Timberwood's head coach
Chris Finch is fed up
with flopping in the NBA.
Hopefully the lead cleans up
that crap,
this crap,
because nobody wants to watch it.
That's what they said
with the feedback from the fans.
They're tired of watching the flopping,
and we know that
because we've rewarded at a high level.
So just stop rewarding the flopping.
The NBA said they're a focused
on reducing flopping this season.
by reviewing plays after game and potentially issuing fines when needed.
Joe, I thought they had already done that.
They said they were already going to do a $5,000 flopping fine.
If you flopped, I thought that was already implemented.
It was in for a minute, Ung and Ocho, and I guess they just said the hell with it.
You know what I mean?
You know what they said to hell with it, Uncle Joe?
Because everybody do it.
Everybody do it.
I mean, every so often, you know.
Now, there's some that do it a little bit more agree.
and others where it's actually a part of their game,
but everybody does this sometimes to get a foul, to get a call.
It's become a part of the game today.
Yeah, it's the, it's the flailing when you barely get in touch
and you see guys throw their head back and they be like, oh, ah, like,
it's how I think for refs, it may look, we get on the rest a lot.
Okay, Ocho, but they got the hardest damn job in the game, bro.
They got the hardest job, obviously they can control a game,
but they got the hardest part, they got the hardest job.
because you don't know, you know, what's really a foul,
what's really a flop.
So I think it's so hard to kind of distinguish.
But they gotta crack down on it, bro,
because the game is so watered down with that, bro.
It's so watered down.
Especially when you get teams who win the penalty,
meaning like, we know y'all got five files,
okay, Ocho.
Hell, I'm just trying to get any little calls
so I can get to the free throw line
and get a couple points, get a little rhythm.
So yeah, they gotta crack down on that straight up.
I think the thing is that the road makes it so hard.
We get an opportunity to watch it in slow-mo.
We get an opportunity to see a replay.
They got to watch it in real time and call it.
And it's hard.
Yeah, it is.
I don't know because the last thing that you want is that,
oh, yeah, thought, and say, nah, he flop.
And then it's not a flop.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a lot.
It's so many rules to the game.
Because now when guys go up to shoot,
hell, you can't be under a guy when he come down.
You know what I mean?
So if he come down and step on any part of your foot.
Any part of your foot.
Okay, Ocho, that's a foul.
Regardless how you look at it.
So it's hard to contest shots nowadays, just like in football.
Hell, it's hard to tackle the damn quarterback because you measure I put your weight on them.
Hell, that's going to be a penalty.
You know what I mean?
So you kind of got to try to manipulate the rules.
And I think the great ones they find a way in doing that.
But, yeah, man, we got this flopping and took over.
Yeah.
Guys got really good at it.
That's the thing.
It doesn't matter.
Guys get really good.
Hey, guys do something long enough,
they're going to get good at it.
And once somebody perfect it, guess what?
Somebody else going to perfect it.
And it's a trickle of thing.
Because, boy, think about how many...
Dang.
Would you say something else?
Think about how many times Hardin,
when Hardin was in his prime,
creating those, getting those calls.
And Houston?
Well, he would nasty.
He was a demon.
He was a demon when it came to,
foul seeking body hunting we call it body hunting where you can get in that paint and you can play in
traffic around a bunch of bodies and it don't deter you or throw you off your game james was
elite at that because he will seek out your arms your hands when you reach in there now oh that's a
file every time that's why you see guys guarding with the hands behind their back hands straight up
because anytime bro he's going to have an advantage and you stick your hand in there it's going to be a
He's going to be shooting 20, 25 free throws a damn night.
Yep.
Bam out of bail says he don't give a F how you feel about his 83 point games.
I went for it.
I knew exactly what I was doing.
I don't know how to say it without sounding explicit.
I don't give a F about what anybody negative has to say about it.
I idolize Kobe Bryant in my mind.
I got the 79 minutes left, so I had a decision to make at that point.
Like, yes, folk, can we can really check me out right now or can I go for it?
And I'm like, I'm going for it.
I knew exactly where I was at that moment.
Joe, do you have a problem with what Bam did?
Yeah, no, I don't.
I ain't got no problem.
I can Ocho, considering the fact that, man, you may not, never reached that feet again.
It's similar to the Saquorn Barkley, the 2,000 yards.
Hey, man, let that man get the yard.
But I'm with Bam on this.
He's seen an opportunity.
you know knowing that okay i got 70 with how much you said nine minutes left
yeah man i'm going i'm going for it what yeah i got 70 with nine minutes left oh joe i'm
for sure getting 82 i'm for sure getting that yeah i'm trying to pass cobi too
hey hey records are made to be broken yeah and in this day and age the way the game but that ain't
the record the record that's what i don't get the record is the record is 100 but nobody ever thought
that we would ever see another 82 or 83 point game.
We didn't think we would see it from somebody like, bam.
I got to every, I mean, we thought if Damon Lilly did that,
we wouldn't think we have it a second thought.
If Yokic did it, we wouldn't give it a second,
or not Yolkich, Luca, because we've seen them have 70.
We've seen Damon get hot and get 70.
We saw Donovan Mitchell have 71.
We saw Luca have 73.
So we like, hold on, but bam, career high was 40, 40 or 41.
How do you get double your damn career high
and set a mark like this here?
Hey, I got a problem.
What you got a problem?
I think, I think because we talk about Wilk,
you know, have been the most points of the game being a hundred.
Now we got footage on every goddamn thing else in the world,
but we ain't got no footage at this hundred point game.
Ben, they have no cameras back there in, Ocho.
You got a real, Ocho, you got to realize.
They got footage way before that.
They got footage way before that.
You do realize a 100-point game in the time,
and they ain't got nothing.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
I say they have footage of games being played way before that,
way before Will's game.
How they don't have that?
Yeah, like certain championship game,
but they don't have things of every single game
that the NFL has ever played.
They weren't keep her.
You got to realize back then, Ocho,
I mean, even in the 80s,
basketball wasn't what we came to be.
They used to move, the Lakers used to come to Vegas and play.
The Hawks used to go to New Orleans and play.
Boston used to go to Connecticut because they was trying to drum up support
so people can watch it.
This was in the 80s.
I ain't talking about 50, 60s and 70.
I'm talking about the 80s.
Go look it up.
They land of the hogs should play, yes.
I don't know.
Some things just like, how could it be?
We didn't see, we don't, we didn't see all 511, and, and, and 11 victories of Sy Young.
Yeah.
We damn sure they see 410 victories of Walter Big Train.
You think they got every last one of home runs that Hank Aaron hit?
Hmm.
We just got more technology now.
I'm not, I believe he did it because you saw Bam.
And Bam was not as dominant in this era as Wilk wasn't his.
Hey, what year was, hold on.
When Will scored the 60, the 100?
That was 1962, right?
61, 62 season.
Okay, hold on.
Hey, I'm with you, though.
It is, it's who, it's who scored them points.
It's because it was bam.
Yeah.
That's what it is.
Yeah, we, we ain't see that from him.
We ain't see that from him.
I know I didn't.
When Dame catch fire like he catch fire.
And we saw Luca go for seven.
Luca went for 73 against the hawks.
Against the hawks.
Against the hawk.
Yeah.
In our building, yeah.
Them guys,
a guy like that catch fire,
he can make 12, 13 threes.
Now you put him on the free throw line.
He make another 15 free throws,
16 free throws.
And now he make 10 twos.
That's it.
He there.
Mm.
You got to be getting them up,
boy, to put up them type of number.
I'm trying.
What?
But also, in that same season,
he had a 78 point game,
he had a 73 point game,
a 72 point game.
When he retired,
he had more 60 point games
than a whole NBA combined.
Yeah, I'm looking for it.
I'm looking for it.
Hey, I looked at Wilt.
I obviously scored 162.
Then I looked up,
when were the damn camera invented?
Because I'm trying to,
to see. I ain't nobody got nothing.
Oh, Joe, but you, you thinking back then basketball
wasn't a pastime, the camera was mainly on baseball.
Baseball was America's pastime.
The radio. You see, the color television,
when the color television, because everything was on radio.
Right. So just imagine what's the color television.
That's what sports really, really took off.
Yeah, because guess what?
When that TV came in, Joe.
Yeah.
Color.
Man.
And I think, I think that's what it was, Joe.
Me personally, I don't, because I think, Bam, I don't think people dislike Bam.
I think the fact of it was Bam that did it.
Yeah.
I bet you if Luca, a Dame Lillan had done this, people wouldn't give it, wouldn't give it a second thought.
Because they can shoot the three balls so well, they can get ultra hot.
And you know, we've seen Luca go get 30 points that I had, get 30 points.
and I get 30 points in a quarter.
Hell, Clay Thompson hit 37 points in a quarter.
Yeah.
So just imagine.
The man has 60 points in 29 minutes.
So imagine if the game is close and he plays 40 minutes.
You know, I thought about two,
I just, it just dawned on me too, huh?
What's that?
God damn Joe.
Who you said going to win the championship this year?
I said, I'm probably going to bet on Philly.
Okay.
Who you bet no, no, Cho?
I'm saying, I'm saying I ain't really got no winner, but like that, right?
It's too, I got to wait to the season start.
And when the season starts, then I can give you a better, you can a better assessor
and who's going to win it.
Well, the odds.
Yeah, just because they got all the names and the odds in Vegas saying they're going to win
it because they got, no, that ain't, that ain't hard work.
Well, I'm saying, I'm saying you put your money down right now before the season start.
If I put, if I put 50K on the six is the win right now,
I probably win about 700, 800 grand.
It's, uh, I think it's eight to one, Joe.
It's eight to one.
Yeah.
So 400.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Plus your 50 back.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
Oh, yeah.
Nice little investment.
So Joe, I take.
So I take, so I take a little 50,000 right now and put it on the heat, what you think?
I mean, not the heat.
I put it on the 76th.
How much I win?
You win 400.
You win 400?
You win $4.
about 400 k no you got to see what what the odds are now he's a big
up huh he changed it from Miami to Philly yeah now I'm saying okay okay okay
so what do you think it'd be you I'm saying you gonna bet on Philly or
you're gonna bet on Miami now I'm just saying if I took 50 and just bet on
Philly to win the whole thing yeah yeah you think that's a great investment
yeah it's cool yeah
Let me borrow 50,000.
I bet, I got you.
So basically it's not, it basically is nine to one.
So 50,000, 50,000 will pay you $450 plus your money back.
Oh, yeah.
I love, I love bad.
Let me see what the heat is.
The heat odds are.
We coming at the east.
That's all that matter.
I bet you won't bet you on bed then.
Huh?
I bet you on betting then.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, bam, a bam and Janus, you know, Andrew Wiggins.
You feel me?
Hold on, Ocho, hold on, why you, hey, hey, Clay, Clay, Clay from three.
Hey, what?
What's the odds, huh?
Them day county boys, what, huh?
What's the odds?
Uh, plus 3,000.
So you brought 30, they look like about 30 damn to 30, 20 to 30 to 1.
So he'll pay you about 1.5.
Man, get out of here.
Yeah.
Don't be mad, Joe.
You ain't gonna make that bet no way.
I bet.
I bet Philly won't be.
the heat during the season.
You saying Philly ain't gonna beat them?
Yeah, we could bet that game in game in season.
All right, I bet.
I bet whatever the first game they play,
I bet Philly win.
No, I said when, okay, bet.
I'm talking about when they play the heat.
Yeah, conference.
Now they're like 95 to 1,000,
so they're like 9 to 1, 10 to 1 to win
the Eastern Conference, Ojo.
Championship.
Matter of fact, hold on.
A, chat, let me know, when,
When the basketball scale, yeah, the schedule out.
Hey, when the heat play Philly, man?
Huh?
Cause Joe gonna stop, Joe gonna stop trying my heat, what?
All right, hold on, let me see.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, and, in, what, November 25th?
Where at?
Where they play at?
Now, that's the game we should go to.
Yeah, huh?
What we talking about?
To win the championship, Miami.
So $50,000 a bet,
or pay you $1.5, put your money back.
They ain't gonna win it though.
They're gonna be fun to watch.
They're gonna be fun to watch.
They're gonna be fun to watch.
They're gonna be fun and watch.
They only got to win.
We, hey, we gonna beat y'all.
The Hokes.
Absolutely.
Well, we got something for y'all.
Well, you can put a little 10,000 on the Joe,
to win the East.
I'll pay you to, pay you about 200, 250.
Damn.
Hold on.
To win these?
He's scared.
He's scared.
Yeah, he's scared.
Yeah, he don't want to small.
Oh.
It's tough.
Hey, listen, it does tough.
I'm also realistic too, too, man.
One thing about it, you know, I ain't trying to lose no money where I'm not in control of the outcome.
Get me?
Hey, you are you, bitch.
If I'm not in control of the outcome, I ain't better.
It's hard to think about how you try to watch the game now, you're just playing fantasy.
Now, imagine you got money tied up on the game.
How you, you ain't watching, you don't care who do what, you just looking at the outcome.
Yeah, it's going to be hard.
It's going to be hard to watch the game.

when Fox called you to be a part of the World Cup?
I was like, no, I don't want to do it.
You said no?
I played with players that didn't...
I don't think that they really truly love the game.
I found the love with the ball at my foot.
But in my head, it was the long game.
It was like, I don't care what I'm being asked to do at Fox.
I'm going to go get some reps, and I'm going to learn it and love it and embrace it.

Asia Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces send Caitlin Clark in the Indiana Fever home for the second straight year in the first round by the score of a 94, 83.
This is back-to-back seasons.
The Aces have eliminated defeated.
Asia Wilson was dominant again, 36 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks.
Caitlin Clark, finished with 18 points in four.
a far cry from the 27 and 15 she had in game two.
The Aces will now face the winner of Friday's match up between the Golden State
Valkyries and the Dallas wings.
The New York Liberty played the Atlanta Dream on the other side of the bracket.
Asia's Asia.
She's going to win a fifth MVP.
She's historically great.
I don't know.
I don't know what else to say.
Like I said, I remember the NBA, the W.
NBA from the inception. And I know all the great player that's come through the
NBA and I wish Cheryl Miller would have had an opportunity, but by the time it comes,
she was, she was way past, uh, and Cynthia Cooper and Lisa Leslie and Cheryl Swoops and
Lauren Jackson and Maya Moore and Darryl Tarasi. All of them great.
Tamika Ketchin, she'll make a whole claw. They're great. Yeah, yeah. But what she's doing,
different. Completely different. Yeah, she'll be, you're a monster.
some boy.
She got game.
She'll lead the league and score again.
She's just dominant.
She's just dominant.
Yeah.
Like I said,
and that's not a knock on any of the other women
because they've been great.
Like I said,
great.
And she gets another championship
and win the MVP,
I think it's a no-brainer.
It's over.
I don't want to hear nothing y'all got to say
about the goat.
Hold on. Hold on.
When you say no brain, exactly what do you mean?
It would be a no brain about what?
She's the goat.
Yeah, she's the goat.
The greatest of all time.
Yeah.
I think when you think about it, because of the position that she plays,
meaning she's a powerful center,
she dictates a lot of the games,
meaning whether it's rebounding, whether it's post up,
whether it's shooting a jumper,
whether it's shooting a three,
which she's expanding her game and she shoots well.
And she's a player who you go to down a stretch on that block,
Uncle Ocho 15 feet near she cash money you're about it I think a lot of those other women who you
who you talked about outside of Lisa Leslie a lot of them are perimeter oriented yeah
women you know what I mean and I just think Asia she dominates the game on both ends of the floor
we're talking about great defender great rebounder she's the shot block up be all
defensive team Joe she's defensive player of the year congratulations angel Reese she
on the defensive player of the year this year.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, congratulations to the Atlanta Dream.
Not only did Angel win defensive player the year.
She was on second team.
The Howard, the Howard girl, I think she made second team, too.
And it was a, all-W NBA?
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, hey, the dream look good, boy.
Hey, I'm talking about a complete unit, Ojo.
They got a squad, man.
They got a real chance.
They got a chance.
They got a real chance.
I was surprised how the Liberty.
Dispatch Minnesota because I thought Minnesota was the best team this year.
Right.
And for whatever reason, Stuie was dominant in the first game and then you got Anescu
did what she did the second game.
I was shocked with how easily I thought it was going to be at least a three game series.
I was surprised that how easily the Liberty handled them.
That veteran, the Liberty got a veteran presence.
They got a veteran ball club.
Johnwell Jones.
They got, Stuie.
Stuie, yeah.
They got, they got...
Sabrina Nescu, yeah.
Yeah.
They got girls who have been there before,
played at the highest level,
and, man, they just played the right way.
I think that's who the dream played next, right?
The dream played the Liberty.
Yeah, that's going to be a good one.
That's going to be a hell of one.
That's going to be a great one.
And what you call it went off last night.
Our girl, Rik, she dropped 45 on me to playoff.
Rika.
Rewamah.
Yeah, you know what?
they got three girls over there.
It's her, what's my post guard day?
Page and what's the other one, the rookie?
She's a rookie.
She out.
She's out.
Oh, is she?
Yeah.
But, boy, they got two bucket getters.
But they got the most improved player, a shepherd.
Oh, really?
Yeah, she'll rebound.
I think she was seconded rebounds.
Oh, yeah.
They ain't playing.
Them girls getting buckets out there, boy.
Yeah.
But congratulations to the Aces.
as they move on.
Now it's time for our final segment of the evening
and it's time for Q and A.
Hey, Joe.
Well, I took that nap today, Joe,
but I've been on one boy all night, boy.
All right.
If AR wanted to,
wants to retire tonight,
that don't make him no bad brother.
Who?
Aaron Rogers.
Aaron Rogers?
Oh, man, come on.
But he always fiery like that, though.
I think Joe.
Yeah.
He always fiery like that, especially when things not going right.
And Rogers did his part tonight, in my opinion.
Defense was a let down Cleveland scored 27 on them still buying the hype.
Still not buying the hype on Deshaun Watson.
It's Fugazi.
Shit.
Well, you're not supposed to believe in him.
You're not supposed to.
Obviously, most of the time when you don't believe in somebody, no matter what they do,
especially this early being at the, they're three and one.
And then he's going to have to make you believe him.
And sometimes it's really no matter what he does.
If you don't really believe in them now,
based on what he shows you,
you probably never will if you're not impressed so far.
Good job, Browns.
Us Bengals fans needed that.
Knew they got lucky.
Who they?
Ocho, we need theory on the reeds
and a big meeks on nightcap.
They fun to watch just like y'all.
It would be epic.
It would be dope.
I think if anything, I could probably get,
I'd probably get Tieri,
Thierry on here.
That'd be dope.
Shout out to Ocho for keeping it real on Deshaun Watson up
and ISO was hating.
Where?
Early?
I'm just trying to figure out.
I just kept it 100, man.
What did you see since Deshaun Watson has gotten to Cleveland?
All I said is that your is going to get a chance to play.
It's not so much if they lose.
is how does Deshaun look if they're losing?
I said,
Oh, Joe, if he looks okay when they're losing,
I think they're going to give him at least to the quarter pole.
Yeah.
Even now, even if he had looked bad,
you're three and one,
you can't make a change at the quarterback position.
It ain't no hating.
Deshawn Watson has not been good
prior to these four games.
That ain't no hate.
That's just fact.
You don't keep taking all these quarterbacks.
if you think Deshaun Watson is what he's turning out to be.
You don't draft Jill and Gabriel.
You don't take Shed Dure Sanders.
You don't take another quarterback if Deshaun Watson is what you think he is.
Even when somebody plays bad, y'all wants to praise him.
I can't do it in good conscience.
I can't.
Y'all better start.
Listen to Ocho Frico.
He'd know what he'd be talking about.
Every time.
Every time.
Now, listen, I'm wrong.
But 98% of time,
I'm always right.
So when it comes to basketball game,
when it comes to the NFL game,
when it comes to bedding, you know,
small amounts.
Put that money where you think
who's going to win the NBA championship deal.
Hello.
All by ass.
Yeah.
Wait.
No, that kind of money,
that kind of money and I'm not in control of the outcome.
What?
10 grand to win 200 something?
10 grand to win $250.
You just bet $50 to win $4.12.
Hey, listen, listen, 10 grand ain't no money.
See, y'all, y'all so far away from, see, I live a simple lifestyle.
Y'all are in a different tax bracket than me.
So I can't be 10 grand.
I can stress 10 grand for the year.
You ain't scheduled to 10 grand for the living.
Talk about, that about betting it.
You pay, you pay, you pay 10 grand above for the house.
Facts.
There is you talking about.
Hey,
ain't nobody,
ain't nobody stretching no 10 grand for no year.
I mean,
they are,
but there's some people
that have to make 10 grand work,
but boy,
you're not one of them people.

The new NFL season is here
and you should be listening to NFL Daily
as we march along

Last year, we had Mike McDonald,
Sam Darnold on the field after the game.
But that was last year.

It is in the name NFL Daily, fresh content in your feed every day all season long.

The World Cup is over, but if you caught the soccer bug and aren't sure what to do now,
check out our podcast, Big Kick Energy.
I'm Cameron Dicker, the kicker from the Los Angeles Chargers,
most accurate kicker in NFL history, but I was raised on the soccer pitches of Shanghai.
And I'm here with Timmy Tillman, L-AFC star, grew up in the academies of Germany and now under the bright lights of Major League Soccer.
So, we know a little something about kicking balls.
Maybe you're new to the game or you're ready to take your passion to the next level.
Each week we'll tackle things like who's winning the Premier League this year.
Playing like a number 10, do you know what that means?
Then we go over to France.
Ligon.
Ligon.
Liga.
He knows more.
He's better than it.
What do you think is harder?
scoring a penalty kick or scoring a field goal?
He's in the NFL and I'm like, just a big factor.
I do another.
That's crazy.
Join us each week for a quick chat with your soccer-loving bros about the best sport in the world.
Soccer.
Just don't tell my coaches I said that.
Listen to Big Kick Energy on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
I'm former U.S. Women's National Soccer team player, Carly Lloyd.
I'm Fox Sports Reporter, Jenny Taft.
And on our new podcast, whatever it takes, we're talking motherhood, marriages, careers,
and figuring out how to balance it all.
And we'll discuss the game that brought us together
because nothing is off limits.
Do you remember your initial reaction
when Fox called you to be a part of the World Cup?
I was like, no, I don't want to do it.
You said no?
I played with players that didn't,
I don't think that they really truly love the game.
I found the love with the ball at my foot.
But in my head, it was the long game.
It was like, I don't care what I'm being asked to do at Fox.
I'm going to go get some reps, and I'm going to learn it and love it and embrace it.
He said, this group of people will never be in the same room as part of the same team ever again in your life.
And it is your job to make sure that you enjoy the moment.
You're proud of what you accomplish together.

Y'all need to be apologizing to watch.
Just because y'all need to apologize to Watson for saying he need to be cut,
don't make y'all no bad brothers.
I already apologize.
We just.
Shoot.
I gave him his problem.
I was playing extremely well.
I did not see this coming because there was nothing that he's shown me since he's been in Cleveland
that he still had this in it.
I'm basing it on what you've shown me.
Somebody keep boxing you upside your head.
You say, oh, that's a good person, though.
What have he shown you to make you think that he's good?
So I'm just basing it on what I've seen since he's been in Cleveland.
Now at any point in time did I ever see one reminder of what he was in Houston
since he's been in Cleveland?
These last these games, these, these, these, these, these, these, this, these last three games.
Okay.
I can, okay.
I see.
I see.
And I'm happy for it.
Yeah.
Hopefully he can parlay that
and get another contract.
Hey, the fans were hyped for him again.
They was, bro.
The fans were hyped for him again.
Hey, going crazy.
I told you what going to happen, Uncle Joe.
Hey, winning cure is all.
They might have booed you when you got hurt,
but they had none to cheerful to begin with in the first place.
Go out there and win some games and watch what happened.
Why them people go crazy for you, right?
It's a beautiful feeling, too.
That's why he screamed the way he did after the game.
Oh, yeah.
That's a great feeling, boy.
Jerry Verst can't be this sorry, dumb penalties.
On the one play, he got tossed like a ragdoll
his teammate, injured, shaking my head.
Shout out Todd Munkin era.
Joe Biden for giving confidence to Sean Watson.
I mean, you can't, 14 penalties,
though, Cho, for 88 yards?
14?
Too many.
They're the most penalized in the NFL.
Hell.
You have, it's going to bite you.
Hey, I got, you going to get your beat.
When you least expect it.
When you, when you absolutely can't have it, it's going to bite you in the butt.
Mm.
This was a very close game.
You look at it, 24 first downs to 22 first downs, 4.13, 4 of 10, 361 in total yards,
372.
One had 12 jobs.
The other had 13.
22 or 40, 24, 33.
I mean, time of possession.
Packers had it for 31.
11, 2849, and the score would indicate just how close the game was.
Yeah.
One team was two or three in the red zone.
The other team was two or two.
Your uncle love the show.
What are your chances we can get Sir Louis Hamilton on Club Shayshay?
Brown Super Bowl bound.
Hmm.
Which Lewis Hamilton?
Formula One.
F1?
Not very good, bro.
Not very good.
I ain't for the whole year.
They tell you the other.
Not very good.
Did not.
I'm a Steelers fan, but imagine if the Browns won the division
and met the Chiefs in the AFC Championship,
Mahomes and Watson rematch.
They played in the postseason against each other before?
Yeah, Deshaun had a 24-0 lead.
And they lost?
They lost.
Yeah.
Mahom scored like 41 straight.
Damn.
Boy,
they were boiling, boy.
That was good.
Hey,
time to turn on that Johnny Kemp.
Just got paid.
It's Friday night.
Appreciate it,
a little, Joe.
Y'all,
yeah,
y'all welcome all those that won.
All those that won listening to me.
Yeah.
Listen to me now.
Listen to me.
I'm in the car.
Jesus got the wheel,
but I'm in the past.
I'm gonna take it where you need to go.
Uh, Mr. Henry say diagnosed with prostate cancer on June 23rd.
Got my prostate removed on September 14th.
Got told September 23rd that they removed all the cancer.
Nightcap been getting me through recovery on the couch.
Much appreciated.
All right, man, congratulations.
I had to deal with that in 2016.
Congrats, my boy.
Didn't have my remove, but I had the, uh, the radio,
or had a, uh, uh, uh, seed implant.
So congratulations, bro.
I know that's a scary time,
but I'm glad you're doing well.
I hope you'll stay prayed up.
And congratulations.
Yes.
Health cancer.
I enjoyed the interview with Skip.
With all due respect,
you don't need Skip on Nightcap.
You have Ocho and Joe.
What more do you need?
Y'all are some bad brothers.
Best podcast, hands down.
Fox and Mama.
Appreciate that, bro.
Thank you for watching the interview.
Hopefully a lot of other people
got an opportunity to watch it.
It's doing really well.
Like I said, Skip was very reflective.
It was great catching up with it.
It was great seeing them again.
Man, you know when you see somebody
255 days a year for seven years?
Yeah.
Tough.
It's tough, but it was good to see it, man.
Both Deshaun and Shador could play well with this cast on offense.
Well, all I know is, uh, is, uh, Deshaun is playing well.
I don't want to speculate and say what somebody else could do.
I just know what he is doing.
Thanks.
We said we wanted to see him play well.
He's playing well.
Let's just leave it at that.
Yo fellas, y'all ain't no bad brothers,
but y'all ain't mentioned my tide last week.
Not at all.
Ryan has been playing better.
That kid Russell is like that for real.
I've been enjoying watching him play.
They got a big game this week against Mississippi State.
They drive down to, uh,
so it's going to be,
that's going to be a good game.
Get an opportunity to see the big kid,
the quarterback from Mississippi State,
did everybody talk about it should jump in the portal.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're going to be out to them now.
They're going to be there.
If Deshaun Watson continue to play good
and the Browns make the playoffs,
do you see the Browns banging them back?
They got a poison pill in their contract.
If he's on their roster, I think March 13th,
it's guaranteed $200 million.
Oh, guarantee.
Guaranteed.
Another 200.
Hold on.
But what are you?
Didn't he already get that?
He got a poison pill in his contract.
Damn.
So I'm sure they try to work something out.
I guess Deshaun heard your message.
Every since he's been playing better, he's played unbelievable.
Like I said, I didn't see anything that would cause me to say that he could play like this based on what we've seen from him in Cleveland.
We know what he was.
in Houston, that's why they gave up the compensation to get him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I'm happy for him.
I am.
Hey, man, I swear, ain't nothing funnier than when Joe started talking about
in that false old voice,
it's having me dying laughing.
Camarra Taylor, that's the gentleman's name from Mississippi State.
Ocho sit there and get my blood pressure up, man.
My blood pressure gets a little high.
What I did, Joe?
I'm saying because you have me going off.
I know what he's talking about.
I get in that falsetto voice.
I know what he's talking about.
Right.
Hey, what's falsetto, Joe?
What you know, you go to, you know,
you go to talking high pitch speaking.
Yeah.
Philip Bailey, when he's saying in the reasons.
Yeah.
The reason.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
My guy, my guy, I, so Joe, we got the same name,
but you gotta stop being stingy with you know,
got the bag, but you got to set up the video room with the nightcap side in the back.
I got, I get me,
and give me,
not even two weeks, bro,
I'm gonna have something for you.
I promise you.
Give me,
give me that.
Hey,
un,
what's up with my awards,
man?
I got to decorate my,
Michelle.
I sent you the awards,
Ocho.
Man,
hey,
hey,
nah,
you ain't,
you,
you ain't sending to me.
They,
they went to.
I sent them to the address you told me to send them to.
Oh,
you're talking to buy the new,
the new house here?
Whatever address you
gave us, that's what we sent them.
Yeah, but that situation is over with it.
Well, I don't know what you want me to do.
What you do?
I need you to re-send some more.
Now, he's scared to reach out and get his award up.
Just go over there, knock on the door.
Hey, there was something that came to the house,
I would like to have it back.
Nah, that ain't, that ain't how that work.
Jayland During got a call from his elementary school.
math teacher and got 200 guaranteed.
If he plays well, he can easily make 500 over his career.
Hell, he can make more than that.
Yeah, no question.
Yeah, you're all right, bro?
Got your little bus?
That boy Porter Jr., cleared up contractitis,
cleared up just in time.
It was just a little flare up.
Hey, that back feeling good now.
Question for Joe.
How often do you get confused with Andre Johnson?
Growing up, I thought y'all confused.
I thought y'all get confused.
Same with Ocho and Tio.
I don't get confused.
I do get confused.
People do call me Andre Johnson from town, especially in the airport.
They've been Andre Johnson, and I ignore him.
You know what I mean?
But I get it.
I get it sometime when people come out and they,
He'd be like, man, y'all got to be brothers or cousins or something.
And honestly, we're not, bro.
I'm telling you, I had a chance to hang out with Andre, bro.
When I tell you y'all the same demeanor that I have, that's how that man is.
Like, he's a good dude.
He's just a good dude, bro.
Super cool dude.
Hey, nightcap, I got a suggestion.
With the playoffs going on right now and the season unfolding during the summer,
when football and basketball are in offseason, you should add a segment on the MLB.
All right.
Say, listen.
I know a little something, something.
Well, I don't, I don't know baseball like that like I used to.
Yeah, look, we're going to add bait.
We're going to add, uh, MLB.
We might as well add hockey because I can talk some hockey.
There you go.
Question for all, ever heard a head coach say,
sweep the leg and try to take out the hurt player just to get a little bit hard
on the star player.
Yeah.
We know, that's why the injury, you don't try to, you try to,
you try to, hey, lower leg, you don't try to be specific with injuries.
You say leg.
You don't say knee.
You don't say ankle.
You don't say shin.
You just say leg.
Yeah.
Because, yeah.
Joe, don't you ever call my bears Fulgazi again?
Only team I know that I see Fulgazza is them cow.
Oh.
Damn, Joe.
Hey, hey, that's stuck with him.
Because they put up that damn 60-something points
and then turn around and put up three.
Yeah, that's Fugazza to me.
I'm sorry.
Why is the media interview in Jane Daniels?
Everyone knows respectfully his mom runs the show.
Don't tell her I said that.
I don't want no smoke.
Yeah, I better leave her alone, bro.
Yeah.
Uh, Silver Fox, aka Shay Bay.
I'm gonna see how to stay looking.
I don't know about you, by December Joe.
You might be by yourself with the beer.
What?
You cutting it out?
I'm gonna see how I do.
Let Ocho.
take it over. Ocho take over the beard.
You and Ocho have a big.
Ocho can't grow no damn bed, man.
Joe, I just get a lace front, Joe.
I gotta grow nothing, but.
Oh, well, man, come on, come on.
Hey, I'll give me a little lace front beer.
Joe, ain't nothing, ain't nothing wrong with that.
Uh, hey, Joe, is something wrong with that?
A lace front beard, Ojo.
Come on, man.
I mean, women get wigs.
They get, I mean, they get lace fronts.
I mean, I mean, what?
They get lashes.
Huh?
I don't expect that from you, Ocho.
I do.
That's exactly what I expect.
I'm going to see you go out here and clown and act of food.
Hey, I get that night, little lacefront,
give me a piece up here, Joe, with waves in it.
There ain't in no, Joe.
I'm sorry.
You never know.
I look good with that little wig on that PV.
Ain't going to lie, boy.
Hey, you had it going on, boy, with that little wig.
You look like Ike Turtle.
You're looking like Larry Fishburne playing Ike Turner.
What love got to do with it?
Hey.
Herbert skipped OTAs to go on tour with his girlfriend.
That is affected his ability to gain offense.
Herbert is a coach killer.
Imagine if Lamar has skipped OTAs or hurts.
Yep.
Absolutely.
Especially with a new officer coordinator?
Damn.
I ain't want to see all that, but hey.
Do you think someone would pass 23 sacks in a season this year?
year.
Hell, look like Rousseau up in Buffalo got six and three games.
You got six already?
Six and three.
Pat Mahomes in a,
put Pat Mahomes in the charge of the same situation.
Head coach roulette,
he would have zero chips.
Chargers took Mike Williams over Mahomes in 2017.
Well, how is that his fault?
He put,
he skipped OTAs and then put the work in to learn the new system.
Second GM, third head coach.
Fifth officer coordinator, he trashed.
He didn't put the work in, period.
Blaming McDaniel ain't it.
Tua made the Pro Bowl under McDaniel.
He sure did.
Led the league in passing.
Justin got that hope insurance policy.
He constantly cashing in.
Hope he plays better soon.
Took ISO a long time to look up that for Ocho.
Must have him close to the Huah sights.
That don't make him no bad brother.
Yeah, you got a chill, bro.
You got a cheer.
Come on, man.
What's up, Love Y'all's show?
Duren should have been signed two on a million.
With how much players get played nowadays,
how would your guys be spending habits be
if you guys came into a game with the money?
Still the same.
At a young age like that, 22.
I'm going to get what I wanted.
You know, I always wanted the Mercedes,
I always wanted a Ferrari,
and I always wanted the Rolex.
I'm going to get that.
Yeah.
Now, I don't need to get a Ferrari every other,
you know, every new model come out, Ocho,
I don't need to get that.
Right.
I think that's where guys,
every time a new model come out, they try to,
nah, hell no.
I had one, I'm good, that's enough.
But I need to get me, Ocho just got that,
McLaren.
What was the, 720?
Yeah, 720P.
How often do you drive it, Ocho?
Date night.
Date night.
That's it.
If I don't drive that, I'd be in the cyber truck.
If I ain't in that, you know, I'd probably take the little Lambo, take the years, you know.
You got all that?
Yeah, Joe, I got some toys in that, Joe.
Okay.
Must be nice.
I got some toys.
I just, you know, I don't be popping it like people will be popping it.
You'll never know.
You know why you'll never know I got money?
Because I wear these same ugly ad cheetah pants every goddamn day.
Love the show.
I was wondering if y'all could shout out and give me a blessing.
I opened my own barbershop today.
It's called Frankie's, and I was hoping I can get a good blessing from the fellas.
We absolutely could.
Congratulations, bro, and opening your own business.
Hey, I don't know where Frankies is,
but if there's a barbershop named Frankies in your town,
go patronize with bro.
Congratulations, bro.
Oh, I, so this one's for you.
Rank these three usher songs, nice and slow.
you remind me you don't have to call much love nightcap uh that nice and slow
i'm going nice and slow first and then i'm going uh you remind me of a girl
that i that i'm going to with that uh yeah and then i'm going you don't have to call
It's okay, girl.
Because I'll be all right.
Yeah, yeah.
Ocho, Wilts' 100 point game
actually has radio audio for the fourth quarter
and his teammates, Tom Mercery,
has spoken about it.
Does hearing that change of mind
or you still need to see the footage?
I need to see the footage.
Oh, Ocho, ISO.
Y'all get me through.
the night's, these night audit shifts.
What did the 25 year old believe about money, love, or success that currently you would call
complete BS love from Turks and Cajos, Rubin?
Yeah.
Were you in Turks?
They in Turkey.
You live in Turks?
Yeah.
Hey, that's live, what?
What do we, at 25.
So 25, that would have been 1993 for me.
I ain't really have no money right there until I signed that contract.
I was just talking about, oh, you and Joe about that.
I bet I had kids.
I knew I had to have it.
Man.
Success.
I knew I had to put the work in to be successful because I had tasted a little success.
And it's just like anything.
It's like if you work it out and you see your body change a little bit,
you become even more motivated to work out harder and longer.
That's how I was with success.
Once I started, I go to the pro bowling.
Now all of a sudden, I'm the guy, everybody, you know,
hey, I'm John Elway's favorite.
receiver I'm it drove me man yeah love I haven't know you back there bro I love football
that's what I loved well not gonna come in between and neither boy it no it wasn't
I'm serious I tell people that like I'm telling about no woman no nothing
they were like I'm locked in I'm locked in bro oh yeah
Um, now I've tried to have it like, but it's kind of hard, man.
It's, it's kind of hard because is that once you've been successful doing something a certain way,
that's kind of how the way you do all things.
Yep.
Because you know that method is tried and true.
Yep.
