Well, we're up here for the Webby Awards
and the Webby Awards
honors the best in digital.
Now, you would think
if you're honored for an award in digital,
you probably want to bring the equipment
that which you got nominated for.
Someone chose to leave their equipment.
And so here we are.
That's the award.
Please thank you for selling
Got Shaved by LaPorte 8.
Thank you.
We're going to be able to clear up
all the back orders
because we just got new shipments in.
We're going to be able to clear up

Ocho, we were at the Webby
Awards tonight. One of the
four awards that ShakeShakeMedia
won, Nightcap won one,
Best
Sports Podcast.
I was honored by the
NAACP for Vanguard
award, and then we
won two other awards, the Cat Williams one
and the Marshawn Lynch one.
You have the award in your hands, so tell the people
about the award. Well, obviously, we
won an award. First off,
I want to say thank you,
your team, for allowing me to come on and make this something very, very special.
More importantly, the people that have supported us since we started.
Without you guys, our success would be nothing.
You are the meat and potatoes to why this show is going the way it's going right now.
I appreciate and love all of you.
This is one of the few moments that you see me in somewhat of a serious, serious tone
because I understand without you guys,
none of this would have been possible.
Please continue to support us
and we will continue to give you authentic
and organic content from here on out.
So yeah, as Ocho was saying,
so thank you for everybody that's behind the scenes.
I know everybody, Ocho and I,

from Ash, who's producing the show,

And to make sure we get the clips out, the shorts out,
we want to thank you.
We want to thank the volume for their great staff
for collabing with me and Shea Shea Media
to make all this stuff possible.
CJ and his staff at Pink Deer for all the success behind club shea shea we just want to thank
everybody that behind the scenes because all those ocho and i get credit for nightcap and myself
because i'm the only one that's really uh hosting um club shea shea we get all the credit but it's
so many hard-working people behind the scene. Dougie, Dougie, appreciate you.
Appreciate you.
I don't know yet, but I appreciate you.
It's that deserve to get credit.
Let's get right into it, Ocho.
The Thunder go on the road, even the series up, take back home court.
A very hard-fought victory.
They went 100-96.
Shea Gilgamesh Alexander was, again, he was exemplary.
34 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks,
52% from the floor.
Chet Holbrook, 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, 6 of 9.
Had the most playoff box, 23 by a rookie since Serge Ibaka.
Luka tonight had 7 turnovers and 6 buckets.
Missed game time free throws.
He and Kyrie have not been playing well with the exception of that one game
in which Luka played really well on the road in game two
in which they won he and Kyrie
have yet to put a game together
PJ Brown has been playing
unbelievable but he
wasn't enough tonight and being
down by as many as 14 points late
in the third quarter
and down by as many as 8 points
9 points in the fourth quarter
the OKC Thunder come back,
snatch back home court
and now they go back home for game five
and see if they can go up 3-2.
Watching the game, Ocho, what did you
like and what you saw from the Thunder?
Obviously, what I saw from the Thunder,
SGA. I'm going to just say
SGA because I always pronounce his first name wrong.
Shea.
Shea is doing what he's doing. Obviously,
his supporting cast has been
phenomenal on his
part and everyone
helping as well. Lou Dort
had a good game. Finished with
17 points. Obviously, Shet Holmgren as well.
So,
there, I'm not going to say
they're top three because that wouldn't be their
top three players, right?
Jalen Williams, Shea Jalen Williams and Chet.
Okay, would be.
But if you don't have any output from Luka, Kyrie not playing well, who only had nine points if I'm not mistaken.
Correct. being the leading scorer and doing his part, but the two superstars, the two-headed monster that should be playing for Narno or Tupar is one of the reasons why the series is now tied.
Right.
And they probably should be up
considering you're getting that kind of production
from your third guy,
and you're not getting your superstar,
you're not getting the production
from the guy that you're counting on,
that you're depending on.
I don't know what's going wrong with Kyrie.
I mean, this Kyrie, this is not the Kyrie that I'm used to seeing.
I don't recall him playing as bad as what he's playing as being as inefficient.
He's not taking a whole lot of shots.
He's not scoring a whole lot in the first half.
You kind of overlook it because he's kind of gotten it going in a couple of
games in the second half.
But for whatever reason, he could not get on track tonight.
Luka has been very inefficient with the exception of maybe one game
and the turnovers.
Luka's beat up, but he's going to have to find a way.
You can't get every call.
You got to stop flopping because you're laying on the floor.
They're getting back up the court, and they're getting shots off.
And your man's scoring.
They got up a couple of threes.
They got some layup because you're back there arguing with a call,
expecting to get a call, and they're not giving you the call.
They kind of let them play tonight.
And so give OKC.
They knew they had to have this game.
You don't normally team that go up 3-1 for the most part
win about 90% of the times.
And because you're going back home 3, you go up 3-1,
and you're probably going to end up going back home for game 5.
So you're going to be in front of your whole crowd.
But give the OKC Thunder credit. They're the number one home for game five. So you're going to be in front of your whole crowd. But give the OKC Thunder credit.
They're the number one seed for a reason.
I didn't, and
my research before this, they
had the most 10-point comfort behind wins.
So that shows you that even though
they're a young group, they're resilient.
And they feel that they're
in any game because they have that
guy who finished second in the MVP.
Some of the shots that he made, even when
they were down 8-10 points,
that kept them attached, that didn't let
the Mavs get up by 12, get up by
14 again in that fourth quarter, he
made a shot, I think, that tied the game up
from the side,
shot it over the corner of the backboard, and he hit
nothing but net.
This is a good question for me.
On the outside, looking in, obviously, if you're a betting a good question for me. On the outside looking in,
obviously, if you're a betting man,
if you're a gambling man,
you say, well,
you look at the series,
OKC being a very young team,
but like you said,
they are resilient.
But you think the Cavs
are going to run away?
The Cavs.
You think the Mavs
are going to run away
with this series?
But obviously, that's not it.
So, Chad, I'm asking you too as well.
Do you think the Mavs
still have a shot winning the
series, or will the young
Oklahoma team
shock the world? Not if Luke
and Kyrie don't play better than what they played
the first four games. I'm
surprised that it's 2-2 considering
how poorly Luke and Kyrie played
overall. Now, Kyrie put together
a couple of second halves, but overall,
now he's playing some pretty good defense.
Give him credit for that.
But Luka have been wildly inefficient, but yes, they can,
they can win this series, but they're going to have to play better.
And without them playing better, I don't, I don't see them.
And plus you got to make your free throws.
They shot just as many free throws as the OKC.
The difference was OKC missed two out of 22.
The other team missed 12 out of 21.
So when you miss that, when you miss that many free throws,
especially the games are so close because these are two, I believe,
evenly matched ball clubs.
But you've got to find a way.
You've got to find a way.
Your two guns have got to find ways to play well.
But give OKC credit because, like I said,
they could have easily run and hide.
Right.
They didn't.
They fought.
They scrapped.
And when they got the lead, you see what happened.
The Mavs started turning the ball over.
Right.
Luka's trying to get into a rhythm.
He's taking unnecessary shots.
He's turning the ball over, and they're getting run out.
OKC, they found a way to stay close to the
ball game. And then the last
clutch time, Shea took the game over.
But they had a big shot. Louie Doerr hit a
big three. Chet Holmgren hit a big three.
But Louie Doerr, excuse me,
Shea Gill just took the ball game over.
And that's why they're going back to OKC, tied
2-2. The Celtics beat the Cavs
minus Donovan Mitchell, 109-102.
Jalen Brown had 27 points, 8 rebounds.
He was 2-3 from the 3.
Jason Tatum had 33 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists.
Put the Cavs on the brink of elimination.
And the Celtics are very close, one game away from advancing back to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Jason Taylor played well.
They got contribution from Jalen Brown.
Drew Holliday played extremely well.
And they were able to beat the Cavs, minus Donovan Mitchell.
And you see Darius Garland played much better.
I think he defers too much when Donovan Mitchell is in the game.
Because he had his best game of the series all
for naught. It was a losing effort.
But the Celtics go on the road.
Now they go back home with a chance
to clinch and get some much needed
rest and say, okay, Nick's in
Pacers. You guys fight it out.
We're at home. He'd be picked up
ready for whoever wins.
It's unfortunate for the Cavs.
Obviously, Donovan Mitchell didn't play.
Darius Garland played much better.
And now there's no pressure on you.
You have to take the shots.
You have to take the shots that you would be reluctant to take,
allowing Donovan Mitchell to somewhat take over games
and take some of those opportunities from you.
Now, it's funny that Donovan Mitchell didn't play,
but the scoreline was closer this game as opposed
to when both of them played
the previous game.
It's weird how the game of basketball works.
Obviously, I understand it's a game of runs.
It's a game of rhythm and
consistency from certain players.
But it's funny how your superstar
doesn't play, but the ending
of the game is much closer when everybody somewhat played for the Cavs on their end.
Listen, with Jalen Brown and Donovan Mitchell, I mean, Donovan Mitchell, with Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum playing the way they're playing, ain't nobody beating them right now, especially when they're playing efficient. And when Derek White, when he finally gets it rolling again, like
I saw him play against the Heat and be very efficient
from the field, which he hasn't been since
that Heat series,
they might
be the one to be holding that trophy
at the end of the season, coming out
to East. Well, you know Jason Tatum and Jalen
Brown, they're going to have to give you, and they
probably average about 53
points between the two of them, if I'm not mistaken.
They gave you 60 to 19
rebounds, and that's what you have to have
from those guys. But you're absolutely right. You're
going to need Holiday. You're going to need Derek White.
You're going to need that third option. And
as long as they get the third option contributing,
they're going to be just fine. Now, I might remind
you that Christoph Rezingas
hasn't played in this series.
He's recovering from that strained calf.
And so, you know, you got 33, 11 of 25.
Jason Taylor played 45 minutes.
Holliday played 43 minutes, gave you 16, 7, and 5.
Derek White didn't play particularly well.
He was 106, 104.
He had five points.
Jason Taylor, excuse me, Jalen Brown played 34 minutes, 9 of 15, 2 of 3.
He's been very efficient in the series.
27 points.
Peyton Pritchard, another guy that comes off the bench,
reminds you a lot of T.J. McConnell, going to give you great hustle plays,
going to knock down shots.
He's going to be a pest up and down the court.
He was 3 of 5, 3 of 4 from 3.
He had 11 points.
Luke Cornett had 9 points, and Howitzer came off the bench.
He only had 2 points. But they got production from where they needed it,
although Derek White and Al Horford didn't give them a whole lot of points.
The big guns played well, and then you get Holiday chipping in with 16
and Braden Pritchett chipping in with 11.
The Celtics, the question is what Celtic team is going to show up.
You never know from game to game what's going to happen.
They were 12 or 32 from the three-point line, 37%.
You can live with that.
The head coach, Joe Mazzulla,
probably wants them to get up somewhere around 40 to 45 threes.
Want to try to make somewhere between 15 and 23.
You look at the Cavaliers.
They got 30 points from Darius Garland, 12 to 27, 4-13.
Evan Mobley gave you 19.
Karris LeBert, who's in the
starting lineup because Donovan Mitchell was out,
he gave you 19. Mike Spruce gave
you 15. I mean, they played
really well. I mean, to think
the game would be this close, minus
Donovan Mitchell, I probably didn't see that
coming. And probably the Celtics
probably let down just a little bit because they
know one of the high-powered guys from the opposing
team was out.
Well, you know, the funny thing about it, if
Donovan Mitchell is out with a calf strain,
there's no way he's going to be able to
play the following week.
The following game.
So, it's safe to say,
obviously, I'm assuming
the Celtics are going to move on
and whoever the winner out of
the Pacers and the Knicks
series, what are the chances
if the Pacers win
the series, what are the chances
if the Knicks win the series, what chances
do they have against the Celtics?
I think
Pacers
for me
because offensively, they can get up and down in the bench. Pacers for me because
offensively,
they can get up and down in the bench.
The problem with the Knicks is
that they have no depth.
They're already without
Julius Ramblin. They're already without Robinson.
I was reading today he had ankle surgery.
You don't know how long, maybe
Bogdanovich is going to come back. I don't know
about that. And you're dealing with OG Ananobis hamstring.
So you're down four starters and you only played,
I think they only played seven guys.
They played a lot of guys.
They emptied their bench because they were down by as many as 43 points.
But when you start shortening your bench as much as the Knicks will have to
shorten their bench and you ask the guys to play as many minutes as you're asking them to play.
I just don't see how the Knicks could really pose a problem.
Now, if Jalen Brown goes crazy, which he's more than capable of doing,
Devin Chinzo, Josh Hart, you know, they didn't have their best games last game.
But if they play kind of like they played in game, what was that,
game three, game two?
Yeah.
They got a chance.
They got a chance.
But I still would like the Pacers because I think they can get up and down.
They're going to run.
They can make shots.
The question is Tyrese Halliburton.
You see when he plays well, the Indiana offense looks really, really good.
And he needs to play well.
He can't be afraid to shoot the shot.
Siakam needs to play better.
He didn't need to do much yesterday. I think he only attempted
like five or six shots yesterday.
But I would like the Pacers.
I'm not saying either team could beat the Knicks.
I mean, beat the Celtics.
But I would like the Pacers in the series
more so than I would like the Knicks.
Now, it's time for our first
segment of the day,
and it is a newscast.
Drafting Bronny LeBron James Jr.
doesn't guarantee you his dad, LeBron James.
Rich Paul has made an effort to play down the idea that LeBron James would be a package deal
with his son, Bronny, this offseason.
Ryan Windhorst said, Rich Paul has
in recent months indicated behind
the scenes that selecting Bronny
James doesn't guarantee LeBron
will sign with that team.
Look.
Yeah, it does.
Yeah, maybe in two, three years.
No, absolutely not. LeBron doesn't want to play
two, three more years. Yes, he does. LeBron doesn't want to play two, three more years.
Yes, he does.
LeBron is waiting for this opportunity for his son to get drafted.
Yes.
And I think it's going to be a package deal wherever Bronny goes.
You want to bet?
Yeah.
I mean, the writing is on the wall.
No, it ain't.
The writing is on the wall.
They're writing in Mandarin Chinese and I can't read that.
Listen, LeBron James has played this long and had an illustrious career to continue his reign at the top until his son reached.
Because his dream as a father training his son would be to always at one point play with his son on the NBA team.
Now, wherever that NBA team is that Bronny goes to, I guarantee you LeBron goes as well.
Not this year.
Not next year.
Whoa.
I do believe that LeBron wants to play with his son.
Just the mere fact of having your son in the NBA while you're still playing isn't a feat in and of itself.
Now, to have a King Griffey Jr. situation where Senior plays with Junior.
Right.
But see, that was a special situation. If I'm not mistaken,
I think the Rangers granted him
his release so he could go
play with the Mariners, so he could play
with his son. I think the thing
and the difference is
Senior was not playing
as well as LeBron Senior
playing in basketball. So it was a lot
easier. Do I believe at some point in time before LeBron James leave the NBA. Right. So it was a lot easier. Easier. Right.
Do I believe at some
point in time before
LeBron James will leave
the NBA he'll play with
his son?
Yes, I do.
I just don't believe
it's next year.
I don't think it'll
take that long.
I don't think it'll
take that long.
Obviously, LeBron is
very strategic in all
that he does.
Yeah.
Mav, the team, Rich
Paul, they're all very
strategic and methodical
in everything that they
do.
I think we think a
different way on how things would happen.
Maybe LeBron doesn't want to play two or three more years just to be able to play with his son.
And I think he has the power and the cachet to make it happen.
How they're going to make it happen, we obviously don't know.
They know and they have a plan.
The plan has been set in place for many, many of years.
This is just not something
that just happened.
And I think the plan
is going to play out
that he's going to play
with LeBron probably this year.
I don't want to say guarantee.
I think it's going to happen
sooner than we think.
See, here's the issue also.
Is Bronny ready to play
in the NBA?
Just because you get drafted, you might have to go to the G League.
Okay, that's a good one.
So this is what I'm thinking.
LeBron James, look, he's going to be involved with the coach.
He's going to be involved with the Lakers with Frigg.
I don't believe LeBron would be in a situation where he's like,
okay, I like this guy, I like this guy, I like said guy.
And Frigg said, I want this guy with this guy.
And then all of a sudden, he goes sign and
plays with his son. I don't believe that's going to happen
this year. Do I believe before
LeBron James leaves the NBA
that he plays with his son?
Absolutely. Because the likelihood
of that happening again isn't
very good. Unless somebody
had a child while they were in high school.
Because the likelihood
of somebody playing
this long again,
though, Ojo,
because think about it.
Yeah, there are a lot of guys
that have kids.
Right.
And they might have a kid
that's five or six years old.
But what's the likelihood
of them playing
another 15 years,
another 16 years
till the kid is old enough
to reach this level?
Right.
It just so happens to be
that LeBron was extremely blessed
that he was able
to play. And I think he had
Bronny in
2004, 2005,
which allowed
him. Because I think
Bronny is like 19.
04. So you see?
So that allowed him. Now LeBron came in the league
in 2003.
So he has a kid one year into his career, and now here we are two decades later. That's him. Now, LeBron came in the league in 2003. Right. So he has a kid one year into his career,
and now here we are two decades later.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
So the likelihood of that happening
is probably you won't see it again.
You don't see it very often.
That's why I don't think it would take that long.
I mean, I understand what you're saying.
And I think if LeBron,
I think because of,
I'm not going to say favoritism
in general, but because
it's LeBron's son, I think certain
things will be put in place to where
it's accelerated
a little bit more as opposed to him having
to go to G League as far as development goes.
I think he'll be on the NBA team.
I think he'll be on the NBA squad. I think he'll be on the NBA squad.
You think he'll get drafted in the first round?
From my understanding, based
on what's coming out of college,
I believe so.
I believe so.
For the simple fact that I think behind
closed doors,
there might be rumblings
that wherever Bronny goes,
there's a chance LeBron comes
there as well. And then you know what happens
if you get even a 39-year-old LeBron
on your team? You know what it does for
not just your city, not just for your franchise,
but to me, it
damn near puts you in contention, even though
he's not the same LeBron of old.
I just don't see it happening.
You look at LeBron numbers.
He was 25, seven rebounds, eight assists, playing at an extremely high level.
Right.
And I just don't see him leaving the Lakers.
Now, do I see him leaving the Lakers?
Now, the question is, I believe he's going to opt out of that contract.
Does he sign a two plus one, two years for an option for a third?
Now that makes it a lot easier for him to determine
because I can opt out of the contract and I can go be a free agency
and I don't mess up your cap situation signing me
because my son is on your roster.
So I believe that's more likely to happen, two years plus an option.
Because I think LeBron believes in his heart of hearts that he said it,
I can play as long as I want to.
As long as my mind.
As long as my body is healthy.
Knock on wood, his body stays healthy.
He seems really engaged.
He loves the game of basketball.
He loves everything about it.
He loves the prep work.
He loves the meeting.
He loves to shoot around.
He loves being around the guys.
And obviously, he loves the game.
And so that goes in because you're always going to love the game.
But the question is, can your body hold up and your mind?
Right.
The meetings drove me away.
I didn't want to meet anymore.
I got tired.
I had heard out.
I mean, for him to still enjoy it like that, being in media, how many curvages, how many
times you've been running a pin pin down or flare or one high
or all that other stuff.
He's heard it all.
Right.
He knows it.
And he still gets excited
to get up and to do it
over and over and over and over again.
That's what makes you great.
Yep.
Bronny looked good today.
He played really, I mean,
I saw him, I think he went
like a whole minute.
I think they said he was 19 or 25
from the three.
Yeah, I saw the Twitter. He think they said he was 19 or 25. By three, yeah.
He had a 40 and a half inch vertical.
It was pretty impressive.
It was pretty impressive.
Wait, what was the vertical again?
40 and a half.
But they do running jump.
They don't do it like the NFL.
Oh, just standing?
Yeah, NFL standing jump.
Yeah.
The NBA, they allow you to get running jump. So what was your vertical, you think?
The highest I've ever done was like 38 and a half.
Okay, okay.
I think I'm not mistaken, if I remember correctly,
because my vertical jump has been one of my best assets
that I had due to my DNA.
I think it might have been a 46, 46, 45,
something like that.
Something like that.
You did that in the combine? Huh. You did that in the combine?
Huh? You did it in the combine? Nah, I did
that at USC, at USC Pro Day.
Yeah, I did. Yeah, I think
it might have been a 46. I think Gerald Sensabaugh has the
highest in combine history.
He had a 46. Gerald Sensabaugh.
Yeah, that's what they compared me to, too.
Gerald, I ain't here.
I ain't know who he was.
I'm comparing you to Pinocchio

NBA, a lot of your running starting to jump.
Because you're going to be doing a lot of that in the NBA.
You're going to be a lot of doing running, jumping.
So, okay, to each his own.

in small ways. Three or four days a week, I would buy two cups of banana pudding,
but the price has gone up. So now I only buy one. The demand curve in action. And that's just one of the things we'll be covering on Everybody's Business from Bloomberg Businessweek. I'm Max
Chavkin. And I'm Stacey Vanek-Smith. Every Friday, we will be diving into the biggest stories in
business, taking a look at what's going on, why it matters, and how it shows up in our everyday lives.
But guests like Business Week editor Brad Stone,
sports reporter Randall Williams,
and consumer spending expert Amanda Mull
will take you inside the boardrooms,
the backrooms,
even the signal chats that make our economy tick.

In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood,
CEO of Tubi, for a conversation
that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning
so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel
seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there's so many stories out there. And
if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that
we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media,
marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space
and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company

with his lovely wife Savannah
at the Celtics-Cavs game
where he was given
a standing ovation
by the hometown crowd.
Do you think LeBron
would go back to Cleveland?
If you wanted to write a story,
if you wanted to write a story and finish it the right way, you wanted to write a story and finish it the right way as LeBron James, you get drafted,
you're from Ohio, you get drafted to Cleveland, you leave Cleveland, you go to Miami, you go back
to Cleveland, you go from Cleveland to LA, and you want to finish your story the right way
the right way
and close that book and just be complete
well the one way to ensure that
is to draft Ronnie
bingo, there you go
and there goes your happy ending
and I think
it would be dope, yeah who's to say
Ronnie doesn't go to LA
well I don't think they'll take a do to L.A.? Well, I don't think
they'll take a first...
Do they have a first-round pick?
I don't know if they take him
in the first round.
Most reports are saying
second-round pick.
But like you said,
there's not a whole lot of...
not a whole lot of beat
at the top of the draft.
Right, right, right.
So it's not like,
oh, man, I got to have this guy.
Oh, I got to have that guy.
So no consensus at all
in this draft at all?
No, no. That's why I say the chances of him maybe going to L.A., I got to have this guy. Oh, I got to have that guy. So no consensus at all in this draft? No.
No.
That's why I say the chances of him maybe going to L.A.,
maybe going to Cleveland,
but for some reason,
I know Rich Paul,
I know LeBron.
Everything is already set in stone.
It's set in stone,
and there's a chance.
If he doesn't go to L.A.,
wherever LeBron he goes,
I'm telling you,
LeBron might be that issue.
I was very happy to see the ovation that he got. I'm glad
they let bygones be bygones.
Oh, right then? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Bron came
back. He brought him a championship.
Went to the NBA finals
all four years he was back there.
I think the thing is, and for me,
he fulfilled his obligation. He never asked
to be traded.
He stayed there for seven years.
He went to Miami for four years, came back for four years,
and now he's been in L.A.
And so I don't think anybody can be upset with LeBron.
I don't think Miami can be upset with it
because he did bring two titles in four years.
I don't think L.A. can be upset with it
because what's the likelihood?
Because think about they hadn't won a title.
They hadn't even been to the Western Conference Finals
since Kobe last won the title in, what, 2010, 2011.
Right.
So, 2010, 2010.
Because 2011, they got swept in the first round by Dallas.
People don't realize that.
They swept Lakers, who were the defending champions.
With Dirk?
Yep, with Dirk, Jason Kidd, all those guys, Tyson Chandler.
I think Sean Merrill was on that squad.
So the likelihood, and everybody's like, oh, LeBron this, LeBron that.
But you got to think about where you were before LeBron got there.
Yeah.
You weren't making the playoffs.
You weren't even close to making the playoffs.
I forget.
There's a reason why you kept getting D'Angelo Russell with the second pick of the draft.
There's a reason why you got Lonzo Ball with the second pick of the draft. There's a reason why you got Lonzo Ball with the second pick of the draft.
There's a reason why you got Julius Randle with a top 10 pick.
Y'all need to realize, Laker Nation, what you were before LeBron.
You didn't have this kind of hope.
I understand that you used the championship, but at the end of the day,
there was no sun on the horizon before LeBron came there.
Do they
give LeBron credit
for the
chip that he did bring?
It didn't count?
LeBron is never going to... Look.
LeBron
brought two chips, but he's
never been loved in Miami like D. Wade.
It's different. It's different.
Right.
It's different.
Kevin Durant goes to Golden State.
He wins them two titles.
He helped win them two titles.
He's a two-time finals MVP.
But they didn't draft him.
Miami drafted D-Wade.
The Golden State Warriors drafted Steph.
They drafted Klay.
They drafted Draymond.
So there's an affinity for guys that we drafted.
Right.
That we watched them.
You see, Colby, see, Magic came there.
Right.
Magic came right out of college as a 20-year-old,
won him a title in rookie season.
Colby came to L.A. as a 17-year-old kid.
That's right.
They watch him get mad. They watch-old kid. They watch him get
married. They watch him have kids. They watch him
turn into a man. They watch him turn into
one of the top players in NBA history.
They feel a certain kind of love
and an affinity for Kobe
because he's ours.
That's why
guys that come,
Magic, people,
if you go ask them, people will always
say Magic and Kobe
are the two best Lakers because those are
the guys, not even Jerry West,
LJ Baylor, but I'm saying Kobe and Magic
one, two, is Lakers
because Shaq came from Orlando,
Kareem came from Milwaukee.
Ah.
So they don't consider them as one of their own.
They do because Kareem, people don't realize Kareem came from Milwaukee. Ah. So they don't consider him as one of their own.
They do because Kareem,
people don't realize Kareem played in L.A.
longer than he played,
longer than he played.
I think he played seven years in Milwaukee.
I think 76, if I'm not mistaken,
was his first year in L.A.
If I'm not mistaken, I think it was 76.
Might have been 75.
He won like two MVPs as soon as he got there
and then won a third one
in the 79-80 season.
But that's just the way it is.
Sometimes it's like that
in basketball.
Yeah, we appreciate
what you've done,
but...
It ain't the same.
Kobe, man, and
Magic, and James
Worthy, those are the guys
that were like,
they're ours.
We watched them come and go.
John Fury,
Tyson Fury's dad,
if I'm not mistaken, headbutted
a
member of the opponent,
Alexander Yusik's team,
busting himself open in the process
ahead of his son Tyson's undisputed championship fight
with Yusik this coming Saturday.
John is generally good to get some spotlight
on himself ahead of his son's fight.
With arguably Tyson's greatest, biggest fight ever,
John went above and beyond.
What you think?
Man, buddy, he tripping.
Well, you know, man.
No, he got a terrible hitting.
Yeah, and he taking the focus,
he taking the focus off of
what's important.
Who's going to be in the ring.
Right.
And now you're adding
even more pressure
on Fury.
Mm-hmm.
Like, he ain't going against
no, no, no,
just no anybody.
Oh, no, no.
You look at Mike.
Especially the way
he looked against Ngannou.
Did I say it the right way?
Who that?
Yeah, but see,
he took that fight.
He didn't take that fight serious.
Oh, no.
What was that?
Oh.
He took it serious. You know what you mean? He ain't taking it serious. Man, please. Man. You think he took that fight serious. Oh, no. What was that? Oh, he took it serious.
What do you mean he didn't take it serious?
Man, please.
You think he took that fight serious?
Yeah, he took it serious.
No, Anthony Joshua took it serious.
No.
Fury took that fight serious,
and I think he was just surprised
that Francis had gotten that good
and that polished in such a short amount of time
and being able to transition from MMA to boxing.
And when he got in the ring,
I'm looking like,
what the hell?
Who the hell he been training with?
Did you see Ngannou against Joshua
when someone took it serious?
Yeah.
Two different styles.
There's levels to fighting.
Right.
You see the feint.
And you see every time,
because every time he feint,
what did Ngannou do?
He would drop. Yeah. He'd do this. And so every time, because every time he faint, what is he going to do? He would drop.
Yeah.
He'd do this.
And so,
he kept putting it out there.
He kept putting it out there.
Oh, that's what you're going to do?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, listen.
It's going to be a good one.
It's going to be a great fight
because both of these guys
are boxers.
Yeah.
There's a difference
between a boxer and a fighter.
And a slugger, too.
Yeah, yeah.
We know the brown bomber, Deontay Wilder.
He got one punch. Slugger.
He's looking
like this is right. I mean, he ain't jabbing
to do anything. He's like right
and just try to... He's not like Lenny Lewis.
Lenny Lewis used his jab
to do damage.
Ernie Shaver.
Larry Holmes.
Vladimir Klitschko.
They used their jab to do damage.
It wasn't just a range finder.
It was to do damage.
And boom.
Brown Bomber, he just tried to unload.
So Tyson Fury said, okay, I'm just going to time it up.
Lean on you. Get your time.
Take your legs.
And that's it. But I think this is going to
be a really good fight here. Tyson
Fury and Alexander Yusik, because
both guys can box. It's going to
be interesting to see.
This is the first time
that Fury's going
to be in there with somebody. Now, he's going to be
a massive of a man,
but somebody that has
a very similar skill set.
Good footwork.
Very good ring IQ.
He can box in the pocket.
He can fight at distance.
He can fight mid-range.
So it's going to be
very interesting
on how they're able
to read each other out,
gather information,
process it round by round,
try to figure each other out. And I think
it's going to get really interesting once
it gets about round six or seven
and you're a little bit tired. You can't be on your
bicycle. You can't have as much movement.
You have to actually sit there and fight.
I think that's where it's going to become interesting. That's one thing I like
about the heavyweights.
They ain't really getting on no bicycle.
Hey,
they got to save that in.
Oh, yeah.
Those are huge.
Man, you're talking about 52, 60.
Right.
These are what we call super heavyweights.
Man, you ain't getting on no bystander.
Not really.
But it's funny.
Yeah, but the funny thing when you think about it
is you think about their boxing prowess
and their footwork is like that of a lightweight almost.
Yeah.
They move, the footwork, the movement,
the being able to get in
and get out. Defense.
Very good defense.
They know how to move.
Minimal movement. Minimal movement, but
conserve energy while moving.
You and I, we all
we all
know how to play. They're going to know how to lean.
They know how to do
all that
but the thing is
about the really good boxers
they know they can
have a sense
of like
they can look over there
oh he tired
look how he breathing
look how
that's why you gotta
have that poker face
the whole time
your mannerisms
you gotta be relaxed
the whole time
you have to have
that poker face
and show nothing
even if you get hit clean
and I've learned this from a few times.
I've been in there. People telling me,
man, somebody can hit you with a good shot and you could be hurt.
You cannot
show any sign of
weakness at any point because
it's like sharks seeing blood in the water.
Yeah. Hit me. Ow!
Hey, man, I used
to get tired. Hey, son, don't bend over.
Hey, ain't no oxygen out here.
I see rabbits.
I see cats.
I see snakes.
Ain't no oxygen out here.
Who told you that lie?
Ain't no oxygen out there.
Ain't no oxygen out there.
You know what?
Guess what?
It's oxygen even lower because I've been laid out.
Ocho, there's a report
that Justin Fields
had a toxic relationship
with Nick Foles
in the Chicago locker room.
According to reports,
the relationship between Foles and Fields
basically reached rock bottom
at the situation where Foles
was trying to teach something to Fields
only to turn around and realize
that Fields wasn't paying attention
to anything Foles was saying.
According to report,
Foles and Phil could not stand each other.
There ain't nothing wrong with that.
Listen, you,
in the chat, in the NFL,
listen, as much as you want
to get along with everybody, think about where you work.
If you work in the corporate world, or wherever
you work, you don't get along with
every person that's there.
That man isn't there to take your job.
They are there to compete.
Yeah, they are.
You are there to compete.
Everybody's not going to get along on the same team.
That's just the nature of the business at times.
I'm better than you.
Why are you sitting here trying to teach me?
Younger player, listen to an older veteran who's been somewhat,
not somewhat, not really, I don't want to call him a journeyman,
but he played on a few different teams.
He has a Super Bowl win.
So I think that's someone you would want to listen to
and confide in, especially when it comes
to playing a position of quarterback
because he knows what it takes to win
because he has won before.
After taking over for
Carson Wentz when he got hurt.
But listen, at times you're just not going to like people. after taking over for Carson Wentz when he got hurt. Yeah. You know?
But listen, at times, you're just not going to like people.
It's just the way it is.
And I think it's unfortunate that it came down to this.
I think it's unfortunate that it got out now that Justin Fields is gone and he's in Pittsburgh.
So why now?
Yeah.
Why now?
It wasn't an issue then.
Why make it an issue now?
It wasn't an issue, but I'm disappointed that it got out
because it makes Justin feel like he's uncoachable.
Like he's unwilling to listen to someone
that's trying to help.
And you know, look,
when I was in there,
and somebody could give me some valuable information,
the mistake that I made
is that I listened to the wrong person
and he gave me the wrong route.
And I went there red at full speed
and coach looked at me like I was a damn fool.
But that's my fault.
Right.
That's my fault.
I think the thing is,
Ocho, for me,
is that when I,
I've always said that
if I ever got in a situation,
I say,
when I make the team next year,
someone ask me something,
I'm going to be able
to give them
the real information
because I'm just,
I look at it, Ocho.
You can't beat me.
I'm going to teach you
everything you know,
not everything I know.
Right.
So you're never going to be able
to get beat this job. And I understand, like, when Ozzie made the move to teach you everything you know, not everything I know. So you're never going to be able to beat this job. And I
understand when Ozzy made the move
to move on to Todd Heath, he had to get
me up out of there. Todd Heath was never going to be able to beat me up
on that job. Because I knew too much.
I knew all the tricks of the trade.
I knew how to get open, no matter
what the situation was. But my job
was to make sure, and to Rook's
credit, he hung on everything
that I said. So I tried to make sure. And to Rook's credit, he hung on everything that I said. So I tried to make sure
that the locker,
the tight end room
was better when I left
than when I found it.
Same way with Denver.
I take it as an elder
statesman, Ocho.
That's my job.
Right.
To pass that information down
because I had some guys
that really helped me.
In the receiver room,
Mark Jackson,
I backed him up. He helped me immensely. the receiver room, Mark Jackson, I backed him up.
He helped me immensely.
Vance Johnson,
those guys really,
really helped me
when I was there.
And so I really appreciated
the older guys
really helping me
to try to get me up to speed
because they knew
if something happened to them,
I'm going to have to go in and play.
Now what good is that?
You don't help me out
and I got to go in and play
and I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
That's a negative reflection on you.
But I agree with you, Ocho.
I don't like that this got out
because at the end of the day,
you know who he's going to look negative on.
Yeah.
Because you got a veteran quarterback
that's played a number of years in the league.
And like you say,
he did win the Super Bowl.
He did go to a Pro Bowl.
He once had a season which he threw 27 touchdowns
with two interceptions.
So it's like, man, he tried to help Justin Fields,
and Justin Fields doesn't, he's uncoachable.
You can't help it.
And it's so funny.
It's always the black quarterbacks
where stuff like this comes out.
You think it only happens with them?
I guarantee you it definitely doesn't.
I think when Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers were there,
I'm sure there was some of the same
issues.
I think it happens
like that when you have two players at a certain position
and you understand
that if you're not playing well, the person that's
trying to help and coach you could eventually
be taking your job if you don't play up
the par.
It is what it is.
It's no secret that Aaron Rodgers is a big fan of New York Jets offensive coordinator
Nathaniel Hackett other than the organization
may not feel the same according
to SNY
the Jets reported reportedly
consider bringing aboard
someone above Hackett's head
to oh okay above Hackett
to run the offense there are legitimate concerns with Hackett's ability to, oh, okay, above Hackett to run the offense. There are
legitimate concerns with Hackett's
ability to be successful to run things.
It almost feels like the Jets are putting
so much faith in Rodgers' ability
to correct Hackett's wrongdoing.
I don't like that.
But Nathaniel Hackett has always had some
type of issues and problems
from an offensive standpoint as a coordinator.
Actually, before he even got here.
Wasn't there an issue when he was winning?
Never. He was the head coach.
He got the job.
Issues in Denver. Wait, where was he before Denver?
He was the offensive coordinator at Green Bay, but he didn't call no plays.
And see, what happened was is that Aaron Rodgers won those back-to-back MVP.
Look, I mean, how much credit do we actually give the offensive coordinator to coach Tom Brady?
Because look what they didn't have, Brady, how they look.
Exactly.
So now we understand that not much coaching goes on once you're in that structured environment.
It's all X's and O's.
So it's up to you to execute those X's and O's once you're in between those lines.
Now you understand
why Coach gets fired
because there's certain players
and player personnel
that aren't able to live up
to the expectations
that are expected from the person
that's doing the play calling.
I believe Nathaniel Hackett
got that job in Denver
because
they believed he could deliver Aaron Rodgers. Nathaniel Hackett got that job in Denver because he believed
they believed
he could deliver
Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers
got the job
and went back
to Green Bay
he got the job
in the Jets
because Aaron Rodgers
comes to the game
that's some great
ball to have
it is
it is
so that's like
if you're Josh McDaniels you should always be able to get a job no matter what obviously when Brady that's some great ball to have. It is. It is. So that's like,
if you're Josh McDaniels,
you should always be able to get a job no matter what.
Obviously when Brady was playing.
Yeah.
Which is why he was able to
turn down the job in Indy
and still get an opportunity
in Oakland,
excuse me,
Las Vegas now.
That's why.
Because of the individual
that you were attached to
as to being coached and you look at
look at what happened every year he goes one year halfway through the next year he gets fired yeah
two jobs yeah two head coach jobs look at him when he was a head when he was the offensive
coordinator of the ram they had the worst offensive football now he goes back to new
england he's with tom brady he wins superbowls now he gives the job New England. He's with Tom Brady. He wins Super Bowls. Now, he gets the job at the Colts.
He's like, nah.
He sends them a fax saying, nah, I'm good.
I'm turning it down.
Goes back to New England, wins some more.
Gets the job at Las Vegas.
Look at him.
Quarterback always saves the day,
which is why the quarterbacks make the big money.
Okay.
Now it's time
for our favorite segment.
It's late enough.
I know it's late at night,
don't you?
And,
and,
and,
and,
and,
and,

Yeah.
I don't have, I don't even know, I ain't got my hat with me, man.
Oh, no, what are you talking about?
You ain't got your fake hat on.
I ain't got my hat with me, man.
Okay.
Y'all stay with me.
Okay, stay with the chat.
Stay with the chat.
Stay with it.
First word.
These are easy words. Yeah, you are. Stay with the chat. Stay with it. First word. Easy.
These are easy words.
Yeah, you always say that.
Yeah, easy words.
Yeah, you always say that.
We'll give you easy words.
Yeah.
Necessary.
It is necessary when you go on the road
to bring your equipment
so we can film Nightcap accordingly.
Necessary.
Well, before we start,
like, I don't have my equipment
and we're filming together
because Rael...
Ain't no Rael.
No, I'm telling you.
I'm not telling you.
Rael, she is my assistant.
You know, I told...
No, for real.
You have a team of people.
I wanted to hire a team of people.
Chat, y'all stay with me.
I wanted to hire a team of people
so I can function the way
Shannon functions
where he doesn't have to do anything.
He can just focus on what he needs to do and everybody else takes care of
everything. You don't get that
privilege. Yeah, but if she want to be a part
of Nightcap and what I got going on, then you
insert yourself in my business. So therefore,
I gave her a title. I'm paying her.
How do you pay her?
$20.
You should have left all that.
Yeah, so. Necessary. I'm ready. You ready? Yes all that. Yeah, so.
Necessary, I'm ready.
You ready?
Yes, necessary.
Necessary.
N-E-C-E-S-S-A-R-Y.
Yeah, I got enough room to dance, too.
Yeah, okay.
Good.
Chat this for y'all.
Chat.
Huh?
I like to thank Nehemiah.
The hotel that we're staying at has great accommodations.
Oh, accommodations.
And I think we did this word already,
and I missed it last time
if I'm not mistaken.
Right?
So I ain't going to miss it twice.
There's one thing about it.
I'm not going to miss it twice
because it's A-C-C-O-M-M.
Oh, shit.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hold on, stay with me, Chad, man.
Accommodations.
Accommo.
Accommodations.
O.
A, double C, O.
D.
A.
Mm-hmm.
T, I, O, and S.
No. No! A. A T-I-O-N-S No No
A
Double C
I said O
D
Double M
I said double M in the first
O
D-A-T-I-O-N
Is that not what I said?
No
It's not? No.
It's not?
No.
We one for one.
This is the easy one.
This is the easiest word.
Oh, wait a minute.
I sounded it out and all.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
The way you sounded it out,
the way you spelled it out.
Right, okay.
Let me lock in.
Let me lock in.
Let me focus.
Let me focus.
Discipline.
Discipline.
This is something I've always had. Discipline. Especially when it comes to spending money. I've always had discipline. Discipline. This is something I've always had.
Discipline.
Especially when it comes to spending money.
I've always had discipline.
That's why I still got
all my goddamn money.
Discipline.
D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E.
Discipline.
Correct.
It's something I've always had.
Something I will continue
to have.
Discipline.
That's very good. Discipline. Deseret. That's very good.
Discipline.
Word number four.
Ambivalent.
Who?
Ambivalent.
Ambivalent.
Ambivalent.
Shit.
Ambivalent. Shit. Ambivalent.
Yeah.
Can you use it in a sentence, please?
I'm ambivalent. You might want to give me another word.
I don't know.
I'm ambivalent when it comes to accommodations.
Ambivalent.
Am.
Viv.
So I'm sounding it out.
Go ahead.
Based on how I was sounding it out, Chad, y'all stay with me now.
Ambivalent.
I'm assuming A-M.
Mm-hmm.
B-I-V.
Mm-hmm.
I-E-L-E-N-T.
Close.
A-B-A-M-B-I-B-A-L-E-N-T Oh, it's the A.
Yes.
The A and the E.
That threw me off.
This is an easy one here.
You've been saying
No, no, this is an easy one here.
You said everything easy.
Mischievous.
Chad Ochocinco Johnson was mischievous as a child.
Is mischievous or mischievous?
Either way is correct.
Mischievous.
Since he said I was mischievous as a child, I should know how to spell this. And I'm going to say this with such great confidence
as if this is
the State of the Union address.
Mischievous.
M-I-S
C-H-E
V-I-O-U-S
Close.
God!
Come on, man! M-I-S C-H-S. Close. God, come on, man.
M-I-S-C-H-I-E-V-O-U-S.
Like, I went to school.
People are going to think I don't know how to spell.
How about this one?
The last word is a little bit more difficult.
I got y'all, Chad.
I got this right here.
I promise you, if I don't get this word right,
I won't sleep with Rell ever again until August. I promise you, if I don't get this word right, I won't sleep with Rell ever
again until August.
I promise you she won't get it until August.
The word is endophyte.
What?
Endophyte is
bacteria or fungus that
live within a plant.
Endophyte.
Endo fight Endo
Endo fight
Endo fight
Endo fight
Oh shit boy
Damn
You know 87% of relationships
Is relying on sex huh
Okay of a relationship is relying on sex, huh? Mm-hmm. Okay.
So I got to get this right.
I got to get this right because I don't want to be in a situation...
I hope you store it up.
Yeah, yeah.
I hope you've been at it
for the last three months.
Yeah, I...
Okay.
Endophyte.
Endophyte. Endophyte.
This is tough.
Because, you know, where we are now, because of technology, I could lose my woman to the rose toy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So this is important.
But you can watch.
Nah, I can't.
I can't do that.
I can't do that.
Endophyte. endophyte endophyte
alright baby
here we go
endophyte
I-N

You the one that made that big with yourself.
I'm sorry, Chad. I mean, listen,
I let y'all down, man. Listen,
even Martin Luther King had a dream.
So did I. And I feel.
And I got you
next. I got you. What's the date?
When we back? Thursday?
Wednesday. I got y'all Wednesday, man.
I apologize, man.
My bad.
My bad.
Made for This Mountain is a podcast that exists to empower listeners to rise above their struggles,
break free from the chains of trauma, and silence the negative voices that have kept them small.
Through raw conversations, real stories, and actionable guidance,
you can learn to face the mountain that is in front of you. You will never be able to change or grow through the thing that you
refuse to identify. The thing that you refuse to say, hey, this is my mountain. This is the
struggle. This is the thing that's in front of me. You can't make that mountain move without
actually diving into that. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to conquer the things
that once felt impossible and step boldly into the best version of yourself to awaken the unstoppable strength that's inside of us all.
So tune into the podcast, focus on your emotional well-being and climb your personal mountain.
Because it's impossible for you to be the most authentic you.
It's impossible for you to love you fully if all you're doing is living to please people.
Your mountain is that.

A lot of times the big economic forces
we hear about on the news
show up in our lives in small ways.
Three or four days a week,
I would buy two cups of banana pudding,
but the price has gone up,
so now I only buy one.
The demand curve in action, and that's just one of the things we'll be covering on Everybody's Business from Bloomberg Businessweek.
I'm Max Chavkin.
And I'm Stacey Vanek-Smith.
Every Friday, we will be diving into the biggest stories in business, taking a look at what's going on, why it matters, and how it shows up in our everyday lives. But guests like Businessweek editor Brad Stone, sports reporter Randall Williams,
and consumer spending expert Amanda Mull will take you inside the boardrooms, the backrooms,
even the signal chats that make our economy tick.
Hey, I want to learn about VeChain. I want to buy some blockchain or whatever it is that they're doing.
So listen to Everybody's Business on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company.
The podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next.
In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary.
We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold,
connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there are so many stories out there,
and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide.
And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets.
Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, Ocho.
Now it's your turn.
Dunk on up.
Here we go.
Dunk on up.
We...
Make sure you can't see.
You ain't finna be cheating.
All right.
Chat.
Dunk on up. Yeah, you... Yeah, yeah. Make sure... right, Chad. Dunk on up.
Yeah, you can.
Yeah, make sure.
Okay, yeah.
Hey, Chad, you can't cheat now
because I'm here.
I can see.
Ash can't cheat.
Can't nobody help him now.
Question number one.
The NFL
was founded on August 20th of what year? The NFL Was founded
On August 20th
Of what year?
The NFL was founded
On August 20th
Of what year?
1920
You got an earpiece in?
There you go with that bullshit.
Hey, excuse me, sir.
Can you, can you, he mic'd up?
Can you communicate?
He got a little earpiece in?
No, he got no earpiece in.
Okay.
I get to say it, you got it.
Make a show.
We both got microphones. I'm trying to figure out, because. The Bigger Show. We did. You're the Gellber.
We both got back from ball.
I'm trying to figure out
because you weren't even here in 1920,
so how do you know?
I only believe.
Do you remember when they had
the 100th anniversary?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Question number two.
Yeah.
There were 18 quarterbacks
who have won the NFL MVP award.
What year did a non-offensive or defensive player win the NFL MVP?
What year?
There are 18 non-quarterbacks who have won NFL MVP award.
Okay.
What year did a non-offensive or defensive player
win NFL MVP?
Oh my God. I know
who it is.
Damn. I'm
with a
1982? Mark Mosley?
Oh, hell
something.
Oh my God.
Oh my God.
Hey, Sid.
No. I'm sorry. I swear to God,
somebody had to brief him on this shit.
Hell no. Hell no.
Hey, I'm logged in.
I'm logged in.
www.shannon.com I'm logged on. www.shannon.com
I'm logged on.
This ain't no dial-up here.
This ain't no dial-up.
This that CG, that Japan guy
is thousand times faster
than 5G. Somebody brief you
on these questions.
Nah.
Nah.
Door busted in like he
housekeeping.
Hey, he open the door.
Talk about housekeeper.
I said, you're supposed to ring the doorbell first.
Hey, somebody in this room is cheating.
I don't know who it is.
What?
But the fact that there are certain questions on here
that you should not know.
I don't care how much.
The reason why I know that,
because it was a strike-shortened season in
1982. Strike happened
in 82, 87,
and then again in 2011. So that
was strike year. Three years the NFL's had
strikes. What does that have to do with
knowing who won the kicker that wasn't an
officer or a defensive player? Because
I... Ocho, I'm telling you, I
used to spend all my time... Nah.
I spent all my time doing the same thing.
Nah. Alright, question number three.
Chatty cheating. I'm telling you, man.
Y'all can see it on your end.
Don't act like Rich Hall, man.
I'm glad we're out here
and we ain't got no monitors because
the chat thought I was cheating because I was getting
the answers. No, but see, someone
briefed you ahead of time
telling you what the question would be.
I ain't been down here with you.
No, I was downstairs smoking.
I ain't been in here. I ain't left my room as soon as we got
back to the room. As a matter of fact, I'm supposed
to have some food. I don't know where it is.
Oh.
All right. Here we go.
Shaq, back to the regularly scheduled
program, in which I still feel
a little funny because the fact that he knows these
answers to these questions, something ain't right.
What NFL franchise
is owned
by the community rather than a
traditional owner or ownership
group? The Green Bay Packers.
Okay, you know what? All right, that don't
count.
That don't count.
I told y'all, I got this at 6G. I'm just saying, that don't count. That one don't count. That's okay.
I told y'all, I got this at six feet.
I'm just saying, that don't count because my daughter,
she don't even know about football.
She only two and she knew that answer. Okay.
Okay, here we go.
What year did the NBA prohibit the drafting of high school players?
So, LeBron was
03
Dwight Howard was 04
So it had to be
We got him
Chat
Kevin Durant
Was the year
We got him Kevin Durant was the year.
We got him.
Kevin Durant.
I'm going to say 07.
It was like 05, 06, 07.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
You can't be trying to give... No, I'm saying 07.
I'm going 07.
07?
Yeah.
07
is absolutely
fucking wrong.
Yeah.
That's what I'm talking about.
See what I told you?
See what I told you?
I told you.
Let's go.
What was it?
Oh, 2005.
Yeah.
2005.
2005.
When was basketball
first introduced
into the Olympics?
What year?
Oh, my gosh.
Is he okay? We got him again.
Ha ha ha!
Ha ha ha!
Let's go!
Let's go!
Ha!
Ha!
1952?
1952.
My database is saying
the answer for the question
or the answer that you are looking for
is 1936.
You are wrong again.
In Berlin?
Huh?
You're wrong.
You know what?
I don't know where it was.
It was in Berlin.
I don't know.
How do you know?
It was in Berlin.
Okay.
That's the German.
That's Jesse Owens Olympics. Okay. you know? It was in Berlin. Okay. That's the Jesse Owens Olympics.
Okay. I got a bonus question for you.
Okay. So I can feel better about myself
against someone. I already got three right, so I'm good.
You got two right. I got three. You got two right.
I got three. I'm going to get another one too. Make it four for
five, four for six. Bonus question.
What is the shape?
Chad, I know y'all don't know this.
What is the shape? Chad, I know y'all don't know this. What is the shape of the American football?
What is the shape?
Pablo?
Who?
What do you mean the shape?
The shape.
What is the shape called?
The shape of the American football, what is it called?
What is the scientific terminology in the name of the shape of the American football called the Duke?
You don't know?
No, I don't.
But I do.
The name of the shape of the football, the Duke, is called the prolate thyroid.
Ah, man.
The prolate thyroid. I'm serious.
You didn't know that?
No, I didn't know that. Oh, I knew that.
Huh? That's my memory bank.
Yeah.
Again, I win.
Well, how'd you win?
You got two right. I got two.
I got two right. I got three. I got the first
three. How many words did I get right? Two. I got two. I got two right. I got three. I got the first three. How many words did I get right?
Two.
I got three.
And, and, and,
I should have got,
man, I knew, I knew, I knew.
You said 2007.
No, you didn't know.
I knew, I knew,
but I knew it was right after,
but I didn't know
it was immediately after.
But that's okay.
I feel good.
I want to give.
I want to give.
I want to give.
How'd you win
and we got the same amount?
No, I got three.
I got three.
Now it's time
for our last segment
and it's a Q&A.
Q&A.
No chill, Gil said.
No invite.
Woo!
With Ocho looking clean.
Hey, you see me, Gil?
Where you at, Gil?
Hey, Gil. See, listen. Listen, a lot of people will look at it, Gil? Where you at, Gil? Hey, Gil.
See, listen.
Listen, a lot of people
will look at it, right?
And you think it's very expensive.
This one, it's for $20.
It's for $20.
I'm surprised it cost that much.
Yeah.
I pulled one thread
and undressed it.
Yeah, you probably would.
But here, I got it tailored, right?
I got it tailored to fit,
you know, real slim fit because, you know, I got a model-type body it tailored to fit You know real slim fit
Cause you know I got a model type body
Yeah
What rail tell you
Huh
What rail tell you today
You know what
That she be hating
Yeah I ain't no hating
What rail say
Rail told me
You need to get back in the gym
So that kind of stung a little bit
Cause that's like me
Me dating her
And saying like
Oh baby
You know you need to unbig your back.
How would real friends of mine tell her?
She's like,
get in the jail.
Yeah, yeah.
But listen,
I'm a stay-at-home father now.
I don't have time for the gym.
I have nobody to impress.
I already got you now.
I got you now.
I had one tell me,
say, you get a gut,
you get cut.
Ooh, that's tough. Yeah, yeah. That's tough. I had one tell me, say, you get a gut, you get cut. Ooh, that's tough.
Yeah, yeah. That's tough.
Hey.
Man, y'all
ain't gonna get me. Y'all ain't gonna get me up out of here.
Lady Ray said, hey,
guys, I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, so
I need to know, what's your favorite thing to do?
Favorite place to go in Vegas?
And also, where's La Portia being served or sold?
Brezza, Alley, what's the Willis place?
No, no, no, no.
Brezza in Resorts World, Alley 66 in Resorts World Alley 66
in Resorts World
and what's the
they got them in LA
it's something Willie
yeah
what is it called
actually there's one on Cannon
there's one on
on
on Wilshire.
What's that?
Wally's.
Wally's and Wally's.
So it's being served,
it's being poured as Wally's,
Brezza, and Alley 66,
all in a resorts world.
And it's also being sold at Lee's Liquor.
But what's your thing to do?
Okay, listen, when I do go to Vegas,
the few times that I have been to Vegas,
I do the same exact thing
over and over and over. For one,
if you want to do any shopping, there's an H&M
inside Caesars Palace.
Very, very good selection of pieces
that you can buy from.
The shops in Caedars Palace,
why the heck you gonna go to H&M?
They got H&M.
It's inexpensive. Good quality.
Everybody ain't cheap like that.
Yeah, they are.
But anyway, H&M,
Cedars Palace. If you want food,
if you want food, listen to me.
Go to
Soul Food Cafe on Rainbow Boulevard and ask for the Ocho Special.
Ask for the Ocho Special.
And again, if you want some of my cigars, you can go to Resort World, 8 Lounge, and ask for my cigars as well.
And Hortia is also being served at 8 Lounge.
Oh, yeah?
Yep.
There it is.
Knock out two birds with one served at 8 Lounge. Oh, yeah? Yep. There it is. Knock out two birds with one stone at 8 Lounge.
And that is the only thing I do when I go to Vegas.
I don't do anything else outside of that.
Yeah, I'm mainly in the resorts world.
I go to Carver Steakhouse, been to Wally's, been to, as you mentioned, 8 Lounge.
Breakfast. Breakfast in Vegas.ar Lounge. Breakfast.
Breakfast in Vegas.
Grits Cafe. Again,
tell them Ocho sent you.
You get 5% off your meal.
Wow. Yeah.
Yeah. But look, it's
hard to find bad food in Vegas
because, you know, they got all those
five-star, those Michelin chef,
all those James Beard award winners.
And because the food got to be good because I want you to keep coming back.
Right.
And I want you to bring people with you when you come back.
So the buffet, the brunch, everything is excellent.
I don't go to, I don't, I used to go and I go, I was at, I would stay at the MGM, but I stayed at the Belagio.
I stayed at Venetian.
I stayed at this one and that one.
Now, right, since the last two years,
I've only stayed at Resorts World.
So I can only tell you about the places that's in there
and they're great.
So, hey, Resorts World's where it's at.
Jamison Phillips said,
Uncle Nocho, y'all look tired.
Go get some sleep, King.
We appreciate everything y'all do for us,
but rest up, fam.
I ain't tired. Nah, you know. We gonna be on everything y'all do for us, but rest up, fam.
We're going to be up here until 3 o'clock.
No, you're going to be up here until 3 o'clock.
Because I do got to do, what you call it?
I got a lot going on tomorrow.
I got, uh... What you got? What you got?
I got first take.
Since we're in the same, I could be on first take with you.
We could be side by side.
You need to call Stephen A.
And I'm doing a little thing, you know, doing a pilot tomorrow, we could be side by side. You need to call Stephen A. Okay. And, and,
and I'm doing this little thing,
you know,
doing a pilot tomorrow
trying to get it picked up.
I want to go.
God damn!
They said it need one host,
not a whole,
not two hosts.
Nah, but that was a package deal
like LeBron and Bronny.
Come on, man.
Nah, I'm going to No, I'm going to try
to put something together
that you can do.
Yeah, put some boy in there.
Yeah, I'm going to put
something on there.
Yeah, put some boy in there.
And don't require me.
It's going to be you.
Okay, okay, okay.
That's what I'm going to work on.
So that's what I'm going to send
my people back
to the drawing board with.
Come up with something
Ocho can do.
Maybe a game show or something.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I like that.
But you know how game shows work.
Yeah.
You shoot like three,
four episodes a day.
Yeah.
But you shoot them
over the course of like a month.
That's fine.
That's fine.
I'm okay.
Okay.
