You know, we all are in there.
Right, you're right.
But you know, you see it all the time, man, you know.
But emotions are high, logic as low.
And obviously that is the highest form, the highest form of disrespect that you can do to any man,
not even, not even man.
If you're a woman as well, you know, you, you, you can't do.
that you got to be able to control yourself you know especially being a veteran and
having that presence and an impact that you that you have on the field you got to be there for your
team you got to be there for your team so listen i'm sure we're going to have to deal with a little
a little fine probably i'm assuming have to deal with uh yeah a disciplinary actions you know from
his from his team personally and listen you just grow from it and keep on going forward the bills are
They're on a really good run, you know, offensively.
And, um, yeah.
The defense will get them in trouble.
Yeah, yeah, a little bit.
That's, listen, Josh can't have to save him.
Josh is going to have to save him making plays at the right time,
especially late in games because the defense,
Kirk Cobain, he, he wasn't going away.
He wasn't going away this game.
He won't going away this game.
This is a really, really good game.
This Raiders team looks completely different.
They look completely different.
Oh, hey, if you don't put pressure on on first,
cousin, he going to carve you up now.
Hey, he's certain.
If you don't put pressure on him,
and they didn't sack him, Ocho.
If you don't put pressure on him,
yeah.
He going to do exactly what he did to Buffalo.
I don't think, I think Buffalo defense
leads a lot, leads a lot to be desired.
Yeah. And I think the problem that
you run into, Ocho, if you're,
this is what happens to Buffalo.
Right. The offense struggles just a little bit
in the postseason, and the defense can't carry him.
And that's how Josh gets bounced.
Yeah.
We normally knows that nobody has has scored more touchdowns in the NFL since Josh has been in the league.
But nobody's turning the ball over as much as he has either since he's in the league.
So it's a double edge short.
So he needs to do a better job.
And he did a great job today of protecting the football.
Yes.
Probably they turned the ball over today.
They probably lose this game.
Game.
Yeah.
And you know, you know, but I just, I bet I'm, I'm looking at this thing.
And I'm looking.
I'm like, this.
Yeah.
Oh, he's going to miss a game.
They're going to suspend it.
Oh, yeah.
How many you think he's going to get a game?
Just one?
Because that's what they gave.
That's what they gave chase last year.
But hold on, no.
I thought he didn't been in some trouble before.
He had, but I don't know if anybody saw it.
Now, this is what Kyle Eusecheck tweeted.
I don't know if it's true.
I don't know.
I didn't see out there, there's no video.
I mean, maybe somebody goes start trying to pull a video
to try to corroborate what he's saying.
But normally the general rule,
rule of thumb, uh, uh, because when Jalen, when Jalen Carter did it, he missed the entire game.
So they said, well, that was the punishment enough because you didn't get an opportunity to
play.
Right.
Chase did what he did during the course of the game on Ramsey.
He missed the following game.
I believe C.J.
Gardner Johnson will also be suspended for a game, but this is the ultimate, ultimate disrespect.
And knowing the history of how our ancestors were spit on.
And you, you, you, hey, hey, hey, hey, how.
How do you think you're gonna get away with it?
All these damn cameras out here,
how do you feel like you gonna get away
with something like that?
I just don't know, man.
I just, I just, I just, I just can't.
I just can't.
Oh, too, I've been, I've been really, really mad at somebody.
I have, I mean, we've all been really, really,
but to spit on somebody to just,
oh yeah.
Boy, I'd slap his face, man, it's clean off.
Ooh, they better than me.
They better than me.
You ain't my lady, that's the only one I'm sharing saliva,
with anybody else.
I'm gonna try, I'm gonna try my best.
Mm.
I, I don't get it, man.
CJ, you, you better than this.
You better than this, bro.
You keep getting opportunity off the opportunity
because you do, you play hard.
You make plays.
And it seemed like every time you do something positive,
you set it back with a negative.
You didn't even have to do this, bro.
You better than this.
I just, I, but Josh Allen was sensational 23 or 33, 255, two touchdowns.
Hey, we saw the play that he, we saw the play that he made getting out of harm's way,
shoveling it to a Coleman.
Cole Keon.
Oh, man.
Keon Coleman's playing really well.
Every opportunity to make a play, he's made to play.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, when Josh Allen flicked that ball, it seemed like he didn't even put that much on it,
but it, it's shot out of him.
man hey boy he know he can make something out of nothing Joe I mean um you know he can make
something out of nothing hey but but that's the problem though uh that the bill's gonna have
because they got an expensive habit and getting Josh Allen trying to get them out of all these
problems they got he only he could do a little bit of uncle Ocho but he just can't do every damn
hey Joe listen we pay you 300 million boy we need you to do exactly what we ask of you huh
you hear me anytime we might call the play in the
played on work, we expect you to be able to make something out of it.
We pay you extra, you'll be able to make something out of nothing, huh?
Man, please.
We're going to put the tweet up.
Cal Ustich said, this is the least surprising thing ever.
He at CJ Gardner Johnson basically said spit on me last year when we beat Chicago.
Can we put that?
He said, this is the least surprising thing ever.
He probably couldn't wait to share that info.
I just don't know.
Oh, Lord, have mercy.
I don't know,
I, it's just a different time now.
These young kids, they don't got no,
hey, I've been very fortunate.
I've been very, very fortunate that I've never had that happen to me.
And I pray God that I leave this earth without that having,
that happened to me.
Your response is going to be,
it's going to be a lot different.
I don't play, I don't even play with people like that.
I don't have got too old.
I play with the grandkids, that's it.
I ain't playing with no grown folk.
I ain't playing with no grown folk.
I ain't even, I ain't even really getting
into no argument nobody.
It ain't even worth it no more, Ocho.
Argued about what?
Yeah.
We be on here arguing at some time.
I'm talking about.
Oh, my bad.
I just, I just don't get it.
I don't.
And nobody, I don't care.
But he said this.
He said,
I don't care what somebody said
for you to do that, for you to spit on
another man or another
human being.
You wouldn't even spit on a dog.
Mm-hmm.

This is the first time the charges have been 0 in 6 since the start of the 2000.
of since 2000.
Jim Harbaugh, now it was the starting quarterback that season.
Justin Herbert was bad again.
He's only the sixth quarterback with an interception in each of the first six weeks of the
season since 2020.
Crazy status to see today.
J.J.
McCarthy had more passing yards in the fourth quarter than Justin Herbert has had any
game this season.
So are we saying,
Diddy McCarthy is better than Justin Herbert?
No, we said Justin Herbert is bad.
Justin Herbert has been awful this year.
He's been God awful.
He's been terrible.
And he's one of the reasons why they haven't won a game.
I think the thing is that we look at his size.
We look at the arm, but we need to look at the mistakes that he makes everything.
He threw an interception today.
I still don't know who the hell he was looking at.
Justin Herbert has been awful.
but he got prototypical size.
He has a big arm.
What good is all that when he doing what he does every single week?
Yeah, he'll make a throw like the one he did to Quentin Johnson.
Oh my God, did you see that throw?
57 yards on the road.
Yeah, I saw that 10 yard interception that he threw,
hit the guy right between the damn numbers, too.
Yeah.
And I've seen he's turned the ball over every single week also.
And I see him constantly putting the ball.
the ball in Harms way and he's one of the reasons,
if not the main reason that they're losing.
Yeah, you're gonna blame, uh, Jim Harbaugh says it starts with me
because I'm the head coach and y'all gonna put the blame on,
on Mike McDaniel because he's the new officer coordinator.
But all I know is to a led the league in passing in the same office.
He's awful, call it what it is.
He's played terrible this year.
Go ahead.
I, I'm gonna say the same thing on.
Um,
To me, I think they have the, no, I not think.
I know they have the talent around him to be able to be efficient.
I know it's a new offense.
But still, Mike McDaniel's system, if Tuva can have success in it.
Obviously, I think the supporting cast and the supporting role of the players that he has
a little bit different as opposed to what Mike McDaniel had at his disposal, as his disposal
in Miami is different.
But, again, we've seen the weapons that Justin Herbert has.
We've seen them have success.
and I don't know I'll watch the game and it's baffling
it's baffling for someone like Justin Herbert
who's played as long as he had as long as he has
to be making some of the mistakes that he's making
I don't know what it can be I don't know if he's
Is it the system is the system that he is?
I can't be a system, ain't nothing wrong with that Joe
You know at the end of the day
It's just about executing is X in the nose you know
It's about reading
Not throwing it to the other team.
I mean, it sounds simple.
It's kind of, it is hard not to do, you know, in the field of play,
but you've been playing long enough.
You're a veteran.
You're one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL.
So we're expecting you as a person who has the ball in their hands the most
to give us our best chance to win.
And now that we're 0 and 6, I know Harbaugh is going to take,
he going to take, you know, the brunt of him and say,
hey, it's all on me.
No, it's not.
It's not on you.
If people that watch football, we know what the issue is.
Just give us a chance.
In order for have a chance, in order to have a chance,
our quarterback has to play good football.
He doesn't have to be great, just play good football.
Because if you play good football,
it gives us a chance to have an opportunity to win.
We don't even have a chance right now.
No.
Six games in a row.
Six.
Jim Harbaugh, and if Mike McDaniel will continue to call plays.
We're going to look at everything,
The job I'm doing, it starts with me.
The plan is we'll watch this and get our offense
and get with our offensive coaches.
Offense needs to be addressed.
They were 11 and 5.
Now they're 0 and 6.
Where they're 11 and 6.
Some changes got to be made in it.
Where you can't get rid of the quarterback.
He's playing awful.
You can't get rid of him, Joe.
You stuck with him.
He's making too much.
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
What?
Joe, boy, you didn't see that boy deal, Joe.
What do you get?
Yeah, he got like, he got like 220 guaranteed.
Hey, Joe.
He's making 55 million a year.
Yeah, Joe, how you think he was able to get the beer Madison?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, you thought, you think it's his bag?
Is this bag how he got her?
You probably should have level where she was.
And, and focus on his football.
Joe, don't, don't piss me off, man.
What, what do you mean?
You don't think Justin Herb and MacDardown?
Joe, Joe, don't do that.
Hey, Joe, don't do that on.
Hey, it's Sunday, Joe, don't do that.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
So you try to tell me the man ain't got no game.
You're saying, come on, man, come on.
Joe, don't do that.
No, no, come on, man.
You know the game.
Don't do that.
Yeah.
What's it called him?
Trave MacDown Taylor.
because she got 35,000 times the money he got.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, hey, hey, a trail boy, hey, that boy hit a leak.
Hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey.
But, man, Justin Herbert is terrible.
Now, I don't know what, I don't know what they're going to say tomorrow on the talk shows,
but it needs to start with he's been playing terrible.
What if they made?
He's one of the main reasons, if not the main reason.
What if they make it, what did they make an excuse for them?
Because they don't make no excuse for, what they're doing.
They can't.
I know.
I don't know what they're going to do over there, but I'm telling about what we do here.
Oh, no, no, no, no, we're not making no excuse, but I'm just saying because they like them, because when they like certain quarterbacks, they always go to gold posts for them.
Yeah.
And they've done that, they've done.
Oh, you can't move to gold.
No.
You can't move to gold post for this.
Hey, I guarantee they do, though.
Nah.
Nah.
They can't, they can't, they can't, oh, Joe.
Yeah, it's bad.
It's bad.
Then hold on.
They're going to try to,
why's they try to blame McDaniel?
Of course.
Oh, man.
Come on, man.
Oh, somebody got to take the blame now.
I mean, the story.
How do you have a story if you don't got a villain?
Mm.
I like me in that villain, too.
I love that role.
Mm.
That's crazy.
Oh, better yet, huh?
How are you going to have a testimony without a test?
Ooh, hoo-hoo.
Hey, Joe.
Boy, Joe, hey, Joe, you went to,
church that they are.
Uh, how are you going to have a testimony without a test, right?
Right now he failed in the test, Joe.
So he got to tell him.
So he got to step up again next Sunday.
He got to step up again.
He got to have to get and pretty soon the people in the church will be like,
well, damn, you come here every Sunday.
Clearly the word ain't reaching you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Kenneth Walker the third has 665 rush yards this season.
The most in NFL history.
and a player's first five games with a team.
He has 369 yards rushing after contact.
Three of his top five regular season rush yards are after contact have come this season.
Running backs with 650 yards, six touchdowns over the team's first five games of the season since the merger.
Terrell Davis in 1998 and Kenneth Walker, TD won the MVP.
We won the Super Bowl.
Yeah, I was on that team.
I mean, I mean, TD did all right.
He went crazy.
Oh, Joe, we had, TD had two carries for 124 yards
against the Cowboys and two touchdown.
What?
Wait, hold on, two carries?
He broke out of 63 of 62 yard run.
They ain't want to tackling?
Hey, hey, hey, boy, you start a game off like that.
You just, you already know it for the big hell of a day.
We took him out, because we had a big old lead.
We took him out.
He only played out.
He only played to the third quarter.
And Joe, y'all were bad, though, Joe.
Hey, hey, we're talking about the Chiefs.
Oh, yeah, but Chief, the Chief,
and Chief, hey, listen,
Keneth Walker, Kenney Walker doing something really,
hey, hey, something that we haven't seen
since the merger in the first five games.
Yes, sir.
Real Davis did it in 1998,
and now, almost 30 years later,
Kenneth Walker the third is doing it again.
Hey, Kenneth Walker, he's serious.
Okay, okay, I know I've been random raving about him
since the Seahawks,
let him walk out the dough. But man, that man has a great opportunity.
Playing with this team, bro, he opens up a lot for this chief team.
Because offensively today, I thought the defense pretty much carried him.
And I thought K.9 had a great, a great game.
But outside of that, bro, you know, he's been the main consistent weekend and week out.
He's special. He's special.
He's special.
Right now, look, Kenneth Walker is putting his name.
It's been a long time that we've had a running back name
that's serious, serious in the MVP discussion.
Yeah.
Smack dab in it.
If you had to take a vet,
if you had to take probably right now,
people are going to say Josh.
Yeah.
People are going to say Josh Allen.
And he got a teammate,
Patrick Mahomes is also in it because right now,
Patrick Holmes has come back player the year.
Yeah.
Oh, he's definitely going to win that.
I don't know.
I don't know if he wanted,
if he necessarily, you know,
that's not a word that you award you really won't.
but hey, it is what it is.
I got injured.
I'm coming back playing at an unbelievable level.
He looks like the Patrick Mahomes
that we're used to see.
And he's doing it.
So I don't want to hear no injuries
because think about all the guys.
He's done.
No time going Thornton.
Rashid Rice is out.
He's throwing the guys,
Jalen Royals,
Andrew Armstrong.
I ain't never heard of these guys.
I'm like, who the hell are you?
Yeah.
I don't think people understand
how easy,
how easy K-9 has made
Andy Reid job, coaching job,
being enemy, wait, be enemy.
That's how you said, be enemy, right?
Be enemy.
Yeah, impact on home job.
The fact that he's running so well
and running crazy all over the place,
once you can establish the run,
everything else becomes easy.
You can pick and choose when you want to throw it.
Yep.
Oh, man, they got so much creativity.
Brock Purdy is also in that MVP discussion.
They're undefeated, playing out of unbelievable,
unbelievable level, they're five and oh.
They played tomorrow night.
They played the commanders on Friday night.
Let's go Friday night on Monday night.
But the Chiefs moved to five and oh,
their three and oh at home,
and the charges fall to 0 and six.
The Bears defeated the Falcons, 31-23.
The Bears tried the best to give this game away.
Falcons scored 16 points in the fourth quarter.
Caleb Williams made immediate difference
of the Bears' offense.
Guys, how dangerous is this bear?
team with Caleb Williams.
What you mean?
I told you how dangerous they were before the season started.
Uncle Joe, we'll be talking about.
Hey, chat.
I told you this was going to look like.
I know Caleb had a little, you know, he had a little hamstring injury.
He had to sit down for what, a game or two, maybe three, you know, or whatnot.
But then Caleb Williams comes back, no, he ain't, like he ain't miss a beat.
Huh?
Like he ain't miss a beat.
So this was expected.
When you have a player of his talent, when you have a player of his caliber,
you know, that when things don't go right,
he can make something out of nothing.
Yeah.
It doesn't matter what it is.
And then you got that mad genius of an offense of coordinator,
offense of play caller, and head coach and Ben Johnson,
what are we talking about?
My disguise is the limit for the Chicago Bears.
He turned the culture around,
everything about them.
And listen, I'm happy.
I'm not a Bears fan, but I'm a human.
fan of Ben Johnson because obviously, you know, I know him very well when I was in Miami.
He was in Miami at that time before I fucked up.
And obviously, I've been a huge fan of Caleb Williams.
I sat on the mountaintop screaming how good he is and how good he would be once Ben Johnson got
that job to go over to Chicago.
And listen, they've been beautiful as a coach and quarterback tandem.
So this is what you get.
This is probably how it's going to be for the foresee of your future.
It's pretty much it.
Is that a?
Yeah.
Zachara Branch.
Oh, the muff punt.
And the kick.
He might turn around and phone with the kickoff.
Yeah.
Damn.
This game, I think the thing is that the game got out of hand
and they weren't able to use Bejan Robinson.
He had, look, think about it,
nine carries for 61 yards.
So he's averaging damn there seven yards a catch.
But because we're behind so much on show,
we can't use it.
Yeah.
Because we got to throw the ball to try to get back into the ball.
game. Hey, for Caleb Williams to been off for them few weeks, Uncle Ocho and come back 30 for 36.
That's crazy, huh Joe?
Yeah.
He wouldn't a big, but he put in the video game numbers, man.
Yeah.
That's, hey, you really don't expect that from a guy who've missed a few weeks to come back with that type of, you know, chemistry that he had with his group, bro.
Like he looked, he looked amazing out there today.
I'm like, wow.
Boy, he didn't miss a beat, boy.
Yeah, that's like me, Joe, a little bit, though.
You feel me?
Hey
Nah, not really.
Damn.
Hey, Joe, you've been slightly
Hey, Joe, you've been slightly disrespectful to the night, boy.
Yeah, like, like.
I should have been.
I should have been disrespectful.
I wasn't as disrespect for us.
I should have been here.
Hey, Joe.
If you want me to be honest.
You sound like you're mad.
I'm a little pissed off.
Is it because the Cowboys lost?
Well, it don't matter what it's about.
You know, I'm a little pissed off.
You know,
Hold on, Joe, can I ask you a question?
Are you pissed off enough, like, to try to spit on me?
No, I wouldn't.
I would never do that.
Okay, I just want to make sure that I beat your ass.
I'll whoop your ass, though.
I ain't got to spit on you.
I'll whoop your ass.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So don't get me started because I need, I need to take this frustration out on somebody, boy.
I'm telling you, I really ain't the one, Ocho.
I'm serious now.
Hey, I could be in Atlanta tomorrow if you need me to.
All right.
Don't threat me with no good time now.
I'm just let you know.
Hey, yeah.
Hey, Joe, I tell you, Joe, they call me Hellaham.
Boy, I'm telling you, gonna feel like two people have been hit you, boy.
Yeah, okay.
And you think the Cowboys lost tonight.
Huh?
Two L, hey, two L's in two days.
That'd be bad, boy, that'd be real bad.
Boy, you come on the show lumped up tomorrow.
I ain't taking away of the day.
I'll tell you that now.
The only hell I took were from the damn cowboys,
outside I ain't taking no more else.
I'm not you know that now.
Ain't taking no more.
Yeah, that's what you said before they played too.
All right.
The cap, when you look at Atlanta,
they fell behind so quickly.
Now all of a sudden you can't use all your weapons
and your offense because now you got to throw,
throw, throw, throw.
You go through it out,
and get the ball, go right down
the field and score touchdown.
You go three and out, they go right back down
to field and score touchdown.
So we're not able to use Bejan in the running game
like we would like to,
had we able to keep the game close
and the defense
look
you got to do a better
you got to do a better job
of sometimes
it's okay to hold them to field goals
yeah
I know they took you
they put you in harm's way
they did
but sometimes you got to hold them to a field goal
here's Kevin Stefansky
on having to use the silent count
in his own building
I'm taking you guys practiced
with some crowd noise this week
in anticipation that you might deal with this
is that correct?
Yes. Were you on any sort of silent count?
We were.
Is that frustrating for you at home?
No, no. Listen, we love our fans.
Our fans are so supportive, but we just felt like we knew that we'd likely need to be on the silent count.
I've never had that before.
Ocho, maybe you've had that.
I've never had to deal with a silent count at home.
No, not at home, huh?
Not at home?
On the road, you expect that because you're in their building, so you know their fans.
But when you're at home and the opposing team fans take over your building, that's crazy, Joe.
Wait a minute.
Hey, hey, hold on the opposing fans.
That would make a noise.
The Bears fan forced them to use silent account in their own building.
God, that's crazy.
Okay, Ocho, I want to tell you out something.
That's pretty, you know, normal here in Atlanta.
I remember playing for the Hawks.
I remember playing for the Hawks when you play the Knicks, he played the Bulls, you play the Lakers.
the Miami Heat, them people travel.
They're going to buy tickets.
They're going to be in your damn arena.
That's how it was today for the Bears against the Falcon.
Man, they look like they look like they was in the Bears Stadium.
Yeah.
That's how it looked.
That's how it be around here in Atlanta.
I'm telling you, listen, as somebody who's experienced it,
when we should play against some of these top teams,
especially in the playoffs and the postseason.
Okay, Oto.
Sometime, bro, you don't even know hell you at the crib.
Damn.
That's how it is.
I mean, I watch a lot of people, Aaron Rogers in Tampa, he waving the time.
He getting it.
I'm like, bro, you on the road, what you mean?
Get it up.
Hey, hey, hey, them, hey, them Steelers.
Hey, them Steelers, them Steelers, cowboys.
Like crazy.
Steelers, cowboys.
Who else travel real well?
Packers.
Oh, the Eagles.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah.
But the Eagles, hey, Joe, the Eagles fans might be the best at it, boy.
I ain't never seen nothing like that, boy.
Yeah.
get them teams that they travel well,
they're,
they're drying you out your own damn building.
For real. Yeah.
But you never had,
you never had, I never had that happen, huh?
Playing at home.
No, no, not at home.
The opposing teams, you know,
take over your stadium where you got to go silent account
and you at home?
No, hell now.
Endeavour?
Oh, yeah.
Or at the Ravens, no.
Because, I mean, look, but when I got to the Ravens,
we had started to get good.
You know, we won, we won the Super Bowl
for my first year there.
Went to the playoff the next year.
Hell now.
Hey, matter of fact,
D.C., even when you played the Steelers.
They obviously are going to have their fans,
but they didn't take up.
We have no solid count we could hear.
Right.
I was with D. Stark's night before later.
He told me to tell you what's up.
Oh, were you?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
His son played for St. Thomas Aquinas.
Oh, does it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, okay.
No, but look, the bear, the bear's offensively.
with that offense, with that talent,
Luther Burton came to play today.
He finally got Colston Loveland involved in the game.
Rome had a quiet day, you know,
three catches, 39 yards.
But the thing is that he spreads the ball around.
He's so, and he can throw off any platform.
It doesn't matter.
He's rolling left.
He's rolling right.
He's jumping, throwing the ball.
He's just unbelievable to the fence.
And then he can get out of harm's way with his legs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know what he remind me of?
What it?
And I don't, I don't, I don't know.
I might, people might be like, oh, you don't know what you're talking about because of the different angles he can throw from, how he can extend plays.
He reminds me like Aaron Rogers a little bit.
Yeah.
He got the same, you got a gun, you got a gun just like that.
Maybe not that kind of velocity, but he's, he's a gunslinger.
He's a gunslinger and he can make plays.
He can spin it.
And you can spin that ball, boy.
But the Bears go into Atlanta and win 31, 20, 23.
Caleb Williams was 30 of 26, 305, one touchdowns, no interceptions.
Michael Pennix, Jr. was 19 to 33.
225, three touchdowns.
Scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, but it was a little bit too late.
The Panthers defeated the Eagles, 25 to 14.
Bryce Young is the first quarterback with these 280 pass yards and a touchdown in each of his team's first five games of the season since Peyton Manning and Drew Breeze both did it.
Peyton won in 2013.
Peyton was the MVP.
Other notable quarterback quarterback quarterback that did it.
Steve Young in 1998.
Kurt Warner in 2000.
Peyton Manning in 2009.
Aaron Rogers in 2011.
Peyton and Drew in 2013.
and now Bryce Young has done it again.
He leads the NFL with 309 passing yards per game
while the Panthers have scored 146 points
through five games the most in their franchise history.
We forgot about him, guys.
We've got to throw him into the discussion for MVP
because he's playing just that way.
Who?
Bryce Young, what you mean?
Who?
Bryce Young, yeah.
Matter of fact, for MVP?
Yeah, hey, that's quite.
Yeah, quiet boy. What you're talking about?
Huh? Keep pounding.
What's their record? Three and two.
Three and two, Joe. They just came off the buy.
Yeah, Joe. Hey, them boys playing.
You hear me? I put everybody on notice last year.
They made the playoffs. Boom. Things didn't go well.
You're on the playoffs. Boom. Coming back this season.
I told me they're going to pick up right where they left off last year.
What they're doing? Bryce Young putting on a stellar performance, putting on the
mean demonstration,
week in and week out.
Hey,
hey,
Trubbard,
I see you,
boy.
Running hard.
I see you.
28 carries a buck,
20 on the touchdown.
What?
Jalen Koka.
Teterrault McMillan.
Huh?
Hey, Tommy Trembal.
I see you making your presence felt out there,
boy.
I see you.
John Metchy.
David Moore.
I see y'all boys
getting involved in the offense.
Y'all are part of the reason
and why the Panthers are not just winning.
But Bryce Young
should win the MVP this year.
Because he's going to keep this up.
We only in week five, week six, Joe.
We're going to keep this up.
But we're going to keep pounding every week.
Keep stacking them.
Every week.
And the Panthers, the Panthers play the Cowboys?
Huh?
Are they on the schedule?
They better hope not because they did a number on the last year.
Yeah.
Hey, right.
Hey, hey, hold on.
Oh, hold on.
Bryce going to throw for 600 on y'all, right?
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hey, listen, I'm going to credit the Panthers for this road.
No, you're going to credit Bryce Young.
That's what you credit.
Keep pounding.
But I'm not, but I'm not.
I am not overlooking these mistakes.
Okay, Ocho, they accumulate 149 yards.
Impendipalty yards.
You know what I'm saying?
Bryce Young only.
Bryce Young only completed 20 of the 39 passes here lead through.
You know, now they showed toughness,
but that level,
Efficiency, bro. Come on, man, against a stronger opponent.
Y'all know what's going to happen.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
The Eagles depleted.
Hey, Joe, don't be trying to take nothing away from us.
Talk about he only completed 20.
The Eagles deplete.
So?
What are you talking about, Joe?
It was, like they were depleted.
Yeah.
Talk about it, man.
We put up 25.
Come on, man.
Y'all know them number, them are going to get you beat.
Hey, hey, hey, and I'm going to get you beat.
The same thing.
Oh, Joe.
Now, I don't want to hear nothing next week.
If the Cowboys beat the Eagles,
I would say, oh, they were depleted.
Yeah, they were depleted.
Yeah, they were depleted, Joe.
We're going to use the same excuse when y'all, when y'all playing.
Oh, listen, listen, listen, they are depleted.
But, hell, we want to beat the hell out of them.
We need to win.
Oh, you want to be the depleted.
We need a confidence booster.
Oh, you want to, hey.
Yeah, yes, yes, yes.
A matter of fact, hey, uh, yeah.
You know the way the football guys work, even though the Eagles,
even though the Eagles are depleted, there's a good chance to hear the McKee and them boys might beat the Cowboys.
What?
Well, I don't want to say beat.
Yeah, I think, I think the fact that this is a divisional game,
it will be a tough game, okay?
It ain't going to be no cakewalk, but I don't know what you're talking.
Come on now.
Come on now.
Hey, Joe, be careful.
Be careful, be mindful, huh?
You know, the tongue is powerful.
You did all that talking about, you know, you're all playing the Packers.
You saw what happened tonight.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Huh?
You're going to be looking like Martin when he fought all Hagler in the show.
That was her.
Nah, you got me bent, huh?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was Tommy Hurons.
It wasn't Haggley.
Hurons, Haggley, you get the point.
You're gonna be lumped up.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
I want to hit that next week.
I was saying, hey, man, they beat the depleted team.
They ain't did nothing.
We can't.
We're gonna be doing something next week.
We're gonna be, you know what,
you're gonna be at?
That might be, hey, that might be Joe Milton's.
Joe Milton coming our party, Ocho.
You know, everybody that played, remember Rico Dadell
had like 200 yards on them last year.
Oh, Lord.
If Joe Mills started against us, I ain't gonna lie.
Joe Mel started against him, he probably would.
Hey.
Hey, they should do that on purpose, don't.
We started.
Damn.
Yeah, just start Joe Bill and Jesser.
Oh, see, y'all let me go.
Well, you know, I'm definitely going to put BTA.
BTA.
BTA.
That's wild, though.
And that's crazy.
Boy, feeling limited, man.
They really limited.
I mean, look, they can't run the football.
They really got one receive.
All right.
Look, Devante was just giving it all he had.
But that arrives up.
I mean, look, they ain't got no,
a Philly second.
I mean, what you call him, secondary?
Devonte should have over 100.
Gardner should have, like, close to 100.
I see that.
Yep, I see that.
Beat y'all, beat y'all down, Joe.
Dang.
Oh, you're talking about against us.
Yeah, for sure.
They're supposed to have the numbers against us.
Come on, y'all.
Come on, man, you got it.
Come on, come on, relax.
Relax.
But Peyton won the MVP.
Aaron Rogers won the MVP.
I think Peyton won it in 2009.
If I'm not mistaken, I think Kurt Warner won the MVP.
No, I think Marshall did.
Kurt was 99.
I think Marshall and then Kurt wanted again.
Look that up, Ash.
Didn't Marshall Falk win the MVP in 2000?
But I know I think Peyton won it in 2009.
Aaron won it in 2011 and then Peyton won it again in 2013.
Bryce, huh?
I mean, say that so Joe can hear you.
Joe didn't hear you.
Oh, man.
Come on, man.
Relax.
The Eagles last four games, lost by 11 to Carolina,
lost on a 57-yard walk-up field goal.
Lost by 10th, lost a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter,
lost the 20 by Case Keenum.
The first four-game losing streak under head coach Nick Sariani.
Does it get better?
I mean, is help on the way, Ocho, Joe, what's going on with the Eagles?
Help, who?
Listen, my grandma, hey, hey, Joe, my grandma told me prayer changes things.
These are one of those situations where prayer is not going to help the Eagles.
Prayer wouldn't fix that.
You don't think Joe?
No, Joe.
You don't think Joe Mill will help them, oh, Joe?
Joe, they don't have enough pieces.
You're quick to talk about somebody praying.
You acting like the other team don't pray.
Who?
You tell my prayer, change your thing.
Everybody pray.
You ever, hey, before every time y'all go out and every time after the game, what y'all do,
Ocho, tell the chat at home.
Hold on, pray.
But you got to understand.
When talking football, right, you talk about prayer and hoping things can change.
Yeah.
We also, before we pray, we also have to be realistic and understanding of our situations.
And knowing that if what we're praying for is not aligned with our actions,
that you're not going to get it.
It's not going to happen.
You've got to be realistic with yourself also.
So it's one thing to pray, but be realistic in prayer
before wasting, and before you know, before you're wasting that prayer.
Well, you know, the Eagles don't have enough.
It's too many people hurt.
Well, you can't have God.
The line is banged up.
The quarterback, you know, your quarterback is hurt.
I mean, you're running back, both running backs are down.
You're one and your two.
I mean, it's so much.
Siriani, what can Siriani?
do.
But if you can't ask the God to give you a victory,
you're asking him to be a selfish God if you
ask for a victory, Ocho. Yeah, you're right by
that, you're right by that. But listen, you can
ask for a victory if you know you're putting in the work.
So what other team's supposed to say, hey, yeah.
So in other words, you asking God to be selfish because you say, hey, God,
give me this victory, because I know you like me more
than you like the other team. The guys on the other team.
No, I wouldn't say that. I wouldn't
say that, but as long as you walk it, you know,
if you're walking by faith.
What about the other guys? You think they ain't
no guys over there walking by faith?
I mean, some of them might be backslide, no.
You could only hope.
Yeah, I get on 53-man roster,
you can probably got a lot of those on every roster.
That hell.
Hey.
Hey, but, hey, for the Eagles, it's tough, though.
It's tough.
All jokes aside, it's really tough,
especially with the unfortunate injuries
that they've had to deal with,
they are completely depleted, you know,
with the team.
So if Joe Milton, you know, can,
can bring them some type of a spark,
if things don't go well with Tannen McKee,
I mean, so be it.
Yeah.
Lisa, tell them about our new show.

which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions,
and at this point in my 50s,
I've lived it all.
Now in my 30s,
being the founder of new shoes,
good taste is my business.
