Our hometown is not a test tube.
90 miles northeast of Nashville, a battle for the future of America plays out in one small town.
Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land.
We need cities on a shining hill.
This is our town, a podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment.
and fights back.
Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you?

Travis Hunter is attempted to add a third position to his resume kicker.
Let's take a look at Travis, attempting field goals during special teams' forces of the Jack's joint practice with the Panthers.
All right, though.
Did he kick that?
He left footed, huh?
Yeah.
Oh, they, oh, they're playing around.
I'll tell you one thing.
He had never had to kick with that gangster kicker they got over there
and Cam Little, boy.
He got a foot on a note, Joe.
But, eh, then Cam Little hit from 67 to 68 last year?
He, eh, he, eh.
16 after he got the record.
Yeah, hey, Joe.
He won the one of the first.
Hey, he's nice.
Cam Little and the kicker from, God, dog,
with the Dallas.
I can't remember his last name.
He used to place.
Oh, I forgot the damn name.
Aubrey.
Was it?
Aubrey.
Brendan, Brendan.
That boy got a foot.
Yeah, he was nice.
He was nice.
Yeah, but, I mean, to be kicking outside of me,
kicking in that, kicking in that dome is one thing.
Kicking out, he, hey, he kicked that outside.
Yeah.
It's at below sea level.
Could I imagine if he catch one in Denver, he can go,
he's going to go 70 plus yards in Denver.
Mm.
boy got a foot boy
Celtics owner Bill Chisholm admits he needed to be convinced
to trade Jalen Brown
I needed to be convinced
I definitely have a level of trust in Brad Stevenson
Brad Stevens and his team
but as a fan that was tough
Joe
do you believe he had to be convinced
I think so
I think with the type of money
that they was going to have to spit out to him
you know it probably didn't take a lot
damn convincing, but I think he did
had to be convinced. Yeah. Yeah, I think he did.
And I think they all was on the same page.
And then when you look at analytics, bro,
they've changed the game
to where, you know, you got guys
who buying these teams who really don't
know a whole hell of a lot about the sports.
Heads funds and all that stuff. You know what I mean?
So you got
all kind of people in their ear trying to help them make
decisions. And hell, they don't know.
They don't know.
Yeah, I think the thing is
that it's like, look, if we don't
trade him, he's going to want an extension.
And the extension is going to be two years,
$142 to $145 million.
And then you're going to have Jason
Tatum coming up a year after that, and he's
going to want an extension. And his extension
is going to be somewhere between $150
million.
So the question is,
do you want going
that second apron?
Because that's what everybody's afraid of.
Yeah.
The second apron.
With all your money
tied up in two players,
Hell, don't know team on day.
Yeah.
Okay, Joe.
So I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I just don't think it took as much convincing as he, because, look, he has to say this.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He has to say this.
I don't think it took as much convincing and he's like, or as he's like for us to believe that it took.
I just don't, I just don't believe that.
And you know, and I'm not, I'm not saying that he doesn't have trust and he should have trust.
Those guys are running the organ, running his team and, and trying to bring in the best players.
But I don't believe for me personally, I don't believe it took him as much convincing as he'd like for us to believe.
You know they're going to say the right things publicly to say face on.
They always say the right things.
And with this big trade, you know, it kind of, hell, catapulted Philly into another stratosphere.
Because if you don't trade Jaylon, if you don't trade Jalen Brown to Philly, Brown don't go to Philly.
You don't believe so?
No, not if J.B. If J.A.A.A.
there I don't think he goes to Philly.
I don't think he goes to Philly.
I think, you know, I think he really wanted to go to New York,
but the fact that they wanted, hell, he couldn't go there.
Right.
So this is probably the next, one of the next biggest market,
considering the fact that he's coming from L.A.,
like Philly is a huge market, bro.
They're a sports town fanatic,
and he know they hadn't won in some odd years.
He's going to bring him to the promised land.
I hope so.
O'B.
You know, takes that.
I mean, I hopefully this ain't no situation where who had this team on?
The Lakers when they had Carmelo and Braun and what was that?
Was that Westbrook?
Yeah.
Had all those guys.
I hope it had a situation like that or the old Eagles.
Remember when the Eagles had Vince Young and Michael Vic and all those guys and they didn't do nothing?
Yep, yeah.
So I just hope it's not another situation like that.
Go ahead, Joe.
Now, I don't think it's going to be that situation.
Brunner, the elder statesman, the rest of those guys are fairly young.
Okay, Ocho, even J.B., J.B., probably ain't but 30.
He probably just turned 30.
You know, I think all those guys still got a lot, a lot of basketball left in them
and a lot of great basketball left in them.
The key is what the hell M.B. going to give us.
How good is M.B.?
What is health going to be?
How many games will he be able to play during the regular season?
and will he be back
I don't want to say MVP for him
but will he
will his productivity
be elite
because that's what they're going to need to get over the hump
bro you're going to need him be to be a dog
down now
I'm trying to look up something right quick
go ahead go ahead guys
you're looking
what you're looking for man
hey Joe
what's up
honestly take the truth
I heard what you said when I went to use a restroom
if Jaden Brown didn't
didn't come to Philly.
LeBron would have went to the Knicks?
No, no.
I said,
I don't think Brown would have went to Philly
if J.B., if Jalen Brown wasn't there.
He couldn't go to the Knicks Ocho because they won it.
But I think if they didn't win it,
I think that's where he would have went.
I think he wanted that huge market.
And that's why they sitting here talking about,
oh, man, he in Philly, he's going to live in New York.
I mean, unless he got some hell of an investment
or something going on in New York,
I just, you don't see it?
I mean, why would you?
I mean, you can go visit New York,
but damn, you got to live there and commute to Philly it.
Like, come on, bro.
I don't know.
No, I ain't with it, man.
I ain't what I want to see Philly.
I want to see them in the top of the Eastern Conference.
I want to see them playing great ball.
Yeah, they on TV probably half their games.
So they're going to be must see TV, must watch TV.
And I think they're going to be a lot better than what people anticipate.
Wait, people anticipating them not being good?
Well, I mean, I don't think people really got them.
They think, yeah, because there's so many of them.
You got, you got Joe and the kid, you got Braun, you got Maxie, you got J.B.,
you got Edgkin pulling up the tail end.
Right.
But so I think the thing is, like, look, there's only one ball.
Yeah, you got four really outstanding ball players.
Really, I mean, you know, two former MVP's, a Western Conference MVP, a finals MVP,
a guy that's been an all-N-B-A, have been an all-star player,
and Tyree, I mean, at least an All-Star player in Tyrese, you only got one basketball.
How do you keep everybody happy?
So I think that's the thing.
Go ahead, Joe.
Yeah, and how quickly can they mesh together as a team and as a unit to become a complete,
you know, a team?
So I think that's going to have to play itself out in the first probably month of the season
where they work the kinks out and kind of get everybody on the same.
same page. So it may take a little while for them to get going, but I think once they get
that thing going on, Joe, well, they're going to be here to slow them board down.
I agree.
Tyrese Max is the potential last second shot situation.
Pick an order between LeBron, James, Jalen, Brown, and Joel and B.
I think it depends on what situation is.
I think the biggest thing is we can't have anybody.
Nobody on this team can have an ego.
We have two guys that have won regular season of MVP, two guys that have won finals MVP,
multiple gold medal winners, and this team, multiple 25 plus points per game,
All-Star, All-NBA.
So we're pretty accomplished.
So the ego has to drop, and you have to do it collectively.
Joe, who's going to be the closer?
Who's going to take that last shot?
Who going to take that last?
I think it's going to be brunned.
Because I think it's going to be brun or maxi.
Because when you come down the stretch in a tight game,
Arcan Ocho, and one of those guys going to have a ball in their hand running,
picking rolls.
And if you're running the pick and row with MB,
you ain't going like they're going to stay with them B so you'll probably come off have
wide open shot or really be able to get to your spot to where you can make a bucket so
I got it being Brun and Maxie I got to be in Brun and Maxie.
Yeah it's going to be hard because I don't think especially if it's a two point
you know you need a buck you need a two point shot they're not for to let him be
get the ball down to that low they're going to fight him they're going to fight him until he
get to the block here by the time he gets to the block uncle his a guy going to be
dead dog tired.
I agree yeah I agree.
I don't see a scenario where they let him just get an easy post up
and just turn around because you get, let him get the ball down that low.
You can't stop him.
I don't care who it is.
You're going to either, he either going to make a shot or you're going to file it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I'm not, I'm not.
I'm not.
But I like the way Maxis said.
It said, don't matter who it is.
We can't have no ego.
We got to do this thing collectively.
Everybody, and I think the thing is that everybody agreed to set their ego aside.
Now, that sounds good in the offseason, Joe.
Yeah.
I was really good in the house season.
But what happened when we get into the game?
Because the hardest thing is for a young guy that's really starting to assert himself
and start to ascend.
And all of a sudden,
not an average 22,
average 24, 25, 26.
And now I got to go back down to 20.
Yeah.
I mean, that 20 on can be very efficient.
And it can look a lot different on this team because you have so many polarizing guys.
And we're talking about championship aspirations.
Man, these opportunities don't come often in the NBA
to where you had this much damn talent on one team.
Man, them boys better, hey, they better make the most of this, bro.
I promise you.
This don't happen often.
Expectations are sky high because of the team that they have.
But I see them having success.
I see them having success.
Everywhere LeBron goes, you know, teams do win.
They do.
There are a few times LeBron is win places, and they fall in short.
But if I'm not mistaken enough,
everywhere he's been, they've won a chip.
Am I correct?
They start out slow, though, Ocho.
If you go back and look at LeBron when he went to Miami,
they started out like 9 and 8.
You go back and look at him when he went to L.A.,
they started out slow.
He went back to Cleveland, they started out slow.
So is this a situation?
Hopefully they don't start out slow,
putting themselves behind the eight ball.
We do realize when he first went to,
he went to L.A.
They didn't make the playoffs.
He ended up getting hurt, tweaked his groin.
That was really the first time.
LeBron had really suffered an injury
that put him out significant amount of time.
So he was out.
He went to Miami.
We know how that ended.
They ended up getting to the finals,
but they lost in the finals to Dallas.
He went back to Cleveland,
and we know they started up slow,
and they ended up getting all the way to the finals.
Obviously, Kyrie and Keev and Keevulub ended up getting hurt,
and they end up losing.
So it's going to be very interesting to see how this thing plays out,
considering LeBron's history with a new team,
is that they generally start slow.
They generally start slow.
And LeBron likes to try to figure things out,
okay, what's the best way for me to, like, impact the game, impact this team?
What do I need to do?
Who do I need to give the ball in what situation?
Because you got, at the end of the day, guys still got to be happy, Joe.
I understand what everybody.
I really understand what everybody's saying, but guys really need to be happy.
Go ahead, Joe.
Yeah, not only do they got to be happy, but I think Nurse has to, it's Nurse over there, right?
Nick Nurse?
Yes, yes.
I think he has to figure out the rotations, Uncle Ocho, like, who's going to come
out what two players going to come out first or at the six minute mark, seven minute mark
to get rest to be able to start the second quarter. I think trying to fine tune and tweak
that, that's going to take a little time as well because that's going to be just as important
as the guy starting. Because if you take LeBron out first at the six or seven minute mark and
then you start him back in that second quarter to where you're really featuring him, I think
that'll make a huge difference. You know what I mean? You got to look at guys like BJ Edgecombe,
who honestly I ain't going to say he's going to get lost in the sauce but with him averaging what
what he average 16 14 last year 18 I just to beat us to to kind of stay right there or improve
that uncle at Ocho with all his talent on the team it's going it's probably going to be the toughest
on him man it's probably going to be the toughest on him but I expect for them guys to make this
thing work I sure hope so Ryan and Winshorst tried to give a reality check about the 76s
In the last live years, do you know many times LeBron teams has gone over 50.5 wins twice?
So LeBron hasn't been on a powerhouse regular season team for a while now.
I think that could be an excellent team, be formidable to win 48 games.
But I think winning 48 games in the Eastern Conference is going to be a good season.
Also, when LeBron changes team, they tend to get off to the slower start.
That's what I said.
They started 9 and 8, and then went on to Cleveland.
They started out 19 and 20.
The Lakers, they missed a playoff learning.
So learning to play with LeBron.
takes a while well he hold a hold on he had this type of damn talent now since
yeah I don't know if you ever had this amount he had great talent when he was
pretty good they were pretty good in Miami now he did have D-weighted Chris
Bosch yeah yeah yeah no they had they had a great they had a great team in Miami
but this it's a little different now this team is a lot right right yeah a lot
different you got you got two-way guys on this team you got scores you got post like
as great as Chris Bosch was, think about what Embed has been.
You know, MVP conversations, the type of numbers he's put up.
Bro, man, he, I just think he's the key component to Philly, you know,
being successful this upcoming season.
Well, well, absolutely, as long as he stays healthy.
But I think the thing is now that I think with LeB.,
Maxie and J.B., even if he gets an edgecom, even if he goes out,
that's enough firepower to still be able to compete.
Yeah, yeah, that's enough firepower.
You got guys, all those guys, bro, you ain't got not one guy who you like there.
We can go at him.
You know what I mean?
Maxie going, he can move his feet.
He can play.
We know Edge come here, a young defender, up and coming two-way guy.
We know J.B.
We've seen the clamps he put down on Luca in the finals before.
So we know he's two-way guys.
And I don't think brun, no guy who you can just go at either.
I think they got a bunch.
Nah, they got a bunch of guys, man, who can hold their own.
And in the NBA, that's what you want.
We don't want no weak link in this chain, partner.
We need everybody to be on one accord,
and I think that's what's going to happen.
How many games you think they win this year?
In the regular season.
How many games they win?
I'm going to give them, I'm going to give them 52.
I was going to say 52.
I'd go a little better.
82 games.
I'm going to give them 50.
I'll say they win 54 games.
Okay.
Ocho, you want to jump in there?
Yeah, 54 games.
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
I say they went 58.
Wow.
Yeah, I say they make it.
Well, they're going to be,
58 wins will be the number one seed.
I mean, honestly, honestly, I think they might be the number one seed.
I like what you said about, obviously, I think it was you, Joe,
saying LeBron has been on a very good team when you play with the Miami Heat.
Obviously, Duane Wade is Dwayne Wade with Chris Bosch.
But you got Maxie and you got Jalen Brown.
got Jalen Brown you know so it's a little different it's a little different and I
I'd have been me you know what he could do when he's healthy I say I say 58 games I just I
think they they gonna have some making up to do Uncle Ocho because New York the Knicks have
chemistry and continuity that you can't teach bro you know they naturally have that because
they play with they play with each other for so long and obviously
they're the measuring stick.
You know, Philly's going to have to,
they're going to have to go through the Knicks, bro.
And I think they got talent enough to be able to beat them,
but at the same time,
I don't want to discredit the chemistry
that the Knicks have and what they displayed
throughout this past postseason.
I think they're going to be just as hungry
to get back to the finals.
So Philly going to have their work to do.
We're going to find out that for sure.
Now it's time for our final segment,
and it's time for Q.
And A.

Who actually you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird.
Adam Scott.
This entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show.
I would never expect.
I have.
I would never set expectations for something like that to happen.
If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it.
I'm always going to accept.
You know, Danny McBride.

Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity.
Exuding. I could smell it walking down the hallway, to be honest with you.
I was like, I was like, is that weed?
Nope, it's fragile masculinity.
Ben Stiller, no.
Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is.
You know what I mean?
They're like, oh, what's a state.
Everyone's so dumb.
And fake.
Right, fake and also not interested.
Or just like, oh, I've got my life.
I don't care about your life.

They don't make no sense to me.
It don't make you no man brother that you won, Joe.
See, you think it makes you a bad brother.
It don't.
I don't look at you.
I don't look at you any different, Joe.
But how does that make me one, though?
Because he said you do yoga trying to be flexible for what, and it be the quiet ones, which be you.
No.

Hold on, who is HBK though?
Uh, I'm trying to, who's HBK?
Thone cold, serious, Thstone cold Steve off?
Mm-hmm.
I don't know, uh.
It's not the hit man.
Not Sean Michaels.
I don't know who HBK is.
Chad, who is HBK?
I don't know, but I got a drop him.
Sean Michaels.
Oh, I'm starting Steve.
Honestly, as far as like, I'm starting, I'm starting Stone Cold.
I'm a bitch
Sean Michaels
I'm gonna have to cut the rock

Man. I feel bad for him, man, honestly.
Name y'all top three favorite players to watch at y'all's respective positions. Not who y'all
think was the best, but your personal favorites to watch. To watch me?
You're talking about right now? Yeah. Okay. Go ahead. I don't you.
Got it.
They come.
Well, my favorite to watch, I would probably have to say Kelsey, Gates, Big Keller.
She, I thought he said right now.
He's talking about all time.
I don't know.
Well, if it's, if it's right now, it's, oh, right now, it's, uh, Tray McBride, Kelsey.
Bowers.
And Brock Bowers, yes.
Absolutely.
Uh, my, my, my top three receivers to watch.
Obviously, chase is number one.
Uh, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go with Jetta's second.
Even when the, even with the, inconsistent quarterback play last year,
he was still, you know, exciting. Uh, my third, I gotta go JSN.
JSN or Devante, like slash that, uh, half and half because, yeah,
JSN and Devon's.
I mean, I should have picked Pooka, but I like Tate.
Hmm.
I'm going, uh, going Jason Johnson, Kay Cunningham, and Shea.
Yeah, I like them, boy, getting to their chicken, boy.
Yeah.
Big Three was good.
If y'all haven't seen it yet, check out Odyssey and IMAX.
Best movie I've seen all year.
I want to see it again.
Start, Bench Cut.
Gladiator, Troy.
300 oh man that's easy gladiator i'm starting okay thank you go ahead go ahead go ahead don't you i'll let you go
i'll let you know these hey joe these my kind of movies right here boy my audacity is good whoever that
whoever just said that you are 100% correct that's another movie that i could sit through and watch for a
second time even though it was long but start i'm starting gladiator i'm starting gladiator what was i know
it was Troy and what was the other one 300 300 oh Troy is second and 300 is
last, no disrespect.
Yeah, no, Troy is serious.
I enjoy Troy.
I think I got that same order,
I got Gladiator Troy, then 300.
Yeah, I agree.
Gladiators are no doubt a star.
Oh.
Two up to, uh, two up to fail, 78.
Yo, what do you, Uncle Ocho, Mr. Freak,
freak himself.
I saw Joe.
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
This thing out of, this ain't right.
It's right in control.
It's right where it's supposed to be.
Love the show.
Quick shout out to my boo page of our beautiful children.
Brailing, Corrine, and Kobe.
Would you rather start on defense?
Aaron Donald, Ray, or Tyne?
Well, me, I'm going to start Aaron Donald.
Huh?
He just named three different positions.
Yeah, I think he said, who would you start a defense with?
Oh.
Always, always.
I mean, personally, I'm always going to take the guy that can get to the quarterback.
but always, always.
Al Davis said it best.
The quarterback must go down,
and he must go down hard.
And it needs to happen
when the first three to four plays of the game.
So who you start the,
who you start the defense with, Joe?
I'm starting mine with,
I'm going to raid, bro.
Okay.
I'm starting, man.
Hey, hey, that linebacker,
hey, I'm starting raid, bro.
Cause he gonna have a hey, he gonna turn everybody up.
He gonna have him playing at a whole other damn level.
Yeah, yeah, I'm starting, Ray.
Who you got, Ocho.
Woo, that's tough, boy.
I ain't gonna lie to you, but I'm gonna go with Ray,
the quarterback of my defense.
Yeah.
As bad as the Browns have been,
they made the playoffs more recent than the Bengals.
So Ocho, you should tread lightly.
When did they made the playoffs win?
because we made the playoffs
our Super Bowl run was
2021 and we missed
the last four years.
Have the Browns made the playoffs
in the last four years?
Hold on my
tripping.
I don't think they have, Ocho.
Yeah, so I'm curious what
they're talking about.
No, they didn't, they did?
Damn, Ocho.
Oh, yeah, oh, okay, okay.
Okay, well, that don't mean none.
That don't mean none.
I don't mean none.
Coco, thick thighs.
Two practice with the rookies,
wide receivers for 11 days straight.
Monk already knows two is quarterback one.
What NFL team's markets quarterback two?
Which coach stops prescribing for quarterback,
prescribing for quarterback two?
Watson is a decoder for the media.
Attention.
So he's like, hey, I don't know.
You know, me personally, I'm kind of tired of speculating.
I'm just waiting for this final preseason game
because he's going to have to name a starter.
Yep.
You said before the final preseason game.
No, I think it's going to happen after the final preseason game.
Me personally, that's what I think is going to happen, Joe.
All right.
Because allegedly, supposedly,
should you are supposed to start this game.
at home against buffalo.
He is, ain't it?
Ain't he gonna start?
He was supposed to start that day
that Deshaun got all the reps with the ones, too.
Bat Mac Gaming, 8694.
If my past drafted him in 2019,
when he grew up a pass fan,
man, to kill Harry instead.
Yeah, that didn't work out for him.
Yeah, oh, man, I wonder what happened to kill Harry, man.
He was good at ASU, man.
He was, I mean, he had,
he had, like, a one, a good game for the Patriots,
but, you know, you go to the Patriots,
they got expectations.
I don't give it down if you're the first rounder,
you're a second round, third round, it don't matter.
If you make that squad,
you got the same level of expectations placed on you.
And it's unrelenting.
You know, you were there.
Yeah.
Damn.
Which guys from the Super Bowl reunion
would be each Avenger characters?
Man, I'm the Hulk.
John wasn't there, so John would be Superman.
Let me a second.
I'm trying to think.
TD would be Anthony Mackie's character.
What's Anthony Mackey?
Now, Hawke, whatever Anthony Mackey's character is, Falcon, that'll be, that'll be, that'll be, that'll be TD.
Romo is going to be Jeremy Renner's character with the bow and arrow.
now Romo gonna be Iron Man
because Romo don't miss
Romo ain't miss no games
Play 16 what 16 years
and never missed the game
You've heard the chaos
Now you can see it

On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle.
I chose option B.
I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say,
yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity
for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like,
you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most
receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you
push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether
Whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip,

I'm Hoda Kotvey, host of the podcast, Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby.

You're not hired just to fill time and space.
You're hired to fill the space with you.
You have something in your guts.
You go with it.
And Sean Johnson recalled the moment she realized her now husband, Andrew, was the one.
He was just so unapologetically himself and knew nothing of Hollywood.
He hadn't been on a plane before without his family.
It was so pure.

Hey, this is Hayes Davenport.
And Sean Clements.
We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network.
Our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners.
Each week, we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show.
We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, not that great.
Actually, can you help me shape this?
How about we flip it on his head, right?
How about we flip this script?
What is the surprise woman?
Actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird.
Adam Scott.
This entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to the,
visit the show.
I would never
let go of that.
I have.
I would never set expectations
for something like that to happen.
If the universe allows
for something like that to happen,
I'm open to it.
I'm always going to accept.
You know, Danny McBride,
fine.
Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity.
Exuding.
I could smell it walking down the hallway,
to be honest with you.
I was like, is that weed?
Nope, it's fragile masculinity.
Ben Stiller, no.
Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is.
You know what I mean?
They're like, oh, what's just a state.
Everyone's so dumb.
And fake.
Right.
Fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life.
I don't care about your life.
And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us.
Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy.
Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Nick Totoro.
You probably know me from NYPD Blue, The Longest Yard, or Spike Leaves Black Klansman.

And on my new podcast, delivering happiness with Nick Totoro, I deliver pizza from Prince Street pizza to a new guest.
Are you delivering pizza now?
Then we sit down for a real conversation.
I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth Rollins.
What are you doing my belt?
To Alex Rodriguez.
Just to let you people know, we're talking to one of the goats here.
To Bill Burr.
I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am.
And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Tuturo.

each team this before the season start.
Now, we got, we definitely got, what you call them coming.
We got our fantasy.
Going to beat Joe and Ocho and beat him down.
Man, please.
Not happen.
I love how Georgia,
Georgia thought he comes up here and now.
He's just a football.
Hey, he's feeling good.
Now, he's male Kiper.
He's feeling real good.
You see it?
Hey, hey, what did you say, who I am?
Mel Kuiper.
Now, he, Mel Kuiper.
Yeah, he just,
ah,
man.
Yeah.
Bass Lab once in,
Iso,

on the induction ceremony
in Little Rock.
Yeah,
I'm going to have to get you all that
another night.
When I got more info,
right now,
I got a couple interviews lined up
on an Ocho outside of that.
I mean,
I don't really,
I can't even tell you.

Caleb Dennis uh Cowboys was versus the same was Royal Rumble that number 8 and I hit
up the brother the Brock Lesner yeah he's suflicts 34 for the Cowboys I ain't gonna lie he got it
the boy Helma came off and anything that's a bad and that's a bad sign right there
he didn't really try to do him bad because he really could have dumped him on his head yeah he could
yeah he could yeah he really could have on his shoulder he put him on the show he
Yeah, you saw that?
Yeah, he wanted to do him dirty, dirty.
Yeah.
Brandon Martinez, 56, 57, bingles are trash.
When they fight, they fight against each other.
Damn.
Damn.
Yeah, the trash?
That's saying a lot.
Oh, Joe.
I don't watch football.
That's all.
They don't watch no football.
Aaron O.
513 says signing an NBA or an NFL contract.
Excuse me.
Signing an NBA or an NFL team
and playing games,
then running back to college is lame.
I agree.
Wait, what's the point of them running back to college?
Because they didn't think they're going to make it in the NFL or the NBA,
so they go back there and get some NIL money.
Hey, hey, hey, I left my sophomore year,
so I got two years of eligibility here.
The way, they're giving out of NIL money.
Hell, I might need to go back to the University of Arkansas
if I can get my two years left.
What did you think?
Oh, Joe, what you think?
Nah, Joe.
Hell, they got guys played in the NBA who then went back to college.
What you mean?
Yeah, J.R. Smith played the NBA, went back and played golf.
So you might have to pick a new sport.
Joe, you might have to pick a new sport.
Oh, I got two years of eligibility.
You're trying to tell me I can't go play for the Razorback for a little bit of nothing.
No, Joe, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh, J-R did have had all his eligibility because he didn't go to college.
Hey, hey, man, can y'all?
Imagine what my numbers will be like in college right now to the,
I would, boy, oh, Joe.
Nice.
Well, I would show out.
I'll probably be close, but I'll probably be close to like a damn triple double.
That's what I'm trying to tell you y'all.
I'll be, I'll be at about, I'll be at about 22, 23 points a night.
Probably a little more, but rebounds.
I'm going to be a dog on the glass.
And I'm going to be a hell of a playmaker.
I'm going to be able to do every damn thing.
I want to be up for a player of the year now.
You'll be up for the player of the year?
What?
This is a good one right here, guys.
Ronnie Hardaway, start, bitch, cut, juices,
Minute Made, Culead, Snapple,
Liberty City Lizard,
Bacad, Joe Joseph,
balcony slayer sharp.
What do y'all think about those nicknames?
Oh, the Living City of Lelzer.
Hey, hey, hold on, hold on.
Damn, hell, hold on.
Because I ain't no damn back-d-Joe.
I don't know what that came from.
You got to come up with a new damn name for me,
tell us and damn back-down.
I like, I like that,
Backdode cocoa no.
Oh, back.
Oh, back.
Hey, backdo, Joe.
I like, hey, you got to, hey, we got to put that on a shirt.
Nah, yeah, nah.
Hey, hey, but I'm starting Kool-Aid.
Kool-Aid starting.
I don't care what nobody's there.
Snapple and Minut made.
I'm going, I'm going, I'm going,
Snapple then Minut-Made.
Man, that fruit punch, Kool-A, always going first.
Oh, that grape Kool-A.
Hey, okay, that's always going first.
And what was the second?
Minut made.
A minute made.
Minut made.
Snapple.
A, that snapple is second.
That Kiwi strawberry.
Ooh.
That Kiwi strawberry snapple is second.
And Minutemade.
Ooh, I can't even remember none of the Minut made stuff.
Hey, I wonder if Minut made is the one that they got that peach orchard,
peach orchid drink.
Anybody had that?
Anybody in the chat had that Peach Orchard?
Was it Minutemate that made that?
Peach Orchard.
Boy, that thing was fire, boy.
Yeah.
What?
I think it's Minutemate.
I'm not sure.
Chat might, might know.
What's up, Big Three?
Choose the Three with the Most Soul.
Teddy P. Bobby Womack, James Brown,
Ray Charles, Johnny Taylor,
Michael Jackson, Johnny Watson, Prince, or Stevie Wally.
James Brown, number one.
Because they call him Soul Brother number one.
For a reason.
Yeah.
So James Brown
number one for me,
most sold.
Johnny Guitar Watson
or Bobby Womack?
You don't know about that Bobby Womack?
Man, man.
I've been listening to one
Bobby Womack song
over and over and over and over
and over.
This is a man's world.
If you think you're lonely now.
Oh boy, here we go.
Now we're talking.
Wait until tonight.
Girl.
Girl.
So who you got, Joe?
Who you three top soul guys?
I think I'm put Womack up there up.
You're going to put him in front of James Brown?
There's nobody going for the soul brother number one.
Hey, hey, hey, that boy cut a fool.
I'm not to you my face.
You're going to have a tight to finally up the band.
And he gets it.
Ow!
I wonder if I could do that.
But do what?
That Jay had a tight pan with the bell bottom,
them boots.
Hey,
you ain't got no wiggle like that.
You got a loose ankle.
I know,
I know,
my angle's loose now.
I just,
I just say I ain't moved like that in the minute,
boy.
What's up?
Oh, Joe, ISO.
Can you guys wish my wife,
Daniel be a house.
Happy birthday.
I'm currently on deployment watching you guys show out of,
out as usual.
And ISO, where you get those hats up, we from the GTA.
All right, that's what's up.
That's what's up.
Yes, we absolutely can.
Daniel B., happy birthday from your husband.
Happy birthday.
Deployed, you holding it down to home front,
and he wanted to wish you a happy birthday,
let you know.
Appreciate your service.
Appreciate your service.
Absolutely to all the men and women out there serving domestic and abroad.
Thank you, thank you so much for your service.
Issa, what do you get to have from?
I'm going to have.
I'm going to have a nightcap put these hats on display.
Don't y'all worry about it.
They're coming soon.
Okay.
Yeah.
Do y'all think Michael Thomas can make a comeback similar to OBJ?
Where do y'all rank Drew Brees and the all-time quarterbacks?
Who.
When that's that time Michael Thomas played, man?
She didn't be a minute.
At least.
And at least two years, I know, Cho.
Maybe longer.
I'm not,
Ash would have to have to answer that one.
I ain't seen Mike in a minute.
Hell, at one point,
he was,
he was like one of the top receivers in the league.
Hell,
he was crazy one year, boy.
Oh,
he was consistent over there in New Orleans, boy.
Man.
Oh,
well, we ranked Drew Brees.
Ooh.
For me, I'm not putting him in front of,
I'm not putting in front of Brady.
Peyton.
Joe, seven, he can't go in front of none of them.
Now.
That next five out of ten, he's somewhere in that area?
You put him in front of my homes?
Well, shoot, my home should be what?
Up there, what?
Yeah, but I'm just, I just thought up that.
I didn't put anybody in the order.
Oh, no, no, I just said you, you put them in front of my homes?
Okay.
I can't.
That's why, that's why I say he's somewhere in that area from five to ten.
Now, I don't know where you're going to put him,
but five to 10.
Rogers?
It gets tough, man.
That's what I'm saying.
When you say, people say,
give me a list of 10.
Man, when you start throwing those names out there,
like, okay, give me the 10 best,
wide receivers,
give me the 10 best running backs
with the 10 best quarterbacks,
or the 10 best anything.
Man, when you start thinking about,
like, hold on, wait a minute.
Like, she.
Yeah.
Because then, like I say,
you got Rogers.
Me, I'll put it,
over Favre. Yeah, he'd probably run that 10-ish.
That completes this episode of Nightcap.
