Ocho, Stefan Digg's decision not to speak to the Boston media rubbed a local reporter the wrong way with comments he was being in pain.
in the posterior
New England
Diggs apologize
for coming up rudely
Obviously, I don't want to
Chrome across as that
And I'm going to say this
I want to be very clear
I'm an adult
I'll apologize
I'm not up here on an ego trip
I'm not up here to rub anybody
The wrong way
Or say anything for clickbait
If I rub anyone wrong
I really want to apologize
I like it
I do too
Hey hey listen
New place, new atmosphere
New beginnings
let's start it off on the right foot yeah all you got to do now is go out there with
your play the rest will take care of itself yep the rest will take care of itself
well just do what you're supposed just just just just be who step on diggs is make plays on
the field all that other stuff I don't look all that I don't care I don't care nobody I don't
care nothing about the man he was in the fashion all he care about his fashion he didn't call
I don't care about none of that right all I care how many catches how many yards how many
down and how many games you will help us win that's what i care about all that other stuff
they ain't got nothing to do with me yeah congratulations hey hey bring her to the game
maybe they put the caramel on her yeah i don't know i don't care but all i care about is
is winning can't step on dicks help me win that's all i care about all that other stuff i
don't get nothing about that he can he can that's all i care about that okay oh yeah
that's what I care about did well
so
uh
um
look you know he made a mistake
I think the thing is on what you're like
I want to get off on a good foot anytime I go somewhere
I mean look I was always everybody that you know
you wanted something you wanted to talk I was going to talk
yeah I'm going to talk good bad or indifferent
that's the thing and I that it doesn't matter who the player is
Now, when you play good, you hit three home runs
or you score 50 points or you have a triple double
or you have a triple double or you have three sacks
or you have this been.
Everybody want to talk.
You give up, you have a blunder or you don't play well.
Now all of a sudden you want to lead the locker room
without speaking to the media.
Nah, don't do that.
That's coward.
That's coward.
We don't do that.
You got to speak to them.
You got to have the coronets to speak to them when you win
and the corner is to speak to them when you lose.
be as gracious in victory as you are in defeat defeat yeah I'm a firm believer I'm
hey because I got a lot to say we win well I'm hey as much as it's going to be
hurting me inside I'm going to stand and take every question I'm not going to be
man you watch the game you saw what happened what you think happened you think you
could do no no no no no no no no I I ain't ask him when when we win the game and
I go off I ain't ask him did he watch the game I
I ain't say, well, could you have done what I did?
I don't ask none of them questions.
I'm not going to ask it.
I'm not going to ask when we lose.
We got to play better.
Team didn't play well.
It starts with me.
I'm one of the leaders on the team.
I didn't do a good enough job of getting open.
I didn't give John a good enough target.
We've got to block better.
We've got to catch better.
We've got to defend better.
We've got to do a lot of things better as a team.
Yeah.
But as the team, one of the team leaders, I'll take it on me.
That's what you're supposed to do.
Right.
You want the credit.
I mean, when they pat you on the back,
they don't mention all them other guys in the paper when we win.
They got Terrell Davis.
They got John Elwood.
They got Shannon Sharp.
They got Rod Smith.
They got Ed McCaffrey.
They got Steve Atwater.
Okay.
Those are the guys that they want to talk to when you don't play well.
And G.D., go up to the podium and stand up there with your chest out and speak.
That's, I've always been like that, also.
In college, it didn't matter.
Hey.
Yeah.
You think I wanted to play bad?
You think anybody wants to play bad?
Of course not.
But it's a part of it.
You're not going to play good every game.
I don't care.
The greatest player, Tom Brady, as great as he was.
Jay Rice is great as he was.
L.T. as great as he was.
As they were, they didn't play great every game.
And when you don't play, stand up there as if you got three sacks,
if you threw for 400, as if you caught for 150 and three touchdowns.
That's just the way I approach it.
But I am glad Stephundig stepped to the mic and said, hey, guys, that's not my intent.
I didn't come here to try to rub anybody the wrong way.
And for my behavior, I want to apologize.
Despite signing a two-year $29 million extension with the Steelers last year, Cam Hayward wants to rework his deal.
Here's his explanation.
You know how I work, you know how I play.
That's all it matters.
You know, I have to make a decision for my family.
This is a business.
I cannot play this game forever.
and just like I'm maximized on the field,
I want to be maximized outside of it
and I don't want to be taken care of that way.
It's not being greedy, it's just the way this game is.
It's not for long NFL, so I would tell every guy
maximize your opportunities.
I like it.
They just reworked this deal last year.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know if I can honestly say, Ocho.
I don't know if I've ever seen a team rework a deal
and then rework it the next year.
I can honestly say in my 14 years
and my years of being around it.
Right.
It's unfortunate.
I love Cam Hayward.
I love what he's done for the Steelers throughout his tenure being there,
but they're not working your deal over again a year later.
It's not happening.
I mean, it's just not happening as great as he is, especially what he's done last year.
Yeah.
Because he's worthy of having another raise the following year after they just gave you a raise, it's not going to work.
And one thing you won't do, and we've already seen it, you're not going to bully management.
You're not going to bully owners into paying you.
And you're not, and obviously, this, if owners start, they're not going to set a precedent either.
they're not going to set a president where we're going to have players all they have to do is come out and complain about not being paid and all of a sudden they do they're just going to start paying players because they say they're not happy with their deal that's that's not happening the owners are not going to set a precedent and i know damn well the runies ain't going to be the one to set it no no and uh and that's that's the problem that is up again what has happened oh cho is that he seen these defensive linemen salaries explode yeah
47 million, 41 million, 40 million, 35, 35, 34, 30, 20, 28.
You're like, man, I'm making a piece, a little 14 meal.
Yeah, you know, you know who can.
I mean, oh, and I'm not, look, and chat, look, I'm not saying that 14 million
there's a lot of money, but I'm looking at it through his lens.
In his lens, he's looking at like 14 money is not a lot of money when I've probably
did, where is he ranked?
He's like, what?
he's the 23rd highest paid defensive lineman 23rd
where would you put him where would you put him when it comes to
de-tackles where would you put him is he he is he in the Chris Jones
Jeffrey Simmons type he's more of a run stuff now he can get you sacks right um
um I think he's probably that tier like I would say CJ and Simmons
Carter here to yeah okay okay but here's the thing oh Joe yeah if if if you like you know
what I'm gonna go out here and I'm gonna play this I'm gonna play I don't rework my deal
don't worry about it I'm a bet on me I'm gonna go out here and ball out you don't get
you don't get to take see he's trying to take the money the assurances that he had
on the front end right they reworked the deal
says, well, I performed this deal, and now let's come back to the table.
I, like I said, they could now.
Like I said, I don't, I know the Roonies, you know, you grow up,
Steve was my favorite team.
I knew the dad and that, you know, Dan, who used to be the ambassador to Ireland,
if I'm not mistaken, when I went into the hall, sent me a handwritten note.
Really appreciate it.
So the Rooney family, thank you very much for that.
But, and here is the thing, Ocho.
He signed an extension.
and he played 11 games the previous year so he signed the extension after he was
injured yeah mm-hmm they they gave you some grace understanding though so in
other words though it's like he hedged it so hey what I would do I'm gonna
protect my downside so I'm gonna protect you know if y'all want to release me I'm
gonna get this money now well I outperform so let's do it over yeah I don't
believe I don't believe chat and y'all I could be wrong
No, it's not happening.
Can I ask you a question?
How old is Cam Hayward?
Cam came out in the 2011 draft.
So he's got to be at least 35.
He might be 36.
Huh.
Those folks ain't playing that, man.
You know what?
You've got to be 36, 35, 36.
You know, every, there are certain players that have that kind of pool.
And there's one player on the Steelers defense that can say, you know what?
I played well last year.
year I would like a raise this year as well there's one player that can do that he did it he got
it tj there's one player that can do that uh so another way he looked at those you he's like man
look at i bounced back i had an all pro had like seven eight sacks a batted a couple of passes
tackle for losses bro but they're like we gave it we gave you a raise after you had a down
year now you wanted to come back and give you another raise after having a good
I think you know what
what they might do is
they might take some money on the back end
and go ahead and push it on up front
I don't know if he got, does he have any more
on the back end? Because if I can sign the two year extension
does he have any
does he have any?
Does he have any more protection?
I mean,
what was last year? Last year was
My thing is, bro, why you signed a two-year extension for $29 million anyway?
That's only 14 and a half.
The numbers were already way up.
That put you way behind to begin with.
Yeah.
So I can see if you said, let's just say for the sake of argument,
Ocho, he signed a two-year deal and he got $42 million.
He got $45.
$5 million.
Now, I was like, okay, but you signed a two-year deal.
You took 14, you basically took 14 mil.
They were obliged to give it to you.
They were happy, like, oh, okay.
Yeah.
We'll keep him happy.
I don't know.
I mean, I think Cam is a really good player,
but I just don't see a scenario where they gave him an extension
last year and turned around and give him another extension this year.
I just don't see it on show.
It could happen.
I hope it does.
does but I'm just being real I've tried to be realistic to the to our viewing and
listening audience I just don't see it happening yeah and I because I do think I
think he's a phenomenal player he's you know he's a leader of that team he's a
captain of the defense you know I think even still at his age he's still a phenomenal
player at 36 years of age all those war because you know when you play they play a
three four defense you know he's in a lot of battles there's a lot of banging
And there's a lot of there's a lot of pushing and pull it like you like to say push it, pull it,
Helmets colliding, it's, it's rough in there.
Yeah.
It's rough in there.
But I just, I wonder who his agent is because his agent worked out of that two for 28.
No, we do two for, we'll do two for 50.
Do two for 50, Ocho.
Now we good.
Yeah.
Damn.
Does he have another year on this contract after this, Yash?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wow.
So how much is next year's salary?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
He's sick.
He's throwing up.
It's bad.
No, I'm just saying, Ocho, you look at everybody else salary.
He's 14-5.
Damn.
Damn Michael Parsley just got 47 million that's three times what he made three and a half
yeah that's crazy yeah you look at TJ the guy he playing right next to 41
yes two and a half no damn there three times who my math teacher
so he's looking at like hold on bro i'm putting in work now i i i wish him i i wish him the best but i just
don't i just don't see that scenario oh too i really don't yeah i don't let's tear up that contract
after just gave him one appeasing him last year after season in which he was down that's where if
you felt you was like that just go ahead and ride it out yeah especially also
not saying not the ultimatum I'm not playing you know what you're 36 bro yeah well you know
some people will say well he's not your average 36 year old Steelers ain't the average team
they not 50 they don't just have money like that the Steelers are one of these old school
team what are these old school their mom and pops this is what the Steelers do yeah it's been
in their family basically since 1930s
33 with the exception of a year this is what they got they don't have they
don't have you know all this other ventures and you know venture capitalists
and stuff like they don't that's not what they have I mean you saw the other
day that uh the Giants sold a 10% stake into the Giants mm-hmm to the
Koch family the coke so coke
It's pronounced coke, but it's spelled K-O-C-H.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
But I wish him the best.
I think he's a phenomenal player,
but I just don't see a scenario where he's going to get the kind of money,
especially Ocho, 36 years of age,
after just reworking the deal last year.
I just don't see it.
Ocho, when DeVante was dealt to the Jets last year,
he was asked, he asked then rookie receiver,
Malachi Corley, for the number 17 jersey.
Hey, this is Matt Jones.
I'm Drew Franklin.

Did you see the Colts pretzel?
That was my other big takeaway from that game.
What was that?
Looks like something that should not be sold.
Oh, my.
So that was my other big Colts take away.
They sold that?
Yes.
Might want to go back to the Colts Stadium.
Yeah, I might want to go back.
to the drawing board on that yeah i thought the shape we had with pretzels was working pretty well
for generations we're just here trying to enjoy it we hope you all will join us throughout the year
and let's go i hope i'm as youthful as pete carroll is at his age he's a young 73 he is a young 73
he is spry i wouldn't fight him i would listen NFL cover zero with matt jones and drew franklin

Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports.
He offered the rookie 17,000 in exchange for the number 17.
according to Devante, according to Devante.
So he responds, he said, hey, man, it's good to you have.
Happy to you're on the squad, but I need a million.
Or be you what?
A million American dollars just for a number?
He was serious or he was trolling?
He was serious.
Man, man, you know, you almost made me curse.
My bad.
I'm sorry, but listen, if I was him being that I had the number 17 and I don't have a,
I'm not a household name, but someone like Devante Adam come to my team where 17 resonates
with that individual knowing that he's worn it, one of the better players in the NFL and has
been for a very long time, I'm selling that jersey.
Maybe not for maybe not for 17.
You throw me 50 or 100,000.
I'm going to get it to you.
right 100,000 that's that's right that Devonte should have went bonte 50 to 100 you're right
17,000 come on debante come on there I I I you got to start low you got to negotiate you got to negotiate
17 let's Devante start 17 I if I'm um what's the name I said do other dude name malachi Corley
Malachi Corley I mean listen man you know 17 that's really disrespect but you really disrespect to me
you know i'm not a bump i'm not a bum i make money too make it worth my wow give me a price
that's worth my wow and 17 000 ain't it i would have 50 if you say no to 50 if you say no to
let's talk 75 now i can be 100 000 that's it i'm not going no higher than that
50 yeah yeah i mean yeah come on man we talk this davontzi adams one of the greatest receivers of all time
Yeah. So what number did DeVante
were last year? Did they take
the number from it?
He's at the Browns now, right?
Right. Yeah. Y'all know
DeVante's in the Rams.
So in other words, he went to the Jets and the Jets took the number from him.
So he probably ended up getting nothing.
Bro, when you are, when you're, if you're not on the active roster,
you're in no position to bargain.
Listen, if anything, if you're going to bargain, that's probably why he said a million
because he's not making enough.
If anything, 50, $75,000, $100,000.
Oh, Joe.
It's good money.
That's good money.
But the fact you're not your practice squad, that's Devante.
They traded to get him.
He automatically comes in and he trumps you.
So you got nothing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
17 would have been more than look here, man.
Hey, give me 50 and we, hey.
We good.
I really wanted 100, but I know you've worn 17 since you've been to leave.
Give me 50.
17 resonates with that player.
There are certain players that come from other teams.
The number resonates with them, and it just carries over like a numerical number.
So in other words, he goes to the Jets and he says, look, I want number 17.
Yeah.
Bro, you're on the practice squad.
And unless somebody that practice, they don't even know you were.
17 yeah because you ain't see your ass in the game and not look at you you ain't got no
money from divante and you had to get and you had to get a 17 up mm-hmm damn oh outside of the
free agent with uh with baltimore and i was the app off of jama jermaine
Louis offered him a Rolex for him and his wife.
He said no.
Okay, cool.
I'm like, man, I want an even number though.
I ain't want no.
I go to Freaky Frank rain wipe.
West your soul, Frank passed on.
I said, Freaky Frank, hey, man, I need 82.
He's like, Sharpey, take it.
Yeah.
I said, nah, no, freak.
I can't do that.
I go, we call it Freaky Frasper.
Come on, freak.
I can't do that.
Right.
He said, nah.
Sharpie, he said, nah.
Nah, you know, hey.
Because, you know, he was in the
He was in Denver who tried to make the team in Denver didn't make it.
He said, Sharper, when I was in Denver, man, you treated me great.
You helped me out a lot.
I really, really appreciate that.
Sharpey, just take it.
I said, nah, Frankie.
Tim, what you do?
I said, what's your hobby?
He said, Sharper, I like the fish.
Fish.
I said, what if I got you a boat?
Say, Sharper, you don't have to do that.
I cut him in chat.
I said, go get you a bass boat, bro.
How much a bad boat cost?
I think I wrote him a check for like 20 grand, $25,000.
Well, you got it, what?
No, I mean, look, I didn't come in there.
I'm not trying to big time nobody.
I was the biggest free agent that they brought in.
No, no, no.
That man had that number before she hadn't brought his ass there.
Don't try, I don't, I ain't trying to take an advantage of nobody.
I want the number.
I want 82.
Ozzy wore 82 when he was in Cleveland.
I said, you know what?
I want that number.
Well, matter of fact, hey, since you're cutting checks,
I saw, uh, I saw a little escalate I like, too, a little escalate IQ.
You owe me $59.00. Huh?
You owe me $5,900. I got you, but you, you cut freaky, you cut freaky, uh, check.
That was also in 2000.
Oh, so inflation. So shoot, throw me, throw me $50,000 there.
Money jump funny in 25, what you? Oh, no, hold that.
You don't know what he's just saying, Ocho, I'm just saying he jumped funny.
Hey, everybody, listen, we're going to get back on track.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
One thing about it.
That's just me, Ocho.
Everybody don't look at it like that.
That's just me.
How I looked at it, I'm like, okay, the man had the man.
That's his number.
He's had it.
Boom.
Right.
So, hey, I'm Corley.
But I can see, Ocho, I'll see if that number has some sense.
It would have been interesting to see what number was he.
winning college what number was he in high school if he had that number also you know what i'm saying
but but even still even if you had it in come on now we talk about a legendary iconic player
we talk about the bonti adams the best rock runner in the nfell yes for those in the
i did probably ohcho he was leavened at west of kentucky ocho when jerry went to seattle he
personally called Steve Largett. Steve Largett number is retired. Steve
Largett was the first ballot Hall of Famer. Yeah. If Steve Largett can
unretired number 80. Yeah. Bro, you could.
know. Maybe he has his reasons. I mean, DeVarthe said I offered it 17,000. I ain't
going to lie, Devante. I wouldn't let it go for that either. You're going to cost you 50.
Hey, can you hear me? Yeah. Hold on. You're saying I need to connect the Internet.
Did you say you're going to send me my money? Because I didn't hear that. No, I just,
in the hotel, I mean, the, the, the screens are connected internet.
just popped up out the blue okay i guess i guess i don't know i don't know what i did it oh cho
what's that NFL agents have spoken okay Cincinnati bingles and the Dallas cowboys were
voted as the league's most unstable franchises in a recent survey whoa no runner ben standee
surveyed agents to find out which team they consider the league's most unstable franchise
the bingles top the list followed by the cowboys
means they're worse than the Panthers and the Browns.
Wait, hold on. Hold on. I don't understand. When we talk about the, we talk about unstable
franchises. I'm trying to understand what are the agents basing that off of because the
Bengals have been stable for a very long time. One agent, one agent referred to the Bengals
as a mom and pop ownership. The Bingles are owned by Mike Brown and he has several family
members working at the team's front office, similar to Dallas. Ocho, a lot of people say
never mixed family with business. So the Cowboys and Bengals were family run. And, you know,
In the docu-series, he called Stephen.
He called Charlotte.
He called Jerry, Jerry Jr.
He's a guy that I'm going to do this, but it's all hands on debt.
Right.
Steven says, hey, I need you guys to move to Dallas.
They all did.
Mike Brown came up on his daddy, Paul, who created the Cleveland Browns.
On the Browns, boom.
Art Modell got him.
He started my new team, Cincinnati Bengals, and there you have it.
Yeah. I don't like that, though. I don't like that for the simple fact, if you look at the direction and where the Bengals were and how far they've come in trying to build a winning team and how people have the moniker of they are very cheap to where they now have changed that narrative and have paid their players. I just don't understand.
Oh, so they played two players. Stop.
Well, they've been paying players. And think about it. I'm 57. They came into existence in 1968.
So in 57 years, they've really played two players.
Stop it.
Do I need to break down all the players that they've actually played?
I know the players that they've let go, that they refuse to pay.
But anyway, but look, a lot of teams, I think the thing is, Ocho, is that you look at the Colts.
The Colts, they kind of, you know, Jim Ursaid,
is sold. Now his daughters are in charge.
Yes.
Virginia McCasky, rest her soul. Her dad
founded the Chicago Baird,
George House, Mr. Hallis. He's passed
on, passed it down to the son.
Amy Adams,
Bud Adams' daughter,
she took over
I think,
Amy Adams'
Strunk, I think that's how he said.
But if you go
can look at um mr wilson that owned the buffalo bills yes they sold it so i mean you know
you look at look at the rams when when in georgia frantieri when she passed they sold it yeah some
something like that we don't want that headache you look at the the bowling family um they couldn't
come to a consensus on who was going to run it right they ended up selling it to uh rob walton and
in his family,
the petters.
So to each his own.
Yeah,
I don't like that.
I don't like for the agents
to talk about
because I'm just thinking
of how bad the organization
used to be and I'm picturing
where they are now
and they're in a good space.
So them being unstable,
Mike Brown,
Katie, Troy Blackburn,
Duke Tobin,
Zach Taylor,
they have done a phenomenal job
in building a winning team.
Building a team
for one,
getting the quarterback that gives you a chance so each year every year we come in even though we
missed the playoff last year we have a chance and it's all based on how we start those first
three four weeks that's what matters most we don't have to rely on anybody on the back end of the season
hoping so and so win so we can get in we got to take care of our business starting this goddamn
sunday down in cleveland on that water let's go browns
Come again?
Let's go browse.
You don't want to bet none?
I don't.
Okay.

Did you see the Colts Pretzel?
That was my other big takeaway from that game.
What was that?
It looks like something that should not be sold.
Oh, my.
So that was my other big Colts take away.
They sold that?
Yes.
Might want to go back to the drawing board on that.
Yeah.
I thought the shape we had with pretzels was working pretty well for generations.
We're just here trying to enjoy it.
We hope you all will join us throughout the year.
And let's go.
I hope I'm as youthful as Pete Carroll is at his age.
He's a young 73.
He is a young 73.
He is Sprott.
I wouldn't fight him.
I would.

My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won.
because what I came to realize
is I valued winning so much
that once it was over, I got the blues
and I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.

Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports.
I don't want to bet against my own money.
Christopher did not practice today with a calf issue that popped up during yesterday's workout,
but he made it clear that he believes he'll be on the field Sunday against the Seahawks.
I always plan to play.
I feel great where I'm at, unfortunately, when you have an injury history that I have,
sometimes when you don't practice, things get blown out of proportion.
But like I said, I feel great.
Ocho, should we make something out of this?
Yes, because he's always hurt.
I love McCaffrey.
I love the player he is when he's actually on the field playing.
But these things continuously always happen to him.
Soft tissue injuries.
A Nick here, a Nick there.
You say it all the time.
If you limp in the season, you will limp out the season.
The fact that people are getting hurt,
and the season hasn't even started, well, it started,
but teams haven't even played yet, and some people already heard.
How are we already, how we already heard?
You know what it all comes down to?
You don't practice as much.
You don't hit as much, but for some reason, everyone continues.
You hurt more.
You hurt more.
You want to know why?
It all comes down to one thing.
And again, I say this all the time.
This is why they need to listen to me, ultra versus science.
Science is a reason that everyone is getting.
hurt all this healthy stuff that they're eating they're putting in their bodies and they're
wondering their bodies are breaking down you ain't even done nothing yet likely baltimore hurt right
now christian mcalfrey ailing you know i mean like come on man i can see if the season started
you didn't play two three four maybe five games and then something comes up you mean we ain't done
nothing yet man man man guys i know you guys were expecting uh we were supposed to have
ghost face on but he's having um internet issues and so instead of just have it go in and
out we say we'll connect with him another time yeah so we're sorry for any inconvenience uh some of you
guys might have popped on somebody in the chat might have just popped on to see ghost face
there will be no ghost face tonight um he's having internet issues with the the Wi-Fi and we said
look just come back at a later time when you get this thing connected so we can have perfect
connection so that's what's going on unfortunately we're not going to be able to uh uh get ghost on
tonight, but trust best believe will, uh, well, he'll be back. He'll come on at a later date and
time. I agree with you, Ocho. Look, they don't, I, I just don't understand how guys are
hurt more when you hit less. I do understand because your body's not callous. Your body's not
used to taking the blows. And so then all of a sudden you start taking those blows and your
body's not used to it. You're not used to falling. You're not used to getting banged. You're not
used to getting bumped into
I've used to talking football terms
you're not you're not used to the collision
that you have in practice sometimes guys get ready
to in practice oh cho yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean
and now I mean damn guys stay hurt yeah
yeah I'm telling you tell you where the common
I'm telling you what the common denominator is and tell you what the
common factor is but nobody wants to listen to me
yeah
Yeah, he must have got the same in there
provider as Joe got.
Ocho,
the Seattle Seahawks will have undercover
law enforcement officers wearing opposing
team jersey at Lumen and Field this season
in an effort to quickly detect
and address illegal and unruly fan behavior.
I like this.
I like it. It's cool.
It's cool.
It's cool.
But one of the things, one of the enjoyments you have as a fan is to be at a game and be unruly to talk trash, to say some things, whatever you want to say from the stands.
As long as you don't throw objects, you should be able to say whatever you want to say.
Now unruly, now the fighting, okay, now that.
If you want to niche, get a hold on the fight.
But the racial slurs, the homophobic slurs, the xenophobic slurs.
Yeah, they have.
You know, when you combine alcohol and your team is not winning, you know, people all of a sudden, they get out of hand.
Yeah.
And, you know, you're like, well, hey, he just, you know, we're at a game and, you know, an emotion's high, logic is lowered.
Then when you get alcohol, because alcohol, all does, alcohol does is break down inhibitions.
Yeah.
Whatever you say, you thought about sober.
Mm-hmm.
A so, a drunken mouth is a sober man's thoughts.
yeah but you only say it don't you're only saying what you're only saying what you thought sober
people like man man he got drunk and no he thought about stealing that that dump truck
while he was sober he thought about stealing this plane while he was sober he just built up
the courage to do it while he was drunk yeah I think it's more so to fight now we talk about
the unruly fans getting drunk being intoxicated they're fighting against each other
you know it's I I think that's more so what you think leads to fights talking
trash people just don't be you start calling people out of their name and you know
you start it all of a sudden you start touching you all in people faith man
nobody want to smell your drunken breath yeah right I you know I've always
just tried to like have my family or you know friend look bro don't don't wear no
don't wear no 84 jurors and no 82 juries of
they're not staying bro it ain't worth it yeah i wouldn't definitely would let nobody go to
oakland you asking for it the black hole yeah black hole yeah man please many people crazy
over there man then people was crazy at the black hole you tell it they throw in the bus
they rocking the bus on the way in no oh cho angriese got suspended for the first half of a game
saying her teammate suck.
This guy made a statement saying
the Chicago sky values the safety,
respect, and well-being of every player.
We are committed to accountability
so our players can stay focused on playing basketball.
Because of the statements detrimental to the team
made by Angel Reese during a league mandated media,
she will not play in the first half of the game,
September 7th against the Las Vegas Aces.
This matter has been handled and resolved internally
and we're moving forward as a team.
Now, mind you, she's suspended for a game because she picked up her eighth technical foul.
So, and I think that's tonight.
That was tonight, right?
She was suspended tonight, and now she suspended the first half against the aces on the 7th of B Monday, correct?
Yeah.
Sunday. Sunday. Sunday. My bad Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.
Yeah, look, Andrew expressed her dissatisfaction with the state of the franchises.
What she said, I like to be here for my career.
but if things don't pan out, obviously, I might have to move in a different direction and do what's best for me.
But while I'm here, I'm going to try to stay open-minded about what I have here and maximize that as much as I can.
She then called out specific teammates by name and expressing her desire for Marge to coach the team harder.
She also, she was quoted multiple times saying, we need great players.
She also questioned whether Courtney Vandersluke was capable of returning the form at the age she's at.
after turning an ACL seven games
until the season. We need someone
probably a little younger with some experience,
somebody who's been playing the game
and willing to compete for a championship
and has done it before.
Damn, Major.
Shit.
Hey, most of the time, too,
Unk, with someone like that,
someone is young as Angel,
who's coming to the game
that has great passion,
who's good.
There are certain things that you can think,
but you never say out loud.
Correct.
When it's talking about the teammates,
The teammates, you can see all the time.
Teammates that have grinded with you through training camp,
the teammates that obviously go to war with you on the court, on the hardwood.
And that would be very offensive.
Of course it would.
I couldn't really walk in that locker room and look them in their face again.
Nah.
I mean, I could.
I would never say nothing like that.
Ultra, we don't have been on teams.
Well, we had teammates that sucked that we thought were buns.
Yeah, we wouldn't say.
that. No, no, no, no, no, never. Hell, I mean, at some point in time,
anybody thought I was buns. I mean, I like to think even, even, you know,
being a seventh round draft pick and working, I thought I was a pretty good player. I was a good
specialty player, even if I wasn't contributing that much on offense, but I like to think
that once I got my way into the starting lineup, consistently in the 92 and moving forward,
I like to think I was a pretty good player. And just because,
Because I was a pretty good player, that didn't mean I needed to take a shot that players that I didn't think were on my level or didn't play. Look, yeah, I can be upset, Ocho when we lost the game. And I know guys that didn't play well. Right. I know I can look up at the jumbo trying to see who gave up that sack. I can look up at the jumbo trying and see who missed the block. I could go get the steal shots. We didn't have it like they do now, Ocho. You can see the whole entire play. We just had the steel shots where you had to, like damn. Like that.
I mean, look, she's an emotional player, and she let her emotions get the best of her.
Let's not, let's not, let's not, let's not, let's not, let's not dig a grave.
Yeah.
And barrier.
She's a young, she was a young woman.
Yeah.
She's not used to losing.
She was at LSU.
They won a national championship.
And they went to the final four.
They didn't get, they didn't get it done the next year.
But she's used to winning.
She's not used to losing.
Yeah.
And you have to like, and like I tell people, you handle losing.
with the same grace and dignity as you have the winning.
If you're gracious and winning, you've got to be gracious in defeat.
You've got to be the same.
Yeah.
And she let emotions get the best of her.
But even if your motions get the best of it, you can't take, like, my teammates.
We need great players.
Because some of our teammates probably say, yeah, we sure do.
We sure do.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
So like I said, she, she'll learn.
She'll learn.
She'll learn what to say.
what not to say she'll learn how to say it um she probably could have said look we just got to get
better i've got to get better we've got to get better as a team um we've got to you know
a lot of the stuff that she said she probably could have told a coach to him you know how coach
i'd like to have a conversation and i'd have a meeting with you or she could go upstairs and talk to
you know personnel department every everything is not for the paper everything is not for television
Everything is not for public consumption.
Right.
And obviously now when you come out and you say things like that,
especially by the teammate, now you put a microscope,
which is already on you anyway.
Now you've got to put a microscope and pressure on yourself.
Because now they're going to nitpick by every little thing.
So now you've got to go out there and be that shining light,
be that shining star consistently for that team that you talked about.
Yeah.
It's a, like I said, you know, she'll learn.
She made a, you know, she let her emotions get the best of her.
And she'll move on and hopefully we don't have a repeat of this.
And she'll be better for it.
But I tell you what, hey, she didn't robin on the glass, man.
She'd be bawling that.
She'd be bawling.
Yeah, man.
Clippers owner, Steve Barmer, are accused of circumventing the NBA salary cap
via an L.A.'s $28 million no-show marketing deal
between Kauai Leonard and a third-party company
that Barmer had invested in.
Barmer claims he had no knowledge
of the deal between Kauai and aspirations
a now bankrupt digital bank
and tree-planting startup
whose co-founder pleaded guilty to fraud.
That journalist Pablo Tori
reported Wednesday on his podcast
Pablo Tori finds out.
All I know is this, there have been instances where they've been under the table handshake deals.
Yes, sir.
Now, Adam Silver is a lot more lenient than David Stern.
Right.
David Stern dropped the hammer on Minnesota.
And he basically ruined them.
He basically gave him the death penalty.
Mm-hmm.
First of all, he undid the deal that they had with Joe Smith.
Right.
And then he took like five first round draft picks.
Mm-hmm.
he basically it was it was basically the equivalent of what the NCAA did to SMU he gave him
the death penalty right I don't know what's going to happen I don't know what's true I mean
there's a lot of circumstantial evidence and maybe Adam Silver says circumstantial is not good
enough right but the company went bankrupt the creditors now become public yeah I saw Steve
bomber came out and he uh he had to sit down i'm not sure who the sit down was with so i think it was
remote shareboard oh yeah i saw him explaining himself about the it didn't look good yeah and in
him saying well what kawai does in his personal time and his personal and business what
whatever company this might be that that that's on him as if as if he's finding a way to uh see
himself out he's trying to distance himself from the situation right
Man.
So why would that company have a deal with Kauai?
You go, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, it's easy
how and why that went on.
Yeah.
It's, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, um, I think the loaners really like.
Steve bomber.
He's easy to like.
I like his passion.
I love how he's cheering for his team and he gets so caught up.
He's a fan.
I think sometimes he forgets that he's an owner.
The fan.
Yeah, he's the owner.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I mean, he's in it.
I love it.
Man worth $150 billion.
And he had like he got tickets up in the rafters.
He's so excited.
Yeah.
Like you said, Ocho.
I read a little bit of it.
it's not a good look
I'm sure the NFL
the NBA do their due diligence
and whatever needs to happen
but even if he's found guilty
I don't think they're going to make
them
Trey Kauai or lose Kauai
I don't think he's going to be a death sentence
like what Adam
Donald or Donald Sterling
David Stern
did to the
did to the Minnesota Timberwolves
and he suspended Glenn Taylor for a
year and he suspended uh uh kevin mccale for a year oh yeah he dropped the hammer
he dropped the hammer on him he he he really dropped the hammer on him um i don't know
if it's going to be that that state i made it might not be anything it might just be a fine but
it doesn't look good but hey we'll see what happens all right it's time for our final
segment of the evening it's time for q and a yeah hey we got football
tomorrow too right yes yeah college yeah we're gonna yeah we yeah we're
yeah we yeah we're gonna look like the califace and california razor
you know you heard it through the great buy hey I remember the California
raid they used to be saying and they were saying it heard it through the
grape fight yeah the Marvin gay so yes yes they were all dressed
stuff, had a little tux on, had little white gloves
on the hands and everything. Yeah.
Now, Ocho clean tonight. Ocho clean tonight. You can't tell
him anything. All the money said Ocho dressed like James Bond
body double. Keep up the good commentary, Jets.
Man.
I don't hear no water.
Hands come back. Look at her.
All I see, all I do is see him. He zipped up
They see no water. I don't see nobody, no, no wetness on his hands or nothing.
Who, me?
Annie touch his nose.
Hey, hey, hey, what did that person say?
I look like what?
California raisin.
See, they hurt it through the grave bag.
Well, that must be somebody old even.
Remember that.
Yeah.
Hey, the chat making fun of my, making fun of my tuxedo.
They say you dress like a James Bond body double.
Yeah, that's me.
I could be a James Bond.
I could be a 007.
I could be a 007.
Unk, I told the chat.
It could be a 5900 too.
Let me get that.
I got you.
I got you.
I got you.
I went to the GZ concert tonight,
and I was watching the game on my phone
at the GZ concert.
You know, we had it.
How was the concert?
It was really good.
You know, we got the orchestra with him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's in tucks or something, it's called.
It's black time.
So everybody, grown folk,
everybody in there look good, you know, real spiffy.
Mm-hmm.
So I enjoy this.
right right right right right corner here in Cincinnati and um that was it that was it
went in and enjoy itself man uh the seven set unc made ocho dress up because he ain't pay him
that fifty two hundred fifty nine now it's a little higher than that matter of fact you know what
matter of fact you know it make it six thousand just make it just make it just make it even
61 i got you i got you i got you no problem cameron norwood junior said the broncos will win the
FC West this year.
I agree, Kemper.
Huh?
They win the what?
I know who won't win the AFC North.
You,
all right.
This is a different year.
You're right.
I won't bet nothing.
This is a different year.
Joe X. Black said football is back, baby.
What a game by my charges.
What a game about the charges tonight.
Your Broncos better watch out.
Glad bless y'all and the nightcap crew.
Go cowboy.
Hell no, Joe.
Ain't no go no cowboys.
You said all that.
You're talking about the Chargers, talking about the Broncos,
God bless nightcap and the crew,
and then you're going to talk about go cowboy.
You think you slick, Joe.
Hell no, there ain't no go, no cowboys.
Casey Taylor said,
yo, what's the story between you and Michael Irvin?
Y'all, are y'all super close?
Y'all kept daffing up like cousin, haven't seen each other in years.
It was also to watch, cool stories.
Man, look, the mic that you see,
that's how he is all the time.
All the time.
24-7.
I met Mike first time in 91 at the Pro Bowl when I went with my brother.
He was cool with me.
And every since then, and every time I would like see him at the,
when he was in the Super Bowl,
I went in the Super Bowl, we bumping each other.
And it's just like, he's a guy that makes you feel like he's been knowing you
your whole life and you just pick right up where you left off.
Pick right up where you left off.
He's great.
And then like go to the whole.
hall and I don't get a chance to go back and I probably should go more trying to get back as much
as I possibly can but it's a huge undertaking to get especially when I got so much stuff going on
but that's not an excuse so sorry I don't even want to make put that throw that out there
but he and I was always like we'd be at the back of the bus and we'd be talking and be laughing
and joking about everything you need to pull up I think there was a clip somebody recorded it
of him and I'm just joking going back and forth but that's the type of relationship that we
We're kind of a little more like, you know, brothers.
But he's a great guy.
He's a great guy.
Michael, he's one of a kind.
He's one of a kind.
Sonny Ray said this the year for Lamar or Josh, if ever.
Yeah, look, Lamar said this is the best team that he's been a part of.
Lamar hasn't had any excuses.
They've been had one of the most loaded teams in the AFC.
Hey, you know, Lamar just needs to, the Lamar that we see
in the regular season that we've seen over the last three, four regular seasons.
That's the Lamar that needs to show up come playoff time for the entirety of the
playoffs.
If that were to happen, Raven's going to be the Super Bowl champs.
I love how you're just skipping over the Bengals, but okay, I'm going to let you rock out.
Lamar run, roll the ball to Bengals.
Davy Mitchell said, watch every night, watch every night live from Scottsdale.
Davin, appreciate that.
Thank you.
Appreciate all you guys that's in the chat.

able to become the phenomenon that we've become eagle fan i'm in philly watching nightcap on the big
screen at the bar shout out to unkin ocho eagle fan thank you Nate harper says hey uncan ocho
what do the eagles need to do to improve on the defense
I think they need to put Cooper DeJon outside the quarterback and bench a door Jackson.
Well, look, Ojo.
Yeah.
In football, we call it a fish.
A lot of times we say, okay, we find a weak link.
And we keep tugging into it.
We keep turning the door handle until one of them's open.
Yeah.
And the door Jackson is going to have to get that fixed.
Yeah.
You're going to have to get it fixed.
It's really that simple.
It's on film now.
For sure.
It's on film.
And once you put it on film, they're coming at you.
every game. Yep. Every game, they're coming at you. But you see, they saw last night,
they couldn't get pressure. You sued their side, their size is Daria Smith today. Yeah,
because they understood, they understood. Absolutely. We got to get a body in here that can put
some pressure on the quarterback before, so we can't have our back in and get exposed. So we can't.
And see, when you lost, they lost two starters that could go pin their ears back. I think one
went to New England and the other, I forget what the other one went.
Um, but you see, they blowing by, you're getting everybody tired.
Now those guys that were their backups, they're the starters.
Now they're finding it's a little harder.
Now all of a sudden those guys aren't tired.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
It's a difference.
Different ball.
They're finding that out, but they're going to have to get pressure.
They're going to have to get pressure without sacrificing that secondary.
Hey, y'all talking about Darius Slate.
Derry Slate still had, had some life in those layers.
Weren't them wrong with him.
That's a business move.
Legendary.
That boy Justin Jervisd of a bad man.
Put some respect on that man.
Let's effing go.
Okay.
Peacemaker, advocate.
If a player knows he's going to say something in an interview,
that's going to cost him more than skipping it.
He might be wise to keep quiet.
I just think the thing is, oh, Cho, you can control it.
Yeah.
You're frustrated.
Everybody gets frustrating.
You lose a game that you think you should win or it's a close game and you don't play well.
Bro, just go out there and BS your way through it.
We just got to be better.
We got to be better.
That today wasn't good enough.
Maybe against another team on another day, that'd have been good enough.
wasn't good enough today.
So we go back and look at the tape.
We got to be more attentive in meetings.
We got to be better in practice.
We ask everybody, coaches, players alike, to be better.
In order for us to be the type of team that we know we can become,
we have to be better.
You don't have to go there and blow everybody up.
Nobody's going to be up there and say, oh, man, oh,
now all of a sudden we really like this guy because he just blew up all his teammates.
No.
It doesn't work like that.
Yeah.
It's too small.
All-Star Cowboy at D.C. for life.
What up, Ocho?
I'm a Cowboys fan that I can honestly say I run defense look pretty damn good.
I got to see a lot more as the season progresses.
But overall, more than what most expected.
Yeah.
I'll give them credit.
They played well last night.
You let the quarterback get out.
But, you know, most teams don't have a quarterback.
that's as athletic and as mobile as Jalen Hurts.
So you should feel so,
but you should be concerned,
ain't getting no pressure.
Your defense built to pressure.
And I like the Cowboys' Office in the first half.
I didn't really like anybody's office.
The second half, only three points were scored, don't Joe?
Yeah.
So with that being said,
the Cowboys had to be pleased with their rush defense.
They weren't happy with their past rush defense.
But yeah, they'll be okay.
But that defense is better.
That division is better.
Got better, yeah.
Top to bottom.
Blake said,
It was so funny when you and Mike and imitated Al Davis.
With you and Mike, him and he didn't imitate Al.
just ala's look it's kind of like oh joe you like you goes on where you take on the habits

you're talking about assuming it's going to cost you more attorney fees than what i owe you
you. Who says that?
Oh, yeah, we got to have you.
Yeah.
We got to have you.
Pay their man and money.
But he was great.
The thing is he had been around football so long.
He's the first commission of the AFL.
He knew good players.
He'd always walk around.
Ocho, he had that white sweatsuit on.
Yeah.
White pants.
He had a white sweatsuit.
He had a white suit.
You're right.

night, he's going to join us at a later date and time. But in a national game, the first game
played in Brazil in Sao Paulo. The charges beat the Chief, 21, excuse me, 27, 21. Justin Herbert was
25 or 34, 318, three touchdowns, had a game clenching, a scramble that closed the game
out. They burned out the last two minutes of the ball game as they win. The Chiefs lose
a one-score game for the first time since December or Christmas of 2023,
which is a spanned 17 games, but that streak is over now.
The charges get it done on the road in Brazil, 2721 over the chiefs.
Thank you for joining us tonight.
We'll see you back tomorrow.
I'm Unc, He's Ocho.
Thank you guys so much.

My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won.
Because what I came to realize is I valued winning so much
that once it was over, I got the blues, and I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.
