LeBron James' favorite villain, Dylan, Dylan Brooks, just made his prediction on where the
king is heading next year.
Check this out, guys.
This is me saying, LeBron, come back for one more year.
You know what I'm saying?
Come back for one more year, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Stop all this waiting.
You are the biggest liberal.
I'm top, I'm top for sure.
So I got to, what do you think he's going?
What do you think he's going to play?
I think he's going to state.
They go to state?
I think going to state.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, all right, should be good.
Hey, man.
I know y'all, y'all hear the rumbling.
Y'all see what's going on.
He might be getting ready to go to Golden State, bro.
I mean, it's an opportunity of a lifetime,
okay, Ocho.
For sure.
What's the opportunity of a lifetime?
Yeah, me getting a chance.
chance to play with the best shooter ever play the damn game yeah they could do that they could do that
in off season no no no but we win a title we go out as champions together after all the battles and
wars we don't been through what you put that little beige you put that little beige joke over here
with brunt oh man please who they go who they're going to be out the west to even get to a title
what you mean who they're going to be they they got the chance they got the potential to
beat any of them teams.
Oh, they got a chance to beat the Spurs, seven games.
They got that potentially.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah.
They got the potential to beat the Thunder seven game series.
Potentially.
A matchups, hey, matches play a big part.
Maybe they don't have to face them.
Yeah, I ain't.
Maybe somebody else knock them off here.
A lot of people, they think, including me,
didn't think the Knicks was going to beat the Spurs, huh?
I'm the one to tell you they was.
What you're talking about?
Oh, man, you close your eyes.
shot in the damn dark.
Yeah, okay, shot in the dark.
I've been right all basketball season.
You think everything is a shot in the dark.
It's more common sense than it is, though, Joe.
You think if you're hard, Joe.
No, no, I'm thinking.
I'm thinking if I'm brunned,
if I'm thinking, I'm thinking about winning another title.
They can say what they won't.
But that may have wanted to win him another championship,
but I could have told you that.
Yeah, yeah.
It ain't going to be there.
It ain't going to be a goal to say.
The easiest route to another title is in the east.
It ain't the West.
Well, maybe he don't want the easy way out.
Maybe he won't a little challenge.
No, he don't.
What do you mean?
Not a year 24, 23, you don't.
Not a 42 years old, not a 42 years old.
He said he's the king.
Hey, hey, hey, if it can be done, hell, it can be done by the king.
I know I can get it done.
All right.
All right.
Hey, Joe.
Well, Ocho also didn't tell you that he picked Minnesota over the Spurs also.
Who did?
You did.
You did.
No, I did.
Yeah, you did?
I don't remember that.
You've been all over the damn place this post season.
No, no, no, no, I've been right.
Y'all have been wrong.
But that's all right.
We let you have your fun.
We let you have your moment.
Victor Oladipo was seen in tears after his impressive workout in front of NBA scouts in Las Vegas.
because Oladipo played at the NBA for the Miami Heat in 2023
after suffering a torn Patel attendant in his left knee.
On the Depot tweeted, I'm a free agent.
I don't have an agent right now, just me and my family.
I know I have a lot left and I genuinely love this game.
I'd rather show you I'm ready than to spend my time
trying to explain why will flood you with analytics
to prove it.
If you're about winning, value mentorship,
and think I could be a fit, you can reach me directly.
I'm open to every opportunity.
right now. I just want to make sure I weigh each one carefully. I can't wait to share my story.
That's dope. That's live. Hey, that's what's up, man. Hey, it's good to see Oladipo back out there,
bro. I've seen him play over the, uh, I think the past, this last season, he played in the
preseason game. I forgot who he was playing with, but they played against a couple of NBA teams.
I can see he's trying to get back out there. Man, that, that love and passion, desire for the game,
Uncle Ocho, it never dies, bro.
Nope.
Especially when you feel like you got an opportunity or you let one get by.
You know what I mean?
Like, I get it, bro.
Keep going, my dude.
I understand.
Yeah.
Somebody gives him an opportunity to come to camp and you can show what he can do
and he can make a roster.
Right.
I think that's another thing too, you know,
by him just wanting an opportunity, bro.
Just bring me to camp.
Hell, if I don't make the team, I don't make the team.
But if I look good and you think I can
provide a service yeah you know give me an opportunity I respect it like I ain't got no
agent I ain't get nobody 4% hello hey call me right right because he probably hey listen
because he probably ain't got nobody working for him meaning like an agent who out there like
trying to pitch for him so he like damn I got to host these workouts I got to host these
workouts and then just let them know what it is invite invite some teams to this workout let them see
me move let them see how I'm working yeah I respect it bro that's dope because I was
old Depot he probably about early 30s okay Ocho I'm gonna say what 31 32 yeah yeah yeah yeah
he probably somewhere in now you know probably ain't ain't really played a whole lot of
basketball to pass what three to four years no hell it's probably been longer than that
you start having those injuries like that Ocho Joe yeah at a young age yeah hard to overcome
It's hard to bounce back, bro.
Because guess what?
You don't weak in one side so much, something pop up on the other side.
Yeah.
Because you're compensating.
But yeah, you know, man, look at that Patel, Tender Joe, you can speak to that.
But that's a hard injury to overcome.
That's why you got to take it.
Damn.
That's why you got to take your time, bro.
You know, with injuries like that, you got to take your time.
And they may take a little longer than anticipated, but it's worth the weight.
Trust me.
All right, it's time to play a fade presented by prize picks.
80 Mara, 20 and a half, points, rebounds, and assists, center.
Will he have?
Hold on, who is this?
Isn't he at the Dallas Mavericks?
Yeah, he would.
Where they play the Mavericks?
Nah, he would, he would O KC.
Yeah, he played, they played the Mavericks.
I ain't going to lie to you
but hey, hold on.
I see him my boy
Trevor Brazil from the Razor bag
he gave that man like thud or something.
You hear me?
In preseason
other day, I ain't.
This points, rebounds,
and assists?
I'm going under.
You going under?
Yeah, hell yeah.
I don't think
Caleb playing.
Caleb who?
Caleb Wilson.
Caleb Wilson.
Yeah, he's up.
down you see right there 21 and a half points I'm saying he played a back he just played a back
to back game oh if he's playing now he gonna get he gonna get he gonna get he gonna get it he here
young stuff yeah yeah yeah he averaging probably about 27 in summer league right now he but
he don't need it they need to just sit him down now you know what it is oh joe what he got hurt
season last year so he never even got a real chance to I mean he showed what he can do but
he never reached the full potential what he you know what he could have done so imagine he
break his wrist so now when he did get back get back active and get a chance to work on his
game he say he shoot like 2,500 shots a day bro he just happy to be back in the gym he just
love playing yeah yeah got you so we go to Caleb Wilson over yeah yeah yeah
Axel Lindenberg, 14 and a half points, over under.
I'm going to say over.
He's getting comfortable.
Yeah, that's your boy from Michigan, huh?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, he's nice.
He can play.
Yeah, how old is he?
Probably about 24, 5.
Yeah, yeah.
He's going to fit in good with them boys down there at Golden State.
Cameron Boozer, more than seven rebounds.
he can play
okay old
grown man ass body
he's already
that joke with 19 and 250
yeah
he's bigger than his dad
yeah
yeah he better than his dad
was a booze
you know
hey hey hey
you know booze my class
bro that's my high school class
oh is it yeah yeah yeah
he better than his dad
now ain't gonna lie the boy can play
yeah oh yeah yeah yeah he can play
he just ain't no he just ain't know
He just ain't no high rebounder, you know what I mean?
No, no, no.
Like he got a great IQ for the game.
He can shoot the ball.
Hell, he can score the ball, good poster player,
but he ain't going to grab no damn 15 rebounds.
Yeah.
I don't know, man.
I'm in limbo by the let Ocho get.
Ojo, what do you think?
He's going to give.
Ojo, what are you over under seven rebounds?
I'm going on.
I'm going under.
We're going under, Cameron, Boozer.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar calling Caitlin Clark's the face of the league is disrespectful to the past WNBA players who paid the way for her.
Clark is very good, possibly even great player.
But calling her one of the faces of the league absent of sort of a counter-cross-platform dominance of a Michael Jordan or LeBron James is an insult to an awful lot of great players.
I'm confused.
He said the face of the league
would be currently the players
that are playing right now, right?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Hey, Uncle Joe, confused me
and maybe y'all correct me if I'm wrong.
I've been watching a little basketball,
getting into it.
Is Caitlin Clark not the face of the league right now
or is it Asian Wilson?
Man, the way these young girls coming,
they're coming.
Page Becker's and Olivia Miles,
they're like, we want to be the face of the league.
They're changing the game, bro.
Olivia Miles is, oh my God.
Well, that's the one from Notre Dame, huh?
Yeah, she started at Notre Dame.
She ended up from TCU.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She's nice with it.
But that's her, yeah.
Hey, she played like a young fella, boy.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, she got wiggle to herself.
Yeah.
She got wiggle.
I look, yes and no, because I get,
he's, because I, he says, okay,
but calling her one of the face of the league,
asking of some sort of on court
and cross-platform dominance
of a Michael Jordan or LeBron James.
But when they call,
you do realize, like,
Michael hadn't won anything
when he was the face of the league.
He took that,
he basically took that title from Bird and,
even when Bird and Magic was winning titles,
they were still talking about Jordan.
Jordan, yeah.
And Bird and Magic was winning the title in the 80s.
They won all but two.
Philly won one,
Detroit won one.
The other eight titles,
Lakers 1, 5, Celtics won 3.
It's not uncommon for people to feel that they put in time,
more time, more effort into a league,
and then someone comes along,
and then they happen to be the face of the league.
Yeah.
I'm sure it happened.
I'm sure when that was bestowed on,
when Jordan, when Jordan took that medal from bird and magic,
and then, I don't know, you say Kobe or AI,
whomever it was, the guys that have been 10-year fans,
like, hold on, how do you get to be?
How do they just bypass jump over people?
Yeah.
And if you think about it, I'm not so sure that we've ever,
maybe, maybe, I mean, Candace Parker,
but the league wasn't covered like it is now.
It wasn't covered like that back then.
Because it wasn't like Candace Parker was a slout.
Candice Parker was a hell of a player.
So was swoops.
so was a coup.
They had great players back then.
But it wasn't covered like it is now.
Every game wasn't on TV like it is now.
It wasn't hype.
They didn't have segments on ESPN like they do now.
There were no podcasts that were talking about the WMBA like they are now.
So it's a different time.
So the method in which someone becomes great or is because,
consider great, the trajectory is gonna happen a lot quicker
because they got this thing called promotion.
They got that engine behind you.
Yeah.
Nobody, and let's be real, and you'll say what you wanna say,
but nobody's been hype like Caitlin Clark and rightfully so.
She was phenomenal in college.
Those last two years was as good as anybody,
she didn't win anything, but you can't say
she wasn't entertaining.
Right.
To get that Iowa team,
to back to back national championships,
how the hell she'd do that?
I'm not, she can play now.
She can go.
How she'd do that?
Normally, and they ended up what they beat.
I think they beat one year.
They beat South Carolina the previous year,
knocked them out.
South Carolina come back next year and win the national championship.
I just, the league is in good hands.
The league has never been stronger.
The WNBA has never been stronger than what it is right now.
With these young players.
But you have realized, guys, like when the WMBA first started,
lot of his best players were old.
Yeah.
Yeah. She could play though.
She got an opportunity. She came right out of USC.
And a lot of these girls coming right out of college, that didn't have happened.
So it had been interesting to see
Coup get a 10, 12 year career of this thing, but that didn't happen.
Cheryl Miller get a 10, 12 year career at this thing.
Man, they had a will.
What?
Who are you talking about?
Oh, you're about a, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
When they had Swoops and Tina Thompson and Coup,
yeah, they had a squad.
They had a squad.
They had a squad.
Them girls, nice.
That's why they won four straight.
Ain't nobody doing that again.
I'm talking about Coop and Swoops.
They couldn't be stopped, bro,
and Tina Thompson just doing the dirty work.
Oh, man, they had a complete team.
Yeah.
And Cheryl Swoops could shoot the ball,
as she can play defense.
Coop can shoot the ball, can get down here.
I think Suisse was the first, was she the first female to have a signature shoe?
Yeah.
Yeah.
With Nike?
Yeah.
She could flat out.
Hey, man.
You got to go back to YouTube and look at Cheryl Swooping college.
And what?
And boy, she put that a mean demonstration in the national championship game against Ohio State and Katie Smith.
Yeah.
Y'all go check that performance out.
She put that a mean demonstration, Joe.
I think she's going to get, I think she's going to get, I think she's going
48. Yeah.
Ooh. Damn.
She was letting that thing go.
No, she was, she was for real, for real.

The Declaration, which is full of these beautifully rendered sentences and paragraphs about enlightenment ideals,
does also have this darker history to it.
Why is it important for the darker part of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution?
Why is it important that Americans know about it?
Well, if we don't understand the full context in which our nation was founded,
we won't understand the full context in which our nation now finds itself.

All right, guys, it's time for our final segment.
It's time for Q.
We have four video voice mails.
Let's take a listen to the first one.
What's going on?
Unk, Ocho, ISO.
We're on the set of the New London, Connecticut, submarine base, Navy podcast.
So your boy got a little podcast experience, hint, hint.
So I'm approximately 1,000 days away from retiring from the Navy, not wearing this uniform anymore.
So my caution to you, as the fourth member of the nightcap crew, when you guys hung up your uniforms and decided you weren't wearing that jersey anymore,
what's one thing that you were going to focus on that you did not have the time to focus on during the season?
And last for not least, ISO, give me a holler, send me a zeal, see me a cash hat, all your little mignon from 2011.
You don't know I owe it to you, but I definitely owe it to you.
Take care.
Hey, man, hung that jersey up.
The one thing I was focused on is kids.
Kids and family.
The one thing that I didn't get the opportunity to spend a lot of time with,
obviously when I was playing.
I was always locked in.
I think the kids maybe got maybe two months out of a year on.
Yeah.
If that.
Yeah.
Six weeks.
Yeah.
Six weeks they came for the summer.
Yep.
Them kids, them kids.
Focus on them kids, man.
It was family.
And they weren't going to stay around the house and play
them video game. Y'all go into summer camp.
Hello. Got to do something, huh?
Yeah, hell, yeah. You ain't put to sit right here?
Yeah. They just watch video games.
And, Daddy, we hungry.
Go to Houston's and go to
this place where they had all kind of
top his own burgers. And we go and, they get
egg on my son getting bacon. He's getting
egg on his burger. He getting there, all the
pineapples. No, bro. You'll eat like
that, you're going to go pay me.
I would bring my cousin up.
He's going to a tap, too.
put them in camp?
The only thing I've ever
want to do was play football.
Yeah.
I don't do a great job of compartmentalizing, guys.
I really don't.
I ain't been to hold nobody
and tell them my old.
I just, no, I go all F and in.
That's why, I guess that's why, you know,
other than God blessing me,
is that that's why I have a level of success
that I have because I go all in.
Ain't no half step.
But I'm all in.
I'm D deep.
Hey, for me, just focusing on really fellas, my health and yoga, bro.
Like I tell y'all, I feel like I have to be in that hot room to some degree considering my family history, meaning my dad, his dad never had.
His, my granddad, I don't ever remember him having legs.
My pop's losing both of his legs.
Hmm.
So after a while.
So they were diabetic, huh?
Yeah, yeah.
But after a while, you know, I start thinking like, damn, you know,
this will be one way I can help heal myself.
And I just, I dove deep into that.
Okay, Ocho, that's all I've been doing, bro, since I've been done, Hoover.
I got going there, put myself under their pressure.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
They say it either bust pipes and make diamonds, homie.
Hey, that's been in a...
Joe, back of the day, Joe, you could...
Hey, that Pilates, man, that Pilates, man, that Pilates, Joe,
you couldn't see me Joe.
Oh, I'm telling you.
Look, I love a lot.
Joe, I could do a split.
You couldn't do no split?
I could do a split, Joe.
I couldn't do, I couldn't do no split,
but I could do far more than a guy my size
could ever even think about damn doing.
I imagine somebody too 40, Joe,
with this muscle mass doing a split.
Yeah.
You didn't have hell on your hand now.
I'll just tell you that now.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah, hey, that mega reform, I'm doing all that thing.
You see him doing the one leg out and the swooping that.
Yeah, all that Joe, the barrel.
I mean, what?
You need to tell you more.
Yeah, I do all that.
Hey, hey, hey, you're talking about if you want to get ripped up,
check, y'all hear me out.
Hey, I ain't going to tell no lie to you because it sound fly to you.
Man, that Pilates will rip you up.
If you, if you eat right and do right and come take.
All right, Ock, you better tell them.
See, I need weight, Joe.
That kind of what Pilates do, it elongate the muscles.
I need the power.
I need to, uh, yeah, you, you, you know what I'm saying?
You know, yeah, I know you're looking for a different type of stream.
You, you're trying to walk around the room.
Oh, Cho.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm just saying, I'm saying, I, I,
Hey, I know, every time he's gonna take it left field, every time.
I know it, I know it's just a matter of time.
That's it.
I can't even get my point across.
You know what I'm saying?
Hey, but listen, at the end of the day,
it don't make you no bad brother, bro.
Like, I get it.
That's what Ocho and I've been trying to tell you.
We're not going to look at you in a different.
It's still going to be Ocho and Iso.
Yeah.
Even though that's your behavior.
We've accepted it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey.
Hey, man.
We've accepted it, Joe.
I mean, come on, man.
Yeah, I get it.
But I get what you saying.
I know what you're trying to live for.
But I'm talking to the chat.
Chat y'all want to be super lean cut up y'all want them y'all want them knots in your stomach i'm
telling you yeah yeah i got i got them joke yeah i know i'll go with a hip thrusting and all
that he see this this joke no no no no okay all right i'm done i'm done i'm done i'm done
see what i'm saying my dog you and you and uh uh uh uh uh you and ocho ain't got no hip
thrusting and y'all work out y'all don't hip thrust no bruh the glute
The glute need to be strong, bro.
That's a big muscle.
I do squats.
I do split.
I do Bulgarian split squads.
I'll do regular squats.
Yeah.
Hey, eh, eh, eh, them Bulgarian split squads.
Ooh, they mean, ain't it?
Yes, they are.
You got to have your damn mind right, boy, when you get into them Bulgarian.
Especially because a lot, most of the tab, well, I don't do them like that anymore,
but I used to do them, you know, without the smilf machine.
So you had to, you know, you had to stay.
Because I like doing free weights.
Yeah.
Because free weights brings all the auxiliary muscles.
As opposed to like when you do machines,
machines were really built for rehab.
Yeah.
Because it takes all,
it takes all the stabilizers out of it.
Yeah.
Because a part of being able to lift weight is being able to control it.
Yeah.
It's hard to lift a weight that you can't control.
So that means all the, you know,
when you benching and so it brings all the front delt and the scapulas
and all those muscles around there, the lat, you got to, you know,
squeeze the lats, you know, you got to squeeze the lats.
you know, the chain muscles in the backs, the erectors.
But yeah, but that was back of the day, you know, you know, back then, I was, you know, I was hell.
I was, I tried to, but I was hell.
I try to stay in some good shape, okay, Ocho, you know what I mean?
I try to keep my body right, keep me tight, you know what I mean?
Hey, whatever you need to do.
What are I talking about?
Ocho, now, we probably figured as much.
What you mean?
What are I talking about?
No, not what we're talking about.
I'm saying I'm talking what you've been what you've been what you've been alluding to for the last five minutes oh man come on
yeah makes makes you on point Joe because I'm coming hey Jordan did you get this side
hey oh oh not tonight did you get this line not tonight look look look my lady look my lady came in that
day she said uh what's this all my all my friends keep sending me talk about some permission
slip I said don't worry about it baby yeah worry about it
Yeah, I'm worried about, hey, is it okay?
Is it okay?
If you don't come to New York, it's been $48 with the crew.
Hey, y'all got to relax, man.
What's on the eye?
Hey, hey, what's on our itinerary?
What's up?
What we got going?
Well, you don't get the permission slip sign.
You ain't got nothing going.
Oh, come on, man.
Come on, man.
Come on, man.
Nope.
I like to stay on people.
I like to stay on people with good graces.
That's what Ocho and I do.
We stay in people good graces and we don't bother nobody.
Now, y'all got to relax.
Y'all got to relax.
Y'all got to shit.
Well, I'll tell you what.
Have somebody forged your signature deal.
How about that?
That's what we used to do.
You get bad grades?
You ain't want your grandma?
You got that.
Hey.
You didn't got that.
Hey, Ocho, you didn't want your grandma?
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
You didn't got that behavior document.
me, you're like, damn, I can't, I don't want my mama or my grandma to sign it.
Yeah, you get somebody to sign it.
Right.
Ooh, boy, that's a brother.
My sister, my sister signed.
I could tell Granny on you.
Hey, hey, she probably hold that over your head, too, with you, man.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
But what she held on my head, what worse than what I could hold over her.
So she signed that bag on a hurry.
Mary Porter.
My sister always signed all the stuff
I mean
There was not a document that it came in the house
That my sister didn't sign my sister had been signing
My grandfather's stuff since she's probably about 10 and 11 years old
All right let's take a listen to the second one
Yo, what's all night cat family?
Unc Ocho and Stu
Yo man
I'm turning 24 years young today
I was just wondering if I could get the birthday
Shout out. My name is Tristan.
I'm currently having a bad birthday because my city's flooding.
It's been raining all damn day.
But, you know, this weekend, you know we're going to get on that row.
And the Che Balapal-Portier, have me a good little weekend.
Hey, my one birthday wish from y'all, please have Joe on for football
for you can swing about our Cowboys, man.
How about him?
Hi, so.
Are we locked in Houston?
Is the flooding in Houston?
Where are they flooding that?
Yeah, I'm not sure.
Oh, San Antonio and Austin.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Happy 24th birthday.
Sorry to hear about the,
obviously, you know, the flooding and anybody that's being impacted
or family member or friends or loved one being impacted by the flood
that's in San Antonio and Austin,
we have our thoughts and prayers going out to you
and all those that's being impacted by that.
But Tristan, happy 24th birthday.
Yes.
Joe is now a full-time member of nightcap.
He'll be here doing football season.
He's going to hate that he did that
because the cowboy's going to be some slough.
Hey, hey, we know that.
Don't worry about it.
I got him, twin.
I'm going to have their ass and line, boy,
football season come.
Okay, you see how he talking?
I can see it now.
My cowboy is doing anything.
I can see it now, too.
Yeah.
I hear loud and clear.
I hear loud and clear.
Your day coming.
Your day coming, quick.
Yeah.
Let's take it listen to the third one.
What's up? Unk, Ocho, and Joe.
My question is for Shannon.
I see you wear graphic teas all the time.
I wear graphic teas a lot too.
My question is, do your graphic tease,
like, are all those franchises that you actually like,
or do you just like them for the look of them in general?
Basically, the look.
I mean, a lot of stuff, like, when I get, like, Fat Albert and stuff,
a lot of them, like, 70 sitcoms,
Harlem Night's movies.
A lot of it just has to do with stuff that I like.
like. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I mean, when it comes to comics you ain't really got
but too, you got DC a Marvel. So, but no, it's just mainly what I like.
Take you back. One of them old TV shows, the sand light and all that. Yeah. You know, I like
being nostalgic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Look at all Joe. Look at it about you. Look at it about
Joe. I ain't even say, man, listen. What's up, man? What's up? We're good. We good.
We good. Joe. Okay. All right. Good. Well, well, you, hey, if, if you, hey, if you, if you, hey, if
If you show up without Joe, you can't go with her, I'm just saying.
Oh, come on, man.
Make sure you brag that.
Remember how you go to field trip?
If you didn't break, if you didn't break your permission, you can go.
Go.
They left your ass in school.
Yeah, yeah.
My grandma, my grandma said she was going to sign it.
Yeah, you didn't forget all about that when you got home.
And nothing you can say, you know, you could cry all you want it.
That thing is signed.
Your ass ain't going.
It ain't happened.
All right, let's take a listen to our last one.
Ocho and still champion of the world.
I saw a few things.
First off, y'all got to stop letting Ocho say he know everything.
He had us all hyped up about the USA soccer team.
He was leaving that bin wagon.
I almost bet money because O-Till, like they old, we're going to whoop them, we're on the need, we don't need that guy.
We got to have blown the hell out.
Okay, two, I told you all, because we should go that these owners, these owners and players are going to start talking about their second apron.
I think the small market teams overdid it with these aprons and now it's affecting everyone in the league.
I knew something we're going to come with that.
If I draft five Kobe Bryant, I'd be able to keep all five of my Kobe Bryant's.
All right.
Y'all have a good one.
Hey, he ain't telling no lie because he had me over in holling Bella gun and Tillman and I.
Oh, Joe, you watched them too, Nash.
Shoot, you were hauling the same thing.
Because we look good the first three games.
All right.
But you had to say.
Hey, you had to sell me.
You had to sold me already.
I was on the wagon with you.
Hold on.
I sold you or they sold you.
You sold me.
You sold me.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Listen, I had never seen him look like that.
Joe, I was right.
I had.
You was right.
You was right.
What you mean you was right?
Until we came into that juggerna out of Belgium.
Yeah, Ocho.
I saw them look like that.
The way they played against Belgium,
I've seen them look like that on several occasions.
Yeah, yeah.
And if we would have got by Belgium,
hell, what Spain?
Well, look at Spain.
Hey.
Man, they're knocking the knuckles out of our head.
Yeah.
They might be their six nothing.
The hell.
No, we might, hey, listen,
is who plays the best on that day.
So who's to say we might have beat Spain?
Well, you didn't beat Belgium to get an opportunity to play Spain, so we'll never know.
Right.
My top tier plays says, hey, guys, love the pod.
I'm in my...
You've heard the chaos.

We've had seasons that have shaken everything.
The question is, what remains when the shaking stops?

Mainstream media is full of cruel depictions of the unhoused, stories that shame and blame
and paint the unhoused as a monolith. We The InHouse is the podcast that's changing that.
I'm Theo Henderson, creator and host, and for years I've created a space where the unhoused
and their advocates can tell their own stories. In the last few years,
on Salon, I've interviewed unhoused parents, immigrants, mutual aid organizers, veterans,
the LGBTQTIA plus community, and the policymakers who make the laws that impact the unhoused existence.
Woody Enhous is a two-time webby and signal award-winning show with many exciting guests on the horizon.

Early 20s worrying, I won't reach my goals battling self-doubt after a mistake that hurt loved ones.
How do I stop overthinking and handle criticism better?
Bro, that's already done.
Worry about something that's already done doesn't change anything.
All you can do is try not to make the same mistake that you made.
that cause your family and or to hurt your loved ones and family.
That's what that's all you can do.
That's a part that's a part of life.
Yeah.
We go through things.
We make mistakes.
Uh, lessons get learned hopefully.
And then we move on and we become better.
We grow from it.
Uh, after mistakes.
And so that means you made more than one.
And most people do is the likelihood of somebody making just one mistake.
No. No.
No.
That didn't happen.
No.
But you're just going to have,
stop overthinking it because you can't change anything.
Worry about the things that you can control.
What can you control?
Your behavior, the things that you do.
But you've already done that.
You can't control what you've already done.
Right.
But we've got to grow.
Change is inevitable.
Growth that's
choose wisely.
You choose, I mean, you got two choices.
You can change.
Change is going to happen regardless.
Next day, I mean, Monday goes to Tuesday, Tuesday goes to Wednesday.
You get the fall, you get, you know, you get winter, you get spring, it's back to summer.
Change happens.
Growth is optional.
Do you want to grow from it?
Do you want to learn from it?
You want to become a better person or the things that have happened in your past so you don't repeat that?
That's on you, bro.
But you can do it.
But beating yourself up about it.
Criticism is going to happen.
That's a part of it.
Everybody's gotten criticized at one point in time.
Sometimes the criticism might have been harsher than others,
but it happens.
Yeah.
But you are right?
Guess what?
You woke up today.
You had an opportunity to be the better person today than you were yesterday.
I don't even worry about tomorrow because I ain't promised.
God did not promise Shannon Sharp tomorrow,
so I ain't worried about it.
Messy took a picture with a baby 20 years ago for charity.
20 years later, he'll be facing that baby,
Lamai Lamar, Yama,
in his last World Cup while Yomal is in his first.
Nolan could not write a better script.
Yeah, and it's so funny, Uncle Joe,
I'm not sure if you've seen the picture.
It's a pitcher of Lamin Amal.
He's in the carriage, very, very little.
Yeah.
He had no idea.
They won some type of contest,
and when they won the contest,
it was to be able to get a pitcher with Messi.
Yeah.
And there's a picture of Laminia Moll.
He had to be, I don't know, maybe some months, maybe.
Damn.
You know?
And it's a full circle thing.
It's almost like, it's almost unbelievable.
Yeah.
The hell, the 18-year-old who took over for Messi at Barcelona
and now getting ready to play Messi.
With the World Cup.
Yeah, it doesn't make no sense.
But life is full circle, man.
It's a full-circle moment.
You ever took a picture like that with someone, Ocho?
And then later on in life.
Yeah. No. Not that young.
No, not that young. I'm talking about he was a, he was a baby baby.
Yeah. I think I took a picture. I took a picture with Christian McCaffrey.
He's with. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, he played with his dad. Yeah. Yeah.
Damn. I think he might have been three two and a half three. Mm. Mm. Yeah.
Yeah. He had to be because how. Asholy see Matt.
Cause that was a, that was a January of 99.
So he had to be born at like 95, 96.
He had to be like three or four.
Couldn't be much older than that.
So that means he probably about 30.
Is he 29 or 30?
So he's born in 96.
So he was.
Damn.
What up big three.
You have the goat and his protege in the final.
I think this final has the potential to be like the 2022 final.
Bominos Argentina.
Mm.
Yeah.
Hey, that France, that France, Argentina in 22-Ocho.
Hey, that was amazing, boy, huh?
That was amazing.
A Fife and Messi was at their absolute best.
If we get something like that.
Yeah.
And you see, and they did it again, huh?
The Argentina, uh, France game.
Yeah.
Man, Argentina was up to zero, two nil.
And, hey, honestly, Joe, I thought the game was over.
Yeah.
Wait, hold on.
Yeah, yeah, Argentine was up to zero and that damn Mbapé.
It might have been maybe almost five, six minutes apart from each other.
He got one and came right back and got another one in the game was tied.
No, that was, that was amazing.
That was amazing.
Hey, hey.
This is going to be a good one.
Yeah.
Because Spain got a-
Sharp.
On first things first, Dax, the soccer analyst, Nick Wright brings on,
said that the Bronzer.
game does count towards the golden boot.
So, hey, there's a chance.
Mbapap, who's going to be at the bronze medal match,
has an opportunity, score a goal or two.
Well, that's right.
I forgot about the bronze medal.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, I, man, I, I, I, I, I, I, I forgot about, I forgot,
they even, you know.
He's going for the, he said, he's going for the golden boo.
Yeah, he could, yeah.
I forgot all about the gold, man.
Man, like I said, I remember when the, um,
the NCAA tournament,
they used to have a consolation game, Joe.
So the two teams that lost in the semifinals,
they would actually play for third place.
Yeah.
But I forgot all about that.
So there's an outside chance.
I'm sure Mboppa would say,
you know what?
Let me play in the World Cup final.
And I let you have a golden boot.
Right.
What's up?
Ocho, Iso.
My birthday was yesterday.
Can I get a birthday shout out?
Hi, I'm Jamal.
Jamil.
I got a question.
What's the best memory you have or gift you got for your birthday?
And can you shout out my wife, Shadeh,
kids, Skyler, and Sahara.
Much love.
Okay, first of you, Jamil,
happy birthday.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday.
Hopefully you did some fun.
I mean, you got a wife, you got a family.
So hopefully you and the wife and the kids went out.
You celebrated.
Got your nice sit-down meal, you know, probably rib-eye, nice and flavorful.
Maybe cook the medium.
Maybe medium plus.
You don't really want it much more than that because you want that flavor to just to come oozing out.
You know what I'm saying?
Probably some mashed potatoes, you know, mashed potatoes,
lobster mac and cheese.
I don't know if you're allergic to have a shellfish or anything like that.
But hopefully you're dated up today and realize that you're surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.
And that's all you could really hope for.
Joe, what's the best gift you got for your birthday?
What's the best memory or gift you got for a birthday?
That I can remember, man.
I got myself, I think I was about,
I had to be about 26, 27.
I bought myself for Rose Roy.
It's a black, uh, Phantom.
God, dang.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I took care of myself now.
Hey, yeah, yeah.
I wasn't cheap with my damn seven.
That was for Barney Porter, you could tell us all the time.
It's a bit cheaper you want to.
Don't be cheap to you want to.
Yeah, big boy style. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's probably, uh, one of the-
You still got it, Joe? Nah, hell, no, this was in, what, 2007?
Damn, Joe. Yeah, about 20 years ago, hell. Hmm. Big boy. What about your
best memory or give you got for your birthday. Hey, shoot, but my, my favorite one was probably
that, uh, that international truck, huh?
Unjoke.
What international truck?
I had a big international like a like damn near like a semi-joke.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that big international, man.
That was probably my favorite, man.
Yeah, that was my favorite.
I got rid of, man.
It's one thing I don't understand, boy, I get a car, man, Uncle Joe.
I'd be over it, man, so fast, man, I didn't even think I had that thing or yeah.
Man, I sold it.
That's why you, eh, A, and that's why at some point,
you'll eventually be like man damn them cars they look nice but because after
while when you get it no matter what you get Ferrari rose lamb yeah you're gonna be
tired of it after way man yeah like I got I had I had two Lambo's Joe and yeah I'm
just no not at the same time I'm just saying obviously you I lease them and then
obviously when a new one come out I just traded and get the new one Joey got to the
point where the noise of the Lambo would irritate me
Got rid of, like certain noises as I got older,
it would be dumb stuff that just turn me off about like cars.
Yeah, turn me off.
What about you?
Would you, the bad thing I got, you know,
you got a few things, you know back of the day, you know.
Yeah.
No, you know what?
I got a Bible.
for your birthday
I got a Bible for my birthday
yeah
yeah
put it right on the back
put it what
my man Joe
oh man
come on man
come on
come on man
go
hey
he backsliding the night
man
yeah
he back
I just made that up
shit
you're talking about
come on man
Yeah, well.
No, you know what?
I'm trying to think if I ever bought something for my birthday.
I don't think I've ever really bought anything for my birthday.
I don't remember.
I don't think I've ever really bought anything for my birthday.
I'm simple, man.
I don't really, you know, take me out of to eat, you know.
Say old poe hustle on eggs for two months.
No, that's it.
That's it.
Joe, that's it, that's it.
That's it.
Oh, poor hustler.
He don't ask for much.
Oh, but then, you know.
And uh, Charday, Scholar,
Sehara, Daddy Love y'all.
Nightingale, FAM, don't want to be a player no more.
How did y'all find the one?
Don't need a woman with a job, because I got bread.
I got hell of options.
Finding a woman is not, is the easy part.
Finding the right woman is the hard part.
And everybody going to have flaws, bro.
You got to figure out which flaws you can live with.
There you go.
Because you ain't going to find no woman.
No perfect.
I don't know what type of picture you got in your damn head,
but it ain't going to have you.
You erase that picture.
Yeah.
Because it's not realistic.
Not realistic.
It's always going to be issues.
Everybody got baggage.
And then people said,
say, oh, I'm watching out for red flags.
Any someone, you meet somebody, Uncle Joe, and them not having red flags is a red flag
in itself.
Because we all have baggage.
We all have things that someone else is going to have to unpack.
Now, some people have more baggage than others.
Yeah.
But, I mean, it's difficult.
It's very difficult.
You know, finding the right one.
And you got to see whoever you're dealing with, especially you want to spend.
a thing
you got to be able to see them in their seasons
you got to be able to see them in every season
when they got money
when they don't have money
when they're happy
when they sad
when they ain't got no money
you got to see them in every season
every season
they tell you all you need to know
it's tough bro
it's really really tough because you know what it is
guys
my therapist told me she'd say Shannon
well she said,
I'm calling Mr. Sharp
said Mr. Sharp, you're never
going to find someone
that has everything that you want.
It has personality,
sense of human,
work this, nurturing,
X, Y, and Z.
Just try to find someone
that has enough of the qualities
that you want
and the ones they don't,
you can overlook them.
So if you look for somebody,
you want this person,
she needs to be 5'9.
She needs to be 5'9.
way 150. She need to have an advanced degree. She needs to be Godfearing. She needs to be wanting
to travel. She needs to be nurturing. She needs to have a job. She needs to be, she got to be,
she got to be a porn star in the bedroom. She's got, you just, you're not going to find all that.
You're not. You're not. You're just not. What can you do? What can you live without? What can
you live without? Yeah. I read a quote about a month ago.
everybody keeps telling you they're looking to be they're looking for the right person
how many times have you heard someone say I'm trying to be the right person hello
oh cho I'm gonna go I'll let you bear they go and keep that that for you that's a good one now
I like that everybody say I'm looking for the right person how many times the people said I'm the
right person or I'm trying to be the right person right well fact now I'm with you when you
right
A, such a such day.
He picked the kids up from carpool.
Yeah, he can do that because he got time to do it.
Well, he does this.
He cooked, okay.
But they probably don't go on vacation.
You're not going to find someone that has every characteristic you like.
You just hope that you find someone that has enough of what you like.
And the ones that they don't have is not a non-starter or disqualifier.
that's all I got for you bro
Ocho is it okay to say message the goat man
It's okay
Yeah man he knows that man
He got a preference but he know who to go there
Come on man
Come on old Joe
Keep it 100 man
Tell the truth of Shane the devil
Come on now
What
About messy being the gold bro
Hey hey hey
Hey um
Is Michael Jordan the goat
Who me?
I'm asking for me
No no
Okay cool
But there's your answer Joe
It ain't because, you know, I like his style of play.
I just think LeBron James based on what he's been able to do.
And because I don't just look at it because if you can't see, people make it a ring.
And people's like, well, they're chasing rings because you guys made it all about the ring.
So what you make it all about something?
What are people going to try to do, Ocho?
Yeah.
When people made it about the almighty dollar, what do people start doing?
Chasing it.
Chasing it.
Yeah.
Hey, listen.
You have y'all goat?
I have mine.
Hey, he, hey, he's goaded.
Yeah.
Is he goaded?
Who?
Missy.
Yeah, he's cool.
He's nice.
Oh, man.
Come on, man.
He's cool.
He's cool.
Yeah, he's nice with it.
Any podcast or shows you guys want to be on,
we'd love to see Ocho on Financial Audit,
Uncle, Mythical Kishol,
mythical, mythical kitchens, last meal,
ISO on hot ones for me.
You know, you like them hot, you like hot food, Joe?
Yeah, I know.
You know what I want to be on?
Man, the wings will tell you up, man.
Oh, no, no.
What did you say on, Joe?
I want to be on Michelle Obama podcast.
What, I didn't, I mean, I'm sure she'd love to have you.
Yeah, I want to be able to show another side of myself.
And that, that would be the perfect show where I have to,
I can't be anything like I am on nightcap.
You get to see a whole other side.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, Joe.
I put on the suit and all, Joe.
I already know it, man.
You'll show up and show up and show out.
What?
Yeah.
And use all kinds of big words.
They'd be like, man, who the fuck?
He's thinking T.I.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right, who the hell?
What is this?
Yeah.
Uh, uh, Mike Chris Tucker and Rush out.
Pick them out.
Pick them out.
You really wear that, uh, forget that.
for getting that massage.
Oh, I want you.
I want you.
Oh, I definitely want you.
When it's Yonis,
he can't close with no go to ban free throws.
When LeBron supposedly he's a closer
with no go to the bad free throws.
I think in game seven,
did you see LeBron close out game seven?
Against San Antonio.
What about game six, 45, 15, and seven?
and then had another 37 point game
close out against Boston.
But he can't close.
What about the 27-11, the triple-double that he had
against Golden State and come back for 3-1?
May y'all stop this?
Did y'all remember him in game six
against what you call him?
Guys, if you don't like LeBron, that's okay.
That's okay.
Y'all keep on talking about,
you bring up LeBron, you bring it LeBron,
but y'all put a scenario
when you ask me about LeBron.
And then if I don't say anything about LeBron,
the reason why Uncle can't break up LeBron,
because he know he had no leg to stand on,
so he didn't even mention a man name.
I think Yonnis is fabulous.
I don't think when it's all saying dumb,
people are going to say Yonis is a better player than LeBron James.
I don't.
Could.
Could.
But that's okay.
I think LeBron is a better free throw.
I think LeBron's turnaround fade away
as a better shot than what Yonis has.
I do.
That's just me.
You can disagree.
That's my opinion.
My opinion is LeBron James has more things he can do
than what Yonis can do.
That's just me.
Oh, he's going to,
Bron can operate more from that mid-post area.
He'll take a midi for game from right there.
Yonnis ain't really doing that, bro.
He ain't shooting really no game-winning shots from him.
What's up nightcap crew?
Ocho, have you had a chance to connect with Chris Henry Jr.
And give him some wide receiver tips?
No.
I haven't man he's that Ohio State man he's that what would most would consider why
I receive you and he don't need no tips from me now he go and he gonna be that boy he
gonna I mean obviously we know Jeremy Smith gonna be that boy but yeah I'm saying he gonna do he
he gonna do his one two over there Ohio State he definitely gonna do his one two he's gonna do his
two three two oh okay yeah he's going to two three three four my bad oh okay he's
three four with it too yeah he's nice uh Joe all right
He's nice.
You see, what you call him?
He didn't take no, what you call it this year.
Who?
Jeremiah, he passed it out to his team,
teammates so they can have some more players come in.
NIR.
They got Chris Henry, who's number one wide receiver,
and then they got the number one wide receiver in 27 coming,
oh, Joe.
Hold on, hold on, you saying Jeremiah paying them dudes
with his NIL money?
He took a lot of his NIL deal.
Damn, that's what's up, bro.
Hey, that boy's in the short.
up and show out though I know where you're trying to go these these best cops I can
thank for cousin if they probably she and maybe Aldridge who y'all got in a
stark bench cut who because of Rashid Wallace and Marcus Aldridge damn hmm I'm
going I'm going she I'm starting she she really the first stretch yeah
I'm starting.
She's nice.
You know, we need that emotional leader,
a guy who you can go to.
You can play through him off the block.
He was nice.
And then I'm going to have to bench big cuss.
And I'm going to have to let L.A. go.
Damn.
Sorry, L.A.
You gone.
Oh, Joe, ISO.
What are your thoughts on the World Cup finals
having a halftime show on Sunday?
Yeah, they got just, I think Justin Peeber,
Madonna.
Who else is performing, Ocho?
Oh, I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
I have no idea.
But obviously, real come.
Are you going to the game?
Yeah.
Ask me if I want to go.
It's in Miami?
No, right here.
New York.
In Austin, Jersey.
We're all here.
Oh, Midline.
Yeah, yeah.
That thing ain't going to be stupid.
I mean, listen, halftime Super Bowl,
obviously you understand.
It's a little bit longer than normal because of,
because of the halftime shows.
And I'm sure the players understand as well.
It's going to be a little bit longer in the locker room a little bit longer.
So we need to take more time to come out.
When you do come out, the warm up makes you warm up.
Hold on.
Oh, Joe.
A little better, yes, sir.
You don't want to, you ain't trying to go to the World Cup final?
What you bummed out about, bro?
I mean, everybody else was ruling for us out of it, Joe.
No, there ain't nobody everybody.
Cristiano got put out early.
That was all the first you used to.
You're going to.
USA out, too.
Then what I'm next round.
Yeah, I mean, it hurts.
It hurts.
It is what it is, man.
But, you know, Joe, I'm squeezing about eight, eight, nine games, man, so on.
You know, I'm kind of, I'm good.
You should have got your full.
I'm content.
You're fed.
Excuse me.
I'm content.
I'm content.
Me and my little brother, Donovan, watch all the time.
Can you give him a shout out for his 26th birthday and make sure, make sure you shake the covers.
We from Cincinnati, and unfortunately, he is a Bengals fan.
please turn up.
All right.
Donovan, happy 26th birthday, man.
Bro, which you wanted, hey, bro, just want to,
big bro, you just want to say, happy birthday.
Hopefully you're, you shaking the covers.
Hopefully your old lady liked the Bengals too,
because, uh, I don't know if that's gonna get you anything,
you know, liking the Bengals, you probably like,
she probably like winners.
Damn.
Hey.
But we're gonna have, who will have,
whoever team will have the best record.
So we're going to have a little something on that.
Who are you going with, though?
That's what I need to know.
I need to know.
Who?
What team you, that aisle over there?
Yeah, you can't, you got to pick one or the other.
You ain't going to be talking about, oh, I play for the Bronco.
Man, I play for the Ravens.
You need to pick one team before the season starts.
Uh-oh, he's going to get it.
He's going to get his Bronco, him.
Nah, man, you got to pick one team.
No, no, no, we're not doing that, buddy.
Who are you running?
Who are you running away?
Huh?
Okay.
Which one of your kids you love the most?
What?
You got to pick one.
That ain't got nothing to do with the football.
You got to pick one.
Joe, you two.
You got to pick one.
Hey, what football team are you picking?
You can't have the Ravens and the Broncos.
All these hypotheticals ain't got nothing to do with this.
When football season to come, pick your team.
I just want to know which one of your child's mothers you like the best.
Damn.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yes. Is it shard?
Is it a, is it a, uh, uh, uh, uh, fridge fry?
Hey, I like, I like everybody the same.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
No, we're not doing that.
I like, we're not doing that.
Hey, they made, they made life.
Is it Chad Jr.?
Hey, they made life extremely easy and I made life very easy.
Well, you know what?
Both of them put, both of these put the kids through college, got them cars.
Got A.
Hey, you got a chill, man.
I can't, I can't pick.
I'm sorry y'all ain't got two teams.
Oh Joe, you got two.
Take the Patriots.
I have one.
You got one.
Hey, Joe, don't let A.
I don't want to ever hear nothing to finish,
get started to win it.
Now see when they had Katie, he was over there rooting for the sons
when they had Katie.
Here you go, here you go.
You didn't root for the son with the head, Katie?
I made a rooted for him, but it's a difference.
It's a difference.
I can root for him, you know what I mean?
And it still be a hawk.
It's okay.
Yeah.
But I can't, I ain't flickled to where every week,
I'm like, okay, boom, my Bronco laws, but by.
I want a championship.
Joe, just a matter, so let me ask you question.
If you don't want a championship,
that year you was in Phoenix.
Yeah.
And y'all won the championship, y'all won six two games.
How do you go behave?
Yeah, I'm going to be claim.
I'm going to be claiming.
I'm going to be claiming.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I'm going to be claiming.
You see?
You see.
Oh, I'm going to be right.
team you got you got the Bengals the that's it that's it you are always and the and the uh uh uh
the Patriots Joe now he up that he'd be claiming them guppies because I'm from Miami
so you ain't play for the guppies I'm from Miami that will always be my home team and I
play for Cincinnati and the Patriots

My bad, I'm gonna save my little two cents,
what feels do on the first.
Damn.
We understand.
We understand, I mean, that, hey.
And you know, I'm getting to that point too,
where I just, you know, I was like, you know,
I, instead of,
asking about going somewhere, Ocho, I just don't even mention it.
Yeah.
I just don't even mention, keep it down.
You know, I understand, Joe.
Oh.
Yeah, but you mean, you're right, huh?
Yeah, just to keep, just to keep confusion, die.
Hey, hey, y'all, y'all got a chill, for real.
Y'all got a really chill.
I wouldn't, I wouldn't even, I wouldn't even, I wouldn't even, uh, I wouldn't even

I wouldn't say nothing about it.
If y'all don't want to do it, it's okay, man.
I ain't judging y'all, you know, I'm just asking you.
You know, I'm just trying to see.
