Seahawks Super Bowl champion Byron Murphy was walking around with the Lombardi trophy at his wedding this weekend. Let's take a look at the video, y'all. Hey, that's dope, huh?
Starting point is 00:03:04 I think they start to treat the Lombardi trophy like they do the Stanley Cup where everybody get an opportunity to keep it for a date. Right. I like that. Is that, was that, was that the actual trophy or? Yeah, I had a trophy. Okay, hey, that's live. Yeah, so, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:23 ain't nothing left for me to do. Hey, I have a question. Ain't nothing left for me to do, but don't, hey, talk to do that thing on choke. Hold on, see, that's what I, that's what I understand. So those are replicas like you have, right? No, you, uh, look, uh, John, got the OG, Most people get the little minis.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Right. But me. What those run on? I don't know. This was gifted to me. You know what? I'm going to get me one of the made two in gold. I'm going to get one of,
Starting point is 00:04:04 I'm going to get one of the made and gold, man. Yeah. I'm, yeah. What made and gold in the Lombardi is silver. The same way I got my bus and gold. And the bus is bronze. Broads. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Yeah. So I want everything to be going. The one that they keep give you is made out of wood. The one that they put in the hall. It is the one that's in the hall is the bronze wood. The one that give you is the wood. But I'm going to donate mine to Savannah State. For real?
Starting point is 00:04:31 Yeah. And my jacket. Okay. Because I ain't got but one jacket. What I'm going to do? Get one jacket to the kid. Get one jacket to the kid. Give a Hall of Fame ring to a kid.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Nah. That's going to go to Savannah State. I'm going to get a ring, the jacket, and the bus to Savannah. state the kids get enough stuff trust me they get enough they'll be okay yeah they'll be okay oh jo yeah so that's what i'll do i'll have my super bowl trophy at my wedding who are all coming hey we we we get we you get married next year on yep we gonna do the due wedding or no we can do you know you know we get a discount yeah but you know right now ohcho i i've come to the realization
Starting point is 00:05:20 done being with somebody that I have fun with. Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. This is the very, this is the very pivotal moment. Yeah. Like, I like where you're going. Now, wait, wait, let me, let me get comfortable.
Starting point is 00:05:35 And I talk to me. I found somebody that I can, I can suffer with. I can endure with. Because you can have fun with anybody. Right. Come on, man. You can have fun with anybody. Take your, take your tab.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Say you're going to the Mawfi coach, coach. Uh-huh. Say you go into Tahiti. Say you're going to Santerini, Amikanos. Bali You'll have fun
Starting point is 00:05:53 Right When you come to suffering When it comes to enduring Come on now Who you want to do that with Who would do that with you I got a question though I got a question
Starting point is 00:06:11 Now when you say you found Someone you can suffer with You got somebody you can have fun with You know what that's like Yeah yeah You know what it's like when the sun is shining but when it's cloudy and a storm and it's raining yeah they got the umbrella for you yes how you even got to that point to realize that because most of the time when it's storming and thunder when it's
Starting point is 00:06:37 thunder and lightning yeah most of the time everything goes this way because when you laying there and she's saying baby I'm counting your breath breathe nobody else has ever done that Come on, man. This ain't, this ain't, this ain't, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, Uncleocho, last ride. Right, right, right. Hey, yeah, I, I like that. Listen, I'm, I'm, I'm happy.
Starting point is 00:07:12 A kid to Jesse James. We going out one land's ride. Bam, bam, bam, bam, bab, bab, bab, bam, bab, bam. Hey, I, I, I, I, I, never heard that one before. I never heard that before. I like that. Like, most of the time, you know, my grandma always say, find someone, find someone that's willing to unpack it back.
Starting point is 00:07:29 because we all got it. We all come with it. Yeah. We all do. The hard part is finding someone's baggage to unpack. And most of the time, once you unpack it, when things go rough, ah, ah, you know, you pack day sitting, and you try, you try on, you keep moving on and thinking something else is better.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Yep. That's always been my thing, Ocho. You already thought something else was better? That's what made us who we are. Yeah. Even though when I made the Pro Bowl, I thought I could be better. Even when I made all pro, I thought I could be better. all pro, I thought I could be better.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Come on. I had a thousand yard season, I thought could be better. A double-digit touchdown season, I could be better. It was always when you're satisfied as a person you threw as an individual. So I was always trying to see to get better, to get better, to get better.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Nah. You're done. You're waving a white flag. I can be, yeah. Yeah. I can still search for greatness and be content. I like that. So you got to search for that greatness in other areas. Other aspects of your life.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah, for sure. Hey, that's a good thing. I'm glad you got that piece of the puzzle filled in, man. I like that. Yeah, yeah. Hey, I like that. And, you know, she don't know what the old she would like. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:46 You know what I'm saying? Okay. You don't know. The old shay used to go double overtime. Now she didn't get the first quarter. She didn't get the first quarter on show. Hey, I get the first. Hock up.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I got I put up me a quick tin Yeah You're done She ain't know I used to have I get a 40 point
Starting point is 00:09:06 Triple Dub Ooh Yeah Hey I got one more Question on What's there One more question
Starting point is 00:09:13 Not This is This is for me This is my therapy session Because I like When we get on topics Like this
Starting point is 00:09:18 Right Yes Is there ever a timetable To decide When you know That's the one Yeah I think it is, though, Joe.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Six months, a year, two years. I don't know if there's a time. I mean, I think you have a feeling, and you're like, okay, when things go, you got to go bad. Because when it's going good, when everything is good, and you're flying everywhere, and you buying everything, and by the time you buy this purse and that purse, yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:09:49 You give this and you give that. Yes, sir. Okay, when it goes bad. Mm. Come on, man. It's bad. And I ain't been, hey, I ain't been to beat you down now. but we're going to have a conversation.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Just so you know, we're going to have a conversation. We're going to talk. Yeah. Okay. Hey, I didn't, hey, I get, I get, I get frustrated right? I'm at that point now when, when things are great. Oh, when it's great is great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:22 And I avoid those conversations. I avoid those tough conversations because I, I, what's the word I'm looking for? I love, I love my peace. I'm not one that, I'm, I'm not one that really likes chaos. now at my big age. So therefore, when, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, I kind of, I kind of go into a shell. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:43 And it's, it's so funny. When I'm happy, I'm, I'm, I'm a talker. Actually, I talk too goddamn much. And when I shouldn't be talking, I shut down instead of having those tough conversations that I should have. Yeah, I don't like I got a tough conversations either, oh, Joe. I don't. I got to, I got to, I got to, I got to, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't
Starting point is 00:11:05 want to hurt anybody's feeling and it's just easy I don't want to talk about it you're right hmm um it ain't easy though oh cho yeah damn show not easy yeah but we boy you tell him what what you tell you it's a lot of work it's a lot of work uh and sometimes i think to myself sometimes i think to myself if things are supposed to be this way why does so much work why does so much work is it natural it is supposed to be this way i mean i mean i mean it's so it's So there's so many unanswered questions, you know, and I don't know. I just sometimes, Ocho, you can work like, and the reason why I equate a lot to sports is because I was good at it and I worked at it. And it's like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:11:54 If I work at this, I can change this and I can be good at it. Mm. You can work for years and your relationship might not even get any better. Because the question is, is you working as hard as you are? That's a good one. Are you working for the same goal? Because sometimes we get into an argument, Ocho, me and you argue. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:18 So no, no, no, no. It ain't me and you. It's me and you versus the problem. There's a difference. We argue amongst each other. We go back and forth. But the problem's still there. How about you and I double team this problem?
Starting point is 00:12:34 Right. What caused this? Mm. And most of the time the problem is, It's me. Yes. A lot of times, a lot of times the problem is us. A lot of times is the situation where I'm gonna get,
Starting point is 00:12:55 just tell me if you want something, if you want to do something, I don't like to have to figure it out, figure it out. You know. Right, right, right, right. What you wanna do. Right. Just tell me because uncommunicated expectations will ruin a relationship. Because you have an expectation.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Mm-hmm. And you don't communicate what those expectations are. You assume I'm supposed to know. I have expectations. I assume you're supposed to know because you're at an age. You've dated before. Yeah. You have been in relationships before.
Starting point is 00:13:25 You've been in long-term relationships before. Why do I need to walk you step by step? You wasn't a long-term relationship. You just wasn't in it with me. So I need to tell you what I expect from you. You need to tell me what you expect from me. So if we communicate these expectations, we're on the path to going somewhere.
Starting point is 00:13:45 But when you don't have, when you have uncommunicated, when you don't tell me what you expect. I don't tell you what to expect. And then I'm swole because you didn't do what I expected you to do. And that's one of the worst things with marriages, with relationships, with friendships, with friendships is that one word. That one word, because we expect certain things. Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:08 You have a title. Once a title comes to anything, with the title comes expectations. Most of the time when it comes to humans, we always fall. short. Yes. Human error is inevitable, no matter what aspect of life you're in with those expectations. Then it becomes you trying to become somewhat of a character to meet the role that they won't.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Yeah. And that's hard because you're not even being yourself. Nope. You have to change who you are to meet someone else's expectations. How do you change? Because here's that you got to be careful. Because changing who you are, you lose who you are. But that's what expectations are.
Starting point is 00:14:44 No, no. Because you can't be your true. It's impossible to be your true self if you're supposed to meet someone else's expectations. That's not even originally you. You have to be the version of the way they view you. You have to be. There's perception and there's reality. A person's perception of you is their reality.
Starting point is 00:15:09 A person's perception of you, that's their reality. But that's not always the truth. So now how she perceives you, that is her reality. That could be the farthest thing from who you actually are. And which is, which is normally the case, 98% of the time. Women fall in love with the idea that they have in their head of you, not who you truly are. Of who they think a man should be, what he should do. You should open the door.
Starting point is 00:15:37 You should buy candles. You should buy cars. You should be thoughtful. You should write poetry. That is the perception of what they think. that ain't who I when did I ever give you that give you that impression
Starting point is 00:15:48 that was who I was this ain't no harlequin novel this ain't no hallmark movie yeah this ain't no the notebook hell no but I like it though damn the notebook this ain't in the tablet but you know what I do like
Starting point is 00:16:03 I love becoming a better version of myself for the individual that you see in whatever way they do yes how do I become that version of me or the version of in which you view me as. How do I become the best version for you without losing me? Me.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Because most of the time, one of the hardest things to do, the two hardest things to do, chat, you've heard me say it before, two of the hardest things to do is to hit a baseball. Yeah. And to keep a woman happy long term. Because in turn and trying to keep a woman happy long term, you have to lose a sense of self.
Starting point is 00:16:44 You do. But men are willing to do that. How many times the man said, well, you know, this is what she wanted. She don't want me to go out with my Ocho. Ocho, I got to cut back. She don't want me to drink. I got to cut back. She don't want me over the time of my in-laws?
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yes, sir. What do women say? I would like this when you met me. You ain't have a problem with it. You see, men are willing to change. For the woman that a man loves, he will change. That Joe will cut off his family. He'll cut off his friends.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Yes. He'll do whatever to make. To make her happy, it goes back to biblical. Yeah. Samson told Delilah where it strip lied for a reason. Adam, you know, Adam did what he did for a reason. David did what he did to be she was hooked for a reason. Just saying.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I'm Luke Wilson. Join me each week for Film Never Lies. Since retiring from the NFL, I've had a lot of my mind, and now got my own show. If you're tired of lazy takes, if you want honest conversations, join us each week. Film Never Lies, available on all TSN platforms in the IHeartRadio app. Why hasn't a woman formally participated in a Formula One race weekend in over a decade? Think about how many skills they have to develop at such a young age? What can we learn from all of the new F1 romance novels suddenly popping up every year?
Starting point is 00:18:12 He still smelled of podium champagne and expensive friction. And how did a 2023 event called Wagageddon change the paddock forever? That day is just seared into my memory. I'm culture writer and F1 expert Lily Herman, and these are just a few of the questions I'm tackling on No Grip, a Formula One Culture podcast that dives into the under-explored pockets of the sport. In each episode, a different guest and I will go deeper into the wacky mishap, scandals and sagas, both on the track and far away from it
Starting point is 00:18:43 that have made F1 a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years. Listen to No Grip on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Starting point is 00:19:30 And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave? And then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. They'll be like, Mommy, why did you miss that?
Starting point is 00:20:16 Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized game with Stuy and Miles on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Wilmer Valderrama. And this is Freddie Rodriguez. Welcome back to Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos Season 2, baby.
Starting point is 00:20:34 This time, we're going even deeper into our careers, our lives, our art, and everything in between. Each episode emanates from our very own speakeasy, where we swap stories about the moments that really shaped us on and off camera. What do we invest in right now?
Starting point is 00:20:50 What is the immediate advice? you give people right now. It's to value time to be cognizant of time and how important time is because once the time is up, it's up, and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that push us to grow. And the common denominator is that we have the same people
Starting point is 00:21:08 with us since like 30, 40 years ago, right? Like, we have a lot of the same homies that stuck around. Plus, the door always stays open for a third Amigo to pull up a chair. Listen to Dos Amigos as part of the Michael Duda Podcast Network. available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, that was a good therapy session.
Starting point is 00:21:30 I like that. Yeah, you know, we do. That was a good therapy session. Yeah, you know. For the second time in a week, the 49 is added better receiver to the room, agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with Christian Kirk. Kirk spent the 2025 season with the Texas after a three-year stint with the Jags
Starting point is 00:21:46 after his first four seasons with the Cardinals. The deal is up to $6 million. Kurt's addition is the latest to a receiver room that is undergoing significant renovation. They signed Mike Evans to a three-year, $42.5 million deal in the opening hours of free agency. Ocho, do you like this move? Hell yeah, because they add speed. It adds a lot of speed. Brother Kirk can run.
Starting point is 00:22:13 He got wheels. You got Mike Evans. You got Brother Kirk, Rika Purcell. If I'm not mistaken, Joanne Jennings is a free. agent now right he's a free agent he's he had signed yeah um we don't know if he's coming back right I know they love him because he he does it all
Starting point is 00:22:33 he did a menace in the run game he made tough contested catches he's real good after the he's real good after the catch we know brand and I you got Brandon I yukes not coming back yeah yeah currently he's still on the team but he's not coming back listen that being said Ocho I just uh I like it I mean you you know you you got they got to get better And they got to keep the guys on the field.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Keep them healthy. Yeah. Keep them healthy. But they got a good squad, man. They got a good squad. Mike Evans, Chris Kirk, Ricky Purcell, you still got CMAQ, Shannon Hans. I mean, listen, he's a genius, especially when it comes to the offensive play call
Starting point is 00:23:10 and what he's able to do and being able to use players at their strengths, put them in the right positions to make plays, having Christian McCaffrey make make Brock Purdy job that much easier. Hand it off. Hand it off. Hell, line McAfree up in the slot. He can go out. He can do so many things offensively.
Starting point is 00:23:26 That's how I know Mike Evans is going to have one of his best years in that offense. So I'm excited for them. I'm excited for brother, brother Kirk. So they're going to be all right. He went to, he went to a good place. They're going to let that ball go now.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Absolutely. Also, the NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meeting, March 24th through the 25th to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle with the two franchises. targeted for 28, 29 seasons. The momentum for stakeholders to approve the survey what industry executive project
Starting point is 00:24:01 will be bids between $7 and $10 billion range each team. Mm-hmm. Excuse me. If the NBA expansion is approved, the Oklahoma City Thunder will seed all Seattle era history back to the supersonic. The NBA current draft rules, Expansion teams will get to steal unprotected players from teams.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Teams can protect up to eight players. Team cannot protect players on expiring contracts or restricted free agents. Only one player taken per team. Contract transfers are as they are. Contracts transfer as they are. Expansion teams get good NBA draft chances at the number one pick. Hey. I remember the Super Sonic.
Starting point is 00:24:57 The Super Sonic used to be good. What's the chances of the vote being passed and them have an NBA team in Vegas? What do you think the chances? 100%. Did you see, you do realize like this $7 to $10 billion, that goes into other owners' pockets. Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:19 That's how it works. Yeah, expansion, yeah. The team relocates that money. goes to the owner's pockets. So yeah, there's a great, there's a great chance. Not 100%. 99.999999-9-9-9-2-3.
Starting point is 00:25:41 The Seattle's used to be good. Seattle, the Seattle Supersonics, yeah. When they had Dennis Johnson, they had Gus Williams, and Marvin Webster, Wally Walker, they were great. They were really, really good. Back in the late 70s and the early 80s,
Starting point is 00:25:57 you know, but GP, that was good in the 90s. But I'm talking about really, Lenny Wilkins were the head coach. They were really, really, really good. Really good. What an NBA championship. That'll be great. And team right here in Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:26:14 They got hockey. They got basketball. We got a football team. They're about to have a baseball team. They got a WNBA team. They're coming. And seven to ten billion dollars. Hey, Las Vegas, that's going to be nice, man.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Just trying to think. obviously already NFL team there WNBA team there NBA team coming it's up and coming it's nice and that's why the super that's why
Starting point is 00:26:43 Seattle Seattle might go for 10 billion the Seahawks they'll probably go somewhere between 8 to 10 billion the Cowboys the Cowboys probably worth 20 billion damn yeah for sure
Starting point is 00:26:56 yeah absolutely that's crazy but they've been you look They've kind of been like this looking at little Vegas and Vegas. They have influx. It's growing. They got, you know, like I said, they got the majors, all the major sports.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Baseball is coming here in a couple of years. They're going to get the A's franchise that's going to relocate to Vegas. So you're going to have all the major sports. You got hockey. You got baseball. You got baseball. You got football. You got basketball.
Starting point is 00:27:30 You got WNBA. You got all this entertainment. You got big conventions. That's why they're going to get another Super Bowl. Hmm. That's why. Hotel rooms is never an issue. Everything is,
Starting point is 00:27:44 everything is, it's, it's close proximity. L.A. going to be hell. L.A. going to be a, whew. Because you know how spread out L.A. Yeah. Huge.
Starting point is 00:27:53 It's already going to take, it's already going to take you 50 hours to get somewhere. Hey, if you have to deal with that four. 10 o'clock, yeah, even six o'clock in the morning. Hey, you got to deal with that four or five. Good luck.
Starting point is 00:28:05 You got to tell B. And, but I'd be a little Seahawks, the Seahawks, because they're, they're, there, uh, it was written in his real, Alan, Paul Allen, that after X amount of time, his sister with the executive estate, would sell the Seahawks. And the money would be given the, donated to charity. Damn. That what he wanted. And, uh, and she's selling the, uh, he owned the Seahawks.
Starting point is 00:28:42 He owned the Blazers. I think they're in the process, the blazers are in the process of being sold for about $4 billion. Seahawks going to go probably around somewhere $8 to $10 billion. Woo. Yep. That's why people are like, oh, get 10%. Bro, do you know what 10% of these, that's $800.
Starting point is 00:29:02 That's a billion dollars. That's why it's, I mean, you might get a 1%. Right. Or 0.5%, but ain't a whole lot. So there's a whole lot of players got that kind of money. A billion dollars is 10%. A billion. We got to play the lottery.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I got to go some play. I got in here. What you're talking about ex-man, Xavier McDaniel. Columbia, South Carolina. We're going to win the lottery. We go back, we'll buy 2%. Hey, man, that lottery fixed, man. Well, hey.
Starting point is 00:29:47 That lottery fixed. I mean, listen, but, but. certain individuals, they've won it twice in a row. I'm not going to get into all that, but, you know. Well, I show let them fix it. Let them fix it. Let me win. We're going to get it, Ocho. We'll have chat, GPT, to help us out. Listen, we, we're going to get blessed without that lottery. We're going to be all right. Oh, for sure. Oh, yeah. Oh, that's not a doubt in my mind.

Each episode emanates from our very own speakeasy where we swap stories about the moments that really shaped us on and off camera. What do we invest in right now? What is the immediate advice
Starting point is 00:33:41 you give people right now? It's to value time to be cognizant of time and how important time is, because once the time is up, it's up, and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that push us to grow. And the common denominator is that we have the same people with us, like 30, 40 years ago, right? Starting point is 00:34:17 You got G-Unit, you got Death Row, Rough Riders, Dip Set. Death Row. I like that Rockefeller chain. Oh, hello, Rockefeller? Oh, there it is. Yeah, yeah. Hold on,
Starting point is 00:34:34 which one is Rockefeller? Is that, is that the middle one of no limit? That's not it at the bottom in between cash money and all. And that's what I was going to say. Ooh, damn. Ooh, that's a good one, Chad. Ooh, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Damn. Rough riders, the terrorist squad, bad boy. Ooh, woo. That's, damn. What's your? Which one, which one you think? It's just something about that guy. That man, that death row, when they had, when they had a, uh, a,
Starting point is 00:35:09 Yeah, when they was on top, when they were on top. Yeah, it, it meant something. Uh, did it's something about that, that Rockefeller chain, man. It was, it was. Yeah. Different. I do like the no limit tank. Rough riddles good, the terrorists.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I mean, you look at me, you, and you know exactly who they are. Oh yeah, absolutely. Yeah. That guy, man, that death row, oh boy. Well, Shook, a Shook had a nice little run too, boy. Yeah. Cash money. I mean, the thing is, and I know, like, Snoop, I know Snoop, I know P.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Remember, a big pun? Yeah. Yeah, he's a terrorist squad, yeah. Yeah. What about Drake Owl, Ovo? Is that, they got a chain? The owl? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:18 I mean, I'm not sure if they have a, I know the owl is a symbol that represents over I'm not sure they have a chain I'm sure they I'm sure they do right uh what about uh the death jam have a chain I don't think you know death jam used to have it they had run DMC LL oh yeah the Beastie boys slick Rick slick Rick I don't you know because you know P uh snoo was with death row and no limit mm-hmm I don't know that's that's a tough one I mean, I think I got to go death row. That's all right. I mean, honestly, you can't go wrong.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Yeah. Depending on who you pick. Depending on where you're from. Depending on what error you grew up into. For sure. What y'all thinking, Chad? Who y'all got? Somebody said, death row easy.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Somebody say, uh, death row, no limit G unit. Rap a lot. I forgot about rap a lot. Yeah, I did a call my. boy brother face yeah that's exactly yeah that's exactly who I will call all right we're gonna get out here on business time for our final segment the evening it's time for Q and A before we get to our super chat we got a video voicemail from our discord make sure you join the discord to submit videos for voicemails for us to show this one comes from
Starting point is 00:38:35 boogie let's take a let's take a listen to what boogie had to say what's up on Ocho and still King Ice O'Jow Joe. This is Randall from O'KC. I just wanted to know what y'all thought about this because this is who I see in the finals this year. Boston Celtics OKC. All the way
Starting point is 00:38:55 healthy both teams, who y'all got? I got O'KC. You know how I'm rocking. O City or No City. I think we were talking about this last night that Healthy JT's going to get more games up under his belt. He seems to be a
Starting point is 00:39:14 and quite well, having been off of the length of time that he's been off. That's going to be a great series. Both teams healthy. I can see it going seven games. I probably have to pick OKC as well. But I ain't selling San Antonio out. San Antonio, man, I'm telling you, they're good. They're really good.
Starting point is 00:39:36 They're struggle a little bit right now with the Clippers. It's 30 seconds left in the game. It's a 115, 114. The Clippers are playing without Kauai. so for it to be this close without Kauai who's having an all-N-B-A type of a season. Let's see what he got here. See if Wimby going crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:04 No, he ain't doing it too. He got 21, 13. Castle got 23. Devin Bacill has 18. Darren Fox has 16. Got Carter Bryant has 10. It's a good game. I think it would be this close,
Starting point is 00:40:26 concerning that Kauai wasn't in there. But give them credit. The Kliber could have played hard. For the Kliber to be this many games under 500 to start and then get Kauai back and to get this because I think they're like a top, what a top eight, top nine seed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:43 They got an opportunity for the play in. If Kauai can just stay healthy. But, uh, yeah, I can see, I can see Boston. I can see Boston. The calves, the calves just too up and down for me, Ocho. Yeah. Too inconsistent. They're too inconsistent.
Starting point is 00:40:59 Miami, you know, I don't know if Miami has enough. They get Norman Powell back with the way heroes playing, bam, coming off that historic performance. They might do some things, but all things being equal, healthy, healthy. I think the Celtics probably the best team in the East. You make me pick. James Johnson, Ogonocho, do you guys see the Duke Blue Devils football team winning a national championship
Starting point is 00:41:38 similar to the Indiana Hoosiers. Yeah, if y'all going to put that kind of money into the program like Indiana did? Yeah. I wrestle, I win. First is 5,900. Now he missed a free game, Ocho exposed, Ocho. By the way, Ocho, we love you.
Starting point is 00:42:02 We do understand we wanted to have fun with you. I don't know, Ocho. Man, Ocho, you got hot with you, boy. I would just pour out. I was just, I was just, I was just, I mean, no, no, no, I, I, I went hot with you. I would just, I would just, I would just, I would just, I would just, I would just hot as the situation itself. Hey, listen, we, we, we always go through that air blue moon.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Now, he won, chat, now he want me to get tickets to the Lakers. Their tickets anywhere, $15,000, $25,000. But, well, that, that's, what, the Lakers? Yeah. Oh, I would have had, I had, I would, I would have bought my baby with me then, boy. How are you going to have, but? What she going to sit at? You're going to give her to see.
Starting point is 00:42:51 It's her birthday. She, you lied to me. Hey, that's, hey, you give her your seat. Hey, she had the game like, where's your daddy? Oh, he up there. Hey, speak, speak to that one. Speaking of Chau, she. You got to see this.
Starting point is 00:43:15 When I tell you, next up, Serena, Cocoa Golf, Sloan Stevens. Yeah. Watch. Remember I told you this. Give me another, give me another four years. Hey, um. Hey, what did Joe say? Would Joe upset with you?
Starting point is 00:43:35 No, no. He said, he said, okay. Yeah, yeah, text message. I thought that Joe, what's Hannah's was? Everybody, this is by 11. I started texting last night. You know what Joe ain't coming, right? No, it's, but it's wait.
Starting point is 00:43:48 It's 11 o'clock this morning. No, I told him. I could have texted last night, told him you who were coming, but. Who? Uh, you. JP car search. Y'all take shots every time Ocho said, obviously, we're all getting drunk.
Starting point is 00:44:01 I only say obviously three times. In one sentence. Surf the tsunami. How would you guys feel if the NFL had something similar to the WBC, Feeba World Cup and the Soccer World Cup where other countries compete in football? Man, they get the hell beat out of them.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Don't nobody play football with us? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And there's the level of talent. I mean, it's, it's too, such a huge skill gap. You know what happened? Matter of fact, speaking of the World Cup, is what happens when we play against them.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Yeah. There's such a huge skill gap when it comes to us having to play some of the big countries, the France's, the Brazil. I mean. Yeah. It's, in no country beating us in football. Because y'all don't play it. Y'all football is soccer.
Starting point is 00:44:59 our football is football Yeah good luck Y'all quarterback won't make it out the first quarter Okay, who blocking Miles Garrett Who blocking Micah? Who blocking anybody? Jeffrey Simmons And then who getting open?
Starting point is 00:45:25 R.P. Ruitt, it feels like Lamar is underappreciated in Baltimore. With the trade pickup, this feels like a prove it year. If he fails again, maybe the football gods would give us a Lamar. Jack experience in Atlanta. Look,
Starting point is 00:45:44 this contract is not easy. The Marble was going to probably want north of $300 million. Probably 270 of that guaranteed. Woo! So
Starting point is 00:45:59 Steve says, look, I want to do, if you want to be here, I want you here. But I only want you here if you want to be here. I don't know the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the wording of the contract, that's between Lamar and his mom and the Ravens Brass. But a number like that doesn't get resolved easy.
Starting point is 00:46:20 You got to be thinking about this, Ocho, you need to be thinking about this last year. Two years ago. Okay, from the very first time we did this contract, when we did this last contract that we got him after he played on the franchise tag. Okay, if he performs, what are we prepared to do to go north of this? Because that's what it's going to take.
Starting point is 00:46:39 So you got to start planning. Yeah. You don't say, you know what? I'm buying a house tomorrow. No, you go to the house. You start saving. You started saving years ago. Hey, man, I can't be out here having a good time.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Man, I'm saving up for me a house. Mm-hmm. You got to look at Lamar Jackson as a foundation as a house and says, hey, we need to start planning two years ago. Yeah. For today. But I don't think he ain't unappreciating in Baltimore. No.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Man, y'all see the way them people be careful. killing me. Big Mike. LeBron Duncan on the son and the father is crazy work. Yeah, he got, he got Jabari Smith Jr. And then he looked at it.
Starting point is 00:47:25 And then Jabari, you couldn't do nothing to smile. Like, damn, I let this old men you get me. Don't sleep on him now. He still got some ups. Can he jump like he could at 20, 25, 30? No.
Starting point is 00:47:43 Don't let him catch you slipping now. Sean Hubbard. Hey guys. Hey, love you guys. Can you give my wife? Latoya a shout-out made her a fan too. Absolutely. Sean, thank you for joining us, man.
Starting point is 00:47:56 We appreciate the support. Latoya, he just wanted to give you a shout-out. You ain't got no birthday. It ain't no anniversary. He just wanted to know he loves you. So, Latoya, from the nightcap family, Ocho, and I. Thanks for becoming a fan. We appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Ooh, boy, I'm ashy, boy. Yep. Desmond Williams, nine of receiver core is top three and Ocho is hell send someone to 5900. Nine of the receiver core is top three in what? Top three and what?
Starting point is 00:48:28 And they ain't even played together, man. What are we talking about? So that means they would have to be behind Cincinnati and the Cowboys. In front of, also, so you got Puka and Devante, you got Chasing Higgins, and you got Citi and Peeley.
Starting point is 00:48:54 So that means they're in front of one of those combos. I don't know which one, but they're in front of one of them if you say they're top three. So what about AJ and Devante? Okay, that means they're in front of two of those three, two of those four. I just say it, that's what he said. I didn't say it. Listen, they're going to play well. They're going to play well because of the names on paper just because the team they're going to.
Starting point is 00:49:24 But let's let it happen first. Slow down. Kevin Boughtonite, you playing with your brother would have been diabolical for your opponents. No, my brother had retired by that time. In 95 season,
Starting point is 00:49:37 my brother retired in 95. So after the 95 season, I was potentially, I was going to Arizona. And then in 99, I was about to get traded during the season to Green Bay. T.S. Car Watch Detail Service
Starting point is 00:49:55 is Tony Gonzalez, is the best tight end ever. For me, I got Kelsey slightly above Gronk. I think Kelsey and Gronk are the two best tight ends that I saw with my own two eyes. I think Tony had an unbelievable season, but the big games in which those guys delivered, game in and game out, year in and year out,
Starting point is 00:50:15 not just regular season big games, but the postseason, that's why I give those two guys to nine. But, I mean, when you got 1,300 catches over 15,000 yards, the second most touchdowns. At that position, I can see why somebody would say you're the best. But you look at what Gronk and Kelsey's done in the postseason
Starting point is 00:50:37 and you look at the numbers that they put up in the regular season in every big game, those guys came. That's where I'm at. Hey, Camp 24, who do you believe should be a 99 over and made it Manning in 27? Miles Garrett?
Starting point is 00:50:52 Yep. That's right. That's right. Miles. I think Miles, Gary, I think, I think, JSC ain't going to get 99. I think Pooka's going to get 99.
Starting point is 00:51:04 I like that. I think Trey McBride's going to get a 99. He put together another season like that. Well, he just put together back-to-back-to-back hunter-catch seasons. And this one was a 126. Damn.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Yeah. That's crazy. So, I got Miles, J-S-N, Pam puka, Trey McBride. I think who else? That's about it.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Yeah. Kevin Bognite, Ocho, you and Ocho, you and T.O. was top tier. Top five defenses that year. Wish you all had won the chip, bro. Yeah, T.O. putting it enough work in. Tio got hurt.
Starting point is 00:51:58 He toured his ACL that year and what, like week 13, Ocho? When? When he was in Cincinnati with you? He didn't get hurt. Tio did get hurt. He did? Yes.
Starting point is 00:52:09 I don't remember that. No. No, no, no. He didn't get her on. Not, now did I remember? Pull up T.O. Pull up T.O.
Starting point is 00:52:18 In Cincinnati. I would remember that. Ocho. God, damn, that was so long ago, boy, I can't he?
Starting point is 00:52:29 I know that, I know that juggle were, I know that juggle were bowling, boy. Yeah, he's about to have another thousand, a thousand,
Starting point is 00:52:36 uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, what happened? He tore his ACL. He tore his ACL.
Starting point is 00:52:54 how the I wonder what we was that what week that was a Josh Allen probably be 992 because isn't Josh Allen
Starting point is 00:53:09 already a 99 oh Joe I don't know yeah that's what yeah he tore his meniscus the offseason yeah so he tore his meniscus
Starting point is 00:53:24 oh okay okay with y'all and then doing a personal workout he tore his ACL but I know he had got injured. I think he got injured like week 13 with you guys. Oh, it was two on
Starting point is 00:53:35 him. He's about to have a thousand yard season. Yeah. 510 Steve make sure you ask Dak about that pre-nut. Stafford might be 99 too old you. Hey, you can't just give everybody 99. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Everybody can't have it 99. But I think, but you, when you go back and look at it like MVP, normally the MVP. It, okay. And, you know, he had, what do he have 46 touchdowns on show 46 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and the way he, hey,
Starting point is 00:54:16 his postseason, it took a hercule and effort for the Seahawks. But it was, who beat them boys? Yeah. Yeah. But I, Miles Garrett, I think Miles Garrett for sure. I think J.S.N. and Pooker, three. I think
Starting point is 00:54:32 McBride. I think those are definite. I think, I think, what you call it was a 99. If I'm not mistaken, I think Josh Allen was already a So he might dip down 98, but I think those four are definitely going to be 99, don't you? Make sure to ask Jack about that pre-num. Man, I ain't asking that. That's a personal stuff.
Starting point is 00:54:50 I wish them the best. They're going to be co-parents now. They got two small children, and that is, hey, that's what they got to think about. It's not about him. It's not about her. What is in the best interest of the children? I don't know. I don't care what went on.
Starting point is 00:55:06 They'll figure it out. Sam LeGrad 89. that was Harper's problem in the best man, always chasing an elusive better. You're right? Hey. Piano Magnus E. Ocho, can you shout up my cousin Holter
Starting point is 00:55:24 turning 21 yesterday. He's a big Falcons fan and any life advice for him turning 21. Yeah, try to turn 22. Hey, that was a good one. That's a good one. Yes. Walter, happy 21st.
Starting point is 00:55:41 Happy birthday, why? You do a lot of things now. But cherish that time. Enjoy it. Nothing really special about 21. You got to get up, go to work. I don't know if you're in school or anything, but hey, just try to be better, try to be better at 21 than you were at 20.
Starting point is 00:56:01 And save your money. Save it. Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy, hey doc. Hey, fam, do you think relationships feel hard? for y'all because of who you are. And if so, why not treat marriage like the game? Commit, adjust, fight for it every single day. Even when you do all that, doc, you still can get traded.
Starting point is 00:56:22 You still can get cut. Come on now. Talk about it. Tom Brady, as committed as anybody, got let go. Peyton Manning, as committed as anybody, got let go. Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Emmett Smith, Bruce Smith, Trey Loweens, Randy Mark. Hey, hey, Unk, sometimes you get tired of fighting.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Yeah. Sometimes you get tired of fighting. Sometimes you just want peace. You don't want to auger all the time. It could be, for the most, for the most part, Ocho, when you're in a relationship, they don't be looking at you like you somebody special. They cuss you out just like they would a regular person.
Starting point is 00:57:10 Absolutely. Absolutely. They might even go harder in the pain on you because of, who you are. Uh, yes. It's definitely not an easy situation. What'd you think? You think we get treated different
Starting point is 00:57:34 because of who we are? I mean, it comes with a territory now and there's no way to hide that most of the time. And, hey, that's, it just, it's a part of us at this point. You know, you 30, I'm there in 30 plus years in being who I am. Mm-hmm. I have to accept that most of the time, you know, being able to decipher whether people are here for that. I mean, obviously, there's really no benefit of being with me because I ain't spending no goddamn money.
Starting point is 00:58:06 So that, if you're with me, you actually really with me for me. Because you ain't getting shit. I mean, no disrespect. I'm going to do the things I should do, but I don't go over and beyond where it's like, oh, you live in this crazy lifestyle. Because that ain't it. That ain't happening. So anyone dealing with me is they genuinely have to like me. Yeah, it's tough.
Starting point is 00:58:30 It's tough. You have to be mindful. At the end of the day, you strip all that way. I'm still a human being. You take the NFL, you take the Hall of Fame, you take the podcast, I'm still a human being. I still have feelings. You know, I don't feel, I don't want to talk to you any kind of way, but I was by the same token, don't feel you can talk to me any kind of way because of who I am in the situation that I'm in,
Starting point is 00:58:53 and I'm going to allow that because that's not happening. I'm not going to be, you know, disrespectful. I don't call women out of their names. I don't call them this and dad to all that other stuff. That ain't who I am, on Joe. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Yeah. By the same token, I don't want you calling me out my name. Terry Bullard, no limit tank all day. I mean, a lot of people had, uh,
Starting point is 00:59:22 they had, uh, death road and no limit tank. Uh, T.S carwatch detail service. ROC chain, easy. Everybody wanted that chain. Rappers who wasn't even signed over there wanted that chain.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Yeah, they rock. I wrestle, I win. Ocho, what's the scariest hit you've seen or taken? Ocho, stop being cheap and pay the light bill for your nightcap sign. Hey, oh, my scariest hit was Brian Russell. I never forget, Cleveland Browns. Late in the fourth quarter, we up 28, 28 something. Ain't no reason for me to even be in the game with three minutes, two minutes left,
Starting point is 01:00:08 whatever it was only time i got hit and got knocked out out cold you try to get a cheap try to get no cheap touchdown or a hundred yards yeah i don't know what i were doing huh a slant a slant route hey man i went to try to jump knowing good and well i it was too high why am i even jumping i jumped anyway brian russar went right underneath my chin all this was split open Big gash I'd never forget And that was the last time I got
Starting point is 01:00:41 I got 12 12 years I got hit one One good time That was it Yeah I got a couple of those He got me too in Minnesota So I know the feeling Got me running put in my chin too
Starting point is 01:00:53 Wait Brian Russell again Yeah Hey we go Hey we gonna have to jump him Yeah yeah I think he got fine for my head He got fine for yours Absolutely
Starting point is 01:01:03 Yeah No absolutely not Remember, everything was, everything was, it was football back then. Always J. Twis, Kauai back to the Spurs to play to pair with Wemby next year.
