Just get the ball to Marvin Harrison Jr., baby. That's all you got to do. He's playing good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Go ahead. I don't even know what to do with this. You all right? Delphine Diggs made the news today for a very interesting reason according to his asics i'm still hey hey i know steph man i'm telling you steph if i don't get my asics that you collab with i promise you you're gonna get what james harris gonna get i'm telling you i'm telling you i want my ace i wear I'm a ten and a half. It's being reported that his name's Stefan.
Starting point is 00:04:28 He stepped off in something. Wait. It's being reported that allegedly Cardi B cheated on Offset with Stefan Diggs while she was eight months pregnant. No! How we know? We weren't even there.
Starting point is 00:04:45 We weren't there. I don't know. You can't even there. We weren't there. I don't know. You can't believe that. You can't. I don't know if I, Ocho, now, your woman,
Starting point is 00:04:53 your wife, your significant other, your girl pregnant, that's one thing. Right. For eight months? Somebody else, girl,
Starting point is 00:05:00 I don't, I don't know that. Hey, I don't, I don't, I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I think it's just that.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Aruma. Steph wouldn't do that. I'm just saying. Well, hey, if that's the case, he got the right last name, Diggs, because he would dig it. I'm just saying, Ocho. My bad, Ocho. My bad, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:05:20 My bad. My bad. My bad. Ocho, my bad. I shouldn't bet. That's too soon. Too soon, Ocho. Too soon. Hey,, Ocho, my bad. That's too soon. Too soon, Ocho, too soon. That was a nice layup.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I just don't know, Ocho. I just don't know. Listen, I know Steph, man. Steph wouldn't do nothing like that, man. He wouldn't do nothing like that. He wouldn't do nothing like that.
Starting point is 00:05:47 That just, come on, man. I don't nothing like that he wouldn't do nothing like like that um like that just come on now i just i i don't i don't even like the rumor i don't i don't like the person that even started the rumor to really step on you know and assassinate his character like that anyway in the first place you trying but you trying my dog talk about he come on man, little bro don't even get down like that. You feel me? Eight months? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to move on. I'm going to move on fast.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Maybe if she wasn't pregnant. Okay. Now, that's a different story. That's a different story. You know? You know? Stefan Diggs is like, he's like the Zac Efron in his prime. You know?
Starting point is 00:06:24 All the women love him. You know? All the women love him. You know? You know, he's like the Zach like Zach Zac Efron in his prime you know all the women all the women love him you know all the women love him you know you know he's very fashionable he's charismatic
Starting point is 00:06:30 he has a good personality you know but he's shit you know you know he has his opportunities and can even if there's a
Starting point is 00:06:39 a goalie in net he can score you know he's one of those he can score so you know I He's 1-0. He can score. So, you know, I just don't see it based on the situation and the circumstance at hand.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Eight months? Nah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe two, he don't know. That's one thing. But eight? Nah. Nah. Yeah, Ocho, yeah, yeah. nah nah yeah ocho yeah yeah but hey listen step on step step on you know he gonna have bigger problems he gonna give he gonna have bigger problems if i don't get them goddamn asics oh okay shit i ain't got time man i've been working on these hands too
Starting point is 00:07:21 hey it's time for your favorite segment spellos fico are we spelling yeah oh hey get loose get loose well you know once i get loose is on that okay your first word is kerfuffle. Kerfuffle. Kerfuffle. It is a commotion or fuss. Ocho is always getting into a kerfuffle when he goes out. Kerfuffle. Kerfuffle? Kerfuffle. Kerfuffle. Kerfuffle. Can you use it in a sentence one more time please Ocho constantly gets into kerfuffles
Starting point is 00:08:12 When he goes out Ker ker kerfuffle Alright I've never heard this word before I didn't even know it was part of the English language But what I'm going to do Based off How it sounds is spelled I'm going to take a whack at it I'm going to take a whack at it like I'm going to do, based off how it sounds is spelled, I'm going to take a whack at it.
Starting point is 00:08:27 I'm going to take a whack at it like I'm Italian. Kerfuffle. K-E-R-F-U-P-P-L-E. Kerfuffle. You was close. K-E-R-F-U-L-L-E. Kerfuffle. You got to pronounce it right now.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I said kerfuffle. It sounds like you're saying kerpuffle. Kerfuffle. Kerfuffle. See, we're going to have to bring somebody on. You country. You country. So I'm thinking it was like puffle, puffle, and it was fuffle.
Starting point is 00:09:01 And I couldn't tell your accent. Okay. How about this? Egregious. Egregious? Egregious. That was such an egregious act. I had to respond. Egregious.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Okay, egregious. Oh, come on. A-G-R-E-G-I-O-U-S. E-G-R-E-G-I-O-U-s e-g-r-e g-i-o-u-s egregious oh I said a first yeah so it was e
Starting point is 00:09:33 yes e-g-r-e g-i-o-u-s egregious okay I put a instead of a instead of e so technically I kind of spelled it right no you didn't. But anyway, how about this one? Ubiquitous.
Starting point is 00:09:49 What? Come on, man. Come on. Am I pronouncing it correctly? Ubiquitous. Huh? Ubiquitous. Spell it for me real quick.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Hey, you. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Use it in a sentence real quick. Use it in a sentence. It's influence. Right. Hey, see, this is the problem with this word. His ubiquitous influence was felt by all the family. Ubiquitous.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Ubiquitous. Hey, most of the time when I had a spelling bee, when I had a spelling bee back in 1987 and I didn't like a word, I said pass. Okay. The word is ubiquitous u-b-i-q-u-i-t-o-u-s ubiquitous i'm curious you gave me a word to spell a word that i've never heard before a word that i didn't even know was in the english language a word that i have never even seen in the stars so how in the world was i supposed to get that? This is the easiest word you're ever going to get. Oh, Joe,
Starting point is 00:11:06 I will make sure you get this one, right? Okay. What is it? Bat cat. Gobbly gook. Gobbly gook. Got you.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Matter of fact, I'm gonna probably get it right. You said gobbly gobbly gook. I hope y'all not laughing at me because there's no way in hell y'all know any of these words outside of egregious. You want one more? Yeah, give me one more.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Give me one more. Give me one more. Give me one more. Give me one more. Give me one more. Give me one more. Whatever this is, I'm getting it right. Chat, this is for y'all. I promise you. I promise you I got this. I promise you. I got this right here. I got this.
Starting point is 00:12:16 I got this. Shit, I can't even pronounce this word here, Ojo. Ojo. E. O. F-O-M-E-R-O? Yeah, no. here, Ojo. E O Ephemeral? Yeah, no. Oh, Ephemeral.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Who? Ephemeral. Ephemeral? Ephemeral. So, Ephemeral Ephemeral Ephemeral Ephemeral Ephemeral So, ephemeral, ephemeral, e, e, no, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, e, I was right. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold,
Starting point is 00:14:48 connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. Starting point is 00:15:27 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask...
Starting point is 00:15:59 I'm Leon Nafak, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do.
Starting point is 00:16:36 To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, it's my turn now. I got something for you. Okay, now it's time. Up to exacts of revenge. It's time for Dunk on Up, Saints Edition. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:59 So, what, I went one fold? No, you went 0-4. So, you ain't giving me egregious? No. Okay. Okay, cool. I ain't gonna spare you either. Now I'm going on Saints edition. Which Saints player holds a franchise record for the most rushing yards?
Starting point is 00:17:28 Ooh-wee. Oh, man. Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm going to go Deuce McAllister. And you're absolutely wrong. It's Mark Ingram, who has 6,500 yards. How many Deuce got?
Starting point is 00:17:43 I don't know. I don't know. I don't have Deuceces information in front of me, but I know one thing. You got the answer wrong. All right. Number two. Second question.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Who was all-time leader in career receptions for the Saints? Ooh. I mean, it's pretty easy. His son plays now. Mm-mm. I mean it's pretty easy his son plays now damn what school did he go to? did he go to Illawamba? I ain't telling y'all that now
Starting point is 00:18:19 I ain't telling y'all that cause shoot with them words you just gave me for Spello I definitely ain't helping you Cause two, maybe out with them words. You just gave me for Spello. I definitely helped you. I'm going to go Marcus Colston.
Starting point is 00:18:40 God damn it. Boy, you got that bitch right. Well, you were trying to throw me off. Talk about his son play that boy. Oh, Joe, you dirty. Oh, you got that bitch right, Wes. You trying to throw me off. Talk about a slum play now. Boy, Ocho, you dirty. I don't slum dog me in there. What are you doing? Yeah, the answer is Marcus Colson. He has 711 receptions.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Don't worry about it. Okay, you got one right. Ocho, why you do that though, Ocho? No, no, listen. I need you to go over five just like I went over five. No, I already got one, so I'm good. All right. So, okay, you to go 0-5 just like I went 0-5. I already got one, so I'm good. All right. So, okay, here we go.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Who was the Saints' leading rusher during the Super Bowl 2009 Super Bowl winning season? Who was the Saints' leading rusher during their Super Bowl run during the 2009 season? Oh, my goodness. It was Reggie. Pierre Thomas? Joy, where's that? cause I'm long in y'all know I plug it up y'all know I plug it up
Starting point is 00:19:32 once I get long in you looking at the chat www.com the chat answering for you they ain't got it it ain't even up there yet I answered before you hold on okay
Starting point is 00:19:46 here we go if listen chat chat listen to me y'all stop helping Unk out man putting answers in the chat it ain't in no chat
Starting point is 00:19:53 they ain't even got it up there yet they just put it up there I don't gave you the answer yeah you cause you got it from them okay here we go don't
Starting point is 00:20:02 don't look don't look at the chat okay which saints player holds a franchise record for oh hold on hold on which saints player has the most sex in franchise history yeah Yeah. Mm-hmm. I'm going to go Ricky Jack.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Oh, you're absolutely wrong. You're absolutely wrong. It was Cam Jordan. It's Cameron Jordan with 117 and a half sacks. 117 and a half sacks. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, here go your bonus. Here go your bonus.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Oh, you definitely ain't getting this. Which Saints player has the most punt return TDs in franchise history? You definitely ain't getting this. Because this throwback... Oh, man. What's little dude... Oh, man. I can see little dude. Man, he's smart. I can't think of dude name.
Starting point is 00:21:03 I know who it is. I can tell you what number you wore though 84 how you know I think his last name is Louis come on Ocho what is it oh you want the answer yeah oh the answer is Reggie Bush
Starting point is 00:21:29 poor return touchdowns yeah how many got oh I ain't got the number how many got but the answer is Reggie Bush alright so you only got two right which one Ocho you skipped one I did oh yeah yeah So you only got two right. What'd you want? Oh, Joe, you skipped one?
Starting point is 00:21:46 I did. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on, hold on. Here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go. Here we go, here we go. Here we go. Which Saints player holds a franchise record for most career interceptions?
Starting point is 00:21:58 Oh, you definitely ain't getting this. You know how I know you ain't getting it? Because I don't even know who this player is uh huh don't look at the chat I see you looking down you're looking down a little too long chat y'all don't answer chat don't answer
Starting point is 00:22:18 most interceptions it's gotta be way way back oh yeah way back probably the 1800s too. Man, the Saints became a franchise in like 60-something. Uh. I don't know. Darren Sharper.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Wrong. The answer is Dave Wehmer, who has 37 career interceptions, which is a Saints franchise record. Hell no. I definitely wouldn't get that. Yeah, you sure wouldn't. All right, you got two right.
Starting point is 00:22:58 You got two right. Yeah, you got two right. Really? Hey, that fellow tonight was crazy man I ain't but in words I mean I was real I was real aggressive with egregious too I'm not sure why I said A instead of E
Starting point is 00:23:14 damn Mike Thomas said George Pickens career low snaps were part of the Steelers plan and the Cowboys lost Tomlin told reporters we just wanted to minimize his reps in an effort to get more productivity we're trying to keep rep management in terms of
Starting point is 00:23:42 totality of the big picture he wasn't less of a focal point in terms of our intentions of what we wanted to do offensively. It's no different than we've minimized some of the snaps of our D linemen like Cam Hayward. It's about snap management. There's no underlying story, to be quite honest with you. Pickens was on the field of 34 of a possible 58 snaps.
Starting point is 00:24:04 He recorded three catches for 26 yards. The lack of playing time for Pickens was especially surprising considering the fact that he amassed the season-high 113 receiving yards in Pittsburgh's 27-24 loss to end it in Week 4. He also committed a turnover in that game, fumbling the ball in the second quarter. What you think, Coach O? Something ain't right. Because you don't need to minimize no breath for somebody that young. Man, dude, 24, 25 years old.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I get Cam Hayward. Cam Hayward is in his 30 as a defensive lineman. That's a lot of collisions. You talking about a wide receiver that's 24, 25 years of age? Yeah. Something going on behind closed doors we don't know about. That's it. He's trying to get through.
Starting point is 00:24:48 He's trying to get through to him. And there's only one way to get through to him. I mean, two things are going to happen. Either he's going to fold or he's going to show up to the party. And the only way to get your attention, if he ain't going to take your money, I'm going to take your reps. And if taking your reps don't work, you know what's next after that. I agree.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I agree. Ocho, now it's time for Q&A. Q&A, Q&A, Q&A, Q&A. Q&A, Q&A, Q&A. Q&A. Kimberl Wood Jr. said, oh, my question is if you had an NFL team,
Starting point is 00:25:35 who would be your starting wide receivers? Mine would be Ocho, and I enjoy watching 85 play every Sunday. Love. Yeah, yeah, That's me. Kemper, are we using current wide receivers or I get to pick any two wide receivers? Well, obviously, you need to be picking your co-host. So that's one receiver down right now. I don't know who else you're going to go with. Nah.
Starting point is 00:25:57 You need to be picking me. You complain for the ball too much. I don't never say nothing. Yeah, you do. No, I never. I don't bother my quarterback because I'm going to be open. I got to take Jerry. Any time you don't take Jerry, you got to be out your mind.
Starting point is 00:26:18 And you know what? I'm going to give my brother a spot. I'm going to let Jerry play the X. My brother going to play the Z. Even though theyerry play the x my brother gonna play the z even though they both play the z i'm gonna have to move jerry to x my brother gonna play the z who you got on show you gonna start to and randy or to and jerry you and jerry you and randy you and t.o let's let's get back to the question that was asked you so you pick Jerry and you pick Sterling and you got me sitting on the other side of this camera right now
Starting point is 00:26:48 and you said that with a straight face and you ain't even hesitate you ain't even acknowledge to even put me in I'll put you to slot I'll let you be to slot you gotta play to slot I'm a monster I belong on the outside you got two choices you can play to slot or you can play to bench
Starting point is 00:27:04 now which one you want to play? Hey, so, I mean, my two, you know how I feel about them two boys, man. I love Jerry. I love all Jerry has done. But I'm going Tio and Moss, man. I'm going Tio and Moss. Because, look, somebody going to get left off. You left off Megatron.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Yeah. I like Megatron, too. Somebody going to get left off. Yeah, butatron yeah i like megatron too but again somebody gonna get left off yeah but listen maulson teo i know people love look at the numbers forget them numbers i'm talking about i've seen that thing up close and personal with my own eyes megatron too but man something about that man something about randy ma and teo we would never ever ever ever see nothing like that again i'm telling you never you you you think you're gonna see what jerry did again no absolutely not because even we even with the addition the addition of actual game yeah it's it's impossible because for one the level of talent and skill is so much greater now.
Starting point is 00:28:07 So it's impossible unless they throw the ball to you to every goddamn play. Yeah. Every goddamn play. And you would have to play every goddamn year. That's what makes Rice's number so impressive. Rice came in in a running era. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Oh, yeah. Yeah. Can you imagine what his numbers would be if you gave him Montana and Steve Young, who he had for the majority of his career, Can you imagine what his numbers would be if you gave him Montana and Steve Young, who he had for the majority of his career, and they threw the ball like they throw it now? Now? Oh.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Boy, it'd be insane. Stephanie Warfield said, which quarterback y'all taking to lead your team to the Super Bowl? Sammy Darks? How about Sammy Darks and Patrick Mahomes? Bro, y'all stop calling Sam D Bowl. Sammy Darts. How about Sammy Darts and Patrick Mahomes? Bro, y'all stop calling Sam Darnold Sammy Darts. He's earned that nickname this year,
Starting point is 00:28:55 now. Nah, Ocho, you gotta get some time. I mean, I ain't start calling Mahome boy Mahome boy out to jump. You gotta get like 10 weeks in. Right. You can become a homeboy or at least a year. So he can't become Sammy darts until week 10.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Peyton Manning didn't become the sheriff in one year. Yeah. Yeah. That was a good nickname too. Yeah. So we just had, we just had that nickname right now. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Lord have mercy. Ocho, you didn't become Ocho in one year. It took you like eight, nine years because you became Ocho. Yeah, I became Ocho when I think you're five. I needed to reinvent myself. I had to think about, I had to think long-term. I had to think longevity. How can I extend this brand long after the game of football is gone? Because the NFL, you know, they market and brand who they want to. So I had to take matters into my own hands.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And that's what I did. And I think I did a pretty good job because in college, I was a marketing and branding major. See, a lot of y'all didn't know that when I was at Harvard. Yeah, I was a marketing and branding major. What, you was on a farm branding cattle and hogs? I did that, too. I did that, too. At the Dade County Youth Fair, I worked in the petting zoo. Boss Lady said, all month for this birthday, check. Shan Ojo, can y'all wish all Libras and Scorpios and the best boss with the southern sauce.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Boss Lady, happy B-Day month. Shan, check your social media for a message. Boss Lady, happy birthday. All Libras, I guess Libras, that means Libras and Scorpios. I guess they're October. I mean, does guys, I mean, does guys really know anything like astrological? What's that? Astrology?
Starting point is 00:30:49 Yeah, I know. I'm a Cancer. I think my brothers are Aries. My sisters are Leo. That's about the extent of it. I don't really know like Scorpio or Sagittarius or Capricorn. I mean, I know this, but I don't know what month. I don't know nothing about that
Starting point is 00:31:05 astrological stuff. Yeah. So, Boss Lady, happy birthday. Happy birthday, twin. Happy birthday month. You say you're celebrating the whole damn month. I don't know what's, you know, what's so good about you going to celebrate the
Starting point is 00:31:22 whole month. You better get your butt back to work. But I will. I'll check my social media. Stephanie Warfield said, Casey is a B tonight. Congrats, Royals chief. Who that? Who that?
Starting point is 00:31:39 Who beat them Saints? 5-0, baby. Hold up. The Yankees? Oh, yeah. The Royals beat the Yankees? Oh, yeah. The Royals beat the Yankees? Come on, Yank. I need the Yankees and the
Starting point is 00:31:51 Dodgers in the World Series. Wait, they won the series? No, no, no, no. It's 1-1. Oh, okay, okay, okay. It's 1-1. Leo DeRose said, hi, everyone. Nightcap, hope you guys are all doing well. I have a question for um you often talk about your adult college life career and how you what were you like in high school
Starting point is 00:32:11 uh clown uh i didn't i mean that's why i was probably 48 that That's why I didn't go to a big D1 school because I bulljabbed around, you know, making people laugh. I mean, look, obviously, you know, growing up the way we grew up, you had to work. But, you know, I wanted to, you know, have fun in school and go home and, you know, take care of my granny. You know, my brother left in, what, 83, graduated in 83, so basically, my sister's eight years older than me, my sister's dating, so basically, and I had an aunt there, my aunt
Starting point is 00:32:51 Jane was there for a couple years, and then she got married and left, so it's kind of like me and my grandmother a lot of times, but yeah, I didn't take school, at least high school, nearly serious enough. And then when I realized it was too late because them grades wasn't looking too good, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:33:12 Yeah. I tell people all the time with my grades, I couldn't have got in prison. They'd have fucked me on the entrance, Ocho. I couldn't have even got in there. That's how bad my grades were. I ain't going to mention my grades in high school, but I'm going to tell you this. I graduated high school late. I'll tell you that.
Starting point is 00:33:30 How you graduated high school late? Because I didn't graduate on time. Like I graduated... You had to go to summer school? I graduated about two, three months. Yeah. Yeah, dang. Yeah, but I was bad. Boy, I was bad.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Boy, I wasn't going to class. And high school? So dang, so you went to the 13th grade, huh? No, I ain't do all that. I ain't stay back another year. I said graduated late. Made for This Mountain is a podcast that exists to empower listeners

The podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but
Starting point is 00:35:14 ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide and hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good
Starting point is 00:35:58 Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Leon Nafak, co-creator of Slow Burn.
Starting point is 00:36:37 In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, Elcho, you was in the same classroom? Nah.
Starting point is 00:37:22 First period through sixth period, don't you in the same classroom K through 12 that joke ain't never changed he ain't never seen a different classroom hey listen I was smarter than the whistle though smarter than the whistle
Starting point is 00:37:34 I just I wouldn't I just wouldn't apply myself because I felt I had enough talent and I ain't need school but my grandma told me say boy I'm telling you
Starting point is 00:37:44 you're going to keep slipping through the crack I'm telling you you're going to keep slipping through the crack. I'm telling you, you're going to keep slipping through the crack. And I just wouldn't listen. I wouldn't listen until I got to goddamn Santa Monica. And I was ineligible that second
Starting point is 00:37:57 year. And my back was against the wall because all I had was one year left because I had to play. I had to get my grades together and play one more year at Santa Monica. And all I had left was a one-for-one, huh? So either you're going to do it the way your grandma always said it, or you're going to make it to the NFL.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Man, shit. I never forget. Coach Collins, Charles Collins is responsible for me going to summer school, getting to and from summer school, getting my grades together, having to go to Southwest College, take classes at Southwest College, going back to Santa Monica, taking classes then just so I could play that following year at Santa Monica. Man, thank God Dennis Erickson offered me that one for one. That one for one at Oregon State.
Starting point is 00:38:38 I say, man, God, if you just get me, get me on the big stage so I can showcase my talent and skill, that will take everything else. I'm going to do it my grandma way. It's one time. And lo and behold, the one time I did it her way, it all worked out how it should be. Yeah. I barely made it. Mm-hmm. But you made it.
Starting point is 00:39:04 Yeah, yeah. J.J. Carver said relationships change because people change. You don't always have to find someone new. Relationships take having those hard conversations, sitting down to say, hey, we've grown distant. Let's build something new. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:39:20 I know about them uncomfortable conversations. I love them. I love them I love them tell me everything tell me how you feel don't lie to me I like them because sometimes what it what it can do those uncomfortable conversations it help you stop wasting your time too it help you stop wasting your time too now. Come on. It does Ocho. It's funny because a lot of times when women get fed up, they've been fed up.
Starting point is 00:39:56 They're not just fed up now. They've been fed up for like months or a year. They check out up here first, huh? They check out up here first and they? They check out up here first and they don't move on. They don't transition until the next play is already in hand.
Starting point is 00:40:12 You don't leave your job unless you already got something already behind you. There are some now. Some people leave a job and ain't got another job lined up. You know, God will make a way. Nah, he said don't be no fool though. That's what God said.
Starting point is 00:40:29 But a lot of times, you know, people have things. And I think Ocho, like, like a woman, like a woman won't just willy nilly file divorce. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:38 A woman, she don't talk to her girlfriend. She don't talk to her parents. She done met with a lawyer. She done meticulously. Everything is strategic. Everything is strategic in that they do uncle yeah everything they don't they don't make rash decisions without planning things out ahead of time okay this is the plan this is plan a okay plan a doesn't work this would be plan b so plan b don't work well we gonna falter and go in the c
Starting point is 00:41:02 either way everything is mapped out. Like when you're robbing a bank, when you robbing a bank, you just don't walk in there and say, give me all your money. Yeah. No, you got. OK, you don't walk. You don't take the whole place. Yeah, man. How many?
Starting point is 00:41:16 Hold on. They got this many cameras. OK, they only got one security guard. He old. I can really overpower you. I needed to. Let's see. What's the talk? What's the top what's the
Starting point is 00:41:25 closest police station how often the police pass through the area to get a great car is there more than one way in how long is it going to take me to get to the interstate from where i am because i need to get out of this congested area yeah Like that. Very meticulous. Very strategic in all that they do. Now, a dude? Us? Babe, hey. Like old boy told his wife when he got hold of sunshine. Baby, I ain't never coming home.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Coming home. That's it. Right off the bat. Women that like that. You ain't think about nothing. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Nicholas Tillman said, what up, Uncle Nocho? Love the show and the content. Can you give my wife Raven? And our shout out, it's our fifth wedding anniversary. Keep up the great work, fellas.

Willie got a new quote for Ocho the book. It's Ocho's voice. What you want is just the other side of what you don't like. Sips La Portier. That's it.
Starting point is 00:43:00 What you don't want is what you don't like. No, what you don't want is what you don't like. No, what you don't want. What you want is just on the other side of what you don't like. That's nasty. Yeah, that's a good one. Diane West said, hey, will Jackson State be on your stop for your HB tour with First Take? I'm not sure if you guys are going to be in this cycle. I know they're trying to work out one more right now.

Starting point is 00:43:54 not sure. I don't know if Jackson State's going to be on this go-round. Maybe probably 2025, but I'm not sure. That's beyond my purview. They just tell me, Shannon, we're doing this HBU tour. We'd like for you to participate. Okay But I'm not sure. That's beyond my purview. They just tell me, Shannon, we're doing this HBU tour. We'd like for you to participate. Okay. I'm there.
Starting point is 00:44:11 But that's my level of involvement. Tramiel Pralo said, you have to get your cognac and cigars to Louisiana. Actually, we're going to be, we definitely are going to be one of the states. If I'm not mistaken, I think in the next month or so, we're going to be, we definitely are. It's going to be one of the states.

We're definitely planning on being, we're definitely going to be active, activated by the time we hit for the Super Bowl. But I think it's coming. I think if we're not there,
