I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nick Tutorro. You probably know me from NYPD Blue, the longest yard, or Spike Lease Black Klansman. And on my new podcast, delivering happiness with Nick Tatourl,
Starting point is 00:01:54 I deliver pizza to a new guest. I've shared a slice with everyone, from Seth Rollins. What are you doing my belt? To Bill Burr. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of the mind as I am. And now we even have more great guests coming up,
Starting point is 00:02:09 including the great John Titoro. It's called Happiness, delivering happiness. And many, many more. Open your free High Heart Radio app. Search Delivering Happiness with Nick Titoro. And listen now. Oh, yeah, we locked in on you, boy, man. Y'all don't mess up.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Hey, Joe, you feeling good, huh? Well, I like the energy that's coming out of Dallas. You hear me? Yeah. I like the energy. I like the energy, oh, Joe. I like the energy out of Dallas every season, every all season. I mean, here you go.
Starting point is 00:02:38 There you go Slick Hayden. Then you go Slick Hayden. Joe. All right, guys, here it is. Vikings lineback of Jamal Adams suffered a season ended knee injury. Yeah, game in the preseason, which reignited Graves versus turf. The national soccer teams played at MetLife Stadium grass for the World Cup all summer, but it returned to turf. In 2025, Malik Neighbors towards ACL.
Starting point is 00:03:00 In 2023, Jalen Phillips, towards Achilles. Aaron Rogers, torn Achilles in 2023. Kyle Fuller, torn ACL in 2022. Sterling Shepard, torn ACL, 2022. Wondell Robinson torn ACL, 2022. 49 is Nick Bosa toward ACL 2020. 49 is D. Lammon, Solomon Thomas, torn ACL 2020.
Starting point is 00:03:23 All on turf. Is there a difference playing on grass versus turf, Ocho? Joe. Hey, I'm the wrong one to ask. I'm the wrong one to ask because I haven't had any issues. And obviously, you look at all the names that you just named that have had injuries on turf, but you can also do the same thing for people that have tore the ACL that had the same injury on grass. You can do the same thing. Obviously, I don't have it in front of me. I don't have the numbers or the names of people that have been injured and tore the ACL. For some that you do ask, you know, a lot of people say, yes, there's a difference. They prefer grass. Some people do.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I was one of the few players where it didn't matter. You know what I mean? Listen, we plan on turf. We plan on grass. And I enjoy the turf. Why do I enjoy the turf? Because I understand, even if it's raining, I'm still going to be able to run full speed
Starting point is 00:04:08 and transition and stop on a diet. I'm just telling you how I feel. I'm Joe, I swear for God. I was okay with that. I had no problem playing on grass. You play in Arizona. That Bermuda grass was unbelievable. When I played in Houston,
Starting point is 00:04:22 that Bermuda grass was unbelievable. It was dope, Joe. You didn't even know. So I didn't really care what I was. playing on because I enjoyed either surface. Joe, my black ass was playing in a pair of Chuck Taylor's yesterday going full speed. So you know, I don't care nothing about no surface. Oh yeah, you were tripping.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I care. I want grass, Joe. Yeah, so depending on who you ask, there's certain people that care. If you ask some of the players today, yes, they prefer to play on grass. Hey, hold on, hold on, but I don't care. But what's the biggest difference in playing on grass and turf? Grass is more giving. Oh, okay. Grass is forgiving. That turf ain't given, eh? Nah.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Even in the field turf, they say with light grass, no, I don't want nothing that's like. I won't what it is. Hey, hold on. Oh, it tastes like chicken. No, I want chicken. Hey, hey. So on that turf, is that how y'all get them big cherries on your arms and legs and all that?
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yes. Yes. Yeah. And they hurt, too. You don't realize you get them until you got to. Until you hit that shower, to that water hit you. Hey. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:32 But look, I think the thing is that I understand the players won't grass. But a lot of these stadiums are multi-use. They got concerts. They got other football games. They got tract the pools and they got rodeos and all kind of things going on in there. So it's just hard. It's just too hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:52 It's just too hard. Go ahead, don't you? I'm going to say this. Hey, Joe, and people in the chat that will listen, this is also what makes it hard for teams that obviously want grass. If you get into the late season, you got cold weather.
Starting point is 00:06:07 You got to deal with the cold weather and being able to maintain the field as well because it's going to be, it's going to be messed up. It's going to get bad. It's harder to take care of a grass field if you play somewhere like Cleveland. You play somewhere like New York. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Stuff like that. I mean, it's really bad. So having turf and also from a business aspect, being able to have other events there as well. Where don't tell you. Yeah. So to have to have a concert, you know, a Jay-Z or Beyonce to sell that concert out.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Oh, you see, Shane Gillis, he had a concert in, in Philly Stadium. Yeah. What is it? Lincoln Field, Lincoln Financial. I think that's the name of the field. 73, 70 plus thousand at a comedy event. Right. And then you got track the truck pulled,
Starting point is 00:06:54 Bigfoot coming in there. They're jumping. over big old mountains of dirt. Yeah. And you got bull, bull, right. I mean, so you got so many things, that stadium got to pay for itself. That's, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and,
Starting point is 00:07:07 how could I, how could I, how could I speed up the process of playing for this? They have bowl games in there. Sometimes they have, you know, the stadium, they, free, free part over and over, and they have a hockey game in the, Ocho. Yeah. So it's, it's, it's a lot going on that I understand. And everybody says, oh, oh, oh, you say that. but when you run a business and you trying to keep calls down?
Starting point is 00:07:31 Matter of fact, there have been a few, there have been a few injuries, if I'm not mistaken, early in training camps, and everybody in training camp right now is on grass. There have been some ACL injuries, haven't there? I think, if you have somebody go back, if you have somebody the same way you just did and went down the injuries where people got hurt on turf,
Starting point is 00:07:53 you can do the same thing. But there are a whole lot of people that actually play on turf. I mean, play on grass. There's a whole lot of teams. They're probably less than, probably out of 32, probably less than five, if that many. Yeah. Play on church.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Play on grass, natural grass. Arizona, Las Vegas, Houston. Those are only three I know, unless they change it, unless they change it so far. Yeah, I don't know if Denver is grass still, because they used to have, it used to be mainly grass, but some synthetic sewn in. So I don't really know now.
Starting point is 00:08:23 I didn't really play that much of attention when I was downed. I didn't even think, didn't really dawn on me. but yeah hopefully these guys uh hopefully uh jamaa have a speed of recovery and he comes back but boy ooh damn hey what he heard again oh what he heard again indeed that's crazy man damien lillard says NBA fans better pray pray he doesn't win a championship they'll never give me the credit for what I've actually done they better pray I don't want a championship for the Blazers.
Starting point is 00:08:57 They don't know that side. Now, listen. If he win one with the Blazers now, come on now. They're going to, hey, that's going to be special, bro. But see, the thing is the thing that I don't like is that they make the seem, make it seem like the guy a bum because he ain't won no championship. He ain't no bum.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Far from that. Far from it. He elite elite. Yeah. Far from it. Oh, yeah. Far from it. Look, but see, the thing is that,
Starting point is 00:09:25 Sometimes, Joe, when you play in the era with Steph and you shoot the ball, everything gets lost. Yeah. But this young man here, I call him. He, he's my kids, because of a kid. But this young man here, he can shoot it, can put the ball on the floor, get to the mid-range. He got a smooth, hey, he can finish at the rim.
Starting point is 00:09:48 You're talking about. I've been, I didn't know he been like that. Hey, I'm talking about he, he's one of my favorite guys to watch. Uncle Ocho, Dame Lillard, the way he approaches the game, the way he plays the game, the way he competes. The way he takes his matchup personally, bro, that's what I like to see. At the end of the day, when we play sports, as a fan when we watch, we want to see competition.
Starting point is 00:10:12 We want to see guys competing at the highest level. And every night, bro, he's never going to disappoint. He going to come out and put on the show. I'm talking about, I mean, I tell y'all about the games, hell he gave us 62, 63 points when I was playing in Utah. It's just he's so dynamic because he can shoot three, four steps behind the three. And when you got guys who can shoot that deep Uncle Ocho on a consistent basis, you got to guard their ass out there.
Starting point is 00:10:38 And when you start to guard them out there, that's when they started to use the pick and roll and they have all this real estate to where they can work. And it's hard to stop guys like that in the NBA, bro. And if that man get back to playing at that high level like that, Portland is going to be something to deal with in their Western conference. I'm glad to see him back healthy. I'm glad to see that his body looks great. He looks like he in great shape.
Starting point is 00:11:00 And he's focusing ready, bro, because he knows. He hear the whispers, too. He hear people talking, our damn ain't going to never be the same hand. Why? That boy going to come back. He comes back. He's going to come back here. If he comes back anything close to what he was like before that injury,
Starting point is 00:11:16 the blazers is going to be special. Now, they're going to have hell to deal with now. They got damn western commerce. Yeah, they got hair to deal with it. But hey, him and him and jaw. championship because I think they need some pieces but as long as he come back and look like the dame that i that i remember but when he left oh yeah i'm Gucci on that yeah that's gonna be nice that's gonna be real nice wall he can flat out fill it up man think about you know what i'm
Starting point is 00:11:39 have to go back to a lakers game to see him play because i've never seen him play in person oh you know if he you know when he goes out when he go to l a i do i told y'all man when they when cobbie passed away when that covey and they had that Kobe tribute game oh Cho, they played against the Blazer. I said, Dane was the most disrespectful person I ever seen in my damn life. The way he went in L.A. and put on the show, bro. But at the end of the day, Kobe wouldn't have wanted no other way. No other way.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Coming in there, no holes, bars, going at them boys. That boy's special. Man, when he, when he get, when he get it going, that's the left. If you, hey, if he turned it on, ain't no turning off. And guess what? I ain't telling you something. than told me hell I'm telling you something I know okay yeah yeah yeah yeah when he get it going so I'm definitely gonna see him by a hey I might have a bite
Starting point is 00:12:35 the bullet and go see the Lakers but I would get I would get the jersey I'm that's what I'm going I'm getting a dollar I know you watch it yeah be watching I need that jersey when I come see you at the lake oh yeah oh yeah and we kind of play like a little bit, huh Joe? Who, you or who? Huh? Who are you talking about? You ain't talking about no damn Lille.
Starting point is 00:12:59 No? No, not you and Dane. You probably play, you probably play more like, uh, uh, yeah, who he played like? Matthew Liller. You got it played Scooby-Doo in the movie. The Bannick played Shaggy. You remember him?
Starting point is 00:13:20 Yeah. The 76s this season have the least amount of back-to-back games. They have the least amount of three games in four nights. Don't play their first Western conference game until the 18th game of the season. That's how it's supposed to be. What's your bad for?
Starting point is 00:13:36 Hey, hey, hey. They're talking, but I tell you what, this is what we know. This is not speculation. This is not conjecture. This is not innuendo. LeBron James is still the face of the league. Because guess what?
Starting point is 00:13:50 If he wasn't, they'd have came out with them schedules anyway, wouldn't they joke? Oh, man. What are you talking? They can do it. man decided where he was going. Yeah. All I know, for the three years leading up, three, four years before LeBron got to the Lakers,
Starting point is 00:14:02 they weren't on Christmas. LeBron come to the Lakers, they there eight straight years. They play on Christmas Day. Guess who don't got no Christmas Day game this year, Ocho? Guess who ain't playing on Cremmer? Lagos. They do it all that joking. Oh, he's done.
Starting point is 00:14:17 He needed to retire. But don't nothing move without goat. Uh-uh. Not only do they, open it up. They open up and they got criminal day. Hey, they got a mob over that old Uncle Ocho. Hell yeah, hey, everybody wants to see them boys play. And you're right,
Starting point is 00:14:35 LeBron does move the needle, bro. He's still the face. Yeah, he's still the face. Yeah, he's still the face. Until he retired, let's not have that conversation anymore. Until he's a done. I'm not sure anybody will push back on that, huh? Who's going to push back on that?
Starting point is 00:14:49 Yeah, about him not be in the face. It'll be some people push back. They'll be some people push back. because they put you back. They keep moving the needle. Hold on. You can't be great if you move. If you go to more than two teams,
Starting point is 00:15:00 you can't be great. Uh, you see the, Ocho, you see the hurdle they keep. Yeah. All they do is every hurdle they put up, he clear it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:10 They keep raising the bar. Pretty soon he got to be Javier Sotomayor my order to break the eight foot, he got to go over eight foot and a half inch. And he'll do- Harvey Eircleans set eight foot a quarter inch. He got to be eight foot to half.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah. Look, no fuck you wrong. All I know is what did Adam Silver say? He didn't say that about anybody else. He didn't say, I hope somebody, I need them to hurry up and make a decision. He wasn't worried about what Luca did. He wasn't worried about what Shay.
Starting point is 00:15:40 He wasn't worked. They could have made the schedule any way they wanted to. Why did he wait on goat James if he ain't the face? Come on, man. You see who that man been doing? Don't be mad. Don't be bad, Tito. I know it hurts.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I do it. Damn. I'd be glad to retire. I know you will. But until he retired, he's going to be on criminal. Yeah. He's going to be on criminal until he retired.
Starting point is 00:16:13 And guess what they did? Guess how they put him on criminal, Joe? What? They put him on crimpins in L.A. So he can open packages with again. Oh. That's how he did it. Put him in L.A.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Samantha say, I want you here, baby. And Adam, I need to be in L.A. on Cremma. Oh, that is who they played. They played the Lakers on Christmas on. Oh, Cremma Day. Zuri said, I want my daddy home. He already explained it to him and said, baby, you might not see me every day.
Starting point is 00:16:40 She said, but I need to see you on Cremma Day. She said, I need to see you on Cremma Day. If I don't see you on Cremma Day. You know, I don't see you criminal day. Yeah. I don't say, baby, you know I don't hold it down. But I need you here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Yeah. Well deserved. He definitely moves in neither. Hey, he definitely moves in neither. They couldn't do the schedule without him. When have you ever heard that, Ocho, Joe? When have you ever heard that, Joe, Ocho? Hey.
Starting point is 00:17:08 A sports organization, a sports league Yes. Would not release the schedule until one man, Gordon to his 24th year, made his decision on where he was going. Listen, even the people, even the people that don't like LeBron, even the people that deny and always complain,
Starting point is 00:17:28 you know, and turn down everything he's done and accomplished to this point. They even know, even they know LeBron is still the face of the lead. There's really nothing. There's really nothing you can say or do about it. And what Adam Silver did
Starting point is 00:17:43 and having to wait for him to make a decision to release the schedule, doesn't change anything. Everybody knows. Everybody knows who the man is. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm trying to figure out why the chance to say I'm wrong. Adam Silver said it.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Adam Silver said we'd like to have a decision here sooner or later so we can come out with the schedule. I didn't say that. He said that. And as soon as he made a decision. Where's LeBron family at? They could have put him in a lot of different places on criminal day.
Starting point is 00:18:12 They could have put Boston versus Philly. Why they put him in the Lakers? God, they went over in the packages with Savannah and Zuri and Bryce will be there and Bronny will be there. Huh? Don't be bad. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:18:31 It is what it is. You know the more people say Joe all the time. Boy, it's hard but it's fair. Yes, sir. It's bad, but it's true. Lo. Oh, Krimba. We're home for Krimma.
Starting point is 00:18:44 You know, everybody want to be home for the holiday Joe. Hey. Everybody want to be with their family. Don't you want to be with your family on Krimma? Yeah. I want to be with your family on criminal. Hey, the question is, who are you going to be room for on Christmas? What you mean?
Starting point is 00:18:59 Who? Man, stop that. They stop that. Oh, you would go jam. For sure. Oh, great. One trillion percent. One trillion percent.
Starting point is 00:19:13 All right. Well, but he go. As a matter of fact, when he retired, I might retire my services. I might not root for nobody. I. Hey, that's real thought. I'm not rude for nobody. You know what?
Starting point is 00:19:31 I get Ant-Man. Ant-Man from the crib. I'm going to get Ant-Man. Yeah. Hey, they should be on the- Hey, everybody knows I've been a Luca fan. I'm like Yolkitch, but with Go to James leave,
Starting point is 00:19:46 Ant-Man is all I got. Damn. It's going to be a good one, this is your fellow. I do play like Ant Man. Hey, man, we got to get to a couple of games. I gotta see, like, I mean, Vegas, y'all need to hear if we get a damn team, man. Damn.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Hold on, I thought I heard Ojo, I thought I heard you say something. What you just said, Ojo? Huh? I thought I just heard you say something. What did you just say? No, I was saying that I think about it. I'm saying when Ong said, Ant, man,
Starting point is 00:20:18 I'm thinking about our games are kind of similar a little bit, offensively. You, Aunt. Hey, boy, hey, hey, you're a special cancer, homie. I just want you to know that, all right? You're a special care of them. Hey, hey, Joe. Yeah, I would just think about that.
Starting point is 00:20:40 Hey, listen, that's neither here nor there. Okay, all right. All right. Well, yeah, it's, uh, they got late A. So hopefully Joel and B say he's healthy. He ain't had to have no surgeries. Hey, they, eh, J.B, got to prove A, bro. They got up off you for nothing.
Starting point is 00:21:02 They traded you for a guy that they wanted to get rid of. The Sixers wanted to get rid of. And they ain't even pushed back. They ain't even take Etchcom. Boy, hey, and Joel don't lost their weight too. Yeah. Looking good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:18 You keep that thing off. They're going to be all right. Tyree's Massey. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be a good year, man, for the hoop session. You're going to be like jump major to that. thing. Hey, I got, I got, I got my tickets already too.
Starting point is 00:21:32 For what? Tickets do what? Uh, the first, the opening season, open the season. Hey, listen, I'm not talking about Minnesota and Miami Heat. Oh, I thought you said, I thought you were talking about, Oh, that's a good game. That's an opening game. That's the opening game. In Miami? I think I can see, I could, I got mine early. I got my seat early. I got my seat early because I know it's going to be expensive, so I got them early. Hey, I actually, I thought you were talking about the six and the dicks. I said, I know you and got no tickets for that game.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Hell no. That's the most expensive ticket in over the night history. Hey, listen, I can get some tickets to it now. I just, I just ain't, I, you know, I ain't paying a certain price point. But, yeah, you're going to have to pay a bag and I'm going to have to fly that way across, uh, way, uh, what? Yeah. Man, I'm gonna be all broke.
Starting point is 00:22:22 I'll be all still getting out that plane flying six hours. That's why, hey, that's why we got, hey, that's why we got this nightcap jet. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Hey, hey, let me tell you something. Oh, look. Didn't I see you the price of that jet? I sent you that thing.
Starting point is 00:22:39 You did. You did. You did. But, I just need three, four trips a year. I don't need nothing more than that. Hold on. Hey, Joe, what did? We could do that.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Joe, what the number looked like, Joe? She won't send me? Yeah. I'm scared to send it till you head away. Hey, when they told you, the Jack Cubs standard and when you move something around, you're talking about 400,000 here, 150,000 there, 1.5 million for the staff.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I said, oh no. Hold on, what that one? What that was, the G5? Had to be a G5. 650. Oh, Cho, just to move the seats, it was like 3, 400K just to move the seats in different, different area.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I'm like, damn. So instead of a captain chairs, if you want a bench seat. Yeah. $400,000. Because they're going to have to reconfigure the plane now. You notice how they say, well, make sure they put certain people. Do you wonder why, like, why they put certain people here?
Starting point is 00:23:40 Because the weight discrepaned, the thing got to balance out. Right. I'll tell you what, I'm at a manifest, and I'm telling you it's going to happen right now. You see how we talk about the prices and what it would be? And it's being pretty steep, but it's going to come a time. Yeah. Well, we ain't even going to think about it. We just going to do it.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Yeah. I'm telling you, Nightcap, different now. Night night night cap is different. I don't think y'all see, I can see the vision. I could see the vision. We probably will have a nightcap jet at some point. Ocho, I see it, Ocho. I give it another two years.
Starting point is 00:24:08 I see it, Ocho. I won't think you're gonna take that long. I see it. You might be right, but I'm just, you know, the way God work, you know, we, we, we ain't on, we know our time and it's on his time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's okay.
Starting point is 00:24:21 That's okay. Yeah, hey, listen, that don't make him no bad, God. A thousand years might be one day for him. Hello. Hello. Now you're talking. Come on, man. Yeah, I have been to get that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I believe the role. I believe the robe, Ocho. Yeah. Not the night. Hey, don't do it. River Shaw may go out tonight? Not the night. Not the night. Not the night. Dr. Frank El Bellamy, hey fam, I see tonight's theme is Jurassic Park. Which one of y'all would have survived the longest on that island? Not Ocho. Why would not survive? I got the best survival skills at all of us. No, you don't. How do you figure that? Boy, you know, what? What? What?
Starting point is 00:32:23 How do you figure that? Joe, I would, Joe, I was on my, I've been on my own surviving my own since I was nine years old. How are you going to tell him you're going to survive better than me when it comes to something like a hypothetical like dealing with dinosaurs? You ain't never been in the woods. And he don't know how to be still. He don't know how to be calm.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Thank you. You know, he can't do that. That velociraptor and that T. Tell your answer. Not really, not really. A living where I'm from is like dealing with people that are just like velocaraptists in Tyranosaurus. It's just different.
Starting point is 00:32:53 It's just different. You got to think, hey, Joe, and I'm, listen, I'm at the city, baby. We talk about Liberty City in the 80s and 90s. That's just like Jurassic Park. Yeah, okay. It ain't no different.

He had, he won the first ones I ever seen with a trench starter, real talk. And they made him come up out of it, didn't it? Nah, they didn't make him come out of, he, he was good, he was good, but I ain't going to lie.

Starting point is 00:35:54 I always, if I go into another sport and I do it and I take a series, especially boxing, I'm fighting a real fighter. I don't do no celebrity boxing matches. That's making a mockery of their sport. Man, you saw them guys last night, Ocho. Who was fighting? Ray J. And Orlando Brown.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Yeah. Orlando Brown. Which Orlando Brown? From Disney? The anchor. Yes. Oh, they went out of. Who won?

Hey, that's what the tree, that's what, hey, that's what every tree said to Paul Bunyan, too. T.S. Carwise Detail Service. Isso, did you ever go for Kobe Bryant? pump fake uh i probably had went for the time or two you know obviously that's a huge emphasis
Starting point is 00:37:27 in the game playing unkin ocho they tell you right now guys like dway kobe they always use a pump fake if they get you at a spot to where you do play great defense they're going to use the pump fake at the end of they at the end of their move so i always try to stay disciplined but it's tough bro when you got a guy who can score it will and score the way cove did i mean here you's gonna go for a couple of them i ain't gonna lie to you In just 15 years, Vaughn has managed to play for all 32 teams. He's going to retire shield of itself. All 32 teams are going to be on the Hall of Fame plaque.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And yeah, ISO, that makes him a bad brother. What? No, Von good, bro. He played for the Broncos, the Rams, the bills, commanders, not a cowboy. The man still can play. He still wants to play. And when you get guys, man, man, what this man? Shadowboxing on?
Starting point is 00:38:18 What's wrong with this man? Yeah. Hey, hey, and when you get- Shadowboxing on the radio. I just don't know. Man, I'm knocking a little ass out with them little weak-haired parts. Yeah, hey, hey, as you get up an age, bro, and you still take care of yourself and you still able to play at a high level,
Starting point is 00:38:39 it's hard to let the game go, bro. Like, Vaughn still look good, man. He's going to go out there. He gives us anywhere from 7 to 10 sacks this season. Oh, man, that's a win. Yeah. and that's a i
Starting point is 00:38:51 Clarissa and Atlanta gonna make ISO jump from one to five oh yeah real for real how what they mean yeah everybody already know you

Oh, Joe, this for you, big three, mid condition, Tony, Tony, Tony, who you got and why? Ooh, mink condition Tony, Tony, Tony, do you know.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Hey, I'm going with a, today is, hey, it's my anniversary. It's our anniversary. It's our anniversary. It's anniversary. That's hard. Yeah. Hey,
Starting point is 00:39:53 that made condition hard, though. Okay, Ocho. Ooh. Hey, so fine is my favorite. So fine. So fine. Yeah. Hey,
Starting point is 00:40:04 would that beat drop this intention? Hey, man, listen. I'm going, I'm going to make condition then Tony, Tony, Tony. Tony, Tony, hard, though. I ain't going to lie to you. could you stop ultra dama from getting over 150 yards or king isle from getting 30 in a real game all of y'all prime uh i think for me to be honest i think it'd be easy for me to stop

Starting point is 00:41:10 touch me you know that right yeah I do yeah you can't tell me so now you got to use that ladder movement and then when I shoot this tall man jump shot you to get to that tall man when I got it up here like that you can't get to that you got to receive you looking at me now with these bilateral hit replacement my hip wasn't always bang my back my back my back pedal game always been weak a little i'll probably get i probably give like buck 25 but i get two p i get two p u uh two p u b's hey don't even worry about it you you just keep my basketball, keep it in good condition.
Starting point is 00:41:51 We're going to have this little shootout. Me and you, don't worry. But yeah, there it go. There you go. Check. Y'all, check it out. Check it out. He won't this.
Starting point is 00:41:58 He was, he wasn't. You see what I'm doing. Yeah. They're going to look good. I got football too, won't you? Yeah. You can't get it because you can't beat me and nothing. You can't throw farther to me.
Starting point is 00:42:12 You can't put farther to me. I know I can out throw both of y'all. I bet I can out throw both y'all. You know what? I ain't, I ain't, I ain't gonna say none. Because you know it's true.
Starting point is 00:42:22 That's why you ain't gonna say nothing. Oh, hey, I'm not gonna say nothing because you ain't gonna get out there and do nothing. You crazy. Let's go to the spot
Starting point is 00:42:28 where they got the little, they got the little quarterback there where you got throwing a little holes and all that. Hey, Joe, no, you ain't gonna pick up the phone. You ain't,
Starting point is 00:42:35 Smoke you like a blunt. You ain't know, you can't be to do nothing with this, him. You ain't gonna show up. You ain't gonna show up. Uh, man,
Starting point is 00:42:46 I asked y' y'all why I received a duo yesterday. I thought we gave you that. Anyway, start, bitch, cut, six-man edition, Manu, Lou Will, Craw. All I know is Jamal Crawford called fire. The universe had nothing for him. Joe, Manu, Lou Will, or Craw?
Starting point is 00:43:03 I'm going, Manu. Start, bitch, cut. I'm going, Manu. You got to start Manu. Yeah, I'm going, I got to start Manu. Then I'll probably, I'm gonna probably go, I'm probably gonna go Jamal Crawford. I ain't gonna lie to you.
Starting point is 00:43:30 And I'm gonna have to cut Lou. Dang. I know it hurt too. It hurt. It hurt. Lou my man's, bro. Damn. Y'all come up with these real, unrealistic.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Come on, man. Yeah. Yeah. Money law, 2502 says CD Lamb and Pickens are the best duo in the league. O2D. to stop drinking all them red bull. Ain't nobody listening to him, man. Ain't nobody talking about they're the best doing the league. They ain't even playing together in 17 games season, man.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Hey, get out your feeling, bro. Get out your feeling. That's what the people don't spoke. The people don't spoke. People that did, they just say anything. All right, so you got to start bench and cut your former coaches. Mike Dantone, Mike D.Otson, or Eric Spostra. I'm going to go, I'm going to start Mike D.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Anthony because Mike D. Antony, when he got the Phoenix, Uncle Ocho, I was, it was in my third year. And he let me play, bro. He gave, he put the rock in my hands. He allowed me to make plays. He allowed, he allowed me to be a big point guard. This is before we got Nash and Quentin Richardson. So, uh, I kind of flourished under his, you know, under his coaching and his toolage.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Mike Wilson, I'm going to put him second. I'm going to have to bench Mike Wilson because when I got here to Atlanta, you know, he pretty much played through me. He was a, he was like a father figure to me, if you want me to keep. keeping 100. You know, me and him used to have a lot of sit downs just telling me, hey, look, I need you to do this. I need you to be like this, you know, because it was a learning curve coming from Phoenix to Atlanta from being like third or fourth option in Phoenix to being the number one option in Atlanta. It was a learning curve for me. So he helped me with that. And Coach Sposha,
Starting point is 00:45:16 a hell of a coach. I had a hell of a time in Miami, bro. It was just so short because it was like I took a buyout from Brooklyn. And then I signed with the Miami. Miami Heat y'all do know that year I signed with the Miami Heat I could have signed I had talked to Braun I was supposed to sign with Cleveland and that's the year they came back from 3-1 I could have been on that Cleveland team the year they came back from 3-1 but my decision-making was like this damn you got brun you got Kyrie you got Kevin Love hell it ain't but two more spots opening me Richard Jefferson J.R. Smith and and Shump hey man I ain't gonna go over here and fight
Starting point is 00:45:55 with you boy when I could go over here to Miami And we got something don't nobody else got, which was White Side at the time who was a monster. Obviously, we got D. Wade, and they were last in the NBA and three-point shooting, so they needed shooting. They needed scoring. And I can play back up point. You know, I can handle the rock and make plays.
Starting point is 00:46:13 So that was my whole purpose of going to Miami. But I had a great time in Miami, bro. I had a great time. Spore, great coach. Azo, can you talk about the organization you go to matters? I just saw Rodney Hood highlights. Bro, I don't know what happened to him. He was nice.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Now, hoodie, that's my guy. Hoodie was nice. He had a great opportunity in Utah when Gordon left. You know, they kind of put it under, put it in his hands. I don't know, man. It just never really worked out for Hoodie, but he was a hell of a player, though. Hell of a player. Lefty, by six, seven, Uncle Ocho, had bounced, could shoot it, could score, could defend.
Starting point is 00:46:50 He could play, bro. Get Bell, Pure Fiber Internet with Craved Netflix and Disney Plus from $94 a month. Hold, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. How I move up to two? Is it because of some of the stuff I were asking Clarissa?
Starting point is 00:51:45 Well, yeah, don't worry about how. We just know you are. Well, you got to give me, you got to tell me something. I mean, you can't just move me to two saying that. What, how that word? You move me to two. Well, hold on, who the hell. Hell, you should be one.
Starting point is 00:51:57 You are Ocho fighting. Hell. Hold on, he is one. I'm definitely not one. The fact that you can fix your face and say you definitely not one is just, it's just crazy work. Trust me, I'm not. Anything I do, I told you, everything I tell you all on here is about past experiences.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Not in nothing I'm doing that. Exactly. I ain't got no stories to tell. I don't told all my story. I haven't like four or five up. Man, please. What? Yeah, I still got some stories in your back pocket.
Starting point is 00:52:27 I ain't crazy. Oh, hey, Joe, I got a 30 piece in my back pocket or something. I already know it. I don't know. I've got to write a book. I gotta write a book. I gotta say the story. I got a few more I might be shared a little inside on, but you know.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Yeah. I got some more good ones. I'm just waiting on the right time. Yeah. Uh-huh. When all y'all going hunting and fishing trip for a video, I told you, we go, we go fishing. We go fishing this fall. What we, what we fishing for?
Starting point is 00:52:54 I don't know. Can fish, perch, bass, what we're fished for. Man, we fished for whatever the hell biting. I ain't, I ain't, tell me, talking about some. Oh, we, we, we, Propy, we, bands. I ain't damn that. What's biting out here in the water?
Starting point is 00:53:07 Hey, y'all can, y'all fish, we fished from the boat. What you doing? You jumping in? I'm getting in the water. First of all, he don't know nothing about, he ain't gonna do no noodling.
Starting point is 00:53:17 He ain't gonna do that. Hey, he ain't even do no, but land fish, your fish. Hey, I know, I know a little something about noodling now. I ain't got no problem putting my hand in the hole. Oh, okay. You put your tongue in the hole to catch him.
Starting point is 00:53:32 I already know, Joe, we already know. Yeah, I know how you get down. I'm ready, man. Little Rambo. I'm ready. Oh, Ocho needs a red car suspended for at least one show. You do, man. Don't you, that bad, dude.
Starting point is 00:53:55 I told you, man. Hey, listen. Hey, chat, see, that's the problem. See, some of the things I see on here, a lot of people, they don't take offense. to it but to them it sounds like oh my goodness it's outrageous oh it's crazy no it's outrageous and it's crazy to you because the rest of the world refuses to live in their truths huh people do this all over the world some of the things i share this happens everywhere everyone just scared to just be themselves
Starting point is 00:54:22 let it out i'm one of the few you know it don't make me no bad brother i don't really care how people feel about me which is why i'm able to live the way i live i'm just living in my truth and sharing my past experience with y'all so y'all can improve your life before it's too late i'm good i'm good i'm i mean i mean we have tons of fun over here i don't know where i mean listen it's there's levels of fun i mean the level of fun you having is you know it's basic yeah there's basic mad one plus one equals two man oh oh listen there's algebra then there's calculus there's levels to everything joe oh so your fun is your fun is basic fun how that man gonna say i'm having basic but how you know what type fun I'm having you tell you know to all the calculus fun you don't know
Starting point is 00:55:07 all the algebra fun you don't know if I'm walking around the room or that you don't know what going on what I'm doing I mean hey you know Joe we Joe been working out Joe say he's strong hey hey oh I got my hip back my knee back my knee back my knee strong I could go up to stairs you know I'm saying huh yeah yeah I'm doing my lunges my bogarian squats and I may please Joe can throw mom over the shoulder Oh, what's you talking about? What's you talking about? What's you talking?
Starting point is 00:55:39 He ain't got to use the elevator no more, Ocho. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's why you're number two. Ocho number one, I'm number three. Frank Logan, 3,500. Ocho started living after that Haitian slammed his old lady. Oh, man, come on.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Don't bring that up, bro. Huh? They're talking about the little zoe, man, when you was in high school. When I was a freshman. Yeah. Hey, hey. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Hey. Oh, Joe, I swear I'd left Miami. Why would you leave Miami? I would, what? Well, listen, listen, I didn't terrorize all eight people. It's cool. Damn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Hey, hey. You did say they used to call you the blumber, though. Hey Joe Uncle Joe listen you can hate that that one he got yeah and I don't slaughter all that all right I don't slaughter all that through Miami the past 30 years huh it's all about the experience yeah yeah I don't need you to stay but I will be an everlasting memory hello hello hello oh Joe I like that what I like that I don't need you to stay I like that but I like that but I will be a everlasting memory. your everlasting memory. I just want you to remember the experience.
Starting point is 00:57:03 That's all that stuff you do? Yeah, because ain't nobody else going to do it. Hey, hey, Ocho say he's here for a good time, not a long time, partner. Hey, period. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, clock, clock. Hello, hello. Hello. Hello. You don't know he putting that baby, he putting that baby D on him. He put that baby D on him. Hey, hey. And put it anywhere. What?
Starting point is 00:57:32 You gotta have lip or auto put it anywhere. Oh, man, come on. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Now, what y'all need to remember. Now, this is the old me we're talking about now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let get some understood. Just the fact that with you at some point in time, though.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Yeah, absolutely. Now I'm a little bit more structured and discipline. Yeah. Yeah. You know, Cambodia don't play that. Hello. Just say no. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:55 Just say no Almighty James too tired Oh give me the word I'll make him disappear Now I wouldn't be disappear He could we just think You just know how you know I stay over here
Starting point is 00:58:12 He's still over there Mm Nebula 7618 I broke up with my man Now he got his mother on my line And I don't want to be rude How can I be polite And let her know
Starting point is 00:58:29 Well, let her know what? It all depends on what you broke up with him for. Matter of fact, if it's bad enough, you would have told his mama and let her know why you broke up with her son. No, that's number four talking. Yeah, hey, hey. My grandma, the dude called my aunt, my aunt's boyfriend that she broke up with him.
Starting point is 00:58:48 And he called Miss Mary, you know, my aunt, she passed away, Gladys rest your soul. Oh, Pedro. Oh, call a Bobcat. You know, me and Gladys broke up. You know, I was wondering, My grandma say, I ain't put you all together. I ain't take y'all apart.
Starting point is 00:59:03 Don't call me. Hey, hold on. He got his mama calling because he's hoping she can subsize some stuff. He knows, he know you're going to cut up if he call you. You know, so if I had my mama call, then maybe she won't be as rude. You hear what I'm saying? Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:20 And she says she don't want to be rude. Yeah. Nebula, you just got to be honest with him. Say, look, me and your son, our relationship is run its course. I no longer want to be in this relationship. I no longer feel the way I felt in the beginning of this relationship. And it's time for us to go our separate ways.
Starting point is 00:59:37 Before somebody gets hurt, worse than it could potentially be. It's best that we end this relationship now. While we're on, look, and I'm going to say, we're on bad terms, but it's going to get worse if we keep going around and keep doing it like this here. Hello. Hello. That's all I got for you, babe.
Starting point is 00:59:56 I knew Ocho was a freak. We pulled out that blind Mohawk back. of the day. Oh, fact, yeah. I remember you had that blind Mohawk, too, boy. Hey, listen, you have to understand. When I'm on the football field, Joe,
Starting point is 01:00:07 that's nothing but a character. That's nothing but a character. Any time I cross between them lines, anytime they have a camera in front of me, that is nothing but a character. That's it. Okay. That's all of these.
Starting point is 01:00:19 I had to hear she ain't get the memo. You just got to tell her, just tell her. Just tell her say it ain't going to work. We had our three months, our three years, I have a longest been, Nebula. But you just got to be, hey. But I don't believe in getting,
Starting point is 01:00:34 I don't believe in getting people involved in my relationship. Yeah, me neither, man. Hey, hey, hey, you deal with them privately, bro. Yeah. You don't want me? Damn, you show? Hey. I'd be like, Dave, bro, please.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Please. Hey, when I was young and I think about it, Uncle Joe, you know, you put so much value into those that you're dating at the time. You never really realize, you know, you put all the value in that individual. And as you get older, and you're a little bit more seasoned,
Starting point is 01:01:11 a little bit more wiser. Yes, uh. And you understand that, eh, okay, I ain't really, okay. Yeah. Be like 12 games. Been on all again, but wow.
Starting point is 01:01:25 Let me do with that dog in Georgia style. Hey. Hey, that thing for you, rock it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:36 Let me ride that dokey, dokey, don't. Let me ride that dokey, dokey, please. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey. I beg it down to beg like James. I so, I so know what he'd do it. If Aaron Donald was working out for the boys,
Starting point is 01:01:54 he'd be saying, oh yeah, he's coming back. You're damn right, I would be. I ain't gonna lie too. I ain't gonna tell you no lie. See, I ain't gonna lie to you because it's sad to fly to you. I'm gonna keep it 100. Yeah, if that boy would have, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:06 Oh, man, if that's your, if Aaron Dollar was going to the Cowboy, man, we wouldn't be able to do that with this, man. Oh, Cho, you like to be, I won't come on Sunday night. I come on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Boy, y'all know how fast I'll be in here on the Zoom meeting, boy, what?
Starting point is 01:02:28 is Julio Jones the Hall of Famer? What other receivers need that jacket? Absolutely. It's absolutely a Hall of Famer. Richard Wayne need to get in. Torrey Holt need to get in. Steve Smith, Sr. need to get in. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:45 But I think why receivers are the harder position to get in in the hall? It is the hardest position. Why do you think that is, though? Because they got to stop judging across eras. because you look at like they throw the ball now now if you don't have 1,200 catches on your children, people are going to thank you a bum. Right. And you got to realize that's why that's why Jerry is so out of this world.
Starting point is 01:03:21 Jerry did most of his damage in the 80s in the 90s. He got 15,000, you got 1,500 catches, 22,000 yards. I think Larry Fisher. journal is the closest. He's 5,000 yards behind that man. Basically three, three full NFL season. If he have 15 of the yards, a season, which is a great, great season, he's still three football seasons behind it. Jerry had 1,200 yards at 40. 40 year old with 1,200 yards.
Starting point is 01:03:56 Have a 100 yard game in like 42. That completes this episode of Nightcap. We want to thank out very, very, very. very special guest for joining us.
