So it's been a while, it's been a while, but it's always great to be back. And so, you know, it's been a minute since we've been on the campus, but there's always stories to be told.

Anybody, Joe, we're going to start it out with you. Do you got any dorm room confessions? And then we're going to open it up to the crowd. We're hoping y'all got some dorm room confessions also. Yeah. Yo, yo, I got a little dorm room confession for y'all, man. Now, now, we got to take into account. Now, they were about 20-some years ago, okay?

Yeah, yeah, 20 years ago. I'm going about 99, 2000, something like that. I went to the University of Arkansas for the ones who don't know. My name is Joe Johnson. I go by ISO Joe. So look, check me out. On this one particular day on the yard, man, I'm on the yard. So when you're on the yard, we may hit this little spot.

It's called Little Africa. Little Africa is where all the black people hang out in, okay? Now, you might miss class hanging out on Little Africa, but it's jumping. It's jumping. So I'm on Little Africa. I meet a little, I meet a little y'amie. Y'amie. She was light, bright, damn near white.

You hear me? She was tough. She was tough. She was tough. So, anyhow, I invited her back to my dorm room later on that day, right? So she came and we sat there and we talked. I'm living in the dorms. We got these high beds.

So she's sitting on the bed. If I sit on the bed, my feet are dang. So I'm kind of sitting on the edge. I'm not in between her legs. she giving me a massage. Yeah, y'all, y'all know what I'm talking about. Y'all know. I already know.

I already know. She gave me that big boy massage. I'm like, yeah. Yeah. And meanwhile, I'm sitting between her legs, so I'm rubbing on this left leg right here. It was hard, though. I'm like, yeah, why a leg's so hard?

So, so we get to talking. We're talking. I'm trying to get to know. she's trying to get to know me. She said I was in a real bad car accident. Damn. Said she's a real bad car accident. So for me, I'm thinking in my head,

I wondered if she lose this leg. And she ain't saying nothing. I just got to find out on my own. Man, one thing led to another. Okay? Don't judge me. Okay, that was 20-something years ago. One thing led to another.

Hey, P. Get right, I tighten up. Hey, I never forget, 1997. I went to a school that's not too far from here called Langston University. And there was this young lady I met from Chicago. I used to walk in a class. Every day I used to walk in a class. I never forget.

Chicago, Chicago, her name was Barbara. I think she was a GD. So I walked, I walked Barbara to class Monday, and I walk at a class Tuesday, and a, in a Wednesday come, and I'm standing outside waiting to walk Barbara to class, and Barbara don't show up. And I had a roommate. I had a roommate at Langston, here with Chicago, too. I think it was GD. and so my mind, I'm like, well, damn, what Barbara at the day? We always get at the same time at the cafeteria, boom.

We're going to shoot the class after lunch. So I don't know what happened. You know, I'm young, so I'm a little unseasoned at the time. So I'm hurt a little bit. So I go to my room, and the door, the door lock, we always keep the dough open. So I push the door, and there's something jamming the door from opening. And I hear my home boy Who is that?

But what you mean? Who is that? Boy, it's me, man. Open the door. And man, it took me forever security. I had to get security just to come open the door because you were open the door. Long story short, man.

He had a girl barren. Oh, man. I'm sorry, you know. Yeah, they're most in the soul. Yeah, it's all good. It's all good because she in my DMs and my Instagram trying to haul her again. Old Farber

As y'all know, I'm the oldest, I'm the senior member of this group. I graduated in 91. I went to college in 86. God damn. I'm as old as your mom and dad, maybe even your grandma and granddad.

So this story happened in 1987. Anybody was born in 87? Okay. But anyway, let's a long story short. I had these two teammates. They were roommates. And this one roommate used to bring this young lady. Let's just say it was a girl.

Let's not say it was his girl because it's going to be real nasty if I said it was his girl. Let's say a girl. And he would always bring her because I don't know if it's still like this now, but when I went to school, you couldn't have the opposite sex in your room because we only had one co-ed dorm. So if you brought someone of the opposite sex to your room, you got kicked out for a semester. for a quarter. We was on the quarter system back then. But anyway,

so he would always bring his girl to the room and then he would kick his roommate out. So his roommate's like, man, I'm not getting out anymore. I'm on scholarship. I know y'all don't like them early class. y'all like to start your class at noon but I was an early rise of myself but this don't this is not me this is not me so I don't want y'all to say man oh you did that no aunt didn't do that but anyway he goes to the bathroom take him a shower joe he showered up real real yeah yeah take him a lot about 15

minute long one yeah yeah man you come back to the room think y'all know what happened yeah and it was it was a it was a fight tell him you can't be bringing your people around everybody everybody don't you know view you like a brother or we're not going to do that so that's my that's my uh dorm room confession all right who has the dorm room confession they want to share come on man you put your hand up right you come on yeah come on up come on yeah you i need i need to hear good one don't be shy i want to hear what these new school cats got gone don't we've got a dorm confession they want to share okay Don't be shy. What's happening?

My name is Larry Haines and I'm a senior here at P.V. So I'm going to tell my story real quick. I went to two different universities. So I went to Texas State first on this story from Texas State. Right? So when I went to Texas State, right, it was a girl that I met on Snapchat. And if anybody know about Snapchat, y'all know you don't really get to see nothing unless you've got the story. So I only seen about the story, right?

So it was this girl. I was kicking it. I talked to her for a little bit. And I was like, okay, like, you can slide back to my dorm real quick. I live by myself, right? I lived in this, like, storage unit because Texas State got a little small. It was too much going on, right? So she showed up.

I got to talk to her for a minute. And she's sitting on the side of the bed. like, okay, cool, we're kind of chopping it up, baby. She said, I can't really move my leg too much, right? You mean you can't move your leg? We're kind of like cuddling up in the bed, right? And I'm like, can't move your leg, what you mean? So she's like, nah, it ain't nothing, it ain't nothing, right? So I try to go ahead and, like, you know, get active with her a little bit, kind of move with

her a little bit. And so when I'm trying to get active with her, I try to put her in a little different, I ain't going to say the position, but I try to put it in a position, you know what I mean? So when I tried to put in a position, she said, my hip, I can't. I say, what's wrong with your hip? She said, I got a middle hip. I said, oh, what didn't happen, right? She said, I don't hurt myself, right?

I said, okay, cool. So I try to put in that position, I put her there, and I'm like, okay, cool. We was there for about a minute, two minutes, right? And I'm like, okay, she said, to my hip's starting hurting. My hip hurt, right? And I'm like, okay, cool. Then she said, I got arthritis. I said, hold on.

Hold on now, baby. You can't be doing this to me now. You can't keep doing this to me. So we kind of do it for about 10 minutes, and I couldn't even get myself up at that point. Because you didn't tell me you got the middle hip, and now you got all the riders, right? And I'm like, okay, now I can't do myself like that.

So we're doing it. She's feeling it a little too much more than I'm feeling, and I'm like, oh, what am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do at this point? So I tell I'm like, all right. I'm like, all right, this is gonna be over from there. We gotta go ahead and end it from there. But that's my little story.

So I'm driving, I'm driving, like, sneaking in and all that. And I get stopped at the dog, right? It's one of my other, the, you feel me? Oh, man. Come on. Oh, come on. Come on. You were doing it like that?

Come on. Oh, okay. Look. So she's stopping me at the dog. She, like, she's already on that. Like, she's already, like, yelling, doing all that, you know. Yeah. So she yelling.

I'm trying to calm her down. I'm like, I like, my cousin go here. Like, you know what? I'm saying. Yeah. I'm telling her that's my cousin, right? And so she's trying to, like, you know how, like, they be peeking around the corner, they be trying to, like, see who you're trying to go in with and stuff like that?

Yeah. So I'm driving waited for, like, 15, 25 minutes. Like, just trying to get in the dorm, right? I get in the dorm. I'm happy. Like, I'm like, I made it. Like, you know what I'm saying? I'm turned.

Yeah, you got rescued. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Bro. look I don't know if it's because I did a little dance I think I was too excited right I did a little dance she's like uh-uh

I'm going to tell you all the crazy part and really get off the stage. So come spring, spring fest, we own what we used to call this Crenshaw, the boulevard. It used to be

female dorms on this side. And so we sit now and I turn and I look. And it's a dude hanging out the four-flow window of the evening. I'm like, yo, this is wild. And same thing. All right first through. Boom. Look, the fool let go.

excited, what's the key to success here? You know, I get asked that question a lot, man. And I'm going to be real with you. It's the people, man. It's the students in this crowd. It's the administrators. When we got word that y'all was trying to come down here, man, it was last minute, really. Yes. You know what I'm saying? And you see how it turned out. You know what I'm saying? Yes. This doesn't happen just AD golf or Coach Jackson. Like there was a lot of people on campus, man, that came together because we wanted to make sure you got treated like family,

and we wanted to have a great experience for our students here. So it's the people, man. Hey, Coach, Texas Southern Week, his different Ryan here at PV. I had an opportunity to be here when my daughter went to school here. What's one thing you need every Panther fan, every Panther. every Panther fan doing on game day to bring the energy.
