Higgins posts cryptic message ahead of free agency. He took to Instagram and posted an image of him saying, priorities are rare, options are everywhere. The caption five, just out here working. Ocho, if you're the Bengals, what do you do? Reports came out that the Bengals have only four staff members working in the scouting department
Starting point is 00:06:08 the fewest in the entire league I don't know I told you how I feel I told you how I feel I understand what the fans want the fans always are going to be loyal to their team
Starting point is 00:06:25 and always want the player to play. I love T. T is deserving of what he should get. I know T is going to say all the right things. Joe Burrow is going to say all the right things publicly. Jamar Chase is going to say all the right things publicly. Joe Burrow is not taking less. He didn't take less when it was time to get paid.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Jamar Chase ain't giving you no hometown discount. He's going to get the money that he deserves and it's warranted. But that's the thing, Ocho. You notice that? Let me finish. Now, them quarterbacks, I mean, I don't got no problem.
Starting point is 00:06:57 If that's what you want to do, but why do they always expect us to get, why do fans expect millionaires to give billionaires a discount y'all always talk about all the wealth these guys are super i mean whatever the wretches play whoever has made the most money as an nfl player it's not even a tenth of what the owners not even close that's what I don't get Ocho and the players
Starting point is 00:07:30 and what the team will do they'll frame it well he wouldn't give us a discount so he's not a team player they don't want to win not one in the NFL not one of them gave these networks a discount oh no at all Not in the NFL, not one of them gave these networks a discount.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Oh, no. At all. Listen, I'm going to teach you to get what you deserve, son. Absolutely. And listen, if you hit the market, not only is he going to get more than what... If he hit the market, he ain't coming back. They better get something done. They better get something done in the first... They better have...
Starting point is 00:08:01 Because you know you have that Ocho, you have that... What do they call it? That period where they could I forget the name of it. Where you can talk to guys. I forget what that negotiating window is called.
Starting point is 00:08:16 But anyway, they better do something, because if he visits another team, he ain't leaving the building. Hey, you know what they finna offer young bull man you know they overpay when you hit the market right? Absolutely because I got to because I got to get you
Starting point is 00:08:32 out of that situation. Why would you leave for incomparable money unless it's really bad. Maybe you just want to be out but for the most part they overpay because they really want you out of that situation you got to uproot your family. You got to put kids in school if you don't have even if you don't have kids you know your family they're used you out of that situation. You've got to uproot your family. You've got to put kids in school. Even if you don't have kids, you know, your family, they're used to being in that area.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Because you've been there for at least a minimum of three to five years. This is the funny thing. Tampering. Yeah, the tampering. So you've got that tampering window, Ocho, where you can have conversations. If I'm the Bengals, if I want them, I've got to tamper early and often. It's the funny thing, though. Even if they do overpay, if he does hit hit the market it really wouldn't be overpaying
Starting point is 00:09:08 you're paying for exactly what you get every penny he's worth every last penny every last penny and he deserves it you know I talked about playing childhood dreams finally making it you know I know you want the band to stick together I know you want the band to stick
Starting point is 00:09:24 together but why you got to be the one to take less? You're just as deserving as everybody else. Why you got to be the one to, you know what? I'm going to be the, man, ain't none of that, man. No. No.
Starting point is 00:09:38 For this time around, don't you? I want a big piece of chicken. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? I like wings. I like short thighs. I like but I want the breasts. I want a big piece. Right. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? I like wings. Yeah, don't... I like short thighs. I like... But I want the breasts. I want the big piece. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Right. I want the daddy or the granddaddy piece of chicken now. Yeah. Listen, I would love for things to work out the right way
Starting point is 00:09:58 as a fan. As a fan. But I can compartmentalize and separate the two. I can separate the business side and fan, but I can, I can, I can compartmentalize and separate the two. I can separate the business side and actually, like I said, the side of me being an actual fan and wanting everybody to stay together, understanding that it's not possible because somebody is going to have to take
Starting point is 00:10:16 the short end of the stick. And it shouldn't be a player. But here's the thing, Ocho, fans don't understand that the players are business also. They only look at it from a, not all. I shouldn't say all or every, but a lot of fans only look at it from an NFL standpoint
Starting point is 00:10:30 that it's a business. They don't look at the players when they're doing business also. Yeah. And I've got to make the best decision because when a player, when teams cut players, the first thing they say, it was a business decision. We got to do what's in the best interest of the team.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Yeah. But when a player does what in the best interest of the team. But when a player does what is in the best interest of the player, a lot of fans label him selfish. He don't care about winning. Look what Brady did. Look what Brady. Different scenario. Let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, I saw what Brady did. How many of those players are going to get a 10-year, $375 billion contract when they retire? How many of those players' wives were making $30, $40 million? Do any of these players, I want to know the player
Starting point is 00:11:16 right now currently that his wife or girlfriend, significant other, makes that kind of money. That is okay. Oh, over down there in Kansas City, the tight end? Oh,
Starting point is 00:11:30 yeah. Funny that you say that, Ocho. The Chiefs have reportedly set a deadline for Travis Kelsey to make a decision regarding his NFL future. If Kelsey chooses to retire, the Chiefs wants to know of his decision around March 14th, according to a team source.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Based on that deadline, the Chiefs are going to give Kelsey a month to decide his future. Is this deadline normal? I don't know if it's normal, especially that soon, especially that soon after the Super Bowl. But I think they want to know what he's going to do rather sooner than later so they can look forward to what we're going to do next. What's the next steps we need to take? I would have thought they would have given someone, especially like Kelsey, based on what he's done over an extended period of time, they would have given him a little bit more grace
Starting point is 00:12:23 as opposed to rushing him to make a decision. Ocho, I'm running a football team. Never lose sight of that. Right, right, right, right, right. First of all, guess what happens in March? Free agency. Right. I need to know.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Do I need to make a trade? Hey, Atlanta, can I get Kyle Pitts from you? Okay. I've got to make a decision based on this football team. I can't let this thing drag out. Right. Remember, that's what Green Bay has got tired of. Brett Favre dragging it out, dragging it out.
Starting point is 00:12:57 They say, you know what we're going to do? Don't worry about it. You go ahead and do what you're going to do. We're going to take a quarterback. Same thing happened with Aaron Rodgers. Dragging it out, dragging it out, dragging it out. They said, don't worry about it. it yeah that's what they're doing here let me free agency let me evaluate let me look at some of these tight ends uh the guy from penn state there are a couple of them yeah what i've been reading there about five tight ends that could go in the first two rounds
Starting point is 00:13:21 let's see if we can get in position to get one of it yeah in the first two rounds. Let's see if we can get in position to get one of it. Yeah. In the first two rounds. Let's see if we can get in position to get one of them. Maybe Atlanta wants to get off Cal Pitt because outside of his rookie year, he's underperformed. One year he was hurt. Yet that is saying you end up tearing his knee. But now the last couple of years,
Starting point is 00:13:42 he hadn't been up to the Cal Pitt that we thought he would be. Let's see if Atlanta has grown impatient in wanting to part part ways that's how you got to run a team oh i can't wait to the empty dollar right i understand totally i totally understand so i i i i i i'm not surprised at this at all i mean to me i need honestly to me it's a soon. For someone regarded as one of the best to ever play the position. But I do understand the business side of it. We can't wait for you. Boy, they moved on from Tom Brady. They moved on from Peyton Manning. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Well, Tom, okay, you right. I'm on my way. Boy, hey, you done played this game too long, or you should have not known how it works. Yeah, you right. Where did Emmitt Smith finish his career? Arizona. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:28 The all-time lead in Russia. Tom Brady won six Super Bowls. He finished in Tampa. Peyton Manning, four MVPs, two Super Bowl appearances, one Super Bowl MVP. He finished in Denver. Yeah. Jay Rice.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Do I need to move anymore yeah Seattle yeah you right I'm just saying bro understand
Starting point is 00:14:51 Joe Montana Joe Montana finished his career in Kansas City City yeah I'm just saying understand the business
Starting point is 00:15:01 how it works the team will always do what is in the best interest of the team. This is why I implore the players, do what's in the best interest of you. Yeah. Because, hey,
Starting point is 00:15:14 they're going to do what's in the best interest of them. If a team will move on from Tom Brady, what other player, what can a player do to assure if Tom Brady couldn't do enough to stay in New England? That's crazy. Let that sink in. Tom Brady, they won 18 of 19 divisions.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Right. They went to nine Super Bowls. They won six. He's an MVP in four of them he's a three-time league mvp and they didn't give him the grace of retiring in that uniform what other player has there ever been before or after now you can retire early or they'll move on you before it gets too late every time I'm just saying hold on before next topic let me use the bathroom
Starting point is 00:16:10 go ahead no you're right nobody's safe Michael Irving says Brian Schottenheimer needs God to turn around the Cowboys let that sink in one of the all time
Starting point is 00:16:39 great Cowboy players lives currently still in Dallas bleeds blue and silver. Says that Brian Schottenheimer needs God to turn around Dallas. Yeah. And
Starting point is 00:16:57 Dak's over there talking. Well, Mike already said they're going to win the AFC next year. Dak said they're close. I mean, San Francisco is close to L.A. I ain't trying to walk it, though. Cowboys are not close to the Eagles. Even the fans in Dallas know that.
Starting point is 00:17:22 And deep down, the players know that. They're not close. Your offensive line isn't comparable. Your two-ski, your wide receivers aren't comparable. Your running back damn sure isn't comparable. Your quarterback, the difference between your quarterback, he might have better stats, but he doesn't play better in big moments. Your defense damn sure isn't better.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Y'all got one player. Y'all probably got one player on Dallas defense that will play for the Eagles, and that's Micah. Micah Lurvin says, Brian Schottenheimer needs God to turn the Cowboys around. What you think, Ochoa? Hey, Mike Mike shut up man
Starting point is 00:18:05 hey I mean the Cowboys Cowboys need some work especially defensively we know that there have been some games where they showed up
Starting point is 00:18:15 and showed out but it's all on Dak it's all on Dak this year baby it's all on Dak Dak is going to have to be the one to overcome
Starting point is 00:18:25 all the struggles. He got to. Whatever struggles they have on defense, Dak has to overcome that. Any issues on offense, Dak has to overcome that. Similar to what Mahomes does. Similar to what Mahomes does with the
Starting point is 00:18:42 Kansas City Chiefs. I'm not saying he's Patrick Mahomes. I'm just saying in order for the Cowboys to have success, Dak has to play that much better than what's around him. Does that make sense? Yeah, but when has he done that? Listen, I'm just telling you. People keep telling me Dak, telling me turnovers is not,
Starting point is 00:18:59 but that's who Dak is. If you go back and study Dak, look, he turns the ball over. I'm confused. who Dak is. If you go back and study Dak, look, he turns the ball over. I think, I'm confused. I'm confused by what people don't, don't,
Starting point is 00:19:12 they don't believe what they see. Oh, he gonna do it. Okay. Eight years is a large sample size. No,
Starting point is 00:19:20 that's nine years. 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22,
Starting point is 00:19:23 23, 24. So Dak's been in the league nine years. This is about to be his 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. So Dak's been in the league nine years. This is about to be his 10th year. Isn't that a large enough sample size to see what he is? Hmm. Hardest position in football, baby.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Hardest position in football for a reason. Ocho, check this out. Did you see the story today? A humpback whale swallows a man, then spits him back up. Check this video out, Ocho. Hey, I think this is what you would call a hump. Go ahead, let me see. It's a little baby humpback whale, too.
Starting point is 00:19:55 You heard me? I think that's what you would call a hump. Yeah? Yeah, man. Yeah. You see how little that humpback whale was? I mean, little is a relative term when you're talking about a whale. Something that's 40 tons. It's not a blue whale, but I mean, I think 30 tons is still pretty large.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Yeah. Yeah, I doubt that is. Yeah, I doubt that is. Man, I want to see the whale swallowing. It didn't. It was was too little he was a baby nah he had to be but see that's why I'm not going to be
Starting point is 00:20:34 in a kayak in the ocean oh listen one of the most beautiful moments you could ever have is be paddle boarding or kayaking with orcas and killer whales coming up underneath you. That's one of the, that's one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Oh, I can think of a better feeling in somebody's up under me. Yeah. Yeah. I can think of something more beautiful than being out there someday. I'm proud of all the kayak and some killer whales or, uh, whatever else,
Starting point is 00:21:09 whatever kind of whale. I can think of something better being up under me. That's just me chat. No, I don't know what I'm sure. Bad, please. Hey, you're right. Oh, Ocho I'm thinking that because when I was when she up under me all I'm thinking about the killer world free willy now what I'm thinking about right there
Starting point is 00:21:35 free willy hey right you shot out that was a good one that was a good one okay that was a good one made for this mountain is a podcast that exists to empower listeners to rise above their struggles, break free from the chains of trauma, and silence the negative voices that have kept them small. Starting point is 00:22:47 The podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
Starting point is 00:23:09 What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today.
Starting point is 00:24:34 The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction, those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali, and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster,
Starting point is 00:25:35 John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and me now on audible. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:26:18 A study date. Psychology found that 45% of men age 18 to 25 have never asked a woman out in person. The research suggests that the high risk of aversion driven by fears of rejection and social repercussions is a major factor in this trend. In contrast, 74% of women age 25 and below expressed a desire for more in-person approaches, pointing to a clear discrepancy between male hesitation and females' expectations. It all depends on the guy. It all depends on the guy. And listen, it's all about being self-aware.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Being self-aware based on who you are, understanding the type of woman you're able to get, you know, sometimes you out-kick your coverage. Sometimes as a man, you're in a position where you can out-kick your coverage based on what type of value you bring to the table. Understanding, being self-aware before you even approach certain type of women. Some people, you know, listen,
Starting point is 00:27:22 sometimes fellas, especially in the social media area, you can scroll the woman's Instagram that's what they're talking about Ocho they put me down I'm just saying in general I'm talking about
Starting point is 00:27:30 the self-awareness part scrolling the woman's Instagram and understanding can you continue to help her live the lifestyle that she's trying to portray on social media
Starting point is 00:27:40 so outside of that even in person understand the type of woman you're approaching. Now you know good and well there's certain people you ain't got no business approaching because you can't
Starting point is 00:27:50 do nothing with that. Based on what it looks like, based on aesthetics, based on a time, I mean, just the way they carry themselves, you already understand. And then also,
Starting point is 00:27:58 on the other hand, some women, they always talk about, don't approach me in public. Don't talk to me. When I go to the gas station, it's always dudes trying to hop. So, I mean, you never know. You can't talk to them at church.
Starting point is 00:28:13 You can't talk to them at the grocery store. They don't want to be bothering in the gym. They're going to think you're creepy. You're trying to rob them if you talk to them at the gas station. So I just try to figure out what, because now, Ocho, women, for what they tell me, they don't give you their phone number.
Starting point is 00:28:28 They give you your IG. IG. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm like, yeah, I'm like, what the hell?
Starting point is 00:28:36 Hey, as a matter of fact, so I get your IG Ocho, I'm looking. Oh, the girl under you, she better than you. Now I'm good.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I'm good. You missed your opportunity. You done went to the fray. Yeah she better than you. Nah, I'm good, Mohamed. I'm good. You missed your opportunity. You done went to the friend. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, I'm like, hold on. Oh, this you? Yeah. Matter of fact,
Starting point is 00:28:54 I'm looking at the girl right up under you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I'm going to go, yeah, yeah. You missed your opportunity. I like that study too, but a lot of men also,
Starting point is 00:29:04 a lot of men aren't really comfortable or have the confidence. It takes a lot of confidence to approach women in public. You know that, huh? For sure. If you don't know them, there's a certain cachet about certain men that have that confidence in their aura. It doesn't matter who it is.
Starting point is 00:29:20 It doesn't matter who it is, whether you're famous, you're regular, you're a celeb, it doesn't matter. Certain men just have a certain aura about them, but they can approach anybody. It doesn't matter who it is, whether you're famous, you're regular, you're a celeb. It doesn't matter. Certain men just have a certain aura about them, but they can approach anybody. It doesn't matter who it is. Being able to create conversation and carry a conversation. Some people can't even talk, huh? Yeah. But it's no joke.
Starting point is 00:29:37 I bet I was at the gas station. This had to be 15, 16, 17 years ago. Yeah. Man, she was, she bad, Ocho. Talk to me now. Too bad.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Come on now. She pumping gas. She got a white Benz, big body. Ooh. I'm pumping gas. Yeah, the 500. That's 500?
Starting point is 00:29:58 Yeah, yeah. You got plenty of work. Ocho, I'm looking, she looking. Okay. I'm looking, she looking. Okay. I'm looking, she looking. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:06 So, by two minutes, I was, hey, my thing don't feel, I'm just putting like five, I put it like, you know, five set at a time. And now I'm already right there. She looked back at me, she said, and you going to come ask me for my number? You just going to stare. Come on now. Like, man, you going to stop playing? What do I say now? You going to stop playing what do I say now
Starting point is 00:30:25 you gotta stop playing since you put it like that I better come on and get it yeah but you're right Ocho you're right I mean huh what you mean at home
Starting point is 00:30:38 what are you hiding from him tell us the rest of the story oh you know I'm Mo Rivera when I come into the game it's going to be I'm going to close the deal now hey
Starting point is 00:30:50 when the Yankees y'all know hey sometimes he had to get a four hour fade sometimes it was three sometimes it was one but when Mo Rivera
Starting point is 00:30:58 come in I'm going to close the deal now okay I'm going to close the deal okay I like that I like that I like that see that's what I'ma close the deal. Okay, I like that. I like that. I like that.
Starting point is 00:31:05 See, that's what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. But she's, hey, you're like, Ian, you gonna just stare or you gonna come get my number?
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yeah, I like it. Hey, that's what I want. I want somebody, hey, I want my women to be aggressive. There's only a few like that now. Now, there's only a few
Starting point is 00:31:24 that's aggressive like that that are assertive and know what they want. Only a few. And I guess whoever that was you was talking to, that was someone of age, that was experienced, and seasoned. Yeah. See? You ain't gonna get that from
Starting point is 00:31:39 the young folk. They want to be shy. They want you to chase after them. They want you to chase after them they you know they want you to apply pressure and apply who apply you mean to tell me hold on listen to the logic listen to the logic we are the providers right yes women say they're the prize but we're the providers right and the protectors right so you want me apply pressure, you want me to chase after you basically so I can spend money on
Starting point is 00:32:09 you to keep you happy. What sense does that make? None. Huh? Yeah, it's done got hard now, Ocho. Child, please. It's done got hard because, you know, like you said,
Starting point is 00:32:26 um, women won't demand to do all of it. Yeah. Well, they do very little. Come on, now. Oh, no. Oh, no, no. They don't have to do very little. They expect their mere existence to be enough. Being in their presence
Starting point is 00:32:41 is enough. Yeah. Child, enough. Yeah. Child, please. Yeah, you gotta... It's tough. I ain't gonna lie to you, Ocho. It's really, really tough. It is. It is.
Starting point is 00:32:55 But listen, the game is the game. And I say it again. I say it all the time. The game is the game. The better you learn to play it, the better off you'll be. And you'll be fine. Yeah, so.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Yeah, I miss those days, though, too. Back in the day, you know, you, hey, hey, what's your name? Where you from? I haven't seen you around here. You know, you start a little conversation like that, yeah, okay. They weren't rude either, too, huh? Yeah, yeah, nah, nah. Look,
Starting point is 00:33:24 if they weren't interested, but they made it easy. They ain't just No, no. They were very, they didn't look, they, if they weren't interested, but they made it easy. They, they, they ain't just like, no. Huh? Oh,
Starting point is 00:33:31 you know what you ain't ran into? You ain't ran into the kind where, if you want to talk to me, send something to my cash out. Oh, no. Oh, I'm supposed to know you like me.
Starting point is 00:33:41 If you ain't done nothing for me, I'm supposed to know you like me. If you ain't paid for my hair and my nails? Huh? Yeah, they done gone too far with that. I ain't got no cash out. I ain't got no cash out.
Starting point is 00:33:59 I ain't gonna lie though, but I've had women tell me, well, you need to download it. No, I don't. No, no, no, no, no. If I don't, I don't need to get no cash out. I'm not going to get no cash out. I'm okay without having to cash
Starting point is 00:34:13 out. Tell me what I can't do. I'm not online shopping like that. Shelly does. So I'm not online. I ain't online like, damn. Let me go order this. I've never ordered anything offline. I,
Starting point is 00:34:30 also, if I haven't booked a hotel or bought an airline ticket, what makes you think I can even order online? Right. But these women, these today women, man. Woo. Listen, they, they can live like that because this is one
Starting point is 00:34:48 thing about it the woman can move the way they're moving because what one man won't do another sucker will yeah uh-huh that's why they operate the way they do oh letcho, let me tell you the truth. They try to use Ocho. I understand if you ain't got it. Oh, I'm glad you understand because I ain't got it. I'm glad you understand. You see, they try to guilt you, Ocho. Like, oh, let me show her I can get it.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Let me show her I can do this X, Y, Z. I can understand if you ain't got it. You ain't balling like that. Yeah, I ain't got it. Yo, don't. I ain't. Okay, it's cold. Yo, don't got it. You ain't balling like that. Yeah, I ain't got it. Yo, don't. Hey, I ain't. Okay, it's cold. Yo, don't got it.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Hey, girl, please. Ocho, mom guessing her daughter and fiance's business. So my mom is living with my fiance and I for the time being. And last night she went through his phone to prove to me that all men cheat
Starting point is 00:35:51 and found messages between him and a woman sending selfies. Should I be bad at my mama for getting in my business or my fiance? Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, that's a good one right there. Well,
Starting point is 00:36:04 I tell you one thing I would love for all of us To To kind of Live in reality Reality a little bit more You know And if you got a partner right now
Starting point is 00:36:15 And I don't mean to start no drama I ain't trying to start no trouble I ain't trying to Ask your girl for a phone real quick And ask her for the password And watch her reaction That'll tell you all you need to know Or vice versa Ask your girl for a phone real quick and ask her for the password and watch her reaction. That'll tell you all you need to know.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Or vice versa. If you can't change phones without letting each other know for 24 hours and still be together the next morning, that'll tell you all you need to know. Half of you just going through the motions anyway. God, that's how you feel about it all day? I'm just telling you. You feel about it, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:36:43 God, God. I'm just telling you. Hold on. So hold on, Ocho. Let me get it. I want to day. I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you. So let me get it. I want to make sure I'm hearing you right, chat. So you said each of y'all trade phone for 24 hours. I bet you. I bet you won't be together tomorrow morning. I bet you that.
Starting point is 00:36:59 And I go for any and everybody. Bet y'all won't be together. Damn. And people just going through the motion just to say, Oh, look, I got somebody who I got a man. I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:08 man, man, please. Yeah. No, I look, my mom ain't doing none of that. My mom ain't going through no phone.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Um, I'm not gonna lie. My mom, my mom ain't going through my phone. She ain't going through your phone. Um, I'm not gonna allow. My mom, my mom ain't going through my phone. She ain't going through your phone. Um, I'm not gonna allow my mom to talk crazy to you, but you're not going to be disrespectful and talk crazy to my mom. Um, I believe in respect on both sides. Um, I've been very, very fortunate to have for the most part. My mom is really not. Like I said, the one time that my, that, that, that young lady showed up at my home and my mama said what she said, but the most part my mom has never interfered in one of my relationships um and my uh uh or my grandmother um but also my my my grandmother and mom my sister been very respectful of my relationships understanding that hey shannon grown shannon gonna make mistakes he look we can't guard him we can't protect him for everything right but ooh
Starting point is 00:38:07 mom went through his phone yeah man yeah that's tough old Joe you know we live in a life where we we choose to live in delusion at times
Starting point is 00:38:18 instead of reality it's tough I understand it though where where people rather live, you know, what you don't know won't hurt you, won't kill you.
Starting point is 00:38:30 But I think it all stems from, especially for us men, when we're dealing with women at times, we have this notion is once there's a title or relationship or once we spend
Starting point is 00:38:42 any type of money, we view that individual as, as something that is, belongs to us. We view it as ownership. And it, it's just not at the end of the day, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:54 you, you need to learn and understand that these individuals that you may deal with these individuals that you may invest in. Oh, yeah. I can listen. If the right opportunity presents itself, Oh Yeah Listen If the right opportunity Presents itself Ocho
Starting point is 00:39:11 Let me ask you a question Ocho Talk to me now If you were to go Looking for gold Don't you expect to find it I'm gonna ask my grandma I'll tell you what my grandma Told me all the time
Starting point is 00:39:20 Yeah Take your ass out And walk through mud You gonna come out dirty If you go through Somebody's phone You looking for something Yeah Oh you gonna find it told me all the time, yeah, take your ass out and walk through mud, you're going to come out dirty. If you go through somebody's phone, you're looking for something. Yeah, or you're going to find it every time. Every time.
Starting point is 00:39:36 But listen, what do I know? First of all, mom doing way too much. I've only been doing this for 32 years. That's all. I've been doing it for 32 years. What do all. I've been doing it for 32 years. What do I know? Ocho, mom doing too much. Oh, she was.
Starting point is 00:39:50 She was. That was disrespectful. First of all, anybody going through somebody's phone is disrespectful. Yeah. Yeah. You got your phone. I got my phone. I ain't going through yours.
Starting point is 00:40:05 I ain't picking your phone up, looking at it. Hey, bring me my phone. No. I have somebody's phone on show. I ain't gonna lie. I have their phone face down. Face down. I knew you were gonna say that, yo.
Starting point is 00:40:15 I have their phone face down. I ain't trying to look. I don't go through nobody's purse. I don't go through nobody. I ain't going through nobody's glove box and looking all up under their seats. I ain't doing all that. I ain't no detective. I ain't trying to solve no crime.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Hey, listen. If it's supposed to find you, it's going to find you. It's going to happen. It's going to happen. It's going to find you. Now, the guys are a little bit more... I mean, some guys, they're the new version of women. They talk a lot. But women? Oh.
Starting point is 00:40:44 They're going to blow your cover. They'll blow your cover. But I just like, hey, but my mom ain't doing that. My mom like her cushy life. She does. My mom just go play the slots,
Starting point is 00:41:03 have her a good old time, drive her new wheel. Look at your mama, baby. Yeah. My mom just go play the slots, have her a good old time, drive her new wheel. Look at your mama, baby. Okay. Go through my phone. That car gonna be right here in the garage. Yeah. Yeah, mom, you need to stab that man's phone.
Starting point is 00:41:19 You ain't how to do that. Yep. Now you done messed up. Now, now, now. So now what, Ocho, how about this? What happens if she chooses to stay with it and he found out your mom went through his phone? She ain't going nowhere, no way.
Starting point is 00:41:34 She ain't going nowhere. Now, first incident, first incident, she ain't going nowhere. You know what's funny? When you do leave, the cycle just repeats itself with the next person. But when it comes to women, First incident, he'd walk nowhere. All right. You know what's funny? When you do leave, whatever, the cycle just repeats itself with the next person.
Starting point is 00:41:48 But when it comes to women, women like a certain type of man. The type of man doesn't change. Do I need to keep going? Do I need to keep going? Well, I know what you're talking about. The cycle, the cycle continues to repeat itself
Starting point is 00:42:02 because women like what they like. So whatever you had, whatever problems you have with him, you're going to have it with the next one because you like a certain type of dude. So the cycle just repeats itself over and over and over and over, and it's going to keep going. And those type of, you know, hey, man, why money? Because that type of woman is in that environment around that type of man
Starting point is 00:42:25 they're at live they're at Vegas they're at town they're at this place or they're at Tulum they're at Cancun they're in Jamaica so the woman is constantly around that type of man that type of man is constantly around that type
Starting point is 00:42:43 of woman it's just a merry-go-round man That type of man is constantly around that type of woman. Yeah. It's just a merry-go-round, man. No joke. If I go to church, I'm expecting to see me the God-fearing woman. Why? Because I'm in church. And I could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:43:02 But man, man, shut up. Why you keep meeting these women and all they do is you keep meeting women? All they do is talk about Lord. All they do is want to go to Bible study and go to see Todd Tribbett. Because that's where I'm at church. I'm meeting them at church. So you expect to meet that type of woman. Okay. If you're in that type of environment, a lot of athletes hanging out. What do you think you're going to get? If you're in a situation, if you
Starting point is 00:43:26 take 20 beautiful women and you put them in a situation, football, basketball, baseball players, what do you think is going to happen? Because if you look at it, most athletes like the same type of a woman. Yeah. For the most part, though, Joe, I mean, every once in a while
Starting point is 00:43:44 you get a little varied. Yeah, a little variety, yeah. But for the most part, though, Joe, I mean, every once in a while, you get a little varied. Yeah, a little variety, yeah. But for the most part, look at your athletes, women, and tell me. Yeah. Just saying. I'm just saying. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A.
Starting point is 00:44:06 The night was good. I liked that. Isaiah Lancaster, Uncle Nocho, do you think the 49ers receiving core would be better off without Debo? I feel Ricky Pearsall has a lot of promise for them. Also, where do you rank Jalen Hurst's rank on the list of current quarterbacks? I mean, Pearsall ain't no goddamn diva, I can tell you that. Pearsall is more— He got better and better as the year progressed, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:44:36 He got better and better. Remember, Ocho, he got shot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I understand. And came back, and he played well down the stretch. These are two different totally type of receivers. Two completely different type of receivers. Pearsall is good.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Debo is good in his own right based on what he does. Mm-hmm. Core, I mean, it all depends on how healthy IU comes back um Juwan Jennings is uh uh is he on the contract
Starting point is 00:45:10 for another year or are they going they're gonna hunt uh are they gonna make a play for T. Higgins I don't know Ocho I really don't know
Starting point is 00:45:17 what they're gonna do um obviously um you gotta sign you gotta sign Purdy first you gotta get him gotta sign Purdy first you gotta get him under contract where do you rank Jalen Hurts
Starting point is 00:45:33 on the list of your quarterbacks currently Mahomes won I mean shouldn't we go Jalen second? You could. I mean, I would go Mahomes, especially right now. I would take Mahomes one. Jalen. I would take Lamar two.
Starting point is 00:46:02 I would put Hurts three, Josh Allen four, Burrow five. Either way, you go four or five either way. All right, I'm doing it the other way. I'm going Mahomes, J Allen, four. Burrow, five. Either way, you go four or five either way. All right, I'm doing it the other way. I'm going Mahone, Jalen Hurts, Lamar, Burrow, then Josh. Okay. I like it. Aaron Owen says, what's your Mount Rushmore Super Bowl performances? I got Doug Williams, Steve Young, Marcus Allen,
Starting point is 00:46:25 2000 Ravens defense as a whole. I can't remember all that. You know, first of all, the greatest rushing performance in Super Bowl history is Timmy Smith. Who? Timmy Smith. When Doug Williams won the Super Bowl MVP, Timmy Smith ran for 205 yards.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Yes! Go back and look at people forget about that rushing performance. He's the only guy that's ever rushed for 200 yards in a Super Bowl. Hold on. How many yards Doug Williams had passing? Doug had like 340, I think. Didn't Doug have like 340?
Starting point is 00:47:02 I think he had 340 and four touchdowns. Oh, yeah. He was... But they exploded in the second quarter. I think they have like 340? I think he had 340 and four touchdowns. Oh yeah, he was. But they exploded in the second quarter. I think they scored like 35 points in the second quarter. They went haywire on the Broncos. I'm sorry, Ocho. I didn't mean to be dead on.
Starting point is 00:47:23 He threw for 340 yards and four touchdowns. I'm sorry, Ocho didn't mean to be dead on he threw for 340 yards and 4 touchdowns I'm sorry Ocho Ash got all mad now you only knew that because they beat up on the Broncos so it's easy to remember those numbers Ocho you do realize I was in college when that happened that was 1987 so that
Starting point is 00:47:39 would have been 40 years ago but go look at Timmy Smith ran for 205 yards Ocho it's crazy but Doug 40 years ago. Yeah. But go look at Timmy Smith ran for 205 yards, don't you? It's crazy. And, but Doug had that magical day.
Starting point is 00:47:52 I remember Marcus. Marcus ran, I think, for 191. He's known for the reverse field touchdown. Yeah. Maybe you look at
Starting point is 00:48:01 Jerry when he went for, what, 11 for 215 against your Bengals in 1988. Maybe you look at Jerry when he went for, what, 11 for 215? Against your Bengals in 1988? You ain't had to say that. I'm trying to think.
Starting point is 00:48:17 You can make a case, Brady. Brady might have had the greatest passing day, and they lost. Brady threw for 500 yards against the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and they lost. Yeah. And then the game that he had against Atlanta, Kurt threw for over 400 against Tennessee in Atlanta. Super Bowl going back to Atlanta in 28.
Starting point is 00:48:44 I'd be there. No, you ain't staying at my house. I'm moving. As a matter of fact, I'm going to put it up for sale at 27. Where am I staying at? Huh? If I'm going to stay at your place, where am I staying at? I mean,
Starting point is 00:49:02 you and Rel probably get an Airbnb. Me and who? Rel. Who that?. Me and who? Rel. Who that? Okay, who that? Sheldon Pope said, Ocho, don't you know Ant-Man, Josh Smith, Dwight Howard, Dominique Wilkins, Lou Williams? They're all from Georgia.
Starting point is 00:49:19 He came down and wanted to beat me. Oh, Lord have mercy. 1GB Network TV said, 1A Georgia man, your graduation class was 18. Think about that. Go back and look. Some of the greatest players come out of state. Y'all know where
Starting point is 00:49:39 Hershel Walker went to school at? 1A. Heisman trophy winner, George Rogers. 1A. Garrison Hurst? 1A. Heisman Trophy winner, George Rogers? 1A. Garrison Hurst? 1A. Champ Bailey. Y'all ever heard of Champ Bailey?
Starting point is 00:49:51 1A. Shannon Sharp. Y'all ever heard of him? 1A. Starling Sharp? 1A. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:01 1A football. Could I, any of those names off the top of your head? Yeah. You see, y'all get caught up in how big the school is. It ain't the size of, it's, hey, let me be a shark in a pond as opposed to a minnow in the ocean. Hmm. Or you can come down here to Florida and be a shark in the ocean.
Starting point is 00:50:27 All I know I did all I know is I did this. I did from a little small school, all I did was go to HBCU, go to the NFL, and all those guys that went to those 5A schools and those big schools couldn't beat a little
Starting point is 00:50:41 old 1A guy for that job when he got to Savannah State. And when I went to the NFL, a little HBCU guy, a guy from Michigan, a guy from Nebraska, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State, Alabama couldn't beat me out for the job.
Starting point is 00:50:58 You mean to tell me them guys that got Nick Saban and got who's the guy? What's the guy uh what's the guy Notre Dame used to be coached Lou Holtz they got Lou Holtz and they got coached by Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson
Starting point is 00:51:13 they couldn't beat little old Shannon out for the job John Robinson huh now y'all went to those big old schools and I tell you boy what y'all doing now y'all went to those big old schools and I tell you boy what y'all doing go ahead jump in the chat
Starting point is 00:51:32 I want to know what y'all doing y'all went to a school had 5,000 people now tell me what y'all doing right now see y'all more concerned than where you where you were I'm concerned about where you are right now tell me what y'all more concerned than where you were. I'm concerned about where you are right now. Tell me what y'all doing. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:51:54 I went to 1A, got a scholarship, could have went D1, grades weren't good enough. But then, HBCU, I went in the seventh round. I wasn't concerned about what round I got drafted in because I know I'm going to have to put that pad and helmet on.
Starting point is 00:52:09 You got to put that on too now. Yeah. Now, when we get there, oh, you were at the Ohio State. You had this guy coaching. You had that guy. Hey, Sharp, get in there. Got in there and they couldn't get me out they couldn't get me out I don't know
Starting point is 00:52:32 that's just me little old country boy could I did I talked the rooster in the paying the fox $50 to guard the hen house. I like that.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Oh, hell. I could talk a fox. I could talk a fox. I could talk a rooster into paying the fox $50 to guard the hen house. That's a good one. I'm going to use that.
Starting point is 00:53:02 I'm going to use that on TV. I'm going to use that. That's a good one. I'm using that. I'm going to use that on TV. Why are you using that? I'm going to use that. Starting point is 00:57:45 to get somebody from at an hbcu now i was going to an hbcu when they weren't popular they wasn't politicizing it and they wasn't talking about it like they do now let's see back then yeah yeah look at who you came to see. I gave what he came to see. Y'all better stop playing. All the guys, and there are a lot of guys that went to 5A and 6, because now, Ocho,
Starting point is 00:58:13 we got 8, 8, 5A. We got schools that got 4,000 students, 5,000 students. Y'all do realize I'm Shannon Sharp. And whether we'd had 10,000 students, I'm still him. Okay. I'm Shannon Sharp And whether we had 10,000 students I'm still him Okay I'm still him
Starting point is 00:58:28 Don't keep talking man As a matter of fact, Class A Go look who won the best performance trophy The best triple jumper in the state of Georgia From a Class A school B-double-A, B-triple-A, B-quad-A Y'all make it seem like I wasn't him I've been him Beat double A, beat triple A, beat quad A. Y'all make it seem like I wasn't him.
Starting point is 00:58:48 I've been him. Ever since I was a little bitty boy. Now I'm a big old grown man. I'm still him. Still. Ain't nothing changed. Just look great. Let's race then.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Nah. Alright, we can do bench press. We can do shoulder press. We can do squats. Okay. That's fine. That's fine because I live just as much as you do. That's fine. I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to let whatever you max, I'm going to let you get done and then I'm going to rep it because I ain't got time to be doing all that
Starting point is 00:59:21 other putting on and taking off. Once you get to your max then I'm going to rep it Tyra said what's up Ocho do you see Sixers trading Joel Embiid in the near future I definitely can see that happening good luck because they owe him about $204 he just signed a three year extension
Starting point is 00:59:37 for $193 million so he's due about $260 million do you think that's a good investment so he's due about $260 million. Hmm. Do you think that's a good investment? He said that he's possibly going to need another surgery after the season. Oh. That's tough.
Starting point is 01:00:04 That's asking an awful lot, man. I don't think that's a very wise decision to trade for him oh joe he hasn't been healthy but for one year yeah we know listen nobody's arguing his ability the guy gave you 35 and 12 he was leading the league scoring last year before he got hurt luca ended up winning we saw the year before, the year before that Joel Embiid is as skilled of a big man as we've had great touch around the rim can shoot the three, got a mid-range
Starting point is 01:00:34 can defend he just can't stay healthy Ty Fly Guy said at this point does my boy Freddie T make it to the hall my Jags deserve one more
Starting point is 01:00:49 I do think Freddie T will eventually get in had he not had his career cut short one of the best players in Jags history
Starting point is 01:01:02 people don't talk about it's Jimmy Smith Jimmy Smith oh Jimmy Smith. Oh, Jimmy was a true boy. The real deal. Oh, you remember what he did to your Ravens? Yeah, I was there. Hell, I remember what he did with our Broncos.
Starting point is 01:01:16 You know, went to Jackson State, got in a car wreck, ended up losing like a half a foot of intestine, got drafted by the Cowboys in the second round. Cowboys being the Cowboys didn't realize what he had. He became impatient. Can you imagine him playing alongside Mike?
Starting point is 01:01:32 Oh, my goodness. That would have been nasty. He goes to the Jags. Y'all better look up Jimmy. Man, him and Keenan? And they were cutting up for him. What? Were Mark Brunel throwing that thought?
Starting point is 01:01:44 Because at first they had him and Natron memes. And then they got Freddie T? That was all she wrote. J213, how can I please get a shout out? My birthday was yesterday and my daughters will be born in two months. How did y'all protect your little girls while they were growing up? Happy birthday, Jay. Appreciate you watching.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Hopefully you did something fun. Bro, I was very fortunate because my oldest daughter, her junior and senior year, she lived with me. And she's old enough to know what, who our daddy was, who our daddy was in high school. I mean, in college, who our daddy was in the NFL.
Starting point is 01:02:33 And you just be honest. I've always been able to be honest with that one. She doesn't want you to sugarcoat it. She wants you to tell you the truth. And she, we have a very different relationship because most daughters won't talk to their dad like my daughter would talk to me. So she would
Starting point is 01:02:49 share things with me like she would share with her mother. So we had a very open relationship and I was honest with her. Maybe you got to be careful. I can't protect you now. You're going to have to make some mistakes because if I protect you from everything when I'm not around you, that's when you're going to be flawed.
Starting point is 01:03:06 So I'm going to let you know, I'm going to tell you, you know, some of the signs that you need to look for, but baby, you're going to have to, you're going to have to experience some stuff for yourself. Some things can only be seen through the eyes that have cried. Right. I can tell you it hurt, but you got to experience it for yourself. Some things. And so, you know, you just try to be honest
Starting point is 01:03:28 you know she's in her 30s now she's a big girl she knows and my son my son has only had a couple of relationships been mad for like the last three years he's dated
Starting point is 01:03:44 his wife who was his girlfriend. Been married for like the last three years. He's dated his wife, who was his girlfriend at the time, for like seven years. So, if somebody would have asked me when they were probably 13 or 14, which one of my kids have got married, I'd have pointed the key.
Starting point is 01:04:00 He's always been the calmer of the ones. He's always been, this is him. Always. So it's no surprise that he got married first. It's no surprise he got married at a young age. He's definitely the opposite of his dad. He looks like me.
Starting point is 01:04:21 He's built like me. That's where it stops. One G Network TV said, yo, Uncle Nocho, can I get a happy first birthday for my son? Samaje? Hard. Samaje, happy first birthday. Now, one day your dad is going to clip this and he's going to show you, man. Hey, Uncle Nocho, wish you a very special happy first birthday.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Happy first birthday, young man. Many more to come. Lady Ray, hey guys, if there are certain type of food, sound, smell,
Starting point is 01:04:51 that is nostalgic and it takes you right back to the good old days in your mind. Hmm. Any soul food spot. Any soul food spot
Starting point is 01:05:00 where I can smell them yams, sweet water, cornbread, the chicken. Oh, yams. Oh, you talking about those yams. Oh, you're talking about those yams. I thought you were talking about them other yams.
Starting point is 01:05:07 That would take me back. Woo! Took me way back on you. Yeah, I'm just thinking about Sunday dinner, man, after church, man. Everybody meet up at my... I was thinking about Monday night dinner. But okay, go ahead, carry on. Hey,
Starting point is 01:05:23 going to a soul food spot, man, and walking in and smelling, just smelling the cooking, smelling the food, man. It reminds me of going to my grandma's sister house, man, on Sundays where everybody meet up at the church. And Big Mama being there cooking, man, whooping that thing up, man. It did bring back some good memories, man. Yeah. I don't get that smell anymore Ocho cause I'm not around cause nobody really cooks like my grandmother
Starting point is 01:05:47 used to cook you know when she's cooking collard greens and she got turkey necks or she got pigtails or you know stuff like that nobody's cooking cabbage
Starting point is 01:05:55 nobody's cooking like my black eyed peas and stuff like that my grandmother used to cook so but boy when I get them
Starting point is 01:06:03 old ox tails it's something about them ox tails yeah man and if they ain't be as big as your fist yeah man But boy, when I get them old ox tails, it's something about them ox tails. Yeah, man. And if they ain't be as big as your fist. Yeah, man. But I do love some old deep, that old iron skillet cornbread.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Yeah. And sometimes they have like the real kernel corn in there. And sometimes they have like the jalapenos. I hate the corn and jalapenos. Oh, and that blueberry. Boy, that blueberry cornbread. And that caster. I'm talking about that caster skin.
Starting point is 01:06:32 That thing be like this. Thick as hell. Yeah. Lord, have mercy. Just can't help it, Ocho. I just can't help it. Oh. Mm, mm, mm, mm. Yeah, Mm. Mm. Mm.
Starting point is 01:06:45 Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we don't like the thing. Like I said, don't you? When my grandmother passed away, we don't really,
Starting point is 01:06:53 cause when I was growing up for Sunday, everybody always came to my grandmother and grandfather's home, uh, holidays. All my uncles and aunts would come over after, you know, over the present. They come over, uh,
Starting point is 01:07:01 Easter. Like I said, but, uh, once my grandma, we got together, my grandmother passed. Obviously we get with that, but once my grandma, we got together, my grandmother passed, obviously we get with that,
Starting point is 01:07:07 we, you know, we cooked out, people brought stuff, but that was it. That was it. And I knew once my grandmother passed, that was going to be it.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Yeah, it is. Same. I knew that was, the proudest that my grandmother was, don't you know, like my last three, four years in the league, I would have a big old cookout.
Starting point is 01:07:26 So I'd have my sister blade, bring all your friends, blah, blah, blah. They don't need to bring anything but the appetite. I'll get my homeboy. Uh,
Starting point is 01:07:34 uh, uh, Timmy, uh, he was a year older than me. And so he would cook and I would, uh, and I called him,
Starting point is 01:07:42 I tell, I call him, he, my, uh, executive, my executive chef. All the whole was a that in a cook.
Starting point is 01:07:50 But he would cook, you know, steaks. You know, I get 200 pounds of crab, crab legs and shrimp. You know, we have steak, you know, Hebrew national hot dogs, hamburger. I mean, everything on show. And my grandmother was just sitting in the window. And all I asked is that, not curse. I said, my grandmother's in the West. Y'all see my grandmother?
Starting point is 01:08:12 Y'all, hey, having much fun, drink. Just don't curse in front of my grandmother. And man, that was the happiest my grandmother was. She was so happy to see her, you know, to see a lot of people, kids that she knew. To see her, you know, me and my brother, obviously our grands. Her kids, my uncles and aunts would come over. And we'd just have a great time. And I miss that.
Starting point is 01:08:32 But it's over now, Ocho. It's over. My grandma been gone eight years now. It's been eight years since I've seen family all together. Under one roof. Yeah. When we'll get together is when there's a death in the family.
Starting point is 01:08:48 Mm-hmm. Oh, so I haven't been home. I haven't been to my grandmother's home in Glenville in 13 years. My sister come to me. Right. Um, and like,
Starting point is 01:09:03 and people like, man, your brother, I say, my brother, I have not seen my brother at my home in six years, because I'm never there when he comes. Hey, bro, I'm staying at the crib. Okay. And even when he's in Atlanta, Ocho, he didn't stay at the house.
Starting point is 01:09:18 He came and he get a hotel. So I don't see him when I come to the house. So he's shocked, because he's like, bro, I come up by the house. So he's like, he's shocked because he's like, bro, I, you know, come up by the house. He's like, is everything, he's thinking something wrong. If I tell my brother I need to see him, he thinks something wrong. Now my sister's like, okay, you need somebody to watch the dogs and blah, blah, blah. But that's not how he thinks.
Starting point is 01:09:37 He's wired differently. So he's thinking if I say, hey, bro, I'm at the house, stop by, I need to see you. He's thinking something wrong. But that's why he said he jumped in the car he hit the road so it's very people like man he knew
Starting point is 01:09:50 he didn't know cause he can't see me when you walking down the stairs there's a there's a hand so he couldn't see me if that's why he had to walk all the way down
Starting point is 01:09:58 that's why he stopped so once he stopped now he can see now he probably had an indication that, when I got the jacket on, that's why he looked, you see him, he looks to his left,
Starting point is 01:10:10 he see all these people, but that's when he realized it, but prior to that, he had no idea, he just like, damn, but that's where we go, when he would come more frequently,
Starting point is 01:10:19 Ocho, that's where I would be, I would be down in the basement, watching all the TVs on the wall, he's like, man, man, what you doing?
Starting point is 01:10:24 I was like, you know, we watching the games, you know, we have all the games on the wall. Like, wait a minute, what you doing? I was like, you know, we watching the game, you know, we have all the games on, but I miss that. Oh, Joe,
Starting point is 01:10:29 I do. I miss seeing my grandmother and, and that window, all those people in the yard, drinking, laughing, having a good time. We talking about stuff that happened 25,
Starting point is 01:10:41 30 years ago, 40, damn near 40 years ago. I miss that, but it is what it is. Ocho, D Bishop said, Ocho, my girls, Maria Navarro, big fan. Could you wish her a happy Valentine's Day? A part of my gift.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Huge fan. Being yourself, goats of the podcast. I sure will. Maria, happy Valentine's. Hey, bitch, you got something for her? You know what I'm saying? Happy Valentine's, sis. Happy Valentine's Day. And to
Starting point is 01:11:13 all the women, happy Valentine's Day. Hopefully you and yours do something really, really special. You enjoy it, you know. But a roast bar is coming handy. Yeah, shade the covers now. Hey, hey, you heard what I said. I don't know if y'all saw the commercial.
Starting point is 01:11:33 Three-peat, back to back to back. Three-peat, run it back. Old Cho, I tell him, if Pete and Repeat was on the fence, and Pete was off, if Pete fell off, who was left? Repeat. Come on with it, then. Come on with it. Repeat, Ocho. 36 hours. Do you know
Starting point is 01:11:53 what you can do in 36 hours? Well, I can do a lot now. Hey, you can do a lot of damage. Yeah, to your touch every corner in the house. Yeah. Man, please. That's what I'm talking about, Ocho. That's what I like to hear. Man, please. That's what I'm talking about, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:12:07 That's what I like to hear. Oh, oh. Oh, and Real, what you get for Valentine's Day? Where Real? I'm at my place. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:12:19 I bet Real be over there tomorrow. Over where? Yo, no, you be at her place. Nah, nah, nah place nah nah nah nah nah she gonna she gonna
