Guys, just when you thought Cam and RC Beef was dead, Gilly the Kid, hold my beer,
let's take a listen to what Gilly had to say in response to Cam criticism of Jalen Hurts
Good day, Cam Newton. I seen you came at me because I said Jalen Hurts did
What you couldn't do that was win a Super Bowl
So you want to get all in your feelings? They shut your tight jean-wearing ass up, man
You had on a jersey with a bow tie you corny ass
Get out of here. You will never be able to f*** with Jalen Hurts. You super goofy corny ass. Get out of here. You
what you do? You want MVP? You want a Super Bowl? Win a Super Bowl MVP. And you hating
on him because he did what you could do
with a Super Bowl
And he's been to two of them
So when you hate know him just know you weren't better than him
You tell her can you name one of my albums? You ain't got to be able to name one of my albums
Wrong with you you in my space. You ain't bigger than me in this space. You a low **** boy in this space. You're low
**** boy. I could come sign you. Damn. Hey, that's true.
And that was personal. Man, look. Anybody ever met Gilly
besides me? Anybody ever met Gilly besides me? Anybody ever met Gilly besides me?
I know Gilly, we done played basketball together.
He got that energy all the time.
He took that personal.
Yeah, he took that personal.
He absolutely did.
You know, Gilly got a ring, Ocho.
Yeah, I saw it.
The Eagles gave Gilly a ring.
I saw it, that's where the idea came.
You know, when the Bengals win the Super Bowl,
I'm hoping they give me a ring, you know,
being the team mascot, being the best ambassador
for the organization, even though I don't play anymore.
So I'm hoping I do get a ring this season.
I don't.
I don't hope you get a ring this season.
I ain't gonna lie to you, Ochoa.
I hope you don't.
Damn, Joe, what you hate, boy.
I ain't hating, I'm just keeping it 100. I'm just keeping it 100, man. I can't sit here and say I hope you don't. Damn Joe, what you hate? Hey, I'm just keeping it 100.
I'm just keeping it 100, man.
I can't sit here and say I hope you get one.
I don't, nah, nah, I don't.
Okay, I feel you, I feel you, that's cool.
Yeah.
I coulda got, I shoulda got one.
I shoulda got two more 50 ring, okay.
Why?
I coulda. I mean, I'm asking you why though.
Why, why, why, why, why, why could I not get one? You already got three, why you need another one? I could. I mean, I'm asking you
to call it right now. But the relationship that I had with Mr. B, Mr. B owned the Broncos from 1984 till I think the Walton Penner family bought it in 22, I want to say maybe 19, 20,
22, something like that, 20, whatever. Other than John Elway, I defy you to find a player that Mr. B loved more than Shannon
Sharp other than John Elway.
Now that I think about it, now that you just said it, I like that you said it. Now that,
I would like that. Now, I'm gonna raise you another one.
What is it?
You would have asked Mike Brown.
Yeah. You would have asked Mike Brown, if you would have asked Katie, if you would have asked
Troy, if you asked the rest of the family, their kids, what player do they love the most
that played for that organization?
Who do you think they're going to say?
Shit, I mean, you posing the question, I guess you mean you.
Well, who else? If you ask the fans, who do you love the most that has played for that
organization?
His kids, I'll put it, the young kids are putting together a little something and they
asked me to sit down and speak for it. And his daughter, Brittany, I know all the kids,
but they asked me to speak and they say,
Shannon, the reason why we ask you,
and I'm gonna ask, I'm gonna speak with Brittany
and ask, do she mind if I share the note that she wrote?
She said, because our dad was so serious,
except when he was around you.
You come in the locker room, that's my domain.
You get what everybody else get, bag on.
They respect that.
And they respect it.
You get on bus number two,
if you break your ass back to the back, you getting it.
Anybody that come back to the back, go get it.
Whether you Mr. B, whether you Mike Shanahan,
it didn't matter.
I will give you that work.
And they respected, he respected that.
Ocho, I did things and he told me,
he say only you got the,
only you would ever even think about that.
Rick said, Sharpie, ain't nobody else got the brands
to do what you just did.
But he appreciated that.
And he took a liking to me,
even way before I became Shannon Sharp.
Had a girl, my girlfriend and I,
we expected our first, she found out she was pregnant.
Okay.
By this time, Ocho, I done went and bought up, she's like, we're expecting her first and she found out she was
pregnant. Okay. Okay. By this
time, Ocho, I done went and
bought up. She's like, Shannon,
you know what I want? I said,
what you want? She said, I want
a fur coat. I said, you boy
got you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hey,
you know, I don't I don't want
to got that mink. Mink? So, I
got a mink, Ocho. Well, you got money. You talking about I said, I'm not, what? You know, I
said, congratulations on what? He said, your girlfriend's pregnant.
Congratulations.
How you feel, uncle?
How you feel?
How you feel?
Bro, I just spent $12,000 on a meat cone.
I need that money back.
What the hell you mean, how I feel?
I felt sick to my stomach.
Now we got two people in that mofo sick.
Do not feel it well.
Her and I.
Hey, what is it?
Hey.
Hey, so Joe.
So I tell him, I go back and I try to explain to the people.
I said, look, I found out my girlfriend is pregnant
and I was wondering if I could get a refund.
They said they're not gonna give me no refund.
I called Mr. B, I said, Mr. B, I got a problem.
He said, he always called me Sharpie or he called me 84.
He said, Sharpie, what's going on?
I said, Mr. B, my girlfriend's pregnant
and I purchased a fur coat,
not knowing that she was pregnant.
And it's, we need baby supplies, not a fur coat.
He said, he said, here,
I'm gonna give you my personal attorney.
His name was Rich Slivka.
If you in Denver, you all know Rich Slivka.
He was also in charge of Mr. Bola's estate,
Rich Slivka and Joe Ellis.
I called Rich, he said, I expected you, Chef.
Mr. Sharp, he said, how you doing?
I explained my situation.
And today I got my, Mr. Sharp, he said, how you doing? I explained my situation, and today I got my money back.
Yeah, you might be all right, man.
He might look out for you.
Might look out for you.
Why you laughing, okay?
He might look out for you.
Oh yeah, oh for sure, oh for sure.
And when I retired, I remember when I retired, Joe,
he asked me, he said, are you sure?
He's like, you want to coach, you want to do anything?
I said, Mr. B.
Oh shit.
I said, for the first time in 26 years.
Oh, that was funny.
I want to do something other than play football.
I thought about doing something other than playing football.
He said, Sharpie, he said, if you ever need anything,
hey, he said, any game you want to go to,
anything that's in this, I said, so who I need to call?
He said, you don't need to, he say,
he said, you don't need to call anybody.
I said, Mr. B, I ain't got no, I ain't got no credentials.
He said, your face is your credential.
That's what I'm talking about, man.
Man, look at Ochoa.
Anything that was at mile high, any game, Super Bowl.
I go, I say, hey, I call, I say,
the Super Bowl in New York, I call.
I want to go to the Super Bowl.
Gotcha.
He's like, say, well, who you bringing?
I say, I say, there ain't nobody.
I say, who can I bring?
He say, you got a suite.
Man, Ocho, a 12 person suite is three people in there.
Hey, sometimes it's hard to me.
Me?
Yes.
So guess what, Ocho?
So guess what?
Now we go to, they in Super Bowl 50.
They got their eyes beat out.
I left early.
I say, New York, Seattle beat the brakes off of them.
So they go to San Francisco, Broncos against Cam.
Hey, I wanna go to the thing again.
12 person suite.
Three people in there.
I got field passes.
I got a field pass.
I go anywhere.
The celebration, I'm on the field.
Hey, I'm on the field pregame.
I'm walking everywhere.
Just wherever I want to go. Like I said, I'm on the field pregame, I'm walking everywhere. Just wherever I wanna go.
Like I said, I know he had a very special relationship
with John, but in the 30 plus years that he owned that team,
I was number two to number seven, that's for sure.
And when I went to the Hall of Fame Ocho, he called me.
I was like, hello?
He's like, Sharpie.
I said, Mr. B, how you get my number?
He said, Sharpie,
there's not a whole lot that I can't get.
I said, okay, touche, touche.
But he said he wanted to congratulate me
that he was proud of me. He said, hey, I don't know if y'all know this, touche. But he said he wanted to congratulate me that he was proud of me.
He said, hey, I don't know if y'all know this, Ocho.
It's expensive to go to the hall.
It cost you.
It cost to go to the hall.
So he said,
you know, he said,
Sharpie, call Lisa, his secretary, on Monday.
Give her a ballpark idea.
Man, please.
35 people, he flew in, put them up.
That's what's up, man.
The food, the party, the party,
all the food, the alcohol, he paid for it.
Now you know you're gonna get the ring.
The ring.
How many people you wanna bring?
I say, Mr. B, you know, I got my kids, I got my mom,
I got my sister, I say my high school coach and his wife.
I got my Spanish teacher, her husband,
who was my junior high principal.
Brought them all in.
That's loud, yeah.
Saturday night, Mike called me, 84, what you doing?
I said, we just sitting around, Mike,
we ain't doing nothing.
He said, I wanna throw you a party.
I said, Mike, you ain't gotta do that.
He said, nah.
He said, I got everything taken care of.
He said, how many people you got? I said, it's about, I said, Mike, you ain't gotta do that. He said, nah. He said, I got everything taken care of. He said, how many people you got?
I say, it's about, I said, Mike, it's about 12, 14 of us.
Ocho,
Alaskan king crab this long,
jumbo prawns this long, steak, lobster.
I'm talking about everything.
That's why I'm saying, it's so, like,
when you got a relationship, I get it.
I call Mike Shanahan right now.
I call Kyle and get a job tomorrow.
84, what you wanna do?
I say, I wanna loaf until noon,
and then I wanna loaf the rest of the day too.
But I wanna be on payroll while I'm doing it.
and then I wanna loaf the rest of the day too. But I wanna be on payroll while I'm doing it.
Let me ask you, what y'all think about this, Ocho?
Let me ask, what y'all think about Gilly?
Camp, we saw R.C.'s response to Cam.
We saw Gilly's response to Cam.
And we've already, Joe, you weren't here.
What's your response?
What, I'ma start with you first, Joe.
Joe, what's your take on Gilly's response to Kam?
I just thought it was too personal of a shot.
Because we can talk trash back and forth.
You know, it could be a good sparring session,
but I just think when it get personal, bro,
I think it kinda draws a line.
You know what I mean?
Like, so I don't know if he took it personal
when Cam says something about him dropping an album
and I think it just kind of no holds barred.
He just went, he wasn't berserk after that.
Yeah.
What you think, Ojo?
You got to understand in that culture,
you already know what time it is, you know?
The ad meets the eye.
You say the wrong thing, I'ma say the wrong thing.
You say the right thing, I'ma say the right thing.
Respect is earned, it's not given.
Therefore, when you take shots, you have to be,
you expect the other individual that you-
So I'm coming back.
Someone's coming back.
That's the space that we live in.
Cam, he not gonna back down.
Gilly, we've known Gilly for a very long time.
What he does, he's not gonna back down.
You say something, he gonna say something back. You say something to Cam, he's going to say
something back. Ryan, I'm sure probably at some point he's going to respond. I'm assuming so,
or maybe not, because I'm assuming Ryan and Cam will probably have to see each other at some point
on ESPN, but still, that's just one topic. it won't cause any feud in the work environment other than that listen it's
entertainment at the end of the day nothing will probably
happen outside of those mics and in that space of podcasting
so I think listen it's a good jabbing war it's like it's a
good jabbing war may may the best man win in that
situation yeah I agree I agree with both of you guys. I hate when it gets personal.
You know, I hate when Cam, you know, Cam was a quarterback. Obviously, his influence is going
to be different than any other player on the field, regardless where round was drafted, regardless
of how many Pro Bowls. There's not any quarterback that's worth anything is gonna have more value basically than anybody else.
Cam was an MVP.
Cam wasn't a multiple time Pro Bowl player.
Yeah, Cam won the Heisman.
Cam, his accolades speak for themselves.
We don't know, we don't need to go off the list.
And for me, if Cam had just stuck like,
look, this is what I'm saying.
It's hard for me to evaluate Jalen Hurts
when he has so much talent around.
I'm not saying that he's not talented,
but it's easier for me to evaluate someone
when they don't have as much talent,
when they don't just have to turn around
and hand the ball off and have Saquon hit his head
on the goal post from 80.
Or he has these two receivers that's pro bowl receivers
or an offensive line that's as good
as that's ever been assembled.
Keep Ryan's accolades out of it.
Ryan, keep calm whether he did or did not
jump on that football.
Okay, we know that.
We know Cam didn't jump on the football.
And he said it.
If he could go back and do anything different
in his playing career,
that's the one thing that he would have done.
So if we wanna evaluate a player,
evaluate the player.
Say this is why, this is why.
Everybody's not gonna like your opinion.
Cause if you try, you can try to appease everybody, Ocho,
and the one person that's gonna be very disappointed
and upset is you.
Because when you try to please everybody,
the only person that's hurting is you, and disappointing is you. Yeah, you can to please everybody, the only person that's hurting is you and disappointed you.
You can't please everybody. You can't.
Nor should you attempt to.
Hell no.
Gilly, look, Gilly my guy. I love Gilly. I love Wallo. I talk to them brothers and they good people. They really are. Gilly take things like to the Eagles.
And I've been in a very similar situation one time before and it's probably one of the times
that I regret something that you know you somebody says something about a team or a player that you
like and then you take it personal. You take personal shots at them.
And then you have to realize,
okay, that man's entitled to his opinion.
That's his opinion.
Just because you feel passionate about this as a pro,
and he feels passionate about this as a negative,
it doesn't make you more right than him.
It doesn't make him more right than you.
That's his opinion.
I agree with you, Joe. I think when Kev like, well, hey bro, it doesn't make him more right than you. That's his opinion. I agree with you, Joe.
I think when, when Kev like, well, hey bro,
I can't let you out of your album.
I think that's why all the glows went out for Gilly.
He like, well bro, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
That's why he said, you not bigger than me in this.
And that's when it started to get real personal,
you could tell.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, we know it's gonna be some backing forth, man.
Jaylin Hurst is a very polarizing figure
because it's not like every other year,
I mean, think about it, we had Doug Wade,
and then we had a big low.
So we got 87, and then we had to go all the way to 2012
before we got another.
So we had to go almost three decades
before we got another black to win the Super Bowl
at the quarterback.
And then we got Mahomes, and now we got Jalen Hurts.
So it's not like it's just littered.
And so now it's like, you know,
and I think maybe RC and maybe Gilley feel like, man,
they be unfairly criticized.
Cause, excuse me,
when Tom won his first U-Bow,
they applauded him and he threw for a buck 42.
But we tried to find ways, but that's, I mean,
when you're an analyst, when you know,
your job is to critique and analyze,
the only thing I will say about this,
and this is what I always, never went to journalism school.
I didn't go to Syracuse, I didn't go to Missouri,
I didn't go to any one of these fancy journalism schools.
But this is what I do know, never become part of the story.
You see now, Cam, Ryan are part of the Jalen Hurts story.
This should be about Jalen Hurts.
But they've become a part of the story.
You stay away from the story.
You talk about it.
You critique you analyze, but you don't become a part of it.
The critiquing and the analyzation is why they're part of the Jalen Hurts story.
No, you can do that.
But see now we're not talking about them.
We're talking about what Cam and RC going back and forth.
Cam and Gilly the Kid going back and forth.
We-
I mean, they gonna squash that.
That ain't nothing.
That's all talk.
They gonna squash it.
It's not going anywhere outside of the space
in which we're doing right now.
And that's podcasting.
So that's a good thing.
Yeah, I agree.
But you see, hey, that podcast
doesn't got to be as serious as sports.
Absolutely.
Everybody got a mic, see that Joe?
Everybody got something to say.
And everybody like, hey, we the king of this,
we the king of that, and we started this,
and we started that.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know who started what,
but there's enough for everybody to give a piece of.
Yeah.
There's enough.
Hey, Henry Ford invented, well, he didn't invent the car.
He's first American, but there's Mercedes.
So you got Mercedes, you got BMW, you got Ferrari,
you got Lamborghini, you got Ford, you got Chevy,
you got Tesla.
And Tesla only came, Tesla is less than 20 years old.
And 10 times the value of damn near every,
Tesla can buy all the car dealership every every BMW
Mercedes Ferrari
Lambo and it's last to the market
But I hope you right oh, yeah, yeah, you know it ain't I hope you right
I will take your word for it because cuz you know how we are, Ocho.
We don't like to let stuff go.
We all like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
I don't like losing, Ocho.
I didn't say they wasn't gonna let it go.
I said it's not going anywhere outside of the space
of what we actually do.
That's that camera.
It's good.
If it's going to continue, it's gonna continue here,
which is a good thing, you know?
For though it's entertaining, it's going to continue, it's going to continue here, which is a good thing, you know? For though it's entertaining, it's fun,
it's attracting eyes and viewers
to each said individual's podcast
or people wanting to hear what's being said,
whether it's good or whether it's bad.
And at some point it'll die out
because football season is right around the corner.
You right about that?
Yeah.
But you, man, hey, you're something about us, man.
We, hey, we polarizing.
The thing, Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson.
Man.
Those conversations around those individuals
you just named, it gets very passionate.
Yes, yes.
It gets very passionate.
It gets very passionate.
It gets very passionate.
So we need to find me somebody that's passionate about me.
Like they passionate about Lamar and Jay Hertz.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, don't, I didn't, I didn't, I, I'll talk to you, man. No, I don't want nothing. Whenever you need, I'll talk to you, man. Don't, don't, don't want nothing.
I'll toss it for you now.
Don't don't do that.
You good.
I got to make sure I turn this
air on tonight.
I don't know what had going on down here.
Damn.
I feel like oh, man.
Listen, I listen when I when I when the show is on is two things.
I'm not gonna do.
I'm not gonna be using my electricity
and my AC unit at the same time.
I ain't finna run my goddamn bills, God has shit me.
Yeah, I'll be running mine.
No sir.
It's gonna be one or the other.
Hold on, hold on.
So you come home, Ocho, and it be,
how does I don't know what in the house?
Yeah, I ain't running my, man listen,
my light bill will never be over $100.
Never, ever.
I unplug everything out the sockets.
Everything.
If it's not big, I'm unplugging it.
I don't pay that much.
I can't even, I can't even joke.
I can't come home. I can't come
and then turn the AC on. Having it running, you wasting money,
you wasting electricity.
It's somebody here, it's always somebody here,
so we gotta keep it on, Ocho.
Check out Behind the Flow,
a podcast documentary series
following the launch of San Diego Football Club.
We go behind the scenes
and explore the stories of those involved.
San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer
because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team.
We need veteran players and we need young players.
Like, you're building a team from scratch
and so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined.
We need to embrace this community.
When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier, and we watched Paraguay against Chile, pouring
rain, just watching the fans jumping up and down.
I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me.
Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life.
Listen to San Diego FC Behind the Flow, now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts,

Yeah. All right, Ocho. Jamar Chase, ESPN's top rated receiver, has a bone to pick with Madden ratings adjuster, Ocho Seco. That's me. That's me. And here's a rating of him. Let's take a
listen to what Jamar had to say. That's me. I think I caught my rating and I called Chad right away
and I told him this is wrong rating. What was wrong about it? It wasn't 99.
Did you say he was going to fix it or?
I hope he is.
I mean, if he don't, I'm going to be mad at him.
Hey, I don't wait him on that.
I agree.
I think it should be about 99.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Hold on, man.
Hold on.
Now listen, what everyone did last season, right?
Obviously the updates will be in the new game.
The new game ain't even out yet.
His rating is based on what-
He'll be 99 then.
I don't know yet.
Based on he-
I know, because when Cooper Cup won the Triple Crown,
he was 99.
He finished, that was the following season after-
He might get that 100.
He might get that 100, Ocho. Hold on, hold on. Ain't Triple Count, he was 99. He finished, that was the following season after the Triple Count.
He might get that honey, Ocho.
Hold on, hold on, ain't no honey.
That's reserved for me, that's reserved for me, Ocho.
Hold on, let me finish, let me finish though.
Listen, so Chase, he called me with a little air in his chest, yeah?
So what I did, you call, you look at a little air in your chest, so I blocked him.
Yeah.
Yeah, so I had to block him, like listen, wait a minute, now hold on,
tighten up, now young fella, hold on, young boy.
So I'm gonna go back to my team, I'm gonna talk about,
I'm gonna talk with my team over at EA
and we're gonna discuss and see what we're gonna do
later on in the future.
Hold on, Ojo, you really over the rankings?
Oh yeah, only for the skill position.
Yeah, he wanted the adjustments.
Only for the skill position, receivers, DBs, yeah, only for the skill position. Only for the skill position. Receivers, DBs, only receiving the DBs.
Cause I know that.
I'm saying, so can you make somebody a hundred
and then like to where you can't even create?
Oh, 99.
No, the higher you get now, the higher you can go.
But I know a guy that's over here talking to you,
though, that was a hundred.
What the old Joe? What the ho?
Yeah, yeah, you was I you was I you.
Y'all need to give me some y'all need y'all need y'all need
to. Y'all need a grandfather me give me something for that. I
need something to hang on my wall.
I tell you what you send me my gifts. We'll make some special for you in the game.
Oh man.
Hold on. Listen, I told you. Listen, I do me a small favor. Send me my awards and I
send you money.
Hey, Ojo.
Where my money at?
Where I owe you what?
From finals, bro.
Oh, how much I owe you what? I'm from the finals, bruh. Oh, how much I owe you, Joe?
Well, if we went game for game,
I think we had like seven games.
I think we had like 700, 700, something like that.
They hunting for it.
They dating, Joe, it was each game.
What you talking about, Joe?
Joe tried to get up.
Joe tried to get up.
Joe tried to get up. Joe tried to get up. Joe tried to get up. He won all seven games. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. but this guy at least put a little interest on it. Come on now, Ocho.
Football season about to start back up and you still ain't paid, man, that's violation, bruh.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Stay with me, Nath, stay with me.
Joe, I promise you, when I come there for week one
and we go to the Falcons game against Tampa Bay,
boom, there it is right there.
You gonna roll with us on?
I got you.
Come on now.
What happened?
Are you gonna go into the game? What game won
at the Falcons in the no in the
in the books? Oh Joe. Hey, oh
Joe man. I can't be going to
no games man. I don't look. I
like watching the game. I get
better enjoyment watching the
day. He said we got a little
bit of a man. Man, we watching you. He said we gotta work with
you, man. man. We can work.
Yeah, we gotta work. I don't
man. I'm I'm bougie as hell,
man. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. We'll
go to the game. I can get I can
get a sideline passing. Joe.
We'll get sideline passes. Joe
can't stand on the damn sideline
with that **** **** I'm going to
push him in the field. What you mean? Hey, Joe. Joe, you just had surgery.
You in a, you in a, you not weight bearing.
For the first six weeks I got a wet as a splint on my leg.
But once I got, September.
Exactly.
You do gonna be.
September, September.
I'm gonna be getting up out this splint and boo wee.
Nah, Joe, nah, Joe.
And guess what?
Guess what?
You do realize when you're on the sideline,
you got a dodge guy.
All right, just tell, hey, uh, uh, uh,
you want me to stay home?
Just tell me to stay home.
Hey, hey, all right, I'll keep you.
No, I want you to get your ass up
and get your ass up with a sweep.
No, I'm talking about in free game, Joe,
I'm gonna push you in the wheelchair on the sideline
and say, we're gonna play this.
Nah!
He ain't doing nothing there.
You think I'm gonna go in there like, nah, nah, nah.
Now you go, you know you can be cool in the wheelchair now.
Hey, he in the wheelchair like Paul.
If I gotta go anywhere in the wheelchair,
I might as well stay home.
I ain't doing it, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, nah.
What's wrong with this man?
Wow.
Hold on.
There's a report DMs have leaked showing former Memphis DB,
Tajay Rah El allegedly send the USTA's quarterback,
Owen McHale their team's playbook for their game.
Hey, you think that's real? That as AI, you know, man, technology.
So here you go though.
That's all the signals far left is coverages.
I've seen you a better list showing the call,
but when they run quarters and none of the safeties
can throw between no every route, blah, blah, blah, blah.
But let me know if
USTA, I think that's universities, blah, blah, blah. Bad living North. USTA, I think that's University of Texas San Antonio,
ending up winning the game, 94 to 36.
What do you boys got going on, man?
You think that's real though?
Has this been confirmed?
Allegedly, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Allegedly.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Cause if this was real,
it would have made a lot more noise
and caught a lot more traction.
I don't know if it's,
I mean, we have to see when it got released.
Cause maybe nobody knew about it.
Damn.
I don't know what's going on in the cast today, man.
These cast, they- they having a good time.
I can also, Hey, these boys in college living
their best life man.
We tried something.
Yeah.
Yeah. Do you see the story about Malik Beasley?
How he owed these people money.
He owed the barber 20 something thousand.
I'm not how much demand.
If you owe a barber $27,000,
you ain't paid this man since you was a kid
all the way to now.
This man done cut your hair for 30 years for free.
Ain't no way in hell.
He must do something besides cut hair too.
Ain't no way.
Yeah, man.
I'm like, come on, bro.
Look, I mean, normally you fly the guy.
I don't know how you guys do it, but the way it works,
like if you fly your barber out,
you have to pay him for all the haircuts that he missed.
So if he comes out, he was gonna cut hair on Friday,
he was gonna cut hair on Saturday.
You making him miss that,
you got to compensate that man for that.
That's what I did.
I fly my barber out, I fly him in, I give him a rental car
and all the haircuts, all the money
that he would have made cutting hair,
I compensated for that.
Massage therapist, it's the same thing.
So I don't know, you can't fly a barber out
and say, okay bro, here's $100, or here's $300.
No, you have to pay him for the cuts that he lost
out on Friday and Saturday.
Even if you, even by his flight, yeah.
Yeah. Yes. And you got, his flight, yeah. Yeah.
Yes.
And you got, you put him up.
I mean, Joe stayed, you know, Joe stayed at the house.
But when I was in Baltimore, I would fly him in.
He's from Harrisburg.
Joe would come in.
He cut my hair like September,
like September the 1st of October.
We started losing.
I said, Ian, you bad luck.
You can come in, but you ain't cut my hair no more.
I got him a rental car.
He go see his, he go to Hatchburg.
It was like a 40 minute drive.
I see him at the game.
He up out of there.
But I, but $28,000.
I don't know how you get up to that number.
I don't know.
Yeah, I don't either Joe.
I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, I don't either Joe. I don't either.
Man, these guys be,
I don't know what these guys on man.
Man, listen.
That's a lot of bread.
$28,000 for haircut?
That's why I say he gotta do something more than cut hair.
I can't relate.
You know, I cut my own hair.
I got my tea line of clippers.
I got my tea line of clippers I've had for years.
And whenever I got to go somewhere, I just cut it myself, man.
Matter of fact, I need a haircut right now.
I got to shoot in New York tomorrow.
I got to shoot in New York tomorrow all the way to Monday.
Take care of my business.
I'm going to shave up, do some stuff.
Man United, I'm going to watch Man United play.
I'm doing some stuff with ESPN on Monday.
So I'm going to be on ESPN. I'm going to get my ESPN on Monday, you know, so, you know, I'm gonna
be on ESPN, I'm gonna get my makeup, get my hairline together, do that, whatnot. So, you
know.
Yeah, like I said, I don't know if there's any truth for this, but if it, I mean, it's
gonna come out. But guys, you're gonna get pinged. If you're an athlete and they like,
hold on, this guy, somebody keep betting the under
or somebody keep betting this,
there's a pattern to this, Ocho.
And you, Ocho, but you making 16,
you making seven, eight, $10 million.
Come on, man.
Y'all willing to risk that?
Gambling, y'all know how gambling, y'all know.
That's taboo, Ocho. risk that? Gambling, y'all know how to gamble. Y'all know.
That's taboo, Ocho.
In sports, you could do a lot of things,
but you can't do that.
Yeah, yeah. And listen, everybody has a vice.
And a lot of players have a vice when it comes to gambling.
I'm not sure why.
A lot of players have a vice when it comes to drinking.
I'm not sure if that's a vice when it comes to drinking.
I'm not sure if that's a vice or considered a vice, but anytime it gets in the way of what you do
and it gets in the way of your will, it's harmful.
I don't see how gambling could be that exciting
when you make such an abnormal amount of money
to where the small amounts you make gambling, it wouldn't be that fun.
How is it even that fun?
But I don't know.
I get game, I get game.
You playing poker, you playing blackjack,
a million dollars a hand.
So in 30 seconds, boom, I won a million dollars.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, time out.
Time out, who the hell playing blackjack with a million dollars a hand. So in 30 seconds, boom, I want a million. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, time out. Time out. Who the hell playing blackjack with a million
dollars a hand?
Oh, there are people that play 250, 500,000. Yeah. They're called Wales.
Like a video game? Like a real life?
Real life. But they got video game poker too.
Ain't nobody paying no man. Come on. Come on now. Come on now. Come on, man.
I'm talking about the back room back there.
They playing back there.
Oh yeah, for sure.
Oh yeah, them big whales come in there.
Big who?
They'll mess up your quarterly earnings.
Baccarat, yeah.
Poker, they come in there.
Oh yeah, it's the excitement.
It's the thrill of it.
It's like skydiving.
It's like racing cars or something like that.
You get an adrenaline rush.
Where is the goddamn excitement and adrenaline rush
and losing a million to 500,000 in one hand?
But what if you win a million dollars 500,000?
Who got the goddamn money?
Come on.
All right, that ain't my business.
Boy, they got plenty of people got money like that.
There used to be a place out there, Binions.
Binions was the only place that I've ever heard
that your first bet could be it.
So you come in there and says,
I want to bet a million dollars on the crap table,
on the blackjack table, he would accept it.
Hey, any- You ought to go to Vegas and let him tell you the story about a dude named Arnie. There's a dude named Arnie and he had Arnie Arnie.
Arnie. Arnie. No, not or orny. His name was Ornie. He was an immigrant.
But anyway, he was up on the horseshoe
probably 30, 40 million dollars.
They had to go to his room to get $5,000 and $2,500 chips
because he had them all.
He wasn't satisfied.
He said, I want all the money.
He lost it all back.
Yeah, like he was up like 30, 40 million dollars.
You deadass?
Yep.
When he said, yeah.
The story is.
And he lost it all back?
Lost it all back.
Where he at? Where he at now?
You'd be a hot tail lump out of that when you're off.
Yes. Oh yeah.
Hot tailing. I wouldn't have been there taking that goddamn chance.
Cause if you got the money to be able to bet that what the fuck I'm doing in the first place.
Oh Joe, that you see like you do like your excitement. You say you like riding bulls
and you like doing things for excitement. There you go. See. Matter of fact, do me a favor.
If somebody's gonna see this for those of you that are whales,
if you see this, could you please send me a DM?
I would love just to sit there and watch.
That's exciting to me.
You might be bad luck.
Why would I be bad luck?
Everything I touch turns to gold.
Well, yeah.
Larry Flynn used to be like that. Who was Larry Flynn? Oh, well, yeah.
Larry Flynn used to bet like that. Who was Larry Flynn?
Used to be, what was it, Penhouse or Hustlers?
Oh, I know who you talking about.
Okay, okay, okay.
Yeah, okay, I know who you talking about.
Kerry Packard, the Australian billionaire.
They probably, they doing it for fun, man.
I mean, they gonna wanna win a little bit,
but they don't mind losing a few
May you see Drake may you see Drake be betting three bed bed millions of betting five hundred thousand million dollars
Yeah, Mayweather
I've heard the Jordan stories, but Jordan his the revenue the history of income is different
It's he he can he can
Got this bet they got way more, but the guys that be
bad like this, they got more money than Jordan.
Yeah.
It's the thrill, man.
The thrill.
They get a thrill.
Yeah, they do.
Yeah.
That ain't me.
I know I stopped.
I used to go out there, you know, I go out there and bet, you know, I bet, you know,
Hey, I was like, Hey, Shannon you know, I'll bet, you know. I was like, hey, Shannon in the NFL,
Shannon got kids in private school,
Shannon got kids going to college.
College for her just go.
I ain't listen, I'm putting out a PSA.
If you are a whale and you gamble, I would love,
I just wanna see it.
I just wanna be there.
Obviously, you know, I don't know.
You know who gambles like that?
Gambles like 75, 100, 150 thousand dollar hand?
Dana White.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, see, I'm not trying to see that.
I ain't trying to see that.
I'm trying to see the people that gamble 500 thousand
to a million dollars a hand.
I want to see that in person.
But see, they, a lot of times they like,
they don't want people to know
because they don't want nobody at the casino to get them.
What you mean get them, huh?
So I fly you in on a private jet,
I pick you up, bring you in,
because if you got that kind of money,
I don't want the other casinos to know you.
Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
I don't want nobody to know who you are.
That's real damn. You're real, they real. I don't want nobody to know who you are. That's, that's, that's real.
Damn.
You're real, they real.
I gotta keep that to myself.
In fact, hey, speaking of gambling,
speaking of gambling, I mean, obviously I don't do it,
but this movie was phenomenal.
This movie was very, very good.
What rounders?
The Gambler.
Please tell me you saw the Gambler.
We had to keep going to the shark.
And I think he went to his mama for the last,
I think her last 250,000.
She said, this is the last 250,000 I000 to give you. He got beat up by the
shark. Michael K Mike K Williams was in it. Yo, my Oh, man, that
that movie was good. My work. And that was like, people in the
real world can't be like this. That's impossible. Yeah, you
lost money. Then you go, you go borrow money again. Just put the money back, you just lost.
That's how you get in debt to the shark.
That's how you get in debt to the man.
Man, please.
I don't want no part of it.
Oh, no.
You remember the movie Rhymes, right?
Yeah, I watched Rhymes.
I never saw that one.
I never saw that one.
Yeah, Rhymes. Oh, man.
Matt Damon, he played Ed Norton.
He played that. You gotta watch that. Ed Norton, Ed, he played in it. Norton. Hey, Edward. Edward.
No one was in it.
And nor yeah Edward Norton, the one from Primo fear with Richard gear.
Yes, yes. Yeah, he can act like him.
I gotta rounders round real good.

following the launch of San Diego Football Club.
We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved.
San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team.
We need veteran players and we need young players.
Like, you're building a team from scratch,

Dwayne Wade says Kobe is a top three player of all time and goes off on bleacher report for
ranking him 11th on their all-time list. If you ask us Hooper who played against Kobe, all of us
are going to talk top three of all time. I agree. Yeah. So what about the guys that played against
Kareem? Where are we going to rank Kareem? All the guys that played all the guys that played against Kareem where we gonna rank Kareem all the guys that played all the guys that played
against Jordan
Somebody so I'm not saying Kobe should be 11. I'm not look whatever the case may be but
You see what your you see what Jordan Jordan got number one
And I think the lowest rank was like two or three LeBron the highest he ranked was two
Maybe the lowest he ranked was like two or three LeBron the high C rank was two. Maybe the lower C rank was like three
so
For the most part people have been having Jordan going back and forth. Okay, wherever you go. I look you can debate this until the cows come home
But and I've said this Joe the guy that gets undervalued the most is Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Yep
I agree cuz he had he had the he had the scoring record for the longest.
Had it for 40 years until LeBron broke it.
Yeah, what he got?
He had it for almost 40 years.
Nobody thought, they didn't think nobody, first of all,
big guys played that long because after you get
to a certain point, hey, Kareem, Hey,
Kareem get the rebound and kick it out.
Hey, magic will hold that thing up.
Let Kareem get down there to the block.
Kareem throw that hand up.
They throw it to him.
He throw the sky hook, go back down.
Nobody thought anybody was going to break it because even when Carmelone got
close, Carmelone body fell apart.
Kobe started falling apart.
Jordan started, body started breaking down.
So that ain't nobody gonna break it.
They didn't think nobody could break it.
But he got six MVPs, six.
He got more than anybody.
And back then, that was the last year
that the players were allowed to vote.
The players just vote for the MVP, Joe.
They don't let it happen no more.
No, because in 62, was it 62?
I think, no, no, no, no.
I don't understand why the players can't vote.
They think it's favoritism?
Yeah. You don't think they'll keep you real, huh?
Nope, they not.
Cause of my friend, my buddy.
That's how it was for the Pro Bowl.
Hey, my man, hey, such and such.
Hey man, make sure you vote for such and such.
No, y'all ain't gonna keep it real.
Let's be real.
We got friends and they on the ballot.
I'm gonna vote for him.
Hey, plus he had a contract year knowing
that if he makes first or second team all NBA,
guess what he gets?
He gets a Super Mario contract.
But then here's the thing,
then we leave it in the hands of people
who've never played in the sport before.
And now you still gonna have a drawback from that.
You not gonna, yeah, you not gonna be able to appease
everybody.
Somebody gonna be upset with what you say.
So let me ask you this, Joe.
You played the game.
Where were you ranked?
In front of all those guys.
So you got him in the top five.
I was thinking more like two-guardish.
I didn't know we was talking about the whole league.
Yeah, see, they didn't write position.
They ranked the top, what was it?
The top 25, the top 100?
Ash, can you pop the list up right?
Okay, here it is.
There was the top 100.
Number one was Michael Jordan.
Number two was LeBron James.
Number three was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Number four was Magic Johnson.
Number five was Shaquille O'Neal.
Number seven is Tim Duncan.
Number 11 is Larry Bird.
Number nine is Wilt Chamberlain.
Number 10 is Stephen Curry.
Number 11 was Kobe Bryant.
That's tough.
I don't know, I got to,
I might have to put him in that top 10. I don't know who I got to, I might have to put him in that top 10.
I don't know who I'm taking out.
You better see that's the thing.
Ocho, what we do?
We got to pick somebody.
If you bring somebody in.
What's that?
Yeah.
What is that?
You can see that?
It's blurry.
Damn.
What is it?
Me and Kobe sitting there arguing at News Cafe.
Yeah.
Who you taking out?
You taking out Jordan?
You taking out LeBron?
Kareem?
Magic?
Russell?
Shaq?
Duncan?
Bird?
Will?
Curry.
Because I guarantee you guys that played
against Magic Johnson say Magic Johnson's not coming
out of the top five.
Guys that played against Shaq.
Tim Duncan is very underrated.
Very underrated.
Larry Bird.
I mean, what we doing with Will?
Will average, what did you mean will average?
You want an MVP as a rookie.
I think the average is like 40 and 27.
Who gonna get 24 hours rebounds?
Man, nobody getting that, man.
The numbers he put up was,
you might as well just start over.
Say you know what?
We want somebody to really realistically have a chance of getting rebounds.
And so, because you're not going to get it.
But even if you did that, ain't nobody going to catch Kareem.
Ain't nobody going to catch, ain't no rebounds.
First of all, the guys shoot too well now.
They don't miss that many shots.
In order for you to get the,
Will got the record with 55 rebounds in a game.
Nobody's getting 55 rebounds in a game.
I can't remember, I can't remember,
I don't know if anybody, I can't,
I think the most rebounds I think somebody's gotten
that I can remember is probably 34, 35.
So just think, you still 15 rebounds short.
So you're not gonna get that.
The question is, if we put Kobe in the top 10,
who we taking out?
That's a good question.
Because if you look at it, if you look at it,
let's be real, only two guys, only one guy in the top 10
got one regular season MVP,
that's Shaq, but he got three post season MVPs.
Mike got five, Jordan got four, Kareem's got six,
Magic's got three, Russell's got five,
Duncan's got three, Duncan's got two MVPs I think,
two regular season, Bird got three, Wilt has four, Steph Curry has two.
Okay.
Finals MVPs, Jordan has six, LeBron has four,
Kareem has two, Magic has three.
They didn't have that with Russell.
Shaq has three, Duncan has three, Bird has two.
They didn't have that.
They had, I think Wilt had a chance to get it once.
So, and Curry has one finals MVP.
It's tougher than you think.
It really is, because it can't just be about scoring. It's got to be about all-star games,
finals, finals, MVPs, regular season MVPs, all MBAs. I think all that has to factor in.
So what, so let's just say for the sake of argument, we gonna put him in the top 11.
Are we kicking Steph out?
Are we kicking Will out?
We kicking Larry out?
We kicking Duncan, Shaq, Russell, Magic?
We kicking out Duncan?
I gotta get Bean in there some way somehow.
Well, you gotta take somebody out.
It's okay if you take LeBron.
No, no, no.
Jordan, Kareem, Magic.
No.
We gonna get him in, but we gonna get him in the I just think, I think it's hard. I think it's hard.
Yeah.
And errors, errors makes it difficult because people are like, well, I can't take Bill Russell
out.
He got 11 championships.
He got 11 championships and five MVPs.
Shaq was as dominant as anybody that's ever played the game.
Tim Duncan, two and three.
15 time all defensive selection.
Bird was the last guy to win three consecutive MVPs.
Wilt won four.
Steph had got two.
What's the chat saying?
That's a hell of a class to be in, boy.
Yeah, chat is saying take Steph out.
Take Steph out to put Kobe in there.
Hey, I don't understand why Kobe Bryant
is getting so much disrespect with all these
lists with him being sprayed so long.
What's disrespectful, Ojo?
The people that actually played against Kobe actually have him much higher than those that
didn't play against him.
But here's the thing.
A lot of this happened when Kobe passed because I remember when Kobe
was alive people saying he was a ball hog and he was selfish.
The very people that said he was a ball hog and selfish, they praised and lauded him in
depth when they didn't give him that praise and adulation when he was alive.
They say Kobe is top three.
So D Wade, who are you taking out of the top three?
You taking Jordan, LeBron or Kareem out?
Because you said he's top three.
That's what I need to know.
Ain't taking neither one of them out.
Listen, knowing D Wade, just based off,
he would probably take Kareem out.
The man that was the all time leading scorer?
Despite exactly what you're getting ready to say, yes.
With six MVPs.
Yes.
With five championships.
Yes.
The all time leading scorer.
He ain't taking them out, Ojo.
You don't think so?
You take a LeBron out.
Four regular season MVPs, four finals MVPs,
21 time All-Star, 21, no, 21 time All-Star,
21 time All-NBA selection.
You know what?
Three finals, three finals, three All-Star game MVPs.
You taking Jordan out.
10 times score.
You ain't gotta talk. You ain't got.
Okay, so I just want to know.
D Wade said he's top three.
I just want to know who he's taking out of the top three to put Kobe in.
I'm going to have to ask D Wade that.
I don't know.
I'm having a hard time getting him in the top three.
I get it. Hey, you know what? I'm for now I'm for asking.
Because the way you do it like okay such a such you to me because you y'all do it usually some Joe such a such you to me the All Star game okay if I take the All Star team if I take if I put him in who am I taking out.
Oh Joe we do this all the time with the pro bowl. Ocho say, man, such a son should have made it.
I say, well, Ocho, who you taking out?
I get it.
Yeah, it gets tough.
So forget the top 10.
D-Way didn't say he should have been top 10.
D-Way said he should have been top three.
So with that being said,
that means Jordan,
LeBron or Kareem has to come out.
If he can't, there's no way around it.
Cause you can't have, I don't think that,
maybe they did a little later now,
but nobody would, they had, you know,
okay, but two guys at number four,
two guys at number 12 or 13.
Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul- He probably gonna- I'm telling you, you guys at
that you just ran down. I guarantee you.
People don't realize how good Kareem was.
He was gonna win the third MVP had he not messed his ankle up because go back and look at the numbers when Magic won the finals MVP.
Go back and look at Kareem's numbers.
Ballin'
33 and 14.
That's what he was averaging.
Yeah.
Kareem had some years where he was 32 and 16.
Like I said, just go back and look at Kareem's career.
Look, I understand.
A lot of people didn't like Kareem.
A lot of people didn't like that he changed his name
because he wasn't originally Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He was a very surly. He didn't get along understand a lot of people that like Kareem, a lot of people that like that he changed his name because he wasn't originally Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
He was a very surly, he didn't get along with a lot.
Kareem ain't taking no jump.
Go back, you did something to Kareem,
Kareem was punching you in your face.
It was really that simple.
He rubbed a lot of reports.
That's why he didn't get no job.
That's why he didn't get no head coach job.
Think about all the greats that wanted to coach,
got an opportunity to coach.
Bill Russell, Sam Jones, Jerry West,
Casey Jones, Tom Hineson.
There were a lot of greats.
Elgin Baylor, a lot of the greats that wanted to.
Kareem never got that opportunity.
Larry Bird, Magic Johnson.
He was a bad boy, man.
He probably had the one.
The media did like the media.
The players loved it.
The players loved it.
You know how I know the players loved him, Ocho?
They voted him six times MVP.
Yeah.
That man was gonna stop.
But that's what I,
I, D Wade, the night camp crew,
Ocho, Joe and myself,
you said Kobe is top three.
I need to know who you take it out of that top three.
That's it.
Somebody's gotta come out.
You can't have four guys in the top three.
And I'm gonna tell you now, check you now, MJ made the game sexy.
He ain't taking MJ out of that.
Okay.
You know he ain't taking Brian out of that.
That man, every bucket he's go is in history books.
Like everything.
He just, he got a, Joe, he got a cake
and he done got ice on it.
And all he do is just keep having time.
Hey, every time he touched the flow.
Yeah.
He just, hey, he gonna make it,
he making it harder and harder for the next person
who even think they gonna catch him.
What?
Yes.
And the All-Star games.
Do you realize, the man got 21 straight start All-star game starts is not gonna happen ladies and gentlemen
No, sir and Kareem got 19 starts in the all-star game
Shaq has some words for Rudy go bear. Let's take a listen to what Shaq had to say about Rudy. I f***ing hate Rudy Gobert.
Why don't you like Rudy though?
Because I'm a f***ing 250.
You don't deserve it though.
As the president of the big man lions, you're making big money.
Play like a f***ing big man.
That's it.
Play like a f***ing big man.
Throw some bowls, knock some people out.
Don't be letting little white dudes from Denver dunk on you and talk s*** to you.
Then you gotta grab them by the neck in a second.
Come on, bro.
That's it.
If you go get paid big money, play big.
I just want Shaq to still be on TV when Rudy gets into the Hall of Fame
because it's going to be Rudy Gobert gets into the Hall of Fame.
It's at all.
Go back into the Hall of Fame.
I wear this dress to the mother ceremony.
They're ready. Hey, look, you're right. I'll wear this dress to the mother ceremony. Get ready Jack.
Hey look, I think with Shaq,
because Rudy's not an offensive guy,
meaning he ain't shooting the ball outside the paint.
So they ain't never gonna get Rudy no credit on that.
He is a defensive big.
He's, hey, hey, timing is everything, man.
You know, he came along at the right time.
But if you look at him to officially while you,
when you think he got, has a mismatch,
I think that's kind of like what Shaq thinking.
He like, man, he dominating the game.
Like you can pay 200 something million.
You can't dominate.
Shaq like Shaq was going up two people, three people.
If you didn't have at least three people on Shaq,
Shaq was gonna go down.
It wasn't even fair.
You, every team that Shaq played against,
they had three bigs.
They had 18 files to give, Ocho.
Yeah.
Cause two guys filing.
Hey listen.
Or they gonna have 10 files.
Ocho, I came in at 01, that was Shaq.
Shaq was still in like the prime of him.
That was the apex Shack.
2001, two, three.
Yeah.
You can give it up, brother.
We gonna try to get you as much help as we can.
You got to fight him.
Yeah.
It was unreal to try and stop that dude.
He was so huge and agile.
I was like, it was unreal, bro.
It was unreal.
All right, that's fine.
Shaq, Shaq ain't gonna let it go.
And the thing is, here's the problem
that you're running to, deserve.
I mean, deserve is a very, very tricky word.
Yeah.
Cause sometimes we get God's mercy and grace
when we don't deserve it.
I look at it like this.
My notepad, man.
Rudy's earned the money based on what they pay.
His body of work, he's earned 100 million, 200 million,
whatever they pay him.
Shaq, if you waiting on somebody to be like you,
you never gonna see it with your own eyes in your lifetime.
Hey, hey, analytically, when they look at it
from that point of view, he dominates the game.
You know what I mean?
I mean, you know.
Yes.
So they looking at it from a deeper perspective nowadays, but I kind of understand what Sha mean? I mean, you know, yes, so they looking at from a different perspective nowadays, but I
Yes, I kind of I kind of understand what Shaq is talking about but Rudy's just not an offensive guy, bro
He can't he's going outside that paint period
And you know what it is Joe and it looks worse in this era because the scoring is up
Yeah, see if he was back in Shaq's era. Yeah, he been perfect. Yeah
going is up. See, if he was back in Shaq's era, he'd been perfect.
Cause they never say the thing about Rick Smiths.
They didn't say the thing about Dwight Howard.
But Dwight had some years where he was 20,
he averaged 20 points in 12, 14 rebounds.
So Dwight Howard was always more of an offensive threat
than Rudy Gobert.
But you look at Ben Wallace.
So he's looking at it in today's time when you got four or five guys
average at 30 and you got 15, 20, 30, 20 guys average at 20.
And Shaq like, bro, you seven, three, you seven, one, seven, three.
And bro, you giving 12 points a game.
And so Shaggy look at it like, bro, for 250,
if that Shaggy's looking at it,
this is like Shag's thinking.
Shag's saying, if they had played me 250,
I'd give 40 a night.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
That's how Shaggy's thinking.
Hey, y'all think these guys,
look at these contracts and the money
that these dudes making nowadays,
if y'all don't think they look at it
and kind of frowned upon at some of them,
they can't help it, because you can only
put yourself in that position.
Like man, if I was around this time,
I'd be making X amount of, you know what I mean?
Yeah. Yes.
But what you think, what you think Will,
Mr. Russell was thinking,
when they making $20,000 a year
and they see guys making 17, 18 million a year.
The same thing, don't draw me, look,
I'm looking at these guys now,
we talking about George Kittle, he's making 19 million.
Ozzy and Kellan and Mike Dicka and John Mackie,
they looking at me when I was making the money I was making.
And guess what? in 10 years from now
They're gonna be a guy making 100 million dollars a year in basketball
a hundred
Yeah, because they say ant man could possibly be making 82 million in 2027 season
2728 ant man could possibly get the highest contract 82 million a year a million dollars a game. Yeah, man
Hey 82 million a year, a million dollars a game. Yeah, man. Hey, hey man, we have to pay respects
to the people who came before us,
cause man, hey, the money these dudes making now boy, hey.
It's ridiculous.
Shaq also bet Mike Tyson that Klay Thompson's
new relationship with Mag Thee Stallion
won't last more than six weeks.
Man, why Shaq be, man?
Why Shaq act like this?
Shaq funny.
Shaq funny.
Shaq funny.
Hey man, just give us an opinion, man.
Klay out there in the gym, they going golf
and they doing all kinds of stuff.
Yeah, I'm happy for them.
Play living the best life, man.
You know what I mean?
I mean, that's it.
Yeah, yeah.
I think it's different now.
I think with social media,
do I think like athletes dated like celebs and entertainers?
Sure, but they kept it hush hush.
When no, now you can get a picture anywhere now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Now I think now Joe and Ocho, it's, hey,
you cross or you're an athlete or something,
you wanna date a Magda Stagg or you to date a Glorilla or you want to date,
you know, whomever.
I don't want to throw nobody's name out there because like, you know,
she's somebody trying to be messy.
So, but I'm just saying if you were an athlete and you were, uh,
Saul's garden is dating somebody.
He dating somebody.
What?
I think so.
You can't.
Yeah.
So in a situation, you go out to eat, you, yeah, I might just be in the,
as my grandma say, the coding phase.
Y'all, you don't know, you know what I mean?
You can't do nothing nowadays, Ocho.
Nah, nah, nah, but listen, if you want to hide,
it's hiding is possible if you really want to hide.
Yeah. But, but see, but here's the thing, Ocho,
a lot of people like, what you hide me from?
Do you got something that you tried me,
you don't want people to know about me?
You got somebody over here?
Yeah, of course they do.
Nah, nah, nah, they ain't all the time, man.
Nah, sometimes, I know.
Some people just like they privacy, bro.
They do, Ocho.
Everybody don't wanna be like you out there like that. Ocho, dead serious, bro. Some people really like to gonna lie bro. They do
everybody don't want to be like
you out there like that. Oh
Joe dead serious bro. Some
people really like to chill bro
they don't really be in there
for the for the for the hoopin
and hollering bro for real.
Yeah. Okay. Alright. I'm gonna
let you know this bad boy be
so you mean tell me nowadays
when when people date if I ain't got you splattered all over my,
then that mean I'm doing something I ain't got no business. As a matter of fact, even if you are splattered
all over the profile, it ain't stopping nothing,
it ain't changing nothing.
It ain't changing nothing.
What you not gonna do is sit on here and act like,
come on now, don't, no, we ain't gonna do that.
No, Ocho, I'm not saying that that doesn't happen,
but some people like their privacy.
That's all.
Everybody don't wanna date publicly.
Everybody don't wanna be in a public relationship
because guess what?
Because the moment you make it public,
you get everybody feel like they have the ability
to chime in.
And so if you break up, if you break up,
if you date publicly, what you gotta do?
How you break up, Ocho?
Ain't nothing wrong with me, publicly.
How do I do it?
But everybody don't like that, Ocho.
I like it, it don't bother me, I like it.
Okay, that's you.
I go through the same stuff, the regular people,
I'm regular too, but we all go through the same shit.
What am I hiding for?
It ain't that hard, they just might deal with it internally.
It ain't necessarily. No, no.
Just like when you say, hey, some people grieve differently.
Listen, it's good though if you date publicly, you break up publicly,
then you have your supporters to help you cope. See, boom, there you go. See? Why you want to
break up
and then you sitting at home crying.
You ain't gotta be doing all that.
You ain't gotta do all that.
And who's to say you not doing that
even though you putting on that front?
Right.
I don't know, I don't do no crying.
I'm just saying, I don't like your tone towards me.
No, I'm just saying, just because you out there,
you said a lot of times people
be doing things publicly
and privately.
They broke.
They unhappy.
Yeah.
OK.
Oh, no.
That's why I'm looking at you
know the hell no damn way.
You're saying I'm just
saying I think everybody
should stop hiding if they stop
hiding. You know, you do everything publicly. Then you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. I'm just saying I think everybody should stop hiding if they stop hiding
You know you do everything publicly then you yeah, you know exactly what you're getting yourself into
There's that's why they're two different words private and public
Because if everybody wanted to do what they wouldn't need
Slow most of the time they want to be private so can keep everything else they got going on nice and hush hush. No. Yeah. And just because you public, and just because you public, that don't mean you do you
still doing that. Yeah, you're right. You're right. All depending on who you are. Let's get out of
here on this one. Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. Now it's time for Q&A.
Man, don't show off some bulljab.
and a metal Jones and bulljab
just living ah Jay Breeze say so glad to have our own big three back we miss you ISO we wish you a super fast recovery guys what match are you most excited to, to come this NFL season?
It's season.
Oh, at the gate.
You got, what's he calling me?
You got Baltimore Buffalo at the gate.
Yeah, we got, who the cowboys got from?
Yeah, I think the cowboys got,
I think the cowboys opened up with our Dallas.
What do you mean we opened up with Dallas?
Cowboys opened up with who?
The Eagles. The Eagles. On Thursday night. Yeah. I think that's, I think that's what we're talking about. What do you mean we open up with Dallas Cowboys open over who
Eagles oh
I think that's what I'm looking forward to man. I'm looking for these boys to get off to a great star. You hear me
Y'all okay. Come on. Come on now. You gotta cheer
We play
It fairly they stay whoever win the Super Bowl open up at home, okay, okay
They go put hey look, that's really good time to go in there and pop them to why they why they celebrating
They got a lot going on that week. Probably got family all the time. I will come there and top them It might be a good game to get
No
No, so who do you go put up with as you say the Cowboys at the Eagles on Sunday night football? the The Cowboys are at the Eagle on Thursday night. Ooh, that's gonna be a big game. And then you got, that's gonna be,
that's gonna do a monster number.
Yeah, big number.
A monster.
Boy, I know Fox like,
woo Lord have mercy, how y'all get that game?
How we get that game?
Y'all want to bet something?
And then, hold on, do Buffalo,
is Buffalo at, is the Ravens at Buffalo?
Is that Sunday night or is that a CBS game?
I know they ain't finna get NBC, the Cowboys,
Eagle and Baltimore, Buffalo.
Oh my gosh.
Back to back to back. Yes. Oh yeah. And I
think I think now they'll flex
they'll flex Thursday night
games late in the season
because you know they flexed
Sunday night games. Oh, I think
now they have the ability to
flex Thursday.
You know what I just thought about? What?
Remember I asked you that idea,
what can I can do for our age group?
Like streaming wise?
You trying to be a streamer?
Like, no, I already stream, I already stream anyway.
I mean, that's why I'm playing video games.
I'm talking about like moving, like moving around. What's why I'm playing video games. I'm talking about moving around.
What if I go to all the games?
Go ahead.
You gonna come with me?
No, no, no, no.
I wanna critique.
I like to critique.
I'm gonna critique too.
Ocho, it's hard to watch all the games
when you at a stadium.
It's virtually impossible.
Because people talking to you,
they wanna know what you think.
But you do what you feel you need to do.
Oh, they got a Friday game too.
The Chiefs played the Chargers on YouTube.
So they got a Thursday, a a Friday and then they Sunday Wow who the
Monday night game the Monday night Minnesota at Chicago I'm Cowboys That's all y'all doing. We're gonna get Michael took care of,
he just need to hold on, Mike.
Nah, nah, they already told him,
y'all don't talk about the,
just because we signed it up,
Jerry said without me,
what's gonna happen?
Y'all know that man gonna be paid for the game one.
I don't know nothing.
Well, he ain't even practicing.
Hey.
He ain't even practicing.
That's okay.
No, it ain't okay, because he gonna go from zero to 100 miles an hour without practice.
That's the problem.
Okay.
Nick Mars says I love Ocho but the fact that brought your high school jersey just to make
you mad gives him nightcap trash talk championship.
Yeah, somebody send him his jersey.
After I bought the jersey, Joe,
he told me, send me, send him his jersey.
I bought those.
I don't know where you bought them from.
It doesn't matter.
They're mine.
I purchased them.
Okay, well, can I have them?
No.
I bought them.
You got a signature on them, Mark?
No, it's his high school jerseys.
He at least got a sign.
No, I don't want him to sign.
I just like having him.
Cobb Sadie said, at this point,
Ocho owes the chat some money also.
He does, he owe y'all.
Nate San Fran, SF said,
if we can name another top seven quarterback
who threw for under 3000 yards and 20 touchdowns
in a season, but won the Subo MVP, then Cam is wrong.
If not, then he's correct.
But the Subo MVP is different.
The Subo MVP is the Super Bowl. But the Super
They're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, I don't get.
Through, under 3000 yard name, another top seven quarterback.
I mean, if you go back in history,
but they throwing the ball now, I mean,
we can go back and forth on this.
Jaylen is doing what they're asking to do.
Go said, who wins a versus Beyonce versus Rihanna,
between Rihanna has more number one hits than Beyonce.
Who wins versus that's not my area expertise.
They need to bring versus.
You don't think they're gonna bring it back.
There's no reason to bring it back right now.
I mean, there's too much too much other stuff going on.
It was perfect because it was COVID.
So everybody was locked in because-
We'll lock back in.
If you get the right people,
it's gonna come back around.
Well, I hope it ain't COVID or another something
that get us locked in that we have to have it.
No.
Ooh, wee.
Man, Rihanna can't do no verses.
She got a baby on the way.
Boy, that'll be a mean vibe, huh, Beyonce?
Yes, Lord.
Yeah, good one.
You say she got more number ones than Beyonce?
That's what he said, I don't know.
We'd have to go to have a look and see.
Well, ain't no way they gonna let her lose no versus now.
I'm tell you how that,
who Beyoncé.
I ain't letting her lose no versus.
Man, yeah, yeah.
Man, what Rihanna, what Rihanna fans,
what they call what they,
cause Nikki got the bars.
Beyonce got the beehive.
The Navy. The Navy. Meg Thee Stallion got the what, the got the beehive. The Navy.
The Navy.
Meg Thee Stallion got the what?
The City Girls?
Hot girls.
Hot girls.
Rihanna's a Navy something, Navy.
I forgot.
Who got something Navy?
Rihanna, her fans, it was something Navy.
Hey chat, what Rihanna fans are called?
The Navy, okay.
Navy.
Jenny Arville said,
"'I just started dating a guy with a daughter.
I met him and her at the barbecue my mom threw.
Family friend brought them.
She's a little darling."
How old is she?
How old is his daughter?
Didn't say.
Man, because I've seen some situations.
11.
I think the thing is that you got to be you.
You're not her mom.
And I don't know if I don't think she's I don't maybe the child is not looking for a mom.
So don't you go try to
insert yourself into that role.
Wait, wait, wait, well, give me that scenario one more time.
Don't try to be that girl little girl's mom. Oh, it's a girl
that date the guy that has a daughter. Yeah. Yeah, that's
what it said. I just started dating a guy with a daughter.
Last I checked a daughter is a is a female is a is a daughter is a female, is a young, is a female.
That's what I think.
But my question is, is-
I don't wanna be presumptuous.
How old is she?
One, is she two?
Cause it's gonna, you know.
Six, the daughter is six.
Yeah. Okay.
Well, that's easy there.
I mean, hey, take it a build a beer,
go do some stuff like that.
I mean, it's cool.
Y'all can do some stuff together.
Right.
You don't have to go, you don't have to move too fast.
I don't know. What you mean you don't know.
That's a little that's a little
need to talk to the mama first
and make sure everything is
cool. I gotta talk to the mama.
I'm I'm I'm Joe. You gotta
cheer. I you know now you
dating a dad. Now, that's how I
know I I get it.
Make sure there's no playing with the bomber to have your child around somebody new.
Don't do that.
So let me ask you a question.
Is she gonna come talk to me about having my daughter around some guy?
Yeah.
All right.
Oh yeah, you real quiet on that one huh?
Okay.
Hey listen.
Huh? See, it's a reason why I never had no problem.
Now, now you need to check all the boxes
before you get to dating other people
and having around other people child.
Now you don't need to.
I don't remember anybody running anything about me,
running about anything about me.
And they got married.
They ain't running about you?
They didn't tell me they were getting married.
They didn't tell me they were dating.
No.
I'm cool with it.
I'm gonna trust your judgment.
Just like I asked you to trust mine.
Okay, yeah.
I'm never gonna, because at the end of the day,
although we're co-parenting,
I still have the vested interest in that child
just as much as you do.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Yeah, we own, yeah, I own, no, right?
Nah, my, fine.
I let, hey, listen, I'm talking to so and so now,
now even though we're not together,
but we're on the same page now.
Now we know we align with the same mindset
for the betterment of the child, but I'm over here.
So when I want my baby with me, I need you to meet her.
I need y'all to talk, be on the same page.
So when I move, my child can move too,
and this individual that I'm dating
don't have to be going elsewhere.
You see what I'm saying, hon?
Yeah, I get it.
Yeah, that's great.
I mean, look, I was very fortunate for the most part.
They were very cooperative.
I would send my girlfriend down because back then,
she would fly to Atlanta, get key.
When it came to Super Bowl Bowl she handled all that take him to
take him to see world and take him do all that stuff so yeah
Hey listen I love I love I love I love I love stuff like that
Ed Terrain uh witness your presence in Baltimore number 82 don't ever take no
prisoners you are the real deal. Appreciate that Earl.
Quentin May says, since y'all all retired,
how do you know when players are ready to make their moves?
What, what you mean, retiring move?
Man, I think, you know, we all love playing the game,
but once you see you can't, you can't,
for me it's like if I can't move or do the things that I'm accustomed to
doing on the court, then I don't wanna play.
Oh, I'm cool.
And that happened with a lot of guys,
whether it's due to injury or whether it's just, you know,
a lack of just working out.
But as you get older, it's harder, man.
It's a lot harder to play and compete as you age,
because man, you have to be so serious about working out, man.
That's the point.
It is.
For me, Joe, Ocho, I just realized I wasn't gonna be able
to do anything else that was gonna change somebody's
perception of me.
Catching another touchdown, going to another Pro Bowl,
being another All-Pro, people have already made their mind up.
They had sought me for 14 years.
So what could I do to change the perception of what you thought of me or what I was or wasn't?
Nothing.
And then plus I wasn't the same anymore.
I wasn't the same.
I wasn't.
Yeah, I could, I could catch, I could catch 60, 70 balls and get you 800 yards, but
it wasn't the same.
I didn't have, I couldn't, I couldn't dominate.
My yards didn't mean the same.
It used to be, if I got a hundred yards, we won the game.
Won automatic.
Cause I had that kind of impact,
that kind of influence on the game.
Didn't, didn't, didn't.
Man, I, look, and then, you know,
I still ain't gonna lie to you.
I still enjoy training. I still, I love, and then, you know. I still ain't gonna lie to you, I still enjoy training.
I still enjoy getting up shots by myself.
It's all therapeutic for me.
Like I still enjoy that fact, that part of it.
So even if I wasn't able to compete at a high level,
I would still for sure be playing the game.
Like I would still be out there shooting or getting out.
So it was just part of who I am at this point.
Yep.
That concludes this episode of Nightcap.
