Starting point is 00:00:00 Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered podcast? Here's what you missed. There should not be a single law enforcement agency. It does not have body cameras. It's real. Black farmers have been under attack. This is just the latest example of them just slapping DEI on anything. It's raw.
Starting point is 00:00:16 And I'm sitting here going, they are playing y'all for fools. Catch Roland Martin's daily commentary on the Black Information Network. And download Roland Martin Unfiltered on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, wherever you get your podcasts. We've all been there. We've had seasons that have shaken everything. The question is, what remains when the shaking stops? Hi, I'm Gary Valenzheno. And on my podcast, Unshaken with Gary Vee,
Starting point is 00:00:46 I sit down with amazing personalities and we talk about the seasons that nearly broke them, the lows that carried them to their highs. Listen to Unshaken with Gary Vee on the I-Heart. Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I am talking to a felon right now with face tattoos, and I cannot decide if I like him or not. That was a caller from my podcast, Therapy Gecko, where I speak with anonymous callers about their problems, relationships, and anything else in the depths of their mind. It all happens
Starting point is 00:01:21 on my show, Therapy Gecko. So if you're trying to get out of your own head and into someone else's, this is the podcast for you. Listen to therapy. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's Nora Jones, and my podcast playing along is back with more of my favorite musicians. Check out my newest episode with Phineas. So I went home and I asked Billy if she wanted to sing it. She immediately made it her own thing. You really know how to make me cry when you give me those oceanals.
Starting point is 00:01:56 And I'm scared. So come hang out with us in the studio. and listen to Playing Along on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Honey, is it on? Is it on? Is this thing recording? This is your girl T.S. Madison, coming to you loud, live and always and favor in color from the Outlaws podcast with me, T.S. Madison. This week, Laverne Cox is back.
Starting point is 00:02:17 We're talking about her new book, her controversial ex, and going off on the red carpet. 20 minutes later, he was like, let's squash this. I talk about it. I was like, no, you do not talk to me like that. That is unacceptable. I walked in a sack. We used to break out. And can you ever really change a man?
Starting point is 00:02:33 Listen to Outlaws with T.S. Madison on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Vikings defeated the Giants. 1310, Cala Murray, kept the chains moving. Only played one drive. J.J. McCarthy, 4 for 7, 34 yards of a sack. First couple of drives didn't look that good. Carson Wentz came in, 9 to 14, 81 yards.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I haven't been to hold you. It's going to be hard for J.J. McCarthy to stay on his roster. Oh. I think there's a greater chance. I think there's a greater chance they try and trade him. Me personally. Because you won't, the number one thing I'm looking for.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Yeah. I believe Cala Murray is their starting quarterback. They want to go with Caller Murray. Yes. If my starter goes down, who do I believe give me the best chance to keep this thing afloat until Kyle gets back? You believe it's JJ McCarthy?
Starting point is 00:03:30 or you believe it's Carson wins. Probably Carson wins, but I don't, I don't see the moving on from someone that was picked so high. What, only what, two years ago,
Starting point is 00:03:38 if I'm not mistaken. Man, please. Boy, they moved on from Sam Darno. Boy, they moved on from, Zach,
Starting point is 00:03:45 your guy, Zach Wilson. Yeah, yeah, but year three, I just don't see it. Because you get, I see it.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Cala, Cala Murray came in on the what, huh? Cala Murray side. On the one-year deal? Yeah, he's on a one-year deal. So I don't,
Starting point is 00:04:00 I don't think we move on from him that fast, even though he doesn't look good yet. He hadn't looked good in the past either, but absolutely not that soon. But guess what? If Calamari doesn't look good, they're not going to win. If Calamari don't get it done, the backup's probably likelihood.
Starting point is 00:04:15 So guess what they're going to be in the market for anyway? Quarterback. Tadda. It was funny. That team is too good. They're not going to be able to get anybody, anybody of an extreme, extreme value at the quarterback position
Starting point is 00:04:29 because they're still going to do well with that supporting cash they have. Hey, I absolutely agree with Ocho on this one because I don't think Kyle Murray's job is going to be hard considering the fact that when you got guys like Aaron Jones back there, bro, I mean, they run game cutting up. I mean, hell, they cut up the data where Kyle of Murray-Burley had to do anything. So, you know what I mean? Think about that.
Starting point is 00:04:52 So I think with all the weapons that they have and their run game that they have, Ocho, I think his job going to be smooth selling. It's so funny, too, Joe. I'm glad you just said that. I don't think people understand how it's not easy. I'm not saying it's easy, but how easy the quarterback position is for players that are elite or in the conversation of being top ten in quarterbacks when you have a certain supporting cast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Kyla Murray. I'm trying to think who else has unbelievable weapons, where it's like if you have a Tesla, so you put the car, you put the Tesla on an auto pilot? Oh, Jerry Golf, DAC. Oh, Jerry Golf, DAC is one. Yeah, Rams. Yeah, Stafford. Matthew Stafford, Joe, I'm not saying the position is easy.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Brock Purdy. Yeah, Brock Purdy. Yeah, that kind of support cast that are the upper echelon of their respective positions. Yeah. Oh, it makes a quarterback job so much easier. Not only the quarterback, the person calling the plays. Jalen Hurts. Oh, another one.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Now, now, I need, Mackay Lemon, I need him healthy. You didn't get healthy. I need him healthy. Yeah. I need him healthy. That's my only issue. And for the Giants,
Starting point is 00:06:13 y'all get Odell some love. I know he ain't had but six yards too catcher, but for somebody who ain't played since 2018, hell, you know, he probably feel pretty good just to get out there and get his feet wet, get moved, and catch a couple balls. You know, it was good to see that man, the young man back out there, bro.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Well, you mean, played in the Giants since the 2018. Yeah, that's the last time he played with the Giants, right? Yes. Yes. But he, you know, look, it's going to take some time. I mean, look, he, I mean, he still look explosive. The question is, is he going to get enough opportunities?
Starting point is 00:06:44 Because at the end of the day, you got to get opportunities. I don't give a damn, you know, all that, you know, he can still catch the balls. He can still run Ross. He's still an elite, like, right runner. They don't throw me no balls. All I'm doing is running some good looking routes for what? I'm running these great routes and ain't nobody throwing me the ball. Jackson Dart was three or four, 26 yards of touchdown, took two sacks, went to the blue tent again.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Here's Jackson Dart with his frustration after the game about having to go to the tent. As far as the blue tent, I really respect the rules and the thought behind the NFL assets, keeping players healthy and reviewing things. But at the same time, I'm still puzzling by it just feeling like every time that I get hit, you know, I just find my way in there, which at times I still try to wrap my head around. But that's all that I'm going to say about that situation. You know, I'm really happy with the driving. Yeah, he frustrated. He frustrated.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yeah. And especially on that hit, I mean, it was a good hit, too. I'm not sure what the right tackle was doing. Then wasn't the right tag was the damn running back. The running back then picked the damn block up. Yeah. He went, he went to,
Starting point is 00:08:04 you know what happened? Joe, it looked like he wanted to run a route, and then he realized, oh, I got to block it's too damn late. He had his head in that boy chest. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:08:12 and listen, the hit was perfect because he didn't hit him in the head. He hit him right where the numbers are. Anyone looking, right, Joe? That man were looking over that way.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Them got to be the worst hits, the one that you don't see. Hell yeah, the ones you don't see. Hell yeah. Your body order relaxed, too? He loved on that boy. You know how you walk in and you walk into something
Starting point is 00:08:31 and you like, damn, what the heck? You get mad at everybody around you because you weren't paying attention and you walk into something. Because like, oh, you'll say, you relax. You just like, and then bam. Yeah. If somebody around, you get mad at them. Like, damn, you could have told me that was coming.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Yeah, that day I'm running back out. I'm like, bro, what the hell are you do? See? Hey, hey. Hey, that's, that's when you, hey, that's when you get back to practice, y'all had a damn film session, he keep running it back.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Hey, hey, hey, you, you beat up, you be back there with your head down like, damn, I know I messed that one up. You know what I mean? Oh, that's the way, that's the coach. Say, you know what, son? We're gonna put your ass in quarterback. And we're gonna let the guy miss the back
Starting point is 00:09:17 and let you see how it feel. I should put my foot in your head. Hey. Go ahead, go ahead, Ocho. No, hey, I'm with you. I'm with you. You're right. I mean, you can't make those kind of mistakes. You can't make those MAs.
Starting point is 00:09:32 That's the missus assignment. Not only a Mr. Simon, Joe, it's the starting quarterback. It's a starting quarterback. You can't let that get hit. No, you can't let him get here. You got you got to know that. I'm just trying to go ahead, Joe. He was too damn excited back down.
Starting point is 00:09:48 He was trying to catch him a damn pass and get out of there. You hear me? Hey, hey, by the time he realized. He bought to catch Delta and get up out of New York. You keep making play, you keep doing stuff like that. Hey, by the time he realized in hell, that man already was in his chair. It took that man a minute to get up too, boy.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Yes. Hold on, bro. That guy is standing right there. That's a DB. So ask yourself the question. Why is he standing there? In what defense does he know, I don't know if it was a slot or what?
Starting point is 00:10:24 In what defense does he normally stand there? Okay, the tackle steps. down. You're supposed to be a foot outside. Yeah. Or the damn tackle right off his hip. I guarantee I guarantee that what they told him. Hey, how bad do you think their injury is
Starting point is 00:10:45 for Jamal Adams? I didn't see it. I heard about it, but I didn't see it. They caught it. If you get carted off, meaning you can't walk, it has to be some type of significance to it because most time NFL players, if they can walk, not walk literally.
Starting point is 00:11:01 but if they can come off on their own, they rather than get carted off. Man, I saw Goose get carted off and come right back out. Man, goose. If Goose hit the Paul Pierce? Goose, they carded goose off on a stretcher. A stretcher?
Starting point is 00:11:20 Man, they had goose on that thing, had goose strapped down. But Goose had them told him, Goose said, hey, don't roll me over because I already don't poop my pants so just keep me flat on my back. So, man, they had Goose legs strapped down like this here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Man, about five, seven minutes later, Goose come running out of the locker room. He has changed his uniform. Man, Goose was always on some bull, giant. Rest his soul, man. He probably up there laughing and told him by Sharper. Why are you telling that story? The Giants offensive line, they just,
Starting point is 00:11:59 They go, hey, they'll get somebody hurt. Yeah, they defense line, they weren't hitting on nothing either. That man averaged nine yards of carry here. Hey, like little man told Dollar Bill, if you don't play this man, somebody's going to get hurt. Well, I can't. Everybody will get hurt. You're going to get hurt because you're the one to catch it all them blows.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Yeah. They got your head up. They got your head rolled up in the window. They're putting cigarettes out on your nose. The few Giants games I was able to watch last year, Uncle Joe, Because of the excitement that Jackson Dart and Cam Skatterboe brought to the NFL, New York Giants, I was tuning to watch him. But one thing about Jackson Dart is he was running for his life last year. He was running for his life last year.
Starting point is 00:12:42 And again, I know it's just the preseason. What, hello? Ocho. Yeah. I don't know if you noticed it, but did you see 77? The one they brought from the Ravens? Hey, I went, I ain't, I'm going to say nothing, Joe. I ain't want to say nothing.
Starting point is 00:13:02 What's the last? What's the land name? Fish filet. Fulet. That's a big boy, man. That's a big boy. You shouldn't be that big and that sorry. That's a big boy.
Starting point is 00:13:21 How are you that big and can't block the sun at your eyes, Joe? Boy, you good? Hey, I don't know how he had to be good at some point in time. But normally, like my college, college coach told me, say, son, he said, I told everybody, I always tell my team, he said, do not recruit offensive linemen. I say, coach, why you don't want to recruit no offensive linemen? He says, I want to recruit defensive linemen.
Starting point is 00:13:49 He said, because if they can't tackle nobody, I'll put them at the offensive line, and they got the mentality to play offensive line because they'll fight you. He says, son, if I recruit an offensive lineman and he big, I ain't got number of the big I guess equipment manager on my hand when you don't pay it out. That's a good one. That's a good one. Forlily, they don't normally equipment managers, you know, but bro, that's where you're headed.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Yeah. Man. He's bad. And Lamar, Lamar might have said, look here, if y'all get rid of him, I'll let y'all keep $10 million. He was that bad last year? As Ocho. Hey, Joe.
Starting point is 00:14:32 You know, I don't talk about nobody, Joe. It's hard for me, you know, to talk about a player. If anything, I try to find a good in it. But it was bad, you know, based on the film that we saw. And because it's the Ravens, because it's Lamar Jackson, and everybody's watching their games. Yeah. So it magnified everything he did wrong.
Starting point is 00:14:53 It magnified it, even more. Hell, I couldn't magnify anything that he did right. I mean, as soon as a snap of the ball, You look at you do it like this right here Joe Man going past you Right Come on man Like I said
Starting point is 00:15:10 Boy and Father Lamar Because you know how The quarterback's old show They always buy the offensive lineman Buy them gift They buy them golf club Shotgun They buy them ATVs
Starting point is 00:15:20 Yeah And get them sound Bro don't look at you Ain't nothing in front of your locker You ain't get the mophophane Yeah I ain't like I wouldn't get buy him nothing Yeah
Starting point is 00:15:30 I can't believe I can't believe Harbs took it with him. Yeah, I'd have left them in Baltimore. They get, they had to give him a little chance, man. It's the first preseason game. We'll give him a shot, see what he got. See what he looks like. Oh, it's over well. He might get better.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Think about he had to see him the train to prepare. They get better at his position. Harb believes in him. So that gave him that made that man been in Baltimore for five, six years, what you mean going to get better? Sometimes it take a little time. How about time you? Okay, you get yourself cut and get me fired.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Now, when it comes worse, come to worse, I'm going to cut you before you get me fired. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Man, come up me. Ocho, you saw that man last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then Joe, Joe, Ocho, talking about, oh, he that bad, he's not good?
Starting point is 00:16:27 Right. Yeah, that's a tough position to play, man. Hold on what position in the NFL isn't tough. Damn. You only got 50 of eight big, think about it, of 8 billion people in the world, 1,500 of them. Okay, 1,600 people do what we do.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Yeah. Of those 1,600, you only got about 200 that are at the top of the food chain. Yeah, yeah. But if you end the league of 8 billion people, think about 1,600 into 8 billion. 10% that's point like 3.5%
Starting point is 00:17:08 and you out there doing that come on man right you right I mean you know at some point in time you just got to say you not fitting to beat me all day yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:17:24 you got to have that mentality in general some point in time you got to fight back hey I'll lose one or two of them that's by then that's it even get all of them he I don't know bad look here Hey, I don't know what, I don't know what hard for thinking, though, but hey,
Starting point is 00:17:45 normally what coaches leave, they will bring some of their former players because they want to practice schedule, they'll let everybody know what it's like, you know, what, what's his expectations, things of that nature. But I'll pick somebody else to bring with me. I ain't bringing him. No. Hold on, did he bring, didn't he bring, it ain't likely over there? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Yeah. I think Richard, Ricard over there too. Pratrick, uh, yeah, the fullback. Oh,
Starting point is 00:18:18 the fullback. Okay, okay. Yeah. I know Derek Hehrer and say, man, hey, I had an extra $100,
Starting point is 00:18:22 I had an extra foul, a couple of hundred thousand for you to stay here. That was a big boy, 300 pounds. You're nice. Every once in a while, they throw him a ball, nocho,
Starting point is 00:18:33 give him a pass, Joe, let him run the football. But most of the time, hey, he was a batterer around for, uh, for D.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Henry. And OBJ made two catches in the return to the Giants. Here's Odell after the game letting everyone know. Let's take a listen to what OBJ had to say. I'm putting in there, there's a frustration aspect. I think at the end of the day, it's kind of always been like that. You know, the tape will never lie and all of those things. So the right people will see it.
Starting point is 00:19:02 And if you aren't open, you aren't open, if you aren't getting open, I'm sure that, you know, they'll see that. So at the end of the day right now, the only thing that matters is is recovering and getting ready for the next week and then putting your best foot forward from my husband during the game joe is actually joshane was on the broadcast and he said you had a good camp and said you've been getting open so like he obviously and the team has noticed what does that mean to you that they seem to yeah that they seem to i'm glad they see it but i've been doing it you know so it feels good just to be back out there um but i do feel pretty good like i had some time off
Starting point is 00:19:38 my body got the view of my mind everything spirit um so like i say it's just about putting your best step forward now would you wish maybe a little bit though that that one where they it seemed like i guess it was just slant to fields and uh i guess they might have blown the coverage there nobody back there i was like god you're not gonna bless me like that today only one problem one problem he's never had um and i i just heard you know that never been his no no he can get He's never been his issue. He's one that's always been able to get open. He's always been able to, you know, beat whoever is in front of him.
Starting point is 00:20:14 It didn't matter. And what I like about OBJ, now this is the OBJ of old. We haven't seen in a while, but he did with the Ravens. He can catch a slant. He can take it 80. Yeah, for sure. He can take you deep. There was nothing.
Starting point is 00:20:27 There wasn't a weakness in his game. His only problem was is being healthy. That's it. ACL, another ACL, but now you're back and you're feeling good again. Broke his leg. Yeah, broken leg. Is he going to get the opportunities he used to get, you know, back then? Probably not.
Starting point is 00:20:41 So what he does have to do is when he makes a team and when he gets his opportunities, you know, in these games, you have to make the most of those opportunities. Even if it's two or three balls, those two or three, you got to understand. With somebody like Odell, who is phenomenal with the ball in his hands, you got to make the most of it. So if you get three balls, one of those could be a house call. The only thing is, Ocho, and you know this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:04 As you, the further you move from one, and you start going to two, the three, the four, the less they look your way. Yeah. Because they don't start. See, they always go start with one, even when he ain't even supposed to be
Starting point is 00:21:16 the one more on the option. Yeah. Absolutely. So now, like you said, I don't beat my guy, but you, in your mind, you wasn't even thinking about me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yeah. Yeah. And then, you know, also, also, Joe, that's the nature of this business in general, based on age, based on the pecking order, because Malik neighbors,
Starting point is 00:21:36 is all it can be put in position to make those players because he can get into smoke of the opportunities. I'm not sure who the number two going to be. Maybe is it Sladen? Sladen will probably be the number two.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Yes, maybe? I don't know. Hey, so if you ain't one or two here, it's very seldom you're going to get many balls throwing your way, huh? Yeah, you're going to get some, Joe. You'll get some.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Some, you know? But somebody like OBJ, it's not a bad thing because of what he can do with just one ball. Yeah. ain't no telling. Listen, a DB or a safety take the wrong angle,
Starting point is 00:22:10 boy, that's a house call. Yeah. I think the thing is, Joe, is that when you look at a guy like OBJ and OBJ, if you gave him the balls, he still can make the plays. Now, could he be the first three, four years OBJ? I don't know if he can be that.
Starting point is 00:22:27 But I know he can be more valuable than what he's shown over the last several years because he doesn't get those opportunities. And when people, you don't get the opportunities, it's like anything. hell, if somebody come along and offer me Uber says I give you some equity in Uber or something like that and I ain't really got to put no money up, it's easy.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Yeah. Because the opportunity to present itself. Yes. But if the opportunity to them present itself, how am I supposed to get on on something like this? Now, I did mess up some pretty good opportunity to have an opportunity to get on on crypto at $250. Too!
Starting point is 00:23:00 Well, I'm like Florida every right now, damn, damn, damn. But I ain't done nobody to have crypto. I ain't believe in it. Huh? No, hell no, I didn't know anything about it because it's like okay, I said, what is it? Well, it's a currency and it's digital. I said, so I can't get, I can't, nah, you know, you never have, you're never physical. I said, oh, no, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Hey, hey, hey, and if you lose the damn pass code, it's a rap. I don't care how much you got enough. Wait, hey, hey, Joe, you saw a dude that been looking for his for 12 years. He finally gave up. He had like 800, 900 million in crypto, yeah. Why don't have got it now. What? Man, that man pays so much money to have a land.
Starting point is 00:23:37 He had a whole landfill. He dug up. Still couldn't find it. Couldn't find it. Damn. No, I get, look, but I, I, I hope OBJ has a, you know, because now he has a son, his son is enough to understand what's going on. Get opportunity to see pops play.
Starting point is 00:23:55 That'd be something, that would something really, really cool. If OBJ can go out there and, you know, hey, give, let him get like 30, 30, 35, 40 catches. Yes, sir. I think the days, you know, Ocho, that, that 75, 8,000. 75, 80, 90 catches. I don't think that's possibly anymore. It's not enough, excuse me. It's not enough balls of pause.
Starting point is 00:24:14 It's not enough balls to go around for that to actually happen because you're not going to get those kind of opportunities. Right. Especially with Malif, man, that joke at him. Yeah, if he helped, he definitely go get his target. He's going to get his target. Well, he's nice. Go ahead, Joe, what do you want to say?
Starting point is 00:24:32 I'm saying, y'all was saying it's not, you know, he'll never be able to. catch 80, 90 balls again. But I'm saying as a number one receiver, that's possible for a number one receiver, right? Oh, hell yeah. A hundred balls. That's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:24:47 In today's game, if you're the number one, but you got you 130 targets no matter what. The way they're throwing that thing now, huh? Absolutely. Yes. Absolutely. I'm looking at, hold on. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:11 We got some for them, John, we won. Oh, man. You show? Shit. It's like he stepped on the back of the guy here. Who? His leg snap. Adams, Jamal Adams.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yeah. Damn. What you mean to snap, huh? You mean like a twisted ankle? No, worse than a twisted ankle. Ah. It's worse than a twisted ankle. Damn.
Starting point is 00:25:43 That's the one, them the ones that hurt, bro. It's like them, the damn season really ain't even started. Now I already got a season ending injury. This is your girl T.S. Madison coming to you loud, live and always and favor in color from the Outlaws podcast with me, T.S. Madison. This week, Laverne Cox is back. Ghetto Superstar. Starting point is 00:28:58 Laverne, I love you. We're talking about her new book, her controversial X, and going off on the red carpet. 20 minutes later, he was like, let's squash this to talk about it. I was like, no, you do not talk to me like that. That is unacceptable.

Madison on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2015, Teenager Joy Morgan discovered strangely compelling YouTube sermons from the religious group Israel United in Christ, or IUIC. Her initial curiosity developed into devotion.
Starting point is 00:29:36 She distanced herself from friends and family, embraced new identity, immersed herself in the IUIC, and believed she'd found the truth. IUIC is the best family that I've ever had. In fact, she had found what many called a cult. And on Boxing Day 2018, Joy disappeared forever. In the new six-part investigative podcast, The Missing Sister, Charlie Brinkhurst Cuff and Freiturn, explore Joy Story, the family she left, and the religious group she found.
Starting point is 00:30:04 You know when you get that feed, I'm like, I don't want to be here. I want to get out. I want to go ahead and out. It's a story about truth, lies, a young woman yearning to belong, and the family still waiting for answers. All episodes available now to binge. Starting point is 00:30:25 Damn. Man, heal up, Jamal, man. Man, so sorry, so sorry about that injury, bro. Keep your head up. Rams' chief. Rams win 20 to 12. Justin Fields in his debut for 41, 4-4-4-4-4-41 yards. One drive looked really, really sharp.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Stets and Benny got the start for the Rams. Ty Simpson looked like, who, 21 or 25, 190, two touchdowns, 125 pass-a-rating. Man, look here. But also, we talked about last year, if you look at him, he was a smack dab in the Housman race. Oh, yeah. Those first seven, eight, seven, eight, nine games, maybe.
Starting point is 00:31:06 At least the first seven or eight. Yeah. He was as good as a quarterback as they had in all the college football. And then all of a sudden, he just like, but you look at him, he's a big, nice kid, nice pocket presents, nice arm can throw on the move. Hey, Todd Simpson was nice, man.
Starting point is 00:31:27 You know, what jumped out with me, you know, young quarterback going in the arrowhead, completing over 80% of his passes. You know what I'm saying? throws two touchdown. Doesn't turn the ball over, Uncle Ocho. If I'm Sean McVeigh, that's exactly what I want to see, bro.
Starting point is 00:31:42 That's exactly what I want to see. I want to see you have poison patience in that pocket, making plays, you know, in Arrowhead, which is a tough place to play. I know it's preseason hell. But at the end of the day, we have to evaluate these players regardless. So for him to come out and play like that. And this is a thing too, Joe.
Starting point is 00:31:59 If you're playing like that and it is a preseason and you're not playing with the ones and you look the way you just did, well, how do you think you're going to look and be playing with the number one with the starters? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I can see a situation where they trade, Stets and Bennett, or they try to. If Todd Simpson continues to look the way it is,
Starting point is 00:32:18 or they keep three quarterbacks. that's likely. Yeah, I mean, keeping three quarterbacks, Ocho, it's, man, because, man, because none of them play deep, because none of them play special teams. Right. You know how valuable special teams is.
Starting point is 00:32:33 That's normally reserved for a wire receiver or a corner linebacker or an offensive lineman. Normally, offensive linemen, you've got to have at least two offensive linemen that can play multiple positions. Yeah. Guard can play either left or right guard. Sinter can play one of the guard spots.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Right tackle can play or a guard can play right tackle. I've got to have a guy, I've got to have a couple of guys on the offensive line that can swing it. I know y'all would say, which is a swing,
Starting point is 00:33:01 a swing guy that he can play multiple positions. That's a swinger. That's a swinger, a swinger play multiple positions, don't it? There you go, Joe. See how I'm saying with Joe? Y'all see how Joe is? Y'all see, y'all get Joe passed.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Me and Ocho, y'all kill me and Ocho with that. Hey, hey, y'all like them little kids. who tattel tell all the time. You know what I'm saying? Because that's how you be doing us? Nah, chat ain't going for that. What I tell you? What I tell you? What I tell you about Okidocho?
Starting point is 00:33:28 What I tell you about Uncle Cho? The older they get, the freakier they get. What I tell y'all? I don't have to tell Chad to hell. They already know it. Nah, no. No, no. They ain't know nothing.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Hey, Joe. What's up? Why are you holding your mic? Like you're one of the Aisie brothers? Man, fell off the thing. I got to screw it on, but I had to take this cord off. So I made I'm disconnected from y'all for a minute.
Starting point is 00:33:49 So I can just hold it. It's all good. Okay. Hey, just give us the song. What you want to hear? Go tell it on the mountain. Over the hills and everywhere. Hey, there should be my girl favorite song,
Starting point is 00:34:07 Ocho she's singing in church. Go tell on the back of Jesus Christ's boy. Hello. Hell. Dean Carter's had two receiving touchdowns. Now, look, Ty Simpson looked really good. I thought Justin Fields looked good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:21 I did. I thought he looked really good. But he, but he, he, he has that ability. Yeah. He really does.
Starting point is 00:34:28 He has that ability to look good. I just, I just don't know. I just, I just thought after watching him in Ohio State, I just like, oh, too, he can't miss. He got legs.
Starting point is 00:34:41 He got run. I mean, he could run. I mean, he could throw the football. I mean, he had, I mean, I was like, he can't miss. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Yeah. Hey, what about the Cyrus Allen kid? I've seen Andy Reid really give him high praise about his ride running. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He'd been doing some good things in camp. Hey, hey, hey, hey. All camp. He looked good at them.
Starting point is 00:35:03 There's a DB, too, number five. I can't think of his last name. I don't want to butcher his last name, Chad. He'd been putting everybody in hell, locking everybody up. Yeah. Yeah, chat, chat, chat, plea number five, the DB for the Kansas City Chief. He's been playing really well. I'm seeing many clips, and he's just strapping everybody, Joe.
Starting point is 00:35:24 By every clip I see. Yeah, it's, but no, Ty, Ty, look good. Look, and the one thing that system does, that system is very quarterback-friendly. If you can process information fast, you can be really, really good in the West Coast system because they got options. They got, they adjust a lot of routes.
Starting point is 00:35:46 Because sometimes, you know, you have routes, I don't know how friendly your routes were. They play this coverage, you run this route. They play that coverage, you run that route. And the thing is that you need smart people because you guys both got to see it the same way. You can't say, well, I thought it was this and I did that. Well, I thought it was that and I ran this.
Starting point is 00:36:05 You guys got to be on the same page. You got to have them high IQ cats. You got to have that. Because I can't see this as a guy playing this coverage and throw this route. and all of a sudden you snap it off and run so you run a you run a fade. Yeah. Most our plays, especially for me at the exposition, is I always had a two-way go.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Yep. If the single high, I'm doing what we're doing. If they go to cover two, most of the time I would even, I would still have an option to run a dig or I had a corner out. If you, if you go to two, either way, if you stay single high, I'm a kid you on the dig. You go cover two and they, no matter what, they was coming to me regardless. Right. Plays, but they come in there regardless, I would have a two options based on what they did defensively.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yeah, you play cover two to dig is still going to be there because all you're going to do is push me into the rap. Yeah. Because all you try to do is follow me inside so the safety can get over the top. All you're going to do, when you push me inside, I'm going to wind back out. Hopefully we got somebody to the flat to hold him because if we don't, he going to keep sinking. He got his eyes inside.
Starting point is 00:37:11 That's why they always try to follow you inside, Joe, in the cover two. Yeah. They want to keep their eyes on the cornerback. And if anything is coming this way. So that's why we want you to go outside to turn his back to it. Because if we're running something that way, he don't get no kill shot. Or if we got something seeking in the hole. But a lot of people don't understand that, bro.
Starting point is 00:37:31 There's a reason. There's a rhyme and a reason why we do it. Every route, there's a rhyme to it. Yeah. Everything we do on one side, there's a reason why we're doing it on the other side. And I just need guys to understand that concept. If guys understood the concept, it's like, okay, now, I see why we doing this.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Yeah, it makes sense. Go ahead, though. Ms. Shield just stopped, Ms. Scott. She knocked out? What round? Maybe it's round five or six. One of them. I'm not sure which one.
Starting point is 00:38:03 She too much, that's your man. They better start playing with Chloe. She too much. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's nice. I mean, you got to realize she won two gold medals. She ain't just picked this up. This ain't no hobby for her.
Starting point is 00:38:17 This ain't what she was, you know, you know what? I can fight. You know what I think I want to do? I think I want a box. Not what she is. She's trained. But, but she came down like two weight classes.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Hell, I think she came down a couple weight classes. Yeah, I think after what she, what, 140, 145? I think she had to lose some significant amount of weight to be able to. She just, what, what she fought, oh, Joe? She just fought. She fought, oh, girl. friend Sean what was that you followed her about four five by four five months ago yeah so you know you just take about take a couple of weeks off oh Joe and go right back to care right back to
Starting point is 00:38:56 work yeah damn um you okay hey I ain't gonna lie man boxers them some of my favorite athletes because I'm a discipline of some of the I ain't talking about you and some of the discipline hey the discipline that they carry you know because as a boxer bro it's you in that damn ring That's it. You know, yeah, you got a corner, but hell, you ain't got no damn teammate for real. You got to go right there and perform. Hey, this ain't tag team wrestling when you got another guy in your corner. You can tag his ass, tag her ass in a hop.
Starting point is 00:39:28 It doesn't work like that. Hey, and when you get beat, when you get beat on, you don't hear them anyway. Man, what? Tie him up. Tie him up. Tie him up. Hey, I'm trying to untie his shoe so he can tie his own self up. Bad please.
Starting point is 00:39:47 What? Hey, that was a good knockout. I don't know what round that is. But she found, look, for somebody that's as trained as here, she doesn't knock, I wanted to knock people out. Yeah, well, you just got,
Starting point is 00:40:00 you just got one. You got one. Well, I'm damn sure I'll go back and look because I'm taping the fight. I bought the zone package. Yeah, I did too, man. I bought, spend four and fit it all with that fight. Damn.
Starting point is 00:40:11 For the rest of the year. So after the show, back and I was go fast forward to the fourth the film round. Hey, you must have did something annually. You must did the annual. I did. I did. I did.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Month to month, me. I ain't doing annual. Hey, I got to see what's going on. Man, all the fight. You got, guess what, Joe? What's that? You know what you call them coming up? Canelo and Beale.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Yeah, October 31st. October 31st. You got Ryan Garcia coming up. So you're going to spend more money to get in the fight to fight. not what I did. Hold on. Don't forget, we got Roly Tiafomo. Roll it in Tiafimo.
Starting point is 00:40:50 I've seen all that on that, too. Exactly. And guess what? You're going to pay Monday. You're going to pay money. Fight to fight and going to spend more than what I just spent. Hmm. Now, look at you.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Five fights right there. You're going to watch them all. I bet you. And that's in the next two months. The last fight is, it's Canelo and Meeley, October 31st. Halloween. And that's the last big fight?
Starting point is 00:41:18 Well, that ain't the last one, but I'm just saying in the next two months, they got some big fights. Man, I was going to go to a Halloween party. You were going to a Halloween party? Yeah. Who are you going to dress up and be? Who are you going to be? Well, what, that's the whole point.
Starting point is 00:41:32 I'm going to dress up. You don't know who I am. Yeah, that's the whole thing. Oh, Joe, we should, you know what? Next year we'll have us a Halloween party. We'll have a nightcap Halloween party. Hold on. You're talking about next year?
Starting point is 00:41:51 Yeah, why we can't do it this year? Because we got the show. Because guess what? Hold on. Halloween next to the 31st will be a Sunday. Damn. Yeah, we got plenty time. And then guess what?
Starting point is 00:42:02 The following years, we need Halloween to be, we need Halloween to follow on the Tuesday. Halloween to follow the Friday. Follow we need to follow. Because if it falls on, if it falls on a Monday, they have it that Saturday. If it falls on the Tuesday, they're having the previous Saturday of Friday night.
Starting point is 00:42:21 So we stuck anyway. But I like Halloween. Even though we didn't have Halloween growing up, you know, we have steal a pillowcase, throw the pillowcase over your damn head, you were the ghost. Everybody was, what? Man, there's nobody had on their money
Starting point is 00:42:34 to buy them on their mask. But you was a ghost. He was a ghost. Everybody was a ghost. Hey, I have to celebrate Halloween with the kids. Obviously, they love to dress up and do they want to. For me, Halloween, I just like to see what Heidi Clum is going to be.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Heidi Clum to me is my highlight of. Heidi Clune? Yeah. To see what she's going to do. She's so creative. She'd be spending boo-cool bucks on that makeup. That's Hollywood. That's Hollywood makeup.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Yeah. I can't sit that long, Ocho. Nah. Yeah, she said. Man, she'd be sitting, okay. She'd be sitting five, six, seven hours. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Hey, but it look good, boy. It does. It looks good. Damn, man. Yeah. I'm gonna give me something. I don't know what I'm gonna be. I'm gonna do the show.
Starting point is 00:43:23 I'm gonna do the show with a Halloween costume. Yeah, hey, I'm gonna do it too. I'm gonna come out in my full. Also, we're gonna dress up for Halloween on the show. We'll dress up for Halloween. I bet, I bet. Yeah, I got you. I'm gonna full, my mask, you know, my leather outfit, my glove.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Who you will be blade? No, no. No, BDSM. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What's that? The mask, I just show. What you mean?
Starting point is 00:43:49 What, Joe, you know what that is, Joe. That's the, what do you mean? He'll say, those masochers. You're like to tie people up and do your bond, you know, that, yeah, that, there. Oh, oh. Why are you trying to pretend like you don't know? You know exactly what I'm talking about, man.
Starting point is 00:44:03 The freakmaster. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's just, you know how when you play basketball, you got a toolbox. Yeah. I just got a toolbox when to come to that area, you know. I got you. I get you.
Starting point is 00:44:17 I got you. I got you. Hey, chat. Joe got your food. Man, what's that? And he seemed genuinely like, oh, my God. What is that? Listen, listen.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Listen, listen, listen. I'm not as experienced as you guys. So it's a lot of stuff. It's a lot of stuff that I'm learning on the fly. And y'all can't. Now, you're on the fly. Y'all. Hey, learning on the fly.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Listen, listen, I can't help that. I'm just learning on the fly, fellas. I'm asking questions. I don't know. But listen, just take notes. Okay, I got you. Go back and watch some of the previous shows and some of the things that shows you.

Starting point is 00:45:08 You can check. You could tell he was the only child because every lie he's told, every lie he told his mom believed it because there wasn't nobody there to tell him that he would lie. I didn't already know how that work. I wouldn't, hey, as a kid, I wasn't no lie though. I didn't have to lie. I ain't like, I ain't no lie.
Starting point is 00:45:26 The real fact that he just said that, that's a lie right in the other thing. I'm telling y'all, bro. I'm telling y'all. But that's all good. That don't make you no bad brother though, Joe. Yeah, I know. See, you know what? I noticed how y'all too.

Starting point is 00:46:23 I ain't trying to do nothing. I'm going to have to sit on there and get no makeup done for no two, three hours. I'm telling you all that now. Oh, you're not doing no real costume. Yeah, I'm going to do one, but mine, yeah. He's going to be what you call him. He's going to be a, uh, uh, uh, uh, predator.
Starting point is 00:46:36 That's a good. A good. Hey, boy, remember that year of Halloween, Jordan Clarkson did the Edwardsons? Yeah, that was on. Man, think about all the makeup of that yoga had to put the skin up on there. Yeah, that thing was nice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:52 I mean, you're going to sit that long, but I ain't got, I ain't going to lie, I ain't got that kind of patience, man. You've been, I mean, just think about like Eddie Murphy when he did the clumps. How long he had to sit up on the makeup, man? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And do all the damn? Every day.
Starting point is 00:47:08 And he do. Hey, now he's doing one day, one day he's doing grandma, one day he's doing mom, one day he doing pop, one day he's doing brother, one day he's doing, you know, clump. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. It takes a lot of work. Oh, buddy love.

Starting point is 00:52:18 Ravens dominated the entire game. Eagles offense was non-existent, despite most of the starter sitting. Ravens, 31 first down to Eagles, 6. Jacoby Lane, Eagles rookie, looked like a real weapon. Thoughts on Jesse Mentor. Jesse Mentor, who is the new head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Considering Harbaugh had been there were 18, 19 years,
Starting point is 00:52:44 this is the first time in a very long time. There's a generation that don't know, anything else but John Harbaugh. Yeah. And now Jesse Menlo steps in. He seemed like they play really well. Lamar didn't play. Uh, but I thought they looked, I thought they looked good. I thought they looked good, given the fact, uh, uh, new regime, the new, because a lot of the guys there was up under the old regime, new voice in your ear, new expectations, even higher expectations. Lamar's like, y'all did to go and break me off. And not, you know, I can help
Starting point is 00:53:17 y'all meet them expectations. Yeah, absolutely. Hey, hey, uh, and Joe. They got damn Jacoby Lane, boy. Yeah, he looked good. But he's gonna be one of them ones. He up next. He's like him and him and Devonte.
Starting point is 00:53:34 But they got another, hold on. Didn't Hollywood? What other receiver? Didn't Hollywood Brown go there too? In Hollywood Brown and Philly? I thought he in Philly. Yeah, Hollywood. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:45 Yeah. Okay. You Colby Lane with the Ravens though. Yeah, he with the Ravens, that's how yeah. Yeah, well, he, they, boy, they need, they need a receiver bad. Even if you want to be one of them. They, they need, uh, him and Zay flight, where they got Zay, but the question is, what's number seven name, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:54:03 Shaw Bateman. Oh, so he got to give me something. Yeah. Oh, Joe, he got to give me something now. Come on now. He got you, he got you. He got to give me something. He just got, he just got paid too.
Starting point is 00:54:13 So he got you. Two years. Yeah. Zay got played. Okay. Zay, Zay, go. the two pro bowls, okay. Now they're bringing
Starting point is 00:54:21 Lane, who's a bigger, a bigger, a bigger receiver. You know, Lamar's going to like that. I heard, I heard Lamar talking. I didn't hear him talking. I didn't hear him talking. I heard him. So I'm sure they ask him about, I can almost certain, they ask him about his new wire receiver and something like that.
Starting point is 00:54:37 So I didn't really hear what he had to say. But he's a bigger receiver than flowers. Hopefully, that's what Lamar, that's what Lamar needs. And with Andrews, hopefully, out of that injury, he gets a couple of years. He's healthier. He's getting on up there in years.
Starting point is 00:54:51 I was surprised that they stuck with Andrews and let likely go. But hey, this is where we are right now. Derek Henry's going to be Derek Henry. Hell, Derek Henry might work for 2,000 yards not of that right guard up in New York. I don't know who that running back is, but I hope you ain't got no aspiration to rush
Starting point is 00:55:16 of a thousand yards. In New York? Yeah. Scatibu. Oh, scat, man, scat pack. I'm sorry. With that, with that,
Starting point is 00:55:29 he's going to have to break like four tackles in the back field. They just evaluate Bigfeller. He probably ain't going to play no significant minutes. You're the starter. The starter.
Starting point is 00:55:42 Big boy? Yeah. Yeah. But damn, it's the first preseason game. Can we evaluate him? Or you think they're going Just throw him out there.
Starting point is 00:55:49 I've been evaluating for the last four years. They just need a body. He's good and terrible. It should be a crime to be that big and sorry. Punishable by at least three days in jail. To be that big. Maybe you got an injury. Maybe you got an injury we don't know about.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Yeah, it's heart pump Kool-Aid. Dang. Chat, nope. Chat to see that man. Chat to see that man for the last three, four years. If you're a Raven fan and you've seen and you've seen, uh, watched any of their games, even if you're not a Ravens fan, if you've seen the Ravens play, y'all already know, 77 the right guard.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Hey, hey, hey, Lamargo had to use them damn wheels, ain't it, man? Yeah. Tell me, he's not a starter. What is it? He'll evaluate, man, they evaluate that young man. So when they go back and look at, when they go back and look at the film tomorrow, they're going to be like, oh, ain't no way in hell. start him out there game one hey he'll guard he should be guarding the water cooler
Starting point is 00:57:02 damn boy what what then I'm just I'm just laughing man he just man every game every so often but it is it's a it's a constant reoccurrence with the same individual over and over and over what happened hopefully he's fixed at you who How you say his last name? Fulele? Yeah. Hopefully he's fixed the issue. Huh?
Starting point is 00:57:39 You may please. Ojo, you have played in Philly? Um, preseason game, if I'm not mistaken. Matter of fact, Tio first game in the preseason when Tio was his first first game in Philly as he... So that had to be like 2004 then. Yeah, we played.
Starting point is 00:57:59 He went. touchdown down the sideline beat cover two McNally hit him with a whole shot I know yeah I think that I think that might have been my only time in Philly yeah well I play I play twice we played well we got 92 we got the break speed off us
Starting point is 00:58:18 I'll tell you all about that we lost that was the year that Jerome Brown ended up tragically passing in a car accident in 92 I think this happened in April of May just got it up the lot spun out lost control ended up tragically losing his life. So we played them there then. And then we played them in the preseason, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:58:36 Yeah. I played them again in 95. They beat us again. Then we played them in the preseason. I played it in the preseason up there. We ended up castles a game the field was so bad. Well, they didn't have turf? They had turf.
Starting point is 00:58:49 That was, if I'm not mistaken, it might have been veteran stadium. Wait, how would the field bad if you got turf? I don't get it. Man, I think it was buckling. It had divvice in it. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. It was bad, Joe, Ocho. We canceled, they canceled the game.
Starting point is 00:59:04 Wow. Yeah, I'm trying to say, did we take the train up there? I think we might have took the train. The cellar. You ever rode the cellar, Ocho? No, no, no, what's that? That's the Amtrak, the fast train. Nah, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:59:21 They get you nice food and everything. You know, we played cars the whole while up there, so the time just flew by. So when we played the giant, we'd always take the train up. And I think we played Philly. but yeah, we played the Philly, man, veteran stadium. And I think I think that was still a veteran stadium at the time. Man, that field was terrible. Hey, hey, I took that train.
Starting point is 00:59:43 You're talking about, though, when I was playing in Brooklyn. We had a blizzard. It was a blizzard in New York, and we played in D.C. Against the Wizards. So we had to catch that train back to New York. And it was quick, but you're right, boy, it's nice. It's nice. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:58 It's nice. See, Ocho, we can do stuff like that. We can go to New York, get their seller, take it to D.C., take it to Philly. Oh, yeah. How long, how long that ride be? Probably about an hour. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:12 Oh, that ain't nothing. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Quit. But they get you food, I mean, they get you great food. Hey, quick couple card games I can kick y'all buddy in, you know what I mean? Man, oh, Joe, we could play, we could play, uh, we could play head up spades. It's however you want to do it, huh? You ever play head up?
Starting point is 01:00:30 You don't have to play head off phase? Yeah. Okay. I got, Hey, hey, I keep, hey, hey, I keep a pair of them little pearly things in my pocket, too, with them dots on them. Don't make no difference. Hey, hey, snake, I won't. I called a knife when they start rolling, Joe.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Hey, hey, you got to be careful. Anybody got their own dice on them now. Yeah, he might have them crooks. Yeah. I ain't got no crooks, but I grew up. I grew up with a family full of gamblers, okay? So it's in me, okay? I'll just let y'all know.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Hey, yeah, you got them crooks. You got them loaded dice, Joey. Some bad and something about to do bad. You got to keep about my money.
Starting point is 01:01:10 Man, do I look like the type of brother who walking around with some loaded? I ain't got to beat you boys with no loaded dyes. Man, you boys free out here. I know I can get y'all. Crooks look all kind of way. Come on, man. They look nice. Some of them look like they got three teeth in the head.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Some of them whibbing. Yeah. Crook. Ain't, ain't some. way a crook supposed to look. No, man, I ain't on road like that. Because see, where I'm from, we catch you, they probably never find you again.
Starting point is 01:01:37 They probably find you somewhere stank in somewhere. You know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah, if somebody beat hell out of you, you cheated now. And make you, and even though you only cheated one hand, make you give up all the money you got. Hello. Hello.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Make you give it up, give it all. Give your money and your life up, okay? Hey, yeah. You have to, man, you can't cheat. Hey. And people talk about, man, that ain't number $20. $20 to them is like $200,000. Hey, Uncle, Ocho, man, listen,
Starting point is 01:02:06 me and my, I got some family members, bro. We had a mean dice game in my career one day. Yeah, yeah. I'm talking about this real family, bro. I'm talking about over $20, Ocho. I had to talk these boys off the cliff for pulling out for pulling out of tools out on each other. $1.000?
Starting point is 01:02:21 I'm like, man, over $20, bro. Y'all is serious right now? Because it's the principal about a lot of things, bro. Yes, sir. You have to do it right. Yeah. Hey, hey, it's so funny. That's why I had to stop hanging out.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Because I ended up, I, hey, man, here. Here, here, $200 for you, $200 for you. Nah, shop, it ain't even bought the $200. It didn't even want $200. Right. I gave more money than what they were even gambling. Hey, it's the principal. It's the principal, huh?
Starting point is 01:02:46 Yeah. It's the principle, bro. Hey, hey, if a dude feel like you didn't cheat him out of his money, okay, well, $5, 10, I'm talking about $20. I'm talking about $20 on your old show, those folks ready to lose their life, man. Yeah. Will.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Hey, you know it's so funny, y'all talk about a dice game and it made me think about one of my favorite movies. I, chat, I'm not sure what the age group, but the chat is. Some of them might remember, but ask your parents about the movie, Stormy Weather. You remember Stormy Weather, Un? I don't either. I don't either. I don't either.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Yeah, Stormy Weather is a funny game about little Joe Johnson, about gambling. He had a problem with gambling, you know? Yeah. Ethel Waters is in it. Lina Horn is in it as well. And I never forget, them run them dice, them tricky dice. And I mean, it's a great movie, man, about the-load of Dive Crook. And Lodd-Dy-Cook about, you know, the devil and the Lord and do them right.
Starting point is 01:03:37 And, oh, man, it's a good, I don't want to tell it. But, chat, if y'all ever have a chance, look at the movie Stormy Weather. Obviously, it's black and white. It's way back in the days. You'll really, really enjoy it. You'll really, really enjoy that. People kid you about their money, man. People work too hard for their money to have somebody cheat them out of it.
Starting point is 01:03:55 They do something. They'll do something. They'll do something. They'll hurt you. Hello. They don't care. They don't care nothing about that. They don't care nothing about, man.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Man, that little bit of money, you can make that back. It's the principal of the matter. Hello. You could have made, you, instead of you cheat me out of my money, you could have made yours. But you felt the need to cheat me. Yeah. So I feel the need to do something bad to you.
Starting point is 01:04:16 I'm just telling you how it is. Yeah. I'd just, I'd be like, man, you know what? I'm right here. First thing, they're going to say, hey, shout a sharp, man, shut a shot of sharp. I had nothing to do with this. Shatter they pull out no stick.
Starting point is 01:04:27 I don't even take my round there. I already know why. They'll, hey, they'll shoot you a stick, you. Hello. Uh, yeah. One of the other. Yeah. They don't get you there.
Starting point is 01:04:43 They'll get you wherever. They see you in the streets, the grocery store at the uptown. They don't care. Yeah. Hey, Pittsburgh Panthers, the Carolina. of the Buffalo Bills, the bills win, 2914. Josh Allen first half looked like the real DJ Moore. Hey, DJ Moore caught once.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Hey, hey, come on this one. Hey, hey, come on this one. Hey, that would, come here. Hey, that would disson for you. Six of eight, a hundred level yards of touchdown Keon Coleman. Look good at the preseason start. Oh, Joe. Sir.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Josh Allen. I mean, what do you say? Hey. What do you say, man? Man, six, six, two 555, can run the ball. got a cannon for an arm. Yeah. He got the,
Starting point is 01:05:30 hey, he got the whole repertoire. But I, I don't know if I've ever seen a receiver, catch a pass, and call the DB from that and say, come here, I got something for you.
Starting point is 01:05:41 I'm going to save it for you. Come on, now. And he's been out for a while, though, ain't it? Who that? More, was he hurt or something? He was in Chicago. He came from Chicago.
Starting point is 01:05:52 Oh, yeah. But you got to realize he originally was drafted by the Panthers. Yeah. Oh, okay. So he feels some type of what he feels a Okay, that's why he was out there acting like that. I said that boy got a little spunking than they in.
Starting point is 01:06:04 He was hot now. He were hot. Y'all had a nerd to let me go. Yeah, let me show you something. I definitely wasn't calling nobody out. I might have ran a few over, Joe, but I damn sure tried to catch him off guard. I haven't let you know I'm coming to rob your house.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Yeah, yeah. Oh, Joe. Yo. I've seen your boy Keon Coleman, get you my nice little TD, huh? Oh yeah, yeah. Listen, Key, all it is for Key, man, staying locked in and being consistent. That's all to come down to. This is the make-a-break-up year from a young bull, man. As a fact, this year is a make-a-year for two people, two receivers that I love, that I like. I like watching that I know they are capable of being top players in his league. As Xavier Leggett and Keon Colman, this is speaking a break year up. And for Keon, he can be a very vital piece to the Buffalo Bill's success. not just during the regular season, but I'm talking about in the postseason, too.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Josh Allen going to need it, Motto. Oh, yeah, absolutely, absolutely. Listen, they got DJ, they got Keon, they got Shakur, who is really good, really solid, you know, in the slot. But they got a really good offense, man, really, really good offense. And then you got James Cook coming out of that backfield, man.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Yeah, all right. That thing is going to be defense. Yeah, yeah. They could, they could stop a nose bleed last year on defense, boy. Yeah. Well, that's what caught. Hey, hey, Joe, we was watching the game last year, Buffalo. I told Ocho, I said, it's going to cause this man his job.
Starting point is 01:07:42 He said, oh, you think so? I said, he's gone. You was right, too. Damn. I said, he's gone. It showed dead. Yeah. I said, that's why he's talking like he's talking at the game.
Starting point is 01:07:54 He knows it's over. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Joe Brady got him one under his belt, first one. You know, I thought they offense. Buffalo offense looked ready from the jump. And Carolina just looked very conservative, bro. But Buffalo looked like they were ready to play, man.
Starting point is 01:08:12 They looked high power today. They're going to need. Who would NFC, New England? They really got nobody to worry about with New England. Buffalo? Yeah, AFC East, New England. Yeah. Because they got
Starting point is 01:08:30 Who else in that division? Miami, Buffalo, New England, who else is that division? The Jets. Oh, like I said, they all got nobody to worry about it, but the Patriots.
Starting point is 01:08:44 They got nobody worry about it for the Patriots. That's it. That's it. But no, I agree, Ocho. Yeah. I think the thing for me
Starting point is 01:08:53 that bothered me about Keon Coleman is that hopefully, everything was a joke. You can joke like that if you're going to go out there put up number like Chase. Yeah. But you got there dropping passes and key, and anybody laughing?
Starting point is 01:09:07 That ain't no laughing matter. All that key, key, yeah. I got this, I got this jacket. Oh, y'all thought I bought this from the Ralph Lauren store. No, I got this from Ross. I got this from T.J.
Starting point is 01:09:19 Bro, no, nobody cared about that. That was funny now. And your press conference in the initial. Right. You better go out there and catch some balls. There's a time of the play. Ocho realized. Ocho wasn't making no plays.
Starting point is 01:09:37 Ocho can be keeping up with them, them antics. You can have antics if you're producing. You're getting 13, 14 hundred yards. You getting 80, 90 catches back then when Ocho play. Go ahead. Yeah, I ain't have a choice. Hey, Joe. What's up?
Starting point is 01:09:55 Boy, you know how good you got to be? You know how good you got to be to change your last name to a number? Yeah, man. Hey. Yeah, I'm just thinking about that. I guess the pissed didn't have fell off. The pissed him off finding me.
Starting point is 01:10:09 I changed my last name, Joe. I'm saying, Ocho, what, whoa, whoa, going through your head at the time when you were like, man, damn, I'm just going to change my name. Well, Joe, I did it in reference to celebrating Spanish Heritage Month, which is the month, you know, September. Yeah. I thought, I thought, I thought, oh, Cinco de Mayo's, but, yeah. But just, yeah. Hold on. Is that when the NFL celebrate?
Starting point is 01:10:35 Yeah. Yeah, September. It's Spanish Heritage Month, right? So I'm like, you know what? It'd be fun to go out there in September. We're playing the Falcons. I'm going to just put a little Ocho on the back, you know, and have some fun in the celebratory fashion for them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:49 It was like, oh, yeah, we're going to find you 50,000. So I appeal to fine. So I'm like, okay, cool. I didn't wear it in the game. I wore it in warmups. Yeah. Oh, they're trying just like the game. Joe, I got the, it was Merton Hanks too, huh?
Starting point is 01:11:06 They said, you know what? You're fine. It's uphill. That 50,000 left that check. I said, I got something for y'all. Damn. I waited to the offseason, and I changed my name for real as a FU to the NFL, and I put it on all my jerseys.
Starting point is 01:11:20 So at that moment, I wouldn't think about marketing and branding. But then I was like, you know what? If I keep born and I could turn this into something else. And then I had a whole new fan base that never watched football. They're like, I know who old to it. I ain't watched no damn bangles, but I know what the hell that is. Right, right. And so still to this day, I think I told when I did the World Cup in 2022,
Starting point is 01:11:44 I did the World Cup in 22. I'm all the way in guitar. And then people don't know nothing about no. You know, you got people from all over the world in general. And people are recognizing me all the way in guitar. I'm 10, 11, 12 years moving the game of football. But they know who Ocho Sinko is. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:02 That small window of opportunity of 11, 12 years I had in the NFL, I left such a huge mark outside of the game, but people that don't even watch it's crazy. And I kind of have to thank the NFL for finding me because they didn't. My name was still B.C. Johnson. And I wouldn't have most of the opportunities I have now. Mm. Yeah, you left a mark. What kind of Marky love,
Starting point is 01:12:28 Oh, boy. Well, that one thing about the Ocho, boy. That Ocho, everybody needs a friend like Ocho, because he'll take one for the team for you now. Man, that man needs help, man. Oh, man. The man, Ocho, Siko, Jasa. They just call him Ocho.
Starting point is 01:12:52 They don't drop the Cinco, they just call him Ocho now. Hey, that's it. I ain't heard nobody say, Chad, in a minute, what? Probably uh probably uh, uh, uh, uh, Cambodia. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, she said baby. She doesn't say Chad.
Starting point is 01:13:10 Yeah. And your, your ex. I guess you called you that when she got mad at, you know. Why he had to bring that out, Ocho? That's crazy. Man, you know, I'm just saying, man. I mean, I'm just saying, man. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:13:26 But it's all good, man. You know, hey, that's what I go by. I ain't got no night. Everybody called me baby. You know, I like, you know, I like, you know, they call me to something, you know, the hell of the household. That's what I like to be called.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Yes, sir, yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah. Look at it. Look at the head in the pocket, Ocho. You see it? Yeah, you see how old men? You got them old people out of your name.
Starting point is 01:13:57 How much you need there? They call you, they call you daddy. You see your head in the pocket? Joe think he's slick. Hey, Chad, Joe got your food, but he ain't got me food. You're not gonna pull the wool over my eyes. I know. Hey, Chad, Chad.
Starting point is 01:14:18 I know a slick one when I see one, but. Chad, they try to make me out to be the bad guys. But Chad, I already know. See, see, the people who y'all came fool is Chad. Now, y'all make a fool somebody else, but Chad ain't going for that. for that. They know what's going on. You might fool the chat, but you can't fool Ojo and I. Joe, you're trying to fool the chat.
Starting point is 01:14:39 How? They don't know no better. Because you're trying to come off with this calm, relaxed, the meaning, like you don't know nothing, like you're naive, the service. Yes, naivete. You know good and well. So what that means?
Starting point is 01:14:51 So what they call you on? So they call, oh, they call you daddy, huh? Hey, see, ain't nobody say done. I just say, we're going to leave it at that. Hold on. I like to be called ahead of the house. Keep it moving. So let me get some straight.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Just because I ask questions, that makes me, uh, uh, uh, uh, the bad guy. Yeah. Oh, man, y'all, y'all, y'all tripping, bro. Because you, you, you're asking questions to make us think. Did you already know the answer to? So I'm asking rhetorical questions. That would debate with you. Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Yes. I really ain't, though. When I asked out something, that's because I don't be knowing. I had to ask. You really know. Yeah. If I don't know, I got to ask, right? So why you had to say it?
Starting point is 01:15:31 So who's normally the head of the house? What you mean? Who normally had that house? You didn't have to say it. Oh, you like to be called. You like to be called out. You see what I'm saying? He's saying, don't you?
Starting point is 01:15:44 He's think he's slick. Chat, y'all, Joe got your fool. He ain't got me fool though. Hey. Where y'all's something? Nah. Yeah. Kenny Picky came in on the second half,
Starting point is 01:15:58 well, after the series for, Bryce Young. He was a 16 to 19, 92 yards, one snap, I mean one TD, and he took the majority of the snaps. Hey, hey, hey, huh? Yeah, he was 16 for 19 for 92 yards. Well, he was dinging and dunk in the whole damn game. That's it. Throwing swing passes the whole damn night. Hey, you got to stay in your comfort zone. You got to stay in your comfort zone. You got to stay in your comfort zone. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin unfiltered podcast. what you missed.
