Head over to your nearest Boost Mobile store and make the most out of your tax refund. Coach, check this out. Travis Hunter's father, Travis Hunter Sr.,
Starting point is 00:04:42 wasn't able to attend when he accepted the Heisman Trophy, but he'll be there at the 2025 draft. He was granted permission by the courts recently to travel to Green Bay. Hunter Sr. was sentenced to 90 days in late September 24th, stemming from a 2023 arrest on a gun and drug charges. He was released from Palm Beach County West Detention Center in Bellevue, the MOOC, nine days before the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York but was unable to attend.
Starting point is 00:05:12 He was placed on three-year period of probation in order to complete the first year under home confinement. I like this. Yeah, that's dope. That's a special moment, and I'm glad seniors get able to share this moment with son jr because you only get it once and it's never going to happen again it's never
Starting point is 00:05:31 going to happen again i i you know he put himself in a situation um you know he got the the arrest and he wasn't able to get there because i could imagine what that would have been like to see my son when to see my son and to hug my son when he won that award. You get to be here for this one. And I thank the courts for giving him this opportunity. Yes. Relish it. Cherish it. Because there ain't going to be another one of these.
Starting point is 00:05:55 You miss one, you won't miss another one. That's awesome. That's awesome. Yeah, that's dope. Devontae Adams said that the 49ers tried to lowball him in free agency before he signed with the Rams. I was entertaining the Niners, but they were like, we're paying wholesale. No, we ain't paying retail.
Starting point is 00:06:13 And I was like, okay, well, I'm not a wholesale type of dude. Absolutely not. Listen, that would have been tremendous. That would have been tremendous help for Brock Purdy. Yeah. Iuke went out. It would have made Debo's job muchdy. Yeah. Iuke went out. It would have made Deebo's job much easier.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Deebo's on. Deebo in Washington. Remember they traded Deebo. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. This was before he went to the Jets though. No, he went to the Rams.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I mean, before he went. Okay, okay. Okay, you know you're right. I'm tripping. I'm thinking back a whole. You think way before. No, no, no, no. Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Yeah, yeah. I mean, listen, that would have been dope. You got IU coming off like ACL. Why would you not want to have someone like Devontae Adams
Starting point is 00:06:49 that can still, who still to me is considered the top rock runner in the NFL. And if anybody in the chat wants to argue with me, we can argue that down.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Pull up the film. I think, Ocho, I think, and let me know what you think, because they pay him IU 28, 29 million and then think, because they pay him IUK $28, $29 million and then turn around and pay him.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I'm not sure they really want to pay. I don't think they really wanted to pay IUK, but they didn't really have no choice. Yeah, they didn't. They didn't. But you can't disrespect one of the better players. Well, let me ask you a question. You can't disrespect one of the better players.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Let's just say for the sake of argument, I pay him. What I'm going to do with Brock Purdy? Who's going to throw in the ball now? You know Brock Purdy lied about big-ass payday, right? He's going to the Super Bowl, been to the NFC Championship game, going to the Super Bowl. You're going to have to break bread, Ocho. Yeah, yeah, yeah. game, going to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:07:46 You're going to have to break bread, Ocho. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're going to have to. Listen, you got to make a way. You know who found a way to do it? Mm-hmm. The Eagles. Oh, the Eagles just made the center, the second highest paid center.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Mm-hmm. It's funny how the Eagles find a way to make it work every time no issues no problems all the offensive linemen got them locked up they get them a year early now watch after this season they gonna lock
Starting point is 00:08:12 Jalen Carter ass up and rightfully so wait after this season or one more after this one don't they you see you're okay
Starting point is 00:08:21 you waiting you do realize the price keep going up. Oh, yeah. Every time. Every time. Every time. Mom, what you call?
Starting point is 00:08:31 And my battery dying. Hold on. I need my charger. Yeah. Lakers won tonight. I'm happy alright it's time for our final segment of the evening it's time for Q and A
Starting point is 00:08:52 Ray Dare Prime said Ant-Man Batman you can call upon me any man Lakers are fine said Ant-Man, Batman, you can call upon me any man. Legally fine. Man, Ocho, what the hell you go?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Hush-a-ya. Surge-a-baka, waka-flocka, chew-baka. Legally fine. Man, why don't you leave it plugged up? Why don't you leave it plugged up? Huh? Why don't you leave your charger plugged up? I had it in my bedroom when I took a nap earlier today.
Starting point is 00:09:30 I was charging my phone. You know, when you use your laptop charging your iPhone, it's like having a super fast charger. You ain't know that, huh? I just taught you something. How about buying one for your laptop and have two of them? It's too expensive.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Ain't nobody taught you that, huh? It's too expensive. Ain't nobody taught you that, huh? It's too expensive. Okay. Logan Mias Misak. Luka was guarding everyone out there. No, no, Luka played well tonight. He played well tonight. I mean, you know, sometimes you have to remind him and like Luka,
Starting point is 00:10:01 just don't give up the first, just don't give up the initial push. Mm-hmm. Make A. He tries to go right, cut him off, and send him back left. If you do that, we're going to be okay. You'll give us an opportunity to come help you. But if you let him just go by you, we're not going to be able to help you. And then if we come too soon, we're going to be out of position to get back,
Starting point is 00:10:22 and we're not going to be able to chase the guys off the three-point line. I thought they did a great job tonight. I thought guys missed some shots. If we come too soon, we're going to be out of position to get back, and we're not going to be able to chase the guys off the three-point line. I thought they did a great job tonight. I thought guys missed some shots. The shots that they made the other night wasn't even close tonight, and I think that was the difference in the ballgame. But game three is going to be very interesting. The Lakers are going to have to come out and have to meet that intensity because I think Minnesota is going to come out kicking.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I like it. I like kicking. I like it. I like it. I like it. Thomas Presley, LeBron still struggling long with that groin. His jumper was going downhill by the mid-third quarter. Yeah, it was hitting the front of the rim, hitting the side of the rim. But I like he was in attack mode. Had some great passes. I like that. I like that he was in attack mode. Had some great passes.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I like that. I like that he was in attack mode, and that's what LeBron needs to be. Look, I like LeBron playing off the ball because I believe he's better suited and situated to play off the ball than Luka. Luka needs the ball. AR can play off the ball. LeBron can play off the ball. I think Luka is better with him on the ball.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Cameron Norwood Jr., my question is, would it be Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen 2.0 if you gave Jokic the MVP over SGA? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. That's a good comparison, too. And that's exactly what it would be.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Exactly what it would be. I'm surprised. What's shocking is that Lamar was our first-team all-pro quarterback. How you vote the guy first? So he should be on the all-pro team, but the guy's the MVP. The guy's the MVP, but he didn't deserve to be first team all... Never mind. Let's not...
Starting point is 00:12:07 Ain't no fifth Ocho. Ain't no... We can't relitigate that. We can't do anything about that. Abizi. Ocho. They do NFL 100
Starting point is 00:12:18 every year with the players on NFL Network with interviews. They do. I've been trying to tell Ocho that, but he ain't want to hear that. Meh. Made for This Mountain is a podcast network with interviews. They do. I've been trying to tell a little show that, but he ain't want to hear that. Man.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Made for this mountain is a podcast that exists to empower listeners to rise above their struggles, break free from the chains of trauma and silence the negative voices that have kept them small

Starting point is 00:12:48 that you refuse to say, hey, this is my mountain. This is the struggle. This is the thing that's in front of me. You can't make that mountain move without actually diving into that. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to conquer the things that once felt impossible and step boldly into the best version of yourself to awaken the unstoppable strength that's inside of us all. Listen to Made for This Mountain on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your
Starting point is 00:13:31 guide on good company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask a journey check.
Starting point is 00:15:01 I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn. In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra, you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago, but which few of us still remember today. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, Your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see. Muhammad Ali was never afraid to express himself loudly and boldly and stays true to form in Ali and Me, an eight-part Audible original. Guided by his own words, this series explores Ali's life and legacy through never-before-heard audio recordings and discussions with those who knew him best. Muhammad had this real sense of his own personal values and principles, things he believed in, his own sense of conviction. Those convictions never wavered. Hosted by Muhammad's wife, Lani Ali,
Starting point is 00:16:18 and his close friend, award-winning broadcaster, John Ramsey, Ali and Me goes beyond the boxing ring to delve deeply into Ali's extraordinary life through conversations with Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, Rosie Perez, Common, Will Smith, and Bob Costas. It created a North Star
Starting point is 00:16:36 for me of how I want to be in the world, you know. As a child, as a young person, he gave credence to my audacity. There's no debate that this is the greatest global sports figure of our lifetime. Listen to Ali and Me, now on Audible. Curtis Thompson said, what about the Steelers grading a T.J. Watt for a pick,
Starting point is 00:17:05 trading T.J. Watt for a pick? What do you think about that? I saw that. Somebody, who was that? Oh, Washington. Yeah, I saw that too. I saw Washington was looking to trade. He want a payday.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Yeah. He want a payday. I don't blame him. I mean, the man give you 13, 14 sacks every year. If I play the contract that the Steelers had him under. Pay the man. You don't want to pay me? Look,'t blame you. I mean, the man give you 13, 14 sacks every year. If I play the contract that the Steelers had him under. Pay the man. You don't want to pay me? Look, I know he wanted, you know, his brother left
Starting point is 00:17:30 Houston and played, what, one year, two years in Arizona? Arizona, yeah. Steelers normally take care of their guys. Well, they took care of him already, though, huh? Take care of me again. Take care of me.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Take care of me again, Ocho. Right, right, right. Sheldon Pope. Ocho writes down every quote in his composition book, but the main quote you say daily, Ocho, where my money? My book right here.
Starting point is 00:18:07 You know, I keep that. I don't let that book get too far from me now. Where my money, Ocho? Huh? Where my money? I got you. How much? I mean, listen, what I owe you again?
Starting point is 00:18:18 $5,200. All right, hold on. Let me write that. Plus interest. Wait, plus who? Interest. No, the only time interest is charged when it got to do with the bank.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I'm the bank. You're a book. Hold on, I'm going to write, I owe you $5,200. Hold on. If you added interest, how much interest would you be talking about? 15%.
Starting point is 00:18:42 15%? 15% 15% what type of bank what type why you acting like you the federal reserve or something man what you talking about 15% I'm charged man I'm charging you
Starting point is 00:18:59 the terrorist I'm gonna charge you the terrorists hey that's a good one I will charge you if you don't pay me if you don't pay me on Thursday I will charge you 245%
Starting point is 00:19:13 okay okay okay I forgot I'm gonna see you tomorrow I got you I got you I'm gonna bring cash with me too
Starting point is 00:19:19 I sure appreciate that Ocho yeah I got you Pat Dove said Ocho have you experienced gators on your front porch like the viral video going around today? Oh, yeah, most definitely. Listen, gators, they frequent sometimes in the city, the outer cities over in Okeechobee areas, the canals.
Starting point is 00:19:40 What people have done is they catch them when they're small, and when they get too big, they release them back in the canals. I've never really heard of anybody getting hurt or injured. And you see them all the time. It's almost like iguanas, almost like lizards. You see them all the time, and so often it's like it's nothing. And if they get too big, obviously, you know, people call animal control and get them up out of the area. But it's like seeing a damn peacock or a chicken at this point, obviously, you know, people call animal control and get them up out of the area.
Starting point is 00:20:09 But it's like seeing a damn peacock or a chicken at this point, especially if you live in Florida. No, I'm serious. I'm serious. Love never felt so good. Respect to you, Chad, a real-day county legend. Know you were running things out here secretly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know your boy out here, you know,
