Starting point is 00:00:00 Ready for a different take on Formula One? Look no further than No Grip, a new podcast tackling the culture of motor racing's most coveted series. Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-explored pockets of F1, including the astrology of the current grid, the story of the sports most consequential driver's strike and plenty of other mishaps, scandals, and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire
Starting point is 00:00:22 for more than 75 years. Listen to No Grip on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Alarcon, and this is my friend. This is much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green, co-host at the podcast The Away End, with my old friend Daniel. On our podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Listen to the Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I am Greg Rosenthal. I know that, Greg. We're teaming up on 40s and free agents, the podcast that owns the NFL offseason. This is where teams are built. Free agency, combine, pro days, trades. Every move matters.
Starting point is 00:01:16 From my draft boards and mock drafts to my vaunted top 101 free agents and how rosters come together. Quarterback movement. Surprise signings. We'll tell you what it means and who really wins. Open your free IHeart radio app. Search 40s and free agents and listen now. This is Julian Edelman, host of games with names. On our latest episode, we got comedian Blake Anderson from Workaholics and The Hilarious This is Important Podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Let's go. We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team? Yes, we would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us. It's competition. What you would win is a bottle of gold shlogger. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the IheartRadial app or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:02:02 This financial literacy month, we are talking about the one investment most people ignore, building a business around the life you actually want. It was just us, making happen whatever he said was going to happen and then it happened. On those amigos, entrepreneurs like America Sam and Joe Huff get real about money, taking risk, and while your dream might be the smartest move. At the end of my life, what am I really going to care about? And the conclusion I came to is what I did to make the world a better place and whatever. way.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Listen to those amigos on the I-Hare radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Demar DeRosen only needs to average 18 points per game and another 105 games to surpass Shaq in career points and enter the top 10. I find this deeply disturbing. Disturbing? F you mean! Who in the hell do you have an opinion on somebody's career? Clown?
Starting point is 00:02:53 Who is it? Somebody tweeted, Demar DeRose. because if he average 100. So basically if he plays two more years, average 18 points a game, he's going to crack the top 10 and score. And the guy says, well, I find that disturbing because this man's going to pass Shaq.
Starting point is 00:03:14 There are, it's a different game. And he's still playing, he's still putting the ball at, and the bucket at an elite level. Yeah. Okay, that's okay. There are a lot of players that's going to pass some perennial,
Starting point is 00:03:29 great. In far as passing touchdowns, receiving touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, that doesn't mean that they're a better player. Yeah, the game is different. Look at all these guys that's passing Marino and passing touchdowns and passing yards. That passed L weight.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Game different. What are we doing? Yeah. These records, I mean, you don't say, I mean, did you sit the record for perpetuity? Did you think like nobody sold that. The words, whatever the record was, it's going to be frozen in time.
Starting point is 00:04:00 So nobody can crack the top 10, but the top 10. Yeah, it's more so the name. Yes. That's all. These guys know more. These guys are in better shape. They eat different.
Starting point is 00:04:15 They train different. The game faster. And plus, the money is so great now is that, bro, I'm going to try to make this $20 million, however long money they're making. I'm going to try to make this as long as that possible.
Starting point is 00:04:29 McCann. You hear me? If you're a good player now, or Joe and Ocho, if you don't make $6,700 million, you need your ass whipped. Boy. That ain't but two or a half contract.
Starting point is 00:04:41 It's just locking in. Yes. Locking in, bro. Good night. Jason Tatum is already in the top 10 of money earned, and that he ain't even 30. Jason Tatum is going to get a crack a billion dollars in NBA salary.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Yes. He's going to probably get him another $250. Oh, he got another $1. Yeah, he'll get another, he's going to get another Supermax. Dude. Damn. Yeah, okay. Demar de Rosen 16.
Starting point is 00:05:13 He's going to pass a lot of people. Yeah. Hell, he played another three, four years. Hell, he might pass a Will Chamberlain. Dirk the fish, what the hell? I would tomorrow this one. Well, Rory Macaroid had to wait more than a decade to win the Masters and complete the Combreer Grand Slam.
Starting point is 00:05:42 But guess what? He went back to back. He only had a wait a year to take his second trophy because he becomes the first back-to-back champion since Tiger was completed defeat in 2001, 2002. Now he joins Jack Nicholas in 6566, Nick Fowdo, 899, Tiger 0102, and now Rory McElroy does it. Rory won his sixth major title, his second or a master's title, in the last 12 month,
Starting point is 00:06:08 which has firmly planted himself among the 10 best golfers of all time. The question is, how high can he climb? He's back to back. He's back to back. So he's only the fourth golfer to ever go back to back at the Masters. He already has six major titles, and he's already completed the slam. So he's won the British Open.
Starting point is 00:06:40 the U.S. Open, the PGA, and the Masters, and two of those are Masters. Damn, out is Roy. 30. And then, you know, you get four cracks a year. How is Roy? Ash. 30, 31? 36. 36. I didn't know. 36. Hell, you know, Phil, Phil won a major damn there at 50.
Starting point is 00:07:13 So you can play golf for a long, long, long after time. Long time. Damn. You know, the funny thing about golf, too, it's hard to be consistent. Yeah. As difficult as the game is, as great as all the players are,
Starting point is 00:07:30 it's very difficult to be consistent. You got to compete against the course. You're not competing against other guys. They're playing the course. They're playing the same court. Yeah. Hey, you got to put some real time in with their golf, boy.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Oh, hell yeah. I'm talking about, I ain't talking about no two hours, neither. I'm talking about, yeah, four, five, six hours. Yeah. A day. Yes. Putting, chipping.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Use wedges, using irons, fair wood. Yes, yes. You got to put it in time. You got basically, basically, basically, you become obsessed. Yeah. It's just like anything.
Starting point is 00:08:07 A basketball player, football player, tennis. How much time you think Serena and Venus put in? How much you think Alcaraz and Center and Federer and Adol and Yokevich? How much time you think they put in to get great at that? And listen, hey, also I got homies who play golf.
Starting point is 00:08:27 I'm talking about for them boys to be out there eight hours, man. Yeah. Yeah. They plan for fun too, huh? They bragging rights, fun, they gambling. They're doing all types. Everything going on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Yeah. It's a, I'd never, you know, my brother loves it. He's addicted to it. You know, he's got to build back up because, He had to take that time out for his eye. He had, you know, three or four eye surgeries. He had a detached retina, and, you know, he had to be face down for 20 plus hours a day. And so he had, he's got to build back up, but he loves it.
Starting point is 00:09:02 He's back out there now, but he love it. Man, bro, you need to come out here and join me. Click. Let me hang up over you right quick. I ain't coming out of there, man. I grew up in the South. Grew up in the son, Ocho. I can't take the son like that no more, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Yeah. man I grew up to talk about you gotta think about it on Joe from the time I can remember until I retired at 35 I've been in the sun so I was in the son 30 plus year I can't do the son no more man
Starting point is 00:09:29 son beat my ass man it'd be so hot in the garage like damn hey I can't get I can't I can't get in the golf until I can't move no more man yeah I can't I can't
Starting point is 00:09:43 I can't be able to run I can't be able to do nothing And it just ain't no movement for me, Joe. I got to be moving around. I got to be doing something. God, man, golf a patient game, bro. You got no patience, Ocho. You ain't, yeah, you can't do it.
Starting point is 00:10:00 I just go to top golf and hit the ball and eat. Hey, look, I like doing that too, though, why you play. Yeah, I do that. I only do know if I can do that. Now, y'all don't mess my leg up playing bowling. I don't even know I can hit the golf ball no. Oh, man, come on. Y'all ruined me.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I don't know what I'm going to do, man. Y'all don't cost me a couple days. I got to get it right. I got my birthday covered up. I got to get in shape. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:28 What's you doing for your birthday? Yeah. Yeah. I was a fool dog. That's about it. I ain't doing too much. No, I got, like I'm saying, I got, hold on. What a day is?
Starting point is 00:10:41 What's the day's date? Date of 13. Day to 13. Okay. How many, how many days in this month? 31 or 30? April 30th? April 30th.
Starting point is 00:10:52 April 30th. 30. Okay, they got 30. They got 31 in May. So I got no 17. May. 31, that's 48. My birthday.
Starting point is 00:11:06 So I got by, I got about two, I got about 10 weeks. Okay. I'm going to see what I can do. I'm going to see if I can peel this on you one more time. You know what I bet? I'll be if I can peel this one more time. Yeah, 38.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Hey. Hold on. You peeling the onion, but what's you peeling the onion for? To do what? You gotta be. You gotta have. You got to have.
Starting point is 00:11:32 I just try to tell you. I'll just take the cover full dog. That's it. That's it. That's all like, that's all like, hey, like Joe say,
Starting point is 00:11:41 slow motion better than no motion. Hello. I got some motion, though, but it's slow. At least take a nice little trip somewhere, man. I mean, you know. You know, I'm trying to. From the living room to the balcony, that's a trip.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I got to build my strength back up. They're on right leg, you know, it feels a little better on Cho. So I got to get back in there squad. I got to get my, you know, back up. Yeah. I got you. What I used to be. I got you.
Starting point is 00:12:15 You know, I ain't what I once was, but I'm better than 99% of the mofos that I'll be. There you go. There you go. No, no, no. Ain't nothing. Yeah. Ain't no, ain't no slow by the old shade, but it won't right now.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Oh, that boy, hey, that boy, about to turn 58. Oh, yeah, he's going to cut a rug. Mm-hmm. Hey, look, I'm about to turn 45 over here, man. I'm about to do a little something, too. You hear me? Whoa. Wait, wait, wait, well, okay.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Joe? Let's do something. Hey, I'm going to throw this thing and go party over here. You hear me? Oh, you're throwing a party? I'm there. I'm going to throw this thing or party over here, yeah. Okay, okay, Joe.

Make sure you check out our Discord and maybe we'll list one of your videos. Here's the first one. Let's take a listen. What's up? Oh, Joe. I saw I got a question for you man Oh I watched some of your highlights today man
Starting point is 00:18:38 One of the greatest players I've ever seen I don't see how you got the name Iso But I know how you got the name Iso But that should have caused your buzz to beat the dog Because you You was cleaning that buzzer beating them buzzes But my question is In your prime
Starting point is 00:18:57 In Jordan Prime In Kobe Prime Best out of five. Do you think you could beat one of them? Best out of five, and how many games do you think you could have won? I think you could have won five with all of them. But I want to know what you think. Yeah, yeah, I kicked their ass.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Hey, yeah, talk that, talk that shit, Joe. Look, I got a chance to compete against Kobe, numerous occasions. I had some great battles with him, which I think what people understand from a two guard standpoint. When I first came into the league, Uncle Ocho, I was a strictly two guard. I wasn't playing really small for it, power for it. Right. Come into about 12, 13 years on down the line. So me being a big two guard, I'm about the biggest two guard in the league. Guys couldn't guard me. I post up, uh, shoot the three, had a nice handle. I could get to wherever I wanted to. So I never had a problem with guys like that. You know what I mean? Would they give me
Starting point is 00:20:02 problems yeah but for the most part I always feel like I can hold my own for sure yeah who I'm talking about Joe that's okay let's take a listen Nightcap Big Three what's good with y'all man Isaiah tapping in again from Northern California look man I got a bone to pick
Starting point is 00:20:20 with Unc and Joe and the chat I don't think I've seen any of y'all give Ocho any kind of support y'all just be thinking this man lying just the lie and he doesn't mean what he says He doesn't, you know, he doesn't say what he means. Look, man.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Hey, Joe, you're going to find out when he gets you on that court and when he gets you in that ring. And I hope Ocho do some work on you because you was hating on my take last week about Kelton Johnson winning six men of the year, dog. Like, you was naming everybody except Kelton Johnson, man. You rooting against your own cousin winning six man of the year. That's crazy, dog. Hey, Ocho, handle this man, Joe, bro. Handle Joe for me. Hey, I support you, Ocho, from the Bay Area to Dade County.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Love. That's what I'm talking about. Hey, hey. Ocho, you better tell you, man, he might want to stay out this mess, okay? He might want to, he might want to stay out this mess. I'll tell you, he's going to get ugly. Oh, it ain't going to get ugly. It's going to get ugly.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Hey, no, no, no, no, no, Joe. He's right. He's right. And listen, all I need is, all I need is one supporter. That's all I need. I don't need everybody to support me. I enjoy being the bad guy. I enjoy being the villain.
Starting point is 00:21:34 You hear me? And you got to like you. But one thing about it is when we touch that court, when we touch that court and you see them tassels? Yeah. We see them tassels. You know what time. Hey, look.
Starting point is 00:21:46 And this hit Joe? Oh, you don't want none of this, Joe. Hey, hey. Hey, hey. Hey, that's all I need is for one person to piss me off. And when I get pissed off, I'm talking about I'm going to go berserk. I don't tell you that now. Well, you got two.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Him and Joe. him and uh ohcho yeah yeah so somebody ass in trouble that's all i got to say all right keep that same energy now yeah i'm just letting you know yeah that same energy here's our third one let's take a listen what up night cat um ohcho and still hey hello you know sure boy brandon live from west virginia sending going to work man just wanted to say thank y'all man y'all make over night shifts go by so fast laughing at y'all man but my question is Joe you were a Jordan brand athlete so quite sure you've collected a lot of cool kicks over the years and Uncle's a well-known sneaker head so if y'all had like a battle
Starting point is 00:22:46 who you think I do most exclusive sneakers damn uh I don't really know I sold a bunch of mine yeah me too I ain't gonna lie to you I sold 300 I think 313 to 323 pairs You did a auction. Yeah. Yeah. But I just didn't have Jordan. I had like Air Maxes. I had like Air One's. I had 95s, 97.
Starting point is 00:23:17 So I had a bunch of stuff. I had bronze. I had some exclusive stuff from Edison Chin, Nigel Sylvester. I mean, I had a lot of stuff. Yeah. A lot of, I mean, like I had the OGs, like the cool grades, like when they came out, not the retroes.
Starting point is 00:23:34 Yeah. Breads and cements, yeah. Yeah, I had a lot of player edition shoes that, you know, they only made for, like, for us guys from, you know, different, like, I play here in Atlanta, so I had, like, the Atlanta colors, things of that sort. So I had some pretty exclusive stuff, but like, like you said, I had, I didn't get rid of so much, so much of that stuff, man, I don't nearly have as much as I used to have, you know what mean yeah i still i still got i still got some stuff i need to get rid of because i mean when it
Starting point is 00:24:05 come down to it oh jo and jo i just wear the same sneakers yeah i ain't been to go i ain't been to go through all them boxes you know i still i still got some exclusive stuff i still like got the the jordan olympics uh the murals and i got the uh i still got the uh the doranbeckers the superman so i got like uh uh duck stuff organ duck stuff but yeah i'm probably going get up off that too in the next probably year or two. Yeah. I say, Uncle Joe, I didn't simplify in my closet. My closet is about three different, three different styles.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Yeah. Nike Air Force Ones. My black chucks and my white chucks, a high top pair and a low top pair. Yeah. You know, a bunch of Adidas sambas. Man, listen. Literally, that's it. Now, you obviously have been a pair of boots.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Hey, look, I'm willing to get rid of a lot more, but I wear a damn size 16. And ain't many people weren't no 16, you know what I mean? So I'm stuck with a lot. I don't got home boys who were 16, none of my kids, you know, so a lot of just kind of sitting. Yeah, boy, side 16, but you're going to be kind of slow trying to hang with me, huh? Hey, hey, yeah, all right. Okay. But side 16, but you're going to be two, you're going to be about two, three steps behind, Joe.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Yeah. Here's our fourth and final one. Let's take a listen. Uncle, Ocho, ISO. What they do, King, ISO, my bad. Listen, I love y'all. Love y'all to death, especially you, Chad. But I got some smoke for you, my boy.
Starting point is 00:25:35 I got some smoke. Listen. For one, you owe my uncle some money. And two, you owe the anointed one. Some money, too. Because you ain't getting away with them tickets. You're going to offer them tickets. All right, listen.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Yeah. So that's how we're going to settle this. Not only is he going to get you on one-on-one. Because you know, Chad, I love you again. It's from the heart. But you ain't got no chance. But anyways, this is what we're going to do. We're going to tie your left hand behind your back.
Starting point is 00:26:00 You got three minutes. Unk, Joe, we're going to get them. Love, Chad. It's all peace. She had to say mine. You know what I'm saying. Love y'all. Keep doing what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I listen to you guys every day. I drive a truck for Amazon. So, yeah, y'all get me through my day. Love. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey. Hey, hey. Hey, hey.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Stop leaving a package at the front gate. Yeah. Yeah. You got the cold break. That's like put on the down porch. Hey, matter of fact, you know what, he just pissed me off. Huh? Hey, Peebo Bryson just pissed me off, now, Joe.
Starting point is 00:26:31 He didn't make it worse for you. Huh? Yeah, Peebo Bryson didn't make it work for you, Joe. Yeah, it's on now. Sam LeGrad ain't up. If the Lakers managed to win the first round series against Houston, you've got to break out the goal. Ready for a different take on Formula One?

Starting point is 00:30:54 Oh, man, for nightcap. Oh, hey, hey. used to the catbird system undisputed days. Yeah, we got, you know, we got something. I need to get me a whole, man, he went the first round series. I might bring out a whole goat costume. As a matter of fact, I might get a goat. You have a goat in there like I had on undisputed.
Starting point is 00:31:12 You're going to go get you a goat with a little baby goat. Yep. Well, hey, because if they pull that out, that mean Brian does a hell of a shit for it. Oh, for show. E.J. 71. What's up? What's up, guys? Love the show. Make a lie jar for Ocho. $200 per line and split it after the year. First of all, Ocho was supposed to start a swear jar. He started that in the first year.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Me? Ain't no money. What a jar at Ocho? Oh, no, I talked to my therapist. My therapist said I need to express myself in all ways I can. And so part of me expressing myself, even though I have extensive vocabulary, you know, people think because you curse, you don't have extensive vocabulary. Yes, I do. It's just saying, hey, hey, Joe, if I sit here and say, May you know what Joe? Boy, I love you, Joe, boy, you're my dog. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Sound cool. Yeah. You know? But if I say, man, Joe, boy, I fucking love you, boy. See? Yeah. Yeah. That adds meaning.
Starting point is 00:32:11 That has emphasis on what I'm trying to get across. Yeah. Don't nobody cook no food without no seasoning. Yeah, right. It gets what it does. Huh? Guess what other than it adds. What?
Starting point is 00:32:24 It adds $5 to the square jar. So you add some seasoning it. Add $5 to it. Okay, that's fine. That's fine. Man, how much money you think we'd have if Ocho would have kept
Starting point is 00:32:37 the swear jar that he started our first year, and he'd say he'd put $5 in every time he swear? How much money do you think we have? A few grand? You have a few grand. Hey, listen, I've been working on it. It's like an alcoholic trying to stop drinking, uh, you know?
Starting point is 00:32:53 I'm trying. You can't. A alcoholic can't be around. Alcoholic, if you want to stop. Well, I mean, would you want me stop talking? I ain't saying that.
Starting point is 00:33:06 We might have cut out nightcap to get him to start cussing, but he's going to cuss somewhere else. You know, he just don't curse on here. Tyreel, oh, Joe, if you can compare your careers
Starting point is 00:33:17 or playstyle to an NBA player, who would it be? And ISO, who would you compare yours to an NFL term? It can, it can be past or present. Damn,
Starting point is 00:33:30 who? Hey, um, you'll be better because you know basketball better than I do. Who would that be? AI. Yeah, I just say that. Hold on. Who'll say AI? Who do you?
Starting point is 00:33:48 You're talking about artificial intelligence. There ain't no way to hear. You're talking about out of the hour. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's about the same, yeah. Same, do it your way, you know. Didn't change, didn't conform. it's hard
Starting point is 00:34:09 for me my ability to start and stop that's what I could do I can start stop I had I had shake I would probably say I'll probably say I say like an Andre Johnson yeah
Starting point is 00:34:46 that's a good one that's a good one I would probably you know what I'll probably say Luca because Luca ability to start and stop Yeah, you're You'd be a bad mofo, ain't you?
Starting point is 00:35:09 Yeah. That would I go, I run a ride. Oh, hey, Joe, I run a right now. I said that thing down. Because you got to realize I came from a wide receiver. I was a wide receiver that moved a tight end. Yeah, yeah. Tight ends, they clumber some.
Starting point is 00:35:21 They play a bumper cars. They want to bump into the guy and break away. Nah, I ain't trying to let you touch me because I know you didn't grab me. And I wasn't that big. I wasn't like a gronk or a Gonzales guy that can, you know, that can bump a car bump until you and break away. So now I'm trying, oh, oh, no. I'm getting skinny.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Now you see me, now you don't. Tony, yo, if Shade wins another MVP title, is he the third best point guard ever? I see him as a shooting guard, but he passes hard and is right behind D. Wade. Thoughts. Yeah, yeah. If he win another one,
Starting point is 00:36:01 but he'll point though so that means he got to be well he'll probably be the third man because you know magic and and and and and and stuff and he'll because he does he does handle the ball
Starting point is 00:36:17 I mean no matter what we want to think about AI and hard yeah there were two guards but they got listed his point guards so they go down his point guards Joe yeah there were two guards masquerading his points there you go there you go
Starting point is 00:36:31 Yeah, he's a different breed, bro. Yeah. You know, focus, locked in. Keep his nose clean. He's playing. Super hard working. Yeah. You get another one, boy.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Yeah, he's going to be up in there. He's going to be in that conversation, huh? He's going to pass some dudes, some legends. Yeah. Sir Alexander, I so my Arkansas bro. We're up that far as city. ran into Brandon Roy. Can you talk about his game?
Starting point is 00:37:05 And is he on the what-if list? Oh, of course. Brandon Roy was tough. Played in Portland. I competed against him for a number of years. Always was a tough battle. Me and him had some great battles, some great one-on-one battles.
Starting point is 00:37:21 But he had everything. Okay, Ocho. The boy had bounce. He could score. He could shoot the midi. He could shoot the three. He could post up. He could defend.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Yeah. If he weren't for those knee injuries he had, him and Lamarcus, oh, my God. That boy was serious, man. Had plenty of game, a whole lot of it. Yep, he one of them was, man. What if? Damn. What if?
Starting point is 00:37:49 J. Dub, Akron, I so you must have missed what Ocho told you to have the Miss Rabbit punch you while performing. Ocho got to explain that logic. He said what? He said, told Ocho, you have to have the Miss, Miss Rabbit Punch while you performing. The Miss Rabbit Punch. Yeah. Ocho, what, uh, uh, huh? You told Ocho, he needed to have the rabbit punch?
Starting point is 00:38:18 Oh, Joe, remember I told you? What? But, you know, when she, what, but we talked about that on the show the other day, you were like, no, I ain't, I ain't doing that. Oh, what, whoa, whoa, whoa, what about it? Donkey Punch. You got to tell her. donkey punch you right in the back of the head. For what?
Starting point is 00:38:36 You know, when she, you know, your groceries. No, no, no. No, no. Come on, Joe. Hey, Joe, I'm cool. Joe, you ain't living, Joe. Hey, look, look, everywhere out I'm being, I'd have had somebody. I did an event with the Hawks today.
Starting point is 00:38:52 A dude stopped me. A dude stopped me talking about that. Talking about, man, I'm like that Ocho crazy, man. I said, yeah, they are crazy. Yeah, I know something wrong with it. Hey, no, Uncle Ocho. It's Ocho. ain't no hook.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Ojo be trying to pull me into a shenanigans, man. Man, I go, man, leave my alone, Ocho. I ain't got time for you in his pooh. That's Ocho. Sheldon Pope 51-25, Netflix aired the jailblazers documentary this week. Iso, what do you remember from competing against them in the 2000 Portland teams?
Starting point is 00:39:30 Oh, man. And they were very explosive, my rookie year, when I played against their Portland team. Scotty Pippen was on their team. I took Scotty Pippen from Arkansas. It was like my first time really getting a chance to see him in person to even meet him in person. So I thought that was pretty cool. But outside of that, you know, they were a hell of a team, bro, who really had a great chance to at least get to the finals,
Starting point is 00:39:57 to the unfortunate collapse that they had, you know, in that, what was that game, What was that, the 2000 finals or 2000 Western finals or the 2000? Oh, yeah, when they, when they choked against Shaq? Oh, man. They had that lead, yeah, I think that was. That was 2000. Yeah, 2000. Yeah, mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Raha. Hey, I think you were at a point where LBJ won't get the love he deserves until 5, 10 years after retired. People don't know what they're watching. They don't. I'm not so sure they don't know. I don't know if they're properly appreciated. Because a lot of times we don't know properly appreciate greatness when we see it.
Starting point is 00:40:40 It's not until it's retired. Yeah, he long gone. Before everybody really appreciate me like, man, damn, we really took dude for granted. Yep. Yeah. But that happens. I mean, like, you're watching,
Starting point is 00:40:55 did you really appreciate Michael Phelps when he won eight gold medals? do you really appreciate you saying when he's running those times you're like you're just like oh hey somebody else's going to come no or or serena you just take it for granted yeah it's not until they're like damn man serena really dominated tiger woods really dominated these guys winning i mean tiger woods winning eight nine 10 tournaments in a year they see like now we got a we got a winner every other week. Yeah. Tiger showed up Tiger winning.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Yeah. Yeah. That's how greatness is, bro. That's how greatness is. It's a savage. OKC fan. What's our chance looking, running it back, fellas?
Starting point is 00:41:45 We're looking good? You're looking damn good. Got a great chance, a great opportunity. Damn good. Very. Some guys that's hungry, too. And everybody healthy, too?
Starting point is 00:41:59 Yep. Got a great chance. Trail diggin. oh, can you hit that love train for the chance this Sunday congrats on two million. Man, man, they were telling the story because I love
Starting point is 00:42:12 that song. And he was telling the story, I was like, damn. Two members. Same group. Seeing the same woman. Man, what? Wait, love train. LTT? No, that's Confunction. Oh, Confucian.
Starting point is 00:42:30 Oh, that's what the song. LTD was with Jeffrey Osborne. Jeffrey Osborne. with the Leaf singer, then he went solo on his own. It happened sometime, Ocho, you don't know what you don't know. Boy, listen, man. How they ain't know they were seeing the same woman, though? Cause.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Hey, she kept that thing on the hush. It tells me, like, well, damn, he was right there. He was talking about her, you know, hey, man, I bet this bad girl, man. Hey, Joe Ocean. Yeah. Yeah. Man, what's your little like? Man, she's about five, eight, five, nine.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Light skin, got her natural hair, I mean, body to die for. What's her name? What you mean at? Yeah. How long you've been talking to her? Uh-oh. Hey, you know, hey, you know what they start asking yet? How long have you been talking to her?
Starting point is 00:43:40 Yeah. Oh, Lord. Yeah, you know what so. Yeah, but, hey, man, be straight, man. Hey, you know something about those girls. The man don't leave out. Don't let your boy be out there, man. Joe, Joe, Joe, you know, hey, you know the rookies coming like,
Starting point is 00:43:53 we've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there since 90. So I kind of know, I don't know everybody, but I kind of know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Shaw, what's up, man? What's on with her girl? Yeah, she used to, you know, talk to such and such. But, yeah, I think she's cool. But, you know, she used to talk to X, Y, Z, but he's no longer here. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:09 I ain't fit to let you be out there just blind. Yeah. but, you know, sometimes, hey, they want what they won't. So what you're going to do? All I can do is just give you the information on, Cho. That's it. You do what you want to do with it. Hey, hey, sometimes that hoo-ha-ha-haping that choke, boy, they ain't stut in nothing.
Starting point is 00:44:28 They won't? Yeah. It's been that way wars have been started. Man. I mean, why did Samson tell Delilah where a strength lie? David, why he do that? Adam took a bite about it out of the
Starting point is 00:44:54 he told, hey, you eat all these trees. He, where you want to? Oh, E's started talking to it. There you go. What that joke was like, McGruff took a big bite out of the crime. Yeah, yeah. Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Cold game, boy. It is. Sir Alexander, are y'all going to ask someone to talk baseball like C.C. Barnes or maybe Jeter? Nah, man, they're, honestly,
Starting point is 00:45:22 Sir Alexander, there's not really enough interest from our people in our chat to justify it. Triple X up Saturday, Ocho picked the Lakers, man, Lakers's about to get swept. They know he's janky. Hey, the funny thing about it is when it comes to teams I pick, I don't lose. Y'all see, y'all laugh at my bracket for March Madness. Oh, man, you pick mascots. Even though I still came out better than y'all to.
Starting point is 00:45:59 You ain't win. You ain't win, none? I still came out better than y'all too long as I beat y'all. That's all I care about. Okay. I tell you what, next year we're going to pick and we're going to put some money on the line. Uh-oh. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:46:11 See, here, now I got to lock in now. I got to lock in. That's what we're going to do. Yeah. Each of us put $1,000 up. There we go. Wait, how much? A thousand.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Yeah. that's what I thought now pick mask off again that dumb king Iso did your son finally learn how to make those sandwiches
Starting point is 00:46:35 still laughing at that story man self-nature yeah you ain't learn how to make those damn sandwiches you go hungry and no boy you whatever in there
Starting point is 00:46:45 you'll find a way to make something yeah Sam Legrand 89 I saw a cowboy fan so it's all the natural that he bring delusion into his back

Starting point is 00:47:18 Joe, I run through you. Hey, why you crazy? Joe, you ain't got enough bricks in your pocket, boy. What? You hear me? But, hey, Joe, you see the animal I had to deal with, man, during my career, Joe. Man, I would have ran through you, Joe.
Starting point is 00:47:30 You ain't going through no contact, Ocho. You're trying to get around somebody. You ain't trying to go through them. I'm running through people, Joe. Joe said he ain't even never, they never did Oklahoma, Joe. He'll shut you down, Ocho. Joe. Damn.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Joe, I'm going right through you, Joe. Hank, you know that boy. Hey, Joe. Hey, matter of fact, I'm going to show you, I'm going to show you when I get the ball. When we play one-on-one, I'm going in the post. Okay, all right. I'm going on in the post. And I'm going to back you down like Shaq back when you were the Lakers.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Huh? What we talking about, man? I got something you can't measure, Joe. What's that in your heart? You can't measure that, Joe. Right, burn, fellas. I turned the Big 2-5 on Saturday, and I'm drawing a blank on plans. What did y'all get until y'all 25th?
Starting point is 00:48:23 Straight out 501, love ISO. Home team. I'm the wrong one to ask, boy. My every birthday. He said, what we get for our 25th birthday? Yeah, man, you know how long with that been? Hold on, hold on. You know, my 25th birthday, I had a party back home
Starting point is 00:48:39 and a little rocking. Jagged his age came and performed. To that thing. Talking about to tow that thing down. You hear me? Dang. Oh, Joe. Toad that thing down.

Starting point is 00:49:27 I do, bro. I do. Baburray, oh, Joe. you and Iso play 1 v1, you got to go at the knee. If Iso can't finish the game, that means you win, right? Yeah. And you're going to cheap shot me?
Starting point is 00:49:41 Nah, that was his idea. I don't want to cheat shot you. I want to finish. You wanted to stand, so you want to be a fast squarely. I want him there. I want him to get back on the show and say, you know what, Ocho, I underestimated you. Underestimated everything. I take back everything I said about you, you're the real deal.
Starting point is 00:50:00 In fact, he probably going to say, you know what, you should have hooped. See, the thing is, when I kick your butt, I don't really get no stripes for that, because I'm supposed to do that. You feel me? Hey, Joe, you get striped because I'm talking trash. I mean, your grill, Joe. I'm telling you, you not for nothing. The chat I already know that I'm going to dismount to you.
Starting point is 00:50:19 They already know. The chat is basically off your, what they've seen you do in the NBA. And this is a NBA rules. The jailhouse rule, Joe. And based off how they. seeing you hoop before. That's what they're going out for. You think, yeah, it ain't just me. Joe. Just worry about the elbow, Joe.
Starting point is 00:50:37 Just worry about the elbow, Joe. That's all I got to say. Matter of fact, you know, I don't want to do too much tongue wrestling. Just, you know what it is. Hey, uh, Joe, I saw bees on Friday, and he said he'll let you heal up, but, uh, he's, he's looking for that. Oh, yeah, he won't just smoke. He won't just say?
Starting point is 00:50:55 Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, this nigga right. He can get it. He can get it to here. Ain't nobody exempt. Huh? Rocky Handley, today is my 49th birthday, the biggest fan. Rocky, I appreciate that, man. Happy birthday, bro. 49. One more year round of sun. 5-0.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Kevin Boutonite. What's up, Bochow? No, I was a happy birthday. Okay. Oh, your 12th and 214 was the chief was a god tear. What was your first thought when the clock reached zero? Well, we went overtime in that game. I didn't know I had the record.
Starting point is 00:51:31 I know I had some yards, but I didn't know I had the record until, I think it was Jim Sacramento? I think Jim Sacramento came after the game and told me you set an NFL record. I said for what? Say the most receiving yards in the game by tight end. I had no idea.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I didn't even know what the record was. How many yards was it? I had 214. I wrote the record with 212. Damn. Yeah. And I had 31 yards at the half, Coach. had 183
Starting point is 00:52:02 and two touchdowns in the second half I'm saying the second half what was it different they got me the ball we were down and we were down and uh you had the throat we had the throat
Starting point is 00:52:15 and uh they were playing you had that look on you you getting out getting up through that first play out the second half go 82 on them
Starting point is 00:52:28 hmm Pick them up, putting them down. Oh, yeah. But I probably should have had. I probably should have had $2.50. T.J. Mot 21. How good was Albany State back of your day? I'm from Camilla, Georgia, where Grover Stewart, the DT on the coach from Iso and Steel.
Starting point is 00:52:52 Love y'all. Albany was good, but we cooked them. I lost, hold on. I lost the Albany State once. I lost the Fort Valley once. I ain't never lost the Clark lost the Moor House once but Aubin that was good
Starting point is 00:53:12 I'll be there at a nice squad but hey hey with number two come to town you already know the deuce is loose what why we did a number on them
Starting point is 00:53:26 hey I lost the Fort Valley my first year but that's when they had Greg Lloyd and Eddie Anderson they called the defense blue death. Oh, they were loaded. But after that,
Starting point is 00:53:43 no more. No more, Ocho. They beat us in our place my freshman year. Then I go back to them, hit them for eight for 122. Then they come back to us my junior year. I hit them for $1.97. Yeah, I get it like that.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Oh, yeah. Cucking. Easy for that. Just mixing stuff in the pot. Tad ass up. Caleb Robinson. I'm sorry, as much as I love old goat, LeBron James, Brian and James, Bryce James, Rick James.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Robinson, too. Hey, y'all bulljabbing. Bronny getting better and better, Joe. He is. He looks good out there. He's starting a lot more comfortable. I think. Had a double-digit quarter.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Yeah. The third quarter, hey, a couple of three, got to the right. You know what? Because it's like when I watch him in the G league, he'd be down there dominating. Yes. He's got to bring, he just got to bring that attitude,
Starting point is 00:54:46 that confidence. He got to bring it with him when he play with the Lakers, bro. Yep. That's all they got to do. Richie shoots all. If you guys can make a starting lineup with the players that surprise you the most this season,
Starting point is 00:55:01 what would it be? We might have to get a close-up to that Ocho for that 59-100. Love the show, Nightcap for Life. Ooh, most surprising. Are you talking basketball? I'm thinking basketball, yes. Most surprising, I mean, Nakia Alexander Walker here for the Hawks.
Starting point is 00:55:27 For sure, he on there. Yeah, he's probably, he's number one on my list. I'm surprised. I did not see Jalen Brown averaging 28. No? Who had that on the bingo card? I thought he would put up some good numbers on. I just didn't think they were resulting to winning.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Yes. I ain't going to lie. I didn't really see that because they had lost so much. I was like, I think J.B., he could potentially probably lead the league in scoring, but I just didn't know they would be number two in the East still. I ain't know that. Canipal? I did not see him playing like this in a rookie season.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Me neither. that Keonté George kid from Utah Yeah From Bailey He went to Baylor He's nice He'd be getting money out there Yeah
