He plays really well, you know, playing against some of those good receivers in the division.

including Chase as well, but it's tough, especially when it comes to this business and the timing of when it's time to get paid. It sucks. It sucks with players that the upper echelon of their position and have to fight, you know, and scrawling cratch, you know, for scrawling cratch for what they deserve. Do you think those guys get compensated or get their contracts taking care of before the season start of Ocho? Yeah, I believe so. Both of them?

Yeah, absolutely. They have to. Because, I mean, that defense, especially over there with the Steelers, you understand how important Joey Porter Jr. is. You understand. Obviously, they have Asante Sammy Jr. who's on the opposite side of him. I'm not sure who the number three is. Whoever the number three is is playing in Joey Porter's position right now. But you need him.

You need him for that offense to go. Christian Gonzalez, I think his dealer get done before the game starts. And I've seen it happen before. Yeah. Right before a game start, Joe. Yeah. All of a sudden, they'll come across the ticker before the game at the clock, said player gets his deal done.

And it makes you happy. Yeah. It makes me happy. And you go out there and play. And right now, I don't want those two players to have to be worried about their contract situations while trying to play football because that's a distraction. Right. And then there's also a slap in the face.

For one, we have to be arguing and fussing and waiting on your money. Yeah. Your player's already done the talking. So now you just how y'all feel about me? I got the wait. What does New England history tell you? They let Tyler walk. Yes.

Sanchez Samuel walk. Yes. They let Johnson walk. Mm-hmm. What does that tell you? Top corners, Pro Bowl corners. Yes. They let them walk.

Well, I think they thought Gonzalez was going to be really, really good because they identified him and he's been, and the thing is, but I don't get, is that you draft the guy that high, you think so highly of him. And he plays exactly like you thought he would play. Now you don't want to pay him.

Or maybe we gonna pay you, we gonna pay you, gonna make you wait a little bit so we can make sure the books are right. But they don't like to play top dollar, Ocho. They don't. Remember when Randy asked for top dollar? Yeah.

What did they do? Even with Tom, they didn't even give Tom top dollar. They didn't even give Tom top dollar. You know why? Because for the longest time, Tom took a hometown discount, and they would tell you, I can't pay you more than Brady.

So now they've adopted their philosophy. Yeah. They don't want to pay top dollar. They paid Richard Seymour top dollar, ended up trading him. Got rid of Logan Mankins. Go back and look, go, go, just study the Patriots.

And then when I see it's like, what my watches? Then it, now it's starting to dawn on me. Yeah. Broken glass, my watch is gone. What was my backpack that was sitting on the couch? is gold. Like, damn.

You ain't had, go in the closet. Go ahead, don't you? You had no cameras? None. Damn. I was, I was leased in the house. Okay, okay, okay, okay.

So I go in the closet, and they had went through a couple of drawers. And the one drawer, it was one more drawer, the bottom right. They go through that, Joe. All they got to do is look in there. There's a box.

The box is out of place. Yeah, they're going to take that whole box. We'll have took the whole box. Damn. I said, you know what? I went straight. That was a Friday night. That's Saturday morning.

I went to the safety, put it back in the safety, the money, the cash to the safety part of the box. So they never know both. So he's about eight, eight months old. Hmm. But burn a valuable lesson, man. That's like, insurance company. It's like, hey, they say with Mr. Sharp, you know, everything is covered. But like, that don't do me no good. I want my stuff back. Yeah.

I want my stuff back. Oh, well, but sometimes, you know, we got to be, we got to be smart about stuff.
